Sting Gives Rare 'Russians' Performance to Support Peace in Ukraine: 'Stop the War' Posted: 05 Mar 2022 04:04 PM PST ![]() Speaking out. Sting returned to a 1985 song that he hoped would no longer be needed more than 30 years later. “I've only rarely sung this song in the many years since it was written, because I never thought it would be relevant again,” the 70-year-old told fans in a video via Instagram on Saturday, March 5. “But, in the light of one man's bloody and woefully misguided decision to invade a peaceful, unthreatening neighbor, the song is, once again, a plea for our common humanity.” The song, simply titled “Russians,” was first released as a single from The Dream of the Blue Turtles, his first solo album after breaking away from his band, The Police. It was among his highest charting songs in the first decade of his solo career. In Saturday’s video, Sting concluded, “For the brave Ukrainians fighting against this brutal tyranny and also the many Russians who are protesting this outrage — despite the threat of arrest and imprisonment – We, all of us, love our children. Stop the war.” The Only Murders in the Building actor launched into a live version of the song, recorded along with cellist Ramiro Belgardt. His caption included an address to send supplies to Ukrainian refugees in Poland as well as information hotlines and a link to Help Ukraine. The England native, who has been married to wife Trudie Styler since 1992, wrote the song amid the Cold War, which didn’t end until 1991. The musician said in the 2007 book Lyrics by Sting that he’d been inspired while with a friend at Columbia University who had access to a computer that intercepted a Soviet TV signal, and he was taken aback by the wholesome nature of a children’s program. “The shows seemed thoughtful and sweet, and I suddenly felt the need to state something obvious in the face of all this rhetoric: Russians love their children just as we do,” he explained in the book. Sting told Record Magazine in 1985 that he doesn’t consider “Russians” to be in favor of Russian rule at all. “It's up to individuals to make contact with one's counterpart behind the so-called Iron Curtain in order to ascertain and confirm that they are human beings and not demographic sub-robotic morons,” he said at the time. He added, “It's not a pro-Soviet song, it's pro-children.” Sting is the latest in a growing number of stars who have called for peace amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds donated $1 million to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Bethenny Frankel‘s B Strong is on the ground getting supplies to displaced people. Ashton Kutcher and wife Mila Kunis, who was born in Ukraine, have also launched a GoFundMe campaign for refugees, which included a promise to match up to $3 million in donations. They aim to raise $30 million overall. “Today, I am a proud Ukrainian. While my family came to the United States in 1991, I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983,” Kunis, 38, wrote alongside the fundraiser. “Ukrainians are proud and brave people who deserve our help in their time of need. This unjust attack on Ukraine and humanity at large is devastating and the Ukrainian people need our support. Our family is starting this fund to help provide immediate support and we will be matching up to $3 million dollars.” The Black Swan star added, “While we are witnessing the bravery of Ukrainians, we are also bearing witness to the unimaginable burden of those who have chosen safety. Countless amounts of people have left everything they know and love behind to seek refuge. With nothing but what they could carry, these Ukrainian refugees are in need of housing and supplies right away.” |

The Bulgaria native even took the mic to pay tribute to her boyfriend's successful career. "Bring back the flowing locks to celebrate this 'old guy' retiring at 35," she wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, sharing more party footage. The California native, 35, announced his retirement plans before competing in the Beijing 2022 Olympics. "You know, for me, this has all had this amazing glow to every single decision, every single competition because I have decided this will be my last Olympics and with that, I've given it my all," White told reporters during a press conference last month. "There's been some ups and downs along the way to get here but through all of that, I feel like I've gotten stronger [and] gotten better — and now, I'm with these amazing teammates and I'm just so excited about everything." The X Games champion continued: "[I'm] just enjoying everything single moment and, I don't know, I've done so much in the sport. … I definitely don't think I'll be leaving the sport anytime soon. I think the beautiful part about snowboarding is there's still a life to be had within the sport outside of competition. So, I'm excited for that next chapter." White — who competed at the Olympics five times and earned three gold medals for halfpipe snowboarding — ended the Beijing competition in fourth place, just shy of a podium finish. "I just want to thank everyone for watching. Everyone at home, thank you," the Air + Style founder told NBC after his event concluded on February 10. "Snowboarding, thank you. It's been the love of my life. I wanted more today, but I'll take what I can get. I'm proud. It's been my life. Thank you, it's been a journey." The Fresh Vine Wine founder — who has been dating White since 2020 — was dutifully watching on her man throughout the