The 44-year-old confirmed his decision on Sunday, March 13. “These past two months I've realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” he wrote via Twitter. “That time will come. But it's not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I'm coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”

The quarterback will return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2022 to 2023 football season.

“I have always believed the sport of football is an 'all-in' proposition — if a 100% competitive commitment isn't there, you won't succeed, and success is what I love so much about our game. There is physical, mental and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life. This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes, I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore," he shared at the time via Instagram. "I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention."

He continued, adding that after “a lot of reflecting,” he believed hanging up his cleats was the best decision. "My teammates, coaches, fellow competitors, and fans deserve 100% of me, but right now, it's best I leave the field of play to the next generation of dedicated and committed athletes,” he wrote.

Brady emphasized his wife’s sacrifices, calling her an “inspiration” to him. “I always came off the field and home to the most loving and supportive wife who has done EVERYTHING for our family to allow me to focus on my career,” he wrote to Bündchen, 41, in his retirement announcement. “Her selflessness allowed me to reach new heights professionally, and I am beyond words what you mean to me and our family."

A red carpet debut! Millie Bobby Brown made her first awards show appearance with boyfriend Jake Bongiovi at the 2022 BAFTAs on Sunday, March 13.

The Stranger Things star, 18, wore a custom Louis Vuitton dress to the London event, which is also called the 2022 EE British Academy Film Awards. The black velvet gown featured a lace bandeau under the plunging neckline as well as a dramatic black lace train. She accessorized with black gloves and a silver necklace.

However, it was who she was with that grabbed everyone’s attention. Brown brought Bongiovi, 19, who wore a Fendi suit with a lapel pin baring the Ukraine flag to show support for the country amid the Russian invasion. The son of Jon Bon Jovi and Dorthea Hurley accompanied the Enola Holmes actress down the red carpet at Royal Albert Hall.

Brown — who presented a BAFTA with Florence Pugh for best supporting actor to Coda star Troy Kotsur — lent her boyfriend her glam squad for the night. Stylist Michelle Kelly dressed the couple, and Buster Knight was responsible for makeup.

Their hair was styled by Peter Burkill and Lisa Jones, who called the pair their “favorite couple” via Instagram. The duo both had their hair parted in the middle. While Bongiovi’s bleached locks fell in his face, Brown had her dark tresses sleekly pulled into an up ‘do.

The actress and the son of rock royalty have been rumored to be dating for months. Bongiovi, whose full name is Jacob Hurley Bongiovi, and Brown have been all over each other’s social media.

The twosome were first linked in June 2021 when Bongiovi called Brown his "Bff <3" via an Instagram caption of a. "BFF 🦄," the England native replied in the comments of the photo, which showed them smiling in a car together.

In November, many speculated that the pair went Instagram official when the Florence by Mills creator shared a sweet snap of the two looking cozy on the London Eye. The New Jersey native, meanwhile, posted a photo with Brown at a café. "We're starting a band[,] send name ideas," he captioned the tableside selfie at the time.

The social media pics continued throughout the winter with the couple celebrating the holidays together and dressing up as Barbie and Ken for Brown’s 18th birthday party.

“Happy birthday barbie ily <3,” Bongiovi captioned one snap. “Endless love,” Brown replied.

Always in our hearts. Hollywood mourned the loss of icons such as Betty White and John Madden in the final days of 2021 — and unfortunately, 2022 also came with celebrity deaths that have fans reeling.

The sports world lost a football great in Dan Reeves who passed away on January 1. The 77-year-old Georgia native appeared in nine Super Bowls during his career — winning once as a player and once as an assistant coach.

As one of the winningest coaches in the league's history, his loss was felt near and far. "The football world lost a heckuva coach and man today in Dan Reeves," former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway said in a statement on January 1. "Dan was a winner and I owe a lot to him. My heart goes out to Pam and the entire Reeves family."

One day later, the Christian music industry lost a beloved musician Jay Weaver. His former Big Daddy Weave bandmate and brother, Mike Weaver, confirmed his passing following COVID-19 complications. Jay was 42.

"Thank you so much for all your prayers for my brother," Mike said in a statement on January 2, after Jay was hospitalized with the virus a few days prior. "You have walked with him through a huge fight, and I'm so sorry to bring this news but I'm also excited to celebrate where he is right now. My brother Jay went to be with Jesus just a couple hours ago due to complications due to COVID-19 on top of everything else that he already had going on."

He continued: “The Lord used [Jay] in such a might way out on the road for so many years … I believe even though COVID may have taken his last breath, Jesus was right there to catch him. My heart’s broke for my family, but we all just really wanted to thank you for walking with us through so much for so long.”

On January 5, the Korean film world mourned the death of a young star in Kim Mi-soo, who passed away at age 29.

"Kim suddenly left us on January 5," the late performer's agency, Landscape Entertainment, said in a statement translated by the publication Korea JoongAng Daily. "The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness. Please refrain from reporting false rumors or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace."

Everything to Know About Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Divorce

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 03:00 PM PDT

One year after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, things have taken a messy turn.

Us Weekly exclusively revealed during summer 2020 that there was trouble in paradise for the duo, who wed in 2014. While sources told Us that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum was weighing her options as the rapper made headlines for controversial comments amid his equally as controversial presidential campaign, she didn't take legal action until February 2021.

"Kim and Kanye haven't been on the same page for a while now," a source told Us at the time. "Kanye isn't as focused and doesn't live in the real world. Their world views no longer line up. Kim is done dealing with Kanye's unpredictable behavior, she has tried to get him into treatment for his mental health and all attempts have been unsuccessful. No one can tell Kanye what to do other than Kanye."

Kardashian and West share four children: North (born June 2013), Saint (December 2015), Chicago (January 2018) and Psalm (May 2019). She broke her silence on their split during the final season of the family's E! show.

"I just honestly can't do this anymore. Why am I still in this place where I'm stuck for years? Like, he goes and moves to a different state every year," Kardashian said. "I have to be, like, together so I can raise the kids. He's an amazing dad, he's done an amazing job. … He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything, and I can't. I feel like a f–king failure. It's my third f–king marriage. Yeah, I feel like a f–king loser. But I can't even think about that. I want to be happy."

As the show aired in 2021, a source told Us that the Selfish author struggled with reliving the drama.

"Kim worked so hard and did everything in her power to make the marriage work and seeing it now brings up a lot of pain," the insider said in June 2021. "Kim really worries for her kids and that she couldn't give them a traditional family home. That's where most of the pain is coming from."

Things became even more tense for the pair when West began making public pleas to win Kardashian back. His fall 2021 proclamations of love turned into a series of allegations about his ex keeping the kids from him by early 2022.

"He likes being in control and having that power," a source told Us in February 2022 of the Grammy winner's decision to air out their dirty laundry via Instagram. "He didn't choose divorce and isn't liking that Kim is basically 'winning' so far when it comes to the kids [and] the home."

Kardashian, for her part, took to Instagram Stories at the time, writing in part: "Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye's obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all."

