Staying Friends! Celebrity Exes Who Have Stayed Close Posted: 27 Mar 2022 01:50 PM PDT Love lost doesn't mean friendship lost for all famous exes! Several former celebrity couples have proven that pumping the brakes on their romance doesn't mean that they can't become friends afterward. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's post-breakup bond has become the golden standard for cordial former lovers. The A-listers got married in 1987 and finalized their divorce in 2000 after having three children: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. Two decades after their split, the pair spent part of the coronavirus pandemic together in early 2020 while quarantining alongside their daughters in Idaho. (Willis' wife, Emma Heming, later joined the exes and brought daughters Mabel and Evelyn.) "We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we're probably as close now as we ever were," the Die Hard star told Rolling Stone in 2000. "We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside." Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, meanwhile, began dating in 2003 but split in 2007. After calling it quits, the former flames costarred in 2011's raunchy comedy Bad Teacher — a film that saw the pair's characters hook up on screen. At the time of Bad Teacher's release, the "Can't Stop the Feeling" crooner said that he didn't feel awkward filming the intimate scene with Diaz. "I didn't look at it like that," he previously told Access Hollywood. "We obviously know each other, but I looked at it as a really funny, funny scene that I've never seen done before." Timberlake continued, "What I actually remember was, you know, they got to my closeup for that scene, so I was just kind of by myself — which is hard to imitate in real life. Jake [Kasdan], the director, kept yelling out, 'OK, more contorted! Uglier face! Flare your nostrils! Curl your lip up … more!' And I'm trying not to laugh." Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were also able to come out on the other side after their rocky romantic relationship, which lasted from 2006 and 2015. The exes have established a good friendship and strong coparenting dynamic for their three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign. After splitting from Sofia Richie in late 2020, Disick has spent more time with the Poosh founder, including at her sister Kim Kardashian's 40th birthday bash that October 2029. A source told Us in November 2020 that Kardashian and Disick's dynamic has changed. "Kourtney and Scott's relationship has taken a bit of shift recently — spending more time together and being more kind with each other," the insider revealed. "Scott has always loved Kourtney, and the door is open on his side in case she ever wants to take their relationship back to a romantic place." Take a look at more famous ex-lovers, such as Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie, have maintained close relationships after splitting up. ![]() The actors, who tied the knot in July 2001, announced in July 2020 they were calling it quits after nearly 20 years of marriage. Still, Gregg happily promoted his ex's memoir in February 2022. “4 words u never want to hear [from] ur ex: ‘I’m writing a memoir,’” the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. alum jokingly tweeted in February 2022 after Grey announced her book would come out the following May. “So believe me when I say this book is great. It is (like J) wise fearless & funny af & [doesn’t] pull punches.” The following month, he wished the Dirty Dancing star a happy birthday via his Instagram Story. You let love rule, right? I mean, obviously, after a breakup, it’s work — it takes some work and time, healing and reflection, et cetera. But as far as Jason and I? J. Lo's ‘Favorite Director’ Ben Affleck Filmed Her Sexy Bathtub Video Posted: 27 Mar 2022 01:49 PM PDT ![]() Self-care is key. Jennifer Lopez showed her fans how she likes to relax with a serene bath, and she even included a video, filmed by boyfriend Ben Affleck. The JLo Beauty founder, 52, told fans about her unwinding routine in her Friday, March 25, OnTheJLo newsletter. “My favorite form of self-care is taking a bath!! [To be honest,] it's the most luxurious thing I do,” she wrote. “It's a ritual for me.” The “Waiting for Tonight” singer said she loves to throw some luxurious products in the water to help her kick back. “I use all kinds of bath salts, bath milks and aromatherapy oils,” she explained. “Oh and I love throwing all different color rose petals, dried lavender, and rosemary in there too!!! Soaking keeps my skin hydrated and silky and calms me down from all the day's stimulation. I try not to be on my phone either … just pure relaxation time.” Lopez gave subscribers a visual aid to help them see how she prioritizes self-care. A sexy video shows the iHeartRadio Icon Award winner in her bathroom. She has orchids on her vanity and rose petals in the bath. She even pours some oil in the tub to make it extra luxurious. Lopez laughs and smiles at the camera as she undresses and slips into the water. The clip, set to her song “Nobody’s Watching” from the Marry Me soundtrack, was filmed by her boyfriend, 