Selena Gomez looked drop-dead gorgeous in a pink, girly, and floaty floral dress in her latest Instagram share, one also bringing major news. The Only Murders in the Building actress and Rare beauty founder was back to shouting out her music career this week, updating to announce her joy at a Grammy nomination and stunning fans in the process.

Selena has never been nominated for a Grammy, but there's a first time for everyone. See the 29-year-old's photo and more news below.

Landing First Grammy Nomination

2022 Grammys

Next year's Grammys nominations made headlines yesterday for seemingly having 18-year-old pop star Olivia Rodrigo as top-slot favorite, although nominations also include 44-year-old rapper Kanye West, pop star Taylor Swift, plus House of Gucci star Lady Gaga and collaborator Tony Bennett. "Peaches" singer Justin Bieber - who dated Selena back in the day - is also nominated.

Selena may have branched into acting and cosmetics - oh, and cooking -, but the Texas-born star still has music as her first love.

'Best Song' She's Ever Released

Selena has revealed which track she feels is her strongest release.

"'Lose You to Love Me' I felt was the best song I've ever released, and for some people it still wasn't enough," the singer revealed of her 2019 drop, adding: "I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I'm so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it'll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music."

Khloe Kardashian Criticized In Tight Tank During Gucci Giveaway

Khloe Kardashian isn't having the easiest time as her big Gucci giveaway turns sour. The 37-year-old reality star and Good American founder is facing backlash as she promises fans a massive prize on Instagram, with followers seemingly shading both Khloe herself and the massive prize. Earlier this week, the E! star promised $35,000 cash and $7,000 worth of luxury Gucci accessories, but users are now dubbing the whole thing "sketchy."

The Kardashians have their giveaways down to an art, although this one somehow missed the mark.

Khloe Slammed In Prize Giveaway

Scroll for photos. Sister Kim Kardashian recently promised fans tons of $$$ in a similar giveaway - the trend also carries beyond the A-Listers, with model Demi Rose having done the same thing. Khloe got a "KHLO NO" by The Sun after updating her Instagram in ripped, acid-wash jeans and a tight tan tank as she posed with a huge yellow Gucci holdall and plenty more of the brand's bags around her.

Khloe stunned in her trendy look, but it was the message leaving a sour taste in fans' mouths.

The designer bag giveaway has also involved sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner in the past, with mom Kris Jenner also joining in.

Khloe likely earned a pretty penny for the ad, with the star charging per post as she continues to update for her 198 million Instagram followers. Her fanbase is just behind that of sister Kendall, who recently hit 200 million followers on IG.

Dakota Johnson received all kinds of thumbs-up as photos of her in black suspender underwear circulated the digital space earlier this year. The 50 Shades of Grey actress has been prepping for new psychological thriller The Nowhere Inn, and it looks like fans can expect some steamy girl-on-girl action.

The 32-year-old Texan native had set photos of her in lacy lingerie shared by The Daily Mail in August, and it was hot stuff as the brunette showed off her killer figure.

The internet may be convinced she's dating Chris Evans but last week Selena Gomez had no trouble showing affection for another celebrity she was once rumored to be romancing.

Stepping out at the New York Knicks game on November 17, the 29-year-old singer and actress was seen with none other than supermodel and movie star Cara Delevingne, also 29, with the pair even sharing a sweet kiss on the Madison Square Garden jumbotron, Page Six reported.

The outing came mere days after the "Good for You" singer was spotted wearing a white cable knit that looked remarkably like Chris' famous sweater from Knives Out.

Grabbing headlines the very next day, the ladies' cute Kiss Cam moment happened five minutes into the second quarter, with Selena being the kisser and Cara the kissee. Louis Vuitton, High-End Stores Targeted As Smash & Grabs Continue

Louis Vuitton stores in several American cities were targeted this week by brazen criminals, who were recorded running into high-end stores and stealing as much merchandise as possible.

