Designer Manfred Thierry Mugler Dead at 73: Beyonce and More Stars React Posted: 23 Jan 2022 07:20 PM PST Manfred Thierry Mugler died at age 73, according to a statement shared on the fashion designer’s official social media accounts on Sunday, January 23. Mugler’s team shared an image of a plain black box via Instagram. “We are devastated to announce the passing of Mr Manfred Thierry Mugler on Sunday January 23rd 2022. May his soul Rest In Peace,” the caption read. The announcement was also made in French. A cause of death was not immediately announced. The designer was born in Strasbourg, France, in December 1948 and started his career in fashion in his early twenties. He rose to international success in the ’80s and ’90s, and despite retiring from the Mugler brand in 2003, he continued to be influential until his death. Mugler was an artistic director for Beyoncé in 2009, designing costumes for her I Am… World Tour. “Rest in peace,” read a short statement on the 40-year-old’s official website alongside a black-and-white snap of her late colleague. The fashion legend continued to work with pop culture icons, including Lady Gaga and Cardi B, throughout his life. He worked extensively with Kim Kardashian, coming out of retirement to design the reality star’s iconic “wet” dress at the 2019 Met Gala for House of Mugler. The look was inspired by the Sophia Loren in 1957’s Boy on a Dolphin. “This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler,” Kardashian, now 41, told Vogue at the May 2019 event. “So to come and design this gown for me is such an honor. This is about eight months in the making. He envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping." The two worked together many times over the years. He even made her “Cowbot Girl” Halloween costume in October. After his death was announced, Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian shared a photo of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cast wearing the late designer. “All in Mugler Mugler brand’s current artistic director Casey Cadwallader reacted to the news shortly after the announcement was made on Sunday. “Manfred, I am so honored to have known you and to work within your beautiful world,” Cadwallader captioned a photo of the icon. “You changed our perception of beauty, of confidence, of representation and self empowerment. Your legacy is something I carry with me in everything I do. Thank you.” Scroll down to see more stars react to the news of Mugler’s death: ![]() "Rest in peace," a statement on the "Halo" singer's website read. ILYSM! ![]() The mirror selfie showed the Newsroom alum in a tie-dye robe with curlers in her hair while holding baby Malcolm, who she shares with comedian John Mulaney, in her lap. The little one looked content with a pacifier in his mouth while hairstylist Kiley Fitzgerald worked on his mom’s long tresses. Munn had plenty of support in the comments. Kate Hudson shared, “Oh mommy Alli Maki added, “Momma life looks good on u NBC News correspondent Vicky Nguyen offered some encouragement. “ The pampering session comes just days after the X-Men: Apocalypse star opened up about her struggles with breast feeding. "At least someone is making good use of my breast-feeding pillow," the Violet actress joked via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, January 19, alongside a snap of her small dog lounging against the cushion. "Side Note: Breast-feeding is soooo hard, especially if you have low supply." The former Daily Show correspondent added that she had, “taken a million vitamins, countless teas, lozenges, tinctures and worked with two lactation consultants." Us Weekly confirmed on December 18 that Munn gave birth to Malcolm in late November. A week later, the Oklahoma native and Mulaney, 39, formally introduced their bundle of joy on Christmas Eve. Hello Ever! Lea Michele Shares 1st Photo of Her 17-Month-Old Son's Face Posted: 23 Jan 2022 03:47 PM PST What a cutie! Lea Michele shared a photo of son Ever’s face for the first time, and he’s just as adorable as fans imagined. Michele, 35, shared a snap of her husband Zandy Reich on the beach while holding baby Ever. The two wore matching white outfits in the picture, shot by photographer Ashley Barrett. The father-son duo were also twinning with their sunglasses, leaving only part of Ever’s face exposed. Prior to this snap, Michele kept Ever’s face out of her social media posts, coming up with creative ways to avoid showing the baby’s smile. However, it seems she couldn’t resist showing off Ever’s happy face for the AYR clothing brand president’s birthday. “Greatest man, father, husband and friend. I wake up every day so thankful that you are ours Z,” the Glee alum wrote via Instagram on Sunday, January 23. “Happy Birthday! Ever and I love you so much. Reich, 39, and Michele were first linked in July 2017 after years of friendship. They announced their engagement in April 2018 and tied the knot in March 2019. "I get to be married to my best friend, which is the greatest thing in the entire world," the actress told Us Weekly a month after her wedding. She continued, "At this point in my life, I feel the most grounded — and happiest — I ever have." Those feelings have only continued amid her journey as a parent. "I can't believe my son is turning 1 tomorrow. Even now saying the words 'my son' still feels so unbelievable," the “Christmas in New York” singer wrote via Instagram in August. "All of the sayings are true — you will experience a type of love you have never felt before, you will forever be changed, it all goes so fast — they are all so true." The happiness comes after Michele struggled to conceive Ever due to her polycystic ovary syndrome diagnosis (PCOS) diagnosis. "It's easy to manage it in your daily life, but when you're trying to conceive, it's much harder, especially if you have extremely irregular periods. You never really know when you can get pregnant," the Spring Awakening alum explained to Katherine Schwarzenegger during a March 2021 Instagram Live. "On top of that, I had to have multiple procedures to remove polyps and cysts and scar tissue." Michele got pregnant just as she and her husband had given up trying, but she continued to have health problems throughout her pregnancy. "I started bleeding terribly, horribly," the Brunette Ambition author revealed to Schwarzenegger. "I had to tell my mom I was pregnant in the bathroom. That lasted my entire first trimester. I experienced very heavy bleeding, some which was scary to the point that we rushed in the middle of the night to the hospital. Probably every other day, we were certain that this time was definitely it. I was put on an extreme amount of medication, progesterone, to help sustain this pregnancy, and I was put on bed rest for my whole first trimester. That was just horrible, absolutely horrible." Ever, who was breech, arrived via C-section in August 2020. "Everyone's happy and healthy, and they're extremely grateful," a source told Us at the time. "He's been an easy baby so far." |
Kody Brown Considers New Wives Amid Trouble With Janelle and Meri Posted: 23 Jan 2022 03:13 PM PST ![]() A clean slate? Sister Wives star Kody Brown might consider starting new relationships as his old ones deteriorate, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “He is not happy with the other wives threatening to leave,” the insider says. “He’s considering starting fresh with new wives.” Christine Brown left Kody, 53, in November after more than 20 years with the salesman. Christine, 49, shares children Asypen, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11, with her ex. Janelle Brown revealed in a January episode of Sister Wives that she was considering following Christine’s lead. ![]() "I've had to really think. My children are almost grown and there's not a huge necessity anymore to stay. It was a wonderful way to raise children," the 52-year-old told the cameras during season 16, which is currently airing on TLC. "With Kody and I right now, our relationship is pretty strained. And you know, it's easy to walk away." The insider previously told Us that Janelle “meant it” when she told the cameras she was ready for a split. That outlook makes Kody think that he’s better off finding love with new women. “He wants to be with women who can accept the fact that he’s most committed to Robyn and devoting his time to her,” the insider added. Robyn Brown, 43, is the newest partner in the Sister Wives cast, having married the Wyoming native in a spiritual ceremony in 2010 followed by a legal wedding in 2015. Kody divorced Meri Brown, his wife since 1990, in order to wed Robyn and make it easier to adopt her three children from a prior relationship, Dayton, Aurora, and Breanna. Kody previously told Us exclusively that it’s up to the women to leave him. He explained in March 2021 that he wouldn’t initiate a split with any of his partners. "In plural marriage, I don't feel like I've got the right to say, 'This is over, this is ending,’" the reality star explained at the time. "I have dominion over my own body and where I'm at, but I'm not in place where, like, I can say, 'Hey, I'm divorcing you.' I can't do that. However, any one of them, I feel like, can." He added that he has told all of his wives "they can leave" at their discretion. The father of 18 made it clear that he didn’t choose to end his relationship with Christine in his statement after their November split. “Christine's decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her," he wrote via Instagram at the time. "Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents." Sister Wives season 16 airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET. Reporting by Diana Cooper |
