Melissa Gorga Twins With Her Daughter In Self-Owned Fashion Line

Real Housewives of New Jersey reality TV star Melissa Gorga hasn't aged a day, and you can tell from these pictures with her 16-year-old daughter. The mother-daughter duo made many appearances in matching outfits this past month. Perhaps, it's the holiday spirit rubbing off on the pair, or they enjoy looking alike so much they dress alike too.

The RHONJ star often gushes about her love for her first child using phrases like, "My one and only," "My mini me," and "My beauty."

Melissa and Antonia attended the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball in matching black sequins outfits and boots. While Melissa wore a V-neck jumpsuit, Antonia chose a two-set number of black sequins pants and a white tank. Their resemblance is so uncanny they could pass for twins!

The older Gorga joked about being the cool mom for the night, saying, "This is when 'cool mom' comes into play <3." She further states that she had "an amazing night with my daughter."

Street Style

The Gorga ladies show their edgy side in street style Envy outfits. While mama Gorga is wearing a leather short-sleeved wrapped dress and knee-high boots, baby Gorga is wearing a shiny grey two-piece cropped top and pants. Melissa expresses how much she hopes her daughter "always sees how hard I work, and how much time I put into my store & anything I'm working on for that matter. I want her to have that boss woman drive! I want it to all be hers one day." Her daughter commented with heart and fire emojis in acknowledgment.

Twinning In Hair Extensions

Melissa jokes about Antonia liking her again. As a teenager, there's no doubt younger Gorga would clash with her mother every once in a while. Melissa thanks hairdresser Rachael Sackie for their morning hair session. In their matching brown body wave hairstyles, bare faces, and honey brown eyes, the pair can pass for doppelgangers. Antonia wears a white tank top while her mother puts on a nude blouse, both outfits from Envy by MG.

Matching From Childhood

In September, Melissa took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter on #nationaldaughtersday. The 46-year-old mother-of-three crowned the 16-year-old her one and only, and Antonia responded with two heart emojis. Melissa is a very proud mother as she celebrates Antonia's achievements on Instagram no matter how little. She expressed concerns over her torn ACL but the young cheerleader recovered like a champ.

Melissa also posted a throwback picture of them in matching yellow bikinis when Antonia was younger. It appears the Gorga ladies didn't start twinning outfits this year.

The Patriots have become one of the biggest powerhouses in the NFL under Bill Belichick's tough coaching, and not all players are always fond of his ways.

Fortunately for them, they've found a young quarterback that was used to something similar before entering the league.

Mac Jones used to play for Nick Saban, perhaps the greatest coach in college football history, so the transition wasn't that much of an issue for him.

When asked about whether Saban is similar to Belichick, the rookie out of Alabama didn't want to get into many details, simply stating that they're both perfectionists that will take care of every single minor detail:

"I've been asked this question a million times, but I think they are very similar in that they demand everything to be perfect and they know what it takes to win," Jones said, as quoted by ClutchPoints. "I've been blessed to play for great coaches.

Jones Is Thankful For The Teams He's Played For

Jones added that not only has he been blessed to play for great coaches, but also great assistants:

"I've been a part of great teams and I think we have a really good team here with great chemistry and not only a great coach, but great assistant coaches too," Jones continued. "He does a great job of explaining how to win and that's what a lot of great coaches do. You have to understand what it takes. You have to execute it and go out there and do it. That's what your job is, the players."

Jones Knows Facing Indy Will Be Tough

That tutelage has turned him into the kind of workaholic you need to be able to succeed in the NFL.

He's now making the most of the BYE week to prepare for a tough challenge against the Indianapolis Colts' top-notch defense.

"Like I said, reviewing the film and things that we can do better," Jones said told Yahoo Sports. "And then just getting away a little bit, taking the advice from the older people on our team. But also realizing that we have a big game coming up against Indy and they're a great team with a similar situation that we're in."

The Patriots are the hottest team in the NFL right now and it's not even close.

They're currently riding a seven-game winning streak and sitting at a 9-4 record, being in sole control of the AFC East.

