The former Disney Channel star, 29, arrived at the Sunday, February 27, awards show wearing a custom black velvet Oscar de la Renta gown. She topped off the outfit with Bulgari jewels and Christian Louboutin heels.

While walking the carpet, however, Gomez stumbled and lost one of her shoes. After regaining her composure, the Hotel Transylvania star took off her other high heel and continued down the walkway barefoot.

The Only Murders in the Building actress was later spotted without any shoes while presenting the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor for a Supporting Role with her Hulu costar Martin Short.

"Selena going barefoot in front of some of the biggest celebrities is actually the most Selena Gomez thing she could do #SAGAwards," one Twitter user wrote.

The duo didn't let Gomez's wardrobe malfunction take away from their playful banter on stage.

"Who's excited?" the 71-year-old comedian asked before revealing who won the category. "I'm excited," Gomez replied, prompting Martin to joke about plastic surgery.

Date Night! Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Stun at the 2022 SAG Awards

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 06:31 PM PST

As sweet as a love song! Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have one of the strongest relationships in the music industry — and their bond just keeps getting better.

The country couple first met at a Nashville gig in late 1994, when they were each seeing other people. At the time, the "Just to See You Smile" singer was dating Kristine Donahue, and Hill had just finalized her divorce from Daniel Hill. Two years later, Faith joined McGraw on the Spontaneous Combustion tour and sparks began to fly.

After a whirlwind romance, the "Don't Take the Girl" crooner wed his country cutie in October 1996 in his Louisiana hometown. Nearly 20 years later, McGraw looked back on the romantic moment he proposed to his soulmate on tour.

"We were in the dressing room, here, June 26, 1996, and it was raining and stuff and we’d been on tour for a while together, and I joked around with her about getting married. And so I looked at her, grabbed her by the hand, and dropped forward [on my knees] onstage," he recalled in a nostalgic video in October 2015. "She said, ‘We’re at a country music festival in a trailer house, and you’re asking me to marry you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah.’ So I went onstage … When I came back offstage, [I saw] a Sharpie with lipstick kisses all over it, saying, ‘Yes! I’m gonna be your wife.’"

The couple brought their love all across the country — and later, around the world — on their Soul2Soul tour. Between gigs, awards shows and recording hits, the pair welcomed three daughters: Grace in 1997, Maggie in 1998 and Aubrey in 2001.

Even through their most difficult moments, McGraw and the "Mississippi Girl" songstress have stood strongly by each other's side. When Faith lost her father, Ted Perry, in February 2019, her husband shared a loving tribute on social media in his honor.

"He was the sweetest, kindest most gentle man I've ever known," McGraw wrote at the time. "No man in my life has ever made such an impact on me as to how to be a human, a father and a friend."

Scroll down to relive McGraw's everlasting love with the "Wild One" singer!

When tragedy struck Faith’s family, the "Highway Don’t Care" singer showed his wife his full support. "G Pa, Faith’s father passed away last week at 88 yrs old. "No man in my life has ever made such an impact on me as to how to be a human, a father and a friend … I’ll never, in 10 lifetimes, be able to live up to his example, but man, he has set a mark that all of us should strive for. McGraw reflected on getting sober in 2008 during an interview with Esquire. He pointed to a moment when he was “getting out of and going to the liquor cabinet and taking a big shot at 8:00 in the morning and thinking, ‘I have to wake the kids up’” as his last straw. "I went straight to my wife and said, 'This is where I'm at.' I was scared,” he recalled. “She just grabbed me and hugged me and changed my life.” The country crooner proceeded to gush over his wife and how her love his part of what has helped him remain strong all these years. "My wife always says, 'You're not scared of anything.' I say, 'Ehhh, one thing. I'm looking at it right now,'" McGraw told the magazine. "I didn't know love could feel so good. Was it an emotion? Was it a lifestyle? Was it an imaginary thing? But love is all of those things." He continued: "Love is being angry. Love is not talking for a day. Love is getting in each other's face. Love is accepting that I'm wrong. Love is a 360-degree thing. It's not linear. They always say you're not supposed to fight in front of your kids. Everybody fights in front of their kids. That's part of the deal." Invision/AP/Shutterstock

The “Highway Don’t Care” singer reflected on his proposal to Hill 25 years after they tied the knot. “25 years later and it's still the best day of my life. Thanks for going on this journey with me. Love you Faith ❤️,” McGraw captioned an Instagram video, explaining that it took him a “few times” to get his now-wife to accept his proposal."We had dated for a while. I actually asked her to marry me quite a few times and she kept saying no. She said, 'I'm not going to get involved with another country singer, it's just not going to work out,’” he remembered. McGraw decided to get down on one knee during a country music festival he was performing at, in hopes Hill would finally say yes. "They had these trailer houses set up. I'm getting ready to go onstage, and I had this sort of case that had this big mirror in it. She's standing there, and we're talking, and I said, 'Look, let's get married,'" he recalled. "And she says, 'You're asking me to marry you at a country music festival in a trailer house?' And I said, 'Well, it's pretty apropos if you think about it.' She goes, 'Are you serious?' And I said, 'Well, yeah, I'm serious.'" Before getting her answer, the country crooner had to head out on stage to do his set. When he returned, Hill wasn’t in the dressing room but he got his response. "I looked at the mirror. In lipstick it said, 'Yes! I'm gonna be your wife,'" McGraw said. "And we still have that mirror. And it was the best day of my life, that's for sure." Courtesy of Tim McGraw/Instagram

She's a strong woman, anyway,” McGraw told Entertainment Weekly days before the teaser was released. “[Creator] Taylor [Sheridan] said early on to me, 'Man, you'll just get on that horse. You're not scared of anything.' I said, 'I'm scared of one thing. She's right over there.'" 1883 premieres on Paramount+ December 19. Paramount+

Perfect Pair! See Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's PDA at 2022 SAG Awards

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are both natives of the land down under, but the couple met and fell in love on the other side of the world.

The Big Little Lies star and Urban first crossed paths at the G’Day USA Gala — an event honoring Australians in Los Angeles — in 2005. Kidman was immediately smitten with the country singer, but Urban took a little longer to come around.

“I remember thinking, I had such a crush on him, and he wasn’t interested in me,” Kidman told Ellen DeGeneres in 2017. “It’s true! He didn’t call me for four months.”

However, the “God Whispered Your Name” singer didn’t immediately contact the actress because he wasn’t in the right mindset for a relationship at the time.

“Somebody had given me her number and I had it in my pocket for a while. I kept looking at it thinking, ‘If I call this number, she’s going to answer. I don’t know what [to] say,'” Urban recalled on the Australian talk show Interview in 2018. “I wasn't in a very healthy place in my life.”

He added, “I’d never have thought she'd see anything in a guy like me. But, at some point, I plucked up the courage to call those numbers and she answered, and we started talking and we talked and talked and talked and talked and it was effortless.”

