Is It Over? Signs BiP’s Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian Have Split Posted: 10 Jan 2022 02:13 PM PST Rocky romance? Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian may have hit a bump in the road when it comes to their relationship — and fans are noticing. The Bachelor in Paradise couple, who met on season 7 of the ABC series in 2021, sparked split speculation earlier this month after their social media interactions seemingly changed. Gunn, 25, and Christian, 32, were inseparable while filming the reality TV show, which aired in the fall of 2021. In fact, their whirlwind romance resulted in one of the three season finale proposals — which fans watched unfold in October 2021. The New York attorney exclusively told Us Weekly after the finale aired that he knew he'd get down on one knee after the pair's fantasy suite date. "I said [during the finale that] I had some things to, like, think about, which I did because I mean, having a family, being engaged is everything that I ever wanted," Christian said at the time. "So obviously I want to take my time and make the decision, but, you know, it didn't take too much time. I thought about it. I got it out and it was game time." Gunn, for her part, gushed over their engagement shortly after fans saw the romantic moment air on TV. "I woke up this morning with nothing but tears of happiness," she captioned a social media video of the duo sharing a kiss and cooking breakfast, set to Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning" in October 2021. "I can't believe this is how I get to spend every Sunday morning for the rest of my life… @rileydchristian you have changed my world completely, and I couldn't be happier." The lovebirds continued to put their PDA-filled romance on display in the months that followed. They celebrated their first holiday season together in December 2021 in New York City. "Merry Christmas to you and yours! Gunn also shared a snap of the duo's holiday festivities, which included taking a selfie in front of the giant Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. Madison LeCroy and Brett Randle's wedding plans are in full swing after their October 2021 engagement. The Southern Charm star, however, doesn't intend to share the spotlight with her Bravo costars on her big day. In fact, LeCroy told fans during an Instagram Live on January 6 that the cast of the reality show "will not be at my wedding," because only the couple’s loved ones would be in attendance. “She’s only inviting close family and friends now," LeCroy's rep later confirmed to Us Weekly in a statement. "It’s no disregard to anyone on the show.” The Maven salon co-owner exclusively told Us in October 2021 that she chose to keep her engagement news under wraps for a few weeks — even from the Southern Charm cast — so that she and her fiancé could savor the moment. "I’ve told two [costars]. I’m going to tell Patricia Altschul today, we’ll see how, what she says," LeCroy told Us just days after accepting Randle's proposal. "But with him regardless, I just knew it didn’t matter what the situation was [or what he did for a living]. I just knew that how he made me feel and how my son, [Hudson], felt when he clearly knew that he was The One as well." LeCroy, who shares 9-year-old Hudson with ex-husband Josh Hughes, recalled telling her ex about the relationship and the engagement before officially announcing the news. "Everybody’s on board," she explained. "And if you’re not, then we honestly don’t care." Brooklyn Beckham 'Can't Wait to Grow Old' With Fiancee Nicola Peltz Posted: 10 Jan 2022 01:52 PM PST Love at first sight! Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are two of young Hollywood’s brightest stars, so it’s no surprise that their relationship has been full of sparks from the moment it started. The pair, who began dating in October 2019, got serious fast, making their relationship Instagram official in January 2020 and getting engaged less than a year into their romance. "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,” the photographer wrote via Instagram in July 2020 after popping the question. “I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day The model’s famous parents, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, are super supportive of their eldest son’s relationship and are huge fans of their future daughter-in-law. In April 2021, Peltz showed off a tattoo of her fiancé’s name written in cursive on her back. Brooklyn, for his part, has a tattoo of Peltz’s grandmother’s name as well as a pair of eyes that fans speculated were drawn to look like those of the Bates Motel alum. He also has a tattoo on his arm that reads, “My life, my love, my truth, my breath, my reason, my beauty, my precious." For a less painful tribute, the Last Airbender star had matching necklaces made with their wisdom teeth. “You’re my best friend,” she captioned the Instagram Story showing off the jewelry. ‘Sex/Life’ Star Adam Demos Calls Sarah Shahi His 'Home' in Birthday Message Posted: 10 Jan 2022 01:47 PM PST Lights, camera, romance! Sarah Shahi and boyfriend Adam Demos fell in love after meeting on the set of Netflix's Sex/Life — and their real-life relationship is equally as steamy. The duo filmed the series together in the fall of 2020 in Canada, playing sexy former lovers who get caught in a love triangle. In the show, Shahi's character, Billie, is married to Cooper (Mike Vogel) but yearns for her wilder days when she hooked up with Demos' Brad. Offscreen, the L Word alum was going through a divorce when the risqué role came into her life — and not necessarily thinking about finding love again. Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in June 2020 that Shahi and Steve Howey had separated two months prior after 11 years of marriage. The former spouses, who share three children, son William and twins Violet and Knox, finalized their divorce in January 2021. Shahi wrapped Sex/Life one month prior to her divorce being finalized. At the time, she reflected on how much her life had changed over the past few months. "And it's a wrap on Billie Mann. @sexlife. My alter ego," she captioned a series of photos of her on-camera persona in December 2020. "The layered, wildly complex, hurricane of a character I had the honor of portraying. The saint and the sinner wrapped up in a messy pink bow." The Texas native then got a little more personal, adding, "This show was more than just another gig. It changed the direction of my life. It unleashed parts of my heart I had hidden for so long. It helped me find my truth. I was broken open. Finally." When celebrating her birthday in January 2021, the Person of Interest alum again reflected on her good fortune, noting that her relationship with Demos is one of the many "privileges" she's been afforded as she's grown older. "It's a privilege to wake up every day with excitement as to what the day COULD bring, to look at Christmas lights and Halloween decorations with more astonishment than my kids," she wrote via Instagram at the time. "To get giddy at the smell of pages of a freshly opened book. To have found my love @adam_demos, to laugh until the sun comes up (sleep is boring), to dance when there's no music." Four months later, Shahi gushed over her man when celebrating his birthday, admiring how two very different people could be a perfect match. "Not exactly sure how two people on opposite sides of the world could have more in common, were meant to meet, were meant to be together," she wrote via Instagram in May 2021. "But I do know I met my soulmate." The UnREAL alum replied: "My forever and more.. I love you so f–king much my baby Shahi later commented on Demos' own birthday post, writing, "My baby … you're worth everything and more. Gonna celebrate you forever." After going through a public relationship and breakup with her Southern Charm costar Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy has made it clear that she found something special with fiancé Brett. LeCroy’s romance with Kroll was first introduced to Southern Charm viewers during season 6. The duo’s on and off relationship lasted for two years before Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that they called it quits in December 2020. "We are not together right now. I am 1,000 percent single, and so is he," the salon owner told Us at the time. "So, ladies, if you want him, you can have him." Following their split, LeCroy made headlines when she was linked to Jay Cutler after Kroll grew close to Kristin Cavallari. Later, rumors swirled that the South Carolina native had previously been in contact with Alex Rodriguez, who was engaged to Jennifer Lopez at the time. In April 2021, the salon owner teased on social media that she was seeing someone new. Two months later, LeCroy and the mystery man made their romance Instagram official. “Madhappy,” the reality star captioned a few adorable photos of her and Brett via Instagram in June 2021. That same month, LeCroy revealed to Us that she was in "the most grown-up relationship” yet. "We have adult conversations. We talk about the future and we have the same kind of ideas about where we want our lives to go," she told Us at the time. "When I was married before, you [have] to [remember] I was 19 years old, 20 years old, it was a different kind of love and this is something that just feels right." The hairstylist, who was previously married to Josh Hughes from 2010 to 2015, explained that her new beau is “actually a man” who “has his s–t together and is very respectful." LeCroy also noted that their relationship had already hit a major milestone when Brett met her son Hudson, who she welcomed in 2012 with her ex-husband. "My son's father knows a lot about him through my son and my son saying that I seem happy and he's really nice to mom, and all these things," she shared with Us. "One of my favorite things about him was on Mother's Day, he sent flowers to my house and said that they were from my son. Very sweet. Very thoughtful. And his family's wonderful as well. I'm very excited about this." As the pair’s connection continued to grow, LeCroy revealed that she wouldn’t mind walking down the aisle again. “I would love to get married again. I actually enjoyed being married,” the Bravo personality mentioned to Us in September 2021. “Just didn’t work out the first time. So hopefully second time is the charm.” One month later, LeCroy confirmed to Us that she was engaged to Brett after less than one year of dating. “I’m excited to announce that I am engaged!” she exclusively told Us in October 2021. “Oh, my gosh. I am so excited and I feel like I’ve been trying to hold this in for quite some time and it has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do.” At the