No more cryptic messages. Britney Spears slammed her mother outright, blaming Lynne Spears for her conservatorship.

Britney Spears' Ups and Downs With Dad Jamie Over the Years

“The most dangerous animal in the world is a silent smiling woman,” reads an image Britney, 39, shared via Instagram on Tuesday, November 2.

The “Toxic” singer discussed how she’s been happy a lot recently in the caption, but it’s the postscript message that slams her family and revealed that she doesn’t only place blame with her father, Jamie Spears, for her adult guardianship.

“Pssss my dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don't know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea !!!! I will never get those years back …. she secretly ruined my life,” Britney alleged.

The Louisiana-raised performer called out Lynne, 66, in the post as well as Lou Taylor. The Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group CEO, 56, was Britney’s former business manager. She no longer works with the family.

“And yes I will call her and Lou Taylor out on it,” Britney added in her caption. “So take your whole ‘I have NO IDEA what's going on’ attitude and go f–k yourself !!!! You know exactly what you did.”

The Grammy winner took issue with the portrayal of her father, 69, as the orchestrator of her conservatorship. While Jamie ultimately had legal control of his daughter, Britney claimed he was “not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship” without Lynne and Taylor.

Britney concluded on an optimistic note, writing, “But tonight I will smile knowing I have a new life ahead of me !!!!”

The popstar first entered the conservatorship in 2008. The legal situation was brought back into the spotlight after The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears debuted on Hulu in February. The public scrutiny of the guardianship intensified after the Crossroads star’s first public testimony, where she revealed she was never told she could end the conservatorship.

The legal proceedings have sped up since her June court hearing and the arrival of her new attorney, Mathew Rosengart. In September, a judge approved the "Womanizer" singer’s petition to remove her father from his 13-year position as conservator of her estate.

Britney Spears' Inner Circle Makes a Case for Her Conservatorship to End

"Mr. Spears loves his daughter Britney unconditionally. For 13 years, he has tried to do what is in her best interests, whether as a conservator or her father. This started with agreeing to serve as her conservator when she voluntarily entered into the conservatorship," a statement from Jamie's attorney read at the time. "This included helping her revive her career and re-establish a relationship with her children. For anyone who has tried to help a family member dealing with mental health issues, they can appreciate the tremendous amount of daily worry and work this required."

The issue of whether the conservatorship should be terminated completely has yet to be decided.

Everything We Know About Tori Spelling and Dean’s Marriage Status Amid Drama

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 05:30 PM PDT

Weathering the storm? Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are "not in a healthy place" amid divorce rumors, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.

"It’s gotten really bad and those close to them feel it won’t last much longer," the insider says, noting the duo "can't stand to be around each other" at this point. "There’s a lot of tension built up."

While the marriage appears to be on the rocks, the source explains that both stars are "still in it for the kids." The insider notes that the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum doesn't plan to divorce McDermott "right now because of the kids."

The Troop Beverly Hills actress and the Pretty Hard Cases star wed in May 2006. They have since welcomed five children: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn and Beau.

"No matter what [happens], their kids will come first and always be their number one priority," the source adds.

Over the years, the spouses have had many ups and downs, including infidelity on McDermott's part and financial woes.

In February 2019, the actress exclusively told Us that they "don't have relationship problems" after overcoming McDermott's cheating scandal five years prior.

"We communicate now, I have a voice," Spelling explained at the time. "He probably hears too much of it but he [is so] good at listening. Women like to talk and over-explain."

However, during the summer of 2021, the twosome sparked split speculation after Spelling was spotted without her wedding ring. McDermott, for his part, was also seen without his wedding band around the same time.

While the couple denied they are breaking up, fans have noticed a few red flags that make it seem as though their marriage isn't in a good place. For starters, Spelling revealed in June that she and McDermott were sleeping in separate beds.

Four months later, the actress was spotted at an attorney's office holding documents that appeared to be about child support and custody of their five kids.

The pair have since managed to dodge questions about their relationship status, but a source exclusively told Us earlier this month that the BH90210 actress and the Slasher star "have fought a lot" over the years, but recently had a "really serious" argument.

"She's tried counseling with him," the insider said in October, noting that Spelling "feels trapped" in the marriage partly because of their money trouble. "It's always been an issue," the source added.

Scroll down to see where Spelling and McDermott stand in their marriage amid all their recent ups and downs:

Sleeping in Separate Rooms
“Right now, my kids and dogs sleep in my bed,” Spelling told Jeff Lewis in June, adding that McDermott was sleeping in a separate area at their house after returning home from filming a project overseas. “Since he left — this is not good, you guys — but since he left [and] he was gone for six months filming in another country, they all stayed with me,” she continued. “So I currently still have four in the bedroom with me who have yet to go back to their rooms, yes.” Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock
Major Issues
“Tori and Dean have been having major issues for over a year now,” a source exclusively told Us in June. “The fact that she’s talking about sleeping in separate beds is very telling, she wouldn’t do that unless things were really not great between them. Tori knows her kids see what she says online, so for her to say something publicly means the end could be very near.” Shutterstock (2)
Dean Gushes Over Tori
After Spelling announced in August that she was cohosting E! News’ Daily Pop for two shows, McDermott sang his wife’s praises. “You look amazing!!! So proud of you!!” he commented on her Instagram post. Stewart Cook/Fox/Picturegroup/Shutterstock
Keeping It Cryptic
The “90210MG” podcast cohost sidestepped questions about her marriage status in September after being spotted with McDermott over Labor Day for the first time in months. “We’ve been going to the Malibu Chill Cookoff since Liam was 1 year old. He’s 14. So it’s a tradition,” Spelling told Lewis at the time, choosing not to answer his question about divorce rumors. “The family does it together every year.” London Entertainment/Shutterstock; twoeyephotos/MEGA
Dean Slams Divorce Rumors
McDermott explained in September why both he and Spelling were seen without their wedding rings earlier in the year, saying his wife simply forgot to put hers back on after washing her hands. He revealed during an appearance on the “Feminine Warrior” podcast that he was recently spotted with no ring on his left hand after losing the band during a game of golf. “I lost my utility ring and then somebody saw that [and said], ‘He doesn’t have his ring,’” the Open Range actor recalled. “So, now, everybody’s in a titter, so I’m like, ‘Forget it, I’m not going to replace it. Just let them think it.'” McDermott further commented on rumors that the twosome had separated saying, “It’s just weird that people need to know. ‘What’s going on with Tori and Dean? She’s not wearing her ring.’ Why do you need to know that? How is that going to affect your day?” Broadimage/Shutterstock
Divorce Docs?
Spelling was spotted outside an attorney’s office in October holding documents that read “assets,” “support” and “custody,” fueling divorce rumors once again. A source told Us at the time that the actress and her husband are “always on the verge of divorce.” The California native “has been close to leaving many times, but she ends up staying for the kids’ sake,” according to the insider. Broadimage/Shutterstock
Disneyland Day
Days later, the spouses were spotted at Disneyland with their children amid their alleged drama. A source later told Us that Spelling “sucked it up” and went to the theme park in October because the kids “have no idea what’s going on.” Broadimage/Shutterstock
Not Talking
During an October appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, Spelling dodged a question about her marital status. “What? You know I’m not going to answer that,” she told guest host Whitney Cummings. “Awesome, so what are you going to ask me next?” The Wendy Williams Show
Dead Bride?
The Scary Movie 2 actress dressed up as a dead and bloodied bride for Halloween in October, causing some fans to think she was making a statement about her own relationship. Although Spelling stepped out for a holiday party on October 29, she also spent “a little” time with McDermott over the weekend, a source told Us at the time. “She did have a mommy's night out with friends,” the insider said, noting it was “nice” for Spelling to “get out of the house and just have fun.” Diggzy/Shutterstock
Never Look Back
The sTORI Telling author shared a cryptic message over Halloween weekend, captioning a photo of her dead bride look, “Never look back.” Eagle-eyed fans noticed the post, which seemingly hinted at her current relationship woes. KCR/Shutterstock

Alec Baldwin and Wife Hilaria's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 05:29 PM PDT

More than a decade of romance. Alec Baldwin first met wife Hilaria Baldwin (née Thomas) in 2011, and she’s been by his side ever since.