The couple later tied the knot in June 2006 in a romantic ceremony in Manly, Australia. Kidman and Urban’s wedded bliss was short-lived as the “Wasted Time” crooner entered rehab in October 2006 after the Bombshell star staged an intervention.

“I caused the implosion of my fresh marriage,” Urban told Rolling Stone in 2016. "It survived, but it's a miracle it did. I was spiritually awoken with her. I use the expression 'I was born into her,' and that's how I feel. And for the first time in my life, I could shake off the shackles of addiction."

Kidman gave birth to their first child, daughter Sunday Rose, in July 2008. Urban and the Moulin Rouge star welcomed their second daughter, Faith Margaret, via surrogate in December 2011. The Oscar winner is also the mother of daughter Isabella and son Conner, whom she adopted with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

The Lion star told Harper’s Bazaar in 2018 that her marriage has been successful because the couple always make time for each other.

“Obviously I work hard, but when I'm off, I'm off," she explained. "Keith and I are very good at immediately clicking off because we have a really good life in Nashville that's very simple, quiet and nourishing because we've made it like that."

Bachelor Party Pics! Patrick Mahomes Celebrates With Big Sean in Las Vegas

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 05:44 PM PST

Final fling before the ring! Patrick Mahomes went out with his boys in Las Vegas for a bachelor party before his wedding to Brittany Matthews.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 26, was joined by about a dozen of his buddies, including NFL teammates Travis Kelce and Orlando Brown Jr. on Saturday, February 26, at Drai's Nightclub, the rooftop venue at the Cromwell Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

Mahomes enjoyed a Big Sean concert from their VIP booth (called Drai’s “King’s Table”), but they got an even better view at the end of the show. The “Bounce Back” performer surprised the groom-to-be by bringing him, Brown, 25, and Kelce, 32, on stage during the finale.

While Mahomes was living it up during his bachelor party in Sin City, his fiancée, 26, was enjoying her own bachelorette celebration in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Brittany Lynne Fitness founder shared photos from the start of her long weekend via Instagram Story on Thursday, February 24. Her event was decorated with balloons celebrating the bride with the phrase "Britt's Bach Bash."

On Saturday, the former soccer player shared more looks at her last sail before the veil, including a Boomerang where she shimmied in her white fringe dress and a pink wig. “Meet Blaire,” Matthews captioned a photo of the look on Sunday, February 27.

The Kansas City NWSL team owner and her friends’ Instagram Stories revealed a fun weekend filled with swimming, nightclubs and coordinated outfits. Matthews had a photographer on hand to help her girls capture all their best looks, but she also didn’t mind getting a little sweaty. The fitness expert shared clips of her “I do” crew hitting the gym, which she hashtagged “Britt’s Bach Bootcamp,” and the soon-to-be-Mrs. Mahomes also tried goat yoga with her pals.

One of of her best girls wasn’t in attendance — daughter Sterling, 13 months. Matthews revealed Sunday that this was her first trip without her baby girl.

“I miss my girl so much! This was my first time being away from her and it’s hard,” Matthews captioned an Instagram Story photo of her child with several crying face emojis on Sunday.

The former soccer player and Mahomes got engaged in September 2020, the same year the football star won his first Super Bowl. The high school sweethearts announced they were expecting their first child the following month, and Sterling was born in February 2021.

Couples Who Made Their Red Carpet Debuts at an Awards Show

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 04:44 PM PST

Putting their love in the spotlight! Celebrities know the significance of going public with their relationships, especially when they do so in a high-profile way.

Whether it's couples who are in it for the long haul, such as John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, or for a brief moment in time — we're looking at you, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson — many stars have debuted their relationships on the red carpet of awards shows.

Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas, for example, made a splash at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards when they debuted matching rings one year after they were first linked in May 2020.

Us Weekly confirmed one day after the awards show that the This Is Us star and the soap opera actress had secretly tied the knot. The ceremony was "super intimate" and took place "very, very recently," a source exclusively told Us in May 2021. Hartley's teenage daughter, Isabella, was there to witness the romantic moment, per the insider.

The Smallville alum's surprise nuptials marked his third marriage. Hartley was previously married to his Passions costar Lindsay Korman for eight years before splitting in May 2012. He tied the knot for a second time with Chrishell Stause in October 2017. The A Bad Moms Christmas actor filed for divorce from the Selling Sunset star in November 2019.

The 2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards: Unscripted, which took place the same week as the MTV Movie & TV Awards, also marked Nick Viall and girlfriend Natalie Joy‘s red carpet debut.

The Bachelor alum first sparked romance speculation with the surgical technician in 2019, but they didn't officially start dating until July 2020. The twosome hit their first red carpet together nearly one year later.

"They could be the next Bachelor Nation couple to get engaged," an insider exclusively told Us in November 2021, noting that Viall could get down on one knee "very soon."

The "Viall Files" podcast host and Joy are "very much in love," the source shared, adding that the former reality star's friends "cannot wait for [an engagement] to happen because they know how long he's been waiting to find The One."

Scroll through the photos below to see which couples made their red carpet debut at an awards show — and which ones are still together:

Red Carpet Ready! Vanessa Hudgens, Cole Tucker Are All Smiles at 2022 SAGs

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 04:19 PM PST

Making memories! Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker have enjoyed documenting their growing romance through cute photos on social media.

The pair first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted holding hands in November 2020, less than one year after her split from longtime love Austin Butler. At the time, Hudgens got honest about what she was looking for when it came to a partner.

"Your girl's open. I feel like at the end of the day, it's just about having similar fundamentals and wanting the same things," the Powerless alum told Entertainment Tonight. "I am not picky, really."

Hudgens added: "I know what I want and I'm like, if someone comes into the picture and can give me all those things, then great. It doesn't matter if they're in the public eye or not. If anything, I prefer them not to be, but we'll see."

The couple went Instagram official in honor of Valentine’s Day the following year. The same month, Tucker discussed his commitment to the High School Musical star during an MLB spring training interview.

"I got a girlfriend and she's cool. She's awesome, I love her," he told reporters in February 2021. "But I don't want it to be, 'Oh, Cole's dating Vanessa … ' I don't want it to be treated any differently than Mitch [Keller] having his wife down, or Ke'Bryan [Hayes] having his girlfriend come down. She's great. She'll be around. You will see her, but you saw the headline, it is what it is."

As their relationship continued to get more serious, Hudgens revealed how the duo first formed a connection.

“Me and Cole met on a Zoom meditation group. Very random, yes,” the Princess Switch star told Entertainment Tonight in April 2021. “Zoom, you’ve got to love it.”

Hudgens believed her romance with the shortstop was something special, adding, “He’s just kind of perfect for me. I am [happy]. I really am. I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”

One month later, Hudgens elaborated on how she made the first move when she originally met the pro athlete.

"If I want something or someone, I'm going after them," she said during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in May 2021. "I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, 'Hey, it was nice to meet you.' So I think there is no shame in making the first move."

Hudgens previously dated Zac Efron from 2006 to 2010. The Gigi performer later moved on with Butler in 2011, and nine years later, Us Weekly confirmed the duo had called it quits.

