| Matthew Stafford's Wife Kelly Was 'Hesitant' to Be in Rams Super Bowl Doc Posted: 26 Feb 2022 12:17 PM PST Sharing her story. Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly Stafford (née Hall) is gearing up to relive her most memorable experience as a football wife yet in Peacock's upcoming docuseries episode about the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl experience — but it nearly didn't happen. "EARNIN' IT NFL documentary episode comes out this Sunday on @peacocktv," Kelly, 32, captioned a trailer for the special via Instagram on Friday, February 25. "Was hesitant to be mic'd up and followed for the Super Bowl. Tune in to find out if that was a good idea or not Earnin' It: The NFL's Forward Progress airs weekly episodes via Peacock, providing a deep dive into the women of the football league, including football wives, coaches, office managers and more. The Sunday, February 27, episode is set to follow Kelly as the spouse of a successful NFL star amid the championship game.  "We've been through a lot as a family in the past five years," the "Morning After" podcast host said in the trailer for the docuseries. "I felt like that hug [after the Rams won the NFC playoffs] was just releasing all of it. Again, all the expectations and he got there, and it was just kind of, 'You did it.'" She added: "We are in our home city so I'm trying to make it where it's a normal week, which is tough because there's a lot going on." The Rams — led by the 34-year-old former Detroit Lions athlete — played the Cincinnati Bengals during Super Bowl LVI on February 13. After a back-and-forth game, the Rams took the lead in the fourth quarter, winning 23-20. Kelly, who married the quarterback in April 2015, has since been a proud supporter of her man's impressive victory. "This is just so dope. I can't even fathom the internal feeling or personal and professional pride," the University of Georgia alum gushed via Instagram earlier this month. "He used to always talk about that. The personal and professional pride he took in the day to day." After the Rams' victory, Kelly and Matthew — who share four daughters — were at the center of controversy after seemingly walking away from a photographer who fell off the team's Super Bowl float during the victory parade on February 16. "We have been in communication with [photographer] Kelly Smiley since yesterday's incident and we are sorry for what happened," the couple and the Rams said in a joint statement one day later. Whether it's Taylor Swift's squad or the cast of the Avengers, these are the famous text chains every fan wishes they could be a part of. Luckily, Hollywood's biggest stars often give fans a bit of insight at what it's like inside these never-ending conversations with their close pals and costars. Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch described her cast's group chat as "lit," while the Dawson's Creek WhatsApp is more exclusive than you might imagine — just ask Busy Philipps. The Cougar Town alum exclusively told Us Weekly she was surprised to hear that her former costars — Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and James Van Der Beek — were constantly keeping in touch without her. "I was like, 'Oh, wow. OK, well, that's cool,'" Philipps said in 2018, before joking, "I have everyone's number individually. Should I just text them all together, like, 'Hey, guys. Want to include me in?'" Not every famous person agrees that more text threads are a good thing. One reason Philipps wasn't that upset about being left off the Dawson's Creek phone tree is because she has "enough group texts that drive me insane." The Freaks and Geeks alum told Us, "I truly cannot stand a group text. Because when people get going, and if you're in a meeting or you're doing something and then you get to your phone and you have like 40 missed texts, and you have to weed through." While foreign affairs can be difficult for many individuals to comprehend, Bill Maher broke down the current Russian invasion using a Kim Kardashian and Kanye West metaphor. "[There's] a lot of heavy news, right? A lot of s—t we've got to talk about tonight and, you know, there's war in Europe and we didn't think this would happen. But [Vladimir] Putin, goddamn it, he did it. He invaded Ukraine," Maher, 66, said during his Real Time With Bill Maher monologue on Friday, February 25. "Look, for those of you who only know me from the clips they show on TMZ, it's like Russia is Kanye and the Ukraine is Kim Kardashian and NATO is Pete Davidson." Russian troops invaded their democratic neighbor — who previously were members of the Soviet Union — on Thursday, February 24, after learning of their intentions to join international peacekeeping organization NATO. To explain the analogy, the comedian drew poignant parallels to the 41-year-old Skims mogul's ongoing divorce. "It just drives Russia crazy. Today, they demanded Billie Eilish‘s apology to Travis Scott," Maher joked, referencing the 44-year-old