NFL News: Tom Brady Told The Patriots To Replace Bill Belichick

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick turned the New England Patriots into the team to beat in the NFL for two decades.

Regardless of how stacked or overpowered other teams were, or who was handling the backfield duties in New England, the Pats were the last team everybody wanted to face come playoff time.

Even so, Brady and Belichick grew apart with time and it became clear that the legendary quarterback didn't feel appreciated in Foxboro.

Brady Wanted Bill O'Brien To Coach The Patriots

Brady's departure from New England was a big surprise at the time. But ever since, multiple reports have shown how things weren't that good between him and Belichick.

If anything, Brady wanted Bill O'Brien to take over Belichick's job in 2017, according to Albert Breer:

“I think the ship has sailed on there being a coaching change now,” Breer said. “If it were up to [Brady] out of the coaches who were still available: Bill O’Brien.”O'Brien Was Close To Getting The Job

Per Breer, the Buccaneers are unlikely to remove Bruce Arians from his HC position right now. But if they were, then Bill O'Brien would be a name to watch because of his relationship with Brady:

“That’s who was going to be the head coach, that’s who Tom Brady helped line up as the head coach if he won the power struggle with Bill Belichick in 2017," Breer added. "If Belichick was outta there, after everything that happened in 2017, I’m telling you Bill O’Brien would have been the head coach.”Gisele And Brady Resented Belichick

This isn't the first time that a report like this surfaced. A couple of years ago, Jeff Benedict's book 'The Dynasty' points out how Brady's wife Gisele Bundchen resented Belichick's treatment of Tom:

"She also pointed out how ridiculous it was that after all these years, Belichick still treated Brady like “f*cking Johnny Foxboro.” It was bad enough to never voice approval. It was bullsh*t to still be dressing down the most accomplished quarterback in league history during team meetings and treating his personal trainer and best friend like some kind of outcast," the book read.Belichick Has Nothing But Praise For Brady

Belichick has never addressed those reports and has had nothing but praise for Tom, especially after his brief retirement:

“I am privileged to have drafted and coached Tom Brady, the ultimate competitor and winner. Tom’s humble beginning in professional football ultimately ended with him becoming the best player in NFL history,” Belichick said of Brady.

But regardless of what he says, it's clear that there's some bad blood between them as Brady didn't even mention him in his retirement statement.

They were big together but they could've been even bigger, and that'll always be one of the biggest 'What Ifs' in NFL history.

'RHOSLC' Star Jen Shah Risks 50 Years In Jail By Refusing Plea Deal

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah risks spending up to 50 years locked up for telemarketing fraud. The 48-year-old reality TV star asserted her innocence on the final episode of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion last Sunday after castmates asked why she refused the Plea Deal offered. The alleged targeted telemarketing scheme was a main talking point for the second season, and with the trial coming up this July in NYC, Jen took the opportunity to clear her name.

Jen Arrested On Live TV

Last year, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) cuffed Jen during an RHOSLC filming day, so unfortunately for her, it was visible for all to see. Upon arraignment, the 48-year-old pled "Not Guilty" on all charges, including, Conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.

Jen said,

"I will fight because No. 1, I'm innocent, and No. 2, I'm going to f**king represent every other person out there that can't fight and hasn't been able to."The Housewives Rally

Luckily for Jen, her castmates rally around her, including her best friend Heather Gay, who voiced her support at the reunion. She started by declaring her love for the businesswoman, saying,

"I love Jen. I don't care if she's guilty or not. I believe her too and I want the best for her and her family and I'll be in court every day and I will fight for her. She's in the fight of her life. We got your back. We love you."

The ladies also had a fun "Pass the Phone Challenge," while preparing to go at each other's throats in the reunion.

Jen Faces Up To 50 Years

However, Jen's "Not Guilty" pleas may be compromised because her ex-assistant Stuart Smith, who's charged as an accomplice, entered a guilty plea in November last year. According to Page Six, Smith previously pled Not Guilty like his former boss but changed his plea accepting all charges against him (the same as Jen with an additional obstruction charge.)

However, Jen seems unfazed by Smith's change of plea, as she told Andy Cohen and the ladies that the ordeal only made her stronger.

