Hailey Shipped Jelena! Everything She and Selena Have Said About Each Other Posted: 27 Apr 2022 07:01 PM PDT No time for drama. Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) and Selena Gomez have been pitted against one another for years due to their respective relationships with Justin Bieber — but both women have shown nothing but respect for each other on social media. In the early 2010s, years before she began dating her future husband, Hailey would frequently tweet her admiration for Justin and Gomez, who were a couple at the time. (She has since deleted her Twitter account.) "They are the perfect relationship," the model — who married the “Peaches” singer in September 2018 — tweeted in 2012, per Just Jared, ironically musing about how she'll be "forever alone." The then-teenager praised the Only Murders in the Building star as "beyond flawless" in the social media message. The year prior, she defended the then-couple, sharing via Twitter that she "doesn't care what anyone says" about Justin and Gomez — they're "the definition of a teenage dream." The "Yummy" artist and Wizards of Waverly Place alum made their relationship red carpet official in February 2011, posing at the Vanity Fair Oscars party. Though they called it quits by November 2012, they were back on by April 2013. The pair were famously on-off for the next couple of years — and by the end of 2015, Justin was spotted making out with Hailey, though the two weren't officially an item. "What if Hailey ends up being the girl I'm gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it's always gonna be damaged," the Drew House founder told GQ in March 2016. "It's really hard to fix wounds like that. It's so hard. … I just don't want to hurt her." He once again reconciled with Gomez in November 2017, Us Weekly confirmed at the time. However, a source told Us that Justin and Hailey were still in touch via text message, maintaining their relationship was "platonic." By May 2018, Jelena was officially over for good. A month later, Us broke the news that Justin was back with Hailey — and the "Baby" singer wasted no time, proposing to the Rhode Beauty creator in July 2018. The couple tied the knot two months later. Fans immediately connected the Insta Story to the “It Ain’t Me” singer’s latest release, which Hailey vehemently denied. “Please stop with this nonsense… there is no ‘response,’” she commented on an Instagram post about the topic. Jordan Strauss/AP/Shutterstock ![]() Gomez once again slammed trolls in 2010. After Madison Beer — a mutual friend of the two — dined with Hailey, some fans of the “Rare” artist came down hard on the “Reckless” singer due to their feelings that she betrayed Gomez. Not only did Beer defend herself, but the Disney Channel alum came to her defense as well. “This is disgusting reading all of this. This wasn’t intentional whatsoever,” Gomez wrote via Instagram. “I’m so disappointed that people would speak to someone like this. I have known Madison since she was a baby and watched her continue to become the woman she is. There is no issue.” Broadimage/Shutterstock; Chelsea Lauren/WWD/Shutterstock; Chelsea Lauren/Variety/Shutterstock ![]() In 2021, Hailey “liked” two of the Texas native’s magazine covers: her March profile in Vogue and her August story in Elle. I don’t do anything, I don’t say anything. Leave me alone, please. Enough time has gone by where it’s valid to leave me alone. I beg of you. Truly. That’s my only request. Be miserable somewhere else, please.” Courtesy of Hailey Baldwin/TikTok |
Jason Sudeikis Didn’t Know Olivia Wilde Was Served Custody Docs at CinemaCon Posted: 27 Apr 2022 06:08 PM PDT Served on stage. While Olivia Wilde teased her forthcoming Don't Worry Darling at CinemaCon, she was handed a mysterious envelope that left attendees curious about its contents. During her Tuesday, April 26, appearance in Las Vegas, the 38-year-old New York native was handed a mysterious manila envelope that was marked "personal and confidential," per multiple outlets. It contained custody documents from her ex-fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, Us Weekly can confirm. "Is this for me?" Wilde asked while on stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Tuesday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Per the publication, the Booksmart director slid out the paperwork and read from the front page before resuming her speech on the film. "Papers were drawn up to establish jurisdiction relating to the children of Ms. Wilde and Mr. Sudeikis," a source exclusively tells Us, noting that the Ted Lasso star, 46, did not have prior knowledge of when the documents would be delivered. "He would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner." While the O.C. alum — who has been linked to Harry Styles since January 2021 — has not discussed the contents of the envelope herself, she couldn't help but gush over Don't Worry Darling and its stars. "We knew this movie would live or die off her role," Wilde said of Florence Pugh's "brilliant, sexy, fierce and tough" turn as leading lady Alice in the upcoming film, which is slated for a September release. She then joked about her 28-year-old boyfriend's role, calling him "an up-and-coming actor with no other career" and "nothing short of a revelation." Wilde also revealed the movie's official trailer to lucky attendees, including jaw-dropping steamy scenes between the two England natives. Upon filming in late 2020, Wilde and the "Watermelon Sugar" crooner sparked a romantic connection shortly after she and the Horrible Bosses actor broke off their engagement. Sudeikis and Wilde — who share son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 5 — started dating in 2011 before getting engaged two years later. Us confirmed in November 2020 that the couple had gone their separate ways. "I'll have a better understanding of why [it happened] in a year," the Saturday Night Live alum told GQ in a July 2021 interview. "And an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five, and it'll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle." Later that month, a source exclusively told Us how they've navigated their new normal. "She's coparenting well with Jason," the insider said. "Olivia and Jason are better off as friends. They're doing their best at giving their kids a normal life. The kids bring them back together since they are and always will be their number one priority." Wilde, for her part, made headlines earlier this year when she defended her romance with Styles while balancing motherhood. "Parenting forces you to be honest about how you live your life. It puts in sharp, clear focus decisions you're making," the Tron: Legacy actress told Vogue in her January cover story. "I think we owe it to children to be happy. They sense it. They're so intuitive. The idea that you can trick your kids into thinking you're happy is ludicrous." Us Weekly has reached out to Wilde’s and Sudeikis’ respective teams for comment. Shailene Woodley Shares Message About ‘Grief’ After Aaron Rodgers Split Posted: 27 Apr 2022 05:39 PM PDT ![]() Still processing. Shailene Woodley shared a cryptic message about loss and grief days after multiple outlets reported that she and Aaron Rodgers split for good. “Grief expressed out loud for someone we have lost, or a country or home we have lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them,” the Big Little Lies alum, 30, posted via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, April 27. The sentiment, which is a quote from quote from author Martín Prechtel, continued, “Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.” The post concluded: “Seeing grief in this way helps us respect what we are going through, rather than being mired in shame and discouragement on top of the paint we already feel." Hours prior, the Divergent star reposted a clip that appeared to be commentary on her current state of mind. "My inner thoughts: You can't get over this," the video text read, a clip originally shared by The.Soul.Awakening. It was followed by the word, "Me," and a clip of a man making an impossible high jump feet become a reality. Woodley's series of thought-provoking social media posts come days after multiple outlets reported on Monday, April 25, that the actress had split from Rodgers, 38, again after briefly reconnecting following their February breakup. The Green Bay Packers quarterback revealed in February 2021 that he and Woodley were engaged after they started dating the summer of 2020. One year later, Us Weekly confirmed that they'd called off the engagement. "Shailene has been super busy with work," an insider told Us in February, noting that Rodgers is always "focused" on football. "Everything was so different during lockdown, and they had been living in their bubble." A few weeks later, the estranged couple sparked reconciliation speculation when they were spotted at Erewhon Market in Los Angeles. The Insurgent star "hasn't shut the door completely or [she] would've never agreed to meet up with him," the source said in February. In early March, the twosome fueled rumors that they were back together when they were spotted at Rodgers' teammate David Bakhtiari's wedding in Montecito, California on March 5. The pair were then seen traveling together to Florida a few days later on a private plane. A source told Us at the time that the athlete was "trying to get her back" and was still "very in love" with Woodley. The Last Letter From Your Lover actress, however, didn't know whether she wanted to "get back together yet," per the insider. Two weeks later, the duo were again spotted with each other, this time at a romantic wine tasting in Los Olivos, California. "They were seated outside with a group of friends on the patio and enjoyed the wine tasting experience," an insider told Us in March, adding that Woodley and Rodgers "weren't hiding the fact that they were there together." |
Aaron Rodgers, Shailene Woodley's Whirlwind Romance: The Way They Were Posted: 27 Apr 2022 05:39 PM PDT Who manifested who? Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers' whirlwind relationship had fans talking from beginning to end. According to Woodley, the pair met sometime in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. Though rumors about a potential romance were sparked in July 2020, the relationship was kept tightly under wraps for some time after. Fans only found out the couple were dating a few days before their engagement was announced on February 6, 2021. Rodgers previously dated race car driver Danica Patrick. The two began dating in January 2018 and broke up in July 2020. The former pair met in 2012 at the ESPY Awards, years before their romance began. "We both remember meeting each other, it was quick," Patrick said on Jenny McCarthy‘s SiriusXM show in May 2018. "I got his email address, and I remember thinking to myself, 'Oh, not a phone number? Just an email address?'" Before Rodgers, Woodley dated rugby player Ben Volavola. The relationship was first confirmed when the activist posted an Instagram picture holding Volavola's hand in 2017. Following their breakup, the Divergent actress opened up to Bustle in April 2020 about her love life, admitting she'd previously used relationships to "distract" from getting acquainted with her own self. "I was in a relationship with someone and we were very much on the road to marriage and children," she said. "I realized I was still at an age where I wasn't able to fully commit. I couldn't be available to him in the way that I wanted to be. I didn't fully love myself." Both Woodley and Rodgers are fans of mindfulness. After announcing his engagement at the NFL Honors Dinner, the Super Bowl champion reminded people "to read books, to meditate, speak things to life, manifest the desires of your heart, question everything and spread love and positivity." Woodley has previously spoken about her relationship with anxiety and meditation as well. The twosome, however, parted ways more than one year after they were first linked. I didn’t really grow up with sports, especially American sports. Hailey Baldwin Opens Up About 'Scary' Heart Surgery Following Blood Clot Posted: 27 Apr 2022 04:35 PM PDT In her own words. After Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) was sent to the hospital following a blood clot in her brain, she opened up about her experience. "I had a very scary incident on March 10, basically I was sitting at breakfast with my husband [Justin Bieber], having a normal day, normal conversation and we were in the middle of talking and all of a sudden, I felt this really weird sensation that kind of like traveled down my arm from my shoulder all the way down to my fingertips," the model, 25, explained in a YouTube video, which was posted on Wednesday, April 27. "It made my fingertips feel really numb and weird." The New York native revealed that the "Peaches" crooner, 28, had asked how she was feeling but she did not respond "because [she] wasn't sure" before noting that she couldn't speak. Hailey indicated that the right side of her face started drooping and she struggled to form words. The twosome — who wed in 2018 — thought Hailey was having a stroke, which she called the "scariest moment of [her] life." They immediately called for medical attention in the middle of their breakfast before heading to the hospital. “It was like my tongue and my mouth could not form sentences," she recalled, noting that her face only had drooped for approximately 30 seconds. "I noticed that when the speech [eventually] came back and I felt like I could talk, as soon as my anxiety would settle in or hit me, it would make my speech feel funny again." Hailey noted that she was "pretty much back to normal" by the time she arrived in the emergency room. "[Doctors] were able to see that I had suffered a small blood clot in my brain, which they labeled and categorized as something called a TIA [Transient Ischemic Attack], basically it's like having a mini-stroke," the beauty entrepreneur added. "I felt really thankful and grateful that it wasn't worse and I wouldn't have any permanent issues." Stephen Baldwin's daughter was held overnight and underwent a variety of scans and tests, but the medical team had no definitive reasoning behind the cause of her illness. They inferred that Hailey's recent birth control prescription, her COVID-19 bout and a recent long-haul flight may have been contributing factors. After a follow-up appointment, Hailey was diagnosed with a Grade 5 PFO — Patent Foramen Ovale, which is a flaplike opening in the heart per a Mayo Clinic definition. Doctors recommended closing the hole in surgery. "It went very smoothly and I'm recovering really well, really fast," she added in her Wednesday video. "I feel great. The biggest thing I feel, honestly, is I just feel really relieved that we were able to figure everything out, that we were able to get it closed, that I will be able to move on from this really scary situation and just live my life." The YouTube personality previously confirmed her hospitalization last month, recalling how she “started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital," Hailey wrote via her Instagram Story on March 12. "They found I had suffered a very small blood clot in my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours." She continued, "Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I've ever been through, I'm home now and doing well, and I'm so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me! Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love." The Canada native has been staying by his wife's side since her health scare. "Justin has been worried sick," a source exclusively told Us Weekly in March. "[He] feels very out of control of the situation. … [He] appreciates her now more than ever." |
Christine Quinn Tested Negative for COVID Before Melissa Gorga Commercial Posted: 27 Apr 2022 03:32 PM PDT ![]() After Christine Quinn was notably absent from the first-ever Selling Sunset reunion following a positive coronavirus test, she has since been on the mend. “Christine had two negative tests and, in accordance with protocols, she went back to work," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the 33-year-old Texas native, who joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga on the Tuesday, April 26, set of a commercial. Gorga, 43, and the Netflix personality were spotted on set in photos obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, April 27. The footage — which saw the ladies lounging in the sun — took place outdoors following COVID-19 health guidelines. The How to Be a Boss B*tch author was previously left out of the Selling Sunset reunion promo shot, which was taken during filming on Sunday, April 24. "Christine tested positive for COVID and out of an abundance of caution for the cast and crew, she did not attend the reunion," a rep for Quinn told Us on Monday, April 25. "Producers offered her the opportunity to video chat, but she declined because she wasn't feeling well enough to do it." Fellow Oppenheim Group agent Amanza Smith was also absent from taping. Smith, 45, had contracted COVID-19 and joined her castmates virtually to hash out the drama. "Producers were scrambling with the positive COVID test result news for Christine," the insider explained on Monday. "The video chat option was a last-minute offer." The Texas native's photo shoot earlier this week soon caught the eye of other Selling Sunset cast members, who seemingly questioned Quinn's illness. Costar Chrishell Stause tweeted a GIF of TV host Maury Povich saying, "And the lie detector test determined that was a lie" on Wednesday in response to TMZ's photos. Quinn and her real estate colleagues starred in season 5 of the Netflix reality TV series, which premiered on the streaming platform earlier the month. Following her season 4 drama with the ladies, Quinn returned for the new episodes with a new ally, Chelsea Lazkani, as she continued butting heads with the others. "It was honestly heartbreaking and just very disappointing," costar Davina Potratz exclusively told Us on April 21 of the drama with Quinn. "I really care about her as a person and I know she knows that, so I was kind of shocked to see how she talked about me and I couldn't believe it." She continued: "I truly care about Christine. So I'm sitting here trying to defend her actions to people and be sympathetic and empathetic to whatever she's going through, but it's like, she doesn't appreciate it. At some point, I would never hurt anyone, but I have to just then stay out of it because I don't know what's going on." Selling Sunset's reunion airs Friday, May 6, on Netflix. Kristin Cavallari has fully moved on following her split from Jay Cutler. "Through my divorce, I’ve done a lot of reflecting and I’ve really looked inward,” the Laguna Beach alum, 35, said during the Wednesday, April 27, episode of “The Bellas Podcast” with Nikki Bella and Brie Bella. “And I’ve really just focused on myself and making sure that I worked through everything with my ex and really closed that chapter.” The Uncommon James designer and the former NFL player, 38, announced their decision to divorce in a joint statement shared via Instagram in April 2020 after seven years of marriage. Though Cavallari has been linked to several people, including comedian Jeff Dye and singer Chase Rice, since her split, she told the Bella twins that she wanted to make sure she was “fully healed” before entering a serious relationship. “I feel like I’ve grown up the most that I have in the last two years because I’ve essentially been on my own,” she explained. “Really, for the last year I haven’t dated. I mean, I’ve gone on a couple dates, but, like, nothing major.” Earlier this month, the Hills alum made headlines when she was spotted kissing Tyler Cameron for an Uncommon James photo shoot, but she said the connection was purely professional. “He’s honestly the nicest human being on the planet,” Cavallari said of the former Bachelorette star, 29. “I have nothing but good things to say about him. But we’re not dating.” The cookbook author isn’t seeing Cameron, but she recently said that she finally feels ready to put herself out there again. “I am finally in a place where I'm ready for a relationship,” she told fans during an Instagram Q&A session in April. "I've honestly needed the past 2 years to work through some heavy stuff.” Cutler, for his part, was linked to Jana Kramer last year, but he also hasn’t dated anyone seriously since his split from Cavallari. "Jay is still very much hung up on Kristin," an insider exclusively told Us in March. "He still has a lot of love for her and wishes things weren't as they are." The estranged couple — who share sons Camden, 9, and Jaxon, 7, and daughter Saylor, 6 — tried dating again after their breakup, but the Colorado native later said she felt like the spark was gone. “I was, like, it's not there for me anymore,” she said during an October 2021 appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s “Off the Vine” podcast. |
Everything Kristin Cavallari, Jay Cutler Said About Getting Back Into Dating Posted: 27 Apr 2022 02:37 PM PDT Showing people how it is done. Since their split, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler have not held back when it comes to their separate journeys to get back into the dating scene. In April 2020, Cavallari and Cutler announced their decision to part ways after nearly seven years of marriage. "We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart," the pair wrote in a joint statement via Instagram. As Cavallari and Cutler focused on coparenting their three children, Camden, Jaxon and Saylor, they both offered a glimpse at their attempts to move on. In August 2021, the former Chicago Bears quarterback detailed the way dating has changed since he was last single. “The whole landscape has changed. There are apps, there’s Twitter, there’s Instagram, it’s a whole different ball game,” Cutler explained during an episode of his “Uncut With Jay Cutler” podcast. “You’re not just walking into a restaurant or bar and talking to somebody. That doesn’t exist anymore.” The Indiana native, who has been linked to Jana Kramer and Madison LeCroy, noted that there are “aspects that have to be taken into consideration” as he attempts to start seeing new people. Cavallari, however, later revealed that the estranged pair initially attempted to give their relationship one last try. "Jay and I actually went on a couple of dates, like, months and months and months ago,” the Hills alum shared on the “Off the Vine” podcast in October 2021. "But then I was, like, it's not there for me anymore." For the reality star, the attempt to try again gave her the reassurance she needed about calling it quits for good. "The thing with Jay is, we aren't getting our divorce because of love lost, which made it really challenging because we were crazy about each other,” she added. "And so I just decided I didn't want to be in a toxic relationship anymore and I had to break it off.” At the time, Cavallari also reflected on the realization that she is interested in narcissistic men. “So I’m, like, ‘OK I am breaking this f–king cycle. What is this?'” the former Laguna Beach star, who briefly dated Chase Rice after her split from Cutler, said. In April 2022, the Uncommon James founder elaborated on the person she would like to see herself with. “Someone who is so comfortable in their own skin who is stable and has their own s–t going on. I want a good, sweet guy,” she wrote during an Instagram Q&A. “I’m done with narcissist a–holes thank you very much.” That same month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Cutler was still holding out hope for a reconciliation. “Jay is still very much hung up on Kristin,” an insider revealed. “He still has a lot of love for her and wishes things weren’t as they are. They are coparenting well — he just wishes they were still together. He deeply cares about her.” Scroll down for everything the former couple have said about their individual attempts to start dating: ![]() After being linked to comedian Jeff Dye, Cavallari opened up about dating someone new amid her divorce. "That was the moment. I was having fun, you know? It was like, I also want to go out in public as well," she said during the "Scrubbing In" podcast. "[Jay and I] filed over a year ago, and then it took me a minute, but then I dated somebody, and it was great. He was the perfect guy to date after Jay. He was really sweet, made me feel really good. But now I just want to be by myself. And when it's the time, it'll happen. I'm not gonna force it." Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() While reflecting on online dating, Cutler admitted that it was "hard as hell" for him to find someone new. "Meeting people is hard. I think finding out what people really want from you, I think that's probably an issue," he said during his "Uncut With Jay Cutler" podcast. "I'm at a different phase of my life now with kids. It isn't just a purely selfish play by my part." Mike Wulf/Cal Sport Media/Newscom/The Mega Agency ![]() During an Instagram Q&A, Cavallari noted that she wasn't ruling out having more kids with someone in the future. “I don’t necessarily want more kids (my life feels very full — and busy! with my 3). However, if I met someone who didn't have kids, I would consider it,” she shared at the time. ABC/WDTV ![]() The Very Cavallari alum took to social media to address her love life. "You guys are so funny. This is the number one question I got. Sooo let's just start this thing off strong," she answered a dating question during an Instagram Q&A. "I've honestly needed the past 2 years to work through some heavy stuff. I dated a little here and there but no one serious. I am finally in a place where I'm ready for a relationship." The California native also teased that she was happy about what the future holds for her. "Let's just say this: when you are able to finally fully close a chapter, it's amazing what you will start to attract," she added. Stephen Greathouse/Shutterstock ![]() During an appearance on "The Bellas Podcast," Cavallari said that she wanted to work on herself before she started dating again. "Through my divorce, I've done a lot of reflecting and I've really looked inward," she explained. "And I've really just focused on myself and making sure that I worked through everything with my ex and really closed that chapter. ... I don't know how people jump from relationship to relationship. Like, I wanna make sure I'm fully healed before entering something new. I also think just being really comfortable in your own skin and knowing who you are is really important [when] entering a relationship. So, it was important to me to just really get in touch with myself again and figure out who the hell I am now." MEGA; AP/Shutterstock |
Personal Vows! Family! JoJo and Jordan to Wed 6 Years After 'Bachelorette' Posted: 27 Apr 2022 01:55 PM PDT A long time coming! JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are (finally!) set to tie the knot six years after the premiere of her season of The Bachelorette. "I would tell [JoJo and Jordan in 2016] that it’s going to get tough. It’s not gonna be the easiest ride in the beginning, but to lean into your love with each other," the 31-year-old former Bachelorette exclusively told Us Weekly at their Wedding Invitation Suite designed with The Knot in New York City on Tuesday, April 26. "And that's exactly what we did, but at the time, we didn’t know what our fate as a couple in the very beginning in 2016. But I would just let them know that, like, you made the right choice, you guys chose each other and it’s gonna be amazing. And one day, six years from now, you’re gonna get married and it will be freaking awesome. And you’re gonna live through a pandemic and you’re gonna reschedule your wedding twice, but you get there!" Rodgers, 33, echoed his fiancée's statement and then joked he would tell his younger self, "And maybe, like, a little less volume in your hair." The twosome, who partnered with The Knot throughout their wedding planning process, were set to wed in May 2020 but were forced to move their nuptials twice due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, they will exchange vows in Southern California next month. "I've talked to a lot of friends that have not been together as long as we have prior to marriage, but they have said like nothing changes from your day-to-day, but you have this feeling that just feels a little different — going from a fiancé to a husband," Fletcher told Us. "Honestly, I kind of already feel married in a way, but I also know that it’ll be really cool to be like, 'We're finally married!'" Rodgers noted, "We literally called each other fiancé for [all of our relationship] after nine weeks of knowing each other. … So, nothing drastically is gonna change, but I think it will feel different." As for what they are looking forward to on the big day, the twosome can't wait to party with their friends and family. "It's been such a long time coming that, like, getting through the ceremony and walking into the reception to party and have fun with our friends, we're so excited," the real estate developer gushed. "We can let our hair down and just be like, 'We did it! You guys, like, we made it here. We’re doing it.'" Scroll through for more on Fletcher and Rodgers' upcoming wedding: ![]() “Our wedding is in Santa Barbara at a vineyard, it has this sort of Italian feel to it,” Fletcher told Us. Rodgers, who confirmed they never switched locations from their original plans, revealed they looked at wedding venues when he re-proposed in 2019. “I have some family in Northern California, like, my grandma doesn't fly, so we're trying to be somewhere that everybody can make it and she can drive from there,” he explained. Fletcher added, “We just fell in love with the feeling, the venue. We went to a bunch of different venues and loved all of 'em, but there was just something that [felt] really cool.” Phillip Van Nostrand ![]() The pair worked with The Knot for their invites. “We really wanted our invitations to reflect what the wedding day will feel like for our guests,” she told Us about the “classic, timeless and romantic” feel of their Southern California wedding. “We tried to do that with our invitations with the flowy script and the illustration and the olive branches because we wanted our wedding to feel organic and bring in the nature side of it. Everything from the invitations to the save the dates to the signage and the menus, everything is cohesive. I think that they reflect exactly what our guests can expect, which is great.” The Knot Invitations ![]() The duo told Us that they initially weren’t doing a first look, but that’s one thing that changed from their OG wedding plans to now. “Logistically, it makes more sense time-wise. Also, we kinda came around to the idea that having that first moment that we see each other being more intimate and not with a lot of people around was gonna be a really cool, special moment for us,” Fletcher told Us. “So that was like a big shift in like mindset for us. We were adamant we did not want that.” Phillip Van Nostrand ![]() Fletcher and Rodgers are — hoping — to write their own vows. “We said that we wanted to do our own vows,” she began before the former football player interjected, “But we have not started at all. … We should start that.” Phillip Van Nostrand ![]() Fans may already know that Becca Tilley is one of Fletcher’s bridesmaids, but she won’t be the only familiar face there. “We have some [people] from my season, his season, [but] not a huge group, just the ones that we've stayed close with,” she told Us. “But it’s a good group.” Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() Fletcher finally picked up her wedding dress in 2021 — and she still loved it! She plans to have outfit changes, however. Phillip Van Nostrand ![]() The twosome, who also listed their hand-picked registry with The Knot, will jet off to Greece following their wedding. Teresa Giudice: Luis Was ‘Shocked’ by How I Reacted to Margaret in Nashville Posted: 27 Apr 2022 01:31 PM PDT Fighting for her man. Teresa Giudice‘s confrontation with Margaret Josephs during their Nashville trip left more than just the Housewives in shock. “[Luis] does keep me grounded. He does keep me, like, at a calmer pace … he was shocked like what I did in Nashville with Margaret,” the Standing Strong author, 49, tells Us Weekly exclusively about their glass-throwing fight while on vacation in Tennessee. “I explained to him that, you know, I don’t know what happens to me [in a situation like that]. It takes a lot to get me to that point, but we were going through a lot, like, behind the scenes and on the show as you saw. It’s like, every week … a new story coming out and it’s obviously hurting him. [And] whatever’s hurting him is hurting me.” In the April 12 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa accused the Macbeth Collection designer, 55, of leaking stories about her fiancé’s alleged past to bloggers. Margaret vehemently denied her claims, calling Teresa a “disgusting liar.” In response, the Celebrity Apprentice alum threw silverware and a glass of wine at Margaret. “I just felt like Margaret was not being sincere,” Teresa told Us about why she snapped during that group dinner. “You’re not concerned. ‘Cause if you were my real friend, there’s a way of asking something [politely] or how she kept saying, ‘I wanted you to get in front of it.'” ![]() She continued: “I didn’t understand what she meant by that. … ‘Cause she’s the one that questioned me. My real friends in real life are not questioning me. They see I’m a grown woman.” While Teresa has been “through hell and back,” as she told Us, she was worried about Luis, who played a major role in the drama this season. “I was trying to protect him. Like, this wasn’t his world [it] was my world and I felt bad,” the Turning the Tables author explained. “Like, here’s this guy coming into my world and then getting attacked because he’s dating [me] so I felt so bad for him. … I felt guilty.” Her relationship with Luis has been a major point of contention this season, with Margaret, in particular, questioning his intentions and his past. “I was very concerned right from the beginning because things did come out,” Margaret explained during an appearance on Watch What Happens With Andy Cohen last month. “I didn’t have to look for it. So, I was like, ‘Just address it. Let him speak for himself.’ And unfortunately, when he did speak about it, he lied on camera.” ![]() After so much time spent fighting on his behalf, Teresa told Us that she plans to do just that going forward. “You’ll see it, how it plays out at the reunion,” she teased. “He’s amazing. And, you know, from now on, I’m gonna make him speak.” Teresa continued: “Listen, at this point in my life, I’m not trying to fake anything and I don’t have to prove anything to anybody if I’m happy or not. I’m in my own love bubble. … Everything else doesn’t matter. You know, we all know the truth.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. A Guide to Summer House’s Kyle Cooke’s Loverboy Legal Issues Posted: 27 Apr 2022 01:28 PM PDT Through good times and bad. Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula's personal ups and downs weren't the only thing plaguing their 2021 nuptials — there were legal issues looming over them as well. The Summer House costars, who tied the knot in September 2021, took fans behind the scenes of their contentious pre-wedding planning on season 6 of the Bravo series. The show, which filmed in summer 2021, revealed that Cooke's excessive drinking and stress was also related to his financial woes. “I'm in a lawsuit. I've spent $200,000 on legal fees this month. I'm $4 million in debt with the loan for my business. Everything is on the line,” Cooke, 39, told his Hamptons housemates during the April 18 episode of the reality show. “Our florist just dropped out of our wedding.” Cooke founded Loverboy in 2018. His Summer House costar Carl Radke, who is dating Lindsay Hubbard, is the vice president of sales of Loverboy Inc. Batula, for her part, works as the head of creative and branding for the alcohol company. While on screen the group appears to be having success with Loverboy — they have cases of the drinks all over their Hamptons house on the series — Cooke confessed that the company has had its fair share of lawsuits over the past few years. “There’s so much misunderstanding going on right now,” Cooke told pal Danielle Olivera during the April 25 episode, breaking down into tears. “Every day of my f—king … the last three years [have] been stressful.” He added: “When you’re running a company, when you’re trying to, like, plan a wedding. I’m doing everything. … I'm doing a thousand things a minute. I'm like, 'How much more can I do and f—king give?'" Cooke and Loverboy have been involved in several lawsuits since its inception, all of which have since been resolved. The legal drama the TV personality referred to on season 6 of Summer House was his back-and-forth battle with Night Shift Brewing. The entrepreneur settled two cases with the company in 2021, one just weeks before he and Batula wed at her parents' home in New Jersey in September. Scroll down for a complete breakdown of Cooke's legal woes: ![]() The owner of Loverboy Bar, identified as Mos Eisley, LLC, sued Cooke for trademark infringement in September 2020, according to court documents filed in New York. The plaintiff argued that it has been “making commercial use of its Loverboy Mark in connection with Loverboy services” since its opening of Loverboy Bar, which is located in Manhattan’s east village, in June 2017. That included the “marketing and sale of original craft cocktails” and “to-go cocktails” to its consumers under its label. The bar owner claimed that Cooke’s Loverboy name and logo were similar and therefore wanted the Maryland native to pay three times the damages for “willful infringement.” He also requested Cooke no longer use the Loverboy name or logo. Stephanie Diani/Bravo ![]() Cooke’s company filed a counterclaim seeking “declarative relief,” which is a declaration from the court that would state that Loverboy had every right to use the name and that it didn’t infringe on Mos Eisley’s trademark. The brand also argued that the cocktail bar’s audience was limited to New York City, while Loverboy drinks were a broader demographic. The case was settled out of court and dropped in February 2021. According to court docs, the attorneys and “respective parties” agreed to Rule 41(a)(1)(A)(ii) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, which is a voluntary dismissal of the complaint. “All claims and counterclaims are dismissed with prejudice, each party to bear its own costs and attorney’s fees,” the docs stated. Karolina Wojtasik/Bravo ![]() Night Shift Distributing, LLC initially filed an administration petition against Loverboy in January 2021 with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. The alcoholic beverage wholesaler came after the company for canceling its contract with them, which they originally agreed upon in October 2019. In December 2020, Loverboy gave a termination notice to Night Shift which would be effective as of January 3, 2021. The distribution company claimed that Loverboy “did not have a good cause to discontinue sales” to Night Shift, according to court documents. One of the biggest reasons for Night Shift’s lawsuit was that Cooke’s company allegedly served it with the termination of contract paperwork “without case and without compensation.” Heidi Gutman/Bravo ![]() Loverboy filed multiple motions for dismissal with the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission both of which were “allowed” as of June 2021. Night Shift’s cross-motion to “compel arbitration” against Loverboy was denied as was Loverboy’s motion for “expedited decision of respondent’s motions to dismiss.” The ABCC dismissed the administrative petition on June 23, 2021. Charles Sykes/Bravo ![]() Loverboy and Night Shift filed a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice with the U.S. district court for the district of Massachusetts in September 2021. Christina Haack Moves Into ‘Long-Term Family Home’ After Marrying Josh Hall Posted: 27 Apr 2022 01:28 PM PDT Far from a flop! Christina Haack and Joshua Hall's sweet love story has captivated fans since they first announced their relationship in July 2021. Following her divorce from Ant Anstead, the Christina on the Coast star was spotted with a handsome stranger who Us Weekly subsequently confirmed was Hall. Soon after, Haack opened up about her new relationship in a lengthy Instagram post, noting she wanted to "protect" her new beau from all the hard parts of life in the spotlight. "I met Josh when I wasn't in a state of fear or fight-or-flight. … The synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore," she wrote on July 8, 2021. "I felt immediately crazy protective over him and wanted to keep him for myself and get to know each other before the tornado (media attention) hit." The HGTV star then detailed how her relationship had progressed since the pair officially got together. According to a source, they'd first met years earlier during a real estate conference. "We've had a few solid months of just us getting to know each other and I've loved every second of it," Haack wrote. The Wellness Remodel author also slammed critics who said the relationship came along too soon. "Yes 'another relationship' and guess what. I'm 38 — I'll do what I want," she added. "The synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore." Before her marriage to Anstead, Haack was married to her Flip or Flop costar Tarek El Moussa. The California native seems to approve of his ex-wife’s new relationship, having told Entertainment Tonight in July 2021 that he's met Hall "a few times" through real estate work. The Tarek's Flip Side host also said that he thinks Hall "seems like" a good guy. "[I] don't really know him, but I sure hope so," he added. The former costars share two children: daughter Taylor, born in 2010, and son Brayden, born in 2015. Haack also shares son Hudson, born in 2019, with Anstead. "I never thought I would have one divorce let alone two," Haack wrote via Instagram in September 2020 to announce her second split. "I never thought I would have 2 baby daddies – but sometimes life throws us curve balls. Instead of getting stuck in these 'setbacks' I choose to look at these challenges as opportunities to grow. So while some may judge me and throw around rumors about me, most of you support me. And that says a lot about this world and where we are headed. I'm messy, I'm real and I'm working on healing. … We are all a work in progress." Celibate Celebs: Stars Who Have Been Open About Abstaining From Sex Posted: 27 Apr 2022 01:16 PM PDT Over the years, many celebrities have opened up about their personal choice to abstain from sex, whether it’s for a few months or until marriage. In October 2021, Nick Cannon made headlines when he announced his decision to stay celibate after welcoming his seventh child earlier that year. "I'm going to see if I could make it to 2022,” the Wild 'N Out host said during a "Drinks Champs" interview at the time. 'Fessing Up! Every Time the Kardashians Admitted to Photoshopping Their Pics Posted: 27 Apr 2022 01:13 PM PDT These are their confessions. The Kardashian-Jenner family has spent over a decade being accused of heavily Photoshopping and Facetuning their photos on social media — and sometimes, they openly admit to it. Khloé Kardashian in particular has copped to heavily editing her pictures. In 2016, the Good American founder called Facetune "life-changing" in an interview with Chelsea Handler. "It's not real, you are presenting to the world what you want them to believe you are. It's amazing," she said at the time. "I think our society nowadays is so caught up on getting validation from the social world that no one really knows, so they post these things." Khloé and Kim Kardashian have even owned up to altering photos of their kids on social media. The Kocktails with Khloé alum's daughter, True, has even been added into the family's Disneyland posts on Instagram multiple times. In April 2022, the Kardashians star told fans that she superimposed True, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, into photos taken of Kim's daughter Chicago earlier that year. "Welllppp I f—ked this one up," Khloé joked via Twitter at the time. Weeks later, Kim revealed that she also Photoshopped True into more images from the same trip. The KKW Beauty founder replaced Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi, with pictures of True because the Kylie Cosmetics mogul didn't want her older sister to post the photos of Stormi. Still, the Kardashians are also quick to shoot down accusations of Photoshop fails when necessary — like when Kim clapped back at followers who believed she edited out her belly button in an April 2022 photo shoot. "Come on guys. Seriously! This is so dumb! Claiming I photoshopped out my belly button????" she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time. "Belly button insecurities?! Well… why don't you head on over to skims.com to conceal that saggy belly button of yours with a great pair of high waisted underwear like I did! You're welcome!!!" Khloé too has frequently called out trolls via social media. In May 2020, after posting an Instagram photo of herself — which made headlines after thousands of followers claimed the Strong Looks Better Naked author's face looked significantly different — Khloé had something to say when a fan asked what caused her ever-changing look. "My weekly face transplant clearly," she retorted at the time. Two months later, the Revenge Body alum hit back again after a social media user told her that she looked unrecognizable in an August 2020 photo. "Who is that on the right?" the follower wrote, to which the reality star replied, “Your new step mother. Be nice or get grounded.” Scroll down for all of the times the Kardashians admitted to Photoshopping their pictures: ![]() “Facetune is the best thing to bring to the table. It wasn’t that close to your face.” “It wasn’t that close to my face,” Kendall confirmed. NINA PROMMER/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() Khloé was once again was accused of heavy editing on social media after she shared a series of Good American images in 2021 — in which her feet and fingers appear egregiously elongated. While not technically Photoshop, the reality star explained via Twitter the effect was due to “a camera lens that creates a stretching effect. The closer the object is to camera they will get elongated.” She claimed that it was also due to the “angle” of the pictures, writing, “So in some of my photos my feet/fingers look incredibly long. Not to worry! I still have normal size hands/fingers." She continued: “And personally I think this camera lens is so f--king cool. It gives the photo a different vibe and not the same old visual I always see. Either way, I'm happy with them." Halsey Warns They May Go ‘MIA’ After Endometriosis Hospitalization Posted: 27 Apr 2022 11:53 AM PDT ![]() Putting themselves first. Halsey wants their fans to know it's nothing personal if you don't see them for a while. And ultimately demanding that I slow down or stop foreal [sic] this time. Especially so I can be in the best shape for tour.” The “Without Me” singer warned fans not to worry if they decide to go “MIA” for a while — they just need to put their health first. “I am doing the best I can under difficult circumstances,” they explained, before adding that they are dedicated to spreading awareness for their "fellow spoonies," — individuals who suffer from chronic illness. The New Jersey native's announcement comes just weeks after their appearance at the 2022 Grammy's on April 3. The singer was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album but left the awards show early because they "weren't feeling super well." Halsey, mom to 9-month-old Ender, also revealed via Instagram on April 2 that they had surgery for their endometriosis just three days prior to the Grammys but were too excited to miss out on the event. "I’m attending tomorrow for the first time in years, and I had surgery again (you guessed it) 3 days ago," the Badlands singer wrote. "Only posting this to say, if you see me be gentle lol I’m fragile. Fragile but excited.” The pop star was first diagnosed with endometriosis in 2016. They opened up via Twitter about being labeled by doctors as a "big baby about [their] period" and the relief they felt knowing what was wrong. "Finding out I had endo was the most bittersweet moment because it meant I wasn't crazy!" the singer wrote. "I wasn't a 'baby!' I had every right to be feeling like the world was caving in." Since being diagnosed, Halsey has been a strong advocate for those with endometriosis by being open about the struggles of reproductive illnesses. “Reproductive illness is so frustrating because it can really make you feel like less of a woman,” they said during an appearance on The Doctors in 2018. “There’s a lot of times when you’re sitting at home, and you just feel so terrible about yourself. You’re sick, you don’t feel sexy, you don’t feel proud, you don’t feel like there’s much hope. Hopefully, I can have a bright future and achieve the things that I want to achieve." |
