Sam Asghari has fans wondering if he’s mocking fiancée Britney Spears‘ ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. The fitness guru, 27, shared a screenshot of an article about him thanking Spears, 39, for helping his acting career via his Instagram Story on Sunday, November 21. “Bringing sexy back is cool and all,” he wrote alongside the image. “But bringing (real) back in Hollywood is even sexier.” Asghari finished his post with a winking face with tongue emoji. The reference to “bringing sexy back” immediately made fans think of the former ‘NSync member, 40, but the emojis hint that the Asghari Fitness founder might simply be having a laugh.  Long before Asghari’s September proposal to Spears, Timberlake and the singer took their romance public in 1999. They split in 2002 amid allegations that the “Baby One More Time” songstress had an affair, but the two don’t seem to be holding any grudges more than 20 years later. The Las Vegas performer has shared several references to her ex on social media over the past couple years, and all her anecdotes have been very positive. In April 2020, the Louisiana-raised singer shared a video dancing to Timberlake’s "Filthy." "PS I know we had one of the world's biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius," she captioned the video via Instagram at the time. "Great song JT Timberlake commented with a series of emojis, " In February 2021, the Tennessee native officially apologized to his ex-girlfriend after The New York Times Presents “Framing Britney Spears” was released. "I've seen the messages, tags, comments, and concerns and I want to respond. I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right. I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others and benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism," he shared in a statement at the time. "I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be part of and grow from." He later supported the #FreeBritney movement to release Spears from her conservatorship after hearing her bombshell testimony in June. “After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time," he tweeted at the time. “Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was … what's happening to her is just not right. No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body. No one should EVER be held against their will … or ever have to ask permission to access everything they've worked so hard for." The “Cry Me a River” singer added that he and wife Jessica Biel, who he married in 2013, “send our love, and our absolute support to Britney during this time. We hope the courts, and her family make this right and let her live however she wants to live.” The conservatorship was terminated earlier this month after 13 years. |

Emma Thompson was spotted getting her groove on during An Audience With Adele, and her moves are already going viral. Adele, 33, played The London Palladium for the U.K. concert special, which aired across the pond on ITV Sunday, November 21. The “Easy On Me” singer invited tons of A-Listers. Emma Watson, Dua Lipa, Samuel L. Jackson, Daniel Kaluuya and Mel B. were just a few of the recognizable guests in the 2300-seat theater. While Adele was performing “Rolling in the Deep,” Thompson, 62, was seen among the seated crowd. She got up with a huff and seemed to tell everyone to get up and start dancing. When the camera cut back to the Love Actually actress a few seconds later, everyone near her — including Idris Elba — was on their feet. Not only did Thompson encourage dancing, but she put her heart into it. The Cruella star rocked out while moving to the beat, and even viewers at home took notice. The England native was showered with compliments on Twitter. “Emma Thompson dancing to Adele is literally a whole mood,” one user tweeted. Another added, “Emma Thompson giving zero f–ks and dancing and living her best life watching @Adele is maybe the high point of 2021 so far AND I AM HERE FOR IT.” One viewer even said that it was like a display of the U.K.’s best entertainers. “Alan Carr belting a tune out, Emma Thompson dancing away and Stormzy knowing and singing every Adele lyric. This is Britain at its finest. #AnAudienceWithAdele,” they shared. Others found very unique ways to convey their love for Thompson’s dance skills. “I suddenly want to be a Teletubbies and have this video of Emma Thompson dancing playing on my belly for the rest of my life,” someone posted.