Games. "We'll be anxiously watching from home and cheering him on," Dobrev exclusively told Us Weekly in February. "I'm very, very excited for him. I can't wait. Nina Dobrev and Shaun White: A Timeline of Their Relationship Posted: 05 Mar 2022 02:08 PM PST More than a summer fling! Nina Dobrev and Shaun White's whirlwind romance has gotten very serious, very quickly. The Vampire Diaries alum and the professional snowboarder sparked dating rumors in February 2020 when fans noticed that they had shared similar photos from a trip to South Africa. One month later, they were photographed together for the first time during a bike ride in Malibu. Us Weekly broke the news in April 2020 that Dobrev and White were, in fact, a couple. A source said at the time, "They're enjoying their time together and getting to know each other better. Nina really likes Shaun, and they both laugh a lot together." The actress made their relationship Instagram official in May 2020 when she shared a photo of herself holding a pair of scissors while the athlete jokingly looked afraid. White later uploaded a video of Dobrev changing up his look, which he captioned, "My hairstylist said he wouldn't, so she did. #QuarantineCuts." An insider exclusively revealed to Us at the time that the duo were "living together" amid the COVID-19 pandemic. "They're super compatible and both free-spirited people," the insider added. "They're very comfortable around each other and both supportive of one another in their fields." Things heated up between Dobrev and White in August 2020 when they took a trip to Tulum, Mexico, where they were spotted getting cozy on a beach and in the water. "Nina and Shaun have gotten really close during the quarantine and have been having the best time traveling together," a source exclusively told Us. "Shaun is super happy and loving life." As the couple's romance has developed, they've become pros at balancing busy schedules and making time to see one another. "We have a nice little system of how to stay in touch," White exclusively told Us Weekly about how the duo manages long-distance dating in October 2021. "Plane tickets are pretty much booked for any opportunity that we can go see one another. So, I know during the holiday break, we're going to meet up, and we're going to meet up again probably around Christmas time. Anything that happens in between, then I'll jet over and see her. You just make it work." He added at the time: "I think that's the goal of it all and the key to it all is just making the time. [Nina’s] super organized and on top of it, so I give it to her. She always finds a way to make it happen." The Degrassi: The Next Generation alum previously dated her Vampire Diaries costar Ian Somerhalder from 2011 to 2013, Bridge of Spies actor Austin Stowell from 2015 to 2016 and former Scream Queens star Glen Powell for most of 2017. Michelle and Nayte Reunite With ‘Bachelorette' Alums for ‘Family Feud’ Posted: 05 Mar 2022 01:45 PM PST From roses to happily ever after! As soon as Nayte Olukoya stepped out of the limo to vie for Michelle Young‘s heart, viewers could tell there was something special between him and the season 18 Bachelorette. Nayte received the first impression rose during the October 2021 premiere of the ABC show, and he later said he didn’t understand the significance of the gesture at the time. “Obviously, you can assume that it’s just who Michelle [Young] had a really good first impression of, right?” he said on an episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast that same month. “But, like, the world of Bachelor Nation? I didn’t have a clue.” While sparks continued to fly between the pair, the Minnesota native found herself falling in love with runner-up Brandon Jones as well. After revealing in the December 2021 finale that she was “in love with them both,” the teacher was forced to face her feelings for her remaining two suitors. “They have given me everything that I’ve asked for and tomorrow is going to be the hardest decision I’ve ever made,” she explained during a confessional in the emotional episode. After Brandon and Nayte each chose Neil Lane engagement rings, the former Bachelor contestant turned down the Texas native’s proposal, noting, "It's not that I don't love you, because I do. It's just that my heart is pushing me in a different direction and I have to go with what I feel and it hurts so much because you are this unbelievable person.” Michelle later reflected on her instant connection with her now-fiancé after he got down on one knee. "This has not necessarily been a smooth ride, but I’m also not willing to face that fear of walking away from this without you," she shared. "Because I have never felt a love like this before. And I love you with my entire heart and don’t ever want to think about waking up next to anyone besides you and doing life with anyone besides you. And at the end, I wanted to be standing in front of my soulmate and he is definitely standing right in front of me." During the live After the Final Rose special, Michelle opened up about how much closer the couple became after they finished filming the reality series. "I think what’s so hard is that you go through this experience and you have these magical moments, and you leave, like, in love, but then you spend so much more time together. You get to text, FaceTime, talk to each other’s families come and get significantly closer," she said in December 2021. "I think the biggest thing is we communicate through everything. And it doesn’t always have to