A sorry sibling. Thomas Markle Jr. opened up about telling Prince Harry not to marry his sister Meghan Markle ahead of their royal wedding in 2018.

While appearing on Australia’s Big Brother VIP on Monday, November 8, Thomas, 55, was challenged to write an apology letter.

"Dear Meghan and Harry, the first thing I want to say to both of you is that I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart for the awful, mean letter that I wrote to you prior to your wedding," Thomas read from his letter, according to Page Six.

In a 2018 letter to Harry, 37, exclusively published by InTouch at the time, Thomas called his sister, now 40, a "jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage.”

The handwritten note didn’t change Harry’s mind, and he and Meghan said “I do” on May 19, 2018. Three years later, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still married, and Thomas regrets sending the message.

"I want both of you to know it did not come from the real person that I am, but came from a very dark and hurt part of my heart,” the reality TV contestant said on the show. “I am not a mean person at all, and I have more love inside me to give than anything."

Meghan, who has a different mother than Thomas but shares father Thomas Markle Sr., referred to her siblings as "distant family" at the time of her nuptials.

Earlier this year, the Bench author said that she “grew up as an only child” in her and Harry’s CBS tell-all special in March. The California native added, “I wished I had siblings," confirming that she hadn’t seen half-sister Samantha Markle in nearly 20 years.

Meghan didn’t directly touch on her relationship with Thomas Jr. at the time. Her half-brother, however, previously explained that he moved out of the family home when she was a toddler.

Still, he claimed they had an “amazing bond” as children, despite their 15-year age gap.

"I was very hurt and confused because of the amazing bond and relationship we shared growing up together and all I could do was put up a defense wall to protect my heart," Thomas Jr. said on the Australian show, adding, "I know that it was very immature and wrong and I truly regret it."

Meghan and Harry now have two children of their own, Archie, 2, and Lilibet, 5 months. The babies haven’t met their mother’s half-siblings or father yet.

RHONJ's Jacqueline's Daughter Ashlee's Estranged Husband Denies Cheating

Not on good terms? Ashlee Holmes Malleo seemingly accused her estranged husband, Pete Malleo, of cheating on her in a recent Instagram post — but he denied the accusations in an exclusive statement to Us Weekly.

The 30-year-old star, whose mom is Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jacqueline Laurita, threw shade at her former flame on Sunday, November 7.

"My husband is busy f–king some busted looking whore," Ashlee replied after an Instagram fan asked whether she and Pete, 36, planned to have any more kids, according to Page Six. The comments have since been hidden on her post.

The "Your Mom Friends" podcast cohost, who shares 5-year-old son Cameron with her estranged spouse, noted that "maybe one day" she will have another child. When another user expressed sadness over her romance woes, Ashlee replied, "Don't be. I'm fine lol."

Pete told Us in a statement on Monday, November 8, "I never cheated," despite what his estranged wife hinted at in her post.

"Ashlee and I have been separated and living apart since August and we are currently going through a divorce," he continued. "At this point, I am focused only on our son and continuing to show him unconditional love. As such, I will not be making any further comment to any news outlets. I am hopeful that Ashlee and I can resolve our divorce in a private manner outside of the public eye for the sake of our son."

The Nevada native initially posted a photo of her son wearing a Notorious B.I.G. tee on Saturday, November 6, reflecting on how big he is now.

"My baby doesn't look like a baby anymore and I'm just trying to figure out when that happened………. 🙃⏳," she captioned the snap, which now has the comments turned off.

The same day, Pete shared a message via his Instagram profile about his career in music, which Ashlee supported.

"I've been playing music with these guys since I was 19 years old. I'm grateful to be able to continue writing songs with them 16 years later," he captioned a black-and-white band photo. "It feels weird to say, 'Check out my band' at 36. We have lives and careers outside of our music, but it feels good to continue to create. That's what this is all about. I'm excited to share with you what we've created over the past year."

Ashlee, for her part, sang Pete's praises, commenting, "Proud of you."

Two days later, Pete denied any alleged infidelity in a statement to Page Six on Monday, claiming, "All I did was friend request someone and liked some photos. I then asked that person to hang out. I clarified that I'm single. We are going through a divorce."

Ashlee also addressed the rumored cheating allegations, telling the publication in a statement that she "never said that Pete cheated on me," instead that was something her fans insinuated took place.

"What the public put together based on what I said in my Instagram stories is on them … However, if Pete is going to make a statement, then it's only fair that I respond," she said on Monday. "This is the last I will say on the matter, as I am disgusted by all of this. Facts are facts. Pete has in fact cheated on me in the past. He had an online flirtation with a girl where pictures were exchanged throughout the first year of our relationship, ending somewhere around three months into my pregnancy."

Ashlee claimed that Pete's past fling only ended because she confronted the woman. She also alleged that Pete recently told her that he was not "seeing anyone," which Ashlee later learned was false. She pointed to DMs from the unnamed woman as proof that he was talking to someone new and deceiving her about it.

"There are a lot of other factors as to why our marriage wasn't working. Including him not wanting to go to therapy with me," she continued, stating that they've separated in the past and got back together. "He was given many opportunities to be truthful, and he chose not to. For Pete to say that all he did was friend request 'someone' and 'like some photos' is a gross understatement. I will not allow him to change the narrative."

Ashlee gave her ex a shout-out for his parenting skills on Monday, but she noted that they are currently at odds amid the alleged DMs with a girl that he supposedly hid him from her.

"Pete is an excellent father when he chooses to be with Cameron. I wish we could continue to co-parent in the way we had been lately," she said in the Monday statement. "However, after this display, I just don't see how … I have yet to hear anything from Pete in regard to her DMs to me and all of this aside from his statement to the press."

Ashlee and Pete tied the knot in August 2018. They announced via social media in July 2020 that they had split. As of February, however, the twosome had reconciled — but they called it quits again six months later.

"Remembering the passing of the great Alex Trebek a year ago today," Mayim Bialik, who is the temporary part-time host of the show, tweeted on Monday, November 8. "Alex was a legendary entertainer, philanthropist, and lover of life. We miss you, Alex."

Ken Jennings, who returned to guest host the game show on Monday for the first time since February, marked the anniversary of Trebek's death with a touching video message.

"I miss Alex a lot," the former champion, 47, who will host the show for three weeks, said in a clip via Jeopardy!'s Twitter. "When I'm in here, I feel like he's in the building somewhere. It's hard not to talk about him in the present tense."

Jennings recalled the first time he guest hosted the beloved show, just weeks after Trebek died at the age of 80 from pancreatic cancer. He explained in the video tribute that the longtime host's wife, Jean Currivan, left a special gift for him at the time.

"Alex's wife Jean had given me a pair of his cufflinks that he had worn on the show. She thought about Jeopardy! and she thought about me, a person she had never even met," he said, noting he wears the accessory anytime he's on the set. "My Alex Trebrek cufflinks are the only cufflinks I own. They are kind of a good luck charm for me here."

Currivan, for her part, shared an inspirational video via social media on Monday in celebration of her late husband's life. The clip, which featured Alex discussing The Compassion Project before his passing, pushed for kindness, empathy and compassion in the classroom.

"My beloved husband passed away one year ago … one of his final messages was that of the importance of having compassion for each other," she captioned the video. "In honor of Alex’s beautiful and powerful life."

EVERFI, a digital learning company, explained in the message that they will be providing an additional 100 elementary schools with access to the Compassion Project in honor of the Hollywood icon.

Trebek's death left a huge hole within the Jeopardy! family, especially when it came to who should take over his hosting gig. In August, the network announced that executive producer Mike Richards would be the full-time host with Bialik, 45, hosting primetime specials.

However, Richards, 46, later stepped away from the role after offensive comments about women and the Jewish community that he made in the past resurfaced. He apologized for his actions and then walked away from the show completely.

In response, Sony TV announced that the Big Bang Theory alum would split the hosting duties with Jennings until a permanent replacement is named.

Producers for the long-running series recently let go of the German-born actor, 50, Us Weekly confirms. "His separation from General Hospital was prior to today and was because he declined to comply with the production's vaccine mandate,” a source told Us on Monday, November 8.

The Alex Cross star has previously been outspoken about his opposition to vaccine requirements, which vary by production. As recently as Sunday, November 7, he shared an Instagram photo of himself with the caption, “I will stand with you to fight for medical freedom,” adding the hashtag “#nomandates.”

The Dancing With the Stars alum also made headlines over the weekend for reposting a transphobic tweet via Instagram on Sunday. The meme included photos of Dr. Rachel Levine, the first transgender person to earn a four-star rank in the United States uniformed services, and newly elected Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears. “Hello, and welcome to ClownTown, where the dude on the left is an empowering woman, and the woman on the right is a white supremacist,” the caption on the tweet read.

Some of Rademacher’s General Hospital costars quickly criticized him for the post. “I am aware of a transphobic post shared by a fellow General Hospital actor,” Cassandra James, who is transgender, tweeted on Sunday. “Shame on you. You have some serious unlearning and education to do. I feel deeply disappointed that such a public display of ignorance could come from our GH family.”

Nancy Lee Grahn, another General Hospital star, confirmed on Monday that Rademacher is “mercifully” no longer part of the cast. “Transphobia & misgendering are disgusting & should be unacceptable in any industry, including soaps/acting,” the 7th Heaven alum, 65, tweeted. “I stand with my costar, @cassandrajames_, & the trans community.”

After the backlash, Rademacher posted a video on Monday apologizing for not crossing out the word “dude” in the post. "Me personally, I wouldn't have written it that way,” he said via Instagram. “But the comparison there is just pointing out the hypocrisy of the left-wing media.”

The former Bold and the Beautiful star also apologized to James, 29, in the video. “I think you're an absolute talent and you're very beautiful as well,” he said. “I don't think a transphobic man would say that.” He added that he would address the status of his job on General Hospital at a later date.

His final episode of General Hospital will air on ABC Monday, November 22, TVLine reports.

Why Simone Biles Is Distancing Herself From 'Dumpster Fire' USA Gymnastics

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 03:25 PM PST

Putting her mental health first. Simone Biles has become an advocate for taking care of emotional well-being, and the Olympic gymnast will only compete again if it won’t negatively impact her mental health, she told Us Weekly exclusively.

