Mom Accused of Living With Dead Child in Houston For Months

In an update on a previous story of a mother charged in Houston, we have now learned that Gloria Williams lived with her dead child for months before being detected by police reports the New York Post.

The mother, 35-year-old Gloria Williams, lived with her eight-year-old son and three other children. The eight-year-old had been decomposing for months. She is also being accused of locking up three other children with the dead boy according to the latest reports.

Gloria Williams Living Conditions

Gloria Williams has made her first appearance to face charges of injury to a child by omission, and tampering with evidence. Her boyfriend, 31-year-old Brian Coulter has been charged with beating the eight-year-old to death in 2020 "around Thanksgiving" reports the New York Post.

The deceased child's name is Kendrick Lee. The three remaining children lived in their Houston apartment alone, with paid rent and some food. However, when found, the children appeared malnourished. The children were 15, 9, and 7.

The couple reportedly lived in the apartment with the dead child until March.

Oldest Child Turns Mother In

Each of the children has a different father. They lived with their mother and dead brother in the apartment for almost one year, reportedly locked in a room with him.

The couple, Gloria and Brian, moved out in March but maintained the rent on the apartment in order to avoid detection. The New York Post reports that groceries were sent to the apartment monthly.

The 15-year-old turned the mother in by calling 9-1-1 Oct. 24 and telling dispatchers that he and his siblings were living with a deceased male who he called his brother.

Authorities Find the Children

When the authorities found the children, only the 10 and seven-year-old were at home. The homes was described as "deplorable" by the New York Post and did not have electricity.

They were also hungry, and had "visible physical injuries." Gloria Williams was arrested on the same day as that 9-1-1 call. The surviving children are now with Child Protective Services.

Brian Coulter is facing 99 years to life without parole if he is convicted of murder. His bond has been set at $1 million.

What the Children Saw

The children have made statements to the police, which were read at Coulter's arraignment. The prosecutor read that the siblings had witnessed Brian Coulter beat their eight-year-old brother to death. The children told the police that they saw Kendrick being punched repeatedly, in the face and in the back. After they thought he had gone unconscious, they put a blanket on him. They told the police that the child had kept kicking, but otherwise was not moving.

Williams maintains her innocence and says that she would check in on the kids every two weeks. The grandmother to the seven-year-old said that she wished she had adopted him, or, "held onto him" reports the New York Post.

KHOU reports that Gloria Williams has apologized from jail but also said, "I didn't do it."

When a KHOU reporter asked her if she knew Kendrick Lee was dead, she answered, "No."

Gloria Williams has been having a difficult time getting an attorney, but now has a court-appointed attorney. Her bond has been set at $900,000.

Patriots' Rookie Mac Jones' Unusual Pre-Game Hype Ritual

The post-Tom Brady era didn't get off to a good start for the New England Patriots. But after a tough year with Cam Newton under center, it seems like they've found their franchise quarterback in Mac Jones.

Jones has already embraced a leadership role at Foxborough and looks ahead of schedule when it comes to his competitiveness, poise, and mental strength.

But, even if he may look like a mature young man driving himself like a professional already, he's still a youngster.

Jones Says He Barks Before Games

And as such, Jones finds motivation in the simplest things. As a matter of fact, he recently said on [WEEI's "Merloni and Fauria"](https://www.audacy.com/weei/podcasts/ordway-merloni-fauria-20493/mf-patriots-qb-mac-jones-joins-us-to-talk-pats-win-over-the-chargers-his-sleep-schedule-and-more-901343419 that he barks before games to get hyped up.

"It just kind of, like, gets you hyped up," the rookie said. _"I don't know. It's just a way to get out all your emotions." _

Moreover, it seems like he's not alone and has started a bit of a trend in the locker room:

"Oh yeah," Jones added. "Before the game, we've got some barkers."

Unusual Pre-Game Meal

But that's not the only part of Jones' pre-game routine.

The Alabama product also said that he has to eat spaghetti with a steak and eggs regardless of the time of kickoff:

"I've eaten that at 6 in the morning before. It's always the same thing, regardless of (the time of) kickoff. ... It's just a part of the routine now. Just kind of gets your mind ready," Jones said.

Well, whatever he's doing, it's definitely working out perfectly for him.

Mac Jones Keeps Getting Better

It's still pretty early in his career and there's plenty of room for growth but thus far, Jones has done a solid job of shutting the doubts about him or his character.

The 15th overall pick of the Draft has now thrown for 1,997 yards (7.1 yards per attempt with a 68.1% completion percentage) with 9 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, according to Pro Football Reference.

