“Elizabeth and Armie have been working together on their coparenting relationship,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “They are not back together, there is nothing romantic going on between them.”

The Call Me By Your Name actor, 35, and the TV personality, 39, split in July 2020 after 10 years of marriage. The duo share daughter Harper, 7, and son Ford, 5.

The Social Network star has been embroiled in controversy since early 2021, when he was accused of sexual assault by multiple women. His lawyers have repeatedly denied the accusations and asserted that every interaction was consensual.

As details of the controversy emerged, a source told Us that Chambers was blindsided by the allegations against her ex.

"Elizabeth was horrified and shocked," the insider said in January 2021. "She's living in a nightmare. [She] doesn't even recognize the man she married anymore. She wants to help Armie get help but can't do it on her own."

One month later, in February 2021, the bakery founder broke her silence on the abuse claims with an emotional Instagram message. "I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated," Chambers wrote. "Heartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn't realize how much I didn't know."

Hammer checked into a rehab facility in May 2021 for substance and sexual issues, according to Vanity Fair. Seven months later, his lawyer told Us that the actor had checked out, noting in a December statement that the Death on the Nile actor was “doing great” after leaving treatment. However, the attorney did not reveal the specific date of Hammer’s departure.

Though Hammer and Chambers called it quits, their love for their children has always been apparent. Both parents have previously gushed to Us about their relationships with Harper and Ford.

"They're just perfect little human beings who are so pure and inquisitive and open and free,” the Rebecca star told Us in 2018. “I feel so fortunate to have two amazing kids."

The following year, Chambers told Us, "My daughter is me to a T and my son is [Hammer] to a T … His attitude, his personality is exactly the same and my daughter is just 100 percent me, which I love too."

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 04:50 PM PST

In it for the long haul! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham have been together for more than a decade, quietly building their family together.

The romance started across the pond when the model and action star, both England natives, met at a London party in 2009, and they took their romance public two years later.

Their 20-year age difference might raise some eyebrows. Statham was born in July 1967 while the Mad Max: Fury Road actress entered the world in April 1987. However, Huntington-Whiteley told Instagram followers during an April 2020 Q&A that she wasn’t bothered by the gap. “Age is nothing but a number!” she wrote at the time.

In 2015, Huntington-Whiteley admitted that her romance with the Italian Job actor was better than every prior relationship she’d experienced.

"We're best mates," the Transformers: Dark of the Moon star told Self magazine at the time. "He makes me laugh every day. I almost feel like I never had a proper boyfriend before!"

She added that marriage wasn’t the top priority for her or Statham. "For any couple that's been together for a certain amount of time, there's a massive amount of pressure to get married," she noted. "I totally believe in marriage, but being in a happy relationship is much more important to me … [Kids are] something that's more realistic in the near future."

That didn’t stop the Fast & Furious franchise star from getting down on one knee and proposing. The couple announced their engagement at the 2016 Golden Globes — but they haven’t tied the knot yet.

Just as the Rose Inc. founder predicted, babies came before marriage. She welcomed son Jack Oscar on June 24, 2017, and more than a year later, she said the nuptials were still on the back burner.

“I think the time will come,” she told Extra of her wedding in October 2018. “We've been so focused on our work for so long, and Jack came along. We definitely talk about it, we're looking forward to that time, it's also not a huge priority for us, we're so happy. … I think it will be fun to do it when the baby's grown up a bit and he can be involved in the wedding.”

The couple welcomed their second child, daughter Isabella James Statham, on February 2, 2022. The former Victoria’s Secret model announced the news via Instagram a week later, sharing a picture of an angelic bassinet with Isabella’s tiny hand sticking up.

I'm an actress. So it is very self-involved." "I think there is naturally a point where you think, 'I don't care about myself as No. 1 anymore,'" she continued. "I want to care about other things." Joe Alwyn: I'm 'Obviously Happy' Dating Taylor Swift

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 04:02 PM PST

Gorgeous! Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn were first linked in May 2017 and have been notorious for keeping their relationship private ever since.

The couple have remained tight-lipped about their love life since its start, but a source told Us Weekly in March 2020 that they "have talked about their future and marriage."

The insider noted that the duo are "very much in love" and that Swift "considers Joe one of the only safe constants in her life."

While the British actor is rumored to be the subject of many of Swift's songs — including "London Boy" and "Cornelia Street" — she has rarely spoken publicly about their romance.

The Grammy winner did, however, reference her and Alwyn's love story in her Netflix documentary, Miss Americana.

"I was falling in love with someone who had a wonderfully normal, balanced life," she said in the film, which was released in January 2020. "We decided together we wanted our relationship to be private. I was happy. But I wasn't happy in the way I was trained to be happy. It was happiness without anyone else's input. We were just happy."

Alwyn, for his part, spoke out in November 2018 about keeping his relationship with the "Mirrorball" singer as quiet as possible.

"Someone's private life is, by definition, private," the A Christmas Carol alum told British GQ at the time. "No one is obliged to share their personal life."

Swift got real in November 2020 about factoring normal aspects of everyday life into their romance. "'Peace' is actually more rooted in my personal life," she told Paul McCartney in a Rolling Stone interview at the time. "I know you have done a really excellent job of this in your personal life: carving out a human life within a public life, and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you've met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living."

She noted that she made choices so her "life [would] feel more like a real life" that she could control. "Whether that's deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture — the idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it's really just trying to find bits of normalcy," she added. "That's what that song 'Peace' is talking about. Like, would it be enough if I could never fully achieve the normalcy that we both crave?"

On the Public’s Curiosity
More than a year after Alwyn and Swift started dating, the Favourite actor spoke out about their relationship for the first time. “I’m aware people want to know about that side of things,” he said in the October 2018 issue of British Vogue. “I think we have been successfully very private and that has now sunk in for people … but I really prefer to talk about work.” Jerod Harris/Getty Images
On Having a Right to Stay Quiet
There’s a reason why the Brit keeps his mouth shut about dating Swift. “Someone's private life is, by definition, private," he told British GQ in November 2018. "No one is obliged to share their personal life.” LRNYC / MEGA
On Navigating Their Relationship in the Public Eye
In December 2018, Alwyn admitted to Esquire that he doesn’t “seek out advice on” his relationship with the “Delicate” singer because his feelings are clear. “I think there's a very clear line as to what somebody should share, or feel like they have to share, and what they don't want to and shouldn't have to,” he explained. On the Musician’s Political Stance
The “Look What You Made Me Do” singer broke her silence on politics ahead of the United States' 2018 midterm elections. When asked about her decision at the U.K. premiere of The Favourite, Alwyn said, “I think it's great. I think it's important.” Robert Kamau/GC Images
On Working Together in the Future