Scroll through for a breakdown of the allegations in Kimye's divorce:

The Pete Davidson Factor
During her Saturday Night Live hosting gig in October 2021, Kardashian joked about her divorce. “I’ve been very blessed in this life, and I’m grateful for everything, honestly, all the ups, all the downs. I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids,” she said in her monologue. “So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine.” While a source told Us at the time that West was aware of the jokes Kardashian would be making, he later slammed the remark. “SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off, and I never have seen the papers. We’re not even divorced,” he said on Revolt’s “Drink Champs” podcast in November 2021. “So how we — because [it’s] no joke to me, my kids want their parents to stay together. I want their parents — I want us to be together.” Kardashian’s SNL appearance also sparked her post-split relationship with Pete Davidson. The duo have been romantically linked since October 2021, weeks after they kissed during a skit. “How you gonna bring me to SNL and then kiss the dude you dating right in front of me?” West said in January 2022 interview. That same month, he dissed the comedian in a song titled “My Life Was Never Eazy,” rapping, “God saved me from the crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.” Kristina Bumphrey/StarPix/Shutterstock
Kanye's Lack of Legal Action
Nearly one year after taking legal action to end her marriage, Kardashian filed paperwork requesting to be declared legally single and have her maiden name restored in December 2021. “The parties’ marriage has irremediably broken down. [Kardashian] no longer desires to be married to [West],” the legal docs stated. “There is no question that the marriage of the parties is no longer viable. [Kardashian] has no desire to reconcile with [West] and wants their marriage terminated. Irreconcilable differences have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage through counseling or other means.” Kardashian called out West’s lack of responsiveness amid the legal case in February 2022. “I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably,” she wrote via Instagram. Matt Baron/Shutterstock
North’s TikTok
Kardashian created a joint TikTok account with their eldest daughter in November 2021 after North (and several of her cousins) got caught on the app without parental guidance. After mentioning in a January 2022 interview that he didn’t want his daughter on social media, West made it clear in February 2022 that he wasn’t happy with the idea, writing via Instagram: “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?” He also shared a screenshot of the guidelines that TikTok users must be 13 years of age to be on the app.   Kardashian clapped back at the time, writing, “Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create. … I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness.” Courtesy of Kim Kardashian/Instagram
The Primary Caretaker
In her February 2022 statement, Kardashian referred to herself as “the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children,” a comment that West took issue with. “What do you mean by main provider ?” he asked in his reply. Mehdi Taamallah/NurPhoto/Shutterstock
The Custody Questions
As of April 2021, Kardashian and West are both seeking joint custody of their four kids. He made headlines in December 2021 when he bought a home across the street from Kardashian. ”Nothing with my career, with this rap, with this media, with none of that [is] gonna keep me from my children,” he explained on Hollywood Unlocked at the time. "And that’s what I want everybody to know: Don’t play with me, don’t play with my children, ain’t no security gonna get in between me and my children and you ain’t finna gaslight me." In February 2022, West claimed that Kardashian was preventing him from taking the kids to Chicago. “I WANT TO BRING MY KIDS TO MY HOME TOWN OF CHICAGO TO SEE MY BASKETBALL TEAM PLAY FOR 7 THOUSAND PEOPLE,” he wrote via Instagram. “AND KIM IS STOPPING THAT. HOW IS THIS JOINT CUSTODY?" Gregory Pace/Shutterstock
Chicago's Birthday Party
The family made headlines in January 2022 when West alleged that he wasn’t invited to Chicago’s 4th birthday party. “I’m being the best father — the Ye version of a father — and I’m not finna let this happen. … Chicago, Happy birthday. I love you and I’m just putting this online because I need y’all’s support,” he said via Instagram at the time. “I did call Kim, texted nannies. I got on the phone with Tristan [Thompson, Khloé Kardashian’s ex], he asked Khloé [and] won’t nobody give me the address to my daughter’s birthday party right now. That’s gonna imprint in her mind that I wasn’t there for her.” Shortly after his remarks, the musician was spotted at the birthday bash in social media footage. He later claimed that Kylie Jenner’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Travis Scott, gave him the information about the party’s location. After the event, he released another video about how “happy” he was, saying at the time: “Everyone just had a great time. I’m just really happy that I could be there for my children. I just want to thank everybody’s support in this situation [and] let me just calmly and legally take control of my narrative.” Meanwhile, a source told Us at the time that Kim was “shocked to learn that he released a video about not being invited to her party — that’s not true and as soon as he asked to come he was given the location. He’s at the birthday party.” Chicago’s milestone was brought up by West again in one of his February 2022 statements, in which he wrote: “America saw you try to kid nap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address." Kanye’s Claims Drug Tests
“You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing,” West alleged of Kardashian in February 2022. “I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs.” One day later, he made more allegations: “YESTERDAY KIM ACCUSED ME OF PUTTING A HIT OUT ON HER. SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT I BEG TO GO TO MY DAUGHTERS PARTY AND IM ACCUSED OF BEING ON DRUGS THEN I GO PLAY WITH MY SON AND I TAKE MY AKIRA GRAPHIC NOVELS AND IM ACCUSED OF STEALING.” Kardashian has yet to respond to West’s various claims about drugs and theft, which have since been deleted. Kim Being 'Manipulated'
West has previously hinted that Kardashian’s inner circle “influence” her. He then name-dropped the chief marketing officer at KKW Brands in one of his February 2022 statements, writing, “Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way…” Romulus, who has known Kardashian since 2006 and worked with West as a publicist for Yeezy in the past, has yet to publicly comment on the drama. West also called out Kardashian’s cousin, sharing their text messages amid his public complaints about North’s TikTok in February 2022. “THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF KIM’S COUSIN AGREEING WITH ME ABOUT TIK TOK THEN PROCEEDING TO ASK ME FOR SOME YEEZYS AFTERWARDS HER OTHER COUSIN KARA CALLED ME SAYING SHE AGREED WITH ME THEN SAID SHE WOULD SPEAK OUT PUBLICLY WHICH SHE NEVER DID THEN SHE SUGGESTED I TAKE MEDICATION…” he wrote via Instagram. Kanye Causing ‘Emotional Distress’
Kardashian submitted another set of divorce documents in February 2022, asking once again to be declared legally single in the hopes that it would help West "accept that our marital relationship is over." In the filing, she claimed that her estranged husband had gone against her wishes to keep their split private and alleged that his social media posts were causing "emotional distress." Kardashian also addressed West's since-deleted Instagram uploads, claiming that "Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and coparenting" online.  Later in the documents, the reality star's legal team suggested that West's goal was "to prevent or make it difficult for Ms. Kardashian to remarry" in the future. Kim’s ‘Double Hearsay’
Kanye's lawyer called for Kardashian's quote about "misinformation" to be stricken from the record in February 2022, one day after her filing with the statement. The objection called her response "double hearsay" because the social media posts she referenced were not submitted as evidence. Kardashian will have to officially submit West's social media posts if she wants her comments about "misinformation" to stay on the record. She'll also have to prove they were written by her estranged husband. Shutterstock (2)

Coparenting Conflict
In a series of since-deleted March 2022 Instagram videos, West claimed he didn't get a fair say in how his children were being raised. He took issue with North being on TikTok, especially with her singing the song "Emo Girl" by Machine Gun Kelly and Willow Smith. “I just got off the phone with Kim,” the Yeezy designer told followers in a clip. “I told her to stop antagonizing me with this TikTok thing. I said, ‘It’s never again.’ I am her father. I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family and the media tries to promote something. I said, I am not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, by Disney. I have a say-so.” He added that he didn't get to choose his children's school other. “When people say, ‘they’re gonna use this [against] you in court,’ I didn’t even have a say-so whether or not they went to Sierra Canyon,” West alleged, referencing the name of his kids' elementary school. “Most men do not — there’s no such thing has 50-50 custody in society today. It always leans toward the mom.” In another video that day, he claimed, “I don’t have custody, I had to fight to have my kids not on TikTok. It’s always been a gang. It’s like we’ve never had Christmas anyplace else other than one location." Shutterstock (2)

Pete Davidson Allegedly Threatens to 'Stop Being Nice' to Kanye West

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 02:55 PM PDT

Continuing the feud. As Kim Kardashian's romance with Pete Davidson has continued to heat up, her estranged husband, Kanye West, has attacked his ex's new man on social media and in song.

