Stella Maxwell Impresses Famous Friends In Versace Bathrobe

Model Stella Maxwell had her celebrity friends rushing to leave the thumbs-up as she proudly showed off in a fluffy Versace bathrobe yesterday. The 31-year-old former Victoria's Secret Angel has been busy shouting out the queen bee of Italian fashion on Instagram, with her latest post doubling up as self-care look and a giant nod to Donatella Versace.

Posting for a new campaign and modeling a robe loved by the likes of rapper Nicki Minaj, Stella stayed "Team DV." See how below.

Scroll for the photo. Versace, fronted by major faces at this year's fashion show and - via its partnership with Fendi - bringing the likes of Dua Lipa and Demi Moore on the runway, had outfitted Stella in an all-white and glam robe, one adorned with the luxury label's signature gold leaf print.

Shot in a studio and on a cushion boasting Renaissance motifs, Maxwell, posed looking at the camera as she rocked the waist-cinched robe - "DV" on the back shouted out legendary designer Donatella.

Not Her First Versace Gig

Maxwell fronted Versace's watches back in 2019. This year, she joined in the runway fun at the "Fendace" show also bringing 30-year-old supermodel Emily Ratajkowski and new SKIMS face Kate Moss strutting their stuff. Posting photos from the show to her social media, Stella wrote:

"#versaceSS22 @versace thank you @donatella_versace for having me 💛styled by @kjeldgaard1 dream hair and makeup by @patmcgrathreal @guidopalau @piergiorgio @samuel_ellis."

Ballerina Plans

In September 2020, a high-profile feature brought the European beauty opening up on her sexuality and her career.

Going into next week's episode of Dancing With the Stars, which will have a "Rhythm Nation" theme spotlighting Janet Jackson, we've found ourselves reminded of a past contestant who also danced to the tune of one of the pop star's greatest hits.

As the remaining members of the ABC competition series' 30th season, including Jimmie Allen, Melora Hardin, Olivia Jade, Amanda Kloots, Suni Lee, Cody Rigsby, Iman Shumpert, and JoJo Siwa, gear up for Monday night, we're looking back on an episode of season 29.

Paso Doble to 'If'

According to a report from E! News on November 1, it wasn't too long ago when the sounds of Janet rang out in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom. In fact, it was just one season ago when actress Skai Jackson hit the dance floor with partner Alan Bersten.

During the season's "Icons Night," Skai and Alan danced the Paso doble to Janet's "If" and received three 9s for their performance, bringing their grand total to 27 points for the evening.

Skai Looks Up to Janet

Speaking at the time of her thoughts on Janet, Skai had nothing but good things to say, applauding the musician not only for her talents in the world of entertainment, but also her activism.

"Even though Janet is an amazing performer, the thing I admire most is that she is an activist," Skai told the judges amid her performance. "She isn't afraid to speak up in what she believes in and use her voice for good. That's really important to me."

Fifth Place

Following her performance to Janet's hit song, Skai found herself coming in at the fifth position on _Dancing With the Stars, with actress Justina Machado, rapper Nelly, and television host Nev Schulman eliminated, in that order, in the weeks that followed.

When all was said and done, former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe, who was partnered with professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev, took home the Mirror Ball Trophy.

While Skai may not have won it all, she certainly won over the hears of viewers with her performance to "If."

Anna Kendrick Does Halloween With 'Pitch Perfect' Co-Stars

Anna Kendrick had a mini reunion with some of her Pitch Perfect co-stars for Halloween. Fans of the franchise couldn't help but get excited to see the girls together again.

The Bellas haven't had a public reunion since September, when Rebel Wilson took the group to a private island for her birthday celebration.

Fans got excited seeing the Bellas in one photo, fueling more rumors of the possibility of another Pitch Perfect movie.

Promoting 'Love Life' Season 2

Kendrick has been busy promoting season 2 of Love Life. The 10-episode season premiered on HBO Max on October 28.