“Everything that I’ve been through with the organization of USAG just makes for a sticky situation,” Biles, 24, explained to Us while promoting the Gold Over America Tour with Jordan Chiles. “It just sucks. And it’s, like, I love the sport so much, but I feel like it’s just a hit to the gut every time something comes out or new information has been revealed.”

In September, the Olympic gold medalist testified in a US Senate hearing where she slammed USA Gymnastics as well as the government officials and other organizations who didn’t properly investigate Dr. Larry Nassar after many gymnasts accused him of sexual abuse.

"We suffered and continue to suffer, because no one at FBI, USAG, or the USOPC did what was necessary to protect us," Biles said at the time.

Now, she isn’t sure she can feel at ease working with those sports organizations.

“I love the sport. I love the people that I work with. I love the girls that I trained with, but those organizations, it’s just like — ugh!” Biles told Us. “It’s just like a huge dumpster fire that we’re trying to get rid of and that I’m trying to stay as far away from so that my mental health can be intact and if I do decide to train again that I have a clean slate.”

The Ohio native emphasized that she has nothing but love for her coaches and fellow gymnasts, but her body clearly indicated that she needs to make sure her mind is right before competing. Biles had to back out of several competitions at this year’s summer Olympics after she experienced “the twisties.”

“The mental aspect obviously got me during Tokyo and it’s, like, some of those things you can’t ignore and my body didn’t ignore,” she said.

Biles, who has been performing on the Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour throughout the fall, continued, “If we can keep that under control, I would love to train again. But then, at the end of the day, if it costs me my peace, I’m going to step away. And I’m completely fine with stepping away because I’ve been through so much. I’ve accomplished so much.”

Silver medalist Chiles told Us that she and their fellow tour mates (including Grace McCallum, MyKayla Skinner, Jade Carey and more) put all of their support behind Biles regardless of what she wants to do with her life.

“All we’ve been doing is supporting her and making sure that her mind is in the right space and all that stuff, so she can continue with doing what she wants,” Chiles said. “This girl is crazy, this girl is out of this world. She has a huge future ahead of her, if it’s in gymnastics or it’s not. It just depends because that’s how strong she is and that’s all we can do is just support her.”

For now, the two are focused on Gold Over America livestream. The tour wrapped up on Sunday, November 7, but fans will have a chance to watch the high energy gymnastics show online for one day only.

“It’s more of a pop show/gymnastics concert type deal. We have gymnast, we have dancers. We have the whole shebang and it’s really exciting, very upbeat,” Biles added. “Some of the good hit songs that make you want to get up on your feet and dance as well as some of the best gymnasts in the world.”

Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour will be streaming on the Stellar platform for 24 hours on Saturday, December 4 starting at 4 p.m. ET.

Speaking out. Emilio Estevez addressed speculation surrounding his exit from Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, clarifying that he doesn’t hold anti-vaccine views.

Celebrities Who've Tested Positive for COVID-19

The 59-year-old Outsiders star told Deadline on Monday, November 8, that his decision was “nothing more than a good old fashioned contract dispute” and “a myriad of creative differences,” while also noting that he previously contracted COVID-19 last year.

“I am not anti-vaxx. Full stop,” Estevez said in his lengthy statement. “I take this pandemic very seriously, and I am often teased about my continued following of the safety protocols and my abundance of caution. … While I can’t speak for anyone else in regards to this polarizing, sensitive issue, I have my own lived experience.”

Martin Sheen‘s son recalled not feeling well in February 2020 after filming the pilot for the Disney+ series, which premiered earlier this year. He claimed that he had “already started wearing face coverings, gloves and using hand sanitizer” when he made the drive to Vancouver when production began “due to news of ‘an emerging disease,’ which would eventually be known as ‘Covid 19.'”

While driving back to California, he “became noticeably ill” and “begged several doctors to be tested” for coronavirus.

“After multiple efforts, I finally received a car side Covid 19 PCR test on March 13, 2020. I continued to become increasingly sick, suffering from fever, sweats, brain fog and mood swings,” the Breakfast Club actor continued. “On March 17, 2020 I got word I had indeed contracted Covid 19. Thankfully I refrained from visiting my elderly parents and others until I received my results. I had discussions with doctors and contact tracing personnel from the L.A. County Department of Health. I suffered the summer and fall of 2020 from what we now know as ‘Long Haul Syndrome.'”

Upon returning to the Mighty Ducks series last summer, Estevez “reluctantly soldiered on” with work, but said he “was uncertain about how I would be safe on set.” Though he “questioned the wisdom” of filming “in the middle of a pandemic,” the star alleged that he was “repeatedly told” by producers, “You have natural immunity! You’ll be the safest one on set.”

Estevez continued, “So I returned to Vancouver. I followed the Canadian quarantine mandate as well as the strict ‘Zone A’ on set Covid protocols. I did not complain, nor did I release my diagnosis to the public. I wanted to try and preserve the show morale and be a leader, however, while still suffering from Long Haul Syndrome. The legacy of the franchise was more important to me than my own health. In retrospect, I wrongly chose to protect the show over being transparent about having contracted Covid-19.”

Us Weekly confirmed on Friday, November 5, that Estevez would not be returning to the Mighty Ducks spinoff for its second season. Deadline reported at the time that the show required all actors and crew to be vaccinated against COVID-19. However, the St. Elmo’s Fire star asserted on Monday that his departure was due to being “anti-bully,” not anti-vaccine.

“To the fans of the franchise — I am as disappointed as you are. To my Ducks cast and crew — have a wonderful Season 2 on the show and please know that I will miss you all,” he concluded. “It was an honor and a thrill to be able to return as the iconic and beloved character, Gordon Bombay, a character which has been a celebrated benchmark in my 40-year career. And I thank the studio and the producers for creating an opportunity to allow me to visit him again. Ducks Fly Together!”

Standing her ground. Meri Brown‘s partnership with LuLaRoe has been called into question by her fans after the company was accused of being a pyramid scheme.

The reality star, 50, showed her support for LuLaRoe on Thursday, November 4, writing via Instagram, “Two weeks ago, I was in Florida for LuLaRoe Leadership training. I had the privilege of rubbing shoulders with these two amazing humans, feeling their spirit and seeing first hand the love and compassion they have for their family of retailers.”

Brown expressed her appreciation for LuLaRoe founders DeAnne Brady and Mark Stidham, who were recently the subjects of Amazon’s documentary LuLaRich.

“@deannelularoe and her husband Mark are literally a couple of the most giving people I know. They want success for me and my business for ME, not for them. The reason they got into this business was to help others,” the Sister Wives star continued. “That was their point back then, that is their purpose now. To know these people, to really know their hearts, is to love them.”

The California native explained that being part of the clothing company's supportive network gave her a sense of purpose.

“The community they have created, this family of friends and retailers, this community of people lifting each other and wanting the best for others, that’s where it’s at, y’all. We have each other’s backs. We support each other. We watch each other grow and cheer each other on,” she added on Thursday. “This business isn’t just about selling clothes. It’s about service, gratitude, and joy. It’s about compassion and friendship. It’s about you and it’s about me. I’m loud and proud LuLaRoe!”

Brown’s social media post was met with mixed reactions. One fan praised the TLC personality, replying, “When you have a good heart yourself you tend to be honored to be in the presence of other amazing souls. Love your inspiration 💜.”

Meanwhile, another social media user asked, “Why is anyone still purchasing and filling these people's pockets?! There is nothing inspirational about any of this!” A third commentator questioned whether Brown was aware of the recent controversy, responding, “Didn't you watch the documentary about this? They ruined so many people.”

LuLaRoe’s empire was explored in Amazon’s September miniseries LuLaRich. The doc interviewed Brady, 62, and Stidham, who initially started the company in 2012. Brady and Stidham denied the claims and noted that LuLaRoe was still in business amid its legal issues.

Sister Wives fans have also wondered whether Christine Brown, who recently split from Kody Brown, is still involved with the company. Kody, 52, is currently married to both Meri and Robyn Brown, but he and Christine, 49, announced their separation earlier this month.

At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”

Following Kody and Christine’s split, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Meri “has become very independent” in her marriage after more than 30 years.

“She and Kody have had zero relationship — it’s all fake,” the insider shared at the time. “They’re together for TV, essentially.”

RHOSLC’s Jen Shah Claimed Husband Had 'Internal Bleeding' on Day of Arrest

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 01:19 PM PST

Jen Shah was indicted for her alleged role in a long-running telemarketing scheme while filming season 2 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — and all eyes are on the Bravo star as she faces up to 50 years in prison.

Bravo viewers met Shah during season 1 of RHOSLC, which filmed in 2019 and aired in 2020. She quickly became a polarizing character on the franchise, with fans questioning her job and need for several assistants.

"People will come to me and I'll invest in their companies, so we have a got a lot of different investments, all different kinds of things," Shah said of her career on Access Hollywood's "Housewives Nightcap" in November 2020. "I've been able to do it because what I've been able to carve out, the niche I've been able to carve out in the direct response marketing world."

Not long after production began on season 2 of RHOSLC, which also stars Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow and Mary Cosby, news broke on March 30 that Shah and one of her assistants who appeared on the show, Stuart Smith, were arrested in Utah.

"Jennifer Shah, who portrays herself as a wealthy and successful businessperson on 'reality' television, and Stuart Smith, who is portrayed as Shah's 'first assistant,' allegedly generated and sold 'lead lists' of innocent individuals for other members of their scheme to repeatedly scam," Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said in a press release. "In actual reality and as alleged, the so-called business opportunities pushed on the victims by Shah, Smith, and their co-conspirators were just fraudulent schemes, motivated by greed, to steal victims' money. Now, these defendants face time in prison for their alleged crimes."

HSI Special Agent-in-Charge Peter C. Fitzhugh claimed that Shah and Smith "built their opulent lifestyle at the expense of vulnerable, often elderly, working-class people."

"Shah and Smith objectified their very real human victims as 'leads' to be bought and sold, offering their personal information for sale to other members of their fraud ring," Fitzhugh said. "Working with our partners at the NYPD and the United States Attorney's Office, SDNY, and with the assistance of HSI Salt Lake City, HSI New York worked to ensure that Shah and Smith will answer for their alleged crimes. As a result, their new reality may very well turn out differently than they expected."

A source told Us Weekly at the time that Shah is "embarrassed" by the scandal, which included NYPD detectives, Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York working together.

