| Marvel Stars' Dating Histories Through the Years Posted: 17 Mar 2022 05:01 PM PDT Superheroes want love too! Romantic relationships have always been a key part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even if those story lines sometimes take a backseat to the action. Stars within the franchise have not only connected meaningfully on screen, but they have also found romance in their real lives. Scarlett Johansson, for one, married Colin Jost in October 2020, once she was already well established in her role as Black Widow. Although the Saturday Night Live star's fascination with Marvel would seem like a positive thing, the actress revealed in June 2021 that there was a downside to her husband being a fan of her work. "He read comics growing up," Johansson explained on SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Podcast With Julia Cunningham" at the time. "He was a big Wolverine fan. He doesn’t like any spoilers though, so I can’t tell him anything. And he doesn’t even pry. Even if I’m telling him — when we were shooting [Black Widow] in London, Colin was also there. He was shooting Tom and Jerry, which worked out great. 'Cause we were together in the same city for a long time, which is rare. And if I was in the middle of a big action set piece or sequence or whatever, he couldn’t hear. He was just not wanting to hear anything about it — anything about the details. Of course, he wants to know, 'How was your day?' but as soon as it would bleed into, 'Can you read the scene with [me]?' he was like, 'Am I going to get any spoilers or like?' He wanted to know spoiler alert before we read lines together. Can you believe that?" While the Oscar nominee found The One in the form of a Marvel devotee, the franchise is not without its on-set romances. Tom Holland and Zendaya play love interests Peter and MJ, respectively, in the Spider-Man films, leading to a real-life spark between the costars. The pair repeatedly shut down rumors that they were an item after first being linked in 2017. "We are friends," the Euphoria star told Variety at the time. "He's a great dude. He's literally one of my best friends. This past how[ever] many months we've had to do press tours together. There's very few people that will understand what that's like at 20 years old." | Inside ‘Love Is Blind’ Star Shake’s New Romance: It’s Moved ‘Quickly’ Posted: 17 Mar 2022 04:19 PM PDT  Love is all around. Abhishek "Shake" Chatterjee did not let his experience on season 2 of Love Is Blind keep him from searching for The One. He has since moved on with girlfriend Emily Wilson after finding an instant connection with her. "They met when he was visiting Miami," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the couple. "She lives in Miami. They’re making long distance work." Shake, 33, unveiled his relationship with Emily on Thursday, March 17. "Good things come to those who "It’s moved really quickly. She’s really, really happy, and it seems pretty serious — as serious it can be after a couple weeks of dating," the insider adds. "She thinks that he could be The One — it’s that type of seriousness. Like, a love-at-first-sight type of relationship."  Shake and Emily are "always in communication" and have been "inseparable" since they met, the source shares, noting that he has spent time in Miami with her and she has visited him in Chicago. As for whether his appearance on Love Is Blind has affected their relationship, the insider tells Us, "She’s supportive of Shake and has his back for sure. She doesn’t think that he is how everyone’s portraying him." All in all, Shake and Emily "seem like they’re a good match" since they are both outgoing, according to the source. The veterinarian sparked controversy during season 2 of Love Is Blind when he attempted to determine Deepti Vempati's weight and told his costars that he was not attracted to her. She ultimately left him at the altar after he revealed how he really felt about her. Deepti, 31, opened up earlier this month about where she stands with Shake after filming the Netflix reality show. "He lacks self-awareness in social settings or even in how to talk to people," she exclusively told Us. "You know what? I realized it's not my problem anymore and I shouldn't have to deal with it. I think we're on two completely different paths." Days later, Shake apologized to his ex via Instagram. "Deepti, I am truly sorry for some of the things I said. Things that, honestly, just could've been left unsaid or could have been said differently. Things that never should have been on national television," he noted on March 8. Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are "truly past the honeymoon phase" of their relationship, but they are still going strong, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. The newly engaged couple are "looking to build a long-term future together," the insider says, explaining that the Kong: Skull Island actor, 41, and the Velvet Buzzsaw actress, 37, are both "hugely ambitious but still make time to relax and switch off from work as often as they can." The couple's dedication to both their craft and their downtime helps them better "recharge their batteries" and gives them "a chance to keep building" on their romance, per the source. The Loki star is a "very private" person when it comes to his love life, which is part of the reason he took his time before going public with Ashton, the insider explains. However, the pair's choice to stay out of the limelight hasn't put a damper on their date nights. While the Night Manager alum and the Greta star "love the finer things in life," they enjoy letting their hair down from time to time. "They also love to let loose and rock out with friends, whether it's at a house party or heading to a local bar or restaurant," the source tells Us. Several celebrity couples took their love to the next level in 2022 by getting engaged. Josh Duhamel popped the question to Audra Mari in January after two years of dating. The actor was previously married to Fergie from 2009 to 2019, and the exes share son Axl, whom they welcomed in August 2013. "They are both really good people and committed to their son, but they are too different to make it work," a source told Us Weekly in September 2017 shortly after the duo confirmed their split. Fergie opened up in October 2017 about calling it quits with Duhamel. "It wasn't my plan," she said on The Wendy Williams Show at the time. "I wanted to stay married forever." | 'DWTS' Champ Daniella Karagach Injured During Show's Live Tour: Details Posted: 17 Mar 2022 03:24 PM PDT  On the mend! Daniella Karagach was injured while performing during the Dancing With the Stars Live 2022 tour. "Daniella unfortunately sustained an injury during last night's show," a rep for the touring production told Us Weekly on Thursday, March 17, about the 29-year-old mirrorball champ. "She was tended to by our on-tour physio and then treated at a local hospital. She is resting now and receiving excellent care. The entire cast and crew is wishing her a speedy recovery." Karagach and her season 30 partner, Iman Shumpert, had been performing across the United States alongside the rest of the ABC professionals. The tour rep explained that Karagach's injuries were sustained mid-performance during the Wednesday, March 16, show in Riverside, California.  The World of Dance alum — who married fellow DWTS pro Pasha Pashkov in July 2014 — announced via her social media that she will be sitting out the rest of the tour. "Well, this was definitely not the way I thought tour would end but I'm grateful for the time I had. This was truly a special experience for me and I've had the best time being a part of this immensely talented cast," Karagach wrote via Instagram on Thursday. "I love my @dancingabc fam so much and I know you guys will keep kicking ass!! The New York native joined the ABC competition in 2019 as a member of the troupe. The following season she was partnered with rapper Nelly, and they made it all the way to the finals. Later, she and Shumpert, 31, took home the mirrorball during season 30. "My name will get talked about a lot for this, but I couldn't have had a better coach [or] made a better friend," the NBA athlete gushed about Karagach to Us and other reporters shortly after the November 2021 finale. "Seriously, like, if this is not an ode to all the incredible work that you've done over your lifetime of being a real professional dancer — to be able to cram years of experience into what? We've been here three months? To see the end result be me holding the mirrorball, you're an incredible person, an incredible teacher and incredible coach and an amazing friend. "Hi DWTS family — My time on tour so far has been wonderful — unfortunately I am having to step away from tour for a while, due to some unexpected health issues," the Russia native, 39, wrote in an Instagram statement on January 20. But I know for a fact that God has her in the palms of his hands, and that's a good thing.” The model, 25, was hospitalized on Thursday, March 10, after experiencing “stroke-like symptoms” that were affecting her movement. “I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke like symptoms and was taken to the hospital," Hailey shared via her Instagram Story two days later. “They found I had suffered a very small blood clot in my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.” Though the “Who's in My Bathroom" YouTube personality described the incident as “one of the scariest moments I've ever been through,” she was able to recover quickly and return home. “I'm so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!” Hailey continued. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love.” In the days following Hailey’s recovery, the “Baby” singer was “spending every moment” with his wife. “Justin has been worried sick," a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this week. “[He] feels very out of control of the situation.” The former Drop the Mic host returned the support a few days later, when she was spotted at Justin’s concert in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Sunday, March 13. She noted that none of her fellow Housewives would be a part of the ceremony. “I did find out on TV that I’m not going to be in Teresa’s wedding and I’m not a bridesmaid, which I’m OK with. I’m fine with [it]," Gorga said on the Thursday, March 17, episode of her "Melissa Gorga on Display" podcast on PodcastOne. "I understand. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback became close with Matthews in 2011 when he was just a freshman at Whitehouse High School. After Delilah Belle Hamlin was spotted with Ray Nicholson, it didn't take long for the pair to spark dating rumors. Now, the model is setting the record straight about their status. "As of now, he’s a friend," the 23-year-old daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin told E! News on Wednesday, March 16. While Delilah and the 30-year-old Panic alum — who's the son of Jack Nicholson and Rebecca Broussard — are platonic pals at the moment, the romance speculation comes nearly four months after she and Eyal Booker broke up.  The California native and the Love Island UK alum, 26, were first linked in 2019, with the England native being her "rock" as she recovered from her Xanax overdose late last year. "[Eyal]'s been super supportive all along," a source exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2021, noting that "it's been hard on him too but he's 100 percent there for her." Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz announced their separation after more than 10 years together, leaving fans to question why they called it quits. "After 12 years on an adventure through life together Tom and I are ending our marriage," Maloney wrote in a statement shared via Instagram in March after being spotted without her wedding ring earlier that month. "This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose. We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship. Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support one another's happiness." Schwartz, for his part, expressed his disappointment in an Instagram post. "Well this sucks," he confessed. "How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f–kin canned Instagram caption. What picture am I supposed to use? Is there a go-to break up font?" After noting that he was not ready to use the term divorce yet because it was "too painful," the reality star raved over his romance with Maloney. "We had some of the most blissful, romantic, fun times humanely [sic] possible over the course of our relationship," he gushed. "I'm talking heaven on earth level joy. Josh Peck didn’t publicly react to Drake Bell‘s comments about not being invited to his wedding — until now. “I remember we were at the MTV Video Music Awards [in 2017] and I see him there and he sees me. I go up to him, and this might be the most Sopranos thing I have ever done, I looked at him and I go, ‘Go apologize to my wife right now,'” the How I Met Your Father star, 35, recalled during an episode of the “BFFs” podcast on Wednesday, March 16. “He made a beeline for my wife and I see him do a whole 5-minute performance of an apology.” Peck and Bell, 35, skyrocketed to fame when they appeared on the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh in 2004. After filming wrapped on the series in 2007, the costars quietly drifted apart as they moved on to other projects. In 2017, Bell made headlines when he questioned why he wasn’t invited to Peck’s wedding to Paige O'Brien. "True colors have come out today," the musician wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I'll miss you brother." The New York native, for his part, recalled on Wednesday how his former costar reached out to him on his special day to address the issue. “I am getting married that night and I see these text messages from him like cursing me out and coming for me. On the night of my wedding,” Peck told cohosts Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards and Brianna Chickenfry. “It’s delusional because it is like, ‘Bro, it is like we worked at Coffee Bean together when we were 16. I am sorry that I am 31 now and I might have lost your number.'” The YouTuber noted that Bell was “creating this narrative that just wasn’t true” and his partner suffered the consequences of that. “It was just unfortunate the way it worked out. It was one of the few times in my life where I went blind and my emotions put me in that place,” Peck, who shares 3-year-old son Max with his wife, added. “The dirty little secret was that I knew that Drake and I didn’t stay in touch for ten years since we made the show. But no one needed to know that. I was happy to just die with that secret that we made this thing that people really loved but we weren’t that close.” The Ultimate Spider-Man alum previously opened up about how his encounter with Peck at the VMAs allowed them to work out their differences. "We ran into each other at the VMAs. It was cool because I had called him and we were talking about meeting up. And that's always kind of nerve-racking. 