“On behalf of the entire NFL family, we extend our condolences to [his wife] Virginia, [their sons] Mike [and] Joe and their families,” commissioner Roger Goodell noted in a statement shared via Twitter. “We all know him as the Hall of Fame coach of the Oakland Raiders and broadcaster who worked for every major network, but more than anything, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.”

Goodell, who has been head of the NFL since 2006, continued: “Nobody loved football more than Coach. He was football. He was an incredible sounding board to me and so many others. There will never be another John Madden, and we will forever be indebted to him for all he did to make football and the NFL what it is today.”

The tribute reassured fans that information regarding a memorial service for the Minnesota native would be “announced when available.”

Condolences from fellow football stars and other sports personalities came flooding in after the news made headlines. “When you think NFL football, you think John Madden,” former New England Patriots player Julian Edelman tweeted. “RIP to a Legend.”

While Madden was injured before getting a chance to play professionally — he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1958 — he maintained a successful track record as a coach, starting at the college level in 1960. He was later asked to join the staff of the Oakland Raiders, where he was head coach from 1969 to 1978. The California team won Super Bowl XI in 1977 under his leadership.

“I always thought his strong suit was his style of coaching,” late quarterback Ken Stabler, who was part of the Super Bowl XI team, once said, per ESPN. “John just had a great knack for letting us be what we wanted to be, on the field and off the field. … How do you repay him for being that way? You win for him.”

"I can’t throw another Surface or else I’ll get fined. Imagine that," the 44-year-old athlete said on the Monday, December 27, episode of his "Let's Go!" podcast.

The Buccaneers quarterback, who was shut out for the first time in 15 years against the Saints, noted that he is "sorry" and apologized for his actions on the sidelines. "I did get a warning from the NFL on that though," he explained. "I won’t throw another Surface."

The former New England Patriots player joked, "Although I think it was pretty good marketing for the Surface at the end of the day. I think it worked out pretty well for them."

Brady made headlines earlier this month as he failed to hide his frustration over his team scoring zero points. During the game, the seven-time Super Bowl champion was seen throwing a tablet on the bench while his team was getting beat on the field. He was also spotted yelling at a referee.

Some fans believed they later saw the California native yelling at the Saints staff during the fourth quarter and allegedly curse out the team's defensive coordinator, Dennis Allen.

Brady appeared to be tense after his team lost 9-0, telling WFLA post-game that it was "just football." While he wouldn't reveal what he said during the frustrating moment, he did deny spewing any negative comments at the opposing coaching staff.

"I don't think we were much good of anything tonight. … It was a lot of things," he explained as to why he thought the Bucs lost. "We have to do better in every facet of offensive football to score points — we're not going to win scoring no points."

Despite being annoyed by the final score, Brady did compliment the other team for their hard work. "They are well-coached, have a lot of great players — a lot of veteran players that have played together for a long time. They did a great job," he said after the defeat.

Saints player C.J. "Ceedy" Gardner-Johnson poked fun at Brady's sideline display the following day, tweeting, "Hey @Microsoft @surface, can y'all send me a new Surface Tablet? I need to give it to a friend who broke his. Thank you and Merry Christmas."

Football fans also got in on the fun, trolling the former University of Michigan quarterback online. "Tom Brady threw more tablets than touchdowns tonight," one user joked.

Snoop Dogg, on the other hand, came to Brady's defense, telling NBC commentators on December 19, "I just love being friends with somebody that goes as hard as I do."

Alex Rodriguez and Cynthia Scurtis’ Ups and Downs Through the Years

Posted: 28 Dec 2021 04:34 PM PST

A rocky road. Alex Rodriguez and his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, weren't always able to put on a united front for their daughters.

The baseball player met Scurtis at a Miami gym in the late '90s and they struck up a friendship. After dating for several years, they walked down the aisle in 2002. Two years later, more attention was on their relationship as Rodriguez started playing for The New York Yankees.

"I'm having fun here in the city – I like it," Scurtis told The New York Post in 2004. "Miami is my home, my family is there, but I love it here."

During a joint interview on the Today show that same year, the former psychology teacher told Matt Lauer that she was "flattered" by the attention the media gave Rodriguez for his looks. "He's my husband and if people find him attractive and sexy, great," she said at the time.

The twosome went on to welcome daughter Natasha that year. Four years later, Scurtis gave birth to their second daughter, Ella, and their relationship crumbled. The Ohio State graduate filed for divorce in July 2008, citing "emotional abandonment" and "marital misconduct" in the court documents.

Reports later surfaced that Scurtis accused Rodriguez of having an inappropriate relationship with Madonna, who had allegedly introduced him to her Kabbalah faith. The "Material Girl" songstress, who was married to Guy Ritchie at the time, denied the rumors in a statement.

"I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez," she said in 2008. "I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study."

Rodriguez subsequently entered a series of high-profile relationships, dating Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, tech CEO Anne Wojcicki and Jennifer Lopez. While he proposed to the "Let's Get Loud" songstress in 2019 after two years together, the twosome called off their nuptials in April 2021.

Scurtis, for her part, moved on with Miami-based relator Angel Nicolas and welcomed daughter Camilla in 2016. While it's unclear when they wed, Nicolas started sharing wedding photos in early 2020, commemorating their anniversary that June.

"Happy anniversary my love! I don't know where I would be without you, but I do know that I am the happiest I have ever been. You and the girls complete me," he gushed in June 2020 via Instagram. "Love you 😘 #iloveyou #happyanniversary #familyiseverything #greece #paros #nicolasfamily."

