PDA Alert! John Hersey Confirms Katie Thurston Romance With Sweet Video Posted: 24 Nov 2021 07:34 AM PST ![]() Taking their romance public! Bachelorette Katie Thurston and John Hersey packed on the PDA in a new video after Us Weekly confirmed their romance. Hersey, 27, shared a video made of clips starring him and Thurston, 30, being very affectionate on Tuesday, November 23. The TikTok video, set to Mina Okabe‘s “Every Second,” showed Hersey giving the former Bachelor contestant a piggyback ride as she gave him a peck on the cheek. Later, Hersey also showered her with hugs and kisses. “I really like it here,” Hersey captioned the TikTok. “Me too,” Thurston replied in the comments section.
The video came hours after Us broke the news that the reality TV alums are dating. They met on season 17 of ABC’s The Bachelorette, which aired earlier this year, but Thurston sent Hersey home in week two. Blake Moynes won the competition for Thurston’s heart, and the two got engaged in the finale, which aired in August. They announced their split last month. "It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways," the pair wrote via Instagram in a joint statement at the time. "We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently." In November, the former bank marketing manager started her "12 Days of Messy" challenge, dedicating Taylor Swift song to the Bachelor Nation men in her life. On the final day, Tuesday, November 23, she revealed her relationship with the California native by dedicating Taylor Swift's "Begin Again" — a song about finding love after a tough breakup — to Hersey. Us exclusively confirmed that the pair will attend their mutual friend Stephen Lovegrove's First Noelle Ball on December 2 as their first public outing. "Blake is blindsided by the news," a source exclusively told Us about the wildlife manager, 31, after his ex announced her new romance. Moynes unfollowed Thurston on Instagram on Tuesday. Meanwhile, his mother, Emily Moynes, made her opinion public when she "liked" a negative comment about the former Bachelorette on Tuesday, which read: "Nah this is terrible on Katie's part. I feel truly sorry for Blake. In any relationship, you put a sense of 'trust' in one another, especially long-distance relationships. There's no denying the dishonesty and deception for months upon months." |
Inside Kim K.'s 'Positive' Romance With Pete Davidson After Kanye Split Posted: 24 Nov 2021 06:00 AM PST Taking it easy. Kim Kardashian‘s relationship with Pete Davidson is helping her learn how to relax, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. "The past few years of Kim's life have been super intense a lot of the time, so this is a real positive transition for her,” the insider says of the Skims founder, 41, and the Saturday Night Live star, 28. “She's learning to move past day-to-day stresses and focus on the fun and sexy things.” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum was first spotted with the comedian in late October when they visited a California theme park with Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé, Travis Barker, shortly after her SNL hosting debut. A few days later, the KKW Beauty mogul and the New York native had dinner together two nights in a row on the East Coast. More recently, the twosome raised eyebrows after Davidson was photographed with a bruise on his neck that many social media users assumed was a hickey during a romantic dinner with Kim. The pics came less than one week after the duo confirmed their romance by walking hand in hand in Palm Springs, California, after celebrating the Meet Cute actor’s birthday together. "Kim lights up when she's around Pete," a source exclusively told Us earlier this month. "Their chemistry is off the charts and getting stronger each passing day." The Selfish author is still hammering out the details of her split from her husband of six years, Kanye West, after filing for divorce in February. The duo share four children: North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2. The rapper, 44, and his estranged wife have collaborated several times since their breakup, but West recently claimed that he never received divorce papers. “My kids want their parents to stay together,” he said during the November 5 episode of the “Drink Champs” podcast. “I want their parents — I want us to be together." Davidson, for his part, has dated a series of high-profile women, including Phoebe Dynevor, Kate Beckinsale and Margaret Qualley. He was briefly engaged to Ariana Grande in 2018. Some of Kim’s friends and family were “cautious” about her new romance because of the Guy Code alum’s reputation, the first insider adds, noting that “a few of them still are, mainly because they're so protective of her.” Davidson’s past doesn’t seem to be a problem for the reality star, however, who has been having a blast with her new man. “It's hard to ignore how happy she is,” the source tells Us. “And that's all that really matters." For more on Kim’s romance with Davidson, watch the video above and look for the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now. |

Three months later, however, Fuller confirmed that the twosome went their separate ways. “I’m not moving to Iowa anytime soon, so I just want to focus on me. It’s been so much about other people this year, that I just really want to hone in on what I want to accomplish,” she said on the “Viall Files” in September 2020. “I still talk to him all the time. Keeping It Casual! Inside Clare Crawley and Jeff Dye’s Low-Key Romance Posted: 23 Nov 2021 04:57 PM PST ![]() Keeping things casual! Clare Crawley and Jeff Dye haven't put a label on their romance after being spotted together in early November. “She was set up with Jeff since they have mutual friends," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. "Clare agreed to go on the date because she thought he was handsome." The 38-year-old comedian "certainly has a type," the insider says, noting Dye was “into" 40-year-old Crawley after spending time with her earlier this month. "They went on a date [to] a Lakers game early November," the source explains, adding that the former Bachelorette and Dye "met for coffee" while he was doing standup comedy shows in San Diego after the basketball date. The Sacramento, California, native, who was previously engaged to Dale Moss after meeting on season 16 of the ABC series in 2020, is "still talking" to Dye, per the insider. "They live in two different cities, so it’s nothing serious," the source adds. A second source tells Us, "They're just friends." Us confirmed in September that the hairstylist and Moss, 33, split for a second time. The pair, who met in November 2020, got engaged after two weeks of filming the series. They broke up in January but reconciled the following month. The twosome confirmed things were over for good seven months later, with Crawley breaking her silence over the split in late September. "I'm choosing not to speak right now on the details of my relationship, because at the end of the day anyone can put on an ACT or throw words together to form any narrative they want," she wrote via Instagram at the time. "What I will speak on is emotionally and physically I'm going through a lot with healing from my recent [breast implant removal] surgery still, and my mother being placed on hospice care now. So my energy is focused on grieving, healing, and being present at home here in Sacramento while trying to share and help others going through similar life experiences as I'm sharing today." Since the separation, Crawley has been "going on dates" and has "completely moved on from Dale," the source tells Us. The Bachelor Winter Games alum — who was briefly engaged to Benoit Beauséjour-Savard from February 2018 to April 2018 — is "a hopeless romantic and isn’t giving up on finding The One," the insider says, noting Crawley has "met some guys on her own" and has also been set up by friends. "She’s been finding quality guys in Sacramento and is hopeful," the source adds. "Her family and close friends just want her to be happy and think she deserves much better than her last relationship.” Dye, for his part, was linked to Kristin Cavallari in October 2020 after her split from husband Jay Cutler six months prior. Us confirmed in March that the Laguna Beach alum, 34, and Dye had pulled the plug on their casual romance after five months. With reporting by Diana Cooper |