On Being Normal
The Mary Queen of Scots actor doesn't think his desire to stay quiet about Swift is shocking. “I don’t think anyone you meet on the streets would just spill their guts out to you, therefore why should I?” he told MR PORTER's The Journal in January 2019. “And then that is defined as being ‘strangely private.’ Fine. But I don’t think it is … I think it’s normal.” Chris J Ratcliffe/Getty Images
On Keeping Things Private
The “Lover” singer opened up about why she’s kept her relationship with Alwyn under wraps during an interview with The Guardian’s Weekend magazine in August 2019. “I’ve learned that if I do [talk about it], people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion,” Swift said. “If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it — but it’s just that it goes out into the world. That’s where the boundary is, and that’s where my life has become manageable. I really want to keep it feeling manageable.” Andrew H. Walker/Shutterstock; Scott Kirkland/FX/Picturegroup/Shutterstock
On Finding Love
The songstress didn’t mention Alwyn by name in her January 2020 Netflix documentary, Miss Americana, but she did speak about falling for someone “who had a really wonderful, normal, balanced kind of life.” She added: “We decided together we wanted our relationship to be private. I was happy. But I wasn’t happy in the way I was trained to be happy. It was happiness without anyone else’s input. We were just happy.” Courtesy of Netflix
On Creating Normalcy
The “Cardigan” singer discussed challenges in her personal life during an interview with Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone magazine in November 2020. She revealed that her song “Peace” is inspired by the couple’s romance. “’Peace’ is actually more rooted in my personal life,” she said. “I know you have done a really excellent job of this in your personal life: carving out a human life within a public life, and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you’ve met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living.” She continued: “I, oftentimes, in my anxieties, can control how I am as a person and how normal I act and rationalize things, but I cannot control if there are 20 photographers outside in the bushes and what they do and if they follow our car and if they interrupt our lives. I can’t control if there’s going to be a fake weird headline about us in the news tomorrow.” The Cats actress further explained her choices to make her “life feel more like a real life” instead of a “story line in the tabloids” that she can’t control. Those choices include where to live and when to not take a photo. “The idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it’s really just trying to find bits of normalcy,” she said. “That’s what that song ‘Peace’ is talking about. Like, would it be enough if I could never fully achieve the normalcy that we both crave?” Shutterstock; Juan Herrero/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock
On Creating Music Together
Swift confirmed in her November 2020 Disney+ special, Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, that Alwyn cowrote “Exile” and “Betty” under a pseudonym for her album Folklore. “There’s been a lot of discussion about William Bowery and his identity because it’s not a real person,” she said. “So, William Bowery is Joe, as we know. He plays piano beautifully, and he’s always just playing and making things up and kind of creating things. ... It was a step that we would have never have taken, because why would we have ever written a song together?” Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock; David Fisher/Shutterstock
On Their Bond Over Music
“Joe and I really love sad songs. We've always bonded over music,” Swift explained during an Apple Music interview after Folklore’s sister album, Evermore, dropped in December 2020. “I say it was a surprise that we started writing together, but in a way, it wasn't because we have always bonded over music and had the same musical tastes. And he's always the person who's showing me songs by artists and then they become my favorite songs or whatever. But yeah, ‘Champagne Problems,’ that was one of my favorite bridges to write. I really love a bridge where you tell the full story in the bridge, like, you really shift gears in that bridge.” Shutterstock (2)
On Writing 'Exile'
“He's always just playing instruments and he doesn't do it in a strategic, ‘I’m writing a song right now’ thing,” she told Zane Lowe in December 2020. “He's always done that. But do I think we would have taken the step of, ‘Hey, let's see if there's a song in here. Let's write a song together?’ If we hadn't been in lockdown, I don't think that would have happened, but I'm so glad that it did. We're so proud of that one. Also, because I do remember the exact moment that I walked in and he was playing that exact piano part. And all I had to do was follow the piano melody with the verse melody. So, because the vocal melody is exactly the same, pretty much it's mirrored with the piano part that he wrote. And we did the same thing with 'Evermore,’ where I'll just kind of hear what he's doing and it's exactly, it's all there. All I have to do is dream up some lyrics and come up with some gut-wrenching, heart-shattering story to write with him.” Shutterstock (2)
On Supporting Each Other, No Matter What
In a candid February 2021 interview with Vanity Fair, Swift reflected on why she was "always told it’s better to stay out of" politics as a country artist. Eventually, however, she felt like she couldn't continue to stay silent and received a confidence boost from her beau when she finally chose to use her platform. "I found myself talking about government and the presidency and policy with my boyfriend, who supported me in speaking out," the "Gold Rush" singer recalled. "I started talking to my family and friends about politics and learning as much as I could about where I stand. I'm proud to have moved past fear and self-doubt, and to endorse and support leadership that moves us beyond this divisive, heartbreaking moment in time." Taylor Jewell/Invision/AP/Shutterstock; VEVO
On Being Monogamous
Alwyn plays Nick Conway, a man in an open relationship, in Hulu's Conversations With Friends, but the actor confirmed that he has a very different romantic life than his character. “I think people can do what they want and makes them happy. I’m obviously happy in a monogamous relationship,” he noted during a panel for the show in February 2022 via Deadline. Javier Etxezarreta/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

Devin Booker Recalls Pandemic Road Trip With Kendall Jenner

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 03:58 PM PST

Has Kendall Jenner found The One? The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is loving life with beau Devin Booker, but the twosome's relationship got off to a messy start.

Jenner and Booker were first spotted on a double date — with other people — in May 2018. While the model was seeing Ben Simmons at the time, Booker was linked to Kylie Jenner's then-best friend Jordyn Woods.

Us Weekly confirmed in February 2019 that Booker and Woods' relationship quietly fizzled out before she was caught kissing Khloé Kardashian's on-again, off-again boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, at a party. The scandal, which prompted Kardashian and Thompson to split, also resulted in the end of Woods and Kylie's friendship. (Kardashian and Thompson got back together in August 2020.)

Kendall and Simmons, meanwhile, continued to date on and off.

"I'm very young and right now I feel like relationships aren't always super-certain and I don't want to bring too much attention to something if you don't really know long term [what it's going to be],” she told Vogue in May 2019. “A relationship is only meant to be between two people, and the second you make it the world's business is when it starts messing with the two people mentally. Like once everyone is let in, you're letting all these opinions into your relationships, and I don't think that's fair."

Kendall and Simmons were last spotted together in February 2020.

"A lot of the relationships have taught me more about myself, which is the most valuable," she said during a behind-the-scenes video for a Calvin Klein campaign at the time. "And like, what I want from a person or from a relationship."

That April, the E! personality was spotted out with Booker. Woods was subsequently accused of throwing shade via Twitter.

"Haha good morning," the influencer wrote alongside three trash can emojis in a since-deleted tweet.

Kendall, for her part, never acknowledged Woods' alleged shade. She did, however, fire back at social media users who accused her of "passing around" NBA players after she was seen with the Phoenix Suns player.

"They act like I'm not in full control of where I throw this cooch," Kendall, who has also been linked to Blake Griffin, tweeted in April 2020.

Letting life inspire art? While reflecting on his split from ex-wife Amy Poehler, Will Arnett admitted that it was “excruciating” when he had to return to work on Arrested Development.

“Just brutal, brutal, brutal,” Arnett, 51, explained during an interview with The Guardian on Tuesday, February 8, about working on season 4 amid the major life change. “I was driving to the set one day and I pulled over to the side of the road and cried for an hour.”

The Canada native, who returned for the Arrested Development revival from 2013 to 2019, credited creator Mitch Hurwitz for pushing him to channel his personal pain into “hilarious and cathartic” content for the comedy series.

The BoJack Horseman star also got honest about having to deal with outsiders weighing in on his private life.

“People talk about you like they know you and they talk about your relationship as if they know what’s going on,” he added. “So imagine how weird that is. It’s brutal with any relationship, and we have kids.”

Arnett and Poehler, 50, tied the knot in August 2003 and announced their separation nine years later. The Murderville actor, who shares sons Archie, 13, and Abel, 11, with the Parks and Recreation alum, filed for divorce in April 2014, two years after announcing the split. Their divorce was finalized in 2016.

On Tuesday, Arnett noted that the exes have continued to successfully coparent their children, saying, “It’s been almost 10 years and my kids are so lucky that Amy is their mother. And I’m so lucky that we’re such a huge part of each other’s lives, even more so than we were five years ago.”

Poehler, for her part, also opened up about the ups and downs that came with ending a long-term relationship.

“I am proud of how my ex-husband Will and I have been taking care of our children,” she wrote in her 2014 memoir, Yes Please, adding that she felt “incredibly alone” amid the breakup. “I am beyond grateful he is their father, and I don’t think a ten-year marriage constitutes failure. That being said, getting a divorce really sucks.”

The Saturday Night Live alum later dated Nick Kroll from 2013 until 2015. Arnett, for his part, was briefly linked to interior designer Elizabeth Law in late 2016 before he started dating girlfriend Alessandra Brawn in 2019. The couple welcomed their son, Alexander Denison, in 2020.

The monarch, 95, attended a private event at her Sandringham Estate on Saturday, February 5, carrying a cane that Prince Philip used prior to his death. The sentimental accessory was on hand as Queen Elizabeth received guests and gifts to celebrate the 70th anniversary of her Accession Day. She will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee in June.

“I recognized the stick instantly as it was always kept in a pot by the front door. It was the Duke’s stick, and it is very touching that the Queen has started using it,” the late Duke of Edinburgh’s biographer, Gyles Brandreth, told the UK’s Telegraph. Prince Philip was last seen using the walking stick in 2013, but reportedly used it in private during his day-to-day life at Sandringham.