A source told Us that Hudgens and Tucker “are very in love” and “have gotten to the point of their relationship where they have gotten serious and are committed to each other.” While she was “committed to her career and not in that headspace right now where she's focusing on marriage,” the source noted that it was possible he would “get down on one knee and propose” because he is “quite the romantic.” In the meantime, the couple viewed moving in together as their “next step.”   Amid their busy schedules, they still found time for one another. “They are super understanding of each other's careers and give each other space to be free and thrive,” the insider added. “They both have accepted the fact that their lives, including their relationship, are in the spotlight despite both of them being private. They really make an effort to see each other as much as they can but also miss each other when they are apart — it makes their reunions that much more special and meaningful.” Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock

Maksim Chmerkovskiy Gets 'DWTS' Cast's Support While In Ukraine Amid Unrest

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 04:06 PM PST

In their prayers. Amid the Russian invasion of several Ukrainian cities, many of Maksim Chmerkovskiy's Dancing With the Stars friends and loved ones are sharing their support for the dancer, who is still in Kyiv as the unrest continues.

"Everyone stop what you are doing and please please pray for my friend @maksimc and all those in danger RIGHT now in Ukraine," DWTS pro Lindsay Arnold wrote via Instagram Story early on Sunday, February 27.

The Utah native, 28, also reshared one of Chmerkovskiy's recent Instagram videos in which he described his experience.

"There's air raid alarms everywhere," the Masked Dancer alum, 42, said in his Saturday, February 26, Instagram video. "Literally right now. Constant. This is not, — there's no drills. It's nonstop about a minute, two-minute, three-minutes now and it's all around Kyiv, and there's constant videos of like the artillery shooting inside Kyiv. … Yo, pray for a lot of people."

Several of Chmerkovskiy's former dancing costars, including Arnold, commented on his post to share their prayers.

"I love you and am praying for you ❤," Sharna Burgess replied to his Instagram post before resharing it onto her Story.

The Fuller House alum's wife, Peta Murgatroyd, also frequently asked her social media followers to join her in praying for his safe return.

"Today is extremely hard and the next few days will be even harder," the Peta Jane founder, 35, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, February 24. "Please play that he comes home soon. Please pray that he has a swift, safe exit. I have faith. I have hope and I have prayed so hard."

Murgatroyd — who wed the Ukraine native in 2017 — has since shared several tributes to her spouse's home country, including one from her mother.

"My mums first and only post on Instagram. Lighting candles for my husband ❤," the New Zealand native wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, alongside a photo of a pair of lit candles next to a framed photo of Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd.

Chmerkovskiy — who was born in Odessa, Ukraine, before his family immigrated to the United States in 1994 — had been living in Kyiv for the past six months while filming World of Dance. Amid the Russian invasion, he's given fans a look at his experience.

"Honestly, I'm getting really emotional. It's been a little difficult. You know me, I stay strong. And I don't show it, but I want to go back home," Chmerkovskiy explained in a Thursday Instagram video. "What I'm realizing is that my friends whose kids are here, whose moms, dads are here, and elderly people are here, they can't just escape. I am not at this point someone who is pleading for someone else's safety from a far distance, from a safe distance. I'm somebody who's about to go into a bomb shelter because s–t's going down."

On Sunday, the Ukrainian-American dancer noted that he was exhausted when he took to an Instagram Live video to share his feelings. "This is going to either escalate to human suffering on a crazy, historic level, or it's going to stop right now," he told followers.

Chmerkovskiy, who previously made headlines for confronting Kirstie Alley about misinformation, gave a shoutout to the journalists on the ground in Kyiv.

"I give a lot of props to these reporters. I'm surrounded by news teams and what they're doing is absolutely incredible," he said. "They're literally right on the front line, giving you pictures of stuff. It's an insane gig."

However, the DWTS pro emphasized that what he really wants is peace and a way home. "The reality is I just want to go home at this point. I'm just hoping for a safe ending to it all," he said.

His wife, with whom Chmerkovskiy shares 5-year-old son Shai, attempted to remind him of happier days ahead.

“I love you. You will be home soon I promise. Think about how many bbq's we are [going] to have. Then the fishing trips with shai,” Murgatroyd commented on the video, adding a smiling face and heart emoji.

“13 years ago, we both said ‘I do’ … and you have been the best thing that ever happened to my life,” the 44-year-old wrote via Instagram on Saturday, February 26, alongside a photo from their wedding.

The pair got married on February 26, 2009, in front of just 20 of their loved ones at the Santa Monica Catholic Church. They enjoyed a second wedding in Costa Rica about six weeks later with 25 guests.

In his gushing tribute to the 41-year-old on Saturday, Brady continued, “I love you more now than I ever could have imagined. You are the best mother and wife and supporter in the world and I am blessed to call you my wife. Te amo muito meu amor, happy anniversary @gisele.”

The former Victoria’s Secret angel, who shares son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, with her husband, shared the same throwback photo from their wedding day. “Happy anniversary love of my life! Te amo! ❤ @tombrady,” she captioned the snap via Instagram.

This is the pair’s first anniversary since Brady retired from football at the beginning of the month. “I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention,” he wrote, in part, via Instagram on February 1.

The quarterback spent 22 years in the NFL playing for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He won seven Super Bowls and was named MVP five times. He went on to thank many of his teammates and colleagues before mentioning his family in the retirement announcement.

"And lastly to my wife, Gisele, and my children, Jack, Benny and Vivi. You are my inspiration," he concluded. "Our family is my greatest achievement. I always came off the field and home to the most loving and supportive wife who has done EVERYTHING for our family to allow me to focus on my career. Her selflessness allowed me to reach new heights professionally, and I am beyond words what you mean to me and our family."

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen: A Timeline of Their Relationship

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 03:44 PM PST

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen may look like the picture-perfect couple, but the NFL pro and the model aren't afraid to admit that their relationship has gone through ups and downs.

“I’m blessed to find this life partner that we all kind of seek at different times in our life,” the former New England Patriots quarterback told Access Hollywood in May 2016. “We found each other at the right time. We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs together, and in so many ways, that’s kind of built our relationship so strong.”

While Brady noted the pair, who wed in 2009, have faced "challenges," he added that they are always there for each other.

"It's great to have that rock that you can always lean on that can support you in different ways that you need to," he explained at the time.

The Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life author, who shares son Benjamin and daughter Vivian with the athlete, revealed the key to her long-lasting romance with Brady in January 2020.

"I think the important part is to have fully present moments with everybody," she told The Observer. "I think that leads to fulfillment, because they don't have half of you, they have all of you in that moment and then they get recharged."

Four months later, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the couple of 11 years have "gotten even closer over the years by being open and honest with one another and by committing to each other and prioritizing their family."

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, who is also father to son John from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan, tries to keep his personal life private, but often gushes about his wife on social media.

