Kacey Musgraves’ Nashville Pad Felt Like a ‘New Beginning’ Post-Divorce Posted: 13 Apr 2022 01:10 PM PDT Not her "Golden Hour." Kacey Musgraves has slowly opened up more and more about her divorce from Ruston Kelly — and she's ready to fully heal from the heartbreak. The musicians tied the knot in October 2017 after sparking their romance the previous year. In July 2020, they announced they were going their separate ways. "We believe that we were put into each other's lives for a divine reason and have both changed each other infinitely for the better," the duo said in a joint statement at the time. "The love we have for each other goes far beyond the relationship we've shared as husband and wife. It's a soul connection that can never be erased. … We hold no blame, anger or contempt for each other and we ask for privacy and positive wishes for us both as we learn how to navigate through this." According to their filing, which was obtained by Us Weekly, the pair asserted that they "still have love and respect for one another." Musgraves cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. Two months later, the singers' divorce was made final. A source told Us at the time that while Musgraves "was the one who initiated" the separation, she was "really upset" about the end of her marriage. The "Butterflies" artist didn't publicly address the breakup until February 2021, telling Rolling Stone that there's a small part of her that "questions marriage as a whole, in general." She added, "I mean, I was open to it when it came into my life. I embraced it. I just have to tell myself I was brave to follow through on those feelings." Several months after breaking her silence, Musgraves revealed that she felt a shift in her relationship during the coronavirus pandemic. While she was thriving in her career, things were different at home, causing a number of questions to form in her mind. "Why did I make these decisions? How did I get here?" she recalled wondering in the June/July 2021 issue of Elle. "How can I prevent myself from getting there again? Why do I keep choosing the same kind of people?" Though marriage might not be for her, the seven-time CMA Award winner has let herself fall in love again. She was briefly linked to Nashville-based doctor Gerald Onuoua before going public with boyfriend Cole Schafer. "Life is so much prettier with you in it," the "Space Cowboy" singer gushed in an Instagram comment after the writer shared a handful of black-and-white PDA pics in August 2021. Scroll down to see Musgraves' most candid quotes about life and love after her divorce: ![]() Musgraves told her former spouse that she’s “in [his] corner” while wishing him happy birthday weeks after they split. “Hope you know how lucky the world is to have you in it,” she added in an Instagram Story. Debby Wong/Shutterstock ![]() “It’s nothing more than [growing apart],” the Grammy winner told Rolling Stone while addressing her divorce for the first time. “It’s two people who love each other so much, but for so many reasons, it just didn’t work. I mean, seasons change. Our season changed. … Part of me questions marriage as a whole, in general.” The “Golden Hour” singer continued, “I think I live best by myself. I think it’s OK to realize that. I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on growing up as a woman in the South and being a performer from a young age — we were told to please, to make this person happy. That has to imprint on your code. It kind of erodes boundaries. So, I’m trying to examine things that may not be useful anymore and maybe unlearn some things.” Gregory Pace/Shutterstock ![]() Nearly one year after the duo called it quits, Musgraves reflected on the “crumbling” feeling she experienced during her marriage. “I could have coasted for another couple of years, just not paying attention to my feelings or not really dealing with some things,” she said in the June/July issue of Elle. “I felt, in many ways, on top of the world in my career, but in my personal life, I felt like I was dying inside. I was crumbling. I was sad. I felt lonely. I felt broken.” MEGA ![]() “People have come to know me as someone who really speaks my mind. … I wasn’t going to be a real country artist without at least one divorce under my belt,” the Texas native told The New York Times while preparing to drop her fifth record, Star-Crossed. In the same interview, Musgraves confirmed her romance with Schafer, telling the outlet, “He did not know who I was, which I loved.” Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() The songwriter painted a picture of her post-split life with one of the lead singles from Star-Crossed, titled “Justified.” In the first verse, she sings, “It was a fun, strange summer / I rolled on, didn't think of you / We lost touch with each other / Fall came and I had to move.” The record’s title track, on the other hand, tells the story of “two lovers ripped right at the seams” who “woke up from the perfect dream / And then the darkness came.” Kacey Musgraves/YouTube ![]() Following her long-term relationship with Kelly, the country star was thrown “back to ground zero” in the dating world, she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. She recalled feeling “let down” by someone she’d been seeing after her split who promised to visit her over Thanksgiving. “It was kind of my first few steps into exploring being a single 30-something-year-old person, after a marriage and … nothing for nothing,” she said, admitting she was “really disappointed” by modern dating. “After a huge point in my career, more notoriety, it was a really naked place. We live in this hookup culture, and I'm for it. I'm for whatever makes you feel happy, as long as it's safe, doesn't hurt other people, fine. But I've just never experienced that, the dating app culture and all that. … It was a little shocking.” Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock ![]() “There’s nothing more relatable than sadness,” Musgraves told The Guardian of using her breakup as inspiration for her music. “Actually, going into Golden Hour, I was nervous that I was going to be completely f--ked when it came to creation, because at that point in my life I was happy. It was nice to know that you didn’t have to suffer to create good art. I’m glad I had that experience, and this, I think, just allowed me to dig even more into the pain I was feeling, the trauma.” The songs that made the final cut of Star-Crossed were “a time capsule of all my feelings over the last year,” she said, helping her “to transform my trauma and my pain into something else.” Broadimage/Shutterstock |
Euphoria’s Chloe Cherry: What ‘Having a Sugar Daddy’ Has Taught Me Posted: 13 Apr 2022 01:07 PM PDT ![]() Candid confessions. Euphoria actress Chloe Cherry is spilling all the details on her dating life — both past and present — and the season 2 breakout star doesn't hold anything back. "I'm single but dating around … [I'm vibing with] 10 people," Cherry, 24, told Bachelor alum Nick Viall on his podcast “The Viall Files” on Wednesday, April 13. The former adult film actress — who is known for her sex-positive attitude and for her openness when speaking about sex work, dating and more — added that she's "always liked to keep my options open" so that "I don't need too much from one person." The HBO star added, "At my age, I don't feel like I know yet exactly what I want. Dating multiple people has been the best thing for me to figure out what I want and don't want from another person. She discussed her adoration for one current romantic partner in particular. "We hang out like twice a week and then we don't talk in between then … I really like him a lot and I love spending time with him … but then I just need to do my own thing," she told Viall, 41. Cherry also dove into some of the nuances in her past relationships, specifically with sugar daddies. "I don't have any sugar daddies anymore. I do still talk to some of those sugar daddies as friends, but we're just friends now. I used to have a bunch of them," she revealed to the Bachelor Nation alum on Wednesday. "Having a sugar daddy is kind of like dating except you're dating for different reasons because they are providing something for you, so you're dating based off of what they're providing for you." But this relationship arrangement, Cherry explained, wasn't just about the transactions for her — she also gained a real sense of what she is looking for in a partner and what a suitable guy means to her. "Having a sugar daddy taught me a level of acceptance of treatment," the actress divulged. "I will never again accept a guy that doesn't want to at least try to take care of me in some way or be chivalrous in some way. Why would I accept that when I know it is out there? I know there are people out there that want to treat me really well." Cherry is also looking for people who will treat her own Euphoria character, Faye, with kindness. As the star told Variety in February, she believes Faye — a drug addict living with Fez (Angus Cloud) — has the potential for a close bond with Rue (Zendaya), a story line she hopes will happen in season 3. "They'd vibe for sure. I think Faye has a story of addiction to tell as Rue does; even though it's different, I think that they could learn something from each other," she told the publication. "I also think Rue is a non-judgmental character, and I think that is all Faye needs. I think if they got closer, they would get along because they have these shared experiences and they are both chill girls in spite of it." |