rapper's feud with the "Bad Guy" songstress earlier this year. | Bachelor’s Genevieve Parisi Apologizes for Partying With ‘F--k Shanae’ Sign Posted: 26 Feb 2022 10:11 AM PST  After Genevieve Parisi posed with a "F—k Shanae" sign alongside several of her fellow The Bachelor contestants, she has since apologized for her actions. "Regarding the sign brought out at the club last night, I just want to reiterate that we didn't ask for it and didn't know it was coming to our table," Genevieve, 26, wrote via Instagram Story on Friday, February 25. "That being said, it was insensitive for me to video it and post it to Instagram. Nobody is perfect and I'm learning as I go. Shortly after taping of the "Women Tell All" special, many of the season 26 alums gathered in Los Angeles to celebrate the birthdays of fellow contestants Elizabeth Corrigan and Marlena Wesh. The group shared social media footage on Thursday, February 24, at a club, where they were gifted a "F—k Shanae" sign by the Doheny Room employees. The sign seemingly referenced contestant Shanae Ankney's status as a villain throughout Clayton Echard's season.  "The best part about this is we didn't even ask for it," Genevieve wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, sharing snaps from the festivities. "They just knew." While Shanae, 29, was not at the bash, her behavior has been a fixture throughout the ABC series, which began airing in January. The Ohio native had feuded with multiple contestants including Elizabeth, 32, whom she called "two-faced" to Clayton, 28, alleging that the real estate advisor had ignored her earlier that day. Elizabeth, for her part, later told Shanae that she had ADHD, which could have explained why she had not heard her name being called. | Why Sister Wives' Paedon Brown Doesn't Want Dad Kody to Have More Kids Posted: 26 Feb 2022 09:41 AM PST He’s had enough! Sister Wives star Paedon Brown has 17 brothers and sisters — and he thinks that’s plenty. “Dear God, I have enough siblings,” the reality star, 23, joked to Us Weekly on Thursday, February 24. “Please, no! I want to make this clear. I don’t want more kids in the family. Nieces and nephews are fine. No more kids with any wives, please!” Paedon’s father, Kody Brown, shares a total of 18 children with ex-wife Christine Brown and his three sister wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown. The Brown family patriarch, 53, wed Meri, 51, in 1990. The duo, who share daughter Mariah, 26, legally divorced in 2014 so that Kody could marry Robyn, 43, but they are still spiritually wed. Janelle, 52, became Kody’s second wife in 1993. The couple share Logan, 27, Madison, 26, Hunter, 25, Robert, 23, Gabriel, 21, and Savanah, 17. Christine, 49, married Kody in 1994. In addition to Paedon, the former spouses share daughters Aspyn, 26, Mykelti, 25, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11. The couple announced their split in November 2021. Robyn, who joined the family in 2010, shares son Solomon, 10, and daughter Ariella, 5, with Kody. After becoming spouses by law, the Wyoming native also officially adopted her three children from a previous marriage: Dayton, 22, Aurora, 19, and Breanna, 16. While his dad’s four marriages gave Paedon plenty of siblings, the Utah native isn’t interested in modeling the plural lifestyle for his own family one day. “I’ve known it since I was, like, 7. I’ve known it for most of my life,” he told Us. “That is not the life I want to live. … If you think it’s right for you, go for it.” The construction worker noted that his parents never tried to “force” polygamy on him or his siblings, several of whom are now happily married. “They have been supportive in just about everything we’ve done,” he explained. “Mariah coming out, they were very supportive. Me joining the army, they were very supportive. … To the best of my memory, I have never been pushed toward [polygamy] — toward anything.” The former National Guard member also thinks his mom is finished with plural marriage now that her romance with Kody is finished. “She’s honestly done with it, and that’s OK,” Paedon explained. “She’s grateful for the sister wives. "In October 2020 we had the privilege to meet President Zelenskyy and the First Lady to learn of their hope and optimism for Ukraine's future," the Duke of Cambridge, 39, and the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, wrote in a joint Twitter statement on Saturday, February 26. Their post continued: "Today we stand with the President and all of Ukraine's people as they bravely fight for that future  The royal couple's statement of support comes days after Russian President Vladimir Putin's troops began to invade the neighboring country on Thursday, February 24. William's brother, Prince Harry, issued his own statement, noting that he and wife Meghan Markle were hopeful for a peaceful outcome. "We stand with the people of Ukraine," the Duke of Sussex, 37, and the California native, 40, wrote in a joint statement via