Vegas, Baby! Megan Fox Details Double Dates With MGK, Kourtney and Travis Posted: 26 Apr 2022 05:12 PM PDT ![]() Rockstar approved! Megan Fox revealed what really happens on her and Machine Gun Kelly's double dates with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. “We’ve been to Vegas with them a couple of times and events and things like that,” the 35-year-old actress told Glamour UK in an interview published on Tuesday, April 26. “But we’re not going on picnics or road trips.” The Transformers star, who has been engaged to 32-year-old Kelly since January, noted that their group outings aren't frequent due to their big families. Fox shares three sons, Noah, 9, Bodhi, 8, and Journey, 5, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, while Kelly is father to daughter Cassie, 12. ![]() “We don’t have a lot of double dates,” Fox explained. “I mean, between all of us, there’s 900 kids!” The Poosh founder, for her part, shares sons Mason, 12, and Reign, 7, and daughter Penelope, 9, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. The Blink-182 drummer is father of Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16, whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. He is also the stepfather to Moakler's 23-year-old daughter, Atiana, whom she shares with ex Oscar Del La Hoya. The Jennifer's Body actress revealed that she has picked up on the "magnetic" connection between Kardashian, 43, and Barker, 46, who got engaged in October 2021. “So nobody’s really interacting with them too much, because they’re just stuck," Fox said of the couple's dynamic. She then made a hand gesture signifying a magnetic force, adding, "They’re stuck together like this." While the New Girl alum doesn't see Kardashian and Barker a ton, when they do get together fans take note. The foursome previously turned heads while attending the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards in September. At the time, the Tennessee native took the stage with Kardashian to introduce the guys' awards show performance. Fox told the crowd to "get extra loud for our future baby daddies," causing fans to go wild. The group once again reunited in February, this time to celebrate the release of Avril Lavigne‘s latest album, Love Sux, at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. The ladies supported their respective fiancés during the event as they joined Lavigne, 37, on stage. Two months later, the Kardashians star surprised fans when she and Barker held a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas following the 2022 Grammys. The union, however, wasn't legal as the couple didn't obtain a marriage license. That same month, Fox gushed over her connection with Kelly in a touching Instagram birthday tribute. "The world has no idea what a gentle, beautiful heart you have. … You are by far the most unique human I have ever met," she wrote on Friday, April 22. "You're such a gorgeous soul. I'm honored to love you and to be the recipient of your love." |
Everything to Know About Blac Chyna’s Lawsuit Against the Kardashians Posted: 26 Apr 2022 04:39 PM PDT Following Blac Chyna‘s split from Rob Kardashian, the model experienced major ups and downs with her ex and his famous family — including a legal battle that’s been ongoing for years. Chyna and Kardashian originally confirmed their relationship in January 2016. The pair got engaged after three months of dating and announced that they were expecting their first child together. Their relationship was documented for their E! reality series, Rob & Chyna, from September to December 2016. After the show was renewed for a second season, the sock designer took to social media to announce the couple’s split. Amid the on and off relationship, E! told Variety that production on Rob & Chyna would be put “on hold” in July 2017. The network noted that the spinoff had "not been in production for several months” as they plan to "follow the [Kardashian] family's lead" on what to do next. Later that year, Chyna sued the Kardashians for allegedly interfering with her reality show’s future. The rapper’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, later offered an update on Chyna’s plans to go forward with the legal battle. "Blac Chyna will seek millions in compensatory and punitive damages from Kris [Jenner], Kim [Kardashian], Khloé [Kardashian], and Kylie [Jenner] for defamation, intentional interference with contract, and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage," Ciani said in a statement to Us Weekly in October 2020. "Chyna is beyond thrilled that she will have her day in court." At the time, the lawyer claimed that Chyna's career in reality TV was "permanently damaged" as a result of the Kardashian family. Two months later, a judge ordered the production company behind Rob & Chyna, Bunim/Murray Production, to turn over any unaired footage that was shot for season 2. Chyna and Rob’s relationship made headlines again in March 2022 when the singer claimed that she didn’t receive any child support. "Yesterday I had to give up 3 of my cars … my reasons … morals, beliefs, being a single mother, no support I'm a MAMA," Chyna, who shares daughter Dream with Rob and son King with ex Tyga, tweeted at the time. Rob, for his past, pointed out that he has his daughter from Tuesdays through Saturdays while questioning his ex-fiancée’s allegations. "[I] pay 37k a year for my daughter's school," the California native wrote in an Instagram comment via the Shade Room. "I handle every single medical expense. I pay for all her extracurricular activities. Why would I pay child support? Lol." Less than a week later, Chyna offered an update on her plans to sue the Kardashian family. "I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors — the lies that were told and the damage that was done," she tweeted in April 2022. "At the end of the trial, I'm going to be able to proudly tell King and Dream that I did everything I could to right the wrong that was done to me. And that, in life, it is my hope that they will be able to stand up for themselves when it matters too." In documents obtained by Us in October 2017, Chyna alleged that she was planning to film a second season of Rob & Chyna with her then-fiancé before the famous family used their "power and influence over the E! network to kill the second season." Chyna claimed that the Kardashians contacted E! in February 2017 to “demand the network not proceed with a second season of Rob & Chyna.” Since the originally filing, Chyna has named solely Kim, Kris, Khloé and Kylie in the lawsuit. Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() In October 2020, a judge denied the famous family's motion to dismiss the lawsuit. She added: “When they got my #1 hit show killed back in January 2017, that not only hurt me financially and emotionally, that hurt my beautiful KIDS. I’m taking them to court to stand up for my legal rights and to be an example to my kids that ‘what’s right is right, what’s wrong is wrong.’ And what they did was so wrong.” Andrew H. Walker/Shutterstock ![]() Kim, Khloé, Kris and Kendall were all in attendance for jury selection in April 2022, as was Chyna. Rob was not at the Los Angeles courthouse for the first day of proceedings on April 18. When an attorney asked potential jurors about their feelings on reality TV, one potential juror replied that he had never watched Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but that he had seen Kim's sex tape. “I have watched [Kim] Kardashian’s sex tape, and I don’t think I can be impartial on this case,” the man said, according to a report from Page Six, adding that he would have trouble being a juror because he would be “replaying that sex tape over and over again” during the trial. Shutterstock (5) ![]() Before trial resumed on April 19, Chyna's mother, Tokyo Toni, went on a rant against the Kardashians via Instagram Live, where she claimed they "looked scary" in person. "It’s just so sad," she said, before accusing Khloé of taking Xanax before heading to court and described Kris as "old and decrepit." After her comments were brought to the judge's attention, Toni was barred from the courtroom, a source exclusively told Us. An email she sent in 2016 was later read to the court, in which Khloé expressed concern with how Chyna’s actions would affect their own show. “We are even considering not moving forward with our show if theirs continues, that’s how strongly we feel this is damaging to our family,” one email read. Kim, for her part, allegedly sent a text after the drama that read, "Chyna can never be on her show.” The KKW Beauty founder clarified in court that she meant to write, “our show,” meaning KUWTK. She noted that her texts are often voice-dictated which would account for the misleading message. Shutterstock (2) |
Khloe, Kim Claim Blac Chyna’s Actions Nearly Ended ‘KUWTK’ During Trial Posted: 26 Apr 2022 04:34 PM PDT ![]() Hurting the bottom line. Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian spoke out about Blac Chyna and her alleged actions while dating Rob Kardashian during their trial testimonies. The Good American cofounder, 37, testified on Tuesday, April 26, that she was focused on protecting Rob, 35, from the "outrageous/chaotic/violent behavior” that came with his and Chyna's relationship, according to TMZ. "We were all considering not being a part of such toxicity," Khloé said during her Los Angeles court appearance, hinting that the drama between her brother and his ex-fiancée, 33, caused problems on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. ![]() While the Strong Looks Better Naked author addressed Chyna's alleged dangerous behavior toward Rob, the jury was presented with alleged emails that she'd sent in the past regarding the continuation of their former E! reality series. (Chyna previously testified on April 20 that she was allegedly joking when she held a gun to her ex's head while they were together.) "We are even considering not moving forward with our show if theirs continues, that's how strongly we feel this is damaging to our family," one email from Khloé read. Keeping Up With the Kardashians ran for 20 seasons from 2006 to 2021 before the family walked away from the E! network. They have since brought cameras back into their lives for Hulu's The Kardashians, which premiered earlier this month. Khloé didn't deny in court on Tuesday that she sent the emails, but insisted that she was referring to the George Arthur designer's relationship with his ex, not their TV show. Chyna filed her initial lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family — specifically Khloé, Kim, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner — in 2017. She is seeking $100 million in damages, claiming that the group is responsible for her and Rob's series, Rob & Chyna, being unfairly canceled when the women allegedly trash-talked her. Kim, for her part, didn't divulge much during her Tuesday testimony, as she claimed she couldn't remember specific details, TMZ reported. Her opinion about Chyna being on the family's series, however, was addressed after a past alleged text from Kim was read aloud. “Chyna can never be on her show," the text said. The KKW Beauty founder, 41, clarified on Tuesday that she meant to say, "our show," meaning KUWTK. She noted that her texts are often voice-dictated which would account for the misleading message. One day prior, the jury learned that both Khloé and sister Kylie, 24, wrote separate emails to E! Network executives in December 2016 expressing concern about their brother and the future of his show with the model. According to their alleged correspondence, the sisters wanted Rob & Chyna to be canceled after an alleged physical altercation between the former couple. The Kylie Cosmetics founder, who was 19 years old when she sent the email, volunteered to film more for E!, offering to "sacrifice and give [the network] episodes and stories" to help end the spinoff. “She doesn’t love him,” Kylie wrote at the time, claiming that Chyna was a "toxic woman" who was only dating Rob to be on TV. “If we really all love Rob, we need to come together and protect him.” Former vice president of development and programming at E! Jeff Olde testified on Monday, April 25, that the network's choice to cancel Rob & Chyna after one season was not influenced by the family's emails. “I don’t really take directions from 17-year-olds,” Olde said in court, adding that the show got the boot because Chyna and Rob split and therefore no longer provided the "fun, lighthearted" entertainment the show promised. Chyna, who shares 5-year-old daughter Dream with Rob, is also seeking $36,000,000 in damages for emotional distress following the show's cancelation. She split from the California native in February 2017 after dating on and off for one year. |
LAPD Didn’t Identify Amber Heard as 'Victim of Domestic Violence' in Past Posted: 26 Apr 2022 03:44 PM PDT Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were married for less than two years, but they’ve weathered a ton of ups and downs since their 2016 split. The Oscar nominee and the Aquaman star met on the set of the 2011 film The Rum Diary, which began production in early 2009. At the time, Depp was in a long-term relationship with Vanessa Paradis, with whom he shares daughter Lily-Rose (born in 1999) and son Jack (born in 2002). The Pirates of the Caribbean actor and the French singer announced their separation in June 2012. He and Heard began dating that same year, but they didn’t make their first official appearance as a couple until January 2014 when they attended a gala together. The duo tied the knot in February 2015 during a low-key ceremony at Depp’s home, then had a larger, more lavish celebration in the Bahamas on the actor’s private island. “Nothing is a dramatic change,” Heard told Elle magazine in June 2015 after the pair’s nuptials. “We’ve been together for a long time now, so it’s been a fairly organic process. I have a fiercely independent spirit.” The trouble, however, began right away. Shortly after their marriage, Heard and Depp made headlines when they brought their two dogs, Pistol and Boo, to Australia without proper documentation. The country has strict animal quarantine rules because of its many unique species of flora and fauna. As a result of their settlement with the nation, the pair later recorded a much-discussed apology video in which they talked about the importance of biosecurity. “Australia’s a wonderful island with a treasure trove of unique plants, animals and people,” Heard began in the video, which was released in April 2016. Depp added, “It has to be protected.” One month later, the couple called it quits. The Magic Mike XXL actress filed for divorce from Depp in May 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. Two days after filing, Heard accused her estranged husband of domestic violence and obtained a temporary restraining order against him. A rep for the Finding Neverland actor denied the allegations in a statement at the time, saying: "Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly." In August 2016, the pair reached a settlement, and their divorce was finalized in January 2017. The tumult, however, continued long after their split. Keep scrolling for a look back at all of Depp and Heard’s ups and downs. Heard did not often speak publicly about her then-fiancé, but she rejected the idea that her relationship was helping her gain a leg up in Hollywood. “I haven’t noticed any change in my career,” she told W magazine in May 2014. “And, for better or worse, I’ve always had a love life that seemed particularly salacious to some people." After Heard showed the court a photo of herself with a bruised face, a judge granted her a temporary restraining order against Depp, who denied her allegations of abuse. Three months later, the duo reached a divorce settlement and said in a joint statement that they had a "volatile" relationship. “Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love,” they said after Heard dismissed her petition for a restraining order. “Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm.” Richard Shotwell/Shutterstock ![]() The former spouses finalized their divorce five months after reaching a settlement. Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock ![]() Heard published an op-ed in The Washington Post in which she detailed the ways her life had changed after she came forward with her 2016 allegations against Depp. She did not mention him by name, but she referred to a moment "two years" earlier when she "became a public figure representing domestic abuse." Andrew H. Walker/Shutterstock ![]() In early 2019, Depp filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Heard over the essay she wrote for The Washington Post. Heard asked the court to throw out the suit, but in August 2021, a Virginia judge ruled that the case could proceed. The actress also filed a $100 million countersuit against Depp, with her lawyers accusing her ex of instigating a smear campaign against her. David Fisher/Shutterstock ![]() The trial for Depp's libel lawsuit against The Sun began in London. As part of the proceedings, multiple witnesses were called to testify on behalf of Depp and his character, including his ex-girlfriends Paradis and Winona Ryder, who claimed that he was not violent toward them during their relationships. "I was absolutely shocked, confused and upset when I heard the accusations against him,” Ryder said in her statement. "[The] idea that he is an incredibly violent person is the farthest thing from the Johnny I knew and loved. I cannot wrap my head around these accusations. He was never, never violent towards me. He was never, never abusive at all towards me." Paradis, for her part, called him a "kind, attentive, generous and nonviolent person and father." During the trial, Depp claimed that Heard had been the aggressor in their alleged domestic violence incidents. Heard stated that her former spouse was the instigator, but she claimed that she once hit him in self-defense. James Veysey/Shutterstock ![]() The High Court of Justice ruled that The Sun's article was not libelous because Heard's allegations were "substantially true." Depp said at the time that he wanted to fight the judgment, but the court later denied him permission to appeal. Shortly after the verdict, Depp exited the third Fantastic Beasts film, The Secrets of Dumbledore. “I wish to let you know that I have been asked to resign by Warner Bros. from my role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts and I have respected and agreed to that request,” he wrote via Instagram at the time. Mads Mikkelsen replaced him in the movie, which hit theaters in April 2022. Warner Bros/Kobal/Shutterstock ![]() As the duo's defamation trial began in Virginia, Heard defended the essay that Depp was suing her over. “I never named him, rather I wrote about the price women pay for speaking against men in power,” she wrote via Instagram. “I continue to pay that price, but hopefully, when this case concludes, I can move on and so can Johnny. I have always maintained a love for Johnny and it brings me great pain to have to live out the details of our past life together in from of the world.” In opening statements, Heard's attorney, Ben Rottenborn, claimed that evidence would show that Depp's alleged abuse against his ex-wife "took many forms" over the years, including sexual abuse. "You will hear in the most graphic and horrifying terms about the violence that she suffered," the lawyer argued. "You'll hear that straight from her. She will get on the stand and she will tell you that. It happened." Depp, meanwhile, denied the allegations via a spokesperson. "These fictitious claims were never made at the onset of Amber's allegations in 2016, and only advantageously surfaced years later once she was sued for defamation after noting in her op-ed that she was a victim of 'sexual violence,'" the rep told E! News at the time. "Words are key in a defamation case and conveniently, this allegation only came after that." EVELYN HOCKSTEIN/POOL/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() While taking the stand during his witness testimony, Depp discussed the way his career allegedly suffered as a result of Heard's accusations. "It's pretty strange when one day you're Cinderella, so to speak, then 0.6 seconds you're Quasimodo. I didn't deserve that, nor did my children, nor did the people who have believed in me for all these years," he stated. "I didn't want any of those people to believe that I had done them wrong or lied to them or that I was a fraud. I pride myself on honesty." Depp explained that he was looking to "clear the record" amid the lengthy legal battle. "Never did I myself reach the point of striking Ms. Heard in any way, nor have I ever struck any woman in my life," he said while under oath. Shutterstock (2) ![]() Depp concluded his fourth and final day on the stand by stating that he filed the libel suit against Heard because “it was the only time I was able to fight back and use my own voice.” That same day, audio recordings were also played of the actor arguing with Heard, including one where he mentions that the possibility of violence could occur if their fights kept escalating. Brendan Smialowski/AP/Shutterstock ![]() In a March 2021 deposition video shown in the courtroom in April 2022, LAPD officer Melissa Saenz — who responded to the alleged incident at Depp and Heard’s residence in May 2016 — claimed that she (Saenez) “did not identify her (Heard) as a victim of domestic violence,” per Deadline. Saenz claimed that she did not file a report because she did not believe there was a crime and noted that neither she nor her partner took notes or photos of the visit. Saenez noted in the testimony that Heard was “red-eyed” and “crying” when she greeted them at the door, and was not making eye contact. BRENDAN SMIALOWSKI/POOL/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() Dr. Shannon Curry, a psychologist for the defense in Depp's defamation case against Heard, testified that after evaluating the actress over two 12-hour days, "The results of Ms. Heard's evaluation supported two diagnoses: borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder." Dr. Curry added that she did not see any signs of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder at the time. When the psychologist’s analyses were cross-examined by the defense, Dr. Curry stated that she was not a board-certified doctor and noted that she did not evaluate Depp. BRENDAN SMIALOWSKI/POOL/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock |
Renee Zellweger, Ant Anstead Are 'Much in Love' as 1st Anniversary Nears Posted: 26 Apr 2022 03:09 PM PDT Totally thriving! Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead are in a great place ahead of their first anniversary as a couple. “All is going well with Ant and Renee,” an insider exclusively tells Us Weekly of the Oscar winner, 53, and the former Wheeler Dealers host, 43. “They’re still very much in love with each other.” The U.K. native recently gushed over his girlfriend in an Instagram post marking the one-year anniversary of their first meeting. “This just popped up in memories,” Anstead wrote on Saturday, April 23, alongside a photo of the duo on the set of his show Celebrity IOU: Joyride. “One year ago today! Sat on the back of a fire engine on the final day of filming having handed two amazing men a car as a thank you from Ren. Amazing what can happen in just one year.” The Judy actress also celebrated her birthday on Monday, April 25, and her beau couldn’t resist another opportunity to toast his love. “Happy birthday to this beautiful lady,” he wrote in an Instagram Story alongside a black-and-white selfie of the twosome. “Ren you are PURE CLASS! I know how lucky I am.” ![]() Though the Discovery+ personality occasionally gives fans glimpses of his romance with Zellweger on social media, the source notes that the couple “still like to keep their relationship private for the most part." As for how they celebrated their back-to-back special days, the insider says that “it will be low-key and very special” no matter what. “It’s a celebratory time for them.” Last month, the Bridget Jones’s Diary actress opened up about how “serendipity” led to her relationship with Anstead. The Texas native became interested in the original version of Celebrity IOU after she saw an episode where Brad Pitt renovated his friend’s garage. Zellweger wanted to do something similar for the nurses who cared for her friend and publicist Nanci Ryder, who died in June 2020. Instead of doing Celebrity IOU with the Property Brothers, however, she signed on for the Joyride spinoff starring Anstead. She and the expert mechanic like to think that Ryder had a hand in bringing them together. “We do joke about that," the Cold Mountain star told Harper’s Bazaar in March. "She's always doing her best. It made me smile. It made me smile to think on this, yeah, the serendipity of it all." Earlier this month, Celebrity IOU hosts Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott joked that they were “directly responsible” for Anstead and Zellweger’s relationship. "Celebrity IOU: Joyride was actually not just about a car show giving back to people,” Jonathan, 43, joked during an Extra interview on April 13. “That was actually an undercover dating show to find Ant the love of his life.” With reporting by Diana Cooper |
'Selling Sunset' Cast's Love Lives: Who the Netflix Stars Are Dating Off Screen Posted: 26 Apr 2022 02:06 PM PDT All’s fair in love and real estate! Selling Sunset is partly about the luxury home market in Southern California, but it still devotes plenty of airtime to the cast’s personal lives. When the agents of the Oppenheim Group aren’t pounding the pavement in five-inch stilettos, they’re sitting around their West Hollywood office catching up on gossip with their coworkers — especially the latest additions. In season 1, the new girl in town was Chrishell Stause, who joined the firm after acting on soap operas including The Young and the Restless. When the Netflix series premiered in March 2019, Stause was married to Justin Hartley, but seven months later, the This Is Us star surprised fans — and his then-wife — by filing for divorce. Selling Sunset covered the surprise filing in the season 2 finale, leaving fans wondering what happened between the former costars and setting a precedent for even more personal drama to follow. Like Stause, Heather Rae Young saw her love life become a subject of interest in season 2. After breaking up with Nick Ebert, the hockey player with whom she had a long-distance relationship in season 1, Young started dating Tarek El Moussa, who was previously married to Christina Haack. Their romance quickly became the subject of much discussion at the Oppenheim Group, perhaps most famously when Amanza Smith questioned whether Young had met El Moussa’s children in the relationship. Nearly two years later after meeting, however, the former model and the Flip or Flop cohost are still going strong and got engaged in July 2020 before tying the knot in October 2021. Young also has a friendly relationship with Haack, who shares daughter Taylor (born in 2010) and son Brayden (born in 2015) with El Moussa. "We coparent very well together," Young told Us Weekly of Haack in April 2021. "We communicate daily about the kids, and they're the most important thing in the world to all of us. So, as long as the kids are happy, we're all happy." It seems likely that the relationship drama will only continue, especially given that Stause started dating Oppenheim Group cofounder Jason Oppenheim in July 2021. After photos of the pair cuddling up during a vacation made waves on social media, the businessman confirmed their relationship to Us in a statement. "Chrishell and I became close friends and it has developed into an amazing relationship," he explained. "I care about her deeply and we're very happy together." Us confirmed in December 2021 that the pair had split. Nikki Glaser: Will Smith Must Have Been in 'Pain' Ahead of Chris Rock Slap Posted: 26 Apr 2022 01:38 PM PDT ![]() Offering some insight. While reflecting on her career as a stand-up comedian, Nikki Glaser discussed her personal feelings on Will Smith publicly slapping Chris Rock because of a joke. “I accept Will Smith's apology, not on behalf of Chris Rock, but for him, I can tell that he is ashamed of how he behaved. I trust that he is going through things that we don’t understand,” Glaser, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting her new show Welcome Home Nikki Glaser?, which premieres on Sunday, May 1. “Because you do not do that if you are not in pain. So, I actually have a lot of empathy for Will Smith.” The TV host noted that she was initially “horrified” by what happened at the 2022 Oscars. “[I was] kind of scared for myself in terms of what kind of ideas people might get with copycatting someone who is arguably one of the safest men ever,” she explained. “I do think that I forgive him and that he did the right thing with that Instagram statement. I am ready to accept him back into the world if he shows that he has grown from it.” Late last month, Smith, 53, made headlines when he was involved in an altercation at the 94th annual Academy Awards. While presenting an award, Rock, 57, made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith appearing in G.I. Jane 2 because of her shaved head. Pinkett Smith, 50, who has alopecia, rolled her eyes before the Philadelphia native approached the stage and slapped the comedian. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum later issued an apology on social media directly to Rock before announcing his resignation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Earlier this month, the organization confirmed that Smith was banned from all Oscars events for 10 years as punishment. The actor, for his part, said in a statement to Page Six, “I accept and respect the Academy's decision.” While reflecting on the incident, Glaser explained how she would have approached making a joke about Pinkett Smith if she was in the same position. “It’s a dumb little throw away joke. I would not have known about her alopecia. I would’ve said that [I am] just joking. And if he slapped me, I would be so embarrassed and so scared because it’s an assault,” she shared with Us. “But I do think that I would apologize for hurting someone [Will] loves and actually hurting Jada in that way. Not knowing about her history of alopecia, not knowing how painful alopecia is for people who suffer with it and saying, ‘Listen, now I won’t do that again.'” The FBOY Island host also recalled how her experience with stand-up comedy has affected her approach to humor. “My intent is never to offend or hurt anyone’s feelings. Now that doesn’t mean that I don’t accidentally do that sometimes,” she told Us. “The difference between me and I think a lot of comedians now is that comedians always say that they will not apologize. It’s just a joke. I acknowledge that jokes can hurt and I will apologize if I hurt someone.” Glaser’s professional and personal life will be at the forefront of her upcoming reality series. The Ohio native credited her interest in reality TV for helping her know what she wanted her own show to look like. “The persona I have in the public eye is already as close to a reality show character that you would see because I’m not pretending to be anything I’m not. I really am honest all the time with everything I do and that wasn’t always how I started out,” she mentioned. “I’m still a work in progress that's trying to accept myself, but I really do know who I am now. I know my limitations and I am really comfortable being myself.” Glaser continued: “The only reason I did this reality show was because I was at a point where I was ready to be completely honest. I wouldn’t have done it otherwise because I’m a reality show connoisseur and I want my reality as organic as possible. I don’t wanna see stuff that is manufactured. I did not set out on a course to pitch a reality show until I knew that I was ready to show every little bad part of myself and it turns out I’m not such a bad person.” Welcome Home Nikki Glaser? premieres on E! Bhad Bhabie Shares Receipts to Prove $50M OnlyFans Earnings Posted: 26 Apr 2022 12:26 PM PDT Knowing their worth. As OnlyFans made a name for itself as an online subscription service for content creators, many stars took advantage of their large audience by joining the website. OnlyFans allows people to put out any sort of content, including nude photos, at a price they think their followers will pay to view them. From monthly subscriptions to pricing each post individually, some celebrities have managed to bring in some major money with the side gig. Bella Thorne went viral when she first joined the website in August 2020. In one day, the Amityville: The Awakening star was the first creator to make more than $1 million in 24 hours. At the time, the singer explained that she only joined OnlyFans as research for a future project. “It’s a feature we are researching as I’m living it currently. What are the ins and outs? What does a platform like this do to its users? What’s the connective material between your life and your life inside the world of OnlyFans?” she detailed to the Los Angeles Times. “How can it change your life for the worse and the better? How far are you willing to go, and how far do you want to go?” After Thorne’s decision to join the website caused backlash amongst sex workers for over saturating OnlyFans for her benefit, the model took to social media to apologize. "Remove the stigma behind sex, sex work, and the negativity that surrounds the word SEX itself by bringing a mainstream face to it that's what I was trying to do, to help bring more faces to the site to create more revenue for content creators on the site," she wrote in a series of tweets that same month. "I wanted to bring attention to the site, the more people on the site the more likely of a chance to normalize the stigmas, and in trying to do this I hurt you." Thorne reasoned that she trying to use her platform in an effort to help “others and advocate for something bigger,” but apologized for the issues she may have started. After the director’s groundbreaking accomplishment, OnlyFans implanted new rules when it came to pricing. "This is f–ked up and I'm sorry," she noted before adding that she had plans to discuss all “concerns you want brought up" with the website. Four months later, the performer seemingly joked about the situation when she posted to her Instagram Stories, “Everyone joining ONLY fans but I took the hit for doing it firsttttt coooool. Two months later, Jowsey confirmed that he had already made more than $1 million on OnlyFans. Tiger Woods and Erica Herman’s Relationship Timeline Posted: 26 Apr 2022 12:25 PM PDT Love after controversy! Tiger Woods' personal life has been a topic of conversation for decades, but has he found The One in Erica Herman? The golfer rose to fame when he won his first major at the 1997 Masters. As his success on the course continued, he made waves in November 2009 after news broke that he was unfaithful to wife Elin Nordegren with several women. The pair, who wed in 2004, share daughter Sam (born in 2007) and son Charlie (2009). "In hindsight, it's not how I would change 2009 and how it all came about. It would be having a more open, honest relationship with my ex-wife," Woods, who sought treatment amid his scandal, told Time in 2015. "When it comes down to it, right down to it, it's just having a more open, honest relationship with my ex-wife when we were married. Our frustrations would have come out if we had talked about it and been open and honest with each other. Which we are now, and it's absolutely fantastic." He added: "I've taken the initiative with the kids, and told them upfront, 'Guys, the reason why we're not in the same house, why we don't live under the same roof, Mommy and Daddy, is because Daddy made some mistakes.’" Woods and Nordegren finalized their divorce in 2010 and he went on to date Lindsey Vonn for nearly three years before their 2015 split. He was first linked to Herman in 2017. The couple's romance caught the attention of sports fans in 2019 when she cheered him on alongside his two kids as he won his 15th major title in Augusta, Georgia. That same year, the duo made a rare public appearance when they watched Serena Williams at the 19 U.S. Open. Woods was back in the news for a different reason in February 2021 when he suffered severe leg injuries after crashing his car in California's Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes region. Woods was in the hospital for weeks following emergency surgery. An insider told Us Weekly at the time that having Herman's support "means the world" to Woods. "She's been so compassionate and supportive — all his friends and family have. He couldn't have asked for more in that regard," the source said. The duo proved to be going strong when Woods returned to golf in 2022. Amber Heard's Dating History: From Johnny Depp to Elon Musk Posted: 26 Apr 2022 12:23 PM PDT After being in several long-term romances in the public eye, Amber Heard has often been candid about her love life. During an appearance at GLAAD's 25th anniversary event in 2010, the actress opened up about having "successful relationships" with both men and women in the past. The actress, who was linked to Tasya Van Ree at the time, later explained why she choose to publicly address her bisexuality. "To be silent about something means to admit underneath that that thing is wrong. But I knew it was not like that," Heard told Italian magazine IO Donna in 2019, noting that she was warned not to discuss her sexual orientation by people in the industry. "So I told myself to describe reality in a truthful way and to offer young people someone to look up to since those of my generation had grown up without any model of reference. Who knows, thanks to me, maybe someone has felt less inadequate.” Following her split from Van Ree, Heard started dating Depp in 2011 after they met on the set of The Rum Diary. After three years of dating, the pair exchanged vows but the Pineapple Express star filed for divorce one year later. Amid their breakup, Heard accused Depp of domestic violence and obtained a temporary restraining order against him. Depp, for his part, denied the allegations, however, the former couple’s ups and downs continued to make headlines. Two years after Depp and Heard reached a divorce settlement, the Texas native penned a 2018 op-ed about her past history with abuse for The Washington Post. The Pirates of the Caribbean star, who was not named in the essay, sued his ex-wife for defamation due to a reference about an incident that occurred two years prior to publication. Depp argued that Heard’s writing affected his career in Hollywood. Ahead of their public trial, the activist took to social media to announce a new addition to her family. “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” Heard captioned a post announcing her daughter’s birth in July 2021. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib. A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone's business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.” She concluded: “My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She's the beginning of the rest of my life." Scroll down for Heard’s complete dating history: ![]() Heard and the photographer previously dated from 2008 to 2012. During their courtship, Heard legally changed her last name to Van Ree and later restored her birth name after their split. In 2009, Heard was arrested but not charged for domestic violence after an altercation with Van Ree at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The painter claimed in a statement to Us Weekly in June 2016 that the situation was “misinterpreted.” “Amber was wrongfully accused for an incident that was misinterpreted and over-sensationalized by two individuals in a power position. I recount hints of misogynistic attitudes toward us which later appeared to be homophobic when they found out we were domestic partners and not just ‘friends.’ Charges were quickly dropped and she was released moments later,” Van Ree told Us. “It's disheartening that Amber's integrity and story are being questioned yet again. Amber is a brilliant, honest and beautiful woman and I have the utmost respect for her. We shared 5 wonderful years together and remain close to this day.” Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() After meeting on set of The Rum Diary in 2009, Depp and Heard sparked romance rumors two years later. They tied the knot in 2015, but the Danish Girl actress filed for divorce after 15 months of marriage. The exes, who finalized their divorce in 2016, continue to be caught up in a messy court battle after they accused one another of domestic abuse. In 2018, the Oscar nominee filed a libel lawsuit against the U.K. newspaper The Sun for referring to him as a "wife beater" in an article. Two years later, the High Court of Justice ruled that The Sun's article was not libelous because Heard's allegations were "substantially true." David Fisher/Shutterstock ![]() Amid her high-profile divorce from Depp, Heard dated the Tesla CEO for one year before they initially broke up in August 2017. After five months apart, the pair decided to give their relationship another try later that year. In February 2018, an insider confirmed to Us that Heard and Musk pulled the plug on their romance for good. “Amber wants her independence and prefers being friends rather than romantically linked,” the source said at the time, with another insider adding, “Elon decided it was time to end things, and Amber agreed. They both care for one another, but the timing just isn’t right.” Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() In May 2018, Heard and Schnabel sparked rumors that they were an item. Harry Styles Felt 'Ashamed' About Sex Life After 1D's 'Cleanliness Clause' Posted: 26 Apr 2022 12:18 PM PDT He wasn’t always a sex symbol. Harry Styles opened up about feeling very secretive about his sex life and even feeling “ashamed” about his experiences. “For a long time, it felt like the only thing that was mine was my sex life,” the “As It Was” singer, 28, revealed to Better Homes and Gardens magazine in their June 2022 cover story, released on Tuesday, April 26. He continued, “I felt so ashamed about it, ashamed at the idea of people even knowing that I was having sex, let alone who with.” Styles, who has been dating Olivia Wilde since late 2020, rose to fame on the UK’s X Factor at age 15, and his contracts with One Direction allegedly had “cleanliness clauses,” specific stipulations about his behavior. The idea that he could lose his career if he made a mistake in his personal life or accidentally said the wrong thing in an interview created a lot of anxiety. ![]() “At the time, there were still the kiss-and-tell things. Working out who I could trust was stressful,” Styles said. “But I think I got to a place where I was like, why do I feel ashamed? I’m a 26-year-old man who’s single; it’s like, yes, I have sex.” The England native recalled learning that his solo contract with Columbia Records had no such clauses. “I felt free,” he explained to the magazine, adding that he burst into tears at the time. The “Watermelon Sugar” performer, who has been open about attending therapy (even giving his therapist a shout-out at a November 2021 concert), explained that he was working on his issues with intimacy and love. However, he doesn’t want to give away every personal detail.
Styles called the expectation that he should clarify his sexuality “outdated.” Styles breaks gender barriers with his fashion choices, such as wearing a dress on the cover of Vogue in 2020, and he has waved pride flags at concerts, including at Coachella earlier this month where he grabbed a bisexual flag from the crowd. However, he has not said if he’s straight or identifies as LGBTQ+ — nor does he plan to. “I’ve been really open with it with my friends, but that’s my personal experience; it’s mine,” he said. “The whole point of where we should be heading, which is toward accepting everybody and being more open, is that it doesn’t matter, and it’s about not having to label everything, not having to clarify what boxes you’re checking.” The Dunkirk star and Wilde, 38, are both very private about their romance, but they’re still going strong, with the Don’t Worry Darling director seen supporting her movie’s leading man (they met while filming the thriller in 2020) at Coachella earlier this month. An insider told Us Weekly exclusively last year that the pair support each other’s careers, even when they aren’t making movies together. "Olivia and Harry have an ease to their relationship, they love and support each other, but also let each other be free and work on their own,” the source said in July 2021. “Both of them respect the other's work and never want to get in the way of each other." |
Soleil Moon Frye's Divorce Finalized, Jason Goldberg to Pay Her $36K a Month Posted: 26 Apr 2022 12:14 PM PDT ![]() Closing the chapter. Soleil Moon Frye and ex Jason Goldberg have settled their divorce nearly two years after announcing their separation. The Punky Brewster alum, 45, and the producer finalized their split, according to documents filed on Friday, April 22. As part of the settlement, Goldberg will pay his ex-wife $18,996 per month in spousal support as well as $17,281 in child support, for a total of $36,277 per month. The duo, who wed in October 1998, will share joint custody of their four kids: daughters Poet, 16, and Jagger, 13, and sons Lyric, 8, and Story, 5. According to the court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Frye will keep the family’s property in Venice, California, though she will have to pay her ex $631,000 for the home. The former couple will share royalties from Sabrina the Teenage Witch and the 2021 reboot of Punky Brewster, but Frye will keep any earnings from her work in ’80s and ’90s shows including Saved by the Bell, The Wonder Years and the original run of Punky Brewster. The Diff’rent Strokes alum and her ex-husband announced their separation in December 2020 after 22 years of marriage. “Soleil Moon Frye and Jason Goldberg quietly separated this year," a rep for the actress told Us in a statement at the time. "Their priority will continue to be their four beautiful children as they move forward with love and compassion." The twosome renewed their vows in October 2008 during a ceremony attended by celebrity friends including Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, who were married at the time. (The That ’70s Show alum, 44, has worked with Goldberg on several projects including Punk’d and The Butterfly Effect.) Last year, Frye opened up about how she was trying to stay positive in the midst of her divorce. "For me, I'm so grateful for the life that I've had," she told Page Six in March 2021. "For the beautiful children I have, and I look at the amount of years which I've been able to share as a celebration. You don't spend 22 years with someone and not celebrate it." That same month, the former Friends star revealed that she had her “first consensual sexual experience” with Charlie Sheen when she was 18 and he was 29. Frye referred to the Two and a Half Men alum, now 56, as her “Mr. Big,” referencing Chris Noth‘s character in Sex and the City. “It's been the most strange and incredible day ever," she said in her documentary Kid 90, reading from a 1994 diary entry. "He's somebody I've had a crush on for years. He's a person that intrigues me and excites me." Frye called the former Anger Management star a “kind and loving” person with whom she’s stayed friends for years. Sheen, for his part, told Us at the time that the Happy Chaos author is a “good egg.” With reporting by Andrea Simpson |
Thomas Markle Calls Harry an 'Idiot,' Claims He's Going to Queen's Jubilee Posted: 26 Apr 2022 12:07 PM PDT Prince Harry and Meghan Markle surprised the British public — and multiple royal relatives, apparently — by announcing in January 2020 that they intended to "step back" from their duties as senior members of the royal family. "After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution," they wrote in an Instagram statement released on Wednesday. "We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment." They stated that their new lives would involve relocation to North America — for part of the time, anyway — after leaving son Archie in Canada under the care of Meghan's friend Jessica Mulroney and a nanny following the family's Christmas celebrations there. "We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages," they added. "This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity." Harry and Meghan said that they "look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course" and will "continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties." The announcement, however, threw some of those "relevant parties" — including Harry's older brother, Prince William, and grandmother Queen Elizabeth II — for a loop. One year after dropping the major bombshell, Harry asserted that he didn’t “blindside” the monarch with his choice to step down. “I have too much respect for her,” he said during a March 2021 tell-all interview on CBS, one month after the pair’s departure from the royal family was made permanent. During the sit-down, Harry explained that he and Meghan felt “a lack of support and lack of understanding” from The Firm, especially when it came to how they approached the British press and their takedowns of the couple. “When you can see something happening in the same kind of way, anybody would ask for help, ask the system of which you are a part of, especially when you know there’s a relationship there, that they could help and share some truth or call the dogs off, whatever you want to call it. So, to receive no help at all and to be told continuously, ‘This is how it is. This is just how it is. We’ve all been through it,'” he said at the time. “It was like, ‘I need to do this for my family.’ This is not a surprise to anybody. It’s really sad that it’s gotten to this point, but I’ve got to do something for my own mental health, my wife’s, and for Archie’s, as well, because I could see where this was headed.” Scroll down to read more about all the drama that ensued following the couple’s step back: ![]() After the royal couple announced their transition in January 2020, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that they were forced to share the news early because The Sun was prepping a story on the same topic. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.” The statement continued: “Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() The queen announced in a statement that she and the couple had come to an agreement about their new roles, which will see Harry and Meghan lose their His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness titles and completely step down as working members of the royal family. “Following many months of conversations and more recent discussions, I am pleased that together we have found a constructive and supportive way forward for my grandson and his family,” the monarch said. “Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved members of the family. I recognise the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life.” Buckingham Palace stared in a statement that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have said they wish to repay the Sovereign Grant money that was spent on refurbishing Frogmore Cottage at the queen’s Windsor estate, which will remain their U.K. home. The agreement will also see the couple keeping their patronages, except for Harry’s three military roles: Captain General Royal Marines, Royal Air Force: Squadron Leader, Small Ships and Diving, and Royal Naval Command: Commodore-in-Chief, ABC News reported. Their transition period will be complete in spring 2020, but Harper's Bazaar's royal correspondent Omid Scobie reported that there is the option for the agreement to be reviewed in 2021. Shutterstock ![]() Following the queen’s announcement regarding the couple’s new roles within the family — and the loss of their HRH titles — Prince Harry addressed his step back from senior royal duties for the first time at a dinner for supporters of his Sentebale charity in London. “The U.K. is my home and a place that I love,” he told the room of supporters. “That will never change.” Harry, who is sixth in line for the British throne, then admitted that although he and Meghan were “hopeful” and “were here to serve” once they got married, things have changed. He admitted that the new arrangement “brings me great sadness” and the choice to step back was “not one I made lightly.” The former military captain reassured the British people that his family is not “walking away” from them despite their change in duties and splitting time between two countries. “Our hope was to serve the queen, the Commonwealth and my military associations but without public funding. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible,” he explained. “I’ve accepted this knowing that it doesn’t change who I am, or how committed I am. But I hope that helps you understand what it had come to. Meghan is his rock. He first opened up to Meghan about the trauma he went through dealing with his mom’s death shortly after they met — it was during their trip to Africa.” The insider noted that William is “a more logical thinker.” “He doesn’t let things get to him, like Harry does. That’s not to say William has a heart of steel — he’s actually an incredibly loving and kind man, he just has a different way of dealing with emotions and is more level-headed than his brother,” the source said. “If William has a problem, he’ll talk to Kate about it. William confides in her about everything.” Shutterstock ![]() Reports surfaced in February 2020 that Meghan was joining her bestie Jessica Mulroney on her new Netflix reality series, I Do Redo, but Ben Mulroney shut the rumors down. “@ctv_pr told you yesterday that your facts were inaccurate. Therefore, the trademark applications that were filed as protective measures, acting on advice from and following the same model for The Royal Foundation, have been removed.” Harry and Meghan responded with a statement of their own, which read in part, “While there is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘Royal’ overseas, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘Sussex Royal’ or any iteration of the word ‘Royal’ in any territory (either within the UK or otherwise) when the transition occurs Spring 2020.” Shutterstock ![]() Amid a back-and-forth regarding their trademark rights, a source told Us exclusively that the queen wasn't pleased with Harry and Meghan's response. Later that month, a separate insider revealed that Harry felt "terrible about hurting his grandmother, whom he adores." While Harry hoped to maintain his close relationship with the monarch amid his royal exit, he couldn't quite mend fences with William. A spokesperson for the couple told Us in a statement at the time, “As evidenced by their work over the past year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain committed to their duty and service to the U.K. and around the world and have offered their continued support to the organizations they have represented regardless of official role. Meghan opened up about having suicidal thoughts while pregnant with their first child, claiming that when she reached out for help, The Firm did nothing. Joe Pugliese/Harpo Productions/CBS ![]() Buckingham Palace issued a public statement in the wake of the controversial March 2021 interview, stating, “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.” A source later told Us that Her Majesty has been in “constant crisis meetings” since the interview aired. “The queen has always had a soft spot for Harry and looked out for him, so [she] is incredibly hurt and shocked that it has come to this,” the insider said. “She’s trying to be understanding and see things from Harry’s perspective, but he allegations he and Meghan have made are hard for her to digest. The interview has wreaked havoc on the royal family.” Prince William later denied that the royal family is racist while speaking with reporters, saying they’re “very much not a racist family.” Shutterstock ![]() Harry returned to the U.K. in April 2021 for the first time since his family’s relocation to California, following the death of his grandfather, Prince Philip, who died at the age of 99. He reunited with his family at the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral that month and was photographed talking and walking with William and Kate. The siblings were seen leaning in toward each other, which body language expert Elaine Swann exclusively told Us was a “very hopeful [sign] for these two young men” amid their rocky relationship. “William did his best to open his body language toward his brother,” Swann explained of the brothers’ post-funeral walk. “You have to look at the fact that he turned it toward him. And so, in that opening, that’s saying, ‘Come on in. Let’s talk, let’s chat.’ He didn’t walk side by side, but he actually turned toward his brother.” Harry returned to the U.S. a few days later, but was able to meet with his grandmother, Elizabeth, ahead of her 95th birthday later that month. Ian Vogler/WPA Pool/Shutterstock ![]() In May 2021, Harry spoke out again about his upbringing and the hardships of growing up as a royal, saying, “It’s a mix between The Truman Show and living in a zoo.” During his appearance on the “Armchair Expert” podcast, the prince revealed he knew in his early 20s that he didn’t want to be a royal. “I was in space of, 'I don't want this job. Look what it did to my mum, how am I ever going to settle down, have a wife and a family, when I know this is going to happen again,'" he explained. "I've seen behind the curtain, I know how this operation runs and works. I don't want to be part of this. Then once I started doing therapy suddenly the bubble was burst." The former military pilot also criticized his father’s parenting style during the interview while speaking out his approach to fathering. “When it comes to parenting, if I’ve experienced some form of pain and suffering because of the pain and suffering that perhaps my father or parents suffered, I’m gonna make sure I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on,” he said. Tim Rooke/Shutterstock ![]() “The queen is unimpressed with Harry’s latest interview and found it hurtful. It hasn’t done their relationship any favors,” a source told Us in May 2021, noting that Prince Charles and Prince William are “livid too.” A second insider said that Charles is “hurt” and “disappointed” by his son’s comments. “[Charles] feels tortured by Harry with his constant digs. He wishes he’d just let it drop,” the source explained. “The general consensus within the royal family is to ignore Harry’s behavior, to avoid fanning the flames, but Charles is finding it hard to hold back. He really wants to defend himself.” The first insider noted that with the way things are going, “Charles may never forgive Harry, which hasn’t gone down well with Elizabeth.” The queen is “proud” of William, however, for “taking the dignified approach, unlike Charles, who still hasn’t forgiven Harry for dragging his name through the mud,” the source added. According to Penguin Random House, the book will be "the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape" Harry into the public figure fans know and love. News of the tell-all came as a big surprise to the prince's relatives — especially his father and brother — a source later revealed. Nor has the threat to him and his family," a statement read in January 2022, noting, "The goal for Prince Harry has been simple — to ensure the safety of himself and his family while in the U.K. so his children can know his country." One month later, Harry's lawyer claimed in court that the duke "does not feel safe" traveling to the U.K. with his children. "I'm going to show my respect for the queen, and I'm going to make sure that the queen understands that my entire family respects the queen and the royals, and we admire them. ... I really would like to meet Prince Charles and thank him for walking my daughter down the aisle. ... I think we have a lot in common now." Thomas weighed in on Harry's fight for security in the U.K. and slammed his decision to attend the "far more dangerous" Invictus Games. "I don't understand half the things he says. ... I think he's an idiot," he concluded. "To fly all the way over [there] and not bring the children? That's ridiculous." GBN/YouTube |
Thandiwe Newton and Ol Parker's Relationship Timeline Posted: 26 Apr 2022 11:50 AM PDT A Hollywood romance. Over the years, Thandiwe Newton and Ol Parker kept their relationship under wraps as they focused on raising their family. Following their 1998 nuptials, the couple expanded their family with three kids. Newton later noted that her relationship with her husband came with its ups and downs. "Ol has a very dry sense of humor. We are very different characters but very good friends. We've both had a degree of pain in our lives, which I think is the best teacher there is. We don't expect to be happy every day,” she told InStyle UK in May 2011. For the Westworld actress, a successful marriage meant making compromises when it came to her family’s future. “Finding a happy and solid relationship is always difficult, so the decision was all about making my husband feel more secure and committing to my family,” Newton said InStyle UK about her decision not to join the 2000 film Charlie’s Angels. “My career was exploding and I wasn't ready for it. It was about wanting to put the brakes on, acknowledging that I had other priorities." In 2016, the Mission: Impossible 2 star also opened up about the “calm” presence that the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again director brings into her life. "[He is] so calm. And we laugh, because I take the piss out of him and he takes the piss out of me,” she told The Guardian. "Never been my way! That's what it's like in our house. A lot of music as well." After more than two decades of marriage, Newton and Parker became a topic of conversation when the Pursuit of Happyness star was replaced by Salma Hayek in Magic Mike 3 due to personal issues. "Thandiwe Newton has made the difficult decision to step away from the production of Warner Bros. Pictures' Magic Mike's Last Dance to deal with family matters," a spokesperson told Variety in April 2022. At the time, eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that the pair’s last joint appearance was two years prior. Amid the split speculation, Newton and Parker stepped out individually without their wedding rings on. In April 2022, Newton made headlines when she was photographed making out with musician Lonr during an outing in Malibu, California. The "Make the Most" singer addressed the situation in a statement to Page Six, saying, “From the relatively short time I’ve been fortunate to spend with her, I know Thandiwe and Oliver care deeply about the welfare of their children. That’s all I care about right now.” Newton and Parker, however, haven’t publicly commented on their marriage status. Rob Lowe's Brother Chad Lowe Will Play His Sibling on '9-1-1: Lone Star' Posted: 26 Apr 2022 10:54 AM PDT Mixing family with business! Many famous families have several actors in them — and some of those relatives have gone on to share the screen together. Robbie Amell, who worked with his cousin Stephen Amell on projects like The Flash, previously explained how they looked too alike to share scenes with one another. "It's tough, we're pretty similar in look. We're not going to play related," Robbie told Entertainment Weekly in December 2019. "That was part of the reason they wouldn't let [our characters] talk to each other on The Flash, they were like, 'It's too weird. People know you're related, you can't talk to each other.' Robbie and Stephen would later go on to work together on their crowd-funded film, Code 8. “Part of it was we just needed to create something for ourselves. We figured if we weren't willing to take a bet on ourselves, then why should we expect anyone else to?” Robbie explained to EW. “We wanted to give it a shot and make something that we would be proud of, something that people backing us would be proud of." Not all family members want to work on the same projects though, including Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal, who were reluctant to team up. Richard Kelly previously spoke about having to talk Maggie into taking the role in Donnie Darko alongside her brother. “Immediately, she was like, ‘Richard, you’re only offering this to me because I’m Jake’s big sister. You should be finding the best actress for the role,'” the director told Vox in April 2017. “So she was already trying to talk me out of casting her, in a very selfless way. And I was just really impressed by that … So I was really determined to convince her to do it after that.” The film wouldn’t be what it was without the brother-sister dynamic that Maggie and Jake brought to their roles. “Maggie was really an essential piece of the puzzle that makes that family dynamic work in the film,” Kelly added. “I’m grateful that she agreed to do the role.” Dave Franco also went out of his way not to work with his brother James Franco earlier on in his career. “For a while, I made a conscious decision not to work with him, just because I wanted to pave my own path,” Dave said during an interview with Variety in November 2017. “I didn’t want to be referred to as ‘James Franco’s little brother’ for the rest of my life. But we have very similar sensibilities.” Scroll down for more stars who worked with their family on screen: ![]() News broke in April 2022 that the West Wing alum would be starring alongside his son in the upcoming Netflix series, Unstable. The duo will play a father and son on the comedy and serve as executive producers. John previously worked with his dad on 9-1-1: Lone Star. Rob plays fire captain Owen Strand on the Fox drama, while John works as a writer and story editor on the project. Rob’s brother, Chad Lowe, served as a director on two episodes of the drama in 2021 and 2022. Chad was later cast in the series as Rob's onscreen brother for a May 2022 episode. Both Rob and John appeared on The Grinder in 2015 and 2016, playing Dean Sanderson and Joel Zadak, respectively. Chad again joined his brother as a director for one episode of the comedy in 2016. One year later, Rob joined forces with both of his sons, John and Edward Lowe, to film the short-lived series The Lowe Files. The show followed the Lowe men as they explored infamous unsolved mysteries. Bachelorette's J.P. Is 'Back to Normal' After 'Traumatic' Health Battle Posted: 26 Apr 2022 10:42 AM PDT Feeling healed. Bachelor Nation’s J.P. Rosenbaum is in a much better place following his frightening Guillain-Barré syndrome diagnosis. “It was traumatic,” the 45-year-old reality TV alum exclusively recalled during an interview on Us Weekly‘s “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast. “It was life-changing. It was eye-opening [and] put things in a perspective that life can kind of take a turn like that, you know? But after a couple months, I was really back to normal.” The illness causes the immune system to react against the nervous system, which can lead to paralysis and weakness throughout the body. “It can become a chronic condition, but fortunately I am not one of those [cases],” the Bachelorette alum explained. “The odds of me getting it again are the same as me getting it in the first place.” The New York native has been “doing well” since his initial episode, recalling that “it came on within less than 24 hours.” The recovery process was “really, really challenging,” Rosenbaum told Us, adding that it “took probably close to two full months” to regain mobility. During a recent Q&A with his Instagram followers, Rosenbaum said that it was “humbling” to “make a full recovery” after struggling with his health. “I was very lucky to be diagnosed quickly and treated quickly,” he wrote. “It limited the damage to my nerves so they were able to heal … Many other people are not as fortunate.” Rosenbaum was hospitalized in December 2019, revealing in an Instagram Story video at the time that he was struggling with “things you do every day, like picking up this phone, or buttoning buttons, tying shoelaces, putting on deodorant.” His then-wife, Ashley Hebert, noted in a social media upload of her own that the construction manager was “in treatment and doing well.” ![]() Less than one year later, the ABC personalities announced via Instagram that they had split. The former couple met on season 7 of The Bachelorette in 2011 and got married in 2012 before welcoming son Fordham, 7, and daughter Essex, 5. “Our ultimate focus is to co-parent our kids to the best of our ability and to maintain stable and healthy lives for Fordy & Essie,” Rosenbaum wrote in his statement at the time. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all your love and support throughout the years. It has really meant a lot to us! Wishing you all love, happiness, and good health.” Hebert, for her part, noted in a post of her own, “We created the most beautiful children and shared memories that will never be forgotten. Our differences have taken a toll on our relationship and after years of attempting to repair the damage, we've decided that it is in our family's best interest to create new and separate lives for our children.” Us broke the news in October 2021 that the duo finalized their divorce and reached a confidential settlement. Hebert has since moved on with boyfriend Yanni Georgoulakis, but there’s no tension between the exes when it comes to coparenting. “The kids are happy. They’re healthy,” Rosenbaum told Us. “They’re used to spending half the time [with me] and half the time [with their mom]. Thankfully, it’s relatively easy. I know for some, it can be very, very difficult. We are so fortunate.” He continued, “There are times where we have scheduling conflicts where we are able to work it out where I’ll take them for a day that she has them, or she’ll take them for a day that I have them. So it’s pretty seamless.” With reporting by Sarah Hearon |
Every Single Similarity Between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s Engagements Posted: 26 Apr 2022 10:39 AM PDT History repeats itself. Nearly two decades after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez first got engaged, the Oscar winner proposed once more. "Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed," the “Dance Again” singer wrote in an April 2022 edition of her "On the JLo" newsletter. "I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time." She continued: “[I was] trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again. I was quite literally speechless and he said, 'Is that a yes?' I said, 'YES of course that's a YES.’" The Wedding Planner star smiled as she showed off her green diamond engagement ring in several photos in the newsletter. “I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole,” she recalled. “It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could've ever imagined … just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.” After meeting on the set of Gigli in 2002, the pair soon fell in love and the Good Will Hunting star first proposed in November of that year. Their relationship was in the spotlight from the beginning and the “excessive media attention” was one of the reasons Affleck and Lopez called off their wedding just days before they were set to marry in September 2003. They called it quits four months later. “I think different time, different thing, who knows what could’ve happened, but there was a genuine love there,” Lopez told Jess Cagle in March 2016. The Argo director echoed those sentiments in a January 2022 interview with Entertainment Weekly, explaining that focus on his relationship with Lopez completely overshadowed their work on Gigli. “It became a story in and of itself. The funny name, the Jennifer Lopez romance and overexposure of that, it was kind of a perfect storm,” Affleck explained. Despite becoming one of the most memorable flops of their early 2000s, he doesn’t regret making the crime film. “If the reaction to Gigli hadn’t happened, I probably wouldn’t have ultimately decided, ‘I don’t really have any other avenue but to direct movies,’ which has turned out to be the real love of my professional life,” the Justice League star recalled. “And I did get to meet Jennifer, the relationship with whom has been really meaningful to me in my life.” He reconnected with the Marry Me star in the spring of 2021, just weeks after she ended her engagement to Alex Rodriguez. “[They have] always loved each other,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2021. “People close to her won't be surprised if they end up together.” The twosome confirmed that they had rekindled their romance in July 2021 via an Instagram post that reminded fans of Lopez’s 2002 music video for “Jenny From the Block.” While there were plenty of similarities between the two engagements, the “Get Right” performer revealed that they were making one major change this time around. “I think what we learned from the last time is that love, when you are lucky enough to find it, is so sacred and special and you have to hold a little bit of that privately and that’s what we’ve learned,” she said during a February 2022 appearance on Today. “But we’re very happy, if that’s what you wondering about.” Keep scrolling to see all of the similarities between Bennifer’s 2002 engagement and their current one: ![]() Affleck famous proposed to Lopez with a 6.1 carat pink diamond ring, which was estimated to cost $2.5 million. "I met [Barbra Streisand] at an Oscar party, years ago, and I was at the time engaged to Ben Affleck, and she’s really into diamonds, which I didn’t know,” Lopez recalled during an April 2020 interview with Zane Lowe. “He had given me a pink diamond, which got a lot of press and was whatever. I loved getting it, don’t get me wrong. So, she came up to me, and like, she’s heard of it. I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ And she’s like, ‘Can I see your ring?'" In 2022, the Gone Girl actor gave her a ring with an 8.5-carat green diamond, a very rare stone, with two smaller diamonds on the side. "Green has always been my lucky color and now, for sure, it always will be," the Hustlers star wrote in her newsletter shortly after the proposal. The new ring is worth an estimated $10 million. Dan Steinberg/BEI/Shutterstock; Courtesy of On The JLo ![]() When Affleck first popped the question, he arranged for a sentimental, private moment between him and Lopez at his parents' house in Boston. "It's just a blanket, a quilt of rose petals, all over the whole entire house. So many candles, and vases, bouquets. And my song 'Glad' was playing ... I walk in and I was just like overwhelmed. I wasn't expecting it, and I was just like 'Oh my God,'" she recalled during a November 2002 interview with ABC News. After reading her a heartfelt letter, the Daredevil star asked Lopez to marry him."That was just too much for me to handle," she said, adding that he had to remind her that she hadn't said "yes" yet. "I was like, 'Oh! Yeah! Yeah! Yes! Yes!'" His second proposal was equally private and sentimental, taking place while Lopez was in a bubble bath.“I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole,” she wrote in an April 2022 newsletter. “It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined ... just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.” (And just like the first time, the Selena star was so speechless, she needed to be reminded to give an answer.) Shutterstock (2) ![]() In her music video for "Jenny From the Block," Lopez poked fun at all of the attention her relationship with Affleck received, featuring staged paparazzi videos of the couple out on dates and relaxing on a yacht. In that infamous scene, Affleck is seen caressing her back and behind before untying her bikini top. The "Jenny From the Block" video was top of everyone's mind in July 2021, when Lopez shared photos from a trip they took to the South of France in honor of her 52nd birthday. "We were just on the boat! There was no recreation!" Lopez told People in February 2022 about the comparisons between the two boat outings. "I was lying down. ... It was a trip I like to take for my birthday, but no, we were not intentionally recreating it. I didn't know there were paparazzi out in the middle of the ocean either!" MEGA ![]() After costarring in "Jenny From the Block" 20 years earlier, Affleck made another cameo in one of Lopez's music videos. However, for the "Marry Me" video, which was released in March 2022, the screenwriter had a much more subtle presence, with just his arm and neck visible in the final shot. The Last Duel star also gifted Lopez with a remixed video for her single, "On My Way," for Valentine's Day. “I am going to share something very special and personal with you that normally that I would only share with my inner circle,” Lopez wrote via her OnTheJLo newsletter in February 2022. “It’s an early Valentine’s Day present from Ben. Watching it made me think about the journey of true love, it’s unexpected twists and turns, and that when it’s real, it actually can last forever. This seriously melted my heart." YouTube (2) ![]() The couple formerly known as "Bennifer" made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Maid in Manhattan back in 2002. For the event, Lopez wore a ruffled, cream dress with a white fur coat and she and Affleck gazed lovingly at one another on the red carpet. In September 2021, they made their first red carpet outing together since 2003 at the Venice International Film Festival premiere of The Last Duel. Just like the first time, Lopez wore white and the pair only had eyes for one another as they posed for photographers. Shutterstock (2) ![]() “You can’t pinpoint [the moment we fell in love]. We became friends first. That is the honest to God truth," Lopez told Dateline's Pat O'Brien about the origins of their romance in 2002. Nineteen years later, a source told Us that they have "always remained friends," and it was easy for them to reconnect in 2021. "[Ben and Jennifer] had a heart-to-heart and it reignited the spark between them," another source told Us, noting things have “progressed” into something more. In both instances, Lopez was getting out of a serious relationship when she and Affleck fell in love. In June 2002, she filed for divorce from dancer Cris Judd and made her relationship with the Pearl Harbor actor public afterward. She and Affleck later reconnected in April 2021, just weeks after she and Rodriguez announced that they had ended their engagement. Shutterstock (2) |

He and British model Saffron Vadher got engaged in November 2020. “Mr. & Mrs. Peth !!! “I love our life together,” Peth commented. Vadher replied to her new husband, “I love you moreeee.” The banker was previously engaged to Taylor Nolan after getting popping the question on BiP season 4. The two split in June 2018. Peth and Vadher went public with their relationship in March 2020. One day later, Jordan Kimball, who appeared in the third season of the tropical reality show, married Christina Creedon in a Houston, Texas, ceremony. The couple, who announced their relationship on social media in November 2019, shared photos from their big day on social media. The elementary school teacher wore a long-sleeved gown and Kimball looked happy while filling the champagne tower. The bride and groom’s first dance was to “When You Say Nothing At All” by Alison Krauss. The ceremony included traditional vows, with the pair exchanging letters an hour before they walked down the aisle. "I chuckled, I cried, I smirked," Kimball exclusively told Us Weekly of his now-wife's note. Creedon agreed: "It was so hard not to cry the entire time, just from pure joy." The groom revealed he was overcome with emotion when he saw her walking down the aisle. "Seeing her for the first time — we didn't do a first look — and seeing her in her dress, [I started crying]," the Bachelorette alum told Us, adding that he "for sure" expected to keep his emotions in check. "Ever since that moment, I’ve realized how important she is to me. I mean, to cry in front of lifelong friends and family and everything — I’ve never loved her as much as I do today." The pair had been engaged for more than a year. Kimball proposed on Christmas Eve in 2020 while they were at the church she grew up attending. Her love planned the whole event, making sure cameras were there to document the day and her family was nearby to witness the happy moment. "Even when we were sitting in church [after the proposal], I just randomly started crying, like, pure joy," she told Us exclusively at the time. "I watch [the video] like every 30 minutes."
