“Sometimes women don’t rise. Sometimes we fall,” Clarkson, 39, jokingly told guest host Taraji P. Henson on Tuesday, February 15, while wearing pajamas and a sleep mask on the call. “I thought we were done with quarantining, and I’m so tired. I broke a nail. I’m so broken. This is me broken. My almond milk just expired. America, this is what I look like. You’re welcome.”

The Texas native had to stay home after learning she was exposed to someone who had tested positive for COVID-19. She explained that she did not test positive, adding, “I’m not even sick. It’s so weird. Anyway, we’re keeping it safe.”

Clarkson, who shares daughter River, 7, and son Remington, 5, with Brandon Blackstock, also opened up about how the household has been keeping busy.

“When I watch a movie with my children, it’s like watching three movies,” she shared. “We’re watching Encanto and then you’re listening to my son who always leaves mid-movie and just starts singing the soundtrack, and then you have River who literally just, right after the line is said, she just repeats like she’s memorizing dialogue for a play.”

Last month, the Voice coach agreed to give Blackstock a 5.12 percent share of the property, which amounts to $908,800. Clarkson was previously ordered to pay $150,000 per month in spousal support and $45,601 per month to “benefit” their children.

“I know with me and Brandon, it’s just a difficult thing because we’re in different places, and it’s like, we both agree on the main things, but it’s a hard thing when you’re not together all the time, for me personally,” Clarkson said in February 2021 to guest Khloé Kardashian. “As long as you make sure it’s about the children and their best interests, then we’re both on board."

Bob Saget's Family Files Lawsuit to Keep Death Investigation Private

They want to mourn in peace. After Bob Saget‘s cause of death was revealed, wife Kelly Rizzo and daughters Aubrey, Lara and Jennifer have filed a lawsuit to keep further information private.

The Full House star died at age 65 in Orlando, Florida on January 9. A month after his passing, his cause of death was revealed as head trauma. The medical examiner released a statement following the family’s announcement, but the women want to stop any further details from being published.

The suit, filed against Orange County Sheriff John Mina and the medical examiner’s office, argues that releasing more information — including photos or videos — would cause his loved ones to “suffer irreparable harm in the form of extreme mental pain, anguish and emotional distress,” according to documents obtained by Us Weekly.

The family has shared many details with the public. Rizzo, who married Saget in 2018, and her stepdaughters (their mother, Sherri Kramer, and Saget divorced in 1997) released a statement about the comedian’s cause of death on February 9.

"In the weeks since Bob's passing, we have been overwhelmed with the incredible outpouring of love from Bob's fans, which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are eternally grateful. Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities' investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us," the Saget family told Us Weekly at the time. "The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved."

The statement continued: "As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter."

The Orange County, Florida, Medical Examiner emphasized that the fatal injury was believed to be entirely accidental.

"It is my opinion that the death of Mr. Saget was the result of blunt head trauma. His injuries were most likely incurred from an unwitnessed fall," the M.E., Joshua Stephany, noted in a press release on Thursday, February 10. "A toxicology analysis did not reveal any illicit drugs or toxins. The manner of death is accident. Our condolences go out to Mr. Saget's loved ones during this difficult time."

On Friday, February 11, the autopsy report revealed more details. Saget tested positive for COVID-19, and he had several fractures on his head, including at the base of the skull.

Prior to the news of the lawsuit, Saget’s daughter Lara, 32, shared a note saying she wished people understood “how important privacy is to grieve” on Tuesday, February 15.

“It is so sad to see where so many people place their focus, on pain, drama, gossip, negativity,” she wrote via Instagram. “That focus creates pain in their world and in everyone’s lives. I pray people find clarity, learn to love themselves, and to honor other human beings on this planet.”

Everything Kanye Has Said About Kim K. Since Their Split

Posted: 16 Feb 2022 06:35 AM PST

Still worth discussing. Kanye West has not remained mum about his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, since their split.

Us Weekly confirmed in February 2021 that the Skims founder filed for divorce from the rapper after six years of marriage and months of rumors about an impending separation. A source revealed that the pair "had a big fight" in December 2020 that pushed her to her breaking point.

Kardashian hinted at the reasons behind the split during a June 2021 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "I just think he deserves someone who will support his every move and go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming. I can't do that," she explained. "He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything, and I can't. I feel like a f–king failure. It's my third f–king marriage. Yeah, I feel like a f–king loser. But I can't even think about that. I want to be happy."

The reality star elaborated on how West's relocation to Wyoming affected their marriage during an episode that aired later that month.

"After turning 40 this year, I realized like, 'No, I don't want a husband that lives in a completely different state,'" she noted. "To me, I thought, 'Oh, my God, that's when we're getting along the best,' but then that is sad to me and that's not what I want. I want someone that we have the same shows in common. I want someone who wants to work out with me. … I have all the big things. I have the extravagant everything you can possibly imagine and no one will ever do it like that — I know that, and I'm grateful for those experiences — but I think I'm ready for the smaller experiences that I think will mean a lot."

The KKW Beauty founder insisted during the June 2021 Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion special that there was not "one specific thing that happened on either part" to cause the breakup. Instead, "a general difference of opinions on a few things" led to the decision.

Kardashian and West — who share daughters North and Chicago and sons Saint and Psalm — remained friends after their split. They reunited publicly on multiple occasions: He advised her on her 2021 Met Gala ensemble and her Saturday Night Live hosting debut in October 2021 (during which she joked about their divorce) and she agreed to recreate their wedding at one of his Donda listening parties in August 2021.

"They have more of a friendship and working relationship as they coparent," an insider told Us in October 2021, adding that she "will be involved with Kanye's work ventures and he will be involved with hers."

Scroll through the gallery below to revisit everything West has said about Kardashian since their split.

Confession?
The Grammy winner seemingly admitted to cheating on the TV personality during their marriage in his August 2021 song “Hurricane.” The lyrics read, “Here I go actin’ too rich / Here I go with a new chick / And I know what the truth is / Still playin’ after two kids / It’s a lot to digest when your life always movin’.”   A source told Us the following month that the track was “a testimony from Kanye about everything that went wrong [in his relationship with Kardashian] and him taking accountability,” noting that the “lyrics really speak for themselves.”   Another insider revealed that Kardashian was warned about the song’s content. “She wasn’t blindsided, but it is what it is,” the source said. “She’s known her whole marriage/life with Kanye that he’s an open book and there’s nothing she could ever do to stop him from saying whatever he wants. But she had a heads-up.” Shutterstock (2)
Avant-Garde
Kardashian’s black Balenciaga bodysuit caused a stir at the Met Gala in September 2021, but West showed his support by posting photos of the ensemble — which he helped create — via Instagram. His friend Fonzworth Bentley added in the comments section, “’Look at what my kim did’ – @kanyewest.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Still Hope?
The musician teased a possible reconciliation with Kardashian in November 2021. “SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off and I never have seen the papers. We’re not even divorced,” he claimed during part one of his Revolt’s “Drink Champs” appearance. “So how we — because [it’s] no joke to me, my kids want their parents to stay together. I want their parents — I want us to be together.”  Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Sabotage Allegations
West claimed in November 2021 that people around the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum are sabotaging her attempts to become an attorney. “I feel like there’s people who might not want Kim Kardashian to become a lawyer,” he alleged during part two of his “Drink Champs” appearance. “Because you know what happens if Kim Kardashian becomes a lawyer? That shirt gets a little bit higher, that cleavage gets a little bit more covered up.”   Courtesy of Kim Kardashian/Instagram
Family Man
The “Heartless” rapper once again hinted at a reunion with Kardashian during part two of his “Drink Champs” appearance. “But at the end of the day, I ain’t got the paperwork yet, so I’m [going to] come on this joint and try to save my family and keep my family together,” he said.   Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock; Willy Sanjuan/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
God’s Part
The rapper gave a speech about his marriage while visiting Skid Row in November 2021. “The narrative that God wants is for you to see that everything can be redeemed,” he said at the time. “In all these relationships, we’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason — I didn’t know I was going to be standing right here, I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I’m here to change that narrative.” He added, "I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So when I’m out [of] the house, I’ve got a house right next to the house. I’m doing everything to be right next to the situation." Later in the speech, he hinted that God will bring them back together, telling the crowd, "If the enemy can separate Kimye, there’s going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is OK … [but] when God — who has already won and is so — brings Kimye together, there’s going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced and see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma of the devil that’s used to capitalize and keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store."   Cindy Barrymore/Shutterstock
Going Public
During a December 2021 benefit concert in Los Angeles, West performed his 2010 hit "Runaway" — and called out Kardashian directly. "I need you to run right back to me," he sang. "More specifically, Kimberly." Shutterstock (2)
Staying Close
“My solace comes from seeing my kids and getting a solid schedule," West said about the pair’s four children during a January 2022 “Hollywood Unlocked” interview. “I’m gonna be so close, the kids are literally going to be in walking distance. I don’t play when it comes to my children.” Zacharie Scheurer/AP/Shutterstock; Willy Sanjuan/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
The House Next Door
In early 2022, the rapper purchased the house next door to his estranged wife's residence to be closer to their kids. “Nothing with my career, with this rap, with this media, with none of that [is] gonna keep me from my children,” he told “Hollywood Unlocked” host Jason Lee in January 2022. "And that’s what I want everybody to know: Don’t play with me, don’t play with my children, ain’t no security gonna get in between me and my children and you ain’t finna gaslight me." TikTok-Gate
West claimed in February 2022 via Instagram that daughter North’s TikTok account — which she shares with her mom — was created “against my will.” (The beauty mogul denied his allegations, noting that the social media account brings North happiness and is only used with adult supervision.) Drug Test Allegations
“What do you mean by main provider? America saw you try to kid nap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address,” West slammed his estranged wife’s claims that she was their children’s primary caretaker via Instagram in February 2022 before discussing his attendance at daughter Chicago's birthday party. “You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way.” He deleted the post days later. Fighting Over Custody
The rapper alleged in a since-deleted post via Instagram in February 2022 that his estranged spouse had banned him from bringing their four kids to his hometown of Chicago, writing, “Kim is stopping that, how is this joint custody?” Shutterstock (2)
Kanye's Allegations
“YESTERDAY KIM ACCUSED ME OF PUTTING A HIT OUT ON HER,” West alleged via Instagram in February 2022. “SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT I BEG TO GO TO MY DAUGHTERS PARTY AND IM ACCUSED OF BEING ON DRUGS THEN I GO PLAY WITH MY SON AND I TAKE MY AKIRA GRAPHIC NOVELS AND IM ACCUSED OF STEALING NOW IM BEING ACCUSED OF PUTTING A HIT ON HER THESE IDEAS CAN ACTUALLY GET SOMEONE LOCKED UP THEY PLAY LIKE THAT WITH BLACK MENS LIVES WEATHER ITS GETTING THEM FREE OR GETTING THEM LOCKED UP IM NOT PLAYING ABOUT MY BLACK CHILDREN ANYMORE.” He deleted the post hours later. Her ‘Biggest W’
“HOLD YOUR SPOUSE CLOSE MAKE SURE THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE AND APPRECIATE THEM BECAUSE THERES A SKETE LURKING IN EVERY DIRTY ASS ALLEY WAITING TO HELP DESTROY YOUR FAMILY AND WALK AROUND IN CALVIN KLEINS AROUND YOUR CHILDREN,” West wrote in a since-deleted Super Bowl Sunday Instagram post that has since been deleted. “WISH MY WIFE WAS WITH ME AND OUR CHILDREN SITTING AT THE 50 YARD LINE @kimkardashian ALWAYS REMEMBER WEST WAS YOUR BIGGEST W.” Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock
Making Amends
"GOD PLEASE BRING OUR FAMILY BACK TOGETHER," West wrote alongside several photos of Kardashian and their kids in February 2022, shortly after he deleted all his social media posts calling out his estranged wife. Courtesy of Kim Kardashian/Instagram; Pixelformula/Sipa/Shutterstock
Valentine's Day Plea
After dissing Davidson several times ahead of Super Bowl LVI in February 2022 — and declaring the actor will “never” meet his kids — West shared photos of Kardashian’s pre-Valentine’s Day date with her beau. “I DON’T HAVE BEEF WITH KIM I LOVE MY FAMILY SO STOP THAT NARRATIVE IM NOT GIVING UP ON MY FAMILY,” he wrote via Instagram. “I BOUGHT THIS COAT FOR KIM BEFORE SNL I THOUGHT IT WAS PARTICULARLY SPECIAL I HAVE FAITH THAT WE‘LL BE BACK TOGETHER. … SOMETIMES PEOPLE CALL ME CRAZY BUT TO BE IN LOVE IS TO BE CRAZY ABOUT SOMETHING AND I AM CRAZY ABOUT MY FAMILY HAPPY VALENTINES.” In another post that same day, he added, “IF YOU SEE SKETE IN REAL LIFE SCREAM AT YHE LOOSER AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS AND SAY KIMYE FOREVER 💔.” Shutterstock (3)
‘Accountability’
In alleged screen shots of text messages with Kardashian, the reality star appeared to ask her ex to stop slamming her boyfriend publicly as the situation could become "dangerous." The rapper told fans not to attack the King of Staten Island star, assuring his estranged wife that he's trying to "protect" their family. “I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever. And I listened to you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete," he said in the messages shared in mid-February 2022. West apologized a day later for sharing the texts as well as writing his messages in all capital letters. “I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim," he wrote, in part. "I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener.” Hours later, West shared another snap of Kardashian, captioning it, "VISION OH SORRY ALL CAPS IS BACK FOR THE PEOPLE THATS ALL CAP." He later deleted the post. Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

