Keeping it moving. Peter Weber has tried on-again, off-again relationships in the past, but he’s since decided he no longer wants to revisit the past.

Former 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' Leads: Where Are They Now?

“I wouldn't go back to anything that hasn't worked,” the former Bachelor, 30, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Saturday, November 13, release party for his new book, The Adventures of Pilot Pete. “It didn't work for a reason. And I know it's hard and a lot of people struggle with that, but where I'm at now in my life, I just realize if it's gonna work, it's gonna work. … I wouldn't go back to anything in the past. I'm only looking forward.”

The Virginia native proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss during the Bachelor season 24 finale, but they split after the pilot realized he still had feelings for runner-up Madison Prewett. After Weber and Prewett, 25, broke up, he later reconnected with another season 24 contestant, Kelley Flanagan. The pair dated for 10 months before calling it quits in December 2020. After briefly reconciling in early 2021, they ended things for good in February.

The former Delta pilot hasn’t been publicly linked to anyone since his split from Flanagan, 29, but after some time on his own, he’s ready to start dating again.

“Everyone has kind of been there, where you've been through a period of singleness,” he told Us at the book event, which took place at the Life Rooftop in New York City. “Now, I've gotten to the point where I'm feeling like I can get back out there again and see if there's a relationship out there for me.”

Weber recently joined the dating app Chispa, designed for Latinx singles, and while he’s “definitely open” to meeting people that way, there’s one place he’s not interested in looking for love again: television. Asked whether he would do The Bachelor again, he said that he wouldn’t.

“It's just not the most organic way to meet someone,” he explained. “As a lead, you're dividing so much attention and energy that it eventually drains you at some point to give to so many people, because out of respect to them, you have to.”

For now, he’s focused on promoting The Adventures of Pilot Pete, a children’s book about a young boy who becomes fascinated with planes at a young age. Though he’s in the kid lit world for now, he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a memoir for adult readers who’ve watched him on The Bachelor.

“If I'm ever able to, I’ll write it,” he told Us. “I will give the people what they want, because yeah, it'd be entertaining, it'd be fun to write.”

The Adventures of Pilot Pete is available for preorder now and will hit stores on Tuesday, November 23.

Staying Friends! Joe Jonas Supports Ex Taylor Swift at 'SNL'

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 04:07 PM PST

Love lost doesn't mean friendship lost for all famous exes! Several former celebrity couples have proven that pumping the brakes on their romance doesn't mean that they can't become friends afterward.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's post-breakup bond has become the golden standard for cordial former lovers. The A-listers got married in 1987 and finalized their divorce in 2000 after having three children: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah.

Two decades after their split, the pair spent part of the coronavirus pandemic together in early 2020 while quarantining alongside their daughters in Idaho. (Willis' wife, Emma Heming, later joined the exes and brought daughters Mabel and Evelyn.)

"We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we're probably as close now as we ever were," the Die Hard star told Rolling Stone in 2000. "We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside."

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, meanwhile, began dating in 2003 but split in 2007. After calling it quits, the former flames costarred in 2011's raunchy comedy Bad Teacher — a film that saw the pair's characters hook up on screen.

At the time of Bad Teacher's release, the "Can't Stop the Feeling" crooner said that he didn't feel awkward filming the intimate scene with Diaz. "I didn't look at it like that," he previously told Access Hollywood. "We obviously know each other, but I looked at it as a really funny, funny scene that I've never seen done before."

Timberlake continued, "What I actually remember was, you know, they got to my closeup for that scene, so I was just kind of by myself — which is hard to imitate in real life. Jake [Kasdan], the director, kept yelling out, 'OK, more contorted! Uglier face! Flare your nostrils! Curl your lip up … more!' And I'm trying not to laugh."

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were also able to come out on the other side after their rocky romantic relationship, which lasted from 2006 and 2015. The exes have established a good friendship and strong coparenting dynamic for their three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign.

After splitting from Sofia Richie in late 2020, Disick has spent more time with the Poosh founder, including at her sister Kim Kardashian's 40th birthday bash that October 2029. A source told Us in November 2020 that Kardashian and Disick's dynamic has changed.

"Kourtney and Scott's relationship has taken a bit of shift recently — spending more time together and being more kind with each other," the insider revealed. "Scott has always loved Kourtney, and the door is open on his side in case she ever wants to take their relationship back to a romantic place."

Take a look at more famous ex-lovers, such as Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie, have maintained close relationships after splitting up.

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato
The former Disney Channel stars, who previously dated for four months in 2010, reunited in October 2021 at a Halloween celebration. Jonas shared a selfie of the exes via Instagram Story, alongside a purple heart sticker and even tagged his former flame. Lovato later reshared the snap on their Story. Drew Barrymore and Tom Green
Not only did the former couple, who were married from 2001 to 2002, tearfully reunite in a September 2020 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, but the exes chatted via Instagram Live the following year. “Will you give [your parents] my love?” Barrymore asked in the September 2021 exchange, which Green said that he would “of course” do. Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler
The twosome announced their split in April 2020 after 10 years together, and although their separation got off to a rocky start, they've worked to put on "a united front" for their three children: Camden, Jaxon and Saylor. "He's their father. That's important and they need to see that from me," Cavallari told Mr. Warburton in May 2021, four months after the former couple posed side by side for a friendly Instagram pic. Alex Rodriguez and Cynthia Scurtis
Despite their "very messy" history, the exes became "good friends" in the wake of the retired athlete's split from Jennifer Lopez in April 2021, a source told Us. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick
The Keeping Up With the Kardashian costars developed a good friendship and coparenting relationship after dating on and off from 2006 to 2015. “I do think we are very lucky to be doing it this way and we can, if we have an issue or something that, you know, one of the kids is going through, we can deal with it together,” Kardashian told Disick in an April 2019 chat for her Poosh brand. “Nobody knows our kids better than us so to be able to do that together and, like, come up with solutions together, I think is, you know, there’s no better [way] … Like, what else could you want.” Courtesy of Kourtney Kardashian/Instagram
Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz
Bonet and Kravitz, who are parents of daughter Zoë Kravitz, divorced in 1993 after six years of marriage. However, the former couple have forged a close bond as friends, even after the Cosby Show alum married Jason Momoa in 2017. “People can’t believe how tight Jason and I are, or how tight I still am with Zoë’s mom, how we all relate,” Lenny said in Men’s Health’s November 2020 issue. “We just do it because that’s what you do. You let love rule, right? I mean, obviously, after a breakup, it’s work — it takes some work and time, healing and reflection, et cetera. But as far as Jason and I? Literally the moment we met, we were like, ‘Oh, yeah. I love this dude.’” Lionel Hahn/ABACA USA/Startraks
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin
After consciously uncoupling in 2014 and divorcing in 2016, the former A-list pairing developed a strong coparenting relationship. In October 2020, the exes had a beach double date in The Hamptons with Paltrow’s husband, Brad Falchuk, and Martin’s girlfriend, Dakota Johnson. “Chris is a very close friend,” the Goop founder told the Evening Standard in 2019. “I see him every day, I talk to him every day. And it was very difficult, but I think you see in the children that they got through it, so I am proud of us, I really am. We kept to our commitment that we would put the children first.” Colin Young-Wolff/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt
Aniston and Pitt had a dramatic separation in 2005 following rumors of his alleged affair with now-ex-wife Angelina Jolie. Since then, the former pair have become good friends. Now it’s getting serious. Dionne Warwick has seemingly heard about the “All Too Well” saga — and she thinks it’s high time Jake Gyllenhaal returned Taylor Swift‘s scarf.

“If that young man has Taylor's scarf he should return it,” the “Walk on By” singer, 80, tweeted on Monday, November 15. “It does not belong to you. Box it up and I will pay the cost of postage, Jake.”

As Swifties are well aware, the scarf is an iconic piece of the songwriter’s lore made famous by the anthem “All Too Well,” which is now back in the spotlight nearly a decade after its original debut thanks to the release of Red (Taylor’s Version) on Friday, November 12. The first scarf mention comes in the opening verse of the song with the line, “I left my scarf there at your sister’s house / And you’ve still got it in your drawer even now.”

The Grammy winner, 31, has never outright confirmed that “All Too Well” is about Gyllenhaal, 40, but fans have long believed that the track contains references to the duo’s brief 2010 relationship. No matter who or what the song is about, though, the scarf now has a life of its own. Swift even sold replicas of the scarf worn by Sadie Sink (and later Dylan O’Brien) in the All Too Well short film, also released on Friday.

Even Maggie Gyllenhaal — the presumed “sister” of “your sister’s house” — has been dragged into the discourse, having fielded many questions about the scarf over the years. “I never understood why everybody asked me about this scarf. What is this?" the Secretary actress, 43, said during a September 2017 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. "I am in the dark about the scarf. It's totally possible [I have it]. I don't know. I have been asked this before."

Swift, for her part, doesn’t much care whether her exes think her music is about them. "I haven't thought about their experience, to be honest," the “Bad Blood” songstress said during the Thursday, November 11, episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers.

“I think that’s the biggest burn,” host Seth Meyers quipped in response. “I think there’s nothing they’d rather hear less.”

Listeners have come up with their own theories about the lyrics, but the Cats star feels like the songs belong to her fans now rather than anyone she did or didn’t date. “These songs were mine years ago when they were written. Now they're ours, now they're shared,” she told Extra on Friday. “Every person out there might have someone they think of when they hear the song. That's what I want."

“Hello. It’s Will Daniels. You know, some things get better with age, like the wisdom of Mr. Feeny,” the Boy Meets World alum, 94, said in the video on Sunday, November 14. “So I’m here to tell you to listen to the new and better version of Red by Taylor Swift, mostly based, on the recommendation of my granddaughter Grace.”

Daniels and wife Bonnie Bartlett share two sons, Michael and Robert, and several grandchildren, including the Taylor Swift-supporting college freshman.

“As you know all too well, believe in yourself, dream, try [and] do good,” he shared, quoting his character Mr. Feeny’s iconic Boy Meets World finale speech.

Swift, 31, replied to the social media post, writing, “My brother and I are FREAKING OUT, we’re huge fans!!!! This is so awesome. Thank you! And thank you Grace!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰.”

Daniels’ positive review comes after the performer dropped a reimagined 30-track album alongside a short film for “All Too Well.” Swift, who has been rerecording all of her past discography, opened up about her efforts to have full ownership of her music.

“One of the things about the whole discussion over music ownership is that this was something that started out as a really hard thing I went through,” the Miss Americana star told Entertainment Tonight on Friday, November 12. “The fans are the people who turned it into something very empowering. They were just saying to me over and over again, ‘We wanna listen to your versions. If you redo it, that’s what we’ll listen to.'”

Swift has been vocal about her attempts to win back ownership of her masters after leaving her former record label, Big Machine, in 2019. The Pennsylvania native has since released a new version of 2008’s Fearless and 2012’s Red followed shortly after, in large part due to the support of her fans.