'What am I going to say? Where are we going to meet? The ride over?' So I was really happy that it happened organically,” he exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2017. “And he just kind of walked up behind me and I was like, 'Oh. We have to deal with this right now.' And so we were able to talk and hash it out and it's all good." At the time, Bell explained that he felt his reaction was “completely justifiable” due to the situation. “It's interesting, we're actually closer than we've been in a while … It's totally great. It's all love. We're brothers, man,” he added. “We've been working together for 18 years, maybe even longer now. So we've had our ups, we've had our downs, it's like we're real brothers. It's kind of that sibling rivalry and sibling love and it's the whole thing." Four years later, Bell was arraigned and charged with two criminal counts of attempted endangering children and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. The singer initially pleaded not guilty but later changed his plea during his pretrial hearing. In response to the California native’s sentence of two years probation, Peck explained that he was just as shocked at the news. “When Drake got into legal trouble, people ran to get my opinion. Rob Lowe and his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, have been happily married for more than 30 years — a rarity in Hollywood. The couple first met in 1983 when they were set up on a blind date. While they didn't initially hit it off, the Parks and Recreation alum and the makeup artist reconnected several years later on the set of 1990's Bad Influence, which is where their romance blossomed. The film may have been called Bad Influence, but the St. Elmo's Fire star has frequently praised Berkoff for having an incredible, life-changing impact on him. "[Our relationship] made me examine how I was living my life," the "Literally! with Rob Lowe" podcast host told Haute Living in March 2014 of the beginning of his romance with the jewelry designer. "That led me to getting sober, which led me to changing my life — giving me everything I now have." Lowe has long been open about his battle with substance abuse, and he frequently discusses how being in recovery — he's been sober for more than 30 years — has made his life rich and plentiful. "One of the great gifts of recovery is that you start living your authentic life," the Outsiders star told Variety in February 2021. The news comes just days after they sparked speculation at the 2022 BAFTA Awards on Sunday, March 13, where the actress, 37, was photographed with a diamond ring on her left hand. The pair held hands and looked into each other’s eyes as they posed for pictures on the red carpet. The MCU lead, 41, has been linked to the Velvet Buzzsaw star since meeting on set of the West End's 2019 production of Betrayal, in which they both starred. After opening in London of March of that year, the play transferred to Broadway in August 2019, as did its stars. True to his Marvel character's name, Hiddleston and Ashton — who reportedly live together in Atlanta, Georgia — have kept their relationship low-key. Prior to stepping out at the BAFTAs, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Tony Awards in September 2021. The private nature of their relationship is a departure from Hiddleston's last romance, in which he put his love for ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift on blatant display — much to her chagrin. | Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe's Wedding Likely Pushed to 2023 Posted: 17 Mar 2022 10:13 AM PDT Here comes the bride … when the wedding industry allows! Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe were aiming to wed in 2022, but the couple may have to wait a beat to exchange vows. "I have been in charge of what I would say is the wedding planner negotiations," the Restart Roadmap author, 33, exclusively told Us Weekly, noting they are using the same wedding planning as Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti."We were just so impressed at that wedding that it was a really, really a good fit." Bristowe, 36, previously told Us in December 2021 that Tartick would have to take over planning the nuptials as she went on tour with Dancing With the Stars. She wraps her leg of the tour this week. "We are gonna start looking at venues here in Nashville," Tartick told Us of the plan upon Bristowe's return. "And ideally we find the venue we want here in Nashville. And with that venue comes a date. And the big issue with wedding planning right now is you have this perception of when you think you’re gonna get married, like, Kaitlyn did [with] fall of 2022. And then you find your perfect venue and with all the cancellations and pushbacks of weddings, it is getting pushed back significantly. I think that we’re just going to check out the venues and realistically, based on the information we have in the market, it might not be until early 2023 because of the pushbacks." The Bachelor season 19 alum and the Bachelorette season 14 alum got engaged in May 2021 after going public with their romance in January 2019. "When Kaitlyn and I look at kind of our life and our life’s work, you know, so many of her friendships and relationships are on the West Coast and in Canada. So many of my friendships and relationships are on the East Coast," Tartick told Us. "And our fathers have met, our mothers have never met face to face and my mother has never met Kaitlyn's father face to face. And so this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for us to bring our life’s work — all the people that we love in one room in Nashville, Tennessee. And I think that’s why we’re putting so much attention to the detail."