Brady quoted a portion of Stevie Wonder's "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" on Bündchen's 40th birthday in July 2020, adding: "'You are the sunshine of my life. That's why I'll always be around. You are the apple of my eye. Forever you'll stay in my heart' ❤ ❤ ."

December 2006
After meeting through friends in 2006, Brady and Bündchen started seeing each other that December.  “I knew right way — the first time I saw him,” she recalled to Vogue in 2009 about Brady. “We met through a friend. The moment I saw him, he smiled and I was like, ‘That is the most beautiful, charismatic smile I’ve ever seen!’ We sat and talked for three hours. I had to go home for Christmas, but I didn’t want to leave. You know that feeling of, like, you can’t get enough? From the first day we met, we’ve never spent one day without speaking to each other.” David X. Prutting/Patrick McMullan/Getty Images

The twosome faced their first public relationship roadblock in February 2007 after news broke the football player was expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. (Brady and Moynahan dated from 2004 to 2006.) The former Victoria’s Secret Angel opened up about the difficult time in her 2018 memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life. “Two months into our relationship, Tom told me that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant. Following a brief engagement, Brady and Bündchen tied the knot in Santa Monica in February 2009. "We planned it in like 10 days, and it was perfect," the athlete recalled to GQ that November. "We went back to the house and I barbecued aged New York strips. We had champagne, a cake, some ice cream. It was a great night. I think you always have this idea that weddings need to be 200 people and you invite everybody, and I'm all for it if people want to do that, but I think there was really something special about just having our parents there." Two months into their marriage, the duo threw a second wedding in Costa Rica. "The thing about it is, the day's for you," Brady told GQ in November 2009 about the couple’s decision to only invite family to their weddings. Thank you for loving me, for supporting my dreams, and for nurturing our family in the way that only you could. You are my rock, my love and my light! I love you and I love our family!”  Bündchen, for her part, wrote that she couldn’t “believe” the pair have been married for 10 years.  “There is nothing that I love more in this world than you and our family,” the model penned alongside three photos of the twosome through the years. “Thank you for being on this journey with me and for doing the work that it takes to make it so special. According to Brady the key to a successful relationship with his longtime love is “CCC.” During the series premiere of E!’s In the Room in December 2019, the quarterback explained it means, “Clear, current communication.” He continued: “Clear, like, ‘This is exactly how I’m feeling.’ And current, not like, ‘This happened six months ago.’ And you communicate about it. I think that’s helped us a lot.” “It’s not like because I’m a football player, her life is going to stop,” Brady told E!’s Jason Kennedy at the time about his marriage to the supermodel. “The challenging part for us is we are very ambitious people. A lot of the times, I’m going one direction and she’s going in the other. It’s ships passing in the night. When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?’” The Tampa Bay Buccaneers player revealed that he made a “big transition” to resolve their issues, adding, “She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage. "Vegas for the weekend.. 😌," Rondeau wrote in his social media upload. "'In life sometimes we cannot change the cards we are dealt. Just how we play the hand.' 🙏🏼"

Us Weekly confirmed on Thursday, February 24, that Rondeau had been arrested amid an alleged altercation with the former Miss USA, 46. The pair's fight came on the heels of an alarming Instagram Live video, which he posted via Moakler's account. In the now-deleted video, Rondeau alleged that his on and off again partner was still fixated on ex-husband Travis Barker. (Moakler was married to the Blink-182 drummer, 46, from 2004 to 2008, and they share son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16.)

"So, it's over, K? Oh lord is f–king right, so record me now because this is done," Rondeau yelled in his Thursday video. "I'm done. I'm never talking to this f–king specimen of a f–king human again. The truth is I found out that she was talking to other f–king people the whole entire time in our relationship."

Amid his arrest, Us exclusively confirmed on Sunday, February 26, that the former Bridalplasty host had been issued a weeklong emergency protective order. The order stipulated that Rondeau must keep his distance from the Rhode Island native and must not "harass, attack, strike, threaten, [or] assault" or contact her "by any means." The report, which was obtained by Us, alleged that Rondeau "grabbed victim by the hair, [swinging] her by hair on the ground." He then allegedly "grabbed [Moakler's] face and neck, threw chair at victim and urinated on [her], leaving visible injuries."

Moakler, for her part, has since been recuperating and hoping to move forward on her own.

"She's not getting back with him, that's for sure," a source told Us on Friday, February 25, noting that Rondeau has been "kicked out" of her house. "She's completely done. She's been with him for a few years and she was serious about their relationship. …  It's just an emotional time for her right now. Shanna is doing OK and is just recovering from yesterday's traumatic experience."

Rondeau was released from police custody on Thursday and subsequently shared a statement via Instagram Story.

"Today was one of the most heartbreaking days of my life," he wrote at the time. "To my family and friends, I just want you to know I love you so so much. You know I'd never lay a hand on another woman. My mother is my angel and my best friend. She raised me right. … I'm safe and I'm just moving forward. I'm just mentally drained and in complete disbelief. The love of my life has made me out to be the villain. This will be my last post for awhile. God bless everyone who actually knows the truth of who I am and how I am as a man."

The inner struggle fans can’t see. Ryan Reynolds opened up about how the funny, charming persona he puts on in interviews is usually covering his mental health struggle.

“I’ve had anxiety my whole life really,” the 45-year-old told CBS’ Sunday Morning in a Sunday, February 27 interview. “And you know, I feel like I have two parts of my personality, that one takes over when that happens.”

The Deadpool actor is known for being witty and charismatic, but that’s not how he feels backstage. He recalled feeling overwhelmingly nervous before an appearance on Late Night With David Letterman, which he appeared on several times before the host signed off in 2015.

“I remember I’d be standing backstage before the curtain would open, and I would think to myself, ‘I’m gonna die. I’m literally gonna die here. The curtain’s gonna open and I’m just gonna be, I’m just gonna be a symphony of vomit,’ just, like, something horrible’s gonna happen!” Reynolds revealed.

However, his worries were unfounded because his personality shifted as soon as he was in the spotlight. “But as soon as that curtain opens – and this happens in my work a lot too – it’s like this little guy takes over,” the Free Guy star recalled. “And he’s like, ‘I got this. You’re cool.’ I feel, like, my heart rate drop, and my breathing calm, and I just sort of go out and I’m this different person. And I leave that interview going, ‘God, I’d love to be that guy!'”

The star of Netflix’s March movie The Adam Project started to open up about his mental state within the last year. In May 2021, Reynolds revealed his struggle with anxiety during Mental Health Awareness Month.

“To all those like me who overschedule, overthink, overwork, over-worry and over-everything, please know you’re not alone,” the Vancouver native wrote via Instagram at the time.

“I fixate on things,” he told the WSJ Magazine in October. “That’s sort of the engine of anxiety. I lay awake at night, wrapping and unwrapping every possible scenario.”

Reynolds, who shares daughters James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2, with wife Blake Lively, said he uses meditation and mindfulness to stay calm.