Marvel Stars' Dating Histories Through the Years

Posted: 16 Feb 2022 05:04 AM PST

Superheroes want love too! Romantic relationships have always been a key part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even if those story lines sometimes take a backseat to the action. Stars within the franchise have not only connected meaningfully on screen, but they have also found romance in their real lives.

Scarlett Johansson, for one, married Colin Jost in October 2020, once she was already well established in her role as Black Widow. Although the Saturday Night Live star's fascination with Marvel would seem like a positive thing, the actress revealed in June 2021 that there was a downside to her husband being a fan of her work.

"He read comics growing up," Johansson explained on SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Podcast With Julia Cunningham" at the time. "He was a big Wolverine fan. He doesn’t like any spoilers though, so I can’t tell him anything. And he doesn’t even pry. Even if I’m telling him — when we were shooting [Black Widow] in London, Colin was also there. He was shooting Tom and Jerry, which worked out great. 'Cause we were together in the same city for a long time, which is rare. And if I was in the middle of a big action set piece or sequence or whatever, he couldn’t hear. He was just not wanting to hear anything about it — anything about the details. Of course, he wants to know, 'How was your day?' but as soon as it would bleed into, 'Can you read the scene with [me]?' he was like, 'Am I going to get any spoilers or like?' He wanted to know spoiler alert before we read lines together. Can you believe that?"

While the Oscar nominee found The One in the form of a Marvel devotee, the franchise is not without its on-set romances. Tom Holland and Zendaya play love interests Peter and MJ, respectively, in the Spider-Man films, leading to a real-life spark between the costars.

The pair repeatedly shut down rumors that they were an item after first being linked in 2017. "We are friends," the Euphoria star told Variety at the time. "He's a great dude. He's literally one of my best friends. This past how[ever] many months we've had to do press tours together. There's very few people that will understand what that's like at 20 years old."

After years of denials, Holland and Zendaya were spotted kissing in his car in July 2021.

How Prince William Spoiled Duchess Kate on Valentine's Day

Royal romance! Prince William and Duchess Kate are busy parents, but they still found time to celebrate Valentine’s Day, an insider exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.

Queen Elizabeth II's Royal Family Tree

“William surprised Kate with a huge box of 50 roses on Valentine's Day,” the source says of the Duke of Cambridge, 39, and his wife, 40. “He handwrote the most romantic message in his card, praising her for being such a wonderful wife and mother.”

The couple’s three children — Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3 — also helped make the day special, giving their parents “handmade Valentine’s cards” that they crafted at school.

Queen Elizabeth II‘s grandson and the Duchess of Cambridge tied the knot in April 2011 after eight years of dating. The duo met in 2001 while attending the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

“Obviously, we both have a very fun time together, both have a very good sense of humor about things,” William told The Telegraph in 2010 after the twosome got engaged. “We’re down to Earth, we take the mickey out of each other a lot and she’s got plenty of habits that make me laugh that I tease her about.”

Now that the pair have been married for more than a decade, they’re less interested in “extravagant” Valentine’s celebrations, the insider tells Us.

“William and Kate are homebodies, so their date nights tend to be chill,” the source adds. “They'll watch Netflix and documentaries when the children are in bed, order takeout, play Scrabble and enjoy a few glasses of wine. For them, it's the simple things in life that count.”

Though the former RAF pilot isn’t likely to make a reservation at a buzzy restaurant, the insider notes that it’s not because he isn’t romantic.

While William can’t stop gushing about his wife’s impeccable skills as a mother, he recently joked that he’s not sure he wants to add a fourth child to the family. When Kate cradled a baby at a January visit to a hospital in England, the prince quipped to the staff, “Don’t give my wife any more ideas!”

After the duchess returned the little girl to her parents, William joked to his wife, “Don’t take her with you!”

Josh Duggar’s Child Pornography Sentencing Hearing Set for April

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 03:53 PM PST

One day after news broke that Josh Duggar was arrested in Arkansas, Us Weekly confirmed that he was indicted on child pornography charges.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Western District of Arkansas revealed the nature of the charges in a press release on April 30, 2021.

"A Springdale man was arrested yesterday for receiving and possessing material depicting the sexual abuse of children," the release began. "According to court documents, Joshua James Duggar, 33, allegedly used the internet to download child sexual abuse material. Duggar allegedly possessed this material, some of which depicts the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, in May 2019."

Josh, the eldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, was detained without bond. The news came days after his wife, Anna Duggar, announced that the pair are expecting their seventh child.

"It's a GIRL!!!!!" Anna wrote via Instagram on April 24. "We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way and we can't wait to hold her in our arms this fall!"

The twosome, who wed in 2008, share six kids: Mackynzie (born October 2009), Michael (June 2011), Marcus (June 2013), Meredith (July 2015), Mason (September 2017) and Maryella (November 2019)

Josh is no stranger to controversy. Back in 2015, he made headlines when resurfaced court documents revealed he molested five girls — four of which were related to him — between 2002 and 2003. He was 14 and 15 years old at the time.

"Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends," he said in a statement via Facebook at the time. "We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life."

Josh and Anna's marriage hit another rough patch that August after his Ashley Madison account was revealed. He subsequently sought treatment and the couple began counseling.

"Since the residential treatment program ended, we have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing," Josh and Anna wrote in a statement in March 2016. “As the future unfolds, we are taking one day at a time and we are grateful for your continued prayers for both of us and our sweet children."

Anna has yet to publicly comment on her husband's recent arrest. Scroll through for everything we know about the case so far:

Josh is currently being held without bond, but he can request to be released during a May 5 hearing. “I will also advise you that any proposed third-party custodian, it would need to be in a residence, where there are no minors in the home,” the judge told Josh and his lawyer on April 30. “So, you all would need to be looking for somebody that will ensure compliance with conditions of release and can ensure to the court that there are no minors in the home, or that would be visiting unsupervised.” Courtesy Josh Duggar/Twitter
The Charges
“Duggar is charged by indictment with receiving and possessing child pornography,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s press release read. If he’s found guilty, the reality TV personality faces up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines for each count. Courtesy Josh Duggar/Twitter
The Family Reaction
“We appreciate your continued prayers for our family at this time,” Jim Bob and Michelle said in a statement to Us via their family rep on April 30. “The accusations brought against Joshua today are very serious. It is our prayer that the truth, no matter what it is, will come to light, and that this will all be resolved in a timely manner. We love Josh and Anna and continue to pray for their family.” Josh’s sister Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, who aren’t on the best terms with the family, released a statement of their own, reading, "We just found out this information yesterday. It is very sad." Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo later took to Instagram to react: “We are disturbed to hear of the charges against Josh. "While this case must go through the legal system, we want to make it clear that we absolutely condemn any form of child abuse and fully support authorities and judicial process in their pursuit of justice." Courtesy Josh Duggar/Twitter
May Hearing
Josh was granted a release on bond for May 6 following his May 5 virtual hearing. The judge, however, stated that he could not return home because there are “six minor children that live in your house.” His other release conditions include unlimited contact with his kids as long as his wife is present. The reality star cannot be around any other children, however, and will be monitored via GPS whenever he leaves the home confinement at pastor Lacount Reber and Maria Reber's home, where he is staying. He can go to church, work, legal appointments and receive medical care. Courtesy of Anna Duggar/Instagram
Bump in the Road
Josh’s attorney filed a motion on June 17, asking for his trial to be pushed from its July 2021 start to February 2022, claiming it will take that long for their forensic expert to go through the devices that contain evidence pertaining to the case. The lawyer also claimed that Josh’s team did not receive some of the additional discovery files from prosecutors, including reports from outside investigators who are also involved in the case, which they will need time to review before going to court. “Remarkably, the Government also recently disclosed — for the first time and only by way of a screenshot of an unidentified database — that two other Arkansas state law enforcement agencies allegedly participated in this investigation at least in a minimal capacity,” the attorney wrote in the court documents obtained by Us. “The search warrant applications make no reference to these agencies, the Special Agent’s testimony at the detention hearing made no mention of these agencies, and the remainder of the discovery does not reveal which agencies participated and what, if anything, these agencies did.” Patsy Lynch/Shutterstock
The Extension
Documents obtained by Us in June 2021 confirmed that a judge signed off on Josh's request to move the trial date back — but only by four months. Pretrial proceedings were rescheduled to November 18, 2021, with the trial beginning on November 30. Courtesy of Anna Duggar/Instagram
Next Steps
Josh's lawyers filed a motion to dismiss two of the charges against him — including one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography — claiming in August 2021 court docs that prosecutors failed to preserve evidence that could potentially prove his innocence. Another motion requested to dismiss the indictment because two acting secretaries at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security had not been officially appointed at the time of Josh's investigation. Evidence Ruling
In September 2021, federal prosecutors filed a response to the defendant’s motion one month prior, in which Josh’s legal team asked a judge to suppress “photographs law enforcement took of Duggar’s hands and feet while requiring him to pose for the photographs in custody.” His attorneys are claiming that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigators did not have a warrant, so they should not have been allowed to take those pictures. However, the federal prosecutors on the case claimed in their September filing that there is no basis for a judge to dismiss the case against the TV personality or suppress any evidence, including photos of his hands taken during his arrest. "While the defendant was being processed as he was taken into custody, a special agent with the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations (‘HIS’) asked the defendant if he could photograph the defendant’s hands. The defendant expressly consented to having the photographs taken,” the filing states. “At no time during this process did the special agent or any other law enforcement officers involved in the processing of the defendant raise their voice at him, intimidate him, or verbally or physically threaten him. The photographs document a scar on the defendant’s hand, which is plainly visible. Law enforcement observed the same scar in images recovered from the defendant’s electronic devices seized pursuant to a search warrant in this case." A court hearing has been set for October 4, 2021, where both sides can discuss the various motions that Josh and his legal team filed to suppress evidence, including the pictures that investigators took at the time of his arrest. YouTube
Motions Denied
In September 2021, a judge denied four of Josh’s five motions in the child pornography case, including the motion to suppress statements that the TV personality allegedly made to federal agents during the investigation. The defense’s motion to dismiss the case entirely was also denied, as was their attempt to suppress photographs taken of their client’s hands and feet at the time of his arrest. The motion to dismiss the indictment because of who was in charge of the Department of Homeland Security at the time was also rejected. The fifth motion, which is tied to suppressing evidence, hasn’t been ruled on by a judge. ABC 40/29/YouTube
Keeping the Past in the Past?
After the prosecution filed a motion to include evidence from Josh’s previous molestation scandal in the trial in November 2021, his legal team filed paperwork of their own to attempt to prevent his past from being brought up in the case, according to reports. Patsy Lynch/Shutterstock
The Trial Begins
On November 30, Josh reported to court in Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the start of his trial after the judge agreed to delay it by four months. His wife, Anna, accompanied him, and they walked into the building hand in hand alongside his legal team. One day earlier, Jim Bob testified on behalf of Josh at an evidentiary hearing about whether the prosecution could mention his past molestation scandal during the trial.  According to E! News, “longtime family friend” Bobye Holt claimed to the judge that Josh told her he “inappropriately touched the vagina of” a girl in March 2003 and had been “touching the breasts and vaginal areas” of three other girls “both over and under their clothes for years.” During his testimony, Holt told the judge that Josh allegedly confessed to him because "he was courting her daughter and that their relationship would have to end as a result of his conduct." Holt also alleged that Josh “told her that he had digitally penetrated” one of the victims years after his initial confession in 2003. Courtesy of Anna Duggar/Instagram
The Jury
After questioning 52 potential jurors, 12 people (plus four alternates) were selected for Josh’s trial. One of the men questioned (and dismissed) identified himself as the father of one of Josh’s brothers’ wives. Danny Johnston/AP/Shutterstock

Convicted
On December 9, Josh was convicted on two charges of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material after a six-day trial. His sentencing will occur at a later date. Ahead of the jury deliberation, Josh's brother-in-law Derick tweeted, "Praying for justice this morning." News Licensing / MEGA
Jail Cell Change
One day after his conviction, Us confirmed that Josh was moved to solitary confinement due to safety reasons. He will be kept away from fellow inmates as he awaits his sentencing. MEGA
No Conjugal Visits
As Josh awaits sentencing, he will not be permitted conjugal visits with his wife, Anna, because Arkansas does not allow private visits between spouses in state-run jails. If he is sentenced to federal prison in 2022, he will not be allowed conjugal visits there either. According to the Bureau of Prisons website, conjugal visits are not permitted in any BOP facility.  Courtesy of Anna Duggar/Instagram

Shanna Moakler and Matthew Rondeau's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 03:26 PM PST

Closing the door on romance? Shanna Moakler and Matthew Rondeau have had fair share of ups and downs since they started dating in 2020.

After Moakler’s ex-husband Travis Barker‘s romance with Kourtney Kardashian made headlines, the former Playboy model opened up about her own love life.

“I’m with my boyfriend, Matthew. I’m super happy. We’re in such a great place and the things that I create with him, I’m not recycling from my past relationship,” the Rhode Island native exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2021, noting that she believed Barker was taking inspiration from their past throughout his relationship with Kardashian.

Moakler, who was married to the Blink-182 drummer from 2004 to 2008, explained at the time that she was more worried about how Barker’s actions would affect their kids: son Landon and daughter Alabama.

“I think it’s in poor taste to have your new girlfriend sit there while you put a skull and cross bones over my name and post it,” Moakler, who is also the mother of daughter Atiana with ex Oscar De La Hoya, shared. “But why post about it if you’re not trying to shade me? And then, of course, you know, my kids see that. They see their father basically insulting their mother, you know?”

That same month, the reality star’s children voiced their concerns about her relationship with Rondeau.

“Matthew is nothing but awful to her. Not only that, but he cheats on her,” Alabama claimed in an Instagram Story in May 2021, later adding that she didn’t feel close to her mother.

Moakler, for her part, shut down her daughter’s allegations, telling Us it was “heartbreaking” to see Alabama’s posts about the poker player. “What mother wants to have their child upset with them? What mother wants to hear their children say such horrible things?" she added, alleging that the teens were “being influenced” by “very manipulative” people in their lives.

Two months later, Rondeau confirmed that he and Moakler had called it quits.

“I broke up with Shanna months ago, and I’m happier than I have ever been,” he told Life & Style in July 2021. “I’m focusing truly on finding myself again as a person emotionally and mentally. I hope she finds what she’s looking for, but it’s not going to be me.”

Their breakup didn’t last long, however, as Us confirmed in October 2021 that the pair were giving their relationship another try.

"Shanna and Matthew have always been off and on, but they're in a really great place now," a source exclusively told Us. "He has been her confidant during this rough time in her life and they've been having a lot of fun together. They seem to be very happy together and Shanna's friends are thrilled she has love in her life."

Things took a turn for the twosome when Moakler joined the cast of Celebrity Big Brother in February 2022. While the CBS personality was discussing how much she missed her boyfriend, Rondeau made headlines when Teddi Mellencamp claimed she had received shady DMs from him about his girlfriend.

Before Moakler was evicted from the reality competition in February 2022 — and before the pair unfollowed each other on social media — a source informed Us that she would be “completely blindsided” by Rondeau’s actions once she was back in the real world. The insider also alleged that Rondeau was jealous of Moakler’s connection with fellow houseguest Lamar Odom.

"I don't have any feelings toward either one of them, like, I'm not jealous of them [Travis and Kourtney], I don't think about them. Like, I'm in a relationship with Matthew and we're doing our own thing," Moakler told Us, referring to her ex-husband's PDA with his now-fiancée. "If they want to run off into the sunset, like, by all means, but you know, don't alienate my children in the process."   Courtesy of Shanna Moakler/Instagram
July 2021
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rondeau confirmed his split from Moakler after removing photos of her from his social media feed.  "I broke up with Shanna months ago," he explained in July 2021. "It is disappointing things couldn't work out between us two, but sometimes love isn't enough. ... Making that decision to have us move on and go our separate ways was not easy, but I know it was the right decision. And overall, beneficial for the both of us." Moakler didn't publicly react to the breakup, but she did share a quote via Instagram, which read, "Women don't even trip after breakups anymore. They just boss up, change that hair style, and forget you ever existed." Courtesy of Matthew Rondeau/Instagram

Following Mellencamp's departure from Celebrity Big Brother, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum called out her former housemate's man. “Shanna’s boyfriend, who I didn’t tag in any posts, slid into my DMs as well,” Mellencamp said on an episode of her and Tamra Judge’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast in February 2022. “Let’s just say, Shanna, when you get out of the house, if he hasn’t told you anything, you need to call me girl." The accountability coach clarified that Rondeau didn't try to hit on her. However, Mellencamp hinted that she received some negative messages from the actor about Moakler.   Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock; Courtesy of Matthew Rondeau/Instagram

Before Moakler was voted off CBB, Rondeau raised eyebrows when he unfollowed her on Instagram and removed all their photos.  "When she comes out of the house, she's in for a wakeup call," an insider told Us, adding that Rondeau "causes a lot of drama" in their relationship. "They were headed toward an engagement but now can be headed towards a split." Moakler unfollowed Rondeau later that month.  Courtesy of Shanna Moakler/Instagram

Wendy Williams Assures Fans She’s 'Of Sound Mind' Amid Talk Show Drama

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 02:58 PM PST

How she doin'? Through the years, Wendy Williams has made headlines for much more than just her brutally honest opinions and on-air spats with her A-list interviewees.

The talk show host, who was once dubbed "New York's Shock Jockette" during her radio days, has found herself face-to-face with numerous health and personal struggles. She was addicted to cocaine for a decade in the beginning of her career, and more recently has battled Graves' disease, hyperthyroidism and other physical ailments.

Williams' marriage has also been a hot topic (no pun intended). For years, she has weathered allegations that her now-ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, was living a double life and had been unfaithful to her. After the TV producer welcomed a baby with another woman in March 2019, Williams finally pulled the plug on their 21-year marriage. The former couple finalized their divorce in January 2020.