be this perfect communication but we both know we’re going to stick in it. We are going to not let go. We are going to hold on, and that is the biggest part. Because it is not easy. There’s going to be uncomfortable emotions, and we definitely had them." Nayte, for his part, candidly discussed his love for Michelle as fans got to see them take the next step in their relationship. “Michelle, ever since September 9th, 2021, when I got on one knee to ask you to spend the rest of our lives together, it has been an absolute dream come true,” he wrote in a lengthy Instagram post at the time. “There will inevitably be ups and downs, just like any other strong relationship. But I don't care if it's tomorrow, 5 years from now, or 50 years from now. I plan on always giving you my full effort and working through life with you.” Scroll down to relive Michelle and Nayte’s sweet romance: ![]() The Canada native stood out from the start of Michelle's Bachelorette journey, receiving the first impression rose and the first kiss of the 18th season. During an interview on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast in October 2021, Nayte admitted that he didn't expect to reach both milestones, noting, "I'm not a smooth individual." Although the contestant wasn't "expecting" a kiss so soon, he said it was an "ever happy" moment for him. ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() Amid concerns that Nayte was not ready to get married, the account executive set the record straight on the “Click Bait” podcast in December 2021, saying, “When Michelle's asking me, like, ‘There’s one thing between being in love with somebody or falling in love with somebody, and then an engagement,' what I was trying to say in that moment was, ‘I don't have all the answers. I don't know what life is going to look if you and I [were] to leave this bubble.’” He added: "All I knew is that I trust myself, like, I trust that I'm falling in love with you, I'm trusting that I seriously want to be with you. And I don't have all the answers. … I’m not the perfect answer guy who's going to tell you everything you want to hear." Michelle, for her part, explained that there was more to Nayte than met viewers' eyes. “When Nayte just stepped out of the limo, he was just very confident — but he didn't have that overconfidence. He was still nervous,” she excluslveiy told Us Weekly while her season aired. “I was nervous as well. Through the season, [I've] always enjoyed peeling back different layers, and, at the moment in the season, I’m really, truly figuring out just how many layers he has.” ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() After sending Brandon packing, Michelle said yes to Nayte's proposal, calling him her “person.” Nayte, for his part, gushed: “Michelle, the very first night I met you, I knew right then and there that we had a connection that I wanted to hold on to. The second night that we were together, we talked about running away together. I’m standing in front of you right now and the feelings are the same. I want to run away with you. I want to run away to forever with a woman that I've come to love this amazingly, crazy, wow kind of love. And through this journey, you've shared a lot of vulnerable sides of your past and I know that you've felt unseen at times and I want to let you know that I am completely prepared, willing and ready to make sure that you are always chosen first, seen now, today, tomorrow and for the rest of our lives. I love you, Michelle.” ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() During the After the Final Rose special, Michelle’s mom, Lavonne Young, responded to the assumption that she favored Brandon over her future son-in-law. “We are in love with Nayte. Absolutely in love with Nayte,” she told host Kaitlyn Bristowe in December 2021. “You know, Michelle, I don't know if she's told you, but she shared one of the texts that you sent her, and I won't say — but it was beautiful. It was so heartwarming. It was so — it made me cry.” Nayte’s mother, also revealed that she and Lavonne were in contact "after each episode" aired. ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() Nayte took to social media to call out "the edit" that his relationship received throughout season 18 after viewers watched him pop the question on screen. "Thank you for seeing past what people have always seemed to get stuck on when it comes to me. My whole life people have taken one look at me and thought they had me all figured out," he captioned an Instagram post in December 2021. "Maybe it’s the tattoos and piercings. Maybe it’s the way I carry myself. Maybe it’s as silly as my height or as ignorant as the color of my skin. Maybe it’s how awful I am at expressing myself or how gosh darn awkward I almost always am." The Bachelorette contestant credited his fiancée for embracing his true identity, despite fans' opinions that he was a "walking red flag." He continued, "But you, Michelle, you saw me for me from the very first night, and I will always always always love and appreciate you for that." He concluded: "All in all, Michelle, you’re all I see, you’re all I’ve ever wanted, and you’re all I’ll ever want. Thank you for being you and thank you for being the one to unlock my hearts potential. I can’t get enough of living this dream come true with you." ABC/Craig Sjodin ![]() Following the conclusion of her journey, Michelle addressed why her love story didn't need to be "perceived as perfect" to others. "As long as it’s perfect for you and me," she