A tough sell. Sienna Miller has had many onscreen love interests over the years, but few presented her with as big a challenge as Ben Affleck.

“Ben Affleck was like my brother,” the American Sniper actress, 40, said during the Wednesday, April 13, episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. “I’ve never laughed so much in my life. I mean, that sounds like a ridiculous thing to say and like a name-dropping thing to say, but I actually mean it.”

Because of their sibling-like relationship, however, Miller had difficulty selling her role as his love interest in the 2016 film Live by Night, which Affleck, 49, also directed. “We had zero chemistry whatsoever — it was hysterical,” she explained. “We were supposed to be in love. We could not be less attracted to each other.”

The challenges weren’t only related to their friendly rapport — they also had trouble getting their bodies to mesh well on camera.

“He has an enormous head,” the Layer Cake star joked. “I have a small one, so they’d have to, like, put me slightly ahead of him. … And he directed the movie, and I could barely look at him for laughing the whole time.”

Miller and the Oscar winner didn’t make a love connection on set, but the 21 Bridges star famously connected with Jude Law when they filmed 2004’s Alfie together. The former model and the Closer star, 49, got engaged in December 2004.

The following year, however, Law admitted to having an affair with his children’s nanny. Law and Miller reconciled after his admission, but they split again in 2006. They rekindled their romance a second time in 2009 before calling quits for good in February 2011.

While the Cold Mountain actor is a father of six, Miller, for her part, shares daughter Marlowe, 9, with ex-boyfriend Tom Sturridge, whom she dated from 2011 to 2015.

The American Woman star told Drew Barrymore that she’s not currently single, but she didn’t identify her special someone. Miller added that she doesn’t understand American dating politics, which she sees as being much more complex than British ones.

“If you kiss someone in England, you’re basically together,” she explained on Tuesday. “This whole, ‘I’m dating a few people’ thing — I’m like, ‘God, what is happening?’ How does anybody manage that?”

Everything to Know About Prince Harry's Fight for Security in the U.K.

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 03:25 PM PDT

Fighting for his rights. Prince Harry has spoken openly about the challenges he faced both during his royal tenure and after his exit — and his battle for proper security came to a head in January 2022.

The Duke of Sussex issued a statement regarding his application for judicial review after a Home Office decision previously ruled he would be unable to personally fund police protection for his family while in England. Harry shares son Archie, born in 2019, and daughter Lilibet, born in 2021, with wife Meghan Markle.

“Prince Harry inherited a security risk at birth, for life. He remains sixth in line to the throne, served two tours of combat duty in Afghanistan, and in recent years his family has been subjected to well-documented neo-Nazi and extremist threats,” the January 2022 statement read. “While his role within the Institution has changed, his profile as a member of the royal family has not. Nor has the threat to him and his family.”

Two years prior, Harry and the Suits alum announced their plans to step down from their senior royal roles. The couple later moved to North America, where they began to “personally fund a private security team for their family,” the statement acknowledged.

“That security cannot replicate the necessary police protection needed whilst in the UK,” the BetterUp CIO claimed. “In absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return home.”

The pair’s departure from the British monarchy was made permanent in February 2021. One year earlier, former royal protection officer Simon Morgan predicted that one of the biggest changes of the duo’s step down would be in their security details.

“Ultimately you lose the support network that is in place around both principals at the moment,” Morgan, who worked for the royal family from 2007 to 2013, exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2020. “You have warranted police officers. You have the security services that all dovetail into each other to create that protection package that’s replicated on a local scale with regard to London, then a national scale within the U.K. and then a global scale around global law enforcement and security services throughout the world.”

Long before they tied the knot in May 2018, Queen Elizabeth II‘s grandson and the retired actress were forced to take extra precautions due to their high-profile relationship. In November 2016, Harry issued a public statement through Kensington Palace about the racist and sexist vitriol aimed at his then-girlfriend.

“Since he was young, Prince Harry has been very aware of the warmth that has been extended to him by members of the public. He feels lucky to have so many people supporting him and knows what a fortunate and privileged life he leads,” the message noted. “He is also aware that there is significant curiosity about his private life. He has never been comfortable with this, but he has tried to develop a thick skin … and he has worked hard to develop a professional relationship with the media, focused on his work and the issues he cares about.”

At the time, the Archewell cofounder expressed his concerns for the California native’s safety, adding, “It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game.’ He strongly disagrees. This is not a game — it is her life and his.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 03:23 PM PDT

A royal affair! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship has been on the world's radar ever since news broke in 2016 that they were dating.

The pair were introduced through mutual friends that July. One year after their first encounter, the Suits alum addressed the pair's courtship for the first time.

"We're a couple. We're in love," she gushed to Vanity Fair at the time. "I'm sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us. It's part of what makes it so special, that it's just ours. But we're happy. Personally, I love a great love story."

Harry and Meghan announced their engagement in November 2017. After tying the knot in May 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor, England, the queen gave them the additional title of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The couple welcomed their son, Archie, the same month they celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary. The pair have been able to spend more time with their little one while quarantining amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"We were both there for his first steps, his first run, his first fall, his first everything," Harry said during a conversation on International Day of the Girl in October 2020, while Meghan added, "I think it's just fantastic, because I think in so many ways, we are fortunate to be able to have this time to watch him grow. And in the absence of COVID, we would be traveling and working more externally, and we'd miss a lot of those moments. So I think it's been a lot of really good family time."

Harry and Meghan announced in February 2021 that they are expecting their second child together. The happy news came after the California native suffered a miscarriage in July 2020.

They have remained by each other's side through thick and thin. As the former Tig blogger continued to be targeted British tabloids, Harry spoke out how he has a responsibility to shield her and their son, Archie, from harm's way.

"I will always protect my family, and now I have a family to protect," he said in ITV's Harry & Meghan: An African Journey documentary in October 2019. "I will not be bullied into a game that was responsible for killing my mother [Princess Diana]. So everything that she went through and what happened to her is incredibly important every single day. And that is not me being paranoid, that is just me not wanting a repeat of the past."

Harry and Meghan announced their step back as senior members of the royal family in January 2020 with plans to work to become financially independent. They left the British Army vet's native U.K. for California in March 2020.

More than one year after their shocking exit, Buckingham Palace confirmed in February 2021 that the duo informed Queen Elizabeth II that their decision to step down as working members of the royal family will be permanent. "While we are all saddened by their decision, the duke and duchess remain much-loved members of the family," the monarch's statement read.

Harry and Meghan spent Christmas in Canada with their son, Archie, after confirming that they wouldn’t join the rest of the royal family at the queen’s estate for the holidays.  “The Duke of Sussex has been a frequent visitor to Canada over many years, and it was also home to The Duchess for seven years before she became a member of the Royal Family,” the couple’s spokesperson told Us in December 2019. “They are enjoying sharing the warmth of the Canadian people and the beauty of the landscape with their young son.” The pair’s decision sparked reports that they were planning to move to Canada in 2020. At the time, the palace told the Daily Mail that they wouldn’t comment on “speculation,” but did not shut down the report. Harry’s friend Tom Bradby fueled the speculation during an interview with Good Morning Britain.  “It’s no big secret in their friends that they have been considering their options in the future,” Bradby said. “I don’t ask what their plans are. They keep that pretty close to their chest and understandably so. I don’t think it’s a done deal, that would be my impression. I think there’s a lot of talking to be done, there are a million possibilities, they could go to Canada.” Tim Rooke/Shutterstock

Harry and Meghan announced on their Instagram page in January 2020 that they “intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent.” They vowed to continue working with the queen, Charles, William and other royal relatives. “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution,” they said in a statement. “It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.” Shutterstock

The queen announced in a statement on January 18, 2020, that she and the couple had come to an agreement about their new roles, which will see Harry and Meghan lose their His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness titles and completely step down as working members of the royal family. “Following many months of conversations and more recent discussions, I am pleased that together we have found a constructive and supportive way forward for my grandson and his family,” the monarch said. “Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved members of the family. I recognise the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life.” Harry’s grandmother added that she was “particularly proud of how Meghan has so quickly become one of the family” and hoped that the agreement would allow them “to start building a happy and peaceful new life.” Buckingham Palace stared in a statement that Harry and Meghan have said they wish to repay the Sovereign Grant money that was spent on refurbishing Frogmore Cottage at the queen’s Windsor estate, which will remain their U.K. home. Harper's Bazaar's royal correspondent Omid Scobie reported that Harry’s father, Prince Charles, will continue to finance the couple through his Duchy of Cornwall estate. A Timeline of Meghan Markle’s Ups and Downs With the Royal Family

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 03:20 PM PDT

It's been a rocky road for Meghan Markle and the British royal family since she fell in love with Prince Harry.

The Suits alum started dating the prince during the summer of 2016. While she gushed about Harry to Vanity Fair during her September 2017 cover story, the couple spoke about their relationship — and preparing Meghan for royal life — for the first time during their engagement interview in November 2017.

“I think I can very safely say as naive as it sounds now, having gone through this learning curve in the past year and a half I did not have any understanding of just what it would be like,” Meghan said at the time.

Harry replied, “I had tried to warn you as much as possible. … I think you can have as many conversations as you want, trying to prepare as much as possible but we were totally unprepared for what happened after that.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex wed in May 2018. Despite the alleged tension between the brothers over how quickly Harry and Meghan's relationship moved, the pair teamed up with Prince William and Duchess Kate and the foursome launched a charity together. In June 2019, news broke that the group effort was already done and the two couples were splitting their charities.

"Kensington Palace is painting this as a natural progression," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "But there were definitely issues with Meghan and Kate seeing eye to eye on how they wanted to run this charity."

In October 2019, Harry and Meghan spoke to ITV's Tom Bradby and hinted that they were unhappy. Harry also confirmed reports that there was a rift between him and William.

"I have said for a long time to H, that's what I call [Harry], ‘It’s not enough to just survive something. That's not the point of life. You have to thrive. You have got to feel happy,'" Meghan said during the special, admitting she was "not OK."