RHONJ's Traci Compares Teresa to an Animal for Throwing Drink at Margaret Posted: 13 Apr 2022 01:00 PM PDT Drinks flying in Nashville. Teresa Giudice and Margaret Josephs' feud reached a boiling point during the Tuesday, April 12, episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. While dining in Nashville Teresa, 49, accused Margaret, 55, of sharing information to bloggers about her fiancé, Luis "Louis" Ruelas, which prompted the Caviar Dreams Tuna Fish Budget author to call her a "sick disgusting liar." Teresa then threw several drinks across the table and called Margaret a "f—king bitch." Traci Lynn Johnson, a new member of RHONJ, was seated next to Margaret during the argument and recalled the "shocking" moment. "I did not see that coming quite honestly. I don’t think I ever would’ve anticipated an almost 50-year-old woman clearing a table of drinks at someone. That just isn’t people I associate myself with," Traci, 35, exclusively revealed on the Wednesday, April 13, episode of Us Weekly's "Getting Real with the Housewives" podcast. "So, that was shocking and what Marge was saying, wasn’t something that warranted that reaction." The Bravo newcomer, who joined the show with her husband, former NFL player Tiki Barber, stayed beside Margaret after the altercation because she didn't believe she spread the rumors and her friend "needed the support.." "I don’t think Marge would ever do that. I think Marge has the 4-1-1 on everyone in New Jersey. I’ve never met someone that knew more people, knows about everyone. She knows my landscaper’s brother’s son. I mean, she knows everyone in this Garden State, and I think people just come to her with information and what she does with it, she does," Traci explained to Us. "But she would never, ever give information to the press about Luis because that was her friend. She only wanted the best for Teresa." Being a new member on the show, Traci admitted that the fight not only left her stunned, but a bit emotional as well. "I cried. I don't think they showed it, but I cried," Traci revealed to Us. "I was like, 'I am so sorry. I brought you [Tiki] into these crazy people.’ It was like an image of a zoo. It was like they let the animals out of the cages." As for where Teresa and Margaret stand today? Traci teases that this will be a hot topic at the upcoming RHONJ reunion but admits, “There’s always hope out there, but I’m not really sure." The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET |
Is Kaley Cuoco Dating Again After Karl Cook Split? She Says ... Posted: 13 Apr 2022 12:17 PM PDT ![]() Not quite there yet! While reflecting on her love life, Kaley Cuoco revealed that she is "not dating anybody” at the moment. "I spend a lot of time with my dogs and my friends,” Cuoco, 36, shared during an interview with Extra on Tuesday, April 12, noting that she has also developed a strong friendship with costar Zosia Mamet. "[She] has been living with me. Her husband let her go with me for a few weeks.” The Flight Attendant star praised Mamet, 34, for “taking care” of her while they promote season 2, which debuts on April 21 on HBO Max. Cuoco added, “I’m really enjoying my friends right now — [it is a] special time." The California native’s rare insight into her personal life comes amid her divorce from Karl Cook. The former couple started dating in 2016 after their love for animals brought them together. "I finally found my horse guy,” Cuoco said during an interview on The Talk in September 2016. “It was very meant to be. He's an amazing rider, amazing equestrian and a great human. We shared a passion for horses and dogs. It's been lovely." After one year of dating, Cuoco and Cook, 31, got engaged and tied the knot in June 2018. The 8 Simple Rules alum later revealed that she was living separately from the professional equestrian following their nuptials. "We've been married for a year and a half, been together for almost four years and this quarantine has forced us to actually move in together," Cuoco, was previously married to Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016, told Jimmy Kimmel in April 2020. "It's been great for our relationship, and we like each other we realized, which is even better." However, in September 2021, the pair took to social media to announce their split. “Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” they wrote in a joint statement at the time. “We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary. We made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details.” Us Weekly confirmed that Cuoco filed the divorce paperwork the same day. According to legal documents obtained by Us, the Golden Globe nominee listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. A source exclusively told Us at the time that Cuoco has been “positive” and “open-minded” when it comes to her future. “Dating just doesn’t seem to be her focus right now,” the insider shared in December 2021. “She’s really happy where she is in life.” |
Jenna Bush Hager Absent From ‘Today’ Show After Testing Positive for COVID Posted: 13 Apr 2022 12:05 PM PDT The pandemic isn’t over. Just as it did in 2020 and 2021, Hollywood’s A-list continues to be affected by COVID-19 in 2022 — but they largely attribute their fast recoveries to vaccines. In January, Late Night With Seth Meyers only returned from holiday break for one show before suddenly having to go on hiatus amid the omicron variant’s prevalence. “The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!),” Seth Meyers wrote via Twitter on January 4. “We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!” Meyers’ fellow NBC late night host Jimmy Fallon revealed a day prior that he’d recently recovered from COVID-19. The Saturday Night Live alum made it clear that he tested negative before returning to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 3. “Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid,” he captioned a photo via Instagram of himself masked in a room marked “reserved for testing use.” The room was decorated with an iconic Diff’rent Strokes quote, which Fallon appreciated. He continued, “I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who work so hard around the clock to get everyone vaxxed. Thank you to NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great job – and also thanks for putting me in the ‘What 'chu talkin' about Willis?’ isolation room when they told me the news.” In the comments section, Fallon told a fan that he completely recovered, writing, “The positive came back on 12/18. Back at work today and feeling 100%!” The NBC hosts both advocated for vaccination. As of January, the CDC recommended a booster shot for people over age 16 five months after completing the primary series. Meyers and Fallon each had a booster before testing positive. Similarly, Whoopi Goldberg also had a breakthrough case amid the highly contagious variant’s spread. Her View cohost Joy Behar announced the news on January 3 and said the Sister Act star was expected to be fully recovered within a week. “Why am I here instead of Whoopi? Well, Whoopi, unfortunately, tested positive over the break, but she’ll be back probably next week,” Behar explained. “Since she’s vaxxed and boosted, her symptoms have been very, very, mild. But we’re being super cautious here at The View.” The daytime talk show opted to film remotely for the week in the midst of Goldberg’s positive test. “They say there’s no place like home for the holidays and that’s exactly where we are this year,” Behar said. “Happy New Year from all of our living rooms. As you can see, we’re back in boxes and doing the show remotely — hopefully for just a week. I’m praying that it’s just a week, but you never know because this omicron thing is all over the place.” See the stars who have tested positive for COVID-19 in 2022: ![]() The Sex and the City alum tested positive for the virus on April 7. Viola Davis Mourns 'Unique and Awesome Comedian' Gilbert Gottfried Posted: 13 Apr 2022 12:00 PM PDT Always in their hearts. Celebrities including Jason Alexander and Kathy Griffin mourned the loss of comedian Gilbert Gottfried after his death on Tuesday, April 12. The beloved stand-up — who famously voiced Iago in 1992's Aladdin and the animated series by the same name from 1994 to 1995 — was 67 years old when he passed. "We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Gilbert Gottfried after a long illness," the late star's family announced on Tuesday via a social media statement. "In addition to being the most iconic voice in comedy, Gilbert was a wonderful husband, brother, friend and father to his two young children." The statement concluded: "Although today is a sad day for