Braunwyn Windham-Burke Kisses Victoria Brito in Miami: 'They're Smitten' Posted: 02 Dec 2021 04:32 PM PST ![]() New flame! Braunwyn Windham-Burke was spotted packing on the PDA with someone new — less than two months after making her red carpet debut with her ex Jamie Parton. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 44, was photographed kissing Victoria Brito on the beach in Miami on Wednesday, December 1. One snap published by Page Six showed the duo taking a romantic stroll through the surf in their swimsuits. In another, they locked eyes in a steamy embrace. "Braunwyn and Victoria's relationship is still very new,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the pair. “They're not putting a label on it. They're smitten by each other.” The former reality star, who is still married to her husband, Sean Burke, came out as a lesbian in December 2020. "I'm still getting used to it … I knew I was attracted to women," the Bravo personality said during an interview with GLAAD at the time. "I got married very young and I never thought about it. So, to be [in my 40s] … I'm just now starting to feel like I'm becoming the woman I was supposed to be.” Windham-Burke and the businessman share seven children: Bella, 21, Rowan, 19, Jacob, 16, twins Caden and Curren, 8, Koa, 6, and Hazel, 3. Earlier this fall, Windham-Burke introduced Parton, 30, to the world when they attended an event together in New York City to celebrate the launch of Dave Quinn‘s book, Not All Diamonds and Rosé. "We actually met at an event D'Andra [Simmons] hosted two years ago," she exclusively told Us in October, adding that she had been dating the hair colorist for a "few weeks.” The duo reconnected after Parton reached out via Instagram to ask for advice on staying sober. (Windham-Burke stopped drinking last year.) Though that relationship seems to have fizzled out, the first insider says that the mom of seven is “having fun dating after coming out” one year ago. “She's remained friends with everyone she's dated, including her most recent ex,” the source adds. In July, Windham-Burke revealed via Instagram that she and her husband were separating and “living apart” after 26 years together. She previously told Us that the pair had no plans to divorce. “I'm not going to worry about the future until it happens,” she explained in October 2020. “I love Sean. Sean loves me. We have every intention of staying together. We are very honest in our communication. There are just some things that I have discovered about myself that I wanna explore a little more and he's very supportive.” With reporting by Diana Cooper |
Kendall Jenner Kicks Off December With a Fully-Decorated Christmas Tree Posted: 02 Dec 2021 04:14 PM PST Making spirits bright! Candace Cameron Bure, Joanna Gaines, Bindi Irwin and more celebrities aren't waiting until December to get into the holiday mood — they started decorating as soon as Halloween ended. "It's the most wonderful time of the year!!! It's happening, people!!!" the Full House alum, 45, wrote via Instagram on November 10, sharing a video of herself putting up her fake tree at home. "The tree is up Gaines, for her part, decorated a special tree with 3-year-old son Crew in early November to mark the start of the season. She also shared a few highlights of Christmas past via her Magnolia blog to get fans just as excited for holiday festivities. "Our family's tradition of gifting ornaments each year began with [my husband] Chip [Gaines]'s mom, Gayle. The first year that Chip and I were married, I wanted to decorate our Christmas tree based on a specific color story — and decided it would be an all-blue theme," Joanna, 43, wrote in a recent blog. "That same year on Thanksgiving, Gayle gifted us a bright red Radko ornament. Truthfully, I hesitated putting it on the tree because I knew it would throw off my color theme. It makes me laugh now, but at the time I thought, 'Where am I going to put this?'" The Magnolia Network cofounder noted that she ultimately decided to put her mother-in-law's gift on the tree, which led to their family's tradition of giving each other ornaments as pre-Christmas gifts. "What I learned to love was this: Though that ornament stuck out in stark contrast to my blue tree, that bright red ornament told a story," she added. "Not only was it a heartfelt gift from Chip's mom, but the ornament signified our first Christmas together, and that made it worthy of the spotlight." This year, Joanna opted to add a few specialty ornaments to her Magnolia collection that help tell the stories of her own family — including a Sriracha sauce bottle for 15-year-old daughter Ella, who "puts it on everything," according to her mom. Along with Ella and Crew, Joanna shares children Drake, 16, Duke, 13 and Emmie, 11, with Chip, 46. ‘Selling Sunset’ Stars Then vs Now: What They Looked Like Before the Show Posted: 02 Dec 2021 03:47 PM PST Transformation time! The stars of Selling Sunset know a lot about glamour, and while they regularly step up to the plate to deliver fashion and beauty looks worthy of the red carpet, many of the women underwent makeovers prior to the hit series. Christine Quinn, for instance, has been forthcoming about the way she appears on the Netflix reality show — which premiered in March 2019 — versus how she looks when the cameras are not rolling. "I tell people all the time: I got my boobs done, I get my lips done, tons of Botox, tons of makeup. How I look on [Selling Sunset] is not how I look when I wake up in the morning," the realtor told Vogue in September 2020. "When it comes to the show, I don't do my own hair. I do my own makeup because I love doing it. The full start to finish, including wardrobe, is around two and a half to three hours. My glam isn't cheap either — $1,000 a day, if I go all out. It's expensive to look this cheap." Despite changing her appearance for the show, Quinn noted that she is "all about plastic surgery truth-bearing" because of the expectations that come with it. "It's important in a world where there's this façade of social media causing people to have body dysmorphia," she said. "People think that [things are] real, and they're not." The TV personality revealed that she "was buying and returning [clothes] a lot" during season 1 because she was not "doing as well" financially as she has since the series took off. Amid her success, her look "got bolder." "I went into the show wanting to be taken seriously," she elaborated. "Even though I'm confident, I dressed in a way that I thought people would expect a realtor to look. I was a little more conservative, I covered up more. One thing I learned in season 2 is that [fashion] doesn't define you. I can be a professional and sell homes, and it doesn't matter what I wear. I became a little more myself and more vulnerable. I was portrayed in season 1 as a 'one-note bitch' so I'm doing my best to show people that I am relatable." Heather Rae Young, for her part, was a model prior to taking up real estate, but she has remained more tight-lipped about any modifications to her appearance. "For interviews today for glam, I decided to go with a natural lip," she wrote via Instagram in August 2019. "Tomorrow, maybe I'll add a pop of color … ?" One commenter called the reality star's selfie caption into question amid speculation that she got lip injections, replying, "Natural lip lol." Young responded, "Hahah [sic] natural color." Scroll through the gallery below to see how the cast of Selling Sunset has changed through the years. ![]() The Kentucky native got her start as an actress on All My Children, where she