Thompson wasn’t just there to cut a rug, though. An Audience With Adele involved the two-time Academy Award winner in a big surprise. She asked the songstress a question, and Adele assumed it was an innocent inquiry. “When you were younger, was there someone who kind of supported you or inspired you or protected you from all the trials and tribulations of life and inspired you to go on?” Thompson asked. Adele answered, “Yeah, I had a teacher at Chestnut Grove who taught me English. That was Miss MacDonald.” The Grammy winner explained that while they didn’t keep in touch, she remembers Miss MacDonald fondly as someone who inspired her love of literature and writing. Thompson surprised Adele by revealing her eighth grade English teacher was in the audience. Adele broke down in tears, hugged her former teacher and promised to get her phone number so they could have a proper catch up eventually. |

The Dancing With the Stars alum, 33, and the 6-foot-3 model were spotted in Los Angeles on Friday, November 19, according to pictures obtained by Page Six. The duo went to a restaurant to pick up some takeout, including a few green juices. The possible new couple kissed and hugged before putting on their masks to grab some grub. The dancer looked very casual in a brown jacket, sports bra, baggy sweatpants and fuzzy sandals. Wilson, who is represented by Ursula Wiedmann Models, wore a bright green T-shirt with copper-colored trousers and sneakers. The potential relationship would be a new chapter for Hough, who filed for divorce from estranged husband Brooks Laich one year ago. The legal process started five months after the couple announced their split. "We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate," they said in a joint statement at the time. "We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward." | Halyna Hutchins Laid to Rest 1 Month After Dying On 'Rust' Set Posted: 21 Nov 2021 01:54 PM PST While filming his movie Rust on Thursday, October 21, Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that injured the director and killed another crew member. The incident occurred at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico. According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department, the weapon was “discharged” by the 30 Rock alum, 63, and Deadline later reported that production on the Western was paused. “Mr. Baldwin came in voluntarily to speak with investigators,” sheriff’s office spokesman Juan Ríos noted in a statement, asserting that the situation would be treated like “any other investigation.” Detectives were trying to determine “what type of projectile was discharged” as the set remained on lockdown. The victims — director Joel Souza and director of photography Halyna Hutchins — were rushed to receive medical attention after being struck. Hutchins, 42, was pronounced dead at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque. The 48-year-old filmmaker, for his part, was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center via helicopter. While his condition was initially unknown, Deadline was told by Souza’s rep that he was released from the hospital on Friday, October 22. The movie’s production company, Rust Movie Productions LLC, noted in a statement regarding the accident, “The entire cast and crew has been absolutely devastated by today’s tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Halyna’s family and loved ones. We have halted production on the film for an undetermined period of time and are fully cooperating with the Santa Fe Police Department’s investigation. We will be providing counseling services to everyone connected to the film as we work to process this awful event.” Hutchins was originally from the Ukraine and had been sharing updates about the filming process with her Instagram followers ahead of her death. “One of the perks of shooting a western is you get to ride horses on your day off:),” she captioned a video of herself on Wednesday, October 20, as she joined a group on horseback. The Emmy winner broke his silence on Hutchins’ death on Friday via Twitter, writing, “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.” Before Baldwin addressed the incident, tributes poured in for the late cinematographer. “I’m in shock. I was so lucky to have had Halyna Hutchins as my DP on ‘Archenemy,'” Joe Manganiello tweeted. “An incredible talent & great person. I can't believe this could happen in this day and age… gunfire from a prop gun could kill a crew member? What a horrible tragedy. My heart goes out to her family.” Ava DuVernay left a comment on casting director Sidra Smith‘s Instagram post about Hutchins, writing, “Devastating. Absolutely horrific. Blessings to you during this difficult time, Sidra. The crew member “did not know live rounds were in the prop gun,” Detective Joel Cano declared in an affidavit. They accused the production of not properly following safety protocols, including gun inspections. The workers claimed that there were two accidental gun discharges on set before, with Baldwin’s stunt double allegedly firing a gun that was announced as “cold” only to find a live round in it. “There should have been an investigation into what happened,” a crew member alleged to the LA Times. “There were no safety meetings. There was no assurance that it wouldn’t happen again. ABC’s police drama The Rookie has officially banned live rounds. “As of today, it is now policy on The Rookie that all gunfire on set will be with Air Soft guns with CG muzzle flashes added in post,” showrunner Alexi Hawley wrote in a memo obtained by The Hollywood Reporter on Friday, October 22. “There will be no more ‘live’ weapons on the show. The safety of our cast and crew is too important.” Amazon Prime’s The Boys, which is known for its violent action sequences, will also forgo live rounds. Showrunner Eric Kripke, who worked with Rust cast member Jensen Ackles on Supernatural and The Boys, announced the news on Friday via Twitter. “In [Hutchins’] memory, a simple, easy pledge: no more guns with blanks on any of my sets ever. In 1993, the late Brandon Lee was killed during filming for The Crow after an improperly loaded prop gun was fired. His sister, Shannon Lee, reacted to the Rust incident on Thursday. "Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on 'Rust,'" she tweeted via a memorial account set up for her brother. It will surely aid in my recovery." Producers told the outlet that an incident report was filed and a new assistant director was brought in. Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock  On October 22, a Rust crewmember named Serge Svetnoy shared a photo of Hutchins that he claimed was taken shortly before the fatal shooting. “This is the last photo with Halyna on set,” he wrote via Facebook. The snapshot showed the cinematographer shooting a scene with Baldwin in a small church on the New Mexico set. Two days later, Svetnoy shared an emotional post in which he revealed that he “was holding [Hutchins] in my arms while she was dying. Her blood was on my hands,” he wrote via Facebook on October 24. In that same message, the electrician stated that, in his opinion, Hutchins’ death was “the fault of negligence and unprofessionalism.” Courtesy of Halyna Hutchins/Instagram  Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed during a press conference on October 27 that a lead bullet was recovered from Souza’s shoulder after he was taken to the hospital. The bullet is believed to be the one that fatally struck Hutchins. Police also collected approximately 600 items of evidence, including 500 rounds of ammunition from the set, which were a mixture of “blanks, dummy rounds and what we are suspecting were live rounds,” according to Mendoza. During a September episode of the “Voices of West” podcast, the former model admitted “the best part” of her job was “just showing people who are normally kind of freaked out by guns how safe they can be and how they’re not really problematic unless put in the wrong hands.” Reed is the daughter of longtime armorer Thell Reed, who was Brad Pitt’s shooting coach on the 2007 film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. However, the 24-year-old had only worked on one movie before landing the role of head armorer on Baldwin's western. The Hollywood rookie noted she had “figured” out most of the job's requirements on “my own” and said that “loading blanks” is the “scariest thing to me.” Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock  Gutierrez Reed's lawyers, Jason Bowles and Robert Gorence, released a statement to Us on October 29. "First Hannah would like to extend her deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Halyna," the statement read, referring to Hutchins as "an inspirational woman in film who Hannah looked up to." The statement went on to allege that she had been "slandered" in the aftermath of the shooting. "Safety is Hannah’s number one priority on set. Ultimately this set would never have been compromised if live ammo were not introduced," the lawyers claimed on her behalf. "Hannah has no idea where the live rounds came from. Hannah and the prop master gained control over the guns and she never witnessed anyone shoot live rounds with these guns and nor would she permit that. They were locked up every night and at lunch and there’s no way a single one of them was unaccounted for or being shot by crew members. Hannah still, to this day, has never had an accidental discharge." Though there have been reports that there were two accidental discharges in other situations on set, Gutierrez Reed's lawyers allege that others were at fault. "The first one on this set was the prop master and the second was a stunt man after Hannah informed him his gun was hot with blanks," they alleged. "Hannah was hired on two positions on this film, which made it extremely difficult to focus on her job as an armorer," they said in the October 29 statement. "She fought for training, days to maintain weapons, and proper time to prepare for gunfire but ultimately was overruled by production and her department. The whole production set became unsafe due to various factors, including lack of safety meetings. This was not the fault of Hannah." "I’ve been ordered by the sheriff’s department in Santa Fe, I can’t answer any questions about the investigation," Baldwin said. "I can’t — it’s an active investigation in terms of a woman died. "The guy is overwhelmed with grief," Baldwin said on October 30. "There are incidental accidents on film sets from time to time but nothing like this. This is a one in a trillion event, and so he is in shock [and] has a 9-year-old son. We are in constant contact with him. We’re very worried about his family and his kid, and we’re eagerly awaiting for the sheriff’s department telling us what their investigation has yielded.” Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock  Dave Halls, the assistant director on Rust, released a statement in which he praised his “friend” Hutchins. “I’m shocked and saddened by her death,” he said. “It’s my hope that this tragedy prompts the industry to reevaluate its values and practices to ensure no one is harmed through the creative process again.” He continued, “My thoughts are with all who knew and loved Halyna.” Halls did not address the details of the incident or the reports that he was the one who handed Baldwin the gun involved in the shooting. Davis’ post, which the actor shared via his Instagram account on November 2, claimed “the story being spun of us being overworked and surrounded by unsafe, chaotic conditions is bulls—t.” Davis stated that she “never worked more than a 12.5-hour shoot day,” saying that only happened once and “most days” were under the 12-hour mark. She recalled the day that Hutchins died, saying, “We had come off a 12-hour turnaround after an 11-hour shoot day,” noting they had a “56-hour weekend right before” the prolonged day. “No one was too tired to do their jobs,” she said. She refuted claims that the producers on the film didn’t care about their crew, writing, “They were some of the most approachable and warm producers I’ve ever worked with.” Davis explained that “concerns were heard and addressed” by the producers. Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix have kept their romance relatively private since they were first linked in 2016, but their flame has still burned bright. The Joker star and his fiancée first crossed paths on the set of Spike Jonze's 2012 flick Her. Looking back on his initial interactions with Mara, who played his ex-wife in the Oscar-winning film, Phoenix admitted to Vanity Fair in October 2019 that he was convinced Mara "despised" him. Eventually, he realized that the Carol star was interested in him but too shy to express it. “She's the only girl I ever looked up on the internet,” Phoenix explained at the time. “We were just friends, email friends. I'd never done that. Never looked up a girl online.” The private pair made their first public appearance as an item in May 2017 at the Cannes Film Festival in France. Four months later, the Gladiator star told the New York Times that he and Mara were living together in the Hollywood Hills. While Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's new relationship may come as a surprise to many, the pair have known each other for years. After Barker spent time with Kardashian at her mom Kris Jenner's Palm Springs, California, home in January 2021, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair were dating. "Kourtney and Travis are officially a couple," the insider told Us. "They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple months. Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while." Shortly before the dating news broke, the Blink-182 drummer left multiple flirty comments on the Poosh founder's Instagram posts. As she shared a steamy selfie from her closet, Barker commented with a rose emoji. He dropped a mermaid emoji beneath a pic of her walking into the ocean. He also wrote, "You’re So Cool," after she shared screenshots of the 1993 film True Romance. The Dateline NBC correspondent, 48, is a mother of six. She shares her big brood with husband Tony Bancroft, a United States Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel. The two have been married since 2008. The couple must get Anna, 12, Charlie, 11, Kiki, 9, Georgia, 7, and Elle, 6, to school in the morning while Tripp, 2, gets to stay with his mom during the day. Canning, with Tripp’s help, meal preps for dinner and indulges with some pizza for lunch before getting some work done. She’s busy since Dateline airs all-new two-hour episodes on NBC Fridays at 9 p.m. ET. Canning caught up with Us while she was filming part of the October 22 Dateline episode, which investigated the 2017 murder of singer Egypt Covington. "It's the most wonderful time of the year!!! It's happening, people!!!" the Full House alum, 45, wrote via Instagram on November 10, sharing a video of herself putting up her fake tree at home. "The tree is up Gaines, for her part, decorated a special tree with 3-year-old son Crew in early November to mark the start of the season. She also shared a few highlights of Christmas past via her Magnolia blog to get fans just as excited for holiday festivities. "Our family's tradition of gifting ornaments each year began with [my husband] Chip [Gaines]'s mom, Gayle. The first year that Chip and I were married, I wanted to decorate our Christmas tree based on a specific color story — and decided it would be an all-blue theme," Joanna, 43, wrote in a recent blog. "That same year on Thanksgiving, Gayle gifted us a bright red Radko ornament. Truthfully, I hesitated putting it on the tree because I knew it would throw off my color theme. It makes me laugh now, but at the time I thought, 'Where am I going to put this?'" The Magnolia Network cofounder noted that she ultimately decided to put her mother-in-law's gift on the tree, which led to their family's tradition of giving each other ornaments as pre-Christmas gifts. "What I learned to love was this: Though that ornament stuck out in stark contrast to my blue tree, that bright red ornament told a story," she added. "Not only was it a heartfelt gift from Chip's mom, but the ornament signified our first Christmas together, and that made it worthy of the spotlight." "I had cancer," the Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 59, shared during a Wednesday, November 17, appearance on SiriusXM's "Jeff Lewis Live" podcast alongside Tamra Judge. "I just had my whole f–king uterus taken out." The Bravo personality's revelation came shortly after she opened up about her relationship with ex Brooks Ayers and how she dealt with his alleged cancer battle. "What did I win? I f-cking got $380,000 out of my checkbook into his," the Illinois native explained. "I paid for all his s–t for five years. So people say I was in on some scam? I got scammed. He was 'sick' so he couldn't work. Don't get me down this rabbit hole." The Ultimate Girls Trip star continued at the time, "It made me [go] absolutely crazy thinking about anybody thinking that I would do that to somebody when so many people have suffered from cancer.” While the Coto Insurance CEO didn't elaborate further on her diagnosis, she did admit she was "going through a f—king tough time right now." "I do not need anybody bringing me down," Gunvalson added. Last month, the "Whoop It Up with Vicki" podcast host made headlines when she announced her split from ex-fiancé Steve Lodge shortly after Judge, 54, seemingly hinted that the 62-year-old had been unfaithful.