their Archewell website on Thursday. "Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and all of us at Archewell stand with the people of Ukraine against this breach of international and humanitarian law and encourage the global community and its leaders to do the same." While the parents of three — who share children Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3 — seldom make political statements, they have been spending more of their down time in Berkshire, England. "It's where Kate was raised and the place they feel most comfortable as a family whenever they go to visit which is a lot more often than people realize," a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. "The country life suits them so much better in terms of the pace and environment, plus it's not too far from London when they need to commute." Kodi Smit-McPhee is the breakout star of Power of the Dog, earning a 2022 Golden Globes, SAG Awards and Oscars nomination for his role. The 25-year-old actor — who plays the gangly, soft-spoken, feminine Peter in the film — took home the Golden Globes trophy in January for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. The film also earned the award for Best Motion Picture, Drama at the annual event. "Personally, it isn’t too far from home. I’m a bit strange myself, gone through school like that, and the world of this industry," Smit-McPhee said during a September 2021 Q&A after a screening of the movie at the Toronto International Film Festival. "Being in front of so many eyes like this, you just have to completely embrace that side of yourself. I saw something in Peter that I looked up to and I wanted to represent." In the movie, Peter must deal with his mother's (Kirsten Dunst) new partner, George (Jesse Plemons), and survive George’s bullying brother Phil (Benedict Cumberbatch) all while figuring out where he fits in amid the stereotypical tough guys of western Montana. | Ashton Kutcher Supports Wife Mila Kunis' Native Ukraine Amid Russian Invasion Posted: 26 Feb 2022 07:00 AM PST  Ashton Kutcher — whose wife, Mila Kunis, grew up in Ukraine — has issued a statement amid the recent unrest. "I stand with Ukraine," the Iowa native, 44, tweeted on Thursday, February 24. The Valentine's Day actor's 38-year-old wife, whom he wed in July 2015, was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. At the time, Ukraine was a member of the Soviet Union, which later became Russia. Kunis and her family immigrated to the United States when she was 7 years old. "My parents both had amazing jobs, and I was very lucky. We were not poor when we lived in Russia, whereas most people were very unfortunate," the Spy Who Dumped Me actress recalled to the Daily Telegraph in September 2011. "My parents had given up good jobs and degrees, which were not transferable. We arrived in New York on a Wednesday and by Friday morning my brother [Michael Kunis] and I were at school in LA." After the Black Swan star's parents — Mark and Elvira Kunis — sought to make a new life for their children, the Family Guy alum initially struggled to adapt. "Ultimately, I adjusted fairly quickly and fairly well, but it must have been hard because I blocked out second grade completely,” she told the Los Angeles Times in October 2008. “I have no recollection of it. I always talk to my mom and my grandma about it. It was because I cried every day. I didn't understand the culture. I didn't understand the people. I didn't understand the language. My first sentence of my essay to get into college was like, 'Imagine being blind and deaf at age seven.' And that's kind of what it felt like moving to the States. But I got over it pretty fast." The Bad Moms star visited her native country for the first time many years later alongside the Jobs actor, with whom she shares daughter Wyatt, 7, and son Dimitri, 5. "[I went to Ukraine] two months ago, for the first time. … It was trippy," Kunis told Net-a-porter.com in a November 2017 interview, per the U.K.'s Metro. "There's a part of you that wants to feel something towards [the place]. I had nothing. We landed and Ashton was like, 'No?' [and I was like], 'Yeah, nothing. I got nothing for you, babe.'" She continued at the time: "We went to our house and I knocked on the door because we really wanted to look inside. And [the new owner] was like, 'No!' She did not care. I said, 'I used to live here when I was little, my parents are here [with me].' She wouldn't even open the door. The whole experience was very humbling." The former That 70s Show costars have since moved into a renovated farmhouse in Los Angeles with their children. "We wanted the house to look like an old barn, something that had been here for decades, that was then converted into a house," the Thorn cofounder told Architectural Digest in June 2021. "But it also had to feel modern and relevant. … To feel tranquility in a space, everything needs to be in order. If the world around you isn't in order, it's hard to get your brain in order.