The Yeezy designer made headlines in February 2022, claiming his Donda 2 partnership with Kid Cudi had been terminated over the Ohio native's friendship with the Saturday Night Live star.

"Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he's friends with you know who," West wrote on lined paper, which he then shared via Instagram in a now-deleted post. "We all speak in Billie [Eilish] language now."

Cudi, for his part, replied: "Too bad I don't wanna be on ur album u f—in dinosaur hahaha. Everyone knows I've been the best thing about ur albums since I met u. Ima pray for u brother."

West later doubled down on the pair's beef when he shared a series of lengthy Instagram disses one day later, even alleging that Davidson — who began dating the Skims mogul in late 2021 — is unable to meet his four children with Kardashian: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

"NO YOU WILL NEVER MEET MY CHILDREN," the Illinois native wrote via Instagram one day after his post slamming Kid Cudi, sharing what appeared to be a text message exchange with the Guy Code alum.

Davidson allegedly wrote via text: "As a man, I'd never get [in the] way of your children. That's a promise. How you guys [go about] raising your kids is your [business] and not mine. I do hope [one] day I can meet them and we [can] all be friends."

While neither Davidson nor Kardashian immediately addressed the record producer's claims, West alleged his account had not been "hacked" nor did anyone else post the recent allegations on his feed.

"MY ACCOUNT IS NOT HACKED," West wrote via Instagram shortly after sharing the text message screenshot, alongside a snap of himself holding up a piece of paper with the date. "I WILL BE AT SUNDAY SERVICE AT NOON AND WILL [be] TAKING NORTH AND SAINT TO THE SUPERBOWL SHORTLY AFTER. [Michael Che] I'LL DOUBLE WHATEVER THEY PAYING YOU JUST SO YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT PAWN EVER AGAIN BIG LOVE."

The Big Time Adolescence star and the Selfish author were first linked in October 2021, weeks after connecting on the set of SNL.

"Kim and Pete are getting serious. Things have definitely escalated quickly but in a healthy, fun way," an insider exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2021. "Right now, they are just enjoying their time together and seeing where things go."

Ahead of Kardashian's new romance, she filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage. Though she’s moved on, Kardashian hoped the pair could amicably coparent their four children, even referring to herself as West's "biggest cheerleader" in Vogue's March 2022 cover story.

"You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be 'Your dad's the best.' … No matter what you're personally going through," the KKW Beauty entrepreneur said at the time. "For so long, I did what made other people happy and I think in the last two years I decided, I'm going to make myself happy. And that feels really good. … I think it's important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I've chosen myself. I think it's OK to choose you."

The "Heartless" performer — who has since been linked to Julia Fox — has continued to allege that he wanted his family back together.

“LOOK AT THIS D—KHEAD I WONDER IF INSTAGRAM GONNA SHUT DOWN MY PAGE FOR DISSING HILARY CLINTON’S EX BOYFRIEND,” West shared a cropped photo of Davidson and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum via Instagram in February 2022, referencing Davidson’s throwback tattoo of Hillary Clinton. 'Selling a Narrative'
The Grammy winner photoshopped the Venom movie poster with his and Davidson’s faces, including a subtle diss at the comedian’s friend, Machine Gun Kelly. “THIS AINT ABOUT SKETE PEOPLE IT’S ABOUT SELLING YALL A NARRATIVE SKETE JUST PLAYING HIS PART IN FROZEN 3 ACCEPT ITS NOT IN THE THEATERS THIS TIME,” West wrote via Instagram. “ITS ON DAILY MAIL [sic] TELL BOB [Chapek, the head of Disney] AND THE ENTIRE DISNEY STAFF YOU WAISTED YOUR MONEY ON STARWARS AND MARVEL BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH IT MAKES MONEY YOU WILL NEVER CONTROL THE HIGHSCHOOLS NO ONES EVER HEARD A MACHINE GUN KELLY SONG BOB.” Shutterstock (2)

A Trending Topic
After realizing his name was trending higher than the big game on Super Bowl Sunday, West shared another dig at Davidson in February 2022. "HOLD YOUR SPOUSE CLOSE MAKE SURE THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE AND APPRECIATE THEM BECAUSE THERES A SKETE LURKING IN EVERY DIRTY ASS ALLEY WAITING TO HELP DESTROY YOUR FAMILY AND WALK AROUND IN CALVIN KLEINS AROUND YOUR CHILDREN," he wrote in part. He continued, adding, "I WISH MY WIFE WAS WITH ME AND OUR CHILDREN SITTING AT THE 50 YARD LINE @kimkardashian ALWAYS REMEMBER WEST WAS YOUR BIGGEST W." His Message to Pete
After thanking fans for their support in February 2022, West revealed he had a new request for his followers, writing, “IF YOU SEE SKETE IN REAL LIFE SCREAM AT YHE LOOSER AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS AND SAY KIMYE FOREVER 💔.” Shutterstock (3)
Kim Calls for Peace
In February 2022, West shared a text allegedly from Kardashian, which read, "U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault."  The rapper captioned the Instagram post, "UPON MY WIFE'S REQUEST PLEASE NOBODY DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL TO SKETE IM GOING TO HANDLE THE SITUATION MYSELF." He also posted another screenshot of him seemingly responding to his estranged wife, writing, "I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever. And I listened to you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete." Later that night, West shared another screenshot of a text allegedly sent by his ex. "Why can't you keep any of our conversations private???" she asked. West responded, "Because I got a text from my favorite person in the world," adding that he is her "number one fan." He continued, asking, "Why wouldn't I tell everyone!!!!!" Shutterstock (3)
Bragging About Being in Bed With Kim
“The boyfriend texts me, antagonizing me, bragging about being in bed with my wife,” the “Heartless” rapper said in a since-deleted March 2022 Instagram video while praying that the Skims founder, 41, would allow the pair’s four children to attend that morning’s Sunday service. “I fought it publicly for a year and a half. I’ve been dragged how she’s not my wife, she don’t have [my] last name and now he's texting me, bragging about how he’s in bed with my wife and I’m like well, ‘Who’s watching my children?’ if he [is] texting me, bragging about being in bed with my wife.” In alleged text messages shared by Davidson's friend Dave Sirus later that day, West seemingly asked Davidson, "Where are you right now?"  The actor replied, "In bed with your wife," along with a selfie that featured him laying down shirtless. Offering to Talk
Dave Sirus, a Saturday Night Live writer and King of Staten Island co-producer, shared screenshots of several alleged text messages between West and Davidson. "I've decided I'm not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet. Grow the f--k up," Davidson allegedly wrote via text in March 2022. Davidson offered to talk to West in person if the rapper wanted to "stop being a little internet bitch boy and talk," adding, "You don't scare me bro. Your actions are so p---y and embarrassing. It's so sad to see you ruin your legacy on the daily." The Grammy winner told the comedian to come to his Sunday Service to talk, but Davidson refused to meet in the open. "This isn't public dude. I'm not here for pictures and press. Which is obviously all you care about," the screenshots read. "My offer stands." Shutterstock (2)
Trying to Help
The alleged text messages shared by Sirus in March show Davidson encouraging West to seek proper mental health care. "Let me help you man," the texts Davidson seemingly sent read. "I struggle with mental stuff too. It's not an easy journey. You don't have to feel this way anymore. There's no shame in having a little help. You'll be so happy and at peace." The performer claims he stopped Saturday Night Live from mocking West publicly. "You have no idea how nice I've been to you despite your actions towards me. I've stopped SNL from talking about or making fun of you which they've wanted to do for months," he added. "I've stopped stand up comedians from doing bits about you cause I don't want the father of my girls kids to look bad out there." The screenshots continued, "I have your back even though you treat me like shit because I want everything to be smooth. But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months, I'm gonna stop being nice." Shutterstock (2)

