Marvel Stars' Dating Histories Through the Years

Posted: 17 Mar 2022 05:01 PM PDT

Superheroes want love too! Romantic relationships have always been a key part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even if those story lines sometimes take a backseat to the action. Stars within the franchise have not only connected meaningfully on screen, but they have also found romance in their real lives.

Scarlett Johansson, for one, married Colin Jost in October 2020, once she was already well established in her role as Black Widow. Although the Saturday Night Live star's fascination with Marvel would seem like a positive thing, the actress revealed in June 2021 that there was a downside to her husband being a fan of her work.

"He read comics growing up," Johansson explained on SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Podcast With Julia Cunningham" at the time. "He was a big Wolverine fan. He doesn’t like any spoilers though, so I can’t tell him anything. And he doesn’t even pry. Even if I’m telling him — when we were shooting [Black Widow] in London, Colin was also there. He was shooting Tom and Jerry, which worked out great. 'Cause we were together in the same city for a long time, which is rare. And if I was in the middle of a big action set piece or sequence or whatever, he couldn’t hear. He was just not wanting to hear anything about it — anything about the details. Of course, he wants to know, 'How was your day?' but as soon as it would bleed into, 'Can you read the scene with [me]?' he was like, 'Am I going to get any spoilers or like?' He wanted to know spoiler alert before we read lines together. Can you believe that?"

While the Oscar nominee found The One in the form of a Marvel devotee, the franchise is not without its on-set romances. Tom Holland and Zendaya play love interests Peter and MJ, respectively, in the Spider-Man films, leading to a real-life spark between the costars.

The pair repeatedly shut down rumors that they were an item after first being linked in 2017. "We are friends," the Euphoria star told Variety at the time. "He's a great dude. He's literally one of my best friends. This past how[ever] many months we've had to do press tours together. There's very few people that will understand what that's like at 20 years old."

After years of denials, Holland and Zendaya were spotted kissing in his car in July 2021.

All in all, Shake and Emily "seem like they’re a good match" since they are both outgoing, according to the source.

The veterinarian sparked controversy during season 2 of Love Is Blind when he attempted to determine Deepti Vempati's weight and told his costars that he was not attracted to her. She ultimately left him at the altar after he revealed how he really felt about her.

I think we're on two completely different paths."

Days later, Shake apologized to his ex via Instagram. "Deepti, I am truly sorry for some of the things I said. Things that, honestly, just could've been left unsaid or could have been said differently. Things that never should have been on national television," he noted on March 8. "I'm so, so sorry that I hurt you with my words. That's the last thing that I wanted from all of this. I'm sorry, Deepti."

The Loki star is a "very private" person when it comes to his love life, which is part of the reason he took his time before going public with Ashton, the insider explains. However, the pair's choice to stay out of the limelight hasn't put a damper on their date nights.

While the Night Manager alum and the Greta star "love the finer things in life," they enjoy letting their hair down from time to time. "They also love to let loose and rock out with friends, whether it's at a house party or heading to a local bar or restaurant," the source tells Us.

The twosome spend time working out together and have a "passion" for travel, the insider says, adding that when they're on the road, they try and find their own "special spots" to kick back in.

Hiddleston and Ashton's partnership is "very cool" and backed by strong chemistry. "They're crazy about each other," the source explains, noting that their friends and family "all agree it's a great match with a ton of potential."

Us confirmed on Thursday, March 17, that the duo are engaged after Ashton sparked speculation earlier in the month while attending the BAFTA Awards.

The Nocturnal Animals actress stepped out at the Sunday, March 13, event wearing a diamond ring on her left hand as she posed for photos on the red carpet with her love.

The Emmy nominee was first linked to the Wanderlust alum in 2019 after meeting on the set of the West End's production of Betrayal, which they both starred in. The duo shared the stage during the opening of the show in London in March of that year. They were then seen in the show's Broadway production, which opened in August 2019.

The lovebirds have kept a low profile throughout much of their relationship. It wasn't until the Tony Awards in September 2021 that they made their red carpet debut as a couple.

Before settling down with Ashton, Hiddleston had a whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift. The duo sparked romance speculation in June 2016 but called it quits three months later.

Ready to walk down the aisle! Several celebrity couples took their love to the next level in 2022 by getting engaged.

Josh Duhamel popped the question to Audra Mari in January after two years of dating. The actor was previously married to Fergie from 2009 to 2019, and the exes share son Axl, whom they welcomed in August 2013.

"They are both really good people and committed to their son, but they are too different to make it work," a source told Us Weekly in September 2017 shortly after the duo confirmed their split.

Fergie opened up in October 2017 about calling it quits with Duhamel. "It wasn't my plan," she said on The Wendy Williams Show at the time. "I wanted to stay married forever."

A year later, the Las Vegas alum hinted at his desire to remarry. "I want to have more kids in the next few years. So it's more about finding someone young enough to have kids," he explained on the "Armchair Expert" podcast in December 2018. "It's not as if I'm out there just trying to f–k anything. That's really not who I am. I'm trying to find a girl that I can be with and have a family with, you know?"

