"We're doing it no matter what at this point. … We've waited so long. I want it to be everything that we both dreamt up and we wanted all the people there," Fletcher exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2021 of their decision to hold off on the wedding until everyone could be there in person. "So it's a personal decision, but I would say if anyone else is waiting, just know that it's going to be worth it. That day is not any less special just because you've had to move it. Everything We Know So Far About Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas' Wedding Posted: 25 Mar 2022 04:04 PM PDT Happily ever after! Ahead of her wedding to Luis Ruelas, Teresa Giudice has been very candid about her journey of getting down the aisle. Us Weekly originally confirmed that Giudice and Ruelas were dating in November 2020. The pair later revealed that they started seeing one another three months prior. At the time, a source exclusively told Us that the romance was "very new, but they are happy." In October 2021, Giudice announced that Ruelas proposed during a trip to Greece. They were joined by her former Real Housewives of New Jersey costar Dina Manzo and her husband, Dave Cantin, on the trip. “My Fiancé you are such a beautiful person inside and out. I love everything about you especially your heart and the way you treat me and my daughters. You are amazing in so many ways one thing I admire about you is what a great Dad you are,” Giudice wrote via Instagram at the time. “I am so lucky to have found you thank you for coming into my life. I know my parents sent you to me from that day I prayed to them on Bay Blvd. I adore you endlessly. You are the love of my life, my soulmate and my everything. I Love you Ruelas, for his part, gushed about how he knew Giudice was The One as soon as they met. “I spent my entire life dreaming of you … everyday without even knowing who you were,” he captioned an Instagram post from their celebration. “These have been the most defining moments of my life and I am eternally grateful to share them with you. This is just the beginning of the rest of our lives.” That same month, Giudice’s brother, Joe Gorga, opened up about his reaction to the exciting news. “[Luis] is living up to everything he’s talking about, so I’m just so happy that they’re in love,” Gorga told Us at the time. “She’s ecstatic. She loves him. She’s really, really happy. She always wanted to be loved, like, really loved, and he loves her.” Joe’s wife, Melissa Gorga, also showed her support for the upcoming nuptials during a joint interview with Us. “It’s going to be so Jersey and so fabulous!” the "On Display" singer teased, noting that she didn’t think she'd be part of the bridal party. "I didn't go to the first one so at least I never attended one of her weddings before. This [will] be my first.” Four months later, the cookbook author confirmed that she didn’t ask Melissa to be one of her bridesmaids. “Don’t make a big deal. I mean, come on,” Giudice said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in March. For Melissa, it was a surprise to find out that she wouldn’t be involved on television. “I did find out on TV that I’m not going to be in Teresa’s wedding and I’m not a bridesmaid, which I’m OK with. I’m fine with [it]," the singer said during an episode of her "Melissa Gorga on Display" podcast. "I understand. To each their own.” The Envy by Melissa Gorga creator admitted that she wasn’t expecting to make the cut. "Is it, like, a no-fam wedding other than the four daughters, her four beautiful daughters, and like a couple of her friends? I think if that’s the case then that makes perfect sense," she said at the time. "I mean if she’s having Louie's sisters than I guess that makes perfect sense for Teresa." The designer went on to say that she was there to support her sister-in-law no matter what. "We’ve always backed her up and we haven’t said much on the show in a negative light regarding her and Louie and it’s for a reason," Melissa, who has been married to Joe since 2004, shared. "It’s because we want her to be happy and we want it to be good. So I hope she sees that and realizes that, and I wish her nothing but happiness and I’m sure her wedding will be absolutely beautiful.” Scroll down for everything to know about Giudice and Ruelas’ big day: ![]() Giudice and Ruelas are set to tie the knot in New Jersey. At the time, the reality star also admitted that she would love for host Andy Cohen to attend her nuptials with his friend Sarah Jessica Parker. "We'll talk about it. There's a decent chance I won't be there with Sarah Jessica if I get invited," Cohen noted at the time. Teresa also previously revealed that many of her RHONJ costars would be getting invites, telling Entertainment Tonight in January, "I'm not a fighter. I'm a lover. I'm a lover. I'm all about the love. That's why I just want to spread the love." Kristina Bumphrey/Shutterstock |
Shanna Moakler Sets the Record Straight on Matthew Rondeau Relationship Posted: 25 Mar 2022 02:52 PM PDT ![]() Navigating what’s next. Shanna Moakler opened up about where her relationship with Matthew Rondeau stands following his domestic violence arrest. “I’d like to address recent events that took place. I understand my recent public situation has been triggering for many and I do not condone his behavior,” the former Miss USA, 46, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, March 25. “However, truthfully, I would not be with a man who was portrayed as a monster for the past two years of our relationship. The headlines have been overwhelming and many [of them are] untrue. … Matthew is a good and loving man whom I will always care deeply for.” Though Moakler confirmed that “as of now” she and Rondeau, 29, are not in a relationship, she explained that they were supporting one another as they “work on getting the proper guidance we both need.” She continued: “We clearly hit a low in our relationship and it’s not something that we can resolve overnight. It takes time to heal. I know we are not the first to deal with these issues, but we are actively taking the steps to remedy it for ourselves and our families. Hopefully, we as individuals can learn and grow from a painful and unfortunate experience and come out better people. Thank you to all of you who been very supportive. Please respect our privacy at this time.” Following an altercation between the twosome on February 24, Us confirmed that the Murder Party actor was arrested for felony domestic violence. Earlier that day, Rondeau shared an alarming video on Moakler’s Instagram account, accusing his then-girlfriend of infidelity and being romantically interested in her ex-husband, Travis Barker. The model, who was released six hours after his booking, addressed his legal issues amid his tumultuous relationship with Moakler. "Today was one of the most heartbreaking days of my life," Rondeau wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. "To my family and friends, I just want you to know I love you so so much. You know I'd never lay a hand on another woman. My mother is my angel and my best friend. She raised me right." He added: "I'm safe and I'm just moving forward. I'm just mentally drained and in complete disbelief. The love of my life has made me out to be the villain. This will be my last post for awhile. God bless everyone who actually knows the truth of who I am and how I am as a man." Earlier this month, Moakler told Us that she was still dealing with the aftermath of the altercation with Rondeau and his arrest. “It's very difficult because it's, like, I just lost the man that I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with and my best friend,” the Celebrity Big Brother contestant explained. “I had a plan for my life. … Now I don't know where I'm at in my world, so I'm trying to get the help that I need to get myself back on track and in a good headspace so I can move forward.” She also condemned the death threats that Rondeau and his family allegedly received after the arrest, explaining that “he's a good person who's