James Kennedy and Ally Lewber's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 10:25 AM PDT

Moving on! Less than three months after Vanderpump Rules costars James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss called off their engagement, he found love with Ally Lewber.

"James met Ally recently and they have been dating for a few months now," Kennedy's rep exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2022. "He's super happy and excited to see what the future holds."

The England native met the entertainment journalist that January following his split from Leviss.

"I'm kind of seeing someone," Kennedy revealed during a February episode of Lala Kent's "Give Them Lala" podcast. "Look, it's too early to say honestly [if Ally will appear on Vanderpump Rules]. I do like this girl, I really do. I don't know. We'll see what happens. I can't ask any girl to do that."

The DJ continued: "With [Ally], I'm taking my time. She gets to choose what she wants to do with that whole situation, and then for me, it's like, I have to decide as well. What I do know is I'm going to be doing me and I'm going to be f—king enjoying myself. Truly. Because honestly, after Raquel left, now it's like I don't have anyone to impress or please except for myself. … My heart cannot break anymore. I don't care what anyone thinks or what everyone wants."

The former SUR busser and the Belmont University grad's romance has progressed as they've taken their romance public both via social media and on the red carpet. The twosome were all smiles as they posed on the iHeartRadio Awards red carpet in March 2022.

Kennedy was previously engaged to Leviss for seven months before they split in December 2021.

"After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement," the exes wrote in a joint Instagram statement at the time. "We love each other very much, but we aren't in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love."

Hours before the Bravo personalities confirmed their breakup, they filmed the season 9 reunion, which forced them to hash out where their relationship stood.

"We have decided to break off the engagement. It's been something that I have been thinking about for a while, and I think that James has noticed that my heart hasn't been fully in it," Leviss — who returned her engagement ring during the episode — explained during the special, which aired in January 2022. "I didn't want to give up on him because he really has shown me how dedicated he is to me and the things that he is willing to do to better himself. But I feel like it is something deep within. I have been having nightmares about our wedding day, and I think that's a telltale sign that something is wrong."

Kennedy, for his part, has since claimed he "dodged a bullet" after Leviss held an "un-engagement" party with her friends.

"We had a conversation a couple of months ago. I asked her if I am your soulmate and she said, 'Do you think I am your soulmate?' It was almost like the first time that I felt like we weren't destined in the galaxy," Kennedy explained during the reunion. "It wasn't a clear answer. It wasn't like, 'Absolutely you are my soulmate.' That's how it should be I feel like. At least that is what I want. And we rather just end it and pull the Band-Aid off before we get married, have a baby and f–king get a divorce. That is literally the last thing I want."

Everything Jana Kramer Has Said About Healing Since Mike Caussin Split

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 10:13 AM PDT

Turning the page. Jana Kramer has been vocal about the emotional rollercoaster she's been on since splitting from Mike Caussin.

Us Weekly confirmed in April 2021 that the One Tree Hill alum filed for divorce from the former football player after nearly six years of marriage. Kramer announced the breakup the same month, revealing she "fought" to keep her relationship going.

"I've loved hard. I've forgiven. I've put the work in. I've given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give," she wrote via Instagram at the time. "I just can't fight any longer.  It's time to heal. Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful. I'll always encourage you to continue the good fight, but you can't fight it alone. 💔"

Shortly after news of the split broke, a source exclusively told Us that the Approaching Midnight actress, who shares daughter Jolie and son Jace with the ex-NFL star, "uncovered a recent infidelity" that led to her ending things for good.

The former couple previously separated in 2016 after being married one year. The brief split came after Us broke the news of Caussin's infidelity. The Virginia native sought treatment for sex addiction and the pair renewed their vows the following year.

"Jana's final straw came when she uncovered once again that [Mike] had cheated on her," the insider said in April 2021, noting the duo were in couple's counseling every week ahead of the divorce.

A second source told Us, "Jana and Mike both agree [that] at this point it's not going to work." The insider explained that while the former athlete "always regrets what he's done" in regard to his past indiscretions, "unfortunately it doesn't end there."

Kramer, for her part, "knows she did her best and did everything she could" before walking away, according to the source. "She's definitely holding her ground and saying she's not going to take him back. She's done, but emotionally it's been draining."

The Love at First Bark star has since returned to social media and her hosting duties on the "Whine Down" podcast. Kramer's personal life has never been off limits, with the actress opening up about her highs and lows with fans both online and on the radio.

Scroll down to see what the Christmas in Mississippi star has said about her breakup, including how she's moving forward as a single mom and career woman.

