Holding Hands! Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson Confirm Their Romance Posted: 18 Nov 2021 05:18 PM PST It’s official! Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are dating — and there are pictures to prove it. The 41-year-old reality star and the 28-year-old comedian were photographed holding hands in Palm Springs, California, on Thursday, November 18, cementing the pair’s status after weeks of dating speculation. In photos published by the Daily Mail, the pair dressed casually as they strolled through a parking lot, shortly after celebrating Davidson’s birthday together in matching plaid pajamas. Ahead of the PDA pics, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Kardashian “lights up” when she’s around her new flame, adding, “Their chemistry is off the charts and getting stronger each passing day.” The duo shared plenty of screen time during Kardashian’s hosting gig on Saturday Night Live in October. At the time, they kissed during an Aladdin-themed sketch and even appeared in a parody skit about Kourtney Kardashian‘s romance with her now-fiancé, Travis Barker. Kim and the Meet Cute actor continued to make headlines when they were photographed together on a roller-coaster ride at Knott's Scary Farm in California ahead of Halloween. They were joined by several friends, including Kourtney, 42, and Barker, 45. At the time, a source told Us that “things could turn romantic” between Kim and the New York City native as they continued to spend more time together. “Kim is single and having fun at the moment,” the insider noted in October. Less than one week later, the Skims founder flew out to New York to spend quality time together in Davidson’s native borough, Staten Island. Us confirmed that the pair enjoyed a private dinner at Campania’s before they met up again at Zero Bond in Manhattan. As rumors continued to swirl about the pair, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were just a few of the celebs who weighed in on the speculation. "Funny guys do a lot," Teigen, 35, told TMZ on November 3. "Look at John — he's hysterical." Legend, 42, for his part, said, “Who wouldn't want to be in love with a funny guy?" Soon after, Davidson’s ex-girlfriend Kate Beckinsale subtly showed him support. The model, 48, who briefly dated the Guy Code alum in early 2019, “liked” a post on social media that read, “I love how every time Pete Davidson starts dating another beautiful celebrity everyone’s like ‘wtf is happening how did he do this what is this mystery???'” Kim split from her husband of six years, Kanye West, in February. The estranged couple children share North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2. As the beauty mogul adjusted to the single life, another source revealed in June that she had concerns about dating again. “[Kim] worries that guys will not want to date her because of how public her relationship was with Kanye," the insider shared with Us at the time. "She also knows how hard it is to build trust with someone, so she thinks it's going to take time before letting someone into her private life. It was easy with Kanye because they were friends before so they had years' worth of trust." Davidson, for his part, most recently dated Phoebe Dynevor. Us broke the news in August that they had called it quits after less than six months. |
Kim Kardashian's Dating History Through the Years Posted: 18 Nov 2021 04:58 PM PST A star-studded love life. Kim Kardashian‘s personal life has been in the spotlight for decades, no matter who she’s dated or married. Since 2000, Kardashian has been married three times. At only 19, she married producer Damon Thomas, who was 10 years older than her. The marriage lasted three years until she called it quits in 2003. She also married NBA star Kris Humphries in 2011 after their romance and engagement was chronicled on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Unfortunately, only 72 days after the wedding, they split and she filed for divorce in October 2011. They officially split in April 2013 after a messy court battle. She later explained that she felt pressured to marry Humphries. “I just thought, 'Holy s―, I'm 30 years old, I better get this together. I better get married,'” the KKW Beauty founder revealed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in 2017. “I think a lot of girls do go through that where they freak out thinking they're getting old and have to figure it out, all their friends are having kids. It was more of that situation.” Kardashian added, “I knew on the honeymoon it wasn't going to work out.” In 2012, Kardashian began dating Kanye West — and fell for him very fast. “After my breakup I was feeling really low and down and he was like, ‘Just come to Paris and see my fashion show.’ He jokes that he put on this whole fashion show just to get a date with me,” she revealed during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians‘ 10th anniversary special in 2017. “I went and I stayed with him and that’s where we started dating. I swear from the moment I landed and was there, I fell madly in love with him and I thought, ‘Oh my god, why didn’t I do this sooner? This is like what real life is like and love and fun and real support. This is what it is.'” Kardashian married the rapper in a lavish Italy ceremony in 2014. The pair share four children, daughter North (born in 2013), son Saint (born in 2015), daughter Chicago (born in 2018) and son Psalm (born in 2019). Kim Kardashian 'Lights Up' Around 'Down to Earth' Pete Davidson Posted: 18 Nov 2021 03:57 PM PST ![]() Heating up! Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are still going strong — and they’re getting closer than ever. “Kim lights up when she's around Pete,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the Skims founder, 41, and the Saturday Night Live star, 28. “Their chemistry is off the charts and getting stronger each passing day.” Though fans were initially shocked by the pairing, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians is attracted to the same thing that so many of Davidson’s fans are: his comedic skills. “No one can remember seeing her smile and laugh so much around a guy,” the insider explains. “He just has this ability to hold Kim's total attention and have her in stitches with his hilariously dry sense of humor. He's so down to earth and humble, which she really digs.” After the reality star hosted SNL in early October, the duo were later spotted together on a group outing with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker at Knott’s Berry Farm in California. Shortly after that, Kim and the Guy Code alum had dinner together two nights in a row in New York City. “They have a unique chemistry that she hasn't had with anyone else,” a second source tells Us of the King of Staten Island star and the KKW Beauty mogul. “They have such a strong connection. She gets butterflies around him and he makes her laugh — and that's more than she can say for other guys.” Though the Selfish author is still working out the details of her divorce from Kanye West, which she filed in February, her friends “encouraged her to go for it with the comedian,” a source told Us earlier this month, adding, "It's been very obvious for a while now that she's been missing some fun and laughter in her life, and of course Pete offers that in abundance.” Earlier this week, the twosome celebrated Davidson’s 28th birthday with Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner, and Flavor Flav. “Celebrating my adopted son Pete Davidson's birthday wit the legendz @kimkardashian and @krisjenner," the rapper, 62, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, November 17, alongside a photo of himself with the trio. "Pete,,, I never took a clock off my neck to give to someone and you will be the last person I do this for,,, it lookz real good on you,,,, happy birthday.” Kim, Davidson, and the momager, 66, all donned matching looks for the occasion, with Jenner wearing a full set of plaid pajamas and the happy couple seemingly sharing one set. My Unorthodox Life's Batsheva Haart Confirms Ben Weinstein Split Posted: 18 Nov 2021 03:30 PM PST ![]() Speaking out. My Unorthodox Life's Batsheva Haart has opened up about her breakup from her husband of nine years, Ben Weinstein. "After time and consideration we have made the decision to separate," the Netflix personality, 28, shared via Instagram Story