The following year, Williams opened up about where she stood with Hunter, telling Extra, “He calls from time to time. … I don’t block his number though, he’s my son [Kevin Jr.’s] father.”

The pair’s ups and downs were explored in Williams’ Lifetime biopic, Wendy Williams: The Movie, which aired in January 2021. A documentary titled Wendy Williams: What a Mess accompanied the movie. While speaking with the Los Angeles Times about the two films, the Masked Singer alum referred to them as a “breakup project.”

She explained in January 2021, “I’m 56 years old. My breakup project is not destroying my ex-husband. I don’t regret meeting him. We fell in love almost instantly. We’ve been through a lot. … I have no regrets about marrying him, and I have no regrets about divorcing him.”

The New Jersey native asserted at the time that she had “outgrown” the relationship regardless of reported scandals. “That's the best way I can describe it,” she said. “And I’ve accepted my growth as opposed to fighting it.”

Williams didn’t want either movie to hold back about her past — even the most troubling parts. Viewers learned that she is the survivor of sexual assault and got a more in-depth look at her struggles with substance abuse. The Dancing With the Stars alum also recalled receiving “endless calls” with supportive messages about her prior miscarriages, which she experienced before welcoming her son in 2000.

“You’d be surprised how many women opened up and said, ‘Oh, my gosh, Wendy, that happened to me,'” she told the newspaper. “I would get stopped in the streets. … It really became very soothing for me to feel like my loss was able to help other people not feel embarrassed, not feel ugly or less than a woman.”

Take a look back with Us Weekly at some of the Ask Wendy author's personal woes.

Hunter's Affair Rumors
In September 2017, the Daily Mail published photos of Hunter hanging out with a woman named Sharina Hudson in New Jersey. The U.K. newspaper claimed that he had purchased a home for the massage therapist just nine miles down the road from the house he shared with Williams. The report further alleged that Hunter and Hudson had been romantically involved for more than 10 years. The next morning, Williams said on The Wendy Williams Show that she will “stand by my guy” and assured viewers not to “believe the hype.” Johnny Nunez/WireImage
Fainting on Live TV
The Emmy nominee fainted on air in October 2017 while wearing a Statue of Liberty costume for Halloween. Producers rushed to her rescue when she collapsed to the floor as the broadcast cut to a commercial break. The host returned minutes later, explaining that she simply “overheated in my costume.”
Flu Scare
Williams was forced to cancel three episodes of her syndicated show during the week of Valentine’s Day in February 2018 after experiencing flu-like symptoms. She noted on Instagram that she had not taken “a sick day EVER in over 25 years,” and returned as promised the following Monday. Manny Hernandez/Getty Images
Graves' Disease and Thyroid Issues
The former radio host took three weeks off from The Wendy Williams Show from late February to mid-March 2018 due to issues with Graves’ disease and hyperthyroidism. “Wendy’s doctor prescribed a necessary three weeks of rest to get her levels and medication in sync,” a rep for the show told Us. Cocaine Confession
To celebrate her “Be Here” national campaign with The Hunter Foundation, Williams reflected upon her decade-long battle with cocaine addiction during a July 2018 interview. “I was a functioning addict,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “They wouldn’t fire me because I was making ratings. … It’s a miracle I was able to stop.” Ilya S. Savenok/Getty Images for Wilhelmina Models
Shoulder Fracture
The fashion designer suffered a “hair fracture on my right shoulder” in mid-December 2018, but she soldiered on. She hid her sling under her clothes on air while announcing to viewers, “I don’t need an operation, and I’m not wearing a hard cast. … The show will go on!”
Slurring Her Words
Viewers expressed concern on social media after Williams slurred her words during a December 2018 episode of her show. She acknowledged her behavior was “less than stellar” and explained that she usually tries to avoid taking pain medication. “I really do ride or die for my craft and give 200 percent,” she insisted. Her health complications proved to be too much to handle though, and she repeatedly delayed her return to the show to focus on her well-being. “The struggle of being the main centerpiece of the show, day in and out, while fighting Graves’ disease has been a real battle,” a source told Us before Williams’ March 2019 return. More Hunter Cheating Rumors
As some skeptics continued to question the status of Williams and Hunter’s marriage, she addressed the speculation head-on. “I want to shout out my husband. I am still wearing my ring,” she said on TV in March 2019. “When you’ve been with somebody for 28 years, married for 25 … we know each other. He is my best friend, my lover. … I know what you’ve been saying and I know what the streets have been talking about. … I’m still very much in love with my husband.” Lev Radin/Pacific Press/LightRocket via Getty Images
Sober Living House
The TV personality revealed in March 2019 that she has been staying at a sober living house and has a 24-hour coach. “When you see me come to work glammed up, right after the show I go across the street, I do my Pilates. I told you — two hours a day or [so], to take care of my body,” she told viewers. “I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment. I don’t know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped.” Gary Gershoff/WireImage

Divorce Filing
A source confirmed to Us on April 11, 2019, that Williams filed for divorce from Hunter after more than 21 years of marriage. They finalized the case the following January. Jennifer Graylock/WireImage.com
Another Break
Williams announced in May 2020 that her talk show was going on hiatus again. “Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves’ disease which is causing fatigue. In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment,” a spokesperson from The Wendy Williams Show said in a statement to Us. Gregory Pace/Shutterstock
Season 13 Delay
In September 2021, the host was forced to delay the start of the 13th season of her show not once, but twice. After testing positive for COVID-19, The Wendy Williams Show announced in a statement at the time that the premiere date would be moved from September 19, 2021, to October 4, 2021, to “allow Wendy time to quarantine and fully recover.” The announcement came after reports that Williams would be unable to take part in promotion of the season due to “ongoing health issues.” At the end of the month, the show announced via Instagram that the premiere date would again be pushed back to October 18, 2021, explaining that Williams “continues to be under a doctor's care and is still not ready to return to work.” The statement continued that her breakthrough case of coronavirus was “no longer an issue,” but she was still dealing with lingering unspecified health issues. MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Further Delays
As Williams continued to recover amid ongoing health concerns, a slate of guest hosts were tapped to take her place on The Wendy Williams Show throughout November 2021. "The Wendy Williams Show is excited to announce that actor and comedian and good friend to the show, @michaelrapaport, will be guest hosting the week of November 8th,” according to a post via the show’s official Instagram page on November 3. “The following week kicks off with an all-new hot talk panel on Monday, November 15th. Then, actor and comedian @BillBellamy will take the reins on Tuesday, November 16th and Wednesday, November 17th. Later that week, legendary talk show host @judgejerrytv and fellow daytime host @thestevewilkosshow will be filling in on Thursday, November 18th and Friday, November 19th.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Another Obstacle
In February 2022, Us confirmed that Williams won't be returning to her talk show for the rest of season 13. Amid the news, Williams' bank Wells Fargo referred to her as an “incapacitated person.” According to Page Six, the bank sent a letter to New York Supreme Court Judge Arlene Bluth requesting a hearing on the basis that Williams might need guardianship to help handle her finances. The talk show host's attorney Celeste N. McCaw filed an emergency petition ahead of the bank's statement, claiming Wells Fargo had denied Williams access to her assets. Shanna Moakler Unfollows BF Matthew Rondeau After 'Big Brother' Eviction

Trouble in paradise? Shanna Moakler is back in the real world after her Celebrity Big Brother elimination — and is seemingly cutting ties with boyfriend Matthew Rondeau.

The model, 46, left the CBS reality competition during the Monday, February 14, episode, and eagle-eyed fans noticed one day later that Moakler is no longer following Rondeau, 29, on Instagram. However, the former beauty queen still has photos of the actor on her feed.

Viewers saw Moakler gush over her relationship with Rondeau to the cameras before her exit from the Big Brother house, but fellow competitor Teddi Mellencamp hinted that things were not as they seemed with the couple.

“Shanna’s boyfriend, who I didn’t tag in any posts, slid into my DMs as well,” the Bravo personality, 40, claimed on her “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast earlier this month after she was the first houseguest kicked off of Celebrity Big Brother. “Let’s just say, Shanna, when you get out of the house, if he hasn’t told you anything, you need to call me, girl.”

When cohost Tamra Judge asked Mellencamp whether Rondeau tried to shoot his shot in her DMs, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum replied, “He was not hitting on me.” However, the lifestyle brand owner implied that Rondeau made disparaging comments about Moakler.

“I said, ‘Oh, Shanna, had I known you were going to vote me out, I wouldn’t have left you my hat.’ Obviously joking. It’s a beanie cap, I don’t care. It’s my bad attempt at humor,” Mellencamp recalled. “But he wrote, ‘You’ll never see that hat again,’ and then something negative about her. … Now I have a little bit [of] additional concerns for Shanna.”

The Indiana native formed a close bond with Moakler during her brief time on the Big Brother spinoff. “I’ll still talk to her because I know she’s playing the game hard because her family and her life,” Mellencamp exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “And, you know, she’s been wronged a lot of times, and I ultimately have empathy for her.”

The former Miss Teen USA shares son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16, with ex-husband Travis Barker, who’s currently engaged to Kourtney Kardashian. Moakler is also the mother of daughter Atiana, 22, with ex Oscar De La Hoya. While costar Lamar Odom hasn’t shied away from talking about the Kardashians on the reality series, Moakler took a different approach.

“[Shanna] has to bite her lips sometimes and is definitely careful about what she says and mindful of what can happen as a result,” a source exclusively told Us. “Her kids are very close to Travis so she wouldn’t want to say something that would hurt them and cause their relationship to get strained again.”

When it comes to Rondeau, however, things could potentially get rocky. “Shanna is going to be completely blindsided once she comes out of the house and finds out what Matthew has been up to,” a second insider told Us. “When she comes out of the house, she’s in for a wakeup call. … They were headed toward an engagement but now can be headed toward a split.”

Celebrity Big Brother airs on CBS Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. ET and Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.

Shanna Moakler’s Dating History: From Dennis Quaid to Travis Barker

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 01:59 PM PST

Lucky in love? Shanna Moakler has sparked romance rumors with several men over the years, and she has preferred to be honest when it comes to her love life.

Moakler was linked to Billy Idol in 1997 and years later, she looked back on their relationship fondly.

“He’s not too sweet and sensitive. But he’s a gentleman. He’s got a great mind for history, loves to talk about philosophy, and he is very intelligent. He’s got a kid and is a great father,” she reflected during an interview with ESPN in 2001 about the musician.

Following her split from the rocker, the former reality TV star sparked romance rumors with Oscar De La Hoya in October 1997 and they got engaged one year later. The twosome welcomed daughter Atiana in March 1999, but they called it quits the following year. In December 2020, Moakler sued De La Hoya for $62.5 million, and the case was settled out of court.

