All Good? Shanna Moakler Had ‘Amazing’ Valentine’s Day Amid Split Rumors Posted: 16 Feb 2022 04:39 PM PST Feeling the love? Shanna Moakler didn't let her seemingly rocky relationship with boyfriend Matthew Rondeau dampen her Valentine's Day after returning home from her stint on Celebrity Big Brother on Monday, February 14. The 46-year-old reality star exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, February 16, that she "totally" had a good holiday, but didn't make any direct reference to her 29-year-old beau. "It was amazing," she said after being voted out of the Big Brother house on Monday. "It was very refreshing to be able to come home and just decompress and be around my things. It was so nice." ![]() While the former Miss USA runner-up told Us that her Valentine's Day celebration was a happy occasion, eagle-eyed fans noticed the next day that Moakler is no longer following her boyfriend on social media amid rumors that the two are on the rocks. Moakler previously gushed about Rondeau to the cameras ahead of her exit from the CBS series, but outside the show, her relationship had already made headlines for a less-than-romantic reason. Earlier this month, Teddi Mellencamp, who was Moakler's former Celebrity Big Brother housemate, shared alleged DM messages she received from Rondeau about the former pageant queen. "Shanna's boyfriend, who I didn't tag in any posts, slid into my DMs as well," the Bravo personality, 40, claimed on her "Two T's in a Pod" podcast on February 9 after she was kicked off of the CBS reality show a few days prior. "Let's just say, Shanna, when you get out of the house, if he hasn't told you anything, you need to call me, girl." The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum clarified that Rondeau "was not hitting on me," when he sent her the messages, but Mellencamp claimed he did throw shade at Moakler. "I said, 'Oh, Shanna, had I known you were going to vote me out, I wouldn't have left you my hat.' Obviously joking. It's a beanie cap, I don't care. It's my bad attempt at humor," she recalled on the podcast. "But he wrote, 'You'll never see that hat again,' and then something negative about her. … Now I have a little bit [of] additional concerns for Shanna." The Rhode Island native, who has been dating Rondeau on and off since 2020, was still on the CBS show when Mellencamp shared the alleged story with her listeners. "Shanna is going to be completely blindsided once she comes out of the house and finds out what Matthew has been up to," a source exclusively told Us at the time. "When she comes out of the house, she's in for a wakeup call. … They were headed toward an engagement but now can be headed toward a split." The model has yet to publicly comment on the shady DMs — or talk about where she and Rondeau currently stand — but as of Wednesday her social media accounts still featured photos of her boyfriend. Rondeau, however, recently wiped Moakler from his Instagram. Ahead of her romance with Rondeau, Miss New York USA 1995 was married to Travis Barker. The pair, who share son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16, split in 2008 after four years of marriage. Moakler is also the mother of daughter Atiana, 22, with ex Oscar De La Hoya. Barker, for his part, moved on with Kourtney Kardashian, who he proposed to in September 2021. Celebrity Big Brother airs on CBS Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. ET and Mondays at 9 p.m. ET. |
He’s Back! Pete Davidson Rejoins Instagram After Kanye West Drama Posted: 16 Feb 2022 04:32 PM PST ![]() He's back! Amid Kanye West's ongoing social media drama in which he shared a slate of anti-Pete Davidson messages, the comedian has created a shiny new account of his own. While the Saturday Night Live star, 28, has yet to post anything via his new Instagram page, a verified profile in his name was created on the platform on Wednesday, February 16. The @pmd account does not currently have a profile picture nor is following any accounts at the time of publication. Several days earlier, the 44-year-old Yeezy designer made headlines after he slammed Davidson — who's been dating West's estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, since October 2021 —in a series of now-deleted messages. "NO YOU WILL NEVER MEET MY CHILDREN," West captioned an alleged text message exchange on Sunday, February 13, referencing his four children with the 41-year-old Skims founder. (The estranged pair share children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.) Davidson, for his part, allegedly wrote via a text shared by West: "As a man, I'd never get [in the] way of your children. That's a promise. How you guys [go about] raising your kids is your [business] and not mine. I do hope [one] day I can meet them and we [can] all be friends." West continued, doubling down on their feud and referred to the New York native as "Skete" instead of his given name. “HOLD YOUR SPOUSE CLOSE MAKE SURE THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE AND APPRECIATE THEM BECAUSE THERES A SKETE LURKING IN EVERY DIRTY ASS ALLEY WAITING TO HELP DESTROY YOUR FAMILY AND WALK AROUND IN CALVIN KLEINS AROUND YOUR CHILDREN,” the Illinois native wrote on Sunday. After the "Heartless" rapper asked his followers to yell "Kimye forever" at the Big Time Adolescence star, Kardashian allegedly asked him to promote peace. "I've learned that using all caps makes people feel like I'm screaming at them. I'm working on my communication," West wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, February 15. "I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me. I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I'm still learning in real time. I don't have all the answers. To be [a] good leader is to be a good listener."