The two met by chance at a New York City restaurant in February of that year.

“I wandered into Pure Food and Wine on Irving Place, on an unseasonably warm February evening,” the Saturday Night Live performer recalled via Instagram eight years after they first met. “My friend, [Brendan O’Connell] and I sat down (outside!) and as I turned to my left I saw a woman who would change my life. Entirely. 8 years today. Thanks for all you’ve given me. You are a gift.”

In a joint interview the following year, they revealed that the 30 Rock alum approached the yoga instructor and didn’t ask for her number. Instead, he gave her his card and told her to call him.

"I was standing near the door with my friends when he walked up and took my hand and said, 'I must know you,'" Hilaria told The New York Times in July 2012. After his future wife mustered up the courage to call him, she got his voicemail. They went on a date a few days later — and it didn’t take long for sparks to fly. The two were officially dating by spring and moved in together within a few months.

Their 26-year age difference (his was born in 1958 while she was born in 1984) was a big concern for the “Mom Brain” podcast host initially, but the filmmaker noticed her maturity right away — especially when she made it perfectly clear what she wanted from a relationship.

"While she was in no hurry, she was very mature and clear about what she wanted — to be married someday,” he recalled.

Alec was previously married to Kim Basinger for nearly 20 years until they divorced in 2002. In 1995, the pair welcomed daughter Ireland Baldwin.

Hilaria, who shares six children with her husband, opened up about being a stepmother to Alec’s eldest daughter in April 2019.

"Sometimes my language about my biological children does not include her. Because I did not birth her and I never want to disrespect the fact that she has a wonderful mother," the fitness guru shared via Instagram amid criticism that she didn’t speak much about Ireland. "But this will never take away from how much I love her, need her in my life, and think that she is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Please don't look for trouble where there is none."

A viral twitter thread about Hilaria put her at the center of controversy, during which she was accused of faking her Spanish accent and heritage. She said that she and Alec help their kids “celebrate both cultures” and “are raising our children bilingual, just as I was raised. The Boston native traveled to Spain many times throughout her life, and her family moved to Mallorca in 2011. The Hollywood star defended his wife, sharing in an Instagram video at the time, "There's things that have been said lately about people that I love, that I care about deeply, which are ridiculous. I mean, just ridiculous." MediaPunch/Shutterstock

After a month-long hiatus from Instagram, Hilaria released an apology. "I've spent the last month listening, reflecting, and asking myself how I can learn and grow," the podcaster wrote in a caption at the time. "My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a true sense of belonging to both. The way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained – I should have been more clear and I’m sorry. The couple went to Vermont in the aftermath of the Rust shooting. “I brought [Alec] up here because we have to mourn Halyna’s death. Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD,” she told the New York Post at the time. “He needs space for me to take care of him and his mental health. Alec Baldwin Reposts ‘Rust’ Worker’s Statement Refuting ‘Bulls—t’ Set Claims

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 05:20 PM PDT

While filming his movie Rust on Thursday, October 21, Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that injured the director and killed another crew member.

The incident occurred at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico. According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department, the weapon was “discharged” by the 30 Rock alum, 63, and Deadline later reported that production on the Western was paused.

“Mr. Baldwin came in voluntarily to speak with investigators,” sheriff’s office spokesman Juan Ríos noted in a statement, asserting that the situation would be treated like “any other investigation.”

Detectives were trying to determine “what type of projectile was discharged” as the set remained on lockdown. The victims — director Joel Souza and director of photography Halyna Hutchins — were rushed to receive medical attention after being struck. Hutchins, 42, was pronounced dead at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.

The 48-year-old filmmaker, for his part, was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center via helicopter. While his condition was initially unknown, Deadline was told by Souza’s rep that he was released from the hospital on Friday, October 22.

The movie’s production company, Rust Movie Productions LLC, noted in a statement regarding the accident, “The entire cast and crew has been absolutely devastated by today’s tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Halyna’s family and loved ones. We have halted production on the film for an undetermined period of time and are fully cooperating with the Santa Fe Police Department’s investigation. We will be providing counseling services to everyone connected to the film as we work to process this awful event.”

Hutchins was originally from the Ukraine and had been sharing updates about the filming process with her Instagram followers ahead of her death. “One of the perks of shooting a western is you get to ride horses on your day off:),” she captioned a video of herself on Wednesday, October 20, as she joined a group on horseback.

The Emmy winner broke his silence on Hutchins’ death on Friday via Twitter, writing, “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

Before Baldwin addressed the incident, tributes poured in for the late cinematographer.

“I’m in shock. I was so lucky to have had Halyna Hutchins as my DP on ‘Archenemy,'” Joe Manganiello tweeted. “An incredible talent & great person. I can't believe this could happen in this day and age… gunfire from a prop gun could kill a crew member? What a horrible tragedy. My heart goes out to her family.”

Ava DuVernay left a comment on casting director Sidra Smith‘s Instagram post about Hutchins, writing, “Devastating. Absolutely horrific. Blessings to you during this difficult time, Sidra. And may her soul be at rest.”