However, Belichick, like Saban; won't be pleased with just dominating in the regular season and they still have some tough games ahead of them over the final four weeks.

NBA Rumors: Myles Turner Trade Would Turn Warriors Into 'Ultimate Contenders,' Per 'Sports Illustrated'

Though they are still playing without Klay Thompson, the Golden State Warriors are surprisingly doing well in the 2021-22 NBA season. As of now, the Warriors are on a two-game winning streak, sitting in the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference with a 23-5 record. However, despite currently being the best team in the league, they are still expected to be active on the market before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.

Having a plethora of interesting assets, the Warriors are in a strong position to acquire a quality player that would complement their star trio of Thompson, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green.

Warriors Should Target Myles Turner

One of the most realistic trade targets for the Warrior this season is veteran center Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers. With the Pacers set to undergo another rebuild, Turner is highly expected to be traded, together with other veterans on their roster. According to Ben Stinar of Sports Illustrated, trading for Turner would make the Warriors "ultimate contenders" in the league.

"I believe that the Warriors should trade for the former Texas star, because his rebounding, three-point shooting and shot-blocking could cement themselves as the ultimate contenders this season," Stinar wrote.

Myles Turner's On-Court Impact On Warriors

Turner may not be an All-Star, but he would still be an incredible addition to the Warriors. His potential arrival in Bay Area is expected to improve the Warriors' frontcourt and boost their performance on both ends of the floor. He would give them a very reliable scoring option under the basket, a great rebounder, a quality rim protector, and a decent floor-spacer.

This season, Turner is averaging 12.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from beyond the arc, per ESPN.

What The Warriors Could Offer For Myles Turner?

The Warriors and the Pacers would be ideal trade partners. By sending a win-now talent like Turner to Golden State, the Pacers would have the chance to acquire at least one of James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody from the Warriors.

"The Warrior have an abundance of young players to entice the Pacers if they want to enter into a rebuild of the roster," Stinar wrote. "James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody, are all players that simply won't sync up with the timeline of Curry, Green and Thompson. Meanwhile, getting one or two of them would help jump start a rebuild in Indiana."

Myles Turner Would Welcome A Warriors Trade

Though he has recently denied that he's demanding a trade from the Pacers, Turner would definitely be intrigued by the idea of playing for a great team like the Warriors. Compared to the Pacers, the Warriors could give Turner more playing time and a significant role on the offensive end of the floor, which are both vital to his development into a legitimate superstar in the league.

Also, joining forces with Curry, Thompson, and Green would give Turner a realistic chance of winning his first NBA championship title this season.

After a strong start, the New York Knicks are currently struggling in the 2021-22 NBA season. So far, they have lost eight of their last 10 games, sitting in the No. 12 spot in the Eastern Conference with a 12-16 record. With the way that they are playing right now, no one would be surprised if the Knicks finish the season as a lottery team.

If they are still serious about reaching the playoffs, the Knicks should strongly consider upgrading their roster before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.

Ben Simmons Linked To Knicks

One of the players that the Knicks could target on the trade market is All-Star point guard Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers. Rumors have been swirling around Simmons since the 2021 NBA offseason. With their worsening relationship, most people believe that Simmons' departure from the City of Brotherly Love is inevitable.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Knicks are one of the seven teams that have expressed interest in acquiring Simmons from the Sixers before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.,

Proposed Ben Simmons-To-Knicks Trade

In a recent article, Brett Siegel of NBA Analysis Network came up with a hypothetical blockbuster trade idea that would bring Simmons to Big Apple before the 2022 NBA trade deadline. In the proposed trade scenario, the Knicks would be sending a trade package that includes Evan Fournier, Kemba Walker, Obi Toppin, a 2022 first-round pick, a 2024 first-round pick, and the rights to swap first-round selections in 2023 and 2026 to the Sixers in exchange for Simmons and Isaiah Joe.

If the trade becomes a reality, Siegel believes it would help both teams in filling up the needs to improve on their roster.

