Where Do Harry and Meghan Stand With the Rest of the Royal Family? Posted: 18 Mar 2022 01:41 PM PDT Every family has a little bit of drama — even royal ones. Following their shocking step away from their senior royal duties in March 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have distanced themselves from their relatives across the pond. When the couple, who exchanged vows in May 2018, announced their plans to take a break from their senior roles in January 2020, the news came as a big shock to those closest to them. "[Prince] William was blindsided by Harry and Meghan's decision and statement," a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. "William is incredibly hurt, but at the same time he has his own family to focus on and is trying to move forward with his life." Before he and Meghan settled down in California with their son, Archie, the Duke of Sussex attended a series of meetings with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and had a "heart-to-heart" about the situation. Despite his decision to leave his position within the palace, Harry "adores" the monarch, a source said at the time. "The last thing Elizabeth wants is for Harry to feel estranged from his family and she made her feelings clear about this in the meeting," the royal insider noted. Nearly one year after their initial step away, Buckingham Palace confirmed in February 2021 that Harry and the Suits alum were not going to return as working royals. One month later, they aired their grievances during a no-holds-barred interview with CBS, claiming that they felt "a lack of support and lack of understanding" from The Firm. Harry asserted that he didn't "blindside" his grandmother with the decision, noting, "I have too much respect for her." His relationship with his father, Prince Charles, is a little murkier. "It was like, 'I need to do this for my family.' This is not a surprise to anybody. It's really sad that it's gotten to this point, but I've got to do something for my own mental health, my wife's, and for Archie's, as well, because I could see where this was headed," Harry explained, adding that the Prince of Wales had "stopped taking" his calls. More shocking revelations followed, including the allegation that a family member had made comments about the color of Archie's skin before his May 2019 arrival. (The couple are also the parents of daughter Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.) Though he refused to name the relative at the time, Harry confirmed that neither the queen nor her late husband, Prince Philip, were involved in the conversations. Many of the prince's extended family members have kept relatively quiet about the drama, but both Charles and William have been hurt by Harry's words. The monarch has tried to mediate the situation, seemingly to no avail. "With the way things are going, Charles may never forgive Harry, which hasn't gone down well with Elizabeth," a source told Us in May 2021. "She feels that he's putting his pride before the best interest of the monarchy. … It's drama she can do without." Scroll down to see where Harry and Meghan stand with the rest of the royal family: ![]() The monarch was “unimpressed” with Harry’s controversial comments about growing up within the royal family, according to a source, but she still has “a soft spot” for her grandson. Harry was also close with late Philip, who died in April 2021. “He was my grandpa: master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right ‘til the end,” the duke wrote in a tribute following his death. Meghan, for her part, spoke highly of the queen during the pair’s CBS interview in March 2021. “The queen has always been wonderful to me,” she said, reflecting on learning to curtsey ahead of their first interaction. When they welcomed their daughter, Lili, in June 2021, Elizabeth was “overjoyed,” a source told Us. With the couple in California full-time, they’ve done their best to stay in touch with Harry’s relatives. Before Philip’s death, he had a funny way of ending their Zoom calls. “My grandfather, instead of, like, pressing ‘leave meeting,’ he [slams the laptop closed],” Harry teased in a February interview. Shutterstock ![]() As he continues to speak out about his experience behind palace walls, Harry has taken aim at his father’s parenting, committing to follow a different path with his two kids. “I’m gonna make sure I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on,” Harry said on the “Armchair Expert” podcast in May 2021. At the time, a source told Us Charles was “boiling with anger” and felt “tortured by Harry with his constant digs.” A separate insider previously revealed that the future king plans on “freezing Harry out” when it’s his turn to run “a new slimmed-down monarchy.” Camilla, for her part, has remained tight-lipped about the drama. The pair sent well-wishes to Harry and Meghan when Lili arrived in June 2021. Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock ![]() Things between the brothers were rocky long before Harry and Meghan decided to step back from their senior duties — and their exit only caused more tension. “The relationship is 'space' at the moment,” Harry said of William in March 2021, later claiming his brother is “trapped” in the monarchy. “I love William to bits. We’ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.” Meghan and Kate have similarly gone through their ups and downs since the Sussexes’ May 2018 wedding. Three years later, the California native addressed rumors she made Kate cry before the big day, declaring that “the reverse happened.” However, Meghan added, “She was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologized.” Behind the scenes, Kate has been trying to get Harry and William to see eye to eye. When the trio reunited at Philip’s April 2021 funeral, the duchess acted as the “peacemaker,” royal expert Katie Nicholl said. William and Harry were cordial when they reunited at the July 2021 unveiling of a statue honoring their late mother, Princess Diana. The Fab Four have yet to reconvene as a group since Harry and Meghan’s royal exit. CHRIS JACKSON/POOL/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() In April 2020, one month after the pair’s step away from senior duties became official, the queen’s daughter shared some words of wisdom for the “younger generation” of royals. “I don’t think the younger generation probably understands what I was doing in the past and it’s often true, isn’t it? You don’t necessarily look at the previous generation and say, ‘Oh, you did that?’ or ‘You went there?’” she told Vanity Fair at the time. “Nowadays, they’re much more looking for, ‘Oh let’s do it a new way.’ And I’m already at the stage [of], ‘Please do not reinvent that particular wheel. We’ve been there, done that.’ Some of these things don’t work. You may need to go back to basics.” One year later, Anne was bumped up on the royal family’s website, seemingly taking Harry and Meghan’s place. JULIEN WARNAND/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() Anne’s son stood between Harry and William during the funeral procession in April 2021 as the family mourned the Duke of Edinburgh. Having also stepped away from the spotlight, Harry’s cousin hasn’t made many public comments about the family feuds. Maureen McLean/Shutterstock ![]() Harry and Meghan have seemingly remained friendly with Anne’s daughter and her husband, who tied the knot in 2011. In August 2020, Mike told Good Morning Britain that he hoped his cousin-in-law could “be happy” with life in California. “You know, he’s stressed that it’s all about his family, so you’ve got to support him through that,” the former rugby player said of “Megxit.” Shutterstock ![]() The Duke of York found himself embroiled in a controversy of his own, stepping away from royal duties in November 2019 amid suspicion about his connections to the late Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew was officially stripped of his titles in January 2022. He has yet to make a major statement about the couple’s departure from the royal family. RICHARD WAINWRIGHT/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock ![]() Andrew’s ex-wife has stayed on good terms with Harry and Meghan, who invited the author to their 2018 nuptials after she was snubbed from the Cambridges’ ceremony. When Meghan announced her first children’s book, The Bench, the Duchess of York came to her defense amid plagiarism claims. “To sit down and work hard to write a book, in any genre, should be supported and respected,” Ferguson told the Daily Mail in May 2021. “To encourage literacy in general, not just children’s books, is a love of mine and to encourage more women to delve into their creative selves and get a book out is very well done.” Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock ![]() Harry and Meghan were unable to attend Beatrice’s 2020 wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the couple “did call Beatrice beforehand to wish her good luck,” a source told Us. Some royal family fanatics suspected there might be tension brewing between the cousins when Beatrice announced her first pregnancy in May 2021, the same day Harry and Meghan marked their third wedding anniversary. Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock ![]() When Harry returned to England for Philip’s funeral in April 2021, he crashed at Frogmore Cottage, his and Meghan’s former residence, which was lent to Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank. At the time, a source told Us Harry was introduced to Eugenie’s son, August. With their pregnancies overlapping in early 2021, a separate insider noted that Meghan and Andrew’s youngest daughter had bonded over motherhood. “They are sort of an unlikely pair, but remain in contact,” the source said, adding that the women have “stayed friends and remain friends.” Eugenie later visited Harry in California in February 2022, and the cousins attended the Super Bowl together. Shutterstock ![]() While speaking with The Telegraph in June 2021, the queen’s youngest son and his wife brushed off a question about Harry and Meghan’s string of strong statements against the royal family. “What interview?” they teased. Edward subsequently told CNN in June 2021 that the tension between the Sussexes and the royal family was “very sad,” adding: “We wish them the very best of luck. It’s a really hard decision.” Tim Rooke/Shutterstock |
LOL! Ginnifer Goodwin’s Hubby Sends NSFW Response to Her St. Patty's Selfie Posted: 18 Mar 2022 11:46 AM PDT Feeling frisky! Ginnifer Goodwin and husband Josh Dallas are no strangers to cheeky social media banter — and now their fans can see it firsthand. The Something Borrowed actress, 43, gave her followers a glimpse at the duo's flirty text exchange via Instagram on Thursday, March 17. After Goodwin sent the Thor actor, 43, a kissy face selfie while wearing a green and white floral crown in honor of St. Patrick's Day, Dallas replied with a NSFW comment. The Manifest star — who married the Tennessee native in 2014 after three years of dating — simply sent Goodwin three eggplant emojis, which caused a stir in the comments section. ![]() "Husband is either really turned on or he wants you to pick up 3 eggplants from the store," Justin Long, who starred alongside Goodwin in He's Just Not That Into You, replied. "Either way, you're in for a fun St P Day!" Days of Our Lives actor Greg Rikaart teased, "Who can blame him? One of the Big Love alum's followers replied, "You so cute and he so naughty omg A few social media users referenced the pair's past on ABC's Once Upon a Time, in which they played onscreen love interests Snow White/ Mary Margaret Blanchard and Prince Charming/David Nolan. One person commented, "The real life Snow White and Prince Charming Dallas and Goodwin's romance started long before their saucy text exchange. They first met on set of Once Upon a Time and began dating in 2011. It wasn't long before the Kentucky native knew he'd found The One. "I mean, after the read-through or the pilot. Yeah, it was pretty soon," Dallas exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2020 of when he was confident Goodwin was his person. "I think it happened very organically." He joked, "And actors playing opposite each other never fall in love off sets, do they? That never happens in this business. But, two kids later we're still going strong, so it's a great thing." The pair, who share sons Oliver, 7, and Hugo, 5, haven't always had the most conventional way of showing their love, however. Goodwin previously told Us and other reporters in December 2018 that Dallas often sends her fruit perseveres when he's traveling. "He sends a lot of flowers, or jam because I like jam," the Zootopia actress said at the time, adding, "We FaceTime like 14 times a day." |
Setting Sail! Katy Perry Named Godmother of Cruise Ship: 'I'm So Excited' Posted: 18 Mar 2022 11:42 AM PDT ![]() Hitting the high seas! Katy Perry just became a godmother — of a cruise ship. The “Roar” songstress, 37, will perform during a christening ceremony for Norwegian Cruise Line‘s Norwegian Prima, which sets sail from Reykjavík, Iceland, this August. “My most favorite way to vacation with my family is on the water,” the Grammy nominee said in a statement on Thursday, March 17. “Every morning that you wake up, you get to experience an incredible new view. I love that I get to christen her with my good vibrations, and I'm so excited for this new, beautiful, high-end, high-tech ship to take the seas, and provide once-in-a-lifetime vacations for so many families.” A ship “godmother” is a long-standing naval tradition that involves having a civilian sponsor a vessel to bless it with good luck and officially name it. Some of Norwegian’s other godmothers include Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Kim Cattrall and Rosie O’Donnell. (Men can sponsor ships too, but it’s a little more rare — Pitbull, for example, is the godfather of Norwegian Escape.) “Let’s say G.G.,” Perry told reporters in Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 16, ahead of a performance at her Play residency. “I’m the G.G. of the vessel. I’m just excited also because it’s going to be in Iceland, and that’s a bucket list trip.” The new vessel will be the first major cruise ship christened in the Icelandic capital, and it will offer voyages to Northern Europe, Bermuda and the Caribbean. Guests will have access to multiple infinity pools, the brand’s “first-ever upscale international dining open-air marketplace” and an outdoor sculpture garden featuring “Instagrammable” artwork by artists David Harber and Alexander Krivosheiw. The “Wide Awake” singer said “nothing compares” to cruising because of the way you wake up in a “new place” every day. “You don’t even need to get off,” she added. “I think it’s the best way to see the world.” The American Music Award winner is wrapping up the second leg of her Play residency at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, which premiered in December 2021. The third leg begins in May with a fourth round of shows to follow starting in July. The inspirations for the lavish stage production include Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, Liza Minnelli and the Folies Bergère. “There are moments in the show where I do ‘WWLD’ — ‘What Would Liza Do?’ But I'm such a big kid. I've never grown up, and Walt Disney is my hero, and Mister Rogers and Pee Wee Herman are my favorite characters,” she told Variety in February. “I think I just love fantasy lands. That's because I probably lived in my head so much growing up. My mind is a childlike mind.” |

