Pamela Anderson, Husband Dan Hayhurst Are 'Taking Time Apart' Posted: 20 Jan 2022 11:19 AM PST ![]() Pressing pause. Pamela Anderson and bodyguard Dan Hayhurst are “taking time apart” after one year of marriage, multiple sources exclusively tell Us Weekly. The twosome tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in the backyard of her home on Vancouver Island in Canada on Christmas Eve 2020. They met at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic earlier that year and hadn’t “been getting along” recently, one source tells Us. “Pamela rushed into [the] marriage,” the insider adds, noting that Anderson, 54, was “having regrets” about the whirlwind relationship. “She saw the marriage as a fresh start, but the spark has faded.” Hayhurst, however, is holding out hope that he and the Baywatch actress might reconcile. “He really wants to make the marriage work,” the source tells Us. A second insider tells Us, “Pam left Dan and his kids without a single goodbye” after the holidays, adding, “Now the kids are heartbroken.” The former Playboy model, for her part, was recently spotted in Malibu with another man — and her wedding band was noticeably missing from her left hand. While the duo laid relatively low following their surprise nuptials, the Scary Movie 3 actress previously gushed over her strong chemistry with Hayhurst. “I’m exactly where I need to be — in the arms of a man who truly loves me,” she told the Daily Mail in January 2021. “I feel like I’ve come full circle.” Anderson was previously married to Tommy Lee, with whom she shares sons Brandon Thomas, 25, and Dylan, 24, from 1995 to 1998. Following her tumultuous relationship with the drummer, 59, the Canada native briefly moved on with Kid Rock before marrying Rick Salomon in October 2007. ![]() Two months after exchanging vows in Las Vegas, Anderson and the producer, 53, separated. In February 2008, the Dancing With the Stars alum requested an annulment, claiming her marriage was fraudulent. Several years later, the twosome patched things up, with Anderson revealing during an October 2013 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she and Salomon were “friends with benefits.” Anderson announced the following January that she and the New Jersey native had remarried, but the reconciliation didn’t last long. The Superhero Movie star filed for divorce in February 2015, finalizing the proceedings two months later. Anderson’s love life continued to make headlines in January 2020 when she held a wedding ceremony with Jon Peters, only to call it quits less than two weeks later. At the time, Us confirmed that the nuptials were not legally binding since the duo never obtained a marriage license. “There was no anything,” Anderson later confirmed to The New York Times in May 2020. “It’s like it never even happened.” |
Sia Says She Was Suicidal Amid Backlash to 'Music' Film Posted: 20 Jan 2022 10:58 AM PST ![]() A difficult time. Sia opened up about the toll the public backlash to her film, Music, took on her in a new interview. “I was suicidal and relapsed and went to rehab,” the musician, 46, recalled to The New York Times on Wednesday, January 19. Sia explained to the outlet that it was her friend Kathy Griffin who helped her recover. The comedian, 61, arranged a “dinner date” with Sia at a popular Los Angeles restaurant so that the pair could generate some more positive headlines. “She saved my life,” the singer added. ![]() The film, which was Sia’s directorial debut, sparked a great deal of criticism thanks to the casting of frequent collaborator Maddie Ziegler as a nonverbal autistic teenage girl. Several actors with autism spoke out against the film, condemning Sia’s decision to cast a neurotypical actress in the lead role as well as the way Music depicted autism. Following the initial release of Music‘s trailer in November 2019, the “Chandelier” singer defended her film and the choice to give Ziegler, 19, the lead role. “I actually tried working with a beautiful young girl non verbal on the spectrum and she found it unpleasant and stressful," Sia wrote on Twitter at the time. “So that's why I cast Maddie.” In a series of tweets responding to social media critics, the Grammy nominee added that she “spent three f—king years researching” the project. “I cast thirteen neuroatypical people, three trans folk, and not as f—king prostitutes or drug addicts but as doctors, nurses and singers," she wrote. “F—king sad nobody's even seen the dang movie. My heart has always been in the right place.” Several members of the autistic community also called out Music for including a scene in which the titular character is restrained while having a meltdown. Sia apologized and promised to remove the controversial scene from all “future printings” of the movie. “I promise, have been listening. The motion picture Music will, moving forward, have [a] warning at the head of the movie,” she wrote on Twitter. “Music in no way condones or recommends the use of restraint on autistic people. There are autistic occupational therapists that specialize in sensory processing who can be consulted to explain safe ways to provide proprioceptive, deep-pressure feedback to help w meltdown safety.” Kate Hudson, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in Music, also defended the film in February 2021 during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “I think when people see the film, that they will see the amount of love and sensitivity that was put into it,” the actress, 42, explained. “It's an ongoing and important dialogue to be had, about neurotypical actors portraying neurodivergent characters. It is an important one to have with people who are experts and really know how to engage in the conversation.” She added that everyone involved in making Music only had good intentions. “When there are people who feel upset about anything, it's our job to listen and encourage more conversation with other people who want to tell these stories. Because they're important stories to be told and we don't want to stop telling them,” Hudson said. If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or considering suicide, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). |

