Not biting their tongues. Rob Kardashian and Tyga fired back at their mutual ex Blac Chyna after she claimed she wasn't receiving any financial help from them while raising their respective children, Dream and King.

"Yesterday I had to give up 3 of my cars … my reasons … morals, beliefs, being a single mother, no support I'm a MAMA," the 33-year-old model wrote via Twitter on Wednesday, March 30.

Chyna — who shares 9-year-old son King with the 32-year-old rapper and 5-year-old daughter Dream with 35-year-old Kardashian — doubled down on her claims with a second social media post.

The Washington D.C., native, further claimed she is "single [with] no support [and] child support."

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum was quick to shut down Chyna's allegations, commenting on The Shade Room's Instagram post about the tweets on Wednesday.

"[I] pay 37k a year for my daughter's school," the George Arthur designer replied. "I handle every single medical expense. I pay for all her extracurricular activities."

Kardashian — who was engaged to Chyna from April to December 2016 — claimed that he has daughter Dream Tuesdays through Saturdays, asking, "Why would I pay child support? Lol." (Kardashian and Chyna split for good in 2017.)

Tyga also responded to Chyna's claims via the outlet's social media post, writing, "I pay 40k a year for my son school."

The "Legendary" rapper alleged that son King lives with him Monday through Saturday, echoing Kardashian's remarks, "Why would I pay child support lol."

The Compton, California, native later commented on the difference between his and Kardashian’s fees, joking, "@robkardashianofficial how u pay 3k less?"

Tyga, who dated the "Maui" songstress from 2011 to 2014, added: "Let me kno the plug 🤣."

While things may be changing, Chyna previously told Us Weekly about her "really good" coparenting dynamic with both men.

"I'm definitely grateful for both my baby fathers and whatnot. They do give me that break so I can rejuvenate myself as a woman and just get back focus," the Real Blac Chyna star exclusively said in December 2019. "Or, if I have to do something, it just gives me that leeway. So, that's, I think, key."

Despite seemingly being on the same page about coparenting in 2019, Chyna and Kardashian were battling for custody of Dream for years dating back to their 2017 split. The exes reached an agreement in December 2020, which gave them each shared physical custody of their daughter.

The reality star also filed a lawsuit in 2017 against Chyna, claiming that she assaulted him. Kardashian, however, announced last month that he had dismissed the case to better serve his daughter.

"My love for Dream far outweighs my desire to proceed with my claims against her mother in a public trial," he told E! News in a statement in February. "Now that the court has ruled that there is sufficient evidence to warrant a jury trial on my claim for assault, for our daughter's sake, I am dismissing the action and focusing on my coparenting relationship with Chyna."

Chyna's attorney, Lynne Ciani, on the other hand, claimed that Kardashian dropped the case “because he knew his assault and battery accusations against Chyna were false."

‘Forever Heart’! Kelly Ripa Honors Mark Consuelos on His Birthday

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 02:33 PM PDT

Who knew that a 1995 screen test for All My Children would result in one of Hollywood's most successful love stories? More than two decades into their marriage, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos continue to make Us swoon with their passion and adoration for each other.

The Live With Kelly and Ryan host and the Riverdale actor's relationship hasn't altered since they first locked eyes as Consuelos read for the part of Mateo Santos, who would eventually become Ripa's character Hayley Vaughan's onscreen love.

Shortly after meeting on the set of the soap opera, Consuelos and Ripa quietly began dating. “I thought she was adorable, hot and sexy and all that stuff,” Consuelos recalled during a 2014 interview with HuffPo Live.”But I was very focused — I didn’t really think I had a chance with her, so I wasn’t really focused on that.”

After getting to know each other, it didn't take long for the duo to realize they were soulmates. During a date night in 1996 — which consisted of pizza and wine — Consuelos proposed marriage to his love, and the two quickly jetted off to Las Vegas where they eloped.

Luckily, Ripa snagged a $199 dress weeks prior that was just hanging in her closet waiting for the perfect occasion. “I didn’t buy it as a wedding dress. I just bought it because it was really pretty, and I wanted to buy something from the Barneys Warehouse sale,” she told the audience during a 2016 episode of her morning talk show.

One year after tying the knot, Ripa and Consuelos welcomed their first child, Michael, and went on to add two more children — daughter Lola and son Joaquin — to their family in 2001 and 2003, respectively. When their kids eventually went off to college, the duo reflected on the pros and cons of being empty nesters.

“I will say the best part is there’s no laundry in our house,” the talk show host teased during a September 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight, admitting it was “brutally painful” to drop her youngest son off at school. “There’s no dishes. There’s, like, nothing! Nothing! There’s nothing.”

On the other hand, “the worst part” was not realizing how quickly time would fly. “People would say to us, ‘Oh, don’t blink because they grow up before you know it, and they’ll be out of the house.’ And when you’re in it, you’re so tired, you’re so like, bone-tired in your bones that you can’t believe that’s true,” she explained. “But we did. We blinked, unfortunately, and now they are grown adults. … We didn’t slow down in real time to appreciate that aspect of them when they were small.”