New Normal
“I have to start getting used to my new normal. Forgive me for not really knowing how to walk that yet,” Kramer said via her Instagram Stories in April 2021, noting she doesn’t want to “put a Band-Aid on things because in order to fully grow, you have to grieve and heal.” The “I’ve Done Love” singer added: “I’m trying to just be really mindful of that, and not distract myself with this, that and the other. But I do want to start getting back to having some normalcy — even in my new normal. So that’s with you guys, but just thank you, again. It means more to me than you know.” Shutterstock (2)
Feeling Embarrassed
When the Country Crush actress returned to her “Whine Down” podcast in May 2021, she noted that she wasn’t sure if the podcast was the right thing for her anymore. “You know, I started this show by myself … and once Mike came on as a guest and we talked about our stuff, he said that he loved sharing,” she explained. “And then it just felt like ours, so now it feels weird not having him on here.” Kramer revealed that she felt “like a zombie” in the weeks that followed their divorce announcement. “I didn’t want this. At the end of the day, like, I think … I’m embarrassed that this is how it ended, and then I also feel like I’ve let people down. … I thought we were good,” she said. “Like, why was I so weak? Why am I pining for these men to love me? … I’m gonna do the work though and … one day, hopefully I’ll be healthy to attract healthy. I can’t even think about [dating] right now. That is, like, the furthest thing in my brain.” Tinseltown/Shutterstock
Jealous of Future Mrs. Caussin
The “I Got the Boy” singer admitted she had a “lot of resentment” toward her estranged husband in May 2021, one month after announcing their split. “I feel like it’s take, take, take. It’s, like, you already took everything,” she said during an episode of her podcast. “Not everything, but you took my family away from me. That’s where I’m stuck right now … angry.” Kramer added that her former spouse is “gonna change, so the next girl gets the changed man,” which irks her. “I fear that I’m going to resent him for the rest of my life for breaking up our family,” she said. “I’ve gotten out of the ‘Will he ever change? Did I make the right decision?’ [space]. I know I made the right decision. … I’m never settling, ever again. I’d rather be alone.” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
Coparenting Woes
“There’s a lot of emotions and feelings. I think we’re doing the best we can, but it definitely sucks,” the actress said via her Instagram Story in June 2021 of coparenting with the Virginia native. One week prior, Kramer told her podcast listeners that she was “not ready” to do family activities with her estranged husband. “The other day he asked me, ‘Hey, do you want to do birdhouses?’” she recalled on her podcast. “I’ve got the kids. He hasn’t moved into his new place, so I let him come and see the kids obviously. I was, like, ‘Uh, yeah sure.’ Then I went out there, and I got struck with this emotion, you know, like, this isn’t real. I’m not ready to do this yet. I would love to have done this, but now I’m like, ‘I’m still mad at [you].'” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
Kid Question
The mother of two told her podcast listeners in June 2021 that she isn’t sure what the future holds for her when it comes to expanding her family. “Maybe if I met The One [I’d have more kids]," Kramer said. “I never thought I would have to have that conversation again. I don’t know. I’ve had miscarriages.” The Dancing With the Stars alum noted “there was always something happening in my relationship” when she and Caussin found out they were pregnant. “It would be nice to experience it in a healthy and happy way and celebrate it,” she explained. “There was always something behind the scenes that I didn’t know about or I had just found out about, so it would be nice to not have any of that energy and just be like, ‘We’re pregnant!'” MediaPunch/Shutterstock; Jim Smeal/Shutterstock
Ring Bling
The One Tree Hill alum revealed in June 2021 that she sold her second wedding ring from the former NFL player following their split. “That money from the ring paid for the furniture and the new additions to the house,” she said during her “Whine Down” podcast, noting she also redid most of her house in the wake of the divorce. “I debated. I was like, ‘I’m going to sell this ring and then maybe buy myself something.’ Like a bag. My divorce present. [But] I was like, ‘Honestly, what would make me happiest is to have new energy in the house.’ So, I took that money and gave it to my [interior designers]. I needed to create a new space that felt like me and felt like mine.” Kramer explained that she previously sold her first wedding ring after Caussin cheated on her in 2016 resulting in a brief split where he sought treatment for sex addiction. The two later renewed their vows in 2017. “It’s the second ring I’ve had to get rid of from him,” she said. “Cause the first ring I was like, ‘I will never put this back on my hand.’ … I took every diamond he ever bought me and I sold them, because I didn’t want to look at them ever again.” imageSPACE/Shutterstock
Hurt and Hate
“It’s still super hard. It’s still, like, I’m gonna have to deal with him for the rest of my life,” Kramer said on a June 2021 episode of the “Unzipped” podcast of her relationship with Caussin now. “I wish we could just be, like, ‘All right, peace out.’ Like, ‘Great knowing you. You do you.’ [But] we have kids that essentially bind us together and there’s still so much, like, hate and hurt between us.” The Soccer Mom Madam star continued: “I’m trying my best to, like, lead with love and when he doesn’t do it and I’m, like, ‘Well, wait a minute, like, you don’t get to be mean to me. I didn’t want this.’ So it’s very hard for me not to go to that same place, but I know that he deals with his sadness in his way of more anger.” The Michigan native also commented on the most “unfair” thing about her divorce. “I did get angry with him because I was just, like, you basically blew our house up. You blew me up and then you leave and you expect me to, like, [be a] mom,” she explained. “I [have] pieces everywhere, like, literally blown-up house. That’s why, you know, the girls came over and were, like, literally making food for my kids, because I was just lost.” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
Romance Rumors
The “Circles” singer set the record straight in June 2021 on where she and Bachelorette alum Graham Bunn stand after previously saying they were in an “entanglement” amid her divorce. “It’s one of those things where … first of all, I don’t even know what [an entanglement] is,” Kramer joked on her podcast. “I just feel like sometimes I need to take a beat before I say something because I would have obviously worded it a lot differently.” She continued: “I regret that a little bit because the storms of stories that came out really affected me and my anxiety because that’s just not where I’m at. It messed with me and threw me for a loop. But to set the record straight, we are friends, and I’ve known of him for seven years. … I didn’t watch his season of The Bachelorette, I didn’t even know he was on it.” The musician noted that she reconnected with Bunn following her split and the two have spent time together, but she insisted she’s not ready for a new relationship just yet. “He knows and I know that I just need to be alone,” she explained. “I need to go through what I’m going through and I need to do that alone.” Shutterstock (2)
Single Mom Status
After receiving backlash for calling herself a “single mom” in June 2021, Kramer doubled down on her mom status via Instagram. “I read a pretty nasty site that people were hating on me because I said I was a single mom so apparently I’m not allowed to say that. But I am single. I am a mom,” she captioned a solo snap at the time. “To further drive my point home, I looked up the definition and it’s a parent who has the kids more than 50%👋🏼.” She concluded: “[To those] mean trolls you don’t know me, so don’t be mean. Come over for a glass of wine and then judge me all you want after u get to know me and my single momness;),” Kramer continued. “Okay rant over this isn’t relaxing. Choose kindness. Choose love. 😂.” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
Feeling Lighter
The Support the Girls actress opened up about her mindset post-split during a June 2021 Q&A, telling her fans the three things she wants from a relationship moving forward. “Trust, never gonna settle for that one again,” she explained. “Communication and kindness. Just respect. Be nice to each other.” When asked if things had gotten “easier” since the breakup, Kramer replied that some areas of her life had improved. “What’s easier is not having that, like, heaviness, and just feeling lighter and not always worrying and wondering,” she said. “I’m happier in that aspect, but it’ll always be hard saying bye to the kids, because again, that’s not what I ever imagined or wanted.” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
Coping With the Cheating
The Christmas in Louisiana star got real about how she’s been coping with the “betrayal” of Caussin cheating on her during a separate June 2021 Instagram Q&A. “It’s not easy. It’s hard. That betrayal sits deep in you and there’s a lot of hate and a lot of anger,” she said. “Their actions essentially dictated your dreams, your hopes, your future and that’s painful.” Kramer noted that she is trying to get rid of the pain and anger because it “does nothing but hurt me and cause stress.” She concluded: “I don’t want to hurt anymore. So, [she asks herself], ‘How am I gonna get up from this? How am I going to regain my happiness?’ Don’t let them or their actions continue to bring you down. You’re worth more.” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
New Chapter
When asked by a fan during the same Q&A what her “favorite” thing about this new chapter is, Kramer responded, “Just doing me. Figuring out what I like and what I don’t like. Kind of rediscovering myself. Creating a new energy, new beginnings.” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
I Do Round 4?
“Yeah, because I still believe in [marriage],” Kramer said in a June 2021 Instagram Q&A. “I don’t think I would have a wedding. I would just elope. Just me, the person, the kids on a beach somewhere with the sunset.” The mother of two, who has been married three times, explained that she only “truly” feels like she’s been married once and it was to Caussin. (Kramer was married to Michael Gambino from 2004 to 2005 before tying the knot again with Johnathon Schaech in 2010. The pair split after 12 days.) “That was a real marriage … not to defend [the other weddings, but] the first was when I was 19 and it was [by] Elvis, and no one knew until he tried to kill me,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself via her Instagram Story. “And the second was, like, a week. I hardly call any of those a marriage. What I do call a marriage is putting in the time to fight for it and I did that the last time. And one day I believe I’ll end up with the one I’ve always meant to be with. [Someone] to fight for and [who will] respect our marriage.”  Courtesy Jana Kramer/Instagram
Mixed Feelings
The “Beautiful Lies” singer revealed that she both regrets giving Caussin a second chance and is OK with doing so, saying, “I learned a lot about myself through this. I have two beautiful babies.” Kramer noted during her June 2021 Q&A that “not all second chances end like mine. I still believe a relationship could work again but there has to be two people fighting for themselves and their relationship.” Broadimage/Shutterstock
In a Better Place
“I have arrived at my happy place,” Kramer captioned a series of photos from her native Michigan in July 2021. “Wasn’t sure how I would feel coming back after everything but it’s a happy place for a reason. No matter what it’s my special place so nothing can take away from that. It’s my breath of fresh air. My escape. Anytime I’m ever anxious I think of this place. And here I am.. feeling light and free. . #michigan #lakelife.” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
Loving Herself
"My issue is that I am drawn to people that will never fully love me because it’s something that I always want and, for some reason, I go to the people that I know, deep down, can never love me the way that I want to be loved," the actress said during the July 4 episode of her podcast. "My battle is I want to show and prove that I'm lovable and worthy enough and try to win that person. That’s my issue." She added: "If I loved myself enough, I never would have stayed after Mike cheated on me a month into our relationship. Never, because I would have known my worth." Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Missing Mike
During the August 8 episode of her podcast, Kramer admitted that she writes down everything she'd like to say to her ex and it helps her during tough times. "There's times when, of course, I miss my ex. To be able to sit down and go, 'OK, yes, there were good moments here, but would I go back? Here's what I don't miss.' It's like, 'OK, I don't want to go back to that. This is healthier.'" Jack Plunkett/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Regrets
During the August 9 episode of Maria Menounos' "Better Together" podcast, Kramer admitted that she sometimes shares too much about her marriage. "There's a lot of things I really regret saying," the actress said. "That's honestly the reason I started talking about the infidelity piece of my marriage because I wanted to change the narrative. I'm like, 'My ex didn't understand,' and I was like, 'People will write about the fact you cheated on me in every article, let's change the narrative,' and be like, 'Hey, but this is how we survived it and how we got through it,' and obviously, we didn't end up [with that] positive tone." Carrying the ‘Heavy’ Emotional Weight
During an August 2021 Instagram Story Q&A, Kramer revealed her stance on rebuilding trust after cheating incidents and allegations.  After one follower asked,  “My husband cheated too, think trusting will get easier??,” the singer replied, “The bottom line is that he has to be consistent with telling the truth because if he continues to lie, if he continues to act out, it most likely wouldn’t work, but, um, if he does the work, you do the work and he’s honest [she gave a thumbs-up to the camera].” She also further dished on her “hardest” decision to end her marriage to Caussin, calling the emotional weight “heavy to carry.” Courtesy of Jana Kramer/Instagram
Getting Back Out There
Kramer said she wants to dip her toes back into the dating world. "I do feel like now I'm in a place where I kinda want to get back out there and date, slowly," she said on the August 29 episode of her podcast. "I'm open to it, knowing that I still have a lot of healing to do," she added. "I'm open to dating and not knowing who my person is and knowing that I don't have to be with someone, that I'm OK alone. ... I need them to check all the boxes." Broadimage/Shutterstock
Singing Through the Pain
The country artist sang about regretting a relationship in a new track she previewed via social media on August 30. "Could've avoided it all, every tear running down my cheek," Kramer sang. She continued, singing in a different clip, "The nicest thing you ever could of done was just keep walking. Could've stayed two strangers, why'd you mess it up with talking?" Courtesy Jana Kramer/Instagram
Shutting Down
"I'm still in the grieving process of it," Kramer admitted on an August 2021 "Whine Down" podcast episode. "And when we talk, [Mike's] very much like, 'Get over it. This is our reality.' But I'm not there yet. ... There's no empathy in that. ... It feels very business-like." The actress was "struggling" with the coldness between her and her former spouse, she said. "I'm not that light switch that can be like, 'Oh yeah, this is our reality. I'm over it.' ... I never thought it would be, like, a business relationship like that." Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Cheating Hurts
"Most of my DMs are people asking 'why wasn't I enough, my husband or partner cheated,'" Kramer shared in an August 2021 Instagram Story. "Listen, I get it. [This was] one of the hardest things I had to also walk through. But their actions are not because you aren't enough. It has NOTHING to do with you." The actress added, "Cheating is a choice. You didn't force them to do that. But what YOU can do now is look in the mirror, own your side and what you can do better next time and be healthy and happy for YOU." Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
Little by Little
Kramer opened up even more about her healing process post-split, telling Entertainment Tonight in September 2021 that her heart is "pieced back together" instead of broken. "I've learned a lot and I'm still learning and I'm still growing and I'm still healing, but I'm definitely seeing the silver lining," she explained, noting that working on new music was a major help along the way. Paul A Hebert/Shutterstock
Music Therapy
"I have my days, but I do know, in my core, in my healthy state, I do know that I am worthy and I can't wait to give somebody that love, that I know that I deserve, that I give as well, so most times I believe that, but it's hard," Kramer told ET while promoting her breakup song “Voices” in September 2021. "I do believe that there is someone out there that will see everything that I do, and I know I'm a great mom. I know I work really hard. I have a lot of love to give and I just hope that one day, that's cherished." The singer, who noted she’s "kissed a few frogs since divorce,” also played coy about her budding romance with Jay Cutler. "I've learned the lesson of being almost too open in my words," Kramer said. "I mean obviously I've said a lot of things on the podcast, ‘Whine Down,' and it kind of burned me with my last relationship, and I'm scared to talk about any relationship that isn't gonna … that I don't know, you know? So I just want to keep things close to me cause if not they will get so picked apart. I just wanna be careful about that 'cause I feel like I got really burned sharing too much of my last relationship, so I wanna keep things a little closer to my chest." Jason Bihler/Mega
Finding Her Voice
Kramer released new single “Voices” in September 2021, in which she sings about her breakup with Caussin. “I’m done with voices in my head / Voices in my head / I know that I am enough / I am great / I am not broken / I am worthy of love,” she belts out in the track. The mother of two shared multiple videos rocking out to the song via her Instagram Story, before getting teary-eyed over the message in the lyrics. “Remembering where I was five months ago and how broken I felt,” she captioned one Instagram Story video. “Very full circle moment.” Kramer then pulled herself together before saying, “Ah, all the feels” and letting the track play in the background. Movie Family Support
In a December 2021 episode of "Whine Down," Kramer was joined by Lifetime movie costars Ryan McPartlin and Maria Menounos and explained that they were essential in helping her heal after her split. She was just starting to film The Holiday Fix Up when her divorce was finalized. "I don't think I came to set that lovely, but you guys were there to lift me up," Kramer told her colleagues. "I could not have asked for better friendships and people to work with. I felt so supported and Maria [Menounos], I hope you did too, and with everything you were going through. It's something to be said about having such an amazing working family and friendship because it not only portrays onscreen but also the offscreen stuff. I'm very thankful for both of you guys for that experience and everything we went through in personal lives too." Courtesy of Lifetime
Hard to Trust
During a Decemebr 2021 episode of her "Whine Down" podcast, Kramer admitted she's struggling to trust men while dating and very hesitant to share any relationship with the public. "I feel like there's no way that someone can be honest and that it can be good," she said at the time. "I'm used to just war and not being on steady ground. ... For seven years, I was always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Clearly, there's another shoe to drop and I don't want to be fooled again." Michael Simon/startraksphoto.com
1 Year Later
"This week is one year of finding out and being forced to file for divorce," the actress explained via Instagram in April 2022. "I honestly can’t believe it’s been a year but damn I’m proud of myself for how far I’ve come and how strong I have been. Wasn’t easy to do but I’m leaving the past in the past and all the feelings that have held me back today." Kramer wanted her followers to know that the same was possible for them and shared a message of hope: "The strength inside of me fires my soul each day and I cry tears of happiness to remember just how far I’ve come. And just how strong I am. And that I’m enough. And so are you. I promise If you’re in a season where you feel like you can’t get up ... in one year you will feel stronger." "He's getting ready to do a show on Broadway called Take Me Out. He has to be naked on stage in that play, and Debbie and I [were] just talking about it [and] going to New York to see him when it opens. I said, 'I can't see Jesse naked on stage.'" Pompeo, 52, admitted during the April 13 episode of her "Tell Me" podcast. "I have to go support my friend. And you know Debbie, that's like her son, right? On our show, he does play her son."

