CJ Perry In Bathing Suit Makes Big Announcement

If former WWE Wrestler C.J. Perry, a.k.a. Lana, looks familiar to you even though you're not a wrestling fan, you've probably seen her in one of your favorite movies. The 36-year-old actress has appeared in many films like Pitch Perfect alongside reputable actors like Bruce Willis. She announced to her 3.8 million Instagram followers that she'd appear in an upcoming Paramount+ film WifeLike as a character named Holly.

A Sizzling Teaser

Lana knows how to work a teaser because the mini fashion show in her less than one-minute reel was breathtaking. She alternated between a sexy swimsuit to a mini leather coverall and black lace lingerie. Lana's orange one-piece was a high-rise lace-up back number that hugged her curves. She wore chandelier jewelry consisting of a silver necklace and dropping earrings. In one of the slides, she added a velvet coverall with a floral motif as she swayed her curly black hair left and right.

What We Know About 'WifeLike'

She wrote,

"Guess who the character “Holly” Is from the movie “WifeLike”?!? Coming this year to theaters & @paramountplus @paramountpics #paramountplus #paramount."

James Bird of From Water Above and Honeyglue would direct the upcoming Paramount+ film listed under the SciFi genre. Lana isn't the only big name starring in this SciFi movie as other co-stars like Elena Kampouris (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Doron Bell(Mighty Mighty Monsters), Agam Darshi(You Me Her), and more.

Acting Career

She told Digital Spy,

"I think the biggest misconception about WWE is, people don't realize that we are actors and we are storytellers. Yes, it's a professional sport but we are characters out there and that's what I actually love about my job in WWE."

When she first joined WWE, Lana was her now husband's manager with a thick Russian accent. Now, her character's evolution has taken her to a good guy who's overcoming bullies. She uses her acting talent in the wrestling ring and on the big screen. Now that her contract with WWE is expired, she's making her return to cinema and streaming services.

Mike Lindell Says Brad Raffensperger 'Needs To Be Put In Prison'

After losing the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden, Donald Trump refused to concede and alleged that the Democrat won due to widespread fraud and irregularities.

Trump and his allies -- including MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell -- pointed to the state of Georgia as an example of this alleged fraud, putting pressure on its Republican Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to overturn the results.

Lindell now claims to have irrefutable evidence the race in Georgia was rigged and believes Raffensperger should be imprisoned.

Affidavits

On Friday, Lindell delivered thousands of affidavits to Georgia's Capitol, urging the authorities in that state to conduct a forensic audit of the 2020 election.

That same day, Lindell went on Steve Bannon's War Room podcast, where he claimed that these affidavits prove Trump actually won Georgia.

"We've got all the patriots here. They're going to unload. There's over 40,000 -- it's almost 50,000 of these affidavits and things that we have here that we're going to get into this Capitol," he said, as reported by Newsweek.

'Biggest Crime In History'

Lindell said that he expects Georgia's Republican leaders to meet with Raffensperger because they have all conspired to cover up what is "the biggest crime in history."

"I think they're meeting with Brad Raffensperger to figure out how to keep covering up the biggest crime in history. You know, in Georgia here, Brad Raffensperger is probably, you know me, melt down the machines and put him behind bars," the pillow magnate said.

He added that the corruption in Georgia is "the highest in the country," and stressed that Raffensperger needs to be imprisoned.

"He needs to be put in prison, it needs to be ended -- put in prison," he said.

Raffensperger Hits Back

Raffensperger's spokesperson responded to Lindell, saying that his conspiracy theories harm "public confidence in elections."

"This isn't just a problem in Georgia but nationwide. He knows he's lying -- but he's fallen so deep into the grift that he may actually believe his own lies," the spokesperson said.

"Flooding our offices with bizarre chain letters will not change the outcome of 2020 -- but it will change the outcome for Republicans by staying home in 2022 due to these off-base antics," they added.