She continued: "I really tried to adopt this British sensibility of a ‘stiff upper lip.’ I really tried, but I think that what that does internally is probably really damaging.”

Less than six months later, Harry and Meghan announced their plans to step back from their senior royal duties in January 2020. The pair subsequently relocated, first to Canada and then to Los Angeles. The pair informed Queen Elizabeth in February 2021 that they would not be returning to the U.K. to work for the family.

Scroll through for a complete timeline of the ups and downs, including the drama surrounding Harry and Meghan's March 2021 CBS tell-all interview:

2016
Meghan’s official introduction as Harry’s girlfriend was when the first sign of trouble began as the palace released a statement condemning the “wave of abuse and harassment” the actress received in the press. “Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her. It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm,” the November 2016 statement read. “He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game’. He strongly disagrees. This is not a game — it is her life and his.” The following month, reports surfaced that the palace wasn’t happy Meghan sported an “H” initial necklace during a December 2016 outing as it perpetuated additional headlines about their romance. While sources told Us that things went well when Harry introduced Meghan to William and Kate in January 2017, things took a turn when the eldest brother felt they were moving too fast. Royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claimed in their book, Finding Freedom, that Harry was “pissed off” when William suggested he was “blindsided by lust.” William reportedly told his brother to “take as much time as you need to get to know this girl,” which upset Harry. “Some felt it was an overreaction,” the book read. “But then, this sums them up as people — William, the calm and rational one, and Harry, who can’t help but take things far too personally.” Alan Davidson/Shutterstock

Before Harry and Meghan got engaged, there was reported tension between the couple and the Middleton family over her potential attendance at Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ May 2017 nuptials. In the end, she only went to the reception. Shutterstock

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Duchess Camila and William and Kate all celebrated Harry and Meghan’s engagement in November 2017. Harry and Meghan also confirmed in their engagement interview that she met the queen — and the two women hit it off. “It’s incredible, I think, you know, a) to be able to meet her through his lens, not just with his honor and respect for her as the monarch, but the love that he has for her as his grandmother, all of those layers have been so important for me,” she said at the time. “So that when I met her, I had such a deep understanding and of course incredible respect for being able to have that time with her. … She’s an incredible woman.” Meghan subsequently became the first “fiancée” to have Christmas with the royal family in December 2017. When Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, opted not to attend her May 2018 nuptials after he was caught staging photos with the paparazzi, Prince Charles stepped in to walk her down the aisle.   There were conflicting reports, however, about Meghan and Kate’s relationship at this time, with some outlets claiming the women fought about Princess Charlotte’s outfit for the wedding. According to Meghan, Kate was the one who made her cry during a disagreement about dresses. “That was a turning point. … The narrative with Kate, it didn’t happen,” Meghan said during an interview on CBS in March 2021. “A few days before the wedding she was upset about flower girl dresses and it made me cry. It really hurt my feelings. … She was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologized. And she brought me flowers and a note, apologizing. And she did what I would do if I knew that I hurt someone, right, to just take accountability for it.” There were also reports that the queen didn’t approve of Meghan’s tiara choice. The Finding Freedom authors suggested that Queen Elizabeth’s official dressmaker, Angela Kelly, was the one who had issues with Meghan’s pick — the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau Tiara. Meghan attended her first solo engagement with the queen in June 2018. A source told Us at the time that “enthusiasm toward living a life of service and humanitarianism excites the queen and it’s just the type of vim and vigor she likes to see in someone.” Shutterstock

While the duchesses appeared to be on good terms in July 2018 when they attended Wimbledon together, Meghan hinted in March 2021 that things were tense between the two women. “I know you say, 'Was it what it looked like?’ — my understanding and my experience for the past four years is that it’s nothing like what it looks like,” she said during her CBS tell-all when asked about the Wimbledon outing. October 2018
Harry and Meghan announced they were expecting their first child together in October 2018. Three days before they confirmed the news, the duo attended Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank. The princess was reportedly unhappy with the twosome for discussing the pregnancy at her nuptials. “It didn’t go down particularly well with Eugenie, who a source said told friends she felt the couple should have waited to share the news,” Scobie and Durand wrote. December 2018
In November 2018, Harry and Meghan made headlines for moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. Sources told Us in December 2018 that Meghan struggled with royal rules regarding the press after she made headlines when her personal assistant, Melissa Toubati, and secretary, Samantha Cohen, quit six months after the pair’s nuptials. “It’s just been frustrating and stressful to have no voice,” a royal insider told Us. “She’s always relied on her own voice to stand up for others, and for herself. So not being able to say anything is a debilitating feeling. She’s always been so independent, her entire life, and that’s all been taken away from her. She’s always been able to clap back on social media and now she can’t.” There were also reports at the time that palace staff didn’t “trust” Meghan. While one staffer reportedly said she “comes with a lot of baggage,” another employee was allegedly overheard referring to the Suits alum as “Harry’s showgirl.” Robert Kitchin - Pool/Getty Images)

Meghan revealed in March 2021 that she hit her lowest point when she was five months pregnant with Archie. "One of the things that still haunts me is this photograph that someone had sent me, we had to go to an official event at the Royal Albert Hall," Meghan recalled of the January 2019 event. "A friend said, 'I know that you don't look at pictures, but oh my God, you guys look so great' and sent it to me. I zoomed in and what I saw was the truth of what that moment was. Because right before we had to leave for that, I had just [told Harry that I didn’t want to be alive anymore] that morning.” Meghan went on to claim that she told the family that she wanted to seek treatment but was told that "it wouldn't be good for the institution." As for the event, Meghan noted that she went because she warned Harry that she couldn’t be “left alone.” She explained: “And that picture, if you zoom in, what I see is how tightly his knuckles are gripped around me. You can see the whites of our knuckles because we are smiling and doing our job, but we are both just trying to hold on." Paul Grover/Shutterstock

According to Harry and Meghan, the pair weren’t asked to take the iconic photo outside of the Lindo Wing when Archie was born in 2019. During their CBS sit-down in March 2021, the couple also shut down reports that they opted not to give Archie a royal title, claiming that they were given “no explanation” as to why their son wouldn’t receive a title or the subsequent security that comes with it. Meghan also revealed that there were “concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born … and what that would mean or look like.” Domic Lipinski/PA/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock
October 2019
While sources told Us that Meghan and Kate were “civil,” noting that they would “never be best friends” because they don’t have a lot in common, Harry confirmed he and William had a falling out. During the same interview, Meghan got candid about royal life. “If things were fair … If I’d done something wrong, I’d be the first one to go ‘Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. I would never do that,’” she said on ITV in October 2019. "But when people are saying things that are just untrue and they are being told they’re untrue but they’re allowed to still say them — I don't know anybody in the world who would feel like that’s OK.” Tim Rooke/Shutterstock

Us confirmed in November 2019 that Harry and Meghan were opting not to have Christmas with his family. January 2020
Harry and Meghan announced their plans to stop working for the queen in January 2020. Reports suggested that the queen wasn’t happy with the pair going public with their announcement so quickly. “The website took everyone, even their communications team, by surprise. Aides and family members knew the couple wanted to step back, but the public website, which laid out the details of their new half in-half-out model as if it were a done deal, put the Queen in a difficult position,” Finding Freedom claimed. The couple subsequently went back and forth with the queen over the use of the “Sussex Royal” name as the pair initially tried to trademark their then-charity, Sussex Royal The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. “While there is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘Royal’ overseas, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘Sussex Royal’ or any iteration of the word ‘Royal’ in any territory (either within the UK or otherwise) when the transition occurs Spring 2020,” the couple said in a statement in February 2020. A source told Us at the time that the queen was “so disappointed that her own grandchild would heap so much embarrassment on the monarchy and bring all this unwanted attention on his family at the worst possible time.” Frank Augstein/AP/Shutterstock
March 2020
Sources told Us in March 2020 that William and Kate were blindsided by Harry and Meghan’s announcement, noting that the brothers had only spoken “a couple times” about “business matters” in recent months. During Harry and Meghan’s final engagement as working senior royals in March 2020, William and Kate appeared to snub the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they arrived.   Shutterstock

While Harry and Meghan didn’t travel to the U.K. after March 2020, due in part to the coronavirus pandemic, sources told Us that the couple FaceTimed with the queen, Philip and Charles so they could see Archie. When the couple announced they were expecting baby No. 2 in February 2021, the family — with the exception of William and Kate — sent a public congratulations.   Shutterstock
February 2021
Later that month, things took a turn again when the twosome announced their royal exit was permanent. “Following conversations with the duke, the queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of the royal family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service,” the palace said in a statement in February 2021. “The honorary military appointments and royal patronages held by the duke and duchess will therefore be returned to Her Majesty before being redistributed among working members of the royal family. While we are all saddened by their decision, the duke and duchess remain much-loved members of the family.” The couple subsequently fired back in a statement of their own: “As evidenced by their work over the past year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain committed to their duty and service to the U.K. and around the world and have offered their continued support to the organizations they have represented regardless of official role. We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.” MEGA
March 2021
Leading up to the interview, The Times reported accusations that Meghan mistreated her palace aides and staff prior to the 2020 exit. While Meghan denied the allegations, noting in a statement to Us in March 2021 that she was “saddened” by the “latest attack on her character,” the palace revealed they were investigating the claims. “We are clearly very concerned about allegations in The Times following claims made by former staff of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” the statement read. “Accordingly our HR team will look into the circumstances outlined in the article. Members of staff involved at the time, including those who have left the Household, will be invited to participate to see if lessons can be learned The Royal Household has had a Dignity at Work policy in place for a number of years and does not and will not tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace.” According to an insider, the twosome’s inner circle believes that Buckingham Palace’s statement was a direct response to the upcoming interview. “The assumption from friends close to Meghan and Harry is that the palace has released this statement to strike back at Harry and Meghan for doing the [tell-all] interview,” the source said. “The palace knows that they will not be cast in the best light by Harry and Meghan on Sunday and doesn’t want Harry and Meghan coming off as victims.” Tim Rooke/Shutterstock
March 2021
Harry and Meghan filmed a sit-down interview with CBS for March 2021. “I don’t know how they could expect that after all of this time we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us,” Meghan said during a sneak peek of the special. “And if that comes with risk of losing things, there is a lot that has been lost already.” Sources told Us that William and Kate were “appalled” by their decision to do the interview, especially as Philip remained in the hospital amid his ongoing heart condition.   YouTube
March 2021
During their CBS tell-all in March 2021, Harry and Meghan gave an update on their status with his family, noting that she checked in during Philip’s health scare. "This morning, I woke up earlier than H., and saw a note from someone on our team in the U.K. saying that the Duke of Edinburgh had gone to the hospital," Meghan said during the special. "I just picked up the phone and I called the Queen just to check in. I just called, that’s what we do."  Meghan added: ”So, there's the family, and then there's the people that are running the institution. Those are two separate things. It's important to be able to compartmentalize that because the queen, for example, has always been wonderful to me." CBS; Shutterstock