Prince Philip died in April 2021 at the age of 99. Buckingham Palace confirmed that the prince consort “passed away peacefully” at his home in Windsor Castle on April 9. “The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss,” the official statement read. Sir Huw Thomas, head of the royal medical household and physician to Queen Elizabeth II, signed off on the death certificate.

Since his death, Queen Elizabeth has been open about her grief over losing her husband of 74 years. The long-reigning royal paid tribute to him during her annual Christmas broadcast, acknowledging that “this year, especially” she understood how difficult some people find the holiday season.

“For me, in the months since the death of my beloved Philip, I have drawn great comfort from the warmth and affection of the many tributes to his life and work – from around the country, the Commonwealth and the world,” she said in her speech.

Her Majesty also wore a sapphire chrysanthemum brooch during her speech, which she first wore on her honeymoon with Prince Philip in 1947. Queen Elizabeth also wore the jewelry to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary in November 2017 and she had a portrait from that celebration on her desk while addressing the British public.

“His sense of service, intellectual curiosity and capacity to squeeze fun out of any situation – were all irrepressible,” the queen continued. “That mischievous, enquiring twinkle was as bright at the end as when I first set eyes on him. But life, of course, consists of final partings as well as first meetings; and as much as I and my family miss him, I know he would want us to enjoy Christmas.”

Elizabeth also honored her late partner in her Accession Day message, which she shared on February 5. In her statement, the sovereign shared her “sincere wish” that Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, receive the title of Queen Consort when her son, Prince Charles, ascends to the throne.

She continued: “I was blessed that in Prince Philip I had a partner willing to carry out the role of consort and unselfishly make the sacrifices that go with it. It is a role I saw my own mother perform during my father's reign.”

Danny Masterson’s Sexual Assault Trial: Everything to Know

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 01:16 PM PST

Danny Masterson made headlines in 2017 when he was first accused of sexual assault. He has since pleaded not guilty after being charged in June 2020 with allegedly raping three women.

Four women claimed in March 2017 that the That '70s Show alum sexually assaulted them in the early 2000s. A fifth woman came forward in December 2017, claiming that while she was dating the actor, he "repeatedly raped" her.

Three of the five alleged victims were Scientologists, which is a church that Masterson has been a part of since he was a child. The other two accusers, Chrissie Carnell Bixler and Bobette Riales, previously dated the star.

The Men at Work alum has maintained his innocence since the allegations first surfaced, telling Us Weekly in a statement in December 2017, "From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me. Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit."

Masterson continued: "I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one. In this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused."

As his criminal case continued to be investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, Masterson was sued by four of his sexual assault accusers in civil court.

In August 2019, the women claimed that Masterson, along with the Church of Scientology and its leader, David Miscavige, stalked them, invaded their privacy and conspired to obstruct justice after the women came forward against Masterson.

"Make no mistake, the Church of Scientology is under attack," a source exclusively told Us at the time. "It's a new era. Victims are realizing they do have recourse, and they don't have to be afraid anymore."

Less than one year later, Masterson was charged with three counts of rape in his criminal case. He wasn't charged with five counts because two of the women's cases had insufficient evidence and statutes of limitations.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey announced the news after arresting the Yes Man actor in June 2020. Masterson could face up to 45 years to a life sentence in state prison if convicted.

The actor, who made bail shortly after being taken into custody in June 2020, is set to begin trial in his criminal case in August 2022.

Scroll down for more details on Masterson's sexual assault case, trial and his ongoing civil lawsuit:

This is an ongoing article that was originally published in January 2022 and last updated on January 20, 2022.

Initial Allegations
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Us in March 2017 that they were investigating claims that Masterson sexually assaulted multiple women in the early 2000s. No charges had been filed at the time. The LAPD’s investigation was prompted by multiple police reports and journalist Tony Ortega’s report of three women’s alleged accounts of rape, sodomy or sexual assault, which he posted on his blog, The Underground Bunker. (Four women were on the record at the time, claiming they were assaulted by the actor.) In one of Ortega’s posts, he claimed that one victim approached Leah Remini, who was a Scientologist like Masterson for decades, and told her what allegedly happened. The woman was then advised to file a police report by Remini, according to Ortega. “I met with the LAPD. I met with Detective Reyes [of the robbery-homicide division, who was assigned the case], and I told her these victims deserve to be heard,” Remini told Ortega at the time. “I asked her to do the right thing by these girls, and I told her that the world is watching.” The Dracula 2000 actor’s rep issued a statement denying all claims of sexual assault that same month. “We are aware of [the victim]’s 16-year-old allegations. It was only after [the victim] was in contact with Leah Remini that she made allegations of sexual assault by Mr. Masterson,” the rep said at the time. “The alleged incident occurred in the middle of their six-year relationship, after which she continued to be his longtime girlfriend.” Kcr/Shutterstock
Booted From 'The Ranch'
“As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of The Ranch,” a spokesperson for the streaming company told Us in a statement in December 2017. “[Monday] was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him.” Masterson played Jameson “Rooster” Bennett on the Netflix series for three seasons alongside former That ‘70s Show costar Ashton Kutcher before he was fired in the wake of his sexual assault allegations. Greg Gayne/Netflix/Kobal/Shutterstock
Breaks His Silence on Firing
Masterson reacted to being ousted from The Ranch in December 2017, telling Us in a statement, “I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix’s decision to write my character off of The Ranch.” He denied the “outrageous allegations” against him at the time, claiming, “Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit. I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one.” The actor said he looked “forward to clearing my name once and for all,” before thanking his former castmates and the show’s crew for the time they spent together. “I wish them nothing but success. I am also so thankful to the fans that have supported me and continue to do so,” he added. Tyler Golden/Netflix/Kobal/Shutterstock
More Allegations
Masterson’s ex-girlfriend Bobette Riales came forward with allegations of sexual misconduct in December 2017, bringing the count up to five women claiming the Beethoven’s 2nd actor allegedly assaulted them in the early 2000s. “I stayed quiet long enough. Danny Masterson repeatedly raped me,” Riales claimed via Twitter at the time. “All I seek is justice and to prevent this from ever happening to anyone else as it has for some time. My truth will be heard.” Riales also showed Chrissie Carnell Bixler, who is one of Masterson’s exes and another accuser, support, tweeting, “I applaud her strength as well #metoo #sisters.” Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock
DA Holds Off on Charges
A source at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office exclusively told Us in February 2018 that despite the “heinous” sexual misconduct claims against Masterson, the DA’s office was not ready to press charges. “Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey has asked the deputy district attorney Reinhold Mueller, handling the Danny Masterson rape investigation, for further investigation after the case was formally presented to her almost three months ago,” the source explained. “This case is being taken very seriously and does have top priority within the sex crimes division of the office. Not because of Mr. Masterson’s celebrity status, but because of the heinous allegations by the alleged victims.” The insider added: “This is a high-profile case, and it needs to be airtight before any decision is made about charging Danny Masterson.” Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock
Church of Scientology Sued
Four of the five women who accused Masterson of sexual assault filed a lawsuit against him, the Church of Scientology and the church’s leader, David Miscavige, in August 2019. His exes, Bixler and Riales, were reportedly identified in the lawsuit. The other two women were listed as Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2. The accusers claimed that Masterson and the church engaged in stalking, physical invasion of privacy and conspiracy to obstruct justice after the women reported their allegations against the New York native to the Los Angeles Police Department in 2016 and 2017. Masterson denied the allegations in a statement to Us at the time, saying, “This is beyond ridiculous. I’m not going to fight my ex-girlfriend in the media like she’s been baiting me to do for more than two years. I will beat her in court— and look forward to it because the public will finally be able to learn the truth and see how I’ve been railroaded by this woman.” A litigation attorney for the Church of Scientology also reacted to the lawsuit, telling Us in a statement, “From everything we have read in the press, this baseless lawsuit will go nowhere because the claims are ludicrous and a sham. It’s a dishonest and hallucinatory publicity stunt.” Invision/AP/Shutterstock
The Charges
Masterson was charged with three counts of rape by force or fear, LA DA Jackie Lacey announced in June 2020, three years after he was first accused of sexual assault. The actor was arrested on June 17 and released later that day on $3.3 million bail. His arraignment hearing was set for September of that year and could face up to 45 years to life in a state prison if convicted. The District Attorney’s Office declined to file charges for two of the five alleged assaults due to insufficient evidence and statute of limitations. Masterson was, however, accused of sexually assaulting a 23-year-old woman between January and December 2001, a 28-year-old woman in April 2003 and a 23-year-old woman between October and December 2003 in his home. “Mr. Masterson is innocent, and we’re confident that he will be exonerated when all the evidence finally comes to light and witnesses have the opportunity to testify,” his criminal defense attorney said in a statement to Us after he was charged. Shutterstock
A Robust Defense
In June 2020, a source exclusively told Us that Masterson had a “robust” defense prepared after being charged with three counts of rape. “It should be pointed out the alleged victims are currently suing Danny for significant financial damages,” the insider said. “Danny will not be accepting a plea deal, despite pressure he will get to take it. Period.” Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock
Pleading Not Guilty
Us confirmed in January 2021 that Masterson pleaded not guilty to all of the rape charges against him. His attorney, Tom Mesereau, entered a plea of not guilty on all charges on his behalf during a court hearing. “We want a fair trial and an unbiased jury. We want a jury that is not contaminated by negative media coverage, and in the interest of fairness,” Mesereau said at the time. “We’re requesting that there be no media presence.” The prosecutor, however, did not agree with Masterson’s lawyer’s request and set a preliminary hearing for March of that year. LUCY NICHOLSON/POOL/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock
There Will Be a Trial
In May 2021, a judge ordered Masterson to stand trial on the rape charges made against him. All three women testified at the preliminary hearing, where the judge ruled that prosecutors had enough evidence for the case to go to trial. Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock
Selling His Home
Amid his legal issues, the Chicago 8 actor and his wife, Bijou Phillips, listed their Los Angeles five-bedroom home in August 2021 for $6.9 million. The mansion sold four months later for $6.2 million, according to Dirt. (The pair are parents of daughter Fianna, born in 2014.) Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock
No Scientology Arbitration
An appeals court ruled in January 2022 that Masterson’s accusers do not have to take their case to a religious arbitration panel run by the Church of Scientology after claiming in a civil suit that Masterson and Miscavige stalked and harassed them. “Scientology’s written arbitration agreements are not enforceable against members who have left the faith, with respect to claims for subsequent non-religious, tortious acts,” the California Court of Appel ruled. “To hold otherwise would bind members irrevocably to a faith they have the constitutional right to leave.” Amanda Schwab/Starpix/Shutterstock
Dismissal Denied
In February 2022, the actor sought to have the criminal rape charges dismissed. He was unsuccessful, and his trial is set for August 2022. LUCY NICHOLSON/POOL/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