Duhamel also reflected on his failed romance with Fergie at the time. "Ferg and I had a great relationship. I love that girl and I always will. Unfortunately, we didn't work, but I will always have her back and she is the mother of my baby," he shared. "She's awesome. So I'm just trying to find somebody. That's kind of what I'm looking for."

After the Transformers star posted on social media about his betrothal to Mari, the former Black Eyed Peas member wished her ex-husband well. "Congrats!!!" she commented via Instagram, adding six green heart emojis.

Jeremiah Duggar, meanwhile, announced his engagement to Hannah Wissmann in January. The news came three months after the pair revealed their courtship.

"Never been so happy. Never felt so blessed!!" the 19 Kids and Counting alum gushed via Instagram in October 2021. "Getting to know each other has been one of the greatest joys of our lives! We are excited to start sharing our story with all of you and to see what God has in store for our future. #mygirlfriend."

"Daniella unfortunately sustained an injury during last night's show," a rep for the touring production told Us Weekly on Thursday, March 17, about the 29-year-old mirrorball champ. "She was tended to by our on-tour physio and then treated at a local hospital. She is resting now and receiving excellent care. The entire cast and crew is wishing her a speedy recovery."

Karagach and her season 30 partner, Iman Shumpert, had been performing across the United States alongside the rest of the ABC professionals. The tour rep explained that Karagach's injuries were sustained mid-performance during the Wednesday, March 16, show in Riverside, California.

"Well, this was definitely not the way I thought tour would end but I'm grateful for the time I had. This was truly a special experience for me and I've had the best time being a part of this immensely talented cast," Karagach wrote via Instagram on Thursday. "I love my @dancingabc fam so much and I know you guys will keep kicking ass!! 🥺💜 To the fans and friends, I love you. Thank you for your love, kindness and always showing 100% of your support for us. This @dwtstourofficial would be nothing without you all. The moments I had on that stage was something I'll never be able to express. Dancing for you guys was exhilarating. Im so grateful."

The New York native joined the ABC competition in 2019 as a member of the troupe. The following season she was partnered with rapper Nelly, and they made it all the way to the finals. Later, she and Shumpert, 31, took home the mirrorball during season 30.

"My name will get talked about a lot for this, but I couldn't have had a better coach [or] made a better friend," the NBA athlete gushed about Karagach to Us and other reporters shortly after the November 2021 finale. "Seriously, like, if this is not an ode to all the incredible work that you've done over your lifetime of being a real professional dancer — to be able to cram years of experience into what? We've been here three months? To see the end result be me holding the mirrorball, you're an incredible person, an incredible teacher and incredible coach and an amazing friend. So thank you, Dancing With the Stars, for pairing me with DJ yellow."

Karagach's health scare comes after fellow pro Artem Chigvintsev left the tour in January while battling pneumonia. (Us confirmed his return nearly one month later after recuperating.)

"Hi DWTS family — My time on tour so far has been wonderful — unfortunately I am having to step away from tour for a while, due to some unexpected health issues," the Russia native, 39, wrote in an Instagram statement on January 20. "My goal is to recover as quickly as possible so I can rejoin my cast and crew on this incredible tour."

“It’s kind of crazy how life randomly throws you curveballs. You can’t really control much,” the “Peaches” singer, 28, said between songs while performing in Denver, Colorado, on Wednesday, March 16, as part of his ongoing Justice tour. “Most of you probably know or have seen the news about my wife … but she's OK, she's good, she's strong.”

He continued: “It's been scary, you know, it's been really scary. But I know for a fact that God has her in the palms of his hands, and that's a good thing.”

The model, 25, was hospitalized on Thursday, March 10, after experiencing “stroke-like symptoms” that were affecting her movement. “I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke like symptoms and was taken to the hospital," Hailey shared via her Instagram Story two days later. “They found I had suffered a very small blood clot in my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.”

Though the “Who's in My Bathroom" YouTube personality described the incident as “one of the scariest moments I've ever been through,” she was able to recover quickly and return home. “I'm so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!” Hailey continued. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love.”

In the days following Hailey’s recovery, the “Baby” singer was “spending every moment” with his wife. “Justin has been worried sick," a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this week. “[He] feels very out of control of the situation.”

The former Drop the Mic host returned the support a few days later, when she was spotted at Justin’s concert in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Sunday, March 13. Sharing videos from the night on her Instagram Story, Hailey sang along to her husband’s hit single “Love Yourself” and danced and jumped around in the audience alongside friend Tyrell Hampton.

Justin has previously used his concerts to shine the spotlight on the Arizona native, who he married in September 2018. No hard feelings? Melissa Gorga was just as surprised as Real Housewives of New Jersey fans to learn that she wasn't going to be part of Teresa Giudice's upcoming nuptials.