49. “This video is me being filmed by my favorite director I've ever worked with,” Lopez teased. “You can see how this makes me very happy … the company didn't hurt either.” ![]() She can be seen talking to and smiling at the camera operator. However, Affleck does not appear in the video as he subtly did for her “Marry Me” duet with Maluma. Though he didn’t make a cameo in her bath time segment, her Gigli costar showed up elsewhere in her second newsletter. While telling her OnTheJLo readers about her style tips, Lopez included a paparazzi shot of her and Affleck taken in February to show off her favorite pairing of flared, high-waisted jeans with heels. “Here I am at the Super Bowl pairing it with a white jacket and white button-down shirt for a Charlie's Angels 70's inspired classy look … with my favorite of the moment Mary Jane white Gucci Platforms!” she captioned the candid snap. Lopez also included a selfie that Affleck took of them with a couple friends in the stands at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles during the big game, which the singer called, “Super Fun!!!” Us Weekly confirmed that Affleck and Lopez reunited in May 2021, weeks after she and Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement. The pair previously dated from 2002 to 2004. ![]() In February, the New York native noted that she and her love are keeping much of their romance private, more so than they did in their younger years. “We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us," she told the New York Times. "I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that's happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that, it really does. … We hold it sacred." However, the Hustlers star has opened up with her fans via the newsletter before. "I am going to share something very special and personal with you that normally that I would only share with my inner circle," Lopez wrote in the first edition of her newsletter last month. "It's an early Valentine's Day present from Ben." She shared a link to a remixed music video of her single "On My Way" that the Tender Bar star put together. "Watching it made me think about the journey of true love, it's unexpected twists and turns, and that when it's real, it actually can last forever. This seriously melted my heart,” the mother of two explained at the time. Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 14, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Meanwhile, Affleck shares Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. |

And I was like, 'Yeah, I know. I don't know you!'" The Pennsylvania native stepped in to help the Oscar winner, which sparked their romance. "Jim came over and said, 'Please excuse my friend. He's just broken up with someone.' Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation," she gushed. "That's just kind of who he is, a really good person." Witherspoon hinted in the May 2011 issue of Elle UK that she was not expecting to find her forever with Toth. "It's an exciting feeling. [Somebody saying,] 'You're The One,'" she told the magazine. "And it's a surprise. You know, I'm surprised when people who aren't related to me see my movies. And you're surprised somebody wants to be with you because, boy, I've got a lot of quirks and wrinkles." Prior to her relationship with Toth, the Big Little Lies alum was married to Ryan Phillippe from 1999 to 2008. The exes are parents of daughter Ava and son Deacon. "I was so, so young. I was, like, ridiculously young," Witherspoon, who was 23 at the time that she wed her Cruel Intentions costar, told Elle UK of her first marriage. "I learned a lot, though. It was an excellent opportunity for me to really find out what it means to be a partner and to be in a marriage and it's not anything that I thought it was." After the Legally Blonde star made things official with Toth, Phillippe had only well-wishes for the twosome. Kylie’s Ex Tyga Supports Travis Scott at 1st Set Since Astroworld Tragedy Posted: 27 Mar 2022 11:30 AM PDT ![]() Travis Scott returned to the stage for the first time since the November 2021 Astroworld Festival tragedy, which left several fans dead after a crowd surge. "He was in a good mood. He DJ’d for a bit and also came closer to the crowd and sang a few of his songs," an eyewitness exclusively tells Us Weekly. The 30-year-old "Sicko Mode" rapper performed in Los Angeles at Darren Dzienciol and Richie Akiva's Oscars 2022 Party on Saturday, March 26. Scott — who welcomed his second child with girlfriend Kylie Jenner in February — performed shortly after midnight at the Bel Air estate party in Los Angeles. The source notes that he didn't say much into the microphone besides his musical set, but he had a special guest cheering him on. Tyga — who previously dated the 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder on and off between 2014 and 2017 — was spotted in the VIP section with his friends, listening to Scott's performance. ![]() "He stood up to listen to Travis and then would sit back down," the insider adds. The partygoer explained that Tyga seemed eager to watch Scott's return to the stage, noting, "[Tyga] could [have] left and gone to another room