going through a difficult time, and I'm not condoning the video or any actions, but I think attacking someone's family with small children is not the way to heal this, or even to bring awareness to these types of situations.” Moakler added that she hoped the pair would both get the support they need “to get healthy” as individuals. The Dancing With the Stars alum made headlines when she announced on March 3 that she was expecting her fourth child after splitting from Rondeau. However, it turned out to be a false positive and Moakler confirmed to Us on Wednesday, March 23, that she is not pregnant. Dave Coulier Reveals Role Wife Melissa Played in His Decision to Get Sober Posted: 25 Mar 2022 02:50 PM PDT ![]() A weight lifted. Dave Coulier opened about how it felt to publicly discuss his struggles with alcohol — and he said he’s doing better than ever. “I’m having the best time of my life,” the Full House alum, 62, said during a Friday, March 25, appearance on Good Morning America. “I feel healthier than I ever have. You have to feel like you want to change and improve your life and let it come from the inside outward.” One day earlier, the comedian revealed that he decided to get sober in 2020 after an accident that left his face bloodied. "I was a drunk. Yes. An alcoholic,” the Michigan native wrote via Instagram on Thursday, March 24, alongside a photo from the incident. “I've been alcohol free since January 1, 2020. When I drank, I was the life of the party. I could make people laugh until they fell down. In this picture I was the one who fell down. Not because I was playing hockey or doing the things I love — like chopping wood or doing construction, golfing, fishing or flying airplanes. I was hammered and fell, going up some stairs made of stone." The Fuller House veteran said on Friday that it was “hard” to admit that he had a drinking problem because he thought an alcoholic “was something that I thought other people were.” After the night that he fell down, however, he decided he needed to make a change. “That was pretty much it,” he explained on GMA. “My wife was out of town, so I had to send her that picture and she started crying. And at that point, I realized, ‘Wow, I need to fix this.'” The Muppet Babies voice actor and Melissa Coulier tied the knot in July 2014 after nine years of dating. Following Dave’s sobriety reveal, the photographer, 38, expressed her support for his recovery on social media. “SO proud of you,” she wrote in the comments of his original Instagram post. “I love you and your strength so much!!” Several of Dave’s Full House costars weighed in as well, offering their congratulations via Instagram. “Love you and always proud of you,” wrote Candace Cameron Bure, who played D.J. Tanner on the beloved sitcom and its spinoff, Fuller House. "Thank you, poopoo,” replied Dave, who played D.J. and her sisters’ “Uncle” Joey. “Love you.” Scott Weinger, who played D.J.’s high-school sweetheart, Steve, congratulated his former costars with a string of clapping hands emojis and a red heart. “Much respect my friend, love you,” added Josh Peck, who appeared on Grandfathered with Dave’s Full House costar John Stamos. |
Bachelor Nation Couples Who Got Together Outside the Show Posted: 25 Mar 2022 02:16 PM PDT What happens on The Bachelor, doesn't always stay on The Bachelor! While many couples have found — or lost — love on the reality TV dating franchise over the years, others have met their match within Bachelor Nation after their season ended. Katie Thurston joined the club of offcamera Bachelor Nation couples in November 2021 when Us Weekly confirmed her relationship with John Hersey — who she sent home in week two of The Bachelorette season 17 — after her broken engagement to Blake Moynes. The Washington native got engaged to Moynes in her finale, which aired in August 2021. The duo announced their split the following October, and Thurston shared loved-up videos of her new beau four weeks later. She debuted their relationship by dedicating Taylor Swift‘s “Begin Again” — a song about finding new love after a major heartbreak — to Hersey alongside some personal videos of her new man. The former bank manager also shared a clip from when they met on the ABC series’ June 2021 premiere. "Yeah, that's my type. I think that's my type," she said after the bartender's limo entrance on The Bachelorette. "Did he hear me? Play it cool." While Thurston and Hersey got a second chance after the cameras stopped rolling, some Bachelor Nation members never crossed paths onscreen before finding love later on. Jason Tartick was a guest on Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s “Off the Vine” podcast in January 2019 when he asked her out — on the air! The bold move scored him a longterm relationship. In a podcast episode later that month, the season 11 Bachelorette (who was previously engaged to Shawn Booth) said she considered the Bachelorette season 14 alum her boyfriend after just a couple dates. "I never thought I would hang out with somebody from The Bachelor franchise!" Bristowe said. "I feel bad for saying that … I was like, 'You know what? I'll just be a little more private, low-key. Whatever.' But you can't help who you like. … You can't fight chemistry. You can't fight a good guy." The Dancing With the Stars winner and entrepreneur announced their engagement in May 2021. "It has been the best, like, two to three weeks of my life since [the proposal]," Tartick exclusively gushed to Us about their engagement later that month. "One of the things I really wanted to do was to surprise her. I know Kaitlyn loves to be surprised. And so that was one of my true goals to genuinely surprise her. And her reaction was absolutely perfect. It was the most Kaitlyn reaction." Three months later, however, Fuller confirmed that the twosome went their separate ways. “I’m not moving to Iowa anytime soon, so I just want to focus on me. It’s been so much about other people this year, that I just really want to hone in on what I want to accomplish,” she said on the “Viall Files” in September 2020. “I still talk to him all the time. 'Finally!' Bachelor Nation Celebrates Chris Bukowski, Anna Redman's Romance Posted: 25 Mar 2022 02:15 PM PDT It's official! After months of fueling dating rumors, Chris Bukowski and Anna Redman have taken their relationship public. "Hard launch," the Bachelor season 25 alum, 25, captioned a Friday, March 25, Instagram snap, kissing Bukowski, 35, on a beach. Redman shared more photos of the pair's tropical trip for a destination wedding hours later via Instagram Story on Friday. She captioned a tongue-heavy PDA snap, "Happy and sun-kissed here in Costa Rica." The twosome — who both hail from Chicago, Illinois — have been getting cozy since both their Bachelor Nation tenures. "[My dating life] is good. You know, it was bad for a while. After Katie [Morton, my ex-fiancée], I didn't date anybody really," Bukowski said during a January appearance on the "She's All Bach" podcast. "Recently, it's been pretty good." At the time, the Bachelor Pad alum downplayed the pair's connection, telling the hosts, "I'm not going to confirm or deny those allegations. But I know Anna. She's a great girl. … We're definitely friends. I enjoy spending time with her." He continued: "I'm just really kind of enjoying my time, you know, currently dating, and I don't want to put an extra spotlight on it by any means because genuinely, like, for the first time in a long time, [I'm] happy with no stress behind it. [I'm] just kind of, you know, enjoying good company. … No stress, very free, very natural. All of it very unexpected, but obviously, you know, happy that it's happening with whoever that might be." Bukowski has since changed his tune, commenting, "Lucky guy," on the copywriter's Friday social media upload. Fellow Bachelor Nation alumni — including Katie Thurston, Nick Viall and Raven Gates — also were ecstatic to learn the pair’s relationship news. The 30-year-old former bank marketing manager, who's been dating John Hersey since November 2021, proclaimed, "Finally!" Bukowski