When speaking with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, March 15, Giudice, 49, revealed that she was going to have eight bridesmaids, but her sister-in-law, 42, wasn't one of them. She noted that none of her fellow Housewives would be a part of the ceremony.

“I did find out on TV that I’m not going to be in Teresa’s wedding and I’m not a bridesmaid, which I’m OK with. I’m fine with [it]," Gorga said on the Thursday, March 17, episode of her "Melissa Gorga on Display" podcast on PodcastOne. "I understand. To each their own.”

The Envy by Melissa Gorga creator, who is married to Giudice's brother, Joe Gorga, explained that she had "no idea" that she wouldn't make the cut. "I found out on TV," she told her listeners, noting that she "pretty much assumed" that she wouldn't be one of the ladies standing beside the cookbook author when she marries Luis “Louie” Ruelas this summer.

However, the Bravo personality questioned whether Giudice's future sisters-in-law on Ruelas' side were going to be up on the altar on her special day.

"Is it, like, a no-fam wedding other than the four daughters, her four beautiful daughters, and like a couple of her friends? I think if that’s the case then that makes perfect sense," Melissa said. "I mean if she’s having Louie's sisters than I guess that makes perfect sense for Teresa."

The mother of three — who shares daughter Antonia, 16, and sons Gino, 14, and Joey, 11, with Joe, 47 — insisted that she wishes Giudice "nothing but happiness" as she prepares to tie the knot for the second time.

The Fabulicious author was previously married to Joe Giudice for 20 years before their split in December 2019. The exes share four girls: Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13. Us Weekly confirmed in November 2020 that Teresa was dating Ruelas, 47. Less than one year later, the TV personality announced in October 2021 that the duo got engaged during a trip to Greece.

"I’m very happy that she’s happy. I love to see her smile when she’s with Louie so whatever she decides. It’s her wedding and I will be fine with it," Melissa continued, joking, "She’d probably put me in an ugly dress anyway. Just kidding."

The Toms River, New Jersey, native, who has starred alongside Teresa on RHONJ since 2010, pointed out that she's been there for her sister-in-law "through thick and thin," so she truly wants her to find joy in her personal life.

"We’ve always backed her up and we haven’t said much on the show in a negative light regarding her and Louie and it’s for a reason," Melissa added. "It’s because we want her to be happy and we want it to be good. So I hope she sees that and realizes that, and I wish her nothing but happiness and I’m sure her wedding will be absolutely beautiful.”

The "On Display" singer previously told Us that she didn't think she'd be part of Teresa's bridal party. "I didn't go to the first one so at least I never attended one of her weddings before. This [will] be my first," Melissa said in October 2021, noting she thought only Teresa's girls would be on the list.

Engaged! Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 17 Mar 2022 01:12 PM PDT

Loki’s in love! Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton played a married couple in the 2019 revival of the play Betrayal — and a real-life romance quickly blossomed between the two.

The play, which centers on a woman having an affair with her husband’s best friend and the various betrayals that result, opened in London in March 2019. Ashton, Hiddleston and their costar Charlie Cox transferred with the production to Broadway in August of that year.

“We were really lucky that we, on day one, had an incredible trust,” the Fresh Meat alum said during a conversation with AOL’s BUILD series in November 2019 about working with Hiddleston and Cox. “I feel a core connection to these people and it’s because I can feel how open we are. I can feel the trust that we have.”

Though the couple have been effusive about one another’s talent and work, Hiddleston has spoken about how his very public whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift from June to September 2016 taught him to be more protective over his private life.

“Everyone is entitled to a private life,” the Avengers star told The Telegraph in March 2017, six months after he and the Grammy winner called it quits. “I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment, and in my mind I don’t conflict the two.”

He continued: “My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are separate.”

The Crimson Peak actor echoed those sentiments two years later when he and Ashton were starring opposite one another on Broadway. “I'm protective about my internal world now in probably a different way,” Hiddleston told The New York Times in August 2019. “If you go through life without connecting to people, how much could you call that a life? Because you have to fight for love. You can't live in fear of what people might say.”

After Betrayal closed, the Character Breakdown author and Hiddleston reportedly moved in together in Atlanta, Georgia. However, it wasn’t until the Tony Awards in September 2021 that the pair confirmed their relationship as they walked the red carpet arm-in-arm and posed together inside Radio City Music Hall. In March 2022, the Night Manager alum escorted Ashton to the BAFTA Awards, where they held hands and smiled at one another.

Three days after the awards ceremony, TV presenter AJ Odudu posted a selfie with the duo from the big night on Instagram that appeared to show a large, oval-shaped diamond ring on Ashton’s finger. The photo sparked speculation that Hiddleston and the Velvet Buzzsaw actress were engaged. Us Weekly confirmed the engagement in March 2022.