time, LeCroy gushed about getting to have a proper wedding and a marriage. “There’s something about being married. That’s such a secure feeling that I can’t explain it,” she added. “It’s just a partnership and like a united front that you can’t break that I like. I look forward to that.” Scroll down to relive LeCroy’s sweet romance with Brett: ![]() During Southern Charm's season 7 reunion in February 2021, Craig Conover claimed that LeCroy “flew to Miami to f–k an ex-MLB player.” She later confirmed that Rodriguez was the athlete mentioned during the episode, but denied that they ever hooked up. “He contacted me. And yes, we DMed,” LeCroy said at the time. “But other than that, there was nothing. I’ve never physically seen him, touched him. I am not a f—king liar and I will stand up for that.” In February 2021, a source close to the former New York Yankees player claimed that Rodriguez "never met" LeCroy. Two months later, Rodriguez and Lopez confirmed that their relationship was officially over. After a person wrote, “Mmmm A-Rod on his way girl get bags pack he coming for you,” on one of LeCroy's Instagram pics, she clapped back, writing, “I have a boyfriend!” That same month, another source noted to Us that "Madison is happy in her new relationship. It was, like, instant. And I mean you really can’t miss him. … He’s absolutely stunning,” she recalled in June 2021. “I said, ‘You can take me out, but you’ll have to take me out in Charleston, South Carolina.’ And he says, ‘I’m fine with that. When are you available?’” After the twosome's first date in Charleston, LeCroy admitted that she “fell in love instantly." “We had been together pretty much non-stop since then,” she shared with Us. “I just kept it private because I wanted to have a fair shot at being in love and, like, having no outside opinion. But I also am not going to hide my life because of trolls or people on social media who want to speak my narrative." Courtesy of Madison LeCroy/Instagram ![]() The makeup artist noted that having a boyfriend who isn't active on social media allowed her to take a break from the online world as well. "It's been so nice to actually be with someone where I'm not worried about what's happening on the internet about me because I'm occupied with the man of my dreams,” LeCroy told Us at the time. “I'm not on my phone. I'm busy living my best life.” LeCroy gushed that Brett's outlook on life "makes me want to be a better person." “He always opens my door for me and in my opinion, he puts me before myself and I'm not used to that either. I kind of have always been the one being like, 'Oh well you need to do this and you need to do that,'” the TV personality explained. “He's not a big drinker, definitely not a partier at all, which I love." Am I going there?'" she exclusively told Us in September 2021. "That's what makes it work, I think." LeCroy also revealed that she was very serious about Brett because their relationship just felt different to her. "This is like my mom said, 'You'll know when you know.' That's exactly how I feel with this. It's crazy to have someone that respects you as much as I respect him," she mentioned. "Like for the first time in my life ... I feel like I'm finally grown up and found a man." Courtesy of Madison LeCroy/Instagram ![]() After announcing her engagement news on Amazon Live, LeCroy gushed about the perfect proposal that included her son, Hudson. "We got home and he proposed to me in the living room and my son's behind him just clapping," she told Us. "I completely blacked out at that point of whatever he was saying. I had no idea. I was just crying [and] I'm like the worst crier too. So it was perfect." Having Brett and her son working on this special moment together meant a lot to the Southern Charm star. "I think my son looks up to him in so many ways. It's because he's such a good influence and not only on him, but even me as a person. He makes me want to be like the best version of myself," LeCroy noted. "I have, like, waited my whole life to find someone that treats me the way he does. So I'm very honored to be his bride and I'm so excited to marry him." Betty White's Official Cause of Death Revealed: Details Posted: 10 Jan 2022 01:37 PM PST Less than two weeks after her death shook Hollywood, Betty White‘s official cause of death has been revealed. The actress, who passed away on New Year’s Eve 2021 at the age of 99, suffered a cerebrovascular accident, according to her death certificate, which was obtained by TMZ on Monday, January 10. The incident causes tissue damage as a result of losing blood flow to the brain. The document also notes that White had a stroke several days before she died. After news broke of the Golden Girls alum’s passing, her agent and close friend, Jeff Witjas, noted in a statement that she succumbed to natural causes. He later confirmed to Us Weekly that funeral plans were already underway. “The arrangements are being handled privately and that was Betty’s wish,” Witjas said Wednesday, January 5. “As in life, she never wanted people to make a fuss over her.” Witjas also suggested that fans who are interested in doing something special to honor White’s memory should donate to some of the organizations she cared about, including The Los Angeles Zoo, Tree People, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Wildlife Learning Center, Actors and Animals for