Katie Thurston: I Started Taking Antidepressants Before 'Bachelorette' Aired Posted: 23 Jan 2022 02:09 PM PST Getting vulnerable. Before Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette began airing last year, she was in a dark place. Now, she's getting candid about her mental health struggles, even admitting she began taking medication to help deal with her emotions. "I started taking antidepressants for the first time before my season aired. I thought I knew what to expect," Thurston, 30, wrote via a lengthy Instagram message on Friday, January 21, alongside a swimsuit snap where she's blowing the camera a kiss. "I didn't. I thought I was strong enough to handle the negativity. I wasn't. But they say time heals everything." In her social media upload, the former Bachelorette went on to thank her supporters for continuing to "show kindness," noting that "last year somehow feels like 3 years of highs and lows.” ![]() "I remember a producer texting me saying, 'The old Katie is dead and the new Katie will rise from the ashes.' He was right about one thing," the Washington native wrote. "The old Katie did in fact die. But I was not some girl on fire." She continued: "If anything, the sparks I once felt for life were doused with the judgement and criticism of not only strangers, but even ones I worked closely with. I was drowning in my tears, unable to even recognize the girl in the mirror. Was the old me really gone?" Thurston explained how, over time, she was able to quickly block out the online haters "in the most literal sense," by unfollowing social media accounts, limiting her screen time with only a password her boyfriend — John Hersey — knew, and "anything I could do to bring myself out of a dark place." "For those complete strangers who write positive DMs and comments, I want you to know. I see them. I feel them. And there were times I even needed them. So thank you. The former bank marketing manager's highs and lows of the last year began after she joined Bachelor Nation as a contestant on season 25 of The Bachelor. After Matt James sent her packing, the San Diego resident went on to become the season 17 lead of The Bachelorette. After a tumultuous journey, she ended up getting engaged to late arrival Blake Moynes in the August 2021 finale. However, less than three months later, the pair confirmed their split. "It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways," Thurston and the Canada native, 31, wrote via a joint Instagram statement in October 2021. "We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently. We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision." She moved on with Hersey, 28, who also appeared on her season but was eliminated early. The duo confirmed their romance in November 2021. |
Stars Who've Battled Mental Health Issues Posted: 23 Jan 2022 02:08 PM PST Katy Perry, Selena Gomez and more stars have shined a light on what it's really like to deal with mental health issues in the spotlight. Being in the public eye is part of the job when becoming a star, but it can make it more difficult to navigate one's problems. Many stars, however, have used their platform to normalize mental health problems. From sharing stories of postpartum depression to opening up about anxiety and suicidal thoughts, many of Hollywood's biggest names have become more vocal over the years about real-life struggles. Ahead of welcoming her first child with Orlando Bloom, Perry got real about facing bouts of depression and self-doubt in the past during an August 2020 interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe. Following her 2017 breakup and Witness album releases, Perry revealed she became "clinically depressed and had to get on medication for the first time in my life.” The "Roar" singer said she was "so ashamed of it" when she started taking medication. "I was like, ‘I’m Katy Perry. I wrote ‘Firework.’ I’m on medication. This is f—ed up,'" she recalled. The musician later learned how to "quiet it the f—k down" when it came to public criticism and went on a two year "psychological, spiritual, emotional journey." In April 2020, Gomez revealed that she has bipolar disorder and explained that by knowing that truth about herself she was able to feel more at ease. "When I have more information, it actually helps me, it doesn't scare me once I know it," the "Rare" singer said on an episode of Bright Minded: Live With Miley. "When I finally said what I was going to say, I wanted to know everything about it and it took the fear away." Kristen Bell shared her own mental health journey during an interview on Sunday Today With Willie Geist in November 2019, noting that she felt "incredibly irresponsible" for not speaking out sooner. "Everyone thinks there's some shame in it," the Frozen star said at the time. "I am someone who takes a medication for her anxiety and depression. I am someone who has to check myself and sometimes — if I'm feeling really low — make a checklist of good and bad things in my life to see if it's my mental state or if we really have a problem. And me talking about that actually came from [my husband, Dax Shepard]." Demi Lovato, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Jon Hamm have also opted not to hide their issues, instead speaking out about their past demons. "It has been a very low year for me with regard to my mental health, and I am also grateful that part of the reason I can touch my joy again is I finally got the help of some medication," she shared in the New Year's post. The Grammy winner continued, "It's been a journey to try and pull up, and I found this year I needed more help. It is helping. I am relieved and feel more like myself- and I will find my way again and now it feels possible. If you're struggling- I see you, and I hope you remember you're not stuck as long as you're willing to change the view. Begin Again." S Meddle/ITV/Shutterstock ![]() The “Papercuts” singer got candid with Drew Barrymore during a December 2021 episode of her talk show, in which he admitted he struggled with being vulnerable outside of his music. “I see a lot of pictures of me and there's, like, smiles on them," he said. "It's just weird, though, because I didn't feel good at all that day and I kind of am sick of smiling on days when I don't feel like smiling. And I feel like this odd pressure because I don't want, like, my fans to think that I'm taking something for granted." The Dirt actor continued, "So if, like, I accept an award and I'm like, super smiley but behind the scenes … there was, like, stuff going on, or I didn't feel, I don't know, like, a lot of what I do is for other people and I haven't given myself the time to just accept that it's OK to not be OK." AFF-USA/Shutterstock ![]() The Outer Banks actor was was honored by Glenn Close and her Bring Change to Mind organization for his support of mental health awareness, and he opened up about struggling during his teen years. "I remember being 15 and having my first anxiety attack and not knowing how to process it and not knowing where it came from, and wishing I had an outlet to figure out how to understand those things," he said during his speech via E! Online. "This is not for me. This is for the 15-year-old Chase, who didn't know his place in society. And was not sure who he was." Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() The Dopesick star told E! News in November 2021 that he "really struggled" with his mental health throughout the coronavirus pandemic, thanking his Hulu family for being "very empathetic" as he worked through his ups and downs. JM Enternational/Shutterstock ![]() The model took to Instagram in November 2021 to share a clip of Willow Smith discussing feeling "lost" and "confused" alongside several photos of herself crying. She urged followers to take care of their mental health. "Social media is not real. For anyone struggling, please remember that," she wrote in a lengthy caption at the time. "Sometimes all you’ve gotta hear is that you’re not alone. So from me to you, you’re not alone. I love you, I see you, and I hear you. Self help and mental illness/chemical imbalance is not linear and it is almost like a flowing rollercoaster of obstacles … there is always light at the end of the tunnel." She hinted at her own struggles with depression and anxiety, adding, "It took me a long time to get that in my mind, but I’ve had enough breakdowns and burnouts to know this: if you work hard enough on yourself, spending time alone to understand your traumas, triggers, joys, and routine, you will always be able to understand or learn more about your own pain and how to handle it. Which is all that you can ask of yourself. Anyways. Not sure why but it feels harder and harder to not share my truth on here. Thank you for seeing me and thank you for listening." David Fisher/Shutterstock ![]() The Fargo star recalled hitting a wall with her depression during her 20s. The “anger” led to Dunst entering a rehab facility and ultimately starting medication. “I feel like most people around 27, the s--t hits the fan. Whatever is working in your brain, you can't live like that anymore mentally. I feel like I was angry,” she told The Sunday Times in November 2021. “All I'll say is that medication is a great thing and can really help you come out of something. I was afraid to take something and so I sat in it for too long.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() The rapper reflected on losing her mother in March 2019 after a battle with brain cancer. “I’ve lost both of my parents,” she said on Peace of Mind With Taraji in October 2021, also referring to her father’s death when she was a teenager. “Now I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, who do I talk to? What do I do?’ I just started learning that it’s OK to ask for help. It’s OK to want to go get therapy.” She continued: “As a Black person, and when you think of therapy, you think of, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m weak,’ you think of medication, and you just think the worst. That’s kind of what you see on TV too; like, therapy wasn’t even presented in the media as something that was good. Now it’s becoming safe to say, ‘All right now, there’s a little too much going on. Somebody help me.’” Michele Eve Sandberg/Shutterstock ![]() Although the singer works hard to stay on top of her mental health, she admitted that returning to antidepressants initially wasn't her first choice. "I've just been trying to deal day by day. To be honest with you, one of the things that I did — I judged myself a little bit for this, but I got back on antidepressants," JoJo detailed in an interview with Very Well Mind in September 2021. "I wanted to believe that I could clean up my diet, and get out in the sun, and write in my journal, and meditate and do yoga and just be okay. But I needed a little lift." Looking back on it now, the performer doesn't feel bad about needing "a little help." "I'm not ashamed that I did that. It was an important turning point for me," she added. ETIENNE LAURENT/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() The “Driver’s License” crooner opened up about prioritizing her mental health amid fame during an interview with Vogue Singapore, published in September 2021. “I’m taking [fame] one step at a time,” the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star told the magazine. “It can be really tough on your mental health, though. I’m grateful for the people who like me for me, and keep me separated from all the noise and tabloids or what people are saying about me on social media. That’s always been a top priority. It’s funny how recognition changes everything and also changes nothing in your life. The problems I was having a year ago are still the problems I’m having now, and things that brought me joy a year ago are still the things that bring me joy now. It’s just another aspect of life that you need to learn how to deal with, but it doesn’t change who you are as a person." Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() The Full House alum opened up about how she handles her depression in September 2021. She said in addition to the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic, being a working mom and traveling actress can mess with her emotions. “Really another big part why fitness is important for me is it’s so beneficial to my mental health,” Cameron Bure explained in an interview with The Salvation Army. “I not only juggle my family but also work in a lot of different capacities. It can get really difficult. The travel can get strenuous as well. I need to keep my mental health clear. Just sweating that out and all those endorphins really help me a lot. I notice a huge difference when I don’t exercise, how much it can affect me mentally and kind of deal with depression.” Willy Sanjuan/Invision/AP/Shutterstock ![]() In a rare interview, Wilson opened up about how struggles from his childhood went unaddressed. “As a kid, there’s a lot of things that you think about. Death — that kind of landed with me when I was about 11,” the actor explained to Esquire in August 2021. “And I don’t remember ever talking with my parents about it.” Wilson, who attempted suicide in August 2007, said that he tried to speak with his parents at the time. “Although I do remember one time saying to my dad — and I remember exactly where in the house — saying, ‘I worry about dying,’ and seeing my dad turn away and catch himself," he recalled. "And I was surprised to see that reaction. But who knows, maybe that was part of why I said it.” Since then, Wilson shared that he’s in a “lucky place” when it comes to his mental health, "feeling pretty appreciative" now. "I know everything’s kind of up and down, but when you get on one of these waves, you’ve gotta ride it as long as you can,” he noted at the time. “I’ve just felt — yeah. Feeling pretty grateful. Well, grateful’s one of those words that get used all the time. Appreciative. Of, you know, stuff.” Action Press/Shutterstock ![]() "When I was told that I couldn't have what I wanted, what I dream of, what I desired, and that was to rap. I was willing to die for it," the Grammy winner recalled during an episode of "Uncomfortable Conversations With a Black Man" in August 2021, going into detail about attempting suicide when he was 12. "[I] aimed for my heart. How I knew I had mental health problems was I pulled the trigger." Police arrived at the scene, and although the musician was badly injured, he survived. "There is no bar to measure how real. [Mental health is] real," he said. "It's so real that if someone even has the guts, the heart, the bravery, whatever to at least admit that they have something going on up there that they're not sure about, it's so real that we should only react in the realest way possible." Thaddaeus McAdams/Shutterstock In August 2021, Hudson shared a throwback photo of himself with a powerful caption. "Listen kid.. you’re [sic] future’s gonna be good but you’re gonna have to go on antidepressants," he wrote. "Shouldn’t be much of a surprise with that stupid face you’re making.. anyway, good look." ![]() The model admitted that she struggles with "insane social anxiety" that only got worse when she became a public figure. "Partying is not my thing, but I felt enormous pressure to project that image because I assumed that's all people wanted from me," Hadid told Vogue in August 2021. "Now I don't want to live in that box. I definitely feel like I'm allowed to speak." Kathy Hutchins/Shutterstock ![]() “I’ve struggled with anxiety and social anxiety my whole life. I’ve masked it many times and this year has been heavy for all of us,” the stylist wrote via Instagram in August 2021. “Know there is hope. I’ve found it through sobriety and therapy. My life is happy again. I wish this for you all. Thank you for your love this year.” Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() In August 2021, the British actor opened up about how his 2019 stay in rehab was beneficial for his mental health as well as his physical health. “I went through some mental health difficulties after [Game of] Thrones — and during the end of Thrones, to be honest — and I think it was directly to do with the nature of the show and what I’ve been doing for years,” he said during an interview on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show. “I think I took a sort of break after Thrones where I said, ‘I don’t want to work for a year. I want to really kind of concentrate on myself.' I’m really happy I did that.” Later that month, he detailed his "traumatic" struggles in an interview with the Sunday Times, sharing that some of his troubles included alcohol. “You get to a place where you feel like you are a bad person, you feel like you are a shameful person. And you feel that there’s no way out, that’s just who you are. And getting sober is the process of going, ‘No, I can change,'" he said of his state of mind before going to rehab in 2019, admitting that he experienced suicidal thoughts. "I will give you an answer to that question: the answer is yes. Yes of course. I went through periods of real depression where I wanted to do all sorts of things. ... I definitely don’t want to be seen as a martyr or special. I’ve been through something, it’s my stuff. If it helps someone, that’s good." KCS Presse/MEGA ![]() Smith’s May 2021 performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon triggered memories of an anxiety attack she had before a live performance of “Whip My Hair” when she was younger. "I was doing the Jimmy Fallon performance and I had a flashback of being, like, 10 or 9 and, like, having an anxiety attack on set,” Smith explained on a July 2021 episode of “The Yungblud Podcast” for BBC Sounds. “And basically feeling like everyone around me was just, 'You're just a brat… Why aren't you grateful? You're having an anxiety attack,' but they didn't see it as an anxiety attack. They saw it like a tantrum.” The “Transparent Soul” singer explained that she needed to “take time” to process those feelings after reliving the attack. "I will never forget that seemingly simple question that came with a heavy answer," she wrote. "I'm the girl that is always wearing a smile! How dare he ask?! But oh, thank God he did." "'No…. I'm not. I don't even remember the last time I felt happy. And I don't know why. I have reason to be happy, but I just can't really feel it,' I said through broken words passing through the lumps of emotions that had felt indefinitely lodged in my throat," the Dancing With the Stars champ admitted. "I couldn't keep up the act anymore. For years, I silently struggled internally as I was externally championed as the one who always seemed happy. I honestly think that day in the doctor's office was the first time someone asked me if I was indeed, happy." "Admitting I wasn't okay, and acknowledging my silent, hostage struggle with anxiety and depression through my crocodile tears was a pivotal day for me," she continued. "I have made big leaps of progress in healing and understanding 'its okay not to be okay', with important tools and support to help manage the thoughts and feelings that take over and store within me. But several times in my progress, I have had setbacks; many being the overflow of not observing, in private, the gradual buildup of the hurtful, impactful emotions which consequently spewed into some, more public, relapses of destructive behavior. " Brown added that it's important to remember that "progress in mental health is a journey with hills and valleys. Our whole world has been through a valley of fear and hurt this year. Be gentle with yourself. Be humble during the process. You aren't going to always get it right and you will make mistakes, but you—just as you are, are enough. You matter. Ask for help. "I have that and I'm really trying to work on that right now because sometimes our minds go to our worst-case scenario. " The gymnast revealed that it’s not as easy as simply telling yourself to have a positive mindset. "I feel like for people who don't understand it, they're like, ‘Just don't think about it.' It does not work like that!" she said. "It's so hard because I've been trying to really educate myself on how our minds work just so I can help myself but also just so I can better talk about it and better understand it on a personal level with my family or my friends but also on a public level as well." The Fierce author has continually tried to educate herself on OCD and chose to discuss her personal struggles in hopes of helping others who suffer from the same thing. "So much of the time, our minds don't really realize what's made up and what's real and that's what I struggle with so much is that fight or flight response where it can be something so small and my body is reacting as if a tiger is trying to eat me," she explained. "In my opinion, it relates to trauma and PTSD. You just drop it all and that's when you can really have fun." Although the British actress has made strides in her mental health journey, she sometimes struggles. ”I still lay in bed at like eleven o'clock at night telling myself all the things I hate about myself,” she noted. “There's still a journey, I think. But at least dropping the act and just being who you truly are, I think that's definitely a first step; not trying to be who you want me to be right now in this moment.” Charles McQuillan/Getty Images ![]() The Grammy-nominated artist revealed to fans via Twitter on April 15, 2019, that she is bipolar. “For the longest time, I didn’t understand why I felt so sick,” she wrote. “Why I felt lows that made me not want to leave my house or be around people and why I felt highs that wouldn’t let me sleep, wouldn’t let me stop working or creating music. Now I know why. I’m bipolar and I’m not ashamed anymore.” FREDERIC J. I wasn’t feeling like myself and I couldn’t figure out why,” Sean said in a series of Instagram posts at the time. “I stepped back from everything I was doing, from everything I had going on because somewhere in the middle of it, I just felt lost. I started therapy. I got a good therapist. I was blessed enough to talk to some super spiritual people and they made me realize one thing that I was missing in my life. And one thing I was missing was clarity. Clarity about who was around me, what I was doing—even in music, which is my happiness, my joy, that was always an escape for me, was starting to feel like a burden.” Vivien Killilea/Getty Images for Roc Nation ![]() The Game of Thrones actress opened up about her mental health struggle in an interview with Rolling Stone in March 2019. “Depression for sure, anxiety, all of those things,” she explained of what she suffers from. “I still experience it, but I had therapy, I’m on medication, and I feel so much better. LOL! Shawn Mendes Takes a Spill During Weekend Hike Posted: 23 Jan 2022 12:40 PM PST Even the stars take a tumble every once in a while! Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian and Michael B. Jordan are just a few celebrities who've completely wiped out while the cameras have been rolling. The American Hustle actress had a series of slipping spells in February 2013 while she was on the award show circuit. Ahead of the 2013 BAFTA Awards, Lawrence attended a dinner with her Silver Linings Playbook costar Bradley Cooper in London but had a bit of a misstep outside the restaurant. Lawrence was spotted tripping on a curb at the time and losing her shoe as fans looked on. Later that month, the Kentucky native faceplanted at the 2013 Oscars in Hollywood as she walked up accept the award for Best Actress for Silver Linings Playbook. "You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell — it's really embarrassing," Lawrence said after being helped up and to the podium to receive her award. "This is nuts!" Two years later, Lawrence's Hunger Games costar Liam Hemsworth revealed whether she really is as clumsy as she seems during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. The Australia native explained that Lawrence falling is "not at all" part of an elaborate act. "She's terrible at walking," he said in November 2015, referencing the time that the actress broke her high heel while walking a red carpet with him. "She got down the stairs there, and we got to the back of the theater and one of her heels broke, and she went down," Hemsworth recalled of a Hunger Games London premiere. "Thankfully, it was at the back of the theater so only a couple of people saw her. I picked her up and she only has one heel on, so I'm walking her out, [but then] we get outside the theater and a friend of mine comes up and I'm like, 'Hey, good to see you!' and I let go." Lawrence, for her part, later addressed her tendency to slip, especially during the 2013 Oscars while appearing on the "Absolutely Not with Heather McMahan" podcast in October 2020. The X-Men: Dark Phoenix star explained that "for a very long time, the fall thing was very sensitive" for her, but she has since started to look back it "fondly." Lawrence