first joined the ABC franchise when he appeared on season 8 of The Bachelorette. Since then, he's returned for episodes of The Bachelorette season 10, Bachelor Pad season 3 and three seasons of Bachelor in Paradise (1, 2 and 6). Hayden Panettiere’s Ups and Downs Through the Years Posted: 25 Mar 2022 01:15 PM PDT Hayden Panettiere has had quite the career — and her personal life has been just as captivating. The Golden Globe-nominated actress started modeling at 5 months old and appeared in her first commercial when she was 11 months old. Her big break came in 1994 when she began playing Sarah Roberts on One Life to Live at age 5. She continued to impress onscreen with roles in Remember the Titans, Raising Helen and Scream 4, but made an even bigger splash with her television work. The New York native is best known for her leading roles on Heroes as cheerleader Claire Bennet and Nashville as singer Juliette Barnes. She was nominated for two Golden Globes for the music-based series and was nominated for a People's Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic TV Actress in 2015. At times, the actress' personal struggles overshadowed her professional success through the years. After welcoming daughter Kaya with then-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko in December 2014, the Guiding Light alum endured postpartum depression. She sought treatment twice to improve her mental health and openly talked about her ups and downs after giving birth. "It takes you a while. You feel off. You don't feel like yourself," Panettiere told Good Morning America's Lara Spencer in January 2017. "But, you know, women are so resilient, and that's the incredible thing about them. I think I'm all the stronger for it. I think I'm a better mom because of it. Because you never take that connection for granted." The pair split in August 2018, and shortly after Panettiere began dating Brian Hickerson, who was arrested for domestic violence against her in May 2019. Months later, the case against him was dropped, but his family worried that he and the actress are "very toxic for each other," a source told Us Weekly that November. Panettiere and Hickerson broke up after another domestic violence incident in February 2020. Hayden Panettiere Is ‘OK’ After Bar Fight Involving BF Brian Hickerson Posted: 25 Mar 2022 01:14 PM PDT ![]() Hayden Panettiere is “OK” after she attempted to break up a bar fight involving on-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson. The Heroes alum, 32, was attempting to separate the South Carolina native, 30, after he got into a brawl with some fellow patrons outside the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 24, according to video footage obtained by TMZ. The on-and-off couple were dining at the hotel’s restaurant when Hickerson “made a comment to an individual about leaving the waitress a poor tip,” Panettiere’s representative said in a statement to Us Weekly one day later. “That same individual along with the group he was with began badgering and shoving Brian at which point security pushed everyone outside.” Once outside, Hickerson was allegedly “attacked” by the group, per the rep, while the Nashville alum attempted to break up the fight. Though Panettiere appeared to have been knocked to the ground during the incident, she was ultimately unharmed. “Hayden was refused the opportunity to provide a statement to the police as she was escorted back inside," her rep claimed. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s West Hollywood station confirmed to Us on Friday, March 25, that someone from the hotel called the police at 12:18 a.m. regarding a fight outside. “Upon deputies’ arrival there was no evidence of a crime,” a spokesperson noted in a statement. “There was nobody complaining of pain, and no one came forward saying they were a victim of an assault.” By the time the authorities arrived, everyone involved in the incident had left and there were no eyewitnesses still present on the scene. As a result, the spokesperson told Us that police did not file a report. Us confirmed that Panettiere and Hickerson were dating in August 2018 following her split from fiancé Wladimir Klitschko. She and the former boxer, 46, share daughter Kaya, now 7. In November 2018, cops from South Carolina's Greenville City Police Department responded to a call about "a domestic assault in progress" after an alleged altercation between Hickerson and his father. Per a police report filed at the time, Panettiere appeared to be “intoxicated” and “frantic” when she answered the door. The following May, Hickerson was arrested for domestic violence after police discovered "redness and marks" on Panettiere’s body following an alleged argument between the twosome. Though the couple were spotted smiling and holding hands two weeks after the incident, Hickerson was later charged with felony domestic violence. A prosecutor-requested protective order was granted that same month, mandating that he could not come within 100 yards of Panettiere or contact her via phone, email, or third party. The prosecutor in the case claimed at the time that Hickerson had "hit [Panettiere] on the face, causing her to get dizzy" during their altercation. The actor’s charges were dismissed in September 2019. A separate insider noted that the Bring It On: All or Nothin star’s family were “being supportive as much as they can,” adding, “There is not one single person out there who isn’t concerned about Hayden. Five months after his first case was dismissed, Us confirmed that Hickerson had been arrested yet again for allegedly punching the Ice Princess actress in the face. The M.F.A. actor was eventually charged with eight counts of domestic violence and assault — seven felonies and one misdemeanor. In August 2020, he was accused of intimidating or influencing a witness in Wyoming, leading to a 50-statewide warrant for his arrest. Hickerson pleaded no contest to two felony counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend in April 2021, and the remaining six counts were dismissed. He served 33 days in prison and was placed on four years’ probation and required to pay a $500 fee. Panettiere previously made a passionate statement to Us about her relationship after Hickerson was charged. “I am coming forward with the truth about what happened to me with the hope that my story will empower others in abusive relationships to get the help they need and deserve," she claimed in July 2020. Will Scott Disick Attend Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Wedding? Posted: 25 Mar 2022 01:03 PM PDT Forever holding his peace? Scott Disick might not make the guest list for Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's upcoming nuptials. "It would definitely be awkward if Scott was at the wedding," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. "If it's filmed for sure, then he might there.” However, the insider predicts that Disick, 38, may “want to stay far away from witnessing” the pair’s vows if cameras aren’t rolling. The Blink-182 drummer, 46, and the Kardashians star, 42, got engaged in October 2021 after less than one year of dating. Watching his ex — with whom he shares children Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7 — move on with Barker hasn’t been an easy transition for Disick. “It’s going to take time for him to fully accept Travis is The One for her,” a second source told Us of the New York native earlier this month, adding that Disick believes the Poosh founder is “the one that got away.” Disick dated Kardashian on and off for nearly a decade before the two split for good in 2015. Following the California native’s engagement, a third insider told Us that the Talentless cofounder was “very jealous of Kourtney and Travis’ relationship.” The source noted in October 2021, "Scott still thinks that they could call things off before the wedding.” Several months earlier, the Flip It Like Disick alum took the high road when asked about the Kravis romance during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion special. "I think if you really love somebody, right, you want them to be happy no matter what," Disick told host Andy Cohen in June 2021. "So I do give her a blessing to be happy." Despite the apparent tension between him and Barker, Disick was spotted with the musician at Reign’s baseball game on Sunday, March 20. While a source later told Us that Barker “is cordial with Scott” for the sake of Kardashian’s kids and “respects Scott as a father,” a separate insider revealed that the feeling isn’t necessarily mutual, claiming that Disick “despises” Barker. Disick and Barker are “not on friendly terms" and are typically only together when "the kids are around,” the insider revealed. During these gatherings, Disick tries to put the animosity aside. “Scott adores his kids and would do anything to make them happy,” the source said. As for Disick and Kardashian, an insider told Us in September 2021 that “outside of coparenting, Scott and Kourtney's relationship is nonexistent.” With reporting by Diana Cooper |