Who Is Halyna Hutchins?
Hutchins was working as director of photography on Rust and was named one of American Cinematography's "rising stars" in the profession in 2019. She previously contributed to 2019's Darlin' and 2020's Blindfire, as well as AMC's The Walking Dead. She was pronounced dead on Thursday at University of New Mexico Hospital. Who Is Joel Souza?
Souza is a California-based writer and director whose previous credits include 2015's Ghost Squad, 2017's Break Night and 2019's Crown Vic. According to Deadline, he was released from the hospital early Friday morning after sustaining injuries on set. Ron Adar/SOPA Images/Shutterstock
How Did Two People Get Shot?
Only one round was discharged, and it grazed Souza but hit Hutchins in her shoulder, per The Los Angeles Times. Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Why Was the Gun Loaded?
That is the question investigators are still trying to answer. The assistant director called out “cold gun” when handing Baldwin the weapon, the AD wrote in an affidavit, according to the New York Times. “Cold” means no ammunition is in the gun. The crew member “did not know live rounds were in the prop gun,” Detective Joel Cano declared in an affidavit. Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock
Why Did Crew Members Walk Off Set Earlier That Day?
The LA Times reports that several crew members walked off set to protest working conditions hours ahead of the fatal accident. They accused the production of not properly following safety protocols, including gun inspections. The workers claimed that there were two accidental gun discharges on set before, with Baldwin’s stunt double allegedly firing a gun that was announced as “cold” only to find a live round in it. “There should have been an investigation into what happened,” a crew member alleged to the LA Times. “There were no safety meetings. There was no assurance that it wouldn’t happen again. All they wanted to do was rush, rush, rush.” Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
How Are Other Sets Reacting?
Many film and TV sets are taking action and vowing not to risk having “hot” or “live” — meaning loaded — weapons on set. ABC’s police drama The Rookie has officially banned live rounds. “As of today, it is now policy on The Rookie that all gunfire on set will be with Air Soft guns with CG muzzle flashes added in post,” showrunner Alexi Hawley wrote in a memo obtained by The Hollywood Reporter on Friday, October 22. “There will be no more ‘live’ weapons on the show. The safety of our cast and crew is too important.” Amazon Prime’s The Boys, which is known for its violent action sequences, will also forgo live rounds. Showrunner Eric Kripke, who worked with Rust cast member Jensen Ackles on Supernatural and The Boys, announced the news on Friday via Twitter. “In [Hutchins’] memory, a simple, easy pledge: no more guns with blanks on any of my sets ever. We'll use VFX muzzle flashes. Who's with me?” he wrote. Eric McCandless/ABC/Kobal/Shutterstock
Has It Happened Before?
This is not the first time a prop gun has led to fatalities on a film set. In 1993, the late Brandon Lee was killed during filming for The Crow after an improperly loaded prop gun was fired. His sister, Shannon Lee, reacted to the Rust incident on Thursday. "Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on 'Rust,'" she tweeted via a memorial account set up for her brother. "No one should ever be killed by a gun on a film set. Period." Pressman/Most/Kobal/Shutterstock
Joel Souza Reacts
"I am gutted by the loss of my friend and colleague, Halyna," Souza said in a statement. "She was kind, vibrant, incredibly talented, fought for every inch and always pushed me to be better. My thoughts are with her family at this most difficult time. I am humbled and grateful by the outpouring of affection we have received from our filmmaking community, the people of Santa Fe, and the hundreds of strangers who have reached out. It will surely aid in my recovery." Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Were There Consequences?
According to Deadline, assistant director David Halls, who handed Baldwin a prop gun moments before it was discharged, was "removed from set immediately" after the accident. Producers told the outlet that an incident report was filed and a new assistant director was brought in. Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
The 'Last Photo' of Halyna Hutchins
On October 22, a Rust crewmember named Serge Svetnoy shared a photo of Hutchins that he claimed was taken shortly before the fatal shooting. “This is the last photo with Halyna on set,” he wrote via Facebook. The snapshot showed the cinematographer shooting a scene with Baldwin in a small church on the New Mexico set. Two days later, Svetnoy shared an emotional post in which he revealed that he “was holding [Hutchins] in my arms while she was dying. Her blood was on my hands,” he wrote via Facebook on October 24. In that same message, the electrician stated that, in his opinion, Hutchins’ death was “the fault of negligence and unprofessionalism.” Courtesy of Halyna Hutchins/Instagram
Evidence Recovered
Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed during a press conference on October 27 that a lead bullet was recovered from Souza’s shoulder after he was taken to the hospital. The bullet is believed to be the one that fatally struck Hutchins.  Police also collected approximately 600 items of evidence, including 500 rounds of ammunition from the set, which were a mixture of “blanks, dummy rounds and what we are suspecting were live rounds,” according to Mendoza. More Information on Crew Member Who Handled Firearms
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was the armorer — or person in charge of firearms — on the set of Rust. During a September episode of the “Voices of West” podcast, the former model admitted “the best part” of her job was “just showing people who are normally kind of freaked out by guns how safe they can be and how they’re not really problematic unless put in the wrong hands.” Reed is the daughter of longtime armorer Thell Reed, who was Brad Pitt’s shooting coach on the 2007 film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. However, the 24-year-old had only worked on one movie before landing the role of head armorer on Baldwin's western. The Hollywood rookie noted she had “figured” out most of the job's requirements on “my own” and said that “loading blanks” is the “scariest thing to me.” Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock
The Armorer Says She ‘Has No Idea’ Why Live Rounds Were in the Gun
Gutierrez-Reed's lawyers, Jason Bowles and Robert Gorence, released a statement to Us on October 29. "First Hannah would like to extend her deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Halyna," the statement read, referring to Hutchins as "an inspirational woman in film who Hannah looked up to." The statement went on to allege that she had been "slandered" in the aftermath of the shooting. "Safety is Hannah’s number one priority on set. Ultimately this set would never have been compromised if live ammo were not introduced," the lawyers claimed on her behalf. "Hannah has no idea where the live rounds came from. Hannah and the prop master gained control over the guns and she never witnessed anyone shoot live rounds with these guns and nor would she permit that. They were locked up every night and at lunch and there’s no way a single one of them was unaccounted for or being shot by crew members. Hannah still, to this day, has never had an accidental discharge." Though there have been reports that there were two accidental discharges in other situations on set, Gutierrez-Reed's lawyers allege that others were at fault. "The first one on this set was the prop master and the second was a stunt man after Hannah informed him his gun was hot with blanks," they alleged. Myung J Chun/Los Angeles Times/Shutterstock
The Armorer Wanted More Time to Prepare
Gutierrez-Reed's lawyers suggested that the blame for the fatal accident lay with other filmmakers. "Hannah was hired on two positions on this film, which made it extremely difficult to focus on her job as an armorer," they said in the October 29 statement. "She fought for training, days to maintain weapons, and proper time to prepare for gunfire but ultimately was overruled by production and her department. The whole production set became unsafe due to various factors, including lack of safety meetings. This was not the fault of Hannah." Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Baldwin Says Hutchins Was a Friend
While in Vermont on October 30, Baldwin told news outlets that he couldn't say much about the incident, but he is cooperating with authorities and mourning the death of Hutchins. "I’ve been ordered by the sheriff’s department in Santa Fe, I can’t answer any questions about the investigation," Baldwin said. "I can’t — it’s an active investigation in terms of a woman died. She was my friend.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Baldwin Is Talking to Hutchins’ Family
The actor, who also produced the film, explained that he met with Hutchins' husband as well as her son to offer support. "The guy is overwhelmed with grief," Baldwin said on October 30. "There are incidental accidents on film sets from time to time but nothing like this. This is a one in a trillion event, and so he is in shock [and] has a 9-year-old son. We are in constant contact with him. We’re very worried about his family and his kid, and we’re eagerly awaiting for the sheriff’s department telling us what their investigation has yielded.” Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Assistant Director Breaks His Silence
Dave Halls, the assistant director on Rust, released a statement in which he praised his “friend” Hutchins. “I’m shocked and saddened by her death,” he said. “It’s my hope that this tragedy prompts the industry to reevaluate its values and practices to ensure no one is harmed through the creative process again.” He continued, “My thoughts are with all who knew and loved Halyna.” Halls did not address the details of the incident or the reports that he was the one who handed Baldwin the gun involved in the shooting. Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock
Correcting the Narrative?
Baldwin reposted a thread from Terese Magpale Davis, who worked on Rust as a costume designer, outlining what they allege really happened on set. Davis’ post, which the actor shared via his Instagram account on November 2, claimed “the story being spun of us being overworked and surrounded by unsafe, chaotic conditions is bulls—t.” Davis stated that she “never worked more than a 12.5-hour shoot day,” saying that only happened once and “most days” were under the 12-hour mark. She recalled the day that Hutchins died, saying, “We had come off a 12-hour turnaround after an 11-hour shoot day,” noting they had a “56-hour weekend right before” the prolonged day. “No one was too tired to do their jobs,” she said. She refuted claims that the producers on the film didn’t care about their crew, writing, “They were some of the most approachable and warm producers I’ve ever worked with.” Davis explained that “concerns were heard and addressed” by the producers. According to her, the crew had a union rep who told production “not to give in to the camera crew” demands because they were asking for things that “the union does not require.” Davis alleged that she has spoken with the producers on the project since the accident, and they told her they have chosen not to defend themselves against the “blatantly false accusations” because they want the “focus to be on Halyna” and they want to “grieve and recover.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock

Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 04:03 PM PDT

The perfect match! After a number of notable romances over the years, Kristen Stewart found The One in Dylan Meyer.

The actress started dating her Twilight costar Robert Pattinson in 2009. Three years later, the Adventureland star had an affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Stewart and Pattinson briefly rekindled their romance in 2013 before officially calling it quits that same year.

Stewart was later linked to model Stella Maxwell, who she dated on and off from 2016 until 2019. In August 2019, the Spencer star sparked romance rumors when she was spotted with Meyer, who she had initially met on the set of a project years prior.

The twosome have kept their relationship relatively under wraps, but three months after their first public outing, the Happiest Season star revealed that she “can’t f–king wait” to get engaged, describing the instant spark she felt when she reconnected with the writer.

"I've known her for, like, six years, but we only started seeing each other [romantically]. Two weeks in, it was literally, like, the day that I met her, all bets were off," the California native explained on The Howard Stern Show in November 2019. "I met her years ago on a movie. I hadn't seen her in, like, two years and she had just walked up to a friend's birthday party and I was just, like, 'Where have you been and how have I not known you?'"

The Panic Room star also shared how the pair were "both scumbags" who "felt like trolls as kids," and were "so similar but different" in several ways. Stewart said she and her "brilliant” partner, who she wanted to make "movies and kids" with, dropped the l-bomb after just two weeks together.

“It was, like, really late and we were in some s–ty bar,” she noted. “And her friends were there or whatever, and they, like, walked out and I was just like, ‘Oh man, I'm so f–king in love with you.’ Done.”

Two years later, the Still Alice star confirmed Meyer had proposed, telling Howard Stern in November 2021, “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it.”

Success! Meghan King and Husband Cuffe ‘Survived’ First Family Halloween

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 03:24 PM PDT

When you know, you know! Meghan King and Cuffe Owens went from zero to 60 with their relationship after meeting on a dating app in September 2021.

