Since Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were first spotted spending time together in October 2021, fans couldn’t help but wonder what’s really going on between the duo. The Skims founder and the Saturday Night Live star first turned heads when they were photographed holding hands on a roller-coaster ride at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, shortly before Halloween. The pair visited the theme park with other people, including Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé, Travis Barker, but their cozy moment still made headlines. "Kim and Pete seemed like good friends," an eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time, adding that several security guards accompanied the group on the trip. "Kim seemed very chill. It did seem like she was trying to hide.” The pairing came as a surprise to fans of both the comedian and the KKW Beauty mogul, but they do share many friends and acquaintances in common. Davidson is BFFs with Machine Gun Kelly, who is close to Barker, and Kelly’s girlfriend, Megan Fox, is friendly with Kourtney. (The latter duo teamed up for a racy Skims ad campaign in September 2021.) Perhaps their biggest person in common, however, is Kim’s estranged husband, Kanye West, who often collaborates with Davidson’s pal Kid Cudi. Back in 2019, the comedian went to a birthday dinner for the “Pursuit of Happiness” rapper that the couple affectionately known as Kimye also attended. The Selfish author filed for divorce from the Grammy winner in February 2021 following six years of marriage. The pair share four children: North (born in June 2013), Saint (born in December 2015), Chicago (born in January 2018) and Psalm (born in May 2019). Until she was spotted with Davidson, Kim hadn’t been publicly linked to anyone since she announced her split from West. In June 2021, a source told Us that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum wasn’t yet ready to put herself out there again. "She's not focused on dating at the moment but actually worries that guys will not want to date her because of how public her relationship was with Kanye," the insider explained at the time. "She also knows how hard it is to build trust with someone so she thinks it's going to take time before letting someone into her private life.” The King of Staten Island actor, for his part, called it quits with Phoebe Dynevor in August 2021 after five months of dating. "The distance put a strain on the relationship and it made it hard to maintain," a source told Us of the split. The Bachelor season 23 winner has been sending her ex-fiancé, Peter Weber, a message after their breakup. The model and the pilot got engaged during the finale of the Bachelor, which taped in November 2019. Two months later, however, Peter admitted that he still had feelings for Madison Prewett, who quit the show during the final week. While they split in January 2020, fans watched their breakup air in March 2020. "All I've ever asked for is someone to give me my whole heart like I'm giving to them," she told Peter during their split. "You took away from me my first engagement. You took that away from me because I trusted you, and that's what you continued to ask me to do." The twosome subsequently reunited on the live After the Final Rose special, which aired on March 10, 2020. "I should've really picked up on the first red flag you gave me — that you wanted to reach out to Hannah Brown to find closure with her," she quipped at the time. Selena Gomez has spoken candidly about her struggles with mental health over the years. The singer first sought treatment in 2014 after she was diagnosed with lupus. She has since attended various voluntary programs to manage anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Nine months after she completed treatment in January 2018, Us Weekly confirmed she was seeking "opened-ended" mental health treatment. In April 2020, the Getaway star revealed that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. “It doesn’t scare me once I know it,” she told Miley Cyrus in an episode of the latter’s “Bright Minded” Instagram series. “I think people get scared of that, right?” The Rare Beauty founder has also used her platform to raise awareness about mental health, both by hosting conversations with experts and shedding light on various issues through her projects. From 2017 to 2020, she served as an executive producer on the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, which sparked many discussions about the struggles contemporary teens and young adults face. "This is happening every day," Gomez said during an Elvis Duran and the Morning Show interview in 2017, referring to the show’s serious themes. "Whether or not you wanted to see it, that's what's happening. The content is complicated. It's dark and it has moments that are honestly very hard to swallow, and I understood that we were doing something that is difficult.” During the coronavirus pandemic, which brought mental health to the forefront for people all over the world, the “Bad Liar” songstress continued to speak out about the importance of checking in with your emotions. "In the beginning I couldn't deal with it that well," she said, discussing the early months of quarantine. "Batsheva and Ben are getting divorced," a source tells Us, noting that the 28-year-old social media influencer has been "living" at mom Julia Haart's house "the last few weeks." The insider adds that their relationship fizzled. "People change and shift, that's what happened here. They made a loving decision to separate," the source says. Netflix viewers met the Haart family when season 1 of My Unorthodox Life started streaming earlier this year. While the show centered around Julia's life and fashion brand following her exit from her former ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, Batsheva's relationship with Weinstein was also a story line. The twosome, who wed in 2012 shortly after they graduated high school, argued over the boundaries of their new life in New York City as they distanced themselves from their religion. They also struggled with when to start a family as Batsheva wasn't ready and Weinstein was eager to have kids. During an August YouTube video, both Batsheva and Weinstein, who quietly marked nine years of marriage in October, admitted that they wouldn't "recommend" getting married at such a young age. “I don’t regret getting married young because who I married, but I would not recommend getting married young,” he said. The Bachelor season 24 winner has made it clear that she has no regrets about her split from Peter Weber after Hannah Brown revealed details of their secret hookup. In Brown's upcoming memoir, God Bless This Mess, she writes about reconnecting with Weber while his season of The Bachelor was airing in early 2020. After ending his brief engagement to Sluss, 25, in late January, the pilot, 30, had sex with Brown, 27, at his parents' house after Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin's engagement party on February 22, 2020. After the revelation started making headlines on Wednesday, November 17, Sluss took to TikTok to lip-sync to the sound: "That was embarrassing. I really hope you're embarrassed. Wow." The clip included the words, "When the tea officially spills…"