also revealed that she and Anderson Cooper had a bit of a fallout after the incident when he claimed that she was faking it. "It was so devastating because it was this horrific humiliation to me," she recalled, noting she eventually spoke with Cooper about his comments. "I don't know if I'll ever have a chance to give a speech like that again, so it didn't feel good for me not to have a speech." Cooper later apologized for saying she was faking the whole thing, with Lawrence adding, "I think we're good friends now." Bachelorette Hannah Brown and BF Adam Woolard’s Relationship Timeline Posted: 23 Jan 2022 12:00 PM PST Coming up roses! Hannah Brown may not have found love on The Bachelorette, but her relationship with Adam Woolard has fans rooting for their happily ever after. The former Bachelorette, who looked for love on season 15 of the ABC show, which aired in 2019, was first linked to Woolard in January 2021 after eagle-eyed fans identified him as the mystery man from her Nashville photos the same month. The duo were spotted holding hands days later in Los Angeles, but they didn't confirm the relationship until Valentine's Day the following month. Brown's friend and fellow Bachelor Nation star Matt James did, however, comment on the budding romance in early February 2021, telling Entertainment Tonight that he had met the model already. "I couldn't approve more," James said at the time. "He's incredible." After posting photos with each other on the February holiday, the couple became more public about their romance. In March 2021, the Dancing With the Stars winner did a Q&A on her YouTube channel where she detailed different parts of her and Woolard's life together. "Life tends to assume a flow state when values and purpose are aligned The following month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the relationship is "blossoming" and shows signs of turning into "something serious." The insider noted that Brown is "really excited" about her new man, especially because "their lifestyles are very similar." Woolard feels the same way, according to the source, who told Us, "He even posted about 'values and purpose' aligning, and you can tell he's just as happy having her in his life." The former pageant queen's parents also "adore" Woolard and think he is a "great match for her," the insider added. As the romance has progressed the couple haven't been shy about their feelings for one another. When Brown launched her clothing collaboration with L.A.-based line Show Me Your Mumu in May 2021, her boyfriend was quick to congratulate her. "Many have seen you shine on TV, but few get to see how hard you work," he gushed in an Instagram post at the time. "How thoughtful you are … and how you care for others … every single day." The same month, the southern belle wished Woolard a happy birthday, sharing videos of them dancing together throughout their relationship. "You radiate goodness, positivity, and joy. I'm so thankful to be surrounded by your shine," she captioned the clip. Ex-Playmate Brande Roderick Defends Hugh Hefner Amid ‘Cult-Like' Claims Posted: 23 Jan 2022 11:28 AM PST ![]() Weighing in. Amid Holly Madison's allegations about her Playboy Mansion experience in the Secrets of Playboy docuseries, former Playmate Brande Roderick is sharing her memories. "For me, I have a real fond love for Hef, he was a wonderful person," Roderick, 47, told Ashleigh Banfield during a Friday, January 21, appearance on her Banfield NewsNation show. "I learned about art, I learned about music, you know, big band and jazz, old classic films. I learned grace from Hef, that's one thing that I learned and got to see firsthand is the way that this major iconic man, who's super famous, would react with everybody. … He was just so graceful, which is something you don't see a lot of times from celebrities in Hollywood." In the A&E documentary, which released a trailer earlier this week, participants detailed allegations about a "cult-like" atmosphere at the mansion and what the infamous parties were actually like. The 2000 Playmate of the Year, for her part, doubled down on her pro-Playboy stance: "Well, you're talking to someone who was there in the '70s. For me, it was not like that whatsoever. In fact, there was one night at one party where security came to Hef and said, 'There’s somebody doing cocaine in the bathroom.' He had them kicked out and never allowed at the mansion again. He was very much against drugs." The Baywatch alum further claimed: "How about the girls there preying on these rich men? I mean, come on, that's ridiculous. … They were all there at their free will: No one was holding a gun to their head." Roderick discussed her disapproval at many of the former models who have only started speaking out after Hugh Hefner's death. (He died in September 2017 at the age of 91.) "I feel so sad that I even have to defend him because he's such an amazing person who has done so much for so many people," she added. "And the fact that some women are coming out because maybe they have a book coming out, maybe they want 15 more minutes of fame, maybe they're out of it, whatever, and to do it now, after he's dead, when he cannot defend himself, to me is disgusting." She continued, "Why not go on the other documentaries that have been made while he was alive and say these things about him? … He's not those things." Earlier this week, Madison made headlines after likening her mansion residency to being in a "cult" during a sneak peek of Secrets of Playboy. "We were all kind of gaslit and expected to think of Hef as, like, this really good guy," the Vegas Diaries author, 42, said in the clip. "You started to feel like, 'Oh, he's not what they say in the media — he's just a nice man.' … You had a 9 o'clock curfew, you were encouraged to not have friends over. You weren't really allowed to leave unless it was, like, a family holiday. I kept my waitressing job one day a week because I just wanted something easy to go back to, should things not work out. He said it made him jealous, and he would appreciate it if I quit my job." Amid the Girls Next Door alum's claims, the company issued their own a statement to E! News about the allegations. "Today's Playboy is not Hugh Hefner's Playboy," the brand said on Thursday, January 20. "We trust and validate these women and their stories and we strongly support those individuals who have come forward to share their experiences. … We will never be afraid to confront the parts of our legacy as a company that do not reflect our values today. We are committed to our ongoing evolution as a company and to driving positive change for our communities." |
Kanye West and Julia Fox Make 1st Public Appearance in Matching Outfits Posted: 23 Jan 2022 10:20 AM PST Forming a bond in an unexpected place. Nearly one year after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, the musician publicly moved on with Julia Fox. West, who married Kardashian in 2014, was linked to Irina Shayk and model Vinetria before he celebrated New Year’s Eve with Fox. The Gotham Awards nominee, for her part, was married to Peter Artemiev before meeting the songwriter. Shortly after West and Fox were spotted together in January 2022, Us Weekly confirmed that the pilot filed for divorce from the actress two years prior. The exes welcomed a son six months after their divorce proceedings were finalized in July 2020. Fox previously opened up about the ups and downs in her relationship with her ex, referring to Artemiev as a “deadbeat dad” in December 2021. “This man left me with a 5 month old and a dog and a home and ALL THE BILLS. It's wrong!!! It's not fair," Fox claimed in an Instagram Story. "He 1000 percent intentionally got me pregnant, It's a blessing. I'm happy about it. I would not change it.” Artemiev denied the accusations, telling Page Six in a statement, "I was saddened to learn of the utterly false statements made on social media by Julia Fox, my coparent, who is clearly struggling. Out of respect for her privacy and to protect our child, I will not comment further." While speaking to The Cut, Fox apologized for bringing up her issues with her ex on social media. “My son's father and I had our issues and I wanted to scare him into being a better dad, but I went about it the wrong way,” she explained at the time. “My son's dad loves his son more than anything in the world. He just has some issues that I shouldn't have made public." One month later, Fox confirmed that she started dating West — who swept her off her feet with one-of-a-kind experiences. “I mean, I’m still in shock,” she wrote in a post for Interview in January 2022. “Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment. I