“If they hadn’t done that, I don’t think I’d be having this amazing, exciting experience of being here,” Swift added on Friday, noting that she kept her fanbase in mind when creating original content to go along with the release. “I just wanted to think about what could I do over the course of one week that would make them as happy or try to make them as happy as they’ve made me.”

Swift, who directed and appeared in the All Too Well short film alongside Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien, explained that the process was “as all-consuming as writing a song.”

“I felt as fulfilled by it as I do when I craft a song, and think about every aspect of it,” she added at the time. “It comes together and then it goes out into the world.”

Following the Friday, November 12 premiere of the film, which is believed to be inspired by Swift’s brief romance with Jake Gyllenhaal, the songwriter dropped a music video for “I Bet You Think About Me” on Monday, November 15. The video was directed by Swift’s longtime friend Blake Lively and featured Miles Teller (with a cameo from his wife Keleigh Teller).

The 33-year-old was pulled over in Columbus County, North Carolina, on Friday, November 12. According to arrest records obtained by Us Weekly, he was charged with driving with a revoked license and possession of an open container.

Eason reportedly posted $750 bond and was released from jail. He’s set to appear in court on February 16, 2022, one week after a hearing for prior driving infractions, including speeding and using an expired registration tag.

The Teen Mom alum, 29, previously addressed the status of her spouse’s license in May while arguing with a social media troll. “In the state of NC, they will SUSPEND your license until you pay your tickets off. So it was never revoked and only suspended for 2 days,” she wrote in a TikTok comment at the time.

The pair tied the knot in May 2017 and welcomed daughter Ensley, now 4, the same year. Evans also shares son Jace, 12, with ex Andrew Lewis and son Kaiser, 7, with ex Nathan Griffith.

In October 2019, the MTV personality declared via Instagram that she intended to file for divorce from Eason after he admitted to killing the family’s dog. Evans, for her part, temporarily lost custody of Kaiser and Ensley after the incident.

However, the separation was brief. By March 2020, Evans confirmed in a YouTube video that she and Easton had reconciled.

And I really do think this is forever, especially because lately we’ve been really getting along, like, for longer periods of time than before. So, it’s great.”

Evans later sang Eason’s praises, defending his parenting skills with a heartfelt Instagram tribute.

“This picture explains a lot: The love for her dad is really big, she likes to build sandcastles with him and the love for the beach,” she captioned a series of family photos in April. “No matter how badly you hate @easondavid88, he’s the best father he could ever be. Only if you knew us personally maybe then you would agree, until then, stop judging our lives because we’re doing just fine #BeachDay #Family #DaddysGirl.”

Drew Barrymore Reacts to Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's Romance

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 02:05 PM PST

Even the stars want answers! Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian‘s recent outings have raised eyebrows among both fans and fellow celebrities.

The duo first connected when Kardashian, 41, hosted Saturday Night Live on October 9. In one of the sketches, the reality star locked lips with the Set It Up actor, 27, while they were imitating Jasmine and Aladdin, respectively.

Several weeks later, Kardashian was spotted holding hands with the Guy Code alum while riding a roller-coaster at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Travis Barker, Kourtney Kardashian, Stephanie Shepherd, Harry Hudson and other friends also tagged along for the fun-filled trip.

While some fans were convinced sparks might be flying between the KKW Beauty founder and the Meet Cute actor as they went on to spend time together in New York City, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the twosome “are just friends right now.”

According to the insider, “No one really knows what is going on with Kim and Pete. … Things could turn romantic.”

The California native filed for divorce from Kanye West in February after nearly seven years of marriage. The estranged pair share children North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2. Before she was linked to Davidson, Kim had some concerns about getting back into the dating world amid her divorce.

“She’s not focused on dating at the moment but actually worries that guys will not want to date her because of how public her relationship was with Kanye,” an insider told Us in June. “She also knows how hard it is to build trust with someone, so she thinks it’s going to take time before letting someone into her private life. It was easy with Kanye because they were friends before so they had years’ worth of trust.”

Davidson, for his part, most recently sparked a whirlwind romance with Phoebe Dynevor. Us exclusively confirmed in April that the pair were dating after they were spotted getting cozy in the U.K. one month prior. They attended their first event as a couple in July during the Wimbledon tennis tournament, but by the following month, they had split.

“The distance put a strain on the relationship and it made it hard to maintain,” a source exclusively noted in August, adding that Davidson and the Bridgerton actress, 26, “had a great time while they were together.”

Scroll down to see how celebs are reacting to Davidson’s rumored romance with the Skims CEO:

Emily Ratajkowski
During a November 9 appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, the supermodel explained Davidson's appeal. "He's got the height," she said. "Obviously, women find him very attractive." She didn't comment on whether her friend Kim is dating the comedian, who was a guest during the same late-night episode, but the My Body author noted that she mostly finds herself defending Davidson to men — not women. "Guys are like, 'Wow, what's that guy got?' I'm like, 'He seems super charming, he's vulnerable, he's lovely,'" Ratajkowski continued. "His fingernail polish is awesome. He looks good! ... Good relationship with his mother." Kristin Callahan/Shutterstock
Dr. Phil
The TV personality weighed in on the rumored romance during an appearance on E! News’ Daily Pop on November 9. "Oh, I think they're dating,” he said, to which cohost Morgan Stewart asked, "Hooking up for headlines or really, really dating?" Dr. Phil questioned why people can’t do both, explaining, "That doesn't mean you can't monetize your relationship. Why not monetize your relationship, if it's good for both of them, right?" Gregory Pace/Shutterstock
Bethenny Frankel
The Real Housewives of New York City alum has doubled down on her theory about the comedian, tweeting on November 3, “Years later, I still maintain that Pete Davidson shoots diamonds out of his penis. ... He needs a deal with @ZalesJewelers (and yes he is talented, charming, smart & cute) but his game is tight.” David Buchan/Shutterstock
Kate Beckinsale
The Underworld actress, who briefly dated Davidson in 2019, was caught "liking" a meme about the comedian's "nice personality" helping him win over major Hollywood stars. Broadimage/Shutterstock

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
"Funny guys do a lot," the Cravings cookbook author told TMZ on November 3 while out in Los Angeles with her husband. "Look at John [Legend] — he's hysterical. Who wouldn't want to be in love with a funny guy?" Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Ed Sheeran
The "Shivers" singer, who performed on the November 6 episode of SNL, weighed in on the rumors on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up several days later. "I don't know the ins and outs of that [situation]," he told the hosts, calling Davidson "a very cool guy." As the radio personalities continued to speculate, Sheeran had the final say. "I feel like people's private lives are called private for a reason," he said. "Why do we care? It's their life." Brian J Ritchie/Hotsauce
Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager
The Today cohosts attempted to dissect the pair's body language at the amusement park, with Kotb joking, "Their fingers were interlaced, which is a clue." While Kotb appeared to be on the fence about whether a romance could be brewing, Hager was more convinced. "She's in New York, they're going to dinner. Something has to be going on," she said on November 4. "Something is going on! She has children in L.A. She is in New York going to dinner with him. I heard it was two nights in a row." Nathan Congleton/NBC
Fortune Feimster
"I honestly didn't believe the Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian dating rumor until I just read she went to Staten Island," the Champions alum tweeted after the twosome's trip to Davidson's native borough. "Even I know you don't go there to just see a friend." MediaPunch/Shutterstock

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett Celebrate Ocean’s 8-Month Birthday Separately

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 01:59 PM PST

Growing girl! Lala Kent and Randall Emmett both gushed over their daughter Ocean on her 8-month birthday.

The Vanderpump Rules star, 31, welcomed her first child in March with then-fiancé Emmett, 50. However, eight months later, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair separated after more being engaged for three years.

The exes didn't let their split damper Ocean's 8-month celebration on Monday, November 15, as both Kent and Emmett shared sweet messages to their baby girl via social media.

"8 months ago you changed my life forever Ocean," the Midnight in the Switchgrass director wrote via Instagram alongside a photo holding a newborn Ocean. "This was within the first hour you came into this world."

Emmett, who also shares daughters London, 11, and Rylee, 8, with ex-wife Ambyr Childers, added: "I will love you and cherish you forever my angel. Happy 8-month birthday. Love your Dad."

Kent, for her part, shared a series of Instagram Stories videos with her fans in honor of her little one's special day.

"Happy 8 months my little angel. Are you excited?" the Give Them Lala Beauty founder said in one of the clips on Monday, which showed Ocean sitting outside in Los Angeles with a big bow on her head. "Hey, you're getting too big. You're scooting now. You're eating purees. I know it's so fun. Love you."

Ocean started to mess with her Give Them Lala Baby accessory, which Kent captured on film.

"Are you already getting this party started, O?" the Utah native asked her daughter. "Look at that bow. She's like, 'How do I get it off?'"

After Ocean giggled and pulled down her hair bow, Kent couldn't help but gush over how cute she is a little bit more.

"You look gorgeous. It's more of a bowtie now. I dig it!" she said. "Gorgeous."

The former "Give Them Lala … With Randall" podcast cohosts got engaged in September 2018 after going public with their romance earlier that year.

Kent sparked split speculation three years later when eagle-eyed fans noticed she wiped all photos of Emmett from her social media pages. She was then spotted without her engagement ring on walking around L.A. in October.

Amid the breakup rumors, both of the stars continued to post photos of their daughter on their respective accounts.

Us confirmed earlier this month that the Bravo personality pulled the plug on the relationship.

"For now, she's not wearing her ring and she's truly focused on her daughter and her projects,” a source exclusively told Us at the time, adding that "the trust is gone" between them.

Kent addressed the breakup on November 3 during her podcast, explaining that she wasn't ready to talk about everything that happened just yet.

"I feel like it's weird because I, for the first time, have no idea what my future holds,” the Give Them Lala author said at the time. “My future was ahead of me and I was like, 'This is the plan.' And I'm kind of just letting the universe take control of my life and place me where I need to be. I'm not questioning anything."

Through the ups and downs, the former couple have remained committed to coparenting their daughter.

"Randall and Lala's focus right now is on Ocean and making sure she's taken care of and that both of her parents are in her life no matter what," an insider told Us on November 10.

A second source, however, claimed that Kent has been "predominately taking care of Ocean" since the split, noting, "She's a full-on single mom taking care of Ocean, at least for now until they have a coparenting schedule in place."

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Reveal Their Celebrity Crushes

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 01:50 PM PST

Hollywood heartthrobs! Celebrities are just like Us — they get crushes on famous folks and can become starstruck when they see certain stars.

Amy Adams admitted in November 2020 that after watching old movies starring Robert De Niro, including The Godfather and The Deer Hunter, she got a "retroactive crush" on the actor.

"Meaning, like, I have a crush on him in the ’70s,” the American Hustle actress told Jimmy Kimmel at the time. “I mean, not that I wouldn’t have a crush on him now, but you know, I’m married.”

Before finding love with Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner revealed she tried to pick up Friends alum Matthew Perry. The Game of Thrones alum opened up about the experience in June 2019, saying that after she spotted Perry rehearsing for a play next to her house in 2016, she began frequenting the local grocery store nearby to get a glimpse of him and make her move.

