After starring on seven seasons on The Real Housewives of Atlanta over the years, NeNe Leakes is reportedly suing the companies behind the show for a hostile and racist work environment.

Leakes, 54, filed a lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Bravo, production companies True Entertainment and Truly Original and executive producer Andy Cohen in Atlanta, Georgia, on Wednesday, April 20, according to multiple reports.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the legal documents state, “NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated – if not, encouraged.”

The New York native’s lawsuit reportedly accused former costar Kim Zolciak-Biermann of racist remarks that went unaddressed. After Leakes joined the hit Bravo series in 2008, Zolciak-Biermann, 43, allegedly made several comments that “perpetuated an offensive stereotype about African-Americans.”

The fashion designer also pointed out that her concerns were ignored by executives at the time. "From the day the series began filming, NeNe was the target of systemic racism from co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, which was tolerated by Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen and other executives," Leakes' lawyer David deRubertis said in a statement on Wednesday.

The television personality originally announced her departure from RHOA in season 7 before returning for season 10. In September 2020, Leakes revealed that she would be exiting again ahead of the show’s 13th season. "I have made the hard and very difficult decision to not be a part of Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13," she said on her YouTube channel at the time. "It wasn't an easy decision for me.”

At the time, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant noted that she experienced an “extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation” that resulted in her decision. “There has been a lot of emotion flying on both sides,” she added. “I'm just so happy that I can say that I was a part of a genre that opened doors for Black ensemble reality shows."

In a statement to Us Weekly, Bravo explained that they "wish NeNe all the best in her future endeavors and thank her for sharing her journey" with viewers. "She's been instrumental since the start and will truly be missed, and maybe one day she'll hold the peach again," the network stated.

That same month, Leakes claimed that Cohen, 53, “forced” her “out of the franchise.”

"Let me sit over here and heal in peace,” she said in another YouTube video. “If you don't have anything positive to say about me working for your network after 13 years? Stop bringing up my name on your show to help your ratings. Stop it. You didn't want me here. You've been forcing me out for the past four years."

She continued: “I am still very grateful for everything that's happened in my life over the 13 years, I don't regret anything, I have learned a lot of things, there are a lot of things I would probably do differently. But if I were you, you should stop doing that. It's not right. It is wrong."

Cohen, for his part, previously shut down claims that Leakes’ scenes were edited out of RHOA. Following her exit, the Missouri native reflected on their bond over the years.

"She is a gif and catchphrase machine. In 11 years of #WWHL, Nene has been our most frequent guest, and she is always A BLAST," the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host wrote via Instagram at the time. "Nene nicknamed me 'Buttercup' the first day we met, and still calls me that today. Through her whole run, she has always had a serious concern and drive to maintain the success and well-being of #RHOA."

Even though Leakes moved on from the Housewives franchise, she later opened up about “unfinished business” that might be addressed on RHOA. “Yeah, sure. I’ll return to the show,” she said during an appearance on The Real in November 2021. “I’m OK with returning to the show as long as we can work through a few things. I’d be happy to return to the show.”

Ahead of her lawsuit, Leakes pointed out that there was a chance she could mend her past issues with Cohen. “I think Andy and I were really close for a really, really long time and I love Benny Boo [Benjamin] and I helped pay for his baby shower and all those things,” the Cupcake Wars alum shared, referring to the host’s 3-year-old son. “I think that Andy and I need to have a sit-down and talk and we’re off to the races!”

Us Weekly has reached out to Bravo, Cohen and Zolciak-Biermann for comment about the lawsuit.

Next steps. ASAP Rocky was spotted leaving the Los Angeles Police Department after his arrest in connection with a shooting that happened last year.

The rapper, 33, was detained on Wednesday, April 20, after flying back to the U.S. after vacationing in Barbados with Rihanna. The “Goldie” artist and the Fenty Beauty mogul, 34, are currently expecting their first child.

In photos obtained by TMZ, Rocky was seen leaving the LAPD on Wednesday after posting $550,000 bail. The New York City native, wearing a blue surgical mask, was dressed casually in a black-and-white shirt and shorts set with matching sneakers.

The LAPD confirmed in a statement shared via Twitter that they arrested Rocky for assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a shooting that took place in November 2021. “The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Rakim Mayers, a Los Angeles resident, better known as music artist ASAP Rocky," the statement read. According to the police, the “Peso” musician allegedly got into an argument with an "acquaintance" in Hollywood last year. After things escalated, he reportedly fired a handgun at the victim, who "sustained a minor injury."

Neither the Grammy nominee nor Rihanna have publicly commented on the arrest. Rocky is due back in court on August 17.

