Clapping Back! Christina Haack Defends Josh Hall: He 'Treats Me Like a Queen'

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 01:10 PM PDT

Far from a flop! Christina Haack and Joshua Hall's sweet love story has captivated fans since they first announced their relationship in July 2021.

Following her divorce from Ant Anstead, the Christina on the Coast star was spotted with a handsome stranger who Us Weekly subsequently confirmed was Hall. Soon after, Haack opened up about her new relationship in a lengthy Instagram post, noting she wanted to "protect" her new beau from all the hard parts of life in the spotlight.

"I met Josh when I wasn't in a state of fear or fight-or-flight. … The synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore," she wrote on July 8, 2021. "I felt immediately crazy protective over him and wanted to keep him for myself and get to know each other before the tornado (media attention) hit."

The HGTV star then detailed how her relationship had progressed since the pair officially got together. According to a source, they'd first met years earlier during a real estate conference.

"We've had a few solid months of just us getting to know each other and I've loved every second of it," Haack wrote.

The Wellness Remodel author also slammed critics who said the relationship came along too soon.

"Yes 'another relationship' and guess what. I'm 38 — I'll do what I want," she added. "The synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore."

Before her marriage to Anstead, Haack was married to her Flip or Flop costar Tarek El Moussa. The California native seems to approve of his ex-wife’s new relationship, having told Entertainment Tonight in July 2021 that he's met Hall "a few times" through real estate work.

The Tarek's Flip Side host also said that he thinks Hall "seems like" a good guy.

"[I] don't really know him, but I sure hope so," he added.

The former costars share two children: daughter Taylor, born in 2010, and son Brayden, born in 2015. Haack also shares son Hudson, born in 2019, with Anstead.

"I never thought I would have one divorce let alone two," Haack wrote via Instagram in September 2020 to announce her second split. "I never thought I would have 2 baby daddies – but sometimes life throws us curve balls. Instead of getting stuck in these 'setbacks' I choose to look at these challenges as opportunities to grow. So while some may judge me and throw around rumors about me, most of you support me. And that says a lot about this world and where we are headed. I'm messy, I'm real and I'm working on healing. … We are all a work in progress."

Shortly after making her relationship Instagram official, Haack clapped back at trolls who criticized her for moving on. “I met Josh when I wasn’t in a state of fear or fight-or-flight … I had taken time off social, hired a spiritual coach and smoked a Bufo toad (which basically reset my brain and kicked out years of anxiety in 15 mins),” she wrote via Instagram on July 8, 2021. “I may be a bit crazy and im definitely not perfect but I will never live my life based on other peoples judgments or opinions. We pride ourselves on never judging others and always wanting others to be happy and we wish others would have the same respect. Josh doesn’t have social media, but I want to thank him for whisking me away on a romantic tropical vacation he planned entirely on his own. ❤️✈️.” MEGA

Celebs Visit Disney Theme Parks!

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 01:00 PM PDT

The love for Disney Parks is universal! Celebrities are just as obsessed with Disney World and Disneyland as anyone else — and these photos prove it.

When Hollywood's most famous wish upon a star, they just might end up at one of Mickey Mouse's theme parks. However, some celebs have been making trips to Cinderella's castle long before they were well known.

"I grew up in Orange County, so I grew up going to Disneyland all the time," Milo Ventimiglia explained during a February 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, noting that he spent an eventful 12th birthday at the park. "Growing up at Disneyland, I mean, it was one of those places that you'd go and you'd fall in love, but you'd also like go and like get in real trouble."

Drew Barrymore experienced something most parents are familiar with when she took her daughters — Olive and Frankie, whom she shares with ex-husband Will Kopelman — to Disney World. The actress noted that her kids were on "a big puffy princess cloud" … until they weren't.

"If you've ever taken your kid to Disneyland or Disney World, it all ends at some point in mayhem," she admitted on Late Night With Seth Meyers in February 2017. "That is a legitimate picture of my daughter just losing it on the floor." The image she showed had her little one experiencing a full-on tantrum while dressed up like a fairytale character.

The pattern repeated itself during another visit. "This is her losing it at Disneyland — because it all ends up there," Barrymore said. "You push it enough because you're like, 'I'm here! Let's skip the nap! Let's go, go, go!' You want to maximize it. This is how it always ends for me."

On the other hand, some stars worry their children won't enjoy Disney as much as they do. "We've gone to [Disneyland] probably a bit more than is healthy," Ginnifer Goodwin admitted to Disney Twenty-Three in February 2016.

The Once Upon a Time alum and husband Josh Dallas' son Oliver is set to follow in her footsteps, but the actress still has her doubts. "He cries when we take him away from the characters instead of what most toddlers do, which is cry when the characters come to them," she elaborated. "I have a couple deep, dark fears about childbearing — like they won't love Disneyland because I'll oversaturate them."

However, kids aren't the only ones who love riding Space Mountain again and again. Ryan Gosling has admitted he's a full-on Disney adult. The former Mouseketeer told Esquire in August 2011 that he "went through puberty in a theme park."

While that might sound like a bad thing, the Remember the Titans actor admitted it was "grateful," telling the magazine, "That place was a landscape to me. I had adventures every day. … Backstage at Disney World, there are stories. Mickey Mouse with his head off, drinking coffee on break. Pirates on the phone. Ghosts in line for food. It just made me see things.”

Kristin Cavallari Is 'Ready for a Relationship' and 'Open to One More' Baby After Jay Cutler Divorce

Opening up. Kristin Cavallari kept it real when fans asked her about her personal life as her divorce from Jay Cutler continues, and they all wanted to know about one thing — dating.

A Complete Guide to Kristin Cavallari's Dating History

Read article

On Sunday, April 2, the Laguna Beach alum, 35, opened up a question-and-answer session on her Instagram Story. “You guys are so funny. This is the number one question I got,” she said of a question asking if she was back in the dating game. “Sooo let’s just start this thing off strong.”

She continued, “I’ve honestly needed the past 2 years to work through some heavy stuff. I dated a little here and there but no one serious. I am finally in a place where I’m ready for a relationship.”

Since she and Cutler announced their split in April 2020, Cavallari has been linked to comedian Jeff Dye and singer Chase Rice. Summer House‘s Craig Conover claimed they hooked up, but a source close to Cavallari denied the allegations to Us Weekly in February.

So, is she dating currently? Cavallari refused to give a yes or no response. “I realize that didn’t really answer that question,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Saturday. “Let’s just say this: when you are able to finally fully close a chapter, it’s amazing what you will start to attract.”

As for what she’s looking for in a potential partner, the former Very Cavallari star said she wanted someone to be her “rock” in life. She wants “someone who is so comfortable in their own skin who is stable and has their own s–t going on. I want a good, sweet guy.”

