Supportive! Kim K.'s Family Reacts to Her Instagram Debut With Pete Davidson Posted: 12 Mar 2022 07:00 AM PST The family approves! Shortly after Kim Kardashian and her beau, Pete Davidson, debuted their romance via social media, her siblings offered their support. "I love this," sister Khloé Kardashian wrote via Instagram comment on Friday, March 11, on the 41-year-old Skims mogul's initial post. Kim, for her part, shared a slideshow of throwback snaps from the pair's pre-Valentine's Day celebration earlier on Friday. She captioned her social media upload, "Whose car we gonna take?!" The caption was inspired by Ben Affleck's 2010 movie The Town, which the Selfish author included a screenshot of in her slideshow. In one photo, the 28-year-old Saturday Night Live star laid his head in his girlfriend's lap before posting for a candid selfie together. In addition to the 37-year-old Good American cofounder, other members of the Kardashian-Jenner squad couldn't help but "like" her post. Mom Kris Jenner and sister Kylie Jenner both double-tapped the snap, while Scott Disick added his own comment. "The town," the Talentless founder, 38, replied, paying homage to the inspiration behind Kim's caption. The KKW Beauty entrepreneur and the King of Staten Island actor were first linked in October 2021 after the twosome reconnected — and shared an onscreen kiss — during her SNL hosting debut. "[Pete] makes her feel good and she's excited to see what happens," a source exclusively told Us Weekly of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum in November 2021. "Everything flows well [when they're together]." While the couple's romance has continued to flourish, they've kept a relatively low profile. Kim then broke her silence on their connection earlier this week, mentioning if the comedian would appear on her family's upcoming Hulu series, The Kardashians. "I have not filmed with [Pete]," the Dancing With the Stars alum told Variety in an interview published on Wednesday, March 9. "And I'm not opposed to it. It's just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn't tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn't be for this season." Kim noted that Hulu viewers will see "how we met and who reached out to who and how it happened and all the details that everyone wants to know," revealing she is "definitely open" to mentioning Davidson on the reality TV show. Kim's relationship with the Meet Cute actor came shortly after she filed for divorce from estranged husband Kanye West in February 2021. (Kim and the rapper, 44, were married for nearly seven years and share children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.) Amid the legal proceedings, Kim was declared legally single earlier this month. The Yeezy designer, for his part, has been less than thrilled by the reality TV star’s blossoming romance. West continued to publicly diss Davidson in a series of since-deleted, scathing Instagram messages. Most recently, he included a cartoon version of the SNL comic being buried alive in his "Eazy" music video this month. "Pete is trying to make out like he finds Kanye's pranks hilarious, but nobody really believes him," a second insider told Us in March, noting that Davidson is trying to "downplay the impact" of the music video. "He actually feels sorry for the guy, but at the same time, he just wishes he could be left alone." Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell’s Relationship Timeline Posted: 12 Mar 2022 06:05 AM PST Stronger together! From middle school sweethearts to married MTV stars, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are committed to making their relationship work. After more than a decade together, the couple has overcome many ups and downs, including breakups, makeups, living apart and becoming parents. After meeting in the 7th grade, the pair began dating in 2005. Their journey to parenthood was documented on MTV's 16 and Pregnant in 2009, when Lowell gave birth to their daughter Carly. The pair placed Carly up for adoption, and despite how hard the decision was for them they have remained bonded. Baltierra proposed to his love two times, once in high school in 2010 and again in 2013, after briefly calling off their first engagement. Two years later, the lovebirds welcomed their second child together, daughter Novalee, in January 2015. Seven months later, they tied the knot after dating on and off for 10 years. "I was bawling like a baby," Baltierra exclusively told Us Weekly after the August 2015 nuptials. The duo faced breakup rumors three years later, but Lowell denied a split was in their future, telling Us in May 2018, "Couples go through ups and downs. We are a solid couple." The Teen Mom stars later welcomed daughter Vaeda in February 2019, after suffering a miscarriage a year prior. The rainbow baby also came after Lowell went public about her battle with mental illness after seeking treatment. "He's obviously just as happy as I am," Lowell told Us in September 2018 about her husband, ahead of their third daughter's arrival. "We love being parents and can't wait for our newest addition." Baltierra agreed with his wife, telling Us, "After the initial shock wore off, I starting getting excited due to the fact that the universe obviously wanted this baby to come into the world no matter what! And after the miscarriage, this is truly a blessing … like every child!" The MTV personalities announced in February 2021 that they are going to be parents once again after Lowell suffered a miscarriage the year prior. They welcomed daughter Rya Rose in August of that year. It’s so funny to look back at us !” she wrote in April 2018 alongside Instagram photos of the pair when they first started dating. “I was OBSESSED with that Hollister coat 😂😂 and he’s stilll the love of my life!!!! ❤️ Tyler looks sooo little! She's not motivated to do things herself. She's not