don’t know how he did it, or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date!” The artist gushed about her “organic” courtship with West, saying, “I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future, I’m loving the ride.” The Puppet star later shared her thoughts on how she became the Chicago native’s "muse." "You know, I'm so used to being f—ked over in relationships, so I keep waiting for him to disappoint me because he makes very grandiose promises, and it's like, 'How could he ever pull it off with all the other things he has going on?' But he always does," Fox told Interview that same month. "Right now, the vibes I'm getting are very much about tolerance, kindness, and love. I'm canceling cancel culture and putting an end to this black-and-white thinking. People shouldn't be defined by their darkest moment. As humans, we commit violence to each other, we police each other. We've created such a hostile environment, especially on the internet." Scroll down to relive Fox and West’s whirlwind romance: ![]() West and Fox were first spotted spending time together on New Year's Eve in Miami. They were later photographed getting close during a dinner at Carbone in New York. At the time, a source exclusively told Us that the duo were "having fun" during the "casual" outing. The insider added that West "wanted to get to know her better" after they initially connected through mutual friends. Shutterstock (2) ![]() While speaking with Interview magazine in January 2022, Fox reflected on her "instant connection" with the rapper. "His energy is so fun to be around," the actress said shortly after their outings made headlines. "He had me and my friends laughing, dancing and smiling all night. We decided to keep the energy going and fly back to New York City to see Slave Play. Ye's flight landed at six and the play was at seven and he was there ON TIME. I was impressed." She continued: "After the play we chose to do dinner at Carbone which is one of my favorite restaurants. Obviously. At the restaurant, Ye directed an entire photo shoot for me while people dined! The whole restaurant loved it and cheered us on while it was happening." Shutterstock (2) ![]() That same month, the Uncut Gems star opened up about moving on from her marriage to Artemiev with the Yeezy designer. “The overall message is that if ur in a toxic relationship, get out of it cuz u never know who or what could be waiting on the other side," she told New York Magazine's The Cut at the time. Fox also addressed talk about her romance with West happening "so quickly," saying, "I’m going with the universe and the flow and seeing where it takes me." Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock; Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock ![]() After Fox and West publicly packed on the PDA one day after Kardashian's date night with Pete Davidson, the Italy native shut down claims that her relationship was a PR stunt. "I feel like, to the people who know us both personally, like, all the people that we have in common, like, friends in common, have texted me like, 'Oh, my God, this makes so much sense,'" Fox shared on the "Forbidden Fruits" podcast in January 2022. "There's always people that think every single celebrity scandal is a setup. I personally don't." For the No Sudden Move star, her new connection with West came from a "meta" place. "Listen, for right now, I'm just living in the moment and I don't have any expectations — there's no labels, none of that. It's just people that make each other feel better," she said at the time. "We were all connected, like even prior. You know what I mean? We're all artists." Shutterstock (2) ![]() In January 2022, Fox recalled how her romance with West included him offering input into her wardrobe. “My transformation [was the wildest thing he created for me]. After meeting him, a couple days later, all my s—t was in boxes, gone. It was so cathartic,” she told Interview. “It wasn’t like I was just packing up my old clothes, it was like I was packing up my old life. I was like making that very conscious decision to really put everything in the box. To let go of the past.” Even though Fox considered herself "such a control freak," she found the process refreshing. “I’ve been the primary caretaker of everyone for so long, so it’s a new sensation, but honestly, I think I deserve it. Even a month ago, I was so f—king like not getting along with my son’s father or not having help. It was just me alone. I was so tired and everything was work," she added. "And then a few days later there I am with Ye, and it was the most instant natural organic attraction and connection. I just feel really safe with him. It’s a redemption story.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() "It's funny cause I'm getting all of this attention, but I really couldn't care," Fox said on the January 21, 2022, episode of her "Forbidden Fruits" podcast. She claimed that West wasn't her first beau with a high net worth, adding, "People are like 'Oh, you're only in it for the fame, you're in it for the clout, you're in it for the money.' Honey, I've dated billionaires my entire adult life, let's keep it real." Fox would prefer people pay attention to her work. "Watch my movie, read my book," she added. "That is more thrilling to me now than eyes on me. I couldn't care less." Shutterstock (2) |
Blinded by Love! The Weeknd's Dating History Through the Years Posted: 23 Jan 2022 10:00 AM PST Love in the sky! Throughout his tenure in the spotlight, The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) is no stranger to high-profile relationships, romancing the likes of Bella Hadid, Selena Gomez and more. "I do feel guilty. For sure. That's why I don't. I try not to do too much," the "Blinding Lights" crooner told GQ in August 2021 about seldom dating non-famous women. "I just try not to bring attention to myself. And I just love being in normal situations, man. It's such a great feeling. To be able to just like go on a walk and not being in a f—king SUV." The musician was linked with Hadid from May 2015 to November 2016. After a brief split, they rekindled their romance in April 2018. The duo called it quits for the second time in August 2019. “If I’d met someone two years ago, I probably would’ve f—ked it up. But I’m more … clear-thinking now," he told Rolling Stone in October 2015 about his connection with the Kin Euphorics founder. Hadid, for her part, also couldn't help but gush over their pre-split bond, telling Glamour in August 2016, "[The Grammys] was a big night for him. He has worked so hard, and he did so well that night. As a girlfriend, I wanted to be there to support him. Seeing him so happy when he won a Grammy made me so happy." She added at the time: "I'm dating Abel. I don't see him as The Weeknd. I'm proud of The Weeknd and the music he makes, but I really love Abel." Following his split from Yolanda Hadid's daughter, the "Party Monster" performer has been linked to the likes of Yovanna Ventura, Rosalia, the Only Murders in the Building star and Angelina Jolie. The Eternals actress and The Weeknd's romance first made headlines in July 2021 after they were spotted on several dinner dates. Months later, a source exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2021 that the California native "lights up" while discussing their budding relationship. "Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on," the insider added, noting that the Canada native is "in awe of" the Oscar winner and that "things could turn romantic." "She's definitely warming toward Abel," the source told Us at the time. "He's been pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her." Amid speculation about the pair's dating status, eagle-eyed fans believed that the musician discussed their love on his Dawn FM record, which was released in January 2022. "My new girl, she's a movie star," The Weeknd sang on his "Here We Go… Again" single. "I loved her right / Make her scream like Neve Campbell. But I make her laugh / Swear it cures my depressing thoughts / 'Cause, baby girl, she a movie star / Baby girl, she a movie star / I told myself that I'd never fall / But here we go again." Garrett Hedlund Arrested for Public Intoxication After Emma Roberts Split: Report Posted: 23 Jan 2022 09:17 AM PST ![]() In custody. One day after Garrett Hedlund's breakup from Emma Roberts made headlines, he has been arrested for public intoxication. The Country Strong star, 37, was taken into custody in Franklin County, Tennessee, on Saturday, January 23, TMZ reported, noting that bond has been set at $2,100 for the misdemeanor. At the time of publication, he had not yet posted bond and remains