| Bachelorette’s Tayshia Adams Hospitalized After NYC Marathon: ‘What a Day’ Posted: 11 Nov 2021 02:56 PM PST  Trying to recover. Tayshia Adams was hospitalized on Thursday, November 11, less than one week after completing the New York City Marathon. "Welp, I've been here since 9:30 a.m.," the 31-year-old star wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, sharing a video of herself in a hospital bed. "What a day The former Bachelorette posted the clip, which showed her in a hospital gown and face covering, at 3:01 p.m. ET. She loudly sighed in the video but didn't say anything else about why she was admitted. “Details are unknown at this time but it is likely related to her marathon recovery,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, confirming that Adams checked into a hospital this morning.  The California native and her fiancé, Zac Clark, finished the 26.2-mile NYC Marathon on Sunday, November 7. Adams was running in support of World Vision, which is a Christian charity specializing in humanitarian aid, while Clark, 36, competed for his Release Recovery foundation. After completing the marathon side by side in just under five hours, Clark praised his fiancée for her dedication to training and her perseverance during the course. "The untold story about @tayshia is one of humility and courage. She would never tell the world how truly inspiring her performance was yesterday at the @nycmarathon but I will," he wrote via Instagram on Monday, November 8. "Leading up to Sunday she did dozens of interviews where she could have talked about her chronic knee/back pain or her inability to train due to her insane schedule but instead she talked about her charity of choice, @worldvisionusa, and how grateful she was for all the support from family, friends, fans and strangers." The New Jersey native — who proposed to Adams during the December 2020 season 16 finale of The Bachelorette — gushed over his love, who he said was "allergic to excuses." While Adams could have "bailed" at any point over the past four months, she didn’t give up. "She said she was going to do something and she did it. No one will remember her 'time' but the fact that she went out and ran (check the hundreds of videos online — there was very little walking) this race in 4 hours and 40 minutes is heroic and shows the power of believing in yourself," Clark, who has previously finished eight marathons, continued. "I will be forever grateful to have had a front row seat to her performance yesterday, as will the thousands of others who cheered her along the way. … The world is a better place today than it was yesterday because of you … KEEP GOING Following her successful performance, Adams attended a dinner for Victoria's Secret on Wednesday, November 10. "When I say that I physically could not walk on Monday and Tuesday, I actually mean I could not walk. It was so incredibly hard," she said in an Instagram video from home on Wednesday after wearing high heels during her night out. Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd‘s love story has all the makings of a great country song. Morris and Hurd met during a writing session for Tim McGraw's song "Last Turn Home" in 2013. "[Ryan's] always been a creative collaborator in my life, that's how we met," Morris told Us Weekly exclusively in March 2019. "We were paired together six years ago to write a song. We didn't know each other and it just kind of grew from there, so music has always been really intertwined in our love for each other, and now that we aren't just songwriters, we're artists." The duo were friends for two years before their relationship turned romantic. Hurd detailed their love story in his 2017 song "Love in a Bar." "We were just friends, just hanging / Just sitting 'round waiting for somebody to cross the line," he sings. "And we've been saying it with our eyes the whole time / That you have my whole heart." After dating for nearly two years, Hurd proposed to Morris in July 2017. Less than a year later, the couple wed. "I've learned so much from Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman," Morris told Us about dealing with the long-distance relationship. "They've got the two-week rule; he's got his kids out on the road. They just make it look so normal and it makes me and Ryan feel like this could be normal as well. We do a pretty good job at constantly keeping in contact, lots of FaceTime. We have the same manager now, so she helps our calendars really coalesce well and that's helped it a good bit. Zayn Malik shared his first social media post since his drama with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid and her mom, Yolanda Hadid, unfolded in October. The 28-year-old singer posted a moody Instagram photo on Thursday, November 11, captioned, “DROPHEAD. @arnette #zaynxarnette #ad.” The snap showed Malik sitting with his arms crossed while wearing sunglasses and a black turtleneck. The former One Direction member‘s