Drake Bell's Wife Janet Calls Josh Peck a 'Total Piece of S--t' Amid Drama

Posted: 17 Mar 2022 01:06 PM PDT

From dynamic duo to frenemies! Drake Bell and Josh Peck skyrocketed to fame after their hit Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh premiered in 2004. Throughout four seasons and two made-for-TV movies, they starred as two completely opposite teens who became stepbrothers that were forced to share a room.

While Bell and Peck, both 30, were friends during filming, the pair seemed to have drifted after wrapping the series in 2007. Bell wasn't invited to Peck's June 2017 nuptials to Paige O'Brien, and took to Twitter to hint that he was peeved. "True colors have come out today," he wrote in since-deleted tweet. "Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I'll miss you brother."

A source told Us Weekly at the time that they haven't spoken in three years. "Josh was really hurt," the insider claims. "They aren't close anymore and Josh had a very small wedding."

A few months later, Bell confirmed to Us that they had worked out their differences and were in a good place.

“It's interesting, we're actually closer than we've been in a while … It's totally great. It's all love. We're brothers, man,” the musician told Us in September 2017. “We've been working together for 18 years, maybe even longer now. So we've had our ups, we've had our downs, it's like we're real brothers. It's kind of that sibling rivalry and sibling love and it's the whole thing."

Bell, who still believed that his reaction was “completely justifiable” revealed how the pair made amends.

"We ran into each other at the VMAs. It was cool because I had called him and we were talking about meeting up. And that's always kind of nerve-racking. 'What am I going to say? Where are we going to meet? The ride over?' So I was really happy that it happened organically,” he shared. “And he just kind of walked up behind me and I was like, 'Oh. We have to deal with this right now.' And so we were able to talk and hash it out and it's all good."

In June 2021, The Amanda Show alum was arraigned and charged with two criminal counts of attempted endangering children and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. Bell initially pleaded not guilty but later changed his plea during his pretrial hearing.

The California native was sentenced to two years probation the following month and Peck told Variety that the situation was “unfortunate.”

During an appearance on the "BFFs" podcast, Peck elaborated on his reaction to Bell's comments about his wedding. "I remember we were at the MTV Video Music Awards [in 2017] and I see him there and he sees me. I go up to him, and this might be the most Sopranos thing I have ever done, I looked at him and I go, 'Go apologize to my wife right now,'" the How I Met Your Father star recalled in March 2022. "He made a beeline for my wife and I see him do a whole five-minute performance of an apology." Peck called Bell out for "creating this narrative that just wasn't true" at the expense of his wife, adding, "It was just unfortunate the way it worked out. It was one of the few times in my life where I went blind and my emotions put me in that place." Shutterstock (2)

The Love Is Blind star, 33, shared a series of photos with his new partner via Instagram on Thursday, March 17.

"Good things come to those who w̶a̶i̶t̶ don't settle ❤," the veterinarian captioned the slideshow, which featured several selfies of the couple and a video of them joking around together.

Several days earlier, on Sunday, March 13, Chatterjee posted a photo of him and Emily at an event for the nonprofit dog shelter One Tail at a Time. "Just got auctioned off for $875. Don't tell Emily,” he wrote.

The Illinois native’s take on romance has been a hot-button issue ever since season 2 of Love Is Blind dropped last month.

The DJ frequently came under fire throughout the season for putting great importance on appearance, particularly because the premise of the show revolves around contestants getting to know each other without seeing what they look like. While his romance with Vempati, 31, initially got off to a rocky start when he attempted to determine her weight, the couple appeared to find their footing and fall in love after Chatterjee explained his own insecurities surrounding body image. Unbeknownst to the Vempati at the time, the polarizing TV personality was telling his costars that he wasn't attracted to her.

Ultimately, she left him at the altar several days after he revealed his true feelings.

The controversial contestant once again made headlines after the season 2 reunion aired earlier this month, during which he discussed his thoughts on attraction and revealed that he was attracted to host Vanessa Lachey — which her husband and cohost, Nick Lachey, didn't seem to appreciate.

The vet described attractiveness as instinctive. "We're animals," he explained.

"No, you treat animals," the 98 Degrees singer shot back. "We're human beings."

As for his relationship with Vempati today, they don't seem to have one at all. "He lacks self-awareness in social settings or even in how to talk to people," she told Us Weekly on March 4. "You know what? I realized it's not my problem anymore and I shouldn't have to deal with it. I think we're on two completely different paths."

On March 9, Chatterjee apologized to his ex-fiancée via Instagram.

"Deepti, I am truly sorry for some of the things I said. Things that, honestly, just could've been left unsaid or could have been said differently. Things that never should have been on national television," he wrote."I'm so, so sorry that I hurt you with my words. That's the last thing that I wanted from all of this. I'm sorry, Deepti."

Newlyweds! Inside Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews’ Honeymoon

Posted: 17 Mar 2022 12:27 PM PDT

Keeping the party going! Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews jetted off on a romantic honeymoon just days after tying the knot in Hawaii on Saturday, March 12.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 26, and his wife, also 26, shared snaps of their getaway starting on Tuesday, March 15, when they left Maui for an undisclosed tropical location.