He's also added 17 rushes for 55 yards, and he's only looking more comfortable with the offense as the weeks go by.

Don't Sleep On The Patriots

After starting the season 1-3, the Patriots have now won three out of their past four games to take their record to 4-4. Also, they were pretty close to beating two big contenders in the Buccaneers and Cowboys.

Bill Belichick's team has a somewhat easy schedule ahead of them with games against the Panthers, Browns, and the Derrick Henry-less Tennessee Titans before heading to their BYE week.

They trail the Buffalo Bills by a couple of games for the top of the AFC East division, and they're the last team you want to see getting hot as the playoffs zoom in.

NFL Rumors: Texans Kill Deshaun Watson Trade As Legal Turmoil Could End Soon

Deshaun Watson hasn't taken a single snap with the Houston Texans in months, yet his name continues to be thrown around in trade rumors.

The Clemson product has been inactive all season as he's facing up to 22 civil lawsuits for alleged sexual misconduct during massage therapy sessions.

Watson had demanded a trade shortly before that scandal broke, and the word around the league is that his legal situation hasn't changed his stance or his desire to leave Houston as soon as possible.

Dolphins Continue To Pursue Watson

Watson had gauged plenty of interest around the league, with the Miami Dolphins at the top of the candidate list.

And, according to ProFootballTalks' Mike Florio, the Dolphins were actually close to pulling the trigger on a deal. Then, the Texans backpedaled as they feel his legal situation could be cleared soon:

"A week ago, the Texans and Dolphins were closing in on a deal for quarterback Deshaun Watson. Per multiple sources, the Dolphins wanted Watson to settle the 22 civil lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct during massage therapy sessions. Per multiple sources, once the Texans caught wind of the growing possibility that the 22 civil lawsuits would be settled, their price for Watson went up," reported Florio.

Legal Nightmare Ending?

Watson was willing to waive his no-trade clause to play for the Dolphins, something he didn't agree to do for any of the other teams interested in his services.

So, with all the leverage and the hope that either the Dolphins overpay or that he gets cleared to play, the Texans simply drove his trade value up.

"With no deal ever in place (and the Dolphins would concede that a deal was never reached), the Texans were free to ask for more, if/when they sensed that the Dolphins would be getting Watson with one of the two major branches of his legal portfolio resolved. (The 10 pending criminal complaints will remain in place until a grand jury decides whether to charge Watson.)" Florio's report added.

Watson Not Likely To Play This Season

The NFL hasn't officially put Deshaun Watson on administrative leave, yet the Texans haven't activated him this season for obvious reasons.

But even if he reaches a settlement for the 22 civil lawsuits, he's not likely to be cleared to play this season while the league conducts its own investigation:

"We don't have all the access to that information & pride ourselves on not interfering with it. That process is ongoing," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said about his situation. "We don't feel we have that necessary information to place him on the exempt list."

That could change as soon as his legal situation gets clearer.

What About Tua Tagovailoa?

As for the Miami Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa is once again in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

The sophomore quarterback has been unimpressive throughout the season but it's not like he's been in a good position either. Also, the trade rumors may not do much to help his case.

Miami's fixation on getting Watson only means that they don't trust Tua as their franchise quarterback going forward, so expect his name to be on multiple trade rumors as soon as the season ends.

Two Teen Girls Face Conspiracy to Commit Murder Charges in High School Bullying Incident

Two 13-year-old girls from Laville Jr./Sr. High School in Lakeville, Indiana were arrested last Friday on conspiracy to commit murder charges reports WTHR. The arrests come after a bullying plot came to the attention of school officials.

The plot involved a list of students' names that 13-year-olds wanted to harm at a school dance. The dance was to begin in the afternoon on Friday. Indiana State Police were contacted by noon that day and went to Laville Jr./Sr. High School to investigate.

Teenagers in Custody

The two teenagers are now in custody at Thomas N. Frederick Juvenile Justice Center in South Bend, Indiana. This, after school administrators learned that the students had made a list of names of students they wanted to harm.

The list was then circulated on social media. The students were arrested and detained at Thomas N. Frederick Juvenile Justice Center. The Indiana State Police for the Breman Post have issued a statement, saying that the charges are Intimidation and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

The Hit List

The District Attorney's office in Lakeville has yet to make a determination on this case. However the girls are being accused of making a hit list. After they were taken into custody on Friday afternoon, they attended a hearing on the charges. They have been ordered to stay in custody. It is unknown at this time if either of the teens has retained an attorney. The school community is baffled as to how the two middle-schoolers came to this plot in the first place.