One year after their royal exit, Meghan and Harry welcomed their second child, naming their daughter Lilibet in honor of the queen. “Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet,” they said in a statement on their website.   A source told Us at the time that Lilibet was the couple’s “favorite” name option, but it “was important for them that the queen signed off” on the moniker. “They both agreed it would only be right if Her Majesty gave her approval, especially with something so personal,” the insider added. Prince Harry's Ups and Downs With the Royal Family Over the Years

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 03:17 PM PDT

Not all tea and sympathy. Prince Harry has always been one of the most jovial members of the British royal family, but he hasn’t always gotten along with his own relatives.

The Invictus Games founder is the youngest son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. As children, he and his older brother, Prince William, seemed inseparable, but as they got older, cracks began to form in their relationship.

"There's always been a part of Harry that felt like he was living in his brother's shadow," an insider told Us Weekly in November 2019. "He doesn't envy the responsibility that comes with being the future king of England, but William's the 'golden boy' and Harry feels like he has a lot to live up to."

The rift between the brothers grew wider in March 2021 when Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, opened about their decision to step back from their royal duties in a tell-all interview with CBS. During the TV special, the Sussexes accused unnamed members of the royal family of racist behavior. In particular, they alleged that one person had asked questions about their son Archie‘s skin tone ahead of his May 2019 birth. (They welcomed their second child, daughter Lilibet, in June 2021.)

Days after the interview, the Duke of Cambridge responded to the accusations by saying, "We’re very much not a racist family."

One month later, the brothers reunited at the funeral for their grandfather Prince Philip, who died in April 2021 at age 99. Though they were photographed walking together after the ceremony, a source later told Us that the duo still had work to do to mend their relationship.

"Harry did speak to William while he was in the U.K., so in that respect, they made some progress," the insider said at the time. "But they definitely haven't reached the stage where all is forgiven, nor have they buried the hatchet."

Harry’s dynamic with his father has also been strained since he and Meghan decided to step down as full-time working royals in January 2020. When the former military pilot visited the U.K. for Philip’s funeral, he and Charles didn’t manage to fully move past the tension caused by the CBS tell-all.

“They barely communicated," a source told Us in April 2021. "There definitely continues to be a huge wedge between the two."

Keep scrolling for a look back at Harry’s ups and downs with the royal family over the years:

The Courtship
Some of the tension between William and Harry dates back to 2016 when the Archewell cofounder started dating Meghan. According to royal reporter Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand's book Finding Freedom, William encouraged his brother to take it slow with the Suits alum, but Harry didn't appreciate the advice. “Harry was pissed off … that his brother would ask such a thing," the authors wrote.  AP/Shutterstock
Marrying Meghan
When Harry and Meghan tied the knot in May 2018, William served as his brother's best man. "The Duke of Cambridge is honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother," Kensington Palace said in a statement at the time.  David Fisher/Shutterstock
Fighting Back
After a British newspaper published a letter Meghan sent her father, Thomas Markle, Harry issued an unprecedented statement calling out the "British tabloid press" for "false and malicious" reporting about his wife. "Put simply, it is bullying, which scares and silences people," he said in October 2019. "We all know this isn’t acceptable, at any level. We won’t and can’t believe in a world where there is no accountability for this."  That same month, Harry admitted that he and his brother were on "different paths" during an ITV documentary. “William is extremely concerned about Harry and Meghan,” an insider told Us at the time. “Even though the brothers have grown apart, William still cares about Harry and is hoping that he’ll open up to him about his current struggles. William wants to be there for Harry and hates seeing him in such a bad place. Despite their differences, blood is thicker than water.” Victoria Jones/AP/Shutterstock
Stepping Down
In January 2020, the Sussexes shocked the world — and Harry's family — by announcing that they planned to step down from their roles as full-time working royals. Charles was "livid" over the decision, an insider told Us at the time, adding that the Prince of Wales felt like Meghan was to blame for the situation.  Tim Rooke/Shutterstock
The Tell-All Interview
Things between Harry and his relatives hit a boiling point in March 2021 when he and Meghan sat down for their tell-all interview, which aired on CBS. Among many shocking revelations, the one that stood out the most was the Bench author's allegation that a member of the royal family had asked pointed questions about the color of Archie's skin before his birth.  Later in the year, a book alleged that Charles was the person who made the skin color comments, but the prince denied the claims, telling Us in a statement, "This is fiction and not worth further comment.” According to Scobie, the heir to the throne reportedly consulted lawyers as well.  Joe Pugliese/Harpo Productions/CBS
Prince Philip’s Funeral
Tensions between Harry and William appeared to ease in April 2021 when the pair briefly reunited for their grandfather's funeral. Two months later, however, royal expert Robert Lacey claimed that the duo "started quarreling" within "minutes" of getting behind closed doors. "The rage and anger between those two has grown so incredibly deep," the Crown consultant wrote in an op-ed for the Daily Mail. "Too many harsh and wounding things have been said." Arthur Edwards/WPA Pool/Shutterstock
Reuniting With William
The brothers reunited again in July 2021 to unveil a statue in honor of their late mother. “They didn’t mend the bond at the funeral,” an insider told Us ahead of the ceremony, adding that the twosome planned to "make up" at the event. “But since the baby, they want to move forward. Both brothers are ready to move past the rift and have a good relationship again,” the source added. Shutterstock
The Book
Later in July 2021, Harry once again threw his family for a loop when he announced he was writing a memoir to be published in 2022. "I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” the Me You Can't See producer said in a statement at the time. “I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think."  His family, however, was less than thrilled about the news. "The royal family is shaken up about the book,” a source told Us at the time, adding that Charles and William were “particularly concerned about what Harry will reveal.”  Shutterstock
Trying Again
In December 2021, an insider told Us that Charles and his youngest son were again trying to patch things up, but there was still a lot of work to be done. “Charles and Harry are in communication,” the insider explained, noting that the pair were "not speaking very much” after the tell-all interview. “There [are] still a lot of issues the two of them need to work out and move forward.” Tim Rooke/Shutterstock
Charles Is ‘Proud’
Shortly after an insider told Us that Charles and Harry were "in communication" with one another, the Prince of Wales made a rare supportive comment about his son's efforts to combat global warming. "As a father, I am proud that my sons have recognized this threat," Charles wrote in a January 2022 issue of Newsweek. "Most recently, my elder son, William, launched the prestigious Earthshot Prize to incentivize change and help repair our planet over the next 10 years. ... And my younger son, Harry, has passionately highlighted the impact of climate change, especially in relation to Africa, and committed his charity to being net zero." Shutterstock (3)
The Surprise Visit
While on their way to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games in April 2022, Harry and Meghan made a stop in England to visit the queen. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.'s Sweetest Moments: Pics

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 02:55 PM PDT

From a horror flick meet-cute to a married couple with two children — Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar have come a long way since their onscreen introduction.

The She's All That actor and Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum met on the set of 1997's I Know What You Did Last Summer and instantly connected.

"We just would talk about life and stuff like that, and we had completely different philosophies on just about everything," Prinze told Us Weekly exclusively in February 2020.

The friendship also began over the Los Angeles native's desire to cook for Gellar, who he thought "was too skinny" at the time.

"So, we started this weekly barbecue thing at her house, and me and my cousins would come over and cook food for her and her friends," he recalled. "And then we'd make sure everybody ate, and that was kind of how our friendship began."

The costars friendship became romantic after a fumbled dinner date in January 2000.

“We were supposed to have dinner with a friend of ours, and she didn’t make her plane, so we went anyway,” the Long Island, New York, native told Us in February 2020. “We’d had tons of dinners before and for some reason, it felt different that night. Organically, it just transitioned into something else.”

Two years later, the pair tied the knot in September 2002 in an intimate ceremony in Mexico. The same year, the lovebirds reunited onscreen to play Fred and Daphne in Scooby-Doo, roles they later reprised for the 2004 sequel.

The '90s sweethearts welcomed two children, daughter Charlotte and son Rocky, in 2009 and 2012, respectively.

Throughout their relationship, the pair has grown closer and although they keep their family life private, the actors have occasionally given fans a peek at their home life and shared how they've managed to stay together for so long.

"Communicate. That's the key. It's about being present," the Crazy Ones alum told Us in January 2019. "Listening is the most important thing."

The Summer Catch actor told Us that being light with one another is also important. "We still make each other laugh. And we treat each other with respect," he said.