"Within a week, we were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and starting to plan our future together," King told Brides in October 2021 of the couple's beginnings. "We didn't leave each other's side for weeks."

Us Weekly later confirmed that the Real Housewives of Orange County alum met Owens less than one month before the couple walked down the aisle in October 2021. Their whirlwind romance came as a surprise to some because King made her relationship with the attorney Instagram official just a few weeks earlier.

"Her family is a bit shocked that she tied the knot so quickly," a source exclusively told Us after the duo's nuptials, which were attended by Owens' uncle President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden.

King's three children, daughter Aspen and twin sons Hart and Hayes, whom she shares ex-husband Jim Edmonds, were also at the intimate ceremony.

"Our wedding was about two things for us," the "Intimate Knowledge" podcast host told Brides of her and Owens' big day. "Our love for and commitment to each other, and our family — each of our families, and the new very large and very tight family that we were bonding together by getting married. That's it."

The wedding, which took place at Owens' parents' home in Pennsylvania, is the TV personality's third wedding. She was previously married to college sweetheart Brad McDill from 2007 to 2011 before getting hitched a second time to Edmonds in October 2014. The pair called it quits in October 2019, finalizing their divorce in May 2021.

King revealed via Instagram in October 2021 that she and Owens "just knew" they were meant to be.

"Our vision was of an intimate and simple gathering — no major frills, no overthinking, no drama,” she told the magazine of their small event. "We both knew exactly what we were going to do, where we were going to do it, and how we were going to do it. It's a beautiful thing to see eye-to-eye with each other as we do.”

Keeping it civil. Following Kourtney Kardashian's engagement to Travis Barker, Scott Disick is making contact with his ex-girlfriend publicly — and it is all about the kids.

Kardashian, 42, took to social media to share a photo of daughter Penelope, 9, channeling her inner Cher Horowitz on Tuesday, November 2. Disick, 38, replied to the post, writing, “O Cher, don't forget she can't keep driving her jeep without her drivers License.”

Disick, who also shares Mason, 11, and Reign, 6, with the reality star, has been mostly keeping a low profile on social media after Kardashian's engagement announcement with Barker, 45.

Last month, the drummer proposed to the Poosh founder at the Rosewood Miramar Beach Hotel in Santa Barbara, California, less than one year since they went public with their relationship.

Following the exciting news, a source told Us Weekly that Barker and Kardashian were looking forward to expanding their family. The musician shares son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 15, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

"They will have a baby together without any doubt. It's just a matter of when and how," the insider told Us.

At the time, another source revealed that Disick’s relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner brood has taken a turn since Barker joined the picture.

“The Kardashians adore Scott and tell him he’s part of the family no matter what, but he feels very distant and feels like an outcast more than ever,” a separate insider noted to Us. “He avoids family get-togethers that Travis is at, and he has refused to be in the same room with him at times.”

Although the Flip It Like Disick alum previously said that he supported the Keeping Up With the Kardashian‘s alum’s new romance, Younes Bendjima called that into question when he leaked messages from the Talentless cofounder.

"Yo is this chick ok!????? Brooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy," Disick allegedly wrote to the model, 28, alongside a photo of Kardashian and Barker kissing in August. In the screenshots, Bendjima replied, writing, "Don't matter to me as long as she's happy. PS: i aint your bro."

After the DMs made headlines, a third source explained to Us that Disick and Kardashian’s relationship was now “more strained than ever.”

"[Scott’s] worried that she's going to try to put a wedge between him and the kids," the insider shared.

Days after the DM drama, Us confirmed that the New York native called it quits with his then-girlfriend, Amelia Gray Hamlin, after nearly one year of dating.

Fans were shocked when Sister WivesChristine Brown and Kody Brown announced their split via Instagram on Tuesday, November 2, after more than 25 years together. However, those close to them were not surprised.

“It’s no shock. She’s been in the process of leaving him for a while. The big reason why she split from him is because Kody has been completed devoted to Robyn [Brown] for the past five or six years. That hasn’t changed at all,” an insider exclusively tells Us Weekly.

Kody, 52, tied the knot for the first time to Meri Brown in 1990. He married his second wife, Janelle Brown, in January 1993, and third wife, Christine, now 49, in 1994. His fourth wife, Robyn, was welcomed into the family in May 2010. In order to legally adopt Robyn’s three children, he had to divorce Meri, 50, but the pair have remained in a spiritual union.

Robyn, who is the mother of Solomon, 10, Aurora, 19, and David, 21, was the first new wife to enter the family in 16 years — and “his world completely stopped” when she entered the picture, the source adds.

“He was devoted to being polygamous so he kept that going for as long as he could,” the insider continues. “He serves God and believes being polygamous is his way to heaven, so it’s not necessarily about having to be in love with all your wives. It’s about who else is as devoted as he is.”

While the now exes, who share Asypen, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11, “do not get along,” it hasn’t been an easy situation for anyone.

“[Christine’s] really hurting. She really loved Kody. She gave him her all in hope that he would love her,” the source tells Us, adding that the coronavirus pandemic played a big part in the split. “Kody has not been around at all. He used COVID-19 as a big excuse to not be around family. It’s been his ticket to freedom essentially. This destroyed Christine because she really tried to give her all to the marriage.”

Christine is “ready to have a new life,” which was previewed during season 15 of Sister Wives. During the finale, she told the group she wanted to move to Utah. In documents obtained by Us, she sold her Arizona property in October and moved to a duplex in Utah.

Kody, for his part, also addressed the split. “Christine's decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her," he wrote via Instagram on Tuesday. "Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents."

Far From a Flop! Christina Haack and Joshua Hall’s Relationship Timeline

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 02:38 PM PDT

Far from a flop! Christina Haack and Joshua Hall's sweet love story has captivated fans since they first announced their relationship in July 2021.

Following her divorce from Ant Anstead, the Christina on the Coast star was spotted with a handsome stranger who Us Weekly subsequently confirmed was Hall. Soon after, Haack opened up about her new relationship in a lengthy Instagram post, noting she wanted to "protect" her new beau from all the hard parts of life in the spotlight.

"I met Josh when I wasn't in a state of fear or fight-or-flight. … The synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore," she wrote on July 8, 2021. "I felt immediately crazy protective over him and wanted to keep him for myself and get to know each other before the tornado (media attention) hit."

The HGTV star then detailed how her relationship had progressed since the pair officially got together. According to a source, they'd first met years earlier during a real estate conference.

"We've had a few solid months of just us getting to know each other and I've loved every second of it," Haack wrote.

The Wellness Remodel author also slammed critics who said the relationship came along too soon.

"Yes 'another relationship' and guess what. I'm 38 — I'll do what I want," she added. "The synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore."

Before her marriage to Anstead, Haack was married to her Flip or Flop costar Tarek El Moussa. The California native seems to approve of his ex-wife’s new relationship, having told Entertainment Tonight in July 2021 that he's met Hall "a few times" through real estate work.

The Tarek's Flip Side host also said that he thinks Hall "seems like" a good guy.

"[I] don't really know him, but I sure hope so," he added.

The former costars share two children: daughter Taylor, born in 2010, and son Brayden, born in 2015. Haack also shares son Hudson, born in 2019, with Anstead.

"I never thought I would have one divorce let alone two," Haack wrote via Instagram in September 2020 to announce her second split. "I never thought I would have 2 baby daddies – but sometimes life throws us curve balls. Instead of getting stuck in these 'setbacks' I choose to look at these challenges as opportunities to grow. So while some may judge me and throw around rumors about me, most of you support me. And that says a lot about this world and where we are headed. I'm messy, I'm real and I'm working on healing. … We are all a work in progress."

The “Fantasy” singer, 52, shared an Instagram video at midnight on Monday, November 1, that showed her dressed up in her Christmas finest, complete with red sparkly platforms. The clip began with a shot of three pumpkins carved to say, “It’s not time.”

As the opening notes of her hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” played in the background, the Grammy winner smashed the “not” pumpkin with a candy cane baseball bat. “It’s time,” she narrated as the song continued playing. Later, dressed in a Santa-inspired costume, Carey threw fake snow in the air as her dog, also dressed as Santa, looked on.