Lakeville Residents Concerned

Lakeville residents are concerned that a plot such as this has happened in their own community, with their own children. WSBT reports that one resident of the town named David Dossman said,

"It kind of puts concern for anybody in that school, especially with them being at such a young age."

It is unclear exactly how school officials became aware of the threats. When the school learned of the threats, the state police were called and attended the school to investigate.

Details of the threats remain unclear. It is possible that this is a bullying situation that has gone completely out of hand due to the recklessness on the parts of the teenage girls.

Impulsive and Scary Children

David Dossman told WSBT that he found the kids impulsive.

"Kids are so impulsive and they don't understand ramifications at all and it upsets the community, upsets everyone, why in their minds they thought they were going to try and harm people. "

He also said the seriousness needs to be addressed upon the children and their parents, and hopes that the other students in the community are taking notes.

Shock is the prevailing emotion in Lakeville, Indiana, on this matter at this time.

The teens will appear in court again but individually, with the court dates of November 5 and November 8 set at this time.

Lakers Russell Westbrook Clears The Air On His Mid-Game 'Cripwalk'

Russell Westbrook hadn't played a single minute for the Los Angeles Lakers and he was already drawing contrasting takes.

Several analysts said that he wasn't a good fit next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis and that trading away their team's depth for a non-shooting, ball-dominant guard wasn't a recipe for success.

Fast-forward to today and Westbrook has done little to silence those critics. If anything, he's made the news for what he's done on the court, but not exactly basketball-related.

Westbrook's 'Cripwalk' Goes Viral

Westbrook became viral for getting hyped during the Lakers' 113-101 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers a couple of days ago.

The former MVP was taking the ball up the floor when 'G'd Up' by Tha Eastsidaz went on at the STAPLES Center. He crossed midcourt by Cripwalking and dribbling the ball and the internet had a blast with it.

Westbrook, born and raised in Los Angeles, clearly wanted to pay homage to his roots now that he's finally playing for his home team.

Mid-Game Dancing

Needless to say, people had plenty to say about Westbrook's little act, which is why he didn't hesitate to just clear the air and explain what was going through his mind:

"All I heard was the music and I was like, 'Oh, this is my joint right here.' This is my …' And then my feet start moving. That's just how it works with me. So, I love to dance and it's something that I kind of enjoy doing. So, it kind of happened in the middle of the game but, you know, enjoying it. But that also goes to what I mentioned after that game about just our swag and my energy. That's who I am and in order for us to be who we need to be, I need to be who I am and be free and do things where, to me, it feels normal," the point guard said, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Russ' Performances Draw Criticism

Westbrook knows that some people aren't exactly fond of his game, let alone him dancing right in the middle of a game. However, he's unfazed by criticism:

"And I'm OK with that. But that brings a good energy to my team and my teammates, and it puts us in a happy place. I always remember, throughout a season and throughout a game, you always want to make sure you're having fun — win, lose or draw. Because if you're not, it kind of becomes — for me personally — I get so tense. If I'm just super focused and not having no fun then I lose track of kind of what I'm supposed to be doing. So that also is a combination of all that, just having fun, smiling and enjoying the game," he added, per Fadeaway World.

Lakers Still Figuring Things Out

It's going to take a while before the Lakers are all on the same page. They didn't play together for most of the preseason and some pieces are still out with injuries.

Even so, and even after a dismal start of the season, his teammates have Westbrook's back:

"They just said, 'That's just me being me.' You know, I like to joke and enjoy the game and have fun while doing it. But also at the same time, I'm going to compete to the best of my ability and that's just all kind of who I am. And I think some of them didn't notice it right away and after the game everybody was like, 'Oh, I didn't realize you did this throughout the game.' I was like, 'Yep, we needed it today'," Westbrook concluded.

As per usual, it's championship-or-bust for the purple and gold this season. Hopefully, they'll figure things out before it's too late.

As Joe hosted a comedy show at a club, he was joined by Melissa, the mother of his three children, and several other cast members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, including his sister, Teresa Giudice, who just arrived back to the United States after getting engaged to boyfriend Luis Ruelas in Europe.

Amid the show, Melissa took to her Instagram page to applaud her husband's career milestone.

Joe's NYC Performance

Along with a photo of herself and Joe standing in Times Square, Melissa declared herself a "proud wifey" as she admitted she would have never guessed that Joe would be performing on such a grand stage.