Who Stars Are Rooting for in Super Bowl LVI: Cincinnati or Los Angeles?

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 12:33 PM PST

Right in their backyard! Super Bowl LVI‘s matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals will be played at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, meaning that celebrities are even more vocal about who they’re supporting this year.

While many stars are excited to cheer for Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford in his first Super Bowl appearance on Sunday, February 13, plenty of others are rooting for the Bengals, who have never won the big game.

Nick Lachey, a lifelong Bengals fan and Ohio native, has been enthusiastically sharing his love for the team all season long. “I was 17 the last time my #bengals won a playoff game,” the Love Is Blind cohost, 48, tweeted in January after the team’s first playoff appearance. “To watch that game with my son made it worth the wait!! Love this city and love this team. Why stop now, let's keep this thing going!”

After a fan tweeted that Lachey must be “pretty excited” about the team’s win one week later, the 98 Degrees singer replied, “You are correct!!” Earlier this month, he noted that it seemed “fitting” that Lunar New Year arrived days after the Bengals’ AFC championship win, especially because it’s now the year of the tiger.

The Rams have plenty of celebrity fans in their corner as well, including halftime show performer Snoop Dogg. The rapper, 50, usually cheers for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he predicted that the Rams would make the Super Bowl all the way back in November 2021.

The “Gin & Juice” artist is set to perform alongside Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar during the mid-game show, which will be produced by Jay-Z and his Roc Nation company. Plans for the performance are still under wraps, but an early teaser dedicated a segment to each of the artists’ solo music.

“Man, this thing is the most epic thing in music, like in hip-hop, R&B history,” Blige, 51, told Good Morning America on Tuesday, February 8. “L.A. is never going to ever be the same. I watched the rehearsals. Watching each person’s performance, I have goosebumps watching it.”

The “Family Affair” singer didn’t offer too many specific details about the show, but she described it as a “celebration of how far hip-hop has come.” She added: “You know [how] I say sky’s the limit? There's no limit on this sky.”

Chaney Jones: 5 Things to Know About the Kim K. Lookalike Seen With Kanye

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 12:25 PM PST

Seeing double? After Kanye West was spotted spending time with Chaney Jones, some of his fans pointed out the striking resemblance between the model and his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.

During a Donda 2 listening party in Los Angeles on Monday, February 7, West, 44, invited Jones as one of his guests. The Instagram influencer channeled Kardashian, 41, in an all-black catsuit ensemble. A source exclusively told Us Weekly that the event was also attended by Kendall Jenner, Travis Scott, Drake and Offset.

Eagle-eyed fans later noticed that Jones has previously posted an Instagram photo with the caption, “his muse.” The public outing comes after the Yeezy designer called out the Skims founder for not including him in important parenting decisions.

"SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?" West wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 4, after previously voicing concerns with his daughter North, 8, having a social media account.

The beauty mogul, for her part, accused the musician of “constant attacks” against her online since their split.

“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness,” Kardashian said in her own Instagram post that same day. "I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably."

West, who also shares Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, with Kardashian, continued to address his issues with the KKW Beauty founder before deleting all his posts on social media on Sunday, February 6.

The California native originally filed for divorce in February 2021 after six years of marriage. In December 2021, the businesswoman legally requested to be declared legally single amid her divorce. Since the breakup, Kardashian has moved on with Pete Davidson.

Meanwhile, West has been dating model Julia Fox, whom he met on New Year’s Eve. That same month, Fox, 32, opened up about being the rapper’s "muse” since they first met.

"You know, I'm so used to being f—ked over in relationships, so I keep waiting for him to disappoint me because he makes very grandiose promises, and it's like, 'How could he ever pull it off with all the other things he has going on?' But he always does," the Uncut Gems actress told Interview in January. "Right now, the vibes I'm getting are very much about tolerance, kindness, and love. I'm canceling cancel culture and putting an end to this black-and-white thinking. People shouldn't be defined by their darkest moment. As humans, we commit violence to each other, we police each other. We've created such a hostile environment, especially on the internet."

Fox recently confirmed that the pair were still dating after she deleted most of their posts off her social media.

“Guys, relax. I unfollowed the fan accounts because I was tired of seeing myself, OK?” She said in a video on her Instagram Story on Sunday, February 6. “Suddenly Instagram was not a fun place anymore. And I took the f–king photos down because I read the comments and everyone was like, ‘Oh, my God, you clearly only posted photos where you looked good in.'”

Dylan Meyer Reacts to Fiancee Kristen Stewart's Oscar Nom With Sweet Photo

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 10:53 AM PST

The perfect match! After a number of notable romances over the years, Kristen Stewart found The One in Dylan Meyer.

The actress started dating her Twilight costar Robert Pattinson in 2009. Three years later, the Adventureland star had an affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Stewart and Pattinson briefly rekindled their romance in 2013 before officially calling it quits that same year.

Stewart was later linked to model Stella Maxwell, who she dated on and off from 2016 until 2019. In August 2019, the Spencer star sparked romance rumors when she was spotted with Meyer, who she had initially met on the set of a project years prior.

The twosome have kept their relationship relatively under wraps, but three months after their first public outing, the Happiest Season star revealed that she “can’t f–king wait” to get engaged, describing the instant spark she felt when she reconnected with the writer.