Davidson has taken the "mature route" amid the drama, a source told Us Weekly earlier this week. "Pete is staying far away from Kanye," the insider added. "He's not afraid of him — he just doesn't want to get involved in the divorce drama." The Dirt star has kept his personal life relatively private after shuttering his previous social media accounts in December 2018. At the time, Davidson posted an unsettling message surrounding his mental health. Shortly after fans were concerned about his wellbeing, the New York Police Department confirmed Davidson was safe, per Variety, before his account was deleted. |
Candace Cameron Bure: How I Grew Closer to Kelly Rizzo After Bob's Death Posted: 16 Feb 2022 03:02 PM PST A comforting friendship. Candace Cameron Bure is still reeling from the death of her friend and former costar Bob Saget, but she’s been coping with help from someone special — the late comedian’s widow, Kelly Rizzo. “It’s definitely brought me and Kelly closer,” the Fuller House alum, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, February 16, while promoting her new Aurora Teagarden Mysteries movie. “I love Kelly. She’s a wonderful person, but now we’re talking even more often than we did, which is wonderful.” Saget was found dead at the age of 65 in his hotel room in Orlando, Florida, on January 9. Earlier this month, Florida’s Orange County Medical Examiner announced that the Philadelphia native’s death was likely caused by an accidental fall. “Every day it feels a little bit better, but then it’ll hit you outta nowhere,” Bure told Us of Saget’s passing. “I will really greatly miss his friendship and the laughs and the hugs.” Last week, Rizzo, 42, marked the one-month anniversary of her husband’s death with a sweet Instagram tribute. "Bob lived life to the fullest," the Eat Travel Rock founder wrote alongside a video of the couple enjoying meals around the world. "He had so many hardships over the years that he would always tell me, 'Look, life is hard, we need to enjoy it as much as possible.’" Though the travel blogger is understandably heartbroken about the loss of her spouse, Bure told Us that she’s doing “as well as she can be” under the circumstances. “She has such a big support system around her, which is wonderful,” the Dancing With the Stars alum explained. “We are all there for her and she’s taken it one day at a time, but she’s a strong, strong woman, and her faith is strong as well.” The California native, for her part, is gearing up for the release of her latest Aurora Teagarden movie, subtitled Haunted by Murder. This time around, she got to star alongside her 23-year-old daughter, Natasha Bure, whom she shares with husband Valeri Bure. The duo also share sons Lev, 21, and Maksim, 20. “I loved every minute of it,” Candace told Us of working with her daughter, who plays a younger version of Aurora. “I honestly wasn’t sure if she was gonna do it.” The model previously told her mom that she wanted to forge a career path on her own, but she was happy to take a few pieces of advice on set. “Natasha was asking about my body language and how I would move in certain ways,” the former View host explained. “Those kinds of notes were really helpful to her as she was playing Aurora.” Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Haunted by Murder premieres on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Sunday, February 20, at 9 p.m. ET. Shailene Woodley, Aaron Rodgers’ Quotes About Relationship Before Split Posted: 16 Feb 2022 02:26 PM PST From smitten to single. Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers kept their relationship relatively private before their split, but their rare quotes about each other offer possible insights into why they called off their whirlwind engagement. Us Weekly confirmed in February 2021 that the actress and the NFL star were dating after first being linked in July 2020. "They started off as friends, but things have turned romantic," a source revealed at the time. "The two are staying in contact while they are living away from each other. The relationship is long-distance for right now, but they are making it work." Rodgers shocked some when he announced in February 2021 that he was engaged, though he did not share the name of his fiancée at the time. Woodley cleared up any confusion later that month by confirming that she was the mystery woman to whom the Green Bay Packers quarterback was referring. "We met during this whacky, whacky time and all the stadiums were closed that he was playing in, so I have yet to go to a football game," the Big Little Lies alum explained during a February 2021 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "I didn't really grow up with sports, especially American sports. It was never really on my radar. When we met, also, I knew he was a football guy, but I didn't know, like, what kind of a football guy he was. And I'm still constantly learning." Woodley and Rodgers seemed like an unlikely couple to some, but their chemistry was apparent. "While some might be perplexed of how compatible they are, it's obvious among those close to them that they're meant to be," an insider told Us in April 2021. "They're a great match because they're both hardworking, career-focused, have a similar lifestyle and are down to earth." The source added that the athlete "wouldn't have proposed if he wasn't 100 percent serious about Shailene being The One." However, Us confirmed in February 2022 that Woodley and Rodgers called it quits, with an insider revealing that the pair had not "been spending any time together" in recent weeks. "Shailene has been super busy with work," one source said, adding that the California native was always "focused" on football. "Everything was so different during lockdown, and they had been living in their bubble." Scroll through the gallery below to revisit the now-exes' quotes about their short-lived romance. ![]() Rodgers subtly announced his engagement to Woodley in February 2021. “2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season. I got engaged and played some of the best football in my career,” he said in an NFL Honors speech before thanking his “fiancée.” Later that month, the Secret Life of the American Teenager alum confirmed their engagement. “So it’s kind of funny. Everybody right now is freaking out over it and we’re like, ‘Yeah, we’ve been engaged for a while,’” she explained on The Tonight Show. “He’s, first off, just a wonderful, incredible human being. But I never thought I’d be engaged with somebody who threw balls for a living. Like, I never thought as a little girl … ‘Yeah, when I grow up, I’m gonna marry someone who throws balls! Yeah!’ But he’s really just so good at it.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() Rodgers gushed over his relationship with Woodley in March 2021. “I’m recently engaged so [I’ve] been enjoying that part of my life,” he said during an Instagram Live interview. “Obviously that’s the best thing that’s happened to me in the last year.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() “Starting a relationship where you immediately move in with someone — because it’s a pandemic and you can’t just get on a plane and go back and forth on weekends — taught us a lot about each other very quickly,” the Divergent star told Shape magazine in June 2021. “We jumped in headfirst and got some of the sticky bits out of the way early.” Woodley believed that she “would have met Aaron in any context, any space in time because I feel we were meant to be together.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() The Fault in Our Stars actress got real about the decision to protect her relationship with Rodgers. “When we announced that we were engaged, we wanted to do that only because we didn’t want someone else to do it before we did,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in July 2021. “And we didn’t do it for months and months after we had become engaged, but the reaction to it was really a lot, and so we were like, ‘Let’s just politely decline [to talk about the relationship] for a little while and live in our little bubble.’” Shutterstock (2) ![]() Woodley told Entertainment Tonight in July 2021 that she was focused on “enjoying” her engagement to Rodgers. “There’s no wedding planning happening,” she revealed. “There’s no rush. We’ve got no rush.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() The football player discussed his long-distance relationship as he returned to Wisconsin for the NFL season. “It’s a busy work time for her, so [my decision] probably came at a good time for both of us to be able to focus on our work,” he told Haute Living in September 2021. “I think it’s going to be a good thing. I mean, her work was shut down for an entire year [during the pandemic], and she’s booked a number of projects. She enjoys working and her own routine, which I obviously enjoy too.” Shutterstock (2) |