Rob Kardashian celebrated his 35th birthday the only way the Kardashian-Jenners know how — with a special, Batman-themed party full of family bonding, delicious treats and extravagant gifts. "Happy Birthday @robkardashianofficial," Travis Barker, who got engaged to Rob's older sister Kourtney Kardashian in October 2021, wrote via Instagram Story on Thursday, March 17, alongside a snap of his birthday present. The Blink-182 drummer, 46, and the Poosh founder, 42, gave the sock designer a new bicycle. "Happy Birthday Rob! We love you," a note from the engaged couple read, per the snap. Kourtney and younger sister Kylie Jenner also teased the family's party and Rob's Batman-inspired cake. In a photo shared via the 24-year-old Kylie Skin founder's Story, a "Happy Birthday Rob" sign was frosted onto a cake that featured a design of the 2022 movie poster. LOL! Tom Holland, Zendaya Rewatch Their ‘Spider-Man’ Auditions Together Posted: 18 Mar 2022 11:40 AM PDT From friends to lovers. Zendaya and Tom Holland have their romance hush-hush, but fans know that the two have a long history. The actors met while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and romance rumors quickly followed. However, there wasn’t a direct confirmation of them dating until July 2021, when they were spotted kissing. At the time, the Cherry star and the Disney Channel alum were seen packing on the PDA in Holland’s car, in photographs obtained by Page Six. The two shared a smooch and made funny faces at each other in an Audi sports car in Los Angeles. Shortly after the pics confirmed what had been suspected for years, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the pair were completely unaware of the photographer snapping away and prefer to fly under the radar. "They're both not one to make their relationship public," another source told Us earlier this month. "They're private when it comes to dating, so any photos that have come out would've just been them going about their business and not knowing photographers were around." Later that month, a third insider exclusively revealed that the Marvel stars' friendship created a strong foundation for their romantic relationship. "Zendaya and Tom started off as really great friends and stayed that way for a long while before things turned romantic,” the source revealed, adding that the Emmy winner and the Avengers: Endgame actor “work really well together because he makes her laugh and she really helps guide him through the world of celebrity.” Holland found fame as soon as he debuted as the web slinging superhero in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. Though Zendaya joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe after her beau, she entered the limelight years earlier while starring on Disney Channel hits, including Shake It Up and KC Undercover. The duo “challenge each other and balance each other out,” the third source told Us in July 2021. It isn’t clear exactly how long the couple have been dating due to the on-again, off-again nature of their relationship. While they were first linked in 2017, they’ve both had other relationships since then. Zendaya dated Euphoria costar Jacob Elordi in 2020, while Holland was rumored to be dating family friend Olivia Bolton from 2019 to 2020. He later sparked romance rumors with Nadia Parkes when he posted a photo of the actress to Instagram. Scroll down to take a look back at Holland and Zendaya’s romance: ![]() Spider-Man: Homecoming started filming in June 2016, though Zendaya was officially cast three months prior. "It happens all the time, and of course we expected it," she told Entertainment Tonight in August 2017. "I mean, it comes with the territory. It comes with the job, so it’s all good." She told Variety that month that the Billy Elliot star was "literally one of my best friends.” Invision/AP/Shutterstock ![]() Holland and Zendaya enjoyed dinner in New York City with her parents, mom Claire Stoermer and dad Kazembe Ajamu Coleman. “Tom has met Zendaya’s family and they love him,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “They are still seeing each other. "But in all seriousness, it is also incredibly frustrating. It’s very nerve-racking. It means that if you are dating someone, you have to be really conscious of their feelings, because if something does happen between the two of you, it’s not just happening between the two of you, it’s happening in front of the entire world. And it can be very complicated. It’s one of the things I worry about most, of all the things in my career.” Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock ![]() The pair were spotted kissing in a car in Los Angeles, finally offering fans visual confirmation that their romance is not just a rumor. We really are a family. And you know, becoming famous at the age of 19, but this is a different kind of famous. There’s not a corner of the world that Spider-Man hasn’t touched so it’s a lot to take in so it’s really nice for me to have a family to share that with.” F Thomson/Shutterstock ![]() Holland and Zendaya’s Christmas plans don’t include cooking a meal together. I think a shared experience is always better than a solo experience," he noted, before addressing whether Zendaya would join. "I could run it by her. But as for her answer, I’m not too sure." PDA! Inside Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor's Tennis Match Date After Reunion Posted: 18 Mar 2022 11:06 AM PDT Game, set, love! Less than one month after Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor confirmed their reconciliation, the pair stepped out to watch a tennis match. The Meet the Parents star, 56, and Taylor, 50, were photographed at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, on Thursday, March 17. Stiller sported a navy polo as he smiled beside his wife. The Wedding Singer actress, for her part, wore a purple blouse and oversized sunglasses as they took in the game. "Ben and Christine looked very happy together, he had his arm around her when they walked in," an eyewitness exclusively told Us Weekly of the pair's appearance. "[They] were sharing a lot of laughs and were very animated during the match." At one point, the Jumbotron cut to the married couple, showing off their game attendance. The insider noted that they were "great sports" and "looked like a very sweet couple." The pair's Thursday outing comes several weeks after they revealed they had rekindled their relationship after separating four years earlier. ![]() "Over the course of time, [our relationship] evolved," the Night at the Museum actor told Esquire in an interview published last month, noting that he moved back in with Taylor and their children — daughter Ella, 19, and son Quinlan, 16 — amid lockdown for the coronavirus pandemic. He continued at the time: "We were separated and got back together and we're happy about that. It's been really wonderful for all of us. Unexpected, and one of the things that came out of the pandemic. … I think we have a respect for the ways that we're similar and the ways we're different. And I think accepting that, you can really appreciate someone more because you're not trying to get them to change for you." The twosome initially met on the set of Heat Vision and Jack in 1999 before tying the knot in May 2000. They confirmed their separation in May 2017, remaining close as coparents. "With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate," Stiller and Taylor told Us in a joint statement at the time. "Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time." Since the pair's reunion, they have been eagerly looking forward to this new chapter. "[Ben's] a totally different person now — way more grown up and tolerant of himself and his own idiosyncrasies as well as others," a source exclusively told Us earlier this month. "They plan to cherish what they have, and both he and Christine are beyond excited about what's in store for the future." Their four-year separation was a "serious eye-opener" for the Zoolander star, the insider added, noting that Stiller focused on self-evaluation amid the pandemic to "stop sweating the small stuff." "He missed [Christine] terribly and hated the idea of their kids growing up in a broken home," the source continued. |
