| Wells Adams: Chris Harrison Has 'Something Up His Sleeve' After 'Bachelor' Exit Posted: 07 Dec 2021 11:17 AM PST Making a comeback! Following Chris Harrison‘s departure from the Bachelor franchise, Wells Adams reveals that he wouldn’t be shocked to see his friend branching out with a new project soon. “I’m not him. I can’t speak for him. But I got a feeling that he’s got something up his sleeve,” Adams, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly on Monday, November 6, while promoting his participation with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. “That’s my feeling. That something has been cooking with the old Harrison. I’m excited to see what he does.” The former Bachelorette contestant noted that he has stayed in touch with Harrison, 50, and even received support amid his own hosting endeavors. “He’s doing really well. He actually was the first person to congratulate me after I announced that I’m hosting this new show on Hulu called Best In Dough,” Adams noted to Us. “[That] is a testament to his character that he was the first person to be like, ‘Hey man, I’m really proud of you. Good job. You deserve this.'” The longtime Bachelor host temporarily stepped down from the franchise in February after he supported contestant Rachael Kirkconnell‘s history of racially insensitive social media posts. He confirmed four months later that he would be departing the Bachelor franchise permanently. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams took over for Harrison as cohosts on The Bachelorette host for season 17 and season 18. In September, ABC announced that Jesse Palmer scored the hosting job on The Bachelor after originally appearing on the fifth season. “For more than 20 years, The Bachelor has brought the world dozens of unforgettable love stories, including at one time, my own,” the sports commentator, 43, shared in a statement to Us following the news. “Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.” Adams, for his part, shared that it “makes sense” that Palmer was offered the role due to his past experience. “I’m happy for him,” the California native said to Us. “We’ll see how he does. The Truth of the matter is that [these are] tough shoes to fill. Everyone was very accustomed to Chris doing that job. Also, like, change is hard for the audience. They understand that it’s going to be probably a weird thing for people to see. But I’ve met Jesse and I know him. He’s a wonderful dude, so I’m happy.” Adams, who was promoted to "master of ceremonies” during season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise following his tenure as the show's official bartender, also admitted that he wanted the Bachelor hosting job as well. “Did I want to have the best job in the world? Yes. I wanted that job. Of course, I did. I told people, I told the heads of everything that I wanted that job,” the radio DJ added, noting that he wouldn’t mind taking over as host on BiP instead. “I don’t know what the thought is on that. I think I should be. But I also still want to be the bartender because I think that job is more important than the host,” he explained. “I truly am embedded with them. So, we’ll see. I think it makes the most sense.” For now, Adams is focused on the upcoming Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions that is set to run from Thursday, January 20 until Sunday, January 23 in Orlando, Florida. “It’s really the best of the best [that will be playing] because you have to have won a tournament to get into this one. These women are going to be playing for a little bragging rights and a whole lot of money. Then there are a bunch of celebrity [players]. Well, I’m putting myself in air quotes because I’m not a celebrity, but they’ve allowed me to be playing with them amongst some real celebrities,” Adams joked. “So, it’s going to be a beautiful four days of women showcasing how great they are at golf and then a bunch of us showcasing how bad [we are].” The experience will be a first for Adams, who considers himself a “pretty good golfer,” noting, “I grew up playing golf, but it is a big difference between going out and playing with your buddies and going out with a bunch of gallery people and cameras.” With reporting by Christina Garibaldi |

Halle Berry found something special with Van Hunt and has enjoyed showing off her relationship to her fans. Berry was previously married three times: to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, to Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005 and to Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016. She shares son Maceo (born in 2013) with Martinez and daughter Nahla (born in 2008) with ex Gabriel Aubry. In August 2020, Hunt posted a cute photo of the couple for the very first time with the caption, “kisses land softly.” The following month, Berry confirmed that she was dating Hunt on Instagram after previously teasing that she had a new man in her life. Two months later, a source told Us Weekly that the pair were getting serious and that Hunt was “a wonderful, caring man” to the actress. | Selena Gomez Shares 'Hilarious' Holiday Tradition She Can't Wait For Posted: 07 Dec 2021 10:30 AM PST Christmas pajamas, baking sweet treats and decorating trees with family … oh my! There is no right — or wrong — way to get into the holiday spirit, and many celebrities have shared their favorite traditions during the special season. Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland spent their first Christmas together as an engaged couple in 2019. Just one year before, the Bachelor in Paradise bartender told Us Weekly exclusively what Christmas tradition they were starting together. "Our only tradition — because we're so new, like we've just finished a year dating — for Christmas we wear onesies, which is what everyone does," the former Bachelorette contestant told Us in November 2018. "It's fun because you're hungover on Christmas Day and it's comfy." Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos get to spend Christmas together alongside their three children: Michael, Lola and Joaquin. Every year, the All My Children alums have their kids pose for a Christmas card. The bunch also traditionally attend mass on Christmas Eve. For the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost revealed how her family has adjusted their celebrations by attending mass via Zoom and making dinner at home. "I will make the feast of the singular fish — the feast of the mollusk. I'm not a chef, but I can make a delicious linguine and clam," she told SheKnows for its December 2020 digital issue. Ripa will additionally bake her grandmother's Spritz cookies during the holiday season. "I used to labor under this belief that my children would join me and this would be such a family event and everybody would love doing it … and I think the kids maybe twice made cookies with me and the rest of the time they could not be bothered," she explained to the publication. While addressing the backlash that she received after appearing in a 1980s Calvin Klein jeans campaign, Brooke Shields revealed why her interview with Barbara Walters left a lasting impression. During an interview with Dax Shepard on his “Armchair Expert” podcast, Shields, 56, responded to his claim that the infamous interview was a “maddening” experience. “It’s practically criminal. It’s not journalism,” the New York native admitted on Monday, December 6, referring to the attention she received from the ad. "The [interviewers] never wanted my answer. They just wanted their point of view." Shields originally made headlines after she modeled in a pair of jeans when she was 15 years old with the tagline, “You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.” The Blue Lagoon star recalled feeling as if people were shaming her and sexualizing her at the same time, saying, “They were mad at themselves for not figuring it out and taking it out on me.” At the time, Brooke was joined by her mother, Teri Shields, during the interview with Walters, 92, where she was asked intense questions including, "What are your measurements? Vanderpump Rules stars James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss went through “some real struggles” before they split and ended their engagement. “It was a tumultuous relationship,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the DJ, 29, and the former pageant queen, 26. “[Raquel] still wants the best for him. They had a happy time together. … She’s also grown as well and this relationship outgrew her. She has grown into being a strong woman.” The breakup “was definitely a hard decision” for the pair, the insider adds, noting that “there was a little discourse after the engagement” that prompted their split. The British reality star celebrated two years of sobriety in July. During the season 9 premiere of Vanderpump Rules two months later, Leviss called her then-fiancé “California sober,” clarifying that he still smoked weed. Kennedy “grew up a lot” once he stopped drinking, the source says, noting that the musician “changed as a person” after giving up alcohol. After sparking split speculation earlier this year, Tarik Myers seemed to confirm that his relationship with Hazel Cagalitan is officially over. “Hazel does not live with me anymore. She said she is [in] another state with people I don’t know. She is going back to the Philippines. I do know that bc she has no choice,” Tarik, 46, wrote via his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, December 7. “Please do not attack her or harass her like you’ve been doing for the last 3 years.” Tarik originally met Hazel, 28, during season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2018 when left his Virginia Beach home to visit her in the Philippines. Viewers later watched the duo tie the knot during season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé in March. | Why Rebel Wilson’s Team Didn’t Want Her to Lose Weight Posted: 07 Dec 2021 09:10 AM PST Not everyone was initially in support of Rebel Wilson's weight-loss journey — and the reason might surprise fans. The Pitch Perfect star, 41, revealed during an interview on the BBC Breakfast morning show on Tuesday, December 7, that her decision to focus on her health in 2020 led to some uncomfortable conversations with those closest to her. "I got a lot of pushback from my own team, actually, here in Hollywood, when I said, 'OK, I'm going to do this ‘Year of Health.’ I feel like I'm really going to physically transform and change my life,’" Wilson claimed. "And they were like, 'Why? Why would you want to do that?' Because I was earning millions of dollars being the funny fat girl and being that person." The Bridesmaids actress set out to transform herself last year after a visit to her doctor. However, her “Year of Health” wasn’t just about slimming down. "It first started when I was looking into fertility stuff and the doctor was like, 'Well, you'd have a much better chance if you were healthier,’" she revealed in a July Instagram Live video. "That's kind of what started it, that if I lost some excess weight that it would give me a better chance for freezing eggs and having the eggs be a better quality. … It wasn't even really myself, it was more thinking of a future mini-me, really." By the end of 2020, the Australian comedian had lost 70 pounds. Last month, she exclusively told Us Weekly about some of the "weird things" that happened to her body as a result. "My feet have shrunk," she told Us in November. "It is the weirdest thing because every time I put on high heels, they are always too big and I look like an idiot … It's the most annoying thing ever because who would have thought that your feet would lose weight?" While Wilson’s transformation drew plenty of attention, her goal was never to be thinner. The Super Fun Night alum told BBC Breakfast on Tuesday that she was "very confident being bigger" and could always "rock a red carpet" despite being "double the size or sometimes triple the weight of other actresses," but there were some aspects of her lifestyle that she wanted to change. "I knew deep down inside that some of the emotional eating behaviors I was doing was not healthy. I did not need a tub of ice cream every night," she said. "That was me numbing emotions using food, which wasn't the healthiest thing." The Pooch Perfect host realized that the pressure of "not being a natural performer and having to perform almost every day" led to her stress, which she often dealt with through emotional eating.  While Wilson is proud of herself for choosing to do what she believed was best for her — instead of following other people’s advice — the Isn't It Romantic actress does find the heightened focus on her body very strange. "I know what it's like to be a woman who was essentially invisible to most people because of not being seen as traditionally, like, beautiful or whatever," she told BBC Breakfast. "It's crazy to try and fit that. [It's] better to be the healthiest version [of yourself]." In October, the How To Be Single actress told Stellar, a magazine from Australia's Daily Telegraph, that she was had found the psychological root of her issues surrounding food. "I'm not totally cured. I don't think you can be," she said at the time. "But I've learn[ed] to manage it — and it's not by reaching for a bowl of ice cream." |
| Every Family Member Who Attended Josh Duggar's Trial Posted: 07 Dec 2021 08:42 AM PST As Josh Duggar's ongoing child pornography trial began on Tuesday, November 30, he was joined by several familiar faces in the courtroom. On the first day, the 19 Kids and Counting alum, 33, and wife Anna Duggar entered the Fayetteville, Arkansas, federal courthouse, side by side and holding hands. The next day, Anna, also 33, sat beside Derick Dillard. The 32-year-old Counting On alum, who married Josh's sister Jill Duggar in 2014, attended the proceedings one day after his wife's name was listed as a "confirmed or potential" witness alongside brother Jed Duggar. Days earlier, patriarch Jim Bob Duggar testified during a Monday, November 29, evidentiary hearing where he confirmed that his eldest son admitted to inappropriately touching four minor girls — several of whom were previously confirmed to be his sisters — in the early 2000s. During his testimony, Jim Bob, 56, revealed he could not recall the specific details of their conversation. “We were shocked this had happened but we were thankful he came on his own and told us,” Jim Bob told the prosecutors. “He had told me that he had touched some of the girls when they were sleeping on their breasts … they didn’t wake up." While many of Josh's family members have remained mum amid his legal proceeding since the court case began, cousin Amy King (née Duggar) has been more outspoken. "Today is a heavy day," Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's niece, 35, wrote via Instagram Story on Tuesday, after it was announced that a jury had been selected. "This whole week will be. Next week will be too. Until justice is served." In a second Story post, she wrote: "Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord, I will repay thee. Please pray for the victims and for the truth to be revealed. Pray that the judge will give the ultimate sentence." Josh was previously arrested in April for allegedly “receiving and possessing material depicting the sexual abuse of children," shortly after Anna announced the pair were expecting their seventh child. (Their daughter Madyson was born on October 23.) Josh — who also shares Mackynzie, 12, Michael, 10, Marcus, 8, Meredith, 6, Mason, 4, and Maryella, 2, with Anna — entered a not guilty plea amid his arrest before being released on bond several days later. Amid Josh's scandal, TLC canceled his siblings' Counting On reality TV series, which chronicled their daily family lives. Counting On premiered in December 2015 after 19 Kids and Counting stopped production amid his 2015 molestation scandal. "TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On," the network said in a statement to Us Weekly in June. "TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately." Jill and her husband, who previously exited the show in 2017, opened up about the cancellation via a blog post earlier this year. "We first