Jen Shah Files for 'RHOSLC' Clips to Be Excluded From Her Trial Posted: 16 Feb 2022 02:17 PM PST ![]() Ramping up for court. Jen Shah is making several requests when it comes to any potential discussion of her participation in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City at her upcoming trial, Us Weekly can confirm. According to court documents obtained by Us on Wednesday, February 16, Shah "opposes the use in evidence of any clips from the RHOSLC" during her trial, which is scheduled to begin next month. "Any use of clips from the RHOSLC at the trial of Ms. Shah, either in the government's case-in-chief or during cross-examination of the defense's case, would have to fall under one of the exceptions to the hearsay rule of evidence, as they are, by definition, out-of-court statements." In April 2021, the reality star, 48, pleaded not guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. (All defendants named in the case, except for Shah, pleaded guilty to their respective charges.) A few weeks prior to entering her plea, the television personality and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested in March 2021 for their alleged involvement in a telemarketing scam. Additionally, the latest filing claims that "all [RHOSLC Housewives] have an incentive to exaggerate their characters and dramatize their lives in order to participate in the currency of the Housewives' franchise: drama, conflict, and conspicuous consumption," meaning that "it is impossible to tell where reality ends and fantasy and outright deception and fakery begins." Therefore, the documents allege, such clips from the series should not be allowed in court. Shah's legal team also produced a lengthy series of questions for the prospective jury, including multiple queries about the potential jurors' exposure to RHOSLC, which has documented the television personality's arrest and legal woes in season 2. The questions range from the typical ("Does anyone in your household or family watch The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City?") — to the more nitty-gritty ("Do you believe that all Housewives who appear on the franchise are rich? Do you believe that what you see on the show is, in fact, real?"). The final ask of the RHOSLC-centric items listed is whether any possible jury member watched ABC News' Hulu special The Housewife & the Shah Shocker. The question is a significant one, as Shah was previously denied the opportunity to have her case thrown out after the documentary aired. In December 2021, the fashion designer claimed through court documents obtained by Us that it would be impossible to find an "untainted jury pool" due to the program. Judge Sidney H. Stein stated at the time, "Indeed, there has been no evidence whatsoever proffered to suggest that Shah's right to a fair trial has been compromised or prejudiced in any respect." According to a press release obtained by Us in March 2021, Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss claims the pair and their "co-conspirators … allegedly generated and sold 'lead lists' of innocent individuals for other members of their scheme to repeatedly scam." HSI Special Agent-in-Charge Peter C. Fitzhugh added that the two "built their opulent lifestyle at the expense of vulnerable, often elderly, working-class people." In the latest filing obtained by Us, court documents state that “The Government intends to offer evidence [of fraud] in the form of financial records, summary charts, and limited testimony regarding those records, charts, as well as testimony by percipient witnesses with knowledge of the defendant's disposition of the criminal proceeds.” If found guilty on both counts, Shah faces up to 50 years in prison. |
4 Years Strong! Becca Tilley Says She's Still in a ‘Private’ Relationship Posted: 16 Feb 2022 02:05 PM PST Becca Tilley may be lucky in love, but the former Bachelor contestant isn't ready for the world to know who she is giving her roses to — yet. Tilley first competed for Chris Soules' heart on season 19 of The Bachelor, which aired in 2015. While she made it to the final two, the farmer proposed to Whitney Bischoff and sent Tilley packing. (Soules and Bischoff called it quits less than a year after the finale aired.) The clothing designer took a second shot at reality TV romance on Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor, which aired in 2016. Tilley finished in the top five. “I think I went into it with the mindset of, ‘If this is meant to be with this person, then it’s meant to be and I’m gonna embrace this time that I have and try not to overthink it and stress about it.’ And it is a bizarre feeling to become friends with people who are dating the same person as you,” Tilley told Entertainment Tonight about the reality series in June 2019. “It’s not a natural setting in the sense you’re watching it all happen around you, but I made some of the closest friendships I’ve had because of the show. So, I’m really thankful.” Tilley, who was open about being a virgin on the series, moved on with Robert Graham, who appeared on season 9 of The Bachelorette and season 1 of Bachelor in Paradise. Us Weekly broke the news of their split in May 2017. "It's fun. We've been friends for a long time and it was just a natural progression, and he's just amazing and been patient with me," she told Us in December 2016 about their romance. "I need someone that's patient and willing to deal with me, and he's been that way. So it's been fun, it's been an easy transition." Three months later, Tilley told Us that their relationship "just ended." "The reason that Robert and I aren't together is because I felt like I was really busy with work and traveling a lot so it wasn't a sense of like, 'Oh, I want to be free and date as many guys as possible.' It was more of me just wanting to take this time for myself and focus on me and what I'm doing," she told Us in September 2017. "It wasn't like one of us cheated or there was this bitterness. I still care a lot about him and there's no hard feelings. Hopefully on either side, but I can say that for me." In late 2018, Tilley confirmed she was off the market again, but has yet to reveal who she is seeing. More recently, in February 2022, Tilley revealed that she and her mystery love are still going strong. "I'm in a relationship. Almost 4 years," she told a fan via an Instagram Q&A. Scroll through for everything Tilley has said about her romance: ![]() “Being private on social media is not the same as hiding. People already have an opinion on about my relationship and I haven’t even shared it,” Tilley told a fan during a February 2022 Instagram Q&A. “Makes sense why I want to protect it? But maybe one day! It’ll be our choice though.” Courtesy of Becca Tilley/Instagram ![]() “I just think that my relationship that I’m in is just, I like that it’s private and it’s my own,” the reality TV personality told Us in September 2019. “I had a public relationship before and it just felt like I had a lot of people involved, which I know that’s why they sort of watched me in the first place.” imageSPACE/Shutterstock ![]() Tilley told Us in September 2019 that she doesn’t “have a timeline” when it comes to sharing her significant other’s identity. “I just feel if the moment comes where I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m just going to say something,’ then I will,” she said. “I’m really happy and I hope to eventually start opening up about it more, but I’m happy with it being private right now.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock ![]() Tilley told Us in November 2019 that not posting about her relationship on social media is the only major restriction. “It’s mostly just posting and talking about it,” she said told Us. “I live my life.” John Photography/Shutterstock ![]() The Bachelor alum told Us at the 2nd Annual American Influencer Awards in November 2019 that her parents haven’t met her mystery love. “My family lives far away, so my sisters I guess have been introduced, but not the rest of my family,” she told Us at the time. “I’m really happy. I'm in a really good place.” Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock ![]() "I think I have shared less of my personal life mostly because I came off a show where my whole dating life, everything about me, was out there on display for everyone to have an opinion about and everyone to talk about and know everything about. And then after The Bachelor, I was in a public relationship and posted about everything about it on Instagram and YouTube or wherever — and when we broke up, there was this pressure that I felt just about letting people down who were rooting for my relationship,” Tilley told ET in June 2019. "I remember thinking, 'I don't feel safe just being honest and real, because I don't know what people are going to say or what assumptions they're going to make.' So I kind of decided after that, it was something that I could protect.” Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() Tilley and her “Scrubbing In” podcast cohost Tanya Rad played a game of Truth or Drink on a June 2019 episode on their show. When asked if she is “in love,” Tilley answered, “Yes.” Later during the game, Tilley opted to take a shot instead of naming the person she is dating. Mediapunch/Shutterstock ![]() "The life-long partnership scares me a little bit. I think just looking forward, I just want to be with someone who I'm excited to see every day in some capacity,” she told ET in June 2019. “Like, I get home from a long day, and they make me feel excited… no matter how tired I am, I'm still happy to see them." AFF-USA/Shutterstock ![]() Tilley confirmed in December 2019 that she has bene seeing her significant other for more than a year after meeting at a party. "I think it was just an instant connection. I've never had something so instant, like, from the beginning," she told Entertainment Tonight. "If there's a moment where I feel like, 'OK, I'm ready to let everybody into my relationship and everyone can have an opinion on it,’ [then I will share].” David Buchan/Shutterstock |