Georgia Investigation

In January, Atlanta District Attorney Fani T. Willis asked a judge to convene a special grand jury to investigate Trump's attempts to overturn the Georgia 2020 election.

As reported by The New York Times, Trump could potentially face charges of racketeering or conspiracy to commit election fraud.

Raffensperger has refused to cooperate without a subpoena.

Trump, meanwhile, endorsed Raffensperger's Republican primary opponent Jody Hice and David Perdue’s challenge to Kemp.

Maintaining Her Abs

Over the years, Liukin has talked openly about her workout routine, telling The Cut that it's "really important" for her to get a sweat going "as soon as I wake up because if I don’t do it then I feel like I’m not going to have a chance to do it."

The 2008 Olympic all-around champion typically works out up to five times a week, relying on barre classes, hot yoga, spinning classes, and boxing to maintain her gymnast figure.

"I always feel better when I get in a workout," she says, "even if it's 30 minutes or 20 minutes of something, every single day."

According to Today, one of the circuits she does every day involves a plank followed by a side plank and a Russian twist, which she recommends repeating three times for an effective ab workout.

Her typical fitness routine also involves lots of running -- her "most effective" way to "get in shape quickly," despite not being her favorite one. As for weight training, she sticks to "very light weights" of no more than "five to ten pounds."

Republicans Blame Joe Biden For Russia-Ukraine Crisis

As Russia is preparing to invade Ukraine, world leaders are bracing for impact and imposing unprecedented sanctions on Vladimir Putin's regime.

In the United States, both Republicans and Democrats have welcomed and backed President Joe Biden's tougher stance on the Kremlin.

Still, some Republicans believe Biden is actually to blame for what is happening in Ukraine.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that Putin decided to invade Ukraine after Biden withdrew American troops from Afghanistan.

McConnell told reporters that Putin would not have deployed his troops to the border "had we not precipitously withdrawn from Afghanistan," as reported by The Hill.

Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, meanwhile, called for more expansive sanctions.

"I want a sanctions regime from hell," he said.

Blaming Biden

The most vicious attack on Biden came from Republican House leaders Kevin McCarthy of California, Steve Scalise of Louisiana, and Elise Stefanik of New York.

"Sadly, President Biden consistently chose appeasement and his tough talk on Russia was never followed by strong action," they said in a joint statement.

"Lethal aid was slow-walked, anti-air and anti-ship capabilities were never directly provided, pre-invasion sanctions proportionate to the aggression Putin had already committed were never imposed, and sanctions on Nord Stream 2 were waived."Domestic Front

Other GOP lawmakers discussed the Russia-Ukraine crisis in the context of domestic policy, with Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington saying that Biden has made the U.S. weak with his economic policies.

"For America to be a diplomatic power, we must be a military power. To be a military power, America has to be an economic power. It’s all connected, and President Joe Biden is undermining it all with his radical agenda to shut down American energy and embolden our enemies like Russia," Rodgers said.

Still, some Republicans, like Senate candidate J.D. Vance, said that Americans should not care about what is going in on Ukraine.

Trump Slammed Biden

Trump also attacked Biden, saying in a statement that Putin would not have dared invade Ukraine during the Trump administration.

"I know Vladimir Putin very well, and he would have never done during the Trump Administration what he is doing now, no way!" the former president said, describing Biden's sanctions as "weak."

Then, during an appearance on The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, Trump described Putin as a "very savvy" politician and his moves as "genius."

As reported by The Guardian, liberals condemned the former president for praising the Russian dictator.

Republican Reps. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois and Liz Cheney of Wyoming joined in on the criticism.

NBA Rumors: LA Lakers Could Explore Trading Anthony Davis For Bradley Beal

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently one of the most disappointing teams in the 2021-22 NBA season. Despite having the "Big Three" of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook, the Lakers are still struggling to consistently win games and failed to live up to expectations from a legitimate title contender. Before the 2022 NBA All-Star break, they have lost seven of their last 10 games, sitting in the No. 9 spot in the Western Conference with a 27-31 record.