Road Trip Romance
The Los Angeles native told Us exclusively in February 2020 that his romance with his future wife all began on the set of 1997’s I Know What You Did Last Summer. Prinze Jr. recalled that Gellar didn’t have her driver’s license when they were filming the horror film in North Carolina, so he started to drive her “and that’s when we became friends.” “We just would talk about life and stuff like that, and we had completely different philosophies on just about everything,” he told Us about the couple’s initial friendship. “‘Cause she was a born and raised New Yorker and I was a born and raised L.A. kid, and we just looked at everything like night and day.” The duo also bonded over food. Prinze Jr. “thought she was too skinny” and “wanted to cook for her, because that’s what my family does,” the actor added. “So, we started this weekly barbecue thing at her house, and me and my cousins would come over and cook food for her and her friends. And then we’d make sure everybody ate, and that was kind of how our friendship began.” Mandalay Ent/Kobal/Shutterstock(2)
Secret to Success
Prinze Jr. revealed the secret to his healthy marriage with Gellar in an interview with Us in February 2020. “There’s no keys. There’s no rules. There’s nothing like that. I don’t believe in false expectations,” the GEGG WARS: Galaxy of Crime actor said. “I just believe in knowing who you are when you start a relationship. And if you don’t, then that relationship probably isn’t going to work.” Shutterstock
Back to the Start
Gellar recalled her accidental first date with Prinze Jr. via Instagram in January 2020. "20 years ago this week, my friend @realfreddieprinze and I were supposed to have dinner with a mutual friend from out of town," she penned. "That friend missed her flight, but we decided to still meet and catch up. Now 20 years together, 17 plus married and two kids, we still go to that restaurant for dinner. Gellar told Us on September 24, 2019, that her relationship with Prinze. Jr. isn't always easy. “It takes work to have a good friendship," she said at the time. "You have to call and check in and dedicate that time, and most people aren’t willing to put that work in. Where Do Harry and Meghan Stand With the Rest of the Royal Family?

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 02:40 PM PDT

Every family has a little bit of drama — even royal ones. Following their shocking step away from their senior royal duties in March 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have distanced themselves from their relatives across the pond.

When the couple, who exchanged vows in May 2018, announced their plans to take a break from their senior roles in January 2020, the news came as a big shock to those closest to them. "[Prince] William was blindsided by Harry and Meghan's decision and statement," a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. "William is incredibly hurt, but at the same time he has his own family to focus on and is trying to move forward with his life."

Before he and Meghan settled down in California with their son, Archie, the Duke of Sussex attended a series of meetings with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and had a "heart-to-heart" about the situation. Despite his decision to leave his position within the palace, Harry "adores" the monarch, a source said at the time.

"The last thing Elizabeth wants is for Harry to feel estranged from his family and she made her feelings clear about this in the meeting," the royal insider noted.

Nearly one year after their initial step away, Buckingham Palace confirmed in February 2021 that Harry and the Suits alum were not going to return as working royals. One month later, they aired their grievances during a no-holds-barred interview with CBS, claiming that they felt "a lack of support and lack of understanding" from The Firm.

Harry asserted that he didn't "blindside" his grandmother with the decision, noting, "I have too much respect for her." His relationship with his father, Prince Charles, is a little murkier.

"It was like, 'I need to do this for my family.' This is not a surprise to anybody. It's really sad that it's gotten to this point, but I've got to do something for my own mental health, my wife's, and for Archie's, as well, because I could see where this was headed," Harry explained, adding that the Prince of Wales had "stopped taking" his calls.

More shocking revelations followed, including the allegation that a family member had made comments about the color of Archie's skin before his May 2019 arrival. (The couple are also the parents of daughter Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.) Though he refused to name the relative at the time, Harry confirmed that neither the queen nor her late husband, Prince Philip, were involved in the conversations.

Many of the prince's extended family members have kept relatively quiet about the drama, but both Charles and William have been hurt by Harry's words. The monarch has tried to mediate the situation, seemingly to no avail.

"With the way things are going, Charles may never forgive Harry, which hasn't gone down well with Elizabeth," a source told Us in May 2021. "She feels that he's putting his pride before the best interest of the monarchy. … It's drama she can do without."

Scroll down to see where Harry and Meghan stand with the rest of the royal family:

Queen Elizabeth II
The monarch was “unimpressed” with Harry’s controversial comments about growing up within the royal family, according to a source, but she still has “a soft spot” for her grandson. Harry was also close with late Philip, who died in April 2021. “He was my grandpa: master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right ‘til the end,” the duke wrote in a tribute following his death. Meghan, for her part, spoke highly of the queen during the pair’s CBS interview in March 2021. “The queen has always been wonderful to me,” she said, reflecting on learning to curtsey ahead of their first interaction. When they welcomed their daughter, Lili, in June 2021, Elizabeth was “overjoyed,” a source told Us. With the couple in California full-time, they’ve done their best to stay in touch with Harry’s relatives. Before Philip’s death, he had a funny way of ending their Zoom calls. “My grandfather, instead of, like, pressing ‘leave meeting,’ he [slams the laptop closed],” Harry teased in a February interview.  In April 2022, Harry and Meghan stopped in England to visit the queen while on their way to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands. The prince had not been to the U.K. since he and William unveiled the statue of their mother in July 2021, while Meghan had not returned since the duo made their royal exit official in March 2020.   Shutterstock
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla
As he continues to speak out about his experience behind palace walls, Harry has taken aim at his father’s parenting, committing to follow a different path with his two kids. “I’m gonna make sure I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on,” Harry said on the “Armchair Expert” podcast in May 2021. At the time, a source told Us Charles was “boiling with anger” and felt “tortured by Harry with his constant digs.” A separate insider previously revealed that the future king plans on “freezing Harry out” when it’s his turn to run “a new slimmed-down monarchy.” Camilla, for her part, has remained tight-lipped about the drama. The pair sent well-wishes to Harry and Meghan when Lili arrived in June 2021. Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock
Prince William and Duchess Kate
Things between the brothers were rocky long before Harry and Meghan decided to step back from their senior duties — and their exit only caused more tension. “The relationship is 'space' at the moment,” Harry said of William in March 2021, later claiming his brother is “trapped” in the monarchy. “I love William to bits. We’ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.” Meghan and Kate have similarly gone through their ups and downs since the Sussexes’ May 2018 wedding. Three years later, the California native addressed rumors she made Kate cry before the big day, declaring that “the reverse happened.” However, Meghan added, “She was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologized.” Behind the scenes, Kate has been trying to get Harry and William to see eye to eye. When the trio reunited at Philip’s April 2021 funeral, the duchess acted as the “peacemaker,” royal expert Katie Nicholl said. William and Harry were cordial when they reunited at the July 2021 unveiling of a statue honoring their late mother, Princess Diana. Princess Anne
In April 2020, one month after the pair’s step away from senior duties became official, the queen’s daughter shared some words of wisdom for the “younger generation” of royals. “I don’t think the younger generation probably understands what I was doing in the past and it’s often true, isn’t it? You don’t necessarily look at the previous generation and say, ‘Oh, you did that?’ or ‘You went there?’” she told Vanity Fair at the time. “Nowadays, they’re much more looking for, ‘Oh let’s do it a new way.’ And I’m already at the stage [of], ‘Please do not reinvent that particular wheel. We’ve been there, done that.’ Some of these things don’t work. You may need to go back to basics.” One year later, Anne was bumped up on the royal family’s website, seemingly taking Harry and Meghan’s place. JULIEN WARNAND/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

Harry and Meghan have seemingly remained friendly with Anne’s daughter and her husband, who tied the knot in 2011. In August 2020, Mike told Good Morning Britain that he hoped his cousin-in-law could “be happy” with life in California. “You know, he’s stressed that it’s all about his family, so you’ve got to support him through that,” the former rugby player said of “Megxit.” Shutterstock
Prince Andrew
The Duke of York found himself embroiled in a controversy of his own, stepping away from royal duties in November 2019 amid suspicion about his connections to the late Jeffrey Epstein. Sarah Ferguson
Andrew’s ex-wife has stayed on good terms with Harry and Meghan, who invited the author to their 2018 nuptials after she was snubbed from the Cambridges’ ceremony. When Meghan announced her first children’s book, The Bench, the Duchess of York came to her defense amid plagiarism claims. “To sit down and work hard to write a book, in any genre, should be supported and respected,” Ferguson told the Daily Mail in May 2021. “To encourage literacy in general, not just children’s books, is a love of mine and to encourage more women to delve into their creative selves and get a book out is very well done.” Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock
Princess Beatrice
Harry and Meghan were unable to attend Beatrice’s 2020 wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the couple “did call Beatrice beforehand to wish her good luck,” a source told Us. Some royal family fanatics suspected there might be tension brewing between the cousins when Beatrice announced her first pregnancy in May 2021, the same day Harry and Meghan marked their third wedding anniversary. Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock
Princess Eugenie
When Harry returned to England for Philip’s funeral in April 2021, he crashed at Frogmore Cottage, his and Meghan’s former residence, which was lent to Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank. At the time, a source told Us Harry was introduced to Eugenie’s son, August. With their pregnancies overlapping in early 2021, a separate insider noted that Meghan and Andrew’s youngest daughter had bonded over motherhood. “They are sort of an unlikely pair, but remain in contact,” the source said, adding that the women have “stayed friends and remain friends.” Eugenie later visited Harry in California in February 2022, and the cousins attended the Super Bowl together.   Shutterstock
Prince Edward and Sophie
While speaking with The Telegraph in June 2021, the queen’s youngest son and his wife brushed off a question about Harry and Meghan’s string of strong statements against the royal family. “What interview?” they teased. Edward subsequently told CNN in June 2021 that the tension between the Sussexes and the royal family was “very sad,” adding: “We wish them the very best of luck. It’s a really hard decision.”  Tim Rooke/Shutterstock

Onscreen Love to Real Deal! Melissa Benoist, Chris Wood's Romance Timeline

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 02:35 PM PDT

Praise Rao for onset romance! Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood fell in love after costarring on Supergirl, and thankfully, their relationship had a happier ending than their onscreen alter-egos'.

The actor joined the CW series in season 2 as Mon-El, a love interest for the leading lady's Kara Danvers (a.k.a. the titular superhero). As their characters' romance blossomed on the show, so too did a spark develop between the portrayers.