Katie Maloney Gets Emotional Addressing Her Split From Tom Schwartz Posted: 18 Mar 2022 10:59 AM PDT Sharing her side. Katie Maloney didn’t hold back while emotionally addressing what led to her split from Tom Schwartz. “I am sure all of you have heard that Tom and I have announced via Instagram that we are ending our marriage. As I said, it is something that I never thought I would have to announce but here we are,” Maloney, 35, said during an episode of her “You’re Going to Love Me” podcast on Friday, March 18. The reality star noted that the news “may or may not come as a shock” to some people, adding, “Now that it is out there and I can share a little bit more. I will probably be sharing more as time goes on. It is still a tender topic.” Earlier this week, the twosome took to social media to confirm in separate statements that they had parted ways. "Well this sucks,” the TomTom co-owner, 39, wrote alongside several photos of him and Maloney over the years. “I'm not the victim. Not gonna write too sad a song. Fully respect Katie's decision and we've had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy." Schwartz admitted that his "heart aches" as he deals with the major life change. “How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f–king canned Instagram caption. I’m not quite ready to use the ‘D’ word bc it’s too painful,” he continued. “We had some of the most blissful, romantic, fun times humanly possible over the course of our relationship. I’m talking heaven on earth level joy. She taught me so much about love & being a better partner.” On Friday, Maloney opened up about the struggles that she faced ahead of pulling the plug on their relationship after 12 years. “I realized that I had to really start prioritizing myself and my happiness as well. It just needed to happen. That’s just what everything inside of me was saying, I thought it got to a point where I just felt like I was going to burst,” she revealed. “For months, it was building up. I felt just disconnected. I felt like I was drifting further and further away.” Shortly after the pair announced the news, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that not everyone in their lives saw it coming. "They weren’t living this fairy tale and a lot of their friends picked up on that,” an insider shared, while noting that certain Vanderpump Rules cast members “weren’t even aware that they were officially separating” until their social media statements. Another source revealed that the breakup wouldn’t affect their potential future on the show. “Fans will see their divorce play out,” the insider said, adding that no contracts have been signed yet for season 10. Scroll down for all of Maloney’s bombshell confessions about her relationship with Schwartz: ![]() Maloney explained that they had been separated for "a little over a month" before they announced their split. "It's been emotional, for sure," she revealed, noting that they "still live together" and are handling the situation in a mature way. "The transition so far is going really well. We're just trying to navigate these steps together and really work on becoming friends in that sense." Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() During the episode, the former SUR waitress clarified that there wasn't any specific incident that led to the breakup. "There wasn't some crazy fight that resulted in this. It was my decision, which was probably the hardest and most painful decision I've ever had to make. But [it was] the best and only way I can describe it is just waking up and having this voice that just became louder and louder," Maloney detailed. "[Also] just events in my life and in our relationship coming into focus and feeling the weight of them on me." The Bravo personality recalled waiting to "deny" the feelings she started to have about her marriage. "I wanted to push them out of my head because I love Tom. We have built a life together, he was my person and I wanted to be with him forever. But ultimately, I just wasn't happy," she said. "For a long time, I sat with it. I thought about it and I didn't talk to anyone about it for a long time. I wanted to know, if it was just something else that was making me feel this way [and] that it was coming from a different place." After the questions "didn't stop" coming up, Maloney realized that she could "no longer deny" her emotions. Gregory Pace/Shutterstock; Tommy Garcia/Bravo ![]() While reflecting on her conversation with Schwartz, Maloney referred to it as the "hardest thing" because she knew she would "crush" him. "I had really prioritized Tom, our relationship and our future and wanted to plan for that so badly. But I didn't often prioritize myself or my happiness. That was really what was weighing on me," she continued. "I love being with him. But ultimately, I was just not fulfilled and there's other things that maybe one day I can talk about. ... I just realized that the choice I had to make was to just open up and tell him how I was feeling." Gregory Pace/Shutterstock ![]() "I feel very strongly that I'm doing the right thing. But it doesn't make it easier. It's really hard not to think about all of the best times and your wedding and everything that's going on," Maloney shared on Friday, adding that she wanted to "cling on" to the good moments between them. "But when everything else inside of you, the burning inside of you, is telling you that you deserve more, then you have to listen to that." Rob Latour/Shutterstock ![]() Maloney called her current living situation with Schwartz "peaceful" and "loving" as they figure out their individual futures. "It's been the best case scenario I could possibly imagine or hope for. We're still figuring out the next steps, I don't think we're going to live together forever," she shared. "This past month has just been us having a lot of discussions and processing all the emotions along the way." For Maloney, telling their loved ones about the split caused some embarrassment because it felt like "a failure." "But I'm so grateful that we don't have resentment and animosity. It would be truly heartbreaking. If we got to a point in our marriage, where there was resentment and anger and we spent a lifetime together and ended up hating one another after that I would be truly heartbroken," she pointed out. The Utah native concluded: "The fact that we have so much love for one another still and can end marriage on a positive note and transition into a beautiful friendship — that was the foundation of our relationship. That was the core of it. We've had an amazing friendship throughout these years. The romantic side is over but the friendship is still there." Rob Latour/Shutterstock; Broadimage/Shutterstock |
Love Is Blind’s Shake Doesn’t Buy Deepti and Kyle’s Rumored Romance Posted: 18 Mar 2022 10:05 AM PDT While Deepti Vempati and Kyle Abrams are keeping Love Is Blind fans guessing as they navigate their post-show relationship, her ex-fiancé Abhishek "Shake" Chatterjee is not buying the possibility of a potential romance. “Shake would give Kyle and Deepti his blessing and would genuinely be happy for them if it were true that they were dating. But, he thinks it’s a fake relationship," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. "He’s known them as being friends and not having a sexual relationship. He feels like they’re both using each other to get more clout and are milking the whole ‘are we dating, are we not dating?’ He finds it distasteful and sad.” Shake and Deepti got engaged on season 2 of the Netflix hit but called it quits at their nuptials in the finale. Kyle, for his part, didn't make it to his wedding day with former fiancée Shaina Hurley and has since said his "biggest regret" was not proposing to Deepti in the pods. "[We're] figuring it out," Deepti told Elite Daily earlier this month about her post-show relationship with Kyle. "Not a lot of people know that we had a really strong connection in the pods. I was really struggling to pick between Shake and Kyle. We're just trying to figure it out. There's a lot on our plate right now. We'll see what happens.” Deepti and Shake, meanwhile, are not on good terms at all. “Shake hasn’t spoken to Deepti since the reunion, apart from some texts back and forth following the reunion," the insider told Us, adding that Shake believes his ex is playing "the victim card" and exaggerating what happened between them. "He questions why she stayed with him until the end if everyone kept telling her all these horrible things about him.” Shake has since debuted new girlfriend Emily Wilson. “He feels like he doesn’t owe [Deepti] anything including an explanation and that she should move on because it’s been a year since they were together. She’s not relevant in his life anymore," the source added. "Because he’s already apologized for hurting her, he feels like he doesn’t owe her anything anymore and she should stop talking about him to the public.” The source added that Shake isn't close with any of his former costars as they "chose to align with Deepti," who has been embraced by fans of the show. "He was friends with them when it was being filmed but once the show came out, everything changed," the insider claimed. "He feels like the cast chose what was best for their image.” With reporting by Diana Cooper |
Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor: A Timeline of Their Relationship Posted: 18 Mar 2022 09:50 AM PDT Plot twist! Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor‘s love story may not be perfect, but it seemingly has a happy ending. Stiller and Taylor, who married in 2000 and have costarred in many projects together, announced their split in 2017. Two years later, they made waves at the 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards as they smiled for photos on the purple carpet. The duo were also seen looking "happy" and never leaving "each others' sides," an eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time. At the same Hollywood night out, they were spotted chatting with Paul Dano, Zoe Kazan, Billy Porter and Eugene Levy at the awards show and its afterparties. (Stiller was nominated for two Emmys at the star-studded event — Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie or Dramatic Special and Outstanding Limited Series — for his work on the Showtime series Escape at Dannemora.) The Emmys marked one of many occasions that the twosome attended together after revealing their breakup in May 2017. "With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate," the Zoolander costars told Us in a joint statement at the time. "Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time." Stiller and Taylor met while filming a 1999 TV pilot called Heat Vision and Jack, which never made it to air. And for the Night at the Museum star, it was pretty much love at first sight. "When I met her, I pretty much thought, 'That's the person,'" Stiller told Entertainment Tonight in a 2007 interview. "It was like, 'Wow, this is a great person. I love her.'" Taylor and Stiller remained tight-lipped about their relationship status in recent years. She notably dodged a question about whether they were officially back together in October 2018, exclusively telling Us at the time, "We're a big family. We're together all the time.” When pressed about her seemingly "nice" post-split relationship with Stiller, the Search Party star responded, "It's wonderful, it's wonderful." The pair continued to work together and have kept a low profile while coparenting their kids — Ella and Quinn. In February 2022, however, they confirmed they are back on. Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis Surpass $30 Million GoFundMe Goal for Ukraine Posted: 18 Mar 2022 09:34 AM PDT UPDATE 3/18/22 12:34 p.m. ET Kutcher and Kunis thanked their followers on Thursday, March 17, for their help in surpassing their $30 million fundraising goal for Ukraine. The couple announced via Instagram that more than 65,000 people donated to the cause. “We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the support," the Black Swan actress said in the social media video. "And while this is far from a solve of the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forge ahead into their future of uncertainty.” Kutcher noted, “Our work is not done," asking fans to keep donating and helping the Ukraine in any way they can amid the ongoing invasion on their country. “We’re going to do everything we can to ensure the outpouring of love that came from you all as a part of this campaign finds a maximum impact for those in need," he added. Original story below: Making a difference. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are taking action amid the unrest in Ukraine. “While we are witnessing the bravery of Ukrainians, we are also bearing witness to the unimaginable burden of those who have chosen safety,” the Two and a Half Men alum, 44, captioned an Instagram video on Thursday, March 3. “Through GoFundMe, this fundraiser will provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts.” Kutcher sat beside his wife, 38, in the accompanying clip as she spoke about her upbringing. “I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, in 1983. I came to America in 1991 and I have always considered myself an American. A proud American,” Kunis said. “I love everything that this country has done for myself and my family. But today, I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian.” ![]() The No Strings Attached actor chimed in, “And I have never been more proud to be married to a Ukrainian.” Kunis went on to address the “devastating” news coming out of Europe over the past few weeks following Russia’s invasion of her native country. “There is no place in this world for this kind of unjust attack on humanity,” she continued. The former That ’70s Show costars, who tied the knot in 2015, announced that they intend to match donations made to a GoFundMe launched to support refugee aid and other humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. They are aiming to raise a total of $30 million and pledged to match up to $3 million to benefit Flexport and AirBnB, two organizations that are assisting in providing housing and supplies to those who have fled to safety in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova. “The people of Ukraine are strong and brave, but being strong and brave doesn’t mean you’re not worthy of support,” Kunis concluded. Last month, Kutcher made a public statement in support of the Spy Who Dumped Me actress and other Ukrainians, tweeting on February 24, “I stand with Ukraine.” The Bad Moms star — who shares daughter Wyatt, 7, and son Dimitri, 5, with the Valentine’s Day actor — previously opened up about returning to her home country as an adult. “It was trippy,” she told Net-a-porter.com in November 2017. “There’s a part of you that wants to feel something towards [the place]. I had nothing. We landed and Ashton was like, ‘No?’ [and I was like], ‘Yeah, nothing. I got nothing for you, babe.'” Kunis continued: “We went to our house and I knocked on the door because we really wanted to look inside. And [the new owner] was like, ‘No!’ She did not care. I said, ‘I used to live here when I was little, my parents are here [with me].’ She wouldn’t even open the door. The whole experience was very humbling.” |