The newlyweds, who share 13-month-old daughter Sterling, kicked off their couples’ vacation with in-flight champagne and fruit parfaits.

Matthews revealed via her Instagram Story on Tuesday that their travel food spread included fake candles and rose petals by the plane's window.

"Still rocking the blue and white vibe," the former college soccer player wrote via social media after seemingly arriving at their destination. Matthews posted a snap of her and her husband both dressed in white and blue, which are traditional wedding colors.

The high school sweethearts — who started dating in 2012 after meeting one year prior at Whitehouse High School in Texas — appeared to be in an exotic location based on Matthews' warm-weather attire.

The KC Current co-owner wore a yellow maxi dress and carried a matching handbag in a Wednesday, March 16, snap. She posed with the NFL player, who wore a navy Louis Vuitton T-shirt, jeans and white sneakers, for the mirror selfie on day two of their honeymoon.

The lovebirds, who got engaged in September 2020, started day three with a fruit spread that included an array of pineapple, watermelon, mango and berries.

Matthews again teased the island location on Thursday, March 17, posting a snap of a crab walking along a dock via her Instagram Story. She also shared a look at her new husband on the beach.

Ahead of their honeymoon, the Texas Tech University alum and his bride began their wedding weekend with a welcome party on the island of Maui on Friday, March 11. The Brittany Lynne Fitness entrepreneur shared moments from the night, which included cocktails and napkins that read "Almost Mahomes," via her Instagram Story.

The duo said "I do" one day later in front of family and friends. "Mr. & Mrs. Mahomes," the twosome captioned their official wedding photos via Instagram on Saturday.

In the snaps, Matthews held an all-white bouquet of flowers while holding Mahomes' hand under a giant floral arch. The pair also posed for photos with their daughter, who was one of two flower girls for the ceremony.

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews’ Relationship Timeline

Posted: 17 Mar 2022 12:22 PM PDT

Everlasting love! Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews' romance gives Us all the feels — starting with their high school sweetheart beginnings.

The couple, who got engaged in September 2020, started out as two friends in Texas who went to school together. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback became close with Matthews in 2011 when he was just a freshman at Whitehouse High School.

After giving her a rose and a Valentine's Day card the following year, the pair's friendship morphed into something more. Throughout their time in high school, the athletes rooted each other — Mahomes played both football and baseball while Matthews was a soccer star — and were each other's go-to dates for dances in the gym.

The teenage sweethearts went to different colleges, but both stayed in Texas, which helped keep their relationship alive.

"He ended up going to Texas Tech, and that's when it really hit me, 'Oh s—t, he might go play professional football," the Brittany Lynne Fitness creator told Today in December 2020 of her fiancé's football skills. "It was surreal to see him living his dream and seeing him grow as an athlete and as a man in general was just amazing."

The couple, who share two dogs and a home in Kansas City, Missouri, have been by each other's sides through all the highs and lows of their adult years, including Mahomes winning Super Bowl LIV in 2020 and losing Super Bowl LV in 2021.

In between his Super Bowl appearances, the quarterback proposed to his longtime love on the same day he received his championship ring at Arrowhead Stadium in September 2020.

"On a day that was meant to celebrate you, you turned it into celebrating us. It's always us, it's always you and me," Matthews wrote via Instagram at the time. "The words you looked into my eyes and said to me at this moment, will NEVER leave my mind! You made this day perfect, you took my entire breath away and I could not have imagined anything better. I love you, forever and always! Cheers to spending our lifetime together and an inseparable bond🎉🥂💕."

The same month, the pair announced they were expecting their first baby together, a little girl. They welcomed daughter Sterling in February 2021.

Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support one another's happiness."

Schwartz, for his part, expressed his disappointment in an Instagram post. "Well this sucks," he confessed. "How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f–kin canned Instagram caption. What picture am I supposed to use? Is there a go-to break up font?"

After noting that he was not ready to use the term divorce yet because it was "too painful," the reality star raved over his romance with Maloney. "We had some of the most blissful, romantic, fun times humanely [sic] possible over the course of our relationship," he gushed. "I'm talking heaven on earth level joy. She taught me so much about love and being a better partner."

He added: "I don't look at it as a failure. As sad as I am, still happy to say there's no anger or bitterness. Zero. Still so much love for you @musickillskate. And your family. I don't think we were ever a model couple. Maybe we are model divorcées."

Schwartz and Maloney were already dating when Vanderpump Rules premiered in 2013. They tied the knot in 2016 but later revealed that they were not legally married. The duo made things official when they exchanged vows for a second time in Las Vegas in July 2019.

One month before the split made headlines, the TomTom co-owner opened up about the pair's plans to start a family. "Time will tell," he exclusively told Us Weekly in February. "I don't know [when]."

