Wells Adams: Chris Harrison Has 'Something Up His Sleeve' After 'Bachelor' Exit Posted: 07 Dec 2021 11:17 AM PST Making a comeback! Following Chris Harrison‘s departure from the Bachelor franchise, Wells Adams reveals that he wouldn’t be shocked to see his friend branching out with a new project soon. “I’m not him. I can’t speak for him. But I got a feeling that he’s got something up his sleeve,” Adams, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly on Monday, November 6, while promoting his participation with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. “That’s my feeling. That something has been cooking with the old Harrison. I’m excited to see what he does.” The former Bachelorette contestant noted that he has stayed in touch with Harrison, 50, and even received support amid his own hosting endeavors. “He’s doing really well. He actually was the first person to congratulate me after I announced that I’m hosting this new show on Hulu called Best In Dough,” Adams noted to Us. “[That] is a testament to his character that he was the first person to be like, ‘Hey man, I’m really proud of you. Good job. You deserve this.'” The longtime Bachelor host temporarily stepped down from the franchise in February after he supported contestant Rachael Kirkconnell‘s history of racially insensitive social media posts. He confirmed four months later that he would be departing the Bachelor franchise permanently. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams took over for Harrison as cohosts on The Bachelorette host for season 17 and season 18. In September, ABC announced that Jesse Palmer scored the hosting job on The Bachelor after originally appearing on the fifth season. “For more than 20 years, The Bachelor has brought the world dozens of unforgettable love stories, including at one time, my own,” the sports commentator, 43, shared in a statement to Us following the news. “Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.” Adams, for his part, shared that it “makes sense” that Palmer was offered the role due to his past experience. “I’m happy for him,” the California native said to Us. “We’ll see how he does. The Truth of the matter is that [these are] tough shoes to fill. Everyone was very accustomed to Chris doing that job. Also, like, change is hard for the audience. They understand that it’s going to be probably a weird thing for people to see. But I’ve met Jesse and I know him. He’s a wonderful dude, so I’m happy.” Adams, who was promoted to "master of ceremonies” during season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise following his tenure as the show's official bartender, also admitted that he wanted the Bachelor hosting job as well. “Did I want to have the best job in the world? Yes. I wanted that job. Of course, I did. I told people, I told the heads of everything that I wanted that job,” the radio DJ added, noting that he wouldn’t mind taking over as host on BiP instead. “I don’t know what the thought is on that. I think I should be. But I also still want to be the bartender because I think that job is more important than the host,” he explained. “I truly am embedded with them. So, we’ll see. I think it makes the most sense.” For now, Adams is focused on the upcoming Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions that is set to run from Thursday, January 20 until Sunday, January 23 in Orlando, Florida. “It’s really the best of the best [that will be playing] because you have to have won a tournament to get into this one. These women are going to be playing for a little bragging rights and a whole lot of money. Then there are a bunch of celebrity [players]. Well, I’m putting myself in air quotes because I’m not a celebrity, but they’ve allowed me to be playing with them amongst some real celebrities,” Adams joked. “So, it’s going to be a beautiful four days of women showcasing how great they are at golf and then a bunch of us showcasing how bad [we are].” The experience will be a first for Adams, who considers himself a “pretty good golfer,” noting, “I grew up playing golf, but it is a big difference between going out and playing with your buddies and going out with a bunch of gallery people and cameras.” With reporting by Christina Garibaldi |
Halle Berry Hopes BF Van Hunt Has Written a Song for Her Posted: 07 Dec 2021 10:34 AM PST Finding The One! Halle Berry found something special with Van Hunt and has enjoyed showing off her relationship to her fans. Berry was previously married three times: to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, to Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005 and to Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016. She shares son Maceo (born in 2013) with Martinez and daughter Nahla (born in 2008) with ex Gabriel Aubry. In August 2020, Hunt posted a cute photo of the couple for the very first time with the caption, “kisses land softly.” The following month, Berry confirmed that she was dating Hunt on Instagram after previously teasing that she had a new man in her life. Two months later, a source told Us Weekly that the pair were getting serious and that Hunt was “a wonderful, caring man” to the actress. The insider also explained that although “they’ve only been dating a few months,” the Kingsman: The Golden Circle alum already considered the singer The One. Berry wasn’t afraid to defend her relationship and her dating life when a social media user said she "can't keep a man” in response to a new photo of the duo. She responded via Instagram in February writing, "Who said I wanted to keep them? I'm all about living your best life, if you make a wrong move, course correct and re-spin and start again!" Berry and Hunt showed off their love when they made their red carpet debut at the 2021 Academy Awards. Following their public outing, another source detailed how the "Dust" singer "really brings out the fun side of Halle.” "Van is head over heels for Halle," the insider said in April 2021. "It's adorable to see how much his is infatuated with her." That same month, the Call star posted a photo of her and her man cuddling on the beach. “The moments that matter most…” Berry captioned the sweet post via Instagram at the time. Four months later, the Ohio native gushed about the performer during a social media post highlighting her birthday. “After the year we’ve all had, my heart is full as I’m grateful to see this August 14th,” she captioned the post via Instagram. “In the midst of the storm, I’ve managed to create happiness, find more peace, and feel more free than ever! Finally, I’m exhaling!” The post included a clip of Berry putting her head out the car window while the wind hit her face. She also teased that her boyfriend celebrated her on her special day with a unique surprise. “Thank you vanO for my b-day serenade Scroll down to relive Berry and Hunt’s romance: ![]() Berry initially teased her new relationship during her birthday celebration when she posted a photo of her feet intertwined with someone else's in bed. Selena Gomez Shares 'Hilarious' Holiday Tradition She Can't Wait For Posted: 07 Dec 2021 10:30 AM PST Christmas pajamas, baking sweet treats and decorating trees with family … oh my! There is no right — or wrong — way to get into the holiday spirit, and many celebrities have shared their favorite traditions during the special season. Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland spent their first Christmas together as an engaged couple in 2019. Just one year before, the Bachelor in Paradise bartender told Us Weekly exclusively what Christmas tradition they were starting together. "Our only tradition — because we're so new, like we've just finished a year dating — for Christmas we wear onesies, which is what everyone does," the former Bachelorette contestant told Us in November 2018. "It's fun because you're hungover on Christmas Day and it's comfy." Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos get to spend Christmas together alongside their three children: Michael, Lola and Joaquin. Every year, the All My Children alums have their kids pose for a Christmas card. The bunch also traditionally attend mass on Christmas Eve. For the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost revealed how her family has adjusted their celebrations by attending mass via Zoom and making dinner at home. "I will make the feast of the singular fish — the feast of the mollusk. I'm not a chef, but I can make a delicious linguine and clam," she told SheKnows for its December 2020 digital issue. Ripa will additionally bake her grandmother's Spritz cookies during the holiday season. "I used to labor under this belief that my children would join me and this would be such a family event and everybody would love doing it … and I think the kids maybe twice made cookies with me and the rest of the time they could not be bothered," she explained to the publication. "So it's really just something I do." Kate Hudson, meanwhile, shared what she enjoys most about cherishing the extra time she gets with loved ones. "I love a party and I love the tradition of Christmas, and I'm Jewish, so I don't know how that worked out," she said in a 2016 blog post for her Fabletics brand. "I think I just love gathering people together and seeing people happy. It's the time where everybody needs to gather, do a big group hug and enjoy the festivities. We're really celebrating life in those moments." The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress continued, "I look forward to the holiday season because it's a time that I get to spend with my family that's uninterrupted. And it's filled with traditions that make me feel comfortable and cozy. It's just this beautiful, special time of year. The older you get, the more you realize that you want to prolong those moments for as long as you can, probably because I love my family so much, so I just want to, like, soak it all up." Whether it's jet-setting to a tropical island or staying home, scroll down to see what makes your favorite star the merriest during the best time of the year. ![]() The “Midnight Sky” singer revealed the one tradition she shares with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, each year. “My favorite thing to do when I go home is we go and we throw the ball around outside on my dad’s farm,” she said on Good Morning Football in December 2020. “Some of my greatest memories are playing football with my dad.” Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() The Little Fires Everywhere alum revealed she loves making gingerbread houses. “One of my favorite things about this time of year is decorating gingerbread houses with my kids,” she wrote via Instagram in December 2020. “Well... ok... we mostly just eat the candy. 🍬 🤪 .” Courtesy Reese Witherspoon/Instagram ![]() “I enjoy decorating with my oldest son, Isaiah. He loves helping and he loves doing the tree,” she told Parade in December 2020. “I put out some things while he was away at school and he came home and he was like, ‘You decorated without me,’ and I was like, ‘I just got the stuff that was, like, bigger and you wouldn’t have any fun doing this anyway because I wasn’t decorating a tree.’ But we enjoy doing that.” The “Cry Pretty” singer continued, “He loves helping me in the kitchen and making cookies. His great-grandmother passed away not too, too long ago and we have her ginger cookies that she would always make. We have that recipe and we do that and talk about her, and just things like that are really, really sweet.” Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() “My mom was big into ceramics when I was growing up. She made this beautiful Christmas ceramic tree, and on each point is a candle. … We would light a candle and say what we were most thankful for,” the Holidate actress told Us in November 2020. “That tradition kind of got a little lost as I became an adult and began to work all the time. Though I don’t have a ceramic Christmas tree — it’s probably in my parents’ attic — because we know I’m on the go, they come to me a lot. When I’m done working this year, I will get to come home to Oklahoma and be with them for the first time in a long time.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() The Big Little Lies alum and former Friends star celebrate the holidays together. They commemorated their 14th Christmas Eve with one another in 2019. “I love this family and our Christmas Eve tradition. Some things never change...much. 🎄♥️🎄 #family,” Cox captioned a pic of the A-listers with their children. Courtesy Courteney Cox/Instagram ![]() The Clueless actress likes to stay connected to her Jewish upbringing and celebrates Hanukkah alongside her son, Bear. “Hanukkah usually entails making latkes together, playing dreidel, celebrating with loved ones, lighting the menorah, and giving some treats/gifts,” she told VegNews in December 2019. “Vegan gelt, rescued farm animal sponsorship, and an admit-one ticket to Crossroads Kitchen were Hanukkah gifts given to Bear last year.” Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() The dancer and YouTuber star, who is Ariana Grande’s brother, revealed his family’s favorite Christmas tradition involves presents. “Opening presents at midnight on Christmas Eve — midnight! As soon as it turns to Christmas Day, we’re opening those gifts,” he told Seventeen in 2018. “We sleep until like 5 p.m. We’re up until like four or five am, though.” Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock ![]() “Every year, Santa comes and leaves presents for the kids out in the open. Sometimes Santa likes to wrap a couple of them but usually, he leaves them open so the kids can see what they are,” she said in a blog post for her Fabletics website in 2016. “The first thing we all do is look in our stockings and look at what Santa’s been noticing about our year. Santa is very clever, he’s very funny so he likes to give the adults very funny presents! And we usually leave Santa something every year.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() “I do a lot of the cooking before Christmas but then I usually spend a lot of Christmas cooking too,” she told the Daily Mail’s Femail vertical in 2013. “All the smells, all of the mulled wine, all of the trimmings for the turkey. We like to have all the family around. A very traditional Christmas.” The Goop founder continued, “My kids are very involved in the kitchen with me, especially my son [Moses]. He loves to cook and he’s very engaged when we do it — he has a lot of patience for it, it’s very cute. He helps me measure and he cracks eggs perfectly, he’s very good.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() “My family has always done a secret Santa with all of the grandkids. There are 10 of us so it’s always fun getting to see which one of your cousins you’re gonna get. Also it helps not having to get gifts for nine other people,” the Stranger Things actor told Us. Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() “We always decorated when we were kids, but we never had nice decorations. We didn’t have the matching lights,” the singer told Us. “I wanted to take that tradition and as I got older decorate my own home and my home is the place we all come together. I have the nice tree and the ornaments that match and the lights and stuff now. I just love the holidays, which is the best.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock ![]() “When we have functions, or the holidays come around everyone comes to my house. I will have between 30 and 40 family members for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s me and my cousin. My cousin is a professional chef. He went to culinary school. I didn’t. So he comes by and he’s my sous-chef, his name is Christopher,” the Black-ish star explained to Us. “And he’ll make the sauces because that’s something that I have yet to perfect. He’ll make the sauces and I’ll do all of the other things and he’ll help me along the way.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock ![]() “One of our favorite family traditions is the day after Thanksgiving, every year, we decorate for Christmas since Nick and I started dating 12 years ago,” Vanessa dished on their long-standing tradition. “It was just me and him putting up the tree and drinking white Russians.” The Top Chef Jr. cohost went on to note that the now family of five’s new favorite thing to do at Christmas time “might be Christmas Eve brunch because it's [our youngest son] Phoenix's birthday.” That night, the couple bond while they wrap Christmas presents every year. “Christmas Eve it's just me and Nick assembling all the last-minute things. We can’t assemble a lot and leave it in the house because our kids will find it. So we stuff boxes everywhere and we hide them and then Christmas Eve it’s an all-nighter. We’re usually up really late but we have a glass of wine and we have Christmas carols on while assembling things so it’s a great time for us to bond,” she told Us. Jason Merritt/Getty Images ![]() “What I like to do is decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. And my husband [Greg Covey] knows this so he doesn’t even have to be asked. He just goes to the storage space and gets out all the decorations. And last year — because he is such a prince — he hung the lights without me even being there. Now that is love,” the Goldbergs actress told Us. “He knows he’s going to have to do it sooner or later so he might as well do it. So we do that. And while I decorate the tree I watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock ![]() “My tradition that I have is my brother, Reed, usually cooks. He thinks he’s a professional chef, which he definitely is not. But we like to let him believe that! And we always have so much fun in the kitchen,” the Olympic gold medalist told Us. Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() The Fuller House star told Us, “Christmas morning when my kids were little, it was the same way my parents did for us, where it was, like, if you wake up before us, you can't come out to the living room. You have to wait until I turn the Christmas music on and you smell the coffee.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock ![]() “I invite all the exes and the wives and the ex-wives and the children for Thanksgiving. I’m calling it ‘Family-giving.’ It’s also close friends with their families, who we consider family. It will be wonderful. It will be a huge feast with at least 40 people!” the actress told Us. Joel Ryan/Invision/AP/Shutterstock ![]() The former boy bander loves to watch holiday films with his kids on Christmas, and even told Us his favorites. “Oh, the staple, 100 percent across the board is Elf. You've got to watch Elf. But The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, obviously the Jim Carrey one, that's another staple.” Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() When it comes to Christmas in the Very Cavallari star’s household, it’s all about keeping tradition alive. “My dad always made homemade meatballs and sauce on Christmas Eve, so I've kept that up with our family,” the E! personality told Us. Her and husband Jay Cutler have also continued to keep their three kids on their toes, just like Cavallari’s parents did when she was growing up. “When I was little, my parents had the elves come a week before Christmas and if we were good, we got a little something in our stocking. If we were bad, we got coal,” The Hills alum shared. WWD/Shutterstock ![]() The man formerly known as Ted Mosby likes to spend New Year’s Eve quietly meditating, he told Us. “I’ve been having very low key New Year’s for the last couple of years. I haven’t been to big parties and stuff,” the Liberal Arts actor said. “But I’ve gotten together with some friends, and for the last couple of years, I’ve meditated from 11:45 to 12:15.” Radnor added that it’s fun to close out one year and enter another in a meditative state. Omar Vega/JanuaryImages/Shutterstock ![]() The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is all about the photo op on Christmas. “Our biggest holiday tradition is I get my whole extended family, we do Christmas PJs. And then I make everybody take photos,” the mom of two told Us. “They’re like, ‘No!’ I make my dad, my sister and my brothers who are like 6 feet-3 inches tall [do it]. I’m like, ‘Yep! Everybody is going to be Snoopy this year!’” Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() The TV couple has welcomed a new tradition into their home recently, courtesy of Ripa’s Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost. “Ryan Seacrest's mom, Connie, makes these sausage balls Christmas morning,” the Hope & Faith alum told Us. “It's Bisquick and sausage and cheddar cheese and you bake it in the oven. And now it is the No. 1 most requested thing in our house. It surpassed the cookies. It surpassed everything else.” Etienne Laurent/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() “We always read The Night Before Christmas. Last year my daughter was too little and didn't care,” the Late Night star told Us. “But this year I think she'll be able to get it more. And I've been talking it up a little bit. So we'll probably do that. And I always watch You've Got Mail on Christmas because it's one of my favorite movies. She's a little too little to enjoy that. But I would like, when she gets older, to make her watch that with me.” Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock ![]() “We always host Christmas Eve parties. We have family over, we have dinner, and then Christmas morning the grandparents come over and watch the kids open presents,” the Flip or Flop star told Us. “We have coffee and make pancakes. We keep it pretty simple for Christmas.” Stewart Cook/Shutterstock ![]() The Wheel of Fortune hostess revealed what’s most important to her during the holiday season. “It's family time for me. I always have my family with me and we just have wonderful moments together,” she told Us. “Santa still comes to my children and their adult kids. They're adults now, so we still have a good time.” Jim Smeal/Shutterstock ![]() Speaking to Us of her holiday traditions with ex-husband Armie Hammer, the actress said, “We always cut down a Christmas tree in Colorado at the forest outside of my parents' house in Denver. We always do that every year after Thanksgiving. It's good. They want us to do it. It’s good for forestry. It's not like we’re going poaching Christmas trees. And then we always go to the bakeries right before the holidays because it's the busiest time, obviously, Thanksgiving and Christmas. And then go to Denver where hopefully we'll have a white Christmas this year.” Chelsea Lauren/WWD/Shutterstock ![]() The Twilight actress says she and husband Paul Khoury don’t follow long-standing traditions, but instead are creating them actively. “So, Paul's parents, my husband’s parents, are going to come out and stay with us this Christmas. My parents are in Australia. They were like, ‘See you later.’ But we're kind of coming up with stuff. I want to do a baking contest at our house, like a cookie baking contest. So that's going to be one of the things we will do this year,” she told Us. Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() Uncle Jonathan reporting for duty! “My brother has two little girls that are 2 and 4, and so the new tradition is going over to my brother's house on Christmas morning and watching them open up gifts,” the Mindhunter star said. “And that’s, like, so much more fun than … As we got to be adults and we were exchanging gifts, it felt silly. And now that its about the two little girls, Christmas makes sense again.” Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock ![]() “Every year I have my sons come to the house, just like my father did when he was living with my brothers — we'd come over every Christmas morning,” the Family Feud host told Us. “We have fried oysters, we have [Sister] Schubert's rolls, and we have eggnog. That's it. My sons come over every Christmas morning and that happens. That doesn't seem like a great combination to a lot of people, but it is to me. I like oysters, I like [Sister] Schubert's rolls, and I like eggnog. Put them on the same plate, I'm happy.” Jim Smeal/Shutterstock ![]() “I spend every Christmas in New York, where I grew up, with my whole family,” the House of Cards alum told Us. “That is something that is important. Wherever we all are in the world, we all fly home. Even with a 6-month old baby, it is totally worth it. Our traditions are … we stay at home in our pajamas and watch a lot of movies. That has never really changed.” Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock ![]() The holidays are a big deal in the Mean Girls star’s family … but that doesn’t mean every tradition is followed. “The traditions in my family were a little too crazy because my family was a little too crazy — and that's why I love being in Hallmark movies,” Bennett told Us, referring to his film Christmas Made to Order. “It gives you this fantasy of what a perfect family is and you get to escape into that.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock ![]() “My favorite one — which my parents did when we were kids that we now do with our children — which is the morning of Christmas, sitting at the top of the stairs, waiting for mom and dad to go downstairs and check to make sure Santa came and he left,” the Sabrina the Teenage Witch alum told Us. “It goes back to, I think, when my mom fell asleep too early and Santa hadn't come, we had to go back to bed! It's the best thing ever. Sitting on top of the stairs, the anticipation, the gathering, that 30 second to a minute is the best anticipation of your entire life. You'll never get that back. It's the highlight. They have to wait until mom and dad check. That gives me time to set up the camera, turn on the lights, light the fire.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock ![]() The Part of Five alum loves a classic and cozy holiday. “Every Christmas Eve we all get together at my parents' house for a White Elephant-style party,” she told Us. “You have to wear your pajamas and we exchange these silly gifts and it ends up being this fun fight over the best one.