Everything Shailene Woodley Has Said About Love and Past Relationships Posted: 16 Feb 2022 01:56 PM PST A journey to find love. Before her whirlwind romance with Aaron Rodgers made headlines, Shailene Woodley was open about the ups and downs of finding her perfect partner. “When you're truly in love, for me, it's … you're my lighthouse!" The Oscar nominee told Elle in March 2015, explaining that she is “heart-centered” in her approach to relationships. “You're somebody who holds me high, keeps me safe, you've got my f–kin' back. … You also love me whole, wild and free. You let me do me, and I'm gonna let you do you! And I'll be the home that you return to.” Woodley continued: “I’m all-loving. I fall in love with people based on who they are. … This is who I am! And I love you if you love me for who this person is. And if not, I’ll still love you, but I ain’t fallin’ in love with you!'” Though she was willing to share her perspectives on love as a concept, the Divergent star has kept many of the details about her love life private. In 2017, Woodley was linked to New Zealand rugby player Ben Volavola but she didn’t confirm that she was in a relationship until one year later. “We were very much on the road to marriage and children,” she told Bustle about their relationship in April 2020, revealing that they had quietly split. In February 2021, Green Bay Packers quarterback Rodgers revealed that he was engaged, with Us Weekly later confirmed that the Big Little Lies alum was his fiancée. “2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season,” the athlete said at the NFL Honors Awards that month. “I got engaged and I played some of the best football in my career.” Woodley confirmed the engagement two weeks later, confessing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that Rodgers popped the question “a while” before the news broke. Us confirmed in February 2022 that the pair had called it quits after more than a year of dating. “Shailene has been super busy with work," a source told Us at the time, adding that Rodgers was “focused” on football. “Everything was so different during lockdown, and they had been living in their bubble. Friends of Shailene didn't believe Aaron is the best match for her.” Keep scrolling to see everything Woodley said about love and relationships ahead of the breakup. ![]() Though she has starred in her fair share of romance-centered films and TV shows, Woodley was more focused on her career than finding "The One" in her early 20s. "I haven’t had time to think about a relationship!" the Fault in Our Stars actress told Teen Vogue in March 2014. "I literally have not had a boyfriend in almost five years. I’ve never even hooked up with anybody I’ve worked on a movie with." Jacques BENAROCH/SIPA/Shutterstock ![]() When it comes to romance, the Descendants star likes to keep an open mind. "Listen, I’m someone who has experienced both an open relationship and a deeply monogamous relationship in my life, and I think we’re in a day and age where there should be no rules except for the ones designed by two people in a partnership—or three people, whatever floats your boat!" Woodley told the New York Times in April 2020. "But there has to be a level of responsibility in any relationship dynamic, and that responsibility is simply honesty and communication and trust. Apart from that, it’s really none of our business what people choose to do with their lives." Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock ![]() After dating Volavola for three years, Woodley realized that she needed to love herself before she could fully love someone else. "I realized I was still at an age where I wasn’t able to fully commit. I couldn’t be available to him in the way that I wanted to be," she told Bustle in April 2020. "I didn’t fully love myself." David Fisher/Shutterstock ![]() Starring in coming-of-age movies like The Spectacular Now gave the actress a chance to rewrite her own romantic history. "I lost my virginity, like, seven times on screen!" Woodley told Bustle. "I lost my own virginity in a really unromantic, unsexy way, [so] it’s very therapeutic for me that by playing these characters I was showing young women what they can wait for." Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock ![]() In an "Ask Her" column for men's website Leo in January 2021, Woodley offered up advice for someone who was having a difficult time connecting with their partner in the bedroom. "Oy … I have been here. And to be quite honest, it has happened more than once in my life," she wrote at the time. "All I can say is, from my perspective as a woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say it, honesty and transparency are everything. If you don't feel safe in communication with your partner, then chances are, you may never be able to cultivate a truly connective sex life." She continued: "[Bad sex] is simply two people who haven't quite found the language that speaks to their unique lives together yet. Or, two people who don't know how to be deeply vulnerable with one another. That s--t can take time. ... Most of the time, sex is a lesson in true intimacy." Jim Ruymen/UPI/Shutterstock ![]() Despite falling in love with one of the most famous football players in the NFL, Woodley knew next to nothing about the game he played. “I never thought I’d be engaged [to] somebody who threw balls for a living," she joked to Jimmy Fallon in February 2021. "We met during this whacky, whacky time and all the stadiums were closed that he was playing in. I didn’t really grow up with sports, especially American sports. It was never really on my radar. When we met, also, I knew he was a football guy, but I didn’t know like what kind of a football guy he was." Shutterstock (2) ![]() Woodley and Rodgers met at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and things between them became serious pretty quickly. "Starting a relationship where you immediately move in with someone — because it's a pandemic and you can't just get on a plane and go back and forth on weekends — taught us a lot about each other very quickly," the Last Letter From Your Lover star told Shape in June 2021. "We jumped in headfirst and got some of the sticky bits out of the way early." Hugh Hefner’s Dating Life Through the Years Posted: 16 Feb 2022 01:42 PM PST Hugh Hefner, who died in September 2018 at age 91, was always surrounded by beautiful women. The Playboy founder married three times, but was mostly recognized for having multiple live-in girlfriends at the Playboy Mansion. Though the media mogul tried his hand at marriage, his first two attempts— to childhood sweetheart Mildred Williams from 1949 to 1959, and to Kimberley Conrad from 1989 to 2010 — didn’t last. He is survived by his third wife, Crystal Hefner (née Harris), as well as four adult children from his two previous marriages. (Hugh shared Christie and David with Williams and Marston and Cooper with Conrad.) Hugh's love life was the subject of the Girls Next Door reality TV series, which aired on E! from 2006 to 2009. The six-season series primarily highlighted his relationships with the likes of Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson. The final season of the show introduced Crystal, and twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon. "I’ve been blessed for many, many things but to find true love at this age, at this stage of life, is beyond words,” Hugh previously told E! News in 2014, two years after marrying Crystal. “Things could not be better." After the former magazine editor's death, Crystal exclusively opened up about her loss to Us Weekly. "It's been a whirlwind," Crystal told Us in March 2020. "It's been trying to find myself. I became someone else's identity for 10 years. I'm finding my own identity and place in the world. It's scary. … I've been doing a lot of traveling and seeing the world. I didn't do much of that living at the house. Hef and I were just homebodies. He didn't like me traveling. I guess I'm making up for lost time." Hugh's past relationships made headlines once again after the January 2022 premiere of the A&E docuseries Secrets of Playboy. The Vegas