| Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Relationship Timeline Posted: 11 Mar 2022 04:34 PM PST Sometimes the best romances start off as friendships! While Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's new relationship may come as a surprise to many, the pair have known each other for years. After Barker spent time with Kardashian at her mom Kris Jenner's Palm Springs, California, home in January 2021, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair were dating. "Kourtney and Travis are officially a couple," the insider told Us. "They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple months. Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while." Shortly before the dating news broke, the Blink-182 drummer left multiple flirty comments on the Poosh founder's Instagram posts. As she shared a steamy selfie from her closet, Barker commented with a rose emoji. He dropped a mermaid emoji beneath a pic of her walking into the ocean. He also wrote, "You’re So Cool," after she shared screenshots of the 1993 film True Romance. (The rocker has previously stated that True Romance is his favorite movie, and he even named his daughter after Patricia Arquette's character, Alabama.) Kardashian and Barker's bond goes way back. The duo, who live in the same Calabasas, California, gated community, have been spotted out together on numerous occasions including in 2018 when they grabbed dinner and later attended evening church service. The musician has made appearances on her family's long-running show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, alongside his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Barker once gushed to Us exclusively about how he was attracted to the mother of three's sister Kim Kardashian when she was still Paris Hilton's assistant. "How could you not stare at Kim? Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls," he explained in October 2015. "Kim was eye candy. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn't keep my eyes off Kim!" Since the pair both live in Calabasas, they would casually get together sometimes. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker continued to show their love for each other as the couple were spotted having a very steamy makeout session on the beach. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, 42, and the Blink-182 drummer, 46, got hot and heavy in the sand in Laguna Beach, California, on Tuesday, March 8. In photos obtained by TMZ, the pair kissed as she laid on her back and he hovered over her. She also straddled him at one point. Kardashian sported a cheeky black one-piece swimsuit and jeans, while Barker went shirtless with black shorts. The Poosh founder posted a few sexy snaps from the beach getaway on Friday, March 11, including a close-up of her derriere. Kardashian also shared a video from the intimate vacation, showing Barker with his hands on her butt as they locked lips. The couple then ran into the ocean holding hands and took a dip. Us Weekly confirmed in January 2021 that the duo had been dating for "a couple months." They got engaged on the beach in Santa Barbara, California, in October 2021. Kardashian and Barker have not shied away from showing off their relationship since they became an item. She opened up earlier this month about the twosome's recent sex fast. Us Weekly confirmed that the Russia native filed to end her marriage on February 9, two years after she and the entrepreneur tied the knot. Days later, Page Six reported that Julia submitted a petition for a restraining order against the Fastweb founder, alleging she felt “terrified” of him. “He has routinely berated me, calling me ‘a venomous snake,’ a ‘monster’ and a ‘liar,’ in the presence of third parties and at times, my children. One of [his] favorite epithets is to tell me to ‘go f–k yourself,'” her petition claimed. “In January 2022, I confronted [Silvio] about his abusive behavior and told him that if anyone ever heard how he acts and speaks to me, they would think he is a horrible person. In response, [he] threatened me, stating: ‘If you ever go to the press about how I treat you or the kids, I will kill you.'” Julia alleged that she “experienced severe emotional distress” throughout her relationship and because of Silvio’s supposed verbal abuse. Her daughter Miriam, whom she shares with ex-husband Yosef Hendler, provided a statement of her own, claiming that she once found her mom “crying hysterically” in their home. “I was afraid for her safety and I seriously considered calling the police,” Miriam alleged, per Page Six. “I was terrified that he was hurting her … I ran into the room and found my mother on the bathroom floor, naked, curled up on the floor and sobbing.” Along with Miriam, the My Unorthodox Life star shares Batsheva, Shlomo and Aron with Hendler. The former couple wed when Julia was 19, calling it quits as she left their strict Jewish community. In her petition, Julia alleged that Silvio insulted her youngest son over his religious beliefs. “Recently, on January 23, 2022, [Silvio] came into the bathroom while I was bathing, purple in the face and screaming, ‘I hate your children and I hate this place. … I hate Shabbos [the Sabbath] and I don’t want it in my house.'” The fashion mogul continued: “I have become an emotional wreck for fear of him returning to my home at any time of the day or night. Recently, he summarily and without cause