Tom Bergeron Shares Shady Response to 'DWTS' Producer's Exit: 'Karma' Posted: 18 Mar 2022 09:18 AM PDT Not holding back. Tom Bergeron moved on from his time on Dancing With the Stars — but the former host is still willing to spill the tea. After a fan shared an article about executive producer Andrew Llinares‘s departure from DWTS on Thursday, March 18, Bergeron, 66, tweeted back, “Karma's a bitch The Masked Singer alum hosted the competition series for 15 years, helping launch the show when it debuted in 2005. Bergeron announced that he had been let go after 28 seasons in July 2020. His cohost, Erin Andrews, who joined in 2014 after previously appearing as a contestant, also left. They were later replaced with Tyra Banks who stepped in to host seasons 29 and 30. ![]() Amid their departure, Llinares addressed the shocking decision to replace the longtime cohosts. "I think it's all about evolution. I think any show like this that has been on many, many seasons needs to continue to evolve," he told reporters during a panel in September 2020. "I think changing the host was all about evolution, it was about making the show feel fresh, making it feel new [and] kind of make it reach out — maybe to a new audience as well, as well as the audience that's been there for years.” Bergeron and Andrews, 43, poked fun at the comments, with the former America’s Funniest Home Videos personality tweeting in response, “SEE @ErinAndrews, I TOLD you we shouldn’t have sabotaged the spray tanner!!” The Maine native, for her part, joked back, “UGGGGHHH @Tom_Bergeron! I’m the one that WARNED you that the sequins weren’t shiny enough.” The social media humor came shortly after Andrews admitted that it was a “super big bummer” to learn that she was let go. “I didn’t have much time to deal with it. I got a phone call — we were on the putting green with my dog and my husband — and I got a call that said, ‘You know, so-and-so from ABC wants to talk to you,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, s–t,’ like, this is it,” she recalled on the “Token CEO” podcast that same month. “I felt sorry for myself, and I kind of was like, ‘This is a terrible time to lose my job,’ because we don’t know when live television is coming back. These are hard jobs to get.” More than one year, Bergeron noted that he saw his time on DWTS coming to an end ahead of the firing. "In all candor, the show that I left was not the show that I loved," he said on an episode of the “Bob Saget's Here for You” podcast in October 2021. “So, the end of the season that turned out to be my last season [in 2019], I kind of knew. So I took everything out of my dressing room that I really wanted. … It was kind of obvious that we were kind of butting heads.” |
Clayton Echard Reacts to Viral Pic of Susie Evans Choking Him in Bed Posted: 18 Mar 2022 08:51 AM PDT Bachelor Nation, it's safe to say Clayton Echard and Susie Evans aren't shying away from sharing their private life after The Bachelor finale. After the season 26 couple dropped a compilation of videos and photos from their last four months in hiding as the show aired, one image in particular made waves — a snap of Evans, 29, choking Echard, 28, in bed. "Ya I'll never be able to unsee this #TheBachelor," a Bachelor fan account tweeted on Wednesday, March 16.
The following day, Echard replied, joking about how fans have reacted to his role as the lead of the franchise. "'wE LitErAlLy kNoW nOtHinG AboUt tHiS gUy' … well now you do," the former football player tweeted. Evans, who showed off her jiu-jitsu skills on the show, replied, "I hope you're ready to tap out when I bring you to the mats this week!!! Viewers learned during part two of the season 26 finale, which aired on Tuesday, March 15, that Echard and Evans got back together after she shut down the possibilities of reconciliation in Iceland. (The twosome originally split during the March 8 episode after Evans expressed concerns about him sleeping with the other finalists, Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey.) "We've talked about it and we know from here on out, like, this is a relationship in the real world where you never know — anything can happen and we're aware of that," Echard told Us Weekly about their reunion. "We're gonna give this every chance that we can. We love each other. And as of right now, we're both very, very happy. But relationships take effort. They are hard at times. And so we know that there's gonna be those moments that lie ahead. There's never any guarantee in life, but with all that being said, I am incredibly happy to be with her. I'm so excited to be able to just go get dinner, to go hiking, do all these things with her, travel." The twosome have since headed to Virginia Beach, where Echard plans to move. "I lived there, I was born there and I moved away for a long time. And I came back to the area a couple years ago and I'm really happy there," Evans told Us. "My work is there, and I had a beautiful life before coming on the show and it's just great that I get to make an addition to it. And Clayton before the show, he was ready to uproot and figure out [what's] next for him and he's totally on board to come to Virginia Beach. So, we're gonna give it a shot." |

Viewers met Shake when season 2 of Love Is Blind started streaming on Netflix last month. He made waves when he was caught asking potential love interests, including Deepti, questions about their physical appearance when the show is based on falling in love sight unseen. The twosome split at their wedding. "I knew what I had to do," Deepti told Us after the finale aired. "No one should have doubts about me [on our wedding day] and I deserve the best. So it's, like, if you're not gonna be able to offer it for me, then there's no chance I'm staying." In addition to his relationship with Emily, Shake is gearing up to launch his new podcast, "Love Is Blurry," based on comments he made about the premise of the Netflix show on the season 2 reunion earlier this month. "We’re aiming for early summer, if not sooner. Things might get cracking pretty soon here," he told Us. "It’ll be a narrative I can control and I’m not going to manipulate my guests. I’m going to let their message shine, which is what they deserve. … People find it so easy and comfortable to just jump on what everyone else is doing. Celebrity Pets That Have Their Own Social Media Accounts Posted: 18 Mar 2022 07:14 AM PDT Celebrities are just as obsessed with their pets as everyone else — so much so that some have even created social media accounts for their animals, which have gained some pretty big followings. Paris Hilton has an entire Instagram dedicated to all of her "fur kids" called Hilton Pets. The special account is where the businesswoman has shared an abundance of footage of her various pets, including Hilton's many dogs. The Simple Life alum is such a dedicated dog mom, that she has ensured that they can live their most luxurious lives possible. "My dogs live in this two-story doggy mansion that has air conditioning, heating, designer furniture and a chandelier," she tweeted in 2017. "Loves it." Hilton also created a TikTok page for her adorable animals in July 2020. Amanda Seyfried launched an Instagram for her rescue dog, Finn, in November 2015. In the pup's debut post, he was dressed in a coat with a faux fur trim on the hood and seemingly took a phone call. The funny clip was set to "Hello" by Adele. The Mamma Mia! star's love for her own dog has led to her becoming an animal activist. "The amazing connection I share with Finn has made me appreciate being present and to not take any moment you have with the people and animals you love for granted," she told E! News in 2016. "Our special bond initiated my passion to work with Best Friends Animal Society to ensure we find forever homes for as many homeless and shelter animals as possible, and to have them experience the same joy I feel with Finn." Olivia Culpo, meanwhile, never anticipated becoming a doggy mom. However, she went on to adopt her puppy, Oliver Sprinkles Culpo McCaffrey, in July 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic. Upon welcoming her new pet home, she launched an official Instagram page for the golden doodle. "2019: I'm not a dog person," the model wrote via Instagram in September 2020. "2020: leaves dogsitter a list that includes a mandatory 'potty time' song, instruction on how to hand massage his kibble and a note in his lunch box doused in my favorite perfume incase he misses mommy." Harry and Meghan Donate to Organizations Supporting Ukraine Posted: 18 Mar 2022 06:57 AM PDT Royally kind! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have always been proponents of helping their fellow man. Charity has played a huge part in their relationship, both while they were senior members of the British royal family and since they announced their decision to step back in January 2020. Harry organized the first-ever Invictus Games in 2014, two years before he and the Suits alum met, with the goal of raising money to support wounded, injured or sick veterans while also allowing them to compete in various Paralympic-style sporting events. In addition to raising funds, the Duke of Sussex hoped the games would inspire veterans and non-veterans alike as it did him. He continued to run the charity with Markle by his side while they were dating and after their 2018 wedding. The 2020 Invictus Games were postponed due to COVID-19, but the duke said during a May webinar that the spirit of the games was alive and well. “We’ve obviously not in The Hague, but I’m so please we have been able to organize this virtual gathering when the games would have taken place themselves,” he said. “This conversation is all about sharing the Invictus spirit, and it is even more relevant now as we are having to address new challenges and adapt our lives.” The couple even made their wedding day about charity, selecting seven organizations to give back to simply because they “represent a range of issues that they are passionate about,” according to the royal family’s website. Those charities included the Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA), Crisis, Myna Mahila Foundation, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, StreetGames, Surfers Against Sewage and The Wilderness Foundation UK. After their wedding, they continued to work with organizations that aligned with causes close to their hearts, including One Young World and World Vision. Harry and Meghan’s giving didn’t stop just because they stepped back from their royal duties, however. In fact, one of the first things the couple did after announcing their exit and moving abroad was launch a nonprofit organization called Archewell. Keep scrolling to learn more about Harry and Meghan’s efforts to give back. ![]() In January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began rolling out their nonprofit organization Archewell. At the time, the site featured a note from Harry and the California native explaining their goal for the organization. "I am my mother's son. And I am our son's mother. Together we bring you Archewell. We believe in the best of humanity. Because we have seen the best of humanity. We have experienced compassion and kindness, from our mothers and strangers alike," the message read. "In the face of fear, struggle and pain, it can be easy to lose sight of this. Together, we can choose courage, healing, and connection. Together, we can choose to put compassion in action. We invite you to join us. As we work to build a better world, one act of compassion at a time." The site described Archewell as a nonprofit that "drives systematic cultural change across all communities." Shutterstock ![]() In November 2020, Harry quietly volunteered for a veterans' charity in Compton, California, called the Walker Family Events Foundation. The organization, which helps veterans and their families facing homelessness, shared two photos of the royals helping to pack and deliver food to those in need. "Today I had the honor of meeting and working alongside Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex," one photo caption read. "He joined us in volunteering at Compton VFW for the Operation Nourish program packing and distributing food to our #compton neighbors. He is very humble and kind." James Whatling/MEGA ![]() In February 2021, Genesis Women's Shelter & Support in Dallas received a donation from Harry and Meghan through the Archewell Foundation. The donation came after Texas was hit with icy and snowy weather that devastated some areas, including Dallas. "Today, we learned that the news of the damages we incurred from Winter Storm Uri reached Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex," the shelter tweeted. "Through their nonprofit Archewell Foundation, they are supporting us by replacing the roof at our transitional housing apartment complex and also helping us meet our immediate needs. Thank you, Archewell Foundation." Shutterstock ![]() Months after it was announced that Archewell would be working with World Central Kitchen to build four Community Relief Centers in the Caribbean, the first center was completed in February 2021. The effort was first announced in December 2020 — three years after the area was hit by Hurricanes Maria and Irma in 2017. "The kitchen equipment — including refrigerators and freezers that can work entirely off the electrical grid using solar power — is now installed and ready for the school's staff to cook for students and the community, and we will be launching a culinary training program later in the year. These trainings, based on Sink to Stove and our upcoming Chef Relief Training program, will equip chefs in the skills necessary to cook for the community and even feed large numbers of people in an emergency. From this Community Relief Center, we anticipate being able to prepare thousands of meals per day in the direct aftermath of any future storm." Shutterstock ![]() The couple celebrated their son’s 2nd birthday in May 2021 by asking anyone who was willing to make a donation in his honor toward healthcare in underserved communities. “We have been deeply touched over the past two years to feel the warmth and support for our family in honor of Archie’s birthday,” they wrote in a statement via their Archewell website. “Many of you donate to charities on his behalf and mark the occasion by giving back or doing an act of service — all through the goodness of your hearts. You raise funds for those who need it the most and continue to do so organically and selflessly. We remain incredibly grateful. … We are inviting you to contribute whatever you can — if you have the means to do so — to bring vaccines to families in the world’s most vulnerable places.” MEGA ![]() After working with Procter & Gamble on Global Citizen’s VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World in May 2021 to inspire vaccine confidence worldwide, the pair announced a multi-year partnership between the Archewell Foundation and the company, whose portfolio includes brands such as Tide, Olay and Charmin. The collaboration will focus on “gender equality, more inclusive online spaces and resilience and impact through sport.” MEGA ![]() After releasing her children’s book, The Bench, in June 2021, Meghan announced that she and Harry would be donating 2,000 copies of the book to schools, libraries and more. "After more than a year of unprecedented challenges for schoolkids and families everywhere, the duchess believes the path ahead must include a focus on well-being — and nourishing our communities through food, education, and emotional and mental health support," a statement on the couple’s Archewell Foundation read. “The duchess and Archewell have received the support of the publisher of The Bench to distribute 2,000 copies at no cost to libraries, community centers, schools, and nonprofit programs across the country." The four nonprofits that received grants were Smart Works, The 19th, the National Women's Law Center and the Center on Poverty and Inequality at Georgetown University. "Part of Archewell Foundation's core commitment is to build strong, compassionate, and equitable communities across the world," Harry and Meghan said in a statement in March 2022. "Although these grants have been announced as we recognize Women's History Month, the work they represent is relevant and vital every day of the year." Smart Works, a U.K.-based organization that helps women find employment with coaching tips and job interview attire, will create the Smart Works Female Unemployment Index with help from Archewell. The project will study the issues that cause women's unemployment in the U.K. and work to find solutions to the problem. The 19th, an independent, nonprofit newsroom that reports on gender, politics and policy, will use the grant to advance coverage of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. The NWLC will continue to fight for legislation that helps equality and further investigate the "workforce pushout" happening to women amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Center on Poverty and Inequality will put Archewell's funding toward their Initiative on Gender Justice & Opportunity, which helps public institutions support marginalized girls. They also are supporting domestic media such as The Kyiv Independent, which is supported through Are We Europe. One month earlier, the couple issued a statement via their Archewell website about the invasion. “We stand with the people of Ukraine,” the joint statement read. “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and all of us at Archewell stand with the people of Ukraine against this breach of international and humanitarian law and encourage the global community and its leaders to do the same.” Craig Ruttle/AP/Shutterstock |