last Instagram upload was a selfie on October 24. Four days later, he addressed a reported altercation with Yolanda, 57, in a lengthy Twitter statement. “As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter [Khai] to grow up in,” he wrote in the October 28 post. “A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart. In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.” Malik claimed that the situation “was and still should be a private matter” in order to protect Khai, who he welcomed with Gigi, 26, in September 2020. | College Student Dies After Attending Astroworld, 9 Casualties Total Posted: 11 Nov 2021 12:46 PM PST Travis Scott's 2021 Astroworld Festival left nine attendees dead and more injured after a crowd rushed the stage. While the 29-year-old "Sicko Mode" rapper performed in Houston, Texas, on Friday, November 5, the crowd surged forward and caused a mass accident. "This is a tragic night," Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña said during a news conference early on Saturday, November 6. "We know that we had at least at least 8 confirmed fatalities tonight and we had scores of individuals that were injured here in this event." Peña noted that nearly 50,000 individuals attended the music festival, explaining that around 9:00 p.m. the crowd had "began to compress toward the front of the stage," which caused panic and injuries. "At the start of the mass casualty incident, when it was triggered … We transferred 17 patients to the hospital," Peña added at the time. "We won't know the cause of death of the eight that were confirmed until the medical examiner has completed his investigation, but we are in the process — Houston Police Department — is sending units to the hospitals to identify these patients." The incident took place at the sold-out outdoor festival, which was held at NRG Park. The crowd surge “was from panic because people were running for safety,” a source close to the investigation tells Us Weekly. “The quick response from Astroworld security and staff on site undoubtedly saved even more people from being hurt or worse." During the show, Scott paused his performance "three times" to ask what had happened, according to one source. "He asked for everybody in the area to go help them and bring them to the front," an insider told Us. "As soon as they were made aware of what was happening, they ended the performance in the interest of public safety.” The event's official social media page shared a statement of support early on Saturday, writing, "Our hearts are with the Astroworld Festival family tonight — especially those we lost and their loved ones. We are focused on supporting local officials however we can." In the statement, it was confirmed that the festival's Saturday lineup had been canceled. "As authorities mentioned in their press conference earlier, they are looking into the series of cardiac arrests that took place," the social media statement read. "Thank you to our partners at the Houston Police Department, Fire Department and NRG Park for their response and support." Scott's partner, Kylie Jenner, shared footage from the concert hours earlier via Instagram Story, having attended alongside sister Kendall Jenner. The 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder posted snaps of a trailer with 3-year-old daughter Stormi's name on it alongside concert videos during the rapper's set. In Jenner's Instagram videos, the packed crowd was seen jumping during her beau’s performance, which was complete with pyrotechnics on stage. The musician's annual festival completed a week's worth of "Astroweek" programming, which he described via Instagram in October as "a wild week." I was healthy. I, like, breached my own boundaries and I wasn’t comfortable with it. Prince Charles offered an update on Queen Elizabeth II‘s health days after she returned home to Windsor Castle following several event cancellations and a recent hospital stay. During an event for the Prince's Trust in South London on Thursday, November 11, Charles, 72, was asked how his 95-year-old mother was feeling by someone in the crowd outside the royal engagement. In a video posted online on Thursday, the father of Prince William and Prince Harry appears to reassure the well-wisher that the monarch is doing well. “She’s alright, thank you," he said before going on his way. Following Charles’ comments on the queen’s medical status, Buckingham Palace confirmed that she would attend the annual Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph on Sunday, November 14. "As in previous years, Her Majesty will view the Service from the balcony of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office," the Palace stated on Thursday. However, based on previous advice from her doctors, she will not appear at the General Synod Service and Opening Session on Tuesday, November 16, the statement confirmed. Her son Prince Edward, the Duke of Wessex, will go to the event as previously planned. On October 20, the queen canceled a planned trip to Northern Ireland. One day later, it was revealed by Buckingham Palace that she had spent one night in the hospital on the advice of her medical team.  