Posted: 14 Feb 2022 05:01 PM PST

The look of love! Tom Brady, Reese Witherspoon and Diane Kruger are among the many celebrities who celebrated Valentine's Day in style this year.

The former New England Patriots quarterback, 44, honored his wife, Gisele Bündchen, on Monday, February 14, with a special gift. Brady planted a tree through the Plant a Billion Trees organization in order to help create a better world.

"Love you fir now and always," the message (with pun intended) for the Brazil native, 41, read. Bündchen, who is a vocal environmentalist, also donated a tree for Brady on the holiday.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion made sure to celebrate the other special lady in his life, daughter Vivian, on Monday as well. "Valentines x2," Brady wrote via his Instagram Story alongside a photo of his wife and their 9-year-old daughter.

The retired athlete also shares 12-year-old son Benjamin with Bündchen and 14-year-old son Jack with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

Witherspoon, 45, on the other hand, was treated to a bouquet of red roses and a big box of chocolates from her husband, Jim Toth, on the romantic occasion. (She and 51-year-old Toth share 9-year-old son Tennessee. The Legally Blonde actress is also mother of 22-year-old daughter Ava and 18-year-old son Deacon, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.)

The National Treasure star, 45, showed her partner, Norman Reedus, some love via social media on Monday. The Walking Dead actor, 53, then returned the favor, writing, "Happy Valentine's Day angel ❤."

Christina Haack revealed that her fiancé, Joshua Hall, gave her a unique V-Day gift a few days before the official holiday. (The lovebirds announced their engagement in September 2021 after going public with their romance two months prior.)

"Thank you, Josh for surprising me with the cutest custom surfboard by @robinhiersart – literally obsessed 🤩," the 38-year-old HGTV star wrote via Instagram on Saturday, February 12, unveiling her custom surfboard. "Can't wait to display it in our home. Love you baby 💗. 🏄‍♀️🍾💓."

Flowers! Handbags! See the Kardashian-Jenners' Lavish Valentine’s Gifts

Posted: 14 Feb 2022 04:58 PM PST

Feeling the love. The Kardashian-Jenner family goes big for all holidays, and Valentine’s Day 2022 was no different with elaborate flower displays, balloon bouquets and designer gifts.

Though Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West one year ago after nearly seven years of marriage, the rapper, 44, seemingly sent his estranged wife a truck full of flowers.

“MY VISION IS KRYSTAL KLEAR 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹” he captioned a photo of a truck bearing the same slogan via Instagram on Monday, February 14. The bed of the vehicle was overflowing with flowers and he tagged his estranged spouse in the post.

The KKW Beauty founder — who shares children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, with the “Donda” performer — was in New York with boyfriend Pete Davidson for an early Valentine’s Day celebration on Saturday, February 12. West shared a snap from her date night, cropping out the 28-year-old’s head.

“I DON'T HAVE BEEF WITH KIM[.] I LOVE MY FAMILY SO STOP THAT NARRATIVE,” the Yeezy designer wrote via Instagram on Monday. “IM NOT GIVING UP ON MY FAMILY … I HAVE FAITH THAT WE'LL BE BACK TOGETHER.”

Davidson is “taking the mature route” and "staying far away from Kanye," a source told Us Weekly exclusively on Monday. "He's not afraid of [Kanye] — he just doesn't want to get involved in the divorce drama."

Kardashian, 41, has not yet responded to West’s apparent gift, opting to keep her Valentine’s Day promotional, modeling a Skims bikini for followers.

Her siblings had a less dramatic Valentine’s. Kylie Jenner, who welcomed her son, Wolf, with Travis Scott earlier this month, showed off her elaborate decorations. The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 24, had soft pink and white flower displays throughout her home. A large pink bear statue served as a visual centerpiece.

While the Kardashian-Jenner clan always show off their Christmas Gingerbread Houses, they showed off smaller editions decorated for Valentine’s Day via their respective Instagram Stories. Kylie’s pink and red confection showed a family of four, representing her, the 30-year-old rapper, daughter Stormi, 4, and newborn son Wolf.