“It’s time!!!” read text that popped up at the end of the video. “To smash that pumpkin and treat it as pie … cause we still gotta get through Thanksgiving!!!”

The New York native has established herself as the queen of Christmas over the years, releasing two best-selling holiday albums and doing Christmas concert residencies. In 2019, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” became a No. 1 Billboard hit for the first time, topping the chart 25 years after its original release. It remains the best-selling Christmas single by a female artist of all time. She has also been marking the start of Christmas season with similar videos for the past several years.

Last year, the “Honey” songstress added to her holiday repertoire with the Apple TV+ movie Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special. The special included guest appearances from stars including Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Bette Midler and Billy Eichner, who played Santa’s secretary.

Though Carey is arguably the biggest celebrity Christmas fan out there, she never lets herself get in the spirit before it’s time. "I never want to celebrate too early,” she told Elle in December 2020. “I'm always like, 'We can't do this; they're making it happen too soon.'”

The Glitter actress also doesn’t care if people mock her obsession with the holiday. "I know people are like, ‘You love Christmas!’ and they make fun of me, but it’s OK because I do,” the “Hero” crooner told Naomi Campbell during a November 2020 episode of the “No Filter With Naomi” podcast. “I actually do. It’s what I love.”

As for why her Christmas fandom has persisted into adulthood, Carey pointed to her tumultuous upbringing as a reason for loving the joyful holiday.

Sister Wives' Christine Brown and Kody Brown's Ups and Downs Over the Years

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 02:05 PM PDT

When five become four. Christine Brown‘s announcement that she and her husband, Kody Brown, split for good came as a shock to viewers who have followed the family on Sister Wives since 2010.

The TLC personality announced the news via Instagram in November 2021, shortly before the TLC show’s season 16 premiere. “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote at the time. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.”

The duo, who tied the knot in March 1994, share six children: daughters Aspyn (born March 1995), Mykelti (born June 1996), Gwendlyn (born October 2001), Ysabel (born June 2003) and Truely (born April 2010) and son Paedon (born August 1998).

During the Sister Wives series premiere in September 2010, Christine, who was raised in a polygamous family, said she decided at age 19 that she wanted to be part of a plural marriage.

“I honestly wanted sister wives more than a husband for a good time of my life,” she said at the time. “I want the whole family. I didn’t just want Kody. No, I wanted everything.”

As soon as she realized that she wanted to be part of a polygamous family, she also knew that she wanted to be someone’s third wife — not their first or second.

“They actually say if you’re having problems, like, when you have two wives … marry a third because they’ll even it out,” she said during one confessional scene. “I never wanted to be a first at all because I didn’t want to be married to a guy by myself. And then I didn’t want to be a second because I felt like they were a little wedge in the relationship, and I didn’t want to be the wedge. I only ever wanted to be the third because it sounded the easiest.”

Though Christine was happy to be Kody’s third wife, she initially struggled with the addition of the fourth, Robyn Brown, who wed Kody in May 2010. He has also been married to Meri Brown since April 1990 and to Janelle Brown since January 1993.

“[Robyn] lives, like, five hours away,” Christine said during season 1 when Kody was still courting his future fourth wife. “There [were] a couple times where I’m like, ‘You really can’t go. You can’t leave me, and you can’t leave your family. You are replacing your family with Robyn and her kids.’ It was hard, and at the same point I realized that it needed to happen, but it didn’t necessarily make it easier.”

Sister Wives premiered on TLC and instantly became a hit. Some viewers worried that the family's openness might lead to criminal proceedings given that polygamy was (and still is) illegal in Utah, but no charges were ever filed again Kody and his wives. Kody told Us Weekly in February 2021 that the family dynamic was getting "weird," but one month later, Christine said she preferred their plural marriage to a monogamous one. "It’s so out there and beyond my understanding to have a guy around every night,” she told Us. “I felt, like, it would cramp my style a lot because I’ve never had that as soon as Kody and I married. I was the third wife. And so, I really liked the independence that I have and I love the freedom that I have. I love that I can just have those evenings where I’m wearing the grossest most comfortable clothes ever and I’m just, you know, curled up on the couch with the girls, eating popcorn and playing games or something. … I feel bad whenever I say things like that — really bad.” In the same interview, however, she admitted that she sometimes felt like she wasn't "an equal partner in this whole relationship" with Kody and the other wives. "The thing that I struggled with most is when I feel like I don’t have a say or when I feel like I’m not as important or things like that,” she told Us. “Anytime we’ve had major decisions, I go through a time where I’m like, ‘Does my opinion really even matter here?’ That’s when we struggle the most … is when I feel like I don’t really have a say or I don’t really have an opinion.” Puddle Monkey Prods/Kobal/Shutterstock

During the season 15 finale, Christine shocked her fellow wives by saying that she wanted to move back to Utah. The family had relocated to Arizona in 2018. "We’ve had a rough relationship for a couple of years," Christine said of her husband during an earlier episode. In the finale, she admitted that she wasn't sure she could continue her relationship with Kody. “Meri, I can’t do marriage with Kody anymore,” she said. “I don’t want to. … It’s not enough.” During a confessional interview, she explained that she never got comfortable in Arizona. “I agreed to move to Flagstaff, and I followed Kody here, but it’s been a struggle the whole time," she explained. "I’m tired of feeling like I don’t matter, I’m tired of not having his support when I really need it. I’m just tired. I need a partnership. I need something different than this." A Breakdown of Where Kody Brown Stands With His Sister Wives

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 01:50 PM PDT

Kody Brown's relationships with Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown have all had their ups and downs — but many Sister Wives viewers were still shocked when he and his third wife called it quits.

TLC fans were introduced to the Brown family in 2010 when he was legally married to Meri and spiritually married to Janelle and Christine. The first season followed Robyn's introduction to the group after 16 years of Kody's established routine with his three other wives.

Kody is the father of 18 children total, legally divorcing Meri in 2014 to marry Robyn in order to formally adopt her three children from a previous relationship.

“We have chosen to legally restructure our family,” the Browns said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time. “We made this decision together as a family. We are grateful to our family, friends and fans for all their love and support.”

While Meri was on board with the plan, her relationship with Kody struggled post-divorce as she sought "companionship" from someone online and ended up being catfished. As tensions remained high, Kody admitted to Us in February 2021 that his relationship with his first wife had been in a "very dark place for a very long time" — but he wasn't forcing her to stay.

“It’s been more about trying to get ourselves out of this hole that we dug ourselves into," he told Us at the time. "I feel like [my wives] need to understand that — that they can leave. If it’s not working for them, they can leave. Nobody's going to be a prisoner here.”

Several months later, Christine became the first wife to leave Kody.

“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote via Instagram in November 2021. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family."

He added in a statement of his own at the time: "Christine's decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her. Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents."