However, Schwartz still seemed optimistic at the time, predicting that Maloney would make an "incredible mom" one day. "I love kids. We just never got around to it," he added. "It's not too late, I know."

The "You're Gonna Love Me" podcast host, meanwhile, got real about her marriage one year before the separation.

"I feel like the misconceptions of our relationship is that we are like, Tom's deeply unhappy and I'm a miserable shrew of a wife," she said during a February 2021 episode of her podcast. "I mean, we don't hide our fights. We have, you've seen on the show, like, pretty intense, horrific fights that, you know, suck. But we've always been willing and able to, like, live our relationship out loud. So you do see, like, the worst of the worst, but that's not, like, the constant daily for us."

She Ended Things
In his breakup statement, Schwartz indicated that Maloney was the one to pull the plug on their marriage. “My heart aches but I’ll be OK,” he wrote via Instagram in March. “Not looking to evoke any sympathy here. I’m not the victim. Not gonna write too sad a song. Fully respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy.”   Rob Latour/Shutterstock
They Were Fighting a Lot
A source told Us in March that the TV personalities “got into a lot of arguments” and weren’t “seeing eye-to-eye” on their relationship before calling it quits. “They tried for a long time to make it work but the truth is they’ve been struggling as a couple these past few months.”   While Schwartz “really wanted it to last between them,” Maloney “wanted for it to be over,” a second source revealed.    A third insider added, “People tend to grow apart after spending years together and that’s what happened.”   KCR/Shutterstock
Some of Their Costars Didn't Know They Broke Up
“They weren’t living this fairy tale and a lot of their friends picked up on that,” a source told Us in March, noting that some of their Vanderpump Rules castmates “weren’t even aware that they were officially separating” until they saw their social media statements.   Despite the split, the insider shared that Schwartz and Maloney will “still be part of each other’s lives” since they have the same friends. “They’re both going to continue to support each other and the businesses they’re pursuing. They are taking time to focus on themselves and figure out next steps.”   KCR/Shutterstock
Tom Sandoval Was Not to Blame
Schwartz denied that his costar Sandoval was involved in the separation. “No, no, that’s all on me,” he told photographers in March. “I wish I had a scapegoat, but that’s all on me. … It’s complicated, obviously. But nothing in particular. You know, life, you know. It’s complicated.”  Shutterstock (3)
Divorce Stalled?
“They’re not in a rush to file for divorce,” a source told Us in March. “They’re still living together — neither has moved out yet.” Mediapunch/Shutterstock

Josh Peck Recalls Drake Bell Confrontation: 'Go Apologize to My Wife'

“I remember we were at the MTV Video Music Awards [in 2017] and I see him there and he sees me. I go up to him, and this might be the most Sopranos thing I have ever done, I looked at him and I go, ‘Go apologize to my wife right now,'” the How I Met Your Father star, 35, recalled during an episode of the “BFFs” podcast on Wednesday, March 16. “He made a beeline for my wife and I see him do a whole 5-minute performance of an apology.”

Peck and Bell, 35, skyrocketed to fame when they appeared on the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh in 2004. After filming wrapped on the series in 2007, the costars quietly drifted apart as they moved on to other projects.

In 2017, Bell made headlines when he questioned why he wasn’t invited to Peck’s wedding to Paige O'Brien. "True colors have come out today," the musician wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I'll miss you brother."

The New York native, for his part, recalled on Wednesday how his former costar reached out to him on his special day to address the issue. “I am getting married that night and I see these text messages from him like cursing me out and coming for me. On the night of my wedding,” Peck told cohosts Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards and Brianna Chickenfry. “It’s delusional because it is like, ‘Bro, it is like we worked at Coffee Bean together when we were 16. I am sorry that I am 31 now and I might have lost your number.'”

The YouTuber noted that Bell was “creating this narrative that just wasn’t true” and his partner suffered the consequences of that.

“It was just unfortunate the way it worked out. It was one of the few times in my life where I went blind and my emotions put me in that place,” Peck, who shares 3-year-old son Max with his wife, added. “The dirty little secret was that I knew that Drake and I didn’t stay in touch for ten years since we made the show. But no one needed to know that. I was happy to just die with that secret that we made this thing that people really loved but we weren’t that close.”

The Ultimate Spider-Man alum previously opened up about how his encounter with Peck at the VMAs allowed them to work out their differences.

"We ran into each other at the VMAs. It was cool because I had called him and we were talking about meeting up. And that's always kind of nerve-racking. 'What am I going to say? Where are we going to meet? The ride over?' So I was really happy that it happened organically,” he exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2017. “And he just kind of walked up behind me and I was like, 'Oh. We have to deal with this right now.' And so we were able to talk and hash it out and it's all good."

At the time, Bell explained that he felt his reaction was “completely justifiable” due to the situation.

“It's interesting, we're actually closer than we've been in a while … It's totally great. It's all love. We're brothers, man,” he added. “We've been working together for 18 years, maybe even longer now. So we've had our ups, we've had our downs, it's like we're real brothers. It's kind of that sibling rivalry and sibling love and it's the whole thing."

