Salma Hayek In Bikini Delivers 'Monday Motivation'

Salma Hayek is stunning in a plunging bikini as she both delivers a little "Monday motivation" and kinda catches up on the late New Year's Resolutions thing. The actress, 55, has been making quite the swimwear appearances on her social media in 2022 - much like the pattern followed in 2021, the MCU star kicked the year off by showing off her swimsuit body and delighting her army of followers.

New Year's Vibes

Scroll for the photo. Hayek, followed by 20.3 million, shared a gorgeous and natural snap of herself hugging her knees and resting her back against a giant rock as crashing waves approached her. The Mexican bombshell did opt for a low-cut swimsuit in bold blue, but the vibe was not provocative as Hayek closed her eyes, soaked up the spray, and topped up her tan.

Salma also sported a chic red manicure, with the camera further taking in a beachy palm tree backdrop. As per usual, the Latina didn't share her location. More after the snap.

Taking to her caption and catering to both her English-speaking and Hispanic followers, Salma wrote: "If you forgot to make your new year’s resolutions, it’s still January. The photo comes as Hayek continues to make headlines for a massive year career-wise - 2021 included House of Gucci, The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, and more. Turns out, the older Salma gets, the better she feels - and, it would seem, the luckier she is.

Luckier As She Gets Older?

Salma was 50 when she opened up to British health chain Holmes Place. The actress revealed:

"Well, I feel very lucky. I think I have achieved a lot of things at my age. I think I am very, very, lucky because I found love. You know, I think this is number one, the greatest achievement is that I found a fantastic partner to share my life with that I am still in love with, and that supports me and inspires me to grow" - here, she was referring to billionaire husband François-Henri Pinault.

She's 'Other Things, Too'

As to her age, Hayek blew it off and quite rightly so.

"I am other things too; and now people get to see the other things because they are not distracted with the youth and the beauty. I am comfortable, look I let my white hair grow," she added.

Stephen Curry Has No Plans To Make Excuses Regarding Shooting Slump

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry achieved another huge career milestone in the 2021-22 NBA season when he surpassed retired NBA player Ray Allen on the league's all-time three-point list. After overtaking Allen, most people considered Curry as the best three-point shooter in NBA history. However, a month after he sits on Allen's throne, the three-time NBA champion is noticeably struggling to knock down shots from beyond the arc.

In January, Curry is only shooting 35.9 percent from the field and 29.9 percent from the three-point range, per ESPN.

Stephen Curry On Shooting Struggle

Curry's worst shooting performance in the 2021-22 NBA season happened in the Warriors' 94-92 victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday night at Chase Center. In 35 minutes of action, he only finished with 13 points, four rebounds, and six assists. He just shot 5-of-20 from the field and disappointing 1-of-13 from beyond the arc. Though there were plenty of factors that have affected his recent performance, Curry said that he has no plan to make excuses regarding his shooting struggle.

"Who gives a damn about excuses," Curry said, via NBA.com. "That's nothing anybody wants to hear it. You either make shots or you miss shots. I have to start making some shots."

Stephen Curry Is 'Human'

Being named as the greatest three-point shooter of all time doesn't mean that Curry couldn't have bad nights. Like other superstars in the league, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said that Curry is only "human."

"Shots just aren't going. He's human," Kerr said. "I think what's happening right now is he's reminding everybody that he actually is human. He's seemed inhuman for so long. So I think everybody expects him to be in a groove all season long. And that's just not the way it works.

Excelling In Other Areas

Though he is yet to find a way to end his shooting struggle, Curry is still giving everything he can to help the Warriors win games. Curry may be struggling to knock down shots from beyond the arc, but Kerr said that in the past games, he has been playing some of his best basketball in terms of "point-guard duties."

While the media is focused on his shooting slump, Warriors spokesman Raymond Ridder reminded reporters that Curry has recorded 34 assists and six turnovers in the past four games.

Will Stephen Curry's Shooting Struggle Affect Warriors' Trade-Deadline Plans?

With Curry's struggle on the offensive end of the floor, some people believe that the Warriors should strongly consider making big moves before the 2022 NBA trade deadline. Curry may be expected to regain his rhythm, but it would be safer for the Warriors to add more help, especially if they are serious about fully dominating the Western Conference and winning the 2022 NBA championship title.

Though they would prefer to keep Andrew Wiggins, Brad Botkin of CBS Sports suggests that the Warriors could use James Wiseman as the main trade chip to target Jerami Grant, Myles Turner, or Domantas Sabonis before this year's trade deadline.

Is Anthony Edwards Expected To Play In Timberwolves-Blazers Game?

Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Anthony Edwards had another impressive performance when they defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night at Target Center. In 31 minutes of action, the former No. 1 pick posted 25 points, four assists, and two steals while shooting 47.1 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from beyond the arc, per ESPN. However, before the game ended, Edwards had an injury scare.