The businesswoman added that she’s trying to avoid a certain type. “I’m done with narcissist a–holes thank you very much,” Cavallari said.

While she isn’t necessarily planning to have more kids, she wouldn’t mind expanding her family. “My life feels very full with my 3 butttt,” she wrote. “I would be open to one more.”

The True Comfort author shares sons Camden, 9, and Jaxon, 7, and daughter Saylor, 6, with her ex-husband. She and the former Chicago Bears quarterback share custody of the trio.

Though Cavallari and Cutler’s marriage didn’t last, the Uncommon James founder still hopes to walk down the aisle again. “I still very much believe in marriage and I’ve had tremendous growth over the past 2 years so I will be entering a new relationship as a different person which really entices me,” she explained.

The jewelry designer even had a little advice for anyone leaving a toxic relationship. “Really taking the time to work through it. Allowing yourself to feel all the emotions. It took me literally 2 years to fully heal,” she said.

While she is seemingly calling her marriage to Cutler “toxic,” he might not feel the same.

"Jay is still very much hung up on Kristin," an insider exclusively told Us in March. "He still has a lot of love for her and wishes things weren't as they are."

The source added, "They are coparenting well — he just wishes they were still together. .. He deeply cares about her."

Tinseltown is up to some tricks! Though Hollywood can be a serious business, celebrities often share their light-hearted sides — and what better way to prove their comedic nuance than with practical jokes at the expense of others?

The Kardashian-Jenner family have pulled a number of pranks on each other over the years, but perhaps none more iconic than Scott Disick's Todd Kraines gag, in which he pretends to be a friend of the family on phone calls with Kris Jenner. The Flip It Like Disick alum's high-pitched "imitation" of Kraines — and the momager's reaction — never failed to leave the family in hysterics.

While Disick’s prank calls are legendary in the Kardashian family and in the Kardashian fandom, Jenner once received an entirely different call based on an entirely different (and much more serious) prank.

While playing “Truth or Dare” with Kourtney KardashianKendall Jenner called their mom and pretended that she just found out she was pregnant. Kris, who believed her daughter immediately, even told her second-youngest that she dreamt about Kendall's supposed pregnancy the night before. (Kim Kardashian, on the other hand, had a much stronger reaction to the model's alleged news when Kendall played the same prank several years prior on Khloé Kardashian's short-lived talk show, Kocktails With Khloé, getting upset and stressed about the situation.)

Meanwhile, no celebrity prank would be complete without the masters: Ashton Kutcher and Ellen DeGeneres.

Kutcher, whose MTV series Punk'd was a staple in the early 2000s, terrified countless celebrities throughout his stint as host, including Travis Barker, Mandy Moore, The Rock, Lindsay LohanMissy Elliott and many more. The most memorable, however, were his practical jokes on Justin Timberlake (who cried when he thought all of his belongings were being seized by the government) and Drake (who visibly panicked when he thought he was involved in an earthquake).

DeGeneres, for her part, has been playfully scaring stars for decades on her eponymous talk show: Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anne Hathaway and many more have all fell victim to her pop-out surprises. When she's not frightening her A-list guests, the Finding Dory star has them go out and embarrass themselves in front of unsuspecting people. ("Dennis Quaid is here!" is a classic.)

Adele Pranks Unsuspecting Adele Impersonators
The “Someone Like You” singer took her song title to heart in 2015 when she pretended to be an Adele impersonator named Jenny just trying to fit in with the rest of the group of impersonators at a BBC event. Despite the fact that the actual Adele — disguised in prosthetics and using a deep voice — was talking to them throughout the show, the women didn’t realize it was her until she started singing — and they started crying. Justin Timberlake's Cars and More Get 'Repossessed' on 'Punk'd'
Timberlake's episode of Punk’d is historic for good reason: The “Cry Me a River” singer actually shed some tears himself, visibly upset over the idea that government employees (including one played by the then-relatively unknown Dax Shepard were removing all of his belongings from his home. The former ‘Nsync star later revealed that the reason he cried during the episode was because he was high. YouTube; Inset: Shutterstock
Scott Disick’s Todd Kraines Prank on Kris Jenner
Disick’s impersonation of the Kardashian's family friend was so hilarious that the reality star did it multiple times throughout the run of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “Auntie Kris, it’s me! It’s Todd Kraines!” he told Kris over the phone intermittently over several years. The real Todd Kraines later got in on the joke with Disick, showing up to a family ski trip saying the father of three’s exact lines. YouTube; Inset: Shutterstock
Dennis Quaid Pranks Starbucks Barista and Customers on ‘Ellen’
One of DeGeneres’ best pranks was when she enlisted Dennis Quaid to walk into the Starbucks on the studio lot, announce his presence and repeatedly refer to himself in the third person. “Dennis Quaid is here!” the Parent Trap actor yelled upon entering the coffee shop. He even had the barista sing Harry Belafonte’s “Day-O!” with him before confessing the whole thing was a joke. YouTube
Kevin Hart Puts Nick Cannon’s Real Cell Phone Number on Multiple Billboards
Hart and fellow comedian Cannon were involved in a massive prank war in 2021, beginning with the Wild N’ Out host sending the Jumanji star a llama for his birthday. To retaliate, after news broke that Cannon was expecting his seventh child, Hart put up billboards in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta that read, “If you want any advice on fatherhood, please call my best friend Nick Cannon,” complete with the Masked Singer host’s actual phone number. The jokes didn’t end there, as Cannon later plastered his face on the side of Hart's jet and the Scary Movie 3 actor sent his pal a vending machine full of condoms for Valentine’s Day 2022. Ashton Kutcher Makes Drake Believe There’s an Earthquake on ‘Punk’d’
On his way to meet Barack Obama, the “Best I Ever Had” rapper gets trapped in an earthquake — or so he thought. As the parking lot appears to shake and explode all around him, Drake delves deeper and deeper into panic mode: cursing, calling his mom and attempting to fathom what’s happening. YouTube
Justin Bieber Pranks ‘Ellen’ Guests in the Bathroom
While Bieber has been both the prankster and the one getting pranked on Ellen, he was in the driver’s seat the time he and the talk show host cooked up an idea to scare unsuspecting guests on their way to the bathroom. The “Ghost of You” singer hid in the corner of a bathroom stall until each person would go in. Then he would pop out and startle them twice, as they were initially frightened by the unexpected person — and then taken aback that that person was Bieber himself. YouTube
Kendall Fakes a Pregnancy to Kim and Kris
After calling Kim to pretend she was pregnant on "Kocktails With Khloé," Kendall was in for an earful from the SKIMS founder. “I’m not the one to talk to, because I have like the worst experience and I’m so fresh off of the worst birthing experience,” the KKW Beauty mogul started. “I mean, today is not the day cause I literally would be a bit more negative cause I’m on one hour of sleep cause North was up all night and I was feeding [Saint] every two seconds and literally, my day has been like, so crazy and I’ve had no sleep and I want to like, die.” She then told Kendall, “I’ll bring my 30 kids and you can babysit for two seconds to see how you feel.” Kendall also told Kris that the two pregnancy tests she supposedly took “came back positive.” For her part, when Kendall played the same prank with Kourtney later on, Kris handled it all in stride and seemed to be excited for the 818 Tequila founder. "That’s so weird you just told me this because I dreamed about this last night,” the momager replied. “I’ll put on my clothes and get over there. Well, I’ll tell you, Kendall; you have to do whatever your heart tells you to do. I think it’s great news, but I’m your mom.” Upon finding out it was a prank, Kris joked, “Oh f--k. Oh brother, I’ll go put the champagne back on ice.” Youtube; Inset: Shutterstock
Nickelodeon Producer Pranks One Direction, Pretends She’s Going into Labor
In 2012, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson got in on a prank with Nickelodeon to trick the rest of One Direction (Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne) that their pregnant producer was going into labor. While Horan seemed unsure of what to do in the situation, Payne called the woman’s husband and Styles held her hand and did breathing exercises with her. YouTube