The second season has shifted focus from Anna Kendrick's character Darby Carter to Marcus Watkins, played by William Jackson Harper of The Good Place.

In an interview, Kendrick has compared the show to Marvel, saying that the series has so many interesting characters the audience can look forward to.

"There are a lot of interesting characters from this season that could work great to expand on. It's like a Marvel Universe for adult dramedy."

Pitch Perfect Halloween Edition

Taking a break from work, Kendrick reunited with some of the Bellas to attend a Halloween party in LA.

The girls were all dressed in their Halloween costumes and they definitely looked impressive. Chrissie Fit dressed as Lydia from Beetlejuice, Brittany Snow went as Edith in classic horror film The Birds, and Rebel Wilson was player 456 from Squid Game.

While the ladies got their looks dead on, Kendrick took the easy way and just put on some red horns with her casual get-up.

Madonna Slams Cancel Culture In Bold Marilyn Monroe-Inspired Cover Shoot

Madonna is speaking out on cancel culture. In a photo essay for V Magazine, wherein she honors Marilyn Monroe and her Last Sitting shoot with Bert Stern, the 63-year-old pop icon weighed into the cancel culture phenomenon, denouncing censorship as "frightening."

"No one's allowed to say what they really think," the "Queen of Pop" told playwright Jeremy O. Harris.

Their interview comes amid Dave Chapelle's The Closer controversy, with the comedian facing cancellation after being accused of making anti-Semitic and transphobic comments in the Netflix special.

Madonna herself has come under fire for her V Magazine feature, which the star has been promoting on Instagram, with critics saying the photos allude to Monroe's "death bed."

Disturbing The Peace

Building on one of the opening phrases of her Madame X concert film -- "Artists are here to disturb the peace" -- Madonna told Harris that what she's aiming to disturb as of now is the lack of discussion and debate.

"The way people think about the pandemic, for instance, that the vaccination is the only answer or the polarization of thinking you're either on this side or the other. There's no debate, there's no discussion," the superstar said in the interview. "That's something I want to disturb."

The "Vogue" singer continued: "I want to disturb the fact that we're not encouraged to discuss it. I believe that our job [as artists] is to disturb the status quo."

Blasts Censoring & Cancel Culture

Always leading by example, Madonna went on to provoke "the censoring that's going on in the world right now," which she labeled as "pretty frightening."

"No one's allowed to speak their mind right now. No one's allowed to say what they really think about things for fear of being canceled, cancel culture," the influential musician and actress told Harris. "In cancel culture, disturbing the peace is probably an act of treason."

Making the case that speaking up is important even when you're criticized for your opinions, she shared a poignant message about censorship: "The thing is the quieter you get, the more fearful you get, the more dangerous anything is. We're giving it power by shutting the f**k up completely."

Addresses Ageism In Hollywood

Madonna also addressed ageism in Hollywood, reassuring fans that she has no plans to hang up the microphone.

"I don't ever think about the limitations of time and when I should be stopping," said the megastar, revealing she never thinks about her age.

"I only think about it when extremely ignorant people say to me, 'Don't you think you've earned the right to just sit back and enjoy all of your success and all things that you've achieved and retire?' Her V Magazine spread, which came out on November 1, sees Madonna being unapologetically herself as she channels Monroe's last photoshoot with Stern just six weeks before her untimely death at age 36.

Bearing the creative mark of photographer Steven Klein, the heavily retouched photos show Madonna posing in similar positions to the iconic blond bombshell as she rocks blonde ringlets and lies on a hotel bed next to prescription pills.

However, the tribute shoot -- which was meant as "the ultimate homage to silver screen siren #MarilynMonroe and her incomparable work with American photographer #BertStern," per the magazine's Instagram -- has been deemed "gross and inappropriate" by some members of the public, including NBCUniversal senior executive Mike Sington.

"For some morbid and eerie reason, Madonna decides to re-create Marilyn Monroe's death bed," he said on Twitter.