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock ![]() The former World of Dance host might not have traditions at the moment, but she has plenty she’d like to establish for her and ex Channing Tatum’s daughter, Everly. “I’ve had a dream since I was a kid of a ton of kids running around, and fun, and family around a Christmas tree, and lots of music and joy and food … and I try to emulate that every year. I’d love [Everly] to emulate the importance of family around the holidays,” she told Us. Nina Prommer/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() “We all come together on Christmas Eve and we do extended family and our family of friends all come over and we cook like crazy for days and days and days,” the former Punky Brewster star told Us. “Then Christmas Eve, we do our annual Christmas Eve gathering where everyone comes over and we sing ‘The 12 [Days] of Christmas’ and that’s such a blast. Everybody is singing, and then we do our Secret Santa exchange and it’s incredible, and we all are laughing like crazy and sometimes people are stealing gifts from each other and it’s wild. It’s crazy.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock ![]() The Victor/Victoria star has traditions that date back nearly three decades! “I have a tree that I call my nutcracker tree because it’s big and it’s filled with children’s toys and beautiful ornaments that I’ve collected for 30 years,” she told Us. Olivia Wilde Shows Support for Harry Styles With 'Pleasing' Top Posted: 07 Dec 2021 10:29 AM PST From coworkers to so much more! Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles took fans by surprise with their whirlwind romance, which began when they met on the set of Don't Worry Darling. The duo made headlines when they were photographed holding hands at Styles’ manager’s wedding in January 2021. A source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that the twosome sparked a connection when they started working together. “Harry and Olivia had chemistry almost instantaneously on set," the insider said. "It was only a matter of time before they got together.” Wilde’s romance with the British singer came two months after she split from fiancé Jason Sudeikis and three months after Styles joined her film. Sudeikis and the Booksmart director, who were together for over a decade, share two children: son Otis and daughter Daisy. When reports of the relationship first emerged, a source told Us that Styles was not the reason for the House alum's split from the Ted Lasso star. “Harry did not break up an engagement,” the source said. Although Styles didn’t come inbetween Wilde and Sudeikis, the new couple still tried to keep their relationship quiet on set in the beginning. “Olivia and Harry were able to keep their relationship under wraps for a bit before it became public knowledge,” an insider told Us in January 2021. “They were very careful about it and even sleuthy at times, although the small group of people who were on set with them every day eventually figured it out.” The psychological thriller, which revolves around a housewife in the 1950s, also stars Florence Pugh, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne and Nick Kroll. After filming wrapped in February 2021, Wilde joined Styles in London, where they enjoyed some time to themselves. “People tend to respect people’s privacy in London, so they probably feel comfortable walking around by themselves and don’t feel like they need a bodyguard,” an insider told Us in April 2021. The duo were “spotted at local pubs” during their London getaway. “They were walking close to each other and had their arms linked together,” added an insider, who bumped into the duo on one of their casual strolls. “They seemed very couply and cuddly with one another.” Scroll down to relive Styles and Wilde’s unexpected romance: ![]() Styles was cast in Don’t Worry Darling as Pugh’s husband. "Little known fact: most male actors don’t want to play supporting roles in female-led films," Wilde wrote via Instagram in February 2021. "The industry has raised them to believe it lessens their power (i.e financial value) to accept these roles, which is one of the reasons it's so hard to get financing for movies focusing on female stories. No joke, it is harrrrrd to find actors who recognize why it might be worth it to allow for a woman to hold the spotlight." She continued: "Enter: @harrystyles, our 'Jack.' Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold center stage as our 'Alice,' but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity. He didn't have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace, and blew us away every day with his talent, warmth, and ability to drive backwards. 👊 #dontworrydarling." "Both of them respect the other's work and never want to get in the way of each other," the source added. Brooke Shields Slams 'Practically Criminal' 1980s Barbara Walters Interview Posted: 07 Dec 2021 10:18 AM PST ![]() Looking at the past differently. While addressing the backlash that she received after appearing in a 1980s Calvin Klein jeans campaign, Brooke Shields revealed why her interview with Barbara Walters left a lasting impression. During an interview with Dax Shepard on his “Armchair Expert” podcast, Shields, 56, responded to his claim that the infamous interview was a “maddening” experience. “It’s practically criminal. It’s not journalism,” the New York native admitted on Monday, December 6, referring to the attention she received from the ad. "The [interviewers] never wanted my answer. They just wanted their point of view." Shields originally made headlines after she modeled in a pair of jeans when she was 15 years old with the tagline, “You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.” The Blue Lagoon star recalled feeling as if people were shaming her and sexualizing her at the same time, saying, “They were mad at themselves for not figuring it out and taking it out on me.” At the time, Brooke was joined by her mother, Teri Shields, during the interview with Walters, 92, where she was asked intense questions including, "What are your measurements? Do you have any secrets from your mother? Would you be a mother like your mother?” Looking back at it now, the model wasn’t sure why the broadcast journalist took that approach. “As a mom, was she taking the mom tactic? There’s jealousy and there’s anger. It’s such a difficult thing to really decipher,” Brooke admitted on Monday, adding that she still receives invasive questions about her past roles that she doesn’t know how to answer. “The worst part about it is that now there’s this, ‘So you’ve got two daughters. Now would you let them …’ And I’m just thinking that there’s no way to answer that question without it being a headline that they want,” the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alum shared. “Then you try to say that times are different. Do I want to see my 11-year-old nude [in] a movie? No. It’s a different child and I’m a different person.” Brooke, who shares daughters Rowan, 15, and Grier, 18, with husband Chris Henchy, explained that she wasn’t “traumatized” by her childhood career the way that others expecting her to be, saying, “The experience for me was not traumatic and the piece that people can’t seem to wrap their minds around is that I didn’t feel victimized.” The Golden Globe nominee previously opened up about how “ridiculous” she found the public backlash towards the Calvin Klein campaign. “I was away when they all came out, and then started hearing, ‘Oh, the commercials have been banned here, and Canada won’t play them,'” she said during a Vogue video interview in October. “It just struck me as so ridiculous, the whole thing.” She continued: “They take the one commercial, which is a rhetorical question. I was naive, I didn’t think anything of it. I didn’t think it had to do with underwear, I didn’t think it was sexual in nature. I would say it about my sister, ‘Nobody can come between me and my sister.'” For Brooke, the outcry over the modeling job made her feel like people thought she was “much more savvy than I ever really was.” |
