Miley Cyrus In Thigh-Highs Goes Sheer For Gucci

Singer Miley Cyrus is getting carried around in thigh-high stockings and some pretty sheer clothing as she continues to promote the Gucci brand she fronts. The 29-year-old made headlines in 2021 as the luxury Italian label cherry-picked her to promote its fragrances, and it looks like that was just the start.

The latest sees the "Slide Away" singer in full promo mode for a Gucci fashion campaign, and it came with bunny ears, a bra, and plenty of energy as Miley updated her Instagram. Check it out below.

Scroll for photos. Cyrus is followed by 161 million on Instagram, where she posted on February 21. The blonde was all attitude as she was carried high up in the air and at night - the crowd supporting her included a topless male, plus others clad in casual wear.

Miley didn't go casual. The "Prisoner" hitmaker flaunted her toned legs in patterned and black sheer stockings rising to her thighs, also donning a racy see-through bra to match. A fluffy white coat with a waist detail that might have been a miniskirt completed the look also given flourishes via a mask with bunny ears. Yellow high heels offered pops of color.

Despite having the "Big Three" of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook, the Lakers are still struggling to consistently win games. As of now, they are on a three-game losing streak, sitting in the No. 9 spot in the Western Conference with a 27-34 record.

With the team likely heading into a huge disappointment, most people believe that the Lakers would make a major roster overhaul next summer. James may be considered as untouchable, but the Lakers are expected to explore the possibility of moving Davis next summer.

Anthony Davis To Brooklyn Nets

In a recent article, Brett Siegel of NBA Analysis Network talked about some realistic trade options for the Lakers involving Davis. Davis may be currently recovering from an injury but once he becomes officially available on the trading block next summer, several teams will surely be lining up to get his service from the Lakers. One of the most intriguing landing spots for Davis in the 2022 NBA offseason is the Brooklyn Nets. According to Siegel, the Lakers and the Nets could engage in a blockbuster trade that would send Davis to Brooklyn in exchange for Ben Simmons.

Ideal Offseason Scenario For LA Lakers

The proposed blockbuster trade with the Nets would be worth exploring for the Lakers, especially if they are no longer optimistic that the James-Davis tandem could produce another NBA championship title in Los Angeles. By sending Davis to Brooklyn, the Lakers would be receiving a young All-Star who, like AD and LeBron, is also being represented by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports Group. As Siegel noted, the ideal scenario for the Lakers is to pair James and Simmons and swap Westbrook for another Klutch Sports Group client, Houston Rockets point guard John Wall.

Ben Simmons' On-Court Impact On LA Lakers

Simmons may have gone through plenty of ups and downs since last season, but he would still be a great acquisition for the Lakers. Though he's not a legitimate perimeter threat like Davis, Simmons is still a reliable scorer, rebounder, and playmaker. Last season, he averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 1.6 steals while shooting 55.7 percent from the field. Aside from what he could contribute on the offensive end of the floor, Simmons could also help the Lakers improve their defensive efficiency that currently ranks No. 14 in the league, allowing 108.1 points per 100 possessions.

Proposed Trade A No-Brainer For The Nets

Meanwhile, swapping Simmons for Davis should be a no-brainer for the Nets, especially if they can confirm that AD is injury-free before they make the trade. The potential arrival of Davis in Brooklyn would enable the Nets to form a more formidable "Big Three" with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in the 2022-23 NBA season. Davis would give the Nets a very reliable scoring option under the basket, a monster rebounder, a quality rim protector, and a decent floor spacer.

If the trio of Davis, Durant, and Irving mesh well on the court and stay away from any major injury, the Nets could beat any powerhouse team in a best-of-seven series.

Gaffes, Viral Moments That Marked Joe Biden's SOTU

President Joe Biden delivered his first State of the Union address on Tuesday, discussing his administration's accomplishments and pledging to punish Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.

The president also discussed his plans to boost American manufacturing, urged Congress to pass his Build Back Better bill, and promised to dedicate resources to finding more effective treatments for cancer and other deadly diseases.

But the Democrat's SOTU address was marked by several gaffes and viral moments.

'Iranian People' In Ukraine

As he was denouncing Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, Biden attempted to express support for the Ukrainian people, who are putting up a remarkable fight against the invaders.

However, instead of saying "the Ukrainian people," the president said "the Iranian people."

"Putin may surround Kyiv with tanks, but he will never win the hearts and mind of the Iranian people," he said, as reported by The Hill.

Biden's slip-up immediately went viral on social media, with Republicans and conservatives questioning his mental health and fitness.

Some also pointed to Vice President Kamala Harris' reaction.

Heckling

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado repeatedly heckled Biden during his speech.

At one point, she shouted that Biden is responsible for the deaths of 13 service members who died during the U.S. evacuation from Afghanistan last year.

Without acknowledging Boebert's comments, Biden continued with his speech, noting that his son Beau served in Iraq, and died of cancer.

Boebert heckled Biden again when he was talking about immigration reform -- she, along with GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green of Georgia -- started chanting "build the wall."

Chuck Schumer's Enthusiasm

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer's enthusiastic reaction to Biden's speech also went viral on social media.

As Biden was discussing the tax cuts passed by his predecessor, Donald Trump, the cameras cut to Schumer, who stood up and started clapping -- but he stood up when Biden was mid-sentence.

The Democratic leader then looked across the aisle, realized he was the only person standing up, and sat down.

His reactions have inspired countless memes and jokes, which are still spreading like wildfire on Twitter and elsewhere.

Funding The Police

After the murder of George Floyd in the summer of 2020, "defund the police" became a rallying cry for progressive activists and some lawmakers.

In his SOTU speech, Biden strongly pushed back against cutting law enforcement budgets.

"We should all agree: The answer is not to defund the police. It’s to fund the police. Fund them. Fund them. Fund them with resources and training," the president said, as reported by Politico.

His words drew bipartisan applause, with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Minority Whip Steve Scalise standing up and applauding.