Celebs Whose Dogs Were Featured in Their Weddings Posted: 20 Jan 2022 10:35 AM PST It's hard not to say "I do" to these adorable pooches! Some famous dog owners have taken the old phrase, "man's best friend," quite seriously and featured their beloved pets in the biggest day of their lives: their weddings. Stars like Carrie Underwood, Julianne Hough and Ellen DeGeneres all made sure their furry friends felt like they were part of the family as they got ready to exchange their vows. When the daytime talk show host, 61, married actress Portia de Rossi in a backyard ceremony in 2008, the women had their two rescues, Mabel and Wolf, as guests of honor. Since the wedding, DeGeneres and the Arrested Development alum, 46, adopted one more dog, Augie, and three cats: Charlie, George, and Chairman. Months before her July 2010 nuptials with hockey star Mike Fisher, the "Something in the Water" vocalist, 36, revealed in an interview that her dog, Ace, would play a big role. "He'll be one of the ring bearers," Underwood said at the time. "He's like my kid." Hough, 31, married her own hockey player, Brooks Laich, in 2017 with both of their adopted Cavalier King Charles Spaniels by their sides. Two years later, the couple mourned the loss of their "babies," Lexi and Harley, who mysteriously passed away on the same day. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas continued the trend in July 2019. The Game of Thrones alum, 23, and the "Sucker" singer, 30, had a secret wedding ceremony in Las Vegas after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, but tied the knot once more in France a few months later. Jonas' wedding party included his brothers and bandmates, and his little pup Porky Basquiat, who rounded out the lengthy line of groomsmen. Even before Seth Meyers' wedding, the late night host's greyhound played an important role in his proposal to human rights lawyer Alexi Ashe. Frisbee, the pair's lovable pooch, helped the Saturday Night Live alum, 45, propose. "I tied [the ring] in a bow around our dog's collar," Meyers revealed to Jimmy Fallon during a 2013 interview. 'The World Is Ours'! Britney Spears' Fiance Shows Support Amid Family Drama Posted: 20 Jan 2022 10:34 AM PST Stronger together! It was love at first sight when Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met in October 2016 on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video. "I was excited that I [would] get to meet one of the biggest artists of all time," the personal trainer recalled to Men's Health in July 2018. "I had butterflies." But when Asghari tried to break the ice, he almost ruined his chances with the Grammy winner. "She said, 'Hi, I'm Britney,' and I said, 'I'm sorry, what's your name again?'" he told the magazine. "I tried to be funny. I don't think anybody got it." Fortunately, Spears was charmed by the fitness model and they started chatting about one of their favorite foods, sushi. They continued to talk throughout the shoot and exchanged phone numbers by the end so that they could set up a proper first date. And the rest, as they say, was history. "I found his number in my bag. I was like, 'He is really cute. This guy is really cute,'" the Princess of Pop recounted during a January 2017 radio interview. "So then I called him, and ever since then, he is just a really fun, funny person." Since then, Asghari has been a huge support system for Spears in her personal and professional lives. He was a fixture in the audience during her Piece of Me residency in Las Vegas and helped her come out stronger than yesterday (pun intended) after she spent 30 days in a mental health facility in spring 2019. "Sam has been an absolute dream come true for Britney," a source told Us Weekly exclusively in May 2019. "He is such a positive light in her life." The "Toxic" singer was previously married to her childhood pal Jason Alexander for 55 hours in 2004, and backup dancer Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. She coparents sons Preston and Jayden with K-Fed. How Jensen Ackles Won Over Michelle Williams on 'Dawson's Creek' Posted: 20 Jan 2022 10:10 AM PST ![]() A trip down memory lane. Jensen Ackles shared memories of his time on the set of Dawson’s Creek, and he had only good things to say about his journey to Capeside. The Supernatural alum, 43, joined the beloved teen drama in the show’s sixth and final season, which aired from 2002 to 2003. “By the time I got there in season 6, everybody had kind of found their foothold,” the Texas native recalled during the Tuesday, January 18, episode of the “Inside of You With Michael Rosenbaum” podcast. “The rocky aspects of on-set dating had kind of settled. Everybody knew their place, and so it was a little more settled.” When host Michael Rosenbaum asked Ackles which members of the cast he was closest to, the Boys actor had only praise for his former costars. “Josh [Jackson] and I hung out quite a bit,” he recalled. “Kerr Smith was great.” Ackles noted that he didn’t work much with James Van Der Beek, but said he was “very nice,” and “Katie [Holmes] was very sweet.” There was one cast member, however, who was a bit harder to win over. ![]() “[Michelle Williams] wasn’t overly welcoming,” the Days of Our Lives star explained. “She was more of an introvert. You had to earn her respect a little bit.” Ackles had most of his scenes with the Oscar nominee, 41, but at first, she wasn’t that interested in making conversation. “We’d go back to the cast chairs, and she’d just bury herself in a book,” he told Rosenbaum, 49. “She never got mixed up in the drama that was on that set.” Though the duo didn’t become friends right away, things got easier after the Blue Valentine actress invited Ackles to meet her at a record store on one of their days off. Once they arrived, the Emmy winner took charge, tossing CDs by bands including the Shins and Spoon into his basket. “She was like, ‘OK there you go. That’s me,'” Ackles recalled. “It was her olive branch. ‘If you wanted to get to know me, this is what I do. This is the avenue to know me.'” The Rust star completed his audio homework that night, and when he returned to set the next day, he and Williams had “wonderful conversations.” Ackles, who starred with Rosenbaum on Smallville, also discussed his time on the short-lived series Dark Angel, which featured Jessica Alba. Though he and the Sin City actress, 40, are friendly now, he claimed that she “didn’t make it easy” for him when they worked together. "I was the new kid on the block, and I was picked on by the lead," he said, describing their issues as "the worst kind of bickering a brother and sister could do." Eventually, he noted, they developed a “mutual respect” for each other. “I love Jess, which I know kind of contradicts what I just said," Ackles said. “If she walked in, we'd be all hugs.” |