all of us, please keep laughing as loud as possible in Gilbert's honor." Gottfried is survived by his wife, Dara Kravitz, and their two children, Lily, 14, and Max, 12. The New York native's rep confirmed Gottfried's death via a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday, revealing that the Hassle at the Castle actor died from Recurrent Ventricular Tachycardia due to Myotonic Dystrophy type II. The genetic disease is rare, according to the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. It affects the muscles and other body systems with symptoms such as muscle weakness, pain and stiffness. "Gilbert's brand of humor was brash, shocking and frequently offensive, but the man behind the jokes was anything but," Gottfried's friend and "Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast!" cohost Frank Santopadre said in a statement. "Those who loved him and were fortunate enough to share his orbit knew a person who was sweet, sensitive, surprisingly shy and filled with a childlike sense of playfulness and wonder. He'll be dearly missed by family, friends, fans and comedy lovers the world over. To quote Gilbert himself, 'Too soon!'" Gottfried broke into the entertainment industry as a teenager and became a household name with the help of his voice work on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and Cyberchase. Throughout his career, Gottfried's humor touched many, including Alexander, 62, who paid tribute to the late actor on Tuesday. "Gilbert Gottfried made me laugh at times when laughter did not come easily. What a gift," the Seinfeld alum wrote via social media. "I did not know him well but I loved what he shared with me. Griffin, for her part, was stunned by the news of Gottfried's passing, sharing three broken heart emojis alongside her Twitter tribute to the Problem Child actor. He was a wonderful pal and a great dad to young Max and Lily. My heart goes out to Dara who took such great care of him. I'm devastated to hear about Gilbert Gottfried's death. He was unique and brilliant. Just gutted,” the 68-year-old actor tweeted. Armstrong later shared a throwback photo with Gottfried from the early ‘80s when the friends were in Madrid, Spain together. “We were constantly being mistaken for one another so we developed an idea for a sitcom, starring us, called Thicker Than Water,” he recalled. “We would play twin brothers: my character was a surgeon, his an NBC page. Nobody bit but it still makes me laugh. 💔💔💔.” Amanda Schwab/Starpix/Shutterstock ![]() The 58-year-old comedian recalled seeing the late star on tour in the ‘80s, noting just how funny he was in person. “I saw Gilbert perform in 1985 and when he entered to applause he said, ‘Thank you, thank you very much.’ He then continued to say ‘thank you’ repeatedly for ten full minutes,” O’Brien revealed via social media. “It was the nerviest, funniest thing I had seen. Wedding Planning! Tia Booth and Fiance Taylor Mock’s Relationship Timeline Posted: 13 Apr 2022 11:13 AM PDT Finding love off the beach! Tia Booth may have not realized it at the time, but she met The One in Taylor Mock before she even returned to Bachelor Nation for a second stint in Paradise. Fans met the Arkansas native on season 22 of The Bachelor. While she didn't find love with Arie Luyendyk Jr. on the 2018 season, she appeared on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise later that year. At the time, Booth was attempting to work things out with Colton Underwood, her ex who competed on Becca Kufrin's season 14 of The Bachelorette. Booth and Underwood, who came out as gay in April 2021 after he was named the season 23 Bachelor, left Mexico solo in 2018. The physical therapist was then linked to Big Brother's Corey Brooks until their 2019 split. After years off of TV, Booth appeared on the 2021 season of BiP, dating Kenny Braasch, James Bonsall and Blake Monar. In the end, however, she found love when she returned to Nashville and started spending time with Mock, whom she met months before filming the series. "He got the balls one day to try to hit on me and get me to hang out with him, and I was like, 'Sweetie, I'm going on Bachelor in Paradise. I'll see you later,'" she recalled on the "Click Bait" podcast in October 2021. "Then after I got home, I was like, 'Damn, this freaking dude has been right here trying this whole time, which is all I asked for on the show.' So then I gave it a shot and we've been good." She added at the time: "He's an angel. He really is really sweet, and he's been doing sweet things for me for months. It's just scary being public. In the public eye, everybody pays attention to every little detail." Less than one year later, Mock proposed to Booth on stage at the Atlanta stop of Bachelor Live On Stage. “Becca and Thomas [Jacobs] knew and, like, the people behind the scenes on The Bachelor Live On Stage tour knew because they had to help set it up so completely shocked,” Booth revealed after the proposal in April 2022. “My mom knew of course. Taylor and her had been talking about it for a few a weeks. She is stone cold. I didn’t catch on from her at all. Taylor asked for my mom’s blessing. He didn’t get a chance to ask my dad for his blessing before he passed but he asked my mom and I know my dad would have said yes. He would have given him a hard time but he would have said yes.” Scroll through for a timeline of Booth and Mock's romance: ![]() The twosome met at a party in Nashville. Maybe once we’re on the other side of it I’ll write a book to explain, but for now here’s some genuine soft smiles.” Courtesy of Taylor Mock/Instagram ![]() Mock popped the question. “Never been more shocked or sure in my life💍 I love you so much Tay, my FIANCÉ!!!” she captioned snaps from the proposal. Days later, Booth gave more details of the moment, writing via Instagram Stories: "We think* he said 'Sorry BIP didn't work out for you. I'm glad you came back to Nashville to me?' Something or other. 'I wanna spend the rest of my life with you? Got down on one knee— Will you marry me?'" She also gave an update on wedding plans, explaining, "I've been saying for a while I wanted to elope and not deal with wedding planning, but now that it's here I wanna have a big wedding.” Courtesy of Tia Booth/Instagram |
Comedian Ali Wong and Justin Hakuta's Relationship Timeline Posted: 13 Apr 2022 10:37 AM PDT The way it was. Ali Wong frequently gushed over — and roasted — Justin Hakuta in many of her comedic sets amid the twosome's romance. "I got married at City Hall because I didn't want to have a formal wedding because I'm a stand-up comic and I was like, 'I don't want to walk down the aisle for 60 seconds while people stare at me in silence.' That would give me PTSD," the Always Be My Maybe star recalled of her nuptials during an October 2019 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "So, we just got married at City Hall!" The pair tied the knot in November 2014 after signing a prenuptial agreement, which Wong often mentioned in her comedy specials. "No one could have predicted this outcome," the California native joked during her Hard Knock Wife special, which debuted on Netflix in May 2018. "So much so, that before we got married, his family made me sign a prenup. It's true, and now if we get divorced, their son is f–ked. No more sashimi on a Tuesday! No more fancy Japanese toilet bidet where water comes out and Hello Kitty sings the song until your butthole's fresh and clean. Go back to drinking flat water, bitch!" She added: "It is said that if you earn more in the relationship, then you are the breadwinner. I think my husband's the real breadwinner because he won a bread machine. Being a woman and the breadwinner is not all that, OK?" The Harvard Business School grad has been a fervent supporter of Wong's blossoming comedy career, even selling merchandise at her live shows. "Portland has lovely mobs @aliwong #MilkAndMoneyTour," Hakuta captioned an Instagram video in March 2019 outside one of the Dear Girls author's events in Oregon. While Hakuta — who works as a vice president for a tech company — has been happy to sell shirts and posters with Wong's face on it, he prefers to stay out of the spotlight. "He has his own thing going on too," the Birds of Prey actress told Health in March 2020 of her then-spouse. "But it's definitely weird. I'm very open about the fact that we go to therapy. We talk a lot about the transitions that we go through as a couple. He is so happy for me, but this lifestyle is not what he expected." She continued at the time: "Well, we've figured certain things out. He's not an event person. So we decided that he's not going to come to any more events — it's just not how he wants to spend his time. I get it. I think in some ways it's easier for women because it's fun to get a dress. When you have a successful man, [going to events] can be his wife's whole life, and she will jujitsu that s—t into being a lifestyle blogger. All the power to those women!" The duo — who welcomed daughters Mari and Nikki in 2015 and 2017, respectively — eventually announced their plans to divorce after eight years of