General Hospital’s Steve Burton Was Fired Over Vaccine Mandates Posted: 23 Nov 2021 03:43 PM PST General Hospital's Steve Burton, who has played Jason Morgan on and off since 1991, is leaving the ABC soap opera after deciding not to get vaccinated. On Tuesday, November 23, the 51-year-old actor explained that he had been fired by the series, which debuted in 1963, for not complying with the show's COVID-19 vaccine mandates. "Well, I know there's a lot of rumors and speculation about me and General Hospital, and I wanted you to hear it from me personally," he said via Instagram video. "Unfortunately, General Hospital has let me go because of the vaccine mandate." The network later confirmed that Burton was dismissed for his inability to comply with their vaccine policy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His last day was October 27. In his video, the Indiana native explained that he "did apply for my medical and religious exemptions, and both of those were denied, which, you know, hurts," he said. "But this is also about personal freedom to me." Burton noted that he'll "always be grateful" for the show that gave him his start. "I love it there, I grew up there, I grew up with some of you," he told fans in the clip. The Young and the Restless alum is hopeful that this is not the end of his time on the long-running series. "Maybe one day if these mandates are lifted, I can return and finish my career as Jason Morgan," he said. "That would be an honor." ![]() Burton had tested positive for COVID-19 in August, saying at the time via Instagram that he had been "exposed at work," but was asymptomatic. That same month, fellow General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahan called on the SAG-AFTRA union to address the issue of working "on a set with unmasked, unvaccinated actors." Her August 8 tweet reportedly led to General Hospital's decision to implement a vaccine mandate, making it the only daytime soap opera to do so. Burton's departure comes two weeks after his costar Ingo Rademacher, who played Jasper "Jax" Jacks on GH, was also fired for refusing to get the vaccine. "His separation from General Hospital was prior to today and was because he declined to comply with the production's vaccine mandate," a source told Us on November 8. The German-born actor, 50, had been outspoken on social media about his opposition to vaccine requirements. "I will stand with you to fight for medical freedom," he wrote via Instagram on November 7, adding the hashtag “no mandates.” Prior to his firing, the Alex Cross star was called out for a transphobic tweet, which he later apologized for. Rademacher's final episode aired on Monday, November 22. Burton said he is unsure when his final episode will air. |
Dean McDermott Gets Into a Fistfight Amid Tori Spelling Split Rumors Posted: 23 Nov 2021 02:44 PM PST An icy situation! Fans questioned Dean McDermott‘s whereabouts after he was missing from his family’s holiday card — and it looks like they got an unexpected answer. McDermott, 55, was photographed appearing to have a fistfight with an opponent while playing hockey at a Los Angeles ice rink on Monday, November 22. According to pics posted by Page Six one day later, the duo had their helmets and knee pads on when the altercation occurred. While the Slasher alum was at the hockey game, his wife, Tori Spelling, addressed why he didn’t appear in a holiday photo shoot with their children. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 48, raised eyebrows when she posted a family photo on Monday with only the duo’s kids: Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 10, Finn, 9, and Beau, 4. "It's that time again. And it's a winter wonderland at my house," Spelling captioned the Simply to Impress sponsored post. "This is a card our friends and family will The card’s inscription read, "With Love, from our farm to your home! Xoxo, Tori & Family." One fan pointed out McDermott’s glaring absence, commenting, "Dean must be 'working' out of town and couldn't get home in time for the annual Christmas picture," to which the actress wrote back, "Fact: @imdeanmcdermott was filming his new feature film in Canada." Spelling and McDermott previously sparked breakup rumors in June when the former Masked Singer contestant admitted that she no longer shared the same bed as her husband. “Right now, my kids and dogs sleep in my bed,” she told Jeff Lewis during an appearance on his SiriusXM radio show at the time, clarifying that the shift came from the Due South alum’s work schedule. "Since he left — this is not good, you guys — but since he left [and] he was gone for six months filming in another country, [our kids] all stayed with me.” McDermott, for his part, later explained that he wasn’t looking to discuss the speculation about his marriage with the public. “I don’t reply, you know, anymore,” he shared during a September episode of the “Feminine Warrior” podcast. “It’s just like, ‘OK, if that’s what you want to think, then think it.'” At the time, the Canada native attempted to set the record straight after he was spotted without his wedding ring on. “I had a silicone utility ring that I took off when I was playing golf, and I put it in my pocket,” he explained at the time. “And when I take my glove out, it fell out on the golf course. So, I lost my utility ring and then somebody saw that. ‘He doesn’t have his ring.’ So, now, everybody’s in a titter, so I’m like, ‘Forget it, I’m not going to replace it. Just let them think it.'” One month later, Spelling was spotted outside of a lawyer’s office holding papers that including notes about “assets,” “support” and “custody.” As the photos sparked more questions about the pair’s status, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the Stori Telling author “wants a divorce, but she feels trapped right now.” According to the insider, Spelling and McDermott "constantly fight and break up," but the Scary Movie 2 actress has tried to salvage her marriage "for the kids." |