Diaries author and other former Playmates came forward with allegations about the Illinois native's inappropriate behavior during his mansion residency. "We sign our names to support Hugh M. Hefner. From all we know of Hef, he was a person of upstanding character, exceptional kindness and dedication to free thought," a collective of former Playboy employees and models wrote in a joint statement, obtained by Us Weekly, in February 2022. "He demonstrated a commitment to living an honest life beyond everything else. Our time within Hugh Hefner's Playboy and the organization's subsidiaries remains a period all of us are fond of." Football Is for Lovers! Everything Aaron Rodgers Has Said About Romance Posted: 16 Feb 2022 01:22 PM PST A rare glimpse into Aaron Rodgers' personal life. The Green Bay Packers quarterback has been in several high-profile relationships over the years, but he hardly ever opens up about his love life. Rodgers dated Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr on and off before he started seeing Olivia Munn in 2014. “My boyfriend’s healthiness inspires me. Aaron is different than every other man I’ve ever met," the Newsroom alum gushed to Good Housekeeping about Rodgers in 2015. "There’s so much I could say. Everything a good person can be, he is. He’s in such great shape, and especially lately, he’s been eating so well and working out. Having somebody in your life like that is so motivating.” After three years together, Rodgers and Munn called it quits in 2017. The NFL player was briefly linked to model Kelly Rohrbach before Us Weekly confirmed he was dating Danica Patrick. During an October 2018 interview, Rodgers spoke publicly about their romance after keeping mum about his other loves in the past. "I have been so private for so long. I believe that you should be able to have some private life that's not out there all the time. I have been private for so long, and when you are that private, it can isolate you a bit," he told Artful Living at the time. "When you just let go and don't worry about it as much, you're actually practicing that indifference all the time. Then any type of response, positive or negative, to one of my posts or one of Danica's posts that I'm in doesn't bother me." News broke in July 2020 that Rodgers and Patrick were no longer together. While Us confirmed in February 2021 that he was dating Shailene Woodley, reports revealed that the twosome had been quietly dating for several months before he announced he was engaged. "2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season," Rodgers began while accepting the 2020 AP Most Valuable Player during the NFL Honors awards before thanking his "fiancée" in February 2021. He continued: "I got engaged and I played some of the best football in my career. So I'd like to thank, first and foremost, my teammates for their support, their inspiration, protection, incredible play on the field. … Off the field, I've got a great group of people that support me, so I'd like to thank my team." One year later, Us confirmed that the four-time NFL MVP and the Big Little Lies alum split. "Shailene has been super busy with work," a source exclusively told Us in February 2022, noting that Rodgers is always "focused" on football. "Everything was so different during lockdown, and they had been living in their bubble." Scroll through for Rodgers quotes about love and his exes: ![]() “When you are living out a relationship in the public eye, it's definitely … it's difficult," Rodgers told ESPN Magazine in 2017 after his split from Munn. ”It has some extra constraints because you have other opinions about your relationship, how it affects your work and, you know, just some inappropriate connections." When asked about fans comparing his football performance to his love life, Rodgers added, “They're such misogynists, right?" Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock ![]() "I think there should be a separation between your public life and your personal life,” he said during the 2017 magazine interview. "I've just always felt like there should be a time when you don't have to be on." Ben Margot/AP/Shutterstock ![]() The athlete changed his tune about discussing his love life when he started seeing Patrick in 2018. “It’s more normal. In the right settings, it’s normal,” he told Artful Living in October 2018 about him and the NASCAR driver not shying away from discussing their romance. “There’s still the right time and right place, but I don’t feel like I have to be reserved all the time. We’re just two people who enjoy being around each other and love each other. We’re really into each other. So there are going to be posts with each other because we enjoy each other’s company a lot. We’re really attracted to each other.” Reinhold Matay/AP/Shutterstock ![]() “She’s spontaneous. She’s up for anything travel-wise, which is fun. She’s a good travel partner because she’s so laid-back and low-maintenance,” he said about Patrick. “And she’s a hell of a cook, so we love just staying in, too. She eats really healthy. She’s inspired me in that way.” John Salangsang/Shutterstock ![]() Rodgers was first linked to Woodley during the summer of 2020. That September, he gushed about his new outlook on life. “I have just a new and increased love of life. And I’ve made decisions and changes and habits that put me in a lot better headspace and there’s just a lot of things that have come together in my life over the last few months that have really been enjoyable and reminded me, given me perspective, on life and in football to view things through the most positive lens I possibly can,” Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show. “And that’s why I’m having so much fun and it starts with love. And then surrounding yourself with people that you really enjoy.” Uncredited/AP/Shutterstock ![]() “I’m recently engaged, so been enjoying that part of my life,” Rodgers said during a March 2021 Instagram Live interview with Zenith Watches’ CEO Julien Tornare. He noted that “there’s been a lot of good” in his life as of late, but his engagement to Woodley, was the most recent highlight. “Obviously that’s the best thing that’s happened to me in the last year,” the athlete added. Shutterstock (2) ![]() One month after confirming announcing his and Woodley’s engagement, the California native revealed he’s ready to be a dad sooner rather than later. “I’m in that age group where a lot of my close friends from high school and college are fathers now and have families of their own,” Rodgers said during a March 2021 Instagram Live with Tornare. “It’s maybe not in the immediate future but definitely something that I really look forward to.” The NFL star continued: “I’ve done a pretty good job at taking care of myself for the last 37 years and look forward to taking care of another life at some point too. I just think it’s going to be so fun.” He added that fatherhood will be his “next great challenge” and something he’s “always dreamt about.” Rodgers explained that he’s not in a rush but is “really excited about that chapter whenever that comes.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() The professional athlete told Haute Living in November 2021 that he wasn’t worried about being away from his then-fiancée, Woodley, during the NFL season. “It’s a busy work time for her, so [my decision to keep playing in Wisconsin] probably came at a good time for both of us to be able to focus on our work,” Rodgers told the outlet. “I think it’s going to be a good thing. I mean, her work was shut down for an entire year [during the coronavirus pandemic], and she’s booked a number of projects. She enjoys working and her own routine, which I obviously enjoy, too.” Shutterstock (2) |