Others, The Aquarium of the Pacific and Guide Dogs For the Blind. The former Hot in Cleveland star was just shy of her 100th birthday when her death made headlines. She previously told Entertainment Tonight that she felt like “the luckiest broad on two feet” to be nearing such a major milestone in her life. White’s birthday was set to be marked with the release of a movie titled Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration. While the tone of the one-night event has shifted in the wake of her passing, the film will still be played in theaters on Monday, January 17. “During the many years we worked with her, we developed a great love and admiration for Betty as a person, and as an accomplished entertainer. We are thankful for the many decades of delight she brought to everyone,” producers Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein noted in a statement about the continuation of the project, adding that they hoped to “provide a way for all who loved her to celebrate her life.” The movie is set to feature cameos from some of White’s lifelong pals and former costars, including Ryan Reynolds, who formed a close bond with the comedian after working together on 2009’s The Proposal. He penned a heartfelt tribute to the eight-time Emmy winner on December 31. “The world looks different now. She was great at defying expectation,” the 45-year-old actor tweeted. “She managed to grow very old and somehow, not old enough. We’ll miss you, Betty. Now you know the secret.” |
Top-Earning TikTok Stars Revealed: Where Do Your Favorites Rank? Posted: 10 Jan 2022 12:41 PM PST Addison Rae, Charli D’Amelio and more TikTok users are raking in more than just “likes” — they’re also making major money. A new breakdown, published by Forbes on Friday, August 7, details the earnings of seven viral video-makers who have all been able to turn their content into cash. Rae, 19, and D’Amelio, 16, have launched wildly successful personal brands, “primarily through sales of personally branded merchandise and sponsored content for brands such as Sony, Chipotle and Revlon.” With millions of followers across multiple platforms, the teens topping Forbes‘ list have each made more than $1 million in the span of one short year. To estimate the social media stars’ earnings, the publication used the expertise of agents, managers, marketers and investors — and left traditional celebrities using TikTok out of their analysis. Earlier this month, D’Amelio dished on her success as an influencer, which was never part of her plan when she downloaded the popular app. “I got started with TikTok because all of my friends were using the app and posting on their accounts. I didn’t have an account, so I was just dancing on their phones and I’d be like, ‘Oh, can you send me that? That’s so cool,'” she told Variety on Wednesday, August 5. “Eventually I decided to make my own account because I was having so much fun making all of these dance videos with my friends. I got the app, I started dancing, my videos started getting a little bit more popular on the app and a lot has happened since then.” Charli and her sister, Dixie D’Amelio, both landed on Forbes‘ first-ever TikTok list, and the pair have been working through their newfound fame together. “If I didn’t have my family doing this with me, my experience would be very, very different,” Charli told Variety. “I think going through this alone would be a lot more complicated and I don’t think I would be able to do it like I am right now.” While the D’Amelio sisters have each other, Rae has found herself falling into a crowd of famous pals, including Kourtney Kardashian and her kids, Mason, 10, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 5. Rae has spent plenty of time with the reality star, 40, in recent months and has “learned a lot” from their budding friendship. “The advice I have gotten from hanging around people who have spent time in the spotlight is to always be humble and grateful for all that I am given because I am in a really fortunate position,” she told Us Weekly exclusively in July. “I'm truly thankful for the platform my followers have given me.” Scroll down to see Forbes‘ breakdown of the highest-earning stars on TikTok. ![]() After going viral with a series of dance videos last summer, the Connecticut native moved across the country to L.A., appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and raked in roughly $4 million. "There aren't enough words to express what I'm feeling today," she began on Monday. "Nor are they big enough to capture even a slice of who he was. One thing I do know, is that we never missed a chance to tell each other, ‘I love you.' … I'll miss you Bob. I'll make sure and tell an inappropriate joke at your funeral. In your honor. I know you would've wanted that. But you were supposed to be here longer… How Rude." Saget is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and his daughters, Aubrey, Lara and Jenny, whom he shared with ex-wife Sherri Kramer. |