Meri Brown
Meri was legally married to Kody from 1990 to 2014, and is still spiritually married to him. However, she admitted in the trailer for season 16 of Sister Wives, which premieres in November 2021, that she has “considered everything” — including leaving Kody — as their rocky relationship continues. The revelation came after she vowed that she wasn’t “going anywhere” in December 2020. “I love this man. 💙 I don't owe anyone an explanation but I'll do it anyway. I'm well aware that we, as a family, have chosen to put ourselves 'out there', which, in turn, brings about all kinds of speculation, commentary, and opinions. But it comes down to this. My relationship with him is MY relationship with him. Sure we've had ups and downs through the years (I mean, isn't that somewhat normal?) High highs and low lows,” she wrote at the time. “But here's my truth. I love him. I love my family. I'm committed. I have 30 years in this. We struggle. We communicate. We repair relationships as the parties involved are willing and able. I'm an independent person who does her own thing. … I'm here. I'm committed. I'm not going anywhere. Don't get your hopes up on that.” Courtesy of Meri Brown/Instagram
Janelle Brown
Janelle spiritually married Kody in 1993. “Kody does a very good job of keeping things very separate. He doesn’t usually talk about the other wives with me. If he did, I wouldn’t really want to because I wouldn’t want to hear it,” she told Us in March 2021. “I just think that’s dangerous for my relationship because I need to have a separate relationship.” Speculation about her status with Kody surfaced in June 2021 when she announced she was living in an RV. In the season 16 trailer, she expressed her displeasure with Kody spending more time with Robyn amid the COVID-19 crisis. “I’m at my wit’s end with this whole bulls—t stuff,” she said.   Courtesy of Janelle Brown/Instagram
Christine Brown
Christine spiritually married Kody in 1995. Her decision to end the relationship — and relocate to Utah — in November 2021 came after she admitted during an April 2021 episode of Sister Wives that she “can’t do marriage with Kody anymore.” One month earlier, she told Us that she felt like she lost her voice in the family. “Anytime we’ve had major decisions, I go through a time where I’m like, ‘Does my opinion really even matter here?’ That’s when we struggle the most … is when I feel like I don’t really have a say or I don’t really have an opinion,” she said in March 2021. Puddle Monkey Prods/Kobal/Shutterstock
Robyn Brown
Robyn legally married Kody in 2014 after four years together. He admittedly spent the most time with her as the group struggled with their dynamic amid the coronavirus pandemic. In March 2021, Kody told Us that he wasn’t opposed to having more kids with Robyn. “That’s really up to her, but it’s always fun to sit here and fill my youth going, ‘I can have kids if I want to,'” he noted at the time. “I do that to my adult children sometimes. It’s not cool to Robyn. She’s like, ‘Oh, this jerk is doing it again.’ And I’m like, ‘I can have more kids if I want to. I might have kids younger than your kids,’ stuff like that. It’s more, like, a dumb thing where I’m just challenging the kids and I’m teasing them.” Puddle Monkey Prods/Kobal/Shutterstock

According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Christine, 49, sold the Arizona property where she lived with Kody, 52, in October and has since moved into a duplex in Utah.

The major life change comes amid Christine’s announcement that she and Kody were going their separate ways.

“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, November 2. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”

The exes, who tied the knot in 1994, share children Asypen, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11.

The salesperson is also married to Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown in 2010. The polygamous group originally lived in Lehi, Utah, before having to move. Their show, Sister Wives, followed the Brown family as they relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, after the Utah government launched an investigation into their plural marriage, which is illegal in all 50 states.

Christine previously spoke about looking to move back to Utah during season 15 of the hit TLC show.

“When we were there, you guys all talked about [how] Utah was home, and the mountains were home, and family was there,” the Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage author said in the April episode, while discussing the family’s recent visit to Utah. “So, I thought that you felt the same.”

Christine broke down when none of her sister wives nor Kody agreed with the idea.

“I can't do marriage with Kody anymore," she revealed during the season 15 finale. "I don't want to. … It's not enough."

One month prior, Christine opened up about the issues that have come up in her marriage over the years.

“The thing that I struggled with most is when I feel like I don’t have a say or when I feel like I’m not as important or things like that,” she exclusively told Us in March. “Anytime we’ve had major decisions, I go through a time where I’m like, ‘Does my opinion really even matter here?’ That’s when we struggle the most … is when I feel like I don’t really have a say or I don’t really have an opinion.”

Following their split eight months later, Kody also addressed Christine’s decision to part ways.

“Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her,” he wrote via Instagram in November. “Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.”

Everything Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson Have Said About Their Feud

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 01:27 PM PDT

You don’t turn your back on family — unless you’re Vin Diesel or Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who have been nursing grudges against each other off and on since at least 2016.

The two action stars made their first onscreen appearance together in 2011’s Fast Five, in which the former wrestler joined the already long-running franchise as Luke Hobbs, an agent pursuing the Fast and Furious crew for their various crimes against … every law enforcement agency in the world.

Everything seemed copacetic over the years as Johnson returned for the sixth and seventh entries in the saga, but in August 2016, the Jumanji star set the fandom ablaze with a since-deleted Instagram post in which he referred to unnamed members of the cast as “candy asses.”

Rumors immediately swirled that he was insulting Diesel, who had been part of the Fast franchise since the first movie premiered in 2001. A few days later, after filming for The Fate of the Furious wrapped, Johnson posted another Instagram thanking some of his castmates by name — Scott Eastwood and Nathalie Emmanuel, for example — but pointedly did not mention Diesel.

Though the Rampage star never identified the target of his ire, his costar seemingly confirmed that it was him in his own Instagram video. “Honestly, give me a second and I will tell you everything,” he said. “Everything.”

Later, the duo’s costar Michelle Rodriguez confirmed that there was tension between the men on set, though chalked it up as the kind of disagreement any close friends could have.

"Any human being who knows what men are like knows to stay out [of those] situations and let them figure it out," she said in September 2016. "They're 'bros', man. They're friends, and ultimately even friends reach a point where they have to set aside their differences to make a movie for multicultural people around the world, and that is the bigger scheme of things."

Fellow Fast Saga actor Tyrese Gibson was somewhat less diplomatic, however, when F9 was delayed for the first time in October 2017. (It was later delayed again because of the coronavirus pandemic.)

“Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU,” he wrote via Instagram, seemingly blaming Johnson for the movie’s production delays.

At that point, Diesel defended the San Andreas actor from Gibson’s accusations, saying that it wasn’t any one person’s fault and the franchise was “in need of maintenance.” Johnson, meanwhile, left the main Fast Saga and starred in his own spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw.

Keep scrolling to see everything Hobbs and Toretto have said about their feud over the years:

The Post That Started It All
"Some [male costars] conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't," Johnson wrote via Instagram in August 2016, kicking off the public feud between the two stars. "The ones that don't are too chicken s—t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you're right." In a follow-up post, the Baywatch star said that conflict could be beneficial, but again didn't name names. “Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs,” he wrote. “To me, conflict can be a good thing, when it’s followed by great resolution. I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it.” Larry Marano/Shutterstock
Vin Responds
After filming for The Fate of the Furious wrapped in August 2016, Diesel posted a video about how happy he was to be home with his family after making two movies back-to-back. He also included a seeming nod to his drama with Johnson, saying, "Honestly, give me a second and I will tell you everything. Everything." Jim Smeal/Shutterstock
Free Publicity
In a November 2016 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Johnson implied that the feud was at least partly free publicity for The Fate of the Furious. “I’ve been in the game a long time,” he said of the conflict. “Would Universal have preferred that didn’t happen? Sure, we talked about it. The irony is after that and as they do their tracking and all their analysis, the interest shot through the roof to a whole other level.” Shutterstock
Close Friends
Ahead of the Fate release, Diesel told USA Today that the costars were actually friends and the whole situation had been overblown by fans and critics. "I don’t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way," he explained. "I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don't think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne." He also described himself as the punching bag for the franchise and claimed he was taking hits for the good of all the cast and crew. "I protect the franchise," he added. "I protect everybody including Dwayne. I protected Dwayne more than he’ll ever know. And it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t have to know. But he appreciates it. He knows it. Dwayne has only got one Vin in his life. Dwayne Johnson only has one big brother in this film world and that’s me." Moviestore/Shutterstock
Family First
Both stars attended the Fate of the Furious premiere in April 2017. “We still love each other, that's my boy," Diesel told Entertainment Tonight. "When I was making that difficult decision, should there be an 8 or not, I called [Johnson] and he said, ‘Brother, I will be there shoulder to shoulder with you to make sure it's the best movie in history.’ And he delivered." Johnson, for his part, said their feud was the result of "differing philosophies." Felipe Dana/AP/Shutterstock
Brotherhood
After Gibson accused Johnson of being the reason production on F9 was delayed, Diesel defended his costar via Instagram. "Brotherhood ... and all its complexities," he wrote in October 2017, alongside a photo of himself with Johnson in character. "I know there has been a lot of speculation as to why the Fast 9 release date was pushed ... but it would be unfair to say it is anyone's fault. As we plot the course to expand the Fast & Furious universe, one must be mindful to take stock of the roads we took to get here. The pillars of authenticity, family and most importantly, our loyal fans' perspective has been instrumental in procuring success. However, like any vehicle that has run around the globe 8 times, the franchise is in need of maintenance." Marion Curtis/Starpix/Shutterstock
Together, But Apart
As viewers of Fate of the Furious quickly noticed, the two actors did not appear together in any scenes. Asked about this fact for a 2018 Rolling Stone interview, Johnson replied, "That is correct. We were not in any scenes together." David Fisher/Shutterstock
A Heartfelt Thank You
Johnson seemingly let go of any remaining grudges after the success of Hobbs & Shaw. In an Instagram video shared in September 2019, he specifically thanked Diesel for his support of the spinoff. "Lastly, but not least, want to thank brother Vin for your support of Hobbs & Shaw," he said. "I'll be seeing you soon, Toretto." David Fisher/Shutterstock
Tough Love
The Bloodshot star reignited conversation about the feud in June 2021, telling Men's Health that creating the Hobbs character required "tough love" on his part. "My approach at the time was a lot of tough love to assist in getting that performance where it needed to be,” he explained. “As a producer to say, ‘OK, we’re going to take Dwayne Johnson, who’s associated with wrestling, and we’re going to force this cinematic world, audience members, to regard his character as someone that they don’t know’ — Hobbs hits you like a ton of bricks.” He added that any of his potential critiques were in service of his role as a producer on the franchise. "That took a lot of work," he told the magazine. "We had to get there and sometimes, at that time, I could give a lot of tough love. Not Fellini-esque, but I would do anything I’d have to do in order to get performances in anything I’m producing.” Rob Latour/Shutterstock
Moving On
Johnson revealed in July 2021 that he would not be returning to the franchise after he did not appear in 2021’s F9. “I’ve wished them well,” he told The Hollywood Reporter at the time. “I wish them well on Fast 9. And I wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast & Furious movies they do that will be without me.” The Moana star also commented on Diesel’s “tough love” remarks, telling the outlet, “I laughed and I laughed hard.” People Picture/Gerome Kochan/Shutterstock; Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Some Regrets
In October 2021, Johnson told Vanity Fair that it wasn't his "best day" when he shared the original Instagram post that started it all. "I shouldn’t have shared that," he added. "Because at the end of the day, that goes against my DNA. I don’t share things like that. And I take care of that kind of bulls—t away from the public. They don’t need to know that. That’s why I say it wasn’t my best day.” Though he regretted the initial post, the Jungle Cruise star said he wouldn't take back his message if given the chance. "I mean what I say when I say it," he shared. "But to express it publicly was not the right thing to do.” He also claimed that unnamed members of the Fate of the Furious crew "quietly thanked" him for speaking out about Diesel's behavior. Jokes Are Fair Game
“The jokes never end,” Johnson said during a November 2021 appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show when asked about the jab at Diesel in his film Red Notice. “People were asking me about that, and they find a way. These Vin Diesel jokes — which play great, by the way, to the audience, which is always a good thing because it’s all about them — people think these jokes come from me and they actually don’t.”   The former wrestler added: “You’d be surprised with how many people come to me with, ‘I’ve got a great one. I’ve got another great Vin Diesel joke.’ I’m sure you do. [They’re] always funny.” Netflix; Rob Latour/Shutterstock

Kourtney and her fiancé, Travis Barker, also dressed up in a range of costumes this year, first channeling Nancy Spungen and Sid Vicious, respectively. The couple went on to sport Clarence Worley and Alabama Whitman outfits from True Romance, followed by Edward Scissorhands and Kim on Sunday.

The Blink-182 drummer, 45, proposed to the former E! personality last month, less than one year after they went public with their relationship. The musician asked Kris Jenner for her permission to wed Kourtney before popping the question on the beach surrounded by roses and candles.

"I'm so excited; he was really cute, he did that [proposal] all on his own," the talent manager, 65, told Ellen DeGeneres on Friday, October 29, of the engagement. "He's a sweetheart and they're so happy. They can't wait. … I think people at the hotel thought they were setting up for The Bachelorette or something."

The In the Kitchen With Kris author went on to say that the pair were "made for each other," gushing, "They're the cutest couple, they're so in love and, you know, they let us know they're so in love. Constantly. … You feel like they're the only two people in the room [with their PDA]. And we almost don't know what to do with ourselves, like, I'm looking for a closet to hide in [or] somewhere to go. But they're in that stage, and it's really, really special."

Flying solo! Celebrities are known for making headlines for their romances, but the single life can be just as fulfilling as being part of a twosome.

Jennifer Aniston has enjoyed her fair share of high-profile relationships including marriages to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017. The Friends alum explained to Elle in December 2018 that her marriage to Theroux ended because she chose to put her happiness before the fear of not being in a relationship.

"Sure, there were bumps, and not every moment felt fantastic, obviously, but at the end of it, this is our one life and I would not stay in a situation out of fear,” Aniston said at the time. “Fear of being alone. Fear of not being able to survive. To stay in a marriage based on fear feels like you're doing your one life a disservice.”

As for Pitt, the Horrible Bosses star sent fans into a frenzy when he and Aniston were spotted chatting backstage at the 2020 SAG Awards in January 2020. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star even paused backstage to listen to Aniston give her acceptance speech for her role in The Morning Show. However, a source told Us Weekly in February 2020 that the pair’s relationship is strictly platonic despite the speculation.

"There's nothing romantic going on between Brad and Jen and they actually think it's hysterical that fans are so obsessed with them getting back together," the insider explained.

Taylor Swift is also known for her many famous exes including John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles and Calvin Harris. Although the “Lover” songstress has finally settled down with her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, her dating history led her to learn a few lessons about being single.

“[Guys] can be a part of your life but never let the guy be your life,” Swift told Katie Couric in October 2012. “They can live in your world, but never make the guy your world. Knowing who you are and being independent and strong will be attractive to the right guy.”

Selena Gomez
"I’ve been super, super single for two years,” Gomez, whose on-off romance with Justin Bieber ended for good in 2018, shared on The Zach Sang Show in October 2020. “I’ve been having way too much fun being on my own. It sucked for the first year, I was like, ‘I just want to cuddle. I just want to watch something and be adored.’ But now it feels good, it feels awesome." Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock
Allison Janney
"I really am at this time in my life getting to know who I am and what I want," the Mom alum said on The Drew Barrymore Show in April 2021. "So I'd love to eventually find someone to share my life with, but if it doesn't happen, I think I'll be just fine." David Fisher/Shutterstock
Sharon Stone
After previously raising eyebrows with her presence on the Bumble dating app, Stone told Drew Barrymore in October 2020, "I'm done dating, I've had it with dating. "When we were really young, it was a lot easier. Because we were crazy. I'm not crazy now. We moved fast and furiously in those days, and I had lots of boyfriends and lots of amazing relationships and lots and lots of fun. I had enough fun and enough relationships to last me for the rest of my life, really," the Fleetwood Mac singer — who famously dated bandmates Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood in the past — told Vulture in 2013. "If that special man walked into my life, I'm the first one to say I would probably pack my bags and go with him. But it’s a very elusive thing. ... Most women would not be happy being me. People say, 'But you're alone.' But I don't feel alone. I feel very un-alone. I feel very sparkly and excited about everything." PA Images/INSTARimages.com

The Mad Men alum welcomed son Xander in 2011 and while she's kept the identity of his father under wraps, she's totally conquered single motherhood. "Xander has a lot of bro time with the neighbor dads and my dad, who is super young. It's good to have strong women around a man to teach him to respect women," Jones told Red magazine in 2017. "He doesn't have a male person saying, 'Don't cry' or 'You throw like a girl.' All those s--tty things that dads accidentally do. ... I just don't feel I need a partner. Do I want one? Maybe. But I don't feel unhappy or lonely." Rob Latour/Shutterstock