wrote in a lengthy tribute to her fiancé via Instagram in December 2021. "You’ve quickly become the pep in my step, The reason I smile through hard days. I love the way you love, You make me feel beautiful in so many ways." The reality star noted that although they have "no idea what’s in life’s plan," she was "incredibly at peace" having Nayte by her side. We’re looking at different options. We’re definitely feeling it all out,” he explained, while Michelle chimed in: “We like to make sure that we’re always making very calculated decisions, we’re always looking at all of our options. Yeah, it’ll happen.” As for their wedding plans, Nayte noted that they “didn’t put a timeline” on their big day. “We were really talking about the [summer] season, but what I can say is we both have so many friends and family members and just people that we would want to be part of that day, so a pandemic wedding is not something that we’re really looking at,” Michelle added. Staying Friends! Celebrity Exes Who Have Stayed Close Posted: 05 Mar 2022 01:30 PM PST Love lost doesn't mean friendship lost for all famous exes! Several former celebrity couples have proven that pumping the brakes on their romance doesn't mean that they can't become friends afterward. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's post-breakup bond has become the golden standard for cordial former lovers. The A-listers got married in 1987 and finalized their divorce in 2000 after having three children: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. Two decades after their split, the pair spent part of the coronavirus pandemic together in early 2020 while quarantining alongside their daughters in Idaho. (Willis' wife, Emma Heming, later joined the exes and brought daughters Mabel and Evelyn.) "We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we're probably as close now as we ever were," the Die Hard star told Rolling Stone in 2000. "We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside." Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, meanwhile, began dating in 2003 but split in 2007. After calling it quits, the former flames costarred in 2011's raunchy comedy Bad Teacher — a film that saw the pair's characters hook up on screen. At the time of Bad Teacher's release, the "Can't Stop the Feeling" crooner said that he didn't feel awkward filming the intimate scene with Diaz. "I didn't look at it like that," he previously told Access Hollywood. "We obviously know each other, but I looked at it as a really funny, funny scene that I've never seen done before." Timberlake continued, "What I actually remember was, you know, they got to my closeup for that scene, so I was just kind of by myself — which is hard to imitate in real life. Alex Borstein: 25 Things You Don't Know About Me! Posted: 05 Mar 2022 01:00 PM PST ![]() What a marvel! Alex Borstein has been stealing scenes on the small screen for the past three decades. The Emmy winner is currently keeping everyone in stitches on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She previously wowed viewers on Gilmore Girls as Drella. Borstein went on to star on MadTV, portraying a variety of goofy characters. The Illinois native also found success voicing animated TV characters, including Wonder Woman on Robot Chicken and Lois Griffin on Family Guy. She’s been a part of the Fox series since 1999. Off screen, Borstein’s life is just as funny and full of surprises as her fans would think — and she told Us Weekly all about it in the latest magazine issue on newsstands now.
But outside of her impressive comedy career, how much do Borstein’s fans know about her? The Gilmore Girls alum opened up to Us exclusively about herself — including her three-step stress reliever and the reason she used to skip school as a teen. Scroll down to learn more about Borstein: 1. I've known my best friend since we were 12. Every year for our birthdays, we buy each other jewelry. 2. I took my father's car for a joyride when I was 15 years old. It was a Datsun 200SX — and I did not know how to drive a stick shift. 3. The thing I love most about being a part of Mrs. Maisel is working with some of the most talented people out there. And zero drama! 4. My advice for aspiring actors is find something else that you love, and then do that. 5. My mother and grandmother are two of the biggest badasses I've ever known. 6. I am a carrier of hemophilia. My mother, brother, daughter and I all have bleeding disorders. 7. My favorite subject in school was lunch. Crappy microwave burritos were at the top of the list. 8. March is Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month and I'll be shouting about awareness, diagnoses and care from the rooftops. 9. I'm also a longtime supporter of the National Hemophilia Foundation. 10. When I'm stressed, I find that a nice combination of food, sex and a hot bath can always relax me. 11. I went to Hollywood High School and we used to leave at lunch to see actors get their handprints at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. 12. Something I'm loving about 2022 is writing the year in roman numerals on all my checks: MMXXII. (Yes, I still use checks.) 13. My last "treat myself" purchase was a fabulous coat from Lydia Delgado in Barcelona. 14. One of my go-to karaoke songs is Tina Turner's "Private Dancer." 15. I'm beyond excited to see the new season of Peaky Blinders. Those Shelby boys … 16. A book I've been meaning to read is The Rewind Files by Claire Willett. 17. Before acting, I worked as a copywriter at a small advertising agency. Barbie doll was one of my clients. 18. My favorite food group is Nutella. 19. I love escape rooms. 20. I got starstruck when I met Alan Arkin. 21. My pet peeve is pet poop. Pick up your dog **s–t, people! 22. I love ice cream on the coldest winter day. Two scoops if it's snowing. 23. An actor I really admire is Frances McDormand. She is just phenomenal. 24. I love to wander on the weekends. Trips to upstate New York when I'm on the East Coast, jaunts to the ocean or mountains when I'm in L.A. Sometimes it's even just a long, long local walk. 25. I'm happiest when I'm with my kids. (Until I'm with them, then they make me slightly insane, and I need to get away for a few days, and then I miss them like crazy. Ah, motherhood!) Season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. |