The Family Is Closer

On the bright side, Jen told Andy the ordeal strengthened her family and proved how much her husband Sharrieff Shah loves her. She also ended the night on a positive note, hinting at a possible return for the third season, which would only be possible if she beats these charges against her.

Your fitness journey always has to start somewhere, and Brie Larson is a perfect example of that. Before joining the Marvel universe, Brie was never a fan of the gym. After joining the Marvel Universe, everything changed. She began training with celebrity trainer Jason Wash, and her workout regimen began to get harder. Here's how.

Her Before And After

"So, I started this journey thinking I'll get strong and I had no idea. I went far beyond what I ever believed was possible for my body," Brie said about her fitness journey while speaking to Insider. "Being able to hip thrust 400 pounds, deadlift 200 pounds, push my trainer's Jeep, I mean, it's an incredible experience to realize what's inside of you is well beyond what you knew was possible." And it all started with Brie "walk[ing] up a hill without being out of breath."

How Her Workouts Are Set-Up

Brie is known for her role in the Marvel Universe as Captain Marvel. Because of the character, Brie has adapted her workouts to fit the personality and films of her character.

"In the first film she's developing that strength, and so I was developing my strength with this one," she explained.  

She continued, "She's already got more mastery over her powers. She can fly now. And so having my body more limber, more ready for these types of movements like wirework, which I didn't have to do as much on the first one, was the main goal."

How She Works Out

Brie loves "working out before the workout". As she described to Shape, a typical workout session when she's filming or when she wants to test her fitness ability begins with yoga. This is done as a method to prevent injury to her muscles and allows her to stretch before getting into the core of her training. The poses she performs include a downward-facing dog, pigeon pose, a revolved side angle post, and a classic runner's stretch.

Afterward, she increases her heart rate by getting into cardio. She typically performs jumping jacks. Next, she tackles her core and performs workout moves such as bridges, push-ups, and weight-free bicep curls to activate her arms.

She later ends her workout session by stretching out again and performing moves such as seated spinal twists, gentle lunges, seated toe touches, and a child's pose.

While she admits the whole session can be done in six minutes or less, she knows it gets the job done.

How She Intensifies Her Workouts

Brie is known for prioritizing safety during her physical activity. However, the star has not been afraid to share some of her stronger gym accomplishments such as doing landmine squats with a heavily-loaded bar, doing static lunges on an Exxentric kBox, doing a one-arm pull-up, and doing one-arm push-ups.

According to Mansion Global, the penthouse apartment she opted to rent for about a year in 2019, which was later featured in Architectural Digest, is currently on the market for $25 million.

According to records, the aerie was last sold in 2016 for $19.7 million. The apartment has been rented out as a luxury rental since that time. The house was listed for rent at $68,000 per month when Kerry lived there.

NBA Rumors: Sixers Could Sacrifice Tyrese Maxey To Create Superteam With Bradley Beal Next Summer

The successful acquisition of James Harden from the Brooklyn Nets has undoubtedly changed the Philadelphia 76ers' fate in the 2021-22 NBA season. From an average playoff team, the arrival of Harden has turned the Sixers into one of the top favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the 2022 NBA Finals. However, despite having the tandem of Harden and Joel Embiid, there's no 100 percent assurance that the Sixers would bring home the Larry O'Brien Trophy this season, especially with the emergence of numerous powerhouse teams in the league.

If they fall short of achieving their main goal, the Sixers are expected to find a way to further improve their roster around Embiid and Harden.

The Dream Trade Target

Even after trading for Harden, the Sixers still have a plethora of trade assets that they could use to engage in a blockbuster deal next summer. One of the dream trade targets for the Sixers is All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards. The Wizards may haven't shown any indication that they are planning to move Beal but if he expresses his desire to leave, they would be left with no choice but to listen to offers for him on the trade market.

Creating A Superteam

In a recent article, Addam Goldman of Fadeaway World came up with a hypothetical blockbuster trade idea that would allow the Sixers to create a "superteam" featuring Beal, Harden, and Embiid next summer. However, to make it happen, the Sixers would have to give up a young and promising point guard like Tyrese Maxey. In the proposed trade scenario, the Sixers would be sending a trade package that includes Maxey, Matisse Thybulle, Tobias Harris, and a 2023 first-round pick to the Wizards in exchange for Beal.

Is Bradley Beal Worth Giving Up Tyrese Maxey?