made her debut in 2005. Tori Spelling Shuts Down Question About Dean McDermott's Christmas Gift Posted: 02 Dec 2021 02:57 PM PST Planning for the holidays. Tori Spelling hinted at exchanging gifts with Dean McDermott during the holidays amid ongoing speculation about their marriage status. When the Messyness host, 48, appeared on the Thursday, December 2, episode of SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live, host Jeff Lewis pressed, "Alright, so, holiday shopping: What are we getting Dean? Anything?" Spelling quickly replied, "Yes, of course, the kids are getting him something," referring to her five kids — Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 9, Finn, 8, and Beau, 4 — whom she shares with the Canada native, 55. After Lewis, 51, asked the Masked Singer alum if she'd contribute to the gift fund or tell her children to "use [their] own money," she confirmed her participation. "No, I'm contributing," Spelling added before flipping the script on the radio host, dodging a follow-up question about the present. "What are you getting [your ex] Gage [Edward]? You have to — [your daughter] Monroe has to get him something because that's how it works, like, the kids have to get their parents [a gift]. Hi, welcome to life." The sTori Telling author then offered some handy advice to Lewis, telling him that he'll need to pick out a present, purchase and wrap it and write a "little card" to go with it, explaining, "That's how it goes." While rumors swirl about the True Tori alum's relationship with her husband, whom she wed in 2006, the duo celebrated Thanksgiving together "as a family," a source exclusively told Us Weekly after the holiday. "Everyone chipped in for the cooking and preparation," the insider revealed. "They really are trying to celebrate the holidays as a family and put aside their differences." Despite having"a lot of heated arguments" amid "good and bad days," the source asserted that the pair remain committed to their large brood. "Most importantly, [they] want their kids to be happy," the insider said, noting that a potential divorce could "still happen," but Spelling and McDermott have an "understanding" about celebrating the holiday season as "one unit." The California native previously documented her Thanksgiving prep on November 25 alongside daughters Stella and Hattie, gushing over their help in the kitchen. "Happy Thanksgiving Days before Spelling joyfully documented the family's festivities, she made headlines for sharing snaps of her family's holiday card and Christmas stockings display without mentioning the Chopped Canada host. "It's that time again. And it's a winter wonderland at my house," she captioned a sponsored Instagram post of her family's holiday card on November 22, showcasing her kids and family pets without a nod to her spouse. The card's inscription also seemingly left off the Open Range actor's name, reading, "With Love, from our farm to your home! Xoxo, Tori & Family." Hours later, however, Spelling clarified social media users' assumptions over the Slasher star's whereabouts. "Fact: @imdeanmcdermott was filming his new feature film in Canada," she replied via Instagram comment. The BH90210 alum and McDermott have been the subject of divorce rumors since earlier this year when they were each spotted without their wedding rings. Spelling, for her part, even noted during a June appearance on Jeff Lewis Live that they were not sleeping in the same room. In October, a source told Us that Spelling "wants a divorce, but she feels trapped right now" after getting into an argument with the Pretty Hard Cases actor. At the time, the insider noted that the former child star is "miserable" in her marriage but has stayed for her kids, who have "no idea" about their parents' marital issues. |
Tori Spelling Has 'Set a Date' to Replace Breast Implants After 20 Years Posted: 02 Dec 2021 01:51 PM PST One step closer! After previously discussing her plans to replace her breast implants, Tori Spelling revealed that she has made major progress. “OK so I set a date yesterday. February 27th.” Spelling, 48, said during an interview on SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live on Thursday, December 2. “They don’t know what’s in there until they get in there, basically. So [the surgeon] is going to take them out, clean them up and put new implants in.” The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum detailed how she decided what size the new implants will be. “I couldn’t decide — he was showing me two different kinds and he was like, ‘Do you want a higher profile or moderate profile?’ I didn’t know [what] either [was],” she noted. “But he said you need some side boob because right now you’re just all projecting out front.” The sTORI Telling author explained that with the surgery comes the ability to change up her wardrobe, saying, “I want to be able to dress sexy but I want to be able to dress conservative and not be all boobs.” She continued: “The sizing I’m getting is a little bit bigger but it won’t look it. So they’ll actually look smaller but filled out more. I need a lift, that’s what he said. They pick them up and measure where it should be and he’s, like, ‘They’re falling here, they should be here.'” Spelling, who shares Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 10, Finn, 9, and Beau, 4, with husband Dean McDermott, added that because of the weight proportions, she will have to get a lift as well. “My scar for my implants [before] were under my nipple, like my nipple, the bottom part. This scar will be on the top part of the nipple and that’s how he pulls it up. No anchor scar,” she said on Thursday. The California native has previously revealed that her implants had "expired" during an episode of the "Whine Down with Jana Kramer” in October. "See, no one told me when I got mine done that, in 10 years, you would have to get them redone," she said at the time. One month later, Spelling offered her followers a glimpse at the surgery process when she met with a doctor for a consultation. "After needing to for many years I'm finally addressing my expired and recalled implants," she captioned a photo of plastic boobs in a jar at the medical office via her Instagram Story last month. "Thanks for squeezing me in @drjplasticsurgery. Great consult! I adore you already …" |
Little Mix Will Go on Hiatus After 2022 Tour: We're 'Not Splitting Up' Posted: 02 Dec 2021 01:50 PM PST Nothing comes between them! Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are going on hiatus next year — but they insisted it's not a breakup. "We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix," the trio announced via Twitter on Thursday, December 2. "It's been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects." The women, who rose to fame after winning the X-Factor UK in 2011, gushed over their fans' continued support while confirming that they planned to reunite down the line. "We can't thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much," they wrote. "We are not splitting up — Little Mix are here to stay." ![]() The British girl group, which originally included fourth member Jesy Nelson, revealed that they already have "plans for more music, tours and performances in the future." Edwards, 28, and Pinnock, 30, became first-time moms in August. Along with Thirwall, 28, they reassured their fans that the band’s comeback is inevitable following their solo ventures. "We've made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can't wait to make so many more," the group concluded. "We're sisters and