in jail. Us previously confirmed hours earlier that he and the Scream Queens alum 30, had called it quits on their relationship after nearly three years together. The exes — who share son Rhodes, 12 months — had listed their shared Los Angeles residence one month earlier. Amid the breakup news, Hedlund released his debut music single, seemingly crooning about a tumultuous relationship. "4000 miles to just be still / Was It worth It / I said goodbye and I love you as well / I know you heard it," the Minnesota native sang on "The Road," which was released on Friday, January 21. "But the road has ways / Of taking away things that you know / The road has ways / Of saying you'll stay, but you don't / The road has ways of making mistakes." The Modern Love alum added in the ballad: "I am home now and I haven't called / I know you're hurting / I said goodbye and I love you as well / You're sure you heard it." Us confirmed in June 2020 that Roberts and Hedlund — who were first linked in March 2019 — were expecting their first child. "Garrett is really looking forward to becoming a dad and feels as though this is something he needed," a source exclusively told Us in November 2020. "He is ready to take on all the daddy duties, and Emma getting pregnant has forced him to become more responsible. He thinks that's a blessing." Us previously broke the news in November 2020 that Hedlund had been arrested for driving under the influence that January with a blood alcohol level four times the legal limit. He was arrested on two DUI charges. During his sentencing in February 2020, he was found guilty on one charge — which he pleaded no contest — and the other was dismissed. "When the incident occurred, Garrett immediately sought treatment which was successful," the actor's rep told Us at the time. "Today, he is in a solid and great place." After the hearing, the Mudbound actor was required to complete a 30-day residential treatment program and a nine-month first-offender alcohol and drug education counseling program, per the court docs. Years earlier, he had been arrested in Idaho in 2006 for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A rep for Hedlund could not be reached for comment. |
Yellowjackets’ Melanie Lynskey and Jason Ritter’s Relationship Timeline Posted: 23 Jan 2022 09:00 AM PST Just like the movies! Melanie Lynskey and Jason Ritter's love story closely resembles a Hollywood romance — complete with a workplace meet-cute that led to their happily ever after. The duo first met while filming 2013's The Big Ask and went on to star in two more movies together before announcing in February 2017 that they got engaged. "Now he's my fiancé," Lynskey said during an appearance on Hollywood Today Live at the time. "Yes, I know, I'm announcing it." Less than two years later, Us Weekly broke the news in January 2019 that the Yellowjackets star and the Parenthood alum welcomed their first child. Lynskey confirmed her daughter’s arrival later that month, revealing that the little one was born in December 2018. "We feel lucky to have been able to have our news just be for friends and family for a while, but I guess the story got out, so! Yes!" the Two and a Half Men alum tweeted in January 2019. "We love her so much; she's perfect." She went on to jokingly clarify a few details that were circulating, writing, “I would like to correct a couple of things that have been stated in articles online: 1) Jason was NOT in Boy Meets World and wow that would have been pretty easy to check. 2) I did NOT welcome the baby ‘quietly,’ I was blasting A$AP Rocky and yelling a lot.” Since welcoming their baby girl, the couple have continued to keep their relationship and home life somewhat private. They have, however, poked fun at each other on social media from time to time. In October 2021, Lynskey trolled her man after he promoted multiple auction items for a Huntington's Disease Society of America fundraiser but failed to mention a prize that featured a hangout with the Sweet Home Alabama actress. "VERY SURPRISED that Jason chose to focus on the fact that you can bid on amazing original artwork by @_AlexHirsch @DanaTerrace & more, and NOT on the fact that you could win a zoom with me, but that's ok, Jason," Lynskey joked via Twitter. "Get a zoom with me OR amazing original artwork, you decide." Ritter quickly responded to his partner, writing, "Hahaha!! I did a TikTok Live where I was very explicit about what a huge deal it is for a generally introverted person to donate a zoom!" The California native made it clear that he appreciated Lynskey, adding, "I love you so much, and thank you for looking after our daughter the whole time I'm doing this event tonight!! The Candy star replied, "You are so cute. Somehow I missed that TikTok," to which Ritter joked, "One day you'll follow me on TikTok." Lynskey wrapped things up by tweeting, "And I love you too." Three months later, Ritter again showed Lynskey love via Twitter, this time in honor of her interview with Rolling Stone where she opened up about sexism in Hollywood and her hit Showtime series, Yellowjackets. "I love this incredible person," he simply wrote in January 2022 while resharing the article. Wells Jokes ‘Modern Family’ Stars Give Better Gifts Than His ‘Bachelor’ Pals Posted: 23 Jan 2022 08:00 AM PST One way or another, Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland are going to make it down the aisle in 2022 — and receive gifts off their registry from their A-list friends. "Third time’s a charm," the 37-year-old Bachelor in Paradise star during a joint interview with Ben Higgins ahead of their participation in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. "We had to postpone two years in a row because of this pandemic. So I think we’re hoping [this year it's] going to happen. And I think I’ve told you this before, if it doesn’t, then we’re getting a limo and it’s some bad suits and we’re going to Vegas and we’re just knocking this thing out cause eventually, we need to get married." Adams and Hyland, 31, started dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2019. "We were doing the math and we’ve been engaged longer than we were dating. That’s not good, but it feels like we’re married," he continued. "I mean, we bought a house together, we have two dogs together. At this point we just want to have the big celebration for all of our rich friends to give us amazing gifts because I need a Le Creuset, I need a stand mixer for all the things I’m going to cook, and we don't have that yet. So the heads of ABC and Disney, we need you to get in that registry soon!" The former radio host and Higgins, who tied the knot in November 2021, went on to joke that Adams and Hyland will get better gifts from her Modern Family costars than members of Bachelor Nation. "We don’t offer a lot, let’s be honest. We’re going from the Target," Higgins quipped. "We’re going on the other side. And those other alums can go, you know, for the new car." Adams added, "Ty Burnell and Julie Bowen, those are the people that are really gonna give the good gifts. I’m not sure if Ben’s hooking it up with was some amazing stand mixer." "I do love Wells," Higgins clarified. "I care about him." The Bachelorette season 12 alum noted that if Higgins does "well" in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, he will have "some extra spending cash" for his gift. Adams added that he "learned a lot" from attending the season 20 Bachelor's nuptials to Jessica Clarke last year. "I'm gonna implement some of the things that we’ve found at his beautiful wedding into ours," he told Us. "I was an usher and I 'ushed' the hell out of that wedding guys. Listen — you guys think I’m a good bartender? You’ve never seen me 'ush' before. But as an usher, I got a little goodie bag and Ben gave all of us underwear with his face on it and made us all wear [them] that day. … So [now] my face is gonna be on [Ben's] junk on our wedding night." The two reality stars also brought the now-infamous underwear to the Orlando, Florida, golf tournament, which they are playing at in support of the LPGA. "It's the best women golfers in the world. Last year, they had to win a tournament to get into this one," Wells told Us. "With a bunch of celebrities who are terrible at golf, and we're all gonna go play golf together on the Golf Channel and on NBC. … It's kind of a bummer to know that these amazing athletes on the LPGA, like, if they win a tournament, it's not as much as the guys do and that doesn't seem fair because they are so freaking good at this game. And so I think that's kind of the idea of why we are here to get more eyes on the sport. … It's insane how good these women are at golf."

Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann’s Relationship Timeline Posted: 23 Jan 2022 06:03 AM PST Mariska Hargitay should thank Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for more than decades on the air. The hit NBC drama also introduced her to husband Peter Hermann. The couple, who tied the knot in August 2004, began their lasting relationship after the Younger star made a guest appearance on the show during season 3 in 2002. Hermann continued his role as Trevor Langan to Hargitay's Olivia Benson throughout the series' run, popping in from time to time as their offscreen romance thrived. Two years after their wedding, the pair welcomed son August in June 2006. They kept expanding their family in 2011, adopting daughter Amaya and son Andrew within months of each other. While the actors remain private the majority of the time, Hargitay opened up to Us Weekly in June 2018 about balancing her professional success with motherhood. "It's hard. I'm not going to say it's easy, it's hard. I'm learning to [balance]. I try to be super present with where I am," she explained. "When I'm at work, I'm at work. When I'm with my kids, I'm with my kids." Still, the Emmy winner knows how to make it all work — with help from Hermann, of course. "There are days I go home and just cry. There have been days when I didn't see my kids. Those are the days I'm like, 'Maybe I'm done [filming Law & Order: SVU],'" she admitted. "But now, this is a gift of doing something for 20 years. We're such a well-oiled machine. I go in there and I'm like, 'Guys, I've got a kids thing. I'm out.' They're like, 'Got it, boom.'" Hargitay also knows the importance of alone time with the actor, whom she frequently jets away with on travels around the world. Not only do fans admire Hargitay's marriage to Hermann, but they also ship her SVU character with Christopher Meloni's alter ego Elliot Stabler, who is Benson's former partner. After the trio were jokingly referred to as one of the most "progressive marriages in Hollywood," the Blue Bloods star noted on E! News' Daily Pop in May 2021, "We make it work." In fact, the actors are all friends off screen. "Sometimes Chris and I have some things to negotiate, but we've gotten really good at communicating with each other," Hermann said. "There's a lot of give and take. In the end, all three of us are really happy." Adrian Grenier: A Day in My Life Posted: 23 Jan 2022 06:00 AM PST Everyone deserves a break! Adrian Grenier has his plate full with work, but even stars find time for vacation. The Entourage alum, 45, recently traveled to Miami for a relaxing getaway, but prior to his trip, he opened up about his quiet life in Texas, where he plans to stay "for the foreseeable future." "I used to just fly over Texas," Grenier exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2021, noting that he found it "funny" that he settled down in the state. "I always thought that I'd end up moving [to] upstate New York. But I do really, really love Texas. I love the heat. I love the weather. [Spending] many years in New York as a young child, it was just too cold. I'm over it. I can do without the cold these days. Twenty years ago, I would not have believed that I'd be living in Texas on a ranch outside the city. It's a weird dream come true." Now that the actor has found his home base, he hopes that a family is in his future. "I'm always ready [to have kids]," he revealed at the time. "I grew up as an only child so I crave family. I crave community. I'm always, always ready for that." After years in show business, Grenier has taken the time to reflect on some of his most well-known projects, including The Devil Wears Prada. More than a decade after the 2006 rom-com's release, he reacted to criticism of his character, Nate. "When that whole thing [about Nate being the 'real villain' of the film] first came out, I couldn't get my head around it. I didn't understand it. Perhaps it was because I wasn't mature as a man, just as Nate probably could've used a little growing up," the New Mexico native told Entertainment Weekly in June 2021. "I was just as immature as him at the time, so I couldn't see his shortcomings, but after taking time to reflect and much deliberation online, I can realize the truth in that perspective. Nate hadn't grown up, but [Anne Hathaway's character] Andy had. … She needed more out of life, and she was achieving it." While Hathaway, 39, defended her onscreen boyfriend, Grenier doubled down. "He couldn't support her like she needed because he was a fragile, wounded boy," he added. "On behalf of all the Nates out there: Come on! Step it up!" Want to see Grenier's day in action? Keep scrolling through the photos below to discover how he spends his time. ![]() The Clickbait star is a devoted environmental activist — which means when he travels, he prefers to do it as sustainably as possible. “I try to reduce my carbon footprint wherever I go,” says Grenier, who’s on holiday in Miami. This pure and fantastic, concentrated elixir is a psychoactive alternative and contains less than 0,3% Delta-9 THC within its formula. If you're a beginner with Delta-9 and before you have used only Delta-8 alternatives, there's something you should not miss and prepare yourself for an incredible journey through the cannabis space. The difference between Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC Although both come from the same cannabis plant and many people think they are similar, Delta-8 and 9 are very different. Before starting your cannabis journey, you must always know this difference for higher safety and self-protection. In essence, Delta-8 and Delta-9 are different in:
It is essential to note that Delta-9 THC can be found in abundance in the potent cannabis plant. The extraction is usually more straightforward than Delta-8 because it tends to be derived from the marijuana plant specifically. On the other hand, we can say that the extraction of Delta-8 THC requires more work and effort, and that's because Delta-8 is a minor cannabinoid in comparison with Delta-9 THC.
One of the most significant distinctions between Delta-8 and Delta-9 is also the effect that these potent cannabinoids provide. This can be typically the deciding factor that influences the decision of millions of people who don't know what to choose. It is good to know that Delta-9 is considerably more potent and produces stronger effects than Delta-9. While Delta-8 promotes serenity and overall calmness, Delta-9 promotes more psychotropic and energized feelings.
As you probably know, marijuana is not legal in every country across the USA. The most significant difference between these two active compounds is also the legality of Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC. It is good to know that Delta-8 THC is technically legal in almost every US country, while Delta-9 THC is not that widespread yet. Dosage While Delta-9 has psychotropic effects on the body and mind, you shouldn't exceed the suggested dosage, whether you're a beginner or an experienced user. It is recommended to put a few oil drops under your tongue and not overdose yourself because it is well-known that Delta-9 THC is more potent than Delta-8 and produces more harmful side effects. Side effects of Delta-9 THC The side effects of using Delta-9 THC are harsher than Delta-8 produces. When overdosing with Delta-9 THC oil or other alternatives, you can experience panic reactions, disconnected thoughts, disturbing changes in perception, and delusions and hallucinations. Before starting your Delta-9 journey, you must be aware of the adverse effects and enjoy the benefits instead of overdosing and having negative experiences. Benefits of Delta-9 THC In countries where Delta-9 THC is entirely legal, people are fortunate, we might add. It is always crucial to know that Delta-9 THC has many health benefits for both body and mind. Delta-9 THC is perfect for relaxing your mind, chronic pain and migraines, nausea relief, infections, lung protection, and helps to manage PTSD symptoms. It is also good to note that this active compound is perfect for keeping a youthful look in the mirror. FAQs About Delta 9 THC Oil & TinctureQ1.