Hollywood’s Hottest Married Couples Posted: 16 Feb 2022 01:21 PM PST Making a Hollywood marriage work is tough, but many couples have offered fans a glimpse at their ability to have it all figured out. Since their marriage in 1994, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have continued to be open about their relationship ups and downs. The duo originally met in 1992 but did not start dating until the following year. At the time, Will was still married to Sheree Zampino and their divorce was finalized in 1995 after three years of marriage. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum previously reflected on how the circumstances allowed him and his now-wife to privately focus on their relationship. “My divorce from Sheree wasn’t yet final, so Jada and I decided it would be prudent if we kept our relationship under wraps. (We were both pretty famous, and we felt it just wouldn’t have been a great look.),” Will, who shares son Trey with his ex, wrote in his memoir in November 2021. “The blessed yet unintended consequence was that we spent every single moment together, just us. The first three or four months were as wild a romantic whirlwind as our bodies could have possibly handled.” After their nuptials, Will and Jada welcomed son Jaden in 1998 and daughter Willow in 2000. Over the years, the pair have gotten candid about the issues in their marriage that led to a separation in 2015. "I was done with your ass. I was done with you," the rapper joked during an episode of Red Table Talk in July 2020, referring to their previous split. "Marriages have that, though. We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time, and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I'll try to figure out how to make myself happy. I really felt like we could be over." At the time, the Girls Trip actress noted that she got into an "entanglement" with August Alsina while separated from her husband. Jada clarified that Will wasn’t aware about the brief connection with Alsina but that they have since “really gotten to that new place of unconditional love.” The Grammy award winner, for his part, later shared how communication allowed the twosome to have a resilient romance. “But the heart and soul of our union was then, and is still today, intense, luminescent conversation. Even to the writing of this very sentence, if Jada and I begin a conversation, it is a minimum two-hour endeavor. And it is not uncommon that we talk for five or six hours at a stretch,” he recalled in his memoir. “Our joy of pondering and pursuing the mysteries of the universe, through the mirror of each other’s experience, is unbridled ecstasy. Even in the depths of disagreement, there is nothing in this world that either of us more cherishes or enjoys than the opportunity to grow and learn from each other through passionate communication.” Scroll down for more successful married Hollywood couples who have shared their secret to happiness: ![]() George said goodbye to his longtime bachelor status after a mutual friend introduced him to Amal in 2013. “I was like, ‘I’m never getting married. I was like, ‘Oh God, I think I'm going to fall in love with her.’ As I shook her hand I went, ‘I like you.’ It’s one of those things where as soon as you meet someone you kind of know.”. Never once did I ask, 'What are we?' Marriage was never my goal because I've never been very traditional. I was just happy to be with him." The pair got married in 2013. I think that sort of crushes relationships a lot,” Prinze told Us in 2017. “We don’t feel fortunate as much as we feel disciplined in the work. Sacrifice is something that’s required in marriage.” The couple have two children: Charlotte and Rocky. Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic ![]() The Sex and the City star, who has been married to Broderick since 1997, opened up about how spending time apart from the actor has reinforced their bond. “I know this sounds nuts, but we have lives that allow us to be away and come back together,” Parker said on Girlboss Radio in 2018. “His work life takes him here, and mine takes me there. In some ways, I think that that’s been enormously beneficial because we have so much to share in a way.” The pair have three kids: son James and twin daughters Tabitha and Marion. Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic ![]() The talk show host, who got married to the Consuelos in 1996, admitted that she knew her now-husband was The One as soon as she saw him during his audition for the soap opera All My Children. “I auditioned him. Peter Weber: Hannah Brown Didn't Return My Message After Hookup Bombshell Posted: 16 Feb 2022 01:05 PM PST Peter Weber has made it clear that he wishes Hannah Brown the best, but that doesn't mean he was thrilled when she included their post-Bachelorette hookup in her book — after previously promising not to reveal the details. "I did not [talk to her after the book came out]. I reached out to her, I received no comment [back] and, you know, it is what is. I personally, I wouldn’t have done something like that," the 30-year-old former Bachelor said on Us Weekly's "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast. "If two people have a private situation and talk and they say that they’re gonna keep it private, I just keep it private. I don't know — she now has done that to me on two occasions where she said she’s not gonna say anything. And then she says something." Weber is referring to Brown divulging their fantasy suite details during the 2019 season of the ABC series — and then opening up further on the live After the Final Rose about having sex in a windmill four times. "I don’t think I could confide in her anymore, put it that way," the pilot told Us. "But I think I probably helped sell a lot of books for her." Brown's November 2021 memoir, God Bless This Mess, made waves in Bachelor Nation after the 27-year-old former Miss Alabama revealed she and Weber hooked up at his parents' house in February 2020 following Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin's engagement party. Weber, who was the second runner-up on Brown's season, was single at the time as he had secretly ended his engagement to Bachelor season 24 winner Hannah Ann Sluss. His season of the show, however, was still airing and he was trying to navigate his feelings for runner-up Madison Prewett. "It wasn’t anything crazy, like, there was nothing scandalous about it," Weber added of his hookup with Brown. "We had had a past — try to put yourself in our shoes and everything we had been through and then not being able to see each other and seeing each other and how everything happened. It was a very, 'What is going on?' moment. And it was just two people kind of exploring that and nothing came from it and that’s OK. I was never gonna speak on it, but once it got out, like, there was nothing to hide, nothing that I felt bad about or ashamed of. It was what everyone goes through, you know, two people trying to figure stuff out." When asked whether Sluss and Prewett, both 25, or any of his other exes — Weber dated his former contestant Kelley Flanagan for nearly one year after his 2020 season finished airing — reached out as the book made headlines, he said no. "I can honestly say no. I do not speak to any exes," he told Us. "I have fully moved on, [I'm] moving forward." Now, Weber and fellow Bachelorette alum Dustin Kendrick host their "Bachelors in the City" podcast and the children's book author is navigating dating post-reality TV. "I'm enjoying being single and I’m in a very good place. I'm not rushing it, not pushing it," Weber told Us, noting he's been spending time with some "great" girls but isn't in a relationship at the moment. "Nothing serious. As soon as anything [is] serious [though], believe me, [you'll know]. I’ve never been someone to shy away from expressing myself and emotions." |
Nick Cannon Supports Kanye West Trying to Win Back Mutual Ex Kim Kardashian Posted: 16 Feb 2022 12:45 PM PST ![]() Having his friend’s back. While reflecting on the song that he dedicated to ex-wife Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon explained that he was taking a page out of Kanye West‘s playbook. “You know I was out there trying to spread that little Kanye West energy. Kanye trying to get Kim [Kardashian] back though, ain’t he?” Cannon, 41, said during an episode of the Nick Cannon Show on Wednesday, February 16. “He pulled up to her house in a Toyota Tacoma full of roses. He really did that.” The Masked Singer host, who briefly dated Kardashian, 41, in 2006, understood why West, 44, seemingly sent a large delivery of roses to his estranged wife’s house for Valentine’s Day, adding, “He is trying to get his woman back and as a matter of fact, Kanye, I need you on the remix to my record. That’s what we gonna do. I salute everything Kanye is trying to do. Get your woman back.” Cannon stood by his support for the Yeezy designer after several women in the audience reacted negatively to his statement. “That’s his wife, he got kids with her. I can get Mariah back, but Kanye can’t get Kim back? Y’all ain’t right,” the former Nickelodeon star, who was married to Carey, 51, from 2008 to 2016, joked. “I’ll pull up with a minivan with some butterflies, it’s going down. We’ll both be wearing Skims and glitter.” The comedian’s comments come as West continues to make headlines for his attempts to win Kardashian back. The beauty mogul, who shares North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, with West, originally filed for divorce from West in February 2021 following almost seven years of marriage. After Kardashian moved on with Pete Davidson in October 2021, her estranged husband raised eyebrows with his reaction to the new couple. “HOLD YOUR SPOUSE CLOSE MAKE SURE THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE AND APPRECIATE THEM BECAUSE THERES A SKETE LURKING IN EVERY DIRTY ASS ALLEY WAITING TO HELP DESTROY YOUR FAMILY AND WALK AROUND IN CALVIN KLEINS AROUND YOUR CHILDREN,” West wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post on Sunday, February 13. The rapper also stated that the Saturday Night Live star would "never" meet his kids alongside text messages that he seemingly received from Davidson, 28, which read, "As a man, I'd never get [in the] way of your children. That's a promise. How you guys [go about] raising