"I've known her for, like, six years, but we only started seeing each other [romantically]. Two weeks in, it was literally, like, the day that I met her, all bets were off," the California native explained on The Howard Stern Show in November 2019. "I met her years ago on a movie. I hadn't seen her in, like, two years and she had just walked up to a friend's birthday party and I was just, like, 'Where have you been and how have I not known you?'"

The Panic Room star also shared how the pair were "both scumbags" who "felt like trolls as kids," and were "so similar but different" in several ways. Stewart said she and her "brilliant” partner, who she wanted to make "movies and kids" with, dropped the l-bomb after just two weeks together.

“It was, like, really late and we were in some s–ty bar,” she noted. “And her friends were there or whatever, and they, like, walked out and I was just like, ‘Oh man, I'm so f–king in love with you.’ Done.”

Two years later, the Still Alice star confirmed Meyer had proposed, telling Howard Stern in November 2021, “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it.”

The Yeezy designer, 44, hosted a listening party for his upcoming album, Donda 2, at Nobu in Malibu on Monday, February 7, then headed to the Sunny Vodka party at Los Angeles hotspot Nice Guy. The star-studded event was attended by fellow musicians Drake, Offset and Gunna, who recorded some verses for the album, a source tells Us Weekly. Kendall Jenner was also spotted at the party, chatting with friend Hailey Bieber, as was Travis Scott, who recently welcomed his second child with Kylie Jenner.

Among West’s guests was model Chaney Jones, who was the spitting image of Kardashian, 41, in a black catsuit, knee-high boots and blue glasses. This is the first time that the social media star, 24, was spotted hanging out with the “Gold Digger” rapper. The twosome were seen in Malibu on January 30 and Jones was later photographed sitting behind West at a basketball game played by the Donda Doves. The team is made up of members of the inaugural class of the “Jesus Walks” musician’s new school, Donda Academy.

Jones raised eyebrows on February 1 when she posted a series of photos on Instagram that looked eerily similar to West’s estranged wife. “His muse,” she captioned the post, showing off an all-leather outfit reminiscent of looks Kardashian has worn in the past.

The outing comes in the midst of West’s ongoing drama with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum following her decision to file for divorce in February 2021. Tensions between the former couple made headlines in January when the producer accused Kardashian of not inviting him to daughter Chicago‘s 4th birthday party. “I'm just putting this online because I need y'all's support,” West said on Instagram at the time, alleging that the KKW Beauty founder wouldn’t give him the address of the event. He later claimed that Scott, 30, gave him the information so he could attend.

One month later, West doubled down on his accusations that Kardashian was keeping the kids from him. In a series of since-deleted Instagram posts, the rapper claimed that the Skims founder accused him of putting a hit on her and claimed West was on drugs during the drama surrounding Chicago’s party. The twosome also argued over Kardashian’s decision to allow their eldest daughter, North, to have a TikTok account.

“THESE IDEAS CAN ACTUALLY GET SOMEONE LOCKED UP THEY PLAY LIKE THAT WITH BLACK MENS LIVES [whether] ITS GETTING THEM FREE OR GETTING THEM LOCKED UP,” he wrote on February 1. “IM NOT PLAYING ABOUT MY BLACK CHILDREN ANYMORE.”

Kardashian, for her part, denied West’s claims in a statement shared on February 4. “Kanye's constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” the Selfish author wrote at the time. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness.”

Dunst and Plemons played married high school sweethearts Peggy and local butcher Ed on the FX series Fargo. They starred on season 2 of the series.

“It was a gift,” the Friday Night Lights alum gushed at at PaleyFest in 2015 when asked about working with Dunst. “I loved Kirsten’s work for a long time, and I was really excited once I’d met her, and she’s a great person, and we’re both actors that just … have fun with the material.”

Dunst and Plemons were first spotted together off set in 2016. A year later, the Breaking Bad star popped the question.

"It's good. It's so fun. I never thought I would be that person who had a Pinterest board," the actress said on Live With Kelly and Ryan about wedding planning in 2017. "And because we created it together from the beginning it's a really nice thing to do together. It's going to be so personal and fun. We are having a good time."

Not long after the twosome welcomed their first child together, they sparked speculation that they were married at Dunst's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony after they were referred to as "husband" and wife."

"Aside from the brilliant actor you are, I have also had the even greater pleasure of getting to know you as a person outside of work — KiKi or Keeks," Plemons gushed in his speech at the August 2019 ceremony. "Seeing the kind of mother and wife, daughter, sister, friend and cohort you are is why I and all of your friends and everyone else are here today and why we all love you."

Dunst later clarified that the pair weren't hitched yet.

"He's my favorite actor," Dunst joked of Plemons during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "I've made children with him, so I really, really like him a lot." The actress, who met her fiancé on the set of Fargo in 2015, noted that their work is what initially brought them together. "We kind of fell in love creatively first and fell in love as actors. We got together after [Fargo] ... I just knew he was awesome and that we were about to work together,” she continued. “I watched all of Friday Night Lights for the first time. We were cold in Calgary, and there wasn't much to do so I went on a Jesse Plemons [binge]. [But] I have not seen [Breaking Bad] and I feel weird about it. That's the last thing he wants to watch with me." YouTube

After teaming up with her fiancé on the Netflix film The Power of the Dog, Dunst was already thinking about a follow-up. “We actually talked to [Power of the Dog producer] Tanya Seghatchian about what Jesse and I should do next,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “We have some ideas, and Jesse and I definitely want [to] do another project. He’s my favorite actor to work with.” Plemons later returned the compliment. “She’s so, so incredible,” he said during an appearance on CBS Mornings. Shutterstock

Dunst shared a waltz with her fiancé in their movie The Power of the Dog, but it wasn’t as easy as it looked. The former child star told The Cut that she “felt like it’s such a delicate scene that you have to try hard not to make it too mushy or corny.” Luckily, she was working with her favorite actor. “To do a scene with Jesse, I honestly just had to look at him and the beauty of the way he says that line, ‘It’s just nice not to be alone,’” she gushed. “I was just like, ‘Wow, I better step it up.’ Because he’s so good; I just was so moved by it.” KIRSTY GRIFFIN/NETFLIX

After the release of their movie The Power of the Dog, a source told Us that working together again had made the couple's relationship "even stronger" than it already was. "They love to spend as much time together as possible," the insider added, noting that "all of Kirsten's friends love" her partner. "He is very different from every guy she’s ever dated," the source continued. "Kirsten used to be in some more dramatic and toxic type of relationships, but Jesse is different. He’s more quiet, supportive and really lets Kirsten shine." Rob Latour/Shutterstock

“I’ve never seen a man pull off a turtleneck so well,” LeCroy, 31, captioned a video of Randle, 35, on Friday, February 4, via her Instagram Story.

The salon owner’s post had her followers questioning whether that was subtle shade at Kroll, 34, who notably wore a white turtleneck for the Winter House promotional shoot. LeCroy and Kroll’s romance was previously explored during season 6 of Southern Charm as they dated on and off for two years.

After several ups and downs in their relationship, LeCroy confirmed in December 2020 that the pair officially called it quits, telling Us Weekly, “We are not together right now. I am 1,000 percent single, and so is he."

At the time, the Trop Hop Beers founder noted how watching his relationship play out on screen was "like being able to see [the signs] just right in front of my face." Kroll explained to Us that it was surreal seeing himself going through his dating issues on Southern Charm, adding, "I was like, 'Austen, what are you doing?’ What you're seeing [on TV] happened back in May, June, July. People assume that we broke up yesterday."

In June 2021, LeCroy confirmed that she was dating someone after previously dropping hints that she had a new man in her life. That same month, the hairstylist recalled falling “in love instantly” when she met her now-fiancé in Arizona.

"I did not know him at this time, but I go into this bar and we immediately lock eyes from across the room. It was, like, instant," she exclusively told Us. "I said, 'You can take me out, but you'll have to take me out in Charleston, South Carolina.' And he says, 'I'm fine with that. When are you available?'"

LeCroy, who shares son Hudson, 8, with ex-husband Josh Hughes, later announced that she was engaged to Randle after seven months of dating.