The duo were first linked in March 2017 after they were spotted at Los Angeles International Airport together. A week later, the twosome confirmed their relationship by showing PDA at the beach in Mexico.

Things turned serious in February 2019 when Benoist and Wood announced their engagement. In six months' time, the couple walked down the aisle, making their union official.

They waited until November 2019 to share photos from their wedding. "I'm always going to remember looking at you every five minutes on this day knowing both of us were thinking 'how in the world did we get so lucky?'" Benoist gushed via Instagram at the time. "I still don't understand how, but you prove to me every day that I'm one of the damn luckiest out there."

The Glee alum briefly opened up about the nuptials during a November 2019 appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden. "It's great," she said of married life. "We had a really, really nice day. It was very special."

She added that she didn't remember the highlight of the day, noting: "They don't lie when they tell you it goes like [snaps fingers] that."

In March 2020, the Vampire Diaries alum and the Whiplash star surprised fans with news that they were expecting their first child. "A non-canine child is coming to our family very soon!!!" she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her holding up a baby shirt and Wood cradling one of their dogs. "@christophrwood has always been an old dad by nature but now he's going to be a real one!"

Benoist and Wood announced the arrival of son Huxley in September 2020.

The pair, who reunited onscreen during the 2021 series finale of Supergirl, have continued gushing over their real-life partnership through the years.

"Whew, boy this is big love. This love wholly accepts me and encourages me to unapologetically be myself, and to unapologetically love myself — whoever that self is day after day," Benoist wrote via Instagram in April 2021 alongside a snap of Wood kissing her cheek. "This love challenges me to be a better person and recognize that even when things aren't easy or pretty, they should always be respectful. This love is the one I was always looking for, and I never should have accepted less."

A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex, 37, and the Duchess of Sussex, 40, confirmed on Thursday, April 14, that the twosome arrived in England ahead of their joint appearance at the Invictus Games in the Netherlands later in the week, according to royal reporter Omid Scobie. The twosome reportedly dropped by Windsor Castle to spend time with Harry's 95-year-old grandmother.

The pair's visit marks the first time that the Suits alum has flown across the pond since she and her husband relocated to Montecito, California, after their royal exit in 2020. The military veteran, for his part, previously returned to his native country to attend his grandfather Prince Philip's funeral in April 2021 and to unveil a statue of his late mother, Princess Diana, on the grounds of Kensington Palace in July 2021. Meghan — with whom Harry shares son Archie, 2, and daughter Lilibet, 9 months — did not accompany him on the trips.

Last month, members of the royal family gathered to honor the late Duke of Edinburgh at a Service of Thanksgiving memorial nearly one year after his death at age 99. Harry, for his part, did not attend amid his ongoing security case. He previously applied for judicial review of a Home Office decision, claiming he was unable to personally fund police protection for his family while abroad.

"Prince Harry inherited a security risk at birth, for life. He remains sixth in line to the throne, served two tours of combat duty in Afghanistan, and in recent years his family has been subjected to well-documented neo-Nazi and extremist threats," his legal spokesperson said in a January statement. "While his role within the Institution has changed, his profile as a member of the royal family has not. Nor has the threat to him and his family."

The Archewell cofounders — who wed in May 2018 — announced in January 2020 that they were stepping down as senior members of the British royal family.

"Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family," the monarch said in a statement at the time. "My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan's desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family."

Buckingham Palace confirmed in February 2021 that the couple's departure would be made permanent.

“I don’t feel like our marriage has been long, but I feel like I’ve loved Eric my whole life,” the Open Book author, 41, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, April 13, while promoting her partnership with Flonase. “I guess in the moment I met him, it felt like a marriage.”

The Texas native and the former NFL player, 42, wed in July 2014 after four years of dating. The duo share daughters Maxwell, 9, and Birdie, 3, and son Ace, 8.

Simpson recalled being blown away by a letter that Johnson wrote her very early in their relationship. He gave it to her while they were on vacation celebrating her 30th birthday in July 2010, at which point she’d only known him a month or two.

“He wrote a letter about what love means to him and, like, the ideal relationship,” she told Us. “And that was when I turned 30! So, that was a long time ago. Eric and I set intentions, and we’re very good at manifesting our dreams. We’re very good at creating a safe environment for each other to be ourselves.”

“We rarely fight,” the Dukes of Hazzard actress explained to Us. “If we do, it’s more conversational, and it’s not like, ‘He’s right or she’s right.’ It’s not about winning.”

Simpson noted that her three kids “respect” her date nights with Johnson, but she still has to deal with the same problems that non-famous moms due — and in the spring, that means allergies.

“My kids suffer from allergies big time, so partnering with Flonase was so easy,” she explained, adding that the nasal spray was super helpful during the California wildfires. “What’s awesome about Flonase is that they made it for children, and that way they can play outside and be happy — and they’re not just on video games all day long.”

The “Irresistible” singer also struggles with her allergies herself, though she noted that they didn’t start to bother her until her first pregnancy.

“I was on tour, like, constantly touring, always on the road,” she recalled. “Once I settled in to live a normal life, then the allergies hit. It’s definitely one of those invisible monsters that we all have to tackle every day.”

The former police officer also added a reminder that when it comes to social media, all is not what it seems.

"Reminder: Social Media is not reality," the Austin native warned. "Some of the best moments are never captured by cameras and are not posted in any social media platforms. They are kept in private and are cherished together with those involved."

Joshua and Christina first met back in the late 2010s, before making their romance public via an Instagram post in July 2021.

"I may be a bit crazy and I'm definitely not perfect, but I will never live my life based on other people’s judgments or opinions. We pride ourselves on never judging others and always wanting others to be happy and we wish others would have the same respect. Josh doesn't have social media, but I want to thank him for whisking me away on a romantic tropical vacation he planned entirely on his own. ❤✈."

Kaley Cuoco’s Dating History: Johnny Galecki, Karl Cook and More

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 01:25 PM PDT

Looking for The One. From her costar romance with Johnny Galecki to her marriages to Ryan Sweeting and Karl Cook, Kaley Cuoco's love life has been making headlines for years.

The actress walked down the aisle for the first time in 2013, when she wed Sweeting. After 21 months of marriage, however, Cuoco announced their split in 2015.

"I honestly thought I wouldn't get married again. My ex ruined that word for me," she candidly told Cosmopolitan in 2018. "I married someone the first time who completely changed. The person I ended up with was not the person I originally met. And that wasn't my fault — that was his."

Following her whirlwind marriage and divorce (and a brief romance with Henry Cavill), the Big Bang Theory star started seeing Cook, a fellow horse lover and equestrian.

"I couldn't be happier. I feel very, very lucky that I found someone like him," the 8 Simple Rules alum gushed exclusively to Us Weekly in 2017. "I like to torture him and he doesn't get mad at me. He just let's me do it! I'm just constantly trying to rib him. He's got such a great sense of humor. I like it when I'm bugging him, bugging him and then I finally get that laugh which just kills me. He's just … I don't know.”

She added: “He's a real person and I think the big deal was knowing how much he loves dogs and horses — that's always on my checklist. 'Must love dogs' is number one and he checked that off quite quickly and I fell very hard."

Cuoco revealed at the time that the duo bonded in the kitchen. "We really like cooking. I love to cook. My boyfriends cooks too and he's an amazing, amazing cook, so we love to go to the grocery store," she told Us. "I'm one of those weirdos that actually likes to buy my own ingredients. I like to go to the store, I like to pick it out, so I think cooking is probably one of my favorites."

After he popped the question in December 2017, Cuoco and Cook exchanged vows in June 2018. While they were man and wife, the pair revealed they didn't live together as of 2019.

"We are building our dream house. We are eventually going to be under the same roof forever," she told E! News at the time. "We have a very unconventional marriage, you know, we have different locations that we are at a lot. We are not together every single day, and I think personally, it's important. It works well for us."

The following year, the coronavirus pandemic "forced" the twosome to move in together, Cuoco told Jimmy Kimmel in 2020. "It's been great for our relationship. We like each other, we've realized, which is even better," she said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at the time.

Three years into their marriage, however, the couple called it quits.

"Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions," the Flight Attendant star and Cook said in a joint statement in September 2021. "We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary."

Figuring It Out! Kaley Cuoco's Best Quotes About Love, Heartbreak, Divorce

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 12:52 PM PDT

Doing it her way! Kaley Cuoco isn't letting her past romances affect how she approaches love — but she has learned a few lessons from her two failed marriages.

"I'm not someone that wants to be by myself," Cuoco confessed in her April 2022 Glamour cover story interview. "I just need to figure out my priorities a little bit and make sure now I know that I need to water that relationship. … I want to change, I want to be better."

The Big Bang Theory alum has had many high-profile relationships since breaking into Hollywood in the early '90s, including dating her former costar Johnny Galecki from 2007 to 2009.

Following her split from the Roseanne alum, Cuoco was briefly engaged to Josh Resnik in 2011. After the couple called it quits, the 8 Simple Rules alum found love with Ryan Sweeting.

Cuoco surprised fans when she and Sweeting tied the knot on New Year's Eve in December 2013 just three months after they got engaged. The pair's marriage was short-lived with the twosome calling it quits in September 2015.

Six months later, Cuoco was again in love, this time with equestrian Karl Cook. Despite thinking she would never walk down the aisle again after her first divorce, the Flight Attendant star wed Cook in June 2018.

"I knew how much I had to give and how much I wanted to receive," Cuoco told Cosmopolitan in April 2018. "I knew I just had to be patient, I had to go through a lot of things, but it brought me to Karl."

The Brandy & Mr. Whiskers alum, however, split from Cook in September 2021. Through all her ups and downs in relationships, Cuoco has decided to focus on the positives.

"She's really happy where she is in life," a source exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2021, noting, "Dating doesn't seem to be her focus right now."

The Alley Cats Strike star is cherishing her time with friends and family after going through two public divorces since 2015.