And he talked about the projects she was working on and how much he enjoyed being a part of anything.” He added: "He was very proud of them.” The former America’s Funniest Home Videos host, who tied the knot with Rizzo in 2018, also “repeatedly” mentioned his wife while away on tour. Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague Clarifies Poverty Comments Amid Backlash Posted: 10 Jan 2022 12:19 PM PST Clearing the air. Molly-Mae Hague apologized for her recent remarks about wealth, poverty and work ethic after being slammed for saying all people "have the same 24 hours in a day" to improve their lives. “I wanted to come back online today as normal, but I feel like before I do, I just wanted to say this … When I say or post anything online, it is never with malice or ill intent,” the former Love Island U.K. star, 22, wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, January 10. “I completely appreciate that things can affect different people in different ways, however, I just want to stress that I would never intend to hurt or upset anyone by anything that I say or do.” The British TV personality continued: “I apologize to the people that been affected negatively or misunderstood the meaning of what I said in the podcast, the intentions of the podcast were only ever to tell my story and inspire from my own experience. Love to you all, always x." Hague, who is the creative director of Pretty Little Thing fashion brand, made waves earlier this month when a portion of her December 2021 interview on "The Diary of a CEO" podcast resurfaced. During her appearance, the former reality star detailed her rise to the top — but her remarks about her own success sparked controversy with some listeners. ![]() “You’re given one life and it’s down to you what you do with it,” Hague told podcast host Steven Bartlett last month. “Like, you can literally go in any direction. When I’ve spoken about that before in the past, I have been slammed a little bit." She explained that some critics have told her, "It’s easy for you to say. You’ve not grown up in poverty. You’ve not grown up with major money struggles. So for you to sit there and say that 'we all have the same 24 hours in a day,' it’s not correct.” Hague — who found love on season 5 of Love Island with boyfriend Tommy Fury — doubled down on her comments, however, claiming that "technically what I’m saying is correct, we do [have the same number of hours]." The influencer noted, "Obviously we all have different backgrounds and we’re all raised in different ways, and we do have different financial situations, but I think if you want something enough you can achieve it. It just depends to what lengths you wanna go to get to where you wanna be in the future." The England native insisted that she will "go to any length" to achieve her dreams, adding, "I’ve worked my arse off to get to where I am now.” Many listeners were not happy with her comments, arguing that poverty and other lived experiences make it harder for some to achieve financial success. Hague's team later released a statement amid the backlash, alleging that some fans have taken her words out of context. “If you listen to this interview, you can see the whole conversation was about her own personal circumstances, how she has grown up and this small clip in the conversation was talking about a quote that inspires her," the statement to Cosmopolitan read. "Social media users [are sharing] a short snippet from this interview with words such as ‘if you are homeless buy a house’ and ‘if you are poor be poor’ – these are absolutely not Molly’s words, these are not Molly’s thoughts and this isn't at all the meaning or thought behind that conversation.” |
Robert Durst Dies in Prison 4 Months After Murder Conviction Posted: 10 Jan 2022 12:03 PM PST Robert Durst, the real estate heir who was convicted of murder last year, has died at age 78, Us Weekly can confirm. The New York City native died on Monday, January 10, while serving a life sentence for the 2000 murder of his friend Susan Berman. “Mr. Durst passed away early this morning while in the custody of the California Department of Corrections,” his lawyer, Chip Lewis, told Us in a statement. “We understand that his death was due to natural causes associated with the litany of medical issues we had repeatedly reported to the court over the last couple of years.” Durst’s story became famous in 2015 when HBO released a six-part docuseries about him titled The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst. He had long been associated with the disappearance of his ex-wife, Kathleen McCormack Durst, and the murder of Berman, but at the time he had not been charged with any crimes relating to their deaths. (He was acquitted of the murder of his neighbor Morris Black in 2003 but convicted of tampering with evidence related to the crime.) During the finale of The Jinx, Durst seemingly confessed to one or more murders as a microphone caught him muttering, “What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course.” The day before the finale aired in March 2015, Durst was arrested on murder charges for the death of Berman. After various delays related to his health and the coronavirus pandemic, the trial began in earnest in May 2021. Four months later, a jury convicted him of first-degree murder, and in October 2021, he was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole. That same month, the Westchester County District Attorney’s office charged Durst with the murder of Kathleen, who disappeared in 1982 and was declared legally dead in 2017. During the Berman trial, Durst denied killing Kathleen, saying that he thought she was “out someplace having fun" when her medical school called to ask why she hadn’t been coming to class. "It hadn't occurred to me that anything had happened to her," he said in August 2021. "It was more like: What had Kathie done to Kathie?" Shortly after his conviction for Berman’s murder, Durst was hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19 and placed on a ventilator. “He looked like death warmed over,” his former attorney Dick DeGuerin said in October 2021. “He was laying back in his wheelchair and was gasping for breath.” Durst previously underwent surgery for esophageal cancer, and in May 2021, his lawyers said that he was battling bladder cancer. At the time, his legal team requested to postpone his trial, but a judge denied the motion. |