your kids is your [business] and not mine. I do hope [one] day I can meet them and we [can] all be friends." Although the Skims founder has kept quiet about West’s social media activity, the songwriter later shared screenshots from an alleged conversation between them. “U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault,” one message from Kardashian read on Monday, February 14, to which West allegedly responded, “I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever. And I listened to you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete.” West apologized for his behavior one day later in addition to removing all the posts from his Instagram feed. “I’ve learned that using all caps makes people feel like I’m screaming at them. I’m working on my communication,” he wrote on Tuesday, February 15. “I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me.” The record producer continued: “I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener.” Meanwhile, Cannon recently announced that he was expecting a child with Bre Tiesi. The California native already shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, now 10, with Carey. In 2016, he welcomed son Golden, 4, and daughter Powerful, 13 months, with Brittany Bell. He also shares twins Zion and Zillion, now 7 months, with Abby De La Rosa. Cannon welcomed son Zen with Alyssa Scott in 2021, but the infant died later that year after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. |
Celebrity Splits of 2022: Stars Who Broke Up This Year Posted: 16 Feb 2022 12:08 PM PST Calling it quits. It happens all the time, but the world never gets used to seeing celebrity couples break up. Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard were among the stars who made headlines for their splits in 2022. Us Weekly exclusively revealed in January that the model and the NFL star were "getting divorced," though they were "going to try and remain civil and friendly towards each other." Divorce documents obtained by Us claimed that the pair were having marital issues as far back as December 2020. "The parties have experienced irreconcilable differences [and the] differences have caused a break down in the marital relationship," the papers, which were filed in June 2021, read. "Said irreconcilable differences have existed for at least six months prior to the filing [of] this Complaint and there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation." After Iman and Shepard welcomed daughter Cali in August 2018, he got real about balancing their parenting responsibilities and their relationship. (The duo also share daughter Cassie, whom they welcomed in December 2019.) "It's honestly tough whenever you put a baby into the situation because you've got to still try to find time for each other and a lot of the focus goes onto the baby," he told Us in August 2019. "So that's the main thing is just me trying to carve out a little time in my schedule and her trying to carve out time in her schedule because we're both pretty busy. That's the toughest thing about it, but we find a way to get through it." Another split that made news in 2022 was Joe and Bessy Gatto's, though they technically announced it in December 2021. The comedian revealed the separation in an Instagram post that also explained his exit from Impractical Jokers. "Alongside my friends, I've devoted a decade of my life to building this franchise and couldn't be prouder of what has been accomplished," he wrote on New Year’s Eve in 2021. "However, due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away. Bessy and I have decided to amicably part ways, so now I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids." Bessy, for her part, addressed the breakup in her own Instagram post. "With love and respect, we have decided to separate. Although we will no longer be a couple, we will always be a family to our beautiful kids and we look forward to co-parenting together," she noted. "We ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate this new chapter together. And of course we will still continue to help animals and rescue dogs, which is something we are both passionate about!" Paris Hilton has an entire Instagram dedicated to all of her "fur kids" called Hilton Pets. The special account is where the businesswoman has shared an abundance of footage of her various pets, including Hilton's many dogs. The Simple Life alum is such a dedicated dog mom, that she has ensured that they can live their most luxurious lives possible. "My dogs live in this two-story doggy mansion that has air conditioning, heating, designer furniture and a chandelier," she tweeted in 2017. "Loves it." The Mamma Mia! star's love for her own dog has led to her becoming an animal activist. "The amazing connection I share with Finn has made me appreciate being present and to not take any moment you have with the people and animals you love for granted," she told E! News in 2016. "Our special bond initiated my passion to work with Best Friends Animal Society to ensure we find forever homes for as many homeless and shelter animals as possible, and to have them experience the same joy I feel with Finn." Katie Thurston Responds to Comparisons to Love Is Blind's Shaina and Kyle Posted: 16 Feb 2022 12:01 PM PST Just asking a question. Katie Thurston has been watching season 2 of Love Is Blind, but she’s not totally convinced that one of the couple’s engagements was a good idea. “I'm confused,” the Bachelorette alum, 31, tweeted on Tuesday, February 15. “Am I supposed to be excited about the engagement of Shaina and Kyle… When one of her Twitter followers replied to say they didn’t know who she was talking about, the reality star added, “I'm only on episode 2 but this engagement is leaving me speechless and not in a good way.” ![]() After the latest season of Love Is Blind premiered on Friday, February 11, Kyle Abrams, 29, and Shaina Hurley, 32, quickly became a hot topic among fans of the Netflix series. The duo got engaged during episode two, but they’ve already disagreed on some major subjects. The hairstylist, for example, is religious, while her beau is an atheist. “I'm scared that, like, given our differences and everything, if [this engagement is] gonna be a problem,” Shaina told Kyle at one point. “And so, I'm just, like, freaking out.” Later, Shaina admitted that she still has feelings for fellow contestant Shayne Jansen, even though she accepted Kyle’s proposal. “I said yes to Kyle, but I can't stop thinking about Shayne," she said of the real estate agent, 32. While Katie has some doubts about Shaina and Kyle’s compatibility, she seemingly wasn’t bothered when one Twitter user compared their romance to her relationship with ex-fiancé Blake Moynes. “I'm sorry ily but this is how i felt about yours,” one Bachelorette viewer wrote in response to the Washington native’s first tweet about Love Is Blind. “Fair enough The former bank marketing manager got engaged to Blake, 31, during the season 17 finale of The Bachelorette, which aired in August 2021. Less than three months later, the twosome called it quits. “It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways,” Katie wrote via Instagram in October 2021. “We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently." One month later, Us Weekly confirmed that Katie had moved on with John Hersey, another contestant on her Bachelorette season. She eliminated the California native, 28, during week two of the competition. The couple celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together earlier this week, and Katie commemorated the occasion with a poem shared via Instagram. “My heart danced in a way that was new. A crowded room but felt like us two,” she wrote on Monday, February 14. “Some talk about Cupid or love at first sight. I never understood until that very same night. Your eyes, that smile, you energized my soul. You ignited my world, leaving me whole. Once you found a rose floating at sea. I can't help but think we were always meant to be.” Season 2 of Love Is Blind is now streaming via Netflix. Part two premieres on Friday, February 18. |