“I tend to pave over anxiety with work and, to a lesser extent, achievement,” he explained. “You want to tick boxes sometimes. So these days, my goal is to be as present as I can and not just tick a box just to do it. I’m fully embracing and living that right now. It’s been amazing.”

He also wants to be present with his children. Reynolds shared the news that he was taking some time off as he celebrated finishing a holiday film, Spirited, in October 2021. He called the Will Ferrell flick "challenging" for him and added that it "made a whole lotta dreams come true." That's why it felt like the right moment for a step back.

"Perfect time for a little sabbatical from movie making," he added via Instagram at the time. "I'm gonna miss every second working with this obscenely gifted group of creators and artists."

He later revealed that he was focusing on his business ventures, such as Maximum Effort, Mint Mobile and Aviation Gin, during daytime hours while his daughters were at school. Then, he gets to be in full dad-mode when the girls are at home, and Lively, 34, can take time to focus on some projects away from home as well.

Who Is Holly Scarfone? Scott Disick Spotted With Kylie Jenner Lookalike

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 01:01 PM PST

Reality TV crossover! Nearly six months after Scott Disick's split from Amelia Gray Hamlin, he was spotted with Holly Scarfone.

The Talentless founder, 39, was photographed with the Too Hot to Handle season 3 alum, 23, on Thursday, February 24, according to photos obtained by E! News. In the snaps, the pair stood outside Nobu Malibu. Disick, for his part, donned a black jacket and matching cap, while Scarfone wore a beige dress.

The New York native was last linked to Hamlin, 20, before their September 2021 split.

"Amelia was the one who ended things," a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time, noting that the twosome were struggling after Kourtney Kardashian's ex Younes Bendjima shared a series of alleged DMs from Disick. In the August 2021 social media posts, the boxer, 23, claimed that the Flip It Like Disick alum had dissed the Poosh founder's then-boyfriend, Travis Barker.

Since then, Disick — who shares Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7 — with Kardashian, 42, has remained single, focusing on his family and business amid his ex's October 2021 engagement to Barker, 46.

Scarfone, for her part, was last linked to Nathan Soan Mngomezulu after they met during Too Hot to Handle season 3, which aired in January on Netflix.

"I knew I had met someone just incredible and [who] held a special place in my heart, you know what I mean? And I felt like it would've been a disservice to myself to not really explore that," the model recalled to Us in January about her connection with the South Africa native, 24. "I feel like I would've had regrets if I just let time pass and [did] not harness every moment."

She added at the time: "I feel like sometimes you just know — like, it's really hard for me to pinpoint one thing [that drew me to Nathan]. Besides the fact that he's just stunning, he's beautiful, he's an alpha. His personality is incredible, and he's so intelligent too, but it was just a feeling of, like, I don't know — I just saw him. The best I can describe it is like magnets — almost, like, I was just instantly attracted to him."

The duo quickly hit it off on the first day they met at the Too Hot to Handle retreat. After sharing a bed together and attempting to hide intimate encounters, they cost the group's prize pot a whopping $69,000. The pair's romance did not manage to last outside of the island, as they announced via the January 26 reunion special that they had called it quits amid her busy schedule as a college student.

Shanna Moakler and Matthew Rondeau's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 10:02 AM PST

Closing the door on romance? Shanna Moakler and Matthew Rondeau have had fair share of ups and downs since they started dating in 2020.

After Moakler’s ex-husband Travis Barker‘s romance with Kourtney Kardashian made headlines, the former Playboy model opened up about her own love life.

“I’m with my boyfriend, Matthew. I’m super happy. We’re in such a great place and the things that I create with him, I’m not recycling from my past relationship,” the Rhode Island native exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2021, noting that she believed Barker was taking inspiration from their past throughout his relationship with Kardashian.

Moakler, who was married to the Blink-182 drummer from 2004 to 2008, explained at the time that she was more worried about how Barker’s actions would affect their kids: son Landon and daughter Alabama.

“I think it’s in poor taste to have your new girlfriend sit there while you put a skull and cross bones over my name and post it,” Moakler, who is also the mother of daughter Atiana with ex Oscar De La Hoya, shared. “But why post about it if you’re not trying to shade me? And then, of course, you know, my kids see that. They see their father basically insulting their mother, you know?”

That same month, the reality star’s children voiced their concerns about her relationship with Rondeau.

“Matthew is nothing but awful to her. Not only that, but he cheats on her,” Alabama claimed in an Instagram Story in May 2021, later adding that she didn’t feel close to her mother.

Moakler, for her part, shut down her daughter’s allegations, telling Us it was “heartbreaking” to see Alabama’s posts about the poker player. “What mother wants to have their child upset with them? What mother wants to hear their children say such horrible things?" she added, alleging that the teens were “being influenced” by “very manipulative” people in their lives.

Two months later, Rondeau confirmed that he and Moakler had called it quits.

“I broke up with Shanna months ago, and I’m happier than I have ever been,” he told Life & Style in July 2021. “I’m focusing truly on finding myself again as a person emotionally and mentally. I hope she finds what she’s looking for, but it’s not going to be me.”

Their breakup didn’t last long, however, as Us confirmed in October 2021 that the pair were giving their relationship another try.

"Shanna and Matthew have always been off and on, but they're in a really great place now," a source exclusively told Us. "He has been her confidant during this rough time in her life and they've been having a lot of fun together. They seem to be very happy together and Shanna's friends are thrilled she has love in her life."

Things took a turn for the twosome when Moakler joined the cast of Celebrity Big Brother in February 2022. While the CBS personality was discussing how much she missed her boyfriend, Rondeau made headlines when Teddi Mellencamp claimed she had received shady DMs from him about his girlfriend.

Before Moakler was evicted from the reality competition in February 2022 — and before the pair unfollowed each other on social media — a source informed Us that she would be “completely blindsided” by Rondeau’s actions once she was back in the real world. The insider also alleged that Rondeau was jealous of Moakler’s connection with fellow houseguest Lamar Odom.

"I don't have any feelings toward either one of them, like, I'm not jealous of them [Travis and Kourtney], I don't think about them. Like, I'm in a relationship with Matthew and we're doing our own thing," Moakler told Us, referring to her ex-husband's PDA with his now-fiancée. July 2021
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rondeau confirmed his split from Moakler after removing photos of her from his social media feed.  "I broke up with Shanna months ago," he explained in July 2021. "It is disappointing things couldn't work out between us two, but sometimes love isn't enough. ... Making that decision to have us move on and go our separate ways was not easy, but I know it was the right decision. And overall, beneficial for the both of us." Moakler didn't publicly react to the breakup, but she did share a quote via Instagram, which read, "Women don't even trip after breakups anymore. They just boss up, change that hair style, and forget you ever existed." Courtesy of Matthew Rondeau/Instagram