"Jen is really humiliated that all of this is happening in the public eye and that it will be shown on Bravo," the source told Us on March 31, noting at the time that Shah hasn't "been talking to her castmates or friends" following her arrest.

Scroll through for a breakdown of the charges and everything we know about Shah's legal drama:

This is an ongoing article that was originally published in March 2021 and last updated on Monday, November 8.

Jen's Job in Her Own Words
“I own three different marketing companies and we do lead generation, data monetization, customer acquisition. The best way to describe it is, I’m the Wizard of Oz, I’m the one behind the curtain that no one knows exists but I’m the one making everything happen,” Shah told Access Hollywood in November 2020. “So, ads are popping to you guys and they’re like, ‘How the hell do they know I’m shopping at Neiman Marcus?’ That’s me.” She continued: “If you think about it, you know how much traffic is on the internet every second, all the people clicking. I’m making money on every click, anytime you click on anything I’m getting some money. I think because I’ve been blessed to be successful with my marketing background and my companies, I’ve really found a niche within the direct response marketing world. I’ve been able to branch out and invest in our fashion company, our skincare line, our lash line.”   Rick Bowmer/AP/Shutterstock
The Accusations
Shah and Smith’s alleged roles in the telemarketing scheme include defrauding “hundreds” of people, many over the age of 55, by selling “lead lists” for fictitious business opportunities. Courtesy Jen Shah/Instagram
The Timeline
According to the press release, Shah and Smith’s alleged involvement in the scheme stems back to 2012. While they were indicted in March 2021, the case dates back to 2019 and 10 others — Anthony Cheedie, Chad Allen, Shane Hanna Cameron Brewster, Kevin Handren, Joseph Ciaccio, Joseh Minetto, Joseph Depaola, Derek Larkin and Mattie Cirilo — who were previously charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. The Charges
Shah was booked on conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Filming 'RHOSLC' Season 2
Us confirmed that the Bravo cameras were rolling on the day of Shah’s arrest. “Jen was filming with a few of the other women present when she was arrested. The women were completely shocked when Jen was taken away,” the source told Us, noting that the group was gearing up for a trip to Colorado at the time. Another source told Us on March 31 that the cast “resumed filming after Jen’s arrest” without her. “Jen’s future this season remains unclear. If she will go back to filming or not, no one is really sure, she hasn’t resumed filming yet,” the source said at the time. Chad Kirkland/Bravo
The 1st Court Appearance
Following Shah’s arrest, she appeared before a Utah judge on March 30. The judge set the following conditions for her and Smith: must commit no federal offense upon release, must appear as required, no traveling outside of Utah with the exception of New York City court, no international travel, no contact with co-defendants and no engagement in telemarketing. They were subsequently seen leaving the Utah court and ignored all reporters' questions as they headed to their cars. Bravo
The Arraignment
Shah was set to be arraigned virtually on March 31 but couldn’t dial in because too many people were on the line. Judge Sidney Stein subsequently decided to continue Shah and Smith's arraignment to April 2 at 11 a.m. ET. Heidi Gutman/Bravo
The Plea
Shah called into her hearing on April 2 and pleaded not guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. She sought counsel from her local Utah lawyer, Clayton Simms, and from known white collar crime defense attorney Henry Asbill, who works out of Washington, D.C. Bail Conditions
During the April 2 hearing, the judge set Shah’s bail at $1 million, giving her one week to pay the required $250,000 “to secure that bond in cash or property.” "There is a risk of flight here. It's not insubstantial,” the judge said. “I’m going to release her on the following conditions: I am going to require a personal recognizance bond of $1 million. I am going to require $250,000 to secure that bond in cash or property. She will have one week to comply." Shah’s lawyer then asked for two weeks to secure the bond, which the judge approved, but noted that Shah must sign the $1 million personal recognizance bond by the end of the day. Other conditions of her bail included no drug use or excessive alcohol, not being allowed to open any bank accounts and continued mental health treatments.  Bravo
Jen's Assets
The Bravo star’s attorney told the court that Shah doesn’t own her home — which was labeled as “Jen’s Chalet” on the series — or any real property. The government also alleged that she has not willingly disclosed her assets amid the investigation. When asked about her employment outside of telemarketing, her lawyer told the judge, “She's in the fashion business and on a news show as well … The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City." Filming Update
A source told Us exclusively in April that RHOSLC is “still filming” amid Shah’s legal drama. “Production sees this as a great storyline. One that everyone will want to see unfold,” the insider said. “It’s ratings gold. They're going to use as much footage as they can that they're legally allowed to use.” Fred Hayes/Bravo
Request Denied
Shah filed a motion to dismiss her case, but it was denied by the judge in August 2021, Us Weekly confirms. In her initial ask, she was hoping charges would be dismissed. Additionally, her attorney, Daniel R. Alonso, along with colleagues Henry W. Asbill and Michael S. Chum, announced their resignation. Shah has retained attorney Priya Chaudhry, of ChaudhryLaw PLLC, to represent her in the case moving forward, according to the court documents. Rick Bowmer/AP/Shutterstock

Celebrating love. Prince William and Duchess Kate rang in their 10-year wedding anniversary with a one of a kind photo shoot — and photographer Chris Floyd recalled exclusively to Us Weekly how in sync the couple was that day.

“I would say that they were just like any married couples,” Floyd told Us. “They were just like any married couple who seemed to just love being very happy in each other’s company. It was that straightforward.”

William, 39, and Kate, also 39, who tied the knot in 2011 after eight years of dating, effortlessly led the photo session as they reflected on their years of marriage.

“I just said, ‘Look, this is your 10th anniversary, just be the couple that you are with each other and forget that I’m here. ‘And just forget about me,” Floyd detailed of the April shoot that honored the duo’s relationship milestone. “They don’t need me to tell them how to be with each other.”

For the professional photographer, getting to capture the twosome in their home allowed for the final photos to be a representation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

“It was their home and I was made to feel welcome in their home. … I have to say like by the time I left that day I felt like I’d known them for years. It was just a real whirlwind of a day,” he noted. “The day itself was kind of just like a normal shoot day. It was like going to anyone else’s … I mean it’s not like anyone else’s house, but it was the same as going to someone else’s house. It was just a slightly grander version of most houses.”

The pair, who share Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3, shared the highlights of that day with two portraits and a family video.

"Thank you to everyone for the kind messages on our wedding anniversary. We are enormously grateful for the 10 years of support we have received in our lives as a family. W&C," their official Instagram read in April, alongside a video which followed the parents with their little ones as they roasted s’mores.

One month later, William and Kate returned to the place where they originally met during their royal tour of Scotland.

"It was here in Scotland — 20 years ago this year — that I first met Catherine," William gushed during an appearance at The Church of Scotland in May. "Needless to say, the town where you meet your future wife holds a very special place in your heart."

While reflecting on the very memorable job with the royals, Floyd is also looking forward to photographing people arriving in the U.K. for the first time since the travel ban for British Airways.

“If I’m not crying by lunchtime, it will be a really disappointing day. That’s what I’ll say. It’s supposed to be emotional. I want it to be emotional,” he told Us, referencing the career opportunity. “It’s been a perfect career for someone who kind of likes to know a little bit about a lot of things.”

Floyd detailed his interest in getting to see people reuniting in real life.

“We’ve got lots of people on that flight who has some kind of connection with someone in New York. Well, the states generally. But I think probably New York specifically,” he shared. “It’s definitely people just wanting to see people that they missed and I think that’s the exciting thing.”

Alec Baldwin Calls for Police Officers on Set After ‘Rust’ Tragedy

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 11:54 AM PST

While filming his movie Rust on Thursday, October 21, Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that injured the director and killed another crew member.

The incident occurred at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico. According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department, the weapon was “discharged” by the 30 Rock alum, 63, and Deadline later reported that production on the Western was paused.

“Mr. Baldwin came in voluntarily to speak with investigators,” sheriff’s office spokesman Juan Ríos noted in a statement, asserting that the situation would be treated like “any other investigation.”

Detectives were trying to determine “what type of projectile was discharged” as the set remained on lockdown. The victims — director Joel Souza and director of photography Halyna Hutchins — were rushed to receive medical attention after being struck. Hutchins, 42, was pronounced dead at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.

The 48-year-old filmmaker, for his part, was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center via helicopter. While his condition was initially unknown, Deadline was told by Souza’s rep that he was released from the hospital on Friday, October 22.

The movie’s production company, Rust Movie Productions LLC, noted in a statement regarding the accident, “The entire cast and crew has been absolutely devastated by today’s tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Halyna’s family and loved ones. We have halted production on the film for an undetermined period of time and are fully cooperating with the Santa Fe Police Department’s investigation. We will be providing counseling services to everyone connected to the film as we work to process this awful event.”

Hutchins was originally from the Ukraine and had been sharing updates about the filming process with her Instagram followers ahead of her death. “One of the perks of shooting a western is you get to ride horses on your day off:),” she captioned a video of herself on Wednesday, October 20, as she joined a group on horseback.

The Emmy winner broke his silence on Hutchins’ death on Friday via Twitter, writing, “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

Before Baldwin addressed the incident, tributes poured in for the late cinematographer.

“I’m in shock. I was so lucky to have had Halyna Hutchins as my DP on ‘Archenemy,'” Joe Manganiello tweeted. “An incredible talent & great person. I can't believe this could happen in this day and age… gunfire from a prop gun could kill a crew member? What a horrible tragedy. My heart goes out to her family.”

Ava DuVernay left a comment on casting director Sidra Smith‘s Instagram post about Hutchins, writing, “Devastating. Absolutely horrific. Blessings to you during this difficult time, Sidra. And may her soul be at rest.”