Kourtney Kardashian, who got engaged to Travis Barker in October 2021, showed off a similar sugary house, but the 42-year-old needed more space for her big family. In addition to the couple, the Poosh founder’s kids with ex Scott Disick, son Mason, 12, daughter Penelope, 9, and son Reign, 7, were represented alongside Barker and ex-wife Shanna Moakler‘s children. The names of Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16, were included in addition to Barker’s stepdaughter, Atiana, 22, whom Moakler shares with Oscar De La Hoya.

While the Blink-182 rocker appeared to shower his fiancée with flowers, he wasn’t the only one to send love on Valentine’s. Mom Kris Jenner sent a Louis Vuitton handbag with a heart-shaped card to her eldest daughter on Monday.

Still not on good terms? Meghan McCain voiced her displeasure with The View host Joy Behar after seeing her former coworker throwing shade her way.

“Imagine spending your Valentines Day trolling your ex colleagues tweet about her husband,” McCain, 37, who is married to Ben Domenech, tweeted on Monday, February 14, alongside a screenshot of Behar’s since-deleted comment.

Earlier that day, the Arizona native shared a sweet tribute to her husband, 40, writing, “Happy Valentines Day Ben ⁦@bdomenech⁩ – I love you and am grateful every day for the life we have together.”

Behar, 79, later replied “apparently” after a social media user questioned McCain if “every thought and sentiment” needed to be posted on social media.

The Dirty Sexy Politics author also noted how uncomfortable she felt with her former cohost discussing her, tweeting, “It's pathetic and it creeps me out.”

The twosome had several significant arguments on-air after McCain joined the daytime talk show in 2017 for season 21. After returning to The View following a three-month maternity leave in her final year on the show, the columnist made headlines when she got into a back and forth with the New York native.

"You missed me so much, Joy. You missed me so much when I was on maternity leave. You missed fighting with me, McCain jokingly told Behar during a segment in January 2021 when the veteran cohost called her out for interrupting.

“I did not. I did not miss you. Zero,” the former Joy Behar Show host clapped back, which McCain later referred to as a “nasty” and “rude” response.

At the time, McCain admitted that it was “a rough reentry back” to The View.

“I had a really hard birth. I had a really hard time getting back to work,” the television personality, who welcomed daughter Liberty in September 2020, explained during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen shortly after her spat with Behar raised eyebrows. “Even if some people didn’t miss me, I missed the show, we’re a family. All these women were at my dad’s funeral. We’ve been through a lot of s–t together, and I missed being on the show.”

She added: “I hope that we can all be examples, myself included, of where the country should go forward. Because whether we like it or not, I’m not going anywhere on the show, Joy’s not going anywhere on the show — we all have to live and coexist with each other, just like Americans right now, which is a little deep for an answer, but we’re all gonna try to coexist and I really wanna have us all move forward.”

In July 2021, McCain announced that she was leaving the ABC show because her previous move to Washington, D.C. changed her plans for the future. McCain later revealed that that she struggled to feel included while working on The View.

“When you come in as a host, you are a rotating peg on a carousel, and you'll be in and out. It doesn't breed an environment where you're close. It feels siloed. There was no collaboration,” she detailed during an interview with Variety in October 2021, two months after her last episode aired. “At a certain point, I made the decision it was more important to be honest than to be liked.”

The WandaVision actress, 35, clarified that she and her fiancé, 42, are wearing their wedding rings already just because they like them.

“We’re not married yet, but we went to buy our wedding bands,” the 2 Broke Girls alum explained during a Monday, February 14, appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “And then we were like, ‘Why don’t we just wear them? Who cares?’ And that’s the end of that story.”

The Thor star and the “Party Hard” singer announced their engagement in May 2021 just one week after going public with their romance. "Don't mind if I do @AndrewWK," Dennings wrote via Instagram at the time, showing off a photo of her sparkler. The musician replied to the post with a ring emoji.