Plenty of Love! Ben Platt and Noah Galvin’s Complete Relationship Timeline

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 10:45 AM PDT

It's only them! After years of friendship, Ben Platt and Noah Galvin's relationship turned romantic as they spent time together in lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"Ben and I are dating," the Good Doctor actor first revealed during a May 2020 appearance on Ilana Levine's "Little Known Things" podcast. “I asked him this morning. I was like, ‘Are we allowed to talk about this?’ And he's like, 'Don't go into our nitty-gritty, but yeah, people can know.' It's still relatively new."

The duo — who have both portrayed the titular character in Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen — kept their romance relative private after confirming the news. However, they often can't resist gushing about one another.

"Long story short, Ben made me a birthday video. Ben very sweetly for the past, like, probably three months, has been putting together this video for me," the Real O'Neals alum said during the podcast interview. "It's all my favorite drag queens from RuPaul's Drag Race and beyond and all of my friends in drag, wishing me a happy birthday."

Shortly after the musical theatre stars quarantined together — and costarred in a series of "QuaranTunes Dance Parties" on Instagram — the pair grew even closer while staying at Platt's childhood home, eventually getting a labradoodle named George together. The budding romance has provided major creative inspiration for both of the actors.

"The song ['Imagine'] came to me from Michael Pollack, who's a really brilliant songwriter [and is] my EP on my whole second album … It spoke to me immediately because I recently entered into a relationship this year with my boyfriend, Noah Galvin," the Politician star explained during a June 2021 interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show. "We've been together for about a year and a half now. It was really crazy, we've been friends for, like, five years and right before the pandemic, we finally decided to, like, really give it a shot."

He told host Kelly Clarkson, "We've kind of skated around it for a long time and then it was, like, zero to 60, like we're living together with my parents in [my] childhood home and seeing each other all the time. But it ended up being a beautiful time."

Since then, their relationship has continued to flourish as they've each shared sweet tributes via social media.

"2021 often deeply sucked and yet he somehow made it mostly wonderful," the California native wrote via Instagram in December 2021 alongside a cozy selfie of the pair.

The Challenge’s Zach and Jenna Celebrate Dream Wedding After COVID Delays

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 09:53 AM PDT

Their dream day arrived! After Zach Nichols and Jenna Compono had to postpone their nuptials amid the coronavirus pandemic, they were finally able to celebrate with their family and friends as originally planned.

"She liked me so much, she married me twice," Nichols, 34, gushed in an Instagram Story video on Saturday, April 2, alongside his bride, 29.

The pair initially wed in March 2021 during an intimate ceremony in Michigan.

"We decided to have a mini personal wedding with just our immediate family in MI ❤," the couple wrote via Instagram at the time. "Our big one will be April 2nd 2022 in NY! 😝."

The twosome, who got engaged in December 2019 after dating on and off for two years, had postponed their initial wedding plans amid the global pandemic.

"With everything going on, we didn't want anyone to feel pressured or worried about attending our wedding," Compono exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2020. "It is supposed to be a celebration. We have so many friends and family, it was impossible for everyone to feel comfortable and we didn't want people to have to make the decision to come or not. We decided that we would postpone until 2022 when things are hopefully better by then."

She continued at the time: "It was a really hard decision. I have been finalizing so many things with my planner, Kristin Buonaiuto, and crossing my fingers things would blow over soon. But I think we made the right decision. I also want to send positive vibes out to all my other brides, because it's a really hard thing to go through!"

During Saturday's special day, the couple documented their church ceremony and lively party across their respective social media accounts. Following their sweet ceremony, the Challenge alums danced with their loved ones on a party bus that took them to the venue. Once they got to the reception, the couple danced some more under neon lights that said "Mr. and Mrs. Nichols" before tasting an eight-tiered wedding cake and gelato.

"Tomorrow Jenna gets to marry the man of her dreams… again. (Just kidding, I'm the lucky one)," Nichols previously gushed via Instagram on Friday, April 1.

The newlyweds initially met while filming The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 before they started dating. After a brief breakup in 2016, they reunited in May 2018, one year before getting engaged. Nichols and Compono announced in February 2021 that they were expecting their first child. (Son Anthony was born in September 2021.)

"Happy Valentine's Day! I gave Jenna some lovin', and she's giving me a family," the Michigan native wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside ultrasound pics. "I have never been this excited. August couldn't come soon enough … because that is when Jenna will officially be a milf."

Bill Maher Reacts to Will Smith's Slap: 'Alopecia Is Not Leukemia'

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 09:40 AM PDT

The slap heard 'round the world. Will Smith stunned the star-studded audience — and everyone watching at home — when he took to the stage and smacked Chris Rock across the face after the comedian made a "joke" about Jada Pinkett Smith's hair loss at the 2022 Oscars on Sunday, March 27.

"Jada, I love you," the comedian said from the stage, quipping, "G.I. Jane 2, can't wait to see it," referring to the actress' buzzed head, as G.I. Jane star Demi Moore wore a similar style. (Pinkett Smith, 50, has often been open about losing her hair due to alopecia.)

As the camera cut to the Smiths, the King Richard star, 53 — who later won the Oscar for best actor — seemed to smile at Rock's joke, while Pinkett Smith intensely rolled her eyes. Though it initially seemed that Smith was OK with the quip, he quickly walked onstage and slapped the Longest Yard actor, 57, across the face. Once he returned to his seat, he yelled, "Keep my wife's name out of your f–king mouth.”