on Thursday, November 18. "We have so much love and respect for each other but have realized that it is time to take some space to ensure that each of us live the most joyous, fulfilling lives possible." She added in her statement, "There are no secrets nor salacious events to blame. We are just two best friends who met at a very young age and have grown over the past 9 years each in our own way. We so appreciate your continuous support as we embark upon this new chapter of our lives, separately." Haart then signed the statement from both the men's stylist, 28, and herself, alongside red heart emojis. Weinstein also shared the same message via his account. Us Weekly previously confirmed earlier on Thursday that the pair had gone their separate ways. "Batsheva and Ben are getting divorced," a source told Us, noting that the influencer has been "living" at her mom Julia Haart's house for "the last few weeks." "People change and shift, that's what happened here," the insider added. “They made a loving decision to separate." ![]() Aside from her growing success as a social media influencer, Batsheva was prominently featured on Netflix's My Unorthodox Life earlier this year, which was later renewed for a second season in September. The docuseries chronicled the daily life of the Elite World Group CEO, 50, and her family — kids Batsheva, Shlomo, 25, Miriam, 21, and Aron, 15, whom she shares with ex-husband Yosef Hendler. The fashion designer previously left an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community upon her divorce. Throughout the first season of the reality TV show, viewers saw Batsheva's relationship with Weinstein develop as they also left the suburb and its restrictive rules. The former couple — who wed in 2012 shortly after graduating from high school — often argued over Batsheva's outfits, which Weinstein wasn't quite on board with her desire to wear pants following his traditional upbringing. They also discussed when to start a family as Batsheva dragged her heels despite the real estate agent’s eagerness to become a father. "I think what made the show feel authentic was that we did things that were very true to us, like the conversation with Ben and I fighting about pants, that’s totally a conversation that we had like a million times before," Batsheva praised the show's authentic portrayal of her relationship during an interview with Nylon in August. "And at the point when we were filming that, I had just started wearing pants. It was a very personal experience that we’re sharing. When Ben and I are fighting about social media — these are all things that actually do happen. I think because they’re very authentic to our lives, they came off that way, and I think that’s what made the show have that feeling because we’re sharing things that we actually experience.” Before news of the pair's split made headlines, the pair fueled breakup speculation after sharing solo Instagram snaps to their respective pages. Weinstein, for his part, even captioned one post, "Officially not-famous," perhaps hinting at a reality TV exit. |
Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi: A Timeline of Their Relationship Posted: 18 Nov 2021 02:47 PM PST Young love! Jacob Elordi and Kaia Gerber kept their relationship relatively quiet after stepping out together in September 2020. The Kissing Booth actor and the model sparked relationship speculation in the fall of 2020 after being spotted in New York City together. "Kaia and Jacob are newly seeing each other," a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time, following two PDA-filled outings for the pair in the Big Apple. Their rumored romance came eight months after Gerber parted ways with Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson. The pair split in January 2020 after a whirlwind three-month relationship. Elordi, for his part, was previously linked to Euphoria costar Zendaya. Us confirmed in February 2020 that the two were dating after they sparked romance rumors in August 2019. They were last seen together in March 2020. In November 2020, Gerber and Elordi went public with their romance when they dressed up as Priscilla Presley and her late husband, Elvis Presley, for Halloween. "It's actually crazy how much they have in common," the insider told Us in April 2021. "It was like the universe brought them together! They're both models, modeled for Calvin Klein — very into fashion, of course. They love going shopping together and even working out together. They're truly some of the kindest people you will meet." While the duo bonded over their shared interests, a second source told Us that they weren't "rushing into anything serious like an engagement." The pair were "enjoying being a couple" and just wanted "to experience life together," the insider added. Gerber broke her silence about her and Elordi's dynamic during an interview with Vogue in May 2021, noting that they didn’t "want anything from each other." She explained that they were in a "safe, steady relationship," which led to her seeing the "possibilities of love." She added: "Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone." Us confirmed in November 2021 that the duo split after a year of dating. 'Damn!’ Kelley Flanagan Reacts to Peter Weber, Hannah Brown Hookup News Posted: 18 Nov 2021 02:28 PM PST Kelley Flanagan has entered the chat! The Bachelor alum is speaking her mind amid the drama surrounding her ex Peter Weber and Hannah Brown — and maybe even jotting a few things down. One day after Weber, 30, confirmed that he and Brown, 27, hooked up while his Bachelor season was airing in 2020 — Flanagan, who finished in fifth place during season 24, reacted to the shocking news. "Damn, looks like I needs to write a book," the 29-year-old lawyer wrote via her Instagram story on Thursday, November 18, alongside a selfie of her giving a peace sign. ![]() "Book coming 2022," she teased in the post, before noting in a smaller font right underneath her first message: "Maybe 2023." It's unclear at this time whether Flanagan is actually working on a tell-all. However, in Brown’s upcoming memoir, God Bless This Mess, out Monday, November 29, the Dancing With the Stars alum revealed that she slept with Weber, the third runner-up during her Bachelorette season, in February 2020. During Thursday’s episode of his "Bachelors in the City" podcast, Pilot Pete confirmed that the secret encounter took place at an engagement party for Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin. "We spent the night with each other, and that was it," he said on the pod. "That was the last time that I saw her physically." In her book, Brown writes that she still had feelings for her ex when they reconnected last winter, but the spark was gone. Weber agreed with her assessment, telling the "Bachelors in the City" listeners, "It wasn't the same as I think we had originally felt. But, nonetheless, it was great to talk and just have someone that kind of understood where I was coming from." Brown exclusively told Us ahead of her book's release that she wanted to include the story because it "gives an honest and vulnerable account" of where she was in her life at that time. "It's definitely a sign of making a poor decision when you're hurting," she said in November. "And I think a lot of girls can relate to that." Flanagan has also been open about her own experiences with Weber, who she dated for 10 months following his split from his season's winner and brief fiancée, Hannah Ann Sluss, and then runner-up Madi Prewett. After the reality TV stars called it quits in February, Flanagan admitted that things "ended really badly" between them. "If there is something that I saw as disrespectful in a relationship, I would speak on it and I was pretty vocal," she said on the "Off the Vine" podcast in March. "There wasn't something massive. … Within the relationship, it was fun. It was great, but there was a lot of little things." |