Following Mellencamp's departure from Celebrity Big Brother, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum called out her former housemate's man. “Shanna’s boyfriend, who I didn’t tag in any posts, slid into my DMs as well,” Mellencamp said on an episode of her and Tamra Judge’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast in February 2022. “Let’s just say, Shanna, when you get out of the house, if he hasn’t told you anything, you need to call me girl." The accountability coach clarified that Rondeau didn't try to hit on her. Before Moakler was voted off CBB, Rondeau raised eyebrows when he unfollowed her on Instagram and removed all their photos.  "When she comes out of the house, she's in for a wakeup call," an insider told Us, adding that Rondeau "causes a lot of drama" in their relationship. "They were headed toward an engagement but now can be headed towards a split." Moakler unfollowed Rondeau later that month.  Courtesy of Shanna Moakler/Instagram

“It was amazing,” Moakler exclusively told Us of her Valentine’s Day after being voted out of the Big Brother house hours earlier. “It was very refreshing to be able to come home and just decompress and be around my things.” The former Miss USA, who didn’t mention Rondeau when talking about the holiday, added: “It was so nice.” That same month, Moakler revealed to TooFab the couple were "working on things" as they attempted to move forward "the best that we can." After calling Moakler’s behavior on Celebrity Big Brother “unacceptable” in an Instagram Story statement, Rondeau wrote that he was “not jealous of Lamar Odom” and “truly” loves his on-again, off-again girlfriend. “Are [sic] love always remains ON and grows stronger no matter what obstacles we face,” he told his followers. Rondeau sparked concern when he went on an Instagram Live tirade about Moakler, accusing her of cheating on him and still having feelings for Barker. “She’s a f--king whore, I don’t give a f--k, you can quote me on it,” he said. “It’s f--king done.”Us confirmed later that day that he had been arrested. A source told Us that Rondeau and Moakler “were working on their relationship” the day before his arrest. “They were celebrating the Celebrity Big Brother finale and got into a fight later on in the night, which is when things escalated,” the insider said. “She left their home to give him space and came back in the morning, which is when they got into another fight.” The insider added that the pair had “gotten into fights before in the past,” but the dispute that led to his arrest “got out of control.” “They definitely have a toxic relationship and go through this toxic cycle of breaking up and getting back together,” the source said. Rondeau was released from jail six hours after his arrest, subsequently writing via Instagram Stories: “Today was one of the most heartbreaking days of my life. Us exclusively confirmed on February 27 that Moakler was issued an emergency protective order against Rondeau.
The Los Angeles Police Department granted her the protective order shortly after Rondeau’s arrest. In the report, obtained by Us, the suspect was accused of grabbing the former Bridalplasty host by her hair, and swinging her onto the ground. He then allegedly threw a chair and urinated on her, leaving visible injuries. Who Is Ariana DeBose? 5 Things to Know About the ‘West Side Story’ Actress

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 10:00 AM PST

A movie newcomer! After appearing in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, Ariana DeBose has quickly become a rising star in Hollywood, racking up impressive nominations that prove she's here to stay.

The North Carolina native, 31, played Anita in the 2021 adaptation of the classic love story, following in the footsteps of Rita Moreno, which was no small feat.

"Ariana needed to bring her entire existence into this character," Spielberg, 75, told The Hollywood Reporter in January. "The biggest challenge for her was to own her Anita, and from her audition all the way through production there was an empowerment about her that was just so palpable. I'm not sure anyone can watch Ariana's performance and not feel how tightly she had her arms around her own Anita and created her own special light."

While the Schmigadoon! alum was initially wary about stepping into the 90-year-old Oscar-winning actress' shoes for the film, she powered through her hesitation.

"I was really tired one evening after [performing on Broadway in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical], and Cindy Tolan, the casting director, called and goes, ‘Hey, can you come to Brooklyn tomorrow at 10 a.m.?’ I was like, ‘But it’s 11:30 p.m. right now. Great, so can I just dance and sing?'" DeBose recalled of her audition process during a January appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "She said, ‘Sure, sure, sure. I got you.’ So I get there the next day, and I walk into the room and there’s Steven Spielberg and Tony Kushner. … So, I danced for him and he really liked my dancing."

She gushed about the script at the time, adding, "These scenes — these are Tony Kushner-expanded scenes. They can be wordy. They’re important. You gotta nail it. Quite frankly, I’m not in the business of going in a room as a Black woman and not getting it right. You’ve got to come in prepared."

DeBose has stolen scenes on the big screen in both West Side Story and The Prom, but she initially got her professional start as a dancer. In 2009, she competed on season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance.

"That show was the craziest whirlwind for an 18-year-old. I had known quite a few people that had done it," the Seaside actress gushed to Simu Liu during an "Actors on Actors" interview for Variety in February. "I grew up dancing with Travis Wall and Martha Nichols. And so, it felt very tangible to me. That is a crazy thing that I just said, but it felt really tangible. And so going into it, it's what everybody thinks it's going to be. It's a little dog-eat-dog. Dancers, we love each other, but we want our spot, you know?"

She added: "I think the greatest thing I learned is that it is a television show. You think it's just about dance, right? No, it's still TV programming. So it is casting and creating story lines and relationships and all this stuff. You definitely don't know that at such a young age, or at least I didn't."

DeBose made her Broadway debut in Bring It On: The Musical in 2012, playing Nautica. 2. She Turned Down 'West Side Story' 4 Times Before Accepting Role
“I asked her to come in and she said no. She refused four times and I had to talk her into coming in,” casting director Tolan told Variety in January, noting that DeBose struggled to see herself as Anita. “With Ariana, it was just so clear that she had the triple. But we got her in the room with Steven who does his camera work, and it became this no-brainer.”  DeBose has since been recognized with nominations at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the BAFTAs and the Academy Awards for her performance. The police report also notes that firearms were seized.

Us previously confirmed Rondeau's arrest for felony domestic violence after the twosome got into an alleged altercation. Several hours earlier, he made headlines when he shared an alarming Instagram Live video via Moakler's account. In his since-deleted social media upload, he claimed the Meet the Barkers alum was still fixated on ex-husband Travis Barker and slept at a married man's house the night before. (The former pageant queen was married to the Blink-182 drummer, 46, from 2004 to 2008 and they share son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16.)

A source told Us at the time that Rondeau was "spinning the story," noting that Moakler "would never" sleep with a married man.

Moakler, for her part, has since been recuperating, hoping to move forward on her own.

"She's not getting back with him, that's for sure," a source exclusively told Us on Friday, February 25, noting that Rondeau has been "kicked out" of her house. "She's completely done. She's been with him for a few years and she was serious about their relationship. …  It's just an emotional time for her right now. Shanna is doing OK and is just recovering from yesterday's traumatic experience."

I'm just mentally drained and in complete disbelief. The love of my life has made me out to be the villain. This will be my last post for awhile. God bless everyone who actually knows the truth of who I am and how I am as a man."

John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh’s Relationship Timeline

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 09:00 AM PST

Second time is the charm! John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh both found their happily ever after they met while working together on Law & Order: SVU.

The Full House alum was previously married to actress Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005, while McHugh was wed to Massimo Lusardi from 2011 to 2014.