The 40-year-old Chicago native — who left the long-running medical series in season 17 — initially joined the ABC series in season 6 as Dr. Jackson Avery. The plastic surgeon is notably the son of Dr. Catherine Fox, a renowned surgeon whom Allen, 72, portrays. Williams has since left the show, moving onto the bright lights of Broadway.

"I was like, 'What are we gonna do? How are we gonna go see this show?' Because you want good seats, but you want to be up close," the Massachusetts native discussed her potential attendance earlier this month. "But if he's gonna be naked on stage, we don't want to be up close. So, you know, we have a real situation to figure out."

Williams made his Great White Way debut earlier this month, portraying baseball player Darren Lemming in the MLB-inspired play. The production, which was initially staged in 2002 off-Broadway, also stars Patrick J. Adams and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The show, running through June 11, has pledged to create a safe space for the actors surrounding their nude scenes. Per a description on Second Stage’s website, all patrons’ smartphones will be placed into a sealed case for the duration of the show and unlocked following curtain call.

"I'm not scared, it was fun," Williams revealed about his Broadway debut during a Tuesday, April 19, appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers"Our play is so intense and the language is so dense that as soon as naked people come out, everyone gets quiet. You could hear a pin drop — or something else drop. It gets really quiet every time we come out there."

The play, which opened at the Helen Hayes Theater on April 4, already counts Williams' former TV mother as a fan.

".@iJesseWilliams is incredible in Take Me Out, his Broadway Debut," the Fame alum tweeted on April 5. "Took me out! BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! The play is spectacular!"

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 actor was initially scheduled to join the production in March 2021 ahead of the coronavirus pandemic.

"I'm really excited," Williams teased his Broadway gig in June 2021 during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "We started — I was in the third week of rehearsals … when COVID hit, so we had to abandon ship there, but lucky for us, which is incredibly lucky, we get to go back and get another shot at this thing."

While the play was postponed amid Broadway's two-year shutdown, he returned to Grey's Anatomy before his eventual season 17 exit.

"I directly impacted the dialogue, especially the episode a couple of weeks ago with me going to find my dad. I was directly involved in all of that language," Williams told Entertainment Weekly in May 2021 after his character left Grey Sloan Memorial to run the Fox Foundation in Boston. "I know the character as well as anybody. People come and go — some writers come and go, directors come and go, but I'm that character all day, every day. So it's just really beautiful for that to be acknowledged, and to feel included. It's a privilege."

“This week is one year of finding out and being forced to file for divorce,” the actress, 38, revealed via Instagram on Tuesday, April 19. “I honestly can't believe it's been a year but damn I'm proud of myself for how far I've come and how strong I have been. Wasn't easy to do but I'm leaving the past in the past and all the feelings that have held me back today.”

The “I Got the Boy” singer announced in April 2021 that she and Caussin, 35, were officially over. “I've fought y'all. I've loved hard. I've forgiven. I've put the work in. I've given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give,” she wrote in a statement at the time.

The twosome attempted to navigate the former football player’s battle with sex addiction for years before pulling the plug on their relationship. "Jana's final straw came when she uncovered once again that [Mike] had cheated on her," an insider told Us Weekly at the time. She claimed to Extra in May 2021 that Caussin’s alleged infidelity left her “no choice” but to file for divorce from the father of her children, Jolie, 6, and Jace, 3.

In the post marking her one-year anniversary of filing to end their marriage, Kramer shared a photo of herself crying. “This photo isn't tears of sadness … it's tears of joy that I'm here stronger…even though yes at times I feel sad and I have hard days but that's the joy of healing,” she explained in the caption. “My therapist challenged me to do something this week and though it was hard, damn did it help.”

Kramer detailed writing down her grudges and burdens on rocks and putting them in a bowl of water. “It was heavy. [The therapist] said, ‘That's what you're carrying. Imagine if you let that go.’ 😭,” she wrote. “I told her a part of holding onto it felt safe. But that I was ready to let it go.”

The One Tree Hill alum’s counselor gave her the materials and instructed her to put them back into nature, and Kramer left the rocks and water in a stream to symbolize letting everything go.

The Holiday Fix Up star added that the last year has been full of healing and learning. “What I've learned the most is that I'm still on the journey of healing and that's okay,” she revealed. “I also learned it's a beautiful thing when you allow yourself to move on, get up and believe that God has a bigger plan for you.”

Since her divorce was finalized in July 2021, the Nashville resident has returned to the dating scene. She met boyfriend Ian Schinelli at a mutual friend’s party that October and confirmed in January that they were dating.

In her Wednesday post, Kramer wanted her followers to know that the same was possible for them, sharing a message of hope for anyone going through a tough time: “The strength inside of me fires my soul each day and I cry tears of happiness to remember just how far I've come. And just how strong I am. And that I'm enough. And so are you. I promise If you're in a season where you feel like you can't get up … in one year you will feel stronger.”

