| Queen Elizabeth's Lady-in-Waiting Diana, Lady Farnham Dies at 90 Posted: 02 Jan 2022 06:58 PM PST Another loss. Diana Maxwell, Lady Farnham, died on December 29 at age 90, ending her 34-year run as Queen Elizabeth II‘s lady-in-waiting. Farnham, born Diana Marion Gunnis and called Marion by her loved ones, started her role as lady of the bedchamber in 1987. In recognition of her service, the queen, now 95, appointed her Commander, Royal Victorian Order (CVO) after more than a decade working for the monarch in 1998. She was appointed Dame Commander, Royal Victorian Order in 2010. Her Majesty made the honor specifically for services to the royal family. The late friend of the queen accompanied the sovereign to many events, even stepping in to accompany her to the Diamond Jubilee in 2012 when Prince Philip was in the hospital for a bladder infection, per The Times. Farnham was predeceased by her husband, Barry Maxwell, who died in 2001. They are survived by daughters, Harriet, 57, and Sophia, 54, as well as four grandchildren: Araminta, 28, Henry, 26, Elsa, 15, and Celia, 13. The noblewoman is one of several ladies-in-waiting, all of whom are chosen by Queen Elizabeth herself. Unfortunately, she was the second of the group to die in December. Fortune FitzRoy, Duchess of Grafton, died on December 3 at age 101. The mistress of the robes, born Ann Fortune Smith, started serving Queen Elizabeth in 1953 as lady of the bedchamber before being promoted in 1967. She never gave any interviews, though royal experts believe she was one of the queen’s closest friends. The monarch visited her shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic forced England into lockdown and delivered a birthday card to Fortune for her 100th birthday in February 2020, London’s The Times reports. The December deaths added to an already depressing year for the queen. In April, her husband Prince Philip died at age 99. The two were married for 73 years. “Christmas was a bit of a struggle for the queen without Prince Philip by her side," a source exclusively told Us Weekly after the holiday. "And not being able to spend it with her whole family [didn't help]." Though COVID-19 prevented her from having her usual big celebration, the insider added, "She's not one to wallow in self-pity and kept her chin up.” Her Majesty relies on her ladies-in-waiting during difficult times. Though the queen sat alone at the April memorial service, Lady Susan Hussey, a senior lady-in-waiting, accompanied the monarch on the car ride from Windsor Castle to Philip’s funeral at St George’s Chapel. The 81-year-old noblewoman is fondly called the "No. 1 Head Girl” since she has been at Elizabeth’s side for more than 70 years. Elizabeth has several other ladies-in-waiting, including Susan Richenda Elton, Lady Elton, Virginia Ogilvy, Countess of Airlie, and the Honorable Mary Anne Morrison. |

Jamie Dornan played Christian Grey in all three Fifty Shades of Grey movies, and while many franchise stars worry about typecasting, the Ireland native said it wasn’t even a possibility for him. “At the time, I was asked if I was scared of being typecast – as what? As a BDSM-loving billionaire? I think that's a one-off,” the actor, 39, told The Telegraph in an interview published Saturday, January 1. “Nothing close to that has come my way again – I've barely worn a suit since.” Dornan started playing the dominating CEO in the 2015 movie, based on E.L. James‘ novel of the same name, opposite Dakota Johnson, who played Christian’s true love, Anastasia Steele. The duo returned for Fifty Shades Darker in 2017 and Fifty Shades Freed in 2018, earning more than $1 billion at the global box office, but not everyone is a fan. The sexy series is often the butt of many jokes, a problem he called out in the fall. "I take issue with the whole thing being just a bit of a joke," he told British GQ in October 2021. "Everyone involved worked as hard as they could on those films, including myself." In the middle of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ Sunday, January 2, game against the New York Jets, Antonio Brown pulled off his helmet and jersey as he ran off the field and into the locker room in the middle of the game. Amid the Florida team's offensive play, the wide receiver, 33, exited the stadium, crossing the field while his teammates were still playing at the other end of the field. In the clip, fellow Buccaneers athlete Mike Evans even attempted to stop the Miami native from taking off his uniform and throwing it into the crowd before Brown waved to fans and left — an exit that may have cost the athlete his job. "He is no longer a Buc," Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians told reporters via a Twitter clip following the game, in which the Florida-based team bested their northern adversaries 28-24. "That's the end of the story. Let's talk about the guys that were out there and won the game.” Before his mid-game exit, the former Pittsburgh Steelers athlete was reportedly