1 Year Later! Matt James, Rachael Kirkconnell Return to Nemacolin Posted: 20 Jan 2022 09:59 AM PST Where it all began! Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell returned to the place where they fell in love one year after their journey was captured on season 25 of The Bachelor. “Back at it and going somewhere super special this week,” Kirkconnell, 25, captioned a sweet Instagram photo of the pair on Wednesday, January 19, during a couple’s getaway to Pennsylvania. That same day, James, 30, confirmed that they had arrived at Nemacolin, where their reality TV romance was filmed. The couple, who were joined by James’ mother on the road trip, showed their social media followers around the hotel while reminiscing about their time on the ABC series. James and Kirkconnell’s love story played out on the 2021 season of the reality show, but as the episodes were airing, the graphic designer made headlines when photos resurfaced of her attending an "Old South"-themed frat party in 2018. “While there have been rumors circulating, there have also been truths that have come to light that I need to address. I hear you, and I’m here to say I was wrong,” she wrote via Instagram in February 2021. “At one point, I didn’t recognize how offensive and racist my actions were, but that doesn’t excuse them. My age or when it happened does not excuse anything. They are not acceptable or OK in any sense. I was ignorant, but my ignorance was racist.” While the Georgia native apologized amid widespread backlash, news broke that she and James had called it quits. During the After the Final Rose special, the former football player explained that he broke up with Kirkconnell to give her the space to focus on educating herself. "If you don't understand why something like that is problematic in 2018, there's a lot of me that you won't understand," he explained in March 2021. "It's as simple as that." In the aftermath of the scandal, the duo sparked reconciliation rumors when they were spotted spending time together. James eventually confirmed that the twosome were giving their relationship another try, and Kirkconnell later opened up about how their romance improved after their brief split. "We're in a great place," she exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2021. "We just needed to take that time away from everyone and really figure everything out, and I think that we were just so sick of the outside noise and we were like, 'You know what? We need to just put all of that aside and really focus on our relationship and how we feel about each other and nothing else.' It's been so incredible." "I ordered something from here EVERYDAY [sic] until we started filming. Usually the same thing," he captioned a video of his food from Rockwell's, an on-site restaurant. "After a couple days, I would just walk downstairs in my slippers and blanket, and everything would be ready before I got here. I'd eat family style with staff and the chefs." Puppy Pics! Duchess Kate and Prince William Meet Adorable Therapy Dog Posted: 20 Jan 2022 09:36 AM PST The cutest sight! During Prince William and Duchess Kate's royal engagement at a local British hospital, they couldn't resist cooing over a cockapoo therapy dog. "Who do you think Alfie, the therapy dog preferred?" their official Kensington Palace Twitter account wrote on Thursday, January 20, alongside snaps of the Duke of Cambridge, 39, and the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, taking turns holding the pooch. ![]() In the snaps, Kate — who recently celebrated her milestone 40th birthday with a trio of stunning new portraits — wore a brown sweater dress and coordinating coat, which matched the sweet pup's fur color. William, for his part, sported a burgundy sweater and a navy jacket during the outing. The royal couple — who wed in April 2011 — made a surprise appearance at the Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire, England, to visit with medical professionals who tirelessly worked across the rural community in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. ![]() "Pressures across the local system have meant that teams here have felt the strain of the pandemic," a post read on the pair's official Instagram account on Thursday, alongside photos of the duo taking a tour of the facilities and meeting its nurses and doctors. During the tour, Will and Kate — who have been strong advocates about mental health awareness through the years — learned how the NHS Charities have "provided invaluable mental wellbeing support to staff" by creating a staff wellbeing room and welcomed two therapy dogs: Jasper and Alfie. The parents of three — they share Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3 — welcomed a new dog in their family last year. Us Weekly confirmed in January 2021 that Kate's brother, James Middleton, gave the royal family a puppy one year after their beloved pet Lupo had died. "Very sadly last weekend our dear dog, Lupo, passed away," William and Kate announced via Instagram in November 2020. "He has been at the heart of our family for the past nine years and we will miss him so much." The Ella & Co founder, 34, who gifted the late English Cocker Spaniel to his sister as a wedding present, also honored Lupo postmortem. "Nothing can ever prepare you for the loss of a dog," Middleton shared via Instagram at the time. "For those who have never had a dog, it might be hard to understand the loss. However for those who have loved a dog know the truth: a dog is not just a pet; it is a member of the family, a best friend, a loyal companion, a teacher and a therapist. … There isn't much of a rule book on how to grieve for a dog, but I've said a prayer, lit a candle and taken Ella (Mum) for a long walk to spend time remembering Lupo. Rest in peace Lupo. Tilly & Mini will be waiting for you. You will always be remembered and your legacy will live on forever. Good Boy."

