I filled [a gallon-sized bucket] with water, fresh cranberries, star anise, and a little bit of holiday greenery that you can trim off your tree," he explained. "Then I put an empty bottle in it and freeze it. Use a little bit of warm water to get the bottle and the ice bucket out.” Think Outside the Box Instead of traditional napkin rings, the decor guru uses inexpensive faux diamond bracelets around the napkins and as an added bonus, your guests can take them home as a party favor. For place cards, Addison placed mini bottles of Freixenet at each table setting. Their black matte bottles are perfect for writing holiday sayings or your guests' names with a metallic marker. Bachelorette Katie Thurston and John Hersey packed on the PDA in a new video after Us Weekly confirmed their romance. Hersey, 27, shared a video made of clips starring him and Thurston, 30, being very affectionate on Tuesday, November 23. The TikTok video, set to Mina Okabe‘s “Every Second,” showed Hersey giving the former Bachelor contestant a piggyback ride as she gave him a peck on the cheek. Later, Hersey also showered her with hugs and kisses. “I really like it here,” Hersey captioned the TikTok. “Me too,” Thurston replied in the comments section.
The video came hours after Us broke the news that the reality TV alums are dating. They met on season 17 of ABC’s The Bachelorette, which aired earlier this year, but Thurston sent Hersey home in week two. Blake Moynes won the competition for Thurston’s heart, and the two got engaged in the finale, which aired in August. They announced their split last month. "It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways," the pair wrote via Instagram in a joint statement at the time. "We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently." "The past few years of Kim's life have been super intense a lot of the time, so this is a real positive transition for her,” the insider says of the Skims founder, 41, and the Saturday Night Live star, 28. “She's learning to move past day-to-day stresses and focus on the fun and sexy things.” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum was first spotted with the comedian in late October when they visited a California theme park with Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé, Travis Barker, shortly after her SNL hosting debut. A few days later, the KKW Beauty mogul and the New York native had dinner together two nights in a row on the East Coast. More recently, the twosome raised eyebrows after Davidson was photographed with a bruise on his neck that many social media users assumed was a hickey during a romantic dinner with Kim. Clare Crawley and Jeff Dye haven't put a label on their romance after being spotted together in early November. “She was set up with Jeff since they have mutual friends," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. "Clare agreed to go on the date because she thought he was handsome." The 38-year-old comedian "certainly has a type," the insider says, noting Dye was “into" 40-year-old Crawley after spending time with her earlier this month. "They went on a date [to] a Lakers game early November," the source explains, adding that the former Bachelorette and Dye "met for coffee" while he was doing standup comedy shows in San Diego after the basketball date. The Sacramento, California, native, who was previously engaged to Dale Moss after meeting on season 16 of the ABC series in 2020, is "still talking" to Dye, per the insider. "They live in two different cities, so it’s nothing serious," the source adds. A second source tells Us, "They're just friends." Us confirmed in September that the hairstylist and Moss, 33, split for a second time. The pair, who met in November 2020, got engaged after two weeks of filming the series. They broke up in January but reconciled the following month. The twosome confirmed things were over for good seven months later, with Crawley breaking her silence over the split in late September. "I'm choosing not to speak right now on the details of my relationship, because at the end of the day anyone can put on an ACT or throw words together to form any narrative they want," she wrote via Instagram at the time. "What I will speak on is emotionally and physically I'm going through a lot with healing from my recent [breast implant removal] surgery still, and my mother being placed on hospice care now. So my energy is focused on grieving, healing, and being present at home here in Sacramento while trying to share and help others going through similar life experiences as I'm sharing today." Since the separation, Crawley has been "going on dates" and has "completely moved on from Dale," the source tells Us. The Bachelor Winter Games alum — who was briefly engaged to Benoit Beauséjour-Savard from February 2018 to April 2018 — is "a hopeless romantic and isn’t giving up on finding The One," the insider says, noting Crawley has "met some guys on her own" and has also been set up by friends. "She’s been finding quality guys in Sacramento and is hopeful," the source adds. "Her family and close friends just want her to be happy and think she deserves much better than her last relationship.” Dye, for his part, was linked to Kristin Cavallari in October 2020 after her split from husband Jay Cutler six months prior. | General Hospital’s Steve Burton Was Fired Over Vaccine Mandates Posted: 23 Nov 2021 03:43 PM PST General Hospital's Steve Burton, who has played Jason Morgan on and off since 1991, is leaving the ABC soap opera after deciding not to get vaccinated. On Tuesday, November 23, the 51-year-old actor explained that he had been fired by the series, which debuted in 1963, for not complying with the show's COVID-19 vaccine mandates. "Well, I know there's a lot of rumors and speculation about me and General Hospital, and I wanted you to hear it from me personally," he said via Instagram video. "Unfortunately, General Hospital has let me go because of the vaccine mandate." The network later confirmed that Burton was dismissed for his inability to comply with their vaccine policy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His last day was October 27. In his video, the Indiana native explained that he "did apply for my medical and religious exemptions, and both of those were denied, which, you know, hurts," he said. "But this is also about personal freedom to me." Burton noted that he'll "always be grateful" for the show that gave him his start. "I love it there, I grew up there, I grew up with some of you," he told fans in the clip. The Young and the Restless alum is hopeful that this is not the end of his time on the long-running series. "Maybe one day if these mandates are lifted, I can return and finish my career as Jason Morgan," he said. "That would be an honor."  