"Wow. Will Smith just smacked the s–t outta me," Rock said to the audience before returning to handing out the award for best documentary.

For his part, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum later referenced — and apologized for — the altercation in his speech when accepting his Oscar for King Richard.

Celebs React to Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock

"Oh, man. Richard Williams was a fierce defender of his family," Smith said, relating his behavior to that of Serena and Venus Williams' father, the role he played in the film. "I'm being called on in my life to love people and to protect people and to be a river to my people. I know to do what we do, you got to be able to take abuse. You got to be able to have people talk crazy about you. In this business you got to be able to have people disrespecting you. And you got to smile, you got to pretend like that's OK."

The 7 Pounds actor also apologized to several people for his behavior — though not explicitly to Rock.

"I want to apologize to the academy. I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees," he added. "Art imitates life: I look like the crazy father. Just like they said about Richard Williams. But love will make you do crazy things."

He later apologized directly to the presenter the following day in a lengthy statement. “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris,” Smith wrote via Instagram on March 28. “I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”

Stars who were both in attendance and watching at home had a lot to say about the drama — from Rock's "joke" to Smith's slap. Scroll below to see how celebrities reacted to the incident:

Bill Maher
The April 1 episode of HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher addressed the host's feelings about the slap. “To Will Smith: stay strong and I got your back," Maher said. “April Fools. You’re a d--k.” Maher then said he had trouble feeling sorry for Pinkett Smith. "Comparing a woman to Demi Moore looking her hottest is not exactly the worst insult I've ever heard. I mean, Alopecia is not leukemia,” he added. Casey Curry/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Sheryl Underwood
“I’m going to say this as a comic, I am afraid now to get on a stage,” Underwood said on The Talk in April 2022. “Because in my third show, when everyone’s been drinking. If you don’t like my joke, do you now believe that you can get up and slap me?” Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock
Amanda Seyfried
The Dropout star threw shade at both Smith and the Academy on Wednesday, March 30, when she posted a photo of the actor dancing with his award at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. "Also pretty certain the Academy didn't tell him to f--k off before his win," Seyfried claimed via her Instagram Story. Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Daniel Radcliffe
Radcliffe declined to weigh in on the situation during his Thursday, March 31, appearance on Good Morning Britain. "I’m just so already dramatically bored of hearing people’s opinions about it that I just don’t want to be another opinion adding to it," the Harry Potter star explained. He did, however, sympathize with everyone in the audience that night who witnessed the uncomfortable moment, adding, "When you’re going on stuff as a kid you’re never quite sure if the joke’s with you or you’re the butt of the joke. So you sort of have a mode of just being like, ‘I’ll just keep smiling and laughing and maybe it’ll end soon.'” Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock
Joseph Patel
The Summer of Soul producer — who took home the Best Documentary Feature trophy alongside Questlove — slammed both Smith and Rock for overshadowing the exciting moment in a series of since-deleted tweets on Thursday. When the film was announced as the winner, the comedian said the award would go to "Questlove and four white guys," when in fact it went to the Roots frontman, Patel, Robert Fyvolent and David Dinerstein, only the latter two of whom are white. "The reason that makes me SO SO VERY ANGRY is because I was so proud to be one of a handful of South Asians to have ever won an Oscar in the history of the award," Patel wrote via Twitter, adding that he was also the third South Asian artist to win that night. "That's never happened before! And it's meaningful! It's history!" Though he acknowledged that Rock was in a stressful situation when he made the quip, Patel still shared his frustration with the entire incident, noting, "I'm angry. Angry at Will Smith. Angry at Chris Rock. Angry for me. Angry for Ahmir. Angry for my fellow filmmakers." Kristina Bumphrey/Shutterstock
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
“When Will Smith stormed onto the Oscar stage to strike Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife’s short hair, he did a lot more damage than just to Rock’s face,” the NBA legend wrote via a Substack essay on Monday, March 28. “With a single petulant blow, he advocated violence, diminished women, insulted the entertainment industry, and perpetuated stereotypes about the Black community.” He continued: “I don’t want to see [Smith] punished or ostracized because of this one, albeit a big one, mistake. I just want this to be a cautionary tale for others not to romanticize or glorify bad behavior. And I want Smith to be the man who really protects others — by admitting the harm he’s done to others.” Stewart Cook/Shutterstock
Lamar Odom
“He loves his wife. I do not condone violence against anyone,” the former Los Angeles Lakers athlete captioned a Tuesday, March 29, Instagram snap. “@willsmith loves @jadapinkettsmith. I was told love covers a multitude of sins.♥️… Had I protected my wife [ex Khloé Kardashian] versus mentally, emotionally and spiritually hurting her, I may still be married.” John Salangsang/Shutterstock
Bethenny Frankel
“You have a presenter that’s working for you at The Academy. … They are working for you. They touch somebody, they punch somebody, they slap somebody. You have the person removed,” the Real Housewives of New York City alum said on a Tuesday, March 29, episode of her “Just B” podcast. “You give them their award separately. It’s not like, ‘Oh, hey, I know you just smacked somebody presenting, but now we’re going to give you an award.’” Frankel continued: “It’s awkward at best. I did not see the whole show. But from what I understand, that’s what happened. I can’t overstate the fact that you just can’t touch another person. It’s a bad example for your kids. It’s a bad example for America.” John Salangsang/Shutterstock
Zoe Kravitz
"Here's a picture of my dress at the show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now," the Batman star captioned a red carpet photo via Instagram on Tuesday, March 29. Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock
Tim Allen
The Home Improvement alum tweeted, "It's not ok to come up on stage and hit a dude cause you don't like the humor. It's not ok at a Comedy Club, concert hall or hosting some cheeseball award show. Chris Rock is a stand up comedian and a standup guy who carried on. I think I would have run." MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Alec Baldwin
"I am not reading much about how, or even if, the producers attended to Chris," the 30 Rock alum tweeted, later sharing a screenshot of the post via his Instagram account. "But I love you, @chrisrock. And I'm sorry the Oscars turned into the Jerry Springer show." John Salangsang/Shutterstock
Mark Hamill
The Star Wars actor tweeted a photo of the smackdown, writing, "Stand-up comics are very adept at handling hecklers. Violent physical assault... not so much. #UgliestOscarMoment_Ever." Todd Williamson/January Images/Shutterstock
Jodie Turner-Smith
The Queen & Slim star was "still processing" the heated moment after the ceremony, tweeting, "I have second hand embarrassment for all involved." Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock
Jimmy Fallon
"America may be divided, but it was kind of nice for all of us to come together and say, 'holy crap' at the same time," the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon host quipped during his monologue one day after the awards show. "Of course, I have to address the big moment that everyone's talking about, and that is Questlove winning the Oscar for best documentary!" Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock
James Corden
The U.K. native told Late Late Show With James Corden viewers that the "whole incident threw me off in a huge way" while discussing the ceremony on his show. "Also completely ruined my chances in the Oscar pool. I had Dame Judi Dench smacking Woody Harrelson," he teased, going on to praise Rock for "keeping the show moving." Magnus Sundholm/Shutterstock
Stephen Colbert
"Let me say something as an objective observer: It's never OK to punch a comedian," the writer said on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. "Will Smith was offended by the joke and wanted to stand up for his wife. Fine. Challenge Chris to a duel or, if you really want to hurt a comedian, don't laugh. That hurts way more than a punch, I promise you." Omar Vega/JanuaryImages/Shutterstock
Seth Meyers
The former Saturday Night Live cast member joked that "the last thing" he'd expect at the Academy Awards "was a display of narcissism," adding, "The 94th Academy Awards were held last night and featured the first live performance of 'We Don't Talk About Bruno,' from the Disney musical Encanto, followed by an unbelievable live performance of 'We Don't Talk About Jada.'" ‘The View’ Cohosts
“I think Will was immature, I think he was childish and he was violent,” Sunny Hostin said on the show. Whoopi Goldberg, an Academy governor weighed in on the idea of the Academy taking away his Oscar. “There will be consequences I’m sure, but I don’t think that’s what they’re going to do, particularly because Chris said ‘Listen, I’m not pressing any charges,’” she said. Ana Navarro didn't mince words. "Hitting somebody is a crime, a crime of assault. While she called Rock's quip “a lame joke, a joke in very poor taste,” she believes the slap and the remark were “not equivalent.” Joy Behar discussed the impact on comedians. “They want us [comedians] to be edgy, to go out there and say what everyone’s thinking … and then they get mad.” Shutterstock (2)
Janet Hubert
“There is only so much one can take… sometimes you have to slap back,” the actress, who portrayed Aunt Viv on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, tweeted. “Celebrate the win… nothing else matters. Both actions were incorrect but Chris didn’t need to go there.” Marion Curtis/StarPix for HBOmax/Shutterstock