dismissed me from our jointly owned business, cut off my credit cards and made baseless allegations against me.” Ahead of the pair’s split, Julia was made the CEO of Silvio’s model and talent agency, Elite World Group, joking to The New York Times that she was “horrible” to him while they worked together. “But I had a lot of respect for him,” Julia told the outlet in July 2021. “As sheltered as my life had been, his life had been the diametric opposite. He’d been everywhere. He’d seen everything. And when I yelled at him, he took it like a man. "To their knowledge, he has not been served with any motion seeking a restraining order and they are not aware of any grounds for such an order." Netflix (2)  “The claims against Julia Haart are not based in fact and an attempt for Silvio Scaglia to take the attention off of his own history of failed investments [La Perla, Babelgum, Yewno],” Julia’s attorney, Marty Singer, said in a statement to Us in February 2022. “In fact, the company still owned by Scaglia that has any value is the company that was run by Haart, who took over the operations of the business and as a result its valuation has increased over 5 times from $90 million to $500 million. The account that is the basis of a lawsuit is a jointly owned account, and the same account that Mr. Scaglia used to pay his own divorce lawyers. "We will note, however, that it seems Ms. Haart has not taken the time to read the company's governing documents as to who owns the stock that controls the company." The reality star's "baseless action cannot divert attention" from Silvio's own lawsuit against her regarding her alleged withdrawal of money from the company's bank account, the statement continued. "We will have more to say in the future about the need for Ms. Haart to be held legally accountable for such allegedly illegal misappropriation of company funds." "Mr. Scaglia has lived a life of respect for members of all religions, including Judaism and the Jewish tradition and history. Any suggestion or innuendo to the contrary has no factual basis and cannot be taken seriously," the insider claimed. There's "a real possibility" that Julia's "alleged act of theft will end up being referred [to] criminal authorities for investigation and, if justified, prosecution," the source claimed to Us, adding, "Someone who is guilty of theft and stealing money from a company without authority and for improper personal purposes can be guilty of a crime." Julia could be charged with a misdemeanor for "unauthorized use of a vehicle" for still having the Bentley in her possession. | Complaint Filed Against Julia Haart for Alleged 'Unauthorized Use' of Bentley Posted: 11 Mar 2022 03:22 PM PST  The drama continues. Julia Haart and Silvio Scaglia Haart are still at war over Elite World Group’s company car that is owned by SW Vestry Cars, LLC. Silvio, 63, reported the $401,500 Bentley stolen on March 4, nearly one month after he fired Julia, 50, from his company Elite World Group, according to a New York City police report exclusively obtained by Us Weekly on Friday, March 11. The filing claims that the My Unorthodox Life star has been "unauthorized" to use the vehicle since February 9, when she was let go from her estranged husband's business. Julia, who split from Silvio the same month, previously served as the CEO of Elite World Group.  The documents state that ex-employee Haart was "given ample time to return vehicle" and that after she was "served certified regarding return of vehicle" she is "still using vehicle." The Brazen author was previously given seven days' notice by SW Vestry Cars LLC — which is the company that owns and leases the vehicle — to give the car back following her termination from Elite World Group. After she didn’t hand over the vehicle, members of Silvio's team filed the police report with the New York Police Department. According to the complaint, Julia could be charged with a misdemeanor for “unauthorized use of a vehicle” for still having the Bentley in her possession. Furthermore, a source close to the situation tells Us that the Julia Haart Dynasty founder has never made lease payments on the high-end car; instead the money came from Elite World Group. However, a rep for Julia denies this claim. A source told Us on Friday that police don’t intend to arrest the TV personality but instead want to issue her a summons to appear in court on the charge of theft. An insider tells Us that the police arrived at Julia’s NYC parking garage on Friday evening to reclaim the vehicle, adding that officials sequestered a tow truck to take the car into custody after being unsuccessful in their attempt to get in touch with Julia. After determining the legalities involved, the cops left the scene and it will now be handled as a civil matter. The Bentley controversy is the latest drama to come from Julia and Silvio's messy divorce, following her surprise termination from Elite World Group last month. The designer, who is the mother for four children from a previous marriage, was let go from the company on February 9, the same day that she filed for divorce from Silvio after two years of marriage. After the couple tied the knot in 2019, the businessman named Julia the CEO of EWG and took her last name. A lawyer for the Netflix personality later claimed in a statement to Us in February that Julia owns 50 percent of the business and that the action taken to remove her from her role