The Dope actor was previously charged with attempted murder at age 16 when someone tried to intimidate him while he was a drug dealer in his hometown of NYC. He confessed to shooting the other man after he thought that the person was reaching for a gun of his own. He served some time in jail before the charges were reduced.

Rocky made headlines in July 2019 when he was arrested and detained in Stockholm, Sweden, after he and his entourage had an altercation with a man named Mustafa Jafari. A court found the Monster star guilty of assault, but he did not have to serve further jail time. He spent more than a month behind bars before he returned to the U.S. in August 2019.

The AWGE founder and the “Work” songstress confirmed their romance in May 2021 when Rocky called her “the love of my life” in an interview with GQ. "[It's] so much better when you got The One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones," he gushed at the time. "I think when you know, you know. She's The One."

Rihanna debuted her baby bump in January, showing off her bare belly during a stroll with her beau on the streets of New York City.

"ASAP is obsessed with Rihanna and feels he has never loved her more than when she's pregnant," a source told Us Weekly after the pair confirmed they are expecting. "They're both very excited to be parents."

The model, 33, alleged during her Wednesday, April 20, court testimony that while she pointed a gun at the Arthur George sock designer, 35, in December 2016, it was all a joke. Chyna, according to a TMZ report, told the jury that Rob locked himself in a room with her phone, making her increasingly agitated. As a result, she smashed a gingerbread house and damaged their television set. She allegedly told Rob: "Give me back my phone, give me back my property."

Rob previously filed court documents, alleging that Chyna — with whom he shares 5-year-old daughter Dream — intended to "inflict severe injury to me and I feared for my life." He also claimed that she attempted to choke him with an iPhone charging cord and pointed a loaded gun at his head.

The Kardashian family's attorney, Michael Rhodes, cross-examined Chyna on Wednesday about the incident. She noted that she held up the gun to Rob, denying that she put her finger on the trigger and claimed it was only in a joking manner. The "Cash Only" performer further asserted that she had attempted to get Rob’s attention while he was playing a video game by wrapping the cell phone cord around his neck in a playful way, claiming there was no struggle.

During her testimony, Chyna (real name Angela Renée White) also alleged that Rob kept the firearm on his bedroom dresser, noting it was not loaded when she picked it up, per Entertainment Tonight.

The Real Black Chyna alum filed her lawsuit against Rob's family in 2017 after their reality TV show, Rob & Chyna, was put on hold. The docuseries, which aired between September to December 2016, chronicled the former couple's relationship amid Chyna's pregnancy with Dream. In the court filing, the Washington, D.C. native alleged that Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner — who were all in court on Wednesday — interfered with the show's production after it was renewed for a second season.

"Blac Chyna will seek millions in compensatory and punitive damages from Kris, Kim, Khloé and Kylie for defamation, intentional interference with contract and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage," the rapper's lawyer, Lynne Ciani, told Us Weekly in a statement in October 2020. "Chyna is beyond thrilled that she will have her day in court."

While the Kardashian-Jenners initially filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, court proceedings began earlier this month.

"I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors — the lies that were told and the damage that was done," the Lashed Cosmetics founder tweeted at the time. "At the end of the trial, I'm going to be able to proudly tell King and Dream that I did everything I could to right the wrong that was done to me. And that, in life, it is my hope that they will be able to stand up for themselves when it matters too."

Following Blac Chyna‘s split from Rob Kardashian, the model experienced major ups and downs with her ex and his famous family — including a legal battle that’s been ongoing for years.

Chyna and Kardashian originally confirmed their relationship in January 2016. The pair got engaged after three months of dating and announced that they were expecting their first child together. Their relationship was documented for their E! reality series, Rob & Chyna, from September to December 2016.

After the show was renewed for a second season, the sock designer took to social media to announce the couple’s split. Amid the on and off relationship, E! told Variety that production on Rob & Chyna would be put “on hold” in July 2017. The network noted that the spinoff had "not been in production for several months” as they plan to "follow the [Kardashian] family's lead" on what to do next.

Later that year, Chyna sued the Kardashians for allegedly interfering with her reality show’s future. The rapper’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, later offered an update on Chyna’s plans to go forward with the legal battle.

"Blac Chyna will seek millions in compensatory and punitive damages from Kris [Jenner], Kim [Kardashian], Khloé [Kardashian], and Kylie [Jenner] for defamation, intentional interference with contract, and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage," Ciani said in a statement to Us Weekly in October 2020. At the time, the lawyer claimed that Chyna's career in reality TV was "permanently damaged" as a result of the Kardashian family.

Two months later, a judge ordered the production company behind Rob & Chyna, Bunim/Murray Production, to turn over any unaired footage that was shot for season 2.