'Game of Thrones' Alum John Stahl Dies at 68 Posted: 05 Mar 2022 12:30 PM PST Always in our hearts. Hollywood mourned the loss of icons such as Betty White and John Madden in the final days of 2021 — and unfortunately, 2022 also came with celebrity deaths that have fans reeling. The sports world lost a football great in Dan Reeves who passed away on January 1. The 77-year-old Georgia native appeared in nine Super Bowls during his career — winning once as a player and once as an assistant coach. As one of the winningest coaches in the league's history, his loss was felt near and far. My heart goes out to Pam and the entire Reeves family." One day later, the Christian music industry lost a beloved musician Jay Weaver. His former Big Daddy Weave bandmate and brother, Mike Weaver, confirmed his passing following COVID-19 complications. Jay was 42. "Thank you so much for all your prayers for my brother," Mike said in a statement on January 2, after Jay was hospitalized with the virus a few days prior. "You have walked with him through a huge fight, and I'm so sorry to bring this news but I'm also excited to celebrate where he is right now. My brother Jay went to be with Jesus just a couple hours ago due to complications due to COVID-19 on top of everything else that he already had going on." He continued: “The Lord used [Jay] in such a might way out on the road for so many years … I believe even though COVID may have taken his last breath, Jesus was right there to catch him. My heart’s broke for my family, but we all just really wanted to thank you for walking with us through so much for so long.” On January 5, the Korean film world mourned the death of a young star in Kim Mi-soo, who passed away at age 29. "Kim suddenly left us on January 5," the late performer's agency, Landscape Entertainment, said in a statement translated by the publication Korea JoongAng Daily. Teen Mom's Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge's Relationship Timeline Posted: 05 Mar 2022 10:35 AM PST Quite a relationship. Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge have had an up and down romance from the moment they’ve met, but have come a very long way through it all. In 2018, The Challenge alum revealed to Us Weekly that before heading on Ex on the Beach (where he met Selfridge), he was worried about getting into a serious relationship. "I'm scared of the word love. Let's be careful when we say that about this show! Love is a strong word, right? We want to find that next step in our lives. That's love for some people, that's just dating for others," he told Us. "I want somebody to be able to be almost like a best friend and for me to start living my life with, but love … be careful now. I'm not going as far to say love.” However, that’s seemingly what happened on the show, despite both Selfridge and Wharton’s exes showing up to cause some drama. The real drama began when he returned home from filming when he found out that his ex Cheyenne Floyd had a baby six months prior — and he was the father. The duo, who briefly dated and appeared on The Challenge: Rivals II in 2016, later revealed they hooked up one time while filming the reunion. Wharton knew she was pregnant but didn’t know if he was the father until the baby was 6 months old. "Once I found out I had a kid, my whole life changed. It's a feeling inside of yourself that there's a bigger purpose," Wharton told Us in December 2017. "Now I'm doing everything for my daughter, instead of for myself. I had to put somebody before myself for the first time. I feel like I've got my power pack, like I'm untouchable with my kid. I have her and that's all the love I need in the world. It gave me a sense of purpose. I never thought I could love anybody more than myself and I do!" So, how did Selfridge fit into the situation? Although she and Floyd were never close, once Wharton and Selfridge got back together, they all became a family — something that’s now shown on Teen Mom OG. They grew even closer when the Are You the One? vet found out that she was expecting her first child with Wharton. Their daughter, Mila, arrived in April 2020. "We both understand that there has to be mutual respect for each other and her and I are cordial," Selfridge told Us in April 2109. Scroll through the gallery below for a full timeline of Selfridge and Wharton’s relationship. ![]() In November 2017, Wharton and Selfridge met while filming the U.S. version of Ex on the Beach, which aired in April 2018. Courtesy Cory Wharton/Instagram ![]() In April, Wharton shared with Us that the "hardest part" about coparenting with Floyd was dating. "It’s about not only bringing someone into Ryder’s life, but I’m also bringing that person into