Inside Alexandra Daddario's 'Charming' 600-Square-Foot Starter Home

Just two months ago, Alexandra Daddario was making major real estate moves. In mid-September, The White Lotus star, 35, moved in with her movie producer boyfriend, Andrew Form, 52, with the couple plunking down $7.3 million for a luxurious love nest in Los Angeles' celebrity-packed Hancock Park neighborhood. Less than a week later, she was listing her New York City studio apartment, signaling she no longer needed her bachelorette pad and had found her forever home.

Located in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, the studio residence was put up for sale for just under $500,000 — $16,000 less than what Daddario originally paid for it earlier this year, per Dirt. While the Baywatch actress is still looking for a buyer, here's what she'll be giving up.

Open-Plan With A Nook

Located on a "quintessential" tree-lined street in Chelsea, Daddario's co-op-style apartment sits on the 15th floor of a 19-story midrise 1930 building.

Spanning roughly 600 square feet of living space, the "charming" prewar residence features nine-foot-tall beamed ceilings, lustrous hardwood floors, and a fluid open-floor plan that's practical and versatile, as Daddario herself proved it when she tore down a built-in Murphy bed to free up a living room nook that she later repurposed as a coquettish dining area -- which also has home office potential, per People.

The trendy living room opens into a "contemporary" kitchen that has been remodeled with all-white, custom cabinets and modern, stainless appliances, per a Compass listing. Dark marbled countertops and a Turkish blue brick backsplash are among the "luxurious finishes" found throughout the apartment, with a large kitchen window letting in plenty of natural light.

Likewise, the main living space is also painted white, with a colorful piece of artwork accenting the wall opposite the kitchen and elegant black-and-white sketches adorning the nook. A blown-up photo of Marilyn Monroe at Grand Central Station hangs above a sleek end table, with a peach armchair highlighting the white fuzzy rug in front of a pastel-pink sofa. Candlesticks and potted plants are also part of the posh decor.

Stylish Bedroom

Immediately adjacent to the living room, the stylish, open-plan bedroom comes with a few commodious amenities, such as a custom-made walk-in closet with a dresser that's included in the sale. A polished nightstand mirrors the end table across the room, emphasizing the fluidity of the space.

Right next to the bedroom, the updated vintage bathroom features "classic" chessboard tiles and a pedestal sink beneath a mirrored medicine cabinet.

By the bathroom, a "welcoming" foyer adds a touch of sophistication, whereas "stunning" oversized casement windows scattered about the place afford incredible views of NYC, which become all the more mesmerizing once you step out on the roof deck.

Expansive Roof Deck

The spacious, well-lit studio comes with access to an expansive communal roof terrace that offers gorgeous views of the NYC skyline. Penelope Cruz is Playing One of the Most 'Difficult Characters' in 'Madres Paralelas'

Penelope Cruz's latest film, Madres Paralelas, made its debut at the 78th Venice Film Festival earlier this year after the festival's opening ceremony and according to the actress, it wasn't the easiest project she's taken on.

As a report from the Insider in September 2021 explained, the film features the story of two women who cross paths with one another at a hospital, where they are both due to give birth.

"I think this is one of the most difficult characters I've ever played but it has allowed me to learn a lot about myself," Cruz told journalists at a press conference.

Honored to Be a Part of the Film

Cruz said that her time on the set of the film "was an overwhelming journey, and a gift" and added that "it was an honor to be part of something so important."

While Cruz was certainly excited to see the film make its debut months ago, the event wasn't without controversy as a number of people couldn't quickly access the event.

According to Deadline, Madres Paralelas began playing at the festival without its full list of guests because they were stuck in line.

Long Lines

Prior to the start of the film, long lines began to form at the screening of Madres Paralelas due to the COVID-19 restrictions put into place and the usual security checks. So, when the film started, many ticket holders were frustrated to learn that they would have to wait, and would ultimately miss at least a portion of Cruz's new project.

When the Insider arrived to the event, they saw plenty of long lines -- and not a whole lot of social distancing.

Inspiration Behind 'Madres Paralelas'

Speaking to Variety in February of this year, Pedro Almodóvar, the film's Oscar-winning director revealed how his personal life inspired the flick.

"With 'Madres paralelas' I return to the female universe, to motherhood, to the family. I speak of the importance of ancestors and descendants. The inevitable presence of memory. There are many mothers in my filmography, the ones that are part of this story are very different," he said.

Almodóvar went on to say that when it comes to mothers, he's never looking for perfection in female figures.

'Imperfect Mothers'

Continuing on to the outlet, Almodóvar said that he is inspired by "imperfect mothers" before discussing the stars of his film.

"As a storyteller, imperfect mothers inspire me most at this time. Penélope Cruz, Aitana Sánchez Gijón and the young Milena Smit will play the three mothers in the film, accompanied by Israel Elejalde as the main male character. It is also a collaboration with my beloved Julieta Serrano and Rossy de Palma. 'Parallel Mothers' will be an intense drama. Or so I hope," he stated.

Miley Cyrus' Openness About Her Mental Health Is Inspiring & Refreshing

A role model to many for the way she always embraces life, Miley Cyrus openly shares it all with her fans -- from her triumphs to her self-doubts and not so glamorous moments.

The award-winning pop star, 29, who has recently confessed she initially felt she was too "dark" to be the face of Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau Perfume, never hesitates to get candid about her emotions no matter where she is, be that on Instagram Live, in therapy, or on stage.

With her Bright Minded talk show on Instagram serving as a beacon of inspiration during the pandemic, Miley is a big mental health advocate and that transpires in everything she does. Scroll for details.