Several such attacks recently took place in San Francisco, and seem to be part of a smash and grab epidemic. A Louis Vuitton store in Chicago has also been targeted, with criminals stealing merchandise worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Yet another smash and grab attack took place on Monday evening in Los Angeles, California.

LA Luxury Mall

At around 10:40 p.m. Monday, thieves smashed their way into a Nordstrom store at The Grove retail and entertainment complex in Los Angeles, according to SFGate.

The attack triggered a law enforcement pursuit, with Los Angeles Police Department officers chasing an SUV involved in the crime. Three individuals were taken into custody that night, but it remains unclear how many people were involved in the smash and grab, according to the department's spokesman.

Days earlier, a store in Beverly Hills was targeted in a similar way.

What Is Happening?

Are these attacks coordinated and, if yes, who is behind them?

Noting that thieves have targeted high-end stores, stealing expensive jewelry, sunglasses, bags, and similar clothing items, SFGate reported that authorities believe these attacks are "part of sophisticated criminal networks."

These criminal networks reportedly recruit young people to steal merchandise, and then sell it in online marketplaces.

Law enforcement officials believe the attacks have intensified because the holiday season is approaching. The National Retail Federation, meanwhile, recently said that perpetrators are becoming increasingly aggressive.

Organized Smash & Grabs

President of the Coalition of Law Enforcement and Retail Ben Dugan said that smash and grabs are organized by local criminals, who take orders from more sophisticated criminal organizations.

Thieves reportedly get paid between $500 and $1,000 to steal as much merchandise as possible.

"Crew bosses organize them, they'll give him the crowbars, and in some cases even rent them cars, or provide them with escape routes or a list of products to actually go out and steal. It looks very chaotic but it's actually very well organized," Dugan explained.

"We're not talking about someone who needs money or needs food. These are people who go out and do this is for high profit, and for the thrill," he added.

Gavin Newsom Speaks Up

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom addressed the smash and grabs at a press conference Monday.

"I have no sympathy, no empathy whatsoever for people smashing and grabbing, stealing people's items, creating havoc and terror on our streets. None. Period. Full stop," he said, as reported by The Washington Examiner.

"We want real accountability, we want people prosecuted, and we want people to feel safe this holiday season," Newsom continued.

The governor added that he will order the California Highway Patrol to step up enforcement around shopping malls, stressing that his goal is to "protect people and respect people's rights, including small-business owners."

WWE Raw: Seth Rollins Attacked By Fan

During WWE Raw on Monday night at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, a fan jumped the barricade separating the audience from performers and tackled Seth Rollins.

The attack took place following Rollins' match against with Finn Balor. It was obvious right away that the fan wasn't a part of the show, since the camera quickly cut away as the two men went to the ground.

However, multiple fan videos that have been circulating on Twitter and other social networks show that Rollins could have been seriously injured.

As Newsweek reported, the videos show Rollins walking up the entrance ramp towards the backstage area after his match with Balor.

The attacker is then seen jumping over a side barricade and running toward Rollins. Evidently blindsided, Rollins was forced to the ground.

The wrestler and the fan struggled for a while, until security and the referee intervened. Members of the audience were shocked, and many recorded the incident with their phones.

One of the viral fan videos was posted to Twitter by Chris Van Vliet and can be viewed below.

Rollins Wasn't Injured

The videos show that Rollins exploded with anger when the fan tackled him, and proceeded to scream and shout after security broke off the fight.

Fortunately, even though he appeared to be bleeding, the wrestler was not injured in the attack.

In a statement, the WWE said that it "takes the safety of its performers very seriously," and noted that the attacker has been taken into custody by the New York Police Department.

"The individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," the WWE said.

Support For Rollins

Several prominent commentators expressed support for Rollins following the incident.

TV Insider contributor Scott Fishman said that "performers like Rollins already put their body on the line wrestling and entertaining us regularly."