Since then, the exes have gotten to a better place as they continue to coparent their child together.

“He and I are super close,” Moakler told Entertainment Tonight in March 2021. “We’re really good friends, and I just think he’s great.”

The model moved on with Dennis Quaid for eight months in 2001 before she met her future husband, Travis Barker.

Moakler and Barker tied the knot in October 2004. They welcomed their son, Landon, in October 2003 and their daughter, Alabama, in December 2005. The family was featured in their own reality show, Meet the Barkers, from 2005 to 2006 before the pair split up following two years of marriage.

Barker claimed that their time on TV caused a shift for Moakler.

"I felt like having the reality show changed Shanna's character. Shanna wanted to be an actress, and I felt she started doing things just for the cameras — for attention, or maybe it was just her dramatic personality," the Blink-182 musician recalled in his 2015 book, Can I Say. "It was turning into a variety show instead of a reality show — and in my mind, she was behaving out of character on camera, which was carrying over to her not being genuine with me."

The estranged spouses continued to have an on-and-off relationship until they officially got divorced in 2008. Years later, their custody battle turned messy until a court sealed the results of their child custody order in 2018.

Moakler went on to find love with Matthew Rondeau in 2020 while Barker started dating Kourtney Kardashian. Although the former Miss USA supported her ex-husband’s romance at first, she later claimed he was recycling from their past marriage and was worried about her bond with her kids as a result.

“The Kardashians are buying my kids Prada every other day,” Moakler told Us Weekly exclusively in May 2021. “They’re going on lavish trips. They’re doing all these things, which is fine. I think it’s nice that they’re being kind to my kids. I want that for my children.”

The former Playboy playmate noted that she felt a “severe distancing” when it came to her relationship with her children.

“I don’t think it’s great when they put a wedge in between their biological mother,” she told Us.

Moakler explained that her issue with Barker’s relationship had nothing to do with their history because she was happy with Rondeau at the time.

“I’m with my boyfriend, Matthew. I’m super happy. We’re in such a great place and the things that I create with him, I’m not recycling from my past relationship,” she added at the time.

Two months later, Rondeau confirmed that they had broken up after fans noticed that the pair wiped each other from their respective social media pages.

“I broke up with Shanna months ago,” he told Entertainment Tonight in July 2021. “It is disappointing things couldn’t work out between us two, but sometimes love isn’t enough… making that decision to have us move on and go our separate ways was not easy, but I know it was the right decision. And overall, beneficial for the both of us.”

Although Moakler didn’t comment on the split at the time, she did hint at how she was doing on social media.

“Women don’t even trip after breakups anymore. They just boss up, change that hair style, and forget you ever existed,” read a quote that Moakler posted via her Instagram Story one day after the news broke.

Us confirmed that the pair rekindled their romance in October 2021, days after Moakler shared a sweet photo booth collage with Rondeau via Instagram Story.

“It’s certainly a relationship that can lead to an engagement in the near future," a source exclusively told Us at the time. "They have great chemistry and enjoy doing a lot of the same things like laying by the pool or working out together. He’ll go out of his way to travel across the country to be there for her and her family and she’ll drop whatever she has scheduled to be by his side in dire situations."

The exes, who were married from 2004 to 2008, had their ups and downs as they tried to focus on coparenting for their children. Unfortunately, things took a turn when Barker started dating Kardashian and Moakler chose to make drastic changes. "Shanna is scoping out auction houses to auction off sentimental things that Travis has gotten her when they were together," a source exclusively told Us in July. "She wants to sell her engagement ring." The insider noted at the time that their coparenting relationship had "hit rock bottom." "She wants to get rid of everything that reminds her of him and reminds her of the happier times," the source added.   Matt Baron/Shutterstock

Moakler was on and off with the Rondeau from 2020 to 2021. In July 2021, the model confirmed that he and the actress ended things. "I broke up with Shanna months ago, and I'm happier than I have ever been," he told Life & Style. "I'm focusing truly on finding myself again as a person emotionally and mentally. I hope she finds what she's looking for, but it's not going to be me." Us confirmed in October 2021 that the pair got back together. “Shanna and Matthew have always been off and on, but they’re in a really great place now,” a source exclusively told Us. “He has been her confidant during this rough time in her life and they’ve been having a lot of fun together. They seem to be very happy together and Shanna’s friends are thrilled she has love in her life.” The pair's relationship took a turn when Moakler entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in February 2022. That same month, her former housemate Teddi Mellencamp claimed that Rondeau DMed her shady comments about Moakler. "Shanna is going to be completely blindsided once she comes out of the house and finds out what Matthew has been up to," a source told Us after fans noticed that the actor unfollowed his girlfriend on social media ahead of her eviction on the CBS series. "They were headed toward an engagement but now can be headed toward a split." An unexpected reunion. Lala Kent and Randall Emmett may have celebrated Super Bowl Sunday separately, but the exes ended up crossing paths for the first time publicly since their split.

“It was like they didn’t know they would be at the same party and ran into each other and couldn’t avoid each other because they were in the same VIP section,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly about the “brief” interaction on Saturday, February 12.

According to the insider, Kent, 31, and Emmett, 50, were “in good spirits” amid the festivities but seemingly “felt obligated to say hi to each other” because of their history. The run-in occurred at Sports Illustrated‘s “The Party” presented by ABG, Talent Resources and Resorts World.

“Others definitely picked up on the fact that they were at the same party, especially since their split was so public,” the source adds, noting that the beauty mogul was joined by her former Vanderpump Rules costar Brittany Cartwright. Kent’s rep denied that the interaction happened.

Meanwhile, the director spent time at the event with Migos and his friends. Emmett’s ex-wife, Ambyr Childers, also made an appearance but didn’t interact with the film producer or the reality star.

Kent took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, February 15, to compliment Childers, 33, on her look at the event, writing, “It’s all too good.”

The Utah native originally went public with Emmett in 2018 after his divorce from the You alum was finalized. Kent and Emmett announced their engagement that same year, they later postponed their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In March 2021, the twosome welcomed their daughter, Ocean.

The Give Them Lala author sparked split speculation in October 2021 when she removed all traces of her then-fiancé from her social media feed. One month later, Us confirmed that Kent and Emmett had called it quits.

“Randall did not want to split but it was Lala’s decision. The trust is gone,” an insider exclusively shared with Us at the time. “He’s been trying to win her back. … For now, she’s not wearing her ring and she’s truly focused on her daughter and her projects. She’s trying to keep everything private.”

Following the split, the Row actress revealed that she felt "disposable" as she adjusted to the major life change.

"Every day I find out something new that makes me feel [like], 'Lala you were so disposable the whole time. You meant nothing. … You were a possession, a shiny object and nothing more.’ And I have to be OK with that," she said during her “Give Them Lala” podcast in December 2021. "To learn the things that I learn and try my best to just keep my f–king mouth shut for my daughter, not say a word about what I know, it can become torturous. And I have to sit and say, 'The universe will do its thing.'"

Kent recently opened up about how her relationship with Emmett shaped the way she approaches dating. The Florida native, for his part, has not publicly commented on the split.

"I will never welcome someone into my life again without a full background check, and I mean in-depth," Kent explained during an Amazon Live chat on February 8. "I got to see what your credit is. I need to know your family history. I need to know everything you've been involved with. I'm going deep.”

The singer noted that the decision to hire a professional may have come from her being “damaged” by her ex, saying, "This could be the trauma — I don't remember anything about my relationship. I don't remember any good moments. I can only remember the demise of it, so maybe that's my mind trying to protect me. Back to the lighter part of it: He made it easy, trust me. Wasn't much to miss."

Dolly Parton Marks Valentine's Day With Rare Photo of Husband Carl Dean

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 01:01 PM PST

Her best-kept secret. Dolly Parton and her husband, Carl Dean, have been married for more than 50 years, but they’re rarely seen together — and that’s just the way they like it.

The country icon first met her future spouse when she moved to Nashville in 1964 to start her music career. They tied the knot within two years of meeting each other, but as Parton’s star rose, Dean kept to himself. Eventually, fans started to wonder if the “Jolene” singer’s husband even existed.

“He just don’t have any desire to be in show business,” the Tennessee native told Playboy in October 1978. “He don’t want to have his picture in the paper. He don’t want to go out to the supermarket and have people say, ‘That’s Dolly Parton’s husband.'”

Though the Grammy winner — the fourth of 12 children — grew up in a huge family, she and Dean never had any kids of their own. Parton, however, is known for her Imagination Library charity, which has sent more than 100 million free books to young children since she founded it in 1995.

“God has a plan for everything,” the 9 to 5 actress explained during an October 2017 interview with the Today show. “I think it probably was his plan for me not to have kids so everybody’s kids could be mine. And they are now.”

To hear Parton tell it, she and Dean have still managed to have plenty of fun as a twosome over the years. “We take off in our camper or go to our lake house,” the music superstar wrote in her 1994 memoir, Dolly: My Life and Other Unfinished Business. “We might go on a picnic somewhere, and then decide to stay overnight. Then we’ll go to a ‘drive up to your room’ motel.”

In May 2016, the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, and Dean released a rare statement about his famous wife. “My first thought was, ‘I’m gonna marry that girl,'” he recalled of his first encounter with Parton. “My second thought was, ‘Lord, she's good-lookin.’ And that was the day my life began. I wouldn’t trade the last 50 years for nothing on this earth.”

The duo also commemorated the occasion by renewing their vows in a private ceremony in Nashville. “If I had it to do all over, I’d do it all over again, and we did,” Parton said at the time. “I’m dragging him kicking and screaming into the next 50 years. Wish us luck.”