During the Thursday, November 18, episode of his “Bachelors in the City” podcast, the 30-year-old recounted his version of the hookup, which took place after a February 2020 engagement party for Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin. “We spent the night with each other, and that was it,” Weber said in Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip, adding that Bachelor producers initially asked him not to go to the party because his season was still airing at the time. “That was the last time that I saw her physically,” he noted. “I agree with what she said,” the children’s book author added before acknowledging that their spark was gone. “It wasn’t the same as I think we had originally felt. But, nonetheless, it was great to talk and just have someone that kind of understood where I was coming from.” The Alabama native, 27, revealed the secret hookup in her upcoming book, God Bless This Mess. It was love at first sight when Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met in October 2016 on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video. "I was excited that I [would] get to meet one of the biggest artists of all time," the personal trainer recalled to Men's Health in July 2018. "I had butterflies." But when Asghari tried to break the ice, he almost ruined his chances with the Grammy winner. "She said, 'Hi, I'm Britney,' and I said, 'I'm sorry, what's your name again?'" he told the magazine. "I tried to be funny. I don't think anybody got it." Fortunately, Spears was charmed by the fitness model and they started chatting about one of their favorite foods, sushi. They continued to talk throughout the shoot and exchanged phone numbers by the end so that they could set up a proper first date. And the rest, as they say, was history. "I found his number in my bag. I was like, 'He is really cute. This guy is really cute,'" the Princess of Pop recounted during a January 2017 radio interview.  Jeremy Renner and his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, split nearly seven years ago, but their relationship is still a point of contention. Speaking about the couple’s messy custody battle, the American Hustle actor, 50, derided his ex’s claims that he abused her without addressing any specific details. "I don't respond publicly or privately to nonsense," he told Men’s Health in an interview published on Wednesday, November 17. "It only empowers it. … If you respond to it, you give it gas. I don't fuel s—t fires. I just don't do it. I refuse to." The Oscar nominee and the actress, 30, split in December 2014 after less than one year of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in 2015, but the duo spent years fighting over custody of their daughter, Ava, now 8. In 2019, Pacheco claimed that Renner threatened to kill her and himself the previous year, per court documents obtained at the time by TMZ. The model also alleged that the Hawkeye actor had a history of verbal, emotional and substance abuse. “The well-being of his daughter, Ava, has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy,” a representative for Renner told Us Weekly at the time. “This is a matter for the court to decide. It's important to note the dramatizations made in Sonni's declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind." In March 2020, Pacheco slammed Renner’s request to lower his child support payments after he claimed in court docs that the coronavirus pandemic had impacted his earnings. "It is very disheartening that, in a time of global crisis, there is yet another attempt to reduce funds I rely on to provide for our child," she said at the time. Later that year, however, the California native accused his ex of misusing money from Ava’s trust fund. In court documents obtained by Us in 2020, Renner’s team alleged that Pacheco removed more than $50,000 from the fund in less than two years and used them “for her own personal benefit.” Pacheco denied the allegations in a statement. "I am sick of being continually bullied, having my name slandered, and the truth muted," she told Us in May 2020. "Anyone who is a parent knows that the most important thing in the world is their child's health and safety. Over the years, it's hard to fathom what I've seen and what people have told me they've seen in regards to Jeremy's disturbing actions while our child is in his care." |

| Rapper Young Dolph Shot and Killed at Age 36 Posted: 17 Nov 2021 01:03 PM PST Young Dolph was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee, on Wednesday, November 17, Us Weekly can confirm. He was 36. “The West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center in Memphis has received notification of the reported death of Adolph Thornton, Jr. and is currently investigating," director of the West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center Benjamin J. Figura, PhD, D-ABFA, told Us on Wednesday in a statement. (The center is managed by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.) The "Aspen" rapper walked into Makeda's Butter Cookies on Wednesday to buy cookies when someone drove up and shot him, the shop's owner, Maurice Hill, told Fox13 after the incident. Hill recalled the shooting taking place around 1 p.m. CT.
The Memphis Police Department previously confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday that officers pronounced a male victim dead at the scene. Young Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was born in Chicago but his family moved to Memphis when he was 2 years old. He rose to fame in 2016 after the release of his debut album, King of Memphis. The record peaked at No. 49 on the Billboard 200 chart. The "Blue Diamond" rapper was later featured on O.T. Genasis‘ single "Cut It," which rose to No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. He has since released six more albums, including 2017's Bulletproof, 2020's Rich Slave and 2021's Dum and Dummer 2. Dolph, who was well-known in the Memphis community, was previously involved in two shootings in 2017 after surviving a drive-by shooting back in 2008. The "Get Paid" musician was shot several times outside the Lowes Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles and was struck with three bullets in September 2017. He was able to escape to a nearby retail store, Shoe Palace, and call 911, USA Today reported at the time. Dolph was hospitalized for several weeks in 2017. While a suspect was arrested for attempted murder that same month, he was later released without any charges. The suspect, Corey McClendon, had ties to Yo Gotti, who reportedly had an ongoing feud with Dolph that dates back to 2014. Gotti was never charged with anything in relation to the crime. Earlier that year, an SUV attached to Dolph was shot dozens of times in Charlotte, North Carolina. As many as 100 bullets were fired into the vehicle, which was bulletproof, so Dolph escaped unharmed. In May 2017, Blac Youngsta was one of three men charged with discharging a weapon and felony conspiracy in connection with the shooting, USA Today reported. The incident was believed to be part of an ongoing rivalry between the two rappers. Dolph is survived by two children, son Tre Tre and daughter Aria Ella, whom he shares with on-again, off-again girlfriend, Mia Jaye. |