“Andrew is the first and luckily the last man Millie has ever loved,” the Pennsylvania native told Ellen DeGeneres on Monday. “She has despised every other romantic person in my existence. She once waited overnight until an ex left the house, and she peed on his pillow like it was her job.”

The Dollface star went on to note that W.K. is normally allergic to cats, but he “miraculously” hasn’t had any problems with Millie. “Maybe Millie’s not a cat,” the talk show host, 64, quipped.

While it’s not clear when the twosome first met, Dennings flirted with the rocker via Twitter all the way back in 2014. "You are a tall drink of milk AWK,” she tweeted at the time, in response to a photo of himself that the “I’m in Heaven” performer had shared.

‘Bachelor’ Stars Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham’s Romance Timeline

Posted: 14 Feb 2022 04:25 PM PST

A love story like no other! Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are beating the reality TV odds.

Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham met while filming season 22 of The Bachelor, which aired in 2018. Though he initially picked Becca Kufrin to be his final rose recipient, he later broke off their engagement to explore his connection with the former technology salesperson.

Now, they are one of the couples from the popular franchise who are still going strong. The former race car driver proposed to Burnham during his season's After the Final Rose special, and they tied the knot in 2019 at the Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii.

Their wedding was officiated by longtime Bachelor host Chris Harrison, who revealed he got "emotional" during the magical day. "The same thing is said over and over, and that is they're perfect together, they fit together, they complement each other," he said shortly after the ceremony to Us Weekly exclusively. "Pretty much everybody [is] saying the same thing in a different way."

While raving about his love story with Burnham, Luyendyk Jr. explained how he knew she was The One. "I just kind of fell in love with her before I really knew who she was," he told GQ in 2018. "I know that sounds kind of crazy, but I think there is that type of love out there where you just are blown away from the moment you meet somebody. That’s kind of how it was with her."

The Bachelor Nation couple, who moved to Phoenix, Arizona, together before their winter nuptials, welcomed a daughter named Alessi Ren in May 2019. They have since explained how they have "transitioned well into being parents" to their little one.

"I always loved kids, but I wasn't one of those people who was like, 'I was born to be a mom,'" the Virginia native told Scottsdale Lifestyle magazine in July 2020. "But now that she's here, I look back and feel like this is what I was meant to do — to be her mom."

Meanwhile, the former Bachelorette contestant noted how "hard" parenting can initially be. "They just hand you your baby and they're like, 'Good luck,'" he told the publication at the time. "But I feel like we've really got it down now. It took a year, but we're doing good! It's the most fun chapter of my life."

Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham announced in December 2020 that they are expecting twins. Sharing the milestone via Instagram, the Netherlands-born star wrote: "2 little miracles. Love them with all my heart already ❤."

From their brief breakup to starting their own family, scroll through for their romance timeline.

Kanye Shares Kim's Alleged Texts, Warns Fans Not to Get 'Physical' With Pete

Posted: 14 Feb 2022 04:23 PM PST

Continuing the feud. As Kim Kardashian's romance with Pete Davidson has continued to heat up, her estranged husband, Kanye West, has attacked his ex's new man on social media and in song.

The Yeezy designer made headlines in February 2022, claiming his Donda 2 partnership with Kid Cudi had been terminated over the Ohio native's friendship with the Saturday Night Live star.

"Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he's friends with you know who," West wrote on lined paper, which he then shared via Instagram in a now-deleted post. "We all speak in Billie [Eilish] language now."

Cudi, for his part, replied: "Too bad I don't wanna be on ur album u f—in dinosaur hahaha. Everyone knows I've been the best thing about ur albums since I met u. Ima pray for u brother."

West later doubled down on the pair's beef when he shared a series of lengthy Instagram disses one day later, even alleging that Davidson — who began dating the Skims mogul in late 2021 — is unable to meet his four children with Kardashian: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

"NO YOU WILL NEVER MEET MY CHILDREN," the Illinois native wrote via Instagram one day after his post slamming Kid Cudi, sharing what appeared to be a text message exchange with the Guy Code alum.

Davidson allegedly wrote via text: "As a man, I'd never get [in the] way of your children. That's a promise. How you guys [go about] raising your kids is your [business] and not mine. I do hope [one] day I can meet them and we [can] all be friends."

While neither Davidson nor Kardashian immediately addressed the record producer's claims, West alleged his account had not been "hacked" nor did anyone else post the recent allegations on his feed.

"MY ACCOUNT IS NOT HACKED," West wrote via Instagram shortly after sharing the text message screenshot, alongside a snap of himself holding up a piece of paper with the date. "I WILL BE AT SUNDAY SERVICE AT NOON AND WILL [be] TAKING NORTH AND SAINT TO THE SUPERBOWL SHORTLY AFTER. [Michael Che] I'LL DOUBLE WHATEVER THEY PAYING YOU JUST SO YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT PAWN EVER AGAIN BIG LOVE."

The Big Time Adolescence star and the Selfish author were first linked in October 2021, weeks after connecting on the set of SNL.

"Kim and Pete are getting serious. Things have definitely escalated quickly but in a healthy, fun way," an insider exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2021. "Right now, they are just enjoying their time together and seeing where things go."

Ahead of Kardashian's new romance, she filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage. Though she’s moved on, Kardashian hoped the pair could amicably coparent their four children, even referring to herself as West's "biggest cheerleader" in Vogue's March 2022 cover story.

"You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be 'Your dad's the best.' … No matter what you're personally going through," the KKW Beauty entrepreneur said at the time. "For so long, I did what made other people happy and I think in the last two years I decided, I'm going to make myself happy. And that feels really good. … I think it's important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I've chosen myself. I think it's OK to choose you."

The "Heartless" performer — who has since been linked to Julia Fox — has continued to allege that he wanted his family back together.

“LOOK AT THIS D—KHEAD I WONDER IF INSTAGRAM GONNA SHUT DOWN MY PAGE FOR DISSING HILARY CLINTON’S EX BOYFRIEND,” West shared a cropped photo of Davidson and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum via Instagram in February 2022, referencing Davidson’s throwback tattoo of Hillary Clinton. 'Selling a Narrative'
The Grammy winner photoshopped the Venom movie poster with his and Davidson’s faces, including a subtle diss at the comedian’s friend, Machine Gun Kelly. “THIS AINT ABOUT SKETE PEOPLE IT’S ABOUT SELLING YALL A NARRATIVE SKETE JUST PLAYING HIS PART IN FROZEN 3 ACCEPT ITS NOT IN THE THEATERS THIS TIME,” West wrote via Instagram. “ITS ON DAILY MAIL [sic] TELL BOB [Chapek, the head of Disney] AND THE ENTIRE DISNEY STAFF YOU WAISTED YOUR MONEY ON STARWARS AND MARVEL BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH IT MAKES MONEY YOU WILL NEVER CONTROL THE HIGHSCHOOLS NO ONES EVER HEARD A MACHINE GUN KELLY SONG BOB.” Shutterstock (2)