Barack Obama Tests Positive for COVID-19: 'Grateful to Be Vaccinated'

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 02:20 PM PDT

The pandemic isn’t over. Just as it did in 2020 and 2021, Hollywood’s A-list continues to be affected by COVID-19 in 2022 — but they largely attribute their fast recoveries to vaccines.

In January, Late Night With Seth Meyers only returned from holiday break for one show before suddenly having to go on hiatus amid the omicron variant’s prevalence.

“The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!),” Seth Meyers wrote via Twitter on January 4. “We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!”

Meyers’ fellow NBC late night host Jimmy Fallon revealed a day prior that he’d recently recovered from COVID-19. The Saturday Night Live alum made it clear that he tested negative before returning to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 3.

“Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid,” he captioned a photo via Instagram of himself masked in a room marked “reserved for testing use.” The room was decorated with an iconic Diff’rent Strokes quote, which Fallon appreciated.

He continued, “I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who work so hard around the clock to get everyone vaxxed. Thank you to NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great job – and also thanks for putting me in the ‘What 'chu talkin' about Willis?’ isolation room when they told me the news.”

In the comments section, Fallon told a fan that he completely recovered, writing, “The positive came back on 12/18. Back at work today and feeling 100%!”

The NBC hosts both advocated for vaccination. As of January, the CDC recommended a booster shot for people over age 16 five months after completing the primary series. Meyers and Fallon each had a booster before testing positive.

Similarly, Whoopi Goldberg also had a breakthrough case amid the highly contagious variant’s spread. Her View cohost Joy Behar announced the news on January 3 and said the Sister Act star was expected to be fully recovered within a week.

“Why am I here instead of Whoopi? Well, Whoopi, unfortunately, tested positive over the break, but she’ll be back probably next week,” Behar explained. “Since she’s vaxxed and boosted, her symptoms have been very, very, mild. But we’re being super cautious here at The View.”

The daytime talk show opted to film remotely for the week in the midst of Goldberg’s positive test.

“They say there’s no place like home for the holidays and that’s exactly where we are this year,” Behar said. “Happy New Year from all of our living rooms. As you can see, we’re back in boxes and doing the show remotely — hopefully for just a week. I’m praying that it’s just a week, but you never know because this omicron thing is all over the place.”

"I am feeling completely normal now and feel very grateful for that. I am vaccinated and boosted which is very much putting me at ease. This is the first time I’ve tested positive since the pandemic.” Cliff Lipson/CBS

"I said to Lily Collins, who is the best, most supportive person on set ever, I was like, ‘If BTS were ever to see this in an alternate universe, I would want to make them as proud as they have made me as a Korean and as an artist.’” Park then gushed that it felt like a total dream when several of the K-pop group’s members reposted her number: “The whole rest of the day, after they posted that, I couldn’t think, I couldn’t talk, I couldn’t get up. And I was like, is this what your body feels like when you go into shock? My sinuses, my head… I’ve never had this experience before. I’ve never been a fangirl to this extent. Sadie Robertson
“Tbh the start to this year has been quite interesting,” the Duck Dynasty alum captioned a January 7 Instagram post. “It started off by me getting FLURONA (flu + covid) (yikes) so obviously I was so bummed to miss passion but I was so thankful that God gave me the strength to still preach my message to an empty room despite being so sick. My faith from that experience grew so much 🤯 His spirit is truly living within us!” In addition to her flurona diagnosis, Robertson found her home had a rat infestation, noting, “It’s disgusting🙃 and we are exhausted from getting over sickness and being out of our home.” Donn Jones/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

“I share a lot on social media but this is one thing I didn’t want to share,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum wrote via Instagram on January 7. “But, at this point, people are getting frustrated not getting responses personally and business-wise from me and wondering why I’m MIA so I finally decided to share. Our entire family has COVID. Yes, every single member got it. We all have varying degrees of symptoms. I was last to be symptomatic. We all were praying it was just a bad winter cold. But it wasn’t.” She continued: “Nothing is worse than wanting to care for your little ones but feeling so sick you can barely function yourself. I feel useless as a parent. Devastated. Matthew Lawrence Attends 90s Con Without Wedding Ring After Cheryl Burke Split

After Matthew Lawrence's divorce from Cheryl Burke made headlines, he stepped out at the inaugural 90s Con without his wedding ring, waxing nostalgic about his Boy Meets World tenure.

"It was really surreal playing a high schooler [and eventually] college freshman, and I really would come home to three kids," former costar Trina McGee, who played Angela on the sitcom, told Good Morning America on Saturday, March 12. "It was a nice getaway."

While McGee, Will Friedle, Rider Strong and Danielle Fishel opened up about their show memories during a group interview, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Lawrence, 42, was not wearing a wedding ring while sitting in the corner of the set. The Brotherly Love alum, for his part, remained quiet for the duration of the GMA interview — though denied his former colleagues' jokes that he never answered their group chat.

"He was the first adult who really let me in on his condition. Like, full-on let me in,” Lawrence said during Saturday's nostalgic panel. "I mean, as bright as he was on camera — I would go visit him in his trailer to talk to him — it was painful for him. It’s really painful for him. He didn’t hide it. He talked to me about it."

The Jumping Ship actor remembered Williams, who died in August 2014, telling him, "Don't ever do drugs, especially cocaine."

"He was very serious. He was like, ‘You know when you come to my trailer and you see me like that?’ He’s like, ‘That’s the reason why. And now I’m fighting for the rest of my life because I spent 10 years doing something very stupid every day. Do not do it.’ I stayed away from it because of him," Lawrence said.

The Pennsylvania native is newly separated after the Dancing With the Stars professional dancer, 37, filed for divorce last month. (The couple tied the knot in May 2019 after dating on and off for several years.)

"I know I have always said I'm an open book with you guys, I do strive to be, and in writing this I've realized there really isn't an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending," Burke wrote via Instagram on February 24. "I hope you can understand that I will not be commenting any further at this time and am asking for understanding and privacy. Thank you all for all the kind words and support you've given me."

While Lawrence has yet to publicly address the pair's breakup, a source previously told Us Weekly that they disagreed about having kids and were "keeping divorce matters private."