One year after they started dating, Stamos and McHugh collaborated again on the 2017 short film Ingenue-ish. They announced their engagement later that year. “I asked…she said yes! …And we lived happily ever after,” the former Fuller House actor captioned an illustration of the couple at Disneyland via Instagram in October 2017.

Two months before the couple’s February 2018 wedding ceremony, Us Weekly confirmed that Stamos and McHugh were expecting their first child. The model gave birth to their son, Billy, in April 2018.

At the time, the Grandfathered alum gushed about his first weeks of fatherhood, telling Us, "I spend the most time just daydreaming about what his and our life will be like. There's no wasting time anymore. That's the best thing about being a dad."

Stamos revealed later that year that the pair were already planning to expand their family.

"We are trying, but the kid is like a c-block. We try to do it fast and he screeches and that ruined the mood," he joked on Live With Kelly and Ryan in October 2018, noting that he and McHugh were in a rush because the You alum is “old.”

In February 2021, the California native confessed that he wasn’t sure how his son would take to having a sibling.

"He's very used to our attention. He’s been asking for a sister, but I think it would probably eat up the kid for a while,” Stamos told Us, adding that his little one wasn’t socializing with other children much throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. "I've been around kids my whole life, and I always wanted kids, and I thought I really knew kids. I thought I knew about being a parent. It’s so much harder than I thought to be a good parent. I can see why there’s so many messed up people in this world, because even if you do everything right, good luck. But it just takes so much time and so much patience and so much common sense."

The musician complimented his partner for being an “incredible" mom to Billy.

"You can’t really leave him alone ever. I cover as much as I can, but it’s been a lot. But it’s also the most, hands-down, the most beautiful thing I’ve ever, ever experienced,” he told Us. “He just laughs. He is the most joyful kid I’ve ever been around. He just loves to laugh, wants to laugh. He’s a very happy kid and he should be, cause he’s got good parents."

"I don't know what's real or what is fake in this war," the Cheers alum, 71, tweeted on Friday, February 25. "So I won't be commenting. I'll pray instead."

Chmerkovskiy — who was previously paired with the comedian during season 12 of DWTS — responded via a social media statement, hoping to educate Alley amid her confusion. (Alley has not publicly addressed his remarks.)

"Dear Kirstie, We haven't spoken in a while, but I clearly remember being right next to you while you were organizing trucks of aid during Hurricane Sandy and I remember all that you were saying to me about situations where innocent [people] are suffering," the former DWTS champ, 42, wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, February 26, alongside Alley's tweet. "That same energy is needed right now. No one needs your prayer if you don't know what's real or fake."

The DWTS Ukraine judge, who had been living in capital city Kyiv part-time for the past six months, has been outspoken about his experience after Russian troops began invading several Ukrainian cities on Thursday, February 24.

"Honestly, I'm getting really emotional. It's been a little difficult. You know me, I stay strong. And I don't show it, but I want to go back home," the Masked Dancer alum explained in an Instagram video at the time.

The professional dancer and his younger brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, were both born in Odessa, Ukraine before their family immigrated to the United States in 1994.

"My parents fled this country for this exact reason," Val, 35, wrote via a Thursday Instagram Story. "Not because it wasn't good to them, but because their kids would see war eventually. It's a cruel irony that 28 years later my brother is in a bomb shelter in [Kyiv]. If they hadn't left I would be on the front lines defending my home right now."

"I am no longer allowed to be Kirstie's friend," the Fuller House alum previously told Us Weekly in September 2016. "I find it ridiculous for an adult human being to 'disconnect' from someone. But everyone is entitled to their own insanity."

He added: "I may turn off a bigger percentage of people than I keep around, but over a period of, let's say, 10 years, people all come back in some way, saying, 'Hey, we haven't spoken in a decade, but I understand where you're coming from, and I want us to continue being friends.' “It’s inspiring to think about the legacy of the Image Awards, which began shortly after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 were passed into law,” the Bench author, 40, began a joint speech with her husband, 37. “Today, we can continue that legacy by re-establishing federal voting protections in our country and fulfilling the work of civil rights giants, like the late John Lewis. We are so deeply humbled to be here in the company of so many illustrious awardees.”

The Duchess of Sussex, who brought mother Doria Ragland to the event, continued: “And I couldn’t be prouder that we’re doing this work together. We moved to California, my home state, shortly before the murder of George Floyd. For Black America, those nine minutes and 29 seconds transcended time, invoking centuries of our unhealed wounds. In the months that followed, as my husband and I spoke with the civil rights community, we committed ourselves and our organization, Archewell, to illuminating those who are advancing racial justice and progress.”

The England native, for his part, felt humbled to earn the impressive trophy.

“I also echo the immense gratitude for tonight, both for this award and this community for welcoming me so warmly,” the Duke of Sussex gushed on Saturday. “I think it’s safe to say that I come from a very different background from my incredible wife, yet our lives were brought together for a reason. We share a commitment to a life of service, a responsibility to combat injustice and a belief that the most often overlooked are the most important to listen to.”

In honor of the NAACP Image Awards, the twosome both wore ensembles created by Black designers. Meghan donned a one-shoulder, blue gown by Christopher John Rogers while Harry sported an Ozwald Boateng tuxedo.

Previous recipients of the trophy include Rihanna, Jay-Z, Muhammad Ali, Lauryn Hill and LeBron James. Derrick Johnson, the president and CEO of the NAACP, said the Sussexes received the award because they have “heeded the call to social justice and have joined the struggle for equity both in the U.S. and around the world.”

Earlier this week, the Suits alum and the former military helicopter pilot announced that their charitable organization, Archewell, is partnering with the NAACP to create a new award that recognizes people working to advance the cause of civil rights.

“We believe in the best of humanity. Because we have seen the best of humanity. We have experienced compassion and kindness, from our mothers and strangers alike,” Harry and Meghan wrote in a joint statement on Archewell’s website when the nonprofit launched. “In the face of fear, struggle and pain, it can be easy to lose sight of this. Princes Harry and William 'Blindsided' by Camilla's Future as Queen Consort

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 07:00 AM PST

Not everyone is on board. Following many ups and downs within the royal family, author Christopher Andersen addressed new issues that may be causing a divide for Prince Harry and Prince William with other family members.

Biggest Royal Family Scandals Through the Years

“It’s just whether or not they can get over this bad feeling. Then, of course, Queen [Elizabeth II]‘s health and these other considerations are there. I don’t think it helped with the queen announcing that Duchess Camilla will be Queen Consort and that’s another issue,” Andersen exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, February 22, while promoting his book Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan.

The royal author claimed that the decision is “driving a wedge” in the royal family, adding, “I can tell you right now that the boys were completely blindsided by this.”

Earlier this month, the monarch, 95, announced her hope for Camilla, 74, to be given the title Queen Consort when Prince Charles takes the throne.

"When, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me," she said in the February 5 statement. "And it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service."

A Breakdown of the Royal Line of Succession

According to Andersen, the queen’s son, 73, was “relentlessly” pushing for his wife to gain the title.