Following the queen's health scare, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Harry, 37, went into "panic mode." "[He] would never forgive himself if the same thing happened with his beloved grandmother," the insider said last month, noting that Harry is "hoping to go back home for Christmas with Meghan [Markle], if not before so that she can finally get to meet [her great granddaughter] Lilibet and see [great grandson] Archie again." In late October, she returned to work, only for her doctors to advise that she take "at least" two weeks to rest. "Her Majesty can continue to undertake light, desk-based duties during this time, including some virtual Audiences, but not to undertake any official visits,” the October 29 statement from the Palace noted. At the time, the Palace said she would be unable to attend the Festival of Remembrance on November 13 — but intended to be present for the National Service of Remembrance the following day. Since taking a leave from her in-person royal duties, the queen has been seen driving around the Windsor estate. Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal's relationship may have been brief, but its impact certainly hasn’t been. The twosome were originally seen spending time together in October 2010 and dated for three months before going their separate ways. Two years later, Swift made headlines with her album Red, which included smash hits “All Too Well” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Swifties were quick to to dig for clues within the lyrics, which not-so-subtly hinted at Swift and Gyllenhaal's whirlwind relationship. Queen Elizabeth II‘s health has been the subject of much speculation after she completed a short hospital stay in October, but the 95-year-old royal isn’t ready to slow down too much. The monarch first sparked concern after she walked with a cane during an October 12 appearance at Westminster Abbey in London for a Service of Thanksgiving. When the queen arrived at the church, her daughter, Princess Anne, handed her the accessory. Earlier in the month, Elizabeth walked on her own during a visit to Scotland with her eldest son, Prince Charles. The royal matriarch is also the mother of Prince Andrew and Prince Edward with her late husband, Prince Philip, who died at age 99 in April. Three weeks after her Scottish appearance, the monarch canceled a trip to Northern Ireland after her medical team recommended that she take it easy. "The Queen has reluctantly accepted medical advice to rest for the next few days," Buckingham Palace said in an October 20 statement, adding that she was "in good spirits" and "disappointed" to miss the planned events. One day later, a spokesperson for the palace revealed that Elizabeth spent the night in the hospital after canceling her Northern Ireland plans. "Following medical advice to rest for a few days, The Queen attended hospital on [October 20] for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits," Buckingham Palace said in a statement on October 21. The queen seemed to recuperate within a few days, returning to work on October 26 to receive ambassadors from Korea and Switzerland via video link. | Jon Gosselin: I ‘Helped’ and ‘Supported’ Ex Colleen Conrad Through Her Cancer Posted: 11 Nov 2021 11:34 AM PST  On good terms. Jon Gosselin and ex-girlfriend Colleen Conrad are still in contact following their split — and Conrad's battle with cancer — earlier this year. “We had ongoing issues previous to our breakup and previous to her diagnosis," Gosselin, 44, said on the Monday, November 8, episode of Dr. Oz. "We had trouble in the relationship for a long time and didn’t really want any stress during her treatment.” The Jon and Kate Plus 8 alum explained that the exes thought it was "best" to end their relationship and "work on our friendship and get her through her treatment.” Conrad, 51, was diagnosed with cancer in April. The health scare came two months after Gosselin returned to work in February following a long battle with COVID-19. It wasn't until August that Conrad publicly announced her breast cancer diagnosis, explaining via social media that she had a single mastectomy one month prior. The surgery was successful, leading doctors to downgrade her cancer from stage 2 to stage 1. She explained at the time that she was still waiting to find out whether she'd need to undergo chemotherapy. Shortly after Conrad shared her health update with fans, Us Weekly confirmed in August that she and Gosselin called it quits after seven years together. The timing of the breakup raised a few eyebrows as some people accused Gosselin of abandoning Conrad during her time of need. The TV personality, however, told Dr. Mehmet Oz on Monday that the split was "definitely