Howard Stern Criticizes Johnny Depp’s ‘Overacting’ Amid Amber Heard Trial Posted: 27 Apr 2022 11:41 AM PDT Not buying it. Howard Stern criticized Johnny Depp for his "dramatic" testimony in his defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard. "I was completely unaware how entertaining the Johnny Depp, Amber Heard trial is," Stern, 68, said on the Monday, April 25, episode of SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show. The radio host proceeded to slam Depp, 58, for how he addressed the court during his multiple appearances on the stand over the last month. "The reason he wanted that, he wanted it televised, is that's what narcissists do," Stern explained via IndieWire, referring to the fact that the case is available to the public. "They think they can talk their way out of anything." The comedian confessed that he thinks the Pirates of the Caribbean star is a "huge narcissist," explaining, "What I mean by that is — he figured, 'I'll put this on TV and because I'm so persuasive and because I'm so smart, I'm such a wonderful guy.’" ![]() Depp, who was married to the Aquaman actress from 2015 to 2017, is suing Heard, 36, for defamation in response to an op-ed she penned in 2018. In the piece, Heard detailed her alleged experience as a survivor of abuse, seemingly talking about the Sweeney Todd actor. The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory star took the stand in Virginia on April 19 to "clear the record" about Heard's allegations of domestic abuse, asserting, "Never did I myself reach the point of striking Ms. Heard in any way, nor have I ever struck any woman in my life." Depp then slammed his ex-wife, saying, "It's pretty strange when one day you're Cinderella, so to speak, then 0.6 seconds you're Quasimodo." The Lone Ranger actor — who shares daughter Lily-Rose, 22, and son Jack, 20, with ex Vanessa Paradis — fired back at Heard for her slanderous op-ed. "I didn't deserve that, nor did my children, nor did the people who have believed in me for all these years," he said in court. "I didn't want any of those people to believe that I had done them wrong or lied to them or that I was a fraud. I pride myself on honesty." Stern, for his part, revealed on Monday that he didn't believe what Depp was saying about the alleged abuse and his marriage to Heard. "If he isn't acting — I mean, he's so overacting, 'cause he's writing his own material as he goes along. You know, I got to tell you, he's wrong," he said on the radio show. "He shouldn't be putting this on TV in any shape." ![]() The America's Got Talent judge noted that while Depp may have thought, "I will charm the pants off of America at the trial," it appears to have backfired. "It's not going well for you, it's not going well for her. It's not going well for anybody. You sound like two battling children," Stern added. "It's just coming off really badly." Depp completed his cross-examination on Monday amid the ongoing trail. Heard, for her part, has yet to take the stand. The exes' current lawsuit is the latest legal battle they've been entwined in since they split. The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actor previously lost a libel suit against U.K.'s The Sun for referring to him as a "wife beater" in 2018 after Heard's op-ed came out. Ahead of the April trial, Heard issued a statement about the case while announcing that she was taking a break from social media before heading to Virginia. "I never named him, rather I wrote about the price women pay for speaking against men in power," she wrote via Instagram earlier this month. "I continue to pay that price, but hopefully, when this case concludes, I can move on and so can Johnny. I have always maintained a love for Johnny and it brings me great pain to have to live out the details of our past life together in from of the world." OITNB's Mackenzie Philips and More Stars Who've Come Out As Bisexual Posted: 27 Apr 2022 10:17 AM PDT Sharing their truths. Some of Hollywood's biggest stars have not shied away from openly discussing their bisexuality. Amber Heard revealed in 2010 at GLAAD's 25th anniversary event that she's had "successful relationships" with both men and women. The Aquaman actress was married to Johnny Depp from 2015 to 2017 but she has also been linked to Elon Musk and photographer Tasya Van Ree. As of early 2020, she has been dating cinematographer Bianca Butti. Heard opened up to Italian magazine IO Donna in 2019 about why she chose to publicly address her sexual orientation despite warnings from industry execs and her publicists. "To be silent about something means to admit underneath that that thing is wrong. But I knew it was not like that," she explained at the time, per Cosmopolitan. "So I told myself to describe reality in a truthful way and to offer young people someone to look up to since those of my generation had grown up without any model of reference," the Pineapple Express actress continued. "Who knows, thanks to me, maybe someone has felt less inadequate." Billie Joe Armstrong publicized his bisexuality in the early 1990s. He later spoke to Out magazine in 2010 about how his sexual orientation shouldn't be a concern for his fans. "The fact that it is an issue is kind of phobic within itself. At some point … this should be something that's just accepted," the Green Day rocker said at the time. "I don't really classify myself as anything. And when it comes to sex, there are parts of me that are very shy and conservative. I want to respect my wife." The "American Idiot" crooner has been married to Adrienne Armstrong since 1994. They share sons Joey, Joseph and Jakob. Michelle Rodriguez, meanwhile, has been linked to Zac Efron and Cara Delevingne in the past. After coming out in 2013, the Fast & Furious actress opened up about her decision to publicize her interest in both sexes. "I'm not big on people's opinions, you know? Unless it's somebody I really respect," she told Gay Star News in 2014. "I don't care what people out there have to say. But I do realize the importance of having the bravery to live as who you are and I feel like a lot of people don't have that bravery." Who Is Zack Bia? 5 Things to Know About the DJ Spotted With Olivia Rodrigo Posted: 27 Apr 2022 09:59 AM PDT Good 4 them? Following her split from producer Adam Faze, Olivia Rodrigo has been spotted getting cozy with DJ Zack Bia in New York City. The “Deja Vu” singer, 19, was photographed grabbing lunch with Bia, 25, on Monday, April 25, before going for a walk around New York’s SoHo neighborhood. The Field Trip record label founder appeared to have his arm around Rodrigo as they walked, which continued to fuel romance rumors between the two. The pair were first linked in February when they were spotted hanging out at a Super Bowl party and they “hit it off,” per E! News. Rodrigo and Bia subsequently began casually spending time together although neither one of them has confirmed that they are anything more than friends. That same month, Us Weekly confirmed that the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star split from Faze, 24, after less than one year together. Fans began speculating about a split in late 2021 when Rodrigo opened up about moving forward after breakups in an interview with British Vogue. “Besides cutting off all contact, I think it's important to not only forgive them but forgive yourself for letting everything happen. That's what I've learned,” she said in December 2021. Bia, meanwhile, dated singer Madison Beer on and off for almost a year before splitting for good in March 2019. Earlier this year, he was rumored to be in a relationship with Outer Banks star Madlyn Cline, although he claimed that things weren’t serious during a January appearance on the “BFFs With Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards” podcast. “We are not dating. We hang out all the time,” the New York native said at the time. He continued: “It is one of those things where we really enjoy hanging out and enjoy going to dinner. But we never officially started dating and probably will never officially stop because we are just hanging out. We are enjoying it and not even thinking about what it is.” When he’s not being linked to Hollywood starlets, Bia is best known for performing at parties around Los Angeles and helping up-and-coming rappers get their big breaks. “People don't realize that going to a good party where someone is DJing, you can break songs,” he told Complex in February. “A businessman, a skater, an actor, an up-and-coming musician, and a big musician are all in the same room, connected through music. And we were always finding all the best new artists, super early.” In 2018, Bia and business partner James Canton founded Field Trip records. "We were always behind the scenes, helping records get made out of a love for it," he told Complex. "That turned into artists being like, 'Let me pick your brain on this. What do you think of this brand? What do you think of this new artist? Come to the studio.' We started having this really intimate relationship with a ton of artists." Bia added: “And we were like, 'Wait, we can do this with our own artists.' That's when we started the company.” Keep scrolling to learn more about Rodrigo’s rumored new beau: ![]() Bia started as a party promoter and gained a reputation for throwing star-studded events around the city. Once he became a DJ, his parties attracted big names including Jack Harlow, Kendall Jenner and Doja Cat, and he used his influence to help connect up-and-coming artists with major players in the music industry. "There’s nothing more Hollywood than name-dropping Zack Bia," Zane Lowe once joked on an episode of his Apple Music Radio show. John Salangsang for Flip/Shutterstock ![]() Bia told Complex in a February profile that he was raised by a single mother who introduced him to a wide variety of music from a young age. "My mom’s the coolest," he said. "From an early age, she encouraged me to consume music, buy magazines, go skate. She was putting me on to all kinds of stuff, whether it’s the Red Hot Chili Peppers or Tupac or Eminem or the Rolling Stones." He continued: “When I was like 8 or 9 years old, my first hustle was filling people’s iPods with music, and they paid me for it. ... I was always that kid. I’ve always been able to search and discover new stuff from all genres." Laurent VU/SIPA/Shutterstock ![]() After meeting at L.A. hotspot Delilah, Drake and Bia became close friends, and the DJ has frequently appeared in the rapper's music videos and on social media. "I consider him a big brother," he told GQ in March 2020, adding that they bonded after a nine-hour conversation “about life, music, movies, and fashion.