benched, according to sideline reporter TJ Rives. In June 2021, the pop star spoke out in court for the first time since being put under a conservatorship in 2008. During the explosive hearing, she explained why she should be able to choose her own attorney, adding that she wanted to take legal action against her family. “I just want my life back. It's been 13 years, and it's enough. It's been a long time since I've owned my money,” the “Lucky” singer said at the time. “I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you. I also would like to be able to share my story with the world, and what they did to me, instead of it being a hush-hush secret to benefit all of them.” Following the case, the Sweet Magnolias star responded to fans via Instagram who claimed she wasn’t publicly supporting the #FreeBritney movement because she hadn’t posted on social media. "Maybe I didn't support her the way the public would like me to with a hashtag on a public platform, but I can assure you I've supported my sister long before there was a hashtag. And I'll support her long after. Note that,” the actress shared. “I'm so proud of her for using her voice. I'm so proud of her for requesting new counsel like I told her to do many years ago. I have been off my phone and social media for a couple months due to a tremendous personal loss. In October, my Dear Dad, made his transition to the other side," the Freedom Writers actress, 47, captioned a throwback Instagram selfie with her father on Saturday, January 1. "I had a rather unique relationship with him as I was his sole caretaker after a lung transplant seven years ago. I grew incredibly close to him during this time, deepening our relationship and savoring every moment we had together."  She continued in her post, "He will always remain one of my most favorite persons and not a day goes by that I don't miss him. But in this physical loss, as devastating as it is, I was awakened to the truest sense of living again. It helped me better understand the circle of life and where we come from and where we go back to, which has connected me back to my truest self. It helped me forgive, to move past the things that hold me back, in whatever form that takes each day. As well as being deeply connected to the Ultimate Source and therefore, my Dad, always." The Iron Jawed Angels star concluded her social media return by wishing her social media followers a happy New Year. | George Lopez Cuts His New Year’s Eve Comedy Show Short After Getting Sick Posted: 02 Jan 2022 07:53 AM PST  George Lopez canceled the remainder of his New Year's Eve comedy performance after apparently becoming ill. The comedian, 60, was performing a set on Friday, December 31, at Washington's Muckleshoot Casino Resort before noticing he was not feeling too well, according to eyewitness reports from TMZ. After performing his set for approximately 30 minutes, eyewitnesses noticed that Lopez started sweating and asking for water. “You could tell something was wrong, but it was not clear what was wrong," one attendee told the outlet, before noting that the "OMG Hi" podcast host apologized to the audience and walked off of the stage. TMZ also reported that an ambulance was seen outside the Auburn, Washington, venue, however, it is unclear if Lopez had utilized it. While Lopez has yet to publicly discuss his supposed illness, the casino tweeted that the remainder of the matinee show, and his evening performance, had been canceled. "It is with sincere apologies that we must announce the cancellation of tonight's 8 pm performance by George Lopez. Please contact your point-of-sale for refund information," their official Twitter page wrote on Friday. While Lopez has remained quiet about his supposed injuries and sickness, he previously shared a heartfelt tribute to Betty White, who died hours earlier on Friday. | Siesta Key’s Madisson Hausburg Mourns Stillborn Son on Due Date With Tattoo Posted: 01 Jan 2022 05:10 PM PST  A permanent tribute. Madisson Hausburg revealed her “first and only tattoo” honors Elliot, the son she delivered stillborn in December 2021. “Today is Elliot's due date,” the Siesta Key star, 27, shared via Instagram on Saturday, January 1, alongside a photo of her son’s name tattooed on her arm. “The day we were supposed to bring our baby home to snuggle and pass around the family. The day he would meet all his aunts and uncles and grandparents. The very first grandchild of my family. Instead, today marks 3 weeks since I gave birth to my sleeping little Angel. Three weeks since I last held him in my arms and kissed his perfect precious cheeks.” Hausburg and her husband, Ish Soto, announced the stillbirth on December 21. The Florida native revealed the memory box she left the hospital with on December 12, which revealed her son’s full name, Elliot Angel Soto.  