"I spend a lot of time with my dogs and my friends," Cuoco told Extra in April 2022. "I'm really enjoying my friends right now — [it is a] special time."

Scroll down for Cuoco's best quotes about love, romance and breakups:

Top of Her Checklist
The Charmed alum gushed over then-boyfriend Cook to Us in September 2017, revealing why she fell for him. “He’s a real person and I think the big deal was knowing how much he loves dogs and horses — that’s always on my checklist,” she exclusively told Us. “‘Must love dogs’ is number one and he checked that off quite quickly and I fell very hard.” Broadimage/Shutterstock
Major Turnoff
Cuoco revealed during an April 2018 episode of Vogue’s “Sad Hot Girls” video series that she once dumped a “famous” boyfriend for being a bad tipper. In the story, the Hop star referred to the mystery man as “John” to not publicly call him out for his bad behavior. “Everyone that met him loved him, too, and we looked cute together,” Cuoco recalled. She noted that after a “great dinner,” her then-boyfriend took out his phone to use the calculator function to determine what to tip. “I start to get a little bit hot, because I think I’m realizing what’s happening. He’s multiplying like an eight percent tip. Oh, my God, he’s cheap. He’s cheap. He’s a bad tipper.” The Monster Allergy alum explained that the same thing kept happening when they’d go out, leading her to go back to a restaurant one time and tip a server separately because she felt so “horrified” by the man’s cheapness. ‘Marriage’ Was Tainted
“I honestly thought I wouldn’t get married again. My ex ruined that word for me,” the Last Ride actress told Cosmopolitan in its May 2018 issue speaking about Sweeting. “I married someone the first time who completely changed. The person I ended up with was not the person I originally met. And that wasn’t my fault — that was his.” Broadimage/Shutterstock
Working With an Ex
“We weren’t weird, which is what was weird,” Cuoco told Haute Living Los Angeles in May 2019 of her post-split dynamic with Big Bang Theory costar Galecki. “It was a mutual breakup, and you can rarely say that. Johnny and I were friends first, then obviously we dated.” The duo, who split in 2009 after two years together, continued to play love interests Penny and Leonard, on the CBS comedy until 2019, didn’t let their romantic past dictate their friendship. “When we broke up, it was funny because that was when our relationship on the show was hot and heavy. There were a lot of bed scenes,” she explained. “We were a little like, ‘We were trying to end the relationship and it kept falling back in.’ We got over it really fast, and we’re closer than ever now. It could have gone either way, and I was really proud of us.” Michael Yarish/CBS
Living Solo
“Even when Karl and I met, and I knew I was totally in love with him and we wanted to get married, we both really like our own lives and we actually like our own couches,” Cuoco confessed on a November 2019 episode of the “Brad Behavior” podcast. “He travels all over and he’s got a ranch and horses, and he also loves his alone time. We’re very similar like that, but we share the same passion, which are the animals, and he lets me be me.” The Harley Quinn alum and the equestrian eventually moved into their joint home in early 2020, nearly two years after tying the knot. No Instant Connection
Finding The One takes time, according to Cuoco, who exclusively told Us in March 2020 that things didn’t click right away between her and now ex-husband Cook. “I don’t think it was love at first sight for us,” she said at the time. “We had met and it was like a weird meeting. It kind of happened later.” Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock
Six-Second Marriage
The Burning Bodhi actress recalled her whirlwind romance with Sweeting, which ended in 2015 after 21 months of marriage, noting it felt like a blimp in time. “Oh, my God, I don’t remember my life before this show! And I went through a divorce on the show,” Cuoco told Variety in February 2021, referencing her time on The Big Bang Theory and marriage to the former tennis pro. She then joked that she and Sweeting “got married in, like, six seconds.” Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock
It's OK to Not Be OK
The Wedding Ringer star got real in November 2021 about being alone on her first birthday following her split from Cook. “Sometimes it’s OK to not feel totally OK. Even on ur bday,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. The California native noted that while she was now single, she had a lot of people to be thankful for while celebrating her big day. “I have the greatest fam and friends there ever was,” she continued. Cuoco then turned to her beloved animals for support amid the split. “A quick stop by the barn for some magical pony kisses always helps,” she added. Rob Latour/Shutterstock
No More Marriage
“I will never get married again. I would love to have a long-lasting relationship or a partnership. But I will never get married again,” Cuoco vowed during an April 2022 interview with Glamour. “Absolutely not. You can literally put that on the cover.” Rob Latour/Shutterstock

Scott Reflects on Losing 'Best Friend' Kourtney Amid Her Romance With Travis

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 12:04 PM PDT

It's safe to say Scott Disick doesn't exactly ship Kravis. Kourtney Kardashian's ex is making headlines for allegedly throwing shade at her romance with Travis Barker.

The eldest sibling of the Kardashian-Jenner family dated Disick on and off for a decade until they called it quits during the summer of 2015. The pair share three kids: Mason (born in 2009), Penelope (2012) and Reign (2014). While they went on to date other people, it was a common theme on Keeping Up With the Kardashians that her family hoped the Poosh founder and the Talentless designer would find their way back to each other. However, during the June 2021 KUWTK reunion episode, she revealed that they hadn't been intimate since their split.

"People cannot believe that, but we have not," Kardashian told Andy Cohen. "For real."

Disick added, “How annoying.”

The mother of three went on to explain why she ended their relationship: "The infidelity, I only knew about it at the end, so I think the substance abuse was the dealbreaker."

Disick replied at the time: "I don't want to make any excuses for my behavior. I definitely wouldn't have done these things sober, but it was all wrong. I just thought it was normal, to be honest."

After KUWTK wrapped in early 2021, Kardashian went public with her relationship with Barker, whom she secretly started seeing in late 2020. Disick, for his part, had been linked to Amelia Gray Hamlin since October 2020 after ending his three-year relationship with Sofia Richie.

A source previously told Us Weekly that "things haven't been the same" for Disick and the famous family "since KUWTK stopped filming and Kourtney and Travis began dating."

Another insider revealed that the couple's hot and heavy romance shows no signs of slowing down.

"Their relationship has gotten more serious over the past two months," the source said in April 2021. "They love each other very much and their chemistry is off the charts."

Per a third source, Kardashian is "really happy with Travis and she's gotten a lot of approval on him as well. He gets her and they have fun."

But does she have Disick's approval? Scroll through for everything we know about his feelings regarding Kardashian's romance with Barker:

Still Has the Upper Hand?
A source told Us in February 2021 that Disick is “OK” with the romance — because he “believes he still has the upper hand being the kids’ father.” The insider added at the time that Disick and Kardashian have “an incredibly special bond that no one can ever come between” with “history … and love for each other can’t be touched by anyone else, and they both know that." Shutterstock (2)
Strained Relationship
According to an insider, Disick started feeling distance from the Kardashians after wrapping KUWTK in early 2021. “Scott and Kourtney’s relationship is definitely strained,” the source said in May 2021. “They don’t communicate much unless it has to do with their kids.” The source added, “Scott feels not just disconnected from Kourtney, but also all the Kardashians. This was his biggest fear — getting out of touch with his ‘family,’ and now him being on the outskirts with Kourtney is affecting him completely.”   Matt Baron/Shutterstock
In Scott's Words
Disick broke his silence on Kardashian’s relationship with Barker during the June 2021 KUWTK reunion, telling Cohen that he wants her to be happy. “I think if you really love somebody, right, you want them to be happy no matter what. So I do give her a blessing to be happy,” he said before throwing shade at Kardashian’s ex Younes Bendjima when the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host suggested that Disick gets “really upset when Kourtney is linked to other guys.” Disick responded, “Me? No. I just want to kill them. … Well, the last guy. Let’s all be honest here.”   Scott-Disick-Shades-Younes-Bendjima-Reveals-If-Hes-OK-With-Travis-Barker-002
The Amelia Shade
Barker threw shade at Disick’s lady love after a social media account suggested the musician, the Flip It Like Disick alum, Kardashian and Hamlin had dinner together in May 2021. “It’s so odd to me. Like, what does a 2001 baby have to do [with] these grown ass people? I know that dinner was awkward as hell,” one social media user commented. Days later, Us confirmed the drummer’s official social media account “liked” the comment.   Shutterstock (3)
The Younes DM
After Kardashian and Barker’s PDA-filled trip to Italy, Disick allegedly messaged Bendjima to throw shade. “Yo is this chick ok!????? Brooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy,” he allegedly DMed the former boxer in August 2021. Bendjima, who shared the alleged exchange via Instagram Stories, replied, “Don’t matter to me as long as she’s happy. PS: i aint your bro.”   Shutterstock (3)
The DM Aftermath
“Scott was definitely embarrassed by Younes sharing his DM,” a source told Us in September 2021. “He didn’t realize when he messaged him that that would happen. He DMed him when he was in a heated moment and was just looking for him to react the same way being that they both dated Kourtney.” The source added that Disick is “sick of seeing photos of them splashed everywhere” and he “doesn’t think she should be showing off too much PDA because of their rated-R behavior,” which their kids can easily see online. In April 2022, Kourtney revealed that Disick reached out to her after the DM drama. "When I was in Italy with Travis on our summer vacation, I woke up to a text from Scott saying, 'I am so sorry. I DMed your ex-boyfriend who I can't stand,'" the Poosh founder recalled on The Kardashians. "Then I wrote him, 'This is despicable. Your actions need to match up with you wanting to be a part of this and act like it." Shutterstock (2)
Their Current Status
According to an insider, Disick and Kardashian are more “strained” than ever as of September 2021. “What’s really got him riled up is the effect Travis and Kourtney’s relationship is having on his relationship with Kourtney,” the source said. “He’s trying to be the best parent he can be for their kids and make it work coparenting, but he’s having problems now with Kourtney.” That same month, another insider told Us that “outside of coparenting, Scott and Kourtney’s relationship is nonexistent." Courtesy of Kourtney Kardashian/Instagram
The Engagement Reaction
After news broke in October 2021 that Barker and Kourtney are engaged, a source told Us that Disick is “furious.” “He knew it was possible, but is very jealous of Kourtney and Travis’ relationship,” the source said. “Scott still thinks that they could call things off before the wedding.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock; AFF-USA/Shutterstock
Still Good With the Fam?
Disick made headlines in late September 2021 for unfollowing Kourtney — and all of her family members — on social media. The following month, however, he scored an invite to watch Kim Kardashian on Saturday Night Live alongside Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Broadimage/Shutterstock
Rising Tensions
Despite being spotted together at Reign's baseball game in March 2022, a source exclusively told Us that Disick "despises" Barker. The hangout was "a rare occasion," per the insider, and Disick usually "can't stand being around" the musician unless the kids are involved. "It's going to take time for him to fully accept Travis is The One for her," the source said of the Poosh founder, who Disick still views as being "the one that got away." A source told Us in March 2022 that Disick may want to "stay far away from witnessing” his ex's nuptials, adding, "It would definitely be awkward if Scott was at the wedding.“ However, if the ceremony is filmed for Kardashian-Jenner family's Hulu series, The Kardashians, then he might there," the source said. Shutterstock (2)
Learning to Adjust
During The Kardashians premiere, Disick admitted that he felt isolated after not being invited to a family event because of Kourtney and Barker. "Feeling left out and not being told anything is super hurtful — especially when I don't have another family to go to. I rather be around them and be around my family than not at all," he explained to Khloé during the April 2022 episode, noting that he was "lonely" amid the changes. "Honestly I think for the first time in my life it is finally starting to change. Now that Kourtney has her life with Travis, as hard as it is, it does give me a place to finally be able to move on." Hulu/YouTube
Like a Loss
"It was a huge adjustment losing Kourtney romantically, but now it has become a huge adjustment losing her as sort of a best friend. Now we are really more coparents. I would say it is probably one of the more difficult things in my life," he told cameras during an episode of The Kardashians in April 2022. "Kourtney has all [the] right to despise me for the way I treated her because it was horrible. Like that wouldn't go on today for a day. But it went on for years." Hulu/YouTube