Rodriguez and Scurtis, meanwhile, made headlines for a child support battle more than a decade after their split. Scroll through for a timeline of their ups and downs:

1990s
“In the beginning, it was kind of crazy. He traveled a lot, and I was working and I was also in school getting my graduate degree,” Scurtis recalled to Lauer in 2004 about the early days of her relationship with Rodriguez, whom she met in the late ‘90s. “And so, it was more, I would say, a friendship that developed into a relationship.” Chris Connor/WENN Newscom/Mega

Less than three months after Scurtis gave birth to Ella, she filed for divorce and their split got messy quick. 2008
In July 2008, Scurtis’ attorney Earle Lilly claimed to People magazine that Rodriguez’s relationship with Madonna was "an affair of the heart" and not ”sexual infidelity." Amid the reports, which Madonna denied at the time, the athlete’s lawyer said in a statement: "His priorities are to have a future with his children and be a big part of their lives.” Speculation about Scurtis’ relationship with Lenny Kravitz surfaced, but he denied any romantic feelings between the pair. “Cynthia is a friend and is here with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex’s trainer, his wife and their baby girl,” Kravitz said in the statement at the time. “She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.” Despite the drama, the twosome finalized their divorce in 2008: “Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings," Rodriguez’s lawyer said in a statement at the time. "They deliberately engaged in a private negotiation. This was and remains a personal family matter for both of them. All of their decisions were based upon and guided by the best interests of their daughters.” Shutterstock (2)

Several years after their split, Rodriguez and Scurtis proved to be on good terms, attending Parent-Teacher Day at Ella’s school in March 2017. The outing came shortly after news of his romance with Lopez broke. Courtesy of Alex Rodriguez/Instagram

Things seemingly took a turn in 2018 amid Rodriguez’s relationship with Lopez after the former spouses reportedly disagreed over child support during mediation. “All I can tell you, there’s been a shift, and I’m not sure what to attribute it to,” Scurtis told The New York Post at the time. “Alex has dated some wonderful women since our divorce, many of whom have had positive relationships with our children. Alex and I have worked well trying to create a stable environment for our daughters and there has never been an issue. Until now.” In a statement to TMZ, Scurtis also fired back at reports that Rodriguez believed she could make a living of her own: ”To ensure that our daughters had a stable upbringing, and given his extensive traveling, Alex requested that I discontinue working and make parenting my primary focus." Through her lawyer, Scurtis added at the time: "I find it terribly disheartening, shocking and disappointing that Alex has resorted to reporting falsehoods. Why he seeks sympathy from the press and public baffles me." Rodriguez never publicly commented on the alleged child support dispute. J Pat Carter/AP/Shutterstock

The blended families put their differences aside for Natasha’s middle school graduation in 2019. Rodriguez shared a snap with Lopez, Scurtis and Nicolas via Instagram for the occasion. “How is my beautiful angel going to be a freshman in High School?! Congrats Tashi, we love you! 👩🏽‍🎓❤️,” he captioned the snap, which also included his daughter Ella and Lopez’s twins with ex Marc Anthony.   Courtesy of Alex Rodriguez/Instagram

Following her split from Rodriguez, Lopez got back together with ex-fiancé Ben Affleck, whom she was previously engaged to from 2002 to 2004. Not long after Bennifer 2.0 took the internet by storm, the baseball commentator snapped a pic with Scurtis. “Cynthia is a world class mommy to our girls … wrapping ice though?!?!?! LOL,” he quipped alongside a post of his ex-wife assisting him with ice on his leg at the gym. The former spouses also posed for a pic with Nicolas. Courtesy of Alex Rodriguez/Instagram

“Today I am celebrating someone very special in my life,” Rodriguez wrote via Instagram in December 2021 in honor of Scurtis’ 49th birthday. “Someone who continues to make a difference in my daughters’ lives every day and has my eternal respect and admiration. A very happy birthday to you, Cynthia!!” The retired third baseman added: “You’ve always been a wonderful mother and role model to our two incredible daughters. You always put their needs first and have helped shape them into the strong young women they have become. … Here’s to you on your special day, Cynthia. The New York native called himself "extremely lucky" to coparent with Scurtis because of how involved they both are in their girls' lives.

"Most people only have a 50-50 split of time with their kids. With us, it feels more like 100-100," he wrote. "Living in close proximity and working together despite busy schedules has allowed both of us to remain integral and active in the development of two young women whose future is limitless. And I have you to thank in large part for that."

Rodriguez — who shared photos of the exes with their kids through the years, including moments with the former psychology teacher’s now-husband, Angel Nichols — concluded by describing how grateful he is that Scurtis made him a father.

"Here's to you on your special day, Cynthia," he added. "Thank you for giving me the greatest two gifts any man could have. ❤."

Us Weekly previously reported that Rodriguez and Scurtis spend "a lot of time together" with their daughters, especially after the former baseball player split from Jennifer Lopez in April.

Rodriguez has had "more downtime" since calling off his engagement to the Hustlers actress, 52, earlier this year. "[He] genuinely enjoys hanging out with his family," the source said, adding that the retired MLB star is in a "good place" with Scurtis.

The blended family, who celebrated Thanksgiving together in November, have become even closer following Rodriguez and Lopez’s breakup. "[Cynthia] wasn't the biggest fan of [J. Lo]," a second insider told Us in June, noting that Natasha and Ella are "happy to see their parents getting along well and getting to be together as a family again."

Inside Meghan King's Split From Husband Cuffe Owens: What Went Wrong?

Not the right fit. Meghan King was hopeful about her future with Cuffe Owens after their whirlwind wedding, but the pair simply weren’t on the same page.

“They didn’t really get the chance to know each other,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly after King, 37, confirmed she and the lawyer called it quits. “She was hoping for this fairy-tale life with him, but it was far from it.”

The twosome tied the knot in October after three weeks of dating. Before their split, the duo faced obstacles “that ultimately put strain on the marriage,” the insider notes.

“She wasn’t ready to move her whole life back to California after she spent some time getting settled into Missouri,” the source says of the former reality star, who shares daughter Aspen, 5, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 3, with ex-husband Jim Edmonds. “The kids and her ex are based in St. Louis.”

King “was hoping” Owens would consider relocating to join her in the Midwest, but President Joe Biden‘s nephew planned to stay in California.

Weeks after crossing paths with Owens on the dating app Raya, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star was convinced she’d found The One, telling Brides in October that “Cuffe was booked and packed for a flight to St. Louis” within days of their first conversation. “We didn’t leave each other’s side for weeks,” she gushed at the time.

However, the marriage wasn’t meant to be. King announced via Instagram Stories on Monday, December 27, that she and Owens were over, shortly before she removed “wife” from her social media bio.