In her New Year’s Day message, Hausburg detailed how she was struggling both mentally and physically after the loss of her baby. “I am stuck in this limbo of being a new mother and not being able to mother my son,” she explained. “My body still physically aches to feed my baby boy. My heart and mind still can't process that he's gone. Everything triggers me…finding his pajamas in the laundry or just walking through the grocery store as I did a hundred times when he was in my tummy. I feel so broken and lost without my son. They say ‘grief is just love with no place to go.’ I feel that so deeply right now.” The MTV reality star thanked both fans and friends for reaching out to console her and the producer as well as those who share their own stories of child loss. “You have no idea how much it means to us and helps us feel less alone,” she added. “I am learning more and more about stillbirth, miscarriage, and infant loss. It breaks my heart that so many people go through this nightmare and can relate to this pain. I sincerely hope everyone has a beautiful New Year and 2022 brings new joy and new hope. Please keep our little Elliot in your thoughts and prayers She also explained that she wasn’t planning to get more ink. The elegant cursive tattoo of Elliot’s name sits on her forearm and was done by tattoo artist Justin Villalobos, who is tagged in the photo. “My first and only tattoo, to forever carry you in my arms. I love you infinitely, baby E!” the newlywed wrote. Hausburg and Soto married in October, two months after they announced that they were expecting a child. "We are beyond excited to finally share the news of our baby,” the duo confirmed to Us Weekly in August. “We already love this little baby so much and can't wait to meet them.” Soto noted that going through the happiness of getting married and the tragic loss of his son made 2021 incredibly difficult. “2021…a year that brought me to my highest highs, marrying my best friend,” he shared on Friday, December 31, via Instagram. “It was also the year that delivered my lowest most painful low, the loss of my son Eli. | Luann de Lesseps’ Ex Tom Gets Engaged on Their Former Wedding Anniversary Posted: 01 Jan 2022 02:25 PM PST Ringing in the new year with a new rock. Tom D’Agostino and Danielle Rollins got engaged on Friday, December 31 — five years after he married Luann de Lesseps on New Year’s Eve. “Woke up like this,” Rollins wrote alongside a picture of her and 55-year-old D’Agostino’s hands. The interior designer was wearing a ring featuring a large sapphire surrounded by smaller diamonds on her left hand in the snap.  Designer Sarah Bray-West attended the party that Rollins hosted in honor of D’Agostino’s birthday, which falls on December 31. Bray-West shared a photo via her Instagram story of D’Agostino on one knee while proposing to his new love. “She said yes!!! Congrats @danielledrollins @tomdagostinojr,” the partygoer shared. The businessman married the Real Housewives of New York City star, now 56, on the same date in 2016. Us Weekly confirmed at the time that de Lesseps wed D'Agostino Jr. in a New Year’s Eve ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, the same city where D’Agostino proposed to Rollins. The 2016 ceremony included RHONY’s Dorinda Medley as a bridesmaid as well as Bravo alums Jill Zarin, Cynthia Bailey and Kelly Bensimon.  However, that wasn’t the beginning of the couple’s happily ever after. Seven months later, the pair announced their split. "It's with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce," the former countess wrote on Twitter in August 2017. "We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!" D’Agostino moved on with Rollins several years ago. In a post prior to their engagement, the bride-to-be revealed that this is their fourth New Year’s/birthday celebration together. De Lesseps, meanwhile, has dated trainer Garth Wakeford and retired athlete Radamez Rubio Gaytan in the years since their split. In May 2018, nearly a year after announcing their split, the Bravolebrity said she had no regrets about their marriage.

Emma Watson and Tom Felton are BFFs now, but back in their Harry Potter days, there seemed to have been potential for more. The Beauty and the Beast star admitted in 2011 that she carried a childhood torch for her costar when they filmed the early Potter films, the first of which, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, premiered in 2001. As all would-be Hogwarts students know, Watson played Hermione Granger, the smartest witch in her class and best friend to Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), while Felton played Draco Malfoy, Harry’s biggest non-Voldemort enemy. Add in the fact that Hermione and Draco were in rival houses Gryffindor and Slytherin, and you’ve got a classic forbidden love story. “For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush,” Watson told Seventeen. “He totally knows. We talked about it — we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.” That quote might have been the end of it if the pair hadn’t kept having mini Hogwarts reunions and saying such darn cute things about their friendship.