A Trending Topic
After realizing his name was trending higher than the big game on Super Bowl Sunday, West shared another dig at Davidson in February 2022. "HOLD YOUR SPOUSE CLOSE MAKE SURE THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE AND APPRECIATE THEM BECAUSE THERES A SKETE LURKING IN EVERY DIRTY ASS ALLEY WAITING TO HELP DESTROY YOUR FAMILY AND WALK AROUND IN CALVIN KLEINS AROUND YOUR CHILDREN," he wrote in part. He continued, adding, "I WISH MY WIFE WAS WITH ME AND OUR CHILDREN SITTING AT THE 50 YARD LINE @kimkardashian ALWAYS REMEMBER WEST WAS YOUR BIGGEST W." His Message to Pete
After thanking fans for their support in February 2022, West revealed he had a new request for his followers, writing, “IF YOU SEE SKETE IN REAL LIFE SCREAM AT YHE LOOSER AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS AND SAY KIMYE FOREVER 💔.” Shutterstock (3)
Kim Calls for Peace
In February 2022, West shared a text allegedly from Kardashian, which read, "U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault."  The rapper captioned the Instagram post, "UPON MY WIFE'S REQUEST PLEASE NOBODY DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL TO SKETE IM GOING TO HANDLE THE SITUATION MYSELF." He also posted another screenshot of him seemingly responding to his estranged wife, writing, "I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever. And I listened to you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete." Later that night, West shared another screenshot of a text allegedly sent by his ex. "Why can't you keep any of our conversations private???" she asked. West responded, "Because I got a text from my favorite person in the world," adding that he is her "number one fan." He continued, asking, "Why wouldn't I tell everyone!!!!!" Shutterstock (3)

Final Rose worthy! Andi Dorfman's relationship with boyfriend Blaine Hart is heating up — and getting serious.

"We've said a lot of things, a lot of cliché phrases like, 'Timing is everything,' 'When you know, you know,'" Hart, 35, exclusively told Us Weekly at Sports Illustrated The Party x Palm Tree Crew presented by ABG Entertainment and Talent Resources Sports in L.A. on Saturday, February 12.

While the two are not yet engaged — "I will tell you guys first, after we tell our parents," the reality star, 34, promised Us — fans have known their relationship was something special ever since Dorfman, who has kept details of her love life to a minimum after her 2015 split from Bachelorette winner Josh Murray, shared a photo kissing Hart in December 2021.

The It’s Not Okay author decided to go public with her relationship with Hart because she "met someone that I wanted everyone to know about,” she told Us. “It sounds cliché, but shout from the rooftops, I was like, ‘I want everyone to know how happy I am in love.’" The positive reaction from followers only makes her "want to even go deeper and share more of it because I realize people are actually happy for me to find love."

The commercial real estate professional is just as smitten. "Where do I start?" Hart, who admitted to not seeing his girlfriend's season of The Bachelorette, asked Us. "I think we have a great chemistry, a good connection. She's very smart, also very funny, keeps me laughing … The list is long, but the humor is at the top."

As for their meet-cute, the couple actually reunited this past summer — 15 years after they originally met through a friend. "He was kind of hitting me up a little bit," Dorfman explained to Us about reconnecting last year. "And then we were both in Italy [on separate vacations] … And he basically said, 'I want to take you out for drinks.' … [We've] been together ever since!"

While the pair went into the relationship with "no expectations," the Georgia native couldn't help but be taken by Hart immediately. "When he walked into the bar … I was like, 'Dang, he's so cute,'" she gushed to Us.

The happy couple are currently "splitting time" between South Carolina (where Hart lives) and L.A. (where Dorfman is based), but hopefully not for long. "I'm trying to convince him [to move to L.A.]," Dorfman told Us.

Andrew Garfield Spotted Holding Hands With Alyssa Miller After Tennis Date

Posted: 14 Feb 2022 04:09 PM PST

Under-the-radar romance. Andrew Garfield has attempted to keep his private life out of the spotlight since skyrocketing to success.

The Tony nominee’s most high-profile relationship began in 2012 after playing the Peter Parker to Emma Stone‘s Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man. The pair’s chemistry on set was so strong that it led to a real-life love story.

“She keeps you on your toes and that wakes you up. That was the beginning,” he told MTV News in June 2012, admitting that he was “so happy” when he learned Stone had accepted the role after their screen test. “Those are the days I’d look forward to, you know? For [my character] Peter as well, because Peter goes through some horrible stuff in the movie. There’s some joy to be had when experiencing his first love.”

The costars returned for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014, one year before they called it quits.

“They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close,” an insider told Us Weekly of the breakup. “It just wasn’t working.