The entrepreneur attempted to play peacemaker after the incident when presenting The Godfather tribute on stage. “OK, Will and Chris, we’re going to solve that like family at the Gold Party, OK?" the rapper said. Nick Viall
When asked how the altercation compared to Bachelor Nation drama, the "Viall Files" podcast host told Us that the Oscars moment was "way more dramatic" than the reality dating show. "He walked up on stage and slapped him," Viall said at the 30th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday. "I think most people just wondered if it was like a bit or a joke, if it was fake. I think pretty quickly we realized it was serious." The ABC personality noted that the situation was "unfortunate" on several levels. "Chris Rock is there to be a comedian. He tells jokes, obviously, you know, there's always going to be some at the expense of people. ... Everyone has a right to feel though how they feel, and we have our hurt feelings, but how we handle our hurt feelings matters," Viall told Us. "I don't know if Will handled it the best. But his performance [in King Richard] was amazing. Congrats to him for winning the Oscar, certainly well-deserved in his performance. It just — I feel like it took away from his moment. I feel like more people are going to be talking about that than his award. And that's unfortunate for everyone." Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

"I love Chris Rock. I don’t think he would’ve made that joke had he known what Jada recently shared- but between him & the whole team @ the #Oscars you mean to tell me not ONE of y’all heard this woman just share this heartbreaking story? #ComeOnSon," the rapper wrote on Twitter. " .... You just got to witness in real time what happens in a man’s soul when he looks over to the woman he loves & sees her holding back tears from a “little joke” at her expense. This is what any & every real man feels in that instant. while y’all seeing the joke he’s seeing her pain." Matt Baron/Shutterstock

“Will Smith said ‘Not Today,'" the Good Place alum shared via Twitter, alongside a Malcolm X quote. "A man big enough to absolutely floor him, slapped him softly enough that Chris barely moved, because he made fun of his wife’s alopecia on a world stage. The 42-year-old Superstore alum, for his part, tearfully said yes before proclaiming via Instagram that his new fiancé has "my heart forever."

Santos teased back: "Stop spreading lies! I am NOT, I repeat, NOT…25!"

The Crazy Rich Asians actor and the comedian's relationship has continued to heat up social media through the years.

"I fell in love! About three years ago at the GLAAD Awards, I met my boyfriend, actor Nico Santos," Smith told EW in March 2021. Before the duo met, Smith made headlines after he was outed as transgender during an April 2017 episode of Survivor: Game Changers.

"We'd never seen a trans story responded to with such overwhelming outrage toward the wrongdoer and sympathy toward the wronged," Smith wrote in a The Hollywood Reporter column after his elimination from the CBS competition, noting his optimism about the future. "Typically, trans victims of crimes far worse than what I endured are ridiculed and the perpetrators let off scot-free."

He continued: "I remain at a loss to fully explain the reaction, but I am grateful and humbled. I am optimistic that this moment — both the example set by Survivor and 'The Episode's' response — will serve as a model for how trans people will be treated by the media in the future." To the trans person who enters the spotlight next, I hope you get it as good as I did. To the person after, I hope you are met with utter indifference."

Celebrity Engagements of 2022: Stars Who Got Engaged This Year

Ready to walk down the aisle! Several celebrity couples took their love to the next level in 2022 by getting engaged.

Josh Duhamel popped the question to Audra Mari in January after two years of dating. The actor was previously married to Fergie from 2009 to 2019, and the exes share son Axl, whom they welcomed in August 2013.

"They are both really good people and committed to their son, but they are too different to make it work," a source told Us Weekly in September 2017 shortly after the duo confirmed their split.

Fergie opened up in October 2017 about calling it quits with Duhamel. "It wasn't my plan," she said on The Wendy Williams Show at the time. "I wanted to stay married forever."

A year later, the Las Vegas alum hinted at his desire to remarry. "I want to have more kids in the next few years. So it's more about finding someone young enough to have kids," he explained on the "Armchair Expert" podcast in December 2018. "It's not as if I'm out there just trying to f–k anything. That's really not who I am. I'm trying to find a girl that I can be with and have a family with, you know?"

Duhamel also reflected on his failed romance with Fergie at the time. "Ferg and I had a great relationship. I love that girl and I always will. Unfortunately, we didn't work, but I will always have her back and she is the mother of my baby," he shared. "She's awesome. So I'm just trying to find somebody. That's kind of what I'm looking for."

After the Transformers star posted on social media about his betrothal to Mari, the former Black Eyed Peas member wished her ex-husband well. "Congrats!!!" she commented via Instagram, adding six green heart emojis.

Jeremiah Duggar, meanwhile, announced his engagement to Hannah Wissmann in January. The news came three months after the pair revealed their courtship.