Keep scrolling for a look back at Parton and Dean’s romance:

1964
The day after graduating from high school, Parton moved to Nashville from her hometown of Sevierville to pursue her singing career. That same day, she met Dean outside the Wishy Washy Laundromat. "I guess kind of in the back of my mind I was maybe flirtin' a little," she recalled in a 1970 interview with The Tennesseean. "But mainly I was just bein' friendly because I'd always been the kind of person who would speak back and smile."  Moviestore/Shutterstock

The duo tied the knot in a ceremony attended only by Parton, her mother, Dean, the preacher and his wife. "I like the way he loves me," Parton told Playboy of her husband in 1978. "His understanding of me and the things I do. The way he lets me be free. And lets me be me."  Moviestore/Shutterstock
January 1979
While interviewing Parton for a profile, a Cosmopolitan reporter finally caught a glimpse of Dean. "Tall and good-looking, rather like a young Gregory Peck, he has a way of moving his angular body so that he seems to come toward you in sections," the article read. "He is a fan of television and nightclub comic Steve Martin."  Anonymous/AP/Shutterstock

The "Eagle When She Flies" songstress opened up about her relationship with Dean in a candid interview with Playgirl, saying that the pair "never" argue. "Sometimes we'll get a little touchy if we're tired or aggravated," she explained. "We never put ourselves in a situation where we bicker back and forth."  Barr/Mediapunch/Shutterstock

Parton explained that she keeps Dean out of the spotlight because he would "never get a minute’s peace" if he accompanied her in public. “He's right about that,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s just not who he is. He’s, like, a quiet, reserved person.” Courtesy of Dolly Parton/Instagram
December 2020
During an episode of the "Table Manners With Jessie Ware" podcast, Parton joked that she and her husband may finally have tired of one another after nearly 60 years together. “I’m sure he’s sick of me,” she quipped. “My husband and I have been together for 57 years, been married 54, and I’m sick of him.” Mark J Terrill/AP/Shutterstock
July 2021
After joking that she wanted to pose for Playboy again for her 75th birthday, Parton recreated her Playboy cover for Dean's birthday. “My husband always loved the original cover of Playboy, so I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy," she said in an Instagram video that showed her dressed in bunny ears and a bowtie. "He still thinks I’m a hot chick after 57 years — and I’m not going to try to talk him out of that." Courtesy of Dolly Parton/Twitter

In and Out of the Ring! Cody Rhodes, Wife Brandi’s Relationship Timeline

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 01:00 PM PST

Partners in and out of the ring! Cody Rhodes and his wife, Brandi Rhodes, became wrestling royalty after tying the knot in 2013 — and they later teamed up as fighters.

While the duo met back in 2011 while working at WWE, it wasn't until a spooky date night that Brandi knew the six-time tag team championship winner was The One.

"Cody and I had a connection pretty quickly. We were engaged pretty quickly, but my moment where I knew this was definitely the person for me was when Cody asked me on a date to Halloween Horror Night at Universal Studios," she told Sports Illustrated in September 2016. "Nobody had ever asked me on a date to Halloween Horror Night, and I had never been even though I am a horror fanatic."

The WAGS Atlanta alum recalled going to "all the haunted houses that [she could] get [her] hands on" while growing up in Michigan, but she'd never been to the annual event.

"I had wanted to go to Halloween Horror Night for years, but no one was ever interested. That was our second or third date, and that's the moment I realized that that was the best thing to happen in a while," Brandi continued. "We made a weekend of it, had the best time ever, and now we go back every year. It's kind of our place. I think it was pretty mutual that that was our place."

As their relationship grew, so did their fame in the wrestling world. The couple helped launch All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2019. One year later, they revealed that they were expanding their family.

Shortly after becoming first-time parents in June 2021, the TV personalities exclusively told Us Weekly how their romance had shifted. Brandi explained in September 2021 that during the beginning of their daughter Liberty's life, Cody was away a lot filming his Go-Big Show. The distance, however, helped them as a family.

"If he would have been in the house, I would have probably been, you know, throwing dishes at him instead," she teased. "I was appreciative of him because I thought, you know, 'I wish that he was here.' … I feel like a lot of people would have been like, 'Well, I would've wanted to have my husband there.' Well, in the grand scheme [of things], yeah, I would've wanted to have him there, but I'm glad that he missed some of the ugly."

Cody, for his part, called Brandi his "ride or die," adding at the time, "We will ride together [and] succeed together. Or if we fall off, we will fall off together. … I think we've been good with each other when it comes to that."

Five months later, the pair entered another phase in their lives, announcing their joint departure from AEW.

“This is going to sound kind of crazy, but … Cody was on set for Go-Big Show for almost an entire month where he barely had the ability to see me and the baby,” Brandi exclusively told Us. “But I feel like that was [a] good thing because that was in the major part of the [transition] for me, where things were really kind of difficult for me. And I think that he would have been … on the receiving end of a lot of stuff had he been there.” The same month, Brandi told Us that she experienced postpartum depression after welcoming Liberty. Cody, for his part, told Us that he wanted to be there for his wife every step of the way. “I want to know what she’s going through. I want to be there for it,” he said. “‘Cause I don’t want to look back at this … and see that she did it all herself. … No matter how busy I get, I want to be there for all those things.” Courtesy of Brandi Rhodes/Instagram

The pair announced their departure from All Elite Wrestling after helping to create the company and its successful wrestling shows. “I have loved my time at AEW. Amazing locker room. Amazing fans. Amazing people,” Cody began his statement. “The ‘revolution’ was indeed televised, and I’ve been incredibly luck to be a part of that.” The duo also thanked one another for their support over the past few years, with Brandi calling Cody her “constant rock and partner every single day.” Courtesy of Brandi Rhodes/Instagram

Everything to Know About the Shooting on Alec Baldwin's 'Rust'

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 12:58 PM PST

While filming his movie Rust on Thursday, October 21, Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that injured the director and killed another crew member.

The incident occurred at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico. According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department, the weapon was “discharged” by the 30 Rock alum, 63, and Deadline later reported that production on the Western was paused.

“Mr. Baldwin came in voluntarily to speak with investigators,” sheriff’s office spokesman Juan Ríos noted in a statement, asserting that the situation would be treated like “any other investigation.”

Detectives were trying to determine “what type of projectile was discharged” as the set remained on lockdown. The victims — director Joel Souza and director of photography Halyna Hutchins — were rushed to receive medical attention after being struck. Hutchins, 42, was pronounced dead at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.

The 48-year-old filmmaker, for his part, was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center via helicopter. While his condition was initially unknown, Deadline was told by Souza’s rep that he was released from the hospital on Friday, October 22.

The movie’s production company, Rust Movie Productions LLC, noted in a statement regarding the accident, “The entire cast and crew has been absolutely devastated by today’s tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Halyna’s family and loved ones. We have halted production on the film for an undetermined period of time and are fully cooperating with the Santa Fe Police Department’s investigation. We will be providing counseling services to everyone connected to the film as we work to process this awful event.”

Hutchins was originally from the Ukraine and had been sharing updates about the filming process with her Instagram followers ahead of her death. “One of the perks of shooting a western is you get to ride horses on your day off:),” she captioned a video of herself on Wednesday, October 20, as she joined a group on horseback.

The Emmy winner broke his silence on Hutchins’ death on Friday via Twitter, writing, “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

Before Baldwin addressed the incident, tributes poured in for the late cinematographer.

“I’m in shock. I was so lucky to have had Halyna Hutchins as my DP on ‘Archenemy,'” Joe Manganiello tweeted. “An incredible talent & great person. I can't believe this could happen in this day and age… gunfire from a prop gun could kill a crew member? What a horrible tragedy. My heart goes out to her family.”

Ava DuVernay left a comment on casting director Sidra Smith‘s Instagram post about Hutchins, writing, “Devastating. Absolutely horrific. Blessings to you during this difficult time, Sidra. And may her soul be at rest.”

Who Is Halyna Hutchins?
Hutchins was working as director of photography on Rust and was named one of American Cinematography's "rising stars" in the profession in 2019. She previously contributed to 2019's Darlin' and 2020's Blindfire, as well as AMC's The Walking Dead. She was pronounced dead on Thursday at University of New Mexico Hospital. Who Is Joel Souza?
Souza is a California-based writer and director whose previous credits include 2015's Ghost Squad, 2017's Break Night and 2019's Crown Vic. According to Deadline, he was released from the hospital early Friday morning after sustaining injuries on set. Ron Adar/SOPA Images/Shutterstock
Were There Charges?
As of Thursday, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s office was in the midst of an "open and active" investigation, but no arrests were made. Baldwin was questioned by investigators — as were other members of the crew — but no charges were filed. Andrew H. Walker/Shutterstock
How Did Two People Get Shot?
Only one round was discharged, and it grazed Souza but hit Hutchins in her shoulder, per The Los Angeles Times. Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Why Was the Gun Loaded?
That is the question investigators are still trying to answer. The assistant director called out “cold gun” when handing Baldwin the weapon, the AD wrote in an affidavit, according to the New York Times. “Cold” means no ammunition is in the gun. The crew member “did not know live rounds were in the prop gun,” Detective Joel Cano declared in an affidavit. Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock
Why Did Crew Members Walk Off Set Earlier That Day?
The LA Times reports that several crew members walked off set to protest working conditions hours ahead of the fatal accident. They accused the production of not properly following safety protocols, including gun inspections. The workers claimed that there were two accidental gun discharges on set before, with Baldwin’s stunt double allegedly firing a gun that was announced as “cold” only to find a live round in it. “There should have been an investigation into what happened,” a crew member alleged to the LA Times. “There were no safety meetings. There was no assurance that it wouldn’t happen again. All they wanted to do was rush, rush, rush.” Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
How Are Other Sets Reacting?
Many film and TV sets are taking action and vowing not to risk having “hot” or “live” — meaning loaded — weapons on set. ABC’s police drama The Rookie has officially banned live rounds. “As of today, it is now policy on The Rookie that all gunfire on set will be with Air Soft guns with CG muzzle flashes added in post,” showrunner Alexi Hawley wrote in a memo obtained by The Hollywood Reporter on Friday, October 22. “There will be no more ‘live’ weapons on the show. The safety of our cast and crew is too important.” Amazon Prime’s The Boys, which is known for its violent action sequences, will also forgo live rounds. Showrunner Eric Kripke, who worked with Rust cast member Jensen Ackles on Supernatural and The Boys, announced the news on Friday via Twitter. “In [Hutchins’] memory, a simple, easy pledge: no more guns with blanks on any of my sets ever. We'll use VFX muzzle flashes. Who's with me?” he wrote. Eric McCandless/ABC/Kobal/Shutterstock
Has It Happened Before?
This is not the first time a prop gun has led to fatalities on a film set. In 1993, the late Brandon Lee was killed during filming for The Crow after an improperly loaded prop gun was fired. His sister, Shannon Lee, reacted to the Rust incident on Thursday. "Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on 'Rust,'" she tweeted via a memorial account set up for her brother. "No one should ever be killed by a gun on a film set. Period." Pressman/Most/Kobal/Shutterstock
Joel Souza Reacts
"I am gutted by the loss of my friend and colleague, Halyna," Souza said in a statement. "She was kind, vibrant, incredibly talented, fought for every inch and always pushed me to be better. My thoughts are with her family at this most difficult time. I am humbled and grateful by the outpouring of affection we have received from our filmmaking community, the people of Santa Fe, and the hundreds of strangers who have reached out. It will surely aid in my recovery." Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Were There Consequences?
According to Deadline, assistant director David Halls, who handed Baldwin a prop gun moments before it was discharged, was "removed from set immediately" after the accident. Producers told the outlet that an incident report was filed and a new assistant director was brought in. Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
The 'Last Photo' of Halyna Hutchins
On October 22, a Rust crewmember named Serge Svetnoy shared a photo of Hutchins that he claimed was taken shortly before the fatal shooting. “This is the last photo with Halyna on set,” he wrote via Facebook. The snapshot showed the cinematographer shooting a scene with Baldwin in a small church on the New Mexico set. Two days later, Svetnoy shared an emotional post in which he revealed that he “was holding [Hutchins] in my arms while she was dying. Her blood was on my hands,” he wrote via Facebook on October 24. In that same message, the electrician stated that, in his opinion, Hutchins’ death was “the fault of negligence and unprofessionalism.” Courtesy of Halyna Hutchins/Instagram
Evidence Recovered
Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed during a press conference on October 27 that a lead bullet was recovered from Souza’s shoulder after he was taken to the hospital. The bullet is believed to be the one that fatally struck Hutchins.  Police also collected approximately 600 items of evidence, including 500 rounds of ammunition from the set, which were a mixture of “blanks, dummy rounds and what we are suspecting were live rounds,” according to Mendoza. More Information on Crew Member Who Handled Firearms
Hannah Gutierrez Reed was the armorer — or person in charge of firearms — on the set of Rust. During a September episode of the “Voices of West” podcast, the former model admitted “the best part” of her job was “just showing people who are normally kind of freaked out by guns how safe they can be and how they’re not really problematic unless put in the wrong hands.” Reed is the daughter of longtime armorer Thell Reed, who was Brad Pitt’s shooting coach on the 2007 film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. However, the 24-year-old had only worked on one movie before landing the role of head armorer on Baldwin's western. The Hollywood rookie noted she had “figured” out most of the job's requirements on “my own” and said that “loading blanks” is the “scariest thing to me.” Jae C Hong/AP/Shutterstock
The Armorer Says She ‘Has No Idea’ Why Live Rounds Were in the Gun
Gutierrez Reed's lawyers, Jason Bowles and Robert Gorence, released a statement to Us on October 29. "First Hannah would like to extend her deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Halyna," the statement read, referring to Hutchins as "an inspirational woman in film who Hannah looked up to." The statement went on to allege that she had been "slandered" in the aftermath of the shooting. "Safety is Hannah’s number one priority on set. Ultimately this set would never have been compromised if live ammo were not introduced," the lawyers claimed on her behalf. "Hannah has no idea where the live rounds came from. Hannah and the prop master gained control over the guns and she never witnessed anyone shoot live rounds with these guns and nor would she permit that. They were locked up every night and at lunch and there’s no way a single one of them was unaccounted for or being shot by crew members. Hannah still, to this day, has never had an accidental discharge." Though there have been reports that there were two accidental discharges in other situations on set, Gutierrez Reed's lawyers allege that others were at fault. "The first one on this set was the prop master and the second was a stunt man after Hannah informed him his gun was hot with blanks," they alleged. Myung J Chun/Los Angeles Times/Shutterstock
The Armorer Wanted More Time to Prepare
Gutierrez Reed's lawyers suggested that the blame for the fatal accident lay with other filmmakers. "Hannah was hired on two positions on this film, which made it extremely difficult to focus on her job as an armorer," they said in the October 29 statement. "She fought for training, days to maintain weapons, and proper time to prepare for gunfire but ultimately was overruled by production and her department. The whole production set became unsafe due to various factors, including lack of safety meetings. This was not the fault of Hannah." Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Baldwin Says Hutchins Was a Friend
While in Vermont on October 30, Baldwin told news outlets that he couldn't say much about the incident, but he is cooperating with authorities and mourning the death of Hutchins. "I’ve been ordered by the sheriff’s department in Santa Fe, I can’t answer any questions about the investigation," Baldwin said. "I can’t — it’s an active investigation in terms of a woman died. She was my friend.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Baldwin Is Talking to Hutchins’ Family
The actor, who also produced the film, explained that he met with Hutchins' husband as well as her son to offer support. "The guy is overwhelmed with grief," Baldwin said on October 30. "There are incidental accidents on film sets from time to time but nothing like this. This is a one in a trillion event, and so he is in shock [and] has a 9-year-old son. We are in constant contact with him. We’re very worried about his family and his kid, and we’re eagerly awaiting for the sheriff’s department telling us what their investigation has yielded.” Andres Leighton/AP/Shutterstock
Assistant Director Breaks His Silence
Dave Halls, the assistant director on Rust, released a statement in which he praised his “friend” Hutchins. “I’m shocked and saddened by her death,” he said. “It’s my hope that this tragedy prompts the industry to reevaluate its values and practices to ensure no one is harmed through the creative process again.” He continued, “My thoughts are with all who knew and loved Halyna.” Halls did not address the details of the incident or the reports that he was the one who handed Baldwin the gun involved in the shooting. Correcting the Narrative?
Baldwin reposted a thread from Terese Magpale Davis, who worked on Rust as a costume designer, outlining what they allege really happened on set. Davis’ post, which the actor shared via his Instagram account on November 2, claimed “the story being spun of us being overworked and surrounded by unsafe, chaotic conditions is bulls—t.” Davis stated that she “never worked more than a 12.5-hour shoot day,” saying that only happened once and “most days” were under the 12-hour mark. She recalled the day that Hutchins died, saying, “We had come off a 12-hour turnaround after an 11-hour shoot day,” noting they had a “56-hour weekend right before” the prolonged day. “No one was too tired to do their jobs,” she said. She refuted claims that the producers on the film didn’t care about their crew, writing, “They were some of the most approachable and warm producers I’ve ever worked with.” Davis explained that “concerns were heard and addressed” by the producers. According to her, the crew had a union rep who told production “not to give in to the camera crew” demands because they were asking for things that “the union does not require.” Davis alleged that she has spoken with the producers on the project since the accident, and they told her they have chosen not to defend themselves against the “blatantly false accusations” because they want the “focus to be on Halyna” and they want to “grieve and recover.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock

Police Protection?
“Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police officer on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety,” Baldwin tweeted on November 8. The actor, who has now made his Twitter profile private, also shared a screenshot of the tweet via his Instagram page. Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock
Halyna Hutchins Was Laid to Rest
More than a month after the tragedy, Halyna has been laid to rest. Her husband, Matthew, confirmed that a funeral was held on the weekend of Saturday, November 20, ET reports. Matthew revealed that Hutchins' grave marker has her name followed by ASC, indicating her association with The American Society of Cinematographers. The late mother's headstone also features images of a camera and film reel, emphasizing her passion for moviemaking. Underneath her years of birth and death is an inspirational quote: "Her light shapes our lives. Keep chasing your vision." Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
First Interview
The It's Complicated actor sat down for an in-depth interview with ABC News more than one month after the tragedy, opening up about the aftermath of the shooting. In a clip from the December 2021 special, Baldwin cried while reflecting on what went wrong on set. "The trigger wasn't pulled. I didn't pull the trigger," he said. "I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them. Never. I have no idea [how a bullet got in there]. Someone put a live bullet in a gun. A bullet that wasn't even supposed to be on the property." Baldwin went on to say the incident was the "worst thing" that's ever happened to him, explaining, "Because I think back and I think, 'What could I have done?'" Lumeimages/MEGA
The Aftermath
Baldwin confessed during his first sit-down interview about the incident that he didn't feel guilty, revealing, "I might have killed myself if I felt that I was responsible. I don't say that lightly." He continued to deny pulling the trigger, asserting that he was simply following Hutchins' directions on set. "I've been told by people who are in the know, in terms of even inside the state, that it's highly unlikely that I would be charged with anything criminally," he added. ABC News
The Letter
Baldwin shared a two-page letter via Instagram in December 2021 that was written by the Rust crew, which defended the film’s production. The writers of the note clarified that the note had "not been sanctioned or influenced in any way by the producers,” but was intended to "express a more accurate account" of their "workplace tragedy." The letter stated that Hutchins was the “heart of the production” and “losing her hurt every single one of us." "We are hurting from the loss of our togetherness, our spirit, and the loss of our labor,” the message continued. “We are hurting for our friends that have been targeted by the public as they themselves grieve." While those who worked on the film said the production had its challenges, “the descriptions of Rust as a chaotic, dangerous, and exploitative workplace are false and distract from what matters the most: the memory of Halyna Hutchins, and the need to find modern alternatives to outdated industry firearm and safety practices.” imageSPACE/Shutterstock
The Investigation Continues
Police sought a warrant to obtain the Boss Baby actor's cell phone in December 2021, according to Deadline, requesting the device to determine whether there might be "any evidence relating to the death investigation of Halyna Hutchins." A judge signed off on the paperwork, which stated, "Such information, if it exists, may be material and relevant to this investigation." At the time, Baldwin's lawyer noted, "We are confident that the evidence will show that Mr. Baldwin is not responsible civilly or criminally for what occurred on October 21, and he continues to cooperate with authorities." Calling Out ‘Lies’
As more details continued to emerge, Baldwin denied a report claiming he asked for a larger prop weapon on the movie set. "This, in fact is a lie," he tweeted in December 2021. "The choices regarding any props by me for the film RUST were made weeks before production began. To suggest that any changes were made 'before fatal shooting' is false." Gregory Pace/Shutterstock
The Hutchins Family’s Lawsuit
In February 2022, lawyers filed a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of her husband and son. The suit named Baldwin as a defendant along with seven producers and numerous crew members. “[Matthew] lost his long-term wife who was the love of his life, and his son lost a mother,” an attorney for the family said during a press conference announcing the suit. “It never should have happened.” Shutterstock (2)

Alec Baldwin Sued by Halyna Hutchins' Family After 'Rust' Shooting

Taking action. The family of Halyna Hutchins, who died in the shooting on the set of Rust, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Alec Baldwin and other individuals involved in the movie’s production.

Lawyers for the family announced in a press conference that the suit was filed on Tuesday, February 15, in New Mexico. “Mr. Baldwin and others were responsible and are responsible for safety on the job site,” attorney Brian Panish said on Tuesday, adding that “reckless conduct and cost-cutting measures” led to the cinematographer’s death.

Hutchins, 42, was killed in October 2021 when the 30 Rock alum, 63, was holding a prop gun with a live round that was discharged, also injuring director Joel Souza. Baldwin, who was told the weapon was “cold” (meaning unloaded), later claimed that he did not pull the trigger.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Hutchins’ surviving family members: her husband, Matthew Hutchins, and their son Andros, 9.