"If someone told me 10 years ago that [Joe Gorga] would be performing comedy live on Broadway one day I would never believe them. Proud wifey!! Reach for the stars everyone," she captioned her pic.

Melissa also supported Joe in the comments section of his own post.

Sold Out Crowd

Ahead of Joe's show, the longtime reality star and real estate developer shared a photo of himself standing outside of Caroline's, the New York City comedy club where he was performing.

"Sold out!! See you later," he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

Meanwhile, in the comments section of his post, Melissa applauded his feat by sharing raising hands emoji as Teresa's oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, weighed in.

"Wish I could've been there! So proud of [you]," Gia said to her uncle.

Marriage Drama

Earlier this year, after experiencing marital tension amid the 11th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey months prior, Melissa confirmed she and Joe are in a much better place in their marriage.

"I know we're been married for 16 years, but we are still learning each other. There's different turning points, I would say, in marriages," Melissa told Us Weekly. "Joe is not big on change and he likes things to stay the same. He likes to know that everything's going to be intact and probably, that's what makes him a great husband. But for me, I'm all about change right now."

He also helped clinch the game by catching a two-point conversion to pull off the big upset, as the Jets entered the game as 11.5-point underdogs to the AFC-leading Bengals.

Bettor Cashes $125,000

But the Jets weren't the only ones to get a big win on Sunday. According to ESPN, a 35-year-old fan from New Jersey pocketed $125,000 after betting that Mike White would have the most passing yards on Sunday's slate at a whopping 125-1 odds.

Unsurprisingly, the rookie quarterback had the fourth-largest odds to lead the NFL in passing yards, yet he completely torched the Bengals' defense for 405 passing yards. And, now that Patrick Mahomes and Daniel Jones failed to top that figure on Monday Night Football, this bettor must be thrilled about that pick.

Jets Teammates Shower White In Praise

Needless to say, White's performance didn't go unnoticed by his teammates, either: "He's a dog. He's an animal. He's a savage," running back Ty Johnson said, as quoted by the Boston Globe. "I told him before the game, 'You're a gunslinger, so let's ride.' "

"He deserved that!" RB Michael Carter said of the crowd chanting his name. "You saw what he did out there today."

Head coach Robert Saleh also lauded his quarterback, although he said that it wasn't a surprise to see him perform like that:

"Mike is fantastic," Saleh said. "He's poised, he showed it all throughout camp, all throughout OTAs, that he deserves to be one of those guys and obviously he showed it today."

Even Zach Wilson Was Hyped

Even though they're competing for the starting spot, White said that Zach Wilson reached out to him to congratulate him on such an impressive performance:

"Zach was awesome," White said, according to ProFootballTalk. "He was the first person in the hall when I got off the field to congratulate me. (...) He honestly might have been more juiced up than me. He was texting me during the game. Every play during the game he was texting my phone. Obviously I wasn't answering. He's like, 'Oh, my God, that was awesome.' Then had a big, long congratulations text for me."

It would be a shock to see White take over the starting job once Wilson is back to full strength and maybe we're just getting carried away. But hey, if he strings together a couple of big games, Robert Saleh might have a decision to make.

In 2001, Form founded the production company Platinum Dunes with producer Bradley Fuller and director Michael Bay.

Previously Married To Jordana Brewster

Before romancing Daddario, Form was married to actress Jordana Brewster for 13 years. Soon after going public with their relationship, Form proposed, with the pair announcing their engagement in November 2006.

The Long Island, New York native and the The Fast and the Furious actress were wed on Nevis Island in the Bahamas in May 2007. Brewster, who has also moved on, finding the love of her life in Mason Morfit, opened up about her marriage and "leading parallel lives" in a June essay for Glamour.

While the 28-year-old pop star is the oldest of the three children that "Achy Breaky Heart" hitmaker Billy Ray Cyrus, 60, shares with his actress wife Tish Cyrus, 54, Miley also has two other half-brothers and one half-sister from both her parents' previous relationships.

This brings the Cyrus brood to a total of six now-adult kids, all of whom share Billy's artistic inclinations but one. Here's the scoop on Miley's siblings, from the oldest to the youngest.

Brandi Cyrus

Brandi Cyrus, 34, is the eldest of Miley's siblings, as well as the oldest of the two children that her mom Trish had with her drummer ex-husband Baxter Neal Helson, 54, before marrying Billy Cyrus.