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock ![]() Bia started Field Trip Records in 2018, after realizing his passion for finding and drawing attention to new artists of all genres and now works in partnership with major record labels like WarnerMusic and Interscope. "I think the fact that we’re just so in it, in real time, gives us an advantage,” he told Complex. “We’re not only reactive — we’re also a part of creating that moment. ... Being in the middle of it allows me to amplify what they want to do, and we can be a lot more active in real time than a major label can, which is why I think we’ve had success creating these partnerships." Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock ![]() Prior to his rumored romance with Rodrigo, Bia was most recently linked to Cline in the wake of her split from Outer Banks costar Chase Stokes. "I think, as someone like herself who is extremely busy and is going to start traveling — she's on set five months out of the year — she has such a busy schedule and I think I have such a busy schedule," he said on the "BFFs With Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards" podcast in January. "It is one of those things where we really enjoy hanging out and enjoy going to dinner. But we never officially started dating." London Entertainment/Shutterstock |
‘Below Deck’ Cast Through the Years: A Guide to Who’s Dated Who Posted: 27 Apr 2022 09:21 AM PDT All aboard! The cast of Below Deck and its spinoff series will do just about anything for love … or at least to have a fun crew hookup. After seven seasons of the Bravo series — with more than 100 episodes — there have been plenty of romances to watch unfold. Add in the Below Deck Mediterranean flings and Below Deck Sailing Yacht relationships and viewers have a lot to keep up with. Below Deck's Rocky Dakota and Eddie Lucas served as the guideline for crew members of what not to do while yachting. Chief Stewardess Kate Chastain revealed on the Bravo's Daily Dish in January 2020 that the season 3 secret hookup "ruined it for everyone" moving forward. "This is why we can't have nice things, Eddie and Rocky," she quipped. "I think it was short-lived, but a great time was had by all." Captain Lee Rosbach weighed in on the dramatic relationship — Eddie cheated on his girlfriend with Rocky — saying, "that wasn't a romance." Although Rocky and Eddie's time together was rough for many on board the ship, the next season brought Ben Robinson and Emily Warburton-Adams' sweet relationship. The couple lasted a while onshore as well, but ultimately ended called it quits in 2017. “He’s a magical human being. It was a lot of fun, always unexpected, things coming up. I loved it,” Emily said in a May 2020 installment of Life After Bravo about the couple's time together in Florida. “I was back-and-forth from the U.K., but we were very comfortable living together. It was exciting because we were always traveling around. It was like we were always on the move.” Throughout its five seasons, Below Deck Med also gave life to many memorable couples, including Malia White's two beaus. She briefly dated Wes Walton during season 2, and her boyfriend, Tom Checketts, joined the cast during season 5. After dating for more than a year, Malia announced in September 2020 that she and Tom had gone their separate ways. "Yes, Tom and I have split. The details surrounding all of it I am trying to keep a little private just out of respect to him and I," she said via an Instagram video. "But yes, I am single." Scroll down to see which of your favorite Below Deck yachties has dated who over the years. ![]() The second stewardess left Below Deck Sailing Yacht during season 3, and she found love with Below Deck season 9 deckhand Wes O'Dell. The Florida native hired Barragan as first mate on his sailboat, and the sparks started flying. "I don’t think I’ve had a boyfriend quite as kind and patient and loving as Wes," she explained on the "Gangplank Report" podcast in April 2022. "So it’s new for me because obviously, you guys see how chaotic I am and how intense I am. So being in a normal, healthy relationship — I’m, like, uncomfortable in normalcy, I guess." Laurent Bassett/Bravo (2) ![]() The engineer shared a photo of the pair kissing in August 2021, seemingly confirming their romance. Courtesy of Jake Baker/Instagram ![]() The pair started a boatmance during season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Soares shared details about their connection, specifically the first time she knew she wanted to kiss Lanaux. "I think when we were playing Truth or Dare and he said that he fancied me," the stew revealed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in April 2021. "I don't know, it just made me look at him differently." After leaving the boat together, Dani announced that she was expecting a baby girl as season 2 of the Bravo show was airing. Dani claimed during the reunion that Jean-Luc was the father of her baby, but that he didn't believe her when she told him. "Let's put it this way. This baby was made during the season while we had cameras 24/7 with us and I only slept with one guy," Dani clarified. "He hasn't supported me at all in any way. He thinks it is not his child and he doesn't want to have anything to do with it." In a separate interview, Jean-Luc addressed his ex-girlfriend in a personal message. "Dani, what we had on the show for me was real. I don't care what anybody says, even now that we're going through what we are going through. What I felt for you, and the time that we had, was genuine. Everything that I ever said to you was true," Jean-Luc said in June 2021. He added at the time: "I need you to know that I did support your decision and still do. I really hope that we can coparent together and have respect for one another like we did." The reunion episode revealed that the pair have not yet spoken. Laurent Basset/Bravo (2) ![]() Early in the second season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht the first mate slept with deckhand Sydney even though he was also interested in stewardess Alli Dore.Gary told Sydney after that it was a one-time thing, but Sydney was already hoping for something more. "I feel like, I did make my intentions clear to Sydney," Gary told E! News in April 2021. "Maybe I should've been more thorough with her or told her a bit straighter. I shot myself in the foot by hooking up with her." During the reunion episode, Gary explained that he actually had a girlfriend when he hooked up with Sydney. "We were in a very complicated relationship. I hadn't seen her for eight months prior to me coming on the show. Not seeing someone for eight months and growing apart in those months ... do we put a label on that? No," he added in the June 2021 episode. Laurent Basset/Bravo (2) ![]() Although Gary hooked up with Sydney during season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, his main flame on the Parsifal III was Alli. The duo grew close during their time on the charter with Alli revealing on a June 2021 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she was “enjoying the flirt” between her and the first officer. Even though the duo stayed behind to complete a crossing after season 2, during the reunion they confirmed that they split up shortly after. "It was inevitable that she was always leaving to Australia, so I think in the back of our minds we knew that we could never seriously work because of that," Gary clarified in June 2021. "Regardless of the great chemistry and the ability to make each other laugh endlessly, and also finish each other's sentences." Alli also announced that she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Benny Thompson, during the reunion episode. Laurent Basset/Bravo; Courtesy Gary King/Instagram ![]() The Below Deck Med couple had a rocky romance during their time on the show but ultimately did leave the boat together. Following the end of season 5, the duo confirmed that they were no longer together. "It didn't end on the best note, and we're still not in the best place," Jess shared during the Bravo After Show in October 2020. "It just keeps seeming to build, my disappointment for somebody that I really, truly cared about and loved and thought that I was gonna marry and spend the rest of my life with. So, to go from that to just continually finding out things new every single day is something that's really hard for me and disappointing." Bravo ![]() The pair really hit it off during season 8 of Below Deck. Unfortunately, Elizabeth was more invested in the romance than James, and their time together was cut short when she was fired. Elizabeth confirmed that she regretted getting involved with James during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in January 2021. Bravo ![]() Rocky and Eddie’s hookup during season 3 of Below Deck came with lots of drama. Rocky initially deny their fling, but later admitted that he did cheat on his girlfriend and slept with the third stew, well after fans saw the pair having sex in the laundry room on the yacht. Bravo (2) ![]() Ben and Emily’s season 4 relationship was one that many fans rooted for. The couple went on dates during the season and continued their relationship once off the Valor. The pair lived together in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for about a year after meeting on the show and worked together from time to time. In October 2017, Ben confirmed during an episode of the “After Deck With Kate Chastain” podcast that the two called it quits. Charles Sykes/Bravo; Stephen Coke/Shutterstock ![]() Nico entered season 5 of the series with a girlfriend, but once on board the Valor he called things off with her in order to romance with Brianna. Before disembarking the yacht, Nico broke things off with the stewardess and later reconnected with his ex. Bravo (2) ![]() Deckhands Rhylee and Tyler heated things up on season 6 of the reality show. Their steamy relationship on board quickly ended once they docked, with Rhylee claiming Tyler only pretended they were still together for the social media following. "Bottom line, Tyler's an idiot. And no, we don't keep in contact anymore," she told Bravo’s Daily Dish in December 2019. "He was a good lay, but he's an idiot." Bravo; Courtesy of Tyler Rowland/Instagram ![]() During season 7 of Below Deck, Courtney and Brian had a fling to remember. Despite hitting some bumps in the road — Brian sent a text about their relationship status that seemed like a breakup message — the pair kissed and made up during the season finale. The duo didn’t however pursue a relationship once they got off the boat in Thailand, and Courtney revealed on the After Show in February 2020 that she blocked him after receiving “aggressive” and “venomous” messages. Courtesy of Courtney Skippon/Instagram; Charles Sykes/Bravo ![]() Simone and Tanner had a short-lived fling during season 7 of the Bravo series. After Tanner was very vocal about their sex life, the two decided to be just friends before the charter season was over. Bravo (2) ![]() Malia found herself in a love triangle during season 2 of Below Deck Med, with chef Adam and bosun Wes. The deckhand ultimately chose Wes, and the two even dated briefly after disembarking the Sirocco at the end of the season. Karolina Wojtasik/Bravo; Courtesy of Wes Walton/Instagram ![]() João and Brooke’s season 3 Below Deck Med romance seemed to be headed in the right direction when the series ended but didn’t last long off the ship. During the season 4 premiere, João claimed that the two split because Brooke cheated on him. She denied the allegations, saying they weren’t together when she saw another man. Greg Endries/Bravo; Courtesy of Brooke Laughton/Instagram ![]() The third stew originally formed a connection with Gary during their first night on Parsifal III. After the first officer put a stop to their hookup, Ashley moved on with deckhand Tom, who was interested in her earlier in the season. Laurent Basset/Bravo (2) ![]() Below Deck Med’s chief stew and bosun had a whirlwind romance during season 3. The pair’s relationship was criticized by Captain Sandy Yawn and was derailed by a fight, which resulted in them being friends instead of romantically linked once the charter ended. Ferrier moved on with Josh Roberts in 2018, and the two welcomed daughter Ava Grace in November 2020. They married in March 2022. Bravo (2) ![]() The pair started a relationship during season 4 of Below Deck Med, but once they left the Sirocco, things quickly fizzled out. Jack returned to London and began seeing his ex-girlfriend, and Aesha broke up with him shortly thereafter. Jack has since welcomed his first child with girlfriend Kelly Hidge and Aesha has a new man in her life named Scotty Dobbo. Greg Endries/Bravo (2) ![]() After not seeing eye to eye during season 2, the pair returned with a new approach to their working relationship. During a crew night out, Daisy and Gary packed on the PDA in the hot tub when left by themselves. Ahead of the episode, the chief stew noted that it would be "a stupid move" for her to take her relationship with her coworker any further. "I do think we care genuinely a lot about each other. We did last year, we do this year. So, we have a complicated friendship, but no we are not for each other," Daisy told Us in February 2022. "He is very charismatic, and I get it and I normally am drawn to that. Everyone loves a good flirt, and I don't find him attractive, but I could see the draw. But this season, I think why it got complicated is because we were both a bit upset about how we spoke about each other last season." Courtesy of Daisy Kelliher/Instagram; Courtesy of Gary King/Instagram ![]() When Malia returned to Below Deck Med on season 5, she had a new title and new boyfriend. Malia was the first female bosun in the show’s history, while her beau, Tom, replaced chef Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran as the chef on board. The pair dated for more than a year before Malia announced their split in September 2020. The bosun later opened up to Us about how she found out that the chef was allegedly cheating on her. “Yeah, we were, you know, working on different boats,” she exclusively told Us in July 2021. “It was in the pandemic [that] had just happened. So, it was impossible for us to see each other. It was right when the show is coming out, it's obviously a lot going on in our lives. And, yeah, he found someone else on his boats, and I didn't know for a couple of months.” Malia discussed how she learned about the news “through a friend” and that later “all hell broke loose” between them. (Us Weekly reached out to Tom for comment.) Courtesy of Tom Checketts/Instagram ![]() The Below Deck Sailing Yacht couple began dating before they starred on season 1 of the spinoff series in February 2020. The pair first met when Ciara’s parents hired Paget to teach the family about sailing, becoming Instagram official in 2016. The first mate proposed to Ciara in Italy in July 2020, sharing the news via social media. “I did a thing 🙈 💍 ❤️ #engaged,” Paget wrote alongside two photos of the newly engaged couple on a yacht. Ciara exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2021 that the couple ended their engagement four months prior. "There were a lot of reasons that it kind of broke down. Being in France, we weren't quarantining, we weren't stuck together or anything like that," Ciara said about the breakup. "We were there just kind of living life, but you know I was taking temporary jobs and I just kind of realized throughout taking those jobs that I was happier on my own for a lot of reasons." Paget went Instagram official with his new girlfriend in November 2021. Bravo ![]() Jenna and Adam came under fire from their Sailing Yacht costars for their PDA-filled romance on the Parsifal III. After the charter season, the couple spent time together in Greece and did a cross-country drive together ahead of the holidays. Adam revealed during a May 2020 episode of Watch What Happens Live, however, that the couple is no longer together. Charles Sykes/Bravo (2) |
Alec Baldwin Reacts to News of Halyna Hutchins' Death in New Footage Posted: 27 Apr 2022 09:09 AM PDT A harrowing moment. New video footage shows Alec Baldwin receiving the news that Halyna Hutchins died after the shooting on the Rust set last year. The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office recently released all files related to their investigation of the Rust incident, six months after the shooting occurred in October 2021. In one clip obtained by Us Weekly, the 30 Rock alum, 64, is sitting in a room with two investigators when they tell him that Hutchins died from the injuries she sustained after being hit when a prop gun misfired. “I do have some very unfortunate news to tell you,” one of the investigators tells the actor. “She didn’t make it.” Baldwin replies, “No!” and covers his mouth with his hand, seemingly in shock. The team then tells the New York native that director Joel Souza is still recovering, adding that they didn’t want Baldwin to hear the news secondhand. ![]() In another video, the Emmy winner explains what happened when the gun misfired. “I take the gun out and as the barrel clears, I turn and cock the gun and the gun goes off,” he tells investigators. Additional footage also shows Baldwin practicing with the gun before the misfire. Authorities previously said that the Match Game host was rehearsing just before the weapon went off, noting that the move required him to point the gun at the camera. The Pearl Harbor star, who has not been charged with a crime, has denied that he was responsible for the prop gun misfire that led to Hutchins’ death. "I didn't pull the trigger," said during an interview with ABC News in December 2021. "Someone is responsible for what happened, and I can't say who that is, but I know it's not me." ![]() The cinematographer’s husband, Matt Hutchins, said that he was outraged when he heard Baldwin’s statements about not feeling culpable for his late wife’s death. "I was just so angry to see him talk about her death so publicly in such a detailed way and then to not accept any responsibility after having just described killing her," he explained during a February interview on the Today show. That same month, Matt and his family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Baldwin and other individuals involved in the Rust production. In court documents obtained by Us, lawyers claimed that the Oscar nominee and other crew members "failed to perform industry standard safety checks" for the use of guns on set and accused the production of "cutting corners" on safety measures. "We're used to people coming in from out of town to play cowboy who don't know how to use guns," attorney Randi McGinn said during a press conference in February. "You don't hand somebody a gun until you give them safety training. … No one should ever die with a real gun on a make-believe movie set." |