"The best part about being single is knowing that my happiness is coming from no other person than myself," the "I Love Me" singer wrote in an Instagram Story in December 2020, three months after calling off their engagement to Max Ehrich. "If you have not built a home, if you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby, and you are turning 30, and you're not in some incredibly secure, stable place in your career, or you're still figuring things out ... There's just this incredible amount of anxiety," the Harry Potter star told British Vogue in November 2019. "It took me a long time, but I'm very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered." Gregory Pace/Shutterstock
Rihanna
"Guys need attention," the "Needed Me" songstress told the New York Times in 2015. "They need that nourishment, that little stroke of the ego that gets them by every now and then. I’ll give it to my family, I’ll give it to my work — but I will not give it to a man right now.’’ David Fisher/Shutterstock
Drew Barrymore
"Sexual love is secondary to me right now," the Charlie's Angels star told Parade magazine in 2014. "I’ve spent a lot of time in my life dedicating myself to love or the pursuit of love or the understanding of love. But for the last few years, my life just hasn’t been about that for me. It’s just not about the mother baggage. It’s not about the boy. It’s about something completely different, and it’s very refreshing. I’m trying to understand it and relish it." Mindy Kaling
"In my 20s, I was not only boy crazy, but marriage and relationship crazy," the Mindy Project star recalled to Flare magazine in 2014. "Now it's almost the opposite. My work is so rewarding and I'm so self-centered about it that I'm kind of excited about not having to go home and ask someone about their day." Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock
Khloé Kardashian
"I think being single is really healthy for people," the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said while hosting a party at 1OAK Nightclub in 2014. "I think people who go from one relationship to another, I don’t know if they have a healing process or know what went wrong or how to better themselves." Larry Marano/Shutterstock

"So I'm really happy about the fact that being single doesn't feel like being alone," the "Blank Space" singer told E! News in 2014. "I have love in my life, I just don't have a relationship, and that feels really natural right now." NINA PROMMER/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

The 23-year-old model took to Instagram on Tuesday, November 2, and described her journey in a nearly 30-minute video captioned, “here’s my story I guess.” As she reflected on the past year of her search for answers about her health, Hamlin noted that some people — who remained unnamed — told her not to talk about what she experienced.

“This is scary to do,” she began. “Basically, in the beginning of the year, I want to say February and March, is when I got my COVID-19 vaccine. … And after the second vaccine, I was sick for, like, 36 hours. I felt like my bones were breaking but, like, whatever. … That’s when everything kind of started.”

Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin‘s daughter recalled flying home from the U.K. to get her second dose of the Moderna shot, which wasn’t available across the pond at that time. Following her 11-hour flight, she had a severe panic attack and called her housekeeper for help.

“I didn’t realize that the vaccine would cause an autoimmune response in my body,” Delilah continued, reassuring her followers that she’s not anti-vaccine. “Basically [it] flared up and triggered certain autoimmune diseases that I didn’t know I had. … I started getting really sick, I started feeling like I had the flu. I was getting migraines, I was having panic attacks — it was like my body was in constant ‘fight or flight’ mode. It was horrible.”

The California native consulted different specialists to try to find out what was going wrong and ended up seeing a psychiatrist for help with her panic attacks.

“I just knew in my gut that there was something else wrong,” she recalled, listing all the antibiotics and supplements she was told to take for a series of health problems, including tick-borne illnesses. “For the panic attacks, they were so bad that I had to find a psychiatrist. I found this guy and he … over-prescribed me.”

Delilah claimed she was instructed to take “three milligrams of Xanax a day,” adding, “My body got dependent on Xanax, No. 1, and No. 2, I overdosed. I didn’t mean to at all. I overdosed on this one medication called Propranolol. I took Benadryl with it and, for some reason, I ended up in the hospital.”

She remembered feeling “helpless” and “hopeless” from the panic attacks, which weren’t helped by the Xanax, and decided to check into “a beautiful place in Arizona” for continued treatment.

“I had already come down on the Xanax. I wasn’t like a drug addict, but my body was dependent on it because of how much the doctor had prescribed me,” she said, tearing up as she continued to share her experience. “I thought this place was gonna be, like, a place to cure me, cure everything, help me.”

Delilah noted that it “was really hard at first” to be at the treatment center, which she clarified wasn’t a rehab facility. “Everything seemed to work. I cut down so much on my Xanax [use]. … [But] I’m having seizures left and right,” she said. “My health is getting scary. … Unfortunately, I was I think a medical risk, so I was politely asked to leave after three weeks of being there and making a best friend.”

Because the place she was staying wasn’t an official medical facility, Delilah was encouraged to seek help elsewhere. “My family and I are struggling to figure out, kind of, what to do,” she continued. “Mentally, I am not great today. I’m feeling hopeless … since the last treatment center didn’t work out.”

The reality star previously visited rehab twice in 2018 for anxiety and depression. Currently, she’s struggling with Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS), Epstein-Barr virus and Encephalitis.

As she shared her recent health scares, Delilah’s boyfriend, Eyal Booker, showed his support in the comments. “I love you & know you will get better. Day by day ❤,” he wrote. “So proud of you for continuing to fight xxxx.”

The Intruders alum was previously linked to rugby player Joseph Robinson in January 2020, after splitting from Jacob Sartorious in July 2018. The exes dated for seven months before calling it quits.

Celebrity Splits of 2021: Stars Who Broke Up This Year

Posted: 02 Nov 2021 11:43 AM PDT

Heartbreak club. Not all celebrity couples got the fairy-tale ending they were hoping for in 2021, including Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley.

Us Weekly confirmed on January 7 that the Even Stevens alum and the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress had split after one month of dating.

The pair's breakup came amid LaBeouf's legal trouble with ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs, who accused the actor in December 2020 of "relentless abuse" while they were together. The Peanut Butter Falcon star said in a statement to The New York Times that "many of these allegations are not true" but accepted "accountability" for his past mistakes.

Us confirmed on January 18 that Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas had called it quits after dating less than a year. The Deep Water costars were first linked in March 2020 after meeting on the set of their upcoming film.

"Ben and Ana were so close to each other," a source told Us following the breakup. "They have their issues, but still want to remain on good terms and keep a friendship."

Couples who met on reality TV shows also experienced heartache in 2021, with The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart winners Bri Stauss and Chris Watson announcing their split on January 19.

Love Island season 2 winners Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew separated the same month. Their breakup came three months after the show's finale aired.

Alice Evans, meanwhile, shocked many fans when she claimed in a since-deleted tweet on January 26 that her husband of 13 years, Ioan Gruffudd, told her "he is to leave his family" without any further explanation. The Titanic actor and Evans later shared a joint statement to Us, saying, "As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy."

The Mentalist's Simon Baker and Rebecca Rigg called it quits after 29 years of marriage in late January, saying in a joint statement that they "remain close friends and our three children will always be the most important focus of our lives."

And after finishing her "year of health" in December 2020, Rebel Wilson revealed via an Instagram post in February 2021 that she was single after dating Jacob Busch for more than a year.

"They talked all throughout the holidays and had excellent communication, but then, all of a sudden, she got really quiet and broke up with him via text message about two or three weeks ago," a source exclusively told Us on February 4, confirming the breakup.

“Prayers for me please,” the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer star, 51, tweeted on Monday, November 1. “Yesterday I took an ambulance ride to the hospital. I'm still here with pneumonia, I'm on oxygen etc, all covid related of course. I'm in good spirits and in great hands. ❤🙏🏼

The actress, a vocal conservative, was admitted to Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Swanson relocated from California to the Garden State with her husband, Lloyd Eisler, in January 2020.

“Thank you all for the prayers it truly means a lot to me. I can feel it,” she shared with fans a few hours later. “Just little more clarification & update, I was just at the tail end of my Covid diagnosis when it jumped into my lungs. So they are treating me with Baricitinib & blood thinners so I don't clot. I'm ok.”

The Psych alum praised the “wonderful staff” of healthcare workers who provided her care. “My night nurse is Rose and I love her because she takes care of me and that's my moms name Rose,” she shared. “The paramedics in NJ are super pro, friggin amazing and hot AF! I'm doing great.”

Swanson has been very active on social media while hospitalized, discussing politics, encouraging voter turnout and sharing hockey videos. She did not reveal whether she was vaccinated against COVID-19, but she slammed reports that claimed she was against the shot.

“Fact Check: I have NEVER said I am anti-vax,” the actress responded to one tweet that has since been deleted.

The Skating With Celebrities winner suggested in September that vaccine mandates were designed simply to make money.

“Oh I see, so it behaves just like the flu. Every year a new flew strain arises & a new vaccine comes out for it, if you want to get one. That's exactly what this whole thing is, except this time they want to mandate vaccines so they can make mo-money 🤑🙄,” she tweeted on September 29.