Giving up a player like Maxey would be a tough decision for the Sixers. However, it's something that they should strongly consider if they think that they still need more star power to end their title drought. Sacrificing Maxey for Beal would definitely be worth it for the Sixers.

Beal would give the Sixers a very reliable third-scoring option behind Harden and Embiid, as well as a good playmaker and a decent floor spacer. What makes him a more intriguing acquisition for the Sixers is his ability to excel in an off-ball capacity, making him the ideal third fiddle alongside ball-dominant superstars like Harden and Embiid next season.

Tyrese Maxey Helps Wizards Rebuild

Maxey would be an intriguing acquisition for the Wizards. He may not be as good as Beal right now, but he has shown huge potential to become a legitimate superstar in the league. This season, he's posting impressive numbers, averaging 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists while shooting 48.1 percent from the field and 41.0 percent from beyond the arc.

In the trade that would send them to Washington, Maxey and Thybulle would join forces with Kristaps Porzingis, Kyle Kuzma, Rui Hachimura, Corey Kispert, and Deni Avdija and form the core of the next title-contending that the Wizards would try to build in the post-Beal era.

NBA Rumors: Heat Could Acquire Anthony Davis For Trade Package Centered On Tyler Herro

The Miami Heat are currently establishing a remarkable performance in the second half of the 2021-22 NBA season. So far, the Heat have won seven of their last 10 games, sitting in the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference with a 45-24 record. However, despite having the best record in the East, the Heat's road to the 2022 NBA Finals isn't expected to be easy, especially with the presence of powerhouse teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, and the Brooklyn Nets.

If they once again fall short of achieving their main goal, the Heat are expected to try to find ways to further improve their roster next summer.

Using Tyler Herro To Land Superior Talent

In a recent article, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report discussed Tyler Herro and his future with the Heat. Herro may be one of the main reasons behind their current success, but Fischer believes the Heat won't mind using him as a trade chip to land another superstar in the 2022 NBA offseason.

"Miami has clearly come to highly value Herro and was resistant to moving him to Toronto for Lowry last year, sources said. Yet league insiders maintain the Heat would sacrifice Herro's promising ceiling for a chance to land the right superior talent."Potential Trade Target - Anthony Davis

According to Kenneth Teape of NBA Analysis Network, one of the players that the Heat could target in the potential deal involving Herro is All-Star power forward Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers.

"Given the current state of their franchise, it wouldn’t hurt Miami to check in on Davis’ availability and see what it could potentially cost to acquire him in a deal. Davis has dealt with a myriad of injuries this season, but the Heat present him the exact kind of opportunity he is looking for."Heat Create Fearsome Foursome

Trading a package centered on Herro for Davis would be a no-brainer for the Heat. Davis may be currently recovering from an injury but when he's 100 percent healthy, he could significantly improve the Heat's performance on both ends of the floor and enable them to create a fearsome foursome with Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and Bam Adebayo in the 2022-23 NBA season. In Davis, the Heat would be getting a very reliable scoring option under the basket, a monster rebounder, a quality rim protector, and a decent floor spacer.

This season, the 29-year-old power forward is averaging 23.1 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and 1.2 steals while shooting 53.7 percent from the field. If he meshes well with Butler, Lowry, and Adebayo, the Heat would be a matchup nightmare to every powerhouse team in the league.

Why The Lakers Would Make The Trade

The proposed blockbuster deal with the Heat would only be worth exploring for the Lakers if LeBron James leaves and they decide to undergo a full-scale rebuild. Herro would give the Lakers the centerpiece of the next title-contending team that they will try to build in Los Angeles. He may still have plenty of things that he needs to improve in his game but during the times when the Heat's superstars were injured, he has shown his ability to lead a team.

Herro may not have shown any sign that he's not happy with the Heat, but he would definitely be intrigued by the idea of being traded to a team where he could be the face of the franchise and the No. 1 option on the offensive end of the floor.

The Doctors then explained that she "suffered a very small blood clot" in her brain, leading to a lack of oxygen hence the fainting. Per her post, the supermodel recovered almost immediately.

According to PEOPLE, Justin was very worried for his wife, and he's losing sleep from watching her rest. A source told the publication that the supermodel doesn't want anyone worrying about her health even though it was a terrifying experience for all parties involved.