but he chose to stay in the main room to watch his performance." The "Aye" rapper, 32, was linked to the beauty mogul for nearly two years but remained on good terms after they called it quits in April 2017. Tyga eventually moved on with girlfriend Camaryn Swanson while the reality star started seeing Scott. "We're not friends," Jenner said of Tyga during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion in June 2021. "But we are OK. If I see him out or if I run into him anywhere, I always wish him well. I have no bad feelings toward him." The Texas native's Saturday performance marked the first time he stepped on stage since the Astroworld tragedy. Ten fans died — and more were injured — during a "mass casualty incident” following a crowd surge at his sold-out music festival in Houston. "I just want to send out prayers to the ones that was lost last night," the "Highest in the Room" performer — who also shares daughter Stormi, 4, with Jenner — tearfully explained in a series of Instagram Story videos in November 2021. "You know, my fans, like, really mean the world to me and I always just really want to leave them with a positive experience and any time I can make out, you know, anything that's going on, I'd just stop the show and, you know, help them get the help they need. I could just never imagine the severity of the situation." He continued at the time: "Everybody, continue to keep your prayers. I mean, I'm honestly just devastated and I could never imagine anything like this happening." Following the accident, officials launched an investigation into its cause. Meanwhile, Scott lost several business deals and performance opportunities. He later offered to cover the funeral expenses and further aid of the victims. |
Back On! Ashley Benson and G-Eazy’s Whirlwind Relationship Timeline Posted: 27 Mar 2022 10:45 AM PDT Love in the fast lane! Ashley Benson and G-Eazy went from zero to 60 with their romance, starting as collaborators and turning to lovers. The Pretty Little Liars alum was spotted spending time with the "Everything Will Be OK" singer weeks after Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that she'd split from Cara Delevingne. Benson and Delevingne called it quits after nearly two years together and the same month, the Spring Breakers actress was linked to G-Eazy. The Pixels star publicly acknowledged her split from the Carnival Row actress for the first time on May 13, by "liking" an Instagram post about rumors she was dating the "Let's Get Lost" musician. "Can't Ashley have friends now? STOP SAYING ASHLEY CHEATED! OR EVEN CARA! They just need friends right now more than ever," the post "liked" by Benson read. The Ratter actress and G-Eazy (real name Gerald Gillum) sparked relationship speculation after they were seen out in Los Angeles the same day, after previously teaming up in April to record a cover of Radiohead's "Creep." The pair fueled dating rumors further when they were seen kissing in a video that was posted by the Daily Mail nearly one month after their collaboration. Amid relationship speculation, a source told Us that the duo were "hanging out and seeing each other, but it's not serious." The Chronically Metropolitan actress brought G-Eazy as her date to her sister Shaylene Benson's intimate wedding the following month. The "Still Be Friends" singer, who previously dated Halsey, revealed in June 2020 that he and Ashley were collaborating again on his new album, Everything's Strange Here. The Days of Our Lives alum was spotted two months later wearing a diamond ring in August 2020, prompting fans to speculate that the lovebirds might've secretly gotten engaged. In the photos, the Ask Me If Care star had a sparkler on her left hand while grocery shopping with G-Eazy. Months later, the "I Mean It" musician gushed over Benson's talents in an October 2020 interview. "She's an exceptionally talented person in so many different spaces," G-Eazy told Entertainment Tonight at the time. "She's a special one. It just blew me away that you can have such a hidden, special talent that the world doesn't get to see as often." After months of what appeared to be a blissful romance, Us confirmed in February 2021 that they had split, with a source noting that "things took a hard turn for the worse." Later that same year, Benson and G-Eazy sparked reconciliation speculation when they were spotted out and about in L.A. together following the 2021 holiday season. Proud Daughter! Lily Collins Celebrates Phil Collins' Final Genesis Concert Posted: 27 Mar 2022 09:54 AM PDT ![]() Proud of her family! Lily Collins gushed over dad Phil Collins after he played his final concert with band Genesis and Lily’s little brother, Nic Collins. “Tonite marks the end of an era. To have witnessed this last show was truly the memory of a lifetime and an event I shall hold in my heart forever,” the Emily in Paris star, 33, wrote via Instagram on on Saturday, March 26 alongside photos of the London performance. She added, “Endlessly grateful doesn't begin to do it justice. So much love was left on that O2 stage and an even bigger amount shared between an audience who didn't want it to end. The band’s The Last Domino? Tour was