Several former celebrity couples have proven that pumping the brakes on their romance doesn't mean that they can't become friends afterward. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's post-breakup bond has become the golden standard for cordial former lovers. The A-listers got married in 1987 and finalized their divorce in 2000 after having three children: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. Two decades after their split, the pair spent part of the coronavirus pandemic together in early 2020 while quarantining alongside their daughters in Idaho. (Willis' wife, Emma Heming, later joined the exes and brought daughters Mabel and Evelyn.) "We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we're probably as close now as