Scroll down to take a look back at Consuelos and Ripa’s relationship timeline:

Where it all began! “I auditioned him. They’d been looking for this character for some time … They didn’t want a dark-haired guy, they wanted a Latino actor. So I had auditioned every Latino actor in the city and around the city and then California,” Ripa dished during a SiriusXM interview in August 2018. “Then all of a sudden, Judy Blye Wilson, who was the casting director in All My Children, said, ‘I found him’ … [Judy] showed me his picture and … when I saw him, the photograph of him, I saw my entire future with him flash before [my eyes]. Like, I saw it. I [didn’t] believe in any of that and now I do because of that moment.” Ann Limongello/Walt Disney Television via Getty Images via Getty Images

Even 23 years after the twosome made the quick decision to elope in Vegas, Ripa credits the small ceremony for some of their continued bliss. “Listen, I’ve got to tell you, [Mark and I] had a Vegas wedding, and I firmly believe in the power of Vegas weddings,” she told cohost Ryan Seacrest in May 2019. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes first son Michael Consuelos! The doting parents welcomed their eldest child in June 1997 and gushed over the young man in tributes for his 22nd birthday in June 2019. “Happy 22 to our #1..@michaelconsway..you’ve led the way…We love you. So proud of you,” Mark captioned two throwback pictures at the time. Ripa added: “Happy Birthday @michaelconsway ♥️ talented, handsome, smart, kind, and 22. You started this whole thing!” Diane L. Baby girl makes four! Ripa has revealed on multiple occasions that the reasoning behind the pair’s daughter’s name is thanks to Barry Manilow’s hit song “Copacabana.” The actress explains that the tune was playing in a taxi cab on their way to the hospital while she was in labor and after the lyrics said “her name was Lola,” both Mark and Ripa decided Lola Consuelos was a great name for their little girl. And then came Joaquin! Ripa’s youngest son — who often visits her on set of her morning talk show — was born in February 2003. “Happy birthday baller,” Mark captioned a picture in 2019 in honor of Joaquin’s 16th birthday. “We love you!” Robin Platzer/FilmMagic

Back on set! Ripa guest starred as Consuelos’ mistress on a January 2019 episode of Riverdale. “[Riverdale creator] Roberto [Aguirre-Sacasa] called me and said, ‘Hey, I’ve got a question to ask you. Do you think she’d want to do it?’ And I said, ‘You know, yeah. Give her a call!’ They spoke and they figured it out,” the actor explained to Us Weekly at the time of how his wife landed the role. “Roberto’s awesome, man. No one knows this world better than him. He just made it happen. I definitely did not ask for him to do that. I think he thought it would be so much fun.” Jack Rowand/The CW

After 23 years together, the duo told a story that proved they still can’t keep their hands off each other — even with kids in the house! During an episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, Consuelos took the cohost seat next to Ripa and the two told a hilarious story of the morning before when Lola accidentally walked in on them having sex on her 18th birthday. “Thanks for ruining my birthday. And thanks for ruining my life. I used to see in color, and now everything is gray!” Lola yelled to her parents after slamming the door on them. Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Ripa documented the moment she and Consuelos sent Lola to college in August 2019. The Instagram post included a photo of her hugging and kissing her daughter’s cheek as the teen started her freshman year at New York University. “The nest is getting roomy,” she captioned the picture. Her husband posted the same shot with the caption, “2 down… 1 to go…” referring to the couple’s eldest son, Michael, who is already in college, and their youngest son, Joaquin, who has two more years of high school.  Courtesy Mark Consuelos/Instagram
October 2019
In honor of his wife’s 49th birthday, Consuelos posted an Instagram photo of Ripa as a little girl, where he gushed over the talk show host and revealed that he would’ve likely been divorced many times if he hadn’t met her.  “Happy Birthday to my Fave..I’m really glad you were born.. Because let’s face it, if you weren’t , I would’ve been married 3 or 4 times by now,” he wrote. “Which would’ve been really expensive, not to mention the super tense parent teacher conferences and all the awkward blended family holiday/vacations. Anyway, happy birthday sweetie.” Charles Sykes/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

The longtime loves dished on the couple’s sex life after more than two decades into their marriage. “I think we found each other at the right time in our lives. We were really young, not that that’s the right time. We were really pliable to each other,” Ripa explained on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy’s Quarantined With Bruce. “We really learned each other well. With that comes a certain level of comfort and confidence and experimentation and just fun.” Consuelos, for his part, added: “I think you check off all the boxes for me.” Michael Simon/startraksphoto.com

Julia Fox Announces She's Working on a Book: 'It's a Masterpiece'

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 01:11 PM PDT

Putting pen to paper! Whether it be a memoir, children’s book or something in between, celebrities — including the Kardashian sisters, Michelle Obama and Mindy Kaling — have all taken their talents outside of the realm of Hollywood by becoming successful authors.

The Mindy Project alum made her authorial debut in 2011 when Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) hit shelves, followed by Questions I Ask When I Want to Talk About Myself: 50 Topics to Share With Friends in 2013 and Why Not Me? in 2015. Her 2020 essay collection, Nothing Like I Imagined (Except for Sometimes), explored her identities as an Indian woman, an actress and a single mom.