She concluded, “When I sat out there today I asked God to tell me something. What I heard … ‘Your story isn't over.’ And I felt that to my core. Lots have changed the last year but what doesn't change is my willingness to learn, lean into love and not give up on my story because it's just starting.”

“The bucket… or the baby fist-bump???” the official Twitter account for the NBA captioned a clip on Tuesday, April 19. In the adorable video, Booker, 25, ended the first quarter of the Suns vs. Pelicans game on Tuesday by coming back into the stands to fist bump a toddler.

The basketball player also received support from his girlfriend, Kendall Jenner, who filmed the game from the arena that same night. Booker’s sweet moment comes after Kendall, 26, joked that Kris Jenner is growing impatient with her plans for motherhood.

"[My mom] will just randomly text me and be like, ‘I think it’s time,’ and I’m like, ‘Is this not up to me?!'" the model told E! News on April 11, with Kris, 66, chiming in, "Just your friendly reminder!"

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this month, Kendall gushed about getting to watch her boyfriend on the basketball court. "I watch every game unless I have — last night, I had a dinner, but all my friends and family know that I, like, sit with my phone [in front of me] wherever I am with the game on," she shared.

Kendall and Booker first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted together in April 2020. Four months later, Us Weekly confirmed that the couple were "still seeing each other." A second source exclusively told Us at the time, “It's easy because they get along well and he also gets along great with her family."

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum has previously opened up about when she chooses to share her relationships with the public.

"I'm very young and right now I feel like relationships aren't always super-certain and I don't want to bring too much attention to something if you don't really know long term [what it's going to be],” the California native told Vogue in May 2019. “A relationship is only meant to be between two people, and the second you make it the world's business is when it starts messing with the two people mentally. Like once everyone is let in, you're letting all these opinions into your relationships, and I don't think that's fair."

The Michigan native, for his part, recently noted that it hasn’t been “hard” for him to be public about his dating life. “Honestly, I’m enjoying life to the fullest, and that came off my tongue so easily because it wasn’t always this way, but I feel like I’m in a good place right now,” he told WSJ. Magazine last month. “I love my family, I love the people around me, and I love the impact that I get to have on this world, the younger generation under me and the kids who look up to me.”

That same month, another insider revealed that the pair are “very much in love” but are not in “any rush” to get married. “Their relationship works very well because they have that work [and] life balance,” the source said to Us, noting that the pair are “very supportive of each other’s careers” while enjoying their “quality time together.”

The rapper, 33, was reportedly taken into custody on Wednesday, April 20, after flying home from Barbados, where he and the pregnant singer, 34, were enjoying a trip, per TMZ. Us Weekly has reached out to Rocky’s representatives.

In a statement shared via Twitter, The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that they had made an arrest in connection with a shooting that took place earlier in November 2021. “The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Rakim Mayers, a Los Angeles resident, better known as music artist ASAP Rocky,” the statement read. According to the LAPD, Rocky allegedly got into an argument with an “acquaintance” in Hollywood and when things escalated, he reportedly fired a handgun at the victim, who “sustained a minor injury.” He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

The AWGE founder was previously charged with attempted murder when he was just 16 after a bully attempted to intimidate him when he was a drug dealer in his hometown of Harlem, New York. “He tried to come at me in front of some ladies. And I was little. He was a little bit older than me,” Rocky recalled during an October 2019 appearance on Angie Martinez‘s series, The Untold Stories of Hip Hop. He confessed to shooting the other man during a confrontation when he believed that his bully was reaching for a gun of his own. He served some time in jail before the charges were reduced.

In July 2019, the “Sundress” performer was arrested for assault in Stockholm, Sweden, after he and his entourage got into an altercation with a man named Mustafa Jafari. He was convicted of assault in August of that year and given a suspended prison sentence and was required to pay a fine of $1,270 in damages.

Rocky’s latest arrest is another controversy that he and Rihanna have weathered during her pregnancy. Earlier this month, the musician was accused of cheating on the “Work” singer with Fenty designer Amina Muaddi, who denied the allegations on Friday, April 15.

“I've always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn't deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile," Muaddi wrote via her Instagram Story. "I initially assumed that this fake gossip — fabricated with such malicious intent — would not be taken seriously. However, in the last 24h I've been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off limits. Not even during what should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated times in one's life."

Us first reported that Rihanna and Rocky were “hooking up” in February 2020 and he confirmed the romance in May of that year. "[It's] so much better when you got The One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones," Rocky told GQ at the time, describing Rihanna as “the love of my life.” The couple announced earlier this year that they are expecting their first child together.

This Is Us’ Chrissy Metz and More Stars Gush Over Their Beloved Pets

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 09:48 AM PDT

From glamour to fame, stars have may seem to have everything they could ever want. However, sometimes all they need is their faithful pet.

Danica Patrick, Serena Williams, Nina Dobrev and more celebs just can't get enough of their dogs.

"I call her the world's chillest dog," the Vampire Diaries alum gushed over her puppy Maverick during a Harper's Bazaar interview in August 2017. "She rescued me as much as I rescued her. I was so lost after [my cat] Lynx passed, but Maverick brought me back to life."

Dobrev, who named her pooch after Tom Cruise's Top Gun character, has frequently shared cute snaps of Maverick on social media as they cuddle together or complete a joint workout session. The Love Hard actress even set up an Instagram account for Maverick.

"Moms. They sure know how to get on your nerves, but they feed you, so you gotta love em," a May 2021 caption on Maverick's account read alongside a selfie with the Fam alum.

Dobrev isn't the only star to love on her four-legged friend. The former NASCAR racer is also a faithful dog mom to her two furry companions.

"I'm a worried dog mom. I'm really worried about the dogs all the time," Patrick admitted during a November 2015 interview with Dogster Magazine about her pets, Dallas and Ella. "I'm always making sure they're both OK."

The Wisconsin native added at the time: "Ella will follow me even if I just take five steps somewhere. She gets up to follow me. I'm sure some day she will learn that she doesn't have to, but for now she follows me like a puppy. Ella was kind of just one of those things where I was going to take her to play with Dallas for a couple nights, and of course when you love dogs … I never brought her back."

Tarek El Moussa, for his part, surprised his kids, Taylor and Brayden — whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Haack — with a new puppy in August 2021 ahead of his nuptials to Heather Rae El Moussa (née Young). Their pug, named Bugz, was given to the children to help teach them vital responsibility skills.

"Teaching Mr. handsome how to care for Bugz and how to protect her. This is something Heather and I thought a lot about," the Flip or Flop star wrote via Instagram at the time. "We knew getting a puppy would be a lot but we also thought that it could teach the kids what it's like to have some new responsibilities and we loved the idea of having a new baby in the family to take care of. Bray has the biggest heart and he's about to turn 6 years old so he's a big boy now 😆 but got to teach them while they're young, right!?"

Buckingham Palace tells Us that the monarch made her way to Norfolk, England, from her Windsor Castle residence on Wednesday, April 20, one day before her birthday. “The Queen will be spending her birthday privately,” the palace adds.

Elizabeth’s decision may be a nod to her late husband, Prince Philip, who died at the same country estate in April 2021 at age 99. The pair were married for more than seven decades before Philip passed away. Last year, an insider told Us that the queen’s birthday celebration was more “somber” in the wake of her loss.

“She’s grieving the loss of her beloved husband, Prince Philip, and spent the day with her corgis,” the source noted at the time. “She spoke to family members who are rallying together to keep her company. … Prince Philip's passing has hit the queen harder than expected, but she’s remaining calm and collected.”

While reflecting on turning 95, the long-reigning royal thanked those around the world who wished her well after Philip’s death. “While as a family we are in a period of great sadness, it has been a comfort to us all to see and to hear the tributes paid to my husband, from those within the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and around the world,” she wrote in a statement shared via the royal family’s Instagram account in April 2021. “My family and I would like to thank you for all the support and kindness shown to us in recent days. We have been deeply touched, and continue to be reminded that Philip had such an extraordinary impact on countless people throughout his life.”

How the Younger Royals Have Honored Princess Diana

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 09:47 AM PDT

It's been more than 20 years since Princess Diana's death, but her memory lives on through her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry; their wives, Duchess Kate and Meghan Markle; and even their children, Diana's five grandchildren.

Harry and William shared memories of their famous mom in the 2017 HBO documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy. "To myself and William, she was just the best mother ever," Harry said. "She would just engulf you and squeeze you as tight as possible — and being as short as I was then, there was no escape, you were there and you were there for as long as she wanted to hold you."

"Even talking about it now, I can feel the hugs she used to give us," he added. "I miss that. I miss that feeling, I miss that part of a family, I miss having that mother to be able to give you those hugs and give you that compassion that I think everybody needs."

As he and Harry looked at old photos of the Princess of Wales, who died at age 36 in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997, William explained that he and Kate talk about Diana with their kids, Prince George, Prince Charlotte and Prince Louis. "We've got more photos up around the house of her, and we talk about her a bit and stuff," he said. "And it's hard because obviously Catherine didn't know her, so she cannot really provide that level of detail. So I do regularly, putting George and Charlotte to bed, talk about her, and just try to remind them that there are two grandmothers — there were two grandmothers in their lives. And it's important they know who she was and that she existed."

In memory of Diana, scroll down to see 12 ways Harry, Kate, William, and Meghan have honored the People's Princess in the past decade.

There's a lot of special detail and love that went into that book." Shutterstock
Sharing Memories

It has been over the last two years — more so than ever before.” The BetterUp CIO went on to say that he feels like his mother has been "watching over" him in his early years of parenthood. "It’s almost as though she’s done her bit with with my brother and now she’s very much back to helping me," he explained. "Got him set up, now she’s helping me set up. That’s what it feels like, you know? He has his kids. I’ve got my kids. You know, circumstances are obviously different. But I feel her presence in almost everything that I do now." RHOP's Ashley and Michael Darby's Timeline: Prenup, Cheating Scandals

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 09:42 AM PDT

It's safe to say Ashley Darby and Michael Darby's relationship made waves on Bravo since the debut of The Real Housewives of Potomac.

The Maryland-based franchise premiered in 2016, less than two years into Ashley's marriage to Michael. Her costars were quick to question their union as Ashley is 29 years younger than her spouse. On season 2 of the series, the couple struggled to navigate opening their restaurant Oz.

“Michael and I do have this age difference. He’s 29 years older than me. And he has so much business experience that I think that he kind of forgets that I don’t necessarily have all those years," Ashley told The Daily Dish in 2017. "And so, he has these expectations of me to be this strong, confident, self-assured businesswoman when really I’m still navigating the ropes. I’m still learning as I go. And yes, I’m definitely going to make some mistakes. So stepping into this role of being responsible for people’s livelihoods and having budgets with a lot more zeroes on them has been a learning experience for me, to say the least, so it does cause some issues for Michael and me and really made us think about why we were doing this. We didn’t do this restaurant to tear ourselves apart; we did it to bring us together."

During the season 2 reunion of RHOP, which aired in July 2017, Ashley revealed she had moved out of her home with Michael as they spent time apart. "She's in her 20s," Michael said during the episode. "She's feeling out who she is going into her evolving life and future. And I'm at my age, coming through the end of my career, looking to all kinds of things that are very different from some of the things I am looking for."

Months after their initial separation, the twosome reconciled and went on to welcome two sons, Dean (born in July 2019) and Dylan (March 2021). Things were hardly smooth sailing, however, as Ashley admitted to the duo having an unconventional marriage and Michael was accused of sexually harassing a Bravo cameraman, which he denied.

The duo officially called it quits ahead of the premiere of season 7 of RHOP, with Ashely announcing they had split after "almost 8 magical years" of marriage.

"We have decided to separate. We are aware that there will be many speculative views as to why we have made this decision," she said in a statement in April 2022. "People will be quick to assume that the causes were too much intrusion by reality TV into the most personal parts of our lives, age gap issues, cultural problems, or child-rearing differences. Pieces of all these may have affected our pure love for each other, but no one reason is the root cause of our mutual decision to go our separate ways."

In between filming seasons 2 and 3, Ashley moved into an apartment in Arlington, Virginia. As they worked through their issues — and ran Oz — she held out hope that they would reunite. “He’s my person,” Ashley told People in July 2017. “We’re taking the time to evaluate exactly what we expect from our relationship and if both of us can give each other what we need. We still really care about each other, so the foundation is there. It’s just a matter of repairing some of the faults in the foundation.” They reunited by the end of the year. News broke in September 2018 that Michael was suspended from RHOP after a crew member accused the former restaurant owner of groping him. “There were a number of alleged witnesses who said it did not happen. The peace order request by the alleged victim was also denied. There was simply nothing that happened, and nothing here,” Michael’s attorney, Mike Rowan, said in a statement at the time. The misdemeanor charges were dropped due o “insufficient evidence” that October, but the that didn’t stop the scandal from playing out on the reality show.   Larry French/Bravo

Ashley shut down speculation about Michael’s sexuality during season 4. “I just don’t understand why everyone is so fixated on trying to make Michael look like he’s gay. He’s not gay. … He doesn’t hook up with guys,” she said, denying that Michael made a comment about wanting to hookup with a man. Courtesy of Ashley Darby/Instagram

During the season 4 reunion of RHOP, Michael denied the cameraman’s allegations of sexual misconduct again. Robyn Dixon subsequently claimed during the September 2019 special that she’d heard Michael had “grabbed a couple of our producer’s butts as well” during season 1. Michael denied the allegations. Karen Huger’s husband, Ray Huger, then alleged that he witnessed Michael “grab” Andy Cohen’s “butt at the reunion” the year prior, but the pair were “kidding around.” Michael called that comment an “unfounded accusation,” while the host said that he didn’t “remember” Michael grabbing him. Cohen added: “I’m sure I was fine with it. The show went well, I love you guys.” Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

After footage of Michael with another woman surfaced in May 2019 and Candiace Dillard alleged during a September 2020 episode that Michael was spotted at a strip club, Ashley explained details of their nontraditional marriage. “Strangely, Michael venturing out the way he did has allowed me to finally be expressive about how we have done this together, and it’s a big relief,” she said on the RHOP aftershow in November 2020. “I’ve made jokes and I’ve referenced it in the past to the women. Either they didn’t take me seriously, or they were just like, ‘Ah, that Ashley!’ But now that this has happened with Michael, they want more details.” Courtesy of Ashley Darby/Instagram

It was revealed on season 5 of RHOP that Michael and Ashley had a prenup that “expired after five years of marriage.” She explained her desire to look into a postnuptial agreement during a September 2020 episode. “Now, in the event of a divorce, I will receive 50 percent of our assets,” she said in a confessional. “And now, I think it would be good for us to have a postnuptial agreement because a postnup would outline things that I would be guaranteed to get — no arguing, no disputing — and essentially would speed up the process in the event of a divorce.”   Courtesy of Ashley Darby/Instagram

As season 6 of RHOP was airing, the twosome were plagued with cheating rumors again. “Both Ashley and I go out. Sometimes we go out together; sometimes we go on our own, and so I went out and had a good time,” he said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in August 2021. “Of course, there’s fans all over the place and they came up and said hello. But you know, I’m always going to have pictures taken of me in places — I really don’t care anymore. I have a good time, and I love this woman dearly. And we’re together forever.” Ashley added at the time: “We are doing things differently this time postpartum, and we’re having more fun this time than we did last time. So I think I’m keeping him happy at home." Courtesy of Ashley Darby/Instagram

Ashley confirmed their split in April 2022 after an insider told Us Weekly that she “was going around saying that her marriage is ending, and she’s about to be on the dating market” at costar Karen’s RHOP: Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion premiere party. “We are now both at very different stages in our lives and have different goals for our futures. We both want the other to achieve true happiness and fulfillment and feel that we cannot do this together,” she said in a statement. “We also know that true happiness can only be achieved by continuing to work together and putting our hearts and souls into raising our two beautiful boys, Dean and Dylan. They will always feel loved and supported, for they were truly created out of love. As this is a personal matter for us, we appreciate everyone who has been a part of our journey and ask for your continued support by respecting us as we go through this emotional situation.” Charles Sykes/Bravo

Cheryl Burke Says She Has 'Little Control' Over Life Amid Matthew Split

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 09:18 AM PDT

Figuring out her future. Amid her split from Matthew Lawrence, Cheryl Burke has gotten honest about the steps she is taking to work on herself.

Burke originally sparked romance rumors with the Brotherly Love alum after his older brother, Joey Lawrence, was a contestant on season 3 of Dancing With the Stars. The couple dated from 2007 to 2008 before giving their romance another try in 2017.

After nearly three years of marriage, Us Weekly confirmed that Burke filed for divorce from Lawrence in February 2022. According to legal documents obtained by Us, the professional dancer listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and included January 7 as their date of separation.

The ABC personality addressed the major life change that same month, writing via Instagram, “I know I have always said I’m an open book with you guys, I do strive to be, and in writing this I’ve realized there really isn’t an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending. I hope you can understand that I will not be commenting any further at this time and am asking for understanding and privacy. Thank you all for all the kind words and support you’ve given me.”

At the time, a source exclusively told Us that the former couple’s divorce "was not about kids,” adding, “Cheryl’s taking this time to focus on next steps and focus on her mental health.”

Matthew, who has not commented on the split publicly, previously discussed the pair’s plans to become parents. “We’re just waiting to see what happens because I think we were going to move, we were going to start that next journey,” he told Us in April 2020. “But everything’s a little bit on pause right now. When this starts to clear out, I think we’ll have a better view or understanding.”

The Melissa & Joey alum also noted how “constant communication” helped make his marriage work. “When you stop that communication and when you don’t try every day is when things start to slowly fall apart,” the Pennsylvania native added. “I think that’s really important.”

Scroll down for everything Burke has said about the next chapter in her life:

Time to Herself
"Taking a few days alone to focus inward, reflect and really try to feel my feelings - with my partner in crime of course ♥️," the ballroom pro wrote via Instagram in February 2022. In the social media snaps, Burke was at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego — the same place she and Lawrence tied the knot in May 2019.   The California native later updated her followers, writing via her Instagram Story, "Some quiet time alone with this girl is just what I needed. Thank you for being my home away from home @fairmontgranddelmar." AFF-USA/Shutterstock
Putting in the Work
In March 2022, Burke credited a "somatic intelligence" program with helping "feel [her] feelings for the first time" in a while. "It has been an interesting journey so far, to say the least. It's been scary because I'm so used to pushing through because of my athleticism and dancing in general. As a competitor, you learn to push forward even if it hurts, which means you're not listening to your actual body," she detailed in an Instagram video. "It has been very uplifting but very sad at the same time, just to really be able to take your mind out of everything and listen to your body." For Burke, taking an "initiative" to "not judge" herself opened several doors amid her personal journey. "Feeling where the trauma is being held. A lot of past trauma has been coming up from my dad's death to the abuse that I've endured throughout the years. But I guess you could say I've never really felt my feelings before. I've just pushed through," she noted. "[It] may seem scary, but it really is worth it in the long run." Shutterstock (2)
Finding Herself
In a lengthy Instagram post, Burke addressed her plans for the future. "I've realized that whenever I am at a point in my life where I have some big emotions to process, the best thing for me to do is to spend some time alone — other than being with [my dog] Ysa of course, but I truly feel like she is a part of me, so she doesn't count," the Dance Moms alum wrote. "If I'm being honest, really feeling my feelings is new to me." Burke also opened up about feeling "numb" most of her life when it came to her emotions. "There's the obvious reason it's hard — that the emotions I'm experiencing right now are complicated and aren't exactly happy," she added. "But the less obvious reason is that I'm realizing I have a tendency to judge my own feelings and if I'm with other people, that magnifies. I get so focused on other people's perception of how I'm dealing with my emotions — which then in turn leads me to question if I am feeling things the 'right way.'" Offering an Update
"It has been a hell of a ride, I guess you could say. Transcendental meditation has really helped on the journey of feeling my feelings," Burke shared while discussing her "tough" time in a March 2022 Instagram video. "I am very vulnerable at this time, and I think that is what TM brings out in you — as well as the therapy that I am in. It definitely has opened up my heart and I now have to learn to give myself grace and not judge my feelings." She continued: "It's just been a lot and I realized that I have thrown temper tantrums at myself like a kid. But I have also realized that for it just shows that I am growing and that I am open to feeling instead of trying to push it down." Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

Keeping it casual. Kelly Clarkson is having a milestone birthday this year, but she’s not interested in going all out.

'American Idol' Winners: Where Are They Now?

“I am literally so low-key,” the “Because of You” songstress, 39, told E! News on Tuesday, April 18. “I know it’s my big 4-0, but I’ve had a crazy two years, so I just wanted a chill birthday.”

The Grammy winner’s big day is Sunday, April 24, but she and her friends aren’t planning a massive party or an elaborate getaway. “I’m going hiking with my friends, and that’s it, y’all,” she explained. “And we’re doing a dinner with my band, so that’s it.”

Clarkson didn’t elaborate on what made her past two years so “crazy,” but fans know that the American Idol winner has dealt with a lot in both her personal and professional life. Last month, the American Song Contest cohost settled with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock nearly two years after filing for divorce.

A judge declared Clarkson legally single in September 2021, but she and the music manager, 45, continued battling over custody and their assets for several more months. The duo, who tied the knot in October 2013, share daughter River, 7, and son Remington, 6.

Per the terms of the divorce settlement, the Voice judge will have primary custody of the former couple’s little ones. If Blackstock moves away from Montana, where he is living at the ranch the pair shared during their marriage, then the custody arrangement will be reevaluated.

A judge also ruled that Blackstock can only live at the ranch through June 1, and he must pay his ex-wife $12,500 per month in rent. Clarkson, for her part, was ordered to pay the talent manager a one-time amount of $1.3 million in addition to $45,600 per month in child support. She will also pay her ex-husband $115,000 per month in spousal support until 2024.

The pop star is keeping busy on the business side as well. Her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, is set to take over the time slot of The Ellen DeGeneres Show when Ellen DeGeneres wraps up next month after 19 seasons. In March, an insider told Us Weekly that Clarkson is planning a revamp of her series in preparation for the switch.

"She will be taking a few weeks off to take the kids on vacation, but will be focused on complete overhaul of her show as she takes over for Ellen," the source explained.

The current format of the Emmy-winning talk show involves the "Miss Independent" singer interviewing celebrity guests, meeting non-famous people with interesting stories, covering hit songs and playing games. In December 2020, the show, currently in its third season, was renewed until 2023.

Clarkson is also in the midst of hosting American Song Contest with Snoop Dogg. The NBC series is based on the Eurovision Song Contest, and it follows contestants from all 50 states as they compete for the title of Best Original Song. Ahead of the show’s premiere, the reality star explained that she likes the competition aspect of the series, but she also just wants to show support for the competitors.

"We love people so much and while we are very musical, we are also very fun‑loving and easygoing with everyone,” Clarkson told Billboard of herself and the rapper, 50, in March. “We are going to be so passionate about it and involved in it and, like, hardcore into these artists. I think people need that. They need to be lifted up because the world is heavy right now.”

“Sometimes I ask my self [sic] what it is that I should be doing with my life and what I always hear in return is ‘to tell the truth, to be the truth,'” the 23-year-old singer wrote in a statement shared via Twitter on Tuesday, April 19. “I feel like that’s a hard thing to do though. I’m afraid that if people know and see the truth they might think less of me. They might become bored of me.”

Mendes explained that when he feels “low,” he chooses one of two options. “I either put on a show or hide,” he continued. “The truth, in current form is a 23 year old who constantly feels like he’s either flying or drowning. Maybe that’s just what it is to be in your 20’s idk, or maybe that’s just me. The truth is I really do wanna show up in the world as my 100% true honest unique self and not care what anyone thinks, sometimes I do!! Sometimes I really don’t care what people think and I feel free. Most of the time its [sic] a struggle [though]. That’s the truth.”

The “Stitches” crooner reflected on the highs and lows that come along with his life in the spotlight. “The truth is even with so much success I still find it hard to feel like I’m not failing. [I’m] hyper focused on what I don’t have, forgetting to see all that I do,” he mused. “The truth is I’m overwhelmed and overstimulated lol.”

As he concluded, the Canadian pop star said he hoped his message “might resonate with some people,” adding, “The truth is ALSO that I’m okay. I’m just tryna tell and be the truth.”

In a separate tweet, Mendes reassured his followers, “I’m honestly so okay! I just wanna communicate with you guys in a real honest way. so I just typed I big old note out for you lol.”

The “Treat You Better” artist wrote, “And I guess I’m like damn if I’m feeling this with all of the blessings I have I imagine there must be so many people feeling this and just don’t want them to feel alone !!”

Since his rise to stardom, Mendes has been candid about his mental health battles, noting in April 2020 that the coronavirus pandemic reminded him how important it was to acknowledge even the most challenging feelings. “Don’t be frustrated with yourself if you feel trapped or stressed,” he wrote in an op-ed for TIME magazine. “This is a hard time for everyone and you deserve patience from yourself. My emotions have been all over the place … some days I’m O.K., and others it’s scary.”

At the time, Mendes was dating Camila Cabello. The musicians announced their breakup in November 2021 after two years of dating and have since opened up about what led to their split. Both the Grammy nominee and the Cinderella actress, 25, have processed the end of their relationship through songwriting.

“My priorities have fluctuated and my focus has changed throughout my life. Those years that we were dating … even while I was writing this album, [Familia], and even still now, I guess my focus is really on, ‘How can I be a well-rounded person?'” Cabello said during a March 2022 interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “For me, I love Shawn and I feel like there is literally nothing but love for him.”

Mendes, for his part, penned his single “When You’re Gone” one month after he and the X Factor alum called it quits. “Camila and I have always been writers for as long as we’ve known each other, so we understand what that means,” Mendes told Extra earlier this month. “And we respect what that means. And there’ll always be transparency between us.”

Prince Harry: Queen and I Talk About 'Things That She Can't' Tell Other People

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 07:45 AM PDT

Prince Harry's bond with Queen Elizabeth II has remained strong through the years, despite his decision to step away from his senior position within the royal family along with his wife, Meghan Markle.

Despite reports that Harry “blindsided” his grandmother, the prince turned that down during a March 2021 interview on CBS. “I have too much respect for her,” he shared at the time, noting that they discussed the exit three different times before it became public information.

"I've spoken more to my grandmother in the last year than I have done for many, many years," he said during the interview, adding that they’ve Zoomed with her so she could see her grandson Archie. “My grandmother and I have a really good relationship and an understanding. And I have a deep respect for her. She's my Colonel-in-chief, right? She always will be.”