Bob Saget Was 'Unresponsive' With 'No Pulse' During 911 Call Posted: 10 Jan 2022 11:47 AM PST Bob Saget was found dead in his Orlando, Florida, hotel room on Sunday, January 9 — and Us Weekly has obtained the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes’s 911 call. "We have an unresponsive guest in a room," the caller told dispatch over the phone. "My officer is telling me that there is no pulse. Not responsive, not breathing and no pulse." The Orange County Sherrif's Office confirmed the 65-year-old actor's death that evening in a statement via Twitter, which read, "Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. #BobSaget." Orange County Fire Rescue arrived first on the scene, followed by Deputy Adrian Gonzales, according to a police report obtained by Us on Monday, January 10. "Upon my arrival, OCFR advised the male, later identified as Robert Saget, was declared deceased at 1618 hours," the report read. "Crime Scene tape was placed and a Crime Scene Contamination Log was started. My [body-worn camera] was activated while I checked the immediate area for signs of foul play. It should be noted none were found. The room itself was orderly with items owned by Mr. Saget on the nightstand, television stand, closet and bathroom." The report noted that the Full House alum was "found in a supine position in his bed," explaining, "His left arm was across his chest while his right arm was resting on the bed. No signs of trauma were seen. Mr. Saget was due to check out from room #962 this date and his family had been unable to get a hold of him." The Dirty Daddy author is survived by wife Kelly Rizzo and three daughters with ex Sherri Kramer: Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29. When the Pennsylvania native did not contact his family members, they requested the hotel's security team check on him. "Jody Lee Harrison, a member of their security team … received no response after knocking several times and attempted to gain entry," the report continued. "Mr. Harrison entered the room and noted all the lights were off. He proceeded to the bedroom and located Mr. Saget in his bed. He stated Mr. Saget was 'cold to the touch, yellow and clammy.' He checked for breathing and a pulse but none were detected. … Homicide was notified and Corporal Brian Meadows (HO11) responded to the scene with the Forensics Unit. While on scene, hotel management spoke with Mr. Saget’s wife, Kelly Rizzo, over the phone to inform her of his passing. This decision was made after consulting with their legal team." The report noted that Saget had last entered his room at 2:17 a.m. The stand-up comedian posted a selfie via Twitter nearly two hours later. "Loved tonight's show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville," the Pennsylvania native wrote on Sunday morning, referencing his comedy tour, which was scheduled to run through May. "Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I'm happily addicted again to this s–t.” The Fuller House alum's family released a statement on Sunday confirming his passing, writing, "We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter." |
'Full House' Cast’s Quotes About Bob Saget Through the Years: 'My Nemo' Posted: 10 Jan 2022 10:59 AM PST A friend till the end. Bob Saget‘s fellow cast members on Full House thought of him as more than a coworker — they thought of him as family. The actor, who died on Sunday, January 9, at age 65, maintained a close relationship with his TV daughters Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen well after Full House ended its original run in 1995. "We hang out sometimes,” the comedian told Us Weekly of his TV family in May 2013, years before the Fuller House revival officially reunited most of the cast. “I get to see them when we can. We all love each other.” During a table read for the final season of Fuller House, the Masked Singer alum teared up talking about how much he loved reuniting with Sweetin, 39, Bure, 45, and Andrea Barber, who played D.J. Tanner’s best friend, Kimmy Gibbler. “I’m so proud to have been able to raise these girls and know them since they were … like my girls — like my own daughters,” he said in May 2019. “I couldn’t be prouder if I was your own dad. And I love you.” The Olsen twins, 35, didn’t participate in Fuller House, but they also stayed close with their TV father after leaving behind their acting careers. When Saget appeared on Broadway in the play Hand to God in November 15, Ashley proudly supported him on opening night, posing for photos with him backstage. That same month, the Row designer had dinner with the Philadelphia native in New York City. The Temple University grad was also close to John Stamos and Dave Coulier, who played