“I think I am so used to labels. The labels have been the center stone of my entire career. And sometimes they’re useful because it separates me from other people,” the Never Have I Ever producer told NPR in October 2020. “But I don’t think I would get far in this business if I had a thin skin about labels because for me — and it’s not just those. It’s, like, not traditionally thin, like, dark-skinned, like, not your Bollywood — so I’ve had these since — pretty much since I had my own show, I was sort of inundated with how other I was and really quickly. I think I’m pretty comfortable with them. And actually as I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to embrace them a little bit.”

Kaling welcomed her daughter, Katherine, in 2017, and her son, Spencer, made a surprise arrival three years later. Dating as a single mother has been “complicated,” she wrote in her 2020 book.

“Sometimes it’s the most liberating and lucky feeling in the world,” she explained. “Sometimes I am just so grateful to be an independent woman doing what I want, when I want, that I could cry with gratitude. … I save a truly staggering amount of time not having to run my parenting decisions by another person. Good or bad, I can just, like, quickly make a decision and move on with my day.”

While the Office alum chose to go into detail about her current lifestyle, Obama delved deeper into her upbringing in her 2018 memoir, Becoming, which sold more than 2 million copies in two weeks, breaking the record for the year’s highest-selling book.

In 24 chapters, the former first lady describes how her childhood in Chicago led her to where she is now. Obama embarked on a nationwide tour to promote the book, sitting down with an accomplished and diverse group of guests in front of sold-out crowds. In 2020, the Princeton University grad earned the Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for her reading of the audiobook and released a Netflix documentary based on her memoir.

“So little of who I am happened in those eight years [in the White House],” she said in the film’s trailer. “So much more of who I was happened before. … We can’t afford to wait for the world to be equal to start feeling seen.”

Helmut, who eventually became Lucci's manager, met his wife in 1965 when they both worked at a local Long Island restaurant. The Austria native, who became a U.S. citizen in January 1994, worked as a chef while Lucci served as a waitress. While the Joy actress eventually accepted a proposal from another man in 1968, she broke off her engagement once she realized she had stronger feelings for the restauranteur.

"I was thinking at the time that he was much more attractive than I even knew, and I shouldn't be feeling like that. Something is wrong with this picture," the Dallas alum said during a January 2019 interview with Yahoo! Lifestyle. "But I didn't know what to do with it.”

After a whirlwind three-month romance, Helmut proposed shortly before she joined the cast of All My Children as Erica Kane.

"I feel so lucky too that Helmut is so secure and I always look to him because he's very smart," Lucci gushed to Yahoo! Lifestyle. "I'm not even gonna say supportive, it's so beyond that. It's involved, it's hands-on, really there for me."

Helmut, for his part, added at the time: "And to love somebody like that, [it] doesn't happen that often. And if it does happen, it's the most wonderful thing in the world."

Stars Who Tested Positive for COVID-19 in 2022: Taron Egerton and More

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 11:52 AM PDT

The pandemic isn’t over. Just as it did in 2020 and 2021, Hollywood’s A-list continues to be affected by COVID-19 in 2022 — but they largely attribute their fast recoveries to vaccines.

In January, Late Night With Seth Meyers only returned from holiday break for one show before suddenly having to go on hiatus amid the omicron variant’s prevalence.

“The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!),” Seth Meyers wrote via Twitter on January 4. “We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!”

Meyers’ fellow NBC late night host Jimmy Fallon revealed a day prior that he’d recently recovered from COVID-19. The Saturday Night Live alum made it clear that he tested negative before returning to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 3.

“Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid,” he captioned a photo via Instagram of himself masked in a room marked “reserved for testing use.” The room was decorated with an iconic Diff’rent Strokes quote, which Fallon appreciated.

He continued, “I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who work so hard around the clock to get everyone vaxxed. Thank you to NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great job – and also thanks for putting me in the ‘What 'chu talkin' about Willis?’ isolation room when they told me the news.”

In the comments section, Fallon told a fan that he completely recovered, writing, “The positive came back on 12/18. Back at work today and feeling 100%!”

The NBC hosts both advocated for vaccination. As of January, the CDC recommended a booster shot for people over age 16 five months after completing the primary series. Meyers and Fallon each had a booster before testing positive.

Similarly, Whoopi Goldberg also had a breakthrough case amid the highly contagious variant’s spread. Her View cohost Joy Behar announced the news on January 3 and said the Sister Act star was expected to be fully recovered within a week.

“Why am I here instead of Whoopi? Well, Whoopi, unfortunately, tested positive over the break, but she’ll be back probably next week,” Behar explained. “Since she’s vaxxed and boosted, her symptoms have been very, very, mild. But we’re being super cautious here at The View.”

The daytime talk show opted to film remotely for the week in the midst of Goldberg’s positive test.

“They say there’s no place like home for the holidays and that’s exactly where we are this year,” Behar said. “Happy New Year from all of our living rooms. As you can see, we’re back in boxes and doing the show remotely — hopefully for just a week. I’m praying that it’s just a week, but you never know because this omicron thing is all over the place.”