Four years later, Bell was arraigned and charged with two criminal counts of attempted endangering children and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. The singer initially pleaded not guilty but later changed his plea during his pretrial hearing.

In response to the California native’s sentence of two years probation, Peck explained that he was just as shocked at the news.

“When Drake got into legal trouble, people ran to get my opinion. They thought I must have a take on this person I had spent so much time with, when in reality, it had been years since we'd talked and even longer since we'd seen each other,” he wrote in his memoir, Happy People Are Annoying, which was released earlier this month. “Which is why alongside everyone else who doesn't know Drake, I was upset by the inexplicable events that unfolded in his life.”

Rob Lowe and Sheryl Berkoff’s Relationship Timeline

Posted: 17 Mar 2022 11:00 AM PDT

Living their best lives! Rob Lowe and his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, have been happily married for more than 30 years — a rarity in Hollywood.

The couple first met in 1983 when they were set up on a blind date. While they didn't initially hit it off, the Parks and Recreation alum and the makeup artist reconnected several years later on the set of 1990's Bad Influence, which is where their romance blossomed.

The film may have been called Bad Influence, but the St. Elmo's Fire star has frequently praised Berkoff for having an incredible, life-changing impact on him.

"[Our relationship] made me examine how I was living my life," the "Literally! with Rob Lowe" podcast host told Haute Living in March 2014 of the beginning of his romance with the jewelry designer. "That led me to getting sober, which led me to changing my life — giving me everything I now have."

Lowe has long been open about his battle with substance abuse, and he frequently discusses how being in recovery — he's been sober for more than 30 years — has made his life rich and plentiful.

"One of the great gifts of recovery is that you start living your authentic life," the Outsiders star told Variety in February 2021. "You start living your actual values and living as who you truly are."

Prior to dating, both Lowe and Berkoff had been in relationships with other famous faces.

The 9-1-1 Lonestar lead dated Melissa Gilbert for seven years between 1980 and 1987, proposing in 1986. The two called off their engagement, and the Little House on the Prairie star wrote in her 2009 memoir, Prairie Days, that she had suffered a miscarriage. "I had lost my baby and my relationship with Rob … and it hurt like hell," she revealed. Lowe was rumored to have dated Winona Ryder from 1986 to 1988.

For her part, Berkoff reportedly dated her future husband's fellow “Brat Pack” member, Emilio Estevez, in the 1980s. She went on to romance Keanu Reeves a few years later, according to Gwyneth Paltrow. The Goop founder was a teen on the set of a TV movie (starring her mother, Blythe Danner), when she first met the industry professional, who was doing makeup for the film.

"[Berkoff] was dating Keanu Reeves, who was my celebrity crush," the Oscar winner told Lowe on his podcast in July 2020. "And she was so cool. … I just worshipped her. I thought she was literally the coolest chick of all time." Paltrow isn't the only one; the actor has done his fair share of gushing about his wife, as well.

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are engaged, Us Weekly confirms.

Inside Tom Hiddleston's Dating History

The news comes just days after they sparked speculation at the 2022 BAFTA Awards on Sunday, March 13, where the actress, 37, was photographed with a diamond ring on her left hand. The pair held hands and looked into each other’s eyes as they posed for pictures on the red carpet.

The MCU lead, 41, has been linked to the Velvet Buzzsaw star since meeting on set of the West End's 2019 production of Betrayal, in which they both starred. After opening in London of March of that year, the play transferred to Broadway in August 2019, as did its stars.

True to his Marvel character's name, Hiddleston and Ashton — who reportedly live together in Atlanta, Georgia — have kept their relationship low-key. Prior to stepping out at the BAFTAs, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Tony Awards in September 2021.

The private nature of their relationship is a departure from Hiddleston's last romance, in which he put his love for ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift on blatant display — much to her chagrin.

"She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship," a source told Us Weekly about the pair's split in September 2016 after three months of dating. "Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection, but Tom didn't listen to her concerns when she brought them up."

At the time, the two were frequently photographed at the 31-year-old singer's Rhode Island beach house, including over the 4th of July when Hiddleston wore a tank top emblazoned with the phrase, "I [Heart] T.S." They also traveled all over the world during their brief time together, visiting Swift's parents in Nashville, Hiddleston's parents in London, and vacationing in Rome and Australia.

The Crimson Peak actor later revealed that his relationship with the Grammy winner taught him to be more private when it comes to his personal life.

"I'm still trying to work out a way of having a personal life and protecting it, but also without hiding," he told GQ in February 2017. He echoed this sentiment two years later, while he and Ashton were starring opposite each other in Betrayal.

“I’m protective about my internal world now in probably a different way,” the Night Manager alum revealed to The New York Times in August 2019. “If you go through life without connecting to people, how much could you call that a life? Because you have to fight for love. You can’t live in fear of what people might say.”