we'll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever. See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie x." Little Mix dropped their new music video for "Between Us" on Thursday as a parting treat for their listeners. The song, which is the title track off their Between Us greatest hits album, describes the women's close-knit bond through the heartfelt lyrics, "Love will never leave us / Nothing comes between us / I swear we won't lose this thing we found." The BRIT Award-winning group released their first record, DNA, in 2012. They recorded five more studio albums, including 2020's Confetti, before putting out their compilation album last month. Us Weekly confirmed in November 2020 that Nelson, 30, intended to step back from Little Mix due to her health. The news came after she missed several band appearances earlier that month. Ahead of the new year, Nelson announced that she was leaving the group for good to focus on her mental health. "I need to spend time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy," the Romford, England, native wrote via Instagram in December 2020, noting that she was "ready to embark on a new chapter in my life” after nine years with Little Mix. Her former bandmates supported her at the time but told fans that they would continue making music as a trio moving forward. The girl group released their first photo without Nelson in January, four months before releasing the "Confetti" remix featuring Saweetie. Nelson, for her part, dropped her first solo song, "Boyz" featuring Nicki Minaj, in October. When the music video for the single came out, Nelson was accused of "blackfishing," or making her skin look darker, which seemingly caused drama between her and the Little Mix ladies. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Edwards, Pinnock and Thirwall all unfollowed Nelson after her music video controversy made headlines. Nelson, who has since apologized after receiving backlash, later commented on her friendship status with her former bandmates. "We're not talking anymore," Nelson admitted during an October appearance on The Graham Norton Show. "It is sad, but honestly there is no bad blood from my side. I still love them to pieces and genuinely wish them all the best." The remaining three members addressed the feud that same month, telling The Telegraph that they don't want to "dwell" on the past and revealed that they did approach Nelson about the scandal in a "very friendly, educational manner." |
Demi Lovato Reveals They’re No Longer ‘California Sober’ Posted: 02 Dec 2021 01:39 PM PST ![]() Getting honest. Demi Lovato has previously been vocal about their sobriety journey following a 2018 overdose, and now they are getting candid about staying sober. "I no longer support my 'California sober' ways," Lovato, 29, captioned an Instagram Story post on Thursday, December 2. "Sober sober is the only way to be." The Unidentified star previously admitted that they had not completely cut out marijuana or alcohol following their overdose and instead found a "balance." ![]() "I called [my recovery case manager, Charles Cook] and was like, 'Something's not right. I'm living one side of my life completely legalizing and this other side following a program that's telling me if I slip up, I'm going to die,'" Lovato revealed during a March interview with Glamour, explaining that an "all-or-nothing" sobriety approach wouldn't work for them. At the time, the "Confident" crooner told Cook they wanted to "try this balance thing in the substance side of my life." "A one-size-fits-all solution does not work for everybody," the "Alone" singer told the outlet. "Any path that is right for someone else does not mean that it is an effective, meaningful, safe path for you. … What I'm encouraging people to do is just make choices for themselves. Autonomy, for me, is what changed my life." The Disney Channel alum's remarks soon made headlines after Lala Kent — who recently celebrated her third year clean — admitted that she did not agree with Lovato's "California sober" perspective. "I don't like to judge, but I actually think that that's super offensive," the Give Them Lala founder, 31, said during an appearance on the "Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast in July. "There are people out there who work their ass off to never take themselves out of reality and to never place themselves in an altered state. So to say that you're, like, ‘California sober' or this type of sober is extremely offensive. I've been in rooms with men and women who have given up everything just to not pick up. You're not sober if you're drinking or you're smoking weed. You are not sober." Us Weekly previously confirmed in July 2018 that the Grammy nominee was hospitalized following an overdose one month after confirming they had relapsed, breaking six years of sobriety. "I had three strokes. I had a heart attack," the former child star revealed in their Dancing With the Devil documentary, which premiered in February. "My doctors said that I had five to 10 more minutes. I've had a lot of lives, like my cat. You know, I'm on my ninth life. I'm ready to get back to doing what I love, which is making music." Following the incident, the Sonny With a Chance alum opened up about their overdose. "I was left with brain damage, and I still deal with the effects of that today," Lovato explained during a Television Critics Association panel in February. "I don't drive a car because I have blind spots in my vision. I also, for a long time, had a really hard time reading. My vision was so blurry. … You know I dealt with a lot of the repercussions and I feel like they kind of are still there to remind me of what could happen if I ever, you know, get into a dark place." |
Kelly Clarkson Gets Choked Up Feeling ‘Alone’ for Christmas Amid Divorce Posted: 02 Dec 2021 12:55 PM PST A reminder that the holidays can be hard. Kelly Clarkson tried to spread cheer during her NBC Christmas special, but she proved just how relatable she is when she explained how her divorce from Brandon Blackstock influenced her new songs. The Voice coach, 39, got emotional before singing "Merry Christmas (To the One I Used to Know)" on Kelly Clarkson Presents: When Christmas Comes Around, which aired on Wednesday, December 1. "The holidays come with a whole range of emotions," Clarkson said. "I'm gonna be real with y'all — when I wrote this next song, I was crying my face off, which happens even at Christmastime, everyone. I had just put my kids to bed and I was just going through it, having a really hard time, and it's been a really tough year for a lot of us. And I wrote this song for me, but also because there aren't many holiday songs for people feeling alone or lost or just plain sad other than Dolly Parton's classic 'Hard Candy Christmas,' which we all love. It's about getting through a tough holiday. I absolutely love that song and it allowed me to write this." ![]() The song centers around a person who wonders if everything they knew about their ex was "a lie." The final track Clarkson performed was "Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)," a holiday breakup anthem. Both songs are from her album When Christmas Comes Around…, which was released in October. "I was honestly a little nervous about sharing this one because it's not your typical Christmas single," she explained while introducing the track. "But it was the first song that I wrote for this album and I wrote it because a lot of things were taken from us over the last couple of years — people, relationships, jobs, etc. There were so many things taken. But instead of looking at everything that's gone wrong, we should be looking at all the things that have gone right. And that's what my therapist tells me anyway so that's who I'm singing to! But no matter what people try to take from you, nobody can cancel Christmas, y'all." Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock, 44, in June 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage. The former couple are parents of daughter River, 7, and son Remington, 5, while he also shares daughter Savannah, 19, and son Seth, 15, with ex-wife Melissa Ashworth. Us Weekly confirmed in September that the pair were declared legally single, though their divorce is not set to be finalized until January 2022. ![]() Clarkson endured a lot of "pain" during her marriage to Blackstock, leading her to finally call it quits. "She could no longer trust Brandon, and she felt that Brandon was just using her for her money and lifestyle," a source told Us in August. "She has tremendous resentment toward him. She just wasn't willing to look the other way anymore." The insider added that the singer "hasn't and won't ever look back," noting that she "has no regrets about filing for divorce." |
Cute Costars! Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons’ Relationship Timeline Posted: 02 Dec 2021 12:08 PM PST Love on set! Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons are one of the many Hollywood couples who met while filming a TV show. Dunst and Plemons played married high school sweethearts Peggy and local butcher Ed on the FX series Fargo. They starred on season 2 of the series. “It was a gift,” the Friday Night Lights alum gushed at at PaleyFest in 2015 when asked about working with Dunst. “I loved Kirsten’s work for a long time, and I was really excited once I’d met her, and she’s a great person, and we’re both actors that just … have fun with the material.” Dunst and Plemons were first spotted together off set in 2016. A year later, the Breaking Bad star popped the question. "It's good. It's so fun. I never thought I would be that person who had a Pinterest board," the actress said on Live With Kelly and Ryan about wedding planning in 2017. "And because we created it together from the beginning it's a really nice thing to do together. It's going to be so personal and fun. We are having a good time." Not long after the twosome welcomed their first child together, they sparked speculation that they were married at Dunst's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony after they were referred to as "husband" and wife." "Aside from the brilliant actor you are, I have also had the even greater pleasure of getting to know you as a person outside of work — KiKi or Keeks," Plemons gushed in his speech at the August 2019 ceremony. "Seeing the kind of mother and wife, daughter, sister, friend and cohort you are is why I and all of your friends and everyone else are here today and why we all love you." Dunst later clarified that the pair weren't hitched yet. Scroll through to revisit their relationship timeline: ![]() The twosome met on the set of Fargo season 2. He thought it was so funny." Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() The often-private couple dished on the early days of their romance in a candid interview with The New York Times, published in September. Cassie Randolph Isn't Ruling Out a Reality Show Return With BF Brighton Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:57 AM PST Never say never! Although it has been a while since Cassie Randolph made an appearance on reality television, the Bachelor alum exclusively told Us Weekly that “nothing is off the table” if it includes her boyfriend, Brighton Reinhardt. “We’ve thought about random little things here and there,” Randolph, 26, shared while promoting her collaboration with Lilias Active. “I think both of us have the personalities where any kind of opportunity or thing that comes our way, we are both, like, yes people always. The reality star, who made her relationship with Reinhardt, 24, Instagram official in July, opened up about how the couple have enjoyed getting to spend time together. “We’re doing great. We were friends for a really long time before we started dating so I kind of feel like that helped us out just in so many different ways,” she noted to Us. “So we just have a lot of fun together. He’s like my best friend.” Randolph explained how having so much in common allows them to go on so many different adventures together. “We like to do a lot of different things. We were actually just talking the other day how I’ve been so consumed with work and my house. I’m doing a lot of renovations on my house right now. So it’s very consuming. I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I need to get out.’ [So] we just went on a trip to Mexico together,” she detailed. “We were talking about how we used to love going on hikes and kind of exploring around the area together. I’m like, ‘Let’s start doing that more often.’ So just kind of exploring, adventuring together and hanging out with friends … it’s really fun.” The California native also gushed about the perks of dating a musician, noting, “Sometimes I’ll be upstairs and he’ll be downstairs and I’ll hear him start to sing, like, a random song out of nowhere that he’s thinking of.” She continued: “I’m like, ‘Is that about me?’ and he’s like, ‘Of course.’ So it’s really fun. It’s cute and it’s sweet to see how creatives and musicians — how their mind works and how they piece things together.” Randolph and Reinhardt originally sparked romance rumors in August 2020, following her split from season 23 Bachelor Colton Underwood. After Underwood, 29, and Randolph called it quits in May 2020, the speech pathologist was granted a restraining order against the former athlete four months later. Randolph claimed Underwood was stalking and harassing her, but the case was dropped in November 2020. Us confirmed in May that Randolph had moved on with Reinhardt after their relationship "progressed naturally" from friendship to something more. "He's been a good friend of hers for over five years," an insider told Us at the time. "He obviously knows what she went through with Colton and just supported her along the way." After Underwood came out as gay in April, he acknowledged during an interview with Today that he “got into a place with my personal life that was dark and bad,” hinting at the aftermath of his breakup with Randolph. The Bachelor contestant, for her part, made it clear that she wasn’t looking to discuss the past. “Regarding the topic in the media that brought my name up this week, I just want to let you know that I’m not going to be further discussing it or commenting on it for now,” she said in a video uploaded to her YouTube channel in April. “There’s a lot of layers to it, and I just feel like the best thing for me at this time is to move forward and just focus on going forward.” Randolph has since focused on projects such as her collaboration with Lilias Active, with the collection offering versatile options for every consumer. "I like that when I wear them, I feel like they're not only workout clothes or lounge clothes, but you could make them into a full outfit," Randolph told Us. With reporting by Marisa Petrarca |
Alex Rodriguez and Cynthia Scurtis’ Ups and Downs Through the Years Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:55 AM PST A rocky road. Alex Rodriguez and his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, weren't always able to put on a united front for their daughters. The baseball player met Scurtis at a Miami gym in the late '90s and they struck up a friendship. After dating for several years, they walked down the aisle in 2002. Two years later, more attention was on their relationship as Rodriguez started playing for The New York Yankees. "I'm having fun here in the city – I like it," Scurtis told The New York Post in 2004. "Miami is my home, my family is there, but I love it here." During a joint interview on the Today show that same year, the former psychology teacher told Matt Lauer that she was "flattered" by the attention the media gave Rodriguez for his looks. "He's my husband and if people find him attractive and sexy, great," she said at the time. The twosome went on to welcome daughter Natasha that year. Four years later, Scurtis gave birth to their second daughter, Ella, and their relationship crumbled. The Ohio State graduate filed for divorce in July 2008, citing "emotional abandonment" and "marital misconduct" in the court documents. Reports later surfaced that Scurtis accused Rodriguez of having an inappropriate relationship with Madonna, who had allegedly introduced him to her Kabbalah faith. The "Material Girl" songstress, who was married to Guy Ritchie at the time, denied the rumors in a statement. "I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez," she said in 2008. "I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study." Rodriguez subsequently entered a series of high-profile relationships, dating Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, tech CEO Anne Wojcicki and Jennifer Lopez. While he proposed to the "Let's Get Loud" songstress in 2019 after two years together, the twosome called off their nuptials in April 2021. Scurtis, for her part, moved on with Miami-based relator Angel Nicolas and welcomed daughter Camilla in 2016. While it's unclear when they wed, Nicolas started sharing wedding photos in early 2020, commemorating their anniversary that June. "Happy anniversary my love! I don't know where I would be without you, but I do know that I am the happiest I have ever been. You and the girls complete me," he gushed in June 2020 via Instagram. "Love you Rodriguez and Scurtis, meanwhile, made headlines for a child support battle more than a decade after their split. Scroll through for a timeline of their ups and downs: ![]() “In the beginning, it was kind of crazy. He traveled a lot, and I was working and I was also in school getting my graduate degree,” Scurtis recalled to Lauer in 2004 about the early days of her relationship with Rodriguez, whom she met in the late ‘90s. “And so, it was more, I would say, a friendship that developed into a relationship.” Chris Connor/WENN Newscom/Mega ![]() After he popped the question, the twosome wed in 2002. "The marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken because of the husband's extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct," her divorce petition read, claiming that the MLB star "emotionally abandoned his wife and children." Darron Cummings/AP/Shutterstock ![]() In July 2008, Scurtis’ attorney Earle Lilly claimed to People magazine that Rodriguez’s relationship with Madonna was "an affair of the heart" and not ”sexual infidelity." Amid the reports, which Madonna denied at the time, the athlete’s lawyer said in a statement: "His priorities are to have a future with his children and be a big part of their lives.” Speculation about Scurtis’ relationship with Lenny Kravitz surfaced, but he denied any romantic feelings between the pair. “Cynthia is a friend and is here with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex’s trainer, his wife and their baby girl,” Kravitz said in the statement at the time. “She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.” Despite the drama, the twosome finalized their divorce in 2008: “Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings," Rodriguez’s lawyer said in a statement at the time. "They deliberately engaged in a private negotiation. This was and remains a personal family matter for both of them. All of their decisions were based upon and guided by the best interests of their daughters.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() Several years after their split, Rodriguez and Scurtis proved to be on good terms, attending Parent-Teacher Day at Ella’s school in March 2017. The outing came shortly after news of his romance with Lopez broke. Courtesy of Alex Rodriguez/Instagram ![]() Things seemingly took a turn in 2018 amid Rodriguez’s relationship with Lopez after the former spouses reportedly disagreed over child support during mediation. “All I can tell you, there’s been a shift, and I’m not sure what to attribute it to,” Scurtis told The New York Post at the time. “Alex has dated some wonderful women since our divorce, many of whom have had positive relationships with our children. Alex and I have worked well trying to create a stable environment for our daughters and there has never been an issue. Until now.” In a statement to TMZ, Scurtis also fired back at reports that Rodriguez believed she could make a living of her own: ”To ensure that our daughters had a stable upbringing, and given his extensive traveling, Alex requested that I discontinue working and make parenting my primary focus." Through her lawyer, Scurtis added at the time: "I find it terribly disheartening, shocking and disappointing that Alex has resorted to reporting falsehoods. Why he seeks sympathy from the press and public baffles me." Rodriguez never publicly commented on the alleged child support dispute. Lenny Kravitz shared a heartfelt message for his daughter, Zoë Kravitz, on her birthday that was so sweet the Batman actress' stepdad, Jason Momoa, had to chime in. "Happy Birthday, Zoë. So many more castles to build together," he wrote via Instagram. "I love you endlessly." The sweet social media post received a ton of love in the comments from celebrities including Kate Hudson, Marisa Tomei and Zoë's boyfriend, Channing Tatum, who "liked" the post. ![]() However, it was 42-year-old Momoa's response that was nearly as supportive as the "Fly Away" singer's original message. "Congratulations my braddah," the Aquaman actor wrote. "Beautiful day It's not the first time Zoë's two dads have gushed over each other. In honor of Momoa's 42nd birthday in August, Lenny shared a kind note celebrating his ex-wife's husband. "I'm proud to call you my brother. One love. One family," the Let Love Rule author tweeted on August 1. Three years earlier, Momoa gifted Lenny a ring that matched one he already owned as a thank you for the musician's support when he hosted Saturday Night Live. "I'm a huge fan of the artists I meet on Instagram love spreading the aloha. I got @lennykravitz a present made by @leroyswoodentattoos amazing bone skull ring," the Dune actor wrote via Instagram in 2018 alongside a photo of the two guys showing off their complementary jewelry. The "American Woman" crooner, who was married to Bonet, 54, from 1987 to 1993, previously opened up about his bond with Momoa in a November 2020 interview with Men's Health. "People can't believe how tight Jason and I are, or how tight I still am with Zoë's mom, how we all relate," he told the magazine at the time. "We just do it because that's what you do. You let love rule, right? I mean, obviously, after a breakup, it's work — it takes some work and time, healing and reflection." Lenny further explained how "the moment" he met the Game of Thrones alum, who married Bonet in 2017, they both thought, "Oh, yeah. I love this dude." Zoë has spoken about the harmony between both sides of her blended family, which includes her siblings Lola, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf, 12, whom Bonet and Momoa share. "My dad and my stepdad get along really well, and my dad loves and is close with my brother and sister," the Mad Max: Fury Road actress told Ocean Drive magazine in 2015. "It's really beautiful." |
Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk: The Way They Were Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:30 AM PST From couple to coparents! Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk preferred to keep their romance quiet over the years, but throughout their relationship, they have found a way to stay friends. The A Star Is Born actor and the model were first spotted spending time together in New York in April 2015. The duo made their relationship official the following month with a PDA-filled trip to London. Cooper and Shayk continued to keep their romance private until the Russia native unveiled a baby bump at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in November 2016. The couple welcomed their daughter, Lea De Seine, in March 2017 and Cooper reflected on his life as a father one year later. "Having a child, and having a family of my own — which is a miracle and something I’ve always dreamt of — has opened me up even more, I guess, to the day, and to be present,” he said in an interview with NPR in September 2018. Cooper made headlines in early 2019 for his chemistry with A Star Is Born costar Lady Gaga, both on and offscreen. While Shayk supported her boyfriend at the time, the pair split up in June 2019 and a source told Us Weekly that the romance rumors played a role. "The movie had a major impact on Bradley and Irina's relationship," a source exclusively told Us at the time. "Even though there was nothing romantic between Bradley and Gaga, the noise was difficult for Irina to deal with." Another source revealed that the exes “haven't been getting along for a while” and that they were “not in a great place” leading up to the end of their relationship. Since their breakup, Cooper and Shayk have been focused on their daughter. "They share a balanced schedule with their daughter, which also varies based on their work obligations," an insider explained to Us in February 2021. "There have been no arguments about Lea’s schedule. Bradley usually is busier and has back-to-back films lined up, but he makes sure he spends a lot of time with Lea." This new normal for the twosome allowed for them to develop a friendship as well. “They are on healthy terms and are very respectful of one another, making the coparenting process much more seamless and smooth," the source added. “At this point in time, they are better off as friends." While Cooper and Shayk have found a way to make things work between them as coparents, they still choose not to speak about it publicly. “My past relationship, it's something that belongs to me, and it's private. It's just a piece of my inner self that I don't want to give away," Shayk clarified to Elle in March 2021. Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook: A Timeline of Their Relationship Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:22 AM PST It all started because of their mutual love of horses. Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook met at a horse show in California in March 2016 and were married for three years before pulling the plug on their relationship. The Big Bang Theory alum and the equestrian were first linked just months after Cuoco and her now ex-husband Ryan Sweeting split in September 2015 after nearly two years of marriage. After stepping out for their first red carpet in September 2016, Cuoco began gushing over the athlete and her hopes to spend forever with him. "I couldn't be happier. I feel very, very lucky that I found someone like him," the former 8 Simple Rules star told Us Weekly in September 2017 before explaining why they are the perfect match. "I like to torture him and he doesn't get mad at me. He just lets me do it! I'm just constantly trying to rib him," Cuoco joked. "He's got such a great sense of humor. I like it when I'm bugging him, bugging him and then I finally get that laugh which just kills me. He's just … I don't know. He's a real person and I think the big deal was knowing how much he loves dogs and horses — that's always on my checklist. 'Must love dogs' is number one and he checked that off quite quickly and I fell very hard." Fast-forward three months later and Cuoco's dreams would come true on her 32nd birthday when Cook got down on one knee and proposed to her. "Still crying every part of this night has been perfection just like you @mrtankcook I love you forever!" Cuoco captioned an Instagram video of the moment she said "Yes!" and added the engagement ring emoji. While they wed in June 2018, they announced their decision to call it quits in September 2021. "She's been in really great spirits lately," a source exclusively told Us later that month. "She certainly doesn't come off as someone who just separated from her husband." The insider revealed that there are "countless guys who would love to date" Cuoco, but she "laughed it off" when she was asked on a date shortly after her split from Cook. "Now's not the time," the source noted. "She really wants to take this time to focus on herself and focus on her upcoming roles. She remains positive and optimistic about the future." "I have the greatest fam and friends there ever was.” The birthday girl later documented her trip to the stables in an attempt to brighten her day. LA Dodgers’ Mookie Betts Marries Fiancee Brianna Hammonds Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:22 AM PST Even a pandemic can't stop wedding bells from ringing. As the world slowly began to open back up in 2021 following the COVID-19 crisis, stars were eager to exchange vows. First came Alexander Ludwig and Lauren Dear, who announced they'd eloped in Utah following a one-month engagement on January 4. Next up, Jennifer Wayne and Austin Moody wed on January 9 after a two-week engagement. “I’m still in complete shock but I'm humbled and honored to introduce you to Mrs. Moody,” the bluegrass musician wrote via Instagram at the time. “Now more than ever, I am able to truly admire and appreciate everything she is. I’ve never met anyone so kind and generous to people she knows as well as complete strangers. Without even knowing it, she teaches me how to be a better person every day that I am with her. I can't believe I got to marry my best friend … Jennifer, now I stand before the world a brand new man because of the love you've shown me. From this moment on you will never walk alone.” Another 2021 trend? Secret weddings! Aubrey Plaza subtly revealed on May 7 that she and her longtime beau, Jeff Baena, tied the knot by referring to him as her "darling husband" in an Instagram post. "Whoa!!!! "It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people," Grande's rep told Us Weekly on May 17. "The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier." Us confirmed the pair's engagement five months earlier. "Ariana is beyond excited. She has really enjoyed getting to know and falling in love with Dalton out of the spotlight, something she didn't get to do in her past relationships," an insider said in December 2020. "They are so in love and committed to spend the rest of their lives together." Other 2021 newlyweds included two Duggar brothers — Justin Duggar and Jed Duggar — who married Claire Spivey and Katey Nakatsu, respectively. "We are overjoyed about adding another daughter-in-love to our family," Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar wrote via Instagram to celebrate one of their son’s weddings. ANTM's Sarah Hartshorne Says Cast 'Should Have Been Paid' More: See Salary Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:17 AM PST ![]() Speaking out. Several years after competing on the ninth season of America's Next Top Model, Sarah Hartshorne is opening up about how much she — and other contestants — allegedly received on the reality show. "$40 a day, no residuals, and we had to pay for food," the comedian, 34, tweeted on Monday, November 29, after a social media user called out former host Tyra Banks and the ANTM judges for "making bank" when the contestants seemingly didn't. Hartshorne's Twitter thread has since gone viral as fans of the competition series have chimed in on their thoughts. "Tyra needs to be brought up on this," one user wrote. "I'm tired of these 'She’s a businesswoman'/'They were making a reality show' excuses. There’s no justification for intentionally traumatizing and triggering young women for millions of dollars. I don’t care what they signed or 'consented' to." Hartshorne also added via Twitter on Tuesday, November 30: "Lmaooo imagine thinking this is news to a bitch who was literally on a show where A WHOLE ASS PANEL judged us on our looks, our clothes, our posture, our everything." The Massachusetts native doubled down on her stance in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday, December 1, noting, "I never said I hated [ANTM]. The tweet that has everyone all up in the feelings is literally just numbers and facts. I don't hate the show. I'm glad that I did it. I also think we should have been paid … and I think that's fair." ![]() While Hartshorne noted that it was "valid" for others to "regret" their tenures on the CW-turned-VH1 competition, she asserted that she had a different experience. "I just want to say that I think it's really beautiful that you love the show and Tyra so much that this is stirring up so much in you," she told fans in her video. "I hope you bring that passion to everything in your life, but I also hope you can come to a reconciliation and a feeling of peace with the fact that something that you loved was harmful to other people." Earlier this year, Lisa D'Amato — who appeared on seasons 5 and 17 of ANTM — discussed her own salary while she competed on the show. "They don't feed you enough," the season 17 champ, 41, revealed during an April interview on the "Unwine With Tasha K" YouTube series, discussing the stipends that contestants allegedly received. "We had a small per diem but so many girls sent their money home. … We were getting, like, $45 a day or something like that, and then we were supposed to pay for all of our own groceries. I fought that and I was like, 'You're giving me $45 a day to pay for my own food but I still have to pay rent, like, we are here for two months.' I got us all, like, $200 extra each for food so that the per diem was just extra in case we wanted to buy extra things." Neither the Dancing With the Stars host, 47, nor the show have publicly addressed the recent claims, but the modeling competition previously came under fire for some of its challenges. In May 2020, viewers criticized the Modelland author for choosing photo shoot themes that would now be seen as problematic, including one where contestants had their skin darkened. Banks tweeted an apology at the time, writing, "Been seeing the posts about the insensitivity of some past ANTM moments and I agree with you. Looking back, those were some really off choices. Appreciate your honest feedback and am sending so much love and virtual hugs." |
Kaley Cuoco Says 'It’s OK to Not Feel Totally OK’ on 1st Birthday Post Split Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:10 AM PST A not-so happy birthday? Kaley Cuoco got real about celebrating her first birthday since her split from husband Karl Cook as she turned 36. “Sometimes it’s OK to not feel totally OK. Even on ur bday,” the Big Bang Theory alum wrote via her Instagram Story after ringing in her special day on Tuesday, November 30. The California native, who announced her split from Cook, 30, in September, noted that she does have a lot to be thankful for this year, despite her recent heartbreak. “I have the greatest fam and friends there ever was," she continued. Cuoco also shared a snap of a horse via her social media account during a birthday trip to the stables, noting how the animal managed to brighten her day. “A quick stop by the barn for some magical pony kisses always helps," the Flight Attendant star added. The Wedding Ringer star seemingly put aside her sad feelings on Wednesday, December 1, to celebrate both her and sister Briana Cuoco's 33rd birthdays with their annual group trip to Disneyland. Kaley shared photos of her squad going on rides, seeing Micky and Minnie Mouse and wearing festive attire via her Instagram Story. ![]() The actress' melancholy post — and pick-me-up adventure at Disneyland — came just three months after Kaley filed for divorce from the equestrian on September 3. The pair, who wed in June 2018, released a joint statement following the breakup, noting that there is "no anger or animosity" toward one another. "Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions," the duo said in a September statement after three years of marriage. "We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together." Kaley was back to work less than one month later and appeared to be in "good spirits" as she resumed filming projects such as Meet Cute and season 2 of The Flight Attendant. "She certainly doesn't come off as someone who just separated from her husband," a source exclusively told Us Weekly in late September, adding that the Hop actress isn’t ready to dive back into dating just yet. "She really wants to take this time to focus on herself and focus on her upcoming roles. She remains positive and optimistic about the future." The exes, who began dating in 2016, are now on "good terms," a second insider told Us earlier this month, noting that it's been an "amicable divorce." The source added that while it could take months to finalize the divorce, it would only be dragged out because of the legal system's timing. "It wouldn't be because of any fighting whatsoever," the insider said, adding that the 8 Simple Rules alum is ready to "officially move on" once the paperwork is finished. Kaley was previously married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016. |