Despite their split, the former couple continued to be each other’s biggest cheerleaders, often gushing over their individual successes.

We care about each other so much, and that’s a given, that’s kind of this unconditional thing,” the Tick Tick … Boom! star said on Vanity Fair‘s “Little Gold Men” podcast in January 2017. “There’s so much love between us and so much respect. … I’m her biggest fan as an artist. So for me, it’s been bliss to be able to watch her success and watch her bloom into the actress that she is. And it’s been wonderful to have that kind of support for each other. It’s nothing but a beautiful thing.”

The Oscar winner went on to marry Dave McCary in 2020 and they welcomed a child the following March.

Garfield, for his part, has tried to lay low when it comes to his relationships since splitting from Stone.

“I’m not in the public eye to a great degree because I’ve designed it that way for myself,” he told Bustle in November 2021. “For my work, I’m fine with it, but otherwise I fight for my right for a private, personal life. My right to be ordinary. My right to be a mess. My right to be sorrowful. My right to lose, to get it wrong, to be stupid, to be a person.”

He continued at the time: “If you’re in a committed monogamous relationship, there’s something very beautiful about the sacrifice of other possibilities. You make that connection sacred and it intensifies the joy of it and the specialness of it.”

Shortly after ending things with Woodward, the Amazing Spider-Man costars sparked a real-life romance. "We got on really well as people, in between [takes]," he told MTV News in 2012. Katie Thurston Gushes About 'Love at First Sight' in V-Day Tribute to John

Posted: 14 Feb 2022 03:54 PM PST

Even Katie Thurston didn't know what she was promising when she declared her Bachelorette ending was a "first" for the franchise.

After appearing on season 25 of The Bachelor, which aired in early 2021, ABC named the Washington native their season 17 star. She subsequently started filming in Palm Springs and met 30 contestants, including bartender John Hersey. She sent the California native home during week two of the competition.

Blake Moynes, who originally competed on season 16 of The Bachelorette in 2020, joined the cast when there were 14 men remaining. The Canada native admitted that he reached out to Thurston while Matt James' season was airing and felt like they would have a connection. After two of Thurston's top four quit — Greg Grippo and Michael Allio — she gave Moynes her final rose, sending home Justin Glaze.

Thurston and Moynes' proposal aired on the August 2021 finale of The Bachelorette. The twosome told Us Weekly at the time that they weren't in a rush to move in together as they navigated their post-show future. By October, she admitted to Us that the twosome were "winging" things as Moynes traveled to Africa for work.

"The short version is we're figuring it out. We don't know. This is very new to us still. I'm just focusing on myself, he's focusing on him, and if we work doing that, great. If not —” Thurston told Us before trailing off backstage at Whitney Cummings' comedy show.

Days after the performance, Thurston and Moynes announced their engagement was over. She subsequently told her Instagram followers that the twosome "owe it to each other to step away" from their relationship because it wasn't working.

"We were together for six months [and] Blake and I are very level-headed and mature, and we communicate very well on our thoughts," Thurston told fans on October 31, 2021. "And we just both knew if this was how our first six months was as a couple, going forward it was going to not be in our best interest for our happiness to stay together."

Moynes, for his part, admitted things haven't "been easy" for him as he returned to social media post-split on November 9, 2021. Later that month, Us broke the news that Thurston was seeing Hersey. Her rep later confirmed the news via a statement: "It's known Katie and John became close friends post-season. John has been there for her through all the major changes in her life, and they are excited to explore this newly found romantic connection."