Love Is Blind’s Deepti Reflects on ‘Hardest’ Decision After Shake Split Posted: 25 Mar 2022 12:56 PM PDT Two sides to the story. After Deepti Vempati and Abhishek "Shake" Chatterjee found love inside the Love Is Blind pods during season 2, the pair went their separate ways before the season was over. "I knew what I had to do," Deepti exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the Netflix series' finale in February 2022. "No one should have doubts about me [on our wedding day] and I deserve the best. So it's, like, if you're not gonna be able to offer it for me, then there's no chance I'm staying." While the information data analyst walked away from Shake in the middle of their planned nuptials, he previously admitted that he did not have a physical connection to his then-fiancée, even referring to her as an "aunt" during one episode. "There's a lot of things that he said that he didn't say to my face and [things] I've heard from other cast members," Deepti told Us about her decision to end their engagement. "I just don't have room for anybody in my life that doesn't see me in the best way. And who could even think those types of thoughts, I guess." Shortly after the finale, the pair — and their respective loved ones — have continually weighed in about the nature of the twosome's breakup. "I've mentioned earlier that there are certainly things I want to work on for myself and get better at but one thing I don't feel inclined to do is pretend I'm sad or sorry about certain things that were out of my control, certain things that I can't necessarily even speak about," the veterinarian claimed in an Instagram video in March 2022. "I'm not sorry. I think I handled the situation as best as anybody in my situation could." While Shake continued to assert his honesty, Deepti's siblings took to social media in her defense. “We've witnessed you grow into such an incredible and beautiful woman, you've inspired so many people to realize their self worth and demand what they deserve and settle for nothing less," her brother, Sunny Vempati, and his partner, Hina, wrote via a joint Instagram statement after the finale aired. “We wish you didn't pick that [clown emoji] but despite his childishness, you carried yourself with grace and continued to see the good in people." The statement continued: "Now normally I don't get involved in drama but I'mma defend my sister here: 'Shake', bruh, you're a loser. You minimized my sister's life by making some awful and cringeworthy comments about her. You made these statements knowing your own mom would one day watch it; my parents and my entire family had to sit through you talking behind my sister's back about insecurities she fought her entire life. Despite your comments on and off camera about her body, she continued to only ever be supportive of you, despite our best efforts to convince her to see through your BS. THAT'S the person she is." While Shake did not directly address Sunny's pointed remarks, Deepti reshared the message via Instagram Story, adding a heart emoji as she gushed about the "love and support" from her family. The only regret that I have is I wish I was a little more vulnerable and more emotional outward instead of inward.” Adrian S. Good luck with the rest of your life.” Courtesy of Sunny Vempati/Instagram ![]() “I’m not perfect but I’m real,” Shake wrote via a cryptic Instagram post that February. Netflix ![]() While it seemed that Shake seldom addressed his lack of chemistry with his former fiancée to her face on camera, Deepti admitted that she did discuss those issues with him. “Shake and I had conversations about how physical intimacy and that chemistry was lacking between us,” she told BuzzFeed that February. “It was kind of disappointing and hard to watch [back as the show aired], especially because my parents were so impacted by it. We welcomed him into our home.” Netflix ![]() “The one you hate the most is the one that is lying the least. I’m not gonna play that game. Ever.” Netflix ![]() After costar Kyle Abrams teased the March 4, 2022, reunion special, Shake weighed in about his involvement. “I felt like [the] villain so I played one,” he wrote via Instagram Story that February. “Low key was kinda fun at times but yeah be warned LMAOOOO.” Ser Baffo/Netflix ![]() “He lacks self-awareness in social settings or even in how to talk to people,” Deepti told Us in February 2022 of her former fiancé. “You know what? I realized it’s not my problem anymore and I shouldn’t have to deal with it. I think we’re on two completely different paths.” Netflix ![]() “After filming had wrapped, I was under the impression that we could at least celebrate this friendship that we built cause we’ve gone through something so insane and that like no one else understands,” Deepti told Nick Viall during a March 2022 episode of his “Viall Files” podcast. “As the days unfolded after filming had wrapped, I just started to see more of his true character. … I was so disappointed. Honestly, there are no words.” Netflix ![]() During the season 2 reunion, which aired in March 2022, Shake defended his tenure on the show despite believing that physical attraction was crucial for a potential romance, noting that “it’s nature” because “we’re animals.” “But I wanted to be partially blind,” he explained during the televised special. “I wanted to be, Love Is Blurry.… We all have our physical preferences. Listen, every woman in here is beautiful. I think you’re all beautiful. I’m not attracted to all of you. Unfortunately, the only one I’m attracted to is Vanessa [Lachey] — and I wish I wasn’t! I wish I wasn’t. The point is, it’s not a choice.” He added: “This show’s about finding love, OK? It’s not about rushing into something … skipping steps, you know, three through 20 to get to the end goal. … You don’t know what it is until you’re there.” Netflix ![]() “I wanted to take this opportunity to really just say sorry to a woman that I know I hurt,” Shake said in an Instagram video in March 2022. “Deepti, I am truly sorry for some of the things I said. Things that, honestly, just could’ve been left unsaid or could have been said differently. Things that never should have been on national television.” The TV personality called Deepti his “best friend” throughout filming before apologizing publicly for the unkind remarks he said about her on the series. “Even though I knew our relationship wasn’t going to end in marriage I didn’t want what we had to end either. I loved every second of it,” he said. “I’m so, so sorry that I hurt you with my words. That’s the last thing that I wanted from all of this. I’m sorry, Deepti.” Netflix (2) ![]() Deepti said that she and Shake briefly tried being friends after filming, but the vet's personality was ultimately too much for her. "As the days unfolded I kind of saw more of his true character," she said during a March 2022 episode of the "We Have the Receipts" podcast. "I realized the face or the mask that he put on during filming is nowhere near the person that I thought he was. And it kind of sucks." She went on to say that she felt "drained" every