Vanderpump Rules' Raquel Leviss: I Could 'Count On' James Kennedy Before Split Posted: 20 Jan 2022 09:26 AM PST ![]() Looking back. Vanderpump Rules star Raquel Leviss recalled being able to “count on” James Kennedy in an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday, January 19, weeks following their split. “If you really knew me, you would know that public speaking is my biggest fear,” Leviss, 27, wrote while sharing a photo from her July engagement party, which was filmed for the reality series. “You'll see me give a toast [on Season 9], which I was so terrified to do I had major writer's block the week leading up to the party. James helped me come up with something nice to say and we wrote it down on my phone.” Adding that she got flustered after realizing she “didn’t have an extra hand to read my notes,” Leviss said her then-fiance, 29, came to her rescue. “It might have seemed funny but James was there to support me and help me through my speech,” the former SURver wrote. “I'm tearing up writing this because although we are not together anymore, I really could count on him for moral support during challenging times like this one.” Leviss and Kennedy began dating in 2016 after meeting at a New Year’s Eve party, and the former pageant queen joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules shortly after. The couple announced their engagement in May 2021. “THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, said yes. “After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement,” Leviss wrote via Instagram in December 2021. "We love each other very much, but we aren't in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.” Earlier this month, the model revealed she wasn’t happy when Kennedy had a disagreement with her father over Thanksgiving in November 2021. “The future of Thanksgivings and Christmases and holidays was looking like it was going to be either James or my family,” Leviss told costar Sheana Shay on an episode of her “Scheananigans” podcast. “Especially like if we had a baby, James would make my parents out as like the not good grandparents and kind of put that in their heads. Foreseeing this future and what it was all coming down to [I realized] I don't want that.” Though Kennedy hasn’t publicly addressed the breakup, he did hint at life without Leviss in December 2021. “What a year it has been (to say the least),” he wrote via Instagram after filming wrapped on the Bravo series. "Today one chapter ends and a new chapter truly begins for me. Not sure what I'm going to do but I do know one thing, I will continue my journey without alcohol, I will find my true self and the music never dies.” The exes will also address their split during the two-part Season 9 reunion. The first installment will debut on Tuesday, January 25, at 9 p.m. ET and the second will air the following night, Wednesday, January 26, at 9 p.m. ET. |
Harry Thornton: MGK, Megan Fox Are ‘Copycats’ of My Dad Billy Bob, Angelina Posted: 20 Jan 2022 08:34 AM PST ![]() Imitation is the highest form of flattery? After Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox seemingly took inspiration from Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie’s romance, Harry Thornton is sounding off on the similar courtship. "Ah, they're copycats!" Harry, 27, jokingly told Page Six on Wednesday, January 19, about Kelly, 31, wearing a vial of blood that Fox, 35, gave him around his neck. The Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules star noted that he didn’t understand the context behind the vial when his father, 66, wore it during his romance with Jolie, 46. "I just thought it was a necklace. Now, I think it's gross to have someone's DNA wrapped around your neck all day. It's definitely interesting,” Harry shared about Billy’s choice of jewelry. “He's set trends. I think that's awesome. I can appreciate that." ![]() Billy and Jolie were previously married from May 2000 to May 2003. At the time, the duo made headlines when they revealed they wore vials of one another's blood. "The necklaces were a very simple thing," the Armageddon star, who shares Harry and William with ex-wife Pietra Dawn Cherniak, said on the "HFPA In Conversation" podcast in June 2018. "'Hey, let's poke our finger with a pin and smear a little on there, and when we're away from each other, we'll wear the necklace.' That was that easy, but by the time it came out in the press, it sounded like we were wearing a bucket of blood around our necks." Following their split, the Sling Blade actor married Connie Angland in 2014. Jolie, for her part, married Brad Pitt that same year after nearly 10 years of dating. The pair, who share Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13, called it quits in 2016. Meanwhile, Fox and Kelly raised eyebrows when the performer shared a photo of himself wearing a necklace that contained his girlfriend’s blood. The Bird Box actor later explained that the jewelry was a present from the Jennifer’s Body star. “Well, she was actually going out of town to film a movie. This was really new in our relationship,” the rapper said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May 2021. “I didn’t have a passport either. So, she was going out to Bulgaria so I was kind of freaking out, like, ‘You’re gonna leave and I can’t even come see you.’ Some people give, like, a handkerchief to their partner or whatever. She gave me her DNA.” The twosome, who sparked romance rumors after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020, recently confirmed that they were engaged — and blood was involved in the proposal too. “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic,” Fox, who is in the middle of a divorce from ex Brian Austin Green, captioned an Instagram video of the proposal on January 12. “We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.” She continued: “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes. …and then we drank each other's blood 1.11.22.” |