Danny Tanner’s brother-in-law and best friend, respectively. In January 2019, Saget and his wife, Kelly Rizzo, went on a double date with the Scream Queens veteran, 58, and his spouse, Caitlin McHugh. "What can you say about someone you've loved for so long and want to spend the rest of your life with?" Saget joked via Instagram at the time, sharing a photo of the foursome seated together at dinner. Delilah Belle Hamlin, Eyal Booker Split After More Than 2 Years Together Posted: 10 Jan 2022 10:37 AM PST ![]() Pressing pause. Delilah Belle Hamlin and boyfriend Eyal Booker have split after more than two years together, Us Weekly confirms. Hamlin, 23, and the England native, 26, called it quits before the new year. The pair were first linked in April 2019, one year after Booker appeared on season 4 of Love Island UK. They confirmed their romance in May 2019 and celebrated their two-year anniversary with sweet social media tributes. “I love you forever. 2 years with you and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to do it with. @eyalbooker,” Hamlin gushed via Instagram alongside a black-and-white PDA photo. Booker, for his part, wrote: “2 years with you At the time, the reality star thanked the model for encouraging him to be his “authentic self,” concluding, “I’m excited to keep learning about you, learning with you and navigating this crazy thing we call life with together. I love you @delilahbelle.” Several months later, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin‘s daughter opened up about experiencing a “scary” health struggle, which included a reliance on Xanax. During a lengthy November 2021 Instagram video, Delilah Belle explained that she sought treatment after being over-prescribed by a psychiatrist. “I overdosed on this one medication called Propranolol. I took Benadryl with it and, for some reason, I ended up in the hospital,” she revealed. “I had already come down on the Xanax. I wasn’t like a drug addict, but my body was dependent on it because of how much the doctor had prescribed me.” The California native hinted at the time that there were some people who discouraged her from sharing her story, but Booker lent his support to his then-girlfriend. ![]() “I love you & know you will get better. Day by day Booker was Delilah Belle’s “rock” through her challenging time, a source exclusively told Us last fall. “[Eyal]’s been super supportive all along,” the insider noted. “It’s been hard on him too but he’s 100 percent there for her.” Ahead of the pair’s split, Rinna, 58, and her husband, 70, were fans of their eldest daughter’s beau. “My husband, Harry, made it quite clear that he would not object if Delilah and Eyal got married, which is pretty shocking, but that says a lot,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said during an August 2021 episode of the Bravo series, comparing Delilah Belle’s relationship with Amelia Gray Hamlin and ex Scott Disick‘s romance — which Rinna and Harry didn’t approve of. Joe Gatto is moving forward with his comedy tour after confirming his departure from Impractical Jokers and his split from wife Bessy Gatto. “When I committed to my upcoming series of shows starting in the Midwest this week, I obviously had no idea what life would look like at this moment,” Joe, 45, captioned an Instagram post on Monday, January 10. “Regardless, we can all use some laughter and kindness right now, and I'll therefore be keeping all of my dates.” While sharing information about his tour, which will take place from January to May, the comedian noted that he was “excited to share some laughs” with his fans. However, due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away. Bessy and I have decided to amicably part ways, so now I need to focus on being the best father and coparent to our two incredible kids.” The New York native, who recently separated from his estranged wife, 39, after eight years of marriage, also reflected on his bond with costars James "Murr" Murray, Brian "Q" Quinn and Sal Vulcano. “Outside of my family, my relationships with Murr, Q and Sal have been the most important in my life. I know they will continue to make the world laugh,” Joe added at the time. “And even though the four of us are the ones who you all see, this show is only possible due to the hard work of the talented crew members who work behind the scenes. I am very thankful to have worked with each and every one of them.” Bessy, for her part, offered her followers an update on where she stands with her former spouse — with whom she shares daughter Milana, 6, and son Remo, 4, — after calling it quits. ![]() “With love and respect, we have decided to separate. And of course we will still continue to help animals and rescue dogs, which is something we are both passionate about! Days later, the animal activist discussed her life’s ups and downs in a TikTok video responding to the question, “What’s that broken thing in your house that everyone just accepts and lives with?” Bessy raised her hand as she shared a clip of herself cuddling a dog in bed. One month before news broke of their split, Joe gushed about his wife on social media, writing via Instagram, “This is what rescue looks like at the Gatto house. Each day all the seniors get some serious quality time with the Momma of the pack. Such a big, beautiful heart on this wife of mine.” |