Prince Charles Carried an 'Enormous Burden' Amid Princess Diana's Death Posted: 18 Nov 2021 02:16 PM PST In the wake of Princess Diana's tragic death, her ex-husband, Prince Charles, had tough decisions to make as a royal amid his own grieving process. "I think by the end of Diana’s journey, I see [Charles] as grief-stricken," royal expert Matt Robins exclusively shared with Us Weekly while promoting CNN Original's Diana six-part documentary series. "I see him as somebody who carried an enormous burden through her death and her funeral, somebody [who] has to make impossible decisions." The film producer added, "You know, he has been criticized for the fact that [his sons Prince William and Prince Harry] walked alongside him [during the procession], but what do you do, and how many of us would make the perfect call every time, where the eyes of the world [were] upon us?" Robins further noted that, in making the CNN series, it's easy to empathize with his subjects, especially with the Prince of Wales, 73. "I think certainly in episode one, we’re going into quite a lot of detail actually about what it’s like to be Charles, you know, the pressure, the kind of weight on your shoulders of knowing that you will be king," he told Us about the filmmaking process. "So I think I have a lot of empathy for him, and I think that [the royals] don’t necessarily want to do the job. … I kind of feel, like, the pressure and the toll on their mental well-being is a factor that perhaps none of us really understood back then — as we saw them as people that were able to do whatever they wanted, they were privileged people. They lived in this, kind of, gilded cage." The Chameleon producer also explained how watching the royals grieve the death of the People's Princess helped to humanize their family. "I think [how they handled her death] does change everything," Robins said. "I think it has been talked about a lot, but I would say I’m more interested in the smaller ways that it changes the family: I don’t believe there’s some overnight transition where they hire the best PR firm in the world and change their methods of behavior. … I think they probably learned for the first time, just how emotionally connected people are to them. They feel that surge of emotion, you know, just the way I think in the final episode we talk about the wave of applause that comes through Westminster Abbey after the eulogy, that has a tidal wave of emotion. And it would be impossible not to be affected by that as a human being." ![]() He continued at the time, "I think the smaller details — I think that all of us really noticed in the wake of Diana’s death was this willingness to be slightly more emotional and language, slightly more personal in behavior, you know, that the idea that the Queen and the family would talk about themselves in a way that they hadn’t before would be relatable to you and me in ways that they hadn’t before." Years after her divorce from Charles, Diana died in a fatal car accident in Paris in August 1997. She was 36 and left behind then-teenaged sons William, now 39, and Harry, now 37. Since her death, the Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex have both been candid about remembering their mother and sharing how they coped with the loss. "When I was a young boy I lost my mum," the California resident wrote in an emotional forward for picture book Hospital by the Hill in March. "At the time I didn't want to believe it or accept it, and it left a huge hole inside of me. I know how you feel, and I want to assure you that over time that hole will be filled with so much love and support. … I will make a promise to you — you will feel better and stronger once you are ready to talk about how it makes you feel." Robins is an executive producer on the CNN series highlighting the "real woman behind the 'People's Princess,'" which premiered in September. "I think in Diana’s case, this project started as a fairly informal conversation at CNN about power and about the way we view power," he revealed to Us. "And I think traditionally we’ve always looked at power through a very male lens as a society. … So, for me, the interest in the docuseries was about understanding her power, her relevance and also understanding how, in many cases, unfairly she was treated at the time. You know, that as a woman who gained agency, had power [and] had a platform, so often she was crushed and ridiculed and mocked for the way that she chose to live her life, for the causes that she took up, for the people that she decided to champion who perhaps didn’t have a voice as loud as our own." Diana airs on CNN on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET and is available to stream in its entirety on CNN On Demand. With reporting by Christina Garibaldi |
It’s Over! Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi Split After 1 Year of Dating Posted: 18 Nov 2021 01:46 PM PST ![]() Breaking up is never easy. Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi have split after one year of dating, a source confirms to Us Weekly. In Touch reported on Thursday, November 18, that the former couple’s “schedules conflicted [and] they weren’t spending much time together,” adding that “there are no hard feelings” between the now-exes. Gerber, 20, and Elordi, 24, were first linked in September 2020 when they were spotted having dinner at Nobu in Malibu and holding hands in New York City. A source exclusively told Us at the time that the two were "newly seeing each other." They took things to the next level later that month by vacationing with her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. The Euphoria star and the model confirmed their relationship in October 2020 when they were seen kissing for the first time. "Kaia is having a lot of fun with Jacob," an insider told Us amid the PDA. "Her family thinks he is a stand-up guy and a breath of fresh air." The pair made their romance Instagram official in November 2020 when she shared a photo of their Halloween costumes, which paid tribute to Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. As Elordi and Kaia kept their relationship low-key, a source revealed that they were enjoying their status as boyfriend and girlfriend. "They're not rushing into anything serious like an engagement," the insider said in April. "They're young and want to experience life together. They're lovers and also best friends. They're always together when they don't have work commitments. … It's actually crazy how much they have in common — it was like the universe brought them together!" The California native's family approved of the Kissing Booth actor too. "Kaia's parents adore Jacob and think he's a great match for Kaia," the source told Us in April. "Her friends have also taken a liking to him and think he's such a heartthrob." Kaia made a rare comment about Elordi in her June/July 2021 Vogue cover story. "Being able to be with someone I trust, where we don't want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions," she gushed at the time. "Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone." More recently, the duo packed on the PDA at a Met Gala afterparty and her birthday celebration in September. After a year of dating, they made their red carpet debut at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala in L.A. later that month. Kaia previously dated Pete Davidson from October 2019 to January 2020 and was linked to Cole Sprouse in April 2020. Elordi, for his part, dated Joey King from 2017 to 2018 and Zendaya in 2020. |
Former NFL Player Zac Stacy Accused of Domestic Violence in Shocking Video Posted: 18 Nov 2021 01:26 PM PST ![]() Zac Stacy, a former running back for the New York Jets, has been accused of beating his ex-girlfriend at her home in front of the couple’s 5-month-old son, Us Weekly can confirm. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 13, according to a press release from the Oakland Police Department. “Officers responded to an emergency call about a domestic disturbance,” read the statement, issued on Thursday, November 18. “Officers arrived on scene within two minutes, and were able to determine a domestic violence battery had taken place and that the suspect, Zackary Stacy, had fled the scene.” In a graphic video obtained by TMZ, the 30-year-old threw his ex across the room while their son was seated nearby. The force caused the victim to hit the TV, which then fell on top of her. Police have issued a warrant for Stacy’s arrest, and the victim has filed a restraining order against him. According to an affidavit for the arrest warrant obtained by Us, the woman sustained injuries to her torso, legs and face during the attack. The affidavit also noted that police previously responded to a verbal dispute the same address in August. One month later, they responded to another incident of possible domestic violence at the home but were unable to locate Stacy. The Vanderbilt University alum faces felony charges of aggravated battery and criminal mischief. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison for the battery charge and up to five years for the criminal mischief charge. “Efforts are underway to capture Stacy, and we would urge him to turn himself in and face the criminal charges,” the Oakland Police Department’s statement continued, noting that the incident is the subject of “an active and ongoing investigation.” In an Instagram video posted on Thursday, the victim asked her followers to contact law enforcement if they had any information about Stacy’s whereabouts. “I don’t know why his friends are hiding him,” she said. “If you see him, he drives a white Kia Optima, a 2020 I believe or a 2021. Please, again, if you see him or you know of any location that he might be, please turn him in or call your local authorities.” After video of the incident surfaced online, several current and former NFL players expressed their horror via social media. “For the record…. Any man that puts his hands on a woman is a coward!” tweeted Calais Campbell, a defensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens. “Short of defending yourself in a life or death situation, there is no excuse!” Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams tweeted, “I'm not retweeting the video but ZAC STACY NEED TO BE THROWN UNDER THE JAIL. Any man that puts his hands on a woman is a coward. Can't believe what I just saw.” Chris Long, who played with Stacy during his time with the St. Louis Rams, also slammed his former teammate in a tweet. "Woke up to the Zac Stacy video,” he wrote. “Made my stomach turn. Not retweeting. Crazy to play [with] someone for a couple years & you have no idea what kind of bullshit they do at home." If you or someone you know are experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support. With reporting by Diana Cooper |
‘Southern Charm’ Cast’s Dating History: Inside the Reality Stars’ Love Lives Posted: 18 Nov 2021 12:50 PM PST When it comes to Southern hospitality, the cast of Southern Charm doesn't stop at being "just friends." In fact, some of the show's biggest names, including Shep Rose, Kathryn Dennis and Austen Kroll have a history of dating their costars — in between off-camera romances. Kathryn, who shares two children with former Bravo personality Thomas Ravenel, was a bit of a wild child when the show first premiered in February 2014. During season 1, she hooked up with costar Whitney Sudler-Smith before romancing Thomas. She also flirted with Craig Conover and got cozy with Shep. "Without revealing too much, I had a wonderful time with Kathryn during our brief affair. I remember reading my favorite passages of books to her out loud on my couch, and I remember her writing me a four-page note and leaving it on my coffee table one morning," Shep wrote in his 2021 memoir, Average Expectations, noting he hooked up with Kathryn before she was a full-time cast member. "The note was so nice and raw and real that it still makes me feel warm and fuzzy to this day. I also remember tearing each other's clothes off … Oh wait, I said I won't reveal too much. She was lovely and I do believe I had a calming influence on her and maybe still do." Although Kathryn and Shep's romantic relationship included more than one sexual encounter, the model revealed in May 2019 that she doesn't regret that they were never official. “I will say life would be a lot different if I would have pursued him," she told a caller on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen at the time. “But I don’t really think I have a one that got away. I think I have a one that won’t go away.” Fans have watched a lot of relationships crash and burn throughout Southern Charm's seven seasons, including Austen's romance with Chelsea Meissner and Madison LeCroy. Craig's ups and downs with ex-girlfriend Naomie Olindo were also a big topic of conversation through the years. While some stars, including Cameran Eubanks and Leva Bonaparte, got married before appearing on the reality show, others have gone on to have successful romances outside of the show. Several cast members, including Landon Clements, Danni Baird and season 7 newcomer John Pringle, have embraced the single life aspect while hanging out in Charleston, South Carolina. Scroll down for a complete guide to the cast of Southern Charm's relationships: ![]() The model hooked up with costar Whitney ahead of her romance with Thomas in season 1 of the series. Kathryn dated Thomas on and off until 2016. They share two children, daughter Kensie and son Saint. Kathryn revealed in 2018 that she and costar Shep have hooked up multiple times before and after she became a mother. The two have remained friends over the years but never had a serious relationship. It was revealed during season 6 of the Bravo show, which aired in 2019, that Kathryn again hooked up with Whitney, although he denied that the incident ever happened for multiple episodes. The Charleston native briefly dated former Florida politician Joseph Abruzzo in 2018 before getting into a relationship with country singer Hunter Price. Kathryn met the singer during a New Year’s Eve trip to Nashville in 2018, but the two split after less than one year together in August 2019. Ahead of the show, he dated Danni, whom he’s remained close friends with for years. He has had flirtations with former costars Landon and Chelsea, but nothing ever came from either romance. The Average Expectations author most notably had an on-again, off-again hookup with Kathryn for years, but they never crossed over into something serious. He briefly dated the winner of his short-lived spinoff, RelationShep, Bella Clark in 2018. Shep confirmed his relationship with Taylor Ann Green in May 2020 after sparking relationship speculation earlier that year. Ahead of her breakup with Austen, Madison had a flirty relationship with season 7 newbie Pringle. Their checky interactions played out on Southern Charm, but never became anything serious. Us confirmed in January 2021 that the Greenville, South Carolina, native was “having fun” and getting to know former quarterback Jay Cutler following his split from Kristin Cavallari in April 2020. The relationship quickly soured after Madison made a video directed at the Uncommon James founder, with whom Cutler shares three children, because Cavallari was spotted hanging out with Madison’s ex-boyfriend Austen. “The world is full of users. 10 years. Can’t break that,” Cutler and Cavallari posted on their Instagram accounts. The TV personality then clapped back at the post by releasing her alleged text messages with Cutler, ending the short romance. The same month, Madison was accused of “flying around the country [and] sleeping with married men. Ex-MLB players,” by Craig during the season 7 Southern Charm reunion. The Southern Belle denied the allegations, but she later confirmed that the man in question was Alex Rodriguez, who was engaged to Jennifer Lopez at the time. “He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me. [It’s] never been physical,” she told the New York Post’s Page Six in February 2021. Two months later, Lopez and Rodriguez announced their split. Madison moved on with a new mystery man in June 2021, later revealing that his name was Brett. She hinted at the new romance in April of that year, telling a fan via Instagram that she had a boyfriend. She announced their engagement in October 2021 while still keeping his last name under wraps. Their romance played out a little bit in season 5 when he was dating the stylist’s friend Victoria, who continually questioned his loyalty amid Austen’s friendship with Chelsea. The Kings Calling Brewing founder found love again with Madison, but the pair’s rocky relationship came to an end after two years, with Madison confirming to Us in December 2020 that they were over. Following his split from Madison, Austen sparked romance speculation with Cavallari, after the pair partied together in late 2020. “She came to town with her friend Justin and the four of us [with Craig] had dinner,” Kroll told Us in November 2020 of their friendship. “We’ve all been in contact ever since. We’re in this, like, big old group chat, and the group chat is active. Jen Shah's Codefendant Sentenced to Time Served After Car Accident Posted: 18 Nov 2021 12:37 PM