Who Is Halyna Hutchins?
Hutchins was working as director of photography on Rust and was named one of American Cinematography's "rising stars" in the profession in 2019. She previously contributed to 2019's Darlin' and 2020's Blindfire, as well as AMC's The Walking Dead. She was pronounced dead on Thursday at University of New Mexico Hospital. Who Is Joel Souza?
Souza is a California-based writer and director whose previous credits include 2015's Ghost Squad, 2017's Break Night and 2019's Crown Vic. According to Deadline, he was released from the hospital early Friday morning after sustaining injuries on set. Ron Adar/SOPA Images/Shutterstock
Were There Charges?
As of Thursday, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s office was in the midst of an "open and active" investigation, but no arrests were made. Baldwin was questioned by investigators — as were other members of the crew — but no charges were filed. Andrew H. Walker/Shutterstock
How Did Two People Get Shot?
Only one round was discharged, and it grazed Souza but hit Hutchins in her shoulder, per The Los Angeles Times. Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Why Was the Gun Loaded?
That is the question investigators are still trying to answer. The assistant director called out “cold gun” when handing Baldwin the weapon, the AD wrote in an affidavit, according to the New York Times. “Cold” means no ammunition is in the gun. The crew member “did not know live rounds were in the prop gun,” Detective Joel Cano declared in an affidavit. Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock
Why Did Crew Members Walk Off Set Earlier That Day?
The LA Times reports that several crew members walked off set to protest working conditions hours ahead of the fatal accident. They accused the production of not properly following safety protocols, including gun inspections. The workers claimed that there were two accidental gun discharges on set before, with Baldwin’s stunt double allegedly firing a gun that was announced as “cold” only to find a live round in it. “There should have been an investigation into what happened,” a crew member alleged to the LA Times. “There were no safety meetings. There was no assurance that it wouldn’t happen again. All they wanted to do was rush, rush, rush.” Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
How Are Other Sets Reacting?
Many film and TV sets are taking action and vowing not to risk having “hot” or “live” — meaning loaded — weapons on set. ABC’s police drama The Rookie has officially banned live rounds. “As of today, it is now policy on The Rookie that all gunfire on set will be with Air Soft guns with CG muzzle flashes added in post,” showrunner Alexi Hawley wrote in a memo obtained by The Hollywood Reporter on Friday, October 22. “There will be no more ‘live’ weapons on the show. The safety of our cast and crew is too important.” Amazon Prime’s The Boys, which is known for its violent action sequences, will also forgo live rounds. Showrunner Eric Kripke, who worked with Rust cast member Jensen Ackles on Supernatural and The Boys, announced the news on Friday via Twitter. “In [Hutchins’] memory, a simple, easy pledge: no more guns with blanks on any of my sets ever. We'll use VFX muzzle flashes. Who's with me?” he wrote. Eric McCandless/ABC/Kobal/Shutterstock
Has It Happened Before?
This is not the first time a prop gun has led to fatalities on a film set. In 1993, the late Brandon Lee was killed during filming for The Crow after an improperly loaded prop gun was fired. His sister, Shannon Lee, reacted to the Rust incident on Thursday. "Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on 'Rust,'" she tweeted via a memorial account set up for her brother. "No one should ever be killed by a gun on a film set. Period." Pressman/Most/Kobal/Shutterstock
Joel Souza Reacts
"I am gutted by the loss of my friend and colleague, Halyna," Souza said in a statement. "She was kind, vibrant, incredibly talented, fought for every inch and always pushed me to be better. My thoughts are with her family at this most difficult time. I am humbled and grateful by the outpouring of affection we have received from our filmmaking community, the people of Santa Fe, and the hundreds of strangers who have reached out. It will surely aid in my recovery." Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Were There Consequences?
According to Deadline, assistant director David Halls, who handed Baldwin a prop gun moments before it was discharged, was "removed from set immediately" after the accident. Producers told the outlet that an incident report was filed and a new assistant director was brought in. Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
The 'Last Photo' of Halyna Hutchins
On October 22, a Rust crewmember named Serge Svetnoy shared a photo of Hutchins that he claimed was taken shortly before the fatal shooting. “This is the last photo with Halyna on set,” he wrote via Facebook. The snapshot showed the cinematographer shooting a scene with Baldwin in a small church on the New Mexico set. Two days later, Svetnoy shared an emotional post in which he revealed that he “was holding [Hutchins] in my arms while she was dying. Her blood was on my hands,” he wrote via Facebook on October 24. In that same message, the electrician stated that, in his opinion, Hutchins’ death was “the fault of negligence and unprofessionalism.” Courtesy of Halyna Hutchins/Instagram
Evidence Recovered
Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed during a press conference on October 27 that a lead bullet was recovered from Souza’s shoulder after he was taken to the hospital. The bullet is believed to be the one that fatally struck Hutchins.  Police also collected approximately 600 items of evidence, including 500 rounds of ammunition from the set, which were a mixture of “blanks, dummy rounds and what we are suspecting were live rounds,” according to Mendoza. More Information on Crew Member Who Handled Firearms
Hannah Gutierrez Reed was the armorer — or person in charge of firearms — on the set of Rust. During a September episode of the “Voices of West” podcast, the former model admitted “the best part” of her job was “just showing people who are normally kind of freaked out by guns how safe they can be and how they’re not really problematic unless put in the wrong hands.” Reed is the daughter of longtime armorer Thell Reed, who was Brad Pitt’s shooting coach on the 2007 film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. However, the 24-year-old had only worked on one movie before landing the role of head armorer on Baldwin's western. The Hollywood rookie noted she had “figured” out most of the job's requirements on “my own” and said that “loading blanks” is the “scariest thing to me.” Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock
The Armorer Says She ‘Has No Idea’ Why Live Rounds Were in the Gun
Gutierrez Reed's lawyers, Jason Bowles and Robert Gorence, released a statement to Us on October 29. "First Hannah would like to extend her deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Halyna," the statement read, referring to Hutchins as "an inspirational woman in film who Hannah looked up to." The statement went on to allege that she had been "slandered" in the aftermath of the shooting. "Safety is Hannah’s number one priority on set. Ultimately this set would never have been compromised if live ammo were not introduced," the lawyers claimed on her behalf. "Hannah has no idea where the live rounds came from. Hannah and the prop master gained control over the guns and she never witnessed anyone shoot live rounds with these guns and nor would she permit that. They were locked up every night and at lunch and there’s no way a single one of them was unaccounted for or being shot by crew members. Hannah still, to this day, has never had an accidental discharge." Though there have been reports that there were two accidental discharges in other situations on set, Gutierrez Reed's lawyers allege that others were at fault. "The first one on this set was the prop master and the second was a stunt man after Hannah informed him his gun was hot with blanks," they alleged. Myung J Chun/Los Angeles Times/Shutterstock
The Armorer Wanted More Time to Prepare
Gutierrez Reed's lawyers suggested that the blame for the fatal accident lay with other filmmakers. "Hannah was hired on two positions on this film, which made it extremely difficult to focus on her job as an armorer," they said in the October 29 statement. "She fought for training, days to maintain weapons, and proper time to prepare for gunfire but ultimately was overruled by production and her department. The whole production set became unsafe due to various factors, including lack of safety meetings. This was not the fault of Hannah." Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Baldwin Says Hutchins Was a Friend
While in Vermont on October 30, Baldwin told news outlets that he couldn't say much about the incident, but he is cooperating with authorities and mourning the death of Hutchins. "I’ve been ordered by the sheriff’s department in Santa Fe, I can’t answer any questions about the investigation," Baldwin said. "I can’t — it’s an active investigation in terms of a woman died. She was my friend.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Baldwin Is Talking to Hutchins’ Family
The actor, who also produced the film, explained that he met with Hutchins' husband as well as her son to offer support. "The guy is overwhelmed with grief," Baldwin said on October 30. "There are incidental accidents on film sets from time to time but nothing like this. This is a one in a trillion event, and so he is in shock [and] has a 9-year-old son. We are in constant contact with him. We’re very worried about his family and his kid, and we’re eagerly awaiting for the sheriff’s department telling us what their investigation has yielded.” Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Assistant Director Breaks His Silence
Dave Halls, the assistant director on Rust, released a statement in which he praised his “friend” Hutchins. “I’m shocked and saddened by her death,” he said. “It’s my hope that this tragedy prompts the industry to reevaluate its values and practices to ensure no one is harmed through the creative process again.” He continued, “My thoughts are with all who knew and loved Halyna.” Halls did not address the details of the incident or the reports that he was the one who handed Baldwin the gun involved in the shooting. Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock
Correcting the Narrative?
Baldwin reposted a thread from Terese Magpale Davis, who worked on Rust as a costume designer, outlining what they allege really happened on set. Davis’ post, which the actor shared via his Instagram account on November 2, claimed “the story being spun of us being overworked and surrounded by unsafe, chaotic conditions is bulls—t.” Davis stated that she “never worked more than a 12.5-hour shoot day,” saying that only happened once and “most days” were under the 12-hour mark. She recalled the day that Hutchins died, saying, “We had come off a 12-hour turnaround after an 11-hour shoot day,” noting they had a “56-hour weekend right before” the prolonged day. “No one was too tired to do their jobs,” she said. She refuted claims that the producers on the film didn’t care about their crew, writing, “They were some of the most approachable and warm producers I’ve ever worked with.” Davis explained that “concerns were heard and addressed” by the producers. According to her, the crew had a union rep who told production “not to give in to the camera crew” demands because they were asking for things that “the union does not require.” Davis alleged that she has spoken with the producers on the project since the accident, and they told her they have chosen not to defend themselves against the “blatantly false accusations” because they want the “focus to be on Halyna” and they want to “grieve and recover.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Legal Representation
Matthew Hutchins, the husband of the late cinematographer, has retained California-based law firm Panish Shea Boyle Ravipudi, according to Deadline. The firm specializes in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Police Protection?
“Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police officer on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety,” Baldwin tweeted on November 8. The actor, who has now made his Twitter profile private, also shared a screenshot of the tweet via his Instagram page. Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock

They see dead people, too! Many celebrities have shared some spooky supernatural stories based on their encounters with the paranormal.

Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt revealed that they had very strange experiences while living in the Playboy mansion with Hugh Hefner.

"The mansion is a home that's very intriguing for so many reasons," Madison, who lived there from 2001 to 2008, detailed to Nylon in August 2021. "People talk about it being haunted. There's all these weird urban legends like trafficking tunnels. It takes on a life of its own."

Marquardt, who lived in the mansion from 2002 to 2009, agreed that she could definitely feel “the nostalgia and the old energy” while living there.

"I had little things happen," Marquardt said about her experience seeing a woman standing in the doorway of her closet. "She had long, black stringy hair, very pale, very thin. She was wearing a white T-shirt that was too big on her and black acid wash-y jeans. She was more modern-day and I feel like I recognized who she was."

The Holly’s World alum added that she tried to “rationalize” the various encounters for a while until she finally accepted that these things would keep happening.