“Oh, my gosh. I am so excited and I feel like I’ve been trying to hold this in for quite some time and it has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do,” the South Carolina native told Us in October 2021, noting that her news might come as “a shock” to Kroll. “I don’t think that the lifestyle that I want for myself and my son is something he’s really even interested [in].”

She continued: “It’s going to be hard for him to understand why I do want to get married and do want to have kids in that kind of situation. I don’t think that’s something he really wants to do.”

Kroll, for his part, offered his support when it came to his ex-girlfriend moving on.

“The overwhelming thing that I’ve been thinking about is that this goes further than whatever nonsense I have going on with her for ages. She has a son,” the Winter House star, who has since been linked to costar Ciara Miller, said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that same month. “So this is something that she is about to start a new family and so I wish the best for her and her new family.”

Earlier this year, LeCroy told fans during an Instagram Live that the cast of Southern Charm "will not be at my wedding," because the couple are only inviting their loved ones to the ceremony.

A rep for LeCroy later shared with Us in a statement, “She’s only inviting close family and friends now. It’s no disregard to anyone on the show.”

“The thing that I keep remembering and I keep saying is that Bob — he suffered so much loss in his life. His sisters and other siblings that passed before he was born and his parents, there was a lot of loss in Bob’s life,” the Full House alum, 40, recalled during an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Monday, February 7. “But he walked through it with humor. … One of the things I just remember him trying to joke and laugh and make those inappropriate jokes at some of the darker things because … otherwise, how do you deal with it? How do you process it?”

She continued: “It weighs down on you and that’s something that I will always remember and that I find I do now is I deal with things through laughter.”

Since Saget’s death, Sweetin has been reflecting on her lifelong connection with the late comedian and the impact he had on her life. “When someone passes, all the sudden you think about all the things that you’ve learned from them and how important they’ve been,” the Fuller House star said. “And I just realized so much of his genuineness and his kindness and his ability to help others really impacted me.”

Saget was found dead at the age of 65 in his Orlando, Florida, hotel room on January 9. He was laid to rest less than one week later during a funeral attended by his family, Sweetin and her former castmates. “It was a beautiful service,” the Dancing With the Stars alum said about the emotional day, which included John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Candace Cameron Bure.

“I didn’t get up to speak at his funeral, that was for, obviously, his wife and his children, but we all sat around telling jokes,” she recalled, adding that Saget’s friends shared stories about the late comedian. “All these guys celebrating Bob by sitting around and laughing and telling stories, I think was really the greatest gift and send-off that we could’ve given him.”

Following the service, the loved ones of the former America’s Funniest Home Videos host gathered for a “rock and roll shiva” hosted by Jeff Ross. “We laughed and cried for four hours,” the Roast Battle host, 56, wrote on Instagram at the time. Sweetin attended the event, alongside Stamos, 58, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Ross concluded by encouraging fans to donate to the Scleroderma Research Foundation in his honor. “If Bob ever made you smile and you have it in your heart or wallet please donate,” he wrote. “It's a terrible disease that mostly affects women. Jersey Shore's Angelina, Chris Detail Marriage 'Breakdown' in Divorce Docs

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 08:36 AM PST

UPDATE 2/8 11:30 a.m. ET:

Larangeira officially filed to end his marriage on January 20 and cited “irreconcilable differences,” according to court docs obtained by Us Weekly. According to the paperwork, those differences caused a “breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months.” Larangeira also argued that there is “no reasonable prospect of reconciliation” between him and Pivarnick.

Original story below:

Officially done. Jersey Shore‘s Angelina Pivarnick and Chris Larangeira have split after two years of marriage. Us Weekly can confirm that he filed for divorce in New Jersey late last month.

Larangeira proposed in January 2018 after dating for one year. “I followed a trail of rose petals all the way to his bed,” the MTV personality gushed to Us of the romantic moment. “He proposed and then we laid in the roses.”

The pair went on to exchange vows in November 2019 and their wedding — which included a controversial toast from costars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Deena Nicole Cortese — later played out on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. When the episode aired, Pivarnick recalled her husband being “distraught” in the moment.

“I saw his face and I snapped because I know my husband and I know the look in his eyes,” she tweeted in June 2020 as the couple watched the drama unfold. “I just couldn’t hold it back anymore. I was also mad don't get it twisted.”

The duo continued to weather relationship woes throughout the MTV reality series, sparking split speculation as the Couples Therapy alum discussed her “nonexistent” sex life.

“It’s, like, we’ll fight and then whoever starts the fight won’t want to bang,” she told her castmates during a June 2021 episode of Jersey Shore. “So he don’t want to bang, I don’t want to bang, no one wants to bang.”

The Staten Island native admitted at the time that she’s “not perfect by any means,” adding, “I’m not the most perfect wife ever. I yell at him, I’ll belittle him sometimes. I feel like we’re both wrong. But see how I’m admitting it to you? He won’t ever admit that he’s wrong.”

In a confessional interview, she told the cameras, “Honestly, I don’t know if we can get the spark back in our relationship. And that’s not a good thing.”

One month later, Us confirmed that Pivarnick had filed for divorce in January 2021, but the case was eventually dismissed.

“Angelina and Chris are in a much better place. They’re still working out issues, as any normal couple would have, but are both doing well,” a source told Us in September 2021. “They spend a lot of time together and at the end of the day are still each other’s rock.”

Amid the ups and downs in her marriage, Pivarnick exclusively told Us that the coronavirus pandemic played a major role in the duo’s more stressful moments.

“Unlike Pauly D and Nikki Hall, it didn’t really help our relationship out too much. It kind of did the opposite,” she said in June 2021, telling Us that she and Larangeira were taking things “day by day” while in lockdown.

Earlier this year, things appeared to still be rocky as the emergency medical technician opened up about attempting to convince her husband to try therapy.

“[Chris] didn’t want to go to therapy for a long time and it was like pulling teeth to get him to go. Eventually, he gives in this season and he goes with me,” she exclusively told Us in January. “Then I start going to therapy myself, which I really suggest to anybody out there that needs to find themselves or just needs to talk to somebody. I do it every week. I love it.”

The Sun was the first to report the pair’s split.

“There are a lot of other people — some players who don’t necessarily have to be all in for them [to be in the sport],” the California native, 44, noted during the Tuesday, February 8, episode of his “Let’s Go!” podcast. “I guess I’ve seen that quite a bit over the years, but … I’ve always felt for me, that’s how I had to do it. And my teammates know that I give them everything I can. My coaches know that. It’s certainly not that I can’t do that, and it’s certainly not that I can’t play or continue to play. But I think there’s an important choice for me to make, and I think the choice is, everything certainly comes at a cost, and the cost is what am I missing out on other aspects of my life?”

The former New England Patriots quarterback said that it “felt like it was just the right time” to step away from the sport after more than 20 years in the league. However, when it comes to possibly returning to the game, Brady teased that he would “never say never.”

The seven-time Super Bowl winner continued: “I’m just gonna take things as they come. I think that’s the best way to put it, and I don’t think [with] anything you never say never. At the same time, I know that I feel very good about my decision. I don’t know how I’ll feel six months from now, but I try to make the best possible decision I can in the moment, which I did this last week.”

Brady reassured heartbroken NFL fans that the game still “goes on” without him on the field, but explained that he wanted to “really enjoy some of those new moments” retirement would allow him to have.

“I think for anyone who loves the sport like I have over the years, it’ll always be in my heart, as it should be, because I’ve committed a lot of time and energy and hours to it,” he continued. “But at the same time, there’s a time and place for everything. I’ve had an amazing time and place doing it and I am really excited for what’s ahead, and I don’t know what that means or where it takes me, but I know that it’ll be fun and exciting, and I’m gonna make the most of whatever opportunities present themselves as I go forward.”

While he isn’t “looking to reverse course” and turn around from retirement entirely, the athlete told listeners there are other avenues he could take to stay close to the football world. “I loved playing,” he said. “I’m looking forward to doing things other than playing.”

Brady spent 20 seasons playing for the Patriots before leaving the northeast for Florida, joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. In February 2021, he led the team to victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Last week, he announced he was officially hanging up his cleats.