mutual" and that he has been there for Conrad throughout her cancer battle. “I’ll always love Colleen and we’re friends and it wasn’t because of cancer [that we broke up]," Gosselin said. "I helped her through cancer, insurance and everything else. I supported her through her cancer. It was easier as friends to break off the relationship and get her through that as well." The Pennsylvania native — who shares 21-year-old twins Cara and Mady and 17-year-old sextuplets Hannah, Collin, Aaden, Joel, Leah and Alexis, with ex-wife Kate Gosselin — noted that the breakup was a positive for his family as well. Collin and Hannah have lived with Jon since 2018. “It was good for my kids too, that I [could] focus on them as well and focus on other things that were going on in my life, other projects and work as well," he explained. "Then I could really focus on helping my friend get through her cancer.” Jon also acknowledged that Conrad is still a "big part" of Collin and Hannah's lives. "It's harder for Collin," the former reality star said of the breakup, noting that Hannah is "more resilient" toward those things. |

Kody Brown still has three wives after Christine Brown‘s recent departure, but the family’s future is far from certain, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “All the wives knew and were aware of the split, so it wasn’t news to them,” the insider says of Christine, 49, and the November 2 announcement that she had decided to leave Kody, 52. “If anything, it sort of inspired the others in one way or another to reevaluate their position.” Kody’s remaining wives are Meri Brown, whom he wed in 1990, Janelle Brown, whom he wed in 1993, and Robyn Brown, who in 2010 became the first new wife in the family in 16 years. (Christine and Kody tied the knot in 1994.) Because polygamy is illegal in the United States, only his union with Robyn, 43, is recognized by law. The other women have been dealing with their own life changes, some of which aren’t related to Christine’s exit at all. Janelle, 52, spent the summer living in an RV on the Brown family’s Arizona property, and she recently decided to rent a house in town for the winter. “Janelle found a new home,” the insider explains, noting that she doesn’t “often” see Kody and Robyn. “She’s excited about spending time with her children for the holidays. Her kids are her real family.” The reality star shares Logan, 27, Maddie, 26, Gabriel, 20, and Savanah, 16, with Kody, who is dad to a total of 18 children with his sister wives. Following her split from Kody, Christine moved back to Utah, but that distance hasn’t stopped her from staying in touch with Janelle. “[Janelle’s] really close to Christine, so she’s in constant communication with her,” the source notes. Meanwhile, things between Meri, 50, and Kody have been strained over the past several years, as documented during season 15 of the family’s TLC show. Earlier this year, the 18-year-old made history at the Tokyo Olympics, becoming the first-ever Hmong American gymnast to compete for Team USA. While discussing how much things have changed for her since bringing home a gold medal, the athlete told PopSugar about an incident that occurred in Los Angeles earlier this month during a night out with friends, all of whom were of Asian descent. According to the Auburn University student, a group of people sped by her as she waited for an Uber home with her friends, shouting racist slurs and telling them to “go back to where they came from.” One of the passengers fired pepper spray in Lee’s direction, allegedly hitting her in the arm. “I was so mad, but there was nothing I could do or control because they skirted off,” the Minnesota native told PopSugar in an interview published on Wednesday, November 10. “I didn’t do anything to them, and having the reputation, it’s so hard because I didn’t want to do anything that could get me into trouble. I just let it happen.” Lee is currently living in L.A. while competing on season 30 of Dancing With the Stars. “I have all of these expectations on me,” she told the outlet. “On top of that, I put a lot of pressure on myself, so it’s kind of scary.” The Olympic all-around champion recently told fans that she was going through a difficult time after running out of the DWTS ballroom after performing on Queen night. “Could def be better,” she said of her mental health during an Instagram Q&A on November 4. “But it’s just a lot on my plate all at one time & a lot of things ppl don’t know about.” Lee had viewers worried during the November 1 episode as she ran off stage clutching her stomach. The pair, who began dating in October 2019, got serious fast, making their relationship Instagram official in January 2020 and getting engaged less than a year into their romance. "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,” the photographer wrote via Instagram in July 2020 after popping the question. “I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day