Clapping Back At Critics

Proving yet again that she's not afraid to speak her mind, Madonna took to social media to address the matter. In an Instagram post on November 2, given below, the singer and actress defended the shoot as "a short film about the intimate relationship between a photographer and his muse."

"Im [sic] Paying homage to her incandescent fragility that I saw in this shoot [The Last Sitting]," she wrote, clapping back at critics: "I'm celebrating the life of this great artist. If you are too stupid to recognize [it] — i cant [sic] help You!"

Likewise, Klein felt the need to include a personal message in the photo essay, clarifying that his aim as a photographer was "to capture the liaison between a star and the camera, the mystery, and magic of this creative collaboration."

Seth Curry Continues To Prove He's Not Just 'The Younger Brother'

When people hear the last name "Curry", chances are they think of Stephen Curry or his father Dell Curry before the lesser-known Seth Curry, currently playing for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Being the son of an NBA player and the younger brother of the greatest shooter of all time may sound great, but it may not be ideal when you're trying to pave a way for yourself in the league and haven't found the same success the rest of your family members did.

Seth Curry Keeping Sixers Alive

But that hasn't kept Seth from putting up the work everywhere he goes, and he's becoming a major asset for the Sixers.

He proved it again by knocking down a game-high 23 points to lead them past the Portland Trail Blazers on a night they were down 3 starters:

"I was picking my spots," Curry said, as quoted by The Reporter "And everybody did a good job sharing the basketball."

"I just try to stay aggressive and attack when I have the opportunities," he added. "I try not to put too much pressure on myself, only to go out there and play the same way."

Seth Is Making A Name For Himself

That aggressiveness has come with an efficiency that not many players can brag about.

Right now, the guard is shooting 60.6% from the floor and 54.1% from the three-point range. And, albeit those numbers are unsustainable, the Currys are known for their incredible sharpshooting skills.

Even so, Seth often shakes off the comparisons with his brother Steph, as he did after getting hot against the Oklahoma City Thunder a couple of nights ago:

"I was getting good shots. It wasn't like I was 18 dribbles, half-court, 40-footers," he said, as per ClutchPoints. "It wasn't like I was like on a Steph-type streak. I was finding good shots."

Philly Needs As Much Help As They Can Get

Curry's shooting has been a breath of fresh air for the Sixers this season and he may need to take an even bigger role going forward.

Starting SF Tobias Harris will be out several games due to COVID-19 protocols, Danny Green is also sidelined with a hamstring injury, and Ben Simmons' availability is still up in the air.

So, with at least three-fifths of last year's starting lineup, Doc Rivers will have to rely on his best shooter to try and keep up with the rest of the East.

What's Next For Ben Simmons?

Even so, the biggest story for the Sixers this season is the Ben Simmons situation.

Simmons threatened to sit out the season in an attempt to force a trade but GM Daryl Morey didn't cave into his demands.

The former first-overall pick alleged not being mentally prepared to play at the moment, only sinking his trade value even further.

He's now expected to partake in team activities at some point in the season but whether he'll finish the year at the City of Brotherly Love is yet to be seen.

The latest sees Erika getting slammed as she's accused of being "tone deaf" - that's what sharing songs about money amid a fraud scandal will do. The star took to social media at the end of November to quote Lil Kim's lyrics as she wrote: "Dressed in all black like The Omen..."

Fans destroyed her in the comments, this as Tom was accused of stealing millions from his clients - Erika claims she was unaware of her ex-'s actions. That said, $20 million was transferred from Tom's law firm to Erika's business LLC.

Celtics' Marcus Smart On Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown: 'They Don't Want To Pass The Ball'

The Boston Celtics suffered one of the most embarrassing losses in recent memory.

They led by as many as 19 points over the Chicago Bulls late in the third quarter. Then, a full fourth-quarter meltdown translated into a 14-point home loss.

To make things even worst, veteran guard Marcus Smart didn't hold back and put the blame on Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown:

"Every team knows we're trying to go to Jayson and Jaylen," the guard said. "Every team is programmed and studied to stop Jayson and Jaylen. I think everybody's scouting report is to make those guys pass the ball. They don't want to pass the ball. That's something that they're going to learn. They're still learning."