She Said Yes! Michelle Dockery Is Engaged to Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Brother Posted: 20 Jan 2022 08:33 AM PST ![]() An Abbey-worthy celebration! Michelle Dockery has announced her engagement to Jasper Waller-Bridge after a low-key romance. The Downton Abbey alum, 40, and her beau, 34, shared the news on Thursday, January 20, in the U.K.'s The Times, which read: “The engagement is announced between Jasper, son of Michael Waller-Bridge of King’s Lynn, Norfolk, and Teresa Waller-Bridge of Battersea, London, and Michelle Dockery, younger daughter of Michael and Lorraine Dockery of Gidea Park, Essex." Dockery and her partner — the brother of Fleabag alum Phoebe Waller-Bridge — have been dating since 2019, according to the British newspaper, and made their red carpet debut at the Rome Film Festival shortly after. The Defending Jacob alum, who is set to reprise her role as Lady Mary Crawley in this year's Downton Abbey: A New Era, was previously engaged to John Dineen before he died of cancer in 2015. He was 34. "I don't have the vocabulary to describe what it felt like," the Godless star told The Guardian in November 2017 two years after the PR executive's death. "I've never been more committed to anything in my life than to him. So at the time everything just shut down. Work, everything. Work didn't matter. You suddenly become an [oncological] expert. This stuff becomes your world, and that of course was my priority." Dockery continued at the time: "I never lost hope. No. I'm not exaggerating when I say that John did not complain once, never, not once, and that gave us strength. It's what keeps you going, that positivity – to never lose that hope for a miracle. I couldn't have done it any other way. … John was a very private person, and the hardest thing was keeping it out of the press when he was sick. It took a lot." The England native told the British outlet that she had "spent more time in hospitals that year than some people do in a lifetime" and had learned to "see things different" after her loss. "I wouldn't wish it on anyone or expect them to know," Dockery noted. "Oh, I refer to myself as a widow, yes. We were engaged and married at heart, and so I do consider myself a widow.” After moving on with the TV producer, the pair kept their budding romance relatively quiet. "This is something that's personal," the Anna Karenina actress said, playing coy during a Tatler interview in February 2020 when asked about her beau and his famous sister, 36. "I guess what I've learnt is to keep talking about the work. There are a lot of other things that come along with success and that would be my advice for anyone: keep your head down, make it about the job.' I feel grateful. I'd achieved a lot by the time I was 30. … But it's put me in a position now where I can slow down. This business, it never really stops. You do something, you promote it, you're on to the next job. I'm learning I need to find ways to switch off. Unwind." |

Several celebrity couples took their love to the next level in 2022 by getting engaged. Josh Duhamel popped the question to Audra Mari in January after two years of dating. The actor was previously married to Fergie from 2009 to 2019, and the exes share son Axl, whom they welcomed in August 2013. "They are both really good people and committed to their son, but they are too different to make it work," a source told Us Weekly in September 2017 shortly after the duo confirmed their split. Fergie opened up in October 2017 about calling it quits with Duhamel. "It wasn't my plan," she said on The Wendy Williams Show at the time. "I wanted to stay married forever." A year later, the Las Vegas alum hinted at his desire to remarry. "I want to have more kids in the next few years. So it's more about finding someone young enough to have kids," he explained on the "Armchair Expert" podcast in December 2018. "It's not as if I'm out there just trying to f–k anything. That's really not who I am. I'm trying to find a girl that I can be with and have a family with, you know?" Duhamel also reflected on his failed romance with Fergie at the time. "Ferg and I had a great relationship. I love that girl and I always will. Unfortunately, we didn't work, but I will always have her back and she is the mother of my baby," he shared. "She's awesome. So I'm just trying to find somebody. That's kind of what I'm looking for." After the Transformers star posted on social media about his betrothal to Mari, the former Black Eyed Peas member wished her ex-husband well. Todd Chrisley Wishes Daughter Lindsie ‘Nothing But the Best’ Amid ‘Uneasiness’ Posted: 20 Jan 2022 08:03 AM PST Focusing on the positive. Amid his tumultuous relationship with daughter Lindsie Chrisley, Todd Chrisley opened up about where they stand now. “Lindsay is our daughter and we love her, and we wish her nothing but the best,” Todd, 52, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, January 18, while promoting his partnership with Nutrisystem. “It’s no secret that there has been a lot of uneasiness that has gone on and transpired — but we choose to keep that private.” Viewers were originally introduced to Todd’s family when Chrisley Knows Best premiered in 2014. Although the patriarch wasn’t thrilled when his eldest daughter, 32, eloped with Will Campbell, the twosome were able to mend their relationship on USA Network’s hit series. In 2019, however, Todd and Lindsie made headlines when the businessman accused his daughter of having extramarital affairs with Bachelorette's Robby Hayes and Josh Murray. He also claimed that Lindsie leaked information about his finances to an investigator. In response, Lindsie stated in a police report that Todd and her stepbrother Chase Chrisley tried to blackmail her with an alleged sex tape with Hayes, 33, "to lie about an incident." The Bachelor in Paradise alum later clarified that he “did not make a sex tape” with Lindsie. Todd made a public attempt to reconcile with his daughter after Lindsie announced her split from Campbell, 31, early last year. “While one door closes, another opens," the former reality star wrote via Instagram in July 2021. “It’s with the deepest sadness that, after nine years of marriage, Will and I have mutually decided to end our marriage. We maintain the greatest respect and love for one another, and we’re so grateful for our time together. We will continue to remain friends and be devoted parents to our son whom we both love very much." At the time, the entrepreneur took to social media to offer support to his daughter, writing, “I'm here. I love you. Whatever is going on in your life right now, I see it, and I'm working all things out for good, for you, my child. There is nothing you can do or have done that will make me ever love you less. I will protect you from anything, and anyone who tries's [SIC] to harm you or your reputation.” Lindsie, who shares son Jackson, 8, with her estranged husband, revealed that she was shocked to hear about her dad’s message since she is blocked from seeing it herself. “As you all know, I shared that I was going through a divorce and this has been something that has weighed heavily on me and my emotional state for some time now and it has been very, very freeing to be able to share that,” she stated on her podcast, “Coffee Convos,” in August 2021. “We all know that social media is so scary and it can make hard situations in life so much harder.” The podcast host noted that she was “not in contact” with her father but had made attempts to reach out “privately” after seeing his post. In the meantime, Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, have shifted their focus on creating a wellness plan in their