"While being under self-quarantine as a proactive measure, the result of both tests came back positive, and Jungkook was confirmed with COVID-19 on Monday." “Sean tested positive for COVID, which is kind of crazy considering what he’s done for all of us,” Paul Thomas Anderson explained the Licorice Pizza actor’s absence from the DGA Awards on March 13 per The Hollywood Reporter. “Like a World War I veteran coming home, slipping on a step. So, it’s a drag not to have him here. It’s a pleasure to work with him and all the actors. It’s the best part of this job that we all have.” Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock

From Movie Star to Girl Dad: Bruce Willis Through the Years

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 11:30 AM PDT

On and off screen, Bruce Willis has a lengthy list of accomplishments to be proud of.

The actor rose to fame as David Addison Jr. on Moonlighting, which aired for five seasons from 1985 to 1989. During the show's successful run, Willis married Demi Moore and welcomed three daughters — Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis— with the Ghost actress. The pair announced their split in 1998 but had a good coparenting relationship.

"I still love Demi. We're very close," he explained to Rolling Stone in 2000, the same year they finalized their divorce. "We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we're probably as close now as we ever were. We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside … It's difficult to live your life and marriage under a magnifying glass, which is what happens to movie star couples."

While Bruce has more than 100 IMDb credits, he may be most known for his role as John McClane in the Die Hard franchise. The first film hit theaters in 1998, and he returned for four more movies, wrapping up the series with 2013's A Good Day to Die Hard.

"No one ever knows when a film is going to take off. No one could predict this," the Emmy winner told USA Today while promoting the fifth installment. "Did I think at the time that 25 years later I would still be making these films? You should call the president of the United States and ask him what’s going to happen 25 years from now. No one has any idea.”

As he continued to appear in movies and guest star on TV shows, Bruce met his second wife, Emma Heming Willis. The pair wed in 2009 and welcomed two daughters: Mabel and Evelyn.

"When we first met, I was surprised at how charming and how funny he was and extremely handsome," she recalled in a 2016 episode of People's List. "That was my first thought of you."

He gushed at the time, "I was already in love with her."

Moore proved to still be a big part of Bruce's life when she attended her ex's wedding. In 2015, Rumer opened up about her parents' dynamic.

"I'm so thankful and grateful that my parents made such an effort at that time," the 90210 actress told Larry King. "They always made an effort to do all of the family events still together and made such an effort to still have our family be as one unit, as opposed to two separate things, which I think really made an impact."

News broke in March 2022 that Bruce was "stepping back" from his career after he was diagnosed with aphasia.

"To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities," read a joint statement, signed by Heming Willis, Moore and their respective daughters. "We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him."

Inside 'Below Deck Med' Star Hannah Ferrier's Beach Wedding to Josh Roberts

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 11:22 AM PDT

Happily ever after! After exchanging vows, Below Deck Mediterranean‘s Hannah Ferrier offered a glimpse at her wedding and honeymoon with longtime love Josh Roberts.

“What a day. What a man 💗,” Ferrier, 35, captioned a compilation of Instagram photos from the special day on Tuesday, March 29. The social media upload included the couple cutting their cake, sharing a kiss after their nuptials and their festivities.

Ferrier originally opened up about her romance with Roberts during season 5 of the hit Bravo series. "This is definitely the first relationship that I actually see some longevity and potentially getting married and making babies and having a family," she said in 2020.

Ahead of her big day, Ferrier gushed about about the bond she developed with Roberts as soon as they met. “We had a glass of wine and then we went for dinner the next night and then we caught up for drinks after the races the night after that,” she told E! News earlier this month. “And then we just spent, like, seven days seeing each other for something each day.”

The chief stew, who appeared on Below Deck Med since it premiered in 2016, ended up returning to be with Roberts midway through the season. Ferrier was fired by Captain Sandy Yawn after her roommate Malia White reported her for having Valium and a CBD vape pen in the cabin.

Ahead of the season 5 premiere, the Australia native took to social media to announce that she was expecting her first child. The couple welcomed their daughter, Ava, later that year.

"Madam has arrived!" Ferrier captioned a series of photos with her newborn in November 2020, one month after her arrival. "Josh and I are so happy to welcome to the world our little girl, Ava Grace Roberts."

At the time, the Bravo personality noted that she was also celebrating a special milestone with Roberts. "2 year anniversary with my gorgeous man," the "Dear Diary" podcast host wrote via Instagram that same month. "Words can't express how much I am looking forward to this next chapter 💗."

One month after the pair became parents, Roberts popped the question to Ferrier. “And then there were three…and a ring 💍🥂,” the Ocean Training Academy cofounder gushed alongside an Instagram selfie of her showing off the new sparkler.

After fans watched Ferrier’s shocking exit, the reality star revealed that her former boss tried to reach out amid her exciting personal news.

“She sent me a message when I announced my pregnancy and asked for an address to send something and I didn’t respond to it,” Ferrier exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2021. “I sometimes feel with her … that she’s not honest with herself. Like she says, like, ‘Oh, it wasn’t personal,’ like, the firing. I was like, ‘It’s kind of funny because Kat [Held] had prescription meds that Captain Lee had found out about and she didn’t get fired.’ There wasn’t a need to fire me for that. It was a hundred percent personal, but I guess whatever helps you sleep at night.”