Cheyenne’s life," he told Us, adding that he and Selfridge are in a "serious" relationship. Courtesy Taylor Selfridge/Instagram ![]() Us Weekly broke the news that the pair were pregnant in October 2019. "It was definitely a surprise," he said at the time. "It’s exciting for me. It’s gonna be a lot, but I’m excited. I never went to an ultrasound [with Ryder], you know? I never went to the doctor’s appointments to see her check-ups and things like that. So for me, this is like my first baby almost, as weird as that sounds." Megan Thompson for MTV ![]() The pair revealed they were expecting a girl during their gender reveal party in January 2020. "I’m two for two with girls and it feels good,” he said. “This whole process is new to me. I never got to enjoy this process with my first kid, but now that I have a girl, another girl, I get to be a part of it from the beginning!" MTV ![]() Wharton and Selfridge welcomed their first baby on April 22, 2020. "Hi. Daddy loves you so much," he said on his Instagram Story while looking down at his newborn daughter. MTV ![]() MTV cut ties with Selfridge in June 2020 “in light of her past racist” tweets. The network also canceled her and Wharton’s planned baby special. She later claimed that she was the one who “made the decision … to not film the next season of Teen Mom OG with Cory for the benefit of myself and my daughter.” YouTube ![]() The twosome announced that they are expecting their second child together that June. "Taylor, I don’t know too many people to put up with me for as long as you have 😂 but no seriously, I love you bby & I can’t wait to start this adventure with you and continue to build this family up,” Wharton wrote, in part, via Instagram at the time. It's Over! Danica Patrick and Carter Comstock Split After Nearly 1 Year Together Posted: 05 Mar 2022 08:56 AM PST ![]() It's over. After nearly one year of dating, Danica Patrick and Carter Comstock have called it quits. "We were together for a while, and unfortunately it didn’t work, but it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a really fun time and we didn’t do a lot of really amazing things," the former NASCAR racer, 39, told People on Friday, March 4. "It doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with either of us. It's just a matter of finding someone who you can stand the test of time with." The Wisconsin native told the outlet that Comstock, 33, is a "really amazing guy" and "super sweet," revealing that they split several months ago. ![]() Patrick and the Freshly cofounder debuted their romance via Instagram in April 2021 after bonding over shared interests. "We both love to travel and we're both super open-minded, and I had this sort of grand vision for finding someone I could just sit on the couch with and, like, have a glass of wine and just literally come up with any topic at all, simple or complicated," she told Rachel Lindsay during an appearance on Extra at the time. "Just go, 'Let's talk about a tree' and just go for two hours on the nature of a tree… I just always imagined how great it would be to find someone to sit on the couch and talk with for hours, and that's just what we do." A source previously told Us Weekly that the twosome were "set up" by the cofounders of Beam, a wellness brand that both Patrick and Comstock invested in. "They took their relationship slow for four months and decided to be exclusive in April," the insider added in April 2021. "She's very happy." The Somnium Wine entrepreneur was previously married to Paul Edward Hospenthal from 2005 to 2013 before dating NASCAR's Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Aaron Rodgers. "[It's about] finding someone that has that kind of quality … and that also fits you in so many ways," the "Pretty Intense" podcast host exclusively opened up to Us in September 2021, noting relationships are "not easy" and take a lot of work. "That's the other part is, you know, you've got to like doing everything together." She told Us that "knowing yourself" helps make communication with a partner easier, adding, "It's more indicative of the work that this person has done before you ever met them. You know, the idea that you're going to change someone is a pipe dream. Like, it's just … someone has to want to change for themselves." |
Danica Patrick’s Dating History Through the Years Posted: 05 Mar 2022 08:55 AM PST On your mark, get set to look back at Danica Patrick's dating history. The former NASCAR racer has never shied away from talking about her love life and all its complications. "I think we learn the most about ourselves through relationships," she explained during a 2021 guest appearance on Running Wild With Bear Grylls. "But there's nothing like heartbreak to really throw you in the deep end of that." The Wisconsin native has had her heart broken more than a few times over her lifetime, but she's never given up on love. Instead, she's taken a live and learn approach to her relationships. "You know, the idea that you're going to change someone is a pipe dream," she told Us Weekly exclusively in September 2021. "Like, it's just … someone has to want to change for themselves." While she admitted to Us that "relationships are not easy," her enlightened outlook on love comes from "knowing herself" better and also understanding what she wants in a partner. "It's not necessarily that they have their work cut out for him but that they're going to be an extremely high-quality person with a lot of boxes to check," she told Tamron Hall in March 2021. "It's not