"For me, it took a bunch of different experiences before I thought 'OK, there's something weird going on here.' I said I wish I had more proof it was real, and right away when I said that, her TV turned on by itself and the volume went all the way up," she detailed.

Looking back on it afterward, Madison considered it a sign that something would occur when she was looking to be alone in the mansion.

"I would go hide in that bathroom. It was the one place in the house where nobody would go, and sometimes the toilet would flush by itself, and I always thought that was kind of weird. It always came during these weird, introspective moments at the time," she added. "I don't know what they were trying to tell me."

Lily Collins also reflected on how she found herself being “woken up by flashes of images,” while preparing for her role as Ted Bundy’s ex-girlfriend in the 2019 film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.

“I didn’t feel scared — I felt supported,” Collins told The Guardian in May 2019. “I felt like people were saying. ‘We’re here listening. We’re here to support. Thank you for telling the story.'”

One holiday season, Rowley escaped a fire in the home. The local fire chief later told her that the woman who once owned the mansion was the Diamond Match heiress "who was badly burned" in a blaze. "When I first moved in there, I had a tent and I put it up on the floor of the upstairs bedroom with my sleeping bag and my dog," he recalled to TeenHollywood.com in 2003. That night, he heard some strange noises including "a sound like a dime dropping from 10 feet off the ground onto a glass table." The actor ran "buck naked" but couldn't find the culprit. Alyson Hannigan
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum told the San Francisco Gate in 2003: "I have a ghost in my house… I don't think he died there because there's a law in L.A. that when you buy a house, if somebody's died there, they have to disclose that." Still, reasoned the actress, "He's very friendly. My friend saw him first one night. She said, 'I don't mean to alarm you but I just saw a man follow us out of the house.' Not long after the twosome welcomed their first child together, they sparked speculation that they were married at Dunst's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony after they were referred to as "husband" and wife."

"Aside from the brilliant actor you are, I have also had the even greater pleasure of getting to know you as a person outside of work — KiKi or Keeks," Plemons gushed in his speech at the August 2019 ceremony. "Seeing the kind of mother and wife, daughter, sister, friend and cohort you are is why I and all of your friends and everyone else are here today and why we all love you."

Dunst later clarified that the pair weren't hitched yet.

Paris Hilton Kicks Off Her Wedding Week at the L.A. Rams Football Game

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 11:18 AM PST

Here comes the bride! Paris Hilton is set to marry Carter Reum, and she has teased an extravagant ceremony that only the Cooking With Paris star can pull off.

Reum, a businessman, started dating Hilton in November 2019. “I'm so happy. This is the best time of my life right now," the Simple Life alum told Us Weekly in February 2020.

One year later, Reum popped the question. “When you find your soulmate, you don't just know it. You feel it," the bride-to-be shared alongside photos of the oceanside proposal via Instagram at the time. "My love and I have been together since our first date and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. I said yes, yes to forever. There's no one I'd rather spend forever with."

It wasn’t long before the planning and lavish celebrations began. After shooting down pregnancy rumors in July, Hilton was spotted having an intimate party with family and friends in New York City in September followed by more extravagant festivities in Las Vegas and Los Angeles in October.

Expect the wedding itself to be an affair to remember — and fans of the fragrance mogul will be able to see it all unfold on her new series, Paris in Love.

The 13-part docuseries will debut on Peacock, NBC Universal’s streaming service, on November 11, 2021, and it will follow Paris as she finds her dress, struggles to book a venue in the post-lockdown wedding rush and deals with overbearing family members.

“As you can imagine, marrying Paris Hilton is quite different than I expected,” Reum tells the cameras in the teaser for the show.

While the groom-to-be seems to find it endearing that his fiancée doesn’t know what sperm whales are and needs to know about the toy before she orders a happy meal, her mom, Kathy Hilton, doesn’t seem quite so thrilled by her daughter’s quirks.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tells Paris that her save the date card “looks like a dog’s birthday party” and says the happy couple will need to invite about 75 of her friends. “This is, like, my wedding too,” Kathy says in the Paris in Love trailer. “He just needs to stay in his lane.”

While an exact wedding date is unannounced, she is expected to walk down the aisle around the time her show premieres in November. However, it might be a multi-day celebration. Finding The Perfect Dress
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed in November 2021 that her daughter was deeply involved with wedding planning — and finding the perfect gown. “She was fiddling around with all the flowers, she went to the tasting,” Kathy told Extra at the time. “I thought she would just be interested in the pretty dresses. She just flew back from New York on the red-eye. … She flew to New York for 10 hours, tried on her dress — I can’t say who — and was crying tears of joy, so happy with it.” Sara Jaye Weiss/Shutterstock

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick Have ‘Date Night’ at Brandi Carlile Concert

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 11:17 AM PST

Defying Hollywood's odds! Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick have been married for more than 30 years — and appear to be more in love than ever.

The twosome first crossed paths when Bacon, who is seven years older than Sedgwick, was doing a play in the '70s.

“A little girl was in there who had just seen the matinee, and her brother said, ‘You liked that actor, go tell him you liked him,’ and it was Kyra," he recalled on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in 2014. "She was a little girl, yeah, she was 12 years old."

A decade later, the pair worked together in 1987 on the PBS film Lemon Sky.

“He definitely wasn’t my type," Sedgwick told Redbook 2008. "In fact, I vividly remember looking at his butt when he walked away after we first met and thinking, 'Well, I guess some girls like that.'"

The Closer actress clearly had a change of heart, marrying the Footloose star on September 4, 1988.

"When we first got together, she was more the messy one. But when I left home, I was an absolute slob. I lived in a pigsty. My first apartment was a roach-filled disaster," Bacon told Glamour in 2019. "Through the years I’ve tried to get the chaos out of [my home] because my work life is chaotic. She's moved in that direction too. I still don't really like to make the bed, because we're going to get in it in another 12 hours, but she really, really likes a made bed. I'll do it, but she does a little bit more of that, and I do a little more fixing stuff."

The duo welcomed son Travis in 1989 and daughter Sosie in 1992.

"She's made a lot more sacrifices than I've made. Kyra felt really strongly that, when she started to have children, she needed to be there for them," the actor told the magazine. "In many cases, because of the kids, she would make decisions careerwise that weren't the best for her career. We kept staying in New York because we wanted to raise them in New York, but there was more work in Los Angeles. Then when The Closer came along [in 2005] — I don't even look at this as a sacrifice — but the kids were still in high school or junior high and she had this opportunity to go out to California and to be a lead in a TV show. I said, 'Listen, I'll stay with the kids.'"

During the same interview, Sedgwick gushed about Bacon, noting that he was the one who encouraged her to start directing.

"It really is amazing that he saw in me something that I just didn't have the confidence to wrap my arms around," she explained. "It really wouldn't have happened unless he kept pounding the table. So when the opportunity to direct Story of a Girl came up, I raised my hand. It's been really a life-changer for me. I love it. I feel like it's something I've always been meant to do, and he saw that before I did. I think that's amazing."

“We've been married for so long and there are no secrets. But I never in a million years thought there would be sides to Kevin that I'm still learning,” Sedgwick told Redbook in 2008. “[Our relationship] is like a treasure; there are layers and layers of it. I'm constantly amazed that we are still surprised and interested in each other. When I look back at our first four years ... by that time we'd had our second kid, and I look back at those pictures and I think, ‘Gosh, I didn't know him at all!’ I loved him, but I didn't know him, and he probably didn't know me. But you grow together and learn more about each other. I think the trust gets deeper and the dependency gets deeper, which is scary. I think, because my father and mother split up when I was very young, there was a part of me at the beginning of our marriage that thought, ‘I’m cool alone. I love him, but I'm strong enough to handle life without him.’ But now he is the person I count on to live and walk through life with. It's a dependency that is there and large and real and profound.”   Alex Berliner/BEI/Shutterstock
2011
“I found her very beautiful and sexy and aloof and I was just immediately in love with her and she was immediately put off by me,” Bacon said on CNN in 2011, confirming he knew she was The One right away.   When the network played the clip for Sedgwick in 2012, the actress got emotional.   Dave Allocca/Starpix/Shutterstock
2017
Sedgwick directed Bacon in the 2017 movie Story of a Girl.   “For years I encouraged Kyra to direct, because I really thought she’d be great at it and would enjoy it,” he told Glamour. “But directing is a big step to take because you go, ‘Oh, can I really stand there and tell all these people what to do?’ So I just kept saying to her, ‘I know you can do this.’ I knew she could do it because when she would visit my sets, she'd always be so close to blurting out some kind of direction or suggestion. Also, in the way that she would analyze the films and television shows she would watch. She’s incredibly opinionated about the way things are shot, the music, the casting, all of that. So when this book that she’d been developing [for film], Story of a Girl, came along, she was in this meeting and said, ‘’ll direct it.’ From the first time, she made that commitment, and they said, ‘OK, sure.’ I’ve never seen her in work situations to be as happy as she is when she's directing. She just absolutely loves it, and she's great at it.”   Lifetime/Kobal/Shutterstock

“I’m incredibly lucky,” the Closer actress told Access Hollywood about her marriage. “There’s no secrets to this. I just got lucky really young at a time when I probably wasn’t that smart. March 2021
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Bacon revealed that he gave his wife an at-home bikini wax — to disastrous results. “I’m one of those people that is cocky enough to think that I can probably do anything. You know what I mean?” the Footloose star explained in March 2021. “I thought, ‘How hard could this be? I can put stuff together from IKEA. This is not going to be that hard.’” Bacon admitted that he learned very quickly that it should only be done by "trained professionals." "It can get really, really, frighteningly dangerous," he added. "She was a little bit mad at me, but you know what, it was OK. I gave it the old college try.” Two months prior, Sedgwick also spoke to Jimmy Kimmel about the the “agonizing” experience. “There were moments where I was like, ‘I thought you knew how to do this!’ And he was like, ‘I didn’t say I knew how to do this. You said I knew how to do this!' And I was like, ‘But you’re good at everything!’ And he was like, ‘Well, I’m not good at this,’” she recalled at the time. Jimmy Kimmel Live/YouTube

Fangirling! Cardi B ‘Felt Like a Teen’ After Meeting Robert Pattinson

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 11:15 AM PST

Hollywood heartthrobs! Celebrities are just like Us — they get crushes on famous folks and can become starstruck when they see certain stars.

Amy Adams admitted in November 2020 that after watching old movies starring Robert De Niro, including The Godfather and The Deer Hunter, she got a "retroactive crush" on the actor.

"Meaning, like, I have a crush on him in the ’70s,” the American Hustle actress told Jimmy Kimmel at the time. “I mean, not that I wouldn’t have a crush on him now, but you know, I’m married.”

Before finding love with Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner revealed she tried to pick up Friends alum Matthew Perry. The Game of Thrones alum opened up about the experience in June 2019, saying that after she spotted Perry rehearsing for a play next to her house in 2016, she began frequenting the local grocery store nearby to get a glimpse of him and make her move.

"I would walk around the corner every day and I would see Matthew Perry smoking a cigarette," she recalled during a "#BehindTheTweets" interview with Twitter. "And I bought a lighter from Budgens [store] so that I could walk up to him and offer to light his cigarette. [Unfortunately] it was already lit, so, that was just embarrassing."

Olympian Simone Biles, on the other hand, fell hard for Zac Efron well before she won a gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Biles gushed to Us Weekly in August of that year about her crush on the High School Musical star before meeting him in Rio weeks later while doing an interview on the Today show.

"On cloud 9 @zacefron," the athlete captioned a GIF of herself kissing the actor on the cheek after their surprise meeting. Biles then tweeted a series of photos with the Baywatch star, writing, "He kissed me on the cheek just letting y'all know."

Crushes are not limited to loving someone from afar. Emma Watson, who played Hermione in the Harry Potter franchise, revealed that she was smitten with her costar Tom Felton (who played Draco Malfoy) early on in their friendship.

"For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush," the Beauty and the Beast star told Seventeen in June 2011. "He totally knows. We talked about it — we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool."

Scroll down to revisit the wildest and the most understandable celebrity crushes of all time.

Selena Gomez and Chris Evans
The Rare Beauty founder shared her crush on the Captain America: The Winter Soldier star during a 2015 interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn't he cute? He's very cute," Gomez noted during the late-night appearance when she was asked about her love life. After Cohen noted that Evans' brother bartended on WWHL one week earlier, she excitedly added, “Really? Last week? Maybe it’s meant to be.” The Disney Channel alum and the MCU star later sparked romance speculation in October 2021 after social media fans noticed the pair were spotted at the same Los Angeles locations around the same time. Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon
The “Jolene” singer told W Magazine in October 2021 that she’s “always had good luck with late-night guys,” which might explain her crush on the host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.  "Well, I have a crush on Jimmy Fallon, but I'm big now, I can't excuse myself on that!" the 9 to 5 actress joked, adding, "I think he is precious. He's so funny. We get along so good." That closeness she shares with the Saturday Night Live alum might have something to do with the hours he keeps. "I guess there's something about those late-night people that kinda hits my fancy and I hit theirs somehow,” the country music icon explained. “I guess it's 'cause you feel like you can be more free late at night. You don't have to worry about what you say." Gregory Pace/Shutterstock; Photo Image Press/Shutterstock
Elizabeth Olsen and Frank Sinatra
The Wandavision star told W magazine in August 2021 about her childhood crush on the famed musician. “I loved classic musicals, and I was in love with Frank Sinatra,” Olsen told the outlet. “I would do scenes with him in my bathroom, which then turned into scenes with George Clooney as I got older and I realized Frank Sinatra was an old man. I was like, ‘Well, maybe if I get older, I can at least work with George Clooney, as his daughter’s friend or something, and then we have a thing.’” Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock; Snap/Shutterstock
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly
In a July 2021 GQ profile, Machine Gun Kelly (real name Colson Baker) dished about all of his dreams coming true — and not just because of the musical accolades he's earned, but because of the lucky lady on his arm during all the red carpets.  The GQ writer, Wesley Lowery, attended high school with the “Bloody Valentine” rapper and reminisced that his old friend long admired the New Girl alum, explaining that Baker was “the teenager who got the Decepticons logo from Transformers tattooed on his arm and hung a poster of Megan Fox in his bedroom.” Baker confirmed that the aforementioned poster was from a GQ shoot that Fox had done at the time, calling this interview “some full-circle s--t.” ABC/Shutterstock; Broadimage/Shutterstock
Emma Stone and Leonardo DiCaprio
Stone's favorite memory of winning best actress at the 2017 Academy Awards was receiving the trophy from her childhood crush. "That was what was going through my mind ‘cause it was him. ... I'd seen Titanic seven and a half times in theaters. He was the love of my life," she said during an interview on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show in May 2021. "I had a picture of him in my bedroom that was signed, that I had gotten for my birthday when I was like 12 years old. I was walking to Leo and I was like, 'This is officially the most surreal moment of my life.' I could not believe it." She added: "I think he probably thinks I'm like a little weird, ‘cause whenever I see him, I'm kind of like, 'Hey, how's it going?' You know, just in little moments, either at the same event or something. He's very sweet though. But that was truly — that was what was the craziest experience was the fact that it was him." Amy Adams and Robert De Niro
The Sharp Objects alum revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in November 2020 that she got a “retroactive crush” on De Niro after watching his older films for the first time, including The Godfather and The Godfather Part II. “I have a crush on him in the '70s," she said. "I mean, not that I wouldn't have a crush on him now, but you know, I'm married." After Kimmel joked that having a crush on the actor “in the ‘70s” and not on him “in his 70s,” Adams noted that she hasn’t ruled De Niro out based on age just yet. "I mean, I'm open to having a crush on him in his 70s. I think that could happen,” she added. Shutterstock (2)
Chelsea Handler and Andrew Cuomo
The comedian joked that she wanted the New York governor to "govern" her in a June 2020 Instagram comment. Four months later, she called him a "big, Italian hunk" on The View and revealed that she had asked him on a date. "He did say yes. And then I never heard from him," she claimed. Sam Smith and Shia LeBeouf
The “Dancing With a Stranger” singer has their eyes set on the Transformers star! But I’ll be happy to be his first.” Shutterstock (2)
Noah Schnapp and Zendaya
Stranger things have happened! The Netflix star has taken a shining to Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Zendaya. In July 2019, he bluntly told Wired magazine, “I like Zendaya.” This wasn’t his first public admission either. He shouted her out from the podium during his acceptance speech at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards when he won for Most Frightened Performance. “Hi, Zendaya!” he beamed in June 2018. The actor finally met Zendaya for the first time at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards in October 2019. "I just … I remember seeing her in the corner of my eye and walking up to her," he recalled on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March 2020. "And I was really, really nervous and I was like, ‘Oh, my God. It's actually her. This is the first time I'm meeting her.' And she smelled great. And she was so … she was so cute and she was, like, towered over me and she, like, bent down and she was like, ‘Hi, Noah,' with her little squeaky voice. Yeah, I remember everything." achel Murray/Getty Images for Netflix; Kristy Sparow/Getty Images for Lancome
Sophie Turner and Matthew Perry
Turner revealed in a Twitter Movie in June 2019 that she once tried to pick up the Friends alum by offering him a light while he was rehearsing a play near her home. "Every day... I would see Matthew Perry smoking a cigarette. And I bought a lighter from Budgens so that I could walk up to him and offer to light his cigarette. And it was already lit, so, that was just embarrassing,” she confessed in the clip. The Dark Phoenix star said she later tweeted about her run-in with the actor, but to little avail. “I thought he might see this tweet and then, I don’t know, reach out to me, and ask me on a date or something, but he didn’t," she said. The Hunger Games star, 27 at the time, made her love for the then 22-year-old actor — who she called “so, so talented and hot” — known in February 2018. “Timothée, I’m waiting for him to get a little bit older, you know?” she admitted to Entertainment Tonight. “[I’m] buttering him up like a pig for slaughter, and then I’m going to swing right in there as soon as he’s, like, 30. He’s old enough to say that, right? He’s over 18? What if I was like, ‘He’s hot!’ and he’s 15?” aylor Hill/FilmMagic;Kevin Mazur/Wireimage
Meryl Streep and Will Ferrell
Forget Ryan Gosling! The three-time Oscar winner revealed that she prefers Will Ferrell. “The movie that makes me cry is Anchorman,” Streep told W in January 2015. “I have the biggest crush on Will Ferrell. Matthew McConaughey and Susan Sarandon
Step aside, men! McConaughey had his eyes on Sarandon in June 2013. “Susan Sarandon is still to this day one of the sexiest women,” he told W at the time. “You know what it is? Susan’s got those pores. [They] are large. Like, woman comes out of her and honesty comes out of her. I just find her sort of very crushable.” Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images; Chance Yeh/Getty Images
Emma Watson and Tom Felton
Hermione and … Draco?! Turns out, Watson was smitten with Felton early in filming for the Harry Potter franchise. “For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush,” the actress admitted to Seventeen in June 2011. “He totally knows. We talked about it — we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.” Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images; Frazer Harrison/Getty Images
Adam Rippon and Shawn Mendes
The Olympian shared his affection for the singer during a March 2018 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I used to have a really big crush on Harry Styles, but here’s the thing: I was sleeping on Shawn Mendes,” the figure skater said. “Not literally, but I didn’t realize how cute he was … I know Harry will be upset, but … love is a funny thing.” The athlete met Mendes days later at an Oscars afterparty. Helen Mirren and Vin Diesel
Mirren publicly declared her love for Diesel long before the two costarred in 2017’s The Fate of the Furious. “I’m a huge fan of Vin Diesel,” the Oscar winner admitted during an April 2015 appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. “It came from me watching him make a speech once at some ceremony. He was just so smart and so funny and so cool, and I just sort of fell a little bit in love with him right there and then. Vin, I love you. I love you, Vin. You don’t know who I am, but I still love you.” John Shearer/Getty Images; Kevin Mazur/Getty Images
Nicole Kidman and Jimmy Fallon
The comedian didn’t know about Kidman’s crush on him until years later when she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the first time. “I just remember I liked you. … And you didn’t talk at all,” the Oscar winner said in January 2015 of their set-up. “So after about an hour and a half, I thought, ‘He has no interest. This is so embarrassing.’ So I left and went, ‘OK, no chemistry. Maybe he’s gay!’” Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images; Gerardo Mora/FilmMagic
Cole Sprouse and Jennifer Aniston
The Riverdale actor has spoken frequently about his childhood crush on his Friends costar. “I had a really, really hard time working with Aniston because I was so in love with her,” Sprouse told the New York Post in an interview published in March 2017. “I was infatuated. I was speechless — I’d get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank. It was so difficult.” Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic; razer Harrison/Getty Images
Simone Biles and Zac Efron
Efron is a popular celebrity crush. In fact, Biles told Us Weekly in August 2016, “I have such a crush on Zac Efron.” Weeks later, a dream came true when the High School Musical star traveled to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to surprise the athlete. Dylan O'Brien and Chloë Grace Moretz
The Maze Runner star first gushed over Moretz in June 2011. “I wanna give a special shout-out to Chloë Moretz because she is the most badass little chick that I’ve ever seen,” he told Hollywire. “What she did in Kick-Ass was amazing, and I have a crush on her.” O’Brien took his statements back when he realized she was 14 and he was 19 at the time. LOL! Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds’ Best Trolling Moments

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 11:05 AM PST

All's fair in love and trolling wars — just ask Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

The couple, who got married in 2012, are known for their spot-on social media snark, which is more often than not aimed at their famous significant other.