“I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating,” the reality TV alum wrote. “This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows — and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out. I am moving forward with my children as we privately process our pain and begin to let go of shattered dreams.”

She concluded: “At this time I ask for your grace and gentle kindness as I navigate this labyrinth of grief with my family.”

Following her split, King told Us, “We spent every day together. There was no time apart since we met.”

While Owens’ last name is no longer part of King’s social media presence, she didn’t wipe her wedding photos from her feed. “We just knew,” the “Intimate Knowledge” podcast host captioned an October post from the low-key ceremony.

At the time, Edmonds, 52, told the Daily Mail that his ex-wife gave him a call before she walked down the aisle.

“It was the first I heard anything about it. I thought it was a joke – they’d been dating for about four weeks!” the former MLB player said. “I wondered, ‘Is she pregnant?’ But is it even possible to know that just four weeks after the first date? … Really I have no emotion on her wedding one way or another. It’s like a stranger getting married. I have no connection to her.”

The retired center fielder split from King in October 2019 after five years of marriage. He has since moved on with Kortnie O’Connor. Us confirmed in August that the duo got engaged after more than one year together.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Family Members: A Comprehensive Guide

Posted: 28 Dec 2021 02:07 PM PST

They'll be back! Since Arnold Schwarzenegger burst on the scene in the 1980s, his family has gone on to become one of the most successful — and recognizable — clans in Hollywood.

Three of the Terminator star's five children have followed in his footsteps and made names for themselves in the entertainment industry: Katherine Schwarzenegger, a self-help and children's book author; Christina Schwarzenegger, an up-and-coming producer; and Patrick Schwarzenegger, an actor and model.

Maria Shriver, who was married to Arnold for 25 years, is famous in her own right too. After volunteering for her father Sargent Shriver's 1972 vice presidential campaign, the niece of the late President John F. Kennedy became a broadcast journalist. With Emmy and Peabody Awards under her belt, she has coanchored shows including Sunday Today, NBC Nightly News and Dateline in addition to covering the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.

Arnold and Maria are also the parents of Christopher Schwarzenegger. Additionally, the former California governor has a third son, Joseph Baena, whom he shares with the family's former housekeeper Mildred "Patty" Baena. Their affair prompted the journalist to file for divorce from the Twins actor in July 2011. Us Weekly confirmed in December 2021 that the proceedings were finalized.

Arnold opened up about his well-known family during a 2015 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, saying his five children "just do their own thing." And while many of them have chosen to pursue careers in the public eye, the patriarch promised to give them two thumbs-up regardless.

"I made it very clear to my kids: I don't care if they're a plumber, if they're a writer or if they're a teacher," he said on the SiriusXM talk show at the time. "Whatever they want to do, [I will support them], as long as they're passionate."

10 Celebrity Couples Who Had the Longest Divorces

Posted: 28 Dec 2021 02:04 PM PST

Getting messy! Celebrity divorces aren't as glamorous as their Hollywood beginnings, and some last almost as long as the marriages themselves.

Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, for example, were separated for 10 years before finalizing their divorce in December 2021. The couple split after the Kindergarten Cop actor admitted to fathering a child with their housekeeper Mildred Baena while they were married.

“I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family,” the actor said in a statement after calling it quits on the 25-year marriage. “There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been legally single since April 2019 but have yet to agree on a custody arrangement for their six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne, following their initial 2016 split.

In March 2021, the Wanted actress accused Pitt of domestic violence amid their years-long divorce battle. A source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that Jolie was "weaponizing their children in a last-ditch effort to gain a favorable outcome that will allow her to move the kids out of Los Angeles at her whim, without Brad's approval or knowledge."

The insider added: "This process had taken a toll on Brad, and he has taken accountability for his role in the breakdown of the marriage."

While the source assured Us that Pitt "never" laid a hand on any of the children or his estranged wife, he feared the filing would sway custody in the actress' favor. "The kids have had endured so much trauma and this is just piling it on, but it's out of Brad's control," the insider said. "The time for compromise is over. He is done and won't be manipulated by her ever again."

Eight years after separating from her husband, Bethenny Frankel finalized her divorce from Jason Hoppy in January 2021. Hours after news broke in March 2021 of her divorce being complete, the Skinnygirl founder celebrated getting engagement to Paul Bernon. The couple had sparked engaged speculation earlier that month when Frankel was spotted with a giant diamond ring on her left hand while soaking up some sun on the beach in Florida.

Celebrity duos including Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck and Amy Poehler and Will Arnett also had prolonged separations lasting three and four years, respectively from split to legally single. Scroll down to relive the longest divorces in Hollywood.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — 4 Years and Counting
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor and the Tomb Raider actress separated in September 2016 after two years of marriage. Although they were declared legally single in April 2019, their divorce has not been finalized. The duo are working on coming to an agreement regarding custody of their six children. A source exclusively told Us in September 2020 that Pitt was seeking “50/50 physical and legal custody of the kids.” Two months later, he was able to spend Christmas Day with his youngest three, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, after they spent the night with him on Christmas Eve. Three months later, the pair’s divorce turned dark once again when Jolie filed court documents regarding incidents of alleged domestic violence involving the actor. The filing stated that both the Maleficent actress and her children are willing to offer “proof and authority in support” of their claims against the Fight Club star. Jolie agreed to provide testimony herself, along with the “testimony of minor children.” A source told Us at the time that Jolie has used the pair’s children to “hurt” Pitt in the past. The Grey’s Anatomy star had a lengthy legal battle with Drake-Lee following their initial split in April 2017. The actor was married to the real estate broker for more than four years before they decided to go their separate ways. In September 2019, the pair reached an agreement that awarded both parents joint legal and physical custody of their daughter Sadie and son Maceo. The settlement stated that Williams must pay $40,000 per month in child support but would keep what he earned from the ABC series since they split. He also was not responsible for spousal support after settling two outstanding payments from 2019. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom — 3 Years
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star filed for divorce from the NBA star in December 2013 after four years of marriage. Kardashian later withdrew the papers when Odom suffered a near-fatal overdose in October 2015. At the time, the Revenge Looks Better Naked author served as her estranged husband’s caretaker. Once he was better, Kardashian filed for divorce a second time in May 2016. Their divorce was finalized seven months later, with both parties waving spousal support. Shutterstock
Richard Gere and Carey Lowell — 3 Years
The Pretty Woman star split from Lowell in September 2013 after 11 years of marriage. The duo, who share son Homer, resolved custody issues early on, but didn’t finalized their legal separation until October 2016. Gere moved on with Alejandra Silva, whom he married in April 2018. Amy Poehler and Will Arnett — 2 Years
Us exclusively broke the news in September 2012 that the Parks and Recreation alum and the LEGO Movie star were separating after nine years of marriage. Nearly two years later, Arnett, who share sons Archie and Abel with Poehler, filed for divorce in April 2014. Their divorce was finalized two years later in July 2016. Shutterstock