“Charles just wore her down on this too. I also think that since the death of Prince Philip, Charles has stepped up his effort to make it clear to the queen that he too needs [a partner],” he claimed, referring to Philip’s April 2021 passing. “If he’s going to reign, he’s going to need the support, the kind of support that she got from [her husband].”

Charles and Camilla, for their part, released their own statement in response to the queen’s decision.

“On this historic day, my wife and I join you all in congratulating Her Majesty The Queen on the remarkable achievement of serving this nation, the Realms and Commonwealth for seventy years,” they wrote at the time. “The Queen’s devotion to the welfare of all her people inspires still greater admiration with each passing year. We are deeply conscious of the honor represented by my mother’s wish. As we have sought together to serve and support Her Majesty and the people of our communities, my darling wife has been my own steadfast support throughout.”

The couple, who tied the knot in 2005, have had their fair share of issues in the public eye. The Prince of Wales previously married the late Princess Diana in 1981 before they welcomed William and Harry. They separated in 1992 after countless rumors of marital issues, and their divorce was announced four years later.

Royal Family's Most Heartwarming Quotes About Queen Elizabeth II

In 1997, one year after her divorce from Charles, Diana died at age 36 in a car crash. Charles and Camilla announced their plans to wed seven years after Diana’s tragic passing. At the time, there was speculation that the couple had extramarital affairs during Charles’ marriage to Diana and Camilla’s relationship with her husband, Andrew Parker Bowles.

Andersen alleged that the queen was “miserable” during Charles’ second marriage ceremony, saying, “She was begrudgingly letting him do this and one of the key elements was he promised Camilla would never be called Queen Consort.”

Shortly after the queen publicly shared her new wish, a source told Us that the Duke of Cornwall was thrilled that his mother “has given her seal of approval” to his relationship.

"Elizabeth II was skeptical about Camilla when she married Charles and the circumstances were certainly challenging, but through her dedication and loyalty to The Firm, she has more than proved to her that she has what it takes," the insider added. "Camilla has definitely grown on Elizabeth II, more so than ever during the pandemic. She really upped her game and willingly took a hands-on approach with additional duties."

Twin Brides! Inside Haley and Emily's Joint Las Vegas Bachelorette Bash: Pics

Posted: 27 Feb 2022 06:34 AM PST

From the Bachelor mansion to bachelorette bashes! Twins Haley and Emily Ferguson are getting ready to walk down the aisle, and they exclusively told Us Weekly all about their wild pre-wedding weekend.

“We celebrated our bachelorette in our hometown of Viva Las Vegas!” the sisters, 29, told Us via email on Saturday, February 26.

Bachelor Nation met the brides-to-be when they competed for Ben Higgins‘ affections in 2016. They didn’t find love on The Bachelor season 20 nor the tropical spinoff Bachelor in Paradise (where they competed in multiple seasons), but they found their soul mates off-camera.

Emily got engaged to hockey player William Karlsson, who plays for the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, in December 2020, and in November 2021, they celebrated four years together. Haley and fiancé Oula Palve, who plays hockey for Linköping HC in the Swedish Hockey League, got engaged in May 2021. They celebrated their two-year anniversary in January.

For their joint bachelorette celebration, Haley and Emily booked a suite for their bridesmaids at Crockfords Las Vegas, part of LXR Hotels & Resorts at Resorts World. The six bridesmaids were later joined by about 20 of Haley and Emily’s friends. However, no Bachelor alums were able to attend the Sin City celebration.

“We did invite Lauren Lane and Amanda Stanton to our bachelorette weekend but they unfortunately could not make it which we totally understood,” the Nevada natives explained. “Luckily they will both be attending our weddings!”

They kicked off the weekend with a toast and giving their bridal party custom gifts before heading to a Luke Bryan concert.

“We all went out to eat at Carversteak and then got a surprise meet and greet with Luke Bryan before we attended the concert,” the brides said. “Then we had an after party at Dawg House where we were able to dance a little more before returning back to the room to play some fun games!”

Friday night also brought some memories they’ll never forget. “After Luke Bryan we came back to the room and had a dance party where there were blow up penis balloons,” the Twins: Happily Ever After? alums recalled. “We stayed up until 2 a.m. just having fun and chatting and the girls made us a surprise video of all our funniest memories with them so it was definitely sweet and a good laugh!”

After a rowdy night, Saturday morning started off with some quiet pampering. “[We enjoyed] a nice relaxing morning at the Fountain of Youth at Awana Spa which was so beautiful,” they added. It seems like that was the only quiet part of their bachelorette bash.

The BiP alums added that blowouts at salon Miss Behave and a trip to adult entertainment store Pepper planned. After a dinner at FUHU and karaoke at Red Tail, the ladies headed to Zouk nightclub, where they had a table with bottle service and enjoyed DJ Snake’s performance.

"We have the same group of friends and since we are so close, we wanted to celebrate this part of our lives together and just enjoy doing life together," Haley and Emily told Us. "It’s been so fun to be able to share these once in a lifetime experiences as best friends and sisters." Bethany Paige Photography

The bridal party got customized gifts from the engaged Bachelor alums. "Emily and I each gifted our bridesmaids custom purses with their names from Island To East Side," Haley told Us, which some might recognize as what Selling Sunset's Heather Rae Young gifted to her bridal party ahead of marrying Tarek El Moussa in November 2021. The lucky ladies also received "rhinestoned fringe bandanas made by former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Michelle Keys to wear to the Luke Bryan concert," the Twinning at Life podcast cohost added. "Emily and I had these amazing cowboy hats that are all bedazzled with our future initials on them made by War On Sanity!" Bethany Paige Photography

"Meeting Luke Bryan was super exciting! We are big country music fans and love Luke Bryan so getting to meet him was definitely a highlight," the engaged beauties added. Bethany Paige Photography

What do the grooms think about the Sin City party? The brides say their hockey playing husbands-to-be were "so supportive!" The sisters continued, "They both encouraged us to just enjoy these moments because you will only get to do this ONCE! So we had a professional photographer (@bethanypaigephoto) for the weekend to capture all the moments so we could stay off our phones and just be present to enjoy this time with all of our friends!" The bachelor parties, however, haven't been planned since Oula and Karlsson are still in hockey season, but the brides want their fiancés to have just as much fun they did. "They are both away from their friends for most of the year since their careers have taken them away from home so we hope they get the chance to celebrate and bond with their friends once they are reunited!" they said. The Fergusons’ Final Fiesta
Haley and Emily are counting the days until they get to walk down the aisle. "We CANNOT WAIT! Time is flying by and we can’t believe the big days are less than 6 months away," they explained to Us. "This celebration has made it feel so real it’s kind of the first bridal thing we’ve done besides asking the girls to be our bridesmaids. So it all kind of sunk in when we got to the hotel suite, seeing all of our friends together to celebrate our bachelorette, that we will be married women soon!" Bethany Paige Photography