marriage. He sells posters and he wears workout gear because he’s sweating.” She added: “And then there [are] some women who proposition him, and I’m like, ‘Bitch, aren’t you supposed to be my fan? Ireland Baldwin ‘Couldn’t Be Happier’ About Decision to Get Plastic Surgery Posted: 13 Apr 2022 10:05 AM PDT Standing her ground. Ireland Baldwin defended her decision to get plastic surgery, explaining that she strives to always be “open and transparent” with her followers. “Y'all are such a riot. Let's have a little talk,” the model, 26, said in a TikTok video posted on Wednesday, April 13, wearing bandages from her recent FaceTite procedure. “Either you're going to get mad at people, who aren't open and transparent about the work they've had done to themselves. Or, you're going to get mad at people for getting work done to themselves. You don't have both.” Baldwin revealed on Saturday, April 9, that she had undergone the procedure by posting matching pictures with her cousin Alaia Baldwin Aronow via Instagram. “Cousins who FaceTite together, stay together,” the pair wrote alongside a selfie that showed them both with their chins wrapped in bandages and sunglasses on their eyes. Describing it as an "hour-long, in-office procedure,” Baldwin explained on Wednesday that she decided to get FaceTite in order to get rid of a “stubborn pocket of fat and extra skin” on her face that was making her insecure. "As I've gained weight and as I've aged, it hasn't gone away at all. It's only become worse and worse,” the California native explained, adding that she first tried diet and exercise to eliminate it before choosing to undergo surgery. “I tried to find the most age appropriate and minimally invasive option.” She continued: “I'm 26. I'm not underage. I'm a consenting adult who made this choice and I couldn't be happier.” ![]() Baldwin went on to explain that while it’s “not anyone’s business” what she chooses to do with her body, she wants to be honest with her followers, many of whom are younger than her. "I choose to be as open and transparent about these kind of things because I don't want to be misleading,” she said. “I never use filters on here. I’ve had no other modifications done to my body or my face. … This is something that really, really bothered me my whole life and I decided to do something about it.” She concluded: “Would you rather I got this done and lied to you all about it or can we just have a little fun here and stay out of other people’s business?” Baldwin, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, has frequently been open about her relationship with her body, revealing in August 2018 that she previously suffered from anorexia. "I battled with many eating disorders and body issues as a younger girl and it took me a long time to find self love and acceptance!" she wrote via Instagram at the time. "Trust me, all of that pain and destruction I inflicted on myself wasn't worth it. Turning down so. Many. Sides. Of. Fries. Wasn't worth it!" One year earlier, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model explained that she was confident in her skin. "I am not going to be body-shamed for being pale or not stick thin," Baldwin wrote via Instagram in June 2017. "I'm not going to spend hours Photoshopping my authenticity away. I'm not going to beat myself up for not looking like someone else.” |

Kim Kardashian's Lawyer Laura Questions Kanye West's Behavior Amid Divorce Posted: 13 Apr 2022 09:32 AM PDT ![]() Expert opinion. Kim Kardashian‘s divorce attorney, Laura Wasser, addressed her client’s high-profile divorce from Kanye West — starting with the rapper’s decision to air out his issues on social media. "There’s no reason that you need to come out publicly and make statements about somebody when you’re going through what should be a pretty private thing. I mean, 'Hi, Kanye West,'" Wasser, 53, said during an interview with Bustle on Wednesday, April 13. "Forgetting my involvement with that, the whole world has watched [and thought] that’s probably not the best way to go about things, particularly as a parent." The attorney has been representing Kardashian, 41, since the reality star filed for divorce from West, 44, in February 2021 following nearly seven years of marriage. Later that year, the Skims founder requested to be declared legally single and to restore her last name. Her wish was granted on March 2. West, for his part, has previously expressed that he would like to make his relationship with Kardashian work. After the California native moved on with Pete Davidson in October 2021, the Yeezy designer used his social media to call out the relationship. At the time, West also questioned why his 8-year-old daughter, North, was allowed to make her own account on TikTok, citing the age requirement for the app. "SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?" West, who also shares Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, with Kardashian, wrote via Instagram in February. In response, the KKW Beauty founder called out West for his “constant attacks” in a rare public statement amid their divorce. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness,” she explained in her own Instagram post at the time. “Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye's obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all." The businesswoman continued: "I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably." Wasser, for her part, offered some insight when it comes to how a child’s access to the internet could play out during divorce proceedings. "You would tell the judge, 'I don’t want him on TikTok,'" she detailed on Wednesday. “The judge gets to decide, 'Yes, you can be on. No, you can’t. Can you put your kid on social media with you in a picture?'” The lawyer’s interview comes one month after Kardashian was declared legally single. A source exclusively told Us Weekly after the ruling that Kardashian is “truly happy” with her legal single status. “It’s a positive step forward in the divorce. Even though other issues are still being disputed, it’s a huge weight off her shoulders,” the insider shared last month. “She longs for the day when things finally calm down and Kanye accepts the reality of the situation, that she's moved on and doesn't want his drama interrupting her as she tries to move on with her life.” More recently, Kardashian revealed that there were periods of time after she filed for divorce that she had no contact with West. "We went about eight months without even speaking to each other at the beginning of the divorce. And then, you know, we started talking again and I went to the Donda premiere," she said during an episode of the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast on Tuesday, April 12. "I mean, he would still see the kids and stuff, him and I just took a minute of not talking and I think in all relationships, it’ll be like that." The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum noted that her relationship with West works well when “things are calm” between them. “We don’t really communicate, but I think that’s OK sometimes," she added. "And I think that we will. We always will. That’s just who I am. I spent a decade of my life with this person, and I just have so much love for him. So that’ll never change, but it doesn’t mean that they’re the right one for you and that’s OK too." |
So Hoppy Together! How Celebrity Couples Celebrate Easter Through the Years Posted: 13 Apr 2022 09:12 AM PDT Hoppily ever after! John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Prince William and Duchess Kate and more celebrity couples have dutifully given fans a glimpse of their memorable Easter celebrations through the years. Legend donned a full-body rabbit costume to surprise daughter Luna and son Miles during the holiday in April 2021. While Luna knew the Voice coach was under the mask the whole time, she enjoyed dancing with her dad in costume. Her mom, Teigen, also enjoyed Legend's special outfit. "My bunny," the Cravings founder captioned an Instagram snap at the time, sitting on Legend's lap as he held two bottles of alcohol. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for their part, frequently attend annual Easter Day church services alongside other members of the royal family. Additionally, they annually team up to give their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis — special celebrations at home once they return. "They don't allow George, Charlotte and Louis to have chocolate and sweets every day, so it was a real treat," a source exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2021, noting that the twosome — who wed in April 2011 — organized an Easter egg hunt and helped their little ones bake a chocolate cake covered in mini-Cadbury eggs. The royal duo also wished their followers a happy celebration with an Instagram video of a chocolate egg that had "Happy Easter" scrawled on the front in frosting. "Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter While many stars opt for a festive party or a solemn church service, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari kicked off their 2021 holiday plans in the gym. "Happy egg hunting! Starting the day with a great workout After the pair's gym session, Spears changed into a cropped floral peasant blouse and a pair of white shorts, which she rocked again one month later. "Remember when we all celebrated Easter last month Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, for their part, celebrated their first Easter after their December 2018 nuptials with his parents. "Happy Easter from ours to yours," the Quantico alum — who welcomed a baby girl with the Jonas Brothers musician via surrogate in January 2022 — captioned an April 2019 Instagram photo. Is Kylie Jenner's BFF Stassie Still Friends With Jordyn Woods? She Says ... Posted: 13 Apr 2022 09:12 AM PDT No longer best friends forever. Kylie Jenner‘s pal Stassie Karanikolaou revealed that she’s not close to Jordyn Woods anymore — but not for the reason fans might assume. “Oh, no,” the Instagram influencer, 24, said when she was asked about whether she still stays in touch with Woods, 24, during the Wednesday, April 13, episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “For my own reasons. This is the first time … I’m ever saying this but it’s for my own reason.” Karanikolaou, Woods and Jenner, 24, were close friends for years, with the model frequently appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Life of Kylie alongside the makeup mogul. However, in February 2019, Woods was spotted getting cozy with Khloé Kardashian‘s on-and-off boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, during a party at the 31-year-old NBA player’s home. “Everyone could see that Tristan and Jordyn were all over each other,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. ![]() Woods, for her part, admitted to kissing Thompson during a March 2019 appearance on Facebook’s Red Table Talk, but she stressed there was “no passion” and denied going any further that locking lips. “Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him,” she argued at the time, adding that sleeping with him was “never a consideration” for her. “Never once did we leave the public area [and] go to a bedroom [or] a bathroom.” In the aftermath of the cheating scandal, the California native’s relationship with Jenner’s famous family fell apart. "Kylie is still very hurt and disappointed by Jordyn's actions and her decision-making," an insider told Us about the situation in June 2019. "It completely shattered Kylie for a bit and left her feeling very conflicted." However, Karanikolaou maintained during her podcast appearance that the scandal and its subsequent drama had nothing to do with why she and Woods drifted apart. “I was not following anyone else,” she said. “I’ve had my own reasons and that’s it.” After declining to elaborate on her comments, she added: “I just want to protect everyone.” Woods previously hinted at the end of her friendship with Karanikolaou in November 2019, telling Us at the time, “I don't really have a core friend group right now. I have my family. All of my friends are my family. A lot of my best friends are my childhood best friends and people that I've known for two decades.” Jenner, meanwhile, reflected on the falling out in June 2021, revealing that she spoke with the Masked Singer alum once the scandal died down. “Jordyn and I did have a talk after that,” the Kylie Skin founder said during the KUWTK reunion. “When we were friends, we never thought that we wouldn’t be friends. It was kind of an overnight thing, and, you know, when she did something to my family, it felt like she did something to me.” Kardashian, however, said during the special that she had forgiven Woods for her part in the cheating scandal. “I don’t have any grudge against Jordyn. I think people make mistakes. People live and they learn. And I forgive both parties,” the Good American founder explained, later adding that she wouldn’t be upset if Jenner decided to reconnect with her former friend. “I have told Kylie intimately that I would genuinely not care whatsoever if Kylie wants to be her friend again. My sisters matter way more to me than any grudge or issue that I would have with another individual.” |
Everything Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Have Said About Their Romance Posted: 13 Apr 2022 09:00 AM PDT Alexa, play "Dear Ben" from Jennifer Lopez's 2002 album, This Is Me … Then. Lopez and Ben Affleck were first linked in the early 2000s, with the Grammy nominee confirming their engagement to Diane Sawyer in November 2002. "It’s just a blanket, a quilt of rose petals, all over the whole entire house," she recalled about the proposal at the time. "So many candles, and vases, bouquets. And my song ‘Glad’ was playing … I walk in and I was just overwhelmed. I wasn’t expecting it, and I was just like ‘Oh, my God.'” Affleck enlisted Lopez's mother to help him pop the question and read her a love letter. "I had cried a lot over sadness over the years. And for the first time in my life, I cried incredible purging tears of happiness," she continued. The twosome went on to costar in 2003's Gigli and 2004's Jersey Girl before calling off their wedding in early 2004. While Lopez married Marc Anthony later that year, Affleck moved on with Jennifer Garner. Both the "Waiting for Tonight" singer and the Town actor welcomed kids with their new partners. Lopez and Anthony, who share twins Max and Emme, split in 2014 after a decade of marriage. Affleck and Garner — parents of Violet, Seraphina and Samuel — split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. While both Lopez and Affleck went on to have high-profile relationships following their respective divorces, the twosome sent social media into a tizzy when they were spotted together in April 2021 following her split from Alex Rodriguez. In addition to being seen together in Los Angeles, Lopez and Affleck were spotted on vacation together in Montana that May. "Alex was jealous that Jen and Ben were seeing each other," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "He's still holding out hope they can reconcile." Another insider told Us that Affleck and Lopez were keeping in touch following the Montana getaway. “[She] has feelings for Ben. They are taking it slowly, but things are moving in a romantic direction,” the insider said. “Jen really enjoyed her trip to Montana and is really loving Ben’s friendship." Scroll through for Affleck and Lopez's best quotes about their relationship and split: ![]() "I'd probably say that he is brilliantly smart, loving, charming, affectionate. And I just admire him in every way. I respect him. I feel like he teaches me things,” Lopez told Sawyer about then-fiancé Affleck in 2002. “We talked about how people kind of see him with one type of person and me with another type of person, and the two of us together is like 'How did that happen?,' and how we're probably more alike and from the same kind of background and, you know, same kind of upbringing and same kind of family and same kind of house.” Richard Young/Shutterstock ![]() “You can’t pinpoint it,” Lopez told Pat O’Brien during a joint interview with Affleck at their then-home in 2003. “We became friends first. That is the honest to God truth.” Ralph Nelson/Columbia/Revolution/Kobal/Shutterstock ![]() When Affleck was asked about any regrets from his relationship with Lopez, he cited his role in her “Jenny From the Block” music video. “If I have a regret, it was doing the music video,” he told the Daily Record in 2008. “But that happened years ago. I've moved on. … It not only makes me look like a petulant fool, but it surely qualifies as ungentlemanly? For the record, did she hurt my career? No." YouTube ![]() “I think Jen and I made a mistake in that we fell in love, we were excited and maybe too accessible,” Affleck said during an interview on the British TV series Live in 2008. “I don’t think either of us anticipated the degree to which it would take on a world of its own.” Shutterstock ![]() “It felt like my heart had been torn out of my chest,” Lopez wrote about the split from Affleck in her 2014 book, True Love. ![]() “It was probably my first big heartbreak,” the musician told Maria Shriver on the Today show in 2014 before addressing how quickly she moved on with Anthony. “And to have one of my best friends who I’d known for years, who I actually love and did have chemistry with, come into my life and say, ‘I’m here’ … What you need to know is, nobody can save you or heal you. Only you can do that for you.” Charles Sykes/Shutterstock ![]() “I really felt like I had found somebody great and he had found somebody great and we thought we could make it work,” Lopez told Hoda Kotb about Affleck in 2014. Alex Berliner/BEI/Shutterstock ![]() “[When I first met him] I felt like … ‘OK, this is it.’ [But] sometimes I feel like what you think people are and how you see them when you love them is different than when they reveal later,” the Shades of Blue alum told Jess Cagle in 2016. “I think different time, different thing, who knows what could’ve happened, but there was a genuine love there.” Alex Berliner/BEI/Shutterstock ![]() After Affleck made headlines for a giant tattoo on his back in 2016, Andy Cohen asked the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer about the ink. ”It's awful!" she exclaimed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. "It has too many colors. His tattoos always had too many colors." Bei/Shutterstock ![]() “I lost my sense of self, questioned if I belonged in this business, thought maybe I did suck at everything, And my relationship [with Ben] self-destructed in front of the entire world,” she told Vanity Fair in 2018. “It was a two-year thing for me until I picked myself up again.” C Wenzelberg/Shutterstock ![]() The actor told The New York Times in 2020 that Lopez should have been nominated for an Oscar for her role in Hustlers. "She's the real thing,” he said. "I keep in touch periodically with her and have a lot of respect for her. How awesome is it that she had her biggest hit movie at 50? That's f—king baller." Alex Berliner/BEI/Shutterstock ![]() “People were so f–king mean about her — sexist, racist. Ugly, vicious s–t was written about her in ways that if you wrote it now, you would literally be fired for saying those things you said,” Affleck said of Lopez on the Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast in January 2021. “Now it’s like she’s lionized and respected for the work she did, where she came from, what she accomplished — as well she f–king should be! … I would say you have a better shot — coming from the Bronx — of ending up as like [Justice Sonia] Sotomayor on the Supreme Court than you do of having Jennifer Lopez’s career and being who she is at 50 years old today.” Peter Brooker/Shutterstock ![]() Affleck was quoted in Lopez’s May 2021 InStyle cover story. “I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts,” he gushed. “She remains, to this day, the hardest-working person I've come across in this business. She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I'm so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves.” He added, “Where are you keeping the fountain of youth? Why do you look the same as you did in 2003 and it kind of looks like I'm in my 40s … at best?” Lopez replied: “Ben is funny! He still looks pretty good too." Photo by Pamela Hanson ![]() During an interview with WSJ. Magazine, Affleck said that the relationship is "definitely beautiful," but he wants to keep the details private. "It’s hard to say who benefits more, without going into gossipy detail. I could just say that I feel great about being very healthy. And it is a good story. It’s a great story. And, you know, maybe one day I’ll tell it. I’ll write it all out. And then I’ll light it on fire," the director said in the interview, published in December 2021. "I am very lucky in my life in that I have benefited from second chances, and I am aware that other people don’t even get first chances. I’ve had second chances in my career. I’ve had second chances as a human being. Life is difficult, and we are always failing and hopefully learning from those failures. The one thing you really need to avail yourself of the opportunities provided from that growth is the second chance. I’ve definitely tried to take advantage of that. I haven’t always been successful, but in cases in which I have, they’ve turned out to be the defining aspects of my life." In the same interview, he hinted at a future wedding. "Only in the last four years have I been able to not be so terrified, because I recognize I won’t die without work," he shared. "The most important thing is being a good father. The second most important thing is to be a good man. And a good person. And, ostensibly, you know, a good husband. Hopefully." Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock ![]() Speaking to his friend Matt Damon for an Entertainment Weekly cover story, the Tender Bar star said he considered meeting Lopez to be the silver lining of making Gigli. He also credited the box-office bomb with helping him figure out that he wanted to do more behind the camera. "If the reaction to Gigli hadn't happened, I probably wouldn't have ultimately decided, 'I don't really have any other avenue but to direct movies,' which has turned out to be the real love of my professional life," he said in January 2022. "So in those ways, it's a gift. And I did get to meet Jennifer, the relationship with whom has been really meaningful to me in my life." Stewart Cook/Shutterstock ![]() “You have to do what feels good to you all the time. But at the same time, you learn from the past, you do things better the second time,” Lopez told The New York Times in a February 2022 profile. “There’s a part of it that, yes, we’re together. But there’s a part of it that’s not, you know, being so open the way we were when we were so young and in love many years ago. … When you’re in things, you do what feels right. And I don’t beat myself up over ‘I wish I had done this differently’ or ‘Did I do too much?’ That’s what was comfortable at the time. I did what I did. [Alex] did what he did. And it was fine. The relationship stuff had nothing to do with being public or not being public.” She continued: “You can’t live life and think that things are just mistakes: I just messed up there, I messed up there. No, it’s all lessons. It’s really what can you extrapolate from it that is going to help you grow and go to the next level of understanding yourself, finding yourself and being able to be at peace with your life, at peace with who you are.” BauerGriffin/INSTAR ![]() “I just want my future to be full of love and happiness, with my children and my partner,” the Marry Me star told People in February 2022. “I think everybody just wants to be happy, with somebody to go on the journey with and grow old with, and I feel good about that right now. To see the person, the human being, the man that he is today, the father that he is today, the partner that he is — he is so everything I always knew he was and wanted to be.” She added that their romance is “a beautiful love story.” Lopez explained: “What I can teach my children is that real love exists. Some things can be forever, but it doesn't mean they just have a straight line." Marcio Jose Sanchez/AP/Shutterstock ![]() In an April 8 "On the JLo" newsletter, Lopez revealed that she got engaged. Days later, she revealed that she was shocked when her love proposed while she was taking a bath. "I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless," she wrote, in part. The "Marry Me" singer continued, recalling, "I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole. It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined...just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love." Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock |

Since chests are on full display in swimsuits, summer can be a difficult time of year for some of Us. So, we set out on a mission to find the cutest suits that are specifically tailored towards smaller busts. As Cosmopolitan says, "Small boobs get a lot of bad press, but actually, a summer with a small pair is a joy" (peep the article for 14 reasons why). How We Picked the Best Swimsuits for Smaller BustsShakira once sang, "Lucky that my breasts are small and humble so you don't confuse them with mountains." Those lyrics were inspirational back in middle school when I was waiting to hit puberty! As a late bloomer, I understand flat chest struggles firsthand. While I've never gone quite so far as to stuff my bra (a classic adolescent move), I used to wear Victoria's Secret push-ups that were way too padded. And now I know how to shop for flattering fits that provide the perfect balance of comfort and support. When choosing which bathing suits to add to our list, we wanted to make sure to include options that appealed to a wide range of customers. One size does not fit all when it comes to swimwear! We incorporated a variety of styles — from bandeau to triangle — so that you can choose your favorite silhouette. A Complete Timeline of Kanye West and Chaney Jones’ Relationship Posted: 13 Apr 2022 08:45 AM PDT As his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, has gotten more serious with boyfriend Pete Davidson, Kanye West has not been shy about showing off his new romance with Chaney Jones on social media. The Yeezy designer was first spotted with the model at a party in Malibu in January, while he was still casually dating Julia Fox. Nine days later, Jones turned heads at the listening party for West’s album, Donda 2, bearing a striking resemblance to Kardashian in an all-black catsuit, knee-high boots and blue glasses. On February 14, Us Weekly confirmed that West had split from the Uncut Gems actress after less than two months of dating. “Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators but they are no longer together,” a representative for the actress told Us at the time. His relationship with Jones, however, was just heating up. The Delaware native fueled romance rumors throughout the month, frequently posting photos wearing outfits similar to ones Kardashian has previously been spotted in. "His muse," she captioned a