The Terminator star, 74, and the I've Been Thinking author, 66, finalized their legal separation on Tuesday, December 28, one decade after Shriver initially filed for divorce following Schwarzenegger's cheating scandal.

The Kindergarten Cop actor married Shriver in 1986 after meeting at a tennis event nine years prior. The duo welcomed four childrenKatherine Schwarzenegger, Christina Schwarzenegger, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Christopher Schwarzenegger — between 1989 and 1997.

The journalist stood by Arnold's side as he served as the governor of California for two terms from 2003 to 2011 — but they hit a bump in the road after 25 years together when the Austria native revealed he'd been unfaithful years prior.

News broke in May 2011 that Arnold had an affair with the family's former housekeeper, Mildred "Patty Baena, in 1997 and fathered a child, son Joseph Baena.

“I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family,” the Jingle All the Way actor said in a statement, announcing that he and Shriver separated in the wake of the scandal. “There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement founder, for her part, released a statement of her own, saying, "This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal."

Shriver filed for divorce in July of that year. Us confirmed at the time that the Chicago native was seeking joint legal and physical custody of the pair's then-minor children, Patrick and Christopher.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver's daughter cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for separating after more than two decades together. She also asked for Arnold to pay her attorney's fees and spousal support, according to court documents obtained by Us.

The Predator actor spoke out about the affair in November 2017, telling Fox News that it was a "major, major screw-up" on his part.

Despite not being legally divorce until this month, the exes have seemingly moved forward with their lives and continue to coparent their four children. In fact, the former couple have embraced being grandparents to Katherine's 16-month-old daughter, Lyla, who she shares with husband Chris Pratt.

"They really love [being grandparents]," the Gift of Forgiveness author, 32, exclusively told Us in December 2020. "It's such a great and cool new role for both of them to be able to experience. Also, for me as their daughter to watch them in this new role is such a beautiful thing."

Arnold and Shriver are going to be grandparents for a second time in 2022, with Katherine and Pratt, 42, announcing earlier this month that they are expecting baby No. 2. The Guardians of the Galaxy star is also father of son Jack, 9, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.

The Catwoman star, 55, was recently tagged in a fan appreciation post about Bailey, 21, and her upcoming role as Ariel in the live-action version of The Little Mermaid — but she didn't mind the mix up.

"Can't wait to see you under da sea," a Twitter user wrote, adding a mermaid emoji. Berry was quick to clear up the accidental tag, replying on Monday, December 27, "… wrong Halle lol."

The Oscar winner added, "I can't wait to see her too though!"

While most of Berry's fans were aware of the name mishap, some jumped on the idea of having the Ohio native as a part of the underwater story line.

"Both @halleberry & @HalleBailey in the new #TheLittleMermaid movie would be so #iconic," one user replied to Berry's correction tweet.

Another fan praised the Die Another Day actress for getting mistaken for a younger celebrity, writing, "Gotta love being confused with someone 30+ years younger than you, though! Says a lot about how gracefully you have aged!"

Stars Who Played Disney Characters in Live-Action Films

This isn't the first time that fans have been confused by the similar names of Berry and Bailey. When Disney first announced that the Grown-ish star would be playing Ariel, it threw some people for a loop as they misread the last name.

“Legit spent an hour trying to figure out why Disney cast Halle Berry as The Little Mermaid,” one person wrote at the time. “Then I realized it was Halle Bailey. I can’t be the only one…”

Another fan tweeted, “So, Halle Bailey is gonna be the Little Mermaid and that’s fine because I just googled her and it turns out, she’s not Halle Berry, who I thought was gonna be in The Little Mermaid … all day long, seriously.”

In addition to people getting Bailey and Berry mixed up, the Chloe X Halle singer received some backlash for her casting, as the 1989 animated character was white with red hair, while the Georgia native is Black.

Jodi Benson, who voiced Ariel in the original Disney film, however, showed support for Bailey.

"I think that the spirit of a character is what really matters. What you bring to the table in a character as far as their heart, and their spirit, is what really counts," Benson explained at Florida Supercon in July 2019 per Just Jared. "And no matter what we look like on the outside, no matter our race, our nation, the color of our skin, our dialect, whether I'm tall or thin, whether I'm overweight or underweight, or my hair is whatever color, we really need to tell the story."

Bailey, for her part, expressed her excitement over landing the iconic role in July 2019, tweeting, "Dream come true… 🧜🏽‍♀️🌊."

Haters aside, Berry has always been in Bailey's corner — and not just because they have the same first name. Shortly after news broke of the actress' casting in The Little Mermaid, the Monster's Ball actress sang Bailey's praises on Twitter.

"In case you needed a reminder … Halles get it DONE," the John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum star wrote in July 2019. "Congratulations on this amazing opportunity, we can't wait to see what you do!"

The Last Holiday actress replied, "This means the world. happy to share names with you. Love you lots."

The Little Mermaid is set to hit theaters on May 26, 2023.

Shahs' GG Tells Lala Kent to ‘Stop Complaining’ After Randall Emmett Split

Lala Kent has candidly discussed her decision to end her engagement to Randall Emmett — a choice that fellow Bravo star GG Gharachedaghi has now called into question.