heard of the cancellation when both a friend & a cousin each texted us after seeing TLC's statement online. We do not know how long the cancellation had been planned," the couple, who share sons Israel, 6, and Samuel, 4, wrote via their blog at the time. "It's been over 4 years now since we chose to step away from the show, and, although we were initially barred from sharing our decision to leave the show, we have opened up a little more recently on our social media. During our years on the show, we had many great experiences with the network, and several of the crew members have even become like family to us! However, we also faced many pressures and some unexpected challenges which forced us to step away from the show in an effort to gain more control over our own lives and to do what was best for our family." | RHOBH's PK Kemsley Arrested for DUI After Home Invasion Posted: 07 Dec 2021 08:29 AM PST  In hot water. Dorit Kemsley‘s husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, was arrested on suspicion of DUI last month, Us Weekly can confirm. The U.K. native, 54, was pulled over in Los Angeles on November 23. According to the arrest report, California Highway Patrol stopped him “for weaving on the westbound US-101.” After exiting the freeway, he “submitted to a chemical test.” The businessman’s blood alcohol content was .081, per a report from the Daily Mail. The legal limit in California is .08. After submitting to another test at the police department in Van Nuys, PK, who was alone in the car at the time, was cited and released. “Mr. Kemsley was cooperative throughout this incident,” the arrest report noted. The Kemsley family has had a rough couple of months. Dorit, 45, was robbed at gunpoint in her Encino, California, home on October 27. Two weeks after the incident, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recalled pleading for her children’s lives. The reality star shares son Jagger, 7, and daughter Phoenix, 5, with PK. “They were surprised to see me at home," the Beverly Beach designer told RHOBH costar Teddi Mellencamp during a November 9 interview with Extra. "They said, 'Who else is in the home?' There was someone else who said, 'Just kill her, just kill her already, just kill her,' and all I could think of [was], 'I have to save those babies.'” The Connecticut native said that her two children were asleep at the time, adding that she told the burglars to take whatever they wanted if they would spare her and her kids. "I begged them. I begged for my life, and begged for their [lives]," she recalled. "I said, 'I don't care about any of it, take it all. You can have it all. Please, I'm a mother of babies. Please, they need me. Please don't hurt me.'” PK, for his part, was away in the U.K. when the burglary occurred, but he returned right away when he heard the news. "I'm home and we are all together and will get through this," he wrote via Instagram two days after the robbery. "The babies are great they are the [sic] totally unaware and life is going to return to normal hopefully very quickly." The robbery occurred hours after part three of RHOBH reunion aired. During the episode, Dorit told host Andy Cohen that she pays for “every single piece” in her closet rather than asking designers for free clothes. "I'm really particular," she explained. "I want to wear what I want to wear, and it's just easier. I just think, 'I'll buy it.' … I wanna wear what I wanna wear. I dress for myself, what I like." Aaron Carter and his fiancée, Melanie Martin, appear to have patched up their relationship shortly after calling it quits. Martin shared an Instagram Story video on Monday, December 6, of the 34-year-old rapper snuggling with the couple’s newborn son, Prince. “Our other little baby bam bam In a separate Instagram Story, Martin uploaded a photo of the “I Want Candy” artist and their 2-week-old baby, who she said looked like they could be “seriously twins.” One day prior, Carter reportedly shared a sweet video of his own, gushing over Martin’s adjustment to being a new mom. “@missmelaniemartin I love you for giving me the greatest gift,” he captioned the Sunday, December 5, post. “You are an amazing woman l, my everything I am so grateful for you my darling.” The Florida native added: “Thank you to everyone who has been supportive. Relationships aren’t easy but we love, cherish and adore our son. #GodBless Xo.” The duo’s apparent reconciliation comes after TMZ reported that Child Protective Services was called to Carter’s home in Lancaster, California, after fans allegedly grew concerned for Prince’s safety. According to the outlet, CPS inspected the living conditions and left without incident. Martin seemingly addressed the situation via her Instagram Story on Sunday, writing, “Hey guys, I appreciate everyone’s advice. I am a new mom and I’m learning as I go. Madison dated Hugh Hefner from 2001 to 2008, with E! cameras documenting three years of her romance with the Playboy founder on The Girls Next Door. While she was Hefner's "main girlfriend" after his split from Tina Jordan, Madison became known as part of a trio alongside Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson. The Holly's World alum initially detailed her time in the mansion in her 2015 memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, alleging that Hefner offered the women drugs and detailing the bizarre rules and regulations amongst the women.