home by partnering with Nutrisystem. By joining as ambassadors, the duo have encouraged others to lose weight together during the company’s “Better Together Week” from January 17 to January 24. While opening up about Nutrisystem’s “$100,000 Better Together Partner Plan Giveaway“, Todd reflected on the motivation that he got from seeing himself reach his goal. “I think that for me, it’s always been about a number. I am driven by numbers and results so I would literally take a picture of my number on the scale so I could send it to [Julie] because she wouldn’t let me watch her weigh [herself]” Todd told Us about joining the Nutrisystem Partner Plan with his wife, 49. “But with that being said, I’m not about dieting because I don’t wanna restrict myself. But with the Nutrisystem plan, I found that I didn’t have to.” He added: “At the end of the day, the only downside to Nutrisystem is that I actually know how to fix it myself, which is something I’ve never had to do. And now Julie knows that I know how to do it myself and she’s decided that I need that kind of independence.” With reporting by Christina Garibaldi |
Jamie Lynn Spears' Lawyer Hits Back at Britney's Cease and Desist Posted: 20 Jan 2022 07:48 AM PST Lawyers for Britney and Jamie Lynn have taken over the back-and-forth between the Spears sisters. Jamie Lynn Spears' attorney hit back at a cease and desist from Britney Spears' team. TMZ and Page Six have obtained a letter from Bryan Freedman sent to Mathew Rosengart on Wednesday, January 19. "As you know from previous social media posts, Jamie Lynn has had her children violently threatened, and we have no doubt that these new intimidating and threatening social media posts will lead to similar threats of violence," Freedman wrote. "To be clear, social media posts that include cyberbullying which cause death threats to Jamie Lynn and her family, is neither the 'high road,' nor anything that will be tolerated." Freedman appears to reference Britney's Tuesday, January 18, Instagram post in which she wrote she should've "slapped" her sister and their mother, Lynne Spears, in the past. The note added that the Nickelodeon alum is a "member of the Spears family" who has "suffered through her own experiences and her own trauma," claiming that Britney failed "to specify any legal wrongdoing whatsoever" when it comes to Jamie Lynn's book, Things I Should've Said. The siblings' feud has been making headlines since Britney's June 2021 deposition, during which the Grammy winner revealed she wanted to sue her family for the alleged abuse and mistreatment she endured amid her 13-year conservatorship. Things have escalated as Jamie Lynn promotes her memoir, with Britney denying claims in the book that she once locked her younger sister in a room with a knife. "Jamie Lynn … congrats babe! You've stooped to a whole new level of LOW," Britney tweeted on Saturday, January 15. "So please please stop with these crazy lies for the Hollywood books!!! NOW and only NOW do I know only a scum person would make up such things about someone." After the Zoey 101 alum episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast dropped on Tuesday, Britney's team sent the cease and desist. "Although Britney has not read and does not intend to read your book, she and millions of her fans were shocked to see how you have exploited her for monetary gain. She will not tolerate it, nor should she," the legal letter read. "You of all people know the abuse and wrongdoing Britney had to endure during the conservatorship, after initially growing up with a 'ruinous,' alcoholic father. In fact, your own book reportedly states that your father 'spent most of my life in that cycle of ruinous behavior. His bouts of drinking caused me periods of torment and sorrow.' As I have previously stated, having endured a 13-year conservatorship that stripped her of civil rights and fundamental liberties, Britney will no longer be bullied by her father or anyone else." Britney's team has yet to publicly react to Jamie Lynn's lawyer's response. |

"As Hannah got older, she struggled to find her footing and began using drugs and often found herself abusive relationships," the statement continued. "Months after losing her biological father to suicide, Hannah was the victim of a crime and was shot in the face. We did everything we could to support her and get her the help she needed to recover from these tragedies and get her life back on track. We had just recently made plans with Hannah for her to seek further treatment and move closer to the family." The North Carolina native noted that on November 12, 2021, Hannah had contacted her parents, claiming she feared for her life. She told them she needed help after her boyfriend allegedly physically abused her and then stole her car. After the concerning call, Chris and Deanna requested the local police department to perform a wellness check. ![]() "The officers spoke to Hannah and determined she was OK around 12:45 p.m.. They left without incident," their statement read. "Later that afternoon, Hannah was found hanging by her boyfriend and he called 911. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel." After an investigation, Hannah's official cause of death was confirmed as suicide by hanging under the influence of narcotics. There was no evidence of foul play. "Hannah was a generous and loving person who wanted more for herself and others. She will forever be in the hearts and minds of those of us who love her," the couple added at the time. Prince William Was ‘Involved’ in Queen’s Decision to Strip Andrew’s Titles Posted: 20 Jan 2022 06:00 AM PST Her support system. Queen Elizabeth II turned to her heir Prince William amid Prince Andrew's legal battle, which led her to strip her son of his titles and royal duties. "William, in fact, was very involved in this decision, and it’s been said that he met with the queen in person ahead of their announcement that came out last week," royal expert Kristin Contino exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, January 18. "I think that really shows — and I think that’s interesting — his growing influence and how she trusts his judgment and is looking for his advice. And I think that’s a great sign of things to come for William and how much she is relying on talking to him and his counsel." William, 39, is second in line to the British throne behind his father, Prince Charles, who was also integral in the move. "Charles, of course, was involved in that decision too," the A House Full of Windsor author added. "But I think [what] a lot of people thought was interesting is William’s heavy involvement in that. So I think she really is leaning on her two heirs at this time [to] help make those sort of big family decisions." Buckingham Palace announced on January 13 that Andrew, 61, had been stripped