Burton had tested positive for COVID-19 in August, saying at the time via Instagram that he had been "exposed at work," but was asymptomatic. That same month, fellow General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahan called on the SAG-AFTRA union to address the issue of working "on a set with unmasked, unvaccinated actors." Her August 8 tweet reportedly led to General Hospital's decision to implement a vaccine mandate, making it the only daytime soap opera to do so. Burton's departure comes two weeks after his costar Ingo Rademacher, who played Jasper "Jax" Jacks on GH, was also fired for refusing to get the vaccine. "His separation from General Hospital was prior to today and was because he declined to comply with the production's vaccine mandate," a source told Us on November 8. The German-born actor, 50, had been outspoken on social media about his opposition to vaccine requirements. "I will stand with you to fight for medical freedom," he wrote via Instagram on November 7, adding the hashtag “no mandates.” Prior to his firing, the Alex Cross star was called out for a transphobic tweet, which he later apologized for. Fans questioned Dean McDermott‘s whereabouts after he was missing from his family’s holiday card — and it looks like they got an unexpected answer. McDermott, 55, was photographed appearing to have a fistfight with an opponent while playing hockey at a Los Angeles ice rink on Monday, November 22. According to pics posted by Page Six one day later, the duo had their helmets and knee pads on when the altercation occurred. While the Slasher alum was at the hockey game, his wife, Tori Spelling, addressed why he didn’t appear in a holiday photo shoot with their children. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 48, raised eyebrows when she posted a family photo on Monday with only the duo’s kids: Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 10, Finn, 9, and Beau, 4. "It's that time again. And it's a winter wonderland at my house," Spelling captioned the Simply to Impress sponsored post. "This is a card our friends and family will The card’s inscription read, "With Love, from our farm to your home! Xoxo, Tori & Family." The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and her husband, Dean McDermott, have been making headlines since their scandalous start. The two actors met on set of Lifetime's Mind Over Murder in 2005, a year after Spelling married her first husband, Charlie Shanian. McDermott, for his part, had been married to Mary Jo Eustace, with whom he shares son Jack, for more than a decade when he met Spelling. "It was love at first sight. I fell so hard … Then I noticed he had a wedding ring," Spelling wrote in her 2009 memoir, sTORI Telling, about meeting McDermott. "When someone asked, he pulled out photos of his children. And — oh, yeah — I had a husband too. It was fun to flirt, but I knew nothing would happen … But: Dean and I went to a bar after dinner. And we spent the night at the Cartier Place. The following day when I woke up next to Dean, I had no regrets. Something was really wrong with my marriage. Not only because I slept with this guy — though that certainly wasn't a positive sign — but because I didn't regret it." Less than a year after they met, Spelling and McDermott eloped in Fiji. It didn't take long for them to start a family either; the duo welcomed their son Liam in March 2007. The same month that the twosome became parents, they also became reality TV stars. Oxygen's Tori and Dean: Inn Love followed the couple as they renovated a bed & breakfast titled Chateau La Rue for two seasons. Putting the hotel business behind them, the series was later renamed Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. Spelling welcomed the duo's eldest daughter, Stella, during season 3, which aired in 2008. As Spelling and McDermott continued to document their lives, their family also grew. They became parents for the third time — to daughter Hattie — in October 2011. As for Thurston, 30, she also knows what it is like to date in the spotlight after starring on The Bachelorette earlier this year. A fan recently asked her via DM to "label ur contestants as songs on red," and after an overwhelming majority agreed in a November 11 Instagram Story poll that she should do it, she began her "12 Days of Messy" challenge. The reality star weathered her fair share of ups and downs while on the ABC show. Michael Allio left ahead of the hometown dates because of his son. He revealed during the Men Tell All in July that he would like to give the relationship another shot, but Thurston shot him down at the time. Greg Grippo then exited after his hometown date and a blowup fight with the former bank marketing manager. | Blake Moynes 'Blindsided' by Katie Thurston's Relationship With John Hersey Posted: 23 Nov 2021 02:00 PM PST Bachelor Nation fans weren’t the only ones in for a shock when Us Weekly confirmed Katie Thurston‘s new romance with John Hersey — Blake Moynes wasn’t expecting it either. “Blake is blindsided by the news,” a source exclusively tells Us about Moynes, 31, finding out about his ex-fiancée’s relationship status. Although the wildlife manager recently unfollowed Thurston, 30, he has yet to publicly address the news. Meanwhile, his mother, Emily Moynes, made her opinion clear when she “liked” a comment on Tuesday, November 23, from a fan that read, “Nah this is terrible on Katie's part. I feel truly sorry for Blake. In any relationship, you put a sense of ‘trust’ in one another, especially long-distance relationships. There's no denying the dishonesty and deception for months upon months.” Thurston fueled romance rumors with Hersey, 27, when she dedicated Taylor Swift‘s “Begin Again” to the contestant who she sent home during week two on her season of The Bachelorette. The post, which came on the final day of her "12 Days of Messy" challenge, highlighted the pair’s moments on and off the ABC series. Viewers originally rooted for Thurston and Blake during season 17 of The Bachelorette after the Canada native previously appeared on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams‘ season in 2020. As Blake crashed the season to try to win the Washington native over, she revealed that they actually had contact with one another before. "I definitely knew who he was, which also Tayshia’s ex-boyfriend! So that's weird," the former bank marketing manager exclusively told Us in June about Blake sliding into her DMs. "We had chatted before, but usually what happens is, like, the guys will reach out to the women once they're eliminated and be like, 'Good luck, you did great.' Like, very generic, you know? And so to see him, I was like, 'Why is he here?' Like, 'What's happening?'" After Blake popped the question in the August finale, Thurston gushed about leaving the reality series with her first choice. "I think everyone can agree that this is exactly who I was supposed to be with," she said during the After the Final Rose special at the time. "He fought to be here for me and chose to stay even when I'm telling him to his face that I considered leaving. That he was confident enough to hold both of us till the end, I'm just so lucky. I love him so much." Blake, for his part, shared the twosome’s plans to travel the world together before settling down. "We need to see each other’s lifestyles and our passions, our interests, and then try to see where our anchor spot will be, where all those things can kind of align and make sense for both of us," he told Us in August. "We’re going to jump around for a bit and experience what works best for us." Two months after their proposal aired, the duo issued a joint statement confirming their split. “It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently,” Thurston and Blake captioned their identical posts via Instagram in October. “We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.” Blake later offered fans a glimpse at his healing process. "When times are really tough and things just aren't going the way you had hoped … it's always the same ‘gang’ that gets ya back on your feet," he wrote via Instagram earlier this month. Tori Spelling turned heads when she shared another festive post about the Christmas season without any mention of husband Dean McDermott amid split rumors. "Let's talk holiday decorating! The kids and I are in The first photo shows "whimsical wintery" characters, including a snowman, reindeer and penguins, on the traditional decorations. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum held up a stocking with her name on it while standing next to ones with her five children's — Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 9, Finn, 8, and Beau, 4 — names hanging from the fireplace. Spelling shined a spotlight on a second design, the "timeless traditional snowflakes," in her second snap. Again, the actress held onto a stocking with her name on it while her kids' colorful items hung below a garland-adorned mantel. McDermott, 55, doesn't appear to have a stocking in either photo. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to comment on the Open Range actor's absence, with one writing, "Where is Deans?" Another user asked, "No hubby??" while a third fan pointed out that "Geez Dean doesn't get a stocking, either? One day prior, Spelling raised eyebrows when she shared her family's holiday card, which featured all five kids, their farm animals and the BH90210 alum. McDermott again was not in the mix. In fact, Spelling signed the card, "With Love, from our farm to your home! Xoxo, Tori & Family," leading some fans to think they were broken up. The sTORI Telling author, however, seemingly shut down split speculation on Monday, November 22, after one fan joked that McDermott "must be 'working' out of town" to have missed the annual Christmas photo. "Fact: @imdeanmcdermott was filming his new feature film in Canada," Spelling replied. While some fans couldn't stop hinting at the possible trouble between Spelling and McDermott, other users complimented the actress for her creativity. | Katie Thurston and John Hersey's Timeline: 'Bachelorette,' Blake and Beyond Posted: 23 Nov 2021 12:25 PM PST Even Katie Thurston didn't know what she was promising when she declared her Bachelorette ending was a "first" for the franchise. After appearing on season 25 of The Bachelor, which aired in early 2021, ABC named the Washington native their season 17 star. She subsequently started filming in Palm Springs and met 30 contestants, including bartender John Hersey. She sent the California native home during week two of the competition. Blake Moynes, who originally competed on season 16 of The Bachelorette in 2020, joined the cast when there were 14 men remaining. The Canada native admitted that he reached out to Thurston while Matt James' season was airing and felt like they would have a connection. After two of Thurston's top four quit — Greg Grippo and Michael Allio — she gave Moynes her final rose, sending home Justin Glaze. Thurston and Moynes' proposal aired on the August 2021 finale of The Bachelorette. The twosome told Us Weekly at the time that they weren't in a rush to move in together as they navigated their post-show future. By October, she admitted to Us that the twosome were "winging" things as Moynes traveled to Africa for work. "The short version is we're figuring it out. We don't know. This is very new to us still. I'm just focusing on myself, he's focusing on him, and if we work doing that, great. If not —” Thurston told Us before trailing off backstage at Whitney Cummings' comedy show. Days after the performance, Thurston and Moynes announced their engagement was over.