Pete Allegedly Texts Kanye He's 'In Bed' With Kim K. While Defending Her

Pete Davidson's Alleged Texts to Kanye West Reveal Mental Help Offers, Threat to 'Stop Being Nice' Amid Kim Kardashian Romance

Even more to say. After Kanye West posted a series of explosive videos about estranged wife Kim Kardashian and their coparenting struggles, he dropped a serious allegation about her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

"The boyfriend texts me, antagonizing me, bragging about being in bed with my wife," the "Heartless" rapper, 44, said in a since-deleted Sunday, March 13, Instagram video while praying that the Skims founder, 41, would allow the pair's four children to attend that morning's Sunday service. "I fought it publicly for a year and a half. I've been dragged how she's not my wife, she don't have [my] last name and now he’s texting me, bragging about how he's in bed with my wife and I'm like well, 'Who's watching my children?' if he texting me bragging about being in bed with my wife."

The Illinois native acknowledged in his prayer that the Selfish author was no longer his wife since they were both declared legally single earlier this month amid their divorce. (Kardashian filed to make the split official in February 2021 after more than six years of marriage and filed to be declared legally single the following December.)

"God, I just need to protect my children," West continued in his Sunday Instagram video, referring to the estranged pair’s four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2. "You protect the children [and] I know our nannies, some of them are Christian. You touch them, please God, today and have them bring my children to Sunday Service this morning. The devil ain't gonna win, this is gaslighting."

West went on to say that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum has helped get "Black people outta prison" amid her law school education before further bashing the Saturday Night Live star, 28.

"You know who puts Black people in prison? The person your boyfriend has a tattoo of: Hillary [Clinton]. You understand the setup here?" West alleged in his social media upload, referencing Davidson's ink of the former Secretary of State's face.

While the New York native is not active on Instagram, the alleged text messages were shared via his friend Dave Sirius' account, an SNL writer and The King of Staten Island coproducer.

"Yo it's Skete, Can you please take a second and calm down," Davidson allegedly wrote to the rapper. "It's 8am and it don't gotta be like this. Kim is literally the best mother I've ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f—king lucky that she's your kids mom. I've decided I'm not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet. Grow the f—k up."

In response, West allegedly replied by asking the comedian where he was "right now," which is when Davidson snapped a bedroom selfie. He captioned it, "In bed with your wife."

The "Jesus Walks" musician then apparently told Davidson: "Happy to see you're out the hospital and rehab."

Davidson replied: "Same here. It's wonders what those places do when you go get help. You should try it. I'm in La [sic] for the day if you wanna stop being a little internet b—ch boy and talk."

“You don’t scare me bro. Your actions are so p—y and embarrassing. It’s so sad to see you ruin your legacy on the daily.”

The rapper told the comedian to come to his Sunday Service if he wanted to chat, but Davidson refused to meet in public. “I’m not here for pictures and press. Which is obviously all you care about,” the screenshots read. “My offer stands.”

Davidson, who was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2017, opened up about his own wellness journey. “I struggle with mental stuff too. It’s not an easy journey. You don’t have to feel this way anymore. There’s no shame in having a little help. You’ll be so happy and at peace.”

The performer went on to claim he stopped Saturday Night Live from mocking West publicly. “You have no idea how nice I’ve been to you despite your actions towards me. I’ve stopped SNL from talking about or making fun of you which they’ve wanted to do for months, he added. “I’ve stopped stand up comedians from doing bits about you cause I don’t want the father of my girls kids to look bad out there.”

He continued in the alleged screenshots, “I have your back even though you treat me like s–t because I want everything to be smooth. But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months, I’m gonna stop being nice."

West made headlines hours earlier on Sunday, sharing a handful of videos slamming Kardashian and their coparenting arrangement.

"I don't have custody, I had to fight to have my kids not on TikTok," West alleged in another Instagram video at the time. "It's always been a gang. It's like we've never had Christmas anyplace else other than one location. … I'm a dad, I have an opinion. I'm an American, I'm a Christian, I'm an entrepreneur and I'm not controlled."

The KKW Beauty founder and Davidson were first linked in October 2021 after reconnecting during her SNL hosting debut. The pair even shared a brief stage kiss during an Aladdin-inspired sketch on the variety series. While their romance continued to heat up, West has taken issue with their connection by sharing several social media disses about Davidson. He even featured an animated version of the Freak Brothers star being buried alive in a startling music video for his song "Eazy."

"Pete is trying to make out like he finds Kanye's pranks hilarious, but nobody really believes him," a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month, nothing that Davidson is trying to "downplay the impact" of the video. "He actually feels sorry for the guy, but at the same time, he just wishes he could be left alone."

Rocker Romance! Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid’s Relationship Timeline

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 11:00 AM PDT

No more "Chasing Cars" — it's all about chasing Court! Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid have been going strong since 2013, and their nearly eight-year relationship has only continued to bloom in the time since.

After first being introduced by mutual friend Ed Sheeran, the former Friends star and Snow Patrol musician began dating in September 2013, entering a whirlwind romance that saw them getting engaged less than a year later in June 2014. Despite a blip in their relationship — the two called off their engagement in November 2014 but were back together by March 2015 — the stars have seemed incredibly happy together, frequently gushing about each other in interviews and on social media.

"I know that I've never loved like I love this woman," McDaid told Us Weekly in May 2016.

Though they’ve never walked down the aisle, the Irish guitarist made his love for the Cougar Town actress permanent when he inked her initials on his wrist in September 2016.

Two years later, in October 2018, the singer-songwriter detailed how his family has happily expanded thanks to Cox and her daughter, Coco, whom she shares with ex-husband David Arquette. "We're kind of growing as it is and Courteney and Coco often come over and we all have a big gathering,” he told Us of spending time with his siblings.

For her part, Cox frequently shares cozy Instagram posts with the Irish guitarist — whether it's for date night, a jam session (the Shining Vale star is a pianist!) a special occasion or just a sweet selfie, the TV star is always waxing poetic on social media about her feelings for McDaid.

"He’s the kindest, most patient, best listener, curious, caring, not to mention talented and gorgeous partner," she captioned an Instagram birthday tribute to her beau in July 2021. "I love you jmd."

The couple were forced to date long-distance during the COVID-19 pandemic, in which they have been separated for months at a time since March 2020 due to travel and quarantine restrictions.

Though the actress has been open about how much she misses McDaid when they're apart, that doesn't mean that the two are … getting down via video chat. There is "no zoom intimacy," she told Howard Stern in June 2021.

That being said, the entertainers definitely make the most of their time together.

I don’t want to give a hard yes or no,” he teased, adding that he’s also looking forward to potentially meeting someone while taking part in The Bachelor Live on Stage tour this spring.

“I’m always open to [love],” Rodney said. “I’m really hoping to find it. I think have a weird feeling, I feel like this is my year. I’m going to speak it into existence, manifest it. We’ll see, maybe it is on tour.”

There is potential for someone to find love at the event, which will be hosted by former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin. “Bachelor Nation fans can finally experience like a night at the mansion,” Rodney said about what the audience can expect from the live show. “That’s really what we want to [do]. We’re going to have limo entrances. We’re going to have one-on-one dates, group dates. We're going to be handing out roses.”

He added: “It’s going to be a night full of fun and laughter [and] maybe some lighthearted connections.”

Meet the Pooches! A Complete Guide to Hallmark Stars' Dogs

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 08:00 AM PDT

Hallmark has gone to the dogs! Many of the network's beloved actors and actresses are also fervent animal lovers and devoted puppy parents.

"He's just all cuddles with our family. He's the best," Candace Cameron Bure gushed over her Rottweiler, Boris, during a July 2018 interview with Today"Boris makes my life better because he just loves me. He loves me on my good days and on my bad days and he doesn't care what I look like or even if I smell somedays. Boris just loves and that's why he completes me.”

The Fuller House alum, who has adopted five Rottweilers with husband Valeri Bure over the years, enjoys cuddling up to her large pooch, whom she affectionately nicknamed "my beast."

Cameron Bure has long been an animal lover after working with many dogs, chimpanzees and reptiles throughout her tenure as D.J. Tanner on Full House.

"I mean, there's nothing like getting a new little puppy that literally looks like a fuzzy bear," the California native told Today. "It's so cute! … I got my first dog at 18 because my brother and my mom and one of my sisters [are] allergic to fur in general so we didn't have pets when I was young and I really wanted them. So, ever since I was 18, I mean, that was it."

The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries star is not the only Hallmark personality to adopt a four-legged companion. Tyler Hynes is the proud dog dad of pups Hudson, Timbit and Rusty James. Rusty was the latest canine to join the brood after Hynes adopted him amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"He’s a pandemic puppy. Purebred pandemic puppy,” Hynes told Southern Living in February 2021. "[Adopting a dog is] something I wanted to do for a while and I just never had the time to sort of focus on it and do it right, and the opportunity hadn’t presented itself. My family had always adopted a lot of puppies [and] dogs, so I started looking into that and when I finally had time to do it, it was during the pandemic. And yeah, I finally was able to give the right amount of time and focus and investment I wanted to give, bringing a new dog home."

Jesse Metcalfe, for his part, frequently shares puppy pics via his social media, posing with his rescue dog, Mr. Bojangles. (Metcalfe shares the dog with his girlfriend, Corin Jamie-Lee Clark.)

"I'm Bowie, and I love my daddy @realjessemetcalfe 💙," a post on the canine's official Instagram page read in April 2021, accompanying a photo of the John Tucker Must Die actor holding his dog.

In Awe! Celebrities Who’ve Gotten Starstruck Meeting Fellow A-Listers

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 07:00 AM PDT

In awe! Celebrities, including Emma Stone, Jake Gyllenhaal and more are just like Us when it comes to meeting their idols — and other famous stars.

Gyllenhaal recalled "absolutely" being starstruck with Mandy Patinkin when the Criminal Minds alum came to see him in the musical Sunday in the Park With George. "He originated the [title] role and basically created the role," the Brokeback Mountain actor told W Magazine in January 2022 of the interaction.

The Donnie Darko star was equally as stunned when he met Brad Pitt on the set of The Good Girl in the early 2000s.

"I was working with Jennifer Aniston, who was his wife at the time, and there were a lot of very racy scenes. I remember putting my hand out to shake his, and accidentally hitting the door," Gyllenhaal told the outlet. "[Brad] said, so confidently and kindly, 'Well, you have another one. It’s all right.' He was very, very, very sweet to me, and it was actually a really lovely exchange. But, yeah, I was starstruck."

Kristen Stewart felt like she had an out of body experience when she spotted Neve Campbell in a restaurant.

“I looked over my shoulder and did this thing that I hate when people do [it] to me, where they look and then snap back and pretend they didn’t see or something,” the Spencer actress recounted to W Magazine in January 2022.

Stewart remembered her friend trying to convince her to go and say hi to the actress before Campbell waved her over.

“She invited us to sit down and chat for a minute. I was like, ‘Man, I need to go see Scream [5].’ I love that series so much," the Twilight star continued. "But it’s funny who actually starstrikes you. It’s never who you expect. It’s a physical thing. Maybe you love a musician, maybe you love an actor so much, but you see them and you’re like, ‘Yeah, cool. That’s them. They’re a person.'”

Pitt, for his part, remembered what it was like meeting one of his all-time favorite actors Luke Perry, while the duo worked on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie was released two months after the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum died in March 2019 after suffering a massive stroke at age 52.

"Man, he was so incredibly humble and amazing and absolutely committed," the Troy star told Esquire in an interview for its Summer 2019 issue. "He couldn't have been a more friendly, wonderful guy to spend time with. I got to sit down and have some wonderful conversations with him. It was really special."

It was this strange burst of excitement that I had, to be able to act with him.” The Titanic star agreed, saying, “I remember my friend Vinny, who is in the film as well, we walked in and we both had this butterfly moment of like, ‘Oh, my God, that’s Luke Perry over there!’” Shutterstock (3)

“Mr. & Mrs. Mahomes 🤍,” Mahomes and Matthews, both 26, captioned their official wedding photos via Instagram on Saturday, March 12. In the snaps, the pair stood beneath an ornate floral archway alongside their daughter Sterling, 13 months.

Mahomes, Matthews and their loved ones kicked off their wedding weekend with an elaborate party in Hawaii on Friday, March 11.

Long before the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback became a major force in the NFL, he was a high school student bonding with a classmate. During Mahomes' early tenure at Whitehouse High School in 2011, he connected with the Brittany Lynne Fitness founder and won her heart.

While the Texas natives went on to attend different colleges, they both remained committed to their relationship.

"He ended up going to Texas Tech, and that's when it really hit me, 'Oh s—t, he might go play professional football," the fitness trainer told Today in December 2020. "It was surreal to see him living his dream and seeing him grow as an athlete and as a man in general was just amazing."

After celebrating her little one's milestone, Matthews' best friends held a bachelorette party for the bride.

"My girlsssss mean everything to me, cannot wait to decompress & enjoy this with my people 💕," the KC Current owner wrote via Instagram Story on Friday, February 25, alongside footage from the festivities.

The ladies celebrated the duo’s forthcoming nuptials with an array of bridal-themed balloons, fancy dresses, custom slippers, group workout sessions and plenty of time in the pool.

Earlier this year, Matthews was at the center of controversy after she — and her love's brother, Jackson Mahomes — were criticized for their game day behavior. Social media users were upset at Matthews for spraying champagne on unsuspecting fans, who were watching the Chief's playoff victory in January. Rumors soon swirled that Patrick had banned his fiancée and his 21-year-old brother from attending future NFL games.

"Y'all just be making stuff up these days 😂😂😂," the professional athlete tweeted on February 18, denying the claims. Matthews, for her part, later retweeted his note, writing, "Legit."

Celebrity Weddings of 2022: See Which Stars Got Married

They do! Whether they went with a secret, private wedding ceremony or an all-out extravaganza, these celebrity couples all have one thing in common — they’re married.

Bachelor in Paradise star Derek Peth kicked off the new year by tying the knot on January 14. He and British model Saffron Vadher got engaged in November 2020.

“Mr. & Mrs. Peth !!! 💍👰🏽🤵🏻‍♂️14/01/2021,” the bride captioned a January 17 photo of their hands with their wedding rings via Instagram. The Bachelorette alum went for a platinum band while the model had a band encrusted in small diamonds to go alongside her sparkling engagement ring.

“I love our life together,” Peth commented. Vadher replied to her new husband, “I love you moreeee.”

The banker was previously engaged to Taylor Nolan after getting popping the question on BiP season 4. The two split in June 2018.

Peth and Vadher went public with their relationship in March 2020. They were isolating together amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and the model shared a number of TikTok videos with him in the months that followed. She even announced their wedding on January 15 with a TikTok video.

The clip showed their hands with their rings before the video showed the model grabbing her new husband’s face. “Officially Mrs. Peth!!!” the excited newlywed captioned the clip.

Peth wasn’t the only BiP alum to tie the knot in January. One day later, Jordan Kimball, who appeared in the third season of the tropical reality show, married Christina Creedon in a Houston, Texas, ceremony.

The couple, who announced their relationship on social media in November 2019, shared photos from their big day on social media. The elementary school teacher wore a long-sleeved gown and Kimball looked happy while filling the champagne tower. The bride and groom’s first dance was to “When You Say Nothing At All” by Alison Krauss.

The ceremony included traditional vows, with the pair exchanging letters an hour before they walked down the aisle. "I chuckled, I cried, I smirked," Kimball exclusively told Us Weekly of his now-wife's note.

Creedon agreed: "It was so hard not to cry the entire time, just from pure joy."

The groom revealed he was overcome with emotion when he saw her walking down the aisle. "Seeing her for the first time — we didn't do a first look — and seeing her in her dress, [I started crying]," the Bachelorette alum told Us, adding that he "for sure" expected to keep his emotions in check. "Ever since that moment, I’ve realized how important she is to me. I mean, to cry in front of lifelong friends and family and everything — I’ve never loved her as much as I do today."

The pair had been engaged for more than a year. Kimball proposed on Christmas Eve in 2020 while they were at the church she grew up attending. Her love planned the whole event, making sure cameras were there to document the day and her family was nearby to witness the happy moment.

"Even when we were sitting in church [after the proposal], I just randomly started crying, like, pure joy," she told Us exclusively at the time. "I watch [the video] like every 30 minutes."

Throughout their time in high school, the athletes rooted each other — Mahomes played both football and baseball while Matthews was a soccer star — and were each other's go-to dates for dances in the gym.

The teenage sweethearts went to different colleges, but both stayed in Texas, which helped keep their relationship alive.

"He ended up going to Texas Tech, and that's when it really hit me, 'Oh s—t, he might go play professional football," the Brittany Lynne Fitness creator told Today in December 2020 of her fiancé's football skills. "It was surreal to see him living his dream and seeing him grow as an athlete and as a man in general was just amazing."

In between his Super Bowl appearances, the quarterback proposed to his longtime love on the same day he received his championship ring at Arrowhead Stadium in September 2020.

"On a day that was meant to celebrate you, you turned it into celebrating us. It's always us, it's always you and me," Matthews wrote via Instagram at the time. "The words you looked into my eyes and said to me at this moment, will NEVER leave my mind! You made this day perfect, you took my entire breath away and I could not have imagined anything better. I love you, forever and always! Cheers to spending our lifetime together and an inseparable bond🎉🥂💕."

Tristan Thompson’s Drama Through the Years: A Timeline

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 06:03 AM PDT

Keeping up with the drama. Tristan Thompson's life in the limelight has been filled with controversy — from cheating scandals and paternity claims to high-profile breakups.

The Sacramento Kings player joined the NBA in 2011, but it wasn't until he started seeing Khloé Kardashian in August 2016 that his personal life became so public.

Thompson's past relationship with Jordan Craig became a hot topic as news broke in September 2016 of his romance with Kardashian. While Thompson claimed that he and Craig were over way before he was set up with the reality star, Craig's pregnancy caused speculation about the timing.

After the birth of his son, Prince, in December 2016, Thompson's ex-girlfriend claimed that his relationship with Kardashian caused her grief amid the pregnancy. Craig alleged in court documents from November 2018 that the NBA player paid her $112,000 to not hook up with other men after he was already seeing the TV personality.

Thompson and Kardashian's dating timeline was also called into question, with a source exclusively telling Us Weekly in June 2019, "Jordan does question the timing of Khloé's very public timeline of events during that time, in which she insisted that she was unaware that Tristan had dumped her for Khloé."

At the time, both Thompson and Kardashian denied that they were together while he was still romantically involved with Craig.

However, that wasn't the only time that Thompson was accused of cheating. In fact, his February 2019 hookup with Jordyn Woods resulted in his first breakup with Kardashian. While the pair, who share daughter True, reconnected in August 2020, Us confirmed in June 2021 that they had again called it quits.

Relationship drama appears to follow Thompson, who has been accused more than once of parenting children with various women. In December 2021, Us exclusively confirmed that Maralee Nichols welcomed a baby whom she claimed was fathered by the Canada native.

In court documents obtained by Us, Thompson acknowledged having sex with the trainer — whom he spent time with at his 30th birthday celebration — multiple times. He also requested there be genetic testing ordered to determine paternity.

The NBA star confirmed in January 2022 that he is the father of Nichols’ son, Theo.

News broke that Thompson had cheated with multiple women while Kardashian was pregnant with their daughter, True. The story spread after photos surfaced that month of the professional basketball player kissing a random woman at a New York City club. Later that same day, TMZ released never-before-seen footage of Thompson packing on the PDA with two different women while at a hookah bar in Washington, D.C. in October 2017. Amid the scandal, Kardashian gave birth to their daughter on April 12 and chose to remain in a relationship with Thompson. MEGA

Craig claimed in court documents that Thompson’s romance with Kardashian caused her stress amid her 2016 pregnancy. In the docs, obtained by Radar Online in June 2019, the blogger alleged that Thompson knew of the pregnancy in April 2016 and began dating the reality star four months later. “Their relationship went viral and everything took a turn for the worst. Every day several articles were published worldwide mocking my new unfortunate reality and my pregnancy would now become one of the most popular gossip headlines due to the woman Tristan was now publicly dating during my pregnancy,” Craig alleged in the paperwork, which was filed as part of her demand for more child support. She pointed to the unwarranted scrutiny surrounding on her split from Thompson and the arrival of their son as a source of “negative, unwanted attention and stress into my life, and more critically, into my pregnancy.” Craig claimed: “My obstetrician ordered me to be on bed rest due to high levels of stress that eventually caused me to have serious pregnancy complications.” Courtesy of Jordan Craig/Instagram

Ten months after Thompson was caught cheating on the Revenge Body host, news broke that he kissed Kylie Jenner’s former BFF Woods at a party. A source exclusively told Us at the time that Kardashian “feels so betrayed” by Thompson’s latest actions. “This time it hurts even more because the person who it was with is someone who knows very much what Khloé has gone through in the past year. Jordyn is like part of the family,” the insider said. The infidelity led to Kardashian and Thompson breaking up, but they continued to coparent daughter True. The former Boston Celtics player shut down rumors that he was still with ex-girlfriend Craig when he first began seeing Kardashian. “When I met Khloé, I was SINGLE,” he tweeted at the time. “The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards [Khloé] are unnecessary. She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrong doings.” One month prior, Kardashian explained her side of the story after the timeline of her and Thompson’s relationship was called into question. “MY TRUTH IS: I met Tristan because HE CHOSE to go on a blind date with me. A mutual friend set us up,” the Strong Looks Better Naked author wrote via her Instagram Story in June of that year. “After going on some dates, Tristan told me that he had an ex that was pregnant. Obviously, I was reluctant about us continuing to date or start a relationship.” Kardashian alleged that Thompson showed her proof that things were over between him and Craig “long before” she met him. “[He] had me on calls with his lawyers to prove his point. His best friends, business associates and even his mother told me, him and his ex were broken up before we met,” she added. Courtesy of Jordan Craig/Instagram; MEGA; Shutterstock