James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss Had a 'Tumultuous Relationship' Before Split Posted: 07 Dec 2021 09:53 AM PST Better off apart? Vanderpump Rules stars James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss went through “some real struggles” before they split and ended their engagement. “It was a tumultuous relationship,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the DJ, 29, and the former pageant queen, 26. “[Raquel] still wants the best for him. They had a happy time together. … She’s also grown as well and this relationship outgrew her. She has grown into being a strong woman.” The breakup “was definitely a hard decision” for the pair, the insider adds, noting that “there was a little discourse after the engagement” that prompted their split. The British reality star celebrated two years of sobriety in July. During the season 9 premiere of Vanderpump Rules two months later, Leviss called her then-fiancé “California sober,” clarifying that he still smoked weed. Kennedy “grew up a lot” once he stopped drinking, the source says, noting that the musician “changed as a person” after giving up alcohol. Leviss “was there for a lot” of her ex’s ups and downs, but in the end, Kennedy and the Sonoma State University alum simply didn’t see eye to eye. “They both want different things,” the insider adds. “They don’t have love anymore in terms of a romantic relationship, but they still have love for each other as friends. … They’re really trying to figure out what their lives look like now that they’ve split. They have a lot of admiration and respect for each other.” The Bravo personalities made their romance Instagram official in February 2016, two months after meeting on New Year’s Eve. Kennedy popped the question earlier this year. “THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, said yes. At the time, Leviss shared the milestone in a post of her own, writing, “James proposed at the iconic Empire Polo Fields of ‘RACHELLA’ Friday night… and I said YES! I’m over the Coachella moon Seven months later, the duo announced that they chose to go their separate ways. “After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement,” Leviss wrote via Instagram on Sunday. “We love each other very much, but we aren’t in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.” Kennedy shared an identical statement on his own social media account. Two days prior, he and the California native filmed the season 9 reunion special of Vanderpump Rules. A source later confirmed that the split will be discussed in more detail during the episode. Shortly after the breakup made headlines, Leviss gave fans a glimpse of herself packing as she prepared to move out of the apartment she shared with Kennedy. “Raquel’s staying strong,” the first source tells Us. “She has been with friends while also working with James to figure out the best possible route [for moving forward]. They’re trying to be private through all of this.” With reporting by Diana Cooper |
90 Day Fiance's Tarik Hints at Hazel Split: She's Returning to Philippines Posted: 07 Dec 2021 09:44 AM PST ![]() The end? After sparking split speculation earlier this year, Tarik Myers seemed to confirm that his relationship with Hazel Cagalitan is officially over. “Hazel does not live with me anymore. She said she is [in] another state with people I don’t know. She is going back to the Philippines. I do know that bc she has no choice,” Tarik, 46, wrote via his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, December 7. “Please do not attack her or harass her like you’ve been doing for the last 3 years.” Tarik originally met Hazel, 28, during season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2018 when left his Virginia Beach home to visit her in the Philippines. Viewers later watched the duo tie the knot during season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé in March. Ahead of their nuptials, the twosome were candid about the ups and downs that came with their relationship on the TLC series. During a December 2020 episode, Tarik confided in his friend Kia about how he developed a relationship with a woman named Minty following a pregnancy scare with Hazel. ![]() "I said, 'Look, I'm gonna be straight-up honest with you. I started talking online, you know, to this girl,'" he recalled telling Hazel. "She was like, 'I wanna see all the pictures, I wanna see all the text messages.' I was like, 'OK, I ain't got nothing to hide.' And then, she was like, 'She's beautiful, and I might wanna talk to her.' … Like, holler at her." Tarik confirmed that Hazel identifies as bisexual and that “having a girlfriend is gonna be a part of our married life." After the reality star couple made the trip to meet Minty in the Philippines, things took a turn three days later when Hazel “just put an end to it." "Hazel felt like Minty was more into me than she was into Hazel, and Hazel could see I was just fascinated by Minty,” Tarik noted, admitting that he had been in contact with Minty even though Hazel told him to cut off all communication. Four months later, Tarik addressed the unconventional aspect of his marriage during the 90 Day Fiancé tell-all special, saying, “There are hundreds of thousands — if not millions — of married couples who do exactly what we’re doing. The term is polyamory, and it is absolutely possible that two married people can have a boyfriend or girlfriend of their choosing and still absolutely have a loving, moral, upstanding marriage like everyone else.” |
Why Rebel Wilson’s Team Didn’t Want Her to Lose Weight Posted: 07 Dec 2021 09:10 AM PST Not everyone was initially in support of Rebel Wilson's weight-loss journey — and the reason might surprise fans. The Pitch Perfect star, 41, revealed during an interview on the BBC Breakfast morning show on Tuesday, December 7, that her decision to focus on her health in 2020 led to some uncomfortable conversations with those closest to her. "I got a lot of pushback from my own team, actually, here in Hollywood, when I said, 'OK, I'm going to do this ‘Year of Health.’ I feel like I'm really going to physically transform and change my life,’" Wilson claimed. "And they were like, 'Why? Why would you want to do that?' Because I was earning millions of dollars being the funny fat girl and being that person." The Bridesmaids actress set out to transform herself last year after a visit to her doctor. However, her “Year of Health” wasn’t just about slimming down. "It first started when I was looking into fertility stuff and the doctor was like, 'Well, you'd have a much better chance if you were healthier,’" she revealed in a July Instagram Live video. "That's kind of what started it, that if I lost some excess weight that it would give me a better chance for freezing eggs and having the eggs be a better quality. … It wasn't even really myself, it was more thinking of a future mini-me, really." By the end of 2020, the Australian comedian had lost 70 pounds. Last month, she exclusively told Us Weekly about some of the "weird things" that happened to her body as a result. "My feet have shrunk," she told Us in November. "It is the weirdest thing because every time I put on high heels, they are always too big and I look like an idiot … It's the most annoying thing ever because who would have thought that your feet would lose weight?" While Wilson’s transformation drew plenty of attention, her goal was never to be thinner. The Super Fun Night alum told BBC Breakfast on Tuesday that she was "very confident being bigger" and could always "rock a red carpet" despite being "double the size or sometimes triple the weight of other actresses," but there were some aspects of her lifestyle that she wanted to change. "I knew deep down inside that some of the emotional eating behaviors I was doing was not healthy. I did not need a tub of ice cream every night," she said. "That was me numbing emotions using food, which wasn't the healthiest thing." The Pooch Perfect host realized that the pressure of "not being a natural performer and having to perform almost every day" led to her stress, which she often dealt with through emotional eating. ![]() While Wilson is proud of herself for choosing to do what she believed was best for her — instead of following other people’s advice — the Isn't It Romantic actress does find the heightened focus on her body very strange. "I know what it's like to be a woman who was essentially invisible to most people because of not being seen as traditionally, like, beautiful or whatever," she told BBC Breakfast. "It's crazy to try and fit that. [It's] better to be the healthiest version [of yourself]." In October, the How To Be Single actress told Stellar, a magazine from Australia's Daily Telegraph, that she was had found the psychological root of her issues surrounding food. "I'm not totally cured. I don't think you can be," she said at the time. "But I've learn[ed] to manage it — and it's not by reaching for a bowl of ice cream." |