Getting Sober

Back in June 2020, Miley was celebrating six months of sobriety following her vocal cord surgery in November 2019. Emerging from the experience drug- and alcohol-free and with a fresh zest for life, Miley spoke honestly about her lifestyle change, saying she drew inspiration from her family and the mental health struggles her famous parents, Billy Ray Cyrus, 60, and Tish Cyrus, 54, faced when they were younger.

"I've been sober sober for the past six months,'' Miley said on the The Big Ticket podcast. "At the beginning, it was just about this vocal surgery. […] But I had been thinking a lot about my mother. My mom was adopted, and I inherited some of the feelings she had, the abandonment feelings and wanting to prove that you're wanted and valuable."

Family's Mental Health Struggles

The Plastic Hearts artist, who revealed she explored her family's history during therapy, said that finding out about her parents' battle with addiction and toxic emotions helped strengthen her own mental health.

"I did a lot of family history, which has a lot of addiction and mental health challenges," Miley shared, per Today. "So just going through that and asking, 'Why am I the way that I am?' By understanding the past, we understand the present and the future much more clearly."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer, who, by her own admission, has also learned a lot from her dad's hardships as a child of divorce, concluded: "I think therapy is great."

Near-Panic Attack Onstage

More recently, the Golden Globes and Grammy Awards nominee impressed fans with her refreshing honesty during her onstage performance at Milwaukee's Summerfest in September. In between a powerful rendition of "23" alongside Wiz Khalifa and "Malibu," Miley took a little break from singing to get candid with her audience, disclosing she almost had a panic attack earlier in the show.

"Like everyone else for the last year and a half, I've been locked away and isolated, and it is very stunning to be back in a place that used to feel like second nature," Miley confessed. "Being on stage used to feel like being at home, and it doesn't anymore."

The "We Can't Stop" singer, who assured fans "there's nowhere I'd rather be" than onstage, went on to describe how living through the pandemic for a year-and-a-half was "startling and terrifying."

"Coming out of [the pandemic] is slightly terrifying," she said in her five-minute speech. "So I just wanted to be honest with how I'm feeling."

Lauded for her transparency by music reporter Piet Levy, who was in the audience and got the entire moment on camera, Miley also talked about how one can feel empowered by allowing themselves to be vulnerable around other people.

"The last year kind of removed this divide, this curtain, and we're allowing people to see us in our most vulnerable, our most isolated, our most hurt, our most scared states," she continued. "And I think that's something really empowering… "

Turpin Siblings' Former Guardian Addresses Damning Allegations

David and Louise Turpin tortured and imprisoned, their 13 children for years, until their daughter Jordan escaped and contacted the authorities.

They were both sentenced to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole after 25 years.

ABC News' 20/20 special on the Turpin family, which was broadcast this month, shed some light on the horrifying abuse the 13 siblings went through.

But it also showed how the system let down the Turpins, placing the siblings in abusive foster homes and allowed incompetent and allegedly corrupt guardians to take care of them.

Vanessa Espinoza

Vanessa Espinoza, a former deputy public guardian who was assigned to help the seven oldest Turpin children, commented on the accusations leveled against her in a Facebook post.

As The Sun reported, Espinoza said that she has "no issues" cooperating with the investigation into her wrongdoings "so that my name can be cleared from these false allegations."

"While I understand the seriousness of these allegations. I would appreciate the public's recognition that the investigation has yet to be completed," said Espinoza, who now works as a real estate broker.

Espinoza Defends Herself

"Due to the confidentiality on this case, I am VERY limited on the information I that I can provide," Espinoza wrote on her Facebook page, noting that she was assigned to seven Turpin siblings.

"Additionally, any and all funds received on behalf of those individuals, have always been accounted for to the court, the individuals' court-appointed attorneys, the Riverside County Public Guardian's County Counsel, Public Guardian's upper management, and the individuals themselves."

Espinoza added that she was not fired from her position as Deputy Public Guardian for Riverside County, but actually quit.

What Is Espinoza Accused Of?

Espinoza's job was to help the seven Turpin siblings adjust to the outside world, provide housing, health care, education, and make them feel safe.

According to several Turpins, Espinoza neglected them and was completely unwilling to help. She even refused to answer simple questions, telling the siblings to "just go Google" and take care of themselves.

The Turpin siblings say the system let them down completely and claim they are forced to live in unsafe neighborhoods and fend for themselves. Some allegedly live in poverty and struggle to put food on the table.

Petition Against Espinoza

Activist have launched a petition to revoke Espinoza's real estate broker license.

"Before [Espinoza's] termination as their case manager, she placed these children and young adults in dangerous living conditions resulting in assault and exposure to high crime, in foster care deemed unsafe by courts, and neglected to provide transitional support to the older children who as a result experienced homelessness, hunger, and a lack of resources," the petition claims.

"The Uniform Professional Code and the statutes within the scope of the CA Department of Licensing provide ample justification to call a hearing to suspend or revoke Vanessa Espinoza's real estate license," it says.

The same goes for the Plastic Hearts singer's family. The Cyrus clan is also close-knit, so Grammy award winner Billy Ray Cyrus and daughter Noah Cyrus may attend.

Hopetown Entertainment Is Producing The Event

Den of Thieves and Hopetown Entertainment (Miley and mom, Tish Cyrus' production company) are co-producing alongside Lorne Michaels. The LOL actress is also an executive producer for the event. What a way to ring in the New Year – We meant it when we said Miley is up to great things in 2022.

Lindsay Shookus, Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager, and Barb Bialkowski are executive producers, with Joe DeMaio in the Director's seat.

Miley Cyrus recently celebrated Thanksgiving with her family – sister Noah and mom Tish. She shared a picture of the three of them with her 153 million Instagram followers. The Party In The USA singer also used social media to tease her Collab with Davidson.