"Never been so happy. Never felt so blessed!!" the 19 Kids and Counting alum gushed via Instagram in October 2021. "Getting to know each other has been one of the greatest joys of our lives! We are excited to start sharing our story with all of you and to see what God has in store for our future. #mygirlfriend."

She added at the time: "I looked at the [show's] script and I said to myself, ‘Oh, that couldn’t be.' … I said, 'Oh, no, it’s impossible. On TV? It’s impossible.' She lived in that apartment that they got married in with the same furniture and the same husband and one son that was a loser. I mean, she had everything bad! I thought it was funny."

Always in our hearts. Hollywood mourned the loss of icons such as Betty White and John Madden in the final days of 2021 — and unfortunately, 2022 also came with celebrity deaths that have fans reeling.

The sports world lost a football great in Dan Reeves who passed away on January 1. The 77-year-old Georgia native appeared in nine Super Bowls during his career — winning once as a player and once as an assistant coach.

"Thank you so much for all your prayers for my brother," Mike said in a statement on January 2, after Jay was hospitalized with the virus a few days prior. "You have walked with him through a huge fight, and I'm so sorry to bring this news but I'm also excited to celebrate where he is right now. My brother Jay went to be with Jesus just a couple hours ago due to complications due to COVID-19 on top of everything else that he already had going on."

He continued: “The Lord used [Jay] in such a might way out on the road for so many years … I believe even though COVID may have taken his last breath, Jesus was right there to catch him. My heart’s broke for my family, but we all just really wanted to thank you for walking with us through so much for so long.”

On January 5, the Korean film world mourned the death of a young star in Kim Mi-soo, who passed away at age 29.

"Kim suddenly left us on January 5," the late performer's agency, Landscape Entertainment, said in a statement translated by the publication Korea JoongAng Daily. Who Is Tyler Hynes? 6 Things to Know About the Hallmark Channel Star

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 06:17 AM PDT

That's Amore! Tyler Hynes has been a Hallmark Channel staple since 2018 — and with more than 10 films on the network under his belt, he's only getting started.

The 35-year-old actor made his Hallmark debut as a businessman named Zac, who gets roped into participating in a bachelor auction, in Falling for You. However, Hynes' career in front of the camera started decades before that movie came out.

His first big screen credit came in 1998 with Little Men. The same year, he appeared in Home Team. Hynes went on to find success as a TV actor with roles on Amazon, Valemont, Saving Hope, UnREAL and Letterkenny.

Over the years, the Canadian filmmaker has managed to find his way back to the Hallmark Channel. He starred in his first holiday movie for the network in 2018's It's Christmas, Eve and has never looked back.

Hynes' most recent film, Always Amore — which comes out on Sunday, April 3, on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel — marks his 12th leading role for the network. This time around, he's honoring the service industry and highlighting the art of Italian cooking alongside Autumn Reeser.

"To everyone in the hospitality industry who's done their best to keep their doors open these past few years, successfully or not, this one's for you," the star wrote via Instagram in February after the movie was announced. "When your doors are open, we'll be there🙏🏻. Ciao, Bella ;)."

In the film, Hynes' character, Ben, is enlisted to help Elizabeth (Reeser) keep her late husband's Italian restaurant afloat. Despite butting heads at the start of the project, the two seemingly put aside their differences and fall for each other.

Hynes described his costar as "very, very talented" and "sweet and lovely" during a March episode of the "Dear Hallmark" podcast. Their onscreen chemistry, however, didn’t help the Winter in Vail star from avoiding an on-set mishap toward the end of shooting.

"The last injury I had was on this movie though and it was a doozy," Hynes told Remark the Show in March. "I got a concussion while making this movie in the last two days."

The Flip That Romance actor clarified that he didn't get hurt while filming a scene, but rather while he was by himself on location. "I've had some spills in my time, this one really rocked my noodle and I was out of it. … I was by myself, just head in my hand, blood in my hands," he recalled. "And I was concussed and very much out of it."

Hynes added that he was "fully concussed" when he went back to shooting the last few scenes of Always Amore.

Amanda Bynes Through the Years: Photos

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 06:15 AM PDT

She's all that All That! Amanda Bynes has had a roller-coaster of a ride in Hollywood since she first rose to fame as a cast member on the '90s Nickelodeon sketch show.

The California native broke into the entertainment business at the age of 7 and quickly became one of the biggest child actors of her generation. After putting her comedic talents on display on All That for a few seasons, she landed her own series, The Amanda Show, which ran from 1999 to 2002.

As her time on both comedy shows came to a close in 2022, Bynes made her big screen debut as Kaylee in Big Fat Liar. Her success in movies only grew from there, landing the role of Daphne Reynolds in 2003's What a Girl Wants before starring alongside Channing Tatum in 2006's She's the Man.

The What I Like About You alum remained a Hollywood staple throughout the early 2000s, with hits that included Hairspray and Sydney White. She took a brief hiatus from acting in 2010 and announced at the time that she was retiring at 24, explaining via Twitter that "being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem."

She quickly "unretired" a few weeks later, sharing that she was playing Marianne in 2010's Easy A, which also starred Emma Stone and Penn Badgley.

Two years later, the former child star's personal life began to make bigger headlines than her career after she was arrested on suspicion of DUI in April 2012. While she pleaded not guilty, Bynes was charged with two misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run in September 2012.

The following year, the comedian was placed under a temporary conservatorship in August 2013 amid an accumulation of mental health and substance abuse issues. The decision came one month after Bynes was hospitalized and put on a psychiatric hold for setting a fire in a stranger's driveway in July 2013.

The Canned actress has since been vocal about her struggles with mental health, telling Paper Magazine in November 2018, "I just had no purpose in life. I'd been working my whole life and [now] I was doing nothing. I had a lot of time on my hands, and I would 'wake and bake' and literally be stoned all day long. [I was] hanging out with a seedier crowd and I isolated a lot … I got really into my drug usage, and it became a really dark, sad world for me."

The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising graduate — who hasn't had an acting role since 2010 — filed to end her conservatorship in February 2022 after nearly nine years. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Bynes "desires to live free of any constraint" in the future after working toward becoming a healthier and independent person free from drugs.