as though there are boxes to check, it's just that I know what I want now and I'm not willing to compromise [or] bend as much." The "Pretty Intense" podcast host wants a partner who is "someone [who] has done the work and continues to do it," she told Us, adding, "[It's about] finding someone that has that kind of quality … and that also fits you in so many ways. That's the other part, you've got to like doing everything together." Looking back at Patrick's dating history, it's clear she likes a sporty guy who can keep up with her. No easy task, since the only woman to win an IndyCar Series race doesn't like to lose. "I think that my competitive nature makes me want to do well, but I don't think anyone has put any kind of, you know, goal on my shoulders that I need to do," she said while speaking about training for the 2021 Boston Marathon. With all the lessons she's learned about love, Patrick wouldn't mind getting married again. "I mean, I love love," she told Us, joking, "If anyone wants to invite me to a wedding, I'll go because I love weddings. They're the best events ever." Danica Patrick and Carter Comstock's Relationship Timeline Posted: 05 Mar 2022 08:50 AM PST Has Danica Patrick found The One? The former race car driver has been candid about the ups and downs in her love life before finding boyfriend Carter Comstock. Patrick was married to Paul Hospenthal from 2005 to 2013. She wrote in her divorce documents that their seven-year marriage was "irretrievably broken." She announced the news to fans via Facebook at the time. “I am sad to inform my fans that after seven years, Paul and I have decided amicably end our marriage. This isn’t easy for either of us, but mutually it has come to this," the athlete wrote in November 2012. "I said this at the beginning of the last relationship, I was like, 'Look, you either grow together, one grows and one doesn't or you grow apart.' I have never experienced growth without pain," Patrick said on The Rachel Hollis Show in September 2020. "The next guy has his work cut out for him because my intuition, my standards, my boundaries, my wants and needs are off the charts. Because I've gotten to know me so much more so it's going to be so much more narrow and specific." Months later, Patrick opened up about feeling broken after the relationship ended. Love Is Blind’s Kyle and Deepti Fuel Dating Rumors After Reunion Revelations Posted: 05 Mar 2022 08:05 AM PST ![]() Are they or aren't they? After fans watched Kyle Abrams and Deepti Vempati end up single following dramatic Love Is Blind season 2 relationships, the duo are now fueling romance speculation. Kyle, 29, shared a TikTok video on Friday, March 4, as he sat in front of the camera in silence. The glazier eventually panned the camera to reveal Deepti, 31, standing in the corner of the room and wearing a matching white shirt. While the Netflix personalities have not further addressed the video or their relationship status, the TikTok collaboration comes hours after the Love Is Blind season 2 reunion dropped, in which Kyle admitted his feelings.
“I have a huge regret. Biggest regret is I should have asked Deepti to marry me,” Kyle revealed during the reunion, which began streaming on Friday. "That’s what I learned the most. I f—ked up. I should have tried harder for you. I love her so much, she’s the best. And I wish I saw what was right in front of me and that’s my biggest regret. I’m sorry. … Yeah, and it pisses me off because [Shake] wasted such a good opportunity." The information data analyst previously accepted a proposal from Abhishek "Shake" Chatterjee sight-unseen in the pods before calling off the engagement on the wedding day finale. The veterinarian, for his part, raised eyebrows throughout the experiment after repeatedly admitting he did not find his then-partner physically attractive. "There's a lot of things that he said that he didn't say to my face and [things] I've heard from other cast members," Deepti exclusively told Us Weekly in February ahead of the finale. "I just don't have room for anybody in my life that doesn't see me in the best way. And who could even think those types of thoughts, I guess. I knew what I had to do [on our wedding day]. No one should have doubts about me and I deserve the best. So it's, like, if you're not gonna be able to offer it for me, then there's no chance I'm staying." Kyle, for his part, proposed to fellow contestant Shaina Hurley. However, after conflicting views on religion, he and the 32-year-old hairstylist eventually went their separate ways. (Kyle is an atheist while Shaina is a devout Christian.) "I thought I was giving in a lot. Those are things that [with] normal dating, I would've written her off right away," Kyle told Us last month. "The first time I gave in. So I thought maybe she would — she should — too. I thought it was a mutual thing, but I guess not. I didn't wanna quit. I wanted to give everything I had.“ He continued: "I didn't want any regrets of just ending it to end it. And plus, I was following through with the process, you know, that's kind of what they told us in the beginning — 'Don't quit too early, use your allotted time, you have this time to figure it all out.' And I did everything I could do." Kyle admitted to Us that he doesn't "really talk" to his former fiancée, revealing "that ship has sailed." Shaina, for her part, revealed earlier this month that she is happily dating a new man since the show concluded. Love Is Blind season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.