For much of the duo's relationship, the two have been savagely one-upping each other.

Reynolds has poked fun at his wife for closing her eyes in photos, committing supernatural infidelity and unfollowing him on Instagram. The Shallows star, for her part, has thrown her husband under the bus for his less than stellar motorcycle skills, flexing his muscles while saving a turtle and wanting pie instead of cake on his birthday.

When Lively and the Deadpool star's trolling quickly escalated to include jokes about them splitting up or cheating on each other with Anna Kendrick or Gigi Hadid, fans were nervous, but they realized it was just par for the course.

The parents of daughters James, Inez and Betty are "two extremely proud and private people and keeping their relationship low-key and off radar is what's worked so well for them over the years," a source exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2020. "Away from the cameras, people may find it surprising to hear they're just a regular couple who love to hang out and do the normal things together without making a song and dance about it all."

However, playful ribbing on Instagram and Twitter is fair game for this internet savvy pair, which is why no one is all that surprised if the Free Guy star posts a happy birthday message to his wife featuring a video of Mariah Carey. It's also totally normal for the Gossip Girl alum to mock Reynolds’ performance in Detective Pikachu.

"I mean, he didn't even change his voice,” she joked on Twitter in 2019. “It just sounds like him.”

The loving wisecracks might be standard practice for these two, but that doesn't mean it isn't hilariously funny for the A Simple Favor actress to make fun of her husband's celebrity alcohol brand, Aviation Gin, only to have him throw shade her way when she launched her own line of non-alcoholic mixers in September 2021.

Occasionally, the couple even team up to troll for a good cause.

After Gerard Butler admitted he didn't know what Free Guy was because he doesn't watch Reynolds' movies in a September 2021 interview, the Definitely, Maybe actor and Lively used the headline-making fake feud to raise money for the American Civil Liberties Union and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

Keep scrolling to relive Lively and Reynolds' most savage trolling moments.

When Ryan Said He Would Use Blake as a ‘Human Shield’
Ah, the early days of the Reynolds’ savagery. The Deadpool actor told David Letterman shortly after the couple’s first daughter, James, was born that his priorities had shifted. “I used to say to [Blake], 'I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you.' I would say that to my wife," he said during a February 2015 appearance on The Late Show. "And the second I looked in that baby's eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby.” Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
When Blake Made Fun of Ryan's Lack of Motorcycle Skills
Reynolds shared an Instagram photo of a man riding a motorcycle without holding on with the caption, “Don’t try this at home,” in May 2015. His wife quickly took him down a peg with her reply: “…Because he already tried!! @vancityreynolds just posted some great advice, but he forgot to mention one small detail. #Hypocrite#I'dGive70dollarsColdHardCashToWhoeverCouldResistHim #TooInLike.” Kevin Mazur/WireImage
When Ryan Wished Billy Ray Cyrus, Not Blake, a Happy Birthday
Lively shares a birthday with the country singer, a fact that Reynolds had fun with in August 2016. “Just want to wish Billy Ray Cyrus the most special, magical birthday ever. I love you with all my heart,” he tweeted. “Also, Happy Birthday to my wife.” Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images
When Ryan Claimed Jake Gyllenhaal Was a Better Cook Than Blake
“My wife is very good at cooking, and Jake might just be a little bit better,” Reynolds said of his Life costar during a March 2017 Good Morning America appearance. When host Michael Strahan suggested the Gossip Girl alum might not be happy about his assessment, the Definitely, Maybe actor quipped: “I’m moving out at the end of the month. I’m actually moving out right now, under this desk. I’m already making plans.” Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images
When Blake Called John Legend the 'Best Man I Know'
Being recognized as one of Time’s 100 most influential people should be an honor, but Legend totally stole Reynolds’ thunder in April 2017. “Congratulations to the most influential person in my life,” Lively teased on Instagram. “The best man I know… you deserve this @time 100 honor … If only my husband wasn’t blocking you in this shot. I’m so sorry @johnlegend.” Patrick McMullan/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images
When Blake Mistook Ryan Gosling for Her Hubby
The Proposal star shaded his wife when he cropped her out of an Instagram photo on her birthday, but the Age of Adeline actress got her revenge once her husband’s b-day rolled around in October 2017. “Happy birthday, baby,” Lively captioned a pic of Reynolds and Gosling, with the former cropped out of the shot. Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic
When They Traded Barbs About Affairs on Valentine's Day
Lively poked fun at Reynolds over not knowing how to use a cellphone in February 2018. “Why won’t this damn app swipe right?!?!!” she wrote in his Instagram comments, to which he wittily replied: “Because it’s the E-Harmony app.” The Shallows star played along. “Can you show me how to download that? Ever since Ashley Madison closed I’ve been so lonely,” she responded. The Just Friends actor cheekily retorted: “Awww. Happy Valentine’s Day.” Bennett Raglin/WireImage
When Ryan Responded to Split Rumors by Saying He Wanted More ‘Me Time’
When a news outlet reported in March 2018 that the couple were having trouble spending quality time together, Reynolds did not miss the chance to laugh about it. “I wish,” he replied on Twitter. “I could use a little ‘me time.’” VALERY HACHE/AFP/Getty Images
When They Reflected on the Good Times
Lively applauded an intricate braid she styled in an April 2018 Instagram post, completely overlooking Reynolds in the process. “If there’s one thing I’m infinitely proud of in this picture, it’s the incredible hair styling that I did on myself,” she wrote. He commented: “I was so happy back then.” Mike Coppola/Getty Images
When Blake Unfollowed Ryan
This was more than a trolling moment. It was a work obligation! Lively briefly unfollowed a number of accounts — including her husband’s — to promote her film A Simple Favor in May 2018. “Definitely stings. It’s a terrible way to find out that I’ve been kicked out of the house, to be honest,” the Green Lantern actor said when asked about the move. “Absolutely terrible. I don’t know where rage like that comes from.” Gilbert Carrasquillo/FilmMagic
When Blake Admitted She Keeps Secrets From Ryan
Reynolds jokingly prodded his wife to share the plot of A Simple Favor in May 2018, but the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star didn’t fall for his pleas. “Oh darling, of all the secrets I’m keeping from you, this should be the LEAST of your concerns,” she tweeted. “trust me.” Dia Dipasupil/WireImage
When Blake Wanted to Cheat on Ryan With Anna Kendrick
“@annakendrick47 is the hotter, female(r) version of my husband… so would it reaaaally count as cheating??” Lively asked her Instagram followers about her Simple Favor costar in June 2018. Reynolds took the blow in stride. “The most ambitious crossover event in history,” he replied. “I’ll miss you both. Tell my story.” Ethan Miller/Getty Images
When Ryan Complimented Blake's New Guy
Lively posted a promotional photo from her film A Simple Favor — an image of her character standing over a scantily clad man offering her a martini — to Instagram in September 2018. Reynolds commented on the pic, writing, “He seems nice.” Photo By Tim Palen
When Ryan Accused Blake of Supernatural Infidelity
In November 2018, after a news outlet tweeted a story about a woman who says she has had sex with 20 ghosts and now claims to be engaged to one, Reynolds replied, “THIS is how I find out?” INSTAR Images
When Blake Ripped Into Ryan's 'Detective Pikachu' Role
In a video Reynolds posted to Twitter in February 2019, Lively ragged on her husband’s job voicing the titular critter in the film Pokémon Detective Pikachu. “I mean, he didn’t even change his voice. It just sounds like him,” she said. And when Reynolds suggested that his daughters would respect his work in the movie, the actress laughed and said, “We’re not going.” Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

When Blake Mocked Ryan for Wanting Pie for His Birthday
Lively poked fun at her husband for his choice of birthday "cake" when he turned 44 in October 2020. "1) Who is the lost soul that selects birthday PIE," she captioned two Instagram photos showing Reynolds smiling as he was presented with a pie studded with candles. "2) What ANIMAL eats their cake (pie) without first blowing out the candles. @vancityreynolds that's who. Happy Birthday. I honestly can't believe we're still married."  Courtesy Blake Lively/Instagram
When Blake Revealed Her Favorite Canadian Things
The Los Angeles native shared in December 2020 that four of her “favorite things in the world” come from Vancouver, Canada, which is her husband’s hometown. The first three things were delicious desserts from the city, including ice cream, doughnuts and pie. “And the 4th of course is @askforluigi,” she wrote alongside the photo of cake, cookies and more from Ask for Luigi restaurant. “…Who did you think I was gonna say??” Lively teased her husband a little more by adding a Deadpool gif in the corner of the image. When Blake Implied She'd Rather Be a Couple With Gigi Hadid