Gharachedaghi, 40, responded to Kent, 31, following her interview with Page Six, writing on the outlet’s social media on Tuesday, December 28, "If someone (Randall) is being their authentic-self and it’s all being referred to as ‘red flags’, why does the person (Lala) wait until they’ve experienced so many of these ‘red flags’ before they walk away?”

The Shahs of Sunset star advised Kent to “walk away and stop complaining” unless she is ready to “take accountability for choosing to stay” with Emmett, 50. Gharachedaghi also noted that she didn’t find it “cute” that the Vanderpump Rules star was calling out the father of Kent’s 9-month-old daughter, Ocean, so publicly.

The entrepreneur’s comments came in response to Kent claiming that she had “proof” of Emmett’s infidelity after he was photographed with two women in Nashville in October. Looking back at it now, the Give Them Lala author revealed how she felt like she was in a relationship “based on nothing but lies."

"There are so many times where people are sending me messages about what I'm choosing to share. And for me, I want my daughter to understand what a healthy, respectable man looks like," Kent explained during an interview with Page Six on Tuesday. "That is my job as her mother, to create that for her, so when she goes out and it's time for her to find a partner, or it's time for her to raise a son, that she knows what values a man should possess."

After going public with their relationship in 2018, Kent and Emmett announced their engagement that same year. The duo welcomed their daughter, Ocean, in March and seven months later, the Utah native sparked breakup speculation.

Us Weekly confirmed in November that the actress and the film producer called it quits after Kent erased all traces of their relationship from her social media one month prior.

“Randall did not want to split but it was Lala’s decision. The trust is gone,” an insider exclusively shared with Us at the time. “He’s been trying to win her back. … For now, she’s not wearing her ring and she’s truly focused on her daughter and her projects. She’s trying to keep everything private.”

Since the split, Kent has addressed hearing others come out with stories about how they knew that Emmett was unfaithful.

“I wish that somebody would have come to me and said, I’m getting DMs about your person. No one voiced any concern for me and my relationship,” the beauty mogul emotionally said during an episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast earlier this month. “James [Kennedy] and [Tom] Sandoval both expressed that they knew things. As time passes, I have a lot of people that are telling me things. Everyone wants to say, ‘It’s not your business.’ How would you feel? I would give everything to turn back the clock and have someone tell me something.”

The Row actress referred to the cheating allegations as a “mindf–k,” noting, “I think I ignored a lot of things that I probably shouldn’t have, but I think I ignored them because. He’s good at what he does.”

Kent detailed feeling as if Emmett wasn’t as committed when it came to their relationship.

“I was not sending inappropriate text messages. I was like in it. I went straight to him. If I was ever feeling unhappy, I was willing to do couple’s therapy. I started going to therapy on my own,” she added. “Like I was doing anything I possibly could to make sure that he and I would stand the test of time. To feel like I was doing all of that really for nothing. I mean, I look back on these years with him and I can’t remember any of it.”

Emmett, for his part, has yet to publicly comment on the split.

The Kentucky native, 40, appeared to take a playful jab at her breakup while posing in a bikini during a getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. “Well these eggs aren’t going to fertilize themselves 🤣🤣,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, December 28. “Or maybe they will … who knows. Until then, 2022 bring it on 😜😜.”

Her Selling Sunset costars were quick to react to the not-so-cryptic caption, with Amanza Smith leaving a string of laughing emojis in the comments.

Newcomer Emma Hernan, who is on the trip with Stause, wrote, “DAMN GIRL YOU SO HOT I JUST GOT A SUNBURN LOOKING AT MY PHONE 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵… ** will be expecting aloe Vera as my bday present now. Thanks,” while Brett Oppenheim‘s ex Tina Louise added, “Ha ha ha ha ha i love you.”

Stause and Jason, 44, went public with their romance over the summer while on vacation with fellow Oppenheim Group colleagues in Europe. Earlier this month, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair called it quits. The real estate broker later revealed that he and the former soap opera actress disagreed about wanting to start a family.

“While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends we will always love and support one another. She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life,” he wrote in an Instagram statement on December 21, noting that he and the Dancing With the Stars alum “have different wants” for their futures.

Stause shared a similar statement of her own, telling her social media followers that she’s “choosing to see [the relationship] as a success” despite her breakup.

“Jason was and is my best friend, and other than our ideas for family ultimately not being aligned, the amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward,” she explained in a lengthy Instagram post last week. “Men have the luxury of time that women don’t and that’s just the way it goes. All of that being said, navigating this public terrain is difficult and I am just trying my best. … I very much hope to one day have a family and decisions I make at this point are with that goal in mind.”

The Netflix star, who finalized her divorce from Justin Hartley earlier this year, concluded: “And thank you Jason for the most incredible relationship and for consistently being honest with me even when it hurts.”

News of the split “was definitely a surprise” to the duo’s friends and costars, a source exclusively told Us. “Those who have hung around them actually thought they were headed for marriage, not a split. They seemed like a couple that was going to get married — they had great chemistry, they cared and loved each other,” the insider added.

However, Stause’s desire to raise children comes as less of a shock. The Under Construction author has been vocal over the years about wanting to be a mom and recently opened up about making the choice to freeze her eggs.

“[Now] I don’t have to have that stress,” she exclusively told Us in July. “Right now, [motherhood] just not on my mind. I love that it’s there whenever I’m ready.”

Best Celebrity Memoirs of 2021: Hannah Brown, Gabrielle Union and More

Posted: 28 Dec 2021 12:46 PM PST

Bombshells for days. Hannah Brown, Will Smith, Katie Couric and more celebrities wrote memoirs in 2021 — and they weren’t afraid to share some of their deepest truths.

The former Bachelorette opened up about her time on the dating show in November’s God Bless This Mess: Learning to Live and Love Through Life's Best (and Worst) Moments, but she also wrote about family tragedy and her childhood.

"My life has been shared very openly [and] vulnerably through a lens of a television show. It's always been for entertainment," the former Miss Alabama exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the book's release. "And while a lot of that was my real life, there's a lot of parts that fall through the cracks [and] that are filtered out. Instead of it being told through a funnel of other people, I really wanted to take the time and be able to share my story my way and the most authentic way."