Lakers Could Use Anthony Davis As Main Trade Chip

As of now, most Lakers fans are more interested to know what the team is planning to do next summer than seeing the outcome of the ongoing season. As long as they have James on their roster, the Lakers will continue to believe that they are a legitimate title contender in the Western Conference, making it highly likely for them to major roster moves in the 2022 NBA season. However, to improve their roster around James, the Lakers may have to use Davis as their main trade chip.

Swapping Anthony Davis For Bradley Beal

In a recent article, Albert Lee of SB Nation's Bullets Forever discussed a potential blockbuster deal that would send Davis to the Washington Wizards in exchange for All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal. The Wizards may have said on numerous occasions that they have no interest in trading Beal and undergoing a full-scale rebuild but with their inability to build a legitimate title contender around him, most people believe that it would only be a matter of time before the All-Star shooting guard follows in the footsteps of other superstars and finds his way out of Washington.

If Beal ends up demanding a trade, trading him for Davis would make a lot of sense for the Wizards, especially if they want to remain a competitive team in the Eastern Conference.

Bradley Beal's On-Court Impact On Lakers

Swapping Davis for Beal would be worth exploring for the Lakers, especially if they are no longer confident that the LBJ-AD tandem could produce another NBA championship title in Los Angeles. By sending Davis to Washington, the Lakers would be receiving an immediate replacement for him as James' new superstar running mate next season. Beal would give the Lakers a prolific scorer, a decent playmaker, and a legitimate threat from the three-point range.

This season, Beal is averaging 23.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.6 assists while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 30.0 percent from beyond the arc. What makes Beal a more intriguing fit with the Lakers is his ability to excel in an off-ball capacity, making him the ideal teammate for a ball-dominant superstar like James.

Why The Proposed Deal Won't Work?

While both Beal and Davis have a realistic chance of being traded, Lee cited several reasons why the proposed Lakers-Wizards blockbuster trade may not happen next summer.

"I would not be opposed to a Beal trade. But I also don’t think that a Beal for AD deal trade will work in a one-for-one swap, practically speaking," Lee said. "Washington may have to give up draft capital for such a deal to work. After that, the Wizards will need to beef up their already depleted guard rotation. So unless they make a move for another guard that fits longer term, I don’t see it working."

Despite winning the fight, Masvidal wasn't happy with how his match with Diaz ended and urged him to "run it back." Recently, Masvidal once again expressed his interest in fighting Diaz for the second time. Masvidal is currently scheduled to face Colby Covington at UFC 272. If he won't get an immediate title shot after beating Covington, Masvidal said that he wants to fight Diaz and threatened to break his "f*cking face."

The blonde beauty shared an intimate bathroom selfie, where she is sporting a tiny bikini that revealed a lot of skin. Along with the photo came a lengthy message of self-love, reminding her fans and followers about the true meaning of being beautiful.

A Message Of Self Love

"t’s so important to know that us Games athletes don’t always look “Games ready” all year round," Brooke started on the caption, explaining that certain pressures have affected her.

"It’s just a matter of volume increasing leading up to it & a result of hard work. It’s been a bit stressful these last few months, & I think it’s affected my body comp a bit— but that’s LIFE. I’m not worried about it," she continued.

In the photo posted back in 2020, Brooke can be seen wearing a tiny bikini while doing a mirror selfie inside a bathroom. Her killer abs were out on display but her muscles were not as pumped and swollen as they usually are during competition season. As Brooke explained in her post, she doesn't have to be "Games ready" throughout the whole year.

"It’s also very important to remember that everyone’s body’s are completely different. The way your body looks has nothing to do with who you are as a person. You are beautiful no matter your shape or size 💞," she finished.

New Approach In Competition

Currently, Brooke is gearing up for CrossFit Open, which starts next week. But, the athlete, who just recovered from a nasty elbow injury, has a new approach in mind.