Hannah noted that her decision to walk away from yachting gave her more freedom to talk about her issues, adding, “I think sometimes people get confused because I’ve felt this way and thought this way for many, many years, but the only reason I can kind of talk about it now is because I know that I’ll never work with her again.”

Sandy, for her part, explained that the firing was out of her hands while reflecting on her former coworker’s next chapter.

“Hannah, she’s got her dream. She’s living her dream. She wanted a baby. Sometimes in my past, I have done things that I wasn’t aware of subconsciously because I wanted out,” the captain told Us in September 2021. “But my behavior was the way out because I didn’t know how to get out. I kind of feel, like, maybe that was some of her. But I wish her the best.”

Has Will Smith Reached Out to Chris Rock Privately After Oscars?

Will Smith may have publicly apologized for his behavior at the 2022 Oscars, but Chris Rock hasn’t heard from him privately.

Us Weekly has exclusively learned from multiple sources that Smith, 53, has not personally reached out to the Grown Ups actor, 57, following the Sunday, March 27, awards show. Smith’s only message about the incident was the one he posted on social media, per the insiders. (Reps did not respond when Us reached out for comment.)

“Chris is focusing on his tour,” a source says of the comedian, who landed in Boston for a stand-up show on Wednesday, March 30. “He’s moving on and is looking forward to his upcoming gigs.”

During the 94th annual Academy Awards, the I Am Legend actor had a heated response to a joke that Rock made about Jada Pinkett Smith‘s shaved head. The Gotham actress, 50, rolled her eyes at the remark about her joining a potential G.I. Jane sequel — and her husband took matters into his own hands.

“Keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth,” Smith shouted as he returned to his seat after approaching Rock and slapping him across the face.

Some viewers questioned whether the moment was scripted, and Smith later returned to the stage to accept the trophy for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in King Richard. Comparing himself to Richard Williams, whom he portrayed in the biopic, the Philadelphia native said, “Love will make you do crazy things.”

One day after the ceremony, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum took to Instagram to address the altercation. “Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive,” Smith wrote on Monday, March 28. “My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable.”

The Gemini Man actor said he “reacted emotionally” to the slight about the Red Table Talk host, who has suffered hair loss due to alopecia. He went on to apologize to the Saturday Night Live alum directly.

“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be,” Smith continued. “There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness. I would also like to apologize to The Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world.”

Rock has not yet commented on the situation, but Us previously confirmed that he did not file a report with the Los Angeles Police Department. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, meanwhile, announced on Monday that they were taking action amid the fallout.

“The Academy condemns the actions of Mr. Smith at last night’s show,” read an official statement, per Variety. “We have officially started a formal review around the incident and will explore further action and consequences in accordance with our Bylaws, Standards of Conduct and California law.”

"We [fellow host Regina Hall and I] had finished the bit and I guess I was about to change to get into PJs but then, I was like, 'Oh,' because we had just introduced Chris from our bit," Sykes, 58, recalled during a Wednesday, March 30, appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "So, I ran to my trailer because I wanted to watch him. I was getting changed and watching him, and then, from the moment that I went from the trailer — because I wanted to be in the house to watch — to the moment I got to the monitor, I just saw Will leaving the stage and everything was quiet."

The Monster-in-Law actress, who explained that she was confused at the events she had missed,  saw Smith, 53, "start cursing from his seat."

She continued: "I was just like, 'What? Is this really happening?' … I just felt so awful for my friend Chris, and it was sickening; it was absolutely sickening. I physically felt ill and I'm still a little traumatized by it."

During the Sunday, March 27, ceremony, the 57-year-old Saturday Night Live alum joked that Jada Pinkett Smith would be a perfect fit for a potential G.I. Jane sequel due to her shaved head. The 50-year-old Maryland native — who wed the King Richard star in December 1997 — rolled her eyes at the joke, prompting her husband to walk up on stage and slap Rock.

"Keep my wife's name out your f—king mouth," the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum yelled at the time. (Smith has since apologized for his actions while Rock has yet to publicly respond.)

Following the incident, Smith earned the coveted Lead Actor trophy for his role as Richard Williams in King Richard.

"For [the Academy] to let him stay in that room and enjoy the rest of the show and accept his award, I was like, 'How gross is this?' This is just the wrong message," Sykes told Ellen DeGeneres. "[If] you assault someone, you get escorted out of the building and that's it. But for them to let him continue, I thought it was gross."

Sykes — who cohosted the ceremony alongside Hall, 51, and Amy Schumer — noted that she wanted to run out on stage after he won, telling the crowd, "Unfortunately, Will couldn't be here tonight." As one of the hosts, the comedian claimed that no one has apologized to her following the incident.

"We worked really hard to put that show together," Sykes said. "So, I'm, like, the industry itself, I'm like, 'What the hell is this?'"

The Upshaws star added that she saw Rock after the show, noting that he apologized to her, claiming that it was supposed to be "your night.”

The Trainwreck actress, 40, was equally shocked by the turn of Sunday's events.

"I think we can all agree that the best way to unpack what happened is to stream my series @lifeandbethhulu and see me on tour this fall," Schumer wrote via Instagram on Wednesday. "But for real. Still triggered and traumatized. … I love my friend @chrisrock and believe he handled it like a pro. Stayed up there and gave an Oscar to his friend @questlove and the whole thing was so disturbing. So much pain in @willsmith anyway I'm still in shock and stunned and sad."