of his titles after news broke that he could face trial in a sexual assault lawsuit. "With The Queen's approval and agreement, The Duke of York's military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to The Queen," the palace said in a statement at the time. "The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen." One day earlier, the Associated Press reported that a judge dismissed Andrew's request to throw out a lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed that the late Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell forced her to have sex with the royal when she was 17. (Andrew denied the allegations in a November 2019 interview, telling the BBC that he had "no recollection of ever meeting this lady.") The prince's legal team alleged that the suit should be dismissed because of a settlement Giuffre, now 38, reached with Epstein in 2009. However, a judge ruled that the case will move forward. Andrew previously announced in November 2019 that he would step back from his royal duties "for the foreseeable future" after his past with Epstein came to light. "I continue to unequivocally regret my ill-judged association with Jeffrey Epstein," the Duke of York said in a statement at the time. "His suicide has left many unanswered questions, particularly for his victims, and I deeply sympathize with everyone who has been affected and wants some form of closure. I can only hope that, in time, they will be able to rebuild their lives. Of course, I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required." If you or anyone you know has been sexually abused, call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673). A trained staff member will provide confidential, judgment-free support as well as local resources to assist in healing, recovering and more. With reporting by Christina Garibaldi |
Kelly Rizzo Fights Back Tears, Reveals Final Conversation With Bob Saget Posted: 20 Jan 2022 05:57 AM PST During her first interview since the death of her husband, Bob Saget, Kelly Rizzo got visibly emotional as she remembered the late comedian and their final moments together. "He put it all out there. He told everyone that he loved, and I mean, quite frankly anyone he met — even spend any time with at all — he told them he loved them endlessly, and tirelessly, and that was his entire message," the 42-year-old food blogger began on the Today show on Thursday, January 20. "If you knew Bob, and he loved you, you knew it. There was never ever a doubt in your mind. I mean, even at his memorial, there were a lot of people there and every single person was pretty much like, 'Oh, I talked to Bob last week.' I’m like, 'How did he have the time to talk to everybody and tell everybody that he loved them? All the time.' It was just amazing." ![]() Saget was found dead in his Orlando, Florida, hotel room on January 9. The 65-year-old stand-up performed a show hours before he passed. On Thursday, Rizzo began to cry when Hoda Kotb informed her that Saget's friend Mike Young told the host that the Full House alum always "wanted to catch the first flight" home after shows to be with his family. "What was always so special is every time he would be out of town, he would always try to," she said. "He loved to sleep in, but when he was away. … He would go to bed at 2 a.m. and then wake up at 4 a.m., so he could be on the 6 a.m. flight so he could come home and just so we could spend time together. We valued every single second that we had together. That’s why, you know, this is so heartbreaking." Rizzo continued: "But at the same time, I know that every second that we had together was just maximized to the fullest and we absolutely — there was nothing left unsaid, and nothing left on the table. So those are things that I’m just trying to hold onto." ![]() According to Rizzo, Saget was "very happy" and "thrilled" to be performing again before his untimely death. "He was also very sensitive and just all the weight of everything going on in the world right now, [it] was just weighing very heavily on him," she explained. "That’s why he felt more compelled than ever to make people laugh and bring people together and he did it up until the very last moment." When asked about their final conversation, Rizzo told Kotb that she's "very grateful" it was full of love, as usual. "I think I said, 'I love you dearly.' And he said, 'I love you endlessly,'" she recalled. "And then I said, 'I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.' … It was just all love." ![]() Saget is also survived by his three daughters whom he shared with his ex-wife, Sherri Kramer. His funeral, which included his Full House costars, took place on January 14. "He had three life’s works. One was his children. Next was comedy and then the SRF," Rizzo concluded, referring to Scleroderma Research Foundation. (According to the Today show, Saget raised over $26 million for the cause that took his sister Gay's life.) "He spent over 30 years tirelessly working so hard to try to find a cure for Scleroderma. So that’s why anything that I can do to help keep that legacy going and just help with the SRF because it meant so much to him." |

While Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly were eager to take the next step in their romance amid the rapper's romantic proposal earlier this month, she was "very surprised" by the timing, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. "She had no idea it was coming," the insider tells Us of the Tennessee native, 35, and the Dirt star, 31. "The two performed a ritual involving their blood to symbolize the two of them becoming one." The pair confirmed their engagement news on January 12, less than two years after they started dating. "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic," the Jennifer's Body actress captioned an Instagram post at the time. "We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma." Fox continued in her post: "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes. …and then we drank each other's blood 1.11.22." The "Bloody Valentine" crooner (real name Colson Baker) designed a custom bauble for his fiancée with two stones, to denote both of their birthstones, on two magnetic bands of thorns that "draw together as two halves of the same soul," he explained via Instagram. ![]() The duo were first linked in May 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. At the time, Fox had yet to announce her split from Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares sons Noah, 9, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 5. RHOSLC’s Jennie: I'm 'Sorry' for Causing 'Pain' With 'Hurtful' Past Posts Posted: 19 Jan 2022 04:58 PM PST ![]() Making amends. Jennie Nguyen broke her silence amid backlash over her past Facebook posts, in which she allegedly made racist comments amid