"I would walk around the corner every day and I would see Matthew Perry smoking a cigarette," she recalled during a "#BehindTheTweets" interview with Twitter. "And I bought a lighter from Budgens [store] so that I could walk up to him and offer to light his cigarette. [Unfortunately] it was already lit, so, that was just embarrassing."

Olympian Simone Biles, on the other hand, fell hard for Zac Efron well before she won a gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Biles gushed to Us Weekly in August of that year about her crush on the High School Musical star before meeting him in Rio weeks later while doing an interview on the Today show.

"On cloud 9 @zacefron," the athlete captioned a GIF of herself kissing the actor on the cheek after their surprise meeting. Biles then tweeted a series of photos with the Baywatch star, writing, "He kissed me on the cheek just letting y'all know."

Crushes are not limited to loving someone from afar. Emma Watson, who played Hermione in the Harry Potter franchise, revealed that she was smitten with her costar Tom Felton (who played Draco Malfoy) early on in their friendship.

"For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush," the Beauty and the Beast star told Seventeen in June 2011. "He totally knows. We talked about it — we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool."

Scroll down to revisit the wildest and the most understandable celebrity crushes of all time.

Dax Shepard and Daniel Ricciardo
The host of the “Armchair Expert” podcast revealed in a November 2021 interview with Ellen DeGeneres that after years of crushing on Brad Pitt, he had a new man in his life: Australian Formula One driver, Daniel Ricciardo. After Ricciardo appeared on an episode of “Armchair Expert,” he said the two of them "kind of hit it off." Shepard joked that he “pushed hard, got a phone number” and now they’re inseparable. “We've just really been building this thing that's culminated in us seeing the world together, really,” The Ranch alum said. His wife, Kristen Bell, was very much on board. "They're really cute. I fully support this," she told DeGeneres. Shutterstock (2)
Cardi B and Robert Pattinson
The “WAP” rapper bumped into the Twilight star at a November 2021 event in Beverly Hills — and couldn’t control herself. "Look who I met the other day!" she wrote via Twitter. "I felt like a teen!" The proof of Cardi's fangirling is in the video she shared, which shows her introducing Pattinson as “her friend” before she starts screaming. All he could do was smile. Shutterstock (2)
Selena Gomez and Chris Evans
The Rare Beauty founder shared her crush on the Captain America: The Winter Soldier star during a 2015 interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn't he cute? He's very cute," Gomez noted during the late-night appearance when she was asked about her love life. After Cohen noted that Evans' brother bartended on WWHL one week earlier, she excitedly added, “Really? Last week? Maybe it’s meant to be.” The Disney Channel alum and the MCU star later sparked romance speculation in October 2021 after social media fans noticed the pair were spotted at the same Los Angeles locations around the same time. Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon
The “Jolene” singer told W Magazine in October 2021 that she’s “always had good luck with late-night guys,” which might explain her crush on the host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.  "Well, I have a crush on Jimmy Fallon, but I'm big now, I can't excuse myself on that!" the 9 to 5 actress joked, adding, "I think he is precious. He's so funny. We get along so good." That closeness she shares with the Saturday Night Live alum might have something to do with the hours he keeps. "I guess there's something about those late-night people that kinda hits my fancy and I hit theirs somehow,” the country music icon explained. “I guess it's 'cause you feel like you can be more free late at night. You don't have to worry about what you say." Gregory Pace/Shutterstock; Photo Image Press/Shutterstock
Elizabeth Olsen and Frank Sinatra
The Wandavision star told W magazine in August 2021 about her childhood crush on the famed musician. “I loved classic musicals, and I was in love with Frank Sinatra,” Olsen told the outlet. “I would do scenes with him in my bathroom, which then turned into scenes with George Clooney as I got older and I realized Frank Sinatra was an old man. I was like, ‘Well, maybe if I get older, I can at least work with George Clooney, as his daughter’s friend or something, and then we have a thing.’” Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock; Snap/Shutterstock
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly
In a July 2021 GQ profile, Machine Gun Kelly (real name Colson Baker) dished about all of his dreams coming true — and not just because of the musical accolades he's earned, but because of the lucky lady on his arm during all the red carpets.  The GQ writer, Wesley Lowery, attended high school with the “Bloody Valentine” rapper and reminisced that his old friend long admired the New Girl alum, explaining that Baker was “the teenager who got the Decepticons logo from Transformers tattooed on his arm and hung a poster of Megan Fox in his bedroom.” Baker confirmed that the aforementioned poster was from a GQ shoot that Fox had done at the time, calling this interview “some full-circle s--t.” ABC/Shutterstock; Broadimage/Shutterstock
Emma Stone and Leonardo DiCaprio
Stone's favorite memory of winning best actress at the 2017 Academy Awards was receiving the trophy from her childhood crush. "That was what was going through my mind ‘cause it was him. ... I'd seen Titanic seven and a half times in theaters. He was the love of my life," she said during an interview on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show in May 2021. "I had a picture of him in my bedroom that was signed, that I had gotten for my birthday when I was like 12 years old. I was walking to Leo and I was like, 'This is officially the most surreal moment of my life.' I could not believe it." She added: "I think he probably thinks I'm like a little weird, ‘cause whenever I see him, I'm kind of like, 'Hey, how's it going?' You know, just in little moments, either at the same event or something. He's very sweet though. But that was truly — that was what was the craziest experience was the fact that it was him." Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Amy Adams and Robert De Niro
The Sharp Objects alum revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in November 2020 that she got a “retroactive crush” on De Niro after watching his older films for the first time, including The Godfather and The Godfather Part II. “I have a crush on him in the '70s," she said. "I mean, not that I wouldn't have a crush on him now, but you know, I'm married." After Kimmel joked that having a crush on the actor “in the ‘70s” and not on him “in his 70s,” Adams noted that she hasn’t ruled De Niro out based on age just yet. "I mean, I'm open to having a crush on him in his 70s. I think that could happen,” she added. Shutterstock (2)
Chelsea Handler and Andrew Cuomo
The comedian joked that she wanted the New York governor to "govern" her in a June 2020 Instagram comment. Four months later, she called him a "big, Italian hunk" on The View and revealed that she had asked him on a date. "He did say yes. And then I never heard from him," she claimed. Sam Smith and Shia LeBeouf
The “Dancing With a Stranger” singer has their eyes set on the Transformers star! Smith revealed their celebrity crush on LeBeouf during an interview with SiriusXM’s Hits 1 in December 2019. “Do you know who came up on my phone last night? Shia LaBeouf,” the British musician said. “He’s so fit. He turns me on.” The “How Do You Sleep?” singer revealed the one reason the actor will probably stay their crush and not a real romance, noting, “I don’t think he’s gay. But I’ll be happy to be his first.” Shutterstock (2)
Noah Schnapp and Zendaya
Stranger things have happened! The Netflix star has taken a shining to Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Zendaya. In July 2019, he bluntly told Wired magazine, “I like Zendaya.” This wasn’t his first public admission either. He shouted her out from the podium during his acceptance speech at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards when he won for Most Frightened Performance. “Hi, Zendaya!” he beamed in June 2018. The actor finally met Zendaya for the first time at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards in October 2019. "I just … I remember seeing her in the corner of my eye and walking up to her," he recalled on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March 2020. "And I was really, really nervous and I was like, ‘Oh, my God. It's actually her. This is the first time I'm meeting her.' And she smelled great. And she was so … she was so cute and she was, like, towered over me and she, like, bent down and she was like, ‘Hi, Noah,' with her little squeaky voice. Yeah, I remember everything." achel Murray/Getty Images for Netflix; Kristy Sparow/Getty Images for Lancome
Sophie Turner and Matthew Perry
Turner revealed in a Twitter Movie in June 2019 that she once tried to pick up the Friends alum by offering him a light while he was rehearsing a play near her home. "Every day... I would see Matthew Perry smoking a cigarette. And I bought a lighter from Budgens so that I could walk up to him and offer to light his cigarette. And it was already lit, so, that was just embarrassing,” she confessed in the clip. The Dark Phoenix star said she later tweeted about her run-in with the actor, but to little avail. “I thought he might see this tweet and then, I don’t know, reach out to me, and ask me on a date or something, but he didn’t," she said. Jennifer Lawrence and Timothée Chalamet
The Hunger Games star, 27 at the time, made her love for the then 22-year-old actor — who she called “so, so talented and hot” — known in February 2018. “Timothée, I’m waiting for him to get a little bit older, you know?” she admitted to Entertainment Tonight. “[I’m] buttering him up like a pig for slaughter, and then I’m going to swing right in there as soon as he’s, like, 30. He’s old enough to say that, right? He’s over 18? What if I was like, ‘He’s hot!’ and he’s 15?” aylor Hill/FilmMagic;Kevin Mazur/Wireimage
Meryl Streep and Will Ferrell
Forget Ryan Gosling! The three-time Oscar winner revealed that she prefers Will Ferrell. “The movie that makes me cry is Anchorman,” Streep told W in January 2015. “I have the biggest crush on Will Ferrell. I love him in every film he does. I mean, Ryan Gosling could be my child. I’m not going to have a crush on a child. Will Ferrell is a man.” Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic;Mike Marsland/WireImage
Matthew McConaughey and Susan Sarandon
Step aside, men! McConaughey had his eyes on Sarandon in June 2013. “Susan Sarandon is still to this day one of the sexiest women,” he told W at the time. “You know what it is? Susan’s got those pores. [They] are large. Like, woman comes out of her and honesty comes out of her. I just find her sort of very crushable.” Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images; Chance Yeh/Getty Images
Emma Watson and Tom Felton
Hermione and … Draco?! Turns out, Watson was smitten with Felton early in filming for the Harry Potter franchise. “For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush,” the actress admitted to Seventeen in June 2011. “He totally knows. We talked about it — we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.” Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images; Frazer Harrison/Getty Images
Adam Rippon and Shawn Mendes
The Olympian shared his affection for the singer during a March 2018 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I used to have a really big crush on Harry Styles, but here’s the thing: I was sleeping on Shawn Mendes,” the figure skater said. “Not literally, but I didn’t realize how cute he was … I know Harry will be upset, but … love is a funny thing.” The athlete met Mendes days later at an Oscars afterparty. Marianna Massey/Getty Images; Greg Gayne/Getty Images
Helen Mirren and Vin Diesel
Mirren publicly declared her love for Diesel long before the two costarred in 2017’s The Fate of the Furious. “I’m a huge fan of Vin Diesel,” the Oscar winner admitted during an April 2015 appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. “It came from me watching him make a speech once at some ceremony. He was just so smart and so funny and so cool, and I just sort of fell a little bit in love with him right there and then. Vin, I love you. I love you, Vin. You don’t know who I am, but I still love you.” John Shearer/Getty Images; Kevin Mazur/Getty Images
Nicole Kidman and Jimmy Fallon
The comedian didn’t know about Kidman’s crush on him until years later when she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the first time. “I just remember I liked you. … And you didn’t talk at all,” the Oscar winner said in January 2015 of their set-up. “So after about an hour and a half, I thought, ‘He has no interest. This is so embarrassing.’ So I left and went, ‘OK, no chemistry. Maybe he’s gay!’” Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images; Gerardo Mora/FilmMagic
Cole Sprouse and Jennifer Aniston
The Riverdale actor has spoken frequently about his childhood crush on his Friends costar. “I had a really, really hard time working with Aniston because I was so in love with her,” Sprouse told the New York Post in an interview published in March 2017. “I was infatuated. I was speechless — I’d get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank. It was so difficult.” Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic; razer Harrison/Getty Images
Simone Biles and Zac Efron
Efron is a popular celebrity crush. In fact, Biles told Us Weekly in August 2016, “I have such a crush on Zac Efron.” Weeks later, a dream came true when the High School Musical star traveled to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to surprise the athlete. Bella Thorne and Kristen Stewart
The Disney alum expressed her desire to date Stewart in an April 2017 Harper’s Bazaar interview. “She’s so hot,” Thorne offered. “She seems like the raddest chick, I’d be so down.” Gregg DeGuire/WireImage; Pascal Le Segretain/amfAR/WireImage
Diane Keaton and Channing Tatum
Keaton revealed during a May 2015 sit-down on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she would like to tie the knot with Tatum, who at the time was married to Jenna Dewan. “Channing Tatum is actually married to someone else … not me?” the First Wives Club actress exclaimed. Dylan O'Brien and Chloë Grace Moretz
The Maze Runner star first gushed over Moretz in June 2011. “I wanna give a special shout-out to Chloë Moretz because she is the most badass little chick that I’ve ever seen,” he told Hollywire. “What she did in Kick-Ass was amazing, and I have a crush on her.” O’Brien took his statements back when he realized she was 14 and he was 19 at the time. Alec Baldwin's 'Rust' Tragedy: Debra Messing and More Stars React