"I enjoy doing things that are scary or things that some girls might not like because it won't let them look gorgeous," the actress told CosmoGirl! magazine. The actress shed her clothes -- and her inhibitions -- when she appeared on the February 2010 cover of Maxim. "Some people still see me as a kid, but I'm a 23-year-old woman now," she told the magazine. "I mean, I'm not gonna do porn, but if it's a Leonardo DiCaprio movie or whatever...Point is, it's time for me to start making my own decisions."
Easy A
In 2010, Bynes announced her early retirement from show business. "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," she tweeted. "I know 24 is a young age to retire, but you heard it here first: I've retired." Weeks later, the star changed her mind, tweeting, "I've unretired." Bynes then posted a link to the trailer for the movie Easy A, in which she played a self-righteous high school student opposite Emma Stone, Penn Badgley and Aly Michalka. Living on the Edge
The Sydney White actress was officially charged with two misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run in September 2012. The actress was soon seen driving with a suspended license in Hollywood, prompting police officers to pull her over. After a 25-minute conversation, Bynes was allowed to go home. SPW / Splash News
Arrested, Again
In May 2013, at the height of her very public meltdown -- during which she posted several troubling tweets and exhibited increasingly erratic behavior -- Bynes was arrested for allegedly throwing a bong out the window of her New York City high-rise. After undergoing a psych evaluation, she was booked at Midtown Precinct North station for marijuana possession, reckless endangerment, and tampering with evidence.
Wigging Out
As Bynes' mental and emotional state deteriorated, she began wearing colored wigs while out and about in New York. This blue one was part of her ensemble for a June 2013 court appearance related to her May 2013 arrest. Within a few weeks after this photo was taken, she had been hospitalized on a 5150 psychiatric hold for setting a fire in a stranger's driveway in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, Calif. Healthy and Happy
Post-rehab, the What a Girl Wants actress moved back in with her parents and began the task of resuming a normal life. In the weeks after she was released, she was spotted taking walks with her family and hitting the gym. She also enrolled as a student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise in L.A. Back in the Press
The actress sat down for her first interview in four years on June 9, 2017, talking to Hollyscoop’s Diana Madison about her appreciation of Nick Cannon, her adoration of Blac Chyna, her love for spinning and her infamous 2013 Drake tweet. “I was, like, saying, ‘Murder my vagina,’” she recalled. “I was serious, but I was also on drugs, so that was my way of saying like, ‘Let’s do it, man.’ … It just means, like, ‘F–k me, Drake!’”
Preparing for a Comeback
A source told Us Weekly on February 11, 2018, that the Easy A alum was “excited about the next chapter of her professional life” and getting ready to make a Hollywood comeback. “Amanda will make it a reality,” the insider added. “2018 is going to be Amanda’s triumphant return!” Two months later, Bynes attended a fundraiser for California politician Pat Harris’ United States Senate bid, after which a source informed Us that the actress is “doing really well and basically just living her life” and is “on track to graduate from fashion school this summer.” Daniel Robertson/startraksphoto.com
Open and Honest
Bynes revealed her struggle with drugs, depression and more during a November 2018 interview for Paper magazine’s cover story. As for her head turning social media comments over the years, the retired actress told the publication: “I’m really ashamed and embarrassed with the things I said. I can’t turn back time but if I could, I would. And I'm so sorry to whoever I hurt and whoever I lied about because it truly eats away at me. It makes me feel so horrible and sick to my stomach and sad. Everything I worked my whole life to achieve, I kind of ruined it all through Twitter. It’s definitely not Twitter’s fault — it’s my own fault.” Danielle Levitt

Bachelorette’s Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs’ Relationship Timeline

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 06:02 AM PDT

Third time’s a charm! Becca Kufrin found love with Thomas Jacobs after deciding to give romance on reality TV another shot.

The former Bachelorette, who was previously engaged to Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Garrett Yrigoyen, returned to Bachelor Nation during season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, which premiered in August 2021.

Despite being a little gun shy at the thought of falling in love on a reality show following two failed engagements, Kufrin arrived on the beach five days into filming. While it wasn't love at first sight, she eventually fell for Jacobs, who fans met during season 17 of The Bachelorette earlier that year.

"We talked for maybe five minutes and at the end of the conversation he said something along the lines of … he called me a declined credit card," the Bourdon founder recalled during an October 2021 appearance on the "Talking It Out With Bachelor Nation" podcast of meeting Jacobs for the first time. "He was, like, trying to flirt and be kind of smooth and funny and it just came out wrong."

The pair were able to overcome their awkward first encounter and form a strong relationship while filming in Mexico. After a brief breakup during the show's finale, the two made up off camera and started dating outside of the spotlight.

"We came back [home] and had to explore that on our own away from the cameras but in that moment [on the beach during the finale], I think that was game-changing for me," Kufrin explained. "Because I have really never had somebody fight, I would say, like, tooth and nail to want to keep a relationship with me."

The "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast cohost later revealed that she called her mom shortly after connecting with the California native and told her how hard she fell for Jacobs.

"I was like, 'Mom, I think I want to marry this guy,'" she told listeners during her joint podcast interview in October 2021. "It's the first time I've ever actually said that out loud."

Jacobs, for his part, said he has asked Kufrin in "multiple text messages" about the type of ring she would want when he proposes. "It's something we’ve talked about," he said at the time. "I mean, I don’t want to spend my life with anybody else."

The lovebirds didn't give an exact date as to when they rekindled their romance after leaving Mexico, but both stars confirmed they were back on after the show's October 2021 finale aired.

"I feel safe with you. As if nothing could ever go terribly wrong," the real estate broker wrote via Instagram. "Thank you for being someone who I can put my trust in, someone who would never hurt me, someone who would never push 'us' away."

Pre-‘BiP’
Fans met Kufrin on season 22 of The Bachelor. During the season finale, Luyendyk Jr. proposed to the former public relations specialist, but later called off the engagement and moved on with runner-up Lauren Burnham. The race car driver married Burnham in 2019 and they have since welcomed daughter Alessi and twins Senna and Lux. Kufrin, for her part, became the Bachelorette on season 14, which premiered in May 2018. She got engaged to Yrigoyen during the finale but confirmed in September 2020 that they split. June 2021
Jacobs joined Bachelor Nation during season 17 of The Bachelorette. He was painted as a villain by the men in the house and cut by Katie Thurston for allegedly being there for “the wrong reasons.” Kufrin, however, didn’t know much about the San Diego, California, resident before meeting him on Bachelor in Paradise. “I had only seen, I think, the first two episodes of Katie’s season — it was before things got really bad for him,” she explained during an October 2021 appearance on the “Talking It Out With Bachelor Nation” podcast. “It was kind of like this weird mind [f—k] if you will because I was getting to know him for him on that beach and seeing how he interacted with everyone and seeing how everyone got along really well. And then when I would watch the show, I’d be like, ‘This isn't what I'm seeing, what's going on here?’ It was really, it was, like, this weird warp in my mind.” ABC/Craig Sjodin
Summer 2021
The former college athlete popped up during the second episode of Bachelor in Paradise season 7, which premiered in August 2021, but filmed earlier in the summer. Kufrin made her Paradise debut one week later. Although Jacobs initially pursued Tammy Ly, sparks quickly flew between him and the Minnesota native. ABC/Craig Sjodin

Despite having serious chemistry during BiP, Kufrin broke up with her love during the show’s finale, which aired in October. At the time, Kufrin told Jacobs that she had doubts about his sincerity. “I feel like you’re so good at being supportive and positive and surprising me in all of the best ways, but I feel like sometimes it’s too good to be true and that scares me,” she said. “I’ve been here twice now before, and I couldn’t leave here and feel OK about leaving with somebody that I don’t 100 percent fully know.” Jacobs tried to reassure her that he was all in, saying, “Everything inside of me screams that I’m falling in love with you,” to which Kufrin replied, “But I haven’t seen any of that.” After showing their breakup on TV, ABC announced that the twosome had since gotten back together. “They are happy and in love,” the title card read at the end of the episode. Bachelorette’s Becca Kufrin’s Dating History: A Guide to Her Love Life

Posted: 03 Apr 2022 06:01 AM PDT

Never giving up! Becca Kufrin hasn't stopped looking for The One despite having a few very public breakups over the years.