Last year, Prince Charles' former butler, Grant Harrold, spoke about the queen's "very special relationship" with her grandson in a Quest Red royal documentary. Harrold said that the queen is able to "let her guard down a bit with" Harry.

"Sometimes, I wonder if maybe he reminds the Queen a little bit of [her husband] Prince Philip," Harrold continued. "You know, with that wonderful, let's say, the kind of glint in his eye."

Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl gave an inside look at Harry's relationship with Queen Elizabeth in her 2010 book, William and Harry: Behind the Palace Walls. Nicholl revealed that the monarch has been "on the receiving end" of Harry's pranks. She was informed about a prank Harry pulled that involved changing her voicemail recording, giving the queen's private secretary Robin Janvrin the "shock of his life."

Harry, who Nicholl described as "more troublesome" than his brother, Prince William, said in the recorded voice message: "Hey, wassup? This is Liz! Sorry, I'm away from the throne. For a hotline to Philip, press one, for Charles press two, for the corgis, press three."

In the 2016 ITV documentary, Our Queen at Ninety, Harry praised the queen for her work over the years. "I look at the Commonwealth and think, 'Look how much it's achieved,'" he said at the time. "She should be incredibly proud of what she's led and what she's achieved and what she's created amongst a huge amount of people from different ethnic backgrounds, different skin colors, different experiences, different islands — whatever it be. Hats off to her, it’s incredible."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced via Instagram on January 8, 2020, that they planned to step down as senior members of the British royal family and "become financially independent." The parents of Archie revealed they have chosen to "carve out a progressive new role" for themselves after "many months of reflection and internal discussions."

In the wake of the pair's joint statement, a source told Us Weekly exclusively that their announcement was made "without the official blessing" of the queen. "It's not that they didn't care — it was a miscommunication," the insider added. Still, Harry and his grandmother have had love and laughs over the years.

Despite the family drama, Harry returned to the U.K. after Philip died in April 2021 and the prince spent time with his grandmother on at least two different occasions during the visit. While he left before her 95th birthday — which came days after the funeral — Elizabeth knew Harry was thinking of her.

"Prince Harry got to say goodbye to the queen before her birthday and he left her a gift and card from him and Meghan," a source told Us at the time.

Aaron Paul Asks Bryan Cranston to Be Son Rydin’s Godfather: ‘No-Brainer’

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 07:36 AM PDT

A star is born… and another star celebrates! Over the years, many celebrities have named their famous friends as godparents of their children — and those lucky enough to grow up with an iconic godparent know that the bond is hard to break.

Jennifer Aniston was named godmother of Courteney Cox's daughter, Coco, in 2004. The famous kiddo, who Cox shares with her ex-husband, David Arquette, was born one month after the Friends season 10 finale.

"Happy birthday my sweet Cocolicious!" Aniston captioned an Instagram Story to celebrate Coco's 17th birthday in June 2021 — showing that the longtime bond is stronger than ever.

Garrett Hedlund also chose a former costar as the godfather of his first child, Rhodes, whom he shares with Emma Roberts. When making his choice, the Minnesota native chose someone he considered a father-figure himself: Tim McGraw, who played his dad in the 2004 movie Friday Night Lights.

"He's somebody that I admire and respect, not only as an amazing father and an amazing husband [but as an] amazing musician and amazing actor," Hedlund, who also worked with McGraw on 2011's Country Strong, said during a February 2021 episode of the Kelly Clarkson Show. "I got to first experience him as a father — in that film, somewhat more of an abusive one — but then we did Country Strong together, and we've remained such close friends."

There are also many grown-up stars who've long had famous figures in their lives. Iconic filmmaker Steven Spielberg counts both Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow as his goddaughters.

"Your life is crazy. Has he documented any moments of your life, and do they look epic?" Kelly Clarkson asked the Goop owner during a March interview while talking about her famous godfather.

After the It’s All Good author revealed the Jaws director was the only one to take any videos at her September 2018 wedding to Brad Falchuk, the singer had a follow-up question.

"You had a great wedding videographer. Did he charge you?" she asked Paltrow, who giggled in response.

Barrymore has a close bond with Spielberg as well, having noted that the producer's advice has carried her through her career. The pair met when the talk show host acted in his film E.T. at age 6.

“Steven told me, ‘Don’t act your characters. Be your characters,” Barrymore told The New York Times in 2014. "Once I got older and kept continuing acting, I don’t know if I would have succeeded without that advice, because that’s the thing that saved me. I’m not an actor, I’m a pretender.”

"It was so incredible. We became even closer than we had been. ... Every day [I] would make bread and I would walk it over to her window. And she'd say, 'Put it over there,' show up at the window and I'd give her bread. That was basically what I did." Not so fast! Joe Alwyn addressed speculation that he secretly got engaged to Taylor Swift — but he kept his response relativity open-ended.

“If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins,” Alwyn, 31, joked during an interview with WSJ. Magazine published on Wednesday, April 20. “I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say.”

The Conversations With Friends star also discussed the role social media plays when it comes to keeping his personal life private, saying, “We live in a culture that people expect so much to be given. So that if you’re not posting all the time about what you’re doing, how you’re spending a day or how you made a breakfast, does that make you a recluse?”

Earlier this month, Alwyn elaborated on his and Swift’s decision to keep details of their love life under wraps. “It’s not really [because I] want to be guarded and private, it’s more a response to something else,” the British actor told Elle on Friday, April 15. “We live in a culture that is so increasingly intrusive … the more you give — and frankly, even if you don’t give it — something will be taken.”

Swift, 32, and Alwyn were first linked in May 2017, and the pair have remained tight-lipped about their relationship over the years. A source previously told Us Weekly that the couple "definitely" want to get married some day.

"[They] have talked about their future and marriage. They don't have a set deadline in place, but they're very much in love,” the insider exclusively revealed in March 2020. According to the source, the Miss Americana star considers Alwyn to be "one of the only safe constants in her life," while the Harriet actor has "always been a huge support and stuck by her."

Later that year, the singer offered a glimpse at how the pair have collaborated outside of their romantic relationship.

"Joe and I really love sad songs. We’ve always bonded over music," Swift explained during an Apple Music interview in December 2020. "I say it was a surprise that we started writing together, but in a way, it wasn’t because we have always bonded over music and had the same musical tastes. And he’s always the person who’s showing me songs by artists and then they become my favorite songs or whatever.”

The Pennsylvania native reflected on how the COVID-19 quarantine inspired her to work with Alwyn on her Folklore and Evermore albums. "He’s always just playing instruments and he doesn’t do it in a strategic, 'I'm writing a song right now' thing. He’s always done that. But do I think we would have taken the step of, 'Hey, let’s see if there’s a song in here. Let’s write a song together?'” she recalled at the time. “All I have to do is dream up some lyrics and come up with some gut-wrenching, heart-shattering story to write with him."

Celebrity Splits of 2022: Stars Who Broke Up This Year

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 07:05 AM PDT

Calling it quits. It happens all the time, but the world never gets used to seeing celebrity couples break up. Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard were among the stars who made headlines for their splits in 2022.

Us Weekly exclusively revealed in January that the model and the NFL star were "getting divorced," though they were "going to try and remain civil and friendly towards each other."

Divorce documents obtained by Us claimed that the pair were having marital issues as far back as December 2020.

"The parties have experienced irreconcilable differences [and the] differences have caused a break down in the marital relationship," the papers, which were filed in June 2021, read. "Said irreconcilable differences have existed for at least six months prior to the filing [of] this Complaint and there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation."

After Iman and Shepard welcomed daughter Cali in August 2018, he got real about balancing their parenting responsibilities and their relationship. (The duo also share daughter Cassie, whom they welcomed in December 2019.)

"It's honestly tough whenever you put a baby into the situation because you've got to still try to find time for each other and a lot of the focus goes onto the baby," he told Us in August 2019. "So that's the main thing is just me trying to carve out a little time in my schedule and her trying to carve out time in her schedule because we're both pretty busy. That's the toughest thing about it, but we find a way to get through it."

Another split that made news in 2022 was Joe and Bessy Gatto's, though they technically announced it in December 2021. The comedian revealed the separation in an Instagram post that also explained his exit from Impractical Jokers.

"Alongside my friends, I've devoted a decade of my life to building this franchise and couldn't be prouder of what has been accomplished," he wrote on New Year’s Eve in 2021. "However, due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away. Bessy and I have decided to amicably part ways, so now I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids."

Bessy, for her part, addressed the breakup in her own Instagram post. "With love and respect, we have decided to separate. Although we will no longer be a couple, we will always be a family to our beautiful kids and we look forward to co-parenting together," she noted. "We ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate this new chapter together. And of course we will still continue to help animals and rescue dogs, which is something we are both passionate about!"

Julianne Hough Forced to Miss Broadway Performances Due to COVID-19

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 06:50 AM PDT

The pandemic isn’t over. Just as it did in 2020 and 2021, Hollywood’s A-list continues to be affected by COVID-19 in 2022 — but they largely attribute their fast recoveries to vaccines.