The family’s lawyers claimed that the Oscar nominee and other crew members disregarded “15 industry standards” for the use of guns on set, including not using a rubber gun and failing to train all of the cast and crew on proper handling of firearms.

"We're used to people coming in from out of town to play cowboy who don't know how to use guns," attorney Randi McGinn said during the press conference on Tuesday. "You don't hand somebody a gun until you give them safety training. … No one should ever die with a real gun on a make-believe movie set."

Two months after the incident, Baldwin opened up about the shooting during an in-depth interview with ABC News. “I didn’t pull the trigger,” he said in December 2021. “I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them. Never. I have no idea [how a bullet got in there]. Someone put a live bullet in a gun. A bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property.”

The New York native added that he didn’t feel guilty about the tragedy, saying, “I might have killed myself if I felt that I was responsible. I don’t say that lightly.”

Later that month, the Beetlejuice actor shared a two-page letter via Instagram that was written by the Rust crew in defense of the film’s production. “The descriptions of Rust as a chaotic, dangerous, and exploitative workplace are false and distract from what matters the most: the memory of Halyna Hutchins, and the need to find modern alternatives to outdated industry firearm and safety practices,” the letter read.

Baldwin also denied a report that he asked for a larger prop weapon while filming. “This, in fact is a lie,” he tweeted in December 2021. “The choices regarding any props by me for the film RUST were made weeks before production began. To suggest that any changes were made ‘before fatal shooting’ is false.”

RHOBH's Garcelle Beauvais Explains Distance Between Her and Erika Jayne

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 12:32 PM PST

Choosing what brings her joy. Garcelle Beauvais is breaking down why she chose to unfollow Erika Jayne after a post on social media from her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar rubbed her the wrong way.

Biggest 'Real Housewives' Feuds Ever — And Where the Relationships Stand Today

“It was something that I didn’t like, and it also didn’t really align with who I am,” Beauvais, 55, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting Lifetime’s Caught in His Web. “For me, I wanna follow people that [when] you’re seeing their feed, you wanna follow them. You wanna like them. You want to cheer them on, and I just didn’t wanna do that. I didn’t wanna see it.”

Fans originally noticed late last month that the fashion model joined costar Sutton Stracke in unfollowing Jayne, 52, on Instagram. After a Bravo fan account brought it to the “Pretty Mess” singer’s attention she replied in the comments section, “Well [let] me unfollow her back.”

Although Stracke, 50, has since followed Jayne back, Beauvais noted that she didn’t know what would make her want to keep up with the performer again.

Amid speculation that the cast’s trip to Aspen may have played a part in the divide, the Haiti native noted that the experience was “off the chain,” adding, “That’s all I’m saying. I don’t know how we pack so much in three days.”

Beauvais, who originally joined the cast in 2020, also revealed that she was adjusting better to being on the reality series.

“I actually like it more now. I think now I’ve got my foot planted because before the first season I was traveling to another project,” she noted. “So now I definitely enjoyed it this season.”

The actress got a break from the drama of filming season 12 with her new project Caught in His Web. The Lifetime movie, which is inspired by true events, explores the topic of cyberbullying which felt like the perfect fit for Beauvais.

“I’ve always wanted to work with Lifetime, but I wanted to find the right project. When the script came to me, it made sense on so many levels,” she told Us. “I didn’t really know a lot about cyberbullying. I knew it existed, but having 14-year-old boys that live on their phone and live on their computers, it was something that I thought, ‘Oh my God, this makes sense. No brainer I’m in.'”

The Real cohost, who shares twin sons Jax and Jaid with ex-husband Mike Nilon, enjoyed getting to flex her acting muscles again for the film.

“It was great to get back into acting again, because obviously I’ve been doing other things. But I really love the project and I love the idea that we’re all on social media,” Beauvais, who also shares son Oliver with ex Daniel Saunders, said. “I mean it can happen to me. It [can] happen to you and we give up so much information and we’re out there so I could see how it would happen.”

Although the role of Detective Holland wasn’t as “glamorous” as her time on the Housewives, Beauvais channeled her own history with social media into the project.

“I try not to read comments, believe it or not. I mean, I really don’t. I have friends that tell me what they see or they hear, but I try not to go there because for me I can have, like, a million great comments and then that one negative one will stay with you,” the television personality detailed. “I try to stay away from that. But because I’m out there, it’s a love and hate thing for me.”

Beauvais continued: “I can connect in my fans. I love that I can promote, you know what I’m doing, but it’s also so invasive because people feel like they know you, they can say anything to you and if they were in front of you, I’ll bet you half of those things, they would never say.”

Caught in His Web premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, February 19, at 8 p.m. ET.

Gwen Stefani Shares Rare Footage From Her Wedding to Blake Shelton

Posted: 15 Feb 2022 12:04 PM PST

Opposites attract! Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton might seem as different as can be — but they make a perfect match.

The musical duo met while working on The Voice in 2015 and quickly fell for each other in the wake of their divorces from Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert. After five years together, Shelton finally popped the question in October 2020.

“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!” the country crooner gushed via Instagram alongside a sweet PDA pic from his proposal.

Stefani, for her part, teased that her answer was an obvious one. “Yes please! 💍🙏🏻,” she captioned her own Instagram post at the time.

Two years earlier, the Oklahoma native revealed that his budding relationship with Stefani helped him get back from “rock bottom” after the end of his four-year marriage.

“It’s a miracle that I met somebody that was going through the same exact thing that I was at the same exact moment in time,” Shelton told Willie Geist during a June 2018 episode of Sunday Today. “I think if Gwen and I were being honest right now talking about this, I think in the back of our minds, we both kind of thought this is a rebound deal. … But now here we are three years later, and every day that goes by just feels like a stronger bond between the two of us, and it constantly feels like it’s going to the next level.”

Stefani split from Rossdale in August 2015, and the exes share three sons: Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. While the “Hollaback Girl” singer and Shelton hunkered down together amid the coronavirus pandemic, an insider told Us Weekly exclusively that Stefani’s kids have a soft spot for Shelton.

“Those boys look up to Blake in a big way,” the source said in August 2020. “He’s earned their respect as a father figure. He’s gone from being their friend to being a serious parental influence.”

Scroll down to take a look back at all of Stefani and Shelton’s sweetest moments together.

Summer 2015
Stefani and Shelton split from their respective spouses, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, within two weeks of each other in July and August 2015. The country singer and Lambert shockingly announced July 20 that they were splitting after four years of marriage. On August 3, Stefani and Bush rocker Rossdale surprised everyone when they said they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage.  Kevin Mazur/WireImage (2)
October 2015
Something was brewing! Stefani and Shelton hilariously performed Drake's "Hotline Bling" on The Tonight Show on October 26. The friendship — and the chemistry between the two — was clearly palpable. "They're a real thing," one insider close to Shelton told Us Weekly. NBC
Halloween 2015
Shelton and Stefani hit fellow Voice coach Adam Levine's 2015 Halloween bash together, and partygoers told Us Weekly that the pair were together the whole night. A stealthy photo taken by one attendee showed Shelton with his arms wrapped around Stefani on the dance floor. Days after the snap was taken, her rep confirmed to Us that they were an item.                                     Courtesy of Prinsloo/Instagram
November 2015
Making it official! After months of concealing their flirtation, Stefani — via her rep — exclusively confirmed to Us on November 4 that she and Shelton were in fact dating. "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating," the No Doubt singer's rep told Us. A few days later, Stefani couldn't help but praise her new man. "He’s a pretty rad guy," she said during a radio interview. "I have to say that." Trae Patton/NBC/Getty
November 2015
So adorbs. The day after Thanksgiving, Stefani and Shelton were caught FaceTiming (by an eagle-eyed fan) while she was exploring Disneyland with her three young sons. "These people — they get these pictures!" Shelton later joked to Access Hollywood about getting caught. "What I think was like, 'Hey! Look at this cool stuff at Disneyland!' And the next thing I see is a picture of Gwen holding my face up at Disneyland."  Splash News

And like you said, he's a smart, smart guy as well. So you feel safe, you could lean on him and trust him.” The California native also opened up about Shelton being a true “artist” and revealed that he has “a lot of different sides to him. She noted: “His true love is just of nature and of just being at that ranch. And he loves animals and he knows every single name of every salamander and every tree and every bush and snake. He's just always been the same. He's the same guy no matter where he goes, you know what I'm saying? And there's some things just so cool about that.  And there's just something great about someone that's so genuine and then super talented, because then you watch him sing and you're just like, ‘My God, your voice.’ He's really good.” Trae Patton/NBC

During a special for the 10th anniversary of The Voice, the country star said one of the best bonuses he got out of his participation in the TV show was his future wife. "People ask me all the time, 'What's the greatest thing that has happened for you since you've been on The Voice?'" he shared. "That's a no-brainer, right? I met my fiancée here. It's hard to resist Gwen Stefani. You know, here's this iconic rock star coming to be a coach on The Voice in a black minivan. That was cool to me." He added that their relationship made filming the reality series more fun because she inspires his competitive instincts. "I love it when she's here," he said, noting that he "would have laughed you out of the room" if you told him "back in 1996" that the No Doubt frontwoman would become his girlfriend. "She brings a very complicated element of competition, for me in particular. But I love that. I love the challenge. Shelton still gets excited when it comes to working with Stefani. He even loves bringing Stefani out as a surprise guest at his concerts. "And there's been times where she comes out on stage, we'll have a plan if she's at one of my concerts and we always try to keep it on the down-low, and then we'll start 'Nobody But You' or 'Go Ahead And Break My Heart,' and then I'll be singing it," Shelton explained. "And here I am dying from the time I stand on stage, walk out on stage, until that moment hits, because I know on that set list people are going to [flip] in their seats when Gwen Stefani walks out here. It's like I'm a kid on Christmas morning." Rob Latour/Shutterstock

Daly, who officiated the couple's wedding ceremony on July 3, shared some details about the big day during an episode of the Today show. “They're an unlikely pair,” he explained. “They're like if you pair delicious fried chicken with a glass of champagne. On paper and on the menu it doesn't seem to work, but it works. It's comfort food with class. And everybody roots for that.” The TRL alum said he encouraged the duo to write their own vows and Shelton chose to present his in the form of a song. "Blake starts by saying, 'Gwen's always giving me a hard time about not writing enough songs so I wrote a song,'" Daly recalled. "He wrote her a song, and he sings her song while he's crying that he wrote specifically for her — 'Reach the Star,' I think it was called. And not a dry eye in the house. "Now I need to figure out how to do the rest of my life. ... [Blake] is the same guy you see, no matter who he's with, what he's doing. I look at him sleeping, and he's the same guy.