Scroll through for a complete timeline of her relationship with Hersey:

March 2021
During night one of Thurston’s season, which filmed in March 2021, she admitted that Hersey was her “type” when he walked out of the limo. By week two, however, she sent him packing.   ABC/Craig Sjodin
Summer 2021
In May 2021, Thurston nearly ran into Hersey at a San Diego beach with friends. “John is surfing on this exact beach — very, very randomly, a rose floats by in the water. And he's like, ‘That's incredibly strange.’ … Just a very strange occurrence,” the duo’s mutual friend Stephen Lovegrove later recalled on Us’ “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast in September 2021. “He surfs, he goes home, we take photos, we get ice cream, we go home. And later that afternoon, John sees from Katie's account, all these photos go up and realizes as he was surfing with this random rose floating by, he was literally 100 feet away from the Bachelorette, who he had just filmed this season [with]. It was such a random coincidence that we didn't find out about till a long time later.” During that trip, Thurston was also spotted at Duke’s in La Jolla, where Hersey was a bartender. As her season aired in summer 2021, there was a fan theory that she got back together with Hersey due to the photos from the bar. “Through all of that speculation, at some point, I reached out to John and made a joke about I hope you and Katie are doing so well,” Lovegrove told Us. “And anyway, our friendship was born out of all of that. But yes, the Duke’s trip that threw off every spoiler page by total accident happened in the midst of the now-infamous San Diego trip [that sparked the love triangle with Alana Milne, Chris Conran and Jessenia Cruz on Bachelor in Paradise], as well.”   ABC/Craig Sjodin
August 2021
Despite his early departure, Hersey was always team Thurston, defending her after she accused finalist Greg Grippo of gaslighting her during their messy split on an August episode. “I watched [Monday] night's episode and was shocked by some of the behavior I witnessed, namely the words and body language exhibited by Greg,” Hersey wrote via Instagram Stories at the time. "Watching these actions get defended (and therefore normalized) strikes me as extremely unhealthy and a step in the wrong direction.” He added: "An individual can be a good friend to some while simultaneously being harmful to others in another relationship. Friendship cannot be an excuse to blindly defend someone's behavior.” ABC/Craig Sjodin
September 2021
After moving to San Diego, Thurston continued to spend time with Hersey amid her long-distance relationship with Moynes. She previously told Cummings that Moynes was OK with her hanging out with her former suitor. “He’s not intimidated by anything. I’m actually really close friends with John Hersey, which is a week two guy from my season, which I think most men would be like, ‘Well that’s kind of weird,’ but [Blake’s] just like, ‘Do your thing, whatever,’” Thurston said on the September 30 episode of the comedian’s “Good For You” podcast. October 2021
After spending the month apart amid his work trip to Africa, Thurston and Moynes reunited and announced their split on October 25, 2021. “It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently,” the twosome wrote via Instagram at the time. “We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.”   ABC/Craig Sjodin
November 2021
Social media began to speculate about Thurston’s relationship with Hersey after she shared a picture of the flowers she received following her split from Moynes with a note that read: “These are not romantic flowers. These are happy flowers. Because I do not want you to be… I want you to be happy.” Bachelor Nation was convinced that the note was from Hersey. Three days later, Thurston posted a throwback video on November 7 of “the first time I saw John since filming.” She then hinted that fans weren’t on the right track by sharing Polaroid photos with him, writing, “Y’all getting wild in my DMs."   Courtesy Katie Thurston/Instagram
November 2021
Thurston began her “12 Days of Messy” challenge in mid-November, dedicating Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” to her former fiancé. On the final day of assigning songs for her exes, she dropped a video with Hersey set to “Begin Again.” Us broke the news on November 23 that Thurston is dating Hersey. November 2021
The lovebirds packed on the PDA in a TikTok video just hours after Us confirmed their romance on November 23. Hersey gave fans a look inside their budding relationship, including him giving Thurston a piggyback ride and a kiss as Mina Okabe’s “Every Second” played in the background. “I really like it here,” he captioned the video, to which Thurston replied, “Me too.” Courtesy John Hersey/TikTok(2)

December 2021
The pair hit the red carpet for the second time at the 2021 People's Choice Awards. After the ceremony, Thurston revealed that Hersey wore the same suit he was wearing during the episode of The Bachelorette where she sent him home. "I mean, we had to re