“I have always believed the sport of football is an ‘all-in’ proposition — if a 100% competitive commitment isn’t there, you won’t succeed, and success is what I love so much about our game,” he wrote in a lengthy Instagram statement. “There is physical, mental and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life. This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes, I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore.”

The Super Bowl MVP explained that he wanted to turn his focus toward his wife, Gisele Bündchen, and their children: Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9. Brady is also the father of son Jack, 14, with ex Bridget Moynahan.

Following the news of his retirement, fans and fellow football players were quick to celebrate Brady’s many successes over the years. Bündchen, 41, supported her husband’s “legacy” in a loving social media tribute.

“What a ride @tombrady! So many memories!” she wrote earlier this month. “When I met you over 15 years ago, I didn’t know the first thing about football. But cheering for you and seeing you do what you love most made me learn about this wonderful game to the point that I seriously believed I knew more than the referees!”

The 50-year-old Sex and the City alum, for her part, noted in an Instagram comment that she was “so proud” of Brady, writing, “Yesterday and today and I know you will do great things tomorrow. Looking forward to the next steps.”

“This is nothing that I haven’t spoken about with him,” Jennifer begins in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, February 8 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, talking to Dolores Catania and Teresa Giudice. “This happened ten years ago. I’m over it.”

Jennifer, 44, confirmed that her husband had previously been unfaithful after being confronted by Margaret Josephs in the final minutes of the season 12 premiere of RHONJ. The morning after the bomb was dropped, a shocked Dolores, 51, and Teresa, 49, check in on their friend. After admitting that she was “heartbroken” by the revelation, Jennifer opens up about how she learned that Bill was seeing someone else.

“I was pregnant, we had just moved to Jersey … he was not around. He was working a lot. And he was really feeling himself. You know, he was making a lot of money,” she recalls, adding that she was tipped off by seeing a credit card receipt with suspicious charges on it. “Then I saw a text message in his phone, and I confronted him with it. He admitted it.”

Jennifer was “literally ten days” away from giving birth to son Christian, now 11, when Bill confessed to seeing another woman. “I’m nine months pregnant, a stay-at-home mom, no income of my own,” she says.

Though she “got angry” and “threw things” at the plastic surgeon, the couple decided to focus on their family when Jennifer gave birth the day after their fight. “Once the baby came and we were having our moments [with him], I was like, ‘I want to make it work if he wants to make it work,'” she explains, adding to her fellow Housewives that they “never f–king spoke about” the affair after that.

The reality star met Bill in 2001 and they tied the knot one year later. They share five children: son Justin, daughter Gabby, son Jacob, son Christian and daughter Olivia.

Ahead of the premiere, Jennifer told Us exclusively that she kept Bill’s infidelity tightly under wraps for “the greater good” of their family — and that she has "no idea" how it was uncovered by Margaret. “I thought nobody would ever find out. … I never told anybody,” she explained. “Nobody knew — [not] my mother, my sister, my best friend, my cousin. Like, when I say I was taking it to the grave, I kept that secret inside.”

Putting on a brave face for the sake of her kids, who have since been made aware of the affair, helped her reconcile with Bill and put the past behind them. “Because I wasn't nasty towards him and we were playing the role of this happy family life — and of course, he was so remorseful and, you know, always petting me, trying to kiss [and] care [for] me — after a while I was just like, 'You know what? Let's just pretend this never happened.' And that's what I did,” Jennifer said at the time.

From Justin Hartley to ‘Selling Sunset’: Chrishell Stause's Book Revelations

Posted: 08 Feb 2022 04:30 AM PST

A time for reflection. From her headline-making divorce to her reality TV role, Chrishell Stause is getting candid in her new book, Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took a Little Work.

"I started this process when we went into lockdown," the 40-year-old Selling Sunset star told Forbes ahead of the memoir's Tuesday, February 8, release. "There was nothing to do and I was kind of going through a lot at the time. A book deal was presented to me and it felt a little overwhelming, but I unknowingly had already started the process. It just felt nice to be able to tell the story in my way and give some context to some things that didn't previously have much."

She continued: "Now that people constantly reach out asking me for advice and connecting with me about things we've both gone through, it did feel like I'm finally in a place where it feels like I can help people in a position where I lived through this. Failure is a part of life and if you don't fail at life, you're not going to succeed in life. Not everything is going to work out the way we planned or the way we had in our head or our ideal life – and sometimes, that's for the best. I think that I'm definitely living that right now."

The book tackles Stause's childhood and journey into Hollywood, but she knows her love life is one of the topics that readers will be most intrigued by. The Days Of Our Lives alum was married to Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021. On the Netflix series, fans watched Stause learn via text message that the This Is Us star filed for divorce in 2019.

"I didn't mind my love life being public because it was something I was so proud of," she wrote in the book. "I always wanted to have a family, and at the time I thought I was with the love of my life. However, I never could have predicted how it all came crashing down so forcefully."

More recently, she dated her Selling Sunset costar and real estate boss Jason Oppenheim for several months, calling it quits over her desire to be a mother.

"I feel like with life you're constantly in a state of under construction. I just had the most successful relationship I've ever had, something I'm really proud of," she told Forbes. "Even though we aren't together, it's really important to us to keep that friendship and to really just feel like we are each other's biggest support group. It doesn't always have to end in heartbreak. If you can recognize that you don't have the same goals, that doesn't mean that somebody is the bad guy. You can still love that person and support that person and want everything for them. It'll just take a different path."

Under Construction is available now. Scroll through for the biggest revelations from the book:

Justin's Charity Commitment for 'Selling Sunset'
Fans may recall Stause offering a coffee date with Hartley as an auction item for a season 3 story line on Selling Sunset. “I hope that person got their coffee date, because to be honest I have no idea how that panned out,” she wrote, noting that Hartley sent her the divorce text one day after the charity event. “To that person, if you never got that coffee date, hit me up.” Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock
Almost Quitting 'Selling Sunset' Over Divorce
Stause admitted that she “no longer knew who I was without” Hartley and feared that producers would exploit her pain on the reality show. While she debated walking away, she didn’t want to lose her second career, which she worked so hard for. “I still wonder why he wouldn’t have wanted to separate in private and wait to file for divorce a month later when Selling Sunset would be finished filming, but what’s done is done,” she wrote. Netflix
Losing Out on Being the 'Bachelorette'
Stause reflected on ABC pulling her announcement as the new Bachelorette in 2008 after DeAnna Pappas’ appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show ahead of production on season 4. “I was definitely bummed,” she wrote. “Looking back now, I can see that everything happens for a reason because for so many years my love life wasn’t the main topic of conversation, and if I had done The Bachelorette, my love life would have been THE topic of conversation.” In the same chapter, Stause revealed she was cast in the Disney+ Cheaper by the Dozen remake alongside Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union but found out three days later that she lost the role to someone else. During season 1 of Selling Sunset, Stause made headlines for joking that she’d “kill myself” if she ended up with the guy she dated when she was 25. In the book, the real estate agent confirmed that she was talking about ex-fiancé Matthew Morrison. “We’ve run into each other a few times over the years and even though I sounded a little angry on Selling Sunset, it’s always cordial,” she wrote. “Looking back I know it never would have worked out, and we were so young and we each other still had a lot to learn.” Shutterstock (2)
Inside the Oppenheim Group When Cameras Are Down
Stause admitted that the “vibe” at the Oppenheim Group is different when the Netflix cameras aren’t rolling, writing that they are “more casual” on days without filming. “We might wear jeans or flats, and our hair and makeup aren’t dialed up to a ten,” she wrote. “When the cameras roll, the drama goes tend to heat up. No one wants to watch us quietly sign contracts for an hour. … Our office is known for being very dog friendly, and sometimes those bitches are a lot nicer than we are.” Netflix
Her Feud With Christine Quinn
Stause wrote that Quinn tried to “bond” with her when they first met, but she quickly questioned her motives, alleging that Quinn would often gossip about their coworkers. “We had a few on (and off) screen fights, and at first it was tough for me to keep my cool,” she wrote, recalling leaving a season 1 party because she was “so shocked” by the “level of antagonism.” The soap star claimed that the fight between the two women over Stause’s past comments about Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet lasted over an hour even though it aired for a few minutes. “After filming season 1, Christine and I were left on horrible terms. We didn’t speak at all, for months,” she wrote, noting that she put up a “healthy wall” to be able to film with her again. When Stause turned down an invitation to Quinn’s engagement party, however, she quickly ended up back on her bad side and the pair’s friendship never truly recovered. Netflix
The Divorce
Stause explained that she “fell hard and fast” for Hartley and “thought that he hung the moon.” She wrote, “When I got married, I imagined being eighty years old on a porch with my husband someday, holding wrinkly hands and laughing about an inside joke.” When it came to recovering from their divorce, Stause wrote that she turned to therapy and self-reflection. “Part of auditing is realizing that there are two people in a relationship and owning your part in what went wrong,” she said. “Being the victim and staying bitter won’t help you grow and move on. Getting some distance from a relationship that you think is good for you allows you to see the cracks in the foundation.” She concluded: “Although I wouldn’t have handled the breakup in the way he did, I would have wasted a lot of time trying to fix something that was irreparably broken if we’d stayed together." Falling for 'Love Bombers'
“When someone is in love, it’s hard to convince that person that the relationship isn’t right,” she wrote. “Even if he’s waving red flags like a bullfighter to everyone around you, you’re the girl striding right up to him, oblivious to any impending danger. You’re too distracted and in your own world to listen.” Stause admitted that she has a “massive blind spot” for red flags and gets caught up in the romance. Without naming names, she compared her first post-split romance with Keo Motsepe to Hartley. “I did fall for another love bomber not long after my divorce, and we were quickly heading toward real commitment,” she wrote. “He was a tall dancer, and he started off as this amazing, positive, generous guy. I took him home for Christmas to meet my family. After the honeymoon phase, though, things took a turn. This time, instead of making excuses for his behavior, I actually opened my eyes, pushed past the smoke and mirrors, and saw the truth.” Shutterstock(3)
Dating Jason
Stause briefly touched on how she and her Selling Sunset boss went from coworkers to dating in the book, which was written before their December 2021 split. She explained that they were nearly caught for weeks before going public via Instagram. “We got tired of hiding like two kids smoking in the bathroom, so we posted about it ourselves,” she wrote. “One night when we were out, we kissed. It could’ve ended up with us laughing and saying What are we thinking? Instead, it kicked off my first relationship where I felt like I could be 100 percent myself, with my best friend.” Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
'DWTS' Challenges
Stause has been open about freezing her eggs, explaining in the book that she was in the middle of the process when she started Dancing With the Stars in 2020. She recalled the first week being “the hardest” as she felt like “I had a basketball in my stomach.” She called her tango to “Raise Your Glass” by Pink “frustrating” — it’s “not a freaking tango song” — and said partner Gleb Savchenko thought they would be eliminated first. Stause, however, felt comfortable as an underdog and was ultimately the seventh celebrity eliminated. ABC/Eric McCandless

“I don’t have Instagram or Twitter or any of that stuff, so, like, most of my daily life is getting into cars and showing up to a set,” Davidson, 28, told People on Monday, February 7. “Or, if I’m off, I just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside.”

The laid-back approach means that despite Kardashian, 41, being one of the most famous women in the world, the King of Staten Island star isn’t affected by fans’ opinions. “Once in a while, someone will scream something at you, or it might be hard to get Dunkin’ Donuts,” he added. “But other than that, it’s pretty fine. It’s not awful. It could be way worse.”

He opened up just weeks after a source told Us Weekly that the two had “definitely gotten serious,” with the Meet Cute star looking for real estate on the West Coast in January.

The pair initially sparked dating speculation in October after they were spotted hanging out with Kourtney Kardashian and fiancé Travis Barker in California, weeks after Kim hosted Saturday Night Live. At the time, a source exclusively told Us that the beauty mogul and the comedian were "just friends," but that "things could turn romantic” in the future.

Kim and Davidson continued to spend time together when she visited New York earlier this month, with the duo grabbing dinner two nights in a row. Although the twosome got to know each other when the Skims founder hosted the NBC show one month prior, another insider noted that Davidson waited to ask the California native to hang out after they finished filming.

“He was a true professional the whole time they rehearsed and in between takes, but afterward things got flirty,” the source shared with Us. “They exchanged numbers and Pete asked if Kim would like to hang out sometime, which she agreed to straight away.”

The couple took their romance public when they were photographed holding hands in November. The outing came after they celebrated his birthday with her mother, Kris Jenner, on November 17. After the pics of Kim and Davidson made headlines, a third source revealed that her family was onboard with the new relationship.

"The family is happy for Kim, and they really have taken a liking to Pete," the insider said at the time. "A lot of the Kardashians met him in the past and have hung out with him, so he’s not like this new stranger that just entered into their lives. They think he’s funny and is fun to be around. He’s someone that just lightens the mood in the room."

Davidson is the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s first public boyfriend since she filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021. The musician, 45, who shares daughter North, 8, son Saint, 5, daughter Chicago, 3, and son Psalm, 2 with Kim, later claimed that he never received any divorce papers.

"SNL making my wife say 'I divorced him' on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off and I never have seen the papers. We're not even divorced," he said during an appearance on Revolt's "Drink Champs" in November, referring to jokes in Kim’s monologue. "So how we — because [it's] no joke to me, my kids want their parents to stay together. I want their parents — I want us to be together."

The Yeezy designer’s attempts to reconcile didn’t bother the New Yorker. “Pete is not worried about Kanye trying to get back with Kim," a source told Us in December 2021. "He's very laid-back and understanding. They're super smitten with each other."

The 20-year-old reality star shared a photo via her Instagram Story on Monday, February 7, of what appeared when she typed "Kody Brown" into her Google search bar. The answer: "Christine Brown's ex-husband."

Gwendlyn captioned the screenshot, "I'm deadass [serious] when I tell you this is what comes up when you Google my father."

Kody, 53, and Christine, 49, made headlines in November 2021 when the Utah native announced that the pair were separating after 25 years of marriage.

"After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave," Christine, 49, wrote via Instagram at the time. "We will continue to be a strong presence in each other's lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. Sister Wives' Christine Brown and Kody Brown's Ups and Downs Over the Years

The duo's relationship ups and downs have been documented on the TLC series. During season 16 of the show, Christine revealed that the "intimate part" of their marriage was "over" after more than two decades together.

"I'm not OK with staying in a marriage where there's no intimacy," the Becoming Sister Wives coauthor said during the January 23 episode. "That's not a real marriage. I'm not interested in a half marriage or a partial marriage or whatever we have."

During the episode, Kody claimed Christine "murdered our intimacy with betrayal," which only solidified her to move from the plural family's Arizona property back to her home state of Utah.

Two months after parting ways, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Kody had no plans of going through a spiritual divorce with Christine.

"He wouldn't give Christine — or any of his other wives for that matter — the courtesy of going along with [a formal ceremony] since he feels betrayed," the insider said in January, adding that the patriarch has "become more angry and bitter" recently.

Christine, for her part, claimed that she and Kody are divorced — at least in her mind.

“In our church, polygamous women can leave. They are not trapped," she said during part two of the Sister Wives: One on One tell-all special, which aired on Sunday, February 6. "I haven’t been a member of that church for a long time, I left a long time ago. I don’t really care. I think that God’s fine if I just want to be happy.”

Kody confirmed that Christine was no longer an active member in their family's church, adding, "Right now, it’s in God’s hands and I’m not worried about it. God sorts those things out."

When Christine joined Kody's polygamist family in 1994, he was legally married to Meri Brown (the two tied the knot in 1990) and had a spiritual union with Janelle Brown (the two have been together since 1993.) The Brown family patriarch later divorced Meri, 51, in order to legally wed Robyn Brown in 2014 and adopted her three children — David, 21, Aurora, 18, and Breanna, 16 — from a previous marriage.

Kody is the father of 18 children, sharing daughter Mariah, 26, with Meri, and six kids — sons Logan, 27, Hunter, 24, Robert Garrison, 23, and Gabriel, 21, and daughters Maddie, 26, and Savannah, 17 — with Janelle, 52. He and Robyn, 43, have two children of their own: Solomon, 10, and Ariella, 6.

Sister Wives airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