She shared on a recent Instagram post that her strategy is to make sure her elbow won't get harmed early in the season, as it is important to make it to the later stages. So, while Brooke will be out and ready for the competition, she will be playing it safe (but still doing her best!) in the Open.

"my goal for the season this year is to have my body be the healthiest ever physically (no nagging injuries) & peak in the later stages of the season! which for me, means playing the Open safe. I want to test my fitness & push my boundaries mentally, while making sure my elbow is not in jeopardy. I’m so excited for a little competition for the first time post injury! no expectations, just doing MY best," Brooke wrote on Instagram.

Ukraine Was Not Hillary Clinton's Top Donor, Fact Check Shows

With Special Counsel John Durham's investigation intensifying, all eyes once again are on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Republicans have seized on this, with figures such as former President Donald Trump repeatedly attacking Clinton as corrupt.

Controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene joined in on the attacks, claiming that Ukraine was the top donor to Clinton's 2016 campaign.

But is that really true?

What Greene Said

Speaking at a rally in Texas last week, Greene suggested that Democrats are still talking about Trump's alleged ties to the Kremlin in order to cover up the fact that Clinton's 2016 campaign was backed by Ukraine.

"They would rather talk about Russia, Russia, Russia, and Ukraine, and talk about possible war, than talk about the real truth that Ukraine -- don’t forget this -- Ukraine was the No. 1 donor to Hillary Clinton when she was running for president," Greene said, as reported by PolitiFact.

Fact Check

Greene's remarks were false, according to PolitiFact's fact check.

For a start, it would have been illegal for Clinton to accept campaign donations from the Ukrainian government or Ukrainian nationals.

"Such contributions are illegal under federal law," stressed Rick Hasen, a professor of law and political science at the University of California, Irvine.

According to OpenSecrets, a non-partisan organization that tracks money in politics, all the top contributions to Clinton's 2016 campaign were made from the United States.

Origin Of False Claims

Greene's claim that Ukraine was Clinton's top donor during the 2016 election can be traced back to a 2015 article from The Wall Street Journal.

The article was about donations to the Clinton Foundation, the nonprofit organization founded by former Democratic President Bill Clinton.

Even those donations did not come from the Ukrainian government, but from individual contributors, with one of them being steel mogul Victor Pinchuk.

According to PolitiFact, this article from The Wall Street Journal has often been cited -- and misinterpreted -- by leading right-wing figures, including Trump.

Attacks On Clinton

CNN's Dean Obeidallah recently described Republicans' "fixation" on the former secretary of state as Hillary Clinton Derangement Syndrome or HDS.

Obeidallah argued in his column that conservative politicians and media figures have an "unhealthy obsession" with Clinton, even though she has retired from politics.

"Some don't seem to understand that they have a problem. Whether it's for ratings or social clout, it appears some of those infected with HDS not only want Clinton to live rent-free in their heads, but desperately need for her to be there," he wrote.

Getting Her Sweat On

Ever the conscientious and disciplined athlete, Brandon mixed business with pleasure, also uploading a video in which she was running track. Changing out of the beach item, she rocked green booty shorts and a matching sports bra, keeping the braids as she got her sweat on.

The three-times CrossFit Games athlete ended the four-part series with an adorable photo of her dog, Charlie, which showed the mini schnauzer chilling on the grass.

Brandon, who has been repping Xendurance Supplements on her feed, talked about dietary supplements in a follow-up share, detailing that she takes "creatine & a daily probiotic to help with my recovery and overall gut health."

Explaining in parentheses that "these help lower glucose, liver enzymes & inflammation in your gut," the Kennewick, Wash native also dished on her eating habits, saying that her main priority is "being sure to have WHOLE meals!"

"Which means always having a protein, carbohydrate and/or a fat! This is huge when it comes to our body being able to affectively [sic] break down our food and use it properly!" she wrote on Instagram. "Without a good balance our body won’t use proteins and carbohydrates the way we want it to!"