"They shouldn't have to look over their shoulder and worry about idiots going after them," Fishman added.

Wrestling writer Louis Dangoor, meanwhile, took to Twitter to praise Rollins for "showing restraint" in what was a difficult and violent situation.

"Seth Rollins handled the situation last night with the upmost class. You cannot take anything away from him," he wrote.

Similar Incidents

This was not the first time for Rollins to find himself in an uncomfortable situation during a live WWE broadcast.

In 2015, as Tech Times reported, a fan managed to jump the barricade at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore and stand next to Rollins.

The individual then walked alongside Rollins down the ramp, causing John Cena to break character and yell.

Security reacted within seconds and Rollins was not harmed in the incident, but many at the time urged WWE to reevaluate its safety procedures, noting that the fan could have easily harmed the wrestler.

Previously owned by The Weeknd, Madonna slapped up the lavish Hidden Hills home earlier this year for $19.3 million. The 63-year-old megastar closed the deal on April 9, bargaining $2.7 million off of the price, per the _New York Post.

As for The Weekend, his tenure lasted for four years, with the "Save Your Tears" singer, 31, listing the 3-acre property last June for a whopping $25 million. Even with the slashed price, he still made a profit after paying $18.2 million for the brand-new home in 2017 when it was built.

Illinois Democrat Fired For Calling Waukesha Attack 'Karma'

Hundreds gathered in Waukesha, Wisconsin on Sunday evening for the traditional Christmas Parade, when a red SUV drove through a series of barricades and plowed through the crowd.

Thirty nine-year-old Darrell Brooks Jr., who was behind the wheel of the car, killed at least five people and injured more than 40 others, including several children.

The tragedy shook the nation to its core, but apparently one Illinois Democrat decided to seize on it for cheap political points, likening what happened to the Kyle Rittenhouse shootings.

Mary Lemanski

As The New York Post, it was Illinois Democratic social media director Mary Lemanski's reaction to the Waukesha tragedy that sparked outrage.

In since-deleted social media posts, Lemanski sarcastically said that the Waukesha killer "probably felt threatened" and acted in "self-defense," just like Rittenhouse.

"You reap what you sow. I just believe in Karma and this came around quick on the citizens of Wisconsin," she wrote.

Hours later, Lemanski apologized to the DuPage Democratic Party, conceding that her tweets were "not in good taste" and claiming to have resigned from her position.

DuPage Democrats Respond

The DuPage Democratic Party clarified that Lemanski did not resign, but was fired over her heinous remarks.

"The Democratic Party of DuPage County immediately severed all ties with Mary Lemanski once became aware of her callous and reprehensible posts. She does not speak for us and we unequivocally reject her statements about the tragic events that occurred yesterday in Waukesha," party chair Ken Mejia-Beal said in a statement posted to Twitter.

"We as a party denounce violence of any kind. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families impacted by this heinous act, which shocked and saddened us all," he added.

Celebrating Tragedy

Mejia-Beal confirmed that Lemanski worked as the party's social media director before being fired, stressing that "we don't applaud or celebrate tragedy."

"This was a tragedy. These were folks that were out at a joyous occasion having a great time at a beautiful and festive time of the year," he said.

Mejia-Beal added that he called Lemanski after seeing her posts, but noted that there "really wasn't a lot said" during their conversation.

"She really didn't explain very much to me at all. There's not really much to explain," he stated.

Twitter Slams Lemanski

As The Sun reported, as soon as Lemanski made her comments, Twitter users responded with rage.

"Honey, get the medical help you so desperately need," one person wrote.

"I hope you never know the pain of losing a child. I hope the parents of those lost today in Waukesha never know you. I feel sad for both you and them," another one added.

Evangelist Franklin Graham, meanwhile, said on Twitter that "this is a time for love, support, and prayer."

"What Mary Lemanski tweeted is not funny and could incite more violence," Graham wrote.