Every Family Member Who Attended Josh Duggar's Trial Posted: 07 Dec 2021 08:42 AM PST As Josh Duggar's ongoing child pornography trial began on Tuesday, November 30, he was joined by several familiar faces in the courtroom. On the first day, the 19 Kids and Counting alum, 33, and wife Anna Duggar entered the Fayetteville, Arkansas, federal courthouse, side by side and holding hands. The next day, Anna, also 33, sat beside Derick Dillard. The 32-year-old Counting On alum, who married Josh's sister Jill Duggar in 2014, attended the proceedings one day after his wife's name was listed as a "confirmed or potential" witness alongside brother Jed Duggar. Days earlier, patriarch Jim Bob Duggar testified during a Monday, November 29, evidentiary hearing where he confirmed that his eldest son admitted to inappropriately touching four minor girls — several of whom were previously confirmed to be his sisters — in the early 2000s. During his testimony, Jim Bob, 56, revealed he could not recall the specific details of their conversation. “We were shocked this had happened but we were thankful he came on his own and told us,” Jim Bob told the prosecutors. “He had told me that he had touched some of the girls when they were sleeping on their breasts … they didn’t wake up." While many of Josh's family members have remained mum amid his legal proceeding since the court case began, cousin Amy King (née Duggar) has been more outspoken. "Today is a heavy day," Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's niece, 35, wrote via Instagram Story on Tuesday, after it was announced that a jury had been selected. "This whole week will be. Next week will be too. Until justice is served." In a second Story post, she wrote: "Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord, I will repay thee. Please pray for the victims and for the truth to be revealed. Pray that the judge will give the ultimate sentence." Josh was previously arrested in April for allegedly “receiving and possessing material depicting the sexual abuse of children," shortly after Anna announced the pair were expecting their seventh child. (Their daughter Madyson was born on October 23.) Josh — who also shares Mackynzie, 12, Michael, 10, Marcus, 8, Meredith, 6, Mason, 4, and Maryella, 2, with Anna — entered a not guilty plea amid his arrest before being released on bond several days later. Amid Josh's scandal, TLC canceled his siblings' Counting On reality TV series, which chronicled their daily family lives. Counting On premiered in December 2015 after 19 Kids and Counting stopped production amid his 2015 molestation scandal. "TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On," the network said in a statement to Us Weekly in June. "TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately." Jill and her husband, who previously exited the show in 2017, opened up about the cancellation via a blog post earlier this year. "We first heard of the cancellation when both a friend & a cousin each texted us after seeing TLC's statement online. We do not know how long the cancellation had been planned," the couple, who share sons Israel, 6, and Samuel, 4, wrote via their blog at the time. "It's been over 4 years now since we chose to step away from the show, and, although we were initially barred from sharing our decision to leave the show, we have opened up a little more recently on our social media. During our years on the show, we had many great experiences with the network, and several of the crew members have even become like family to us! However, we also faced many pressures and some unexpected challenges which forced us to step away from the show in an effort to gain more control over our own lives and to do what was best for our family." Aaron Carter and Melanie Martin’s Ups and Downs: A Timeline Posted: 07 Dec 2021 08:30 AM PST A rocky road. Aaron Carter and Melanie Martin first confirmed their relationship in January 2020 at the height of the coronavirus pandemic — and it’s been messy ever since. The singer and the model had many ups and downs during their relationship, including a breakup, a reunion, a pregnancy loss and a rainbow baby. In September 2021, things appeared to be solid between them as a then-pregnant Martin gushed about Carter in a touching tribute via Instagram. "The couples that are meant to be, are the ones who go through everything that is meant to tear them apart and come out even stronger. Even through our darkest storms I know you're the one I want to spend the rest of my days with @aaroncarter. I'm so blessed and grateful for the life we have built,” she wrote. “I can't wait to welcome our son into this world in just a few short months. I love you with all my heart. I'm so excited for our little family and all of life's blessings coming our way. We all have ups and downs but I intend to keep my private life behind doors. You live and you learn. Xx.” Two months later, the duo welcomed their first child together, a son named Prince. The House of Carters alum shared the happy news on his Instagram on November 22, revealing that Martin underwent an emergency C-Section after 13 hours of labor. “Emergency C Section after 13 hours of labor but my fiancé is in great health thank you lord and the incredibly sweet loving staff here. Prince is precious I love you son. Your mommy loves you as I drop tears on the phone,” the “I Want Candy” singer captioned via Instagram in November 2021, showing a photo of him at the hospital cutting the umbilical cord. “@missmelaniemartin I'm so proud of you hunny you did it I Love you with all my heart my beautiful blessings from god.” The new parents cozied up together for an Instagram video days later, with Carter captioning the 10-minute clip, “I love you so much our beautiful son. @missmelaniemartin. Family. Growth. Persevere.” Unfortunately, things took a turn. Seven days after welcoming the little one, the duo split. The musician announced the news via Twitter, calling out his twin sister, Angel Carter, and brother Nick Carter in the process. "I have the most conniving deceiving family and Melanie has been lying to me the whole time communicating with my twin sister and the family members who tried to put me in prison and who tried to get a conservatorship on me in court," he wrote at the time, claiming his ex-fiancée is taking their son to Las Vegas. "I'm in shocked this is horrible." He added, “Don't worry you trolls won you ruined my life alongside w Angel my twin Lauren Kitt and nick god bless. I'm a good man. I'm sleeping in my car ok.. and he is in the house. How utterly rude of you. Please respect my privacy thinking you know what's best for MY SON!!! Thanks. … Then tore time when she knew not to be speaking w a family member who tried to 5150 me and put me in jail and tried to entrap me. RHOBH's PK Kemsley Arrested for DUI After Home Invasion Posted: 07 Dec 2021 08:29 AM PST ![]() In hot water. Dorit Kemsley‘s husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, was arrested on suspicion of DUI last month, Us Weekly can confirm. The U.K. native, 54, was pulled over in Los Angeles on November 23. According to the arrest report, California Highway Patrol stopped him “for weaving on the westbound US-101.” After exiting the freeway, he “submitted to a chemical test.” The businessman’s blood alcohol content was .081, per a report from the Daily Mail. The legal limit in California is .08. After submitting to another test at the police department in Van Nuys, PK, who was alone in the car at the time, was cited and released. “Mr. Kemsley was cooperative throughout this incident,” the arrest report noted. The Kemsley family has had a rough couple of months. Dorit, 45, was robbed at gunpoint in her Encino, California, home on October 27. Two weeks after the incident, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recalled pleading for her children’s lives. The reality star shares son Jagger, 7, and daughter Phoenix, 5, with PK. “They were surprised to see me at home," the Beverly Beach designer told RHOBH costar Teddi Mellencamp during a November 9 interview with Extra. "They said, 'Who else is in the home?' There was someone else who said, 'Just kill her, just kill her already, just kill her,' and all I could think of [was], 'I have to save those babies.'” The Connecticut native said that her two children were asleep at the time, adding that she told the burglars to take whatever they wanted if they would spare her and her kids. "I begged them. I begged for my life, and begged for their [lives]," she recalled. "I said, 'I don't care about any of it, take it all. You can have it all. Please, I'm a mother of babies. Please, they need me. Please don't hurt me.'” PK, for his part, was away in the U.K. when the burglary occurred, but he returned right away when he heard the news. "I'm home and we are all together and will get through this," he wrote via Instagram two days after the robbery. "The babies are great they are the [sic] totally unaware and life is going to return to normal hopefully very quickly." The robbery occurred hours after part three of RHOBH reunion aired. During the episode, Dorit told host Andy Cohen that she pays for “every single piece” in her closet rather than asking designers for free clothes. "I'm really particular," she explained. "I want to wear what I want to wear, and it's just easier. I just think, 'I'll buy it.' … I wanna wear what I wanna wear. I dress for myself, what I like." The burglars, who have not yet been found, reportedly made off with more than $100,000 worth of goods. |

My intentions in contacting his sister Angel were not of ill intent. I wanted to try to resolve the situation so we could all be a family. I now realize that wasn’t my place and I never should’ve done that,” Martin wrote via her Instagram Story over the weekend. “I let my feelings get the best of me as I was hormonal and pregnant and would take it back if I could. I did this out of love I know it was wrong. I hope he can find it in his heart to forgive me.” |
Holly Madison's Most Telling Quotes About 'Cutthroat' Playboy Mansion Posted: 07 Dec 2021 07:50 AM PST No matter how much time passes, Holly Madison's bombshell claims about the Playboy Mansion never fail to ruffle some bunny feathers. Madison dated Hugh Hefner from 2001 to 2008, with E! cameras documenting three years of her romance with the Playboy founder on The Girls Next Door. While she was Hefner's "main girlfriend" after his split from Tina Jordan, Madison became known as part of a trio alongside Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson. The Holly's World alum initially detailed her time in the mansion in her 2015 memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, alleging that Hefner offered the women drugs and detailing the bizarre rules and regulations amongst the women. "I thought I was an adult and thought I was making my free choice. And I was," she wrote about her decision to move into the mansion. "But I wasn’t sophisticated or really prepared. And kind of got in over my head. … I could understand how people thought it was strange. But I guess I wasn’t comfortable enough to explain why I thought it would be fun or why I thought it would be a good idea." More than five years after the memoir made headlines, Madison got candid about her relationship — and sex life — with Hefner during an appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. "I started to feel like I was in love with him," Madison told host Alex Cooper. "Looking back at it, it was a very Stockholm syndrome kind of thing where I felt like I identified with him, he was complimenting me so much, I started, in my mind, started blaming all the other problems on the other women.” Hefner and Madison split in 2008 after Marquardt and Wilkinson decided to move out too. "He started lashing out at me more for really stupid things and I just realized, like, I can't be here, like, this guy is an a—hole. But even still, I felt guilty leaving," she recalled to Cooper. "It took time, it took me being interested in another man before I finally was like, 'I have to pull the plug because I'm not gonna cheat.' It just goes along with all the love-bombing stuff and the 'We're gonna be together forever, and we're gonna be together the rest of my life' and blah, blah, blah. He would compare me to Belle in Beauty and Beast, like, I just came along to this castle." Hefner, who went on to marry Crystal Hefner (née Harris) in 2012, died in 2017. After Madison's book came out, he told Us Weekly in a statement: “Over the course of my life I’ve had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives, and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight. I guess, as the old saying goes, ‘You can’t win ’em all!'” Scroll through for the most telling quotes from Madison about her time in the mansion: ![]() In a sneak peek for A&E’s Secrets of Playboy documentary event, Madison claimed that Hefner flipped out on her over a haircut. "I got to a point, not too far into my time there — I think it was, like, six months in — where I kind of broke under that pressure being made to feel I had to look like everyone else. My hair was really long naturally, and I was just like, 'I'm gonna go chop my hair off so I can, at least, look a little different,'" she claimed. "I came back with short hair, and he flipped out on me. He was screaming at me and said it made me look old, hard and cheap." Shutterstock ![]() "I didn't realize that getting into the Playboy world was a dangerous choice," the model said in the promo for Secrets of Playboy released in August 2021. Shutterstock ![]() Madison revealed she struggled with her body image issues during her time in the mansion via a July 2021 TikTok video. “So for a recent post, I was looking for pictures of myself in a bunny costume and I came across one. It reminded me of a moment in my life where I was watching a playback of myself in a fashion show and I thought, ‘Oh, my God, I need to lose weight,'” the former reality star explained in the clip, alongside a photo of her from 2005. “[I] thought I had gained weight, and thought I hadn’t stuck to my diet, and I thought my thighs were huge and I thought, ‘I need to lose five pounds at least.’ And that’s ridiculous. I look like a stick.” Courtesy Holly Madison/TikTok ![]() While Wilkinson previously claimed that she didn’t have sex with Hefner before she moved into the mansion, Madison alleged on “Call Her Daddy” that she was lying. “I had to sleep with him first,” Madison told Cooper. ”I’m not trying to slut-shame anybody or anything, but nobody ever got asked to move in unless they had slept with him.” Wilkinson, for her part, fired back via Instagram in April 2021, replying, “Dude… it’s 2021 😂. Times have changed. I forgive and have kids to love and focus on.” Jim Smeal/BEI/Shutterstock ![]() Madison told Cooper that the women in the mansion would tell Hefner’s secretaries if they thought the other girlfriends were pocketing their weekly $1,000 “allowance” and not spending the money on their appearance. “It was horrendous the first three or four years I lived there. Before it was just me, Bridget and Kendra, it was me and six other women and it would rotate every couple years,” she said. “It was really cutthroat, nobody got along, everybody tried to snitch on the other or tell Hef a lie about the other to get someone kicked out.” Dave Allocca/Starpix/Shutterstock ![]() “I don’t remember a time in that bedroom I wasn’t wasted,” Madison told Cooper, alleging that Hefner offered her Quaaludes or "thigh openers” before they had sex for the first time. "Everybody would go upstairs and basically everybody would have sex and I didn't know what to expect," she recalled of her first time having sex with him. ”I think I had the feeling that, this is my first night out, maybe I won't be expected to do anything my first night. But then when I got up there, I was so wasted and thrown into it, that once it was done, there was something about the experience that made me feel very out of control." Madison recalled the Quaaludes story in her book too. “’Usually I don't approve of drugs, but you know, in the '70s they used to call these pills thigh openers,’” she claimed he said to her at the time. Peter Brooker/Shutterstock ![]() Madison has been open about the fact that she tried to have a child with Hefner during their relationship. She told Cooper how grateful she was that her attempts to conceive didn’t work out. “I knew it was because of him. I was healthy. He was just too old,” she said. “When I had first gotten into that situation and something happened in my mind that first night I had sex, where I felt like, ‘Ok I did that. I like breached my own boundaries and I wasn’t comfortable with it. Now I have to make this situation into something.’ I almost locked myself into this box.” Shutterstock ![]() Madison told Cooper that living in the mansion felt like a "life sentence" with “cultish” rules. “It's a very cult-like atmosphere anyway and you're manipulated to feel that way, but on top of it, my own shame kept me there too. I just couldn't really imagine a life outside of there,” she said. Madison also detailed the rules of the mansion, including a 9 p.m. curfew and having group sex with Hefner twice a week. “Imagine having sex with somebody in a room full of women who all hate you and you know they're all talking s—t about you. Like, how horrible?” she told Cooper. “It was gross." Madison shared more NSFW details, alleging that Hefner wouldn’t “pleasure” the women, explaining that if they had their underwear on in the bedroom it was a signal they were on their period or didn’t want to have sex and claiming that Hefner “would get mad if somebody wasn't shaved.” Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() Madison claimed in her book that Hefner created drama within the house over living arrangements and their appearances. She recalled one alleged incident when Hefner called her “old, hard and cheap” for wearing red lipstick before praising Wilkinson for the same look. When asked about her status with Wilkinson in April 2021, Madison simply said they weren’t in touch. She told Cooper that she and Marquardt, meanwhile, have “always been close." Sipa/Shutterstock ![]() Madison alleged in her book that she, Wilkinson and Marquardt weren’t paid for season 1 of the E! series. During her candid chat with Cooper, she said the three girls were “under duress" when they signed the contracts. “They just thought that because we lived there, they just owned us,” she claimed. “I didn’t want to sign it because I felt like it was creepy … It felt like it was a contract to be in a relationship. … [Hef said], ‘That’s sweet, but we need it today or E! isn’t going to order the show.’ And I don’t really believe a network would operate that way so I think they were lying, but it was a creepy.” Marion Curtis/Starpix/Shutterstock |