their first series of concerts as a band in 14 years and is expected to be their final live performances together. Phil’s declining health has stopped him from playing the drums. A spine injury and diabetes has forced him to change up his shows. The legendary drummer sings while seated for most of his performances. “Of course, my health does change things, doing the show seated changes things,” Phil told The Guardian in September ahead of The Last Domino? Tour. “But I actually found on my recent solo tours, it didn't get in the way; the audience were still listening and responding. It's not the way I would have written it, but it's the way that it is.” He had son Nic, 20, handle the drumming, and Phil said that was the simplest change to make. “Playing with Nic, though? That's been easy," the proud papa added at the time. "He started playing with me when he was 16. If I feel that he should concentrate on something to make it better I'll mention it and he'll come back the next day and he will have done it. He doesn't need constant nudging; he pulls it together with remarkable ease.” Phil shares Nic and son Matthew, 17, with his ex-wife Orianne Cevey, who he was married to from 1999 to 2008. The Netflix star is the Grammy winner’s only child with Jill Tavelman, who he was married to from 1984 to 1996. The musician also shares son Simon, 45, and adopted daughter Joely, 49, with his first wife, Andrea Bertorelli, who he divorced after five years of marriage in 1980. Lily attended the performance with husband Charlie McDowell, who praised Nic in his Instagram Story. “My bro in law @nic_collins is truly one of the most talented musicians on the planet. My mind is blown,” the Windfall director, 38, wrote. ![]() McDowell, who married the To the Bone star in September 2021, also referred to his father-in-law with a goat emoji, meaning he considers the frontman to be the greatest of all time. “One of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen,” McDowell wrote with a mind blown emoji. He also included a clip of the thunderous applause at the 20,000-seat arena. “Basically the audience doesn’t stop clapping for a very longtime because they know they are witnessing greatness,” he captioned the clip. |

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar share 19 children: sons Joshua, John-David, Joseph, Josiah, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, Justin and Jackson, and daughters Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joy-Anna, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace and Josie. The family’s first reality series, 19 Kids and Counting, quickly became one of the most popular shows on TLC from 2008 to 2015. They later returned for a spin off, Counting On, which ran for 11 seasons before the network canceled it in June 2021. The show's end came two months after Josh was arrested on child pornography charges. Over the years, fans have watched many of the Duggar children explore their own relationships in hopes of scoring a love as strong as their parents’. Due to their conservative Christian background, the family enforces a number of strict rules when it comes to courting, or “dating with a purpose.” “Courtship is really waiting for the one God has for you and praying through the whole process,” Jim Bob explained during a 2014 Today interview. Michelle agreed, adding, “It’s really examining the person and considering, ‘Would this be the guy I want to be the father of my kids?'” Kissing, hand-holding and other physical markers of affection aren’t allowed until a couple’s wedding day. Early in the courtship process, partners must have a chaperone present on their dates. For many of the Duggar daughters, their brothers have been by their sides when getting to know their suitors. “Having that accountability really keeps things from going in the wrong direction,” the father of 19 told Today. The patriarch has also warned his children to be mindful of their text messages while courting, as he and Michelle are both looped into all of their chats. Having Jim Bob and Michelle as an example of a happy marriage has given the Duggar’s high standards when it comes to their love lives — and their parents don’t mind. “There is no failed courtship,” Michelle explained in 2014. “A parent that loves and cares for their children, they want the best relationship for their child. It’s fun to be involved in the whole process in choosing it.” Scroll down to learn more about the Duggar family’s courtship beginnings! ![]() The longtime couple met in the '80s when a mutual friend invited Michelle to her future husband's church. I looked up and said, 'Father, I can't imagine anyone better than this that you have planned for me," she told the website Love to Know. "From there, we believe our hearts were knit together." Why Lin-Manuel Miranda Will Not Attend 2022 Oscars After Multiple Nominations Posted: 27 Mar 2022 07:49 AM PDT Though two of Lin-Manuel Miranda's films earned coveted nominations at the 94th Academy Awards, he has confirmed he will be absent from the red carpet and the Dolby Theatre ceremony. "Made it to Hollywood… This weekend, my wife tested [positive emoji] for COVID," the Hamilton creator, 