Longtime Love! Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 11:48 AM PDT

Showing them how it's done! Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble‘s low-key romance has continued to grow since they first went public with their relationship.

In 2014, Jenner and Gamble sparked dating rumors after they met in Ibiza during a party thrown by Kim Kardashian‘s then-husband, Kanye West. Following the outing, the couple continued to be photographed spending time together.

Jenner and Gamble later took a major step in their relationship when he appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in March 2015. Amid their growing connection, the momager revealed that she wasn’t planning to reach certain milestones with her man.

“You know, you never say never, but I often say it's just not what I think I need to do again based on my past,” she explained of getting married on the “Divorce Sucks with Laura Wasser” podcast in September 2018. “I'm in a really great relationship right now, and I'm happy and I don't want to mess that up.”

Jenner’s previous divorces made her not want to rush things with Gamble. “I don't have the need to put on a long, white dress and walk down an aisle. I've done that,” she added. “I've had the big wedding, I've had the babies and the kids — six of them, by the way. It's not like we need to do that again. My body wouldn't cooperate if I wanted it to. I think that I just feel really grateful and blessed for my past experiences, and I'm looking forward to my future and I just don't think that I want to go there.”

The Hulu personality was previously married to the late Robert Kardashian from 1978 to 1991. The former couple had four children — Kourtney Kardashian, Kim, Khloé Kardashian and Rob Kardashian — ahead of their divorce. Kris later tied the knot with Caitlyn Jenner in 1991. After welcoming Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner together, the duo announced their separation in 2014.

Before finalizing their divorce, the former athlete publicly came out as transgender in 2015. However, the I Am Cait alum noted that her gender identity wasn’t the reason for her split from Kris.

“After 23 years, Kris and I went our separate directions. My identity it was not a big part of us separating,” Caitlyn detailed during an episode of Rob Lowe‘s “Literally!” podcast in September 2020. “There [were] so many other bigger issues out there.”

After many ups and downs, Kris and Caitlyn eventually got to a better place in their relationship. "We're fine. We're friends, I see her when she's at a family thing," she said during The Kardashians: An ABC News Special in April 2022. "It's, you know, settled down a lot."

RHOBH's Garcelle Was ‘Upset’ After Erika Jayne Tossed Her Book in the Trash

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 11:22 AM PDT

The Hills are alive with drama! Erika Jayne and Garcelle Beauvais are the latest Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costars to be feuding — and fans are here for the tea.

Two years after Garcelle joined the cast of RHOBH in 2020, tensions between her and Erika seemed to boil over while filming season 12 of the Bravo series. The duo raised eyebrows in January after the Jamie Foxx Show alum unfollowed the "Pretty Mess" singer.

"It was something that I didn't like, and it also didn't really align with who I am," Garcelle exclusively told Us Weekly in February as to why she isn't social media friends with her costar.

The Caught in His Web actress hinted that the cast's adventure in Aspen, Colorado, which will play out on season 12, could have started the disagreement between the ladies. However, Garcelle wouldn't give away much about the trip, telling Us, "I don't know how we pack so much in three days."

Garcelle recalled in her April memoir, Love Me As I Am, having a "camaraderie" with both Erika and Dorit Kemsley when she joined the reality series during season 10.

"I took instantly to her no-nonsense, direct, cut-to-the-chase attitude. It was very New York," Garcelle wrote of Erika. "A little tough and dude-leaning, just like me. She's seen somethings. I respected her story and struggle to get to where she was. Not an easy beginning, but she made it, baby!"

However, things have since changed between the women, with the Siren alum reigniting their feud that same month while promoting her book. Garcelle shared a clip of herself from RHOBH season 12 in which she insulted the "Roller Coaster" singer to help boost sales, which didn't sit right with Erika.

"I don't have to make you look bad, you can do that on your own," Garcelle yells in the clip. The actress then doubled down on her remarks in the caption of the Instagram post, writing, "You know how else you can look bad all on your own? By not pre-ordering your copy of #LoveMeAsIAm before it comes out on Tuesday."

Erika proceeded to throw her copy of Love Me As I Am in the trash in April, which a source exclusively told Us at the time was a direct result of Garcelle's video choice. "Garcelle attacked Erika again, so that's why she did what she did," the insider said. "They are still feuding. Nothing's changed."

Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on Bravo Wednesday, May 11, at 8 p.m. ET.

Garcelle Weighs In on Erika's Legal Trouble
The Bad Company actress praised Erika for doing her job and continuing to film season 11 of RHOBH amid her and estranged husband Tom Girardi’s ongoing legal woes. “It was shocking. It was absolutely shocking. I mean, you don’t wish this on your worst enemy,” Garcelle told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in June 2021. “So to have Erika going through all that and the fact … that she showed up, I don’t know if I would have showed up, honestly. The fact that she showed up, I think, was really tremendous on her part.” During the season, however, Garcelle threw shade at Erika after she filed for divorce from Tom after 20 years of marriage. Erika separated from the attorney, who was 81 at the time, in November 2020, which fans saw play out on the show in June 2021. “I just feel like they’ve been married that long, like …,” Garcelle said during one episode, hinting that Erika should have just stayed with Tom until he died. “I didn’t say it! I’m implying it and y’all are slow!” (It was later revealed that the duo were being sued in multiple lawsuits.) Shutterstock(3)
Garcelle Unfollows Erika
Eagle-eyed fans noticed in January 2022 that Garcelle no longer followed Erika on Instagram amid filming season 12 of the Bravo series. The social media slight came around the same time that Sutton Stracke stopped following the Georgia native online. Erika, for her part, noticed the Instagram shutout after a fan page posted about it. “Well [let] me unfollow her back,” she commented. Sutton later re-followed Erika. RHOBH's Aspen Trip
The Coming 2 America actress teased in February 2022 the much talked about girls’ trip to Aspen, Colorado, hinting that her feud with Erika could be linked to the getaway. The experience was “off the chain,” Garcelle exclusively told Us at the time, adding, “That’s all I’m saying.” Nicole Weingart/Bravo
Trashing Garcelle's Book
Erika confirmed that her issues with Garcelle were far from over in April 2022 when she tossed the model’s memoir, Love Me As I Am, into the garbage. “Garcelle, even though you unfollowed me I’m sure you’ll see this,” the singer wrote via her Instagram Story alongside a snap of the book in her trashcan. CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock; MediaPunch/Shutterstock
Erika Doubles Down on Garcelle's Book Problems
The Pretty Mess author got real about why she threw Garcelle’s memoir in the trash via a series of tweets in April 2022, calling out her costar for using her name and likeness to promote the project. When asked what made her throw the book out, Erika replied, “Her Instagram post. No need to use my name or very complicated legal and personal problems to sell her book. She has enough friends to help her.” Garcelle, for her part, teased the memoir via Instagram using a clip from RHOBH in which she slams Erika, saying, “I don’t have to make you look bad, you can do that on your own.” Erika later tweeted that the NYPD Blue alum should “cut me a check” for using her Housewives drama to help sell copies of the book. “Don’t use my name to promote your book. Use your famous friends,” she added. The musician also slammed Garcelle for allegedly coming after Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards and Amelia Gray Hamlin in the piece. “When you write a book it’s a choice what to write about. I kept it positive and about me and my friends, family,” Erika tweeted. “No need to include others.” Shutterstock(2)
Plenty of Shade
After the RHOBH costars traded social media barbs in April 2022, Garcelle thanked Erika for the publicity during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen later that month. “I was upset because it wasn’t a clip that I pulled myself: It was a clip from the actual trailer, so I was upset that she took it that way,” she told host Andy Cohen, noting that the “Roller Coaster” singer should reach out to her first, though neither have at this point. Kendall Jenner Through the Years

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 11:15 AM PDT

Going from Olympian's daughter to reality fixture to fashion superstar, Kendall Jenner has grown up in front of fans' eyes. Now, she's taking the world by storm.

In 2017, Forbes named her the world's highest-earning model after the then-22-year-old raked in a $22 million in a single year.

Two years prior, in an interview with WSJ Magazine, Jenner reflected on leaving her childhood behind. "I feel like I grew up too fast a long time ago," she said at the time. "Having older siblings, you grow up around adults, so you mature more quickly. I saw my sisters and parents working every day, so I was pretty much brought up to be a workaholic."

At the time, she had just turned 19 and was trepidatious about turning 20. "It's the first step out of being a teenager," she explained. "My sister Khloé [Kardashian] always says to me and my younger sister, Kylie [Jenner], 'You have your whole life to be an adult but only so long to be a kid' And we get it. In the right situations, I try to be as immature as I can sometimes — react to things as if I were 12. You can't take things too seriously. I just laugh thinking about my dad being a teenager, partying. It's the funniest thing. And it makes me think — what am I going to be like when I'm 65?"

If Kendall is still afraid of adulthood, she's certainly not showing it, confidently striding down fashion runways around the world — and pushing herself into a variety of different business ventures, including her 818 Tequila brand.

"For almost 4 years I've been on a journey to create the best tasting tequila. After dozens of blind taste tests, trips to our distillery, entering into world tasting competitions anonymously and WINNING … 3.5 years later I think we've done it!" Kendall wrote via Instagram in February 2021, three months before launching 818 Tequila. "This is all we've been drinking for the last year and I can't wait for everyone else to get their hands on this to enjoy it as much as we do! @drink818 coming soon."

Kendall received an outpouring of love from her family ahead of the launch, including sister Kylie.

"KENDALL!!!!! yes!!! I've seen all the hard work and LOVE you've put into 818!!! and u did it … the best tequila !!! proud of u," she commented on the announcement post.

The NCIS: Hawaii star, 41, admitted during the season 1 reunion of The Ultimatum that she had "mixed feelings" about contestant April Marie looking through boyfriend Jake Cunningham's phone. "There was a time in my life when I did it," she recalled to the shock of her spouse, 48.

"You did it too! I’m actually surprised you figured out my password, [which] was a good one," Vanessa, who wed the 98 Degrees musician in July 2011, said during the reality TV special, which dropped on Wednesday, April 13.

"I remember we went to a therapist and she was like, 'If y’all are going through each other’s phones then you shouldn’t be together,'" Vanessa added. "I was like, 'You’re right. I need to trust this man and he needs to trust me.'"

The former Total Request Live host and the Masked Singer alum started dating in 2007 after his breakup with ex-wife Jessica Simpson. (The fashion designer, for her part, eventually moved on, marrying Eric Johnson in July 2014, with whom she shares daughters Maxwell, 9, and Birdie, 3, and son Ace, 8.)

"He was literally in a very public marriage and a very public divorce, and I had to go through all that s–t very publicly and it was very hard for us," Vanessa recalled of her early courtship with Nick during an April 6 episode of The Ultimatum. "It wasn't until the moment that he was like, 'I'm gonna let it go,' and I said, 'I'm gonna let it go,' and we truly committed to each other. We literally fell deeper and harder than we ever could."

The Love Is Blind cohosts guide six long-term couples who are at turning points in their relationships on the show. After one person in each couple issued an ultimatum, they began a "trial" marriage with one of their new costars. By the end of the three-week experience, each contestant had to decide whether to reunite with their original partner or move on with someone new.

The married couple — who share sons Camden, 9, and Phoenix, 5, and daughter Brooklyn, 7 — understand the Ultimatum's premise all too well after they briefly split in 2009 ahead of their eventual reconciliation and marriage. Nick and Vanessa have since been open about their "lucky" life as a family of five.

"I've never felt more at home than I do in Hawaii," the Twist of Christmas actress exclusively told Us Weekly last month. "Honestly, I constantly tell [Nick] how lucky I feel that we get to be here as a family. I feel like I'm meant to be an Air Force brat, like, traveling all around the world. I've never really felt like I was home until here. … It's beautiful. The kids are, like, out playing."

The Ultimatum season 1 is now streaming on Netflix. It’s already been renewed for a second season.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's Ups and Downs Through the Years

Posted: 14 Apr 2022 11:08 AM PDT

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were married for less than two years, but they’ve weathered a ton of ups and downs since their 2016 split.

The Oscar nominee and the Aquaman star met on the set of the 2011 film The Rum Diary, which began production in early 2009. At the time, Depp was in a long-term relationship with Vanessa Paradis, with whom he shares daughter Lily-Rose (born in 1999) and son Jack (born in 2002).

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor and the French singer announced their separation in June 2012. He and Heard began dating that same year, but they didn’t make their first official appearance as a couple until January 2014 when they attended a gala together.

The duo tied the knot in February 2015 during a low-key ceremony at Depp’s home, then had a larger, more lavish celebration in the Bahamas on the actor’s private island.

“Nothing is a dramatic change,” Heard told Elle magazine in June 2015 after the pair’s nuptials. “We’ve been together for a long time now, so it’s been a fairly organic process. I have a fiercely independent spirit.”

The trouble, however, began right away. Shortly after their marriage, Heard and Depp made headlines when they brought their two dogs, Pistol and Boo, to Australia without proper documentation. The country has strict animal quarantine rules because of its many unique species of flora and fauna.

As a result of their settlement with the nation, the pair later recorded a much-discussed apology video in which they talked about the importance of biosecurity. “Australia’s a wonderful island with a treasure trove of unique plants, animals and people,” Heard began in the video, which was released in April 2016. Depp added, “It has to be protected.”

One month later, the couple called it quits. The Magic Mike XXL actress filed for divorce from Depp in May 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. Two days after filing, Heard accused her estranged husband of domestic violence and obtained a temporary restraining order against him.

A rep for the Finding Neverland actor denied the allegations in a statement at the time, saying: "Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."

In August 2016, the pair reached a settlement, and their divorce was finalized in January 2017. The tumult, however, continued long after their split.

The pair began dating the same year that Depp announced his split from longtime partner Paradis. In January 2014, the Kentucky native and the Justice League star got engaged. Heard did not often speak publicly about her then-fiancé, but she rejected the idea that her relationship was helping her gain a leg up in Hollywood. “I haven’t noticed any change in my career,” she told W magazine in May 2014. “And, for better or worse, I’ve always had a love life that seemed particularly salacious to some people." Heard filed for divorce after just over one year of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. She initially accused Depp of domestic violence days after filing divorce paperwork. After Heard showed the court a photo of herself with a bruised face, a judge granted her a temporary restraining order against Depp, who denied her allegations of abuse. Three months later, the duo reached a divorce settlement and said in a joint statement that they had a "volatile" relationship. “Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love,” they said after Heard dismissed her petition for a restraining order. “Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm.” Richard Shotwell/Shutterstock

Depp filed a libel lawsuit against the U.K. newspaper The Sun after the publication called him a "wife beater" in an article about his involvement in the Fantastic Beasts film series. Heard published an op-ed in The Washington Post in which she detailed the ways her life had changed after she came forward with her 2016 allegations against Depp. She did not mention him by name, but she referred to a moment "two years" earlier when she "became a public figure representing domestic abuse." In early 2019, Depp filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Heard over the essay she wrote for The Washington Post. Heard asked the court to throw out the suit, but in August 2021, a Virginia judge ruled that the case could proceed. The actress also filed a $100 million countersuit against Depp, with her lawyers accusing her ex of instigating a smear campaign against her. David Fisher/Shutterstock
July 2020
The trial for Depp's libel lawsuit against The Sun began in London. As part of the proceedings, multiple witnesses were called to testify on behalf of Depp and his character, including his ex-girlfriends Paradis and Winona Ryder, who claimed that he was not violent toward them during their relationships. "I was absolutely shocked, confused and upset when I heard the accusations against him,” Ryder said in her statement. "[The] idea that he is an incredibly violent person is the farthest thing from the Johnny I knew and loved. I cannot wrap my head around these accusations. He was never, never violent towards me. He was never, never abusive at all towards me." Paradis, for her part, called him a "kind, attentive, generous and nonviolent person and father." During the trial, Depp claimed that Heard had been the aggressor in their alleged domestic violence incidents. Heard stated that her former spouse was the instigator, but she claimed that she once hit him in self-defense. James Veysey/Shutterstock
November 2020
The High Court of Justice ruled that The Sun's article was not libelous because Heard's allegations were "substantially true." Depp said at the time that he wanted to fight the judgment, but the court later denied him permission to appeal. Shortly after the verdict, Depp exited the third Fantastic Beasts film, The Secrets of Dumbledore. “I wish to let you know that I have been asked to resign by Warner Bros. from my role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts and I have respected and agreed to that request,” he wrote via Instagram at the time. As the duo's defamation trial began in Virginia, Heard defended the essay that Depp was suing her over. “I never named him, rather I wrote about the price women pay for speaking against men in power,” she wrote via Instagram. “I continue to pay that price, but hopefully, when this case concludes, I can move on and so can Johnny. I have always maintained a love for Johnny and it brings me great pain to have to live out the details of our past life together in from of the world.” In opening statements, Heard's attorney, Ben Rottenborn, claimed that evidence would show that Depp's alleged abuse against his ex-wife "took many forms" over the years, including sexual abuse. "You will hear in the most graphic and horrifying terms about the violence that she suffered," the lawyer argued. "You'll hear that straight from her. She will get on the stand and she will tell you that. It happened." Depp, meanwhile, denied the allegations via a spokesperson. "These fictitious claims were never made at the onset of Amber's allegations in 2016, and only advantageously surfaced years later once she was sued for defamation after noting in her op-ed that she was a victim of 'sexual violence,'" the rep told E! News at the time. "Words are key in a defamation case and conveniently, this allegation only came after that." EVELYN HOCKSTEIN/POOL/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock