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 01:17 PM PST

Offering their condolences. Celebrities and filmmakers took to social media to send their love to the family of Halyna Hutchins, who died during an accidental shooting on the set of Rust.

While filming at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Thursday, October 21, Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed the 42-year-old cinematographer and injured director Joel Souza. After the incident, both Hutchins and Souza, 48, were rushed to receive medical attention.

Hutchins was pronounced dead at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, while Souza was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. The Crown Vic director was released from the hospital on Friday, October 22, according to Deadline. Production on the film was halted and the set is currently closed.

Baldwin spoke out about the incident for the first time on Friday. “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours,” the 30 Rock alum, 63, wrote in a statement posted via Twitter and Instagram. “I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

Juan Ríos, a spokesperson for the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department, said that the actor “came in voluntarily” to talk to investigators, adding that the incident would be treated like “any other investigation."

After the shooting, Shannon Lee, the sister of Brandon Lee, spoke out about the tragedy. Brandon, the son of Bruce Lee, died at age 28 in 1993 after a similar incident occurred on the set of The Crow.

"Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on Rust," she wrote via Brandon's official Twitter account, which she runs. "No one should ever be killed by a gun on a film set. Period."

Rust Movie Productions LLC, the company producing the film, also released a statement after the incident on Thursday. “The entire cast and crew has been absolutely devastated by today's tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Halyna's family and loved ones,” the statement read. “We have halted production on the film for an undetermined period of time and are fully cooperating with the Santa Fe Police Department's investigation. We will be providing counseling services to everyone connected to the film as we work to process this awful event."

George Clooney
The Ocean's Eleven star addressed the tragedy during a November interview on the "WTF With Marc Maron" podcast. "I've been on sets for 40 years and the person that hands you the gun, the person that is responsible for the gun, is either the prop or the armorer, period," he explained. "This is one of those things. I was friends with an actor named John-Erik Hexum, who accidentally pulled a gun up with a blank in it and put it to his head and died from the concussion. And then I was good friends — really good friends — with Brandon Lee."  The Oscar winner went on to say that Lee's death is one of the reasons he is extremely careful with guns on set. "Now, every single time I'm handed a gun on the set, every time they hand me a gun, I look at it, I open it," he said. "I show it to the person I'm pointing it to, I show it to the crew. Every single take you hand it back to the armorer when you're done." Joel C Ryan/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Jensen Ackles
"I'm not even sure where to start," the Supernatural alum, who stars alongside Alec in the film, wrote via Instagram. "This has been a tragedy of epic proportions that we are all still processing." Ackles called Hutchins "an inspiration" before sending condolences to her husband and child. "Earlier last week, I felt compelled to tell Halyna just how awesome I thought she was," he recalled on Thursday. "I told her how incredible I thought her camera shots were and just how exciting it was to watch her and her team work. Truly. She laughed and said thank you and gave me a hug. I'll forever be thankful we had that moment." Kathy Hutchins/Shutterstock
Hilaria Baldwin
Alec's wife broke her silence via Instagram days after the incident, writing that her "heart is with" those who were affected. "It's said, 'There are no words' because it's impossible to express the shock and heartache of such a tragic accident. Heartbreak. Loss. Support," she added. Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Debra Messing
The Will & Grace veteran defended Baldwin after a conservative commentator suggested that the actor should be investigated as a criminal. "A prop gun was handed to him," she tweeted. "He used it in the scene. Then- a catastrophic event happened where Halnya Hutchins lost her life and Joel Souza was injured. I am praying for all of their families." Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin)
“Sending all my love to the family of Halyna Hutchins,” the model wrote via Instagram Story after her uncle’s incident. “This is a truly unimaginable and devastating tragedy. My thoughts are also with Joel Souza as he recovers. I am absolutely heartbroken for everyone involved.” Rob Latour/Shutterstock
Florence Pugh

Taylor Swift's Celebrity BFFs Through the Years

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 01:10 PM PST

Bad blood? Eh, not much! Since launching her music career in 2006, Taylor Swift has amassed quite the Rolodex of celebrity friends.

The Grammy winner — who once admitted that "never being popular as a kid was always an insecurity" of hers — aligned herself with the likes of Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss in the early 2010s. In more recent years, however, that exclusive squad has evolved as Swift began to surround herself with a more tight-knit group of ride or dies. Some friends have stayed put, while others have drifted away.

"In my 20s I found myself surrounded by girls who wanted to be my friend," the "Shake It Off" singer wrote in a May 2019 Elle essay. "So I shouted it from the rooftops, posted pictures and celebrated my newfound acceptance into a sisterhood, without realizing that other people might still feel the way I did when I felt so alone."

In the same essay, Swift noted the importance of "learning the difference between lifelong friendships" and what she called "situationships."

"Something about "we're in our young 20s!" hurls people together into groups that can feel like your chosen family. And maybe they will be for the rest of your life. Or maybe they'll just be your comrades for an important phase, but not forever," she continued. "It's sad but sometimes when you grow, you outgrow relationships. You may leave behind friendships along the way, but you'll always keep the memories."

As time passed, the country-pop star started to realize who her true friends were: "the ones who stuck around" through her highs and lows.

"I have friends and fans in my life who don't care if I’m #canceled," she wrote. "They were there in the worst times and they're here now."

Swift included some of her most trustworthy pals in her 2015 "Bad Blood" music video, including Selena Gomez and Lena Dunham.

"There has always been this quality of sisterhood, and I don't say that in a basic way," she said of her friendship with Gomez in a January 2020 interview with WSJ. Magazine. "I knew from when I met her I would always have her back."

The "Rare" songstress echoed a similar sentiment about the Cats actress, telling the publication, "We both went through s–t at the same time. She taught me a lot about how I should be treated at a young age."

Olivia Rodrigo
The “Déjà Vu” singer, who describes herself as a Swift “fangirl for life,” sparked a friendship with the Grammy winner after dropping her first single, “Drivers License,” in January 2021. After hearing the track, Swift wrote Rodrigo a letter and sent her one of her rings as a gift. "I don't want to divulge too much because it's really sweet and personal, but she talks a lot about how, I think, you make your own luck in the world," the Bizaardvark alum told Billboard in its May 2021 cover story. "I don't know, she put it so eloquently, and when I say it now ... it's not as cool.” Rodrigo later gushed about Swift after meeting her at the 2021 BRIT Awards in May. "It's so nice to be welcomed into the music industry and so great to be supportive of other women," she told Variety in August 2021. Richard Young/Shutterstock
Camila Cabello
Swift has been a good friend to the former Fifth Harmony member over the years, throwing her an 18th birthday party and later inviting her to serve as an opening act on the Reputation tour. In August 2021, Cabello revealed that she thought of Swift as her "fabulous godmother" after her guidance helped her find her way professionally. "I started out and I was a teenager when I met her, like 18 or something, and she always gave me great advice," the "Havana" singer told Entertainment Tonight at the time. "She was always really supportive of me and really nurturing and sweet. So in the industry, I would say her." Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Swift started hanging out with the Gossip Girl alum and the Deadpool star in 2015. She included the couple’s daughter James’ voice in her 2017 song “Gorgeous” and revealed their third child Betty’s name in a 2020 track. The following year, Lively directed the music video for Swift's reimagined version of "I Bet You Think About Me." The “Enchanted” singer and Kloss enjoyed an all-girls California road trip in 2014 and have been photographed several times in NYC. “I think she’s the coolest girl,” the model told Us at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “She’s a great role model, and I love her music.” However, Swift and Kloss reportedly had a falling out in 2019 after the musician called out the entrepreneur’s friend Scooter Braun for purchasing her masters. Fans later speculated that the Grammy winner’s Evermore song “It’s Time to Go” — which included the lyric “When the words of a sister come back in whispers / That prove she was not in fact what she seemed” — was about Kloss. Romance rumors began to swirl as the singers became fast friends while collaborating. “Literally, I went in there and we passed the guitar back and forth and played songs to each other,” he told TVNZ of their platonic relationship in 2013. The former X Factor judge has been friends with Swift just as long as Gomez. In 2013, the trio had fun as they FaceTimed each other. "Just a Saturday night. Taylor's tea, Demi's laugh. Bindi Irwin, Robert Irwin Pay Tribute to Their Late Dad on Steve Irwin Day

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 01:04 PM PST

Forever in their hearts. Bindi Irwin and Robert Irwin have paid tribute to their father, Steve Irwin, many times in the years since his heartbreaking death.

Steve — a wildlife conservationist and beloved television personality — died at age 44 after being pierced by a stingray barb in September 2006. He was survived by his children and his wife, Terri Irwin.

Although Bindi and Robert were only 8 and 2 at the time of their father's passing, they've grown to carry on his legacy in ways both big and small. Today, the family continues to run the Australia Zoo, which Steve's parents started in the 1970s.

Those who have come into the siblings’ life in the years since Steve's death also love to pay tribute to the beloved zookeeper.

"Thank you for inspiring me and the whole world to love all wildlife," Bindi's husband, Chandler Powell, captioned a photo of Steve with a crocodile to celebrate the late naturalist's birthday in February 2020. "You would be so proud of Bindi, Terri and Robert carrying on the amazing work you started. We will all make sure your message lives on for generations❤🐊."

During a September 2019 conversation with Us Weekly, Bindi and Chandler revealed their plan to honor Steve by incorporating khaki and animals into their wedding.

"I really wanted Dad to be a big part of the day, so I'm excited to be able to incorporate him throughout the ceremony and the reception, and I think it's going to be really special because I feel like his spirit lives on in us," Bindi told Us at the time. "It's going to be a celebration of family and friends, our wildlife, and I think that night, it'll be about our lives together and the joining of families. It's going to be beautiful."

Terri noted that she was reminded of Steve often while wedding planning with her daughter and Powell.

"I always think about what would Steve be doing, and while we're discussing the wedding planning and the details, I know he would just be crying because he was so soft on the inside and loves [Bindi] and Robert so much and would have loved you, Chandler, and he would have definitely cried at the wedding. He couldn't have given a speech. … It would have been incredibly special," she told Us.

The couple tied the knot at the Australia Zoo in March 2020. One year later, they welcomed their first daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.

Scroll to see more of Bindi and Robert's sweetest tributes to their late father:

Bindi's Sweet Words
“Dad, Today is your birthday,” Bindi wrote via Instagram in February 2020 alongside a throwback of herself and her dad holding a porcupine together. “I had an extra strong cup of tea just how you liked it. I hugged Mum for you and told her how much we love her. Robert and I went on a hike through the mountains you cherished. I watched one of your documentaries with Chandler and shared stories about you. I walked through your office in the zoo and smiled at our old family photographs.” Australia Zoo via Getty Images
Baby Grace's Name
Bindi’s first daughter, Grace Warrior, was named in honor of Steve. “My dad was the first person to create the term ’Wildlife Warrior,’” Bindi explained in a February 2021 interview with The Bump. “Being a Wildlife Warrior means to stand up and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We’ve been referring to our daughter as our Baby Wildlife Warrior. I know in my heart that she will forge her own path to make our planet a better place.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock; Shutterstock
The Wedding
Powell told Us exclusively in September 2019 that the pair planned to incorporate khaki into their wedding in honor of Steve. After they stuck to their word, Terri opened up about the pair’s sweet nod on Instagram. “I love that Steve and Robert both wore khaki. I know Steve would have worn khaki to Bindi & Chandler’s wedding, too,” she wrote in March 2020. “I wish he could have been there to see the most special day in his daughter’s life. We miss him so much.”   Jeff Christensen
Continuing His Work
Bindi told Us in May 2019 that filming her family’s reality show, Crikey! It’s the Irwins, made her feel close to her father. “It just feels right. I know when Dad passed away, it was a really challenging time and I was quite little,” she said. “I was really, really young and when you’re at that age, everything’s a little scary and unknown territory and we’re all dealing with grief and I remember saying to my mom, ‘When can we start filming again?’ Because it was something that I knew and I was used to.” Robert also works hard to continue his father’s legacy through his own conservation efforts. “Today marks the end of our annual crocodile research trip to the #SteveIrwinWildlifeReserve. Over the last month we caught 39 crocodiles, from ‘Ryan’ who tied for being the largest croc in the system at over 15 feet long to little ‘Pingu’ at just under 3 feet. This year brought the total crocs tagged to 213 in the study. This research was all started by Dad and to this day we still use the same methods of capture that he created,” the wildlife photographer wrote via Instagram in September 2020. “Our crocodile research began 17 years ago when Australia Zoo joined forces with the University of Queensland to conduct world leading science and lead the charge in crocodile conservation. And today we get to keep this vital work going, using state of the art solar tracking technology to learn even more about these amazing animals make sure Dad’s mission and passion for croc conservation continues! 🐊.” Discovery
Taking the Stage
Bindi dedicated a dance to her father while competing on Dancing With the Stars in 2015. “What shaped me the most would probably be when my dad passed away,” she revealed in a pre-taped package before the performance. “For the rest of my life, I’ll kind of feel like he’s going to come home.” ABC
Family Legacy
Bindi noted in February 2021 that she’s happy she can introduce her daughter to her father through his documentaries. “[He] would’ve been a good grandpa,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t think we would’ve ever seen our daughter. He would’ve just whisked her away into the zoo and it would’ve been perfect.” Discovery+
A Hard Anniversary
The sibling duo often honors their father on the anniversary of his death. “You’ll be my hero for my entire existence. I love you more than words can describe,” Bindi wrote via Instagram in September 2016 to mark the 10th anniversary of Steve’s passing. James D Morgan/Shutterstock
Driver’s License

Ride On
Robert revealed in February 2021 that he’d fixed up his father’s old motorcycle. “I have so many memories of Dad’s old motorbike — hanging on to the front with Bindi as we’d ride around the zoo with Dad,” he wrote via Instagram. “And now after being in the shed for a few years, it’s all fixed up and running again. It’s so special to be riding it after all this time!” Courtesy of Robert Irwin Photography/Instagram
Baby Grace’s Guardian Angel
The Dancing With the Stars alum shared a sweet snap of her daughter in September 2021, noting that the little one had been watching old footage of her late grandfather. “This sweetheart has been watching her ‘Grandpa Crocodile’ on the projector at our camp here on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve,” Bindi wrote via Instagram. “She lights up when she sees him on screen. I wish with all my heart that Dad could hug my beautiful girl. It’s been 15 years since he passed away. I hold on to the thought that he’s her guardian angel now, watching over the most special part of my life, Grace Warrior. ❤️” Courtesy of Bindi Irwin/Instagram
Steve Irwin's Lasting Legacy
Bindi paid a special tribute to her late dad on November 15, 2021, which is Steve Irwin Day, an international celebration of his life and career. “Your legacy will live on forever,” she wrote via Instagram. “I love you for even longer.” Her brother, Robert, also thanked the fans who celebrate his father’s commitment to conservation all year round. “It means the world to see so many people sharing stories and memories of how my dad changed their lives and inspired them,” he posted on Instagram. “It is the honor of my life to get to continue his mission.” Bei/Shutterstock

Erin Andrews Doesn’t Watch ‘DWTS’ After Exit: 'Hopefully They're Happy'

For the best. Dancing With the Stars fans were shocked when Erin Andrews left the show in 2020, but the TV host now thinks her exit was a blessing in disguise.

“I give my best to them. My schedule has been so crazy with [football commentating], the clothing line, the podcasts … trying to have a baby, that I think it was the best thing for me,” the sportscaster, 43, told Us Weekly exclusively on Monday, November 15, while promoting her new apparel collaboration with the NHL. “They wanted to go a different direction, and they’re doing that now. So, hopefully they’re happy.”

In July 2020, ABC announced that Andrews and longtime DWTS cohost Tom Bergeron would not be returning to the series for season 29. The University of Florida alum first appeared on the show as a contestant during season 10 in 2010, then joined as a cohost in 2014 for season 18.

"Thank you ABC and the entire Dancing With the Stars family for 6 memorable seasons," the former Good Morning America correspondent tweeted after the network announced her exit. "Those years wouldn't have been as special without my loving host Tom Bergeron, the talented dancers, and witty judges."

Two months later, Andrews said she found out she wouldn’t be returning to the show during a surprise phone call. "I answered the phone,” she told Extra in September 2020. “I was like, 'This isn't good.'"

The Fox NFL reporter told Us that she no longer watches DTWS, but she is still close friends with Bergeron, 66. “Tom and I will always be attached to the hip and super, super close as well,” she explained. “I love him so much. He’s one of the best, very fun [people] to have a couple of cocktails with — kind of an afternoon situation.”

Even without her ballroom gig, the Maine-born presenter has plenty to keep her busy. She and her husband, Jarret Stoll, are trying to have a baby, and she’s in the middle of an action-packed NFL season. She’s also gearing up for the release of new NHL-licensed apparel with her WEAR by Erin Andrews line, which includes T-shirts, leggings, sleepwear and more.

Though Andrews is primarily known as a football commentator, she actually got her start as a sideline reporter for the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team. Her husband, 39, is also a former pro hockey player.

“That inspired it,” she told Us of the NHL collaboration. “Being with my husband and going to the games and cheering for him, and … trying to figure out what to wear to the games and during the championship run. … I wanted to create a line for women who wanted to cheer for their team, but maybe go for drinks after or go for dinner, and not feel like they were a super fan.”

The oversized sweatshirts are some of Andrews’ favorite pieces in the line, along with the “super soft and comfy” lounge set. “We have a lot of options,” she added. “And hopefully something for everybody.”

Ed Westwick: It Was 'Hard' Not to Fall for Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 12:27 PM PST

It’s hard to stop life from imitating art. Ed Westwick opened up about filming Gossip Girl opposite Leighton Meester — and said acting like he was in love with her wasn’t the most difficult part of his job.

“It’s hard not to fall in love with Leighton — like, have a part of me fall in love with her, you know?” Westwick, 34, admitted during a Q&A session with fans at Monopoly Events’ Comic Con Liverpool, held on Saturday, November 13, and Sunday, November 14, at England’s Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

Westwick played Chuck Bass, the bad boy of the Upper East Side, while Meester, now 35, played Blair Waldorf, who was the queen bee among their high school friends. The characters eventually fell in love on the teen drama, which ran from 2007 to 2012 on The CW. Their epic romance is even still remembered on HBO Max’s Gossip Girl revival among the new class of Constance-St. Jude students, some of whom dressed up as iconic Upper East Side couple for a costume party.

The British actor continued to praise his onscreen love interest, telling fans, “She’s amazing.”

Chuck and Blair’s epic romance was one of viewers’ favorite relationships on Gossip Girl, but Meester wasn't the only costar Westwick formed a close bond with. He's still friends with Chace Crawford, who played Nathaniel Archibald, and the duo even agreed to be roommates while filming the show's pilot. At the time, they weren’t even sure if Gossip Girl would get picked up.

“We lived together the first two years in Chelsea, [New York], and we had a blast,” Westwick said in Liverpool. “He’s a couple of years older than me so it’s a little bit, kind of, an older brother role. Westwick, Crawford, now 36, and their fellow Gossip Girl cast members were a tightly knit group, with some even sparking romances with one another in real life. The Single Parents actress, for her part, dated Sebastian Stan from 2008 to 2010 while he guest starred as Carter Baizen. She later moved on with husband Adam Brody, who she married in 2014. They share daughter Arlo, 6, and welcomed a son in September 2020.

In a New Yorker profile, published on Monday, November 15, Stewart, 31, recalled the story of how Pattinson, 35, was cast to play Edward Cullen in Twilight — and admitted she knew he was the one for the role almost immediately.

The Adventureland actress opened up about how the 2008 film's director, Catherine Hardwick, had the Good Time star come to her house in Los Angeles to read lines — and make out.

"It was so clear who worked," the Chanel model told the magazine about Pattinson's audition. "I was literally just, like …," she said before pretending to swoon.

The Batman star had an "intellectual approach that was combined with 'I don't give a f–k about this, but I'm going to make this sing,'" she noted. "And I was, like, 'Ugh, same.'"

Stewart joked that both she and Pattinson "were young and stupid" when they made the first of four movies in the Twilight Saga. "And, not to say that we made it so much better [with our acting approach]," she continued. "But that's what it needed, and that's what anybody playing those parts needed to feel."

One year after the release of Twilight, Stewart and Pattinson started dating only to part ways in 2013 after the Spencer star sparked cheating rumors with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

"It was incredibly painful. … Relationships — you just never f—king know," Stewart told The Daily Beast of her public breakup.

"So much was taken from us that, in trying to control one aspect, we were just like, 'No, we will never talk about it. Never. Because it's ours,’" she said in September 2019.

Later that same year, the Clouds of Sils Maria actress admitted that Pattinson was her "first love," and she probably would have married him if he had asked at the time. “I don't know," she said on Howard Stern's radio show in November 2019. "I'm not a super duper traditionalist, but at the same time, like, yeah."

Earlier this month, Stewart revealed that she had gotten engaged to Meyer after two years of dating.

"We're totally gonna do it," she told Stern in November. "I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it. We're marrying, it's happening."

"I've always tried to compartmentalize my personal life and my working life," Styles, 27, explained during an interview with Dazed magazine on Monday, November 15.

The U.K. native and Wilde, 37, originally sparked dating rumors after they collaborated on the upcoming psychological thriller. Styles, who replaced Shia LaBeouf in the leading role alongside Florence Pugh, was spotted holding hands with the director at his manager’s wedding in January.

At the time, a source told Us Weekly that the pair developed a connection after working together.

“Harry and Olivia had chemistry almost instantaneously on set," the insider revealed. "It was only a matter of time before they got together.”

Wilde went public with Styles two months after her split from former fiancé Jason Sudeikis. The exes are parents to son Otis, 7, and daughter Daisy, 4.

Another source noted to Us that the singer and the House alum tried not to draw too much attention to themselves on set.

“Olivia and Harry were able to keep their relationship under wraps for a bit before it became public knowledge,” the second insider shared with Us. “They were very careful about it and even sleuthy at times, although the small group of people who were on set with them every day eventually figured it out.”

The Booksmart director later gushed about her boyfriend on social media after filming for Don’t Worry Darling wrapped in February.

"Little known fact: most male actors don't want to play supporting roles in female-led films," she wrote of the former One Direction member via Instagram. "The industry has raised them to believe it lessens their power (i.e financial value) to accept these roles, which is one of the reasons it's so hard to get financing for movies focusing on female stories. No joke, it is harrrrrd to find actors who recognize why it might be worth it to allow for a woman to hold the spotlight."

She continued: "Enter: @harrystyles, our 'Jack.' Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold center stage as our 'Alice,' but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity,” Wilde continued. “He didn't have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace, and blew us away every day with his talent, warmth, and ability to drive backwards. 👊 #dontworrydarling."

Since then, the couple have continued to spend time together amid their busy schedules, with Wilde even joining the performer on his tour.

“Olivia and Harry have an ease to their relationship, they love and support each other, but also let each other be free and work on their own,” a third source detailed to Us in July, ahead of the New York native’s multiple appearances at her boyfriend’s concerts. “Both of them respect the other’s work and never want to get in the way of each other.”

It's never easy to say goodbye. Larry King, Christopher Plummer and Cecily Tyson are among the celebrities who died in 2021, leaving those in their wake heartbroken.

Dustin Diamond died on February 1 at age 44 after a battle with stage IV small cell carcinoma. "He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago. In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution," his rep told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. "Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful."

The actor's Saved by the Bell costars paid tribute to him after news of his death. "I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dustin Diamond, a true comedic genius. My sincere condolences to his family and friends," Mark-Paul Gosselaar told Us in a statement. "Looking back at our time working together, I will miss those raw, brilliant sparks that only he was able to produce. A pie in your face, my comrade."

Mario Lopez, meanwhile, wrote via Instagram: "Dustin, you will be missed my man. The fragility of this life is something never to be taken for granted. Prayers for your family will continue on."

Tiffani Thiessen echoed Lopez's sentiments in an Instagram post of her own. "I am deeply saddened by the news of my old co-star @realdustindiamond passing," she captioned a photo of Diamond. "Life is extremely fragile and it's something we should never take for granted. God speed Dustin."

Later that month, fans lost an iconic figure in Christopher Plummer, who died at age 91. "Chris was an extraordinary man who deeply loved and respected his profession with great old fashion manners, self deprecating humor and the music of words," his longtime manager said in a statement to Us on February 5. "He was a National Treasure who deeply relished his Canadian roots. Through his art and humanity, he touched all of our hearts and his legendary life will endure for all generations to come. He will forever be with us."

The Oscar winner's Sound of Music costar Julie Andrews honored him after his death. "The world has lost a consummate actor today. And I have lost a cherished friend," the actress told Us in a statement. "I treasure the memories of our work together and all the humor and fun we shared through the years. My heart and condolences go out to his lovely wife Elaine, and his daughter Amanda."

Nick Viall Jokes About Getting Engaged to GF Natalie After Ben’s Wedding

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 11:57 AM PST

After two seasons of The Bachelorette and his own season of The Bachelor, Nick Viall has found love with Natalie Joy.

The “Viall Files” host and surgical technologist were first linked by fans in 2019, but speculation about their relationship didn’t start heating up until 2020. In February 2021, shortly after the pair first went public as a couple, Viall admitted that they met after Joy slid into his Instagram DMs.

“It was very romantic,” he joked during an episode of his podcast. "We kind of kept hanging out, and she finally got to a point where she was like, 'I want to date,' and I was kind of like, 'I don't know.' … She just was like, 'OK, this is what I want. It's fine, no big deal, but I'm gonna go do my thing,' and she did, and I was like, 'What?!' … She went and showed me exactly what I'd be missing."

The former reality star has a history of sliding into DMs himself, revealing last year that he once messaged Olivia Munn. "I wasn't expecting her to reply,” he recalled during an April 2020 episode of Hannah Berner’s podcast. “It was New Year's Day and I simply just said, 'I'm aiming high this year.'"

He also went on a few dates with January Jones after she had publicly dissed him via social media. "Then Nick slid into my DMs, and he's like, 'I'm so sorry that your perception of me is so negative. I'd love to take you out to coffee and see if I can change your mind,'” she told Dax Shepard in January 2020. “And I squealed! I was like, 'Oh, my God.' … I was like, 'I hate that guy!'"

The Mad Men actress said the pair went on a “couple” of dates before things faded out, perhaps because she spent most of their time together asking him questions about The Bachelor. "All I did was grill him about the show," she said. "But I got a lot of juicy insights.”

Viall’s DM success rate seems to have increased with Joy, who first made their relationship Instagram official in January 2021.

"Their relationship is very real,” a source told Us Weekly in February 2021. “They've been dating since the beginning of COVID but have just started going public. They're pretty much inseparable. You can say she practically lives with him because she's at his house that much."

9-Year-Old Dies After Attending Astroworld, Bringing Total Casualties to 10

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 11:55 AM PST

Travis Scott's 2021 Astroworld Festival left nine attendees dead and more injured after a crowd rushed the stage.

While the 29-year-old "Sicko Mode" rapper performed in Houston, Texas, on Friday, November 5, the crowd surged forward and caused a mass accident.

"This is a tragic night," Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña said during a news conference early on Saturday, November 6. "We know that we had at least at least 8 confirmed fatalities tonight and we had scores of individuals that were injured here in this event."

Peña noted that nearly 50,000 individuals attended the music festival, explaining that around 9:00 p.m. the crowd had "began to compress toward the front of the stage," which caused panic and injuries.

"At the start of the mass casualty incident, when it was triggered … We transferred 17 patients to the hospital," Peña added at the time. "We won't know the cause of death of the eight that were confirmed until the medical examiner has completed his investigation, but we are in the process — Houston Police Department — is sending units to the hospitals to identify these patients."

The incident took place at the sold-out outdoor festival, which was held at NRG Park.

The crowd surge “was from panic because people were running for safety,” a source close to the investigation tells Us Weekly. “The quick response from Astroworld security and staff on site undoubtedly saved even more people from being hurt or worse."

During the show, Scott paused his performance "three times" to ask what had happened, according to one source.

"He asked for everybody in the area to go help them and bring them to the front," an insider told Us. "As soon as they were made aware of what was happening, they ended the performance in the interest of public safety.”

The event's official social media page shared a statement of support early on Saturday, writing, "Our hearts are with the Astroworld Festival family tonight — especially those we lost and their loved ones. We are focused on supporting local officials however we can."

In the statement, it was confirmed that the festival's Saturday lineup had been canceled.

"As authorities mentioned in their press conference earlier, they are looking into the series of cardiac arrests that took place," the social media statement read. "Thank you to our partners at the Houston Police Department, Fire Department and NRG Park for their response and support."

Scott's partner, Kylie Jenner, shared footage from the concert hours earlier via Instagram Story, having attended alongside sister Kendall Jenner. The 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder posted snaps of a trailer with 3-year-old daughter Stormi's name on it alongside concert videos during the rapper's set. In Jenner's Instagram videos, the packed crowd was seen jumping during her beau’s performance, which was complete with pyrotechnics on stage.

The musician's annual festival completed a week's worth of "Astroweek" programming, which he described via Instagram in October as "a wild week."

"But injecting the city with inspirational features and activities for charity is a must," Scott wrote at the time. "Join us thru out the week for a bunch of 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 reveals and product. Bringing the ones I build with to the city and I thank them for stepping into this vision and going hammmmmm."

What Happened?
The sold-out crowd in Houston, Texas, rushed the stage during Scott’s set at 9:30 p.m., which caused mass panic and hysteria and led to numerous accidents and injuries. Amy Harris/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Were There Any Casualties?
The Houston police initially confirmed that eight concert attendees had died and even more were injured. During a press conference on November 11, attorney James Lassiter announced the death of a 22-year-old college student who was in the crowd, bringing the total number of casualties to nine. On November 14, 9-year-old Ezra Blount died of injuries sustained during the festival, bringing the number of deaths to 10. Blount, who also became the youngest person to die from injuries at Astroworld, was placed in a medically induced coma after he was trampled on November 5. "The Blount family tonight is grieving the incomprehensible loss of their precious young son," the family's attorney, Benjamin Crump, said in a statement. "This should not have been the outcome of taking their son to a concert, what should have been a joyful celebration." Amy Harris/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
What Did the Police Conclude?
The local police force’s investigation is still ongoing as Peña noted during the media conference that they planned to look into "what caused the issue of the crowd surge and what prevented people from being able to escape that situation.” HANDOUT/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock
Will Astroworld Continue?

How Are Kylie and Kendall Jenner Doing?

How Has Travis Scott Responded?
“I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night,” the rapper tweeted a statement on Saturday. “My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival. Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life.” He continued in his post, “I am committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need. Thank you to Houston PD, Fire Department and NRG Park for their immediate response and support. Love You All.” Amy Harris/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
How Did Houston's Security Respond?
“We had more security over there than we had at the World Series games,” Houston mayor Sylvester Turner explained to The New York Times. “The Houston Police Department provided hundreds of officers, in addition to what I’m told were 240 or 250 non-police security that were there.” Amy Harris/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Why Did the Crowd Surge?
Several people were trampled, and investigators are still looking for answers regarding why the surge happened. “I’m sending investigators to the hospitals because we just don’t know,” Finner said, according to the New York Times. “We’re going to do an investigation and find out, because it’s not fair to producers, to anybody else involved, until we determine what happened, what caused the surge.” Amy Harris/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Were Drugs Involved?
Chief of Police Troy Finner addressed reports that people were being drugged without their consent at a press conference on Saturday. "One of the narratives was some individual was injecting other people with drugs. We do have a report of a security officer, according the medical staff that was out and treated him last night, that he was out and reaching over to restrain or grab a citizen, and he felt a prick in his neck," Finner said via CBS.  The police chief said this was unfounded in a press conference on Wednesday, November 10. The guard was hit in the head. He noted that other individuals were trampled and families were still being notified. Taking Legal Action
Injured concertgoer Manuel Souza filed a petition against the rapper in Harris County District Court on Saturday, November 6, Us Weekly confirms. Souza called the tragedy "predictable and preventable" in the court docs and is seeking at least $1,000,000 in damages. The lawsuit also names organizer ScoreMore, entertainment company Live Nation, Scott's Cactus Jack Records and several other organizations. Shutterstock
Helping Hand
Scott announced on Monday, November 8, that he will cover all funeral costs for the victims and further aid for those affected. He has also partnered with renowned mental health service provider BetterHealth to provide one-on-one therapy and is working with NAMI, MHA National and MHA of Greater Houston (Mental Health America). Halle Berry and Van Hunt's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 11:52 AM PST

Finding The One! Halle Berry found something special with Van Hunt and has enjoyed showing off her relationship to her fans.

Berry was previously married three times: to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, to Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005 and to Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016. She shares son Maceo (born in 2013) with Martinez and daughter Nahla (born in 2008) with ex Gabriel Aubry.

In August 2020, Hunt posted a cute photo of the couple for the very first time with the caption, “kisses land softly.” The following month, Berry confirmed that she was dating Hunt on Instagram after previously teasing that she had a new man in her life.

Two months later, a source told Us Weekly that the pair were getting serious and that Hunt was “a wonderful, caring man” to the actress. The insider also explained that although “they’ve only been dating a few months,” the Kingsman: The Golden Circle alum already considered the singer The One.

Berry wasn’t afraid to defend her relationship and her dating life when a social media user said she "can't keep a man” in response to a new photo of the duo.

She responded via Instagram in February writing, "Who said I wanted to keep them? I'm all about living your best life, if you make a wrong move, course correct and re-spin and start again!"

Berry and Hunt showed off their love when they made their red carpet debut at the 2021 Academy Awards. Following their public outing, another source detailed how the "Dust" singer "really brings out the fun side of Halle.”

"Van is head over heels for Halle," the insider said in April 2021. "It's adorable to see how much his is infatuated with her."

That same month, the Call star posted a photo of her and her man cuddling on the beach.

“The moments that matter most…” Berry captioned the sweet post via Instagram at the time.

Four months later, the Ohio native gushed about the performer during a social media post highlighting her birthday.

“After the year we’ve all had, my heart is full as I’m grateful to see this August 14th,” she captioned the post via Instagram. “In the midst of the storm, I’ve managed to create happiness, find more peace, and feel more free than ever! Finally, I’m exhaling!”

The post included a clip of Berry putting her head out the car window while the wind hit her face. She also teased that her boyfriend celebrated her on her special day with a unique surprise.

“Thank you vanO for my b-day serenade 🎵,” she concluded her birthday post in August 2021.

Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi’s Divorce, Legal Woes: Everything We Know

Posted: 15 Nov 2021 10:38 AM PST

Pat the … divorce papers. After Erika Jayne went to court to end her marriage to Tom Girardi, Bravo fans were shocked to learn that what seemed like one of the strongest couples in Real Housewives history was not so picture-perfect after all.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced in November 2020 that she and the powerhouse attorney had called it quits after 21 years of marriage. A source later told Us Weekly exclusively, "Erika and Tom had an unconventional marriage, spending a lot of time apart."

Erika, who shares adult son Tommy with ex-husband Thomas Zizzo, met Tom in the late 1990s while waitressing at one of his favorite West Hollywood hot spots, Chasen's. One year later, she decided to give him her phone number, and he subsequently reached out to her through his secretary.

"I told her, 'Tell Mr. Girardi if he wants to take me out on a date, he needs to call me himself and ask me and give me enough time to prepare,'" the Bravo personality recalled in her 2018 memoir, Pretty Mess. "You know how men are, especially if they are successful. They expect you to drop everything right away. That's not how I work, I don't care who you are."

Six months into their relationship, Erika and the lawyer got engaged. They married in January 1999.

"For the first 10 years of our marriage, I was by Tom's side," the "XXPEN$IVE" singer said in a February 2017 episode of RHOBH. "I was even the first lady of a couple legal organizations. Imagine that!"

Due to Tom's high-power job, he has only made a few appearances on the reality series since Erika joined the cast in 2015. It is likely that their divorce will play out during season 11, which began filming in early October 2020.

"People are always like, 'Oh, you guys don't see each other a lot.' But when we do see each other, it's 100 percent, full-on attention," the former Chicago star said in the February 2017 episode. "This is what people don't understand. It's not a detriment to the relationship. It's actually helpful. It's better than someone being in your face all the time and you're not even present."

This is an ongoing article that was originally published in November 2020 and last updated on Wednesday, November 3.

Erika Broke It Off
The Atlanta native confirmed in a statement to Us in November 2020 that she “decided to end” her marriage to Tom “after much consideration.” She added, “This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together. It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserve. I request others give us that privacy as well.” Gregory Pace/Shutterstock; Matt Baron/Shutterstock
They Were on Different Paths
A source exclusively told Us in November 2020 that it was not uncommon for the now-estranged couple to go “several months” without seeing each other. “They would travel separately. Tom gave Erika a very lavish lifestyle, and she enjoyed it,” the insider said. “Erika has gained independence and confidence from being on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The exposure it has given for her singing career has given Erika a much larger fan base.” Bravo
They Don't Have a Prenup
Erika told Andy Cohen in June 2017 that she and Tom never signed a prenuptial agreement. “I’m married to a very powerful lawyer. A prenup wouldn’t stand in his way anyway,” she said at the time. “So it doesn’t matter whether you had one or you didn’t, it’s gonna be all Tom’s way, I assure you.” Bravo
The Fraud Lawsuit
Erika and Tom were hit with a lawsuit in December 2020 that accused them of embezzling settlement funds intended to help the families of Lion Air Flight 610 victims. In federal court documents obtained by Us, the class action firm Edelson PC claimed that the estranged couple’s divorce is “a sham attempt to fraudulently protect Tom and Erika’s money” and that they “are on the verge of financial collapse and locked in a downward spiral of mounting debts and dwindling funds.” Erika and Tom did not immediately comment on the allegations. Erika's Testimony
According to the Los Angeles Times, Erika was called to testify in the fraud case in May 2020 and September 2020 — before she filed for divorce that November. She was out of town on both occasions and her hearing was rescheduled for January 2021, but she's yet to testify.  Jen Lowery/MEGA
Erika Wants Spousal Support
Erika requested spousal support from Tom in November 2020, according to court documents obtained by Us, in which she citied “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. She also asked Tom to pay her attorney’s fees and demanded that the court block her estranged husband from seeking spousal support from her. Tom Does Not Want to Pay Spousal Support
In November 25, 2020, court documents obtained by Us, Tom requested to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to Erika. He also asked her to pay his legal fees. Shutterstock (2)
The Truth About Tom's Finances
Tom told the court in September 2020 that he has “maybe a couple thousand” dollars in a personal bank account, adding that his stock portfolio of millions was “all gone.”  He said: “At one point I had about $80 million or $50 million in cash. That’s all gone. I don’t have any money.” He added that he hasn’t “taken a penny in salary out of the firm for more than two years.”   Shutterstock; Bravo
Frozen Assets
In December 2020, a judge in Chicago seized Tom's assets after allegations that the estranged couple withheld $2 million in client funds following the 2018 Lion Air Flight 610 crash. Tom did not attend the contempt hearing at the time, but instead called into the proceedings.  Bravo
Tom's 'Illness'
According to court documents obtained by Us, Tom was secretly hospitalized for a “serious illness” in 2020. An attorney at his firm brought up the illness during a December court date, telling the judge that Tom was “unavailable in recent weeks due to a serious illness that caused him to be hospitalized for which he sought treatment.” The paperwork stated Tom “couched everything” related to the fraud case in July 2020 because he was forced to be away from his firm amid his hospitalization. He also cited his illness as the cause of the “mistake” of not getting some of the families paid in full. The Los Angeles Times also reported that one of Tom’s attorneys believed he should be subject to a mental examination. "I'm unsure that he understands either the nature or the gravity of the current situation," the lawyer told the judge, noting the team is concerned about his mental competency. In January 2021, his brother Robert Girardi claimed Tom was suffering from short-term memory loss and requested he become his conservator as Tom is “not capable of making rational decisions” when it comes to his finances.  Edelson suggested that there is more to the story with Tom’s sickness. “I’m not a doctor, I don’t know. But what I can tell you is that it seemed very convenient,” Edelson told Kate Casey in June 2021. “When we put out the facts that we found through our investigation of the types of things he was trying to do, during the time he had Alzheimer’s, where he was really scheming, he was scheming to protect himself from the fraud. He was scheming to try to keep as many possessions as possible, he was scheming to try to sell cases that he had in the pipeline to other firms.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Wells Fargo Suit
The bank is also suing Tom and his Girardi Keese firm, alleging he didn’t make monthly payments for rent, taxes, fees and more on their office. According to the paperwork obtained by Us, the group owes Wells Fargo $882,000. Wells Fargo is also seeking interest at 10 percent per annum from the date of default and wants to seize  Girardi Keese’s Los Angeles and San Bernardino, California, properties.    Shutterstock (2)
Cheating Allegations
Sources told Us in December that Erika believes Tom cheated on her during their 21-year marriage. “Erika is really going through it. She’s very strong, but this has been very hard for her emotionally,” an insider told Us. A second source claimed that rumors that Erika and Tom “had an agreement in terms of being with other people” weren’t true. Tom has yet to comment on the infidelity accusations.   Matt Baron/Shutterstock; YouTube
What Erika Knew
A source told Us that Erika never thought Tom “could be capable of doing what he has been accused of in court.” “Erika was completely unaware of the very serious allegations that were being made against Tom in court,” the source told Us, referring to the fraud accusations. “Tom always handled all of the finances and that was how they handled things. Erika feels betrayed by Tom because she completely trusted him. She is just reeling from all of this, but make no mistake. Erika is a tough cookie and she isn’t stupid. She will get through this.” According to a second source, Erika is still in "disbelief" about the alleged cheating and legal drama: “The legal issues are unfolding one after another and she’s learning as everyone’s filing. As the whole world is finding out about it, she’s finding out about it. She’s reading about it in the press before she even sees it [from her lawyers].” While she has seemingly maintained her innocence in all RHOBH footage, Jay Edelson, the lawyer who filed the class action lawsuit against the pair, claimed she was aware of the scheme. “We believe we’re going to be able to prove that Erika was incredibly involved in not just the law firm, but also, he was loaning money to her company 10s of millions of dollars to her company,” Edelson said on the “Reality Life with Kate Casey” podcast in June 2021. “And we think that money came from client funds. And we’re going to look into all of that. And that’s all going to be, you know, part of proof that we showed to a jury — that she was knee-deep in this fraud, and she can say, ‘Oh, she didn’t know anything about it.’ And I think that’s going be hard for to convince a jury of.” Shutterstock
Cheating Proof?
"This is Justice Tricia A. Bigelow. She was f--king my husband Tom Girardi and he was paying her Saks bill and paying for her plastic surgery," Erika captioned an Instagram post on December 18, sharing screenshots of texts. Shutterstock
Justice Bigelow's Response
The judge’s lawyer released a statement to the L.A. Times, saying, Erika’s “actions in maliciously doxxing the Justice were nothing short of criminal.” The attorney added: “We are considering our options to protect Justice Bigelow from further harassment.” Bravo
Erika's New Digs
According to court documents obtained by Us in January 2021, Erika moved out of her $15 million mansion with Tom and into a three-bedroom house in Los Angeles. The new home is estimated to be worth $2,408,937 or $9,500 a month in rent, per Zillow. Sara De Boer/startraksphoto.com
Back to Court
Tom appeared virtually in court on June 9, 2021, and told the judge he “disagree[d]” with the conservatorship. “I think that we should put together the reasons why the conservatorship should be dissolved, and then we’ll address it, address the court,” he said. “Right now, I have nothing to say to the court.” The judge subsequently ruled that Robert should still be named Tom’s conservator. Erika's Lawyer Files Petition
Us confirmed on June 15, 2021, that Erika’s bankruptcy attorney filed a petition to withdraw his representation of the RHOBH star. Peter Mastan made the move one day after The Housewife and the Hustler started streaming. Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock
The Documentary
Hulu’s The Housewife and the Hustler, which started streaming on June 14, 2021, aired the “never-before-aired deposition tape of Girardi” and featured RHOBH alum Dana Wilkey, Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Danielle Staub and L.A. legal professionals Chris Darden, Brian Kabateck and Neil Wertlieb. In the doc, several of Tom’s alleged victims told their stories, including Joe Ruigomez, who said the former attorney “basically robbed” him from his settlement money after he was severely burned and scarred in 2010’s San Bruno gas pipeline explosion. The Ruigomez family and Josie Hernandez, who hasn’t received a $135,000 settlement owed to her by Girardi Keese, played voicemails from Tom promising to get their money to them as soon as he could. ABC News
Breaking Her Silence
Erika briefly addressed the divorce for the first time on the June 16, 2021, episode of RHOBH. "There's so many layers to this divorce. It's so f—king complicated. It's very difficult to explain,” she told the cameras.  During a promo for the July 14, 2021, episode Erika spoke about the class action lawsuit for the first time. “What’s being said is just, I mean, it’s insane,” she said. “That lawsuit that says my divorce is a sham so I could hide assets — people want to believe that. … I could have never predicted this f—king s—t.”   Shutterstock (2)
Why She Left
She went even more into detail about the separation during the June 23, 2021, episode, telling the cast, "I let go of my Lamborghini. I let go of my 16,000 square foot home. I let go of my marriage. I let go of everything. I literally made a decision that I had to." She also told the cameras that she "left because he pushed me further and further out" and she knew the "marriage was headed down a really sh--ty path." Shutterstock (2)
He Had No Idea
Erika told the women during the June 23, 2021, episode that she "didn't leave a note" and just disappeared, leaving him to get served. “I drove him to work, I told him I loved him and he said, ‘Thanks, hun.’ Like I was an employee," she explained of the last time she'd seen Tom. "I went home and started putting everything in the moving van. I drove off, went to my new place, spent the night there and he was served the next morning.” Kcr/Shutterstock
A Legal Change?
Erika's legal team requested that the judge in her case reconsider appointing Ronald Richards as the bankruptcy trustee lawyer after he made comments about her on social media. Court documents from June 2021 claimed that the attorney "has made false and inflammatory social media posts and public statements" about the RHOBH star. Her lawyers also questioned whether Richards' posts "violate the ethical rules to which he is bound." Richards, for his part, said in a statement to Us that he was "hopeful that Erika’s new attorneys will cooperate with our investigation and we can move forward in a positive direction and complete our work." He added: "The court made no restrictions or gag orders in this case. If those rules change, our speech will change. The case is interesting for the public and I have enjoyed communicating with people all over the world about numerous legal issues. I look forward to working positively with her new attorney." As Richards and Erika continued to fight via social media, she told him he was “finally” on the right track after “a year of looking in the wrong direction” in October 2021 when he posted, “What does [every] attorney who worked at Girardi Keese as either an Associate, quasi Partner, or Manager have in common? Answer: Not one of them has taken responsibility for the clients they were obligated to protect and serve or gifted back any of their bonuses or salaries.” Xavier Collin/Image Press Agency/MEGA
New Representation
After Erika's original lawyers filed a petition to be removed from her case — then filed a second motion to stay on the case — the RHOBH star hired a new attorney to represent her. Us confirmed that she filed paperwork in July 2021 notifying the judge that her new lawyer is Evan C. Borges. Mastan, meanwhile, is no longer on the case. Media Punch/INSTARimages.com
The Collections Lawsuit
According to court documents obtained by Us, Erika may have to repay settlement funds intended for Tom’s former clients. A judge ruled on July 6, 2021, that Joe Ruigomez, Jaime Ruigomez and Kathy Ruigomez can move forward with a collections lawsuit against Erika to obtain the $11 million they are owed from Tom. “The Ruigomez Family, the Girardi Trustee and the GK Trustee shall cooperate with each other with their collection efforts against Erika,” the paperwork read. Broadimage/Shutterstock
Making It Official
Tom’s brother, Robert Girardi, became the effective person of the former attorney’s person and estate in July 2021. Court documents listed the reason for the conservatorship as Tom’s dementia diagnosis, classifying the condition as a “major neurocognitive disorder." Shutterstock (2)
Selling Their Property
After the former couple listed their massive mansion in Pasadena for a sale price of $13 million in May 2021, they’ve since dropped the price on the historic estate to $9.9 million in July 2021 amid their ongoing divorce and court proceedings.  Us confirmed in October 2021 that Tom and Erika’s La Quinta property sold for $1.25 million. The profits will be used “to pay any unpaid property taxes, valid liens, homeowner’s association fees, real estate brokers’ commissions (5 percent) and related sale costs directly from escrow on the Property,” per court docs. Shawn Bishop
The $25 Million
In August 2021, the trustee overseeing the bankruptcy case for Girardi Keese sued Erika for $25 million. According to court documents obtained by Us, the trustee accused the reality star of knowing that the firm paid her expenses for at least 12 years. The trustee requested that the court order here to pay back the $25 million she allegedly spent plus interest. The suit also argued that she should be personally held responsible for the funds even though the money allegedly went to her company, EJ Global LLC. “She attempts to create a distinction between handling her money directly versus paying all of her bills directly,” the documents read. “The distinction, like her prior motion for reconsideration, is meritless. Any payments made for her benefit are her responsibility.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Payback
In September 2021, investigator Richards told Us that if Erika "voluntarily" paid back the $25 million within 10 days, the lawsuit would not proceed. “If she was interested in helping the victims, she would simply pay back some of the expenses that were improperly advanced by the law firm and improperly deducted by Erika on her LLC and personal returns," Richards said in a statement. "This would add 10 percent to her voluntarily compliance payment. It is not about the fees, it is about the victims.” The following month, Erika’s lawyer denied Richards' claims that his client is “liable” for the $25 million. “I can’t say enough that based on the evidence and law, Erika does not have liability for any of the claims against her,” he said in a statement. “All the claims against Erika amount to efforts to blame her for the actions of others, including Girardi Keese and Tom Girardi.” Jaxon/MEGA
When Is Erika's Next Court Hearing?
According to Richards, Erika’s case has a status conference on November 16, 2021. While she won’t appear personally, her attorney is expected to. Broadimage/Shutterstock
The 'RHOBH' Footage
Lawyer Jay Edelson claimed in October 2021 that season 11 provided “a lot of evidence” for the case against Erika and Tom. Richards said in a statement to Us at the time: “All public statements Erika makes are admissible in court. Some will hold weight if she tries to change them later or does something different than what she answers [at the RHOBH reunion].” Bravo has also been subpoenaed to hand over unaired footage of Erika. Nicole Weingart/Bravo
Erika's Opposition
Us confirmed on October 20, 2021, that Erika’s lawyer filed a new document in the bankruptcy case one day prior. “Ms. Girardi is an entertainer, never served as a lawyer at GK, and had no role in the management of the firm,” the docs read, claiming Erika “was a complete stranger to and has no knowledge of whatever transpired at GK related to the Lion Air litigation filed in November 2018, or the settlement funds that apparently were received by GK after the District Court in Illinois approved certain settlements in that litigation in the first half of 2020.” The documents also state that Erika’s “only assets are her personal possessions and income she receives from her work as an entertainer, including from the Real Housewives television program,” after she left Tom on November 3, 2020. “Ms. Girardi has no access or visibility into the bank accounts of GK, including client trust accounts, into which Edelson alleges the settlement funds in the Lion Air case were paid. If anyone has access to these accounts, it is the GK Trustee,” the paperwork read. “The GK Trustee has never contended that Ms. Girardi directly or indirectly received any of the Lion Air settlement funds; and the Trustee is the party in the best position to make that contention if it has any merit.” Gregory Pace/Shutterstock
Illegal Fees?
In a November 2021 court filing, Erika's lawyer asserted that his client "never had and does not have any of the fee agreements between [the Girardi Keese firm] and the Lion Air clients." He went on to claim that Edelson's case "is based on an unethical, unenforceable and illegal fee sharing agreement between Edelson and Girardi Keese, which will require that the Illinois litigation be dismissed" if copies of the documents can't be provided to the court. MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Will Erika Ever Remarry?
When asked in November 2021 whether she would ever tie the knot again, the Bravo star was quick to respond. “No, I will not. Never,” she told TMZ, adding that she would “probably not” date another lawyer. “But then again,” she noted. “I may need free legal [advice]. Who knows?” Mediapunch/Shutterstock