was "unauthorized and of no legal effect." The attorney explained in a statement on February 10 that Julia plans to "enforce all of her legal rights and remedies" after being wrongfully terminated. However, attorneys for EWG and Silvio dispute Julia's ownership share and claim in a press release that she owns less than one percent of the voting shares. The former La Perla creative director filed a petition for a restraining order against her estranged husband on February 11, according to documents obtained by Us, claiming that he has become "increasingly volatile, abusive and unhinged." | Alec Baldwin Tried to Work Out Deal to Resume ‘Rust’ Production After Shooting Posted: 11 Mar 2022 01:23 PM PST While filming his movie Rust on Thursday, October 21, Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that injured the director and killed another crew member. The incident occurred at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico. According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department, the weapon was “discharged” by the 30 Rock alum, 63, and Deadline later reported that production on the Western was paused. “Mr. Baldwin came in voluntarily to speak with investigators,” sheriff’s office spokesman Juan Ríos noted in a statement, asserting that the situation would be treated like “any other investigation.” Detectives were trying to determine “what type of projectile was discharged” as the set remained on lockdown. The victims — director Joel Souza and director of photography Halyna Hutchins — were rushed to receive medical attention after being struck. Hutchins, 42, was pronounced dead at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque. The 48-year-old filmmaker, for his part, was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center via helicopter. While his condition was initially unknown, Deadline was told by Souza’s rep that he was released from the hospital on Friday, October 22. The movie’s production company, Rust Movie Productions LLC, noted in a statement regarding the accident, “The entire cast and crew has been absolutely devastated by today’s tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Halyna’s family and loved ones. We have halted production on the film for an undetermined period of time and are fully cooperating with the Santa Fe Police Department’s investigation. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. The safety of our cast and crew is too important.” Amazon Prime’s The Boys, which is known for its violent action sequences, will also forgo live rounds. Showrunner Eric Kripke, who worked with Rust cast member Jensen Ackles on Supernatural and The Boys, announced the news on Friday via Twitter. “In [Hutchins’] memory, a simple, easy pledge: no more guns with blanks on any of my sets ever. Two days later, Svetnoy shared an emotional post in which he revealed that he “was holding [Hutchins] in my arms while she was dying. Her blood was on my hands,” he wrote via Facebook on October 24. During a September episode of the “Voices of West” podcast, the former model admitted “the best part” of her job was “just showing people who are normally kind of freaked out by guns how safe they can be and how they’re not really problematic unless put in the wrong hands.” Reed is the daughter of longtime armorer Thell Reed, who was Brad Pitt’s shooting coach on the 2007 film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. However, the 24-year-old had only worked on one movie before landing the role of head armorer on Baldwin's western. "First Hannah would like to extend her deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Halyna," the statement read, referring to Hutchins as "an inspirational woman in film who Hannah looked up to." The statement went on to allege that she had been "slandered" in the aftermath of the shooting. "Safety is Hannah’s number one priority on set. Ultimately this set would never have been compromised if live ammo were not introduced," the lawyers claimed on her behalf. "Hannah has no idea where the live rounds came from. Hannah and the prop master gained control over the guns and she never witnessed anyone shoot live rounds with these guns and nor would she permit that. They were locked up every night and at lunch and there’s no way a single one of them was unaccounted for or being shot by crew members. Hannah still, to this day, has never had an accidental discharge." Though there have been reports that there were two accidental discharges in other situations on set, Gutierrez Reed's lawyers allege that others were at fault. "The first one on this set was the prop master and the second was a stunt man after Hannah informed him his gun was hot with blanks," they alleged. "Hannah was hired on two positions on this film, which made it extremely difficult to focus on her job as an armorer," they said in the October 29 statement. "She fought for training, days to maintain weapons, and proper time to prepare for gunfire but ultimately was overruled by production and her department. The whole production set became unsafe due to various factors, including lack of safety meetings. This was not the fault of Hannah." Davis’ post, which the actor shared via his Instagram account on November 2, claimed “the story being spun of us being overworked and surrounded by unsafe, chaotic conditions is bulls—t.” Davis stated that she “never worked more than a 12.5-hour shoot day,” saying that only happened once and “most days” were under the 12-hour mark. She recalled the day that Hutchins died, saying, “We had come off a 12-hour turnaround after an 11-hour shoot day,” noting they had a “56-hour weekend right before” the prolonged day. “No one was too tired to do their jobs,” she said. She refuted claims that the producers on the film didn’t care about their crew, writing, “They were some of the most approachable and warm producers I’ve ever worked with.” Davis explained that “concerns were heard and addressed” by the producers. In a clip from the December 2021 special, Baldwin cried while reflecting on what went wrong on set. "The trigger wasn't pulled. I didn't pull the trigger," he said. "I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them. Never. I have no idea [how a bullet got in there]. Someone put a live bullet in a gun. A bullet that wasn't even supposed to be on the property." Baldwin went on to say the incident was the "worst thing" that's ever happened to him, explaining, "Because I think back and I think, 'What could I have done?'" ABC News  Baldwin shared a two-page letter via Instagram in December 2021 that was written by the Rust crew, which defended the film’s production. The writers of the note clarified that the note had "not been sanctioned or influenced in any way by the producers,” but was intended to "express a more accurate account" of their "workplace tragedy." The letter stated that Hutchins was the “heart of the production” and “losing her hurt every single one of us." "We are hurting from the loss of our togetherness, our spirit, and the loss of our labor,” the message continued. “We are hurting for our friends that have been targeted by the public as they themselves grieve." While those who worked on the film said the production had its challenges, “the descriptions of Rust as a chaotic, dangerous, and exploitative workplace are false and distract from what matters the most: the memory of Halyna Hutchins, and the need to find modern alternatives to outdated industry firearm and safety practices.” imageSPACE/Shutterstock  Police sought a warrant to obtain the Boss Baby actor's cell phone in December 2021, according to Deadline, requesting the device to determine whether there might be "any evidence relating to the death investigation of Halyna Hutchins." The Selfish author elaborated on her caption in a tweet on Friday, sharing a scene from the 2010 movie The Town. "I need your help. Kourtney Kardashian confirmed that her fiancé, Travis Barker, will appear on her family’s new reality show — but she still plans to keep some things to herself. “I definitely hold my relationship really close,” the Poosh founder, 42, told Variety in an interview published on Friday, March 11. “It's so sacred to me and I am very protective of it. I think I've learned a lot of lessons. There is a lot of us on there, and we've had such a good time doing it because we have such a good time when we're together, but I definitely want to protect it as much as I can. But also, this is my life.” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum was responding to a question about whether her fiancé, 46, would be the “center” of her story line on the upcoming Hulu series The Kardashians. It's easy to understand why they'd keep their hangouts on the down-low when remembering their high-profile romance. The pair first connected in 2002 on the set of the ill-fated Gigli. The two played gangsters who fall in love while attempting to kidnap a neurodivergent man. | Jen Shah Wants 'RHOSLC' Excluded From Trial Because It's 'Fabricated' Posted: 11 Mar 2022 12:12 PM PST Jen Shah was indicted for her alleged role in a long-running telemarketing scheme while filming season 2 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — and all eyes are on the Bravo star as she faces up to 50 years in prison. Bravo viewers met Shah during season 1 of RHOSLC, which filmed in 2019 and aired in 2020. She quickly became a polarizing character on the franchise, with fans questioning her job and need for several assistants. "People will come to me and I'll invest in their companies, so we have a got a lot of different investments, all different kinds of things," Shah said of her career on Access Hollywood's "Housewives Nightcap" in November 2020. "I've been able to do it because what I've been able to carve out, the niche I've been able to carve out in the direct response marketing world." Not long after production began on season 2 of RHOSLC, which also stars Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow and Mary Cosby, news broke on March 30 that Shah and one of her assistants who appeared on the show, Stuart Smith, were arrested in Utah. "Jennifer Shah, who portrays herself as a wealthy and successful businessperson on 'reality' television, and Stuart Smith, who is portrayed as Shah's 'first assistant,' allegedly generated and sold 'lead lists' of innocent individuals for other members of their scheme to repeatedly scam," Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said in a press release. "In actual reality and as alleged, the so-called business opportunities pushed on the victims by Shah, Smith, and their co-conspirators were just fraudulent schemes, motivated by greed, to steal victims' money. Now, these defendants face time in prison for their alleged crimes." HSI Special Agent-in-Charge Peter C. Fitzhugh claimed that Shah and Smith "built their opulent lifestyle at the expense of vulnerable, often elderly, working-class people." "Shah and Smith objectified their very real human victims as 'leads' to be bought and sold, offering their personal information for sale to other members of their fraud ring," Fitzhugh said. "Working with our partners at the NYPD and the United States Attorney's Office, SDNY, and with the assistance of HSI Salt Lake City, HSI New York worked to ensure that Shah and Smith will answer for their alleged crimes. As a result, their new reality may very well turn out differently than they expected." A source told Us Weekly at the time that Shah is "embarrassed" by the scandal, which included NYPD detectives, Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York working together. "Jen is really humiliated that all of this is happening in the public eye and that it will be shown on Bravo," the source told Us on March 31, noting at the time that Shah hasn't "been talking to her castmates or friends" following her arrest. While they were indicted in March 2021, the case dates back to 2019 and 10 others — Anthony Cheedie, Chad Allen, Shane Hanna Cameron Brewster, Kevin Handren, Joseph Ciaccio, Joseh Minetto, Joseph Depaola, Derek Larkin and Mattie Cirilo — who were previously charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. Both the Bravo star and her assistant face a maximum sentence of 30 years for the wire fraud charges and an additional 20 years for the money laundering charges. The women were completely shocked when Jen was taken away,” the source told Us, noting that the group was gearing up for a trip to Colorado at the time. Another source told Us on March 31 that the cast “resumed filming after Jen’s arrest” without her. “Jen’s future this season remains unclear. If she will go back to filming or not, no one is really sure, she hasn’t resumed filming yet,” the source said at the time. The judge set the following conditions for her and Smith: must commit no federal offense upon release, must appear as required, no traveling outside of Utah with the exception of New York City court, no international travel, no contact with co-defendants and no engagement in telemarketing. They were subsequently seen leaving the Utah court and ignored all reporters' questions as they headed to their cars. Bravo  Shah was set to be arraigned virtually on March 31 but couldn’t dial in because too many people were on the line. The government described the scandal as a $5,000,000 money laundering scheme. It's not insubstantial,” the judge said. “I’m going to release her on the following conditions: I am going to require a personal recognizance bond of $1 million. I am going to require $250,000 to secure that bond in cash or property. She will have one week to comply." Shah’s lawyer then asked for two weeks to secure the bond, which the judge approved, but noted that Shah must sign the $1 million personal recognizance bond by the end of the day. Other conditions of her bail included no drug use or excessive alcohol, not being allowed to open any bank accounts and continued mental health treatments. Bravo  The Bravo star’s attorney told the court that Shah doesn’t own her home — which was labeled as “Jen’s Chalet” on the series — or any real property. The government also alleged that she has not willingly disclosed her assets amid the investigation. One that everyone will want to see unfold,” the insider said. “It’s ratings gold. They're going to use as much footage as they can that they're legally allowed to use.” Fred Hayes/Bravo  Shah filed a motion to dismiss her case, but it was denied by the judge in August 2021, Us confirmed. In her initial ask, she was hoping charges would be dismissed. Additionally, her attorney, Daniel R. Alonso, along with colleagues Henry W. Asbill and Michael S. Chum, announced their resignation. Shah has retained attorney Priya Chaudhry, of ChaudhryLaw PLLC, to represent her in the case moving forward, according to the court documents. In the moments before she was taken into custody, Shah told her RHOSLC castmates that she was unable to go on a trip with them to Vail, Colorado, because her husband was suffering from a medical emergency. “I have some bad news,” she told costarGay as the cameras rolled pre-departure. “I just got a phone call and Sharrieff Sr.’s in the hospital. He has internal bleeding, so I need to go.” After telling Gay that the doctors weren’t “sure if they’re going to need to do surgery,” she shared the bad news with Rose, Barlow and Jennie Nguyen, who were on the bus getting ready to leave. Nearly 15 minutes later, the authorities pulled into the parking lot of Gay’s beauty clinic. “Is this a prank?” Rose asked. “Is Jen playing a prank on us, though?” Andrew Peterson/Bravo  During a November 2021 episode of RHOSLC, Shah's costars were left in shock after Homeland Security showed up looking for her. "Other than our families, there was seven people that knew we were meeting at Beauty Lab today. I can't imagine anyone here would turn Jen in, but this looks really sus[picious]," Lisa Barlow noted in a confessional after Whitney Rose suggested that "someone told" the authorities where to find Shah. "I don't know anything, but I have a lot of questions around, like, Jen's lifestyle," Rose continued. "It intrigues me where she gets all of her money and all of her things from." Meredith Marks said in a FaceTime call with the cast that she was "not surprised" by the arrest, adding, "Too many things didn't add up and I've suspected that something was going on for a while. And now, it's validated that I was right [and] I'm not crazy. That's the bottom line." Chad Kirkland/Bravo(3)  In November 2021, Joseph Ciaccio, who was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing in 2019, was sentenced to time served. According to attorney Ronald Richards, Ciaccio received the sentence because a recent car accident left him paraplegic. "Judge was very compassionate about it and did not follow the government recommendation and sentenced him below guidelines," Richards tweeted. Courtesy of Jen Shah/Instagram  Smith, the assistant who was arrested and charged with Shah, changed his plea in November 2021 after initially pleading not guilty. “He pleaded guilty to three counts: conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering and obstruction of justice,” Richards told Us at the time. “He admitted to hiding ownership and money, defrauding elderly people and lying to the Federal Trade Commission in a deposition, which constituted perjury." Smith will be sentenced in March 2022 after his former boss' trial. He faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. Bravo  Following the release of The Housewife & the Shah Shocker, a documentary that explored Shah's legal issues with interviews from alleged victims and government agents, the Bravo personality requesting that her charges.Shah's legal team claimed that the ABC News doc would ruin her chance at an unbiased jury pool because everyone could access The Housewife & the Shah Shocker ahead of her trial."Ms. Shah respectfully requests that the Court grant her leave to file a motion to dismiss the indictment," the court documents obtained by Us in December read. "Given both the extensive viewership of Hulu nationwide and Ms. Shah’s public notoriety, a change in venue would not protect Ms. Shah’s rights, nor would alternative remedies such as a detailed voir dire or emphatic jury instructions." The U.S. Attorney responded to the motion stating that there was no basis to drop the legal case, to which Shah's attorneys called out the government officials that participated in the Hulu project. "Make no mistake, the Government cannot shift the blame to Hulu or ABC News for the manner in which the final program was edited," the RHOSLC star's response argued. "The Government and its agents publicly expressed their opinions to the press about a pending case, therefore the Government is fully accountable for all that followed. Like any wrongdoer, the Government is entirely responsible for the entire damage caused by its violation of the rules." Fred Hayes/Bravo  In December 2021, a source exclusively told Us that the drama of the past year had "put a strain on" Jen's marriage to Sharrieff Shah. "It's been a very stressful time," the insider explained. Despite the difficulty, however, the duo were still trying to make it work. "[Coach Shah] is there for Jen and is supporting her through all of this," the source said. "They have a lot of love for each other. They've been through therapy, which really helped, and now, they are stronger than where they were months ago." Bravo/YouTube  In December 2021, Jen filed to have her case dismissed. In court documents obtained by Us Weekly, she requested her case be dismissed on the basis that the new Hulu documentary, The Housewife & the Shah Shocker, violated her right to a fair trial. Jen’s legal team argued that there won’t be an “untainted jury pool” with the documentary is available for anyone to watch ahead of the March 2022 trial. Judge Sidney H. Stein denied the request. According to Richards, Shane Hanna — who is one of the 10 other people who were charged in connection with the case back in 2019 — entered a guilty plea in December 2021 after previously pleading not guilty. Hanna pleaded guilty to eight counts of superseding information to wire fraud conspiracy, money laundering, device access fraud, aggravated identity theft, false statements on loan apps and wire fraud. "This is clearly a plea bargained deal," Richards tweeted, adding that the plea could have negative effects for Jen. "These charges are more severe then Stuart Smith's plea bargain and have a mandatory minimum on the aggravated identify theft." Courtesy Jen Shah/Instagram  The Housewife’s legal team is gearing up for court, and they have specific demands when it comes to RHOSLC. “Any use of clips from the RHOSLC at the trial of Ms. Shah, either in the government’s case-in-chief or during cross-examination of the defense’s case, would have to fall under one of the exceptions to the hearsay rule of evidence, as they are, by definition, out-of-court statements,” court documents obtained by Us in February 2022 stated. The defense also submitted nearly 40 questions for the potential jury, including multiple queries about each prospective juror's knowledge of the reality series. Natalie Cass/Bravo  While Jen's team is preparing their side of the story, the government is working on theirs, according to court documents obtained by Us in February 2022. “The Government intends to offer evidence [of fraud] in the form of financial records, summary charts, and limited testimony regarding those records, charts, as well as testimony by percipient witnesses with knowledge of the defendant’s disposition of the criminal proceeds,” the latest filing reads. Natalie Cass/Bravo  In March 2022, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams asked the judge to reject Jen's previous subpoena for documents, video footage and communications related to the ABC News documentary The Housewife & the Shah Shocker. "There is no basis to conclude that the materials sought constitute relevant, admissible evidence," Williams wrote in a letter. "Indeed, certain of the defendant’s improperly overbroad requests, which seem to potentially encompass footage of the defendant and others who were involved in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, are particularly ironic in light of her position that such materials are inadmissible." One month earlier, Jen's legal team subpoenaed ABC News for all video footage related to the documentary, including everything that was unaired. In a motion to quash the subpoena, the network argued that Jen has no right to the footage, noting that the requested material is protected because of journalist's privilege. Williams' letter was written in support of that motion. "The Court should not permit the defendant’s attempted fishing expedition seeking broad categories of documents, communications, and video footage absent a showing of specificity, relevance, and admissibility, none of which the defendant can establish," he concluded. "Accordingly, the motion to quash should be granted." Jen's team fired back with a memo opposing ABC's motion to reject the subpoena, claiming that the request for Shah Shocker materials isn't hypocritical because the footage allegedly includes statements from witnesses. "Meanwhile, RHOSLC is a show—that is, a deliberately-edited, Hollywood-fabricated fantasy, loosely based on real people and designed to draw millions of viewers into outrageous episodes manufactured by editors," the memo argued. "The RHOSLC clips are devoid of evidentiary value, as they do not relate to any material fact at issue in Ms. Shah’s case, whereas the subpoena at issue seeks statements made by actual witnesses." Prince Harry will not return to the U.K. for an upcoming event in honor of his late grandfather Prince Philip. The news came as Queen Elizabeth II decided to skip the approaching Commonwealth Day Service following her COVID-19 battle. A spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed to Us Weekly on Friday, March 11, that Harry, 37, will not travel to his native country for the Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Philip, which is set to take place on March 29. However, the prince hopes to visit the queen, 95, as soon as possible. Earlier on Friday, Buckingham Palace announced that the monarch will not attend the Commonwealth Day Service on Monday, March 14. "After discussing the arrangements with the royal household, the queen has asked the Prince of Wales to represent Her Majesty at the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey on Monday," a statement to Us read. "The queen will continue with other planned engagements, including in person audiences, in the week ahead." The statement noted that Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince William and Duchess Kate will be present at the Commonwealth Day Service in the queen's absence. The sovereign's Commonwealth Day message will also "be distributed in the usual way." The service honoring Philip will take place nearly one year after his death in April 2021 at age 99. While his funeral was scaled back due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Thanksgiving event will allow representatives from charities and organizations that the Duke of Edinburgh worked with during his life to pay tribute to him. Harry moved to California with wife Meghan Markle — with whom he shares son Archie, 2, and daughter Lilibet, 9 months — in 2020 following the couple's royal exit. He previously returned to the U.K. for Philip's funeral in April 2021 and the Princess Diana statue unveiling in July 2021. However, Harry applied in January for judicial review of a Home Office decision that he could not personally fund police protection for his family while in England. His legal spokesperson said in a statement at the time that the Sussexes "are unable to return to his home" without proper security. As for the queen, she has reduced her duties since testing positive for COVID-19 in February. She held her first in-person meeting since her diagnosis on Monday, March 7. Though they haven't always been with each other physically, Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song have shared some major life experiences together. The Home Alone actor and the Suite Life of Zack and Cody alum met while costarring in the film Changeland, which was released in 2019. They first sparked romance rumors while the film was in production in September 2017, when they went on a double date at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. "They were spotted holding hands and being cute with each other," a source told Us Weekly at the time. Months later, they made headlines again when they took a trip to Paris with Culkin's goddaughter, Paris Jackson. While the pair have kept their relationship relatively private over the last few years, they have opened up about their love for each other in rare interviews. One year after their relationship became public, the Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior actress gushed about the former Pizza Underground frontman in a conversation with Us. | Maralee Nichols’ Requested Child Support From Tristan Thompson Revealed Posted: 11 Mar 2022 11:00 AM PST Maralee Nichols took the next step in her court battle against Tristan Thompson, requesting a hefty amount of monthly child support for their 3-month-old son, Theo. The fitness model, 31, filed the papers in Los Angeles on March 4. "With regard to child support, using Tristan's income of $9.7 million alone and Maralee's income of $0, Maralee at this time requests guideline monthly child support of $47,424," court documents seen by Us Weekly read. She also asked that the NBA star, 30, be ordered to pay her attorney fees, which exceed $1 million. The filing estimated Thompson's monthly income to be at least $810,075. Nichols, for her part, claimed that her expenses are $22,263 per month, adding, "Theo and I are living at a far depressed standard of living than Tristan." The former personal trainer alleged that before she gave birth, she spent more than $2,000 per month dining out and "expects these expenses will resume once Theo gets older and COVID-19 restrictions are lifted." She also claimed that she spends $3,500 per month on clothes, explaining, "I have made a tremendous effort to reduce my spending. Previously, my average month's expenses for clothing were in excess of $5,000 a month." Nichols went on to claim that she is living in an apartment with a roommate, while Thompson allegedly has not paid her any money yet and has a "lavish celebrity lifestyle." The Texas native then called out Jordan Craig, who shares 5-year-old son Prince with the Chicago Bulls player. She alleged in the papers that the model, 30, "is reportedly receiving at least $40,000 a month in child support from Tristan [and] leads a similarly high lifestyle, including living in a $3 million mansion in Los Angeles, driving multiple luxury vehicles, taking extravagant vacations and dressing her son in designer clothes at a young age." News broke in December 2021 that Nichols sued Thompson for child support. Us exclusively revealed that she gave birth to Theo earlier that month. The athlete confirmed in January that he is the child's father. "I take full responsibility for my actions," he wrote via his Instagram Story at the time. "Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately." Thompson also expressed his remorse to ex-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian, with whom he shares 3-year-old daughter True. "Khloé, you don't deserve this," he added. "You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years." Us confirmed in June 2021 that the off-on couple called it quits. The reality star, 37, revealed earlier this week that the paternity drama will be covered on her family's upcoming Hulu show. "I wish I never had to talk about that because it's not a fun thing to talk about," she told Variety. "But it is part of my journey in life so we will see it on the show." Although Caitlyn Jenner was a fixture for the majority of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she will not be making an appearance on the family's new Hulu series, The Kardashians. "I was there when this started from day one," the Olympian, 72, tweeted on Thursday, March 10, alongside a link to Variety's profile of her ex-wife Kris Jenner and her stepdaughters Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian. "I watched it grow." Caitlyn also reflected on her KUWTK tenure via the social media upload, writing, "Doing the show for almost 20 seasons was one of the highlights of my life. To be able to work with my family for all those years, connect with the fans, it was incredible. Happy that it continues for my family."  Variety previously confirmed earlier this week that the Big Brother VIP alum — who was married to the 66-year-old Safely founder from April 1991 to December 2014 — would not be featured on the new show. Caitlyn, who shares daughters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner with Kris, regularly appeared on KUWTK since its 2007 debut. After publicly announcing her transition in 2015, Caitlyn's journey was briefly chronicled on the I Am Cait reality TV series. "I think I was involved with 420 [episodes], something like that, starting with the kids," the Secrets of My Life author recalled of her KUWTK experience during a September 2020 YouTube video ahead of its series finale. "Kendall and Kylie were like 8 and 10 or somewhere right around there when we started. They were so young. The couple originally met during season 17 of The Bachelorette in 2021. At the time, the former bank marketing manager chose to send the California native home during week two of the competition. Thurston then formed a connection with Blake Moynes after he crashed the ABC series to win her heart. The Canada native, 31, originally appeared on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams‘ season 16 in 2020 before returning to the franchise. Three months after Thurston and Moynes got engaged on screen, they announced their decision to split. “It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways,” the Washington native wrote via Instagram in October 2021. “We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently." One month later, Us Weekly confirmed that Thurston moved on with Hersey. At the time, the bartender took to social media to defend his relationship. "Katie and I developed an incredible and deep friendship over the last half year or so.