Meow! Machine Gun Kelly and More Celebs Who Are Obsessed With Cats

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 10:33 AM PDT

Purr-fect pets! Taylor Swift, Kate Beckinsale and more of Hollywood’s biggest stars have one serious obsession with their furry feline friends.

The "Lover" singer has never been shy about her love for her pets, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, named after some of her favorite fictional characters. While speaking with TIME in April 2019, the Grammy winner admitted that the “most influential factor” in her life is her cuddly kittens. “I have cats. I’m obsessed with them,” she said at the time. “They’re just a real joy to live with. I love my cats so much that when a role came up in a movie called Cats, I just thought, ‘I’ve got to do this.'”

Though the 2019 movie adaptation of the famous Broadway musical didn’t make a major splash with viewers, Swift teased that working on the film was her “calling in life” and said she jumped at the opportunity to learn “how to be as much like a cat as I possibly could” with her costars.

Later that month, the Nashville native opened up about how she came to adopt her third cat, Benjamin Button, on the set of a music video. “[They] handed me this tiny cat and he just starts purring and … he looks at me like, ‘You’re my mom, and we’re going to live together.’ I fell in love. I looked at Brendon [Urie] and he’s like, ‘You’re going to get the cat aren't you?'” she said during an Instagram Live.

Despite their past “Bad Blood,” Swift’s obsession with kittens is one thing she has in common with fellow cat lover Katy Perry. The “I Kissed a Girl” singer confirmed in April that her darling pet Kitty Purry had passed away.

“Kitty Purry crawled through my then-boyfriend's window 15 years ago, fully pregnant and seeking shelter,” Perry wrote via Instagram at the time. “Kitty, thanks for the cuddles and companionship along the way. Big thanks to my brother David and @garethwalters for being great co-parents. #kittypurryforever.”

Puppy in the Ton! Bridgerton’s Calam Lynch, More Stars Bring Pets to Set

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 10:32 AM PDT

Getting attached to your costars is common in Hollywood — even if they’re not human. Throughout the years, many stars have grown so close to the animals that they share the screen with that they want to take them home, and sometimes they do just that. In other instances — we’re looking at you, Bradley Cooper — stars bring their pets along to join them in front of the camera.

Sophie Turner is among the many celebs who fell in love with their canine costars. After direwolf Lady's untimely death on Game of Thrones, the Mahlek Northern Inuit dog named Zunni was left unemployed and homeless. However, Turner had bonded with her so much on set that she jumped at the opportunity to adopt her.

"Growing up I always wanted a dog, but my parents never wanted one," she revealed to Coventry Telegraph in 2013. "We kind of fell in love with my character's direwolf, Lady, on set. … We knew Lady died and they wanted to rehome her. My mum persuaded them to let us adopt her.”

Meanwhile, after Justin Theroux rescued pit bull Kuma, he was determined to get her onscreen. He did just that in Disney+’s remake of Lady and the Tramp. “You blink, you might miss her, but she’s in the pound scene,” he said on Good Morning America in October 2019. The activist also shared his dog’s “thoughts” on the role on his Instagram account.

“Hey guys, it’s me Kuma… Soooo… it’s me and my Dad’s LAST day working on @ladyandthetramp … this project and this Part (Pound dog #1, which is temporary bc @disneyplus promised me a real character name) anyway, this part rrrrealllly took it out of me (I’m method, which I know has been tough on everyone, so thank you) but I am VERY excited to show you all of my hard work,” Theroux captioned a photo of Kuma in the recording studio. “I’m gonna take a week off to reconnect with myself before i start the Oscar slash awards push or whatever blah blah… so may not be posting much. Peace and Love to all my fans, without you i would be nothing.”

Lily Collins, for her part, relocated to Paris to film Netflix's Emily in Paris and was able to bring her faithful pup, Redford, for the duration of filming.

"You know what's funny, France is so welcoming with dogs in that you can bring them everywhere [to] restaurants, anywhere," the To the Bone star revealed during a January 2022 appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Show. "I mean, he's a human, let's be real. So, Charlie [McDowell, her husband] brought him over on his first international flight."

Inside Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' Amicable Post-Split Relationship

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 10:27 AM PDT

Keeping it cordial! Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have managed to stay close after ending their marriage in 2000 — and their friendly relationship is the definition of coparenting goals.

The Die Hard star and Moore tied the knot in 1987 after meeting at the premiere for the buddy cop film Stakeout, which starred Moore’s then-fiancé Emilio Estevez. The Ghost star was previously married to singer Freddy Moore from 1981 to 1985. After their wedding, Willis and Demi welcomed three daughters: Rumer in 1988, Scout in 1991, and Tallulah in 1994.

The former couple announced their separation in June 1998 and filed for divorce two years later. When they submitted their paperwork in October 2000, their divorce was finalized the same day. Later that year, Willis admitted that he didn’t know exactly what went wrong in their marriage.

“I still love Demi. We’re very close,” the Unbreakable actor explained to Rolling Stone. “We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we're probably as close now as we ever were. We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside … It's difficult to live your life and marriage under a magnifying glass, which is what happens to movie star couples.”