The former Bachelorette was ready for love when she first joined Bachelor Nation in 2018 — but her happily ever after was blown up after Arie Luyendyk Jr. called off their brief engagement and moved on with Lauren Burnham.

The Bourdon founder chose to go back to reality TV later that year, hoping to find a more permanent partner. However, she found herself alone again after splitting from ex-fiancé Garrett Yrigoyen in August 2020.

Despite the ups and downs in her love life, Kufrin has been vocal about the positives of joining the Bachelor family — and why she isn't afraid to put her heart on the line time and again.

"When people ask me if the Bachelor is 'real' or 'really works,' I always say yes," the former Bachelor Live Tour cohost wrote via Instagram in October 2020 alongside a photo of pal Caroline Lunny. "Because I found love in my friendships, and this girl is proof of how worthwhile that journey was."

One month prior, Kufrin revealed why she wasn't, however, in a rush to settle down after two failed engagements.

"I'm 30. I'm ready to maybe be OK with not having to throw all my eggs in one basket per se," she explained during a September 2020 episode of her and Rachel Lindsay's "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast. "Just kind of enjoy the experience that life and dating have to offer."

She continued: "I feel like, it's this weird, like, magical spot that I'm in right now. Maybe it's the fact that I also moved to L.A. and it's this new chapter. But it just feels like magic."

Kufrin eventually tried her hand at reality TV romance once again in the summer of 2021, joking that "third times the charm" after meeting Thomas Jacobs on Bachelor in Paradise. Despite briefly breaking up during the show's October 2021 finale, the twosome revealed that they are currently dating.

"I'm sorry for breaking up with you on national television, but I'll take every day to make it up to you, Tommy," Kufrin captioned an Instagram video after the finale aired. "Thanks for making my heart smile far more than it ever has. Now time to start this real life."

Shortly after the finale, the twosome shared more details about how they “picked up right where [they] left off” after returning from Mexico.

“We chatted until, like, three or four in the morning some nights and just talked about any and everything,” she said during an October 2021 episode of the “Talking It Out” podcast. “The second I saw him — because I flew back to L.A. and then drove down to San Diego — I think right away he picked me up and kissed me and then we just had unlimited time to explore what this could be.”

Scroll down for a look back at Kufrin's love life from college to now:

Ross Jirgl
The Minnesota native dated her college sweetheart on and off for roughly seven years before calling it quits in 2016. Kufrin spoke about their relationship while competing on The Bachelor in 2018, saying, “He got me through the hardest time I had ever lived through at that point when my dad passed away.” After Jirgl showed up on the show to try and win her back, Kufrin explained that too much time had passed between them. "We have both changed so much, and you don't really know who I am anymore," she told him after his surprise appearance. "I don't know who you are anymore." Couretesy of Becca Kufrin/Instagram
Arie Luyendyk Jr.
The former publicist won Luyendyk Jr.’s heart during season 22 of The Bachelor, which began filming in late 2017. One month after proposing to Kufrin, the race car driver broke up with his then-fiancée during the finale, which aired in March 2018, revealing that he still had feelings for his runner-up, Burnham. The televised breakup caused controversy among Bachelor Nation as did Luyendyk Jr.’s proposal to Burnham during the After the Final Rose special. The couple went to marry in 2019 and share three children: daughter Alessi and twins Senna and Lux. Paul Hebert/ABC
Garrett Yrigoyen
Kufrin found love again on season 14 of The Bachelorette, which premiered in May 2018. She got engaged to Yrigoyen during the show’s August finale and the pair moved to San Diego together in January 2019. Yrigoyen’s support for the police amid the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, however, caused tension between the couple. After months of speculation, Kufrin confirmed in September of that year that they called off their two-year engagement.  “I don’t think it’s going to come as a shock to anyone, but Garrett and I have decided to end our engagement,” she tearfully said during an episode of her and Lindsay’s podcast at the time. “After many conversations, we came to this decision. It wasn’t something that we just arrived at one night. It wasn’t based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else’s opinions or comments. There’s much more to it. To any relationship, there’s a lot of layers, and it’s not for me to divulge details. It’s no one’s business other than what I’m telling you right now.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Blake Horstmann
Following her split from Yrigoyen in 2020, Kufrin sparked romance speculation with Horstmann, who was the runner-up on her Bachelorette season. The pair’s close bond caused some fans to think that they were more than just friends. After the Colorado native hinted in August 2021 that he and the B the Label designer were “talking” before she joined season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, Kufrin set the record straight on their relationship. “Blake and I have always been friends. We’ve always been supportive of one another,” she said on an August episode of the “Click Bait” podcast. “In terms of the ‘talking,’ yeah, we’ve been in touch very sporadically, but nothing that I would say would warrant … a potential relationship.” Horstmann reacted to Kufrin’s remarks the following month on his “Behind the Rose” podcast. “Listen, I was hurt by the podcast,” he explained. “Like you said, it’s no secret that we were hanging out prior. I don’t think it was some secret — like, [it] wasn’t at all. More than anything, I was hurt by it.” Shutterstock (2)
Thomas Jacobs
The TV personality started a relationship with Jacobs during season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, which filmed in the summer of 2021. The duo broke up during the show’s October 2021 finale but rekindled their romance after filming ended. “Becca and Thomas started dating again after Paradise,” ABC explained in a title card at the end of the episode. “They are happy and in love.” Kufrin confirmed that she and the season 17 Bachelorette contestant were back together via social media after the finale aired. After the finale aired, Kufrin revealed on the "Talking It Out" podcast that she felt confident about her connection with Jacobs. "I'm gonna probably hate myself for actually admitting this to anyone, but I called my mom — and even though I was engaged twice in the past — I was like, 'Mom, I think I want to marry this guy,'" she said in October 2021. "It's the first time I've ever actually said that out loud." ABC/Craig Sjodin