It's Over! See Which Celebrity Couples Have Split in 2022 Posted: 05 Mar 2022 07:20 AM PST Calling it quits. It happens all the time, but the world never gets used to seeing celebrity couples break up. Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard were among the stars who made headlines for their splits in 2022. Us Weekly exclusively revealed in January that the model and the NFL star were "getting divorced," though they were "going to try and remain civil and friendly towards each other." Divorce documents obtained by Us claimed that the pair were having marital issues as far back as December 2020. "The parties have experienced irreconcilable differences [and the] differences have caused a break down in the marital relationship," the papers, which were filed in June 2021, read. "Said irreconcilable differences have existed for at least six months prior to the filing [of] this Complaint and there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation." After Iman and Shepard welcomed daughter Cali in August 2018, he got real about balancing their parenting responsibilities and their relationship. (The duo also share daughter Cassie, whom they welcomed in December 2019.) "It's honestly tough whenever you put a baby into the situation because you've got to still try to find time for each other and a lot of the focus goes onto the baby," he told Us in August 2019. "So that's the main thing is just me trying to carve out a little time in my schedule and her trying to carve out time in her schedule because we're both pretty busy. That's the toughest thing about it, but we find a way to get through it." Another split that made news in 2022 was Joe and Bessy Gatto's, though they technically announced it in December 2021. The comedian revealed the separation in an Instagram post that also explained his exit from Impractical Jokers. "Alongside my friends, I've devoted a decade of my life to building this franchise and couldn't be prouder of what has been accomplished," he wrote on New Year’s Eve in 2021. "However, due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away. Bessy and I have decided to amicably part ways, so now I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids." Bessy, for her part, addressed the breakup in her own Instagram post. "With love and respect, we have decided to separate. Although we will no longer be a couple, we will always be a family to our beautiful kids and we look forward to co-parenting together," she noted. "We ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate this new chapter together. And of course we will still continue to help animals and rescue dogs, which is something we are both passionate about!" Million Dollar Listing’s Josh, Bobby Split After 5 Years of Marriage Posted: 05 Mar 2022 07:18 AM PST ![]() Going their separate ways. After five years of marriage, Josh Flagg and Bobby Boyd have called it quits. "Bobby and I are divorcing — This might sound abrupt but I felt I should be transparent from the top rather than bury the headline," the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star, 36, wrote via Instagram on Friday, March 4. "This was not a rash or impulsive decision. We have been very thoughtful before coming to this conclusion." Flagg continued in his post: "It was not a lack of love but rather the two of us growing in different directions and wanting very different things for ourselves. I care deeply about Bobby and have nothing but love and respect for him. I want how we separate from each other to represent that. Thanks to all for your unwavering support." Several of the California native’s fellow Bravo personalities offered their support via Instagram comment, including Matt Altman, Heather Bilyeau Altman and Crystal Kung Minkoff. Boyd, 36, also issued a statement about the nature of the twosome's relationship and what led to their split. ![]() "The last 6 years of my life I wouldn’t change for the world,” the former model captioned his Friday Instagram upload. "6 years ago, I met and fell in love with my best friend. From the first date, we were inseparable and took off at lightning speed. Josh and I had a whirlwind of a love story that I will forever be grateful for. We have both taught each other so much and have learned so much about ourselves throughout our relationship. As the news has come out, it may seem sudden to most of you, but Josh and I have been spending the last couple of months figuring this out together." He added at the time: "Unfortunately, as we have learned, sometimes love isn’t enough. We have found that we want different things for our lives and our paths look very different now. I love Josh with all of my heart and will always respect and admire him. I’m forever grateful to him for showing me that true love does exist. … This may be the end of our romantic relationship, but I’ll always consider him part of my family.” The real estate broker and Boyd tied the knot in September 2017 after one year of dating. (The pair had known one another for 10 years before their bond turned romantic.) “When you know, you know, and when you just feel it’s right, you feel it’s right. The first date we had, real date, I knew that I wanted to marry him,” Flagg previously told Bravo's The Daily Dish in November 2016. “My parents were engaged at three months and are married for 34-plus years, so it does happen sometimes. Some people get engaged and wait and get married three, five years later, then get divorced the next day. So with him, I knew he was the one for me. And so I wanted to get engaged." |