42, tweeted on Saturday, March 26, referring to wife Vanessa Nadal, whom he wed in 2010. "She’s doing fine. Kids & I have tested [negative emoji], but out of caution, I won’t be going to the Oscars tomorrow night." Miranda — who shares sons Sebastian, 7, and Francisco, 4, with Nadal, 39 — earned a Best Original Song nomination for Encanto's "Dos Oruguitas." The animated picture is also up for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score. The voice cast is set to belt out the film’s surprise hit "We Don't Talk About Bruno" during the Sunday, March 27, broadcast. His directorial debut, Tick, Tick… Boom!, also scored nods for Best Film Editing and Best Actor for Andrew Garfield's performance as Jonathan Larson. ![]() "Cheering for my TickTickBoom & Encanto families w my own family, alongside all of you, ALL of you," the Tony Award winner concluded his tweet. If Miranda wins an Oscar trophy during Sunday’s awards show, he will become the youngest person to become an EGOT honoree after previously collecting Emmy, Grammy and Tony statues. "I literally fell in love with the Oscars because of Disney animated movies," he gushed about his nominations to Collider earlier this month. "I was ride or die for The Little Mermaid. That was my favorite movie in my young life. And I watched the Oscars for the first time that year, because if 'Kiss the Girl' or 'Under the Sea' didn’t win, I was ready to riot as a nine-year-old. Then as a result you get to watch the Oscars. And Billy Crystal does this amazing job as the host, and it became my entry into a world of movies that just aren’t offered to kids." He continued: "I remember falling in love with Akira Kurosawa, because he got a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Oscars. And then I went to the library to go take out the two-cassette Seven Samurai from the New York Public Library, and falling in love with his work on my own terms. It became this kind of entry point into a wider world for me. So the fact that I’m here with the Disney song is wildly full circle for me, because that’s the reason I tuned in the first place." While Miranda tested negative for the coronavirus, his decision to skip the show follows the Academy's updated health and safety guidelines amid recent spikes. Per the protocols, individuals who received a positive test — within a zero to five-day window from their diagnosis — are not permitted to attend. Previous guidelines required invited guests to be fully vaccinated and take two PCR tests before the ceremony. The Mary Poppins Returns star has previously been outspoken about supporting health initiatives amid the pandemic, helping launch a vaccination site for Broadway, film and TV professionals in April 2021. "This is the first live performance I’ve seen in a year and a half. So I’m emotional today," Miranda told CBS News at the time, opening up the location which was christened with a musical number. "If you worked on Broadway, you work off Broadway, you work in the theater, you worked in the wardrobe department, if you were a stage manager, if you were a front of house staff, you were an usher, you are welcome to this incredible facility." The 2022 Oscars air on ABC Sunday, March 27, at 8 p.m. EST. |
Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Nicks and More Mourn Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins Posted: 27 Mar 2022 07:25 AM PDT Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has died. He was 50. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins,” the band wrote in a Twitter statement on Friday, March 25. “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.” Hawkins joined the music group — which is also comprised of Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee and Franz Stahl — in 1997 after William Goldsmith‘s departure. Together, the band has released 10 albums with hit songs including “Best of You,” “Love Dies Young” and “This Is a Call.” The group had been on tour in South America and were set to perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards next month. The Texas native is survived by his wife Alison Hawkins — who he wed in 2005 — and their three children: Oliver, Annabelle and Everleigh. “When I was 25, I never thought, 'I’m going to be a suburban dad someday,'” the late songwriter told Billboard in November 2019. “But that’s what I am, so I can’t write about being young and going to clubs, and I’m not very political. It’s all sort of tongue-in-cheek though.” While further details of Taylor’s death have not been revealed, several of music’s biggest names have honored the “Everlong” performer’s legacy. “I don't have the words. Sad to write this or to never see you again,” Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, wrote via Instagram on Friday. “I'll never forget Laguna Beach days when I was a trash man playing in a punk rock band and you were playing with Alanis [Morissette]. You'd come watch me play in dive bars and be like, ‘kid you're a star.’ And I thought you were crazy but you gave me so much hope and determination.” The Barker Wellness founder — who is set to perform at the 2022 Oscars on Sunday, March 27 — added a second tribute via Instagram Story, writing, “This one hurts.” Full House alum John Stamos, for his part, recalled the last messages the pair exchanged. “This was Taylor Hawkins’ last text to me: ‘Ya We've yet to fully have a hang – Got a put that s–t together before we die,'” the Grandfathered alum, 58, tweeted early on Saturday, March 26. “Wise words from my friend – put that s–t together! "We've been best friends for over a decade before we started dating, and so there was a pretty easy transition into going into dating," Fisher exclusively told Us in June 2019. New Ink! Kim K. Shares Pic of Pete Davidson's Tattoo: 'My Girl Is a Lawyer' Posted: 26 Mar 2022 02:22 PM PDT Leaving her mark. Kim Kardashian revealed another one of Pete Davidson‘s tattoo tributes. The KKW Beauty founder, 41, revealed the fresh ink on Saturday, March 26. “My girl is a lawyer,” reads a tattoo on Davidson’s collarbone. Though she didn’t specify that it was her boyfriend, 28, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum recently described the tattoo to Ellen DeGeneres. "He has a few tattoos, a few cute ones that he got [for me]," Kardashian said during a March 16 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She revealed that there are a few pieces of body art that the Saturday Night Live star dedicated to her since they got together in fall 2021, but there’s one that she prefers to the rest. “I think my favorite one, it says here,” the Skims founder said gesturing to her collarbone, “it says, ‘My girl is a lawyer.’ And that one’s really cute.” ![]() Kardashian — who was declared legally single earlier this month after filing for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021 — has been open about her journey to become a lawyer after registering with the California State Bar to study law in 2018. She announced in December 2021 that she passed the “baby bar” exam on her fourth try. "The experience taught me so much and I've never worked so hard on something in my life," Kardashian told Hong Kong Vogue in their April 2022 cover story about finally passing the exam. "I had to be really diligent about studying and dedicated every spare minute I had to it." She continued: "I'm very passionate about Criminal Justice Reform and I want to advocate for those who I feel they were wrongfully convicted. I dream of one day creating a successful law firm." While the California native’s favorite tat of Davidson’s honors her big goals, that’s not the King of Staten Island star’s only tattoo for his girlfriend. Kardashian, who shares four children with West, teased that Davidson has “a few” pieces of art on his body in her honor, but her name needed a marking more permanent than ink. "But the 'Kim' one is not actually a tattoo. It's a branding," she told DeGeneres. "I think he was just like, 'I want something that's there, that I can't get rid of [it like] my tattoos,’" Kardashian said, adding that her beau didn't want to be able to cover or remove her name. "[He] just wanted it there as like, a scar." Other tattoos, however, are not exactly forever. Davidson explained that he is removing many of his arm and neck tattoos for his acting career. “I didn’t think that they would put me in stuff — like the movie business. I thought after SNL, it’s a wrap,” the New York native joked during a May 2021 appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. He continued, “It takes like three hours — you have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos, because for some reason, people in movies, they don't have them that much.” Davidson added that he had a key piece of advice to others looking to get a lot of ink: "If you're going to get tattoos, just make sure you really, really want it — and aren't on mushrooms." |

Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins Had Chest Pain Before Death, Officials Say Posted: 26 Mar 2022 01:06 PM PDT Before Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins died, he allegedly suffered chest pain. Hawkins was on tour with his Grammy-nominated band in Bogotá, Colombia, at the time of his death. The city's District Secretary of Health has since released a statement surrounding the circumstances. Per a translation of the statement, which was released via the department's verified Twitter account on Saturday, March 26, the local emergency center received a report about a patient — who was staying in a hotel — that had pain in his chest. An ambulance was then dispatched to the scene where Hawkins was found unresponsive. A medical professional attempted to resuscitate the drummer to no avail. The patient was declared dead on the scene shortly after. Per protocol, the city then launched an investigation to determine the cause of death, which has yet to be confirmed. ![]() The "Everlong" performers — which also includes band members Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee and Franz Stahl — confirmed Hawkins' death in a social media statement on Friday night. "The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins," the band wrote in a Twitter statement. "His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time." Hawkins is survived by his wife Alison Hawkins — whom he married in 2005 — and their three