Ben Simmons Improves Knicks' Defense

Though it would cost them multiple future draft assets, the proposed trade deal would be worth exploring for the Knicks. Simmons would give the Knicks another young star who perfectly fits the timeline of Julius Randle and RJ Barrett. Aside from being a reliable scorer and a great playmaker, Simmons is also an elite defender.

Having Simmons would help the Knicks improve their defensive efficiency that currently ranks No. 21 in the league, allowing 107.8 points per 100 possessions, according to ESPN.

Does The Trade Make Sense For Sixers?

Replacing Simmons with a veteran sharpshooter in Fournier, a former All-Star PG in Walker, and a talented prospect in Toppin would undeniably make the Sixers a more competitive team in the 2021-22 NBA season. However, it remains unknown if the Sixers would accept the Knicks' suggested offer for Simmons.

Since the 2021 NBA offseason, Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey has been informing everyone in the league that they are only trading Simmons for a package that includes an All-Star caliber player. Walker may be a four-time All-Star, but he's already on the wrong side of 30 and has shown a massive decline in his performance.

NFL Rumors: Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Calls Out Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys went from being one of the worst teams in the NFL last season to a big contender this year.

And, while their revamped defense has been the main reason behind their epic turnaround, having Dak Prescott back under center has also done wonder for Mike McCarthy's offense.

Then again, their talented quarterback has been far from efficient over the past month or so, and some are start wondering whether he's hit a wall and the league has figured him out already.

Prescott Is Slumping

Notably, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones seems to be a part of that group, as he recently admitted that his franchise QB is going through a bit of a slump:

"I don't want to say 'slump,' but that's probably fair," the controversial mogul said, as quoted by ProFootballTalk. "But it's such a multi-faceted evaluation that I would say that our offense is definitely away from where we were playing five and six games ago from the standpoint of production. What the opposing defenses has to do with it needs to be considered."

Dak Will Figure Things Out

Even so, Jones lauded Prescott's work ethic and determination to improve, stating that it's only a matter of time before he shakes that off and goes back to being his usual self:

"He will figure it out," Jones added. "That's the key thing here. He has no superior in working on it, studying it, taking it to the practice field, repetition. He's as good or better than anybody I've ever seen and so he will mentally and physically rep this through."

Mike McCarthy Has Prescott's Back

When asked about Prescott's health, HC Mike McCarthy was quick to shut down any narratives and confirm that Dak hasn't suffered any setbacks:

"He's a little sore. He took a few hits in the game, but yeah, he's healthy," McCarthy told the Cowboys' website.

Moreover, McCarthy had Prescott's back and claimed that, even though the offense can still improve, he's not going through a slump:

"It's different in football. A lot of things go into it. I don't think Dak is in a slump," the coach added. "I think everything has not gone the way we would like to go are things we can improve on. That's the focus this week."

Dak Vows To Be Better

Dak doesn't seem to be too bothered about his recent performances, either.

He knows that the team is counting on him to limit mistakes and vowed to make better decisions and take better care of the football:

"Some of the things are just simple decision-making by me," Prescott said, as quoted by Fan Nation. "And I'll clean those up."

"It was a struggle on offense," Prescott added. "But it's better in a winning effort."

At the end of the day, all that matters is winning football games and the Cowboys have been pretty good at that throughout the whole season. Hopefully, Prescott will figure things out before they go home empty-handed again.

Melissa Gorga weighed in on the behavior of her Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip cast mate, Ramona Singer, during an interview last moth.

As the debut season of the Real Housewives spinoff was released on Peacock, NBCUniversal's steaming service, the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member admitted that when it comes to the wild antics of her New York City counterpart, she can't really excuse the way she behaved -- or the way she treated their co-stars.

"There's no excuses," Gorga told Page Six on November 19.

Hit It Off With Kenya Moore

"Ramona lives in Ramona's world," Gorga continued.

During the first season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, viewers watched as Singer stripped down and marked her territory, so to speak, in an effort to get the best room at the ladies' Turks and Caicos vacation rental before wetting her pants and screaming explicit insults at The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore.