Change of Plans! Why Pete Davidson Is No Longer Going to Space Posted: 18 Mar 2022 06:11 AM PDT Update: Pete Davidson will no longer be going to space on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin, and it appears a date change has caused the decision. “Blue Origin’s 20th flight of New Shepard has shifted to Tuesday, March 29,” Blue Origin tweeted on Thursday, March 17. “Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the NS-20 crew on this mission. We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days.” Davidson, for his part, has yet to address the news. Original Story: Big astronaut energy! Pete Davidson is the latest celebrity flying to space. The Saturday Night Live star, 28, will be on board Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin NS-20 flight on March 23, the company announced on Monday, March 14. The comedian will be joined by a crew made up of "angel investor" and businessman Marty Allen, Sharon Hagle, founder of SpaceKids Global, and her husband Marc Hagle, president and CEO of Tricor International, professor and world traveler Jim Kitchen, and Dr. George Nield, the president of Commercial Space Technologies, LLC. Blue Origin announced that every crew member "will carry a postcard to space on behalf of Blue Origin's foundation, Club for the Future, whose Postcards to Space program gives students access to space on Blue Origin's rockets" and seeks to inspire participation in STEM for "future generations." Prior to the announcement, the King of Staten Island star and girlfriend Kim Kardashian dined at the Amazon founder's home in January, Us Weekly reported at the time. Down on earth, things are getting "serious" between Davidson and the 41-year-old KKW Beauty founder, a source told Us in January. "Pete's been spending more time in L.A. to be close to Kim, and he's looking to find a place there," the insider told Us exclusively. "They've definitely gotten serious." In fact, the two finally went Instagram official with their relationship on Friday, March 11, with the reality star sharing several sweet images with the Big Time Adolescence actor for the first time since they were linked in October 2021. The couple have weathered their fair share of storms, however. They've been entangled in drama with Kardashian's estranged husband, Kanye West, who has frequently derided their relationship and slammed Davidson via social media and through this music — even burying a claymation version of the comedian in his initial "Eazy" music video, which the pair did not take lightly. The SKIMS founder, for her part, "found [the video] really disturbing and is fearful of what could come of it," an insider told Us earlier this month. "She wants to protect Pete just as much as Pete wants to protect her." ![]() The New York native and the "Come to Life" rapper, 44, allegedly got into it in a series of texts shared by Davidson's friend and SNL writer Dave Sirius via Instagram on Sunday, March 13. "Kim is literally the best mother I've ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f—king lucky that she's your kids mom," Davidson allegedly wrote. "I've decided I'm not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet. Grow the f—k up." When West asked where he was "right now," the actor allegedly responded, "In bed with your wife," sending the Yeezys creator a selfie in bed. "Happy to see you're out the hospital and rehab," the "Gold Digger" artist allegedly replied. "Same here," the comedian wrote back. "It's wonders what those places do when you go get help. You should try it." Davidson also told West that he’s not “scared” of him. “Your actions are so p—y and embarrassing,” the SNL star allegedly shared. “It's so sad to see you ruin your legacy on the daily." West shared his thoughts about the alleged text exchange via Instagram in a since-deleted video. "The boyfriend texts me, antagonizing me, bragging about being in bed with my wife," he said. "I fought it publicly for a year and a half. I've been dragged how she's not my wife, she don't have [my] last name and now he's texting me, bragging about how he's in bed with my wife and I'm like well, 'Who's watching my children?' if he texting me bragging about being in bed with my wife." While the two discussed meeting up to hash things out in person, West only wanted to meet at his Sunday Service, which Davidson turned down. "I'm not here for pictures and press. Which is obviously all you care about,” the actor allegedly replied, adding that his own “offer” — of meeting in private in L.A. — “still stands.” |
Cameron Diaz Has Turned Down ‘Numerous Offers’ Since She Quit Acting Posted: 18 Mar 2022 06:00 AM PDT Retirement suits her! Cameron Diaz stepped away from acting after two decades in Hollywood, and while the industry would love for her to make a big return, she is happy with her life as it is. "Cameron had been going at a hundred miles an hour for so many years, and it's no exaggeration to say acting had consumed her life to a degree she found unhealthy," a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. "She loved the experience of being an actor and will always be so grateful for those opportunities." Diaz, 49, eventually longed for a different kind of day-to-day. "She wanted to experience more natural and wholesome things in life and felt it was impossible to balance that with a full-time Hollywood acting career," the insider says. "It took a lot of guts and a lot of thought for her to actually step away, but she looks back now and is proud she did it. There are no regrets, and her life is way more balanced and healthy — both mentally and physically — than it was when she was charging around from role to role." The California native got her start in the business when she starred in the 1994 movie The Mask. After becoming an A-lister with an impressive list of hit movies under her belt, she confirmed in March 2018 that she had stepped away from acting. She has since welcomed daughter Raddix, 2, with husband Benji Madden, whom she tied the knot with in January 2015. While Diaz is no longer in the limelight, she is "still very close" with Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow and more of her longtime friends from the industry. "[They] were both hugely supportive and pleased for her to forge her own career path," the source shares. "Naturally they asked if she was certain this was what she wanted, but there was no doubt in their minds that Cameron could always come back if she wanted to. It wasn't and still isn't a total forever thing. But once the decision was made, Cameron never really looked back. She's had numerous offers but politely declined them each and every time." Although Diaz decided a break from acting was best for her, she is "not judgmental" toward actresses who balance work and their personal lives. "She was willing to make sacrifices for the life she personally wanted," the insider adds. The Charlie's Angels star's most recent credit was the 2014 film Annie. She explained during an August 2020 episode of the "In Goop Health: The Sessions" video series that she felt "peace" after finally "taking care of" herself by stepping away. "I really looked at my life and I saw what I had been — when you're making a movie, it's the perfect excuse, they own you — and I realized I handed off parts of my life to all these other people," she said at the time. "They took it. I basically had to take it back and take responsibility for my life."