PST Jen Shah was indicted for her alleged role in a long-running telemarketing scheme while filming season 2 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — and all eyes are on the Bravo star as she faces up to 50 years in prison. Bravo viewers met Shah during season 1 of RHOSLC, which filmed in 2019 and aired in 2020. She quickly became a polarizing character on the franchise, with fans questioning her job and need for several assistants. "People will come to me and I'll invest in their companies, so we have a got a lot of different investments, all different kinds of things," Shah said of her career on Access Hollywood's "Housewives Nightcap" in November 2020. "I've been able to do it because what I've been able to carve out, the niche I've been able to carve out in the direct response marketing world." Not long after production began on season 2 of RHOSLC, which also stars Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow and Mary Cosby, news broke on March 30 that Shah and one of her assistants who appeared on the show, Stuart Smith, were arrested in Utah. "Jennifer Shah, who portrays herself as a wealthy and successful businessperson on 'reality' television, and Stuart Smith, who is portrayed as Shah's 'first assistant,' allegedly generated and sold 'lead lists' of innocent individuals for other members of their scheme to repeatedly scam," Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said in a press release. "In actual reality and as alleged, the so-called business opportunities pushed on the victims by Shah, Smith, and their co-conspirators were just fraudulent schemes, motivated by greed, to steal victims' money. Now, these defendants face time in prison for their alleged crimes." HSI Special Agent-in-Charge Peter C. Fitzhugh claimed that Shah and Smith "built their opulent lifestyle at the expense of vulnerable, often elderly, working-class people." "Shah and Smith objectified their very real human victims as 'leads' to be bought and sold, offering their personal information for sale to other members of their fraud ring," Fitzhugh said. "Working with our partners at the NYPD and the United States Attorney's Office, SDNY, and with the assistance of HSI Salt Lake City, HSI New York worked to ensure that Shah and Smith will answer for their alleged crimes. As a result, their new reality may very well turn out differently than they expected." A source told Us Weekly at the time that Shah is "embarrassed" by the scandal, which included NYPD detectives, Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York working together. "Jen is really humiliated that all of this is happening in the public eye and that it will be shown on Bravo," the source told Us on March 31, noting at the time that Shah hasn't "been talking to her castmates or friends" following her arrest. Scroll through for a breakdown of the charges and everything we know about Shah's legal drama: This is an ongoing article that was originally published in March 2021 and last updated on Thursday, November 18. ![]() “I own three different marketing companies and we do lead generation, data monetization, customer acquisition. The best way to describe it is, I’m the Wizard of Oz, I’m the one behind the curtain that no one knows exists but I’m the one making everything happen,” Shah told Access Hollywood in November 2020. “So, ads are popping to you guys and they’re like, ‘How the hell do they know I’m shopping at Neiman Marcus?’ That’s me.” She continued: “If you think about it, you know how much traffic is on the internet every second, all the people clicking. I’m making money on every click, anytime you click on anything I’m getting some money. I think because I’ve been blessed to be successful with my marketing background and my companies, I’ve really found a niche within the direct response marketing world. I’ve been able to branch out and invest in our fashion company, our skincare line, our lash line.” Rick Bowmer/AP/Shutterstock ![]() According to the press release, Shah and Smith’s alleged involvement in the scheme stems back to 2012. While they were indicted in March 2021, the case dates back to 2019 and 10 others — Anthony Cheedie, Chad Allen, Shane Hanna Cameron Brewster, Kevin Handren, Joseph Ciaccio, Joseh Minetto, Joseph Depaola, Derek Larkin and Mattie Cirilo — who were previously charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. Courtesy Jen Shah/Instagram ![]() Shah was booked on conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Both the Bravo star and her assistant face a maximum sentence of 30 years for the wire fraud charges and an additional 20 years for the money laundering charges. Gabe Ginsberg/Bravo ![]() Us confirmed that the Bravo cameras were rolling on the day of Shah’s arrest. “Jen was filming with a few of the other women present when she was arrested. The women were completely shocked when Jen was taken away,” the source told Us, noting that the group was gearing up for a trip to Colorado at the time. Another source told Us on March 31 that the cast “resumed filming after Jen’s arrest” without her. “Jen’s future this season remains unclear. If she will go back to filming or not, no one is really sure, she hasn’t resumed filming yet,” the source said at the time. Chad Kirkland/Bravo ![]() Following Shah’s arrest, she appeared before a Utah judge on March 30. The judge set the following conditions for her and Smith: must commit no federal offense upon release, must appear as required, no traveling outside of Utah with the exception of New York City court, no international travel, no contact with co-defendants and no engagement in telemarketing. They were subsequently seen leaving the Utah court and ignored all reporters' questions as they headed to their cars. Bravo ![]() Shah was set to be arraigned virtually on March 31 but couldn’t dial in because too many people were on the line. Judge Sidney Stein subsequently decided to continue Shah and Smith's arraignment to April 2 at 11 a.m. ET. Heidi Gutman/Bravo ![]() Shah called into her hearing on April 2 and pleaded not guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. She sought counsel from her local Utah lawyer, Clayton Simms, and from known white collar crime defense attorney Henry Asbill, who works out of Washington, D.C. The government described the scandal as a $5,000,000 money laundering scheme. Courtesy of hairbyendo/Instagram ![]() During the April 2 hearing, the judge set Shah’s bail at $1 million, giving her one week to pay the required $250,000 “to secure that bond in cash or property.” "There is a risk of flight here. It's not insubstantial,” the judge said. “I’m going to release her on the following conditions: I am going to require a personal recognizance bond of $1 million. I am going to require $250,000 to secure that bond in cash or property. She will have one week to comply." Shah’s lawyer then asked for two weeks to secure the bond, which the judge approved, but noted that Shah must sign the $1 million personal recognizance bond by the end of the day. Other conditions of her bail included no drug use or excessive alcohol, not being allowed to open any bank accounts and continued mental health treatments. Bravo ![]() The Bravo star’s attorney told the court that Shah doesn’t own her home — which was labeled as “Jen’s Chalet” on the series — or any real property. The government also alleged that she has not willingly disclosed her assets amid the investigation. When asked about her employment outside of telemarketing, her lawyer told the judge, “She's in the fashion business and on a news show as well … The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City." Courtesy of Jen Shah/Instagram ![]() During the April hearing, a judge set a trial date for October 18, 2021, noting that may change due to COVID protocols. During the August hearing, the trial was postponed until March 2022 following updated COVID-19 standards. Courtesy of hairbyendo/Instagram ![]() A source told Us exclusively in April that RHOSLC is “still filming” amid Shah’s legal drama. “Production sees this as a great storyline. One that everyone will want to see unfold,” the insider said. “It’s ratings gold. They're going to use as much footage as they can that they're legally allowed to use.” Fred Hayes/Bravo ![]() Shah filed a motion to dismiss her case, but it was denied by the judge in August 2021, Us Weekly confirms. In her initial