Pregnant Jennifer Lawrence Jokes She 'Had a Ton of Sex' During Acting Hiatus Posted: 07 Dec 2021 06:47 AM PST Making the most of her time off! Pregnant Jennifer Lawrence detailed her acting hiatus to Stephen Colbert on Monday, December 6. When the Late Show With Stephen Colbert host, 57, asked the actress, 31, what she did while pausing her career, she cradled her bump and joked, "I just had a ton of sex." (News broke in September that the Oscar winner is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney.) After Colbert congratulated Lawrence and shook her hand, she clarified that she was "joking" and said, "I cooked a little. The pandemic happened, and then I cooked and I cleaned a lot. … I think I would be a really good housekeeper. No, I really do. I make a mess, but I’m really good at cleaning it up. I can attack a mess." After the Don’t Look Up star joked that she learned "deep and profound" things during her break that she didn't want to share with the talk show host, she elaborated on her years off. "It was really nice," Lawrence said. "I've always found comfort in a schedule and doing something and being somewhere and just the comfort of being on set where the world is one thing and very organized. There are not people screaming. Coming out of Hunger Games, it was nice [to take] a break. Nobody really cared, and it was quiet. I got to, like, feel like I could become a part of the world again without fanfare, literal fanfare." The Passengers star announced in September 2017 that she would be taking a break from acting, telling the Today show cohosts that she would be "making pots" in the meantime. "I don't have anything set for two years," she said at the time. Three years later, the Golden Globe winner told Heather McMahan on the "Absolutely Not" podcast that Hollywood "just doesn't stop," explaining, "It's like the next big movie, do this, do this, do this. And you're like, 'Oh ,my God. Great, great. What a, what an amazing opportunity.' And you're just a part of this machine. And then you're like, 'Wait a minute. I've lost track of the kind of films that I want to make and why I want to make them.' I felt like my career had taken on a life of its own. … I just had to make some changes and I did." The Red Sparrow star started dating Maroney, 37, in 2018, and the gallerist proposed the following year. Lawrence wed the Vermont native in October 2019 in Rhode Island. |
Besties! Khloe Kardashian, Scott Disick’s Sweetest Friendship Moments Posted: 07 Dec 2021 05:30 AM PST BFFs 4 life! Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick's friendship is a bond that can't be broken — and anyone who's been keeping up with the Kardashians knows it. Kardashian and Disick first met in 2006 after the Flip it Like Disick star started dating Kourtney Kardashian. However, it took some time for Khloé to learn to love the father of her niece, Penelope, and nephews, Mason and Reign, whom he shares with her eldest sister. On a 2009 episode of KUWTK, Khloé slapped Disick after accusing him of getting the Poosh founder pregnant with their oldest son, Mason, so that he could "not let anyone else have her.” Despite their ups and downs over the years, though, they're now closer than ever. "We have come such a long way, you and I!" the Kocktails With Khloé host wrote via Instagram on Disick's 36th birthday in May 2019. "I am so thankful for the person that you have grown into. I am thankful for every [one of the] highs and lows because we have been through it all and we are closer than ever. I am proud to say that you are my brother and also one of my best friends!" Disick, who dated Kourtney for nine years before splitting in 2015, has become more like a sibling to Khloé than a friend — which is why she has no time for the rumors that she and her sister's ex have hooked up. After someone on Instagram wrote they "refuse to believe they've never shagged" in response to her 2019 birthday tribute to Disick, the Good American founder clapped back. "The comment you made makes me feel sad for you," she began in a lengthy response. "I feel sad for you because apparently you don't have relationships in your life that can be completely platonic. You don't have relationships where someone genuinely loves and cares about you without wanting anything else besides a friendship." The Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons alum continued: "Scott and I are family. Our family (Scott included) have experienced a ton together and we love each other fiercely because of it all." One month later, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Disick has "always had a soft spot for Khloé and she for him, despite any struggles that he may have had personally or with Kourtney and the family in the past. She was always there for him and in her time of need, he will always be there for her." Keep scrolling to see some of Khloé and Disick's best moments together: ![]() Over the years, Khloé and Disick have pulled off a few good tricks. Most notably, their “Art Vandelay” scheme in 2018, which proved that Kris Jenner’s obsession with art was as fake as the Seinfeldian artist they hired to fool her. However, their greatest prank might be one that started way back in 2014. For years, the pair have been spotted holding hands — and, in July 2019, the Celebrity Apprentice alum explained what that was all about.“Scott and I, the reason why we started holding hands was because in Vegas, we were going for Kim’s birthday, and we were walking down the red carpet and Scott went to grab Kourtney’s hand, but he accidentally grabbed mine and everyone got pictures,” Khloe explained while talking to AOL. “It was for, like, a second, but everyone got pictures and thought we were, like, together or whatever — over a hand hold! — so then we just started f–king with everyone.” MEGA ![]() Scott to the rescue! The Talentless founder came to Khloé’s defense after a social media user insulted her looks in June 2021.“Who is she?!” the person wrote alongside a photo the reality TV star shared of herself, to which Disick replied, “Who isn’t she? That’s the question!” Courtesy of Scott Disick/Instagram ![]() After Disick dropped a slew of Talentless merch, Khloé was quick to shout out his new clothing line via her Instagram story in September 2021.Her show of solidarity came one month after he gushed over her latest Good American design. “Loving khlo’s new camo for @goodamerican @khloekardashian,” he captioned a photo of the cofounder in August 2021, to which Khloé replied, “Awwwwww thank you LD!!!!!” Shutterstock (2) ![]() Disick got a little cheeky with his response to a November 2020 photo Khloé posted looking glam while sitting in a white furry seat. “Love that chair,” he wrote via Instagram. “Love [you] in it even more [though].” Courtesy of Khloe Kardashian/Instagram ![]() Disick sent the Revenge Body host a bouquet of pink roses in December 2021 after it was reported that her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson was the subject of a paternity suit brought by personal trainer Maralee Nichols, who claimed that the NBA star is the father of her child.“I love you @letthelordbewithyou,” she wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of the blooms. “Thank you.”In June 2019, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the Long Island, NY native “always looked at Khloé as a sister and he’s seen her been burned by men over the years and he hates that for her.” Shutterstock (2) |