Hollywood’s Broken Engagements: Stars That Didn't Make It Down the Aisle Posted: 16 Feb 2022 11:56 AM PST If it's meant to be, it'll be. Hollywood has produced many goal-worthy romances through the years, including Chrissy Teigen and John Legend as well as John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, but not all celebrity couples have been as lucky to make their way to the altar. John Cena and Nikki Bella became WWE's "It Couple" after going public with their romance in 2012. The twosome got engaged in 2017, but they exclusively confirmed their split to Us Weekly in April 2018. While they reconciled shortly after, Cena and Bella broke up for good that July. "The one thing I really regret about showcasing the breakup [on my show Total Bellas] is that no one got to hear [John's] voice, and it just seemed so one-sided," she told Health magazine in its January/February 2020 issue. "I felt like that wasn't fair to him because he was on this journey with us from the beginning. What people don't realize is that John never took one paycheck from Total Bellas. It was beautiful — he was fully there to support me." It all worked out in the end for the former flames. In October 2020, the Blockers actor quietly wed girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh. Meanwhile, Bella got engaged to Dancing With the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev in November 2019, and they welcomed their son, Buddy, in July 2020. Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, for their part, began dating in May 2018 after ending their long-term relationships with Mac Miller and Cazzie David, respectively. They got engaged that June, only to call it quits four months later. In Vogue's August 2019 cover story, the "Positions" singer called her relationship with the Saturday Night Live star "an amazing distraction," adding: "It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn't know him." Davidson has since been linked to Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley and Kaia Gerber. As for Grande, she was briefly linked to Social House singer Mikey Foster before finding love with Los Angeles real estate agent Dalton Gomez in mid-2020. Unlike Cena and Bella as well as Grande and Davidson, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler did make it down the aisle despite initially calling off their three-month engagement in 2011. After tying the knot in 2013 and becoming parents to three children, they revealed their separation in April 2020. Though their divorce battle got off to a rough start, the Very Cavallari alums have worked to establish a good coparenting relationship. "There's good days and bad days, but I'm feeling really good right now," the Uncommon James founder told Us in October 2020. "I'm feeling really happy and really free and that's a nice feeling." Aaron Rodgers, Shailene Woodley's Whirlwind Romance: The Way They Were Posted: 16 Feb 2022 11:47 AM PST Who manifested who? Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers' whirlwind relationship had fans talking from beginning to end. According to Woodley, the pair met sometime in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. Though rumors about a potential romance were sparked in July 2020, the relationship was kept tightly under wraps for some time after. Fans only found out the couple were dating a few days before their engagement was announced on February 6, 2021. Rodgers previously dated race car driver Danica Patrick. The two began dating in January 2018 and broke up in July 2020. The former pair met in 2012 at the ESPY Awards, years before their romance began. "We both remember meeting each other, it was quick," Patrick said on Jenny McCarthy‘s SiriusXM show in May 2018. "I got his email address, and I remember thinking to myself, 'Oh, not a phone number? Just an email address?'" Before Rodgers, Woodley dated rugby player Ben Volavola. The relationship was first confirmed when the activist posted an Instagram picture holding Volavola's hand in 2017. Following their breakup, the Divergent actress opened up to Bustle in April 2020 about her love life, admitting she'd previously used relationships to "distract" from getting acquainted with her own self. "I was in a relationship with someone and we were very much on the road to marriage and children," she said. "I realized I was still at an age where I wasn't able to fully commit. I couldn't be available to him in the way that I wanted to be. I didn't fully love myself." Both Woodley and Rodgers are fans of mindfulness. After announcing his engagement at the NFL Honors Dinner, the Super Bowl champion reminded people "to read books, to meditate, speak things to life, manifest the desires of your heart, question everything and spread love and positivity." Woodley has previously spoken about her relationship with anxiety and meditation as well. The twosome, however, parted ways more than one year after they were first linked. I didn’t really grow up with sports, especially American sports. Shailene Woodley’s Dating History: Aaron Rodgers, More Posted: 16 Feb 2022 11:41 AM PST Her private world. Shailene Woodley has kept her love life relatively out of the spotlight through the years, but her relationship with ex Aaron Rodgers was quick to make headlines. The actress strayed from her usual silence when it comes to her personal life in January 2018 when she confirmed her romance with Ben Volavola. She did so via Instagram, posting a photo of the pair kissing. She and the rugby player were first linked in 2017. However, she revealed in April 2020 that they had split. Us Weekly reported in February 2021 that Woodley was seeing Rodgers following his breakup from Danica Patrick. "Aaron and Shailene are dating!" a source told Us at the time. The Green Bay Packers quarterback then surprised fans days later when he announced that he "got engaged" in 2020, giving a shout-out to his "fiancée." He did not mention her by name, though. (Us confirmed in February 2022 that the pair called it quits.) Woodley's apprehension to detail specifics about her relationships has not stopped her from speaking out about her views on dating. "I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are," she told The Hollywood Reporter in March 2014. The Big Little Lies alum expanded on the topic in March 2015, telling Elle that she is "all-loving" and "heart-centered" in her approach. "When you're truly in love, for me, it's … you're my lighthouse!" she said. "You're somebody who holds me high, keeps me safe, you've got my f–kin' back. … You also love me whole, wild and free. You let me do me, and I'm gonna let you do you! And I'll be the home that you return to." Woodley opened up in April 2020 about what she had learned about relationships as of late. "I clearly see that it's important to sometimes slow down enough to understand the inner workings of your own heart and your own brain before you go looking for someone else to fill those gaps," she told Parade.com. "I don't really want anyone to come into my life to fill a void. I want them to come into my life to add to what I've already been able to create." How Mark Wahlberg 'Got in Trouble' With Wife Rhea on Valentine's Day Posted: 16 Feb 2022 11:36 AM PST A romance for the history books. Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham may not have followed the typical relationship rules, but their connection still grows stronger by the day. The pair began dating in 2001 and welcomed their first child together, daughter Ella Rae, two years later. They went on to have three more children: sons Michael and Brendan in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and daughter Grace in 2010. It wasn’t until August 2009 that the Entourage executive producer and the former model finally tied the knot. The duo exchanged their vows in a romantic and intimate ceremony at a Catholic church in Beverly Hills with their children and a few close family members in attendance. One year before his nuptials, the “Good Vibrations” artist applauded his soon-to-be-wife with helping him become more of a family man after his rocky past. As a teen, Wahlberg experienced a handful of run-ins with the law, but was willing to take on the responsibilities of fatherhood after falling for Durham. “I owe a lot to my wife,” he told the U.K.’s The Sun in 2008. “She has helped me become the man that I am and created a beautiful life for me and our children. … You need the right woman in your life and that feeling that you’re going to be together for a long time. That’s especially important if you’re going to have children.” Despite his storied Hollywood career, Wahlberg and Durham have tried to keep their children grounded and grateful. In May 2014, the Daddy’s Home star opened up about the couple’s secrets to parenting success in the spotlight. “I think the most important thing is to always be involved in every aspect of their life,” he told Esquire at the time. “The biggest thing for me is, you know, as quickly as I was able to turn it around, to get from there to here, from me having nothing as a kid to me here now, providing everything for my kids, it’s like, I worry that maybe they won’t appreciate things. I worry that maybe they’ll have a sense of entitlement. You don’t wanna give your kids everything without giving them the tools to be great people.” Scroll down to relive Wahlberg and Durham’s unconventional love story. ![]() The couple started dating in 2001, and nearly 20 years later, shared one of their earliest photos together as part of the viral "First Photo Challenge" on Instagram. I'm like, 'Holy s--t,'" Wahlberg joked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "So, I try to figure it out. I did have the flowers coming anyway and a card, but we were supposed to go on a trip. So hopefully, she'll still go with me on the trip." After the misunderstanding, Wahlberg attempted to salvage the night with a dinner reservation, but Durham wanted to go on a different day instead.