The model’s famous parents, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, are super supportive of their eldest son’s relationship and are huge fans of their future daughter-in-law. "[Nicola] is just wonderful," the former Spice Girls member said during a December 2020 appearance on the talk show Lorraine. "She's sweet, she's kind, she's such a lovely, warm, wonderful, wonderful woman. We couldn't have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable, lovely lady. We are very happy. We love her. As fans prepared for Taylor Swift‘s rereleased version of her 2012 album, Red, the singer threw everyone for a loop by announcing a short film to accompany the new 10-minute version of “All Too Well. The video, set to drop alongside the record on Friday, November 12, features Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink as the lead couple. The pairing came as a surprise to some fans, but other eagle-eyed Swifties noticed the stars’ ages mirror those of Swift, now 31, and ex-boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal, who inspired much of the Red album. While some may not be familiar with Sink, 19, she is already a household name for others after her performance as Max on season 2 of Netflix’s Stranger Things. Before joining the hit show, the Dear Zoe star opened up about her introduction to the cultural phenomenon. "My friend had told me about Stranger Things and how I had to watch it," Sink explained to The Hollywood Reporter in November 2017. "I was like, 'OK, I will!' I binged it in, like, a day and was like, 'Oh, my gosh, mom, you need to watch this show. Everyone needs to watch this.' A week later, I got the breakdown for Max. A month later, I got the part." Even before joining the show’s second season, Sink had already connected to her character very strongly. "That was one thing, going into it. I knew the big following Stranger Things had and I really liked the show, but even if I hadn't known what the show was, I still really related to the character and I really liked the material,” she noted at the time. “I loved how she had this backstory where things are not easy for her, but she's still super tough. I really liked that. She could be feisty and funny at times, too." Sink’s name blew up because of her involvement in the science fiction show and the Eli star booked the role of Ziggy Berman in the horror franchise Fear Street. “When I was looking over the script, at first glance, you can check [Ziggy] off as a very aggressive and intense character who’s mad at the world. All of these things are true," she told MTV in July 2017. "But what was important to me was to go and find moments that she was a little bit softer, and the moments that showed more of her vulnerabilities.” At the time, Sink drew comparisons between Max and Ziggy because of the ways each character stood out on screen. “Max still has this innocence about her. Zendaya and Tom Holland have their romance hush-hush, but fans know that the two have a long history. The actors met while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and romance rumors quickly followed. However, there wasn’t a direct confirmation of them dating until July 2021, when they were spotted kissing. At the time, the Cherry star and the Disney Channel alum were seen packing on the PDA in Holland’s car, in photographs obtained by Page Six. The two shared a smooch and made funny faces at each other in an Audi sports car in Los Angeles. Shortly after the pics confirmed what had been suspected for years, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the pair were completely unaware of the photographer snapping away and prefer to fly under the radar. "They're both not one to make their relationship public," another source told Us earlier this month. "They're private when it comes to dating, so any photos that have come out would've just been them going about their business and not knowing photographers were around." Later that month, a third insider exclusively revealed that the Marvel stars' friendship created a strong foundation for their romantic relationship. "Zendaya and Tom started off as really great friends and stayed that way for a long while before things turned romantic,” the source revealed, adding that the Emmy winner and the Avengers: Endgame actor “work really well together because he makes her laugh and she really helps guide him through the world of celebrity.” Holland found fame as soon as he debuted as the web slinging superhero in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. Though Zendaya joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe after her beau, she entered the limelight years earlier while starring on Disney Channel hits, including Shake It Up and KC Undercover. It isn’t clear exactly how long the couple have been dating due to the on-again, off-again nature of their relationship. While they were first linked in 2017, they’ve both had other relationships since then.