In January, Late Night With Seth Meyers only returned from holiday break for one show before suddenly having to go on hiatus amid the omicron variant’s prevalence.

“The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!),” Seth Meyers wrote via Twitter on January 4. “We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!”

Meyers’ fellow NBC late night host Jimmy Fallon revealed a day prior that he’d recently recovered from COVID-19. The Saturday Night Live alum made it clear that he tested negative before returning to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 3.

“Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid,” he captioned a photo via Instagram of himself masked in a room marked “reserved for testing use.” The room was decorated with an iconic Diff’rent Strokes quote, which Fallon appreciated.

He continued, “I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who work so hard around the clock to get everyone vaxxed. Thank you to NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great job – and also thanks for putting me in the ‘What 'chu talkin' about Willis?’ isolation room when they told me the news.”

In the comments section, Fallon told a fan that he completely recovered, writing, “The positive came back on 12/18. Back at work today and feeling 100%!”

The NBC hosts both advocated for vaccination. As of January, the CDC recommended a booster shot for people over age 16 five months after completing the primary series. Meyers and Fallon each had a booster before testing positive.

Similarly, Whoopi Goldberg also had a breakthrough case amid the highly contagious variant’s spread. Her View cohost Joy Behar announced the news on January 3 and said the Sister Act star was expected to be fully recovered within a week.

“Why am I here instead of Whoopi? Well, Whoopi, unfortunately, tested positive over the break, but she’ll be back probably next week,” Behar explained. “Since she’s vaxxed and boosted, her symptoms have been very, very, mild. But we’re being super cautious here at The View.”

The daytime talk show opted to film remotely for the week in the midst of Goldberg’s positive test.

“They say there’s no place like home for the holidays and that’s exactly where we are this year,” Behar said. “Happy New Year from all of our living rooms. As you can see, we’re back in boxes and doing the show remotely — hopefully for just a week. I’m praying that it’s just a week, but you never know because this omicron thing is all over the place.”

Prince Harry Calls U.S. Home After Royal Exit: I Feel 'Massively at Peace'

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 06:07 AM PDT

Settling in. Prince Harry got honest about his life with Meghan Markle in the United States two years after their exit from their senior royal duties — and he made it clear that he has no regrets.

“Home for me now is, for the time being, is in the States and it feels that way, as well,” the 37-year-old Invictus Games founder said during his Wednesday, April 20, interview with Today‘s Hoda Kotb. “We’ve been welcomed with open arms and have such a great community in Santa Barbara, [California].”

When asked whether it felt odd to say that he’s more comfortable on the West Coast than in his native London, Harry replied, “No. … But I’m sure it’ll become a thing.”

The Duke of Sussex and the Suits alum, 40, relocated to the U.S. in early 2020 after announcing their plans to step back from the royal spotlight. Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that the couple, who share son Archie, 2, and daughter Lilibet, 10 months, paid a visit to Queen Elizabeth II on their way to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games.

“Both Meghan and I had tea with her. It was really nice to catch up with her,” Harry gushed on Wednesday, adding that the monarch was in “great form” ahead of her milestone 96th birthday, which she’ll celebrate on Thursday, April 21.

The meeting marked the first time that the Bench author returned to the U.K. since leaving the palace, but Harry has visited on several occasions, including the April 2021 funeral of the late Prince Philip. However, a source exclusively told Us Prince William and Duchess Kate “were not in attendance” during Harry and Meghan’s recent Windsor Castle visit.

“It was purely coincidental,” the insider said of the brothers’ missed connection. “Harry is coming back to visit soon and hopes to see William in person. They are trying to figure things out. … Harry and Meghan had a wonderful time seeing the queen again. It was one of the biggest highlights of their year so far.”

Since their exit, which was made permanent in February 2021, the Archewell cofounders haven’t always seen eye to eye with Harry’s relatives across the pond. While they’re happy to have their fresh start, the transition out of their senior roles came with plenty of challenges.

“I don’t know how many people feel truly peaceful, you know? At times, I feel massively at peace,” Harry confessed on Today. “But with everything that’s going on in the world and trying to help and use the platform … I think the biggest concern or the biggest issue that people wrestle with on a daily basis is the [sense of] helplessness.”

Returning to his work with the Invictus Games has offered inspiration. “We as human beings are compassionate people,” he continued. “But when your life becomes really hard, it can be, for some, harder to find compassion for other people. What I’ve learned over the years, certainly for myself, is that I find healing through helping other people.”

Invictus Games Legacy
When Kotb asked how it feels when veterans competing in the event — and their families — confess that the Games "saved" them during their hardest moments, Harry noted, "It feels amazing that we managed to play a part in their recovery, but it also makes me incredibly sad [to know] how dark it was for them." His Relationship With the Queen
Harry revealed that his favorite thing about his grandmother is "her sense of humor and her ability to see humor" in every situation. "We have a really special relationship," he gushed, adding that he isn't sure whether he'll be able to attend the queen's upcoming Platinum Jubilee. "We talk about things that she can't talk about with anybody else." Shutterstock; Geoff Pugh/Newscom/MEGA
Missing His Family
"Especially over the last two years, for most people, have they not missed their family? ... I mean, for me, in the moment, I'm here [at the Games] with these guys, [the veterans] and their families," he said, seemingly dodging a question about tension between him and his family. Continuing to Serve
"I think the focus is very much the same, certainly, from my wife's point of view," he told Kotb of his and Meghan's vision for their charitable work. "The two of us, you know, this is a life that she signed up for and that we were committed to doing as a couple forever. Because of the circumstances, we've now moved that life of service to the States ... [but] nothing's changed for us. It's just a little bit more complicated to have to restart." Shutterstock
His Fatherhood Moments
"What's a Wednesday like? It revolves around the kids as much as humanly possible. This whole working from home stuff is not all it's cracked up to be," he teased. "When your kids and you are in the same place, it's really hard to separate work from them because they kind of overlap. I mean, Archie spends more time interrupting our Zoom calls than anybody else." Harry continued: "There's so much to be happy about in the outside world, but there's also so much to worry about. My sort of mantra now every day... is trying to make the world a better place for my kids because otherwise what's the point of bringing kids into this world?" Shutterstock
Feeling Diana’s Presence
Harry described his late mother's presence as a "constant" in his life following her 1997 death. "It has been over the last two years, more so than ever before," he continued. "It's almost as if she's done her bit with my brother and now she's very much helping me. ... He's got his kids, I've got my kids. The circumstances are obviously different, but I feel her presence almost daily. ... She's watching over us." When asked whether he's spoken to Archie about Diana, the duke replied, "Very much so. I don't tell him all the stuff that happened but certainly, 'This is Grandma Diana,' and we've got pictures up in the house." Tim Rooke/Shutterstock; Shutterstock

Amanda Bynes Is 'Committed' to Fiance Paul Michael: 'He's the Man for Her'

Posted: 20 Apr 2022 05:05 AM PDT

Amanda Bynes and Paul Michael have experienced their fair share of ups and downs since first taking their relationship public in February 2020.

The actress shocked fans at the time when she announced that she was engaged to Michael, given that she kept her love life out of the spotlight to the extent that many were unaware she was dating anyone.

Issues surrounding Bynes' conservatorship threatened to derail her road to the altar, though. Her mother, Lynn Bynes, has served as her conservator since 2014. "Lynn feels Amanda isn't in any capacity to make any decisions about her care or treatment," a source told Us Weekly exclusively in February 2020. "Lynn will request that Amanda remain in a controlled environment."

Three weeks after sharing their engagement news, Michael revealed that the couple had split. Amanda was subsequently ordered to a mental health treatment center in March 2020. She reportedly refused to check herself in at the time.

Us confirmed in March 2020 that the She's the Man star was expecting her first child with Michael. "Amanda is just barely pregnant and she is very happy," an insider noted.

Amanda was spotted at an OBGYN's office earlier that day. "She seemed excited," an eyewitness told Us of her demeanor while waiting with a friend. "She was dressed casual and keeping a low profile. The lobby was pretty empty so no one bugged her." Michael, meanwhile, was not present for the appointment.

The Amanda Show alum's lawyer confirmed to Us in March 2020 that she was "seeking treatment" for her "ongoing mental health issues" amid her pregnancy. "Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false," attorney David Esquibias said. "We ask for privacy during this time, and for any speculation about her personal life from the public and the media to cease so Amanda can focus on getting better."

Prior to Michael, the Easy A star was previously linked to Frankie Muniz, Taran Killam and Drake Bell.

Scroll to revisit Amanda's relationship timeline with Michael, from their engagement to split to baby news and more.

Amanda’s conservatorship quickly caused problems in her engagement. “As Amanda’s conservator, her mother has responsibility over her daughter’s decision-making, including whether or not to allow her to marry,” Neama Rahmani, president of West Coast Trial Lawyers, told Us exclusively. “If Amanda’s parents did not consent to the marriage, they can petition the court to annul the marriage on the basis of Amanda’s ‘unsound mind.’” Alex Berliner/BEI/Shutterstock