Bob Saget Ended Every Conversation With 'I Love You,' Longtime Pal Reveals Posted: 10 Jan 2022 10:33 AM PST Remembering his friend. Bob Saget's longtime pal and collaborator Mike Young spoke exclusively to Us Weekly following the death of the Full House alum on Sunday, January 9. "Bob was family to me. We toured together for the last 12 years — every week," Young told Us on Monday, January 10. "And it was just me and Bob doing a two-man show in every city we went to. Yeah, he was like a brother. … Bob’s final words [were] always ‘I love you.’ That was it." Saget, who was found unresponsive in his Florida hotel room on Sunday, tagged Young in his final Instagram post after a stand-up show on Saturday, January 8. The comedian told Us that he found out about the 65-year-old's passing via Saget's wife, Kelly Rizzo. "His wife called me," Young noted. "No one’s doing good right now. Nobody’s doing good because Bob was a huge part of everyone’s life, so this is going to take a little while. It’s going to take a little while to digest and process and we’re going to miss him because he was a huge part of all of our lives, and there’s nobody like him. … He was just his own special spirit. He just was different. It’s why so many millions of people love that guy on camera. You know you saw him on TV, you can’t explain it. He was just full of love." In addition to Rizzo, Saget is survived by his daughters, Lara, Aubrey and Jennifer, whom he shared with ex-wife Sherri Kramer. "[Bob] was incredible," Young continued. "He loved his wife, and he loved his kids and he made sure every step of the way that they were OK. That’s how I would describe Bob. He made sure that everybody was OK before him. He was always taking care of everybody including me, you know what I mean? He would make sure my flights were perfect, he would make sure the hotel was good, he would make sure we had somewhere to eat after the show. He just took care of people." The Saget family spoke out via a statement to Us on Sunday: "We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter." While the How I Met Your Mother alum was known for his role as Danny Tanner on Full House and the sitcom's revival series, Fuller House, Young echoed Saget's family's words about the former America's Funniest Home Videos host's love for comedy. "He never wanted to retire," he told Us. "[He] wanted to just be the greatest comic that he could be. [He] wanted to direct more movies. Always talked about doing more. Always talked about getting better. … He loved stand-up. He loved it more than anything — more than TV, more than movies. Bob was a performer. He was a performer." Young concluded: "Bob loves people. Millions of people love Bob, but it was because he loved people and that’s something you can’t fake." With reporting by Diana Cooper |

"Words cannot begin to express how devastated I am," the 57-year-old actress told Us Weekly in a statement on Monday, January 10. "Bob was more than my friend; he was my family." The Full House alum, who played Aunt Becky for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995, remembered her longtime friend after he was found dead in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday. He was 65. "I will miss his kind heart and quick wit. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful memories and laughter," she continued. "I love you, Bobby." The comedian was pronounced dead by the Orange County Sherriff's Office on Sunday after a Ritz Carlton hotel employee found him unresponsive in his room. He was in town for a stand-up show one day prior. ![]() Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the sitcom and its revival, Fuller House, alongside Loughlin, is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three daughters, Lara, Aubrey and Jennifer. The late actor shared the girls with his ex-wife, Sherri Kramer, whom he was married to for 15 years before their 1997 split. Before his death, Loughlin and Saget had a strong friendship after working together on both Full House and Fuller House. While the When Calls the Heart alum exited the revival series in wake of her March 2019 arrest in the college admissions scandal, the Pennsylvania native always had her back. "I don't cut people that I love from my life unless they shot me in the eye," Saget exclusively told Us in December 2019. "No matter what, everyone does something in their life that comes out in the press — no matter what we do. I just love her and I'll always love her." The Summerland alum and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty in May 2020 to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud after initially denying that they paid bribes to help get their daughters, Bella Giannulli and Olivia Jade Giannulli, into the University of Southern California. Loughlin completed her two-month jail stint in December 2020, while the 58-year-old fashion designer finished his five-month sentence in April 2021. Through it all, Saget remained one of Loughlin's biggest supporters. "I love her. I've been asked [about her legal issues] a lot. I've gotten whittled down. I just love her," the Bob Saget's Here for You creator said during a February 2021 episode of the "Inside of You With Michael Rosenbaum" podcast. "I don't know, I'd like to see a lot of other people doing time. We're in such a place where no matter what I say I'm screwed, and I just love her. That's where I am on that." |