Although Gorga admitted that she can't defend Singer's antics, she said that Moore "made sense with whatever she argued about" and named the RHOA cast member as her "turn-up buddy."

Friendship With Ramona Singer

While Gorga often sided with Moore in her feud with Singer, she said that when it comes to the Real Housewives of New York City cast member, she doesn't dislike her. In fact, she has found her endearing and been able to maintain a friendship with her, despite how she treated Moore on the show.

"I hold Ramona close to my heart. I appreciate her. I know that she can say things sometimes that piss people off and get people upset. But I always try to explain where she's coming from," Gorga said.

'Soft Spot' For Ramona Singer

"I have a soft spot for her most of the time. I know that she twists her words and she can say things sometimes that she really doesn't mean. I think she has trust in me that I'm reasonable and I'm not going to just tear her down. I'm going to let her explain why she said something," Gorga continued.

Also during production on Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, Gorga said she enjoyed getting to know Singer's Real Housewives of New York City cast mate, Luann de Lesseps.

"I've had a couple business lunches with her and [she was] very kind but a little stuffy," she said. "And she wasn't [stuffy] at all!"

Gorga added that she was pleasantly surprised by de Lesseps.

"She doesn't even drink and she was a party girl. She lets her hair down. She goes with the flow," Gorga shared. "She always has her [vape] in her mouth. She's fun! She's fun, so she surprised me."

Chicago Man Beaten To Death While Hanging Christmas Lights

A man identified as as 49-year-old Jose Tellez was beaten to death on Saturday evening while hanging Christmas lights outside his home in Gage Park, Chicago.

Two unidentified men approached Tellez around 6:30 p.m. that day and beat him viciously, according to police.

A neighbor heard Tellez's young daughter scream and rushed across the street to help. But by then it was too late: Tellez was lying on the grass and bleeding from his head.

Beaten To Death

The neighbor who rushed to help Tellez and his daughter told The Chicago Sun-Times that she heard the child scream, "My dad, my dad, he's hurt!"

"I told her to get a blanket to put on his head. There was a lot of blood," the neighbor said, adding that she did what she could to help the unfortunate man and keep his daughter calm.

Tellez was breathing when he was put in an ambulance, but he wasn't moving. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, and later pronounced dead.

The neighbor who tried to help Tellez and his daughter said she was "traumatized" by the event -- others in the community feel the same.

Silverio Nodal, who lives down the street, told the outlet he knew Tellez for around 10 years and described him as a "family man, a hard-working guy" who did landscaping work and loved gardening.

"He came here to provide the best for his family, you know as all of us do, the American dream. But this is not the American dream," Nodal said.

Community Shocked

Nodal said that Tellez's murder was a "big shock for all of us" in the community.

"It's a shame. This is supposed to be the best season, the Christmas season. It's a family thing. These things shouldn't be happening," he stated.

Nodal added that everyone on the block is now working together to coordinate a contact list so that any suspicious activity in the neighborhood can be reported.

"Something must be done, should be done. It's not only the police work. We as individuals, what can we do for our neighbors, what are we contributing?" he concluded.

Jose Tellez

Tellez's niece Daisy Castro has started a fundraiser on GoFundMe to help pay for funeral expenses.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the campaign has raised over $40,000.

"On the night of December 11, 2021, our beloved family member Jose Eleazar Téllez, was attacked and brutally beaten while putting up Christmas lights outside his home," the page says.

"He was a loving husband, father, brother and son. He leaves behind a wife and three children. At this time we kindly ask for prayers and if you are able to, any donation is greatly appreciated," it continues.

Sixers Rumors: Pelicans 'Discussed' Trading Multiple Draft Assets For Ben Simmons, Ingram 'Not Involved'

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons is currently one of the hottest commodities on the trade market. Though he's not playing in the 2021-22 NBA season due to mental issues, the former No. 1 pick continues to receive strong interest from aspiring contenders that are in dire need of additional star power and rebuilding teams that want to speed up their timeline.

So far, Shams Charania of The Athletic revealed that at least seven NBA teams have expressed interest in acquiring Simmons from the Sixers. These include the New Orleans Pelicans.