While the exes may have experienced their ups and downs during their romantic relationship, their children were impressed with the way they’ve been able to stay a tight-knit family after the split.

“I'm so thankful and grateful that my parents made such an effort at that time,” Rumer revealed to Larry King in March 2015 after both her parents had remarried. Bruce exchanged vows with model Emma Heming in March 2009 and Demi was married to Ashton Kutcher from 2005 to 2013. “They always made an effort to do all of the family events still together and made such an effort to still have our family be as one unit, as opposed to two separate things, which I think really made an impact.”

Bruce and Demi raised eyebrows in April 2020 when fans discovered that they were quarantined with each other and their daughters amid the global coronavirus outbreak. Tallulah shared a photo of the family posed in matching green pajamas and revealed that they had been staying together “for 27 days taking every precaution” to stay safe and healthy during the crisis.

No Hard Feelings
The Sixth Sense star admitted shortly after his divorce from Demi that he still had plenty of love for her in his heart. "We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we’re probably as close now as we ever were. We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues," he told Rolling Stone. Patrick Rideaux/Shutterstock
A Blended ‘Tribe’
After both he and his ex-wife had moved onto new loves, Bruce claimed that the two couples had become a close "tribe." Bruce and his wife explained to W magazine in 2009 that they had a "comfortable and fun" relationship with Demi and Kutcher. "It's generated a lot of interest because everyone can understand resentment and envy in the breakup of a marriage, but they don't understand how I can get along with my ex like that," Bruce said at at the time. "Demi and I made a choice to put the kids first, and we're really lucky that it turns out we all have fun together." Alex Berliner/BEI/Shutterstock
Showing Their Support
Fifteen years after their split, the exes reunited to cheer on their daughter Rumer as she competed on season 20 of Dancing With the Stars. "I wanted people here tonight who love and support me unconditionally and I really felt that," Rumer said of her parents in the audience. "I couldn’t have asked for anything else." Adam Taylor/ABC
Coparenting Goals
Bruce and Demi did everything in their power to give their daughters a positive and nurturing childhood and the hard work they did to keep the family strong was not lost on Rumer. "They always made an effort to do all of the family events still together and made such an effort to still have our family be as one unit, as opposed to two separate things, which I think really made an impact," she told Larry King in March 2015. Roasted!
Demi stole the show when she emerged as a surprise guest at her ex's Comedy Central roast in July 2018. "She was hilarious, light-hearted, and having a lot of fun on stage,” S. Mitchell Marketing exec Stefanie Mitchell told Us Weekly at the time. “She ended it with a warm tribute to Bruce, remarking that they were family and how proud she was of him. It was heartwarming ... Bruce was cracking up the entire time and smiled at her with warmness." Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock
One Big Happy Family
When the Twelve Monkeys star renewed his vows with Heming to celebrate their 10th anniversary in March 2019, the couple "wouldn't do it without" Demi there. "She welcomed me into her family like I welcomed her into ours," Heming told Us. "I have so much respect for how Bruce and Demi worked through their divorce to be able to put their children first. I learned so much from that and grew so much from watching that. It was important for her to be there." Dave Allocca/StarPix/Shutterstock; Swan Gallet/WWD/Shutterstock
Family Affair
Bruce and his daughters came together to celebrate the launch of Demi's revealing memoir, Inside Out, in September 2019. Though the book contained some heart-wrenching details about their marriage, Bruce was proud to support his ex's endeavor. Shutterstock(2)
No Regrets
In her emotional memoir, the G.I. Jane actress admitted that she was "very proud" of her divorce from Bruce. "It wasn’t easy at first, but we managed to move the heart of our relationship, the heart of what created our family, into something new that gave the girls a loving, supportive environment with both parents," she wrote. "We felt more connected than we did before the divorce." Shutterstock

The exes turned heads when it was confirmed that they had been quarantined together for four weeks amid the global coronavirus crisis. Supporting Him
In March 2022, Moore, Heming and their respective daughters released a letter announcing Willis' retirement. The Die Hard actor is struggling with aphasia, which affects cognitive abilities. "This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support," the statement read, in part. "We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him. Reflecting on the past. After Will Smith slapped Chris Rock for talking about the King Richard star's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, many stars have been outspoken about the controversy. Lamar Odom, for his part, found a connection to his previous marriage to Khloé Kardashian.

"He loves his wife. I do not condone violence against anyone," the former Los Angeles Lakers athlete, 42, captioned a Tuesday, March 29, Instagram snap of Smith, 53, and Pinkett Smith, 50, at the Academy Awards on Sunday, March 27. "@willsmith loves @jadapinkettsmith. I was told love covers a multitude of sins."

He continued: "I see everyone arguing the merits of this altercation, taking [sides], dragging them both to hell when it all boils down to love. He loves his wife. She was hurting, it is a husband's responsibility to protect his wife. That is what he vowed to God and her, he owes us ZERO explanation as to why he chose to hit @chrisrock, would I have hit him?, NO but he did what a husband is called to do. Protect his wife, from anything and anyone who causes her pain."

Odom, who was previously married to the 37-year-old Good American cofounder for four years, hoped to use Smith's actions as a "teaching moment" for his followers.

"Had I protected my wife versus mentally, emotionally and spiritually hurting her, I may still be married," the Darkness to Light author claimed.

The former NBA star was married to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum between 2009 and 2013 before she filed for divorce. Following his 2015 overdose, the reality TV star withdrew her petition amid his recovery. She eventually refiled the documents, which were finalized in December 2016.

While Kardashian — who shares daughter True, 3, with ex Tristan Thompson — has since moved on from the twosome’s whirlwind romance, Odom has continued to be candid about their marriage.

"Actually, it's really nice to hear [fan support]. It's refreshing. When you marry someone in 30 days, they'll always be connected to you somehow, someway. She'll always have a place in my heart," the Celebrity Big Brother alum exclusively told Us Weekly last month. "When I came out of the coma, she took care of me. I'm talking about a woman that wiped my backside when I couldn't do it myself. So, I'm fond of her for that. She had a lot of dignity and pride as well as I did."

The former basketball player is the latest star to speak out about the Oscars incident. During Sunday’s televised ceremony, Rock, 57, made a joke about Pinkett Smith appearing in a G.I. Jane sequel due to her shaved head. While Pinkett Smith — who has been vocal about her battle with alopecia — rolled her eyes at the joke, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum walked up on stage, smacking Rock across the face.

"Keep my wife's name out of your f–king mouth," the Will author shouted at the time. Smith has since apologized for his actions while the Grown Ups actor has yet to publicly address the matter.

"Let's use this as a teaching moment, let's learn to set boundaries, let's learn to be humble, let's learn to embrace and forgive each other in the midst of our trials and tribulations versus sitting on a throne of [judgment]," Odom concluded his social media upload. "Last I checked we (the peanut gallery 😳) do not have a heaven or hell to put anyone in. Same thing that makes you laugh will bring you to your knees. Sending good vibes only. … Love y'all for loving and supporting me."

Celebrity Couples Who Have Pranked Each Other: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, More

Posted: 30 Mar 2022 09:21 AM PDT

Gotcha! For some celebrity couples, silly pranks are a lifestyle. Whether it’s April Fools’ Day or not, they love to show their love by joking around with each other.

In 2017, Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington pulled one of the most epic pranks on his wife, Rose Leslie, whom he met while filming the HBO show.

Harington shared a clip of the April Fools’ Day prank on The Jonathan Ross show, filming his unsuspecting wife opening the refrigerator to grab a pitcher of water. A moment later, she ran from fridge screaming, falling to the floor to catch her breath.

In the refrigerator was what appeared to be a severed head in Harington’s likeness. "She pretty much told me if I ever did it again, that would be it. And I think that's marriage included," the London native said.

Other celebrity couples are known to document their pranks on social media, such as Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Reynolds is known for his sense of humor, but the Gossip Girl alum has often excelled at one-upping her husband.

The wisecracking lovebirds, who married in 2012, are often publicly joking with each other. In 2016, The Adam Project actor wished his wife a happy 29th birthday with a hilarious tweet: “Just want to wish Billy Ray Cyrus the most special, magical birthday ever. I love you with all my heart. Also, Happy Birthday to my wife.”

In 2021, Lively got her husband back by posting a photo on her Instagram Story sitting between him and Gigi Hadid for the supermodel’s birthday. “Happy birthday @gigihadid,” she wrote. “I think you and I make a much better couple.”

'Sopranos' Alum Paul Herman Dies on His 76th Birthday

Always in our hearts. Hollywood mourned the loss of icons such as Betty White and John Madden in the final days of 2021 — and unfortunately, 2022 also came with celebrity deaths that have fans reeling.

The sports world lost a football great in Dan Reeves who passed away on January 1. The 77-year-old Georgia native appeared in nine Super Bowls during his career — winning once as a player and once as an assistant coach.

As one of the winningest coaches in the league's history, his loss was felt near and far. "The football world lost a heckuva coach and man today in Dan Reeves," former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway said in a statement on January 1. "Dan was a winner and I owe a lot to him. My heart goes out to Pam and the entire Reeves family."

One day later, the Christian music industry lost a beloved musician Jay Weaver. His former Big Daddy Weave bandmate and brother, Mike Weaver, confirmed his passing following COVID-19 complications. Jay was 42.

"Thank you so much for all your prayers for my brother," Mike said in a statement on January 2, after Jay was hospitalized with the virus a few days prior. "You have walked with him through a huge fight, and I'm so sorry to bring this news but I'm also excited to celebrate where he is right now. My brother Jay went to be with Jesus just a couple hours ago due to complications due to COVID-19 on top of everything else that he already had going on."

He continued: “The Lord used [Jay] in such a might way out on the road for so many years … I believe even though COVID may have taken his last breath, Jesus was right there to catch him. My heart’s broke for my family, but we all just really wanted to thank you for walking with us through so much for so long.”

On January 5, the Korean film world mourned the death of a young star in Kim Mi-soo, who passed away at age 29.

"Kim suddenly left us on January 5," the late performer's agency, Landscape Entertainment, said in a statement translated by the publication Korea JoongAng Daily. "The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness. Please refrain from reporting false rumors or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace."