In the book, the Bachelor Nation alum revealed that her aunt LeeLee and two young cousins were brutally murdered when Brown was just 6 years old. The Alabama native decided to share the tragedy after speaking to a therapist who suggested that writing about the incident would help her process it.

“It was kind of, like, an assignment she gave me,” Brown explained to Us. “That was really hard because there was obviously a lot of emotions there. But on the other side of that, it was really healing.”

Earlier in the year, Couric detailed the aftermath of her former colleague Matt Lauer‘s firing from the Today show in November 2017. "I know Matt thinks I betrayed him, and that makes me sad," she wrote in her October memoir, Going There. "But he betrayed me too by how he behaved behind closed doors at the show we both cared about so much."

While promoting the book, the Virginia native said that she and the disgraced anchor have “no relationship” anymore.

"The side of Matt I knew was the side of Matt I think you all knew. He was kind, generous, considerate, a good colleague," she recalled during an appearance on the Today show. “I think what I realized is that there was a side of Matt I never really knew. I tried to understand why he behaved the way he did, and why he was so reckless, and callous, and honestly abusive to other women."

Keep scrolling for a look back at the best celebrity memoirs of 2021:

Hannah Brown, ‘God Bless This Mess’
Among the many Bachelor-related revelations in Brown's book was her claim that she and Peter Weber secretly slept together in February 2020 while his season of The Bachelor was airing. The pilot later confirmed the hookup, saying that it happened after an engagement party for Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin. “We spent the night with each other, and that was it,” he said during a November episode of his "Bachelors in the City" podcast. “That was the last time that I saw her physically,” he noted. Broadimage/Shutterstock
Tyler Cameron, ‘You Deserve Better’
In July, the Bachelorette alum released his memoir, You Deserve Better: What Life Has Taught Me About Love, Relationships, and Becoming Your Best Self. The model revealed that he lost his virginity to his first girlfriend during his freshman year of high school. "Once I found out what sex was — once I discovered for myself that it was fun — I wanted to do it all the time. Hooking up was a huge thing at my high school,” he wrote. “Without parents teaching us something different, we didn’t know better; we saw these things modeled on TV or in movies, and we thought that was just what you did. For a long time, I thought that was what being a boy was all about." y Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock
Emily Ratajkowski, ‘My Body’
In her November book of essays, the supermodel claimed that Robin Thicke groped her during the shoot for his 2013 "Blurred Lines" music video. (The Masked Singer judge has not publicly commented on the allegations.) "I didn’t react — not really, not like I should have," she wrote of the alleged incident. "Neither did any of the other women. Despite how many of us were there and how safe I’d felt in their presence, we were in no position to hold Robin Thicke accountable on the set of his music video. We were working for him, after all. We paused awkwardly, and then we continued shooting." In other chapters of the book, Ratajkowski explained how the "Blurred Lines" video changed her career despite what happened on set and detailed how her role in the film Gone Girl became a mixed blessing. J. Lingo/Shutterstock
Sharon Stone, ‘The Beauty of Living Twice’
The Oscar nominee shared plenty of tidbits from her Hollywood career in her March memoir, claiming that she paid Leonardo DiCaprio's salary for 1995's The Quick and the Dead because the studio didn't want to hire him. Writing about her infamous leg-crossing scene in 1992's Basic Instinct, the actress said that she slapped director Paul Verhoeven "across the face" after she saw it for the first time. "I thought and thought and I chose to allow this scene in the film," she added. "Why? Because it was correct for the film and for the character; and because, after all, I did it." Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock
Will Smith, ‘Will’
Cowritten with Mark Manson, the Ali actor's November memoir detailed, among other things, his marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith. The "Summertime" singer revealed that his wife initially wasn't thrilled about the idea of marriage before their December 1997 nuptials. "Jada had no illusion that love and family would be an easy endeavor; that was another reason she hated traditional wedding ceremonies," he wrote. "She thought that the fluffiness and the pageantry of a classing wedding ceremony was flawed symbolism and give a false sense of the true gravity of the undertaking." Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Katie Couric, ‘Going There’
In addition to sharing details from her professional life, Couric wrote candidly about her first marriage to Jay Monahan in Going There. After she became a permanent coanchor on Today in 1991, she said that the gig "took up residence in [her] marriage like an overbearing houseguest.” After the couple welcomed daughters Ellie and Carrie in July 1991 and January 1996, respectively, the attorney died of colorectal cancer in January 1998 at age 42. Cicely Tyson, ‘Just as I Am’
Released just two days before Tyson's death in January at age 96, Just as I Am included stories from the icon's early days in Hollywood and anecdotes from her brief, tumultuous marriage to Miles Davis. In one chapter, the Emmy winner revealed that she once hung up on former President Barack Obama, believing his phone call to be from someone attempting to prank her. (He was calling to tell her that she would be receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom.) Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Dorinda Medley, ‘Make It Nice’
In her August book, the Real Housewives of New York City alum wrote about her childhood in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, her marriages and her early days in NYC. She didn't, however, delve too much into the drama of her time on RHONY. "I didn't want the book to be about that," she told Entertainment Weekly ahead of the memoir's release. "I think, in that process, you have to be willing to let it play its way out, and I didn't want the book to become my side of my story. I wanted it to be my overall experience on the show." Andy Kropa/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Margaret Josephs, ‘Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget’
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star released her first book, Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget: How to Survive in Business and Life, in April. In the memoir, the Bravo personality revealed that she had an affair with Foreigner lead singer Kelly Hansen before her 2013 divorce from Jan Josephs. “He’ll find out about it for the first time,” she told Us of her ex, whom she wed in 1994. “It happened so long ago. … He’s not going to care.” Jeremy Smith/imageSpace/Shutterstock
Lala Kent, ‘Give Them Lala’
Months before her split from ex-fiancé Randall Emmett, the Vanderpump Rules star dished on the former couple's relationship in her May memoir. "I was shook by how attracted I was to him because he was so different from the guys I had dated in the past,” she wrote. “There was something about him that felt intriguing." In another chapter, the podcast host revealed that she had an abortion when she was 22 years old. "I couldn’t even bring myself to say the word. I’d always felt weird saying it,” she recalled. "I’d had no sedation or anesthesia, and was fully aware of what was happening. Tears streamed down my face from the pain.” Mandatory Credit: Photo by MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Gabrielle Union, ‘You Got Anything Stronger?’
The Bring It On star's September memoir explored the moment she found out her husband, Dwyane Wade, fathered a child with another woman during a break in their relationship. "It should go without saying that we were not in a good place at the time that child was conceived,” she recalled. “But we were doing much better when he finally told me about the pregnancy. To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience. … I have not had words, and even after untold amounts of therapy I am not sure I have them now.” Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo, ‘The Hope We Hold’
In their May book, The Hope We Hold: Finding Peace in the Promises of God, the Vuolos revealed that Jinger's dad, Jim Bob Duggar, worried that Jeremy's past career as a soccer player would affect his faith. “I did not see that coming,” the Pennsylvania native wrote. “If anything was a stumbling block, I’d thought it would be my past. I drank and partied in college. I’d been arrested. I could understand parents looking at those issues as red flags. It had never occurred to me that my theology would be the issue.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock

Hollywood Hits Pause on Filming, Concert Tours and More Over Coronavirus

Posted: 28 Dec 2021 12:36 PM PST

The coronavirus outbreak, which hit the U.S. in early 2020, has had major implications on the well-being of all humans — and it's continuing to have a major impact on Hollywood.

Movies, including Mission: Impossible 7 and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Red Notice, paused production and sent casts and crews home amid the initial breakout. Films such as James Bond's No Time to Die, Sonic the Hedgehog and Mulan have either postponed or canceled their China runs altogether in last year. According to a February 2020 report from Business Insider, the outbreak could result in more than $1 billion of lost revenue for the film industry.

"There are so many moving parts and implications, not just for movie theaters but for public spaces in general," Comscore senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian told Business Insider at the time. "The uncertainty is the one thing that is certain. At the end of the year, box-office numbers, particularly regarding China, are going to have an asterisk."

The rapid spread of the virus also resulted in the cancellation of music events and shut down production on several TV shows. Green Day and BTS were among the musical acts who were forced to pushback tour dates in Asia in 2020. Talk shows initially filmed episodes without TV audiences, but later opted to shut down for weeks before gradually making a return to hosting live audiences. The Amazing Race pumped the brakes on its shoot, while filming of Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette was delayed until the summer of 2020.

As global safety regulations have slightly lessened, the industry began the process of returning to semi-normalcy with caution. The Batman returned to set in London in September 2020 after closing up shop six months prior, but production briefly shut down for the second time after star Robert Pattinson reportedly contracted coronavirus.

Casts from Grey's Anatomy, The Conners, Mom, Riverdale and Supernatural have also made their way back to set. Meanwhile, talk shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Kelly Clarkson Show have utilized virtual audiences to make their return a bit smoother before bringing back fans.

Some movies made it into theaters across the world in late 2020 and early 2021, but restrictions are still in place within the entertainment industry as the COVID-19 crisis continues.

"When shooting during a pandemic, you have to connect with your costars in different ways," Reese Witherspoon joked via Instagram in September 2021, sharing photos of herself wearing a face shield and posing with photos of her Morning Show costar Jennifer Aniston.

While some concerts have resumed their touring schedule, others, including Post Malone's Posty Fest, postponed dates once more in 2021, pushing events to 2022 in hopes that the coronavirus numbers will again go down.

The sports organizations are also exploring closed games without fans, but LeBron James made it clear that he isn’t playing without an audience. “We play games without the fans? Nah, that’s impossible,” James told The Associated Press. “I ain’t playing if I ain’t got the fans in the crowd. That’s who I play for. I play for my teammates, and I play for the fans. That’s what it’s all about. So if I show up to an arena and there ain’t no fans in there, I ain’t playing. They can do what they want to do.” Shutterstock

Celebrity Engagements of 2021: Stars Who Got Engaged This Year

Posted: 28 Dec 2021 12:22 PM PST

They said yes! Caroline Stanbury, Nilsa Prowant and more celebs took major steps in their relationships in 2021.

The Ladies of London alum confirmed via social media days after the new year that boyfriend Sergio Carrallo popped the question during a trip to Nepal. The engagement came less than six months after the pair made their relationship Instagram official. Stanbury was previously married to Cem Habib, from whom she split in December 2019. The exes share daughter Yasmine and twin sons Aaron and Zac.

Weeks after confirming her engagement, Stanbury defended her relationship after receiving negative comments about the more than 10-year age gap between her and her fiancé. “Why is this so shocking?” she told Bravo Insider, noting that the reaction isn’t as severe when men date younger partners.

Prowant, for her part, checked two big milestones off of her list within a few weeks. At the beginning of the holiday season, the MTV reality star revealed that she was expecting her first child, a baby boy, with then-boyfriend Gus Gazda. Soon after breaking the happy news, Gazda proposed.

“On cloud nine 💍,” Prowant gushed via Instagram on January 2, showing off the romantic moment that Gazda got down on one knee. “The love of my life asked me to spend forever with him tonight on my 27th birthday. Today has been more than I could have ever imagined. I can’t believe I get to marry my best friend and bring our son Gray into this world soon.”

The Florida native thanked her “kind, caring, strong” fiancé for always standing by her side — even through tough moments. “Gus, you’ve picked up the broken pieces of my heart and put them back together one by one. You never cease to amaze me. I can always count on you!” she wrote. “I know with you by my side I can get through anything. I would say yes over and over and over again. Every single time. Now…Let’s plan a wedding 🤍.”

The same day, the Les Misérables actor went viral after a video of him singing the praises of Foster's understudy, Kathy Voytko, and swings made its way around the internet.

In the clip, Jackman detailed how important a swing is on Broadway, noting they cover up to 10 roles and never know when they will be needed to jump in and save the day.

"Kathy, when she turned up for work at 12 o'clock, could've played any of eight roles," the Oscar-nominated star explained to the Music Man audience at New York City's Winter Garden Theater during the curtain call on Thursday. "She found out at 12 noon today, and at 1 o'clock, she had her very first rehearsal as Marian Paroo."

Jackman then asked the understudies and swings in the company to step forward for a round of applause, thanking them for their continued hard work in unprecedented times amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"They watch from the corner of a room while we rehearse, while we get to practice over and over again. They just get to watch and write notes, and then, five hours before the performance, they're told, 'You're on! By the way, you've got a wig fitting, go!’" he continued. "So to all of these people here, the swings — and I'm emotional because it humbles me — their courage, their brilliance, their dedication, their talent. The swings, the understudies, they are the bedrock of Broadway."

The Wolverine star joked: "Take it from me: real superheroes do not wear capes!"

Well-wishes flooded the comments section of the couple’s respective posts, with Ty Pennington gushing, “Whoop!!! Congrats you guys!! 🙌🙌@sabrina_soto.”

Danielle Fishel wrote, “Yay!!! Congratulations!! ❤❤❤,” while NBC’s Lisa Breckenridge commented, “YAY!!!!! This is just the best news I adore and love you both.”

Sheremet was previously married to Rimes, 39, for seven years before her infamous affair with Eddie Cibrian ended their relationship. Sheremet and the country singer finalized their divorce in June 2010, six months before Cibrian, 48, proposed to Rimes. (The actor was married to Brandi Glanville from 2001 to 2010 and wed the Masked Singer alum in 2011.)

Several years after the scandal thrust him into the limelight, the former dancer addressed the breakup on the “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast. “Standing here, seven years later, I’m like, ‘I probably annoyed her and did some weird things’ … [but] I have no ill will toward her,” he told the Bravo personality, 49, in February 2016.

The “How Do I Live” performer, for her part, admitted in a 2012 interview that she “became numb” amid the fallout of her divorce. “I had no idea what life was throwing me and I had no idea how to handle it. But all I knew was I could not — we couldn’t stop connecting in some way,” she told E! of Cibrian. “And it was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life. … I wish I handled it differently because I wish it could’ve been better for me, for Brandi, for Dean, for Eddie and for everyone else. I know in this situation it’s gonna take some time, all I wish is that everyone that was hurt, that we hurt, that I hurt, can be happy.”

After splitting from Rimes, Sheremet exchanged vows with Sarah Silver in 2011. Us Weekly confirmed five years later that the pair called it quits.

“I have nothing but love and respect for Sarah,” the Michigan native told Us in a statement at the time. “Her love made me a better man. I will always be thankful she touched my life.”

It’s unclear when Black and Sheremet split. Soto, for her part, shares daughter Olivia Gray, 6, with ex-boyfriend Steve Grevemberg.

"We got a new addition to our family this weekend and are beyond blessed!!! Haley thank you for making him so happy!!" the proud mother wrote on December 20 via Instagram. "We love you❤❤."

As Bachelor Nation may know, Hannah got engaged to Jed Wyatt on season 15 of The Bachelorette. While the season was airing, however, Stevens came forward and claimed they were dating when he left to film the show. While Wyatt downplayed their relationship, Hannah called off their relationship before the July 2019 finale. She recalled the breakup in her memoir, God Bless This Mess, released last month.

"He knew this girl. They were friends. They had been to the Bahamas together, but just as friends. He had told her he loved her, but he was drunk at the time," she wrote. "Hiding something in order to 'not hurt my feelings' is still untruthful. It's trying to have your cake and eat it too, and while it might benefit you in the short term, this is exactly the kind of behavior that ruins relationships. Forever."

While promoting the book, Us Weekly asked the pageant queen about Patrick's romance with Haley as the twosome were first spotted together in February.

"I love my brother and I'm just so thankful for all the changes that he's made in his life — because that just really impacted the way that our family dynamic is. Both of us have kind of gone on our own journey of healing," she told Us, referring to his battle with substance abuse. "About his love life — I don't choose who my brother loves and who he wants to be with, but I love him and want him to be happy."

Wyatt, for his part, poked fun of the scandal after news of Patrick and Stevens' engagement broke, asking his Instagram following, "I guess the only thing I have to state is more of a question — does he know he's engaged?"

“This kids doing it so much cuter but whatever,” Rinna, 58, captioned the video of her dancing to Rod Stewart's "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" via Instagram on Monday, December 27.

That same day, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a clip of her and daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin posing during a photo shoot for her Rinna Beauty line, noting that her youngest daughter, Delilah Belle Hamlin, inspired products are “coming soon.”

The reality star originally made headlines over Christmas weekend when she shared the two Hamlin sisters and Delilah’s boyfriend, Eyal Booker, showing off their moves in the Sunday, December 26 post. At the time, Amelia, 20, voiced her displeasure with her mother’s decision, commenting, "No way you posted this."

After the Melrose Place alum replied, "Of course I did. Duh," her younger daughter requested that the video be removed, adding, "Plz no. Like we said we'd do it for you not for the internet thank y."

The tense social media interaction came after Amelia’s older sister, 23, shaded her parents earlier this month. In a since-deleted TikTok, Delilah wrote that her holiday wish list included having Rinna and Harry Hamlin “pay for my trauma therapy.”

Delilah previously opened up about health struggles that have taken a toll on her. During a lengthy Instagram video in November, the model recalled first developing symptoms after getting the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“I started getting really sick, I started feeling like I had the flu. I was getting migraines, I was having panic attacks — it was like my body was in constant ‘fight or flight’ mode. It was horrible,” she detailed, noting that she wasn’t against the vaccine. “I just knew in my gut that there was something else wrong.”

After an attempt to address her condition turned into her being over-prescribed Xanax, Delilah added that she was still not in the best place, saying, “I’m feeling hopeless since the last place I went to didn’t really work out. I can look perfectly fine and feel perfectly horrible. That’s just that. That’s something I struggle with mentally, is feeling believed.”

Shortly after Delilah’s video about her family’s reaction to her health went viral, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the post came from “a moment of frustration.”

The insider noted that Delilah "wouldn’t have posted it and aired her issues with her parents if they weren’t real." Although Rinna would never "refuse giving her [child] money if she needed it,” the source shared that Delilah has gotten “upset about certain things” when it comes to her relationship with her parents.