Pelicans Engage In Trade Talks With Sixers

In a recent podcast, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype and Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report talked about several interesting topics, including the rumors linking Simmons to the Pelicans. According to Scotto, the Pelicans and the Sixers have engaged in a trade discussion that would send Simmons to New Orleans in exchange for multiple future draft assets.

"I heard the Pelicans discussed trading future first-round picks and pick swaps with the 76ers for Ben Simmons, league sources told HoopsHype," Scotto said. "Brandon Ingram was not involved in the talks, I'm told, at least as of now. With Zion Williamson's latest injury setback, it's unclear how that could move the needle for the Pelicans in their efforts to land Simmons."

Pelicans Eyeing To Form 'Big Three'

With the non-inclusion of Brandon Ingram in their trade discussion, it's crystal clear what the Pelicans are trying to accomplish. By sacrificing multiple future draft assets, the Pelicans must be eyeing to form a "Big Three" of Simmons, Ingram, and Zion Williamson in New Orleans. With all of those young stars needing the ball in their hands to maximize their effectiveness, their on-court fit would be tricky.

However, if they could work things out on the floor and find the perfect chemistry, the Pelicans would undoubtedly become unstoppable on both ends of the floor.

Ben Simmons' On-Court Impact On Pelicans

Simmons would be an intriguing acquisition for the Pelicans, especially now that Williamson is yet to return from an injury. Pairing him with Ingram would give the Pelicans the much-needed boost in their offensive and defensive efficiencies that currently rank 26th and 28th, respectively, in the 2021-22 NBA season, per ESPN. In Simmons, the Pelicans would be getting a very reliable scoring option, a great rebounder and on-court facilitator, and an elite defender.

Last season, Simmons averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 1.6 steals while shooting 55.7 percent from the field, per ESPN.

Why Ben Simmons-To-Pelicans Trade Is Less Likely To Happen

A trade package that includes multiple future draft assets is undeniably a great initial offer for the Pelicans, but they may need to make more sacrifice to convince the Sixers to engage in a blockbuster deal. Since the 2021 NBA offseason, Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey has been telling everyone in the league that they would only trade Simmons for another All-Star caliber player who would complement Joel Embiid on the court.

If the Pelicans badly want to acquire Simmons, they might have to give up Ingram or Williamson.

Charges Against Ethan Crumbley Complicate Case Against His Parents

Fifteen-year-old Ethan Crumbley opened fire inside Michigan's Oxford High School on November 30, killing four of his fellow students.

Hit with with 24 charges -- including murder, terrorism, assault and weapons possession -- Ethan will be tried as an adult. His parents, James and Jennifer Crumbley, are both facing four counts of involuntary manslaughter.

Ethan being charged as an adult suggests he acted under his own autonomy, but does this also undermine the case against his parents?

Here's what one renowned legal expert has to say.

Charging Ethan As Adult

Eve Primus, a professor of criminal law at the University of Michigan's Law School and a former public defender, told Newsweek that Ethan's parents could benefit from him being charged as an adult.

"Ethan Crumbley, if he's a child who's under their control, it's less likely that he can independently break the chain from them to these deaths. But by charging him as an adult, the prosecutor is communicating their view, that he is an independent actor and has the agency and decision-making capability that an adult would have," Primus explained.

Involuntary Manslaughter

When charging individuals with involuntary manslaughter, prosecutors need to prove gross negligence and causation, according to Primus.

To prove gross negligence on James and Jennifer's part, the prosecutors would have to demonstrate they did not try to avert the shooting, Primus said.

As for causation, according to Primus, the persecution has to prove James and Jennifer caused the deaths in the mass shooting. In other words, the prosecutors would have to prove Ethan used the gun his parents purchased, and demonstrate the parents were liable.

Burden Of Proof

Primus stressed that the prosecutors must demonstrate whether the shooting was something James and Jennifer could "reasonably foresee having happened, given their negligent actions."

But if Ethan is indeed an adult who acted under his own autonomy, how can his parents be to blame for what happened?