the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests. "I want to acknowledge and apologize for my deleted Facebook posts from 2020 that resurfaced today," the 44-year-old Bravo personality wrote via an Instagram statement on Wednesday, January 19. "At the time, I thought I was speaking out against violence, but I have since learned how offensive and hurtful my words were." ![]() The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star claimed she "deactivated" that account "more than a year ago" after realizing that she was doing more harm than good. "[It's] why I continue to try and learn about perspectives different from my own," she continued. "I regret those posts and am sincerely sorry for the pain they caused." The Vietnam native, who joined season 2 of RHOSLC in 2021, came under fire on Wednesday when posts from two years prior reappeared online. Many of the resurfaced messages allegedly from Nguyen's account appeared to be promoting anti-Black Lives Matter posts amid the riots and protests during 2020. During a six-month span, the mother of three allegedly shared and reposted memes and photos that seemed racist in nature. Some had phrases like "BLM Thugs" and "Violent Gangs." In September 2020, she reportedly posted a meme of an old lady with what appeared to be stickers of her family members or kids on the back windshield of her van. The caption read, "No, that's not my family, that's how many rioters I've hit!" Another message allegedly posted by Nguyen that same month read, "I'm sick of people saying cops need more training. You had 18 years to teach your kids it's wrong to loot, steal, set buildings a blaze, block traffic, laser people's eyes, overturn cars, destroy buildings and attack citizens. Who failed who?" Fans were outraged after seeing the resurfaced messages, with many calling for Bravo to fire her from the series. After issuing her apology on Wednesday, many of Nguyen's followers were still upset, with one commenting, "An apology should be as loud as the damage." Another fan replied, "One season wonder …. Girl bye Us Weekly has reached out to Bravo for comment. |
Dolly Parton and Husband Carl Dean's Relationship Timeline Posted: 19 Jan 2022 03:34 PM PST Her best-kept secret. Dolly Parton and her husband, Carl Dean, have been married for more than 50 years, but they’re rarely seen together — and that’s just the way they like it. The country icon first met her future spouse when she moved to Nashville in 1964 to start her music career. They tied the knot within two years of meeting each other, but as Parton’s star rose, Dean kept to himself. Eventually, fans started to wonder if the “Jolene” singer’s husband even existed. “He just don’t have any desire to be in show business,” the Tennessee native told Playboy in October 1978. “He don’t want to have his picture in the paper. He don’t want to go out to the supermarket and have people say, ‘That’s Dolly Parton’s husband.'” Though the Grammy winner — the fourth of 12 children — grew up in a huge family, she and Dean never had any kids of their own. Parton, however, is known for her Imagination Library charity, which has sent more than 100 million free books to young children since she founded it in 1995. “God has a plan for everything,” the 9 to 5 actress explained during an October 2017 interview with the Today show. “I think it probably was his plan for me not to have kids so everybody’s kids could be mine. And they are now.” To hear Parton tell it, she and Dean have still managed to have plenty of fun as a twosome over the years. “We take off in our camper or go to our lake house,” the music superstar wrote in her 1994 memoir, Dolly: My Life and Other Unfinished Business. “We might go on a picnic somewhere, and then decide to stay overnight. Then we’ll go to a ‘drive up to your room’ motel.” In May 2016, the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, and Dean released a rare statement about his famous wife. “My first thought was, ‘I’m gonna marry that girl,'” he recalled of his first encounter with Parton. “My second thought was, ‘Lord, she's good-lookin.’ And that was the day my life began. I wouldn’t trade the last 50 years for nothing on this earth.” The duo also commemorated the occasion by renewing their vows in a private ceremony in Nashville. “If I had it to do all over, I’d do it all over again, and we did,” Parton said at the time. “I’m dragging him kicking and screaming into the next 50 years. Wish us luck.” Keep scrolling for a look back at Parton and Dean’s romance: ![]() The day after graduating from high school, Parton moved to Nashville from her hometown of Sevierville to pursue her singing career. That same day, she met Dean outside the Wishy Washy Laundromat. "I guess kind of in the back of my mind I was maybe flirtin' a little," she recalled in a 1970 interview with The Tennesseean. "But mainly I was just bein' friendly because I'd always been the kind of person who would speak back and smile." Moviestore/Shutterstock ![]() The duo tied the knot in a ceremony attended only by Parton, her mother, Dean, the preacher and his wife. "I like the way he loves me," Parton told Playboy of her husband in 1978. "His understanding of me and the things I do. The way he lets me be free. And lets me be me." "Tall and good-looking, rather like a young Gregory Peck, he has a way of moving his angular body so that he seems to come toward you in sections," the article read. "He is a fan of television and nightclub comic Steve Martin." Anonymous/AP/Shutterstock ![]() The "Eagle When She Flies" songstress opened up about her relationship with Dean in a candid interview with Playgirl, saying that the pair "never" argue. Mediapunch/Shutterstock ![]() Parton explained that she keeps Dean out of the spotlight because he would "never get a minute’s peace" if he accompanied her in public. “He's right about that,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s just not who he is. He’s, like, a quiet, reserved person.” Courtesy of Dolly Parton/Instagram ![]() During an episode of the "Table Manners With Jessie Ware" podcast, Parton joked that she and her husband may finally have tired of one another after nearly 60 years together. “I’m sure he’s sick of me,” she quipped. “My husband and I have been together for 57 years, been married 54, and I’m sick of him.” Mark J Terrill/AP/Shutterstock ![]() After joking that she wanted to pose for Playboy again for her 75th birthday, Parton recreated her Playboy cover for Dean's birthday. “My husband always loved the original cover of Playboy, so I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy," she said in an Instagram video that showed her dressed in bunny ears and a bowtie. "He still thinks I’m a hot chick after 57 years — and I’m not going to try to talk him out of that." Courtesy of Dolly Parton/Twitter |