children: Oliver, Annabelle and Everleigh. After news of the Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders frontman's death broke, several renowned musicians paid tribute to the late rocker. "I don't have the words. Sad to write this or to never see you again," Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, wrote via Instagram at the time "I'll never forget Laguna Beach days when I was a trash man playing in a punk rock band and you were playing with Alanis [Morissette]. You'd come watch me play in dive bars and be like, 'kid you're a star.' And I thought you were crazy but you gave me so much hope and determination." The "All the Small Things" performer, 46, added: "Years later we toured together with Blink and Foo's in Australia and I have the best memories of smoking cigarettes in the restroom of flights we were on together and watching your set every night. To say I'll miss you my friend isn't enough. Till the next time we talk drums and smoke in the boys room … Rest In Peace Musician Finneas, for his part, also shared a tribute, tweeting, "So heartbroken to hear about Taylor Hawkins' passing, what an incredible talent, who didn't also need to be so kind and generous and cool but was all those things too anyway. The world was so lucky to have his gifts for the time that it did, Rest In Peace.” |
Dancing! Parades! Regattas! See William and Kate's Royal Tour Photos Posted: 26 Mar 2022 12:50 PM PDT To mark Queen Elizabeth II's 70th year on the throne, Prince William and Duchess Kate embarked on an overseas trip to tour the Caribbean. "Throughout the tour, The Duke and Duchess will meet a wide variety of people from each country, including children, young people and families, frontline workers, service personnel, leaders from government, business and the charity sector as well as inspiring conservationists, and the early years workforce," the royal family's official Instagram account stated on Sunday, March 20, the second day of their trip. "Their [program] will also touch on a number of themes that are close to Their Royal Highnesses' hearts and a key focus of their work with The Royal Foundation, including The Earthshot Prize, mental health and the importance of early childhood to lifelong outcomes." During their time in Belize, the trip took an unexpected turn when William, 39, and Kate, 40, canceled their first outing at a sustainable cocoa farm in Indian Creek. The decision came amid protests about indigenous rights and colonialism. Ahead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s arrival, local villagers staged a protest and noted their frustration with the royals’ arrival on their land. At the time, village youth leader Dionisio Shol explained why William and Kate’s helicopter arrival created an issue for the locals. "For us it really hits right at home because of the treatment. The organizer said we had to let them use the football field and that people were coming to our village and it had to look good. But they didn’t want to divulge who,” Shol told the Daily Mail. "That's where the first issue arose. These are high-profile people, we respect them, but they also have to be giving respect to the community leaders. Giving community leaders commands did not sit well with the community." The palace responded to the concerns with their own statement to The Guardian, explaining, "We can confirm that due to sensitive issues involving the community in Indian Creek, the visit has been moved to a different location. Further details will be provided in due course." Following the delay, William and Kate continued with their travels in both Belize and to other countries in the British Commonwealth. “Catherine and I are delighted to be here in Belize at the beginning of our first official visit to the Caribbean. I am honoured to convey the very warmest wishes from my grandmother, The Queen of Belize, on the occasion of her Platinum Jubilee,” the duo’s official Instagram account stated on Monday, March 21. “In our short time here, Catherine and I have been lucky enough to witness some of the extraordinary biodiversity that you so lovingly nurture here in your jungles and your reefs.” The U.K. native concluded: “Alongside this environmental diversity, yesterday we also had a taste of Belize's wonderful cultural diversity – from Mayan chocolate to Garifuna drumming. And yes, you even got us dancing!” William and Kate, who share children Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3, also used their platform to highlight how the government of Belize is attempting to combat climate change. “Belize is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world,” their social media account shared alongside a video of William and Kate diving at South Water Caye on Tuesday, March 22. “While the effects of climate change are evident, the Government of Belize and communities across the country deserve huge recognition for their efforts to restore this incredible marine environment – with a commitment to protect 30% of it by 2030.” Scroll down for highlights from William and Kate’s Caribbean tour: ![]() The twosome coordinated during their arrival by wearing blue hues as a nod to the country’s royal color.