time they hung out because Shake always had a "problem" with someone. "It's such a red flag and it's usually a woman," she added. "He just doesn't know how to talk to women. It's so degrading and it's misogynistic." Ser Baffo/Netflix ![]() After Shake publicly apologized for his behavior in an Instagram video, Deepti told the Daily Mail that she thought he was faking his remorse because of all the backlash he's gotten. "I feel like he's just doing damage control, and clearly, what he's continued to do on social media since that apology, it's evident that he does not care," she said in March 2022. "He did that for show. He did that to get less hate, but he's not sorry." She added that she felt "broken" during the process of filming Love Is Blind. "That's why I am so grateful for my family and friends, because they constantly reminded me throughout the experience, 'Don't forget the work that you have done on yourself,'" she said. Courtesy Deepti Vempati/Instagram; Courtesy Shake Chatterjee/Instagram ![]() “The hardest and best decision I made was choosing myself, so I’ve partnered with @harperwilde to inspire other women around the world to have the courage to do the same,” Deepti wrote via Instagram in March 2022, promoting her collaboration with the lingerie brand. Disco Fever! Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Film New Music Video Together Posted: 25 Mar 2022 12:53 PM PDT Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are a power couple to be reckoned with — and they have the swoon-worthy love story to prove it. The duo met in 2006 on the set of Legend’s “Stereo” music video. Though they parted ways after the shoot, Teigen later told Cosmopolitan in June 2014 that they “hooked up” that night. “I was doing this fake model-y dancing with the most dead eyes you’ve ever seen in a human,” she joked of the video. “I walked into John’s dressing room to meet him, and he was ironing in his underwear. I said, ‘You do your own ironing!?’ He said, ‘Of course I do.’ I gave him a hug.” Over the next year, the couple kept in touch, but Legend would often be seen on red carpets and at events with other women. “I let him be himself for a while,” the Cravings cookbook author told Cosmopolitan. “The worst thing you can do is try to lock someone like that down early on, then have them think, ‘There’s so much more out there. I played it cool for a long time.’ Never once did I ask, ‘What are we?’ Marriage was never my goal because I’ve never been very traditional. I was just happy to be with him.” Eventually, the Voice coach was ready to settle down and the pair tied the knot in Lake Como, Italy, in 2013. They later welcomed daughter Luna in April 2016 and son Miles in May 2018. During an interview on Today in 2018, Legend opened up about how he and the Lip Sync Battle personality have made their marriage work. “We actually really love and respect and admire each other,” he said at the time. “I think that's the foundation of who we are as a couple and we actually enjoy each other's company. … [She] makes me laugh all the time. … She's so good. She's so attentive, she's so loving and she also has a great sense of humor about it all.” Scroll down to relive Legend and Teigen’s epic romance! ![]() John Legend rang in his 29th birthday with girlfriend Chrissy Teigen on his arm at The Bank in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Jan. 5, 2008. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick: A Timeline of Their Relationship Posted: 25 Mar 2022 12:50 PM PDT Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have been through the ringer. When the former couple met at a party thrown by Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis in Mexico in 2006, they had no idea that their lives would never be the same. They took Us on their journey as they broke up, got back together, welcomed not one, not two, but three babies together and learned how to be in each other’s lives — even if it wasn't as a couple. Though they ultimately made the choice to split for good in 2015, finding several other partners since (Disick notably dated Sofia Richie on-and-off from 2017 to 2020), Kardashian and Disick managed to parlay their former romance into a successful coparenting relationship to the benefit of their three shared children, Mason, Penelope and Reign. Scroll through to relive every step of the former pair's long (and sometimes tumultuous!) relationship, for better or worse. ![]() It all began in 2006, when Kardashian met Disick at a party thrown by Girls Gone Wild's Francis in Mexico. Scott Disick’s Feelings About Kourtney and Travis: Everything We Know Posted: 25 Mar 2022 12:49 PM PDT It's safe to say Scott Disick doesn't exactly ship Kravis. Kourtney Kardashian's ex is making headlines for allegedly throwing shade at her romance with Travis Barker. The eldest sibling of the Kardashian-Jenner family dated Disick on and off for a decade until they called it quits during the summer of 2015. The pair share three kids: Mason (born in 2009), Penelope (2012) and Reign (2014). While they went on to date other people, it was a common theme on Keeping Up With the Kardashians that her family hoped the Poosh founder and the Talentless designer would find their way back to each other. However, during the June 2021 KUWTK reunion episode, she revealed that they hadn't been intimate since their split. "People cannot believe that, but we have not," Kardashian told Andy Cohen. "For real." Disick added, “How annoying.” The mother of three went on to explain why she ended their relationship: "The infidelity, I only knew about it at the end, so I think the substance abuse was the dealbreaker." Disick replied at the time: "I don't want to make any excuses for my behavior. I definitely wouldn't have done these things sober, but it was all wrong. I just thought it was normal, to be honest." After KUWTK wrapped in early 2021, Kardashian went public with her relationship with Barker, whom she secretly started seeing in late 2020. Disick, for his part, had been linked to Amelia Gray Hamlin since October 2020 after ending his three-year relationship with Sofia Richie. A source previously told Us Weekly that "things haven't been the same" for Disick and the famous family "since KUWTK stopped filming and Kourtney and Travis began dating." Another insider revealed that the couple's hot and heavy romance shows no signs of slowing down. "Their relationship has gotten more serious over the past two months," the source said in April 2021. "They love each other very much and their chemistry is off the charts." Per a third source, Kardashian is "really happy with Travis and she's gotten a lot of approval on him as well. He gets her and they have fun." But does she have Disick's approval? Scroll through for everything we know about his feelings regarding Kardashian's romance with Barker: ![]() A source told Us in February 2021 that Disick is “OK” with the romance — because he “believes he still has the upper hand being the kids’ father.” The insider added at the time that Disick and Kardashian have “an incredibly special bond that no one can ever come between” with “history … and love for each other can’t be touched by anyone else, and they both know that." Shutterstock (2) ![]() According to an insider, Disick started feeling distance from the Kardashians after wrapping KUWTK in early 2021. “Scott and Kourtney’s relationship is definitely strained,” the source said in May 2021. “They don’t communicate much unless it has to do with their kids.” The source added, “Scott feels not just disconnected from Kourtney, but also all the Kardashians. This was his biggest fear — getting out of touch with his ‘family,’ and now him being on the outskirts with Kourtney is affecting him completely.” Matt Baron/Shutterstock ![]() Disick broke his silence on Kardashian’s relationship with Barker during the June 2021 KUWTK reunion, telling Cohen that he wants her to be happy. “I think if you really love somebody, right, you want them to be happy no matter what. So I do give her a blessing to be happy,” he said before