'Succession' Cast's Dating Histories Through the Years: Photos

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 06:02 PM PST

Life doesn’t always imitate art. While the Succession characters aren’t great at healthy relationships onscreen, many of the actors have happy, long-lasting romances offscreen.

Sarah Snook, who plays Shiv Roy on the HBO series, secretly tied the knot in February 2021. She revealed eight months later that the COVID-19 pandemic helped her realize that her best friend, comedian Dave Lawson, was her soul mate.

"At the beginning of the pandemic last year, I got locked down in Melbourne with one of my best mates and we fell in love," the Aussie actress told Vogue Australia in October 2021. "We've been friends since 2014, lived together, travelled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic. We've just never been single at the same time. I proposed and we got married in February in my backyard.”

While Snook is somewhat of a newlywed herself, many of her cast mates have long been off the market. Matthew Macfadyen — who plays Tom Wambsgans on Succession — was married long before the HBO series was even a thought. He and actress Keeley Hawes wed in November 2004. They share daughter Maggie and son Ralph, who were born in December 2004 and in September 2005, respectively.

Hawes, who also welcomed son Myles in April 2000 amid her marriage to Spencer McCallum, explained that a happy marriage takes a lot of effort.

“You have to work at it,” she told You magazine in May 2019, when speaking about her romance with Macfadyen. “We still fill up the dishwasher and put a wash on — that's life — but you also have to make the effort to be romantic. When life takes over, going out to dinner together isn't top of your list, but before you know it, the children are older and around less and you're sort of back together again. I couldn't love him more. It helps that he's the nicest man in the world.”

Hawes also knew about the Pride and Prejudice actor’s quirky side long before the Roy family was drawing in millions of viewers each week. “People are seeing this side of him and going, ‘Wow, he's so funny … and so weird …’ and I'm like, ‘Yeah, well, I know,'” she said.

Of course, the entire cast isn’t loved up yet. Nicholas Braun, who plays cousin Greg on Succession, told the New York Times in October 2021, "I haven't really been in a long-term relationship, ever."

He said he’s "fascinated by romance and courting another human” since it’s so unfamiliar to him. "I do yearn for it and yet I'm incapable of it," Braun added. "I go toward it and then I hit a wall where I'm like, I can't go farther into this. I've got to exit."

Take a look back at all the Succession cast‘s dating histories below:

Nicholas Braun
The How to Be Single actor is typically very private about his love life, though he has admitted that none of his relationship have been long lasting. He briefly dated artist Camilla Engstrom, who appeared in his music video for his 2020 single "Antibodies," and he still trusts he'll find love soon. “I do believe it’ll happen at the right time with the right person. Until then, it’s fun to meet people and see what works," he said in October 2021. Gregory Pace/Shutterstock
Jeremy Strong
The Emmy nominee, who plays Kendall Roy, met child psychiatrist Emma Wall during 2012's Hurricane Sandy in New York City. They share three kids. “He does a really good job of maintaining what he’s doing but also creating a space for the family and a normal life," she told The New Yorker of her husband in a December 2021 profile. Hamlin Family Drama Over the Years: Health Issues, Social Media Shade and More

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 05:39 PM PST

Living their lives publicly. After Lisa Rinna joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2014, viewers were quickly introduced to her family and all of their individual struggles.

Fans have gotten to know Rinna’s husband, Harry Hamlin, and their daughters, Amelia Gray Hamlin and Delilah Belle Hamlin, over the years, and as they watched Amelia and Delilah grow up, the sisters started using that platform to have candid conversations about their personal struggles.

In November 2021, Delilah revealed that she had developed health issues that led to her getting hospitalized.

“Basically, in the beginning of the year, I want to say February and March, is when I got my COVID-19 vaccine,” she explained in a lengthy Instagram video at the time. “And after the second vaccine, I was sick for, like, 36 hours. I felt like my bones were breaking but, like, whatever. … That’s when everything kind of started.”

Delilah clarified that she was not against the vaccine, but that getting the second vaccine “flared up and triggered certain autoimmune diseases” that she wasn’t aware of initially.

“I started getting really sick, I started feeling like I had the flu. I was getting migraines, I was having panic attacks — it was like my body was in constant ‘fight or flight’ mode. It was horrible,” she detailed. “I just knew in my gut that there was something else wrong.”

In the emotional social media post, Delilah noted that she was not doing great “mentally” amid the difficult experience, saying, “I’m feeling hopeless since the last place I went to didn’t really work out. I can look perfectly fine and feel perfectly horrible. That’s just that. That’s something I struggle with mentally, is feeling believed.”

Shortly after Delilah opened up about the ups and downs in her life, Rinna addressed her daughter’s condition.

“Thank you to all of the angels who have reached out, sharing their stories, sending their love and prayers, we are so grateful to you all for your help and your guidance!!” the Melrose Place alum wrote via her Instagram Stories.

One month later, Delilah made headlines when she shared a TikTok video with the caption, "Unrealistic things I want for Christmas … for my parents to pay for my trauma therapy."

The since-deleted December 2021 upload caused fans to question where Delilah stands when it comes to her parents, who have yet to publicly comment on the video.

Scroll down to relive all the struggles that the Hamlin family has overcome:

Amelia’s Eating Disorder
In April 2018, Amelia got honest about her journey to recovery after struggling with an eating disorder. “I feel comfort with finally posting something that I wish I was confident enough to post long ago,” the California native captioned side by side photos of her one year prior compared to her currently. “Last year at this time there was no doubt that I was not okay. Not only physically but also mentally ... . Instead of people ever commenting on my mental stability, people commented on my weight. Usually, when people are struggling with an eating disorder it stems from your mind, and your body is a reflection of it. Once I got the help that I needed, shortly after the second photo was taken, I began to try to love myself for me.” As Rinna discussed her daughter's eating disorder on the Bravo reality series one year later, Amelia reflected on the decision to share her story with the world.   “I didn’t tell anyone I planned to ‘come out,’ so to speak. Instead, I took my phone down to the beach to be alone and started drafting an Instagram post — just writing it down helped me a lot. I started crying. Even for me, it was powerful to read the truth. I felt lighter,” she wrote in a vulnerable essay for Glamour magazine in June 2019. “I wish I could pull up a screen and show the world a play-by-play of my past." Amelia also called out the people claiming her mother didn't help her, detailing, "My mom tried to help me so much, but every time I’d just be like, ‘No, I’m fine, I’m just on a weight-loss journey.’ To have people saying she didn’t do enough hurts my heart so much. If they could only see how much I rejected her help and how much I pushed her away — it hurts me for her.” If you or someone you know is struggling with an eating disorder, contact the National Eating Disorders Association at (800) 931-2237. Delilah’s Overdose
During a November 2021 Instagram video, Delilah recalled how an attempt to seek treatment for her panic attacks with a psychiatrist turned into her being over-prescribed "three milligrams of Xanax a day." "My body got dependent on Xanax number one, and number two, I overdosed. I didn't mean to at all. I overdosed on this one medication called Propranolol," Delilah shared during the video. "I took Benadryl with it and, for some reason, I ended up in the hospital." Delilah's visit to an Arizona center, which she emphasized was not a rehab facility,  helped her kick her dependence on Xanax, but she continued to face other symptoms as a result of her declining mental health. "I'm having seizures left and right," she said. "My health is getting scary. ... Unfortunately, I was I think a medical risk, so I was politely asked to leave after three weeks of being there and making a best friend." Lisa and Harry’s Reaction to Amelia’s Relationship With Scott Disick
Amelia sparked romance rumors with Scott Disick in October 2020, which shocked Rinna and Harry at the time. “It’s a what the f—k moment. You’re like, ‘What the f—k?’ She’s 19. He’s 37 with three kids,” the Days of Our Lives alum told her costar Erika Jayne in a June 2021 episode. “We’re thinking it’s a phase, right? It’s a phase, I don’t want to bring attention to it.” Three months after their relationship was mentioned on RHOBH, Us Weekly broke the news that Amelia and Disick had split after less than one year of dating. Rinna noted that her opinion of the romance didn't play a role in the breakup.   "There’s never one reason why I think people split up, you know. Now’s the time to heal, now’s the time for everyone to heal,” the Veronica Mars alum told host Andy Cohen during the October 2021 reunion episode. Harry, who also voiced his disapproval of the major age gap in the past, later offered an update on how his daughter was doing after calling it quits with the Talentless cofounder. “Look, Amelia’s doing great. She’s living in New York, and she’s having the time of her life solo,” the Mad Men alum said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in December 2021. “I have no idea [about the breakup]. I didn’t pull the curtain. I have no idea what exactly happened there. I’m just glad that she is solo. Put it that way.”   Shutterstock(3)
Delilah Shading Her Parents Amid Her Health Issues
After deleting one TikTok video that seemingly addressed her relationship with her parents, Delilah posted another video where she jokingly brings up her mental health issues. “I’m so sorry that I’ve been acting weird for the past several months. I’m struggling mentally,” she lip-synched in the December 2021 clip. AFF-USA/Shutterstock; Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock

Chris Pratt Pens Sweet Birthday Tribute to ‘Tough as Nails’ Wife Katherine

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 05:05 PM PST

Chris Pratt's divorce from Anna Faris broke fans' hearts, but the Parks and Recreation alum found another shot at love with Katherine Schwarzenegger.

The couple started dating in 2018, one year after Pratt and Faris confirmed they were going their separate ways after eight years of marriage (the exes welcomed son Jack in 2012). In January 2019, the Take Me Home Tonight actor announced that he and Schwarzenegger were engaged. The couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Montecito, California, just six months later.

Shortly after the Guardians of the Galaxy star exchanged vows with his new love, he chalked up their whirlwind romance to a lucky twist of fate. “We met at church,” he explained to Extra in July 2019. “It was a lot of kismet, and a lot of connections, but that was where we met.”

Pratt later admitted that he felt “so grateful” to have found a lifelong partner in Schwarzenegger. “Aww, man, I’m lucky,” he told Entertainment Tonight in August 2019. “God is good. I feel really good, really blessed. Everything is great.”

As their love continued to blossom, the Rock What You’ve Got author dished on how the pair were able to maintain such a strong connection. “I’m a big communicator,” she told Us Weekly and other reporters during a virtual fireside chat in April 2020. “I got married last June, and just communication constantly is, like, really the most amazing gift you can have, I think, in a partnership and in a relationship. … I don’t like to go to bed angry. And we both are the same way.”

Less than one week after spilling her secrets to a successful marriage, news broke that Schwarzenegger and Pratt were expecting their first child together. While paying tribute to her mother, Maria Shriver, in a Mother’s Day Instagram post in May, the “Dog That Changed Me” podcast host admitted she’s wanted to be a mom “for as long as I can remember." Her dream came true in August 2020 when she and Pratt welcomed their little bundle of joy.

"Talking about things that maybe we wouldn't necessarily have talked about before getting married, [talking] about things that couples of 10 or 15 years still don't like to talk about with one another. Ryan Reynolds Reveals How Quickly That Peloton Ad With Chris Noth Happened

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 03:09 PM PST

And just like that … the Peloton commercial was born. After the Sex and the City revival killed off Mr. Big with an exercise-related death, Ryan Reynolds recruited Chris Noth to help bring the iconic character back to life.

Where Every 'Sex and the City' Character Is When 'And Just Like That' Begins

“By pure luck, we’d been talking to Peloton about our Creative as a Subscription product in the week before this all happened,” Reynolds, 45, told The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, December 13. “I literally met Dara [Treseder, CMO of Peloton] for the first time on December 1. She emailed us right after the episode aired and we all knew just what to do.”

One day prior, the Deadpool actor made headlines after he shared an ad for Peloton starring Noth, 67, and real-life Peloton instructor Jess King.

"To new beginnings," Noth, 67, said to King, 36, who made a cameo as an instructor named Allegra in the HBO Max series, during the commercial. "I feel great. Should we take another ride? Life's too short not to."

Reynolds offered his voice to the video, saying in the background, "And just like that, the world was reminded that regular cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs and circulation, reducing your risk of cardiovascular diseases. Cycling strengthens your heart muscles, lowers resting pulse and reduces blood fat levels. He's alive!"

Sex and the City fans were in for a shock when the premiere for And Just Like That ended with Mr. Big suffering from a heart attack after working out on his Peloton bike. His wife, Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker), returned home to see her husband collapsed on the floor as she says to the audience, "And just like that, Big died."

After seeing the huge reaction to the SATC death, Reynolds recalled how he used his marketing firm to allow Peloton to create their own narrative.

“We try to do these things in a way where everyone wins. Peloton, Chris and the show itself,” he noted on Monday, revealing that the entire project from conception to filming took 24 hours. “Chris was in right away, but it was a whirlwind, for all of us. I certainly helped secure Chris but Maximum Effort has built itself on challenges like these, so, while never ever easy, the secret is practice and not losing heart when challenges inevitably occur.”

For the Canada native, seeing the overwhelming response to the creative idea proved that it was worth the last-minute effort.

“It’s been really satisfying to work so hard so quickly towards something which is this much fun, and have it work out,” he added. “I think people like to see the spirit of Maximum Effort — that we want to have fun and bring people together but not ever at anyone’s expense.”

Peloton, for their part, also previously addressed Mr. Big’s death and the misconception that occurred with his final scene.

"I'm sure SATC fans, like me, are saddened by the news that Mr. Big dies of a heart attack. Mr. Big lived what many would call an extravagant lifestyle — including cocktails, cigars, and big steaks — and was at serious risk as he had a previous cardiac event in Season 6," the company shared via a statement from Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum on Thursday, December 9. "These lifestyle choices and perhaps even his family history, which often is a significant factor, were the likely cause of his death. Riding his Peloton bike may have even helped delay his cardiac event."

Steinbaum continued: "While 25 percent of heart attacks each year are in patients who already had one (like Mr. Big), even then they are very, very treatable. It's always important to talk to your doctor, get tested, and have a healthy prevention strategy. The good news is Peloton helps you track heart rate while you ride, so you can do it safely."

Showrunner Michael Patrick King later weighed in on how Noth played a role in his character’s exit.

“We started talking about the character and what it would mean. Then Chris and I worked a lot, and it was a thrill because he has great instincts, great story instincts,” King, 67, told Us and other reporters in an interview on Friday, December 11. “Together, what we came up with is exactly how he left and why he left and how he would leave and what their last moments would be.

And Just Like That airs new episodes Thursdays on HBO Max.

"I knew instantly. I don't know if she did. It's taken her about 20 years to know," Cohen told The New York Times in October 2020.

Two years after sparking romance rumors, the couple got engaged, but Fisher admitted that she preferred to keep her relationship with Cohen as under the radar as possible.

“I’m not really comfortable talking about my private life and Sacha and I are probably very similar in that we hide our feelings behind humor,” the Confessions of a Shopaholic actress shared with the Daily Mail in August 2008.

As they prepared for their nuptials, Fisher ended up making the decision to convert to Judaism in honor of her then-fiancé.

"I will definitely have a Jewish wedding just to be with Sacha. I would do anything — move into any religion — to be united in marriage with him," she explained to the Evening Standard ahead of their 2011 ceremony.

For Fisher, the crucial part was all about having their loved ones at the event.

"It [was] very important to me to have a beautiful ritual celebrated with my family and friends. And when you are in the public eye, to keep that private and to make it happen without it being really visible is really difficult," she admitted to Allure in January 2009.

Prior to getting married though, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Olivia, in 2007.

After getting married in March 2011, the twosome welcomed their second daughter, Elula, several months later. The Now You See Me star and the Borat actor continued to focus on making sure their growing family had the privacy they wanted.

"Motherhood is my favorite topic but I never talk about it publicly. As much as I love what I am doing, and I am so fortunate to have the opportunities that I have had, my responsibility is to my family," Fisher told Us Weekly in March 2011 about adjusting to life as a parent.

As Fisher and Cohen’s marriage blossomed with the addition of their two daughters, the Scooby-Doo star admitted that it took work to stay together year after year.

"Choosing to be together every day is incredibly romantic. I love marriage. I think it's a wonderful institution and it's the most important decision you make," she told Australia's Sunday Telegraph in October 2012. "Life is filled with highs and lows, and you have a best friend to share it with you. It's amazing. It's like winning the lottery, having a good partner."

Even though the duo had their individual hectic work schedules, Fisher explained that they would always choose family before anything else.

“Family is 100 percent my top priority. So I’m much more comfortable doing supporting roles right now. And often,” the Arrested Development alum detailed to The Telegraph in July 2013.

Two years later, Cohen and Fisher welcomed their son, Montgomery, into the family.

In a rare interview, Fisher acknowledged that her decision to keep her life private has only added to the intrigue. "It feels like now it’s an interesting news point that I don’t want to talk about it. Yet when I started out, it was interesting that people wanted to talk about their private life. No one could believe it," Fisher told Today in October 2017. "Everyone was like 'Oh,  my God. Can you believe she is talking about her private life, whoever it was.' Nowadays, we are used to everyone sharing everything that I’ve become an interesting news story for keeping a secret." Although many think Fisher prefers her privacy, she clarified that she does get many visitors due to her faith. "But I do have an open-door policy and people come over all of the time. Taylor Swift's Celebrity BFFs Through the Years

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 01:10 PM PST

Bad blood? Eh, not much! Since launching her music career in 2006, Taylor Swift has amassed quite the Rolodex of celebrity friends.

The Grammy winner — who once admitted that "never being popular as a kid was always an insecurity" of hers — aligned herself with the likes of Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss in the early 2010s. In more recent years, however, that exclusive squad has evolved as Swift began to surround herself with a more tight-knit group of ride or dies. Some friends have stayed put, while others have drifted away.

"In my 20s I found myself surrounded by girls who wanted to be my friend," the "Shake It Off" singer wrote in a May 2019 Elle essay. "So I shouted it from the rooftops, posted pictures and celebrated my newfound acceptance into a sisterhood, without realizing that other people might still feel the way I did when I felt so alone."

In the same essay, Swift noted the importance of "learning the difference between lifelong friendships" and what she called "situationships."

"Something about "we're in our young 20s!" hurls people together into groups that can feel like your chosen family. And maybe they will be for the rest of your life. Or maybe they'll just be your comrades for an important phase, but not forever," she continued. "It's sad but sometimes when you grow, you outgrow relationships. You may leave behind friendships along the way, but you'll always keep the memories."

As time passed, the country-pop star started to realize who her true friends were: "the ones who stuck around" through her highs and lows.

"I have friends and fans in my life who don't care if I’m #canceled," she wrote. "They were there in the worst times and they're here now."

Swift included some of her most trustworthy pals in her 2015 "Bad Blood" music video, including Selena Gomez and Lena Dunham.

"There has always been this quality of sisterhood, and I don't say that in a basic way," she said of her friendship with Gomez in a January 2020 interview with WSJ. Magazine. "I knew from when I met her I would always have her back."

The "Rare" songstress echoed a similar sentiment about the Cats actress, telling the publication, "We both went through s–t at the same time. She taught me a lot about how I should be treated at a young age."

Olivia Rodrigo
The “Déjà Vu” singer, who describes herself as a Swift “fangirl for life,” sparked a friendship with the Grammy winner after dropping her first single, “Drivers License,” in January 2021. After hearing the track, Swift wrote Rodrigo a letter and sent her one of her rings as a gift. "I don't want to divulge too much because it's really sweet and personal, but she talks a lot about how, I think, you make your own luck in the world," the Bizaardvark alum told Billboard in its May 2021 cover story. "I don't know, she put it so eloquently, and when I say it now ... it's not as cool.” Rodrigo later gushed about Swift after meeting her at the 2021 BRIT Awards in May. "It's so nice to be welcomed into the music industry and so great to be supportive of other women," she told Variety in August 2021. Richard Young/Shutterstock
Camila Cabello
Swift has been a good friend to the former Fifth Harmony member over the years, throwing her an 18th birthday party and later inviting her to serve as an opening act on the Reputation tour. In August 2021, Cabello revealed that she thought of Swift as her "fabulous godmother" after her guidance helped her find her way professionally. "I started out and I was a teenager when I met her, like 18 or something, and she always gave me great advice," the "Havana" singer told Entertainment Tonight at the time. "She was always really supportive of me and really nurturing and sweet. So in the industry, I would say her." Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Swift started hanging out with the Gossip Girl alum and the Deadpool star in 2015. She included the couple’s daughter James’ voice in her 2017 song “Gorgeous” and revealed their third child Betty’s name in a 2020 track. The following year, Lively directed the music video for Swift's reimagined version of "I Bet You Think About Me." The “Enchanted” singer and Kloss enjoyed an all-girls California road trip in 2014 and have been photographed several times in NYC. “I think she’s the coolest girl,” the model told Us at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “She’s a great role model, and I love her music.” However, Swift and Kloss reportedly had a falling out in 2019 after the musician called out the entrepreneur’s friend Scooter Braun for purchasing her masters. Fans later speculated that the Grammy winner’s Evermore song “It’s Time to Go” — which included the lyric “When the words of a sister come back in whispers / That prove she was not in fact what she seemed” — was about Kloss. Romance rumors began to swirl as the singers became fast friends while collaborating. “Literally, I went in there and we passed the guitar back and forth and played songs to each other,” he told TVNZ of their platonic relationship in 2013. Chris Noth and Wife Tara Wilson's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 12:48 PM PST

Big may have had a handful of messy relationships during Sex and the City, but Chris Noth‘s romance has been seamless, to say the least.

The Law & Order alum has been married to Tara Wilson since 2012, but the pair met more than 10 years before. Despite their 27-year age difference, they hit it off rather early — and went to great lengths to keep their relationship private.

In 2013, one year after the pair tied the knot in an intimate Maui, Hawaii, wedding, Noth revealed that he had received horrific letters about his interracial romance.

"When I was in a play on Broadway two years ago, I'd occasionally get letters of outrage, usually from somewhere in Alabama or something, saying you know, 'Don't come down here with your wife,'" he told the Wall Street Journal at the time, adding that he was hopeful things were getting better in the world. “We’re all getting together. We’re all mixing it up.”

Best known for his role as John Preston, a.k.a. Mr. Big, Noth also brought up his wife while reflecting on the character in 2021, ahead of the debut of the Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That.

"I never saw him as an alpha male, that's so funny that you say that. But it's true, I do get offers to play these power-broker types,” he shared with The Guardian at the time. “I know how to put on a suit, but my wife put it perfectly when she said: 'I don't think people realize that you're kind of schlubby.'”

While the couple remain out of the spotlight, they have worked together multiple times. First, she worked at his New York City bar. Years later, they opened a tearoom together in 2008. “It’s a place where a mother or a couple can relax and kids can play. We have costumes and children’s yoga,” the Good Wife alum shared of Once Upon a Teacup, located in Windsor, Ontario. “I had no idea when we started this that we’d be bringing our own child there. I can’t wait to watch my son dress up as a fireman or a cop.”

In 2009, the pair starred alongside one another in the indie film Frame of Mind, one year after welcoming their first son, Orion.

"My son makes me laugh every day. He's got a little of my goofball in him. He still loves poop jokes," he told Australia’s WHO magazine in 2016 of his then-8-year-old son, four years before welcoming baby No. 2. “He'll text me poop emojis and then sign, 'Daddy, it's Orion,' and I'm like, 'I know!' Boys never get over that."

The 44-year-old rapper “will be invited to all holidays and family celebrations,” a source tells Us Weekly exclusively, noting that the 41-year-old Skims CEO “wants Kanye to be a big part of the kids’ lives.”

Kardashian and West share daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2. The pair were married for nearly seven years before the reality star filed for divorce in February. Us confirmed on Friday, December 10, that the California native asked the court to legally declare her single — and to restore her last name.

“Kim worked for so long to make her and Kanye’s marriage work and it didn’t,” the insider says. “She will continue to coparent, have him in her life for the kids, but she is not going to be back with him romantically. Kim has already moved on.”

One day before taking the next step in her divorce proceedings, Kardashian was name-dropped during one of the Yeezy designer’s concerts. While performing “Runaway” at a Free Larry Hoover benefit show on Thursday, December 9, West sang, “I need you to run right back to me. More specifically, Kimberly.”

The public declaration came shortly after the Grammy winner alleged that he never received the official paperwork to end his marriage to the Selfish author.

“We’re not even divorced,” he said during an interview on Revolt’s “Drink Champs” in November. “So how we — because [it’s] no joke to me, my kids want their parents to stay together. I want their parents — I want us to be together. … I ain’t got the paperwork yet, so I’m [going to] come on this joint and try to save my family and keep my family together.”

Later that month, West made an emotional plea while visiting Skid Row in Los Angeles before Thanksgiving.

“I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason — I didn’t know I was going to be standing right here, I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I’m here to change that narrative,” he said at the time. “I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So when I’m out [of] the house, I’ve got a house right next to the house. I’m doing everything to be right next to the situation.”

The KKW Beauty founder has not directly responded to her former spouse’s speeches, but she recently gave him a shoot-out while accepting the Fashion Icon trophy at the 2021 People’s Choice Awards.

“I’m humbled every single day that designers are willing to work with me. There was a time when they weren’t. … Well, [they] probably [were] talked into it by getting a call from Kanye,” she joked on Tuesday, December 7. “So thank you to Kanye even for really introducing me to the fashion world. I fell in love with fashion. This is a dream that I get to wake up and wear these amazing clothes and try new things, take a risk. I’m so humbled.”

Earlier this year, West was briefly linked to Irina Shayk. Kardashian, for her part, moved on with Pete Davidson after the duo connected on the set of her October Saturday Night Live episode. One month later, the pair confirmed their romance after celebrating the comedian’s 28th birthday together — and they keep heating up.

“The past few years of Kim’s life have been super intense a lot of the time, so this is a real positive transition for her,” a source exclusively revealed in November. “She’s learning to move past day-to-day stresses and focus on the fun and sexy things.”

The pair, who married in 2012, showed off a Magnolia Bakery box on both of their Instagram Stories.

“To my Mister, who always goes BIG or goes home. I love you so much. But not as much as Peloton loves you,” Lively, 34, wrote on the package before signing the message, “Serena Bradshaw.”

The A Simple Favor star also shared a photo of her holding the box in front of her face while standing next to the Free Guy leading man. “Yes the cupcakes were harmed in the taking of this photo,” she captioned the sweet snap. “Luckily my husband can revive anything.”

She also reposted the photo of the box to point out her “Serena Bradshaw” signature. Serena van der Woodsen was, of course, Lively’s iconic Gossip Girl character. The high school drama was widely described as “Sex and the City for the younger set” when the CW series debuted in 2007. Bradshaw, however, is a reference to SATC — which is the entire reason Reynolds, 45, was making a commercial.

Peloton was in the spotlight when HBO Max’s And Just Like That, the long-awaited Sex and the City revival, showed the beloved Big (Chris Noth) tragically suffered a heart attack after a session on his Peloton bike, and he didn’t survive. The company’s stock dropped in the aftermath of the episode’s debut on Thursday, December 9, so they scrambled to put together a new ad after releasing a statement about the safety of the bike. The Deadpool actor’s Maximum Effort company knew how to make viewers laugh.

On Sunday, December 12, Reynolds’ company released a Peloton ad starring both Noth, 67, and Peloton instructor Jess King (who made a cameo as the fictional Allegra in And Just Like That). They sit in front of a roaring fireplace as they toast to new beginnings.

“Should we take another ride?” Noth asks. “Life’s too short not to.”

As they share a laugh, Reynolds’ speedy voiceover chimes in: “And just like that, the world was reminded that regular cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs, and circulation, reducing your risk of cardiovascular diseases. Cycling strengthens your heart muscles, lowers resting pulse and reduces blood fat levels. He’s alive.”

Lively shared the commercial via her Instagram Stories with a sticker that said, “my uterus is exploding” and a message to her husband: “@vancityreynolds, may you always dream big.”

Reynolds is currently taking a little time away from acting to focus on his work with Maximum Effort. He told LinkedIn earlier this month that he’ll get to dive into his businesses — including Mint Mobile and Aviation Gin — during normal business hours, but he can be a regular parent when his kids are home. The Just Friends star and Lively share daughters James, 6, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2.

"I don't want to miss this time with my kids. … I want my kids to have a pretty normal schedule,” he explained. “I think it’s totally important for their development, and I really enjoy being a present dad. I love taking them to school in the morning. I love picking them up. I love that I have the hours in between to focus on the things that I’m really passionate about."

Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Timeline

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 12:04 PM PST

These days, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are royalty as far as Hollywood couples go, but the Detective Pikachu star and the Age of Adaline actress were once just two friends out on a double date — with other people!

As Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly's SiriusXM show in February 2016: “We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl — and that was, like, the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across."

Still, the Critics' Choice winner said he was glad that the two started off as "buddies." "I remember it was funny, because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff, we were both single," he said of their shared 2010 film. "I think the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends."

It's certainly worked out for the duo. Not only did they go to tie the knot in September 2012, but they have since welcomed three children together.

The pair share daughters James and Inez — born in 2015 and 2016, respectively — and a third daughter, born in the summer of 2019. Us Weekly broke the news of baby No. 3’s arrival in October 2019.

Nearly a year later, Taylor Swift released "Betty" on her Folklore album, sparking speculation that the couple named their youngest daughter Betty — she also sang about Inez and James on the track. In August 2020, the musician confirmed that she "named all the characters in this story after my friends' kids."

Ahead of becoming a family of five, Reynolds joked about the couple's relationship trajectory.

"One of the most common things in the world is making out, having a couple of drinks, and then doing it, and then having a baby. I was perfectly sober for this one, though. I gotta say," Reynolds told EW in his 2016 interview, after the pair’s second child was born. "It's amazing."

As for the Shallows star, she told Vogue in August 2014: "Everything we do in life, we do together. If I’m working on a movie, he helps me with my character; I do the same with him."

They also famously troll one another on social media: Lively razzes Reynolds about his parenting skills, while he teases her cooking abilities, ranking them beneath pal Jake Gyllenhaal's.

The novel coronavirus has made its rounds worldwide after first emerging in the Wuhan, Hubei, province in China in December 2019 — and today's biggest stars are not immune.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were among the first high-profile names to test positive for COVID-19. On March 11, 2020, the Academy Award winner shared the symptoms the couple experienced during their time in Australia, where Hanks was working on pre-production for Baz Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic.

"We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches," the Forrest Gump actor said of he and Wilson. "Rita had some chills that came and went."

On March 16, 2020, Us Weekly confirmed that Hanks and Wilson were released from the hospital. The pair, who have been married for 30 years, rented a home in Australia before flying back to the U.S.

Nearly a week after Hanks and Wilson's diagnosis was confirmed, Idris Elba announced that he contracted the virus as well. He revealed via Twitter on Monday that he decided to get tested after learning that an individual he was in contact with tested positive on March 13, 2020.

The day after speaking out, the English actor shared that Hanks' confession inspired him to speak about his own condition. "I'm really proud of Tom Hanks, who is also someone in the public eye who came out and said they have it and has been public about it," the Cats actor said in a Twitter livestream video. "I was really motivated by Tom's move there."

And at that time, they were saying it’s a new respiratory tract infection. It’s a virus that’s going around. We don’t really know what it is and what it does, but it attacks the respiratory system first and then travels to other parts of your body." She also recalled telling her manager, "Don't let me die in Bangkok," and he responded by telling her how scared she was making him. "The head of the ICU says, ‘You should be scared, sir. This is serious. We’re going to have to put her in a separate room.’ Because it was new. [This] was in December," Perez added. "I remember the doctor saying to me, ‘The mask that you have on, the mask that I have on, every time you go outside, every time you meet someone wear that mask — not just for you, but to protect them too.’ And I haven’t forgotten it. But anyway, we got shut down and it was tough because it was a good gig for a lot of hard-working people." Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock

Tamales! Midnight Mass! Eva Longoria Shares Her Holiday Traditions

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 11:49 AM PST

Christmas pajamas, baking sweet treats and decorating trees with family … oh my! There is no right — or wrong — way to get into the holiday spirit, and many celebrities have shared their favorite traditions during the special season.

Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland spent their first Christmas together as an engaged couple in 2019. Just one year before, the Bachelor in Paradise bartender told Us Weekly exclusively what Christmas tradition they were starting together.

"Our only tradition — because we're so new, like we've just finished a year dating — for Christmas we wear onesies, which is what everyone does," the former Bachelorette contestant told Us in November 2018. "It's fun because you're hungover on Christmas Day and it's comfy."

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos get to spend Christmas together alongside their three children: Michael, Lola and Joaquin. Every year, the All My Children alums have their kids pose for a Christmas card. The bunch also traditionally attend mass on Christmas Eve.

For the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost revealed how her family has adjusted their celebrations by attending mass via Zoom and making dinner at home. "I will make the feast of the singular fish — the feast of the mollusk. I'm not a chef, but I can make a delicious linguine and clam," she told SheKnows for its December 2020 digital issue.

Ripa will additionally bake her grandmother's Spritz cookies during the holiday season. "I used to labor under this belief that my children would join me and this would be such a family event and everybody would love doing it … and I think the kids maybe twice made cookies with me and the rest of the time they could not be bothered," she explained to the publication. "So it's really just something I do."

Kate Hudson, meanwhile, shared what she enjoys most about cherishing the extra time she gets with loved ones. "I love a party and I love the tradition of Christmas, and I'm Jewish, so I don't know how that worked out," she said in a 2016 blog post for her Fabletics brand. "I think I just love gathering people together and seeing people happy. It's the time where everybody needs to gather, do a big group hug and enjoy the festivities. We're really celebrating life in those moments."

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress continued, "I look forward to the holiday season because it's a time that I get to spend with my family that's uninterrupted. And it's filled with traditions that make me feel comfortable and cozy. It's just this beautiful, special time of year. The older you get, the more you realize that you want to prolong those moments for as long as you can, probably because I love my family so much, so I just want to, like, soak it all up."

Whether it's jet-setting to a tropical island or staying home, scroll down to see what makes your favorite star the merriest during the best time of the year.

Eva Longoria
“I'm Mexican. I'm a Texican. We celebrate on the 24th,” the Let’s Get married actress exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2021. “We don't really do the Christmas morning, like, wait [for] Santa. Somehow Santa came at 2:00 p.m. and here are all the presents.” The Desperate Housewives alum continued: “We do the huge meal and presents and all of that the night of the 24th. We usually go to mass at midnight. That’s tradition.” She added that tamales are a must for the holiday season in her family, joking, they are packed up in a “Ralph’s plastic bag” and must be handed out evenly or becomes a “war” between the aunts. “You have to count out the tamales,” Longoria said. Miley Cyrus
The “Midnight Sky” singer revealed the one tradition she shares with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, each year. “My favorite thing to do when I go home is we go and we throw the ball around outside on my dad’s farm,” she said on Good Morning Football in December 2020. “Some of my greatest memories are playing football with my dad.”  Rob Latour/Shutterstock
Reese Witherspoon
The Little Fires Everywhere alum revealed she loves making gingerbread houses. “One of my favorite things about this time of year is decorating gingerbread houses with my kids,” she wrote via Instagram in December 2020. “Well... ok... we mostly just eat the candy. 🍬 🤪 .” Courtesy Reese Witherspoon/Instagram
Carrie Underwood
“I enjoy decorating with my oldest son, Isaiah. He loves helping and he loves doing the tree,” she told Parade in December 2020. “I put out some things while he was away at school and he came home and he was like, ‘You decorated without me,’ and I was like, ‘I just got the stuff that was, like, bigger and you wouldn’t have any fun doing this anyway because I wasn’t decorating a tree.’ But we enjoy doing that.” The “Cry Pretty” singer continued, “He loves helping me in the kitchen and making cookies. His great-grandmother passed away not too, too long ago and we have her ginger cookies that she would always make. We have that recipe and we do that and talk about her, and just things like that are really, really sweet.”  Rob Latour/Shutterstock
Kristin Chenoweth
“My mom was big into ceramics when I was growing up. She made this beautiful Christmas ceramic tree, and on each point is a candle. … We would light a candle and say what we were most thankful for,” the Holidate actress told Us in November 2020. “That tradition kind of got a little lost as I became an adult and began to work all the time. Though I don’t have a ceramic Christmas tree — it’s probably in my parents’ attic — because we know I’m on the go, they come to me a lot. When I’m done working this year, I will get to come home to Oklahoma and be with them for the first time in a long time.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Laura Dern and Courteney Cox
The Big Little Lies alum and former Friends star celebrate the holidays together. They commemorated their 14th Christmas Eve with one another in 2019. “I love this family and our Christmas Eve tradition. Some things never change...much. 🎄♥️🎄 #family,” Cox captioned a pic of the A-listers with their children. Courtesy Courteney Cox/Instagram
Alicia Silverstone
The Clueless actress likes to stay connected to her Jewish upbringing and celebrates Hanukkah alongside her son, Bear. “Hanukkah usually entails making latkes together, playing dreidel, celebrating with loved ones, lighting the menorah, and giving some treats/gifts,” she told VegNews in December 2019. “Vegan gelt, rescued farm animal sponsorship, and an admit-one ticket to Crossroads Kitchen were Hanukkah gifts given to Bear last year.” Broadimage/Shutterstock
Frankie Grande
The dancer and YouTuber star, who is Ariana Grande’s brother, revealed his family’s favorite Christmas tradition involves presents. “Opening presents at midnight on Christmas Eve — midnight! As soon as it turns to Christmas Day, we’re opening those gifts,” he told Seventeen in 2018. “We sleep until like 5 p.m. We’re up until like four or five am, though.” Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock
Kate Hudson
“Every year, Santa comes and leaves presents for the kids out in the open. Sometimes Santa likes to wrap a couple of them but usually, he leaves them open so the kids can see what they are,” she said in a blog post for her Fabletics website in 2016. “The first thing we all do is look in our stockings and look at what Santa’s been noticing about our year. Santa is very clever, he’s very funny so he likes to give the adults very funny presents! And we usually leave Santa something every year.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Gwyneth Paltrow
“I do a lot of the cooking before Christmas but then I usually spend a lot of Christmas cooking too,” she told the Daily Mail’s Femail vertical in 2013. “All the smells, all of the mulled wine, all of the trimmings for the turkey. We like to have all the family around. A very traditional Christmas.” The Goop founder continued, “My kids are very involved in the kitchen with me, especially my son [Moses]. He loves to cook and he’s very engaged when we do it — he has a lot of patience for it, it’s very cute. He helps me measure and he cracks eggs perfectly, he’s very good.”   Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Gaten Matarazzo
“My family has always done a secret Santa with all of the grandkids. There are 10 of us so it’s always fun getting to see which one of your cousins you’re gonna get. Also it helps not having to get gifts for nine other people,” the Stranger Things actor told Us. Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Brandy
“We always decorated when we were kids, but we never had nice decorations. We didn’t have the matching lights,” the singer told Us. “I wanted to take that tradition and as I got older decorate my own home and my home is the place we all come together. I have the nice tree and the ornaments that match and the lights and stuff now. I just love the holidays, which is the best.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Anthony Anderson
“When we have functions, or the holidays come around everyone comes to my house. I will have between 30 and 40 family members for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s me and my cousin. My cousin is a professional chef. He went to culinary school. I didn’t. So he comes by and he’s my sous-chef, his name is Christopher,” the Black-ish star explained to Us. “And he’ll make the sauces because that’s something that I have yet to perfect. He’ll make the sauces and I’ll do all of the other things and he’ll help me along the way.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Vanessa and Nick Lachey
“One of our favorite family traditions is the day after Thanksgiving, every year, we decorate for Christmas since Nick and I started dating 12 years ago,” Vanessa dished on their long-standing tradition. “It was just me and him putting up the tree and drinking white Russians.” The Top Chef Jr. cohost went on to note that the now family of five’s new favorite thing to do at Christmas time “might be Christmas Eve brunch because it's [our youngest son] Phoenix's birthday.” That night, the couple bond while they wrap Christmas presents every year. “Christmas Eve it's just me and Nick assembling all the last-minute things. We can’t assemble a lot and leave it in the house because our kids will find it. So we stuff boxes everywhere and we hide them and then Christmas Eve it’s an all-nighter. We’re usually up really late but we have a glass of wine and we have Christmas carols on while assembling things so it’s a great time for us to bond,” she told Us. Jason Merritt/Getty Images
Wendi McLendon-Covey
“What I like to do is decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. And my husband [Greg Covey] knows this so he doesn’t even have to be asked. He just goes to the storage space and gets out all the decorations. And last year — because he is such a prince — he hung the lights without me even being there. Now that is love,” the Goldbergs actress told Us. “He knows he’s going to have to do it sooner or later so he might as well do it. So we do that. And while I decorate the tree I watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock
Lindsey Vonn
“My tradition that I have is my brother, Reed, usually cooks. He thinks he’s a professional chef, which he definitely is not. But we like to let him believe that! And we always have so much fun in the kitchen,” the Olympic gold medalist told Us. Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Candace Cameron Bure
The Fuller House star told Us, “Christmas morning when my kids were little, it was the same way my parents did for us, where it was, like, if you wake up before us, you can't come out to the living room. You have to wait until I turn the Christmas music on and you smell the coffee.”  MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Jane Seymour
“I invite all the exes and the wives and the ex-wives and the children for Thanksgiving. I’m calling it ‘Family-giving.’ It’s also close friends with their families, who we consider family. It will be wonderful. It will be a huge feast with at least 40 people!” the actress told Us.  Joel Ryan/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Joey Fatone
The former boy bander loves to watch holiday films with his kids on Christmas, and even told Us his favorites. “Oh, the staple, 100 percent across the board is Elf. You've got to watch Elf. But The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, obviously the Jim Carrey one, that's another staple.”  Broadimage/Shutterstock
Kristin Cavallari
When it comes to Christmas in the Very Cavallari star’s household, it’s all about keeping tradition alive. “My dad always made homemade meatballs and sauce on Christmas Eve, so I've kept that up with our family,” the E! personality told Us. Her and husband Jay Cutler have also continued to keep their three kids on their toes, just like Cavallari’s parents did when she was growing up. “When I was little, my parents had the elves come a week before Christmas and if we were good, we got a little something in our stocking. If we were bad, we got coal,” The Hills alum shared.  WWD/Shutterstock
Josh Radnor
The man formerly known as Ted Mosby likes to spend New Year’s Eve quietly meditating, he told Us. “I’ve been having very low key New Year’s for the last couple of years. I haven’t been to big parties and stuff,” the Liberal Arts actor said. “But I’ve gotten together with some friends, and for the last couple of years, I’ve meditated from 11:45 to 12:15.” Radnor added that it’s fun to close out one year and enter another in a meditative state.  Omar Vega/JanuaryImages/Shutterstock
Teddi Mellencamp
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is all about the photo op on Christmas. “Our biggest holiday tradition is I get my whole extended family, we do Christmas PJs. And then I make everybody take photos,” the mom of two told Us. “They’re like, ‘No!’ I make my dad, my sister and my brothers who are like 6 feet-3 inches tall [do it]. I’m like, ‘Yep! Everybody is going to be Snoopy this year!’” Broadimage/Shutterstock
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos
The TV couple has welcomed a new tradition into their home recently, courtesy of Ripa’s Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost. “Ryan Seacrest's mom, Connie, makes these sausage balls Christmas morning,” the Hope & Faith alum told Us. “It's Bisquick and sausage and cheddar cheese and you bake it in the oven. And now it is the No. 1 most requested thing in our house. It surpassed the cookies. It surpassed everything else.” Etienne Laurent/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock
Mindy Kaling
“We always read The Night Before Christmas. Last year my daughter was too little and didn't care,” the Late Night star told Us. “But this year I think she'll be able to get it more. And I've been talking it up a little bit. So we'll probably do that. And I always watch You've Got Mail on Christmas because it's one of my favorite movies. She's a little too little to enjoy that. But I would like, when she gets older, to make her watch that with me.” Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Christina Anstead
“We always host Christmas Eve parties. We have family over, we have dinner, and then Christmas morning the grandparents come over and watch the kids open presents,” the Flip or Flop star told Us. “We have coffee and make pancakes. We keep it pretty simple for Christmas.” Stewart Cook/Shutterstock
Vanna White
The Wheel of Fortune hostess revealed what’s most important to her during the holiday season. “It's family time for me. I always have my family with me and we just have wonderful moments together,” she told Us. “Santa still comes to my children and their adult kids. They're adults now, so we still have a good time.” Jim Smeal/Shutterstock
Elizabeth Chambers
Speaking to Us of her holiday traditions with ex-husband Armie Hammer, the actress said, “We always cut down a Christmas tree in Colorado at the forest outside of my parents' house in Denver. We always do that every year after Thanksgiving. It's good. They want us to do it. It’s good for forestry. It's not like we’re going poaching Christmas trees. And then we always go to the bakeries right before the holidays because it's the busiest time, obviously, Thanksgiving and Christmas. And then go to Denver where hopefully we'll have a white Christmas this year.” Chelsea Lauren/WWD/Shutterstock
Ashley Greene
The Twilight actress says she and husband Paul Khoury don’t follow long-standing traditions, but instead are creating them actively. “So, Paul's parents, my husband’s parents, are going to come out and stay with us this Christmas. My parents are in Australia. They were like, ‘See you later.’ But we're kind of coming up with stuff. I want to do a baking contest at our house, like a cookie baking contest. So that's going to be one of the things we will do this year,” she told Us. Rob Latour/Shutterstock
Jonathan Groff
Uncle Jonathan reporting for duty! “My brother has two little girls that are 2 and 4, and so the new tradition is going over to my brother's house on Christmas morning and watching them open up gifts,” the Mindhunter star said. “And that’s, like, so much more fun than … As we got to be adults and we were exchanging gifts, it felt silly. And now that its about the two little girls, Christmas makes sense again.” Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock
Steve Harvey
“Every year I have my sons come to the house, just like my father did when he was living with my brothers — we'd come over every Christmas morning,” the Family Feud host told Us. “We have fried oysters, we have [Sister] Schubert's rolls, and we have eggnog. That's it. My sons come over every Christmas morning and that happens. That doesn't seem like a great combination to a lot of people, but it is to me. I like oysters, I like [Sister] Schubert's rolls, and I like eggnog. Put them on the same plate, I'm happy.” Jim Smeal/Shutterstock
Kate Mara
“I spend every Christmas in New York, where I grew up, with my whole family,” the House of Cards alum told Us. “That is something that is important. Wherever we all are in the world, we all fly home. Even with a 6-month old baby, it is totally worth it. Our traditions are … we stay at home in our pajamas and watch a lot of movies. That has never really changed.” Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Jonathan Bennett
The holidays are a big deal in the Mean Girls star’s family … but that doesn’t mean every tradition is followed. “The traditions in my family were a little too crazy because my family was a little too crazy — and that's why I love being in Hallmark movies,” Bennett told Us, referring to his film Christmas Made to Order. “It gives you this fantasy of what a perfect family is and you get to escape into that.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock
Melissa Joan Hart
“My favorite one — which my parents did when we were kids that we now do with our children — which is the morning of Christmas, sitting at the top of the stairs, waiting for mom and dad to go downstairs and check to make sure Santa came and he left,” the Sabrina the Teenage Witch alum told Us. “It goes back to, I think, when my mom fell asleep too early and Santa hadn't come, we had to go back to bed! It's the best thing ever. Sitting on top of the stairs, the anticipation, the gathering, that 30 second to a minute is the best anticipation of your entire life. You'll never get that back. It's the highlight. They have to wait until mom and dad check. That gives me time to set up the camera, turn on the lights, light the fire.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Lacey Chabert
The Part of Five alum loves a classic and cozy holiday. “Every Christmas Eve we all get together at my parents' house for a White Elephant-style party,” she told Us. “You have to wear your pajamas and we exchange these silly gifts and it ends up being this fun fight over the best one.” AFF-USA/Shutterstock
Jenna Dewan
The former World of Dance host might not have traditions at the moment, but she has plenty she’d like to establish for her and ex Channing Tatum’s daughter, Everly. “I’ve had a dream since I was a kid of a ton of kids running around, and fun, and family around a Christmas tree, and lots of music and joy and food … and I try to emulate that every year. I’d love [Everly] to emulate the importance of family around the holidays,” she told Us. Nina Prommer/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock
Soleil Moon Frye
“We all come together on Christmas Eve and we do extended family and our family of friends all come over and we cook like crazy for days and days and days,” the former Punky Brewster star told Us. “Then Christmas Eve, we do our annual Christmas Eve gathering where everyone comes over and we sing ‘The 12 [Days] of Christmas’ and that’s such a blast. Everybody is singing, and then we do our Secret Santa exchange and it’s incredible, and we all are laughing like crazy and sometimes people are stealing gifts from each other and it’s wild. It’s crazy.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Lesley Ann Warren
The Victor/Victoria star has traditions that date back nearly three decades! “I have a tree that I call my nutcracker tree because it’s big and it’s filled with children’s toys and beautiful ornaments that I’ve collected for 30 years,” she told Us.  Mediapunch/Shutterstock
Nigel Lythgoe
“My favorite holiday tradition is going to my friend's house. He's a songwriter,” the So You Think You Can Dance judge told Us. “He and his wife put on a Christmas Eve party and we go there, we sing carols, we sing old ’60s songs and we have a jolly good time. And I'm looking forward to that and then going away.” Sara Jaye Weiss/Shutterstock

“I think mainly just baking and cooking, like, traditional things,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star gushed to Us. “I love doing that with my kids and the family, whether it’s, like, pumpkin bread or Christmas cookies, we do it all! We just love that.” Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images for DailyMail.com
Kyle MacLachlan
“We have a tradition where we split our holidays. So Thanksgiving we spend in Miami. We were just there, visiting with [my wife Desiree Grubeher’s] father who is still alive,” the Twin Peaks actor told Us. “And then we do a Christmas visit up to see my family, everybody's in the Seattle area. I go to visit my brothers and we laugh till our stomachs ache on jokes that my wife doesn't think are very funny but of course we think are hilarious.” Eric Catarina/Getty Images
Erika Jayne
“You know, I like to spend it with my family and friends,” the singer told Us. "We’re getting ready to go back out on the road, so it’s kind of like, you know, performing before the holidays seems to be a tradition these last few years.”  Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic
Brooke Shields
“The whole Thanksgiving with my step-mom and all my sisters,” the That 70’s Show alum told Us of getting her favorite celebrations started early. “And then everybody from Thanksgiving comes to my house mid-December for a Christmas dinner. I move furniture and I feed all of them and we all spend time at my house and we all make toasts and this year we picked each other out of a hat so instead of getting presents for everybody we each got one person. It was actually a good thing so that's my favorite, mid-December we get to all be together.” Charles Sykes/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images
Kristin Cavallari
The Laguna Beach alum dished on carrying on a tradition from her childhood. “Growing up, we always did that the elves would come a week before Christmas every day before Christmas and if you were good, they'd leave a little something in your stocking and if you were bad, you got coal,” she gushed. “So I've kept up that tradition with my kids and it's honestly just as a parent, it's a good way to keep your kids in line and have them be on their best behavior, so yeah. That's something fun that we always do. And then I usually —  my dad has a killer recipe for homemade meatballs and sauce and stuff — so I've been doing that on Christmas Eve.” Christopher Polk/Getty Images
Ali Wentworth
“The best one is it's a cliche, but it's stockings,” the Go Ask Ali author revealed of her simple pleasure. “I have a 16-year-old and they still want to open stockings.” Charles Sykes/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images
Tatyana Ali
The Fresh Prince alum revealed that one of her fondest traditions is one that was created by her mom years ago when they moved west for her role on the hit series. “We do matching pajamas on Christmas Eve,” Ali told Us. “And whoever happens to be there on Christmas Eve also gets a pair of matching pajamas. It doesn't matter your age. It's kind of mandatory. And it's fun. It's fun.” Amy Graves/Getty Images for The Art of Elysium
Christy Carlson Romano
“People like to get artificial trees but I am from the east coast and so I really love to make the tradition of every year getting a real tree. And I kind of can’t be broken away from getting the real tree even though it’s a huge inconvenience and there’s always the water that leaks and you have to bag it up and put it through the house and you have a million pine needles,” the Even Stevens alum joked to Us of her messy tradition. “But there’s just something so magical about the smell of a real tree and something that’s such a throwback to my childhood so I have to get the real tree every year.” Image Group LA/Disney Channel Via Getty Images
Kurt Russell
With one of the most famous families in Hollywood, there’s no doubt Kurt Russell will be surrounded by love during the holidays. “Well, Christmas is the biggest one and we always, we always trim the tree on Christmas Eve during the day and into the night,” the Christmas Chronicles actor, who has been with Goldie Hawn since the late '70s, told Us. “And we have a big meal and then the kids put their pajamas on and they hang up their stockings and we got the fire going and then when it gets dark we always choose someone to read T’was the Night Before Christmas and generally after that the kids start getting nervous because we've been tracking Santa Claus, generally that time he's starting to work his way into the end of the Rockies perhaps. And then all of a sudden you might hear sleigh bells and if you hear sleigh bells, the pandemonium sets in.” Michael Kovac/Getty Images for Netflix
Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland
Despite only being together for a year, the Bachelor in Paradise star gushed over their sweet newly-minted tradition. “I come from a big family, she’s really close with her family, so we’re doing like family Thanksgiving in Los Angeles and family Christmas in L.A. and then we’ll do something fun for New Year’s,” Adams told Us. “Our only tradition — because we’re so new, like we’ve just finished a year dating — for Christmas we wear onesies, which is what everyone does. It’s fun because you’re hungover on Christmas day and it’s comfy.” JB Lacroix/WireImage
JC Chasez
“Always family,” the former boybander said. “My grandfather always reads from the Bible on Christmas Eve, and we all do a bit of caroling as well together as a family.” Jason LaVeris/Getty Images
Selena Gomez
"Every year we do a white elephant and usually those are hilarious gifts. It just consists of adults playing with dumb toys and bunch of kids being happy, and a lot of good food," the singer told Entertainment Tonight in December 2021. "I’m really looking forward to being with my family. It’s been a busy year for me, so I’m excited."   Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock

‘Sex Lives of College Girls’ Star Pauline Is Timothee Chalamet’s Big Sister

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 11:48 AM PST

Maybe they're born with it! They say that lightning never strikes the same place twice, but the opposite seems to be true for celebrity siblings. Famous brothers and sisters, such as Kate and Oliver Hudson, Cara and Poppy Delevingne and the Baldwin brothers appear to have star power running in their genes.

Born to the same parents, these relatives not only followed similar life paths, pursuing careers in acting, music, sports and reality TV, but made names for themselves apart from their famous family members.

Things can get literally competitive for some — Serena Williams, for instance, has been forced to compete against big sis Venus for a Grand Slam title; others, like Kate and Rooney Mara and Dakota and Elle Fanning, have gone against one another for the same part.

They can also get ugly: Spencer and Stephanie Pratt have butted heads more than a few times, as have Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga.

Through it all, however, these family members seem to have each other's backs when it matters most.

Scroll through to learn more about some of Us Weekly‘s favorite star siblings!

Timothee and Pauline Chalamet
The siblings — who are four years apart — grew up in New York and both speak French. They have been acting since kids with Timothèe rising to fame after starring in as Elio in 2017’s Call Me By Your Name, which earned him an Oscar nomination. His star continued to rise with roles in Lady Bird, Little Women, Dune and Don’t Look Up. His older sister, Pauline, for her part, was on One Life to Live as a child, but it wasn’t until she played Joanne in The King of Staten Island in 2020 that she started to get recognized. After landing the role of Kimberly on HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, which premiered in 2021, she became an even bigger star. Shutterstock
Peyton and Eli Manning
Though many think otherwise, former NFL player siblings Eli and Peyton Manning aren’t twins. Peyton is actually five years older! As the sons of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning, Peyton and Eli grew up with football in their blood. Throughout their individual careers, the brothers have been there for each other through thick and thin — even if it didn’t always look like it from the outside. In 2016, Eli made headlines when his bummed-out expression went viral after Peyton won the 50th annual Super Bowl. While the rest of the Manning family went wild, the little brother remained stoic. “Eli and I have always supported each other,” Peyton explained during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in February 2016. “I think Eli is analyzing the game and the end of the game, kind of like how I would as if he was playing it. And so he was just as happy.” Still, sibling rivalry definitely occurred before Peyton’s March 2016 retirement from the sport (Eli followed in his footsteps in January 2020). “It’s funny. When I saw that clip … I’ve seen that look before,” the Super Bowl champion continued. “I recognized it. In other big moments in my life he’s had that expression.” Dave Allocca/Starpix/Shutterstock
Cole and Dylan Sprouse
The Sprouse twins gained fame after appearing on Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, beginning at the age of 11, which ran for three seasons from 2005 to 2008. The two starred in the TV spinoff, The Suite Life on Deck from 2008 to 2011, together and then went to college at NYU with one another. After their break from acting, the brothers both returned to the profession, with Cole landing a role on The CW’s Riverdale and Dylan appearing in films like After We Collided. They have yet to act alongside one another since their childhood, but haven’t ruled it out entirely. “I mean we’re very serious. It’s more likely that I will write something for us to work in together, rather than someone approach us,” Dylan told Us exclusively in February 2020. “Twin movies are never good! That’s just the universal truth I think the universe has given to us, and so if we can find the right thing then, yeah.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Finneas O'Connell and Billie Eilish
Eilish rose to fame in 2019 with the release of her song, “Bad Guy,” but she began putting out songs online in 2016. In February 2020, she became a five-time Grammy winner at the age of 18. She couldn’t, however, have done it without her big brother, O’Connell, who is an actor like the duo’s parents and musician. Many of Eilish’s hits were cowritten by her brother. “We like making music together,” O’Connell told The Washington Post in January 2020. “[Billie] doesn’t like going to some big studio and having them pretend to be a therapist for a couple hours. So by default, we always make the good stuff together.” JM Enternational/Shutterstock
Casey and Ben Affleck
The brothers, who both began their careers as child stars and rose to fame with big blockbusters, have they’ve always been close. “We kind of only had each other growing up,” Casey told Us exclusively in June 2019. “My dad wasn’t around and my mom worked really early mornings until the evening, so we kind of were together in childhood and shared all that time and all those experiences.” Casey is best known for his roles in Good Will Hunting, Ocean’s Eleven (and its sequels), and Manchester by the Sea, which won him an Academy Award in 2017. Big brother Ben’s acting highlights include Armageddon, Pearl Harbor and Gone Girl. He is also a proven writer and producer winning Oscars for Good Will Hunting, which he cowrote with longtime friend Matt Damon and Argo, which he produced. Eric Charbonneau/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Jenna and Barbara Bush
Before Malia and Sasha Obama, there was Jenna and Barbara Bush. The twins, who are daughters to President George W. Bush and granddaughters to the late President George H.W. Bush, have been in the limelight from a young age thanks to their political family. “She’s always made me feel more courageous,” Jenna wrote via Instagram in November 2019, about her twin. “And funny. No one laughs at my jokes like she does.” Since their father left the White House, Jenna became a journalist, author and TV host on Today With Hoda & Jenna. Barbara has focused on being an activist, cofounding Global Health Corps non-profit and working with other organizations. The sisters have also written a book together, 2017’s Sisters First, and Jenna has teamed up with their mom, Laura Bush, to write two children’s books. Plus, she wrote 2020’s Everything Beautiful in Its Time. Charles Sykes/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Beau and Jeff Bridges
The iconic actors come from an acting family led by their father Lloyd Bridges. Both Beau and Jeff appeared on their father’s hit series Sea Hunt early on in their careers (during the 1960s) before breaking out on their own. “It’s not a competition,” Jeff said at the “Beau and Jeff: A Tale of Two Bridges” event in 2014 put on by The Academy. “It’s like we’re on the same team.” Beau’s career highlights include The Fabulous Baker Boys (Jeff was also in this film), and Charlotte’s Web, as well as TV’s Stargate SG-1, Masters of Sex and Bloodline. His younger brother’s acting accomplishments are just as impressive with The Big Lebowski, True Grit, The Giver and Crazy Heart, which won him an Academy Award in 2009. John and Joan Cusack
Not only have John and Joan had successful solo acting careers for four decades and counting, but the brother and sister duo from Illinois have often appeared on screen together. The two can be seen together in 1983’s Class, 1984’s Sixteen Candles, 2000’s High Fidelity, and 2008’s War, Inc. among other films over the years. “My brother does not let me look bad,” Joan told SheKnows in 2008. “I believe in John and his passion.” The dynamic duo’s other three siblings, Ann, Susie and Bill, are also actors. Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas
Nick, Joe and Kevin shot to fame together as pop group the Jonas Brothers in 2005 thanks to their heavy rotation on the Disney channel. They reunited in February 2019 after taking a six-year hiatus, and debuted a brand new single called “Sucker,” the video for which featured their respective significant others — Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas.  Kevin Mazur/Getty Images
Prince William and Prince Harry
Growing up as the privileged sons of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, William and Harry tried their best to live their lives as average little boys. The duo "enjoyed getting rough," former royal housekeeper Wendy Barry told Us in March 2011 Another favorite pastime of the young princes? Tormenting the staff with water pistols. Khloé, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian
First making a splash on the E! network in 2007 with their reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the trio have turned themselves into bonafide business moguls, with a lifestyle site, a denim line, books, spinoff shows and a makeup line to their names. Kendall and Kylie Jenner
The daughters of Caitlyn and Kris Jenner, reality stars Kendall and Kylie, have been inseparable since childhood. "She was obsessed with me," Kendall, two years older than her sister, told Marie Claire Mexico in March 2014. "She followed me everywhere." Kylie agreed: "If she got up in the middle of the night, I got up of the middle of the night. I literally couldn't leave her side. We even matched everything we wore." The Jenners are also business partners: The duo has their own fashion line Kendall x Kylie, and hinted in March 2019 that they may be launching a makeup collection together. Ariana and Frankie Grande
Frankie may be the songstress’ older brother, but he looks up to the “Breathin’” singer in many ways, as he told Us in February 2019. “She’s my sister and she’s my best friend,” the Big Brother alum said at the time. “You feel like you know everything about each other, but I guess what I learned is just how fearless she is. … Fearless. That’s awesome. Like this beautiful thing where it’s like, ‘I’m fearless in this moment.'” Kevin Mazur/WireImage/Getty Images
Duchess Kate and Pippa Middleton
"It is a bit startling to achieve global recognition before the age of 30 on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom," Pippa wrote of her connection to the throne via Kate in her book Celebrate. "One day I might be able to make sense of this. In the meantime I think it's fair to say that it has its upside and its downside."  Fame aside, the Middleton sisters still share an unbreakable bond: Both women were even pregnant at the same time in 2018!  Indigo/Getty Images
Miley, Brandon, Noah and Trace Cyrus
All of Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus’ children seem to have larger-than-life personalities: Miley, who starred as Hannah Montana in her early years, has a booming career as a pop star, which sister Noah is also working toward. Brother Trace prefers the punk rock scene, operating as the frontman for pop punk band Metro Station, while sister Brandi, who also sings, is better known for her other endeavors: The Cyrus vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer cohost is an actress, DJ and podcast cohost alongside Wells Adams.  Brothers Christopher and Braison, meanwhile, have largely stayed out of the limelight.  Christopher Polk/MTV1617/Getty Images
Cara and Poppy Delevingne
The English sisters, both models and actresses, have nothing but love for each other. "I am not jealous of her, unfortunately for you," Poppy told Evening Standard of her youngest sister in May 2017. (The girls also have an older sister named Chloe.) "I always knew she was going to be something special, since she was a child. She knew the words to every song, the routine to every dance. She was a little actress, we’d bring her out to do a performance after lunch and she was just the apple of all of our eyes."  Todd Williamson/Getty Images
Brandon and Brody Jenner
Caitlyn Jenner’s sons with Linda Thompson may not be *quite* as famous as their half-sisters, the Kardashians and the Jenners, but they've definitely had more than their 15 minutes of fame. After starring together in 2005’s The Princes of Malibu, Brody became a regular fixture on The Hills. Both men have also appeared in dad Caitlyn’s show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.  Earl Gibson III/Getty Images
Stephanie and Spencer Pratt
The Pratts, who costarred on both The Hills and The Hills: New Beginnings together, aren’t exactly BFFs — quite the opposite, in fact. Stephanie told Wells Adams on an April 8 episode of her “Pratt Cast” podcast that her sibling was “dead” to her. “The behavior that I’ve seen … I’m done. This is why I moved to London. They are the most toxic people I’ve ever met. They are Bonnie and Clyde till they die.”  Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic/Getty Images
Olivia Jade and Bella Giannulli
The social media influencer and the Southern University of California student shot to fame after their mother and father, Full House alum Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, were indicted in a nationwide college scandal for allegedly paying $500,000 to have them depicted as recruits to the school’s crew team to ensure their entrance.  Gabriel Olsen/Getty Images
Alec, Daniel, Stephen and William Baldwin
All four of the Baldwin brothers are involved in the film industry. Eldest son Alec is the most well-known, with roles in Beetlejuice, The Aviator, The Departed and Saturday Night Live, to name a few, but all are recognizable: Daniel has starred in countless roles, including Mullholland Falls and The Neighborhood, while Stephen is known for his stints on reality TV, including Celebrity Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother. Kate and Oliver Hudson
Although the actors' parents are Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, they were mainly raised by Hawn and her life partner, Kurt Russell. Oliver revealed to Us in November 2018 that his role as the “cool uncle” to his little sister’s brood can “sometimes” get him in trouble, but that it’s “worth the risk," he explained. "You need an uncle that’s gonna let them do things. That’s the point of being a cool uncle!” Paul Zimmerman/WireImage
Serena and Venus Williams
Despite their competitive nature — Serena beat out her sister at the January 2017 Australia Open to win her 23d Grand Slam title — these two remain in each other’s corners. Venus sent a message to the tennis champ after she lost at Wimbeldon to Garbiñe Muguruza, telling her little sis, “I miss you. I tried my best to do the same things you do, but I think there will be other opportunities.” She also gushed about the arrival of her niece, Alexis Olympia, to reporters in September 2017, saying, “I’m super excited. Words can’t describe.” Julian Finney/Getty Images

Malia became a student at Harvard University in August 2017, while Sasha is reportedly considering the University of Michigan.  Ron Sachs-Pool/Getty Images
The Braxtons
Like the Jacksons, the Braxton family began their careers as a musical quintet consisting of Toni, Tamar, Trina, Towanda and Traci. Though they were unsuccessful commercially, their gig led to a solo career for Toni, who went on to sell 15 million copies of her debut album, Secrets. They got their own show, Braxton Family Values, on WeTv in 2011. Traci talked about the family’s values to Us in August 2018: "[The public] doesn’t think [our family does] stick together. Everybody thinks that we hate on each other. My parents did not believe in that. Especially trying to play one sibling against the other. We [weren’t] raised that way. It’s all love. Every family go through some spats. It doesn’t even matter if you’re not even the closest family. ... But somehow, some way, you always mend it right back together.”  Earl Gibson III/Getty Images
Dakota and Elle Fanning
The sisters, born five years apart, are prolific models and actresses with starring roles in both indie and box office hits, including Ocean’s 8, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Beguiled and Maleficent. She understands what it’s like and what you’re going through.” Pierre Suu/Getty Images
Benji and Joel Madden
The twins recorded five studio albums together as part of Good Charlotte, before moving onto to another joint project with The Madden Brothers in 2014. Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid
All three Hadid children followed in their mother Yolanda Hadid's footsteps in taking the modeling world by storm. In fact, all four family members starred in a video for Vogue in September 2018. One month prior, Gigi opened up about working in the same business as Bella to V magazine. “It’s very rare to have what Bella and I have in fashion, what you and Venus [Williams] have in tennis,” she told Serena Williams, who conducted the interview. “I feel very lucky to be able to have a piece of home in my work environment. We are each other’s biggest fans. It has been a huge joy of my life to watch my little sister flourish, and to help when I can!” Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Global Lyme Alliance
Presley and Kaia Gerber

Zooey and Emily Deschanel
"Emily's four years older, which is a very vulnerable amount of years,” Zooey confessed to Jimmy Kimmel in 2012. “Because when I was 3, she was 7, and she was already evil. She basically just used the plot of Invasion of the Body Snatchers to terrify me... made crazy faces at me and talked like Vickie from Small Wonder. She would make me cry and then my dad would come in and try to mediate, and then she would laugh." Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images
Luke and Owen Wilson
As part of the Wilson family of actors that also includes brother Andrew, Owen told Jay Leno he initially had trouble earning street cred in the industry. "You tell people you're making a movie and they go, 'Well, who's in it?' And you say, 'I'm in it and then, my brother's in it and my older brother's in it. And my friend's directing it.' Melissa and Joe [Gorga] reached out to Joe Giudice … and all four of them are on the best terms they've ever been on.” Heidi Gutman/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank/Getty Images

In April 2019, she supported her sibling after the pop star voluntarily checked herself into a facility for mental health treatment with a sweet throwback of Britney riding the bus home from school with her in their youth. “Yup, she rode the bus home with me after my first day of school, cuz she’s the fn best,” Jamie Lynn wrote, adding, “#WCW.” Kevin Mazur/WireImage

"Once again this year we plan to have two Christmas trees," the Party Pieces owner, 66, wrote via the company's Instagram page earlier this month. "One for the children to decorate and one which I do myself."

The England native is grandmother to Kate, 39, and Prince William's three children: Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3. Carole and husband, Michael Middleton, are also the grandparents of daughter Pippa Middleton's two little ones, Arthur, 3, and Grace, 9 months, whom she shares with husband James Matthews.

"My beloved treetop angel is looking a little worse for wear after years of service so it's time to invest in something new," Carole explained in her December post, before highlighting Party Pieces' light up gold star tree topper as an alternative. "[This] will bring an extra twinkle to proceedings."

The entrepreneur, who also shares son James Middleton with her husband, 72, previously gave fans a glimpse at her grandchildren's taste in holiday decorations by sharing a photo of funny Santa gnomes available for purchase.

"I'm going to need a few of these cheeky chaps this December, to hide around the house and make my grandchildren laugh," Carole wrote via the company's Instagram page last month.

The Cambridge family, for their part, kicked off the holiday season by sharing their annual Christmas card via social media on Friday, December 10.

"Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year's Christmas card," the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge captioned the snap.

In the photo, the family of five wore color-coordinated outfits with William, 39, Kate and George all in green while Charlotte and Louis chose blue ensembles.

In addition to their festive card reveal — and decorating a special tree with grandmother Carole — the royals are set to reunite with their extended family later this month after having a smaller Christmas celebration in 2020 amid COVID-19 restrictions.

"The Cambridges are spending Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham," a source exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday. "It's going to be a big family affair."

The insider added that George, Charlotte and Louis are "absolutely delighted" to see their great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in person once again.

Last year, the family's annual holiday plans were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The queen and her husband, Prince Philip, opted to celebrate Christmas "quietly" at Windsor Castle, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said in December 2020.

This holiday, however, the royals will return to their normal celebrations — but it will be the first without the Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away in April at the age of 99.

Despite many ups and downs over the past year, William and Kate are "looking forward to starting fresh in the New Year," the insider explained, noting that the couple will start "seeing a transition of responsibility" as they up their charity work and attend more events in the name of the crown.

In a TikTok video set to “Jingle Bell Rock,” the 23-year-old model wrote, "Unrealistic things I want for Christmas … for my parents to pay for my trauma therapy."

Rinna, 58, and Harry, 70, who also share 20-year-old daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin, have yet to publicly comment on Delilah's video. Us Weekly reached out to the Melrose Place alum's rep for comment.

Both daughters of the actors have been candid about their struggles over the years via social media and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Most recently, Delilah revealed she was hospitalized earlier this year after becoming dependent on Xanax.

"In the beginning of the year, I want to say February and March, is when I got my COVID-19 vaccine. … And after the second vaccine, I was sick for, like, 36 hours. I felt like my bones were breaking but, like, whatever. … That's when everything kind of started," she said via a 30-minute Instagram video in November. "I didn't realize that the vaccine would cause an autoimmune response in my body. … I started getting really sick, I started feeling like I had the flu. I was getting migraines, I was having panic attacks — it was like my body was in constant 'fight or flight' mode. It was horrible."

Delilah, who told her followers that she is not "anti-vaccine," sought help from a psychiatrist for panic attacks.

"My body got dependent on Xanax, No. 1, and No. 2, I overdosed. I didn't mean to at all. I overdosed on this one medication called Propranolol. I took Benadryl with it and, for some reason, I ended up in the hospital," she said, noting that she got treatment in Arizona. "My family and I are struggling to figure out, kind of, what to do. Mentally, I am not great today. I'm feeling hopeless … since the last treatment center didn't work out."

'Tis the Season! Kim K.'s Wild Holiday Decor Includes a Stocking for Kanye

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 10:16 AM PST

A very classy Christmas. Kim Kardashian showed off how she decked out her home for the holidays — and revealed a festive nod to her estranged husband, Kanye West.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, 41, gave her followers a tour of her fully decorated abode on Sunday, December 12, via the TikTok account she shares with daughter North, 8.

In two different videos set to Mariah Carey's rendition of the holiday classic "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)," Kardashian displayed her Elf on the Shelf, her elaborate glass ornaments and not one, but two trees.

However, fans were more interested in the stocking dedicated to West, 44, that was hung on the mantel.

Kardashian's subtle shout-out to the rapper comes three days after Us Weekly confirmed that the reality star filed to become legally single amid the duo’s divorce. In the court request, which was submitted on Friday, December 10, the Skims founder also asked to restore her last name.

"She is Kim Kardashian," a source told Us exclusively on Friday about the choice to remove West’s moniker from hers. "She has a business empire and brand, there isn't a lot to be read into it."

The Selfish author, who shares North, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, with the Grammy winner, filed for divorce in February after almost seven years of marriage.

In the wake of their split, the Yeezy designer has offered several public pleas for his estranged wife to keep their family together, most recently while performing with Drake at the Free Larry Hoover event in Los Angeles.

"I need you to run right back to me," he sang during the Amazon Prime livestream on Thursday, December 9. "More specifically, Kimberly."

West isn’t the only member of the family who got a surprise stocking. In a separate TikTok video on Sunday, North introduced her followers to her two lizards, Cheese and Bean, who also got their own seasonal socks.

North couldn’t help but throw a little shade at her mom when talking about her pets, who she said the KKW Beauty founder "hates" because she thinks "they have worms and they're disgusting."

Moving on. Armie Hammer has checked out of the rehabilitation facility he entered in May after he was accused of abuse and rape by multiple women.

“I can confirm that Mr. Hammer has left the treatment facility and is doing great,” a lawyer for the Call Me By Your Name star, 35, told Us Weekly on Monday, December 13, without specifying when the actor checked out.

The Golden Globe nominee entered a Florida rehab center on May 31 to undergo treatment for drug, alcohol and sex issues, according to a report at the time from Vanity Fair. An eyewitness saw Hammer’s estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers, drop him off at the Grand Cayman airport to leave the Cayman Islands, where he had been staying.

The Cupcake Wars alum, 39, and the Lone Ranger actor called it quits in July 2020 after 10 years of marriage. The duo share daughter Harper, 7, and son Ford, 4.

The controversy surrounding Hammer began in January when alleged text messages between him and several women surfaced online. The unverified missives detailed the actor’s disturbing fantasies, including rape and cannibalism.

Shortly after the alleged texts appeared, the Sorry to Bother You star dropped out of the film Shotgun Wedding, which also stars Jennifer Lopez.

"I'm not responding to these bulls—t claims, but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic," the California native told TMZ in January. "Lionsgate is supporting me in this, and I'm grateful to them for that."

The scandal continued when Hammer’s ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze claimed that he branded her during their relationship. A lawyer for the Mirror Mirror star vehemently denied the allegations in a statement to Us.

"These assertions about Mr. Hammer are patently untrue. Any interactions with this person, or any partner of his, were completely consensual in that they were fully discussed, agreed upon, and mutually participatory," the attorney said in January. "The stories being perpetuated in the media are a misguided attempt to present a one-sided narrative with the goal of tarnishing Mr. Hammer's reputation, and communications from the individuals involved prove that."

Two months later, a woman named Effie Angelova accused him of “violently” raping her in 2017. At the time, the Los Angeles Police Department told Us that it "initiated a sexual assault investigation" in February after being contacted by a lawyer “representing the female community member.”

Hammer, for his part, denied Angelova’s allegations through his lawyer. "With the truth on his side, Mr. Hammer welcomes the opportunity to set the record straight,” the attorney told Us in March. “From day one, Mr. Hammer has maintained that all of his interactions with Ms. Angelova — and every other sexual partner of his for that matter — have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.”

Gorgeous! Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s Relationship Timeline

Posted: 13 Dec 2021 09:27 AM PST

They're so gorgeous! Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have kept their romance relatively private since their relationship began, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of milestones to look back on.

Swift's relationship with the U.K. native was made public in May 2017. One year later, a source told Us Weekly exclusively that the "Cardigan" singer believes that Alywn is The One.

"She wants to get engaged to him," the insider said. "She just doesn't feel as though she has to impress anyone at this point."

A separate source revealed to Us in early 2020 that the lovebirds have "talked about their future and marriage," but they "don't have a set deadline in place." The insider added that Swift "considers Joe one of the only safe constants in her life" and that "he has always been a huge support and stuck by her."

The Grammy winner has often spoken about her decision to keep her romance under wraps. In a Rolling Stone interview with Paul McCartney published in November 2020, she opened up about the desire to create normalcy in her relationship.

"I, oftentimes, in my anxieties, can control how I am as a person and how normal I act and rationalize things, but I cannot control if there are 20 photographers outside in the bushes and what they do and if they follow our car and if they interrupt our lives," she explained. "I can't control if there's going to be a fake weird headline about us in the news tomorrow."

Swift added, "I think that in knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids."

The Favourite actor has also discussed the privacy the duo have built, telling British Vogue in 2018: "I'm aware people want to know about that side of things. I think we have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people."

While the pair's comments on their love are rare, Swift has taken moments to gush about her longtime beau. In her 2020 Miss Americana documentary, she explained that the Boy Erased actor's "wonderful, normal, balanced kind of life" is what attracted her to him.

One of the lyrics — “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, but I want ’em all” — appears to hint at the length of their romance. However, some fans have speculated whether the bridge was indicative of her potential future wedding vows to Alwyn: “Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand? / With every guitar string scar on my hand / I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover.”

Swift’s eighth studio album, Folklore, left fans with more questions than answers about the couple’s status. Some social media users speculated that the duo called it quits as Swift sings about losing who she thought was “The 1,” while other listeners called attention to the lyrics in “Invisible String,” which refer to Alwyn’s former job at a yogurt shop.   “Green was the color of the grass / Where I used to read at Centennial Park / I used to think I would meet somebody there,” Swift sings. “Teal was the color of your shirt / When you were 16 at the yogurt shop / You used to work at to make a little money.”   Another theory was that Alwyn secretly cowrote two songs on the album under the pen name William Bowery. Swift opened up about her decision to keep her relationship with Alwyn private during an interview with Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone magazine. “But I think that in knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real life and less like just a story line to be commented on in tabloids," she explained. "Whether that’s deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture — the idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it’s really just trying to find bits of normalcy. That’s what that song ‘Peace’ is talking about. Like, would it be enough if I could never fully achieve the normalcy that we both crave?" Shutterstock; Juan Herrero/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

While reflecting on the challenges of writing Folklore amid the coronavirus pandemic, Swift admitted that date nights with Alwyn played a big role in her early inspiration for the record. "I wasn't expecting to make an album. Early on in quarantine, I started watching lots of films. We would watch a different movie every night," she told Entertainment Weekly during an interview published in December 2020. "I feel like consuming other people's art and storytelling sort of opened this portal in my imagination ... The only people who knew were the people that I was making it with, my boyfriend, my family, and then my management team." Matt Baron/Shutterstock; Broadimage/Shutterstock

Alwyn returned to cowrite three songs for Swift’s 2020 album Evermore under the pseudonym William Bowery after debuting the moniker on Folklore. She confirmed his contribution in her November 2020 Disney+ concert special, Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, explaining: “There’s been a lot of discussion about William Bowery and his identity because it’s not a real person.