ask, she was hoping charges would be dismissed. Additionally, her attorney, Daniel R. Alonso, along with colleagues Henry W. Asbill and Michael S. Chum, announced their resignation. Shah has retained attorney Priya Chaudhry, of ChaudhryLaw PLLC, to represent her in the case moving forward, according to the court documents. Rick Bowmer/AP/Shutterstock ![]() The lead-up to Shah's arrest by members of Homeland Security and the New York Police Department appeared in a season 2 episode of the series, which aired in November 2021. In the moments before she was taken into custody, Shah told her RHOSLC castmates that she was unable to go on a trip with them to Vail, Colorado, because her husband was suffering from a medical emergency. “I have some bad news,” she told costarGay as the cameras rolled pre-departure. “I just got a phone call and Sharrieff Sr.’s in the hospital. He has internal bleeding, so I need to go.” After telling Gay that the doctors weren’t “sure if they’re going to need to do surgery,” she shared the bad news with Rose, Barlow and Jennie Nguyen, who were on the bus getting ready to leave. Nearly 15 minutes later, the authorities pulled into the parking lot of Gay’s beauty clinic. “Is this a prank?” Rose asked. “Is Jen playing a prank on us, though?” Andrew Peterson/Bravo ![]() During a November 2021 episode of RHOSLC, Shah's costars were left in shock after Homeland Security showed up looking for her. "Other than our families, there was seven people that knew we were meeting at Beauty Lab today. I can't imagine anyone here would turn Jen in, but this looks really sus[picious]," Lisa Barlow noted in a confessional after Whitney Rose suggested that "someone told" the authorities where to find Shah. "I don't know anything, but I have a lot of questions around, like, Jen's lifestyle," Rose continued. "It intrigues me where she gets all of her money and all of her things from." Meredith Marks said in a FaceTime call with the cast that she was "not surprised" by the arrest, adding, "Too many things didn't add up and I've suspected that something was going on for a while. And now, it's validated that I was right [and] I'm not crazy. That's the bottom line." Chad Kirkland/Bravo(3) ![]() In November 2021, Joseph Ciaccio, who was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing in 2019, was sentenced to time served. According to attorney Ronald Richards, Ciaccio received the sentence because a recent car accident left him paraplegic. "Judge was very compassionate about it and did not follow the government recommendation and sentenced him below guidelines," Richards tweeted. Courtesy of Jen Shah/Instagram |
Anna Duggar Holds Josh Duggar's Hand Following Pretrial Hearing About Child Porn Case Posted: 18 Nov 2021 12:30 PM PST A united front. During her first public outing since giving birth to her seventh child, Anna Duggar showed support for her husband, Josh Duggar, amid his court battle. The pair were seen holding hands as they left an Arkansas courthouse on Thursday, November 18, following a pretrial evidentiary hearing requested by the judge for Josh, 33. In the clip, Anna, also 33, was seen placing her hand on her husband’s back as they made their way out. According to KNWA, the judge stated that another hearing with witnesses would be set before the trial begins on Tuesday, November 30. Anna and Josh’s outing comes days after she announced the newest addition to their family. “Meet little Madyson Lily Duggar! Anna, who also shares Mackynzie, 11, Michael, 10, Marcus, 8, Meredith, 6, Mason, 4, and Maryella, 24 months, with Josh, confirmed that they were expecting their seventh child in April. Later that same month, Josh was arrested on child pornography charges without bail. After being charged with receiving and possessing child pornography, his attorney entered a not guilty plea during his arraignment. "According to court documents, Joshua James Duggar, 33, allegedly used the internet to download child sexual abuse material," the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Western District of Arkansas said in a press release at the time. "Duggar allegedly possessed this material, some of which depicts the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, in May 2019." Josh was released on bond one month later and he faces up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines for each count if found guilty. He has not been able to return to his home with Anna, whom he married in 2008, and instead has been placed on home confinement with third-party custodians. At the time, a judge ruled that “close friends” of the Duggar family Lacount and Maria Reber would be providing Josh a place to stay. He is still allowed to have unlimited contact with his children, as long as Anna is present. The Florida native was also all smiles alongside her husband during a September court appearance where four motions filed by Josh’s attorney, Justin Gelfand, were denied. The request included a motion to suppress or dismiss evidence, such as a photo that was taken of Josh’s hands when he was in custody at the Washington County jail. During Thursday’s pretrial hearing, the prosecution filed a motion to introduce evidence testimony about Josh’s 2015 child molestation scandal. He was accused of molesting five girls between 2002 and 2003 when he was 14 and 15 years old, including some of his sisters. The details of the accusations came to light in 2015, the same year that Josh found himself named in a cheating scandal following a data leak from the website Ashley Madison. At the time, Josh entered a six-month faith-based rehab treatment. In March 2016, two months after he finished the program, Anna and Josh revealed that they were working on their relationship with a marriage counselor. "It isn't easy and some days are very difficult," they wrote in a statement on the Duggar family's website. "It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. We are very thankful for God's forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives." |
Luann de Lesseps Offers Erika Jayne Advice Amid Legal Woes Posted: 18 Nov 2021 12:27 PM PST Housewives helping Housewives! RHONY's Luann de Lesseps offered a piece of advice for Erika Jayne amid her ongoing legal and divorce drama: "Know who you are." While promoting her upcoming cabaret show A Very Countess Christmas, which kicks off Tuesday, November 30, in New York City, Luann, 56, told Us Weekly exclusively that she's not sure she would agree to be filmed if she was in the 50-year-old RHOBH star's shoes. "I think it’s difficult to go through [these things] already and then have them be fodder for the world to see, it's even more difficult," the former Countess stated. “Especially for Erika Jayne when we don't know how privy she was to the situation." Erika and her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, have been dealing with ongoing legal woes tied to a December 2020 lawsuit in which they were accused of embezzling settlement funds intended to help the families of plane crash victims. The reality star was sued in August for $25 million amid claims about her supposed involvement in Tom's alleged wrongdoings in connection to the 2018 Lion Air incident. However, she has continued to maintain her innocence as the drama played out in season 11 of RHOBH. "I don’t know if Erika Jayne knew or not, but I don’t think so," Luann, who is currently starring in the Real Housewives spinoff Ultimate Girls Trip, told Us. "Otherwise, why would you parade around like that?" However, the "Money Can't Buy You Class" singer thinks the Pretty Mess author must look inward to move past the drama that surrounds her personal life. Erika is also garnering headlines for her divorce from Tom, 82, after 20 years of marriage. "You have to know who you are," Luann said. "I think you have to know that your personal strength is much more important than what people think about you. That’s when you have to get grounded and just get strong and, you know, stay your course." Erika already appears to be following the "Girl's Code" songstress' lead and trusting in herself. ![]() Earlier this month, the Chicago actress let fans know she's been feeling better following an intense RHOBH season and "a "bombshell filing" in the Lion Air case that could potentially help clear her name, according to investigator Ronald Richards. "Everything's good," she told Extra's special correspondent (and former Housewife) Teddi Mellencamp on November 9. "Life is turning in a positive direction." LuAnn is also feeling good as she celebrates the release of her new holiday single, "What Do I Want For Christmas," and prepares to take the stage for the follow-up to her previous cabaret show #CountessAndFriends. "It's so great to be back live performing and just connecting with my fans," the model told Us, before teasing fans should expect more than a few surprises from her live act. "It's an all new Christmas show. You'll see me perform ‘What Do I Want for Christmas’ live for the first time," she added. Celebrities are just as obsessed with Disney World and Disneyland as anyone else — and these photos prove it. When Hollywood's most famous wish upon a star, they just might end up at one of Mickey Mouse's theme parks. However, some celebs have been making trips to Cinderella's castle long before they were well known. "I grew up in Orange County, so I grew up going to Disneyland all the time," Milo Ventimiglia explained during a February 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, noting that he spent an eventful 12th birthday at the park. "Growing up at Disneyland, I mean, it was one of those places that you'd go and you'd fall in love, but you'd also like go and like get in real trouble." Drew Barrymore experienced something most parents are familiar with when she took her daughters — Olive and Frankie, whom she shares with ex-husband Will Kopelman — to Disney World. The actress noted that her kids were on "a big puffy princess cloud" … until they weren't. "If you've ever taken your kid to Disneyland or Disney World, it all ends at some point in mayhem," she admitted on Late Night With Seth Meyers in February 2017. "That is a legitimate picture of my daughter just losing it on the floor." The image she showed had her little one experiencing a full-on tantrum while dressed up like a fairytale character. The pattern repeated itself during another visit. "This is her losing it at Disneyland — because it all ends up there," Barrymore said. "You push it enough because you're like, 'I'm here! Let's skip the nap! Let's go, go, go!' You want to maximize it. This is how it always ends for me." On the other hand, some stars worry their children won't enjoy Disney as much as they do. "We've gone to [Disneyland] probably a bit more than is healthy," Ginnifer Goodwin admitted to Disney Twenty-Three in February 2016. The Once Upon a Time alum and husband Josh Dallas' son Oliver is set to follow in her footsteps, but the actress still has her doubts. "He cries when we take him away from the characters instead of what most toddlers do, which is cry when the characters come to them," she elaborated. "I have a couple deep, dark fears about childbearing — like they won't love Disneyland because I'll oversaturate them." However, kids aren't the only ones who love riding Space Mountain again and again. Ryan Gosling has admitted he's a full-on Disney adult. The former Mouseketeer told Esquire in August 2011 that he "went through puberty in a theme park." While that might sound like a bad thing, the Remember the Titans actor admitted it was "grateful," telling the magazine, "That place was a landscape to me. I had adventures every day. … Backstage at Disney World, there are stories. Mickey Mouse with his head off, drinking coffee on break. Pirates on the phone. Ghosts in line for food. It just made me see things.” Keep scrolling to see celebs visiting Disney Parks through the years: ![]() The Dawson’s Creek alum jetted off to Walt Disney World in June 2021 with husband Mark Silverstein and their kids, Birdie and Cricket, for multiple days of family fun. “Humid-est Place on Earth! Queen Elizabeth II's 2021 Hospital Stay: Everything We Know Posted: 18 Nov 2021 11:56 AM PST Staying strong. Queen Elizabeth II‘s health has been the subject of much speculation after she completed a short hospital stay in October, but the 95-year-old royal isn’t ready to slow down too much. The monarch first sparked concern after she walked with a cane during an October 12 appearance at Westminster Abbey in London for a Service of Thanksgiving. When the queen arrived at the church, her daughter, Princess Anne, handed her the accessory. Earlier in the month, Elizabeth walked on her own during a visit to Scotland with her eldest son, Prince Charles. The royal matriarch is also the mother of Prince Andrew and Prince Edward with her late husband, Prince Philip, who died at age 99 in April. Three weeks after her Scottish appearance, the monarch canceled a trip to Northern Ireland after her medical team recommended that she take it easy. "The Queen has reluctantly accepted medical advice to rest for the next few days," Buckingham Palace said in an October 20 statement, adding that she was "in good spirits" and "disappointed" to miss the planned events. One day later, a spokesperson for the palace revealed that Elizabeth spent the night in the hospital after canceling her Northern Ireland plans. "Following medical advice to rest for a few days, The Queen attended hospital on [October 20] for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits," Buckingham Palace said in a statement on October 21. The queen seemed to recuperate within a few days, returning to work on October 26 to receive ambassadors from Korea and Switzerland via video link. Later that day, however, Buckingham Palace confirmed that she would not attend an upcoming event in Scotland. "Her Majesty is disappointed not to attend the reception but will deliver an address to the assembled delegates via a recorded video message," the palace said in a statement. The monarch was set to appear at a reception on November 1 with other world leaders, including President Joe Biden and U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Earlier in October, news broke that the queen previously declined an award called Oldie of the Year presented by The Oldie magazine. "Her Majesty believes you are as old as you feel," Tom Laing-Baker, the royal’s assistant private secretary, wrote in a letter that The Oldie shared via social media on October 19. “As such the Queen does not believe she meets the relevant criteria to be able to accept and hopes you find a more worthy recipient." She will be unable to attend the Festival of Remembrance on November 13 — but intends to be present for the National Service of Remembrance the following day. I think the whole country wishes her well.” Alastair Grant/AP/Shutterstock ![]() The queen quelled fears about her health when she went out for a drive on Monday, November 1. That same day, it was confirmed that the monarch would attend the annual Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph on November 14. “As in previous years, Her Majesty will view the Service from the balcony of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office,” a statement from the Palace read. However, based on previous advice from her doctors, she will not go to the General Synod Service on November 16. Her son Prince Edward will attend as previously planned. Hannah Brown Breaks Silence on Brother Patrick Dating Jed Wyatt’s Ex Haley Posted: 18 Nov 2021 11:44 AM PST A wild web worthy of Bachelor Nation. Hannah Brown opened up about her relationship with her brother, Patrick Brown — and his romance with her ex-fiancé Jed Wyatt's former flame Haley Stevens for the first time. "I love my brother and I’m just so thankful for all the changes that he’s made in his life," the 27-year-old former Bachelorette exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the Tuesday, November 23, release of her memoir, God Bless This Mess. "Because that just really impacted the way that our family dynamic is. Both of us have kind of gone on our own journey of healing." In her book, Hannah gets candid about childhood disagreements with her brother and his March 2020 overdose, recalling his subsequent stint in rehab. She told Us that they were the first in their family to go to therapy and "seek that help" amid respective struggles. ![]() "That’s really cool and I’m really proud of him for that," she added. When it comes to Patrick's relationship with Stevens, however, Hannah didn't exactly celebrate the romance when asked by Us. "About his love life — I don’t choose who my brother loves and who he wants to be with," she told Us. "But I love him and want him to be happy." The former