Britney Spears’ Ups and Downs Over the Years Posted: 02 Dec 2021 11:07 AM PST The price of fame? Britney Spears' career and personal life have faced a series of ups and downs over the years. Spears, who was raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, first showed off her vocal skills on the singing competition Star Search at 10 years old in 1992. Following a stint on The Mickey Mouse Club, she signed a record deal with Jive Records in 1997. As Spears' singles, including "…Baby One More Time" and "Oops!… I Did It Again," climbed the charts, she started a relationship with ‘NSync member Justin Timberlake and the world became even more invested in the pop star. The twosome called it quits in 2002 after three years together amid rumors that Spears was unfaithful. As the "I'm a Slave 4 U" singer's popularity continued to grow, so did the attention on her personal life. Spears married her backup dancer Kevin Federline in October 2004 after a whirlwind romance. The twosome later welcomed sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. In 2007, Spears made headlines for a very public breakdown, which lead her to temporarily lose primary custody of her boys. She was also placed under a legal conservatorship in February 2008, which gave her father, Jamie Spears, control over her finances and her person. Nearly a decade later, the Grammy winner addressed her battle with mental health during an interview with Marie Claire UK. “I moved to Los Angeles when I was very young. I was so under scrutiny,” she said in October 2016. “If a hair was out of place, I'd be so anxious. I would get very anxious about so many things.” Britney added that motherhood made her "so much more accepting" of herself: "That has been a really big thing for me over these last few years.” After a triumphant comeback and successful Las Vegas residency, Jamie was hospitalized in late 2018 after his colon spontaneously ruptured. As a result, Britney postponed her second Vegas residency in January 2019. More than two months later, she checked herself into a mental health facility. "The stress has been hard on her," a source told Us in March 2019. "It's been a very difficult time." Six months later, Jamie temporarily stepped down as Britney’s full-time conservator and Jodi Montgomery, a licensed fiduciary, joined her conservatorship team. In February 2021, Hulu released an episode of The New York Times Presents titled “Framing Britney Spears,” which renewed public interest in her conservatorship. Four months later, Britney broke her silence about the situation during a remote court hearing. “I just want my life back,” she said, asking the judge to end the conservatorship. “It's been 13 years and it's enough. It's enough and it makes no sense at all. I'm done.” A judge officially terminated the conservatorship in November 2021. Britney reacted to the news via Instagram, writing, "Best day ever … praise the Lord … can I get an Amen????" She is an amazing mother.” The exes reached an agreement in September 2018, with the Crossroads star paying the DJ an additional $15,000 a month. Their original agreement had her giving Federline $20,000 a month. WireImage (2) ![]() Britney announced she was going on an indefinite work hiatus — and putting her second Las Vegas residency titled Domination — on hold after her father, Jamie, fell ill. “I am dedicating my focus and energy to care for my family. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and I look forward to the time when I can be back on stage performing for all of you.” Nearly three months later, multiple sources confirmed to Us that the star checked into a mental health facility amid concerns over Jamie’s illness. Britney is at a “wellness center that prioritizes physical, mental and spiritual well-being and Britney will be there for a few weeks,” an insider told Us at the time, noting that her sons “are in the full-time care of their dad, Kevin, for the time being.” Courtesy Britney Spears/Instagram ![]() The former X Factor judge requested to have her father permanently removed as her conservator in August 2020, in favor of having Montgomery become her sole care manager. She said she felt "enslaved" by her father, adding that she had been forced to take lithium against her will, among other things. "You know, fake it till you make it, but now I’m telling you the truth, I’m not happy. I can’t sleep. I’m so angry it’s insane," she said. "I cry every day.” The singer also claimed that she wanted to have another child, but her conservators had prevented her from going to the doctor to have her IUD removed. "I have an IUD in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out," she told the court. "I want to be able to get married and have a baby. I was told with the conservatorship I was not able to get married and have a baby." Shutterstock ![]() In August 2021, Us confirmed that Britney was under investigation for battery after her housekeeper claimed that the performer slapped a cell phone out of her hands. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told Us that the alleged altercation occurred at the Grammy winner's California home and that there were no injuries at that time. Britney's attorney, Mathew Rosengart responded to the accusations in a statement to Us. “This is overblown sensational tabloid fodder — nothing more than a manufactured ‘he said, she said’ regarding a cell phone, with no striking and obviously no injury whatsoever,” he said. “Anyone can make an accusation, but this should have been closed immediately.” The following day, TMZ reported that the incident was allegedly related to the housekeeper's concerns about Britney's dogs. After the singer asked a dog sitter to take them to the vet, the animals were reportedly not seen again. When Britney asked about their whereabouts, the housekeeper claimed she was concerned about the dogs being neglected and that is when the alleged altercation happened. How Sam Asghari Is Celebrating Britney Spears’ 40th Birthday Posted: 02 Dec 2021 10:38 AM PST Stronger together! It was love at first sight when Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met in October 2016 on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video. "I was excited that I [would] get to meet one of the biggest artists of all time," the personal trainer recalled to Men's Health in July 2018. "I had butterflies." But when Asghari tried to break the ice, he almost ruined his chances with the Grammy winner. "She said, 'Hi, I'm Britney,' and I said, 'I'm sorry, what's your name again?'" he told the magazine. "I tried to be funny. I don't think anybody got it." Fortunately, Spears was charmed by the fitness model and they started chatting about one of their favorite foods, sushi. They continued to talk throughout the shoot and exchanged phone numbers by the end so that they could set up a proper first date. And the rest, as they say, was history. "I found his number in my bag. I was like, 'He is really cute. This guy is really cute,'" the Princess of Pop recounted during a January 2017 radio interview. "So then I called him, and ever since then, he is just a really fun, funny person." Since then, Asghari has been a huge support system for Spears in her personal and professional lives. He was a fixture in the audience during her Piece of Me residency in Las Vegas and helped her come out stronger than yesterday (pun intended) after she spent 30 days in a mental health facility in spring 2019. His comment came a day after he gave a statement to People amid social media speculation about Spears, saying that he has "always wanted nothing but the best for my better half and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves." "I am thankful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all over the world, and I am looking forward to a normal, amazing future together," the actor added. I was like, ‘Oh s—t. I'm meeting a real human being that has passion.’ And you know what's crazy? … The fact that someone so successful, someone — it's going to help me down the line, it's helping me as we speak — is that someone that's on her level or her level of success could be so sweet and so humble, you know what I mean?” he said. “Versus you meet some people that are not so successful that don't have that attitude. You understand how these people that are on the level as she is, why she's there because they make people fall in love with them. Just like her, just like the Rock. They make people feel amazing being around them. It's the energy when they enter a room, it's so amazing you know. That's what helps me, and I hope I have that energy.” The actor added that Britney is taking the lead when it comes to wedding planning.“She's wearing the pants.