Much like her younger pop star sister, Brandi is also multi-talented, making a name for herself as a DJ, TV host, podcaster, and writer. While she's best known for her Your Favorite Thing podcast, which she co-hosts with The Bachelorette alum Wells Adams, Brandi also co-hosts a podcast and a Bravo reality interior design series with her mom: Sorry We're Stoned and Cyrus vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer, respectively.

When she's not podcasting, Brandi -- followed on Instagram by the likes of Hailey Bieber and Olivia Culpo -- runs the fashion lifestyle website Style Native. Her movie resume includes small roles in Zoey 101 and Old 37.

Trace Cyrus

Miley's older half-brother Trace Cyrus, 32, is Tish and Baxter's second-born. Both he and his older sis Brandi have been adopted by Billy Cyrus.

Just like the former Disney Channel star, Trace is a known musician. He was one half of the band Metro Song, whose song "Shake It" reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Trace started the band in 2006 together with Mason Musso, the older brother of Miley's Hannah Montana co-star Mitchel Musso.

In 2010, the vocalist and guitarist formed the electro-pop band Ashland HIGH, later moving on to a solo career. His most recent EP, Killing the Pain, was released this summer.

Often sharing photos of his famous family on Instagram, Trace is also a fashion designer and has his own clothing company, From Backseats to Bedrooms.

He had a high-profile relationship with actress Brenda Song, with the two becoming engaged in 2011. In 2018, he proposed to singer and Instagram model Taylor Lauren Sanders, but the pair split in early 2020.

Christopher Cody Cyrus

Miley's half-brother Christopher Cody Cyrus, 29, is the child of Billy Cyrus and Kristin Luckey, a waitress from South Carolina that the country singer dated briefly in 1991. Born just seven months before Miley, Christofer is Billy's "lost son," having little ties with the rest of the Cyrus clan.

With Billy finding out his ex was expecting at the same time that Trish was pregnant with Miley, the communication between the musician and his first-born gradually trickled away. However, although Christopher is disappointed in not having a closer relationship with his dad -- he was also excluded from the family's reality show -- he has nothing but praise for Miley.

"She doesn't play the superstar in private. She's a normal teenager having fun and she can laugh at herself," he told The Mirror in 2009. "She's the same now as she was before all this fame. She's still my goofy sister. Miley is not a self-obsessed person at all. She's just trying to have fun while working hard and I don't know anyone who dislikes her."

While the rest of the Cyrus children have pursued careers in entertainment, Christopher has lived his life out of the public eye. The Litigation Associate, who resides in Austin, Texas, married his college sweetheart, proudly sharing photos of his wife and two daughters on social media.

Braison Cyrus

Miley's younger brother, Braison Cyrus, was born one year after the pop star and is also an entertainer. The 27-year-old is an actor, folk singer, and "part-time cranberry farmer," according to his Instagram. He has also modeled for Dolce & Gabbana during 2017 Milan Men's Fashion Week.

Long before his solo music career kicked off in 2018, Braison made appearances in some of Miley's concert films, including Live at the O2 and the Bangerz Tour. With regular live performances in Nashville, his most recent songs include "Glass Between Us" and "Heart is Gold," released in 2020. As far as his movie career, he was in 2006's Heels.

The artist is just as accomplished in his personal life as he is professionally, marrying his longtime girlfriend Stella McBride in 2019. The couple welcomed their first child, son Bear Chance Cyrus, this summer.

Noah Cyrus

Miley's younger sister, Noah Cyrus, 20, is the most famous of all of her siblings. A pop star in her own right, she released her debut single, "Make Me (Cry)" in September 2016, followed by three EPs (Good Cry, The End of Everything, People Don't Change) and one album (NC-17). She's also a Grammy Award nominee and has collaborated with Leon Bridges and Labrinth.

Her music career aside, Noah is also an actress, with a number of small roles on Hannah Montana on her resume. She's also done voiceover work in Disney's The Emperor's New School and Stoney Stories, as well as Hayao Miyazaki's Ponyo.

Noah, who has amassed a following of 5.9 million on Instagram, is a known mental health advocate, often speaking candidly about her struggles with depression and anxiety.

During an Instagram Live last May, she opened up about the pressure of always being compared to her older sis: "That was something that I heard my whole life, every single day, my whole life. And it was either that or that I wasn't enough in some way, whether it was the way I look or the way I am. Like I said the other day, I feel like I don't even breathe right sometimes."

However, Miley and Noah are super close, with the "Wrecking Ball" star saying about her little sister at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards: "She's who I want to be when I grow up."