throwing shade at Kardashian’s ex Younes Bendjima when the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host suggested that Disick gets “really upset when Kourtney is linked to other guys.” Disick responded, “Me? No. I just want to kill them. … Well, the last guy. Let’s all be honest here.” Scott-Disick-Shades-Younes-Bendjima-Reveals-If-Hes-OK-With-Travis-Barker-002 ![]() Barker threw shade at Disick’s lady love after a social media account suggested the musician, the Flip It Like Disick alum, Kardashian and Hamlin had dinner together in May 2021. “It’s so odd to me. Like, what does a 2001 baby have to do [with] these grown ass people? I know that dinner was awkward as hell,” one social media user commented. Days later, Us confirmed the drummer’s official social media account “liked” the comment. Shutterstock (3) ![]() After Kardashian and Barker’s PDA-filled trip to Italy, Disick allegedly messaged Bendjima to throw shade. “Yo is this chick ok!????? Brooo like what is this. PS: i aint your bro.” Shutterstock (3) ![]() “Scott was definitely embarrassed by Younes sharing his DM,” a source told Us in September 2021. “He didn’t realize when he messaged him that that would happen. He DMed him when he was in a heated moment and was just looking for him to react the same way being that they both dated Kourtney.” The source added that Disick is “sick of seeing photos of them splashed everywhere” and he “doesn’t think she should be showing off too much PDA because of their rated-R behavior,” which their kids can easily see online. Shutterstock (2) ![]() According to an insider, Disick and Kardashian are more “strained” than ever as of September 2021. “What’s really got him riled up is the effect Travis and Kourtney’s relationship is having on his relationship with Kourtney,” the source said. “He’s trying to be the best parent he can be for their kids and make it work coparenting, but he’s having problems now with Kourtney.” That same month, another insider told Us that “outside of coparenting, Scott and Kourtney’s relationship is nonexistent." Courtesy of Kourtney Kardashian/Instagram ![]() After news broke in October 2021 that Barker and Kourtney are engaged, a source told Us that Disick is “furious.” “He knew it was possible, but is very jealous of Kourtney and Travis’ relationship,” the source said. “Scott still thinks that they could call things off before the wedding.” MediaPunch/Shutterstock; AFF-USA/Shutterstock ![]() Disick made headlines in late September 2021 for unfollowing Kourtney — and all of her family members — on social media. Broadimage/Shutterstock ![]() Despite being spotted together at Reign's baseball game in March 2022, a source exclusively told Us that Disick "despises" Barker. The hangout was "a rare occasion," per the insider, and Disick usually "can't stand being around" the musician unless the kids are involved. "It's going to take time for him to fully accept Travis is The One for her," the source said of the Poosh founder, who Disick still views as being "the one that got away." Kcr/Shutterstock; AFF-USA/Shutterstock ![]() A source told Us in March 2022 that Disick may want to "stay far away from witnessing” his ex's nuptials, adding, "It would definitely be awkward if Scott was at the wedding.“ However, if the ceremony is filmed for Kardashian-Jenner family's Hulu series, The Kardashians, then he might there," the source said. Making It Official! Kaia Gerber Attends Pre-Oscars Event With Austin Butler Posted: 25 Mar 2022 12:01 PM PDT ![]() A milestone! Three months after Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler initially sparked dating speculation, the pair were seen taking their romance to the next level. Gerber, 20, and Butler, 30, were photographed attending W Magazine‘s pre-Oscars party on Thursday, March 24. The Los Angeles outing comes shortly after the couple’s trip to Paris. In photos obtained by E! News, the model paired a bright gold crop top with a green and red skirt. The Elvis actor, for his part, wore a black suit at the event and was seen holding Gerber’s hand as they left. The duo were first linked in December 2021 after they were spotted attending a yoga class together. At the time, a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that Gerber and Butler were “low-key dating,” adding, "It’s still very new." One month prior, Us confirmed that the American Horror Stories star had split from boyfriend of one year Jacob Elordi. The exes were first linked in September 2020 after public outings in New York and California. Shortly after their breakup made headlines, the Euphoria star, 24, opened up about the positive impact his ex made on him throughout their relationship. "She handles herself wonderfully publicly," the Australia native told Men's Health during an interview in December 2021, noting that he "learned so much" from Cindy Crawford‘s daughter about dealing with fame. "[She taught me] how to deal with it and just kind of be whatever about it, you know?" Gerber, for her part, previously gushed about the connection that she shared with Elordi. "Being able to be with someone I trust, where we don't want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions," the Los Angeles native told Vogue in May 2021. "Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone." Before Butler started dating Gerber, the former Nickelodeon star was in a relationship with Vanessa Hudgens for nine years. In January 2020, Us confirmed that the twosome had pulled the plug on their romance. "Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup," an insider told Us at the time. The High School Musical actress, for her part, has since moved on with MLB player Cole Tucker. |
Is Marriage in the Cards for Pregnant Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green? Posted: 25 Mar 2022 11:39 AM PDT Is there an aisle in Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green's future? Nearly one month after the Dancing With the Stars pro confirmed she and her beau are expecting their first child together, she weighed in on the possibility of getting hitched. "We just allow things to flow. It’s on the cards. Of course, you know, we’ve talked about [marriage and] what type of weddings we like," the Australia native, 36, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of The Modern Day Wife‘s What She Said panel on Thursday, March 25. Burgess — who was first linked to the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 48, in October 2020 — noted during the W Hollywood event in Los Angeles that the twosome previously discussed an ideal wedding guest count and rings. "There’s been discussions over the time that we’ve been together of stuff we like and that we would want, and we are endgame," she told Us. "So, it is definitely on the cards at some point, but we weren’t that kind of relationship [in the first place] that was like, 'So we’ll get married here and then we’ll schedule in a baby for here, but if you book a gig, we can push that a little bit.' … It's like, let life be life, right? Let’s just enjoy each other and trust that things will happen when they’re meant to." While the DWTS season 27 mirrorball champ isn't in a rush to walk down the aisle, she couldn't help but gush over her season 30 partner and their connection amid her pregnancy. "I have no need to have a ring on my finger to know that I’m gonna be loved and supported by this man and so will our child," Burgess explained on Thursday. "And to know that we’re happy and together it doesn’t give me any more sense of security, you know? So, I’m not looking for that necessarily. Don’t get me wrong: I want it, but I don’t need to have it before the baby, I think, 'Let’s enjoy this.'" Burgess and Green confirmed they are expecting their first child together, his fifth, last month. (He already shares son Kassius, 19, with ex Vanessa Marcil and sons Noah, 9, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 5, with ex-wife Megan Fox.) "We want to thank everyone for the amazingly kind well wishes The former Dancing With the Stars Australia judge has been soaking