series of pictures wearing a Yeezy-esque ensemble on February 1. One week later, she posed next to several Akira graphic novels after West mentioned he had the same collection. The “Flashing Lights” performer seemingly confirmed his romance with the social media influencer on March 1, with a since-deleted screenshot of an article about himself and Jones via Instagram. The post included a snap from The Shade Room that showed the duo out together with the caption, "It appears #Ye and his new boo #ChaneyJones are going strong.” “They're not exclusive," an insider exclusively told Us earlier this month. “She's his muse and hangs out with his posse.” On March 30, Page Six Style reported that West had gifted the social media influencer a rare Birkin bag worth $275,000. The producer has famously gifted both Kardashian and Fox Birkin bags during their relationships. For the No Sudden Move actress’ 32nd birthday in early February, West treated her and four of her closet friends to the luxury handbags, all inspired by their respective personalities. For her part, Jones requested a silver metallic Chèvre leather bag with palladium hardware. It was purchased from Privé Porter at Jones' request: “It's one of the most famous and sought after Birkins in the world," CEO of Privé Porter, Michelle Berk, told Entertainment Tonight. "The demand is because of the beauty and uniqueness of the bag — as well as the limited production numbers." Keep scrolling to find out more about West and Jones’ relationship: ![]() After being spotted hanging with West's friends at the end of January and attending a basketball game at his Donda Academy in Chicago, the University of Delaware graduate attended the Donda 2 listening party looking like the spitting image of Kardashian. Around the same time, Jones posted a photo wearing a Yeezy-inspired ensemble on Instagram, along with the caption "his muse." MEGA ![]() Jones continued to tease her connection to the "Jesus Walks" rapper on social media after making headlines for her resemblance to the SKIMS founder. In addition to posting a scantily-clad photo posing next to a stack of Akira graphic novels — a series which West previously mentioned owning — the model showed off her curves in several bikini shots before posting a pair of pictures on February 26 where she wore nothing but her hair extensions that strongly resembled Kardashian's content. Courtesy of Chaney Jones/Instagram ![]() On February 28, Jones fueled the romance rumors even more by sharing a selfie on her Instagram Story in which West appeared to have his arm wrapped around her. She added a single black heart emoji to the post. Courtesy of Chaney Jones/Instagram ![]() The Grammy winner seemingly confirmed his relationship with Jones just two days later, when he shared a post from The Shade Room that stated they were "going strong" amid his ongoing divorce drama. MEGA ![]() While a source close to the twosome told Us that they were "not exclusive," it was clear that West felt a strong connection to his new muse. “She’s a beautiful model and looks like Kim. So, obviously, he’s attracted to her," the insider explained. “He would pick Kim over anyone but since they’re no longer dating, he’s doing the next best thing — creating another Kim Kardashian. Chaney is going along with it and is loving his fashion suggestions. They’re enjoying spending time together." Backgrid/MEGA ![]() The pair attended a Los Angeles Lakers game on March 11, where they were photographed smiling and cuddling while watching the game. Jones commemorated the evening by sharing several paparazzi photos of them entering the Crypto.com arena on Instagram. "Date Night," she captioned the post, along with a black heart emoji. MediaPunch/Shutterstock ![]() Despite the constant comparisons to Kardashian, Jones told TMZ on March 18 that she doesn't see a resemblance between herself and the Selfish author. “No, not really,” she said at the time, adding that "[Kanye and I], we don’t speak about [Kim].” Courtesy of Chaney Jones/Instagram; E! Entertainment/NBC ![]() West and Jones took their relationship to the next level when he gifted her a limited-edition Birkin bag worth $275,000. As long as he's happy, I genuinely just want that. Truly.” MEGA |
Raven-Symone: My Wife Never Watched Any of My Shows Before We Met Posted: 13 Apr 2022 08:35 AM PDT Wives for the rest of their lives! Raven-Symoné and Miranda Pearman-Maday started letting fans see more of their relationship once they got married. The two never addressed their relationship publicly until they walked down the aisle in June 2020. Symoné also didn’t come out as a lesbian until she took a break from Hollywood to go to college at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She said being a child star, who started working at age 3, impacted her journey to self-acceptance. "I never thought I would come out because my personal life didn't matter,” the That’s So Raven alum said in a 2016 It Got Better video. “It was only what was supposed to be sold as the Raven-Symoné brand. So it was something that I always thought in my head, I’ll have a ‘friend.’ I’ll have a husband and I’ll have a ‘friend’ on the side so I can be happy.” She said she finally came out publicly because she found someone who was much more than a friend. “I don’t care anymore because I fell in love,” she said. Symoné and Pearman-Maday married in an intimate June 2020 ceremony. “I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home,” the “Spacetruck” singer wrote in her Instagram wedding announcement. On their one-year anniversary, the two gushed over each other on social media. “Marriage is about compromise and sacrifice • lucky for me im [sic] married to someone who gets that,” Pearman-Maday wrote along with a photo of the happy couple. The Cosby Show alum was a little more verbose, writing a lengthy post about how much she still loves her wife and how happy she is after the first year of marriage. “You know how to communicate with me like no one ever has,” Symoné wrote on Instagram in June 2021. “I too have dreamed of a life like this. So every morning it takes me a while to shake my head into reality. I never thought I'd be living such a fulfilled life. Your beauty gives me butterfly's [sic] in my chest, your knowledge gives my brain a best friend, your corny jokes gives my tears a reason to fall other than pain. You are the switch in my life that turned the light on. You brighten my life.” Scroll through to see Symoné and Pearman-Maday’s romance through the years: ![]() The two haven't offered too many details about the beginning of their relationship, but they did open up about how they crossed paths. "The first time we met was at a gay bar in West Hollywood where Symoné was a host of a karaoke night," Pearman-Maday said in a Q&A video. Meanwhile, Symoné confirmed the origin of their relationship started when she commented on an Instagram throwback photo of the two. "Damn babe you took it back to the start of the relationship #2015/2016,” she commented in June 2020. Courtesy Miranda Pearman-Maday/Instagram ![]() The two married in a small ceremony put together by their friends. Symoné styled her love in a white Gucci jumpsuit while the Disney alum wore a black button-down shirt. Grey's Anatomy star Debbie Allen hosted the nuptials in her garden and even cooked for the guests. Courtesy Raven-Symone/Instagram ![]() The two officially started working together on their YouTube channel, titled 8 pm. The wives give fans a look into their domestic life with cooking videos, but they can also get a little outrageous on the platform. The lovebirds once picked out tattoos for each other, but they weren't allowed to look at the design until it was inked on their bodies. YouTube ![]() The women opened up about wanting to start a family. "I want four kids. I want a big family," Symoné explained to Entertainment Tonight. "I want to be able to make sure that the gatherings at the dinner table and the gatherings at holidays are full of excitement and fun. I really don't like the attention on me, even though I'm in the industry, you might think it's true. But if we just have one child, I feel like it's not enough distraction. I want a whole bunch of people in the house." Pearman-Maday added that they were looking into freezing their eggs, but they're also open to adoption. Courtesy Miranda Pearman-Maday/Instagram ![]() For their first anniversary, Symoné emphasized how prioritizing their mental health is a huge part of their relationship. "We both go to therapy. We both go to therapy in our own version. I just wanted to tell you how much I love you and tell you that your journey of mental health and making yourself better has definitely sparked want in me to get better as well," Symoné told Pearman-Maday in a June YouTube video. "I know that our relationship personally, our relationship outward to the public and our relationship with ourselves will only get better if we take care of our brains." Courtesy Miranda Pearman-Maday/Instagram ![]() The couple gushed about their new YouTube channel while making their red carpet debut at the Space Jam: A New Legacy’s Los Angeles premiere. "Oh my goodness, we love the fact that we get to be ourselves, that we don't have a huge conglomerate telling us what to do," the Masked Singer alum told Entertainment Tonight at the event. "We love working together and coming up with cool videos for it and bonding. It feels great ... and to be able to do it with my wife and really have that strength and that companionship, it makes it even easier." Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock |
Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Wants to ‘Fiercely Love’ Amid Kody Brown Struggles Posted: 13 Apr 2022 08:28 AM PDT Her true calling. Meri Brown offered fans a glimpse at the direction she wants her life to go amid issues in her relationship with Kody Brown. “I was called to love, not to hate. I was called to accept, not to condemn. I was called to be confident, not to fear. I was called to serve, not to neglect. I’m here to love, to learn, to serve, to impact others in a positive way,” Meri, 51, wrote alongside a selfie via Instagram on Sunday, April 10. “I am not here to judge, to correct, to hold accountable, anyone but myself.” ![]() In the lengthy social media post, the Sister Wives star reflected on what she would like her future to be. “I’m here to be a safe place, to have an open mind, heart, and home, and to make others feel loved and cared about. I am here to laugh, to enjoy life, and live it to it’s [sic] fullest,” she continued. “I fiercely love and protect those in my inner circle, and that circle is far reaching. My calling, my job here on this earth, is to live a life of passion, of confidence, of authenticity, true to who I am, and true to who God made me to be. I am unapologetically me.” The glimpse at Meri’s state of mind comes as viewers notice continued tension between her and Kody, 53. The couple initially tied the knot in 1990. In 2014, the Wyoming native filed for divorce in order to tie the knot with Robyn Brown. ![]() Kody and Meri remained in a spiritual marriage along with his two other wives Christine Brown and Janelle Brown. Late last year, Christine, 49, announced her split from Kody after nearly three decades together. Two months later, Kody revealed how his relationship with Meri has changed over the years as well. "There's just nothing to talk about really. We're just friends,” he said during the Sister Wives tell-all special in February. “There's just no chance that I ever want that again." During the three-part interview, Kody noted that they went through "a lot of counseling" but weren’t able to mend their issues. "Meri, I just don't see us getting back together," he said at the time. Meri, for her part, said that things started to shift after Kody brought in three other wives into their marriage. "From where I am, it's been 31 years now that we've been married [and] I'm still committed. I've made my choice. I'm still here. I do still have hope. I want there to be [a future in full fellowship]," she added, noting that she didn’t have plans to leave. "I just feel peace when I think about staying in the family because it's what I want. It's what I know is right for me." Ahead of the shocking interview, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the pair have had “zero relationship” for a while. “It’s all fake,” the insider revealed in November 2021. “They’re together for TV, essentially.” |
Celebs Visit Disney Theme Parks! Posted: 13 Apr 2022 07:48 AM PDT The love for Disney Parks is universal! Celebrities are just as obsessed with Disney World and Disneyland as anyone else — and these photos prove it. When Hollywood's most famous wish upon a star, they just might end up at one of Mickey Mouse's theme parks. However, some celebs have been making trips to Cinderella's castle long before they were well known. "I grew up in Orange County, so I grew up going to Disneyland all the time," Milo Ventimiglia explained during a February 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, noting that he spent an eventful 12th birthday at the park. "Growing up at Disneyland, I mean, it was one of those places that you'd go and you'd fall in love, but you'd also like go and like get in real trouble." Drew Barrymore experienced something most parents are familiar with when she took her daughters — Olive and Frankie, whom she shares with ex-husband Will Kopelman — to Disney World. The actress noted that her kids were on "a big puffy princess cloud" … until they weren't. "If you've ever taken your kid to Disneyland or Disney World, it all ends at some point in mayhem," she admitted on Late Night With Seth Meyers in February 2017. "That is a legitimate picture of my daughter just losing it on the floor." The image she showed had her little one experiencing a full-on tantrum while dressed up like a fairytale character. The pattern repeated itself during another visit. "This is her losing it at Disneyland — because it all ends up there," Barrymore said. "You push it enough because you're like, 'I'm here! Let's skip the nap! Let's go, go, go!' You want to maximize it. This is how it always ends for me." On the other hand, some stars worry their children won't enjoy Disney as much as they do. "We've gone to [Disneyland] probably a bit more than is healthy," Ginnifer Goodwin admitted to Disney Twenty-Three in February 2016. The Once Upon a Time alum and husband Josh Dallas' son Oliver is set to follow in her footsteps, but the actress still has her doubts. "He cries when we take him away from the characters instead of what most toddlers do, which is cry when the characters come to them," she elaborated. "I have a couple deep, dark fears about childbearing — like they won't love Disneyland because I'll oversaturate them." However, kids aren't the only ones who love riding Space Mountain again and again. Ryan Gosling has admitted he's a full-on Disney adult. The former Mouseketeer told Esquire in August 2011 that he "went through puberty in a theme park." While that might sound like a bad thing, the Remember the Titans actor admitted it was "grateful," telling the magazine, "That place was a landscape to me. I had adventures every day. … Backstage at Disney World, there are stories. Mickey Mouse with his head off, drinking coffee on break. Pirates on the phone. Ghosts in line for food. It just made me see things.” Keep scrolling to see celebs visiting Disney Parks through the years: ![]() The Kardashians star took her daughter, True, to Disneyland for the first time in April 2022 for her 4th birthday. Kaley Cuoco Is 'So Happy' for Costar Pete Davidson Amid Kim K. Romance Posted: 13 Apr 2022 07:34 AM PDT ![]() Rooting for love! Kaley Cuoco offered her opinion on Meet Cute costar Pete Davidson‘s romance with Kim Kardashian — and the couple definitely has her stamp of approval. “I am so happy for him,” Cuoco, 36, said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, April 12. “He deserves it. He’s a total sweetheart, so it’s great.” The comedian, 28, first sparked romance rumors with the reality star, 41, after they worked together during her Saturday Night Live hosting debut in October 2021. Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage and was declared legally single earlier this year. As his former spouse moves on, West, 44, has been vocal about his dislike for Davidson. In March, the rapper faced major backlash for releasing a music video of his song "Eazy" where he is seen kidnapping, decapitating and then burning a claymation version of the SNL star. West — who shares North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, with the Skims founder — took to social media to defend his artistic vision. “Art is therapy just like this view. Art is protected as freedom of speech. Art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm. Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended,” he wrote via Instagram last month. At the time, several people came to Davidson’s defense, but the New York native has yet to publicly comment on the situation. Suicide Squad director James Gunn tweeted, “For the record, Pete Davidson is one of the nicest, sweetest guys I know. A truly generous, tender & funny spirit, he treats everyone around him with respect,” to which Cuoco replied “facts” alongside a red heart emoji. ![]() The Big Bang Theory alum’s show of support came after she and Davidson wrapped filming for their upcoming movie Meet Cute. In September 2021, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the twosome formed a close connection while working on the project. “Kaley and Pete have bonded a lot while filming so much so that they’ve become very good friends,” the insider revealed at the time. “They’re very supportive of each other and there’s no doubt they’ve been staying in touch post-filming.” While the film doesn’t currently have an official release date, Cuoco teased on Tuesday that she is “very proud of” the romantic comedy. “It’s cute. The movie is so cute. He’s cute. We had so much fun. He’s hilarious,” she shared. “I don’t know how they’re gonna edit it together, because all we did is laugh and screw up our lines. It’s an adorable movie.” |