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's Ups and Downs Posted: 23 Nov 2021 02:39 PM PST Donna Martin's onscreen drama has nothing on Tori Spelling's real life. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and her husband, Dean McDermott, have been making headlines since their scandalous start. The two actors met on set of Lifetime's Mind Over Murder in 2005, a year after Spelling married her first husband, Charlie Shanian. McDermott, for his part, had been married to Mary Jo Eustace, with whom he shares son Jack, for more than a decade when he met Spelling. "It was love at first sight. I fell so hard … Then I noticed he had a wedding ring," Spelling wrote in her 2009 memoir, sTORI Telling, about meeting McDermott. "When someone asked, he pulled out photos of his children. And — oh, yeah — I had a husband too. It was fun to flirt, but I knew nothing would happen … But: Dean and I went to a bar after dinner. And we spent the night at the Cartier Place. The following day when I woke up next to Dean, I had no regrets. Something was really wrong with my marriage. Not only because I slept with this guy — though that certainly wasn't a positive sign — but because I didn't regret it." Less than a year after they met, Spelling and McDermott eloped in Fiji. It didn't take long for them to start a family either; the duo welcomed their son Liam in March 2007. The same month that the twosome became parents, they also became reality TV stars. Oxygen's Tori and Dean: Inn Love followed the couple as they renovated a bed & breakfast titled Chateau La Rue for two seasons. Putting the hotel business behind them, the series was later renamed Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. Spelling welcomed the duo's eldest daughter, Stella, during season 3, which aired in 2008. As Spelling and McDermott continued to document their lives, their family also grew. They became parents for the third time — to daughter Hattie — in October 2011. While the reality TV cameras initially stopped rolling after six seasons, the drama was just getting started. In December 2013, after welcoming their second son, Finn, Us Weekly broke the news that McDermott was unfaithful to Spelling. The pair worked through the aftermath of the affair on a Lifetime series titled True Tori. While health scares and financial woes continued to threaten the couple's happiness, they appeared to be stronger than ever five years after the affair. Spelling told Us in February 2019 that twosome "don't have relationship problems." "We communicate now, I have a voice," she explained. "He probably hears too much of it but he [is so] good at listening. Women like to talk and over-explain." Two years later, however, fans began to wonder whether the pair were on thin ice once again after Spelling revealed in June 2021 that she and her husband were sleeping in different rooms. At the time, a source exclusively told Us that the Hollywood stars were “having major issues for over a year,” adding, “The end could be very near.” Scroll through for a timeline of Spelling and McDermott's ups and downs: ![]() Spelling and McDermott, who were both married to other people, met on the set of a made-for-TV movie in Ottawa, Canada, in July 2005. I loved him and he’d been a friend to me, but I married him because he was a great guy, a guy who took care of me. Charlie didn’t want to hear it,” Spelling wrote. “He kept saying, ‘Where’s all this coming from? We have a perfect relationship.’ Then he turned to me. ‘Did you cheat on me?’ I said yes. He said, ‘It was with Dean, wasn’t it?’ I said yes. He said, ‘I should have known.’” Gregg DeGuire/WireImage ![]() The pair exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Wakaya, Fiji, on May 7, 2006. I was asked a question about my daughter not speaking with my family, and I answered truthfully,” Candy told HuffPost in a statement at the time. ”My husband was very ill, and he had stopped eating and taking liquids. After Spelling shared a photo with her BH90210 costars Jennie Garth and Gabrielle Carteris in bathing suits on location for the Beverly Hills, 90210 quasi-revival in June 2019, McDermott swooped in again. “I love how you haters have private accts!!” he fired back at the time. “Let’s see what you trolls look like ya cowards!!!” Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic ![]() McDermott reflected on the couple overcoming his past indiscretion during an exclusive interview with Us in November 2019. “I thought that Tori was just going to run for the hills, and I could totally understand why,” he told Us. “But she was like, ‘I just can’t turn off the love for you. I love you. You hurt me. I’m angry, but I love you. I can’t turn that off.’” ![]() The couple celebrated 14 years of marriage in May 2020. “My partner in crime and my best friend. You are an amazing papa bear and I love that you always have my back no matter what!” Spelling gushed via Instagram. “Thank you for loving me and I promise I am still fun! YouTube ![]() In June 2021, the “9021OMG” podcast host addressed speculation about her marriage for the first time when pal Jeff Lewis inquired about Spelling wearing her wedding ring again. “What is really going on? You put the wedding ring on. Are things OK?” he asked on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. “Because I feel like the last time you were here things were good, you were having sex. Are you guys sleeping in the same bed?” Spelling revealed that her “kids and dogs sleep in my bed,” adding that McDermott is “in a room” at their home. “Since he left — this is not good, you guys — but since he left [and] he was gone for six months filming in another country, they all stayed with me,” she explained. “So I currently still have four in the bedroom with me who have yet to go back to their rooms, yes.” GAC/MEGA; MEGA ![]() “Tori and Dean have been having major issues for over a year now," a source told Us exclusively in June. "The fact that she’s talking about sleeping in separate beds is very telling. She wouldn’t do that unless things were really not great between them. Courtesy of Lifetime ![]() As speculation about their relationship status continued to spread, McDermott seemingly shut down the divorce rumors during a September 2021 episode of the "Feminine Warrior" podcast. "It's just like, 'OK, if that's what you want to think, then think it,'" he said at the time. Katie Thurston Compares ‘Bachelorette’ Exes to Taylor Swift Songs Posted: 23 Nov 2021 02:34 PM PST Red (Katie's Version). Katie Thurston reminisced about her relationships from season 17 of The Bachelorette while listening to Taylor Swift's new album, Red (Taylor's Version). The Grammy winner, 31, has dealt with plenty of speculation about the inspiration behind the mixture of breakup songs and love songs that make up the record, which was released on Friday, November 12. Many fans believe some of the key tracks — including the new 10-minute version of "All Too Well" — are based on Swift's 2010 romance with Jake Gyllenhaal, though she has never confirmed the theory. Red originally dropped in October 2012 and is the most recent album to be rerecorded by the singer. As for Thurston, 30, she also knows what it is like to date in the spotlight after starring on The Bachelorette earlier this year. A fan recently asked her via DM to "label ur contestants as songs on red," and after an overwhelming majority agreed in a November 11 Instagram Story poll that she should do it, she began her "12 Days of Messy" challenge. The reality star weathered her fair share of ups and downs while on the ABC show. Michael Allio left ahead of the hometown dates because of his son. He revealed during the Men Tell All in July that he would like to give the relationship another shot, but Thurston shot him down at the time. Greg Grippo then exited after his hometown date and a blowup fight with the former bank marketing manager. She lashed out at him during the After the Final Rose special that aired in August, but she later divulged via Twitter that the exes had "spoken privately and moved on." After multiple surprise departures, Thurston got engaged to Blake Moynes during the August finale after he arrived late to her season. However, the pair announced their split in October after trying to make a long-distance relationship work. Despite the public heartbreaks, the Washington native has not stopped searching for The One. "She's still hopeful on finding love but wants to make sure her head is in the right space," a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. "Right now, she's just figuring out what she wants to do in life. In her mind, her future was with Blake, so now she just has to start fresh and figure out her next steps." Thurston chose to celebrate the last day of the challenge by teasing a potential romance with former contestant John Hersey. Following her “Begin Again” dedication to Hersey, who went home during week two, Us broke the news that the couple were dating. ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() The Bachelor alum seemingly teased Planeta, 32, for his religious views — he is waiting for marriage to have sex — by choosing “Holy Ground.” ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() Although Quinn, 26, did not get much screentime on the show, he apparently made an impression on Thurston, who labeled him with “The Last Time.” ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() Thurston hinted that she is open to reconciling with Allio, 37, by picking “I Almost Do,” which is about reconnecting with an ex. ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() For the ninth day in Thurston’s “12 Days of Messy” challenge, she assigned the Nashville native to the songstress’ “Starlight (Taylor’s Version).” ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() To celebrate Day 10 of her social media challenge, Thurston compared the season 17 runner-up to “Sad Beautiful Tragic (Taylor’s Version)." “We had a beautiful magic love there," Swift sings on the Red song. Hannah Brown Says Tyler Cameron Broke Her Heart: I Was 'His Bench Girl' Posted: 23 Nov 2021 02:32 PM PST Talk about an up and down relationship. Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron first met on season 15 of The Bachelorette. While he didn’t win the season — she was briefly engaged to Jed Wyatt after the finale — the pair have stayed in touch since their TV breakup. From the start, Hannah and Tyler had such a strong physical connection — so much so that it worried her. "I feel like our relationship has been so fun, so easy getting to know each other,” the former pageant queen told Tyler during the fantasy suite episode. “But there's a concern for me about our physical relationship. It is a huge part of our relationship. I just am so captivated about being around you, and you holding me and kissing me. I just want that. Like, I do. And so I have to kind of reset myself sometimes and think, OK, that's great. You know that that's there. But it has to be more.” On their final one-on-one date ahead of the last rose ceremony, Hannah admitted how strong she felt. “I am so lucky. I feel so lucky. When I think about a life with Tyler, it's almost like he is that perfect guy. The one that you want to introduce to everybody that you know … I know he would protect me, keep me safe and we would have the sweetest family, cutest little babies,” she shared on the show. “Tyler makes me feel so special and so loved, I don't want him to let go of me. I could see being in his arms forever.” When it came time for the final rose ceremony, the Alabama native crushed the model’s heart. “I am so lucky to be loved by you,” she said. “I love someone else. I'm so sorry.” After the finale — and her split from Jed — aired, the pair made plans to meet, which Tyler assumed would happen. Us editors discuss Colton Underwood’s coming out in this Here for the Right Reasons podcast highlight! "I think that we just both needed to have that time to talk and, you know, just see each other and be there for each other," he said on the "Viall Files" podcast in July. "I think we have a great relationship, you know, and friendship, and that's something that doesn't need to be cut off because that didn't work out. I think that's immature." He also added that the pair had a very strong bond. “We went through a whole lot together. You know, that was a crazy journey to share and experience with somebody," he told Nick Viall. "And I value and cherish our relationship and our friendship and that's something I don't wanna just cut off cold turkey because it didn't work out. … [She's] someone I would hope to have a drink with and see what happens and take it one step at a time.” Scroll through the gallery below for a timeline of the relationship. ![]() From the moment Tyler was introduced, Bachelor Nation was interested in him. He revealed he had a big love for dance, which, of course, won over every viewer. "The things some people do to stay relevant… let our Queen live and let’s embrace her on this journey,” he tweeted. “Very few have a clue what it’s like to be in the leads shoes. Our Queen is imperfectly perfect like us all. Dont Christians claim that only god should do the judging-James 4:12." Bachelor Nation was at a table together, so it was good and it was just overall, it was an amazing experience for me to be able to go to the People’s Choice Awards for the first time, and while I was there to win! And they finally found some time in their schedules to connect.” The source added, however, that thing could change in the future. “Guys and girls can be friends without it being romantic,” the source said. “Could something happen down the line? "I haven't met him but seen pictures of him," Cameron told Entertainment Tonight in February 2021. "Good-looking guy, so I'm happy for her. We want each other to be the best person we can be. The fact that we could easily talk all night was what made me think, Holy s—t, this could be it for me. I was genuinely upset when I saw the sun coming up, because I knew our time together was almost at an end,” he wrote in an exclusive excerpt obtained by Us. “Hannah and I had a meaningful night, without having sex. It was great and, I thought, a perfectly normal thing to do.” ABC/Mark Bourdillon |
Bachelorette's Hannah Brown and BF Adam Woolard's Relationship Timeline Posted: 23 Nov 2021 02:29 PM PST Coming up roses! Hannah Brown may not have found love on The Bachelorette, but her relationship with Adam Woolard has fans rooting for their happily ever after. The former Bachelorette, who looked for love on season 15 of the ABC show, which aired in 2019, was first linked to Woolard in January 2021 after eagle-eyed fans identified him as the mystery man from her Nashville photos the same month. The duo were spotted holding hands days later in Los Angeles, but they didn't confirm the relationship until Valentine's Day the following month. Brown's friend and fellow Bachelor Nation star Matt James did, however, comment on the budding romance in early February 2021, telling Entertainment Tonight that he had met the model already. "I couldn't approve more," James said at the time. "He's incredible." After posting photos with each other on the February holiday, the couple became more public about their romance. In March 2021, the Dancing With the Stars winner did a Q&A on her YouTube channel where she detailed different parts of her and Woolard's life together. "Life tends to assume a flow state when values and purpose are aligned The following month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the relationship is "blossoming" and shows signs of turning into "something serious." The insider noted that Brown is "really excited" about her new man, especially because "their lifestyles are very similar." Woolard feels the same way, according to the source, who told Us, "He even posted about 'values and purpose' aligning, and you can tell he's just as happy having her in his life." The former pageant queen's parents also "adore" Woolard and think he is a "great match for her," the insider added. As the romance has progressed the couple haven't been shy about their feelings for one another. When Brown launched her clothing collaboration with L.A.-based line Show Me Your Mumu in May 2021, her boyfriend was quick to congratulate her. "Many have seen you shine on TV, but few get to see how hard you work," he gushed in an Instagram post at the time. "How thoughtful you are … and how you care for others … every single day." The same month, the southern belle wished Woolard a happy birthday, sharing videos of them dancing together throughout their relationship. "You radiate goodness, positivity, and joy. I'm so thankful to be surrounded by your shine," she captioned the clip. Blake Moynes 'Blindsided' by Katie Thurston's Relationship With John Hersey Posted: 23 Nov 2021 02:00 PM PST Bachelor Nation fans weren’t the only ones in for a shock when Us Weekly confirmed Katie Thurston‘s new romance with John Hersey — Blake Moynes wasn’t expecting it either. “Blake is blindsided by the news,” a source exclusively tells Us about Moynes, 31, finding out about his ex-fiancée’s relationship status. Although the wildlife manager recently unfollowed Thurston, 30, he has yet to publicly address the news. Meanwhile, his mother, Emily Moynes, made her opinion clear when she “liked” a comment on Tuesday, November 23, from a fan that read, “Nah this is terrible on Katie's part. I feel truly sorry for Blake. In any relationship, you put a sense of ‘trust’ in one another, especially long-distance relationships. There's no denying the dishonesty and deception for months upon months.” Thurston fueled romance rumors with Hersey, 27, when she dedicated Taylor Swift‘s “Begin Again” to the contestant who she sent home during week two on her season of The Bachelorette. The post, which came on the final day of her "12 Days of Messy" challenge, highlighted the pair’s moments on and off the ABC series. Viewers originally rooted for Thurston and Blake during season 17 of The Bachelorette after the Canada native previously appeared on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams‘ season in 2020. As Blake crashed the season to try to win the Washington native over, she revealed that they actually had contact with one another before. "I definitely knew who he was, which also Tayshia’s ex-boyfriend! So that's weird," the former bank marketing manager exclusively told Us in June about Blake sliding into her DMs. "We had chatted before, but usually what happens is, like, the guys will reach out to the women once they're eliminated and be like, 'Good luck, you did great.' Like, very generic, you know? And so to see him, I was like, 'Why is he here?' Like, 'What's happening?'" After Blake popped the question in the August finale, Thurston gushed about leaving the reality series with her first choice. "I think everyone can agree that this is exactly who I was supposed to be with," she said during the After the Final Rose special at the time. "He fought to be here for me and chose to stay even when I'm telling him to his face that I considered leaving. That he was confident enough to hold both of us till the end, I'm just so lucky. I love him so much." Blake, for his part, shared the twosome’s plans to travel the world together before settling down. "We need to see each other’s lifestyles and our passions, our interests, and then try to see where our anchor spot will be, where all those things can kind of align and make sense for both of us," he told Us in August. "We’re going to jump around for a bit and experience what works best for us." Two months after their proposal aired, the duo issued a joint statement confirming their split. “It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently,” Thurston and Blake captioned their identical posts via Instagram in October. “We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.” Blake later offered fans a glimpse at his healing process. "When times are really tough and things just aren't going the way you had hoped … it's always the same ‘gang’ that gets ya back on your feet," he wrote via Instagram earlier this month. "Feels good to start getting back into the swing of things. But, as much as I do lean on my human / furr fam at times like this, I really do have to acknowledge you all, my newfound social family for all the love, support, encouragement and even patience over the past week. Cheers to you, super grateful…for real. With reporting by Diana Cooper |
Mr. Grinch? Tori Spelling Leaves Dean McDermott Out While Hanging Stockings Posted: 23 Nov 2021 01:50 PM PST ![]() Happy holidays? Tori Spelling turned heads when she shared another festive post about the Christmas season without any mention of husband Dean McDermott amid split rumors. "Let's talk holiday decorating! The kids and I are in The first photo shows "whimsical wintery" characters, including a snowman, reindeer and penguins, on the traditional decorations. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum held up a stocking with her name on it while standing next to ones with her five children's — Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 9, Finn, 8, and Beau, 4 — names hanging from the fireplace. Spelling shined a spotlight on a second design, the "timeless traditional snowflakes," in her second snap. Again, the actress held onto a stocking with her name on it while her kids' colorful items hung below a garland-adorned mantel. McDermott, 55, doesn't appear to have a stocking in either photo. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to comment on the Open Range actor's absence, with one writing, "Where is Deans?" Another user asked, "No hubby??" while a third fan pointed out that "Geez Dean doesn't get a stocking, either? One day prior, Spelling raised eyebrows when she shared her family's holiday card, which featured all five kids, their farm animals and the BH90210 alum. McDermott again was not in the mix. In fact, Spelling signed the card, "With Love, from our farm to your home! Xoxo, Tori & Family," leading some fans to think they were broken up. The sTORI Telling author, however, seemingly shut down split speculation on Monday, November 22, after one fan joked that McDermott "must be 'working' out of town" to have missed the annual Christmas photo. "Fact: @imdeanmcdermott was filming his new feature film in Canada," Spelling replied. While some fans couldn't stop hinting at the possible trouble between Spelling and McDermott, other users complimented the actress for her creativity. One Instagram follower went as far as telling the other users to stop hounding the California native amid her alleged marital woes. "If he wasn't in the family Christmas picture why would his name be on a stocking??" the user commented on Tuesday. "Read between the lines. I'm sure she'll discuss when/if she's ready." Spelling's two holiday posts come after she and McDermott sparked breakup speculation during the summer when they were spotted on separate occasions without their wedding rings. The Unchartered TerriTORI author added fuel to the split rumors in June when she revealed that they weren't sleeping in the same bed after her husband returned home from shooting a project overseas. While McDermott shut down separation chatter in September while appearing on the "Feminine Warrior" podcast — noting that he lost his wedding ring while playing golf and Spelling simply forgot to put hers back on after washing her hands — his wife reignited the rumors the following month. In October, Spelling was spotted outside an attorney's office holding documents that read "assets," "support" and "custody." The same month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the Troop Beverly Hills actress "wants a divorce" following a serious disagreement between the pair after McDermott "went missing" for two days. The insider noted that Spelling "feels trapped" in her marriage but has been sticking it out for the kids. A second source told Us earlier this month that the twosome, who wed in 2006, "can't stand to be around each other" and that "it's gotten really bad" between them as of late. |
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's Relationship Timeline Posted: 23 Nov 2021 12:57 PM PST Sorry, Beliebers — there’s only one girl Justin Bieber has eyes for! After facing plenty of ups and downs in their relationship, the heartthrob finally sealed the deal with Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin), and the pair have been going strong ever since. The couple tied the knot in September 2018 at a New York City courthouse and held a second, more traditional ceremony with friends and family in South Carolina a year later. Two years before tying the knot privately, the “One Less Lonely Girl” crooner predicted that he might have found The One. “What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? Katie Thurston and John Hersey's Timeline: 'Bachelorette,' Blake and Beyond Posted: 23 Nov 2021 12:25 PM PST Even Katie Thurston didn't know what she was promising when she declared her Bachelorette ending was a "first" for the franchise. After appearing on season 25 of The Bachelor, which aired in early 2021, ABC named the Washington native their season 17 star. She subsequently started filming in Palm Springs and met 30 contestants, including bartender John Hersey. She sent the California native home during week two of the competition. Blake Moynes, who originally competed on season 16 of The Bachelorette in 2020, joined the cast when there were 14 men remaining. The Canada native admitted that he reached out to Thurston while Matt James' season was airing and felt like they would have a connection. After two of Thurston's top four quit — Greg Grippo and Michael Allio — she gave Moynes her final rose, sending home Justin Glaze. Thurston and Moynes' proposal aired on the August 2021 finale of The Bachelorette. The twosome told Us Weekly at the time that they weren't in a rush to move in together as they navigated their post-show future. By October, she admitted to Us that the twosome were "winging" things as Moynes traveled to Africa for work. "The short version is we're figuring it out. We don't know. This is very new to us still. I'm just focusing on myself, he's focusing on him, and if we work doing that, great. If not —” Thurston told Us before trailing off backstage at Whitney Cummings' comedy show. Days after the performance, Thurston and Moynes announced their engagement was over. She subsequently told her Instagram followers that the twosome "owe it to each other to step away" from their relationship because it wasn't working. "We were together for six months [and] Blake and I are very level-headed and mature, and we communicate very well on our thoughts," Thurston told fans on October 31, 2021. "And we just both knew if this was how our first six months was as a couple, going forward it was going to not be in our best interest for our happiness to stay together." Moynes, for his part, admitted things haven't "been easy" for him as he returned to social media post-split on November 9, 2021. Later that month, Us broke the news that Thurston was seeing Hersey. Her rep later confirmed the news via a statement: "It's known Katie and John became close friends post-season. John has been there for her through all the major changes in her life, and they are excited to explore this newly found romantic connection." Scroll through for a complete timeline of her relationship with Hersey: ![]() During night one of Thurston’s season, which filmed in March 2021, she admitted that Hersey was her “type” when he walked out of the limo. By week two, however, she sent him packing. ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() In May 2021, Thurston nearly ran into Hersey at a San Diego beach with friends. “John is surfing on this exact beach — very, very randomly, a rose floats by in the water. And he's like, ‘That's incredibly strange.’ … Just a very strange occurrence,” the duo’s mutual friend Stephen Lovegrove later recalled on Us’ “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast in September 2021. “He surfs, he goes home, we take photos, we get ice cream, we go home. And later that afternoon, John sees from Katie's account, all these photos go up and realizes as he was surfing with this random rose floating by, he was literally 100 feet away from the Bachelorette, who he had just filmed this season [with]. It was such a random coincidence that we didn't find out about till a long time later.” During that trip, Thurston was also spotted at Duke’s in La Jolla, where Hersey was a bartender. As her season aired in summer 2021, there was a fan theory that she got back together with Hersey due to the photos from the bar. “Through all of that speculation, at some point, I reached out to John and made a joke about I hope you and Katie are doing so well,” Lovegrove told Us. “And anyway, our friendship was born out of all of that. But yes, the Duke’s trip that threw off every spoiler page by total accident happened in the midst of the now-infamous San Diego trip [that sparked the love triangle with Alana Milne, Chris Conran and Jessenia Cruz on Bachelor in Paradise], as well.” ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() Despite his early departure, Hersey was always team Thurston, defending her after she accused finalist Greg Grippo of gaslighting her during their messy split on an August episode. “I watched [Monday] night's episode and was shocked by some of the behavior I witnessed, namely the words and body language exhibited by Greg,” Hersey wrote via Instagram Stories at the time. "Watching these actions get defended (and therefore normalized) strikes me as extremely unhealthy and a step in the wrong direction.” He added: "An individual can be a good friend to some while simultaneously being harmful to others in another relationship. Friendship cannot be an excuse to blindly defend someone's behavior.” ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() After spending the month apart amid his work trip to Africa, Thurston and Moynes reunited and announced their split on October 25, 2021. “It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently,” the twosome wrote via Instagram at the time. “We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.” ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() Social media began to speculate about Thurston’s relationship with Hersey after she shared a picture of the flowers she received following her split from Moynes with a note that read: “These are not romantic flowers. These are happy flowers. Because I do not want you to be… I want you to be happy.” Bachelor Nation was convinced that the note was from Hersey. Three days later, Thurston posted a throwback video on November 7 of “the first time I saw John since filming.” She then hinted that fans weren’t on the right track by sharing Polaroid photos with him, writing, “Y’all getting wild in my DMs." Courtesy Katie Thurston/Instagram ![]() Thurston began her “12 Days of Messy” challenge in mid-November, dedicating Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” to her former fiancé. Celebrities React to Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian Dating News Posted: 23 Nov 2021 12:22 PM PST Even the stars want answers! Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian‘s recent outings have raised eyebrows among both fans and fellow celebrities. The duo first connected when Kardashian, 41, hosted Saturday Night Live on October 9. In one of the sketches, the reality star locked lips with the Set It Up actor, 27, while they were imitating Jasmine and Aladdin, respectively. Several weeks later, Kardashian was spotted holding hands with the Guy Code alum while riding a roller-coaster at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Travis Barker, Kourtney Kardashian, Stephanie Shepherd, Harry Hudson and other friends also tagged along for the fun-filled trip. While some fans were convinced sparks might be flying between the KKW Beauty founder and the Meet Cute actor as they went on to spend time together in New York City, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the twosome “are just friends right now.” According to the insider, “No one really knows what is going on with Kim and Pete. … Things could turn romantic.” The California native filed for divorce from Kanye West in February after nearly seven years of marriage. The estranged pair share children North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2. Before she was linked to Davidson, Kim had some concerns about getting back into the dating world amid her divorce. “She’s not focused on dating at the moment but actually worries that guys will not want to date her because of how public her relationship was with Kanye,” an insider told Us in June. “She also knows how hard it is to build trust with someone, so she thinks it’s going to take time before letting someone into her private life. It was easy with Kanye because they were friends before so they had years’ worth of trust.” Davidson, for his part, most recently sparked a whirlwind romance with Phoebe Dynevor. Us exclusively confirmed in April that the pair were dating after they were spotted getting cozy in the U.K. one month prior. They attended their first event as a couple in July during the Wimbledon tennis tournament, but by the following month, they had split. “The distance put a strain on the relationship and it made it hard to maintain,” a source exclusively noted in August, adding that Davidson and the Bridgerton actress, 26, “had a great time while they were together.” Scroll down to see how celebs are reacting to Davidson’s romance with the Skims CEO: ![]() The actress addressed Davidson and Kardashian's relationship on the November 15 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. "I love how you put it Ross," she told panelist Ross Mathews. "I love how you call it 'the relationship we didn't know we needed.'" Liam Hemsworth! Nick Jonas! See Miley Cyrus' Dating History Posted: 23 Nov 2021 12:20 PM PST Dating pro! Miley Cyrus has had her fair share of love throughout her life, including many high-profile relationships. The "Midnight Sky" singer's dating life has been a popular topic throughout her career, beginning with her short-lived romances with Tyler Posey and Nick Jonas. Her relationship with her Last Song costar Liam Hemsworth made headlines as the pair dated on and off for 10 years. They tied the knot in December 2018 after getting engaged in May 2012. The pair split for good in August 2019. After a whirlwind rebound romance with Kaitlynn Carter and a relationship with Cody Simpson, Cyrus, who identifies as pansexual, got real about the highs and lows of her love life. "I've been in love three times, but I've been in love more than I've loved anyone else one time," she told host Alex Cooper on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in August 2020. "I think that kind of sticks around … I don't believe in one true love because there are qualities people bring to your life that someone else won't." The Hannah Montana alum did not reveal who her three big loves were. She did, however, note that one of her past girlfriends has continued to pop up in her dreams. "I've been in love [with] one person, who is a girl, who I still think about and dream about all the time," she said. "But you just know that something doesn't fit." Cyrus' dating history has included both men and women, both before and after her divorce from Hemsworth. When it comes to what she wants in a partner, the "Wrecking Ball" singer is focused on someone in the same place as she is: sober. "As of right now, having someone who is sober — like a partner — is very sexual to me," she said in August 2020. "As someone who's living the sober lifestyle, don't find your next partner at the club, put yourself in places you'll be successful, you can control the people who will flow into your life and I control who comes in and who doesn't." Next Step! Lala Kent ‘Recently’ Moved Into a New Place After Randall Split Posted: 23 Nov 2021 12:11 PM PST Making moves! Lala Kent gave fans a glimpse at her new pad after breaking up with Randall Emmett earlier this year. The Vanderpump Rules star, 31, "very recently" moved into a "new place," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. Kent, who confirmed her split from Emmett, 50, earlier this month, briefly showed off her new abode — or rather, the kitchen space — while highlighting Starla Wines in a sponsored Instagram post on Monday, November 22. "Hey, you guys. Welcome to my new place!" the Bravo personality said in the social media video, revealing an all-white kitchen, sleek cabinets and patterned backsplash. The Utah native stood in front of a silver refrigerator as she talked about the non-alcoholic wine brand. "I am in desperate need for a drink … nonalcoholic that is," she said in the clip after a trio of wines magically appeared on her counter. "I am obsessed with Starla wines. I have been sober for over three years. This is the perfect option to feel like you're still part of the party." The Give Them Lala Beauty founder, who shares 8-month-old daughter Ocean with Emmett, also took to her Instagram Stories to thank her fans on Monday for their continued support after her breakup. ![]() "I just want to say … I love & adore you all. The amount of love and support I'm getting is overwhelming and beautiful," she wrote in a statement to her followers. "It does not go unnoticed. I feel blessed beyond belief." Kent continued: "My Give Them Lala squad rolls deep and you all for damn sure don't f—k around. Thank you & I see you. I am forever grateful." The Give Them Lala Baby founder and the Midnight in the Switchgrass director got engaged in September 2018 after going public with their relationship earlier that year. The pair originally planned to tie the knot in April 2020 but had to postpone the nuptials amid the COVID-19 crisis. Nearly one year later, they welcomed their daughter in March, but the parents split before Ocean’s first Thanksgiving. Kent was spotted in Los Angeles in October without her engagement ring after previously sparking split speculation when she wiped all signs of Emmett from her social media accounts. Us Weekly confirmed on November 3 that the duo had separated, with an insider exclusively saying, "Randall did not want to split but it was Lala's decision. The trust is gone." The reality star addressed the separation during the November 3 "Give Them Lala … With Randall" podcast, noting "there will eventually be a time where I feel comfortable enough to open up and share," but that "today is definitely not that day." Earlier this month, Emmett announced his departure from their joint podcast explaining during the November 17 episode that he was stepping back to "focus right now on family" and his film career. The producer is also the father of London, 11, and Rylee, 9, whom he shares with ex-wife Ambyr Childers. Kent, for her part, revealed a podcast rebranding on Sunday, November 21, sharing that her new "Give Them Lala" podcast will launch on Wednesday, November 24. "Of course, we will always spill the tea," she said in a soundbite on the podcast's Instagram page. "We'll gossip about relationships, sex, betrayal, but most of all, we will all leave feeling inspired." |
Blake Moynes’ Mom Hints at Katie Thurston's 'Deception' Amid John Romance Posted: 23 Nov 2021 11:56 AM PST Is that a dig? After Us Weekly confirmed that Katie Thurston is dating John Hersey following her split from Blake Moynes, the wildlife manager’s mother had a subtle — but telling — reaction to the news. Emily Moynes “liked” a comment on a Bachelornation.Scoop Instagram post on Tuesday, November 23, which reposted the 30-year-old former bank marketing manager’s dedication to Hersey, 27, on the final day of her "12 Days of Messy" challenge. ![]() “Nah this is terrible on Katie's part. I feel truly sorry for Blake. In any relationship, you put a sense of ‘trust’ in one another, especially long-distance relationships. There's no denying the dishonesty and deception for months upon months,” the message Emily “liked” read. Thurston’s post, which highlights Taylor Swift's "Begin Again" track alongside recent clips of the pair, made headlines as fans started to question whether the twosome reunited after Hersey was sent home during week two on her season of The Bachelorette. The TV personality later connected with Blake, 31, during season 17 and she accepted his proposal in the August finale. Two months after the proposal aired, the Washington native sparked breakup speculation when she opened up about the struggles of making a long-distance relationship work. “The short version is we're figuring it out,” the reality star exclusively told Us during her appearance at Whitney Cummings' Touch Me Tour in October. “We don't know. This is very new to us still. I'm just focusing on myself. He's focusing on him, and if we work doing that, great.” Days later, Thurston and Blake took to social media to announce that they had called it quits. “It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently,” they captioned their individual posts via Instagram at the time. “We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.” The Canada native later noted that "it hasn’t been [an] easy" journey as he worked through the split. "Today, something super exciting came to fruition that I've been working on for a little while now," he explained in an Instagram video earlier this month. "I've had to put [it] on the back burner for weeks just due to the obvious events that have happened … with Katie and I and the breakup. … The internet is a very cruel, nasty, sh—y place. Without the love and support that you guys give me — the community that we kind of created here through this amazing experience that I've had — allows me to commit to trying to make a difference in the world." A source also revealed to Us at the time that although Thurston is still “trying to get through the breakup,” she has “gotten clarity” when it comes to knowing “what she wants in a husband.” On Tuesday, her rep addressed her romance with Hersey, telling Page Six: "It's known Katie and John became close friends post-season. John has been there for her through all the major changes in her life, and they are excited to explore this newly found romantic connection." |
Miley Cyrus Through the Years: From ‘Hannah Montana’ to World Tours Posted: 23 Nov 2021 10:50 AM PST Miley Cyrus is a force to be reckoned with. After becoming a household name on Hannah Montana in 2006, the Tennessee native has blossomed into an A-list movie star and singer who consistently keeps her fans on their toes. The actress got her start on Disney Channel, but as her career continued to grow, she realized the effects of being a child star. "There's so much I don't remember about being a child entertainer because it was so much to keep in my brain," she detailed in the August 2017 issue of Harper's Bazaar. "It's like anything when you are in it. I didn't realize how much pressure I was under and how that shaped me until, like, this year." Cyrus garnered criticism as she embraced growing up. "People were so shocked by some of the things that I did," she recalled. "It should be more shocking that when I was 11 or 12, I was put in full hair and makeup, a wig, and told what to wear by a group of mostly older men." The "Wrecking Ball" songstress' character on Hannah Montana was known for transforming herself on a regular basis, and Cyrus has been no different during her time in the spotlight. "I'm not saying I've never been myself," she noted. "Who I was on the last record [Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz] was really who I am. It's just myself has been a lot of different people because I change a lot." No matter what stage of life she is in, Cyrus hopes that her authenticity is evident. "I think I show people that they can be themselves," she said. "I also think something that has been important for me, in this next little, like, transition phase of my career is that I don't give a f–k about being cool. I just want to be myself." As she discovered who she is, the Last Song star had a series of high-profile relationships — none more so than with Liam Hemsworth. She began dating the actor in 2009, and they were engaged from 2012 to 2013. They rekindled their romance in 2016 and tied the knot in 2018. However, they announced their split in 2019 and finalized their divorce in 2020. "What really sucked about it wasn't the fact that me and someone that I loved realized that we don't love each other the way that we used to anymore," Cyrus said during a September 2020 appearance on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast. "That's OK, I can accept that. I can't accept the villainizing and just all those stories."