in the milestones of her first pregnancy — nicknaming her little one "peanut" in various social media posts — while Green has been "doting" on her. "He’s done this four times, this is his fifth time. And so [that’s] been really comforting," Burgess told Us. "It's given me a big sense of security and safety and confidence … in being with a man that is just so in tune with what’s happening with my body and [is] so much more understanding of it than even I am." In addition to glowing about her first pregnancy and blossoming relationship, Burgess stepped out at The Modern Day Wife’s What She Said event, speaking on a panel about female empowerment. "It was a really cool honor actually to be asked to be a part of this,” she told Us on Thursday. "And, honestly, somewhat surprising. I know that I reach out to women and they love listening to me and I know sometimes my stories are funny or inspiring to them, but I have not been asked as of yet to speak at an event like this, which I think is so freaking cool." She added: "So I’m deeply honored to be here [and] be a part of the panel of amazing women and an event that really encourages women to be their best, to strive for more to feel inspired to know that the sky is the limit essentially. And I feel like that is something I try and put forward in my presence, I guess, for people both on social media, Dancing With the Stars and anything that I do really." Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green's Relationship Timeline Posted: 25 Mar 2022 11:38 AM PDT Better together! Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green found happiness with one another following a PDA-filled Hawaiian vacation in December 2020 — but that was only the beginning of their love story. Burgess first hinted at the romance earlier that month when she exclusively told Us Weekly that she was seeing someone new. "It's been really awesome," the pro dancer told Us at the time. "I actually am not on the market anymore. But it's very new and very, you know, it's dating, essentially. No one's calling us a relationship yet." The Australia native explained that dating during the coronavirus pandemic definitely made it more interesting. "How funny would it be if I actually found the love of my life during a pandemic?" she added at the time. "I’m looking for that soulmate stuff — that thing where that something inside you recognizes that something inside them." The couple went Instagram official in January 2021 with Burgess posting a steamy photo of them kissing on a balcony. That same month, a source told Us that the twosome’s bond was only getting better with time. “Their vacation to Hawaii has brought them closer. While they’ve become Instagram official, people don’t see how close they’ve actually become since their meeting,” the insider revealed. “Those who know them can see them being together for the long haul and getting super serious.” While the source noted that the Masked Dancer judge “doesn’t want to be in that type of limelight,” the duo were still getting more comfortable in their relationship. Burgess even shared a glimpse at how dating in quarantine made their romance more meaningful during their first public appearance together in March. “We took out time and we really got to know each other for who we are on the inside. And we really built something beautiful,” she told Entertainment Tonight during their first public appearance in March 2021. Burgess opened up how she wanted to scream about her relationship “from the mountaintops,” but that at the same time, she wanted to keep it private. “That anonymity, that little secret that was just ours. We kept that for as long as we could,” she gushed about dating in quarantine. “It was a different way of dating. We really took our time. We took four or five dates before we even kissed. It was truly about getting to know the human being, because that’s where we are both at in our lives. I’m not really dating for fun, I’m dating for serious. I want to get to know you on the inside.” The Knots Landing alum was previously married to Megan Fox. He confirmed their split in May 2020 after nearly 10 years of marriage. They share three sons, Noah, 8, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 4. Burgess posted her thoughts on 2020 with a similar mention, saying, "I choose to react with kindness, respect, understanding, optimism, positivity, wholehearted gratitude and above all else, love. Love for myself, love for my people, and love for even those who haven’t got it for me... yet ;) I have no resolution this year other than to move forward with the same intentions, and hopefully inspire some people along the way." Honestly, eight months has gone really, really fast. It feels like the blink of an eye, but I also feel like I've known him my whole life. So it's one of those." The professional dancer also commented on her beau’s parenting skills and how wonderful it’s been to interact with his children. "He is an amazing dad, I can tell you that. He's one of the best I've ever known or witnessed. He's incredible," she said. "I love spending time with the boys. I love having them in my life. They're amazing kids, so it's not a hard gig. I've always loved kids. A lot of my friends have kids now and I'm obsessed with them, so it was really wonderful for me to be able to connect with them.” The actor praised Burgess’ ability to connect with his sons, adding, "She's great with them, she really is. She's super fun. They love hanging out with her and doing things and she has a great connection with each one of them. … She just instinctually sort of knows how to not be a stepparent in that way, but really just bond with them and love them." "I truly never knew it could be like this. That my happiness could find a whole new level. That life and love and all things in between could feel so inexplicably deep and connected and transparent and .... Right. Loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done and I’ll celebrate your existence today and all days, In all the ways, always. I love you, HAPPY FRICKEN BIRTHDAY!!!"Burgess said Green has been "cute as hell since birth," sharing childhood snaps of the actor, including one of him cozy in a crib. "You deserve everything you’ve ever wanted, dreamed of, or needed. I know there is so much exciting stuff ahead for you, and I can't wait to witness it," she added. "Now… let's go dive with Great Whites for the first of many crazy adventures together. (What the f--k was I thinking 🤦🏼♀️)." Courtesy of Brian Austin Green/Instagram ![]() Burgess and Green earned a 24 out of 40 during their first dance for season 30, revealing post-show that he was “never” going to dance with anyone else on the show. “I’ve never done this before; I've never dated anyone that I've danced with, whether it was in my competitions or my DWTS career,” Burgess told reporters, noting that it was a “learning curve” for their romance. “So, everything for me is new — learning that balance, every day in how to approach it. I think that's the biggest challenge. It doesn't mean it's bad, either. We haven't had a bad moment for us because our communication is so great in our relationship, so anything that arises, we discuss it. WWE’s Triple H Announces Retirement After Heart Scare, Surgery: ‘I’m Done’ Posted: 25 Mar 2022 11:33 AM PDT Hanging up his belt. WWE star Paul "Triple H" Levesque is officially retiring after undergoing heart surgery last year due to heart failure. "As far as in ring, which I get [asked about] a lot, I'm done," the 52-year-old athlete told Stephen A. Smith on ESPN's First Take on Friday, March 25. "I would never wrestle again. First, I have a defibrillator in my chest. Which, it's probably not a good idea for me to get zapped on live TV." The 14-time world champion, whose full interview will air on Stephen A's World on Friday evening, explained what led to his decision to step back from the ring, pointing to his health scare in the fall of 2021. The professional wrestler recalled having viral pneumonia where his lungs became enflamed. After learning that he had fluid