With over one minute left in the game, Edwards had a knee-to-knee collision with Nets rookie Day'Ron Sharpe.

Anthony Edwards Gives Update On Injury

After colliding with Sharpe, Edwards needed to be assisted on his way to the locker room, making some fans worry if his injury was serious. A few hours after they beat the Timberwolves, Edwards assured his fans on Instagram that he's "good." In a post-game interview, Timberwolves head coach Chris Flinch said that Edwards told him that he was alright.

Meanwhile, on Twitter Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reported that there's not too much concern about Edwards' health status. He added that though it might be a little sore, the former No. 1 pick should be okay.

Anthony Edwards' Availability Against The Trail Blazers

As of now, multiple signs are pointing out that Edwards would be available when the Timberwolves go up against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night at Moda Center. Though the Timberwolves haven't given an official statement regarding his availability, Ben Stinar of Sports Illustrated believes that Edwards will play against the Trail Blazers since he is not listed on the team's injury report.

Meanwhile, in a preview article for the Timberwolves-Trail Blazers game, SB Nation's Blazers Edge listed Edwards as questionable, together with veteran point guard Patrick Beverley.

Timberwolves' Plan B If Anthony Edwards Won't Play

If the Timberwolves decide to rest Edwards against the Trail Blazers. Ben Zweiman of Draftkings Nation mentioned some of the players who should step up in his absence.

"If that's the case and Edwards sits, that should mean more usage for D'Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns," Zweiman wrote. "Jaylen Nowell would also be in line for more minutes off the bench and could actually end up starting in place of Edwards. Jaden McDaniels and Malik Beasley are also candidates to step up if Edwards misses any time."

Can Timberwolves Beat Trail Blazers?

The Timberwolves and the Trail Blazers both established an impressive performance in their last 10 games, but Minnesota is expected to be the favorites to win in their upcoming faceoff since Portland is currently playing without their main man, Damian Lillard. However, though Lillard is sidelined by an abdominal injury, the Timberwolves shouldn't underestimate the Trail Blazers.

The Trail Blazers may currently don't have Lillard, but their second-best player, CJ McCollum, recently returned to the court. In his first four games since recovering from a collapsed lung, McCollum is averaging 20.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.3 steals while shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from beyond the arc. If McCollum and the Trail Blazers could maintain their momentum from their recent road trip, it's not hard to see them upsetting the Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

Brooke also shared her routine in the caption for interested fans willing to attain such body goals.

Family Vacation In Hawaii

Brooke practiced some light exercise reps in a mismatched two-piece bikini – a white bottom and navy-blue bra. Amy Poehler has had many roles but her most memorable one remains to be the hardworking and cheerful Leslie Knope in Parks and Recreation.

As a dedicated public servant, Knope is always thinking of ways to improve her community and help people around her. One of her best contributions to society (both on and off-screen) is inventing Galentine's Day - a holiday celebrated on February 13 before Valentine's Day with your best gal pals.

Although it's not really an official holiday, it has become a part of our culture and many women across the nation celebrate G-Day.

Here's how Galentine's Day started.

How Galentine's Day Started

In season 2, Knope first introduced "Galentine's Day" and explained that the special day is to celebrate her female friends.

"What is Galentine's Day? It's only the best day of the year. Every February 13, my ladyfriends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It's like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas," Knope explained to the camera.

Because Knope believed it was truly important to celebrate girl friends, she even reached out to congress to try and make the holiday official.

How Galentine's Day Is Celebrated

In the episode, Knope gathered her gal pals for brunch with waffles and mimosas.

To show her appreciation to her friends, Leslie also showered them with a couple of gifts - crocheted flower pens, handmade mosaics of their faces, and a personalized 5,000-word essay about why they are awesome.

The celebration was concluded with a story from Knope's mom, detailing a past, passionate love affair that apparently made The Notebook look like Saw V.

Becoming Part Of The Culture

Pretty soon, the holiday caught on and became a beloved tradition that many women celebrate every year.

It has become so popular, much like Friends' "Friendsgiving" that even several companies make special products for the day or host Galentine's Day sales for their customers. Even Hallmark makes special "Happy Galentine's Day" cards to celebrate the beloved tradition.

Galentine Gals Reunion

Even Poehler herself and the other ladies in the show still celebrate Galentine's Day to this day. The actress guested on The Kelly Clarkson Show last year and shared how much she loves the tradition.

"I celebrate Galentine's Day all the time. And in fact, I'm spending Galentine's Day with Rashida Jones, Aubrey Plaza and Kathryn Hahn. We're having dinner tonight," Poehler told Kelly.

While it may have been started by a fictional character, the meaningful holiday has become one of the most popular unofficial holidays and it's definitely here to stay.