When He Flexed His Muscles While Saving a Turtle
“Are we supposed to believe this isn’t a post about your fine ass arms?” Lively wrote in an Instagram direct message to her husband after he posted a photo of a turtle hiding under his car, which he later removed.  During the rescue mission, Reynolds’ arm muscles were on full display, which Lively pointed out via her Instagram Story in July 2021. “But wait, there’s more,” she captioned one of the zoomed-in snaps. “You’re welcome.” The California native added a whipped cream and cherry on top GIF alongside one muscle photo, while adding fireworks to another. When Ryan Praised Mariah Carey on Blake's Birthday
“My favorite thing that’s ever happened on August 25th,” Reynolds wrote via his Instagram Story in August 2021, alongside a TikTok video with Carey, not his wife, on her 34th birthday.  In the clip, Carey is singing “Fantasy” while Reynolds is “loading” his page. When the actor begins lip-syncing and making butterfly motions with his arms, the Grammy winner gives him a major look of disappointment, which he loves. “I’m still recovering from that side-eye,” he commented on Carey’s original post. When Blake Started Her Own Drink Brand
Lively referred to Reynolds’ Aviation Gin when she launched her Betty Buzz sparkling non-alcoholic mixers in September 2021. “Well, at least it’s not a celebrity alcohol? Meet @BettyBuzz mixers,” she tweeted, to which he replied, “Luckily they pair deliciously with @AviationGin. Coincidence? Conspiracy? Hard to say.” Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
When Blake Called Out Ryan For Taking an Acting 'Sabbatical'
After the Spirited actor announced via Instagram that he was taking a little break from acting to spend more time with his family, Blake took a playful jab at his big news in the comments. "Michael Caine did it first," she joked on October 17, making a reference to the British actor who alluded he may soon retire from acting in an interview from earlier that same month. When Ryan Went Hiking With Blake’s Earrings
In November 2021, the Red Notice star shared an Instagram Story of him taking a stroll with his wife. “I recommend a walk in the woods,” he wrote alongside a photo of him decked out in his hiking gear. Unfortunately, only half of Lively’s face was in the shot — though Reynolds joked that he did get her “earrings in frame.” The Betty Buzz founder clapped back by posting the same shot to her Instagram Story. “The best Guy,” she captioned the snap, adding a GIF of Princess Anna from Frozen looking very excited. Health Care Company Cuts Ties With Aaron Rodgers Amid Vaccine Controversy

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 11:04 AM PST

The fallout from allegations that Aaron Rodgers lied about his vaccination status continues. The Green Bay Packers quarterback came under fire in early November after he tested positive for COVID-19, months after telling reporters he was "immunized."

During an August press conference, Rodgers spoke about the National Football League's guidelines ahead of the 2021 season.

"You know, there's a lot of conversation around it, around the league, and a lot of guys who have made statements and not made statements, owners who have made statements," he said at the time. "There's guys on the team that haven't been vaccinated. I think it's a personal decision. I'm not going to judge those guys. There are guys that've been vaccinated that have contracted COVID. It's an interesting issue that I think we're going to see played out the entire season."

After news broke that Rodgers had contracted coronavirus in November, he claimed that he underwent his own protocol and treatments to "stimulate my immune system to create a defense against COVID" following his own "research" into the COVID-19 vaccine.

"I didn't lie in the initial press conference," the football player claimed on The Pat McAfee Show on November 5. "And at the time my plan was to say I've been immunized. It wasn't some sort of ruse or lie … I found an immunization protocol that could best protect me and my teammates. And it was a long-term protocol that involved multiple months."

Infectious disease epidemiologist Tara C. Smith subsequently told The Washington Post: "People like Rodgers and others who are publicly doubting vaccines take the opposite tack and just find research that already confirms their preexisting biases. And that's not how science works. … Sometimes treatments can reduce the severity of illness or reduce the length of time you are sick, but vaccination prevents you from becoming sick in the first place."

During his lengthy appearance on the SiriusXM show, Rodgers claimed that the NFL was aware of his vaccination status, and he was following the guidelines as an "unvaccinated person" despite attempting to appeal the league's ruling with "500 pages of research."

According to Rodgers, he was forced to wear a yellow wristband during practice and events with the team to identify his unvaccinated status, is not allowed to leave the hotel or eat with the team during road games, must work out on his own in the weight room and cannot use the sauna.

"Some of the rules are not based in science at all. They're based purely in trying to out and shame people," he argued. "Personal health decisions should be private. The shaming and the outing … Everyone has their own story. This shamming, cancel society, that is wrong."

In addition to missing at least one game of the season, Rodgers has faced backlash and lost a partnership with a health care company. Scroll through for a breakdown of the controversy:

Aaron's Alleged Allergies
Rodgers claimed that he is allergic to an ingredient in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and cited blood clot concerns for his reason for not getting the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. (The J&J shot was briefly pulled due to side effects in adult women younger than 50 years old before the CDC recommended resuming the administration of the shot.) Rodgers also cited fertility issues around vaccines as a concern. According to the CDC, “there is no evidence that COVID-19 vaccination causes a loss of fertility.”   Jed Jacobsohn/AP/Shutterstock
The COVID-19 Diagnosis Timeline
Ahead of week 9 in the NFL season, Rodgers was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list on November 3 after he tested positive for the coronavirus. He said on November 5 that he was feeling better after experiencing symptoms on November 2. AJ Mast/AP/Shutterstock
The Investigation
The NFL announced on November 3 that the league was “reviewing” possible breaches from Rodgers of COVID-19 protocol, including attending press conferences without a face mask and the alleged lack of face masks in facilities. The NFL is also looking into a Halloween party attended by several Packers players. The league also disputed Rodgers’ claims that an NFL doctor told him “it would be impossible for a vaccinated person to catch or spread COVID.” "No doctor from the league or the joint NFL-NFLPA infectious disease consultants communicated with the player,” the NFL said in a statement to Pro Football Talk. “If they had, they certainly would have never said anything like that." Stephen B Morton/AP/Shutterstock
Prevea Health Cuts Ties
After a nine-year partnership, the Wisconsin-based health care organization announced on November 6 that Rodgers is no longer working with the company. "Prevea Health remains deeply committed to protecting its patients, staff, providers and communities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic," Prevea's statement shared via Twitter read. "This includes encouraging and helping all eligible populations to become vaccinated against COVID-19 to prevent the virus from further significantly impacting lives and livelihoods."   Mike Roemer/AP/Shutterstock
The Missed Game
Rodgers was unable to play in the Packers’ November 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Backup quarterback Jordan Love stepped in and Green Bay lost 13-7. The earliest Rodgers can be cleared to return is November 13 after a 10-day quarantine. While that makes him eligible to take on the Seattle Seahawks on November 14, he wouldn’t be able to practice with the game at all before the week 10 matchup. The Packers have yet to name a QB for week 10. Ed Zurga/AP/Shutterstock

Travis Scott Will Cover All Funeral Costs for Astroworld Victims: Details

Posted: 08 Nov 2021 11:03 AM PST

During Travis Scott's 2021 Astroworld Festival, at least eight attendees were pronounced dead and more injured after a crowd rushed the stage.

While the 29-year-old "Sicko Mode" rapper performed in Houston, Texas, on Friday, November 5, the crowd surged forward and caused a mass accident.

"This is a tragic night," Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña said during a news conference early on Saturday, November 6. "We know that we had at least at least 8 confirmed fatalities tonight and we had scores of individuals that were injured here in this event."

Peña noted that nearly 50,000 individuals attended the music festival, explaining that around 9:00 p.m. the crowd had "began to compress toward the front of the stage," which caused panic and injuries.

"At the start of the mass casualty incident, when it was triggered … We transferred 17 patients to the hospital," Peña added at the time. "We won't know the cause of death of the eight that were confirmed until the medical examiner has completed his investigation, but we are in the process — Houston Police Department — is sending units to the hospitals to identify these patients."

The incident took place at the sold-out outdoor festival, which was held at NRG Park.

The crowd surge “was from panic because people were running for safety,” a source close to the investigation tells Us Weekly. “The quick response from Astroworld security and staff on site undoubtedly saved even more people from being hurt or worse."

During the show, Scott paused his performance "three times" to ask what had happened, according to one source.

"He asked for everybody in the area to go help them and bring them to the front," an insider told Us. "As soon as they were made aware of what was happening, they ended the performance in the interest of public safety.”

The event's official social media page shared a statement of support early on Saturday, writing, "Our hearts are with the Astroworld Festival family tonight — especially those we lost and their loved ones. We are focused on supporting local officials however we can."

In the statement, it was confirmed that the festival's Saturday lineup had been canceled.

"As authorities mentioned in their press conference earlier, they are looking into the series of cardiac arrests that took place," the social media statement read. "Thank you to our partners at the Houston Police Department, Fire Department and NRG Park for their response and support."

Scott's partner, Kylie Jenner, shared footage from the concert hours earlier via Instagram Story, having attended alongside sister Kendall Jenner. The 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder posted snaps of a trailer with 3-year-old daughter Stormi's name on it alongside concert videos during the rapper's set. In Jenner's Instagram videos, the packed crowd was seen jumping during her beau’s performance, which was complete with pyrotechnics on stage.

The musician's annual festival completed a week's worth of "Astroweek" programming, which he described via Instagram in October as "a wild week."

"But injecting the city with inspirational features and activities for charity is a must," Scott wrote at the time. "Join us thru out the week for a bunch of 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 reveals and product. Bringing the ones I build with to the city and I thank them for stepping into this vision and going hammmmmm."

Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life.” He continued in his post, “I am committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need. Thank you to Houston PD, Fire Department and NRG Park for their immediate response and support. Love You All.” Amy Harris/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
How Did Houston's Security Respond?
“We had more security over there than we had at the World Series games,” Houston mayor Sylvester Turner explained to The New York Times. “The Houston Police Department provided hundreds of officers, in addition to what I’m told were 240 or 250 non-police security that were there.” Amy Harris/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Why Did the Crowd Surge?
Several people were trampled, and investigators are still looking for answers regarding why the surge happened. “I’m sending investigators to the hospitals because we just don’t know,” Finner said, according to the New York Times. “We’re going to do an investigation and find out, because it’s not fair to producers, to anybody else involved, until we determine what happened, what caused the surge.” Amy Harris/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Were Drugs Involved?
Chief of Police Troy Finner addressed reports that people were being drugged without their consent at a press conference on Saturday. "One of the narratives was some individual was injecting other people with drugs. We do have a report of a security officer, according the medical staff that was out and treated him last night, that he was out and reaching over to restrain or grab a citizen, and he felt a prick in his neck," Finner said via CBS. "When he was examined, he went unconscious. They administered Narcan. He was revived, and the medical staff did notice a prick that was similar to a prick that you would get if someone was trying to inject you." He noted that other individuals were trampled and families were still being notified. Live Nation is cooperating and told authorities that they would give any video they had.