around his lungs and heart, he got "increasingly worse," explaining that he was told by doctors to pack a bag and get to the hospital ASAP. Triple H had having only 30 percent of his heart ejection fraction working before arriving at the emergency room when it should be at 55 to 60 percent. (Ejection fraction is how well one's left or right ventricle pumps blood with each heartbeat.) "By the time I got to the emergency room, my ejection fraction had gone down to 22," WWE's executive vice president of global talent strategy and development said during his interview. "I was in heart failure. Bad." The next morning, Triple H noted that his ejection fraction was down to 12 ahead of his heart catheterization procedure. The stark nosedive in how his heart was pumping led to him undergoing heart surgery in November 2021. "[I was] sort of at the one-yard line of where you need to be — or where you don't want to be, really, for your family and your future," the New Hampshire native told Smith, 54, about his health pre-surgery. That scare made him reevaluate what was important to him as a father of three. ![]() "Suddenly, I come home, I'm a little bit sick and [then] their dad who is strong always suddenly is in the hospital. I don't know if they understood the consequences of it," Triple H said, noting that the severity of his heart problems was not lost on him. "There's moments in there when they're putting you out for stuff and you think, 'This is it. Do you wake up from this?' That's tough to swallow." He added: "It makes you think differently about life. It doesn't make you any less driven about the things that you do, but it certainly makes you appreciate the things that you have more. Your friends and your family." Triple H's last wrestling match was during a June 2019 WWE live event. His last televised event was later that month. The TV personality — who first competed on TV in the early '90s as Hunter Hearst Hemsley — continued to make appearances as his Triple H wrestling persona on WWE Raw, WWE's Most Wanted Treasures and WWE NXT through 2021. He has become a producer and director as well on multiple wrestling-related projects. |
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik: A Timeline of Their Relationship Posted: 25 Mar 2022 10:42 AM PDT Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have been through a whole lot since their on-off relationship began. The former One Direction singer announced the arrival of the couple’s first child, daughter Khai, in September 2020. "Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful," Malik wrote via Twitter at the time. "To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task." Us Weekly confirmed in April 2020 that the model and the British crooner were expecting their first child. "She's always wanted to start a family with Zayn," a source told Us exclusively of the then-pregnant star. Hadid and Malik's romance started in a very traditional way in November 2015. "I just asked her [out]. It was pretty straight-up," he recalled on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up in December 2016. "A gentleman never tells the full details! But, yeah, we met and we spoke, and we went on a date." Two months later, the singer premiered the music video for his debut solo single, "Pillowtalk," and it starred none other than his new girlfriend. The budding couple continued to publicize their relationship that spring, appearing in an April 2016 spread for Vogue and making their red carpet debut at the Met Gala weeks later. Hadid and Malik broke up for the first time in June 2016, but they were back together within a matter of days. From that point forward, their romance was full steam ahead — at least for a few years. "We try not to think about [dating in the spotlight] too much," the former boy bander told Us exclusively in September 2017. "There are a lot of people who are too busy in other people's lives. I just concentrate on my relationship and try to do right by my girlfriend and she does by me, and we hope for the best, as we all do!" The pair called it quits for the second time in March 2018, but once again, the breakup didn't last very long. They reunited a month later, only to go their separate ways one last time in January 2019. During their yearlong break, Hadid had a two-month fling with The Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron. Malik, meanwhile, wrapped up the promotional campaign for his album Icarus Falls and laid low the rest of the year. Us broke the news in January 2020 that the lovebirds were back together again after "trying to make it work" for several months. They welcomed Khai nine months later, but multiple sources confirmed to Us in October 2021 that the pair split once again. Matt Baron/Shutterstock; LaurentVU/SIPA/Shutterstock ![]() Shortly after reports surfaced that the model’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, wanted to file a police report after an alleged incident with the “PillowTalk” crooner, Malik defended himself via Twitter on October 28. "As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in," the former One Direction member wrote at the time. "A place where private family matters aren't thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart. In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago." Malik continued, "This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to coparent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press. I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves.” The musician later denied “striking” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum while speaking with TMZ, telling the outlet, “For the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private." Mediapunch/Shutterstock ![]() Multiple sources confirmed to Us that the pair called it quits after "having problems for a while." Zayn Malik Through the Years: From One Direction to Solo Hitmaker Posted: 25 Mar 2022 10:39 AM PDT Zayn Malik almost missed his chance at fame. On the morning of his audition for The X Factor UK in 2010, he felt so nervous that he decided not to go — that is, until his mother, Tricia, basically dragged him out of bed and helped change his mind. The rest, as they say, was history. In the middle of the competition, creator and judge Simon Cowell grouped Malik with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson to form a boy band named One Direction. The fivesome went on to conquer the world, releasing four albums together in the same number of years and performing at historic stadiums across North America, Europe and beyond. Malik abruptly left the group in 2015 in the middle of one of their On the Road Again tour. He explained to fans that there was not a rift between the members, but he simply wanted time away from the spotlight. In a British Vogue profile in 2018, the "Story of My Life" crooner explained why he parted ways with the beloved boy band. "We went from theaters to arenas to stadiums — there was never any sort of bridge between. Just boom, boom, boom," he said at the time. "I guess that kind of progression to any mind — but especially when you're 17, 18 — it kind of affects you a little bit." Malik added, "People take it different ways — especially when there are five different personalities. The relationships had broken apart." The singer-songwriter ended up returning to music in 2016 when he released the hit single "Pillowtalk" from his debut solo album, Mind of Mine. His sophomore record, Icarus Falls, followed in 2018. In addition to his successful career, Malik has made headlines for his personal life, most notably his relationships with ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards and off-and-on girlfriend Gigi Hadid. After reconciling with the Victoria's Secret stunner in early 2020, the duo welcomed their first child together that September. "Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful," he wrote via Instagram alongside a pic of their little one grabbing onto his finger. "To try [to] put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together."