Miss Alabama was briefly engaged to Wyatt, 27, after he proposed on the 2019 season of the ABC series. The twosome split while the show was airing amid allegations that the country singer had a girlfriend (Stevens) at home. While Wyatt maintained that he was single and Stevens knew he was going on the reality series when they connected pre-show, Stevens shared alleged text messages in which he said "I love you” just before he left to film. Hannah's younger brother has been linked to Stevens since February. In April, she hinted at how serious they are, writing, "I sure love lovin' you @patrickbrown81 ![]() While Hannah went public with boyfriend Adam Woolard in February, Wyatt, for his part, has been dating Ellen Decker since late 2019. In God Bless This Mess, Hannah details her broken engagement and navigating post-show feelings for runner-up Tyler Cameron and third-place contestant Peter Weber. "The whole issue with all that is I didn't trust myself enough to make a decision," she told Us. "What you see kind of as a pattern in the book, like, if you don't really trust yourself [and] know yourself, then it's really hard to make decisions about love and relationships, especially in an intense amount of time." God Bless This Mess: Learning to Live and Love Through Life's Best (and Worst) Moments is available for preorder and hits stands on Tuesday, November 23. |
Prince Charles Says Queen Elizabeth II Is Doing 'Alright' After Back Sprain Posted: 18 Nov 2021 11:44 AM PST ![]() Taking it easy. Prince Charles revealed how his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, is feeling after her absence from the annual Remembrance Day celebration. “She’s alright, thank you very much,” the 73-year-old royal told Sky News while attending an event in Jordan on Wednesday, November 17. “Once you get to 95, it’s not quite as easy as it used to be.” The Prince of Wales then quipped, “It’s bad enough at 73.” Charles’ update on the 95-year-old monarch comes shortly after she was forced to miss the Sunday, November 14, service honoring fallen veterans at London’s Cenotaph memorial due to a sprained back. At the time, Buckingham Palace noted in a statement that the queen was “disappointed” to skip the event. Elizabeth previously canceled a number of public appearances last month on the recommendation of her doctors. On October 20, she was briefly hospitalized but was sent home after being monitored overnight. She returned to work right away, much to the concern of her loved ones. “They’d been urging her to take it easy for months,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively earlier this month, adding that the queen received “a huge bouquet of flowers” from Prince William‘s wife, Duchess Kate. The long-reigning royal “hates people fussing over her” and is “not a quitter,” but began “handing over some of her duties” to Charles and William, 39, while she recovered, the insider said. Elizabeth’s eldest son is first in line for the throne, with the Duke of Cambridge following behind him. When his father, Prince Philip, died at age 99 in April, Charles inherited the late royal’s Duke of Edinburgh title. The honor will likely be passed down once again once Charles becomes king, which he’s long been preparing for. “This is something he’s dreamed about his entire life — he sees it as his birthright, and Her Majesty would find it extremely difficult to deprive him of that,” a source told Us in November 2020, noting that “Charles will serve as king with [his wife] Duchess Camilla by his side.” William, for his part, has ideas of his own for when he’s the one in charge. “While he respects protocol, he plans to modernize some aspects and is making it his mission to be more relatable than previous generations,” a separate insider noted earlier this year. “He takes his future role as King and seriously and sees it as a great honor and privilege to be in his position. The Monarchy and his family will always come first.” |
Katie Thurston Hints She’d Be Open to Michael A. Reunion After Blake Split Posted: 18 Nov 2021 11:32 AM PST Red (Katie's Version). Katie Thurston reminisced about her relationships from season 17 of The Bachelorette while listening to Taylor Swift's new album, Red (Taylor's Version). The Grammy winner, 31, has dealt with plenty of speculation about the inspiration behind the mixture of breakup songs and love songs that make up the record, which was released on Friday, November 12. Many fans believe some of the key tracks — including the new 10-minute version of "All Too Well" — are based on Swift's 2010 romance with Jake Gyllenhaal, though she has never confirmed the theory. Red originally dropped in October 2012 and is the most recent album to be rerecorded by the singer. As for Thurston, 30, she also knows what it is like to date in the spotlight after starring on The Bachelorette earlier this year. A fan recently asked her via DM to "label ur contestants as songs on red," and after an overwhelming majority agreed in a November 11 Instagram Story poll that she should do it, she began her "12 Days of Messy" challenge. The reality star weathered her fair share of ups and downs while on the ABC show. Michael Allio left ahead of the hometown dates because of his son. He revealed during the Men Tell All in July that he would like to give the relationship another shot, but Thurston shot him down at the time. Greg Grippo then exited after his hometown date and a blowup fight with the former bank marketing manager. She lashed out at him during the After the Final Rose special that aired in August, but she later divulged via Twitter that the exes had "spoken privately and moved on." After multiple surprise departures, Thurston got engaged to Blake Moynes during the August finale after he arrived late to her season. However, the pair announced their split in October after trying to make a long-distance relationship work. Despite the public heartbreaks, the Washington native has not stopped searching for The One. "She's still hopeful on finding love but wants to make sure her head is in the right space," a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. "Right now, she's just figuring out what she wants to do in life. In her mind, her future was with Blake, so now she just has to start fresh and figure out her next steps." Scroll through the gallery below to see which Swift songs Thurston assigned to her exes from The Bachelorette. ![]() The TV personality kicked things off with her ex-fiancé, 31, playing “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and hinting that she has no interest in reuniting with Moynes. ABC/Craig Sjodin (2) ![]() Thurston doubled down on her initial assessment of Jacobs, 29, whom she deemed a villain during her season but showed support for after he began dating Becca Kufrin during season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise. Her pick of “I Knew You Were Trouble” seemingly earned some backlash from Kufrin, 31, as fans speculated that the season 14 Bachelorette unfollowed Thurston due to the shade. Katie Holmes’ Dating History: Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx and More Posted: 18 Nov 2021 11:32 AM PST Katie Holmes may tend to keep the details of her love life private, but the general public has long been intrigued nonetheless. The Dawson's Creek alum has been linked to many high-profile men over the years, among the most notable being Tom Cruise. While engaged to Chris Klein in 2004, she told Seventeen magazine that she "used to think that I was going to marry" the Mission: Impossible actor. Holmes began dating Cruise in 2005, the same year she called off her engagement to the Sweet Magnolias actor. The First Daughter star revealed her plans to convert to Cruise's religion, Scientology, that June and they announced their engagement later that month. The A-listers welcomed their daughter in April 2006 and tied the knot in Italy that November. Nearly six years later, Holmes filed for divorce. The case was finalized in August 2012. Holmes spoke to InStyle in March 2020 about the aftermath of her divorce from Cruise, in which she moved with their daughter to New York City. "That time was intense. It was a lot of attention, and I had a little child on top of it," she explained. "We had some funny moments out and about in public. So many people I didn't know became my friends and helped us out, and that's what I love about the city."