Thompson filed a libel lawsuit against a woman named Kimberly Alexander after she claimed that he fathered her 4-year-old son. He called her “a wannabe social media influencer and pornographic model/performer who is so desperate to achieve her 15 minutes of fame that she recently fabricated a false claim that [he] is the father of her nearly 5-year-old son,” according to court documents obtained by Us. The athlete noted that he voluntarily took a paternity test in January 2020, which “conclusively determined that Thompson is not the father of Alexander’s child.” Thompson’s attorney claimed that after receiving the test results, Alexander “refused to accept the results” and accused him and those close to him, including Kardashian of “manipulating the results.” The attorney stated that the allegation was a “malicious lie.” Courtesy of Tristan Thompson/Instagram

“I was kinda seeing Tristan before Khloé. Before Khloé or any of them knew he existed. I was seeing him, I had him come to L.A., I brought him to a party Kim [Kardashian] had,” Larsa Pippen claimed during an episode of the “Hollywood Raw” podcast. “I introduced him to all of them. Then a week later, or 10 days later, he started seeing Khloé. Which is fine, I don’t even care. It’s whatever. … I never cared that Khloé was with him after me.” The Real Housewives of Miami star then denied rumors that she recently had an affair with Thompson following news of his and Khloé’s reconciliation. “I would never do that. That’s not even my personality,” she said. “If they love each other, then God bless. I think when you have a family with someone, it’s really hard to break up.” A source exclusively told Us later that month, however, that Pippen had no part in Thompson’s introduction to Khloé. “No one remembers Khloé meeting Tristan before [being set up by mutual friend Brandon Jennings] or being introduced to him through Larsa,” the insider said in November 2020. “Larsa was never dating Tristan. Thompson got into a social media feud with Lamar Odom over their mutual ex, Khloé. After the TV personality shared a photo of herself in a bikini under an outdoor shower, both men left flirty comments via her Instagram page. “@lamarodom God brought you back the first time. Play if you want, different results 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️,” the Ontario native clapped back at Odom after he left a series of flame emojis and heat emojis. The Khloé & Lamar alum — who was married to the former E! personality from 2009 to 2013 before they split — then seemingly threw shade at Thompson. He retweeted a video with the caption, “NBA Twitter watching Tristan Thompson pretend to act tough on Lamar Odom.” Odom addressed the controversy during an appearance on “The Megan Promer Show” later that month, saying, “He don’t really know me, so that could have really turned ugly.” He went on to explain why he chose not to escalate things further, adding, “He’s a Black man [and] he’s in the NBA, so we’re fraternity brothers at the end of the day. I’ll just leave it there.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock; Courtesy Tristan Thompson/Instagram

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's Relationship Timeline

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 06:02 AM PDT

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson welcomed their first child — a baby girl named True — in April 2018, and now Us Weekly is looking back over their whirlwind romance, including a cheating scandal that broke two days before the arrival of their daughter.

The Good American designer and the Cleveland Cavaliers player sparked romance rumors in August 2016 and made their first appearance as a couple the next month while celebrating Flo Rida's birthday party at LIV in Miami.

Kardashian has spoken candidly in the past about her and Thompson's desire to have a big family. "He wants to have, like, five or six kids with me, and that's lovely," she said on the season 13 finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "We could start at one and then grow from there. But now, knowing I'm on birth control, it's really scary. It's like a really big step."

Less than year after Thompson was caught cheating on Kardashian with several different women during her pregnancy, multiple sources told Us Weekly that the basketball player was spotted "making out" with Kylie Jenner's best friend Jordyn Woods in February 2019. (Thompson seemingly denied the accusations by tweeting and deleting "FAKE NEWS.")

An insider confirmed to Us the same day the cheating scandal broke that Kardashian and Thompson had called it quits after more than two years together.

However, the duo ultimately decided to give their romance another try; Us confirmed in August 2020 that they were back together. Nearly one year later, Us confirmed that the duo had called it quits once again in June 2021.

"They broke up a few weeks ago," a source told Us at the time. "They remain amicable toward each other and will continue to coparent [their daughter, True]."

The insider noted that "there was no drama" between the on-off duo ahead of their split, adding, "Things just didn't work out."

The breakup came six months before news broke that Thompson was being sued by Maralee Nichols who claimed he fathered her newborn son. The NBA player confirmed the paternity in January 2022 and issued a public apology to Kardashian as he was dating her when he fathered the child.

He came to the dinner, cause I didn’t want to go on a blind date, so Brandon kind of ambushed the blind date. After viewers saw Thompson gift Kardashian a diamond necklace during a December 2019 episode of KUWTK, she took to Instagram to defend her decision to forgive the NBA player for his past indiscretions. “Life is short! We are all humans trying to figure out this thing called life … Yes, I’m allowed to feel hurt and pain. It would be unnatural for me to pretend as if I don’t. Personally, I don’t want to be carrying around a hateful heart,” Kardashian wrote. Me holding onto hate is only going to hurt me in the end. I have chosen to NOT pollute my heart and my energy by holding onto anything negative … I am allowed to forgive but still not accept their behaviors … I was nothing but beautiful blessings for EVERYBODY that has ever been in my life.” Hours later, she revealed that she was writing about both Thompson and Woods. “The reason why I decided to post my previous post is because I’m seeing a lot of back-and-forth with people asking ‘why don’t I keep that same energy with Jordyn?’ That message is for Jordyn,” Kardashian wrote. “It’s for anyone else who has ever hurt me. Thompson, who confirmed via legal documents that he had sex with the trainer in March, has requested a paternity test as Nichols is suing for child support. Kardashian is "hurt" by the news, a source exclusively told Us. "This is a very sad time for Khloé. She really loves Tristan and still held a candle for him. She thought he might have changed his ways. Khloé now knows that Tristan was unfaithful to her when they were back together." The insider added that the Kardashian family "has all rallied around her" with their support. "Even though Khloé is hurt, she’s staying strong and trying to move forward," the source said. On January 3, Thompson confirmed that he was the father of Nichols' son via his Instagram Story. At the time, he also issued a public apology to Kardashian, writing: "Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry." Shutterstock

Kardashian told Variety that Thompson’s paternity drama will play out on her family’s upcoming Hulu show, saying, “I wish I never had to talk about that because it’s not a fun thing to talk about. But it is part of my journey in life, so we will see it on the show.” Shutterstock (2)

After confirming that Thompson's paternity scandal "will be addressed" on Hulu's The Kardashians, the reality star told Variety, "We try as a family to protect the privacy of our partners or significant others, since they didn't really sign up for this; we did. But if something is really public like this was, it would be strange if Tristan was a part of the show and then all of a sudden he disappears and we don't ever talk about it." She explained that "everything happens for a reason," adding, "I always try to be as respectful as possible, but it is reality. But it's not going to be some long, drawn-out situation. I think people are probably a little tired of it. ... There's so much more to love about life than these little blips that happen to us." Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock; MEGA

Amid his paternity suit drama, Thompson claimed that he and Kardashian were engaged in Snapchat messages he allegedly sent to Nichols. In court documents obtained by Us, the NBA player allegedly wrote in April 2021 that he was "engaged but I will be married soon. ... Why would you want a baby with a man that’s engaged. You wanna keep a mistake." One month later, the Canada native allegedly told Nichols that "me and my fiancè [sic] gonna announce publicly about out [sic] marriage" soon, adding that they planned to move out of the country after getting married. Thompson has claimed that the texts are fake. Nichols is not commenting on, confirming or denying anything pertaining to pleadings and documents in the paternity file. While neither he nor the Good American founder have confirmed an engagement, the documents state that he paid $2 million for an engagement ring. Courtesy of Tristan Thompson/Instagram