Chyna and Rob’s relationship made headlines again in March 2022 when the singer claimed that she didn’t receive any child support. "Yesterday I had to give up 3 of my cars … my reasons … morals, beliefs, being a single mother, no support I'm a MAMA," Chyna, who shares daughter Dream with Rob and son King with ex Tyga, tweeted at the time.

Rob, for his past, pointed out that he has his daughter from Tuesdays through Saturdays while questioning his ex-fiancée’s allegations. "[I] pay 37k a year for my daughter's school," the California native wrote in an Instagram comment via the Shade Room. "I handle every single medical expense. I pay for all her extracurricular activities. Why would I pay child support? Lol."

Less than a week later, Chyna offered an update on her plans to sue the Kardashian family.

"I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors — the lies that were told and the damage that was done," she tweeted in April 2022. "At the end of the trial, I'm going to be able to proudly tell King and Dream that I did everything I could to right the wrong that was done to me. And that, in life, it is my hope that they will be able to stand up for themselves when it matters too."

Kim, Khloé, Kris and Kendall were all in attendance for jury selection in April 2022, as was Chyna. Rob was not at the Los Angeles courthouse for the first day of proceedings on April 18. Maurissa Gunn Says Riley Christian Is Not the Person She Met on 'BiP'

Didn't trust her gut? Maurissa Gunn is slowly starting to open up about her broken engagement to Riley Christian, revealing things were over long before Bachelor in Paradise fans found out about their breakup.

"You guys saw me on the beach all the time, like, breaking down, thinking he was not as into me as I was him," Gunn, 25, recently said on the "Almost Famous" podcast. "I was all in, so in love from day one. And that’s kind of where it started — like that feeling that I had there in Paradise was kind of the feeling that just continued to go on."

The Bachelor season 24 alum got engaged to Christian, 32, on the season 7 finale of BiP, which aired in October 2021.

"I get upset with myself," Gunn continued to Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins. "[I think to myself], you knew it right then and there, but you were just trying to like work through the circumstances and thinking like, 'Oh, you’re being a little nuts, like, he’s so into you,' especially when you see it on TV. Like he’s not into anyone else doing anything, you know? And for me, the feelings still carried over throughout our whole relationship."

They announced their split in January via a joint statement that read: "We have decided to go our separate ways. Never did we imagine this, but we've come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves. We've appreciated everyone's love and support so far throughout our journey and we just ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this."

Weeks later, Christian spoke out for the first time in a lengthy Instagram message.

"It takes a while for me to heal, but I thank you all for your patience. This has not at all been an easy time. This has been one of the most difficult times of my life, but as with everything I always do my best to move forward with hopeful and positive spirits," he wrote on February 17. "But you see, I was always taught by my pops that 'we bend but don't break.' But some very good people showed me otherwise."

Gunn subsequently retweeted their costar Deandra Kanu's tweets about Christian, including one post that read, "I'm not an inherently messy person, but when I see things in real time and then see someone skew that perception for social media it's very scary. [It's] not okay by any means to be the catalyst of your own demise and then go onto socials and ask for the publics sympathy. There are always two sides to a story."

When Iaconetti brought up the "shady" social media activity, Gunn responded, "I have not been shady in any sort of way."

The podcast host then asked about recent remarks that Christian wasn't on the show for the right reasons.

"I didn’t say that they weren’t there for love," she explained. "Being in the circumstances we were in, it became reality, like, coming off of the show, and sometimes who you meet on the show is not who they are after the show. … I'm not trying to shade in any way. Our whole relationship was legit, of course. I loved him from the bottom of my heart, I’m sure he loved me back. It just didn’t work out. There’s no shade."

Yes, he's seen the news! Scott Disick poked fun at himself upon hearing his ex-girlfriend Sofia Richie got engaged less than six months after his former longtime love Kourtney Kardashian's man, Travis Barker, put a ring on it.

"In the 305 just call me good luck chuck," the 38-year-old Flip It Like Disick alum wrote alongside a snap of himself on a boat in Miami on Wednesday, April 20, via Instagram.

Disick is referencing Dane Cook's character in the 2007 film Good Luck Chuck. In the movie, Charlie (Cook) notices a pattern when his exes repeatedly get engaged to the man they date after him. Richie, for her part, revealed on Wednesday that boyfriend Elliot Grainge got down on one knee.

"Forever isn't long enough," the 23-year-old model captioned a series of photos with Grainge, 27.

Richie and the music executive have been linked for more than one year, getting together after Lionel Richie's daughter split from Disick in August 2020.

"Scott has moved on from Sofia. It's been almost two years since they broke up," a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday. "He would be happy for her and just wish her well. He's not heartbroken over this, that's for sure. He's way more heartbroken over Kourtney's engagement to Travis."

Kardashian, 43, who dated Disick on and off for a decade until their 2015 breakup, accepted a proposal from Barker, 46, in October 2021.