Man of the Hour! Rob Kardashian Gets Love From His Family on 35th Birthday

Posted: 17 Mar 2022 10:34 AM PDT

No. 1 guy! Rob Kardashian received an outpouring of love from his family as he rang in his 35th birthday on Thursday, March 17.

Khloé Kardashian called the Arthur George designer the "best brother in the world" and her "little leprechaun" because Rob was born on St. Patrick's Day.

"I hope you know how dope you are. You're one of my favorite people on this planet," the Strong Looks Better Naked author, 37, wrote in an Instagram tribute on Thursday. "I want you to know how honored I am to be your sister. I would do anything for you! You are my best friend!"

The former Revenge Body host — who is closest in age to Rob out of all of their siblings — sang her brother's praises while sharing throwback photos and videos from their years together.

"Truly, you're the funniest guy I know! Never change your gentle and hysterically silly spirit!! Continue to find your best self," Khloé added. "Continue to keep your head held high as you find your way through this insane life. Continue being the best daddy you can be. You're a special kind of guy @robkardashianofficial."

The series of photos included a squad photo with the duo's other sisters, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. There were also snaps of Khloé and Rob goofing off in different photo booths and a video of him dancing around the house.

"I love you forever and always Bobby boy! 🍀🍀🍀💚💚💚," the Kocktails With Khloé alum concluded.

The Skims founder, 41, penned her own sweet message for the Grandeza hot sauce founder in honor of his big day.

"I love you so much Robbie!" Kim captioned an old photo of the duo riding a jet ski together. "I love how our daughters are besties! Seeing u be the best dad makes me so happy! Dream is so lucky to have you just like we all are! 🍀🍀🍀 I knew you would be our good luck charm being born today 🍀." (Kim shares daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 4, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2, with ex-husband Kanye West. Rob, for his part, is the father of Dream, 5, whom he shares with ex Blac Chyna.)

The family's matriarch, Kris Jenner, showed her only son some love via Instagram on Thursday, sharing memories from his time growing up. Her tribute included mother-son snaps and moments of Rob with his late father, Robert Kardashian.

"You have grown into the most beautiful soul, the best father ever, the most amazing brother, uncle, grandson, and friend," the 66-year-old momager captioned the pictures, which also featured a throwback of the birthday boy in his little league baseball uniform.

Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe's Wedding Likely Pushed to 2023

Posted: 17 Mar 2022 10:13 AM PDT

Here comes the bride … when the wedding industry allows! Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe were aiming to wed in 2022, but the couple may have to wait a beat to exchange vows.

"I have been in charge of what I would say is the wedding planner negotiations," the Restart Roadmap author, 33, exclusively told Us Weekly, noting they are using the same wedding planning as Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti."We were just so impressed at that wedding that it was a really, really a good fit."

Bristowe, 36, previously told Us in December 2021 that Tartick would have to take over planning the nuptials as she went on tour with Dancing With the Stars. She wraps her leg of the tour this week.

"We are gonna start looking at venues here in Nashville," Tartick told Us of the plan upon Bristowe's return. "And ideally we find the venue we want here in Nashville. And with that venue comes a date. And the big issue with wedding planning right now is you have this perception of when you think you’re gonna get married, like, Kaitlyn did [with] fall of 2022. And then you find your perfect venue and with all the cancellations and pushbacks of weddings, it is getting pushed back significantly. I think that we’re just going to check out the venues and realistically, based on the information we have in the market, it might not be until early 2023 because of the pushbacks."

The Bachelor season 19 alum and the Bachelorette season 14 alum got engaged in May 2021 after going public with their romance in January 2019.

"When Kaitlyn and I look at kind of our life and our life’s work, you know, so many of her friendships and relationships are on the West Coast and in Canada. So many of my friendships and relationships are on the East Coast," Tartick told Us. "And our fathers have met, our mothers have never met face to face and my mother has never met Kaitlyn's father face to face. And so this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for us to bring our life’s work — all the people that we love in one room in Nashville, Tennessee. And I think that’s why we’re putting so much attention to the detail."

The "Trading Secrets" podcast host added, "Imagine that dance floor — you're going to have people from Dancing With the Stars, Bachelor Nation. You’ll have Buffalonians trying to, like, jump through tables like the Bills. It’s gonna be something else."

In the meantime, Tartick is preparing for the release of The Restart Roadmap, on April 5.

"There's a lot of how-to career books out there. So the goal was to keep it entertaining, engaging and with every single chapter there to be actionable takeaways, which there are," he told Us. "It's a guide for anyone that's rethinking their profession [or] making the slightest adjustments, like, negotiating for themselves with their bosses within their work environment or the most material move as far as changing an industry completely [leaving] your job. But I do it through engaging storytelling and from my experience behind-the-scenes of unscripted television to the offices of some of Forbes' most powerful people [on Wall Street]. There's a lot of lessons to be learned and this is an eight-step process that will help people do just that."