Smart Blames Brown And Tatum

"We're proud of the progress they're making, but they're going to have to make another step and find ways to not only create for themselves but create for others on this team to open up the court for them later down in the game where they're always going to have to take those tough shots or take tough matchups when they do get the 1-on-1 or they bring the trap. It's something we've been asking them to do and they're learning. We just gotta continue to help those guys do that (...) There's only so much I can do when the ball isn't in my hands and I'm standing in the corner," Smart added.

Celtics' Chemistry Issues

These chemistry issues aren't a new thing for the Celtics. This team has been dysfunctional for quite some time now, and the word has spread around the league.

In fact, Brooklyn Nets forward Blake Griffin avoided signing with them as an inside source told him that their locker room wasn't in a good place:

"According to a source, Brooklyn's Blake Griffin asked a Celtics player if he should join the team midseason and was told not to come to Boston because of the apparent dysfunction," reported Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

Tough Start For Ime Udoka

The Celtics made a couple of huge moves in the front office during the offseason. Danny Ainge stepped down and promoted Brad Stevens to be in charge of the basketball operations.

They brought in Ime Udoka as a breath of fresh air, as Stevens' coaching style wasn't getting the job done with this young core.

But thus far, the Celtics have failed to buy into Udoka's philosophy and stay competitive for a full game. Right now, they're sitting at a 2-5 record with one of those wins coming against the 1-6 Houston Rockets.

Boston Could Make Some Moves

That's why plenty of people expect Brad Stevens to work around the clock and make some moves before the trade deadline.

Stevens didn't waste a second in his new role and proved to have an aggressive approach by trading away Kemba Walker to bring Al Horford back.

Tom Brady Reveals Biggest Change He's Made Since Joining Bucs

Even if he's not your favorite person or player, no one can deny that Tom Brady has the greatest résumé in the history of the NFL.

You may not be a fan of his style, you may hate him because he always beats your team, or you may even call him a cheater. But facts are facts.

So, if you were to look for areas of improvement on his game at this point in his career, chances are that you won't find many.

Tom Brady: The Ice King

For 2 decades, Brady thrived in Foxborough. He dominated in epic games in the blistering cold and with pretty inclement weather.

Most of us may remember the infamous "Tuck Rule Game" against the Oakland (now Las Vegas) Raiders, in which Charles Woodson had a chance to end the Pats' season with a forced fumble.

Instead, a now-changed rule allowed the Patriots to keep that series alive. Eventually, Brady and Bill Belichick would go on to win Super Bowl XXXVI and the rest is history.

Softer In Tampa

But, apparently, the Buccaneers quarterback doesn't want to play in cold weather anymore. If anything, he believes he's gotten softer and is now a warm-weather guy:

"I always considered myself a cold-weather quarterback, but being in here now, down in South [Florida], I'm a warm-weather quarterback," Brady jokingly told the Manning brothers. "I mean, screw that, I never want to deal with that ever again. We play Washington after — so we play the Saints next week, and then we have a bye, then we have Washington. I'm already checking the weather forecast in Washington in November. So, it tells you how much I've softened up in my very short period of time down here in South Florida.

Keeps Breaking Records

But even if he thinks he's getting softer with time, he seems to be aging like a fine wine every time he's on the gridiron.

Brady recently became the first player to ever throw 600 touchdown passes and keeps adding to that record as the weeks go by.

Moreover, he recently passed Drew Brees for the most games with at least 4 touchdown passes (48), according to the Buccaneers' PR. Sadly, it came during a tough loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Bucs' Road To Another Super Bowl

The Bucs will now look to bounce back from that loss and focus on their path to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

They will take that 6-2 record to their BYE week before meeting the Washington Football Team, New York Giants, Indianapolis Colts, and Atlanta Falcons in their easiest stretch of the season.

Bruce Arians' team should have no problem clinching that division but they must be wary of the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers, their two biggest threats on the NFC.