independent. She'd probably never admit it, but I feel like sometimes she puts up with me.” Courtesy of Tyler Baltierra/Instagram ![]() Months later, the pair got engaged for a second time and fans saw Baltierra propose during an MTV special titled Being Lowell, which aired in February 2014. It’s definitely created a little bit of tension.” Courtesy of Tyler Baltierra/Instagram ![]() Lowell sought treatment for her mental health and trauma struggles in November 2017 after having suicidal thoughts. After coming home one month later, she returned to rehab in January 2018 and later revealed on an episode of Teen Mom OG that she suffered a miscarriage. “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself…,” Lowell said in an exclusive statement to Us Weekly in November 2017. “On November 17th I thought of every way possible to commit suicide… from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole… THANK GOD I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER… thank god I am self aware… I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better… anyone feeling alone you ARE NOT ALONE! This world needs all of us! We are all here for a reason… Thank you for your support during this tough time…. Much Love, Catelynn Baltierra.” “I love you so much!!!” she wrote alongside a photo of herself and Baltierra a month after she finished in treatment in March 2018. “And for all you haters vows say - in SICKNESS and in health... remember that... because this man has done that for me beyond what I could imagine ❤️ @tylerbaltierramtv #KeepTalkingMH#rememberURVows.” Courtesy of Catelynn Lowell/Instagram ![]() After reports surfaced that the couple were having issues in May 2018 because she changed her last name on social media. We are a solid couple that will work through anything life throws at us.” Courtesy of Tyler Baltierra/Instagram ![]() During an appearance on the Dr. Oz Show in July 2018, Lowell revealed how she handled her husband’s alarming tweet in April of that year when he wrote he felt “so alone” despite being surrounded by his wife and their daughter, Nova. “I read it on Twitter and instantly my first reaction goes to my trauma of like, ‘What did I do?’ Then, I was like no. I talk to myself, that’s my trauma stuff,” she answered. “And then I’m automatically like it has nothing to do with you, just go in there and ask, “Is there anything I can do for you? Is there anything you need?’” Sony Pictures Television ![]() The couple revealed exclusively to Us Weekly in September 2018 that Lowell was pregnant and expecting their third child together. "It was a huge shock at first. We were not planning it, especially after the miscarriage and how I went downhill with my mental illness," she told Us. "We were going to wait a really long time. We were using protection and everything and still got pregnant! This baby just wanted to be here. It was very unexpected." We are all in this together and everyone experiences pain, loss, and the recovery from it.” The reality star noted that she is “still in the thick of dealing with this loss as it was recent and all the emotional trauma that follows such a loss in an already horrifically hard year.” MTV ![]() “Baby Baltierra coming soon,” Lowell captioned her February 2021 pregnancy reveal. They came to us exactly at the right time when they were supposed to be in our lives and helped project the healing.” Courtesy of Tyler Baltierra/Instagram ![]() “I love that some of you are sooo bothered that I call MY husband my lover,” Lowell wrote via her Instagram Stories in January 2022. “He is my love/lover and ALWAYS will be.” Courtesy of Catelynn Lowell/Instagram |
Meghan Markle, Taylor Swift and More Stars Who Were Girl Scouts Posted: 12 Mar 2022 06:04 AM PST Living by the Girl Scout law! It may not come as a total surprise, but some of today's biggest stars and leaders were once troop members in their youth. Taylor Swift was a Girl Scout while growing up in her native Pennsylvania. As she went on to become one of the world's most notable pop stars, she never forgot her roots as she gave troops across New Jersey and Connecticut free tickets to her Reputation tour in 2018. The Girl Scouts of the USA even has ties to prominent public figures such as Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts and Meghan Markle, a former actress and senior member of the British royal family. Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, for her part, opened up about her positive experience as a troop member in 2012 while speaking to a group of Girl Scouts on the first-ever International Day of the Girl. "I benefited from my years associated with Girl Scouts, starting out as a Brownie, flying up, becoming a Girl Scout, becoming what we called in those years so long ago a Mariner Scout, acquiring badges," she recalled at the time. "There's some people of my vintage [age] or a little bit closer who can remember those days." The politician continued, "But the Girl Scouts not only taught me great songs that I still sing, but lifelong lessons about leadership and the value of public service and friendships that go back all those years and keep me grounded because I'm with people who know that I had a really hard time starting a fire in the rain." Karlie Kloss additionally gushed over her time as a Girl Scout. "I have so many fond memories of growing up with my sisters and my best friends, and selling cookies was such a big part of our year," she told Teen Vogue in 2013. "That was the exciting part of the spring. You plan for it all year." The supermodel noted that the troops "were very close" in her community before adding, "It was amazing to be a part of something that was big — it was a very special organization. It still is!" Reese Witherspoon, for her part, has been vocal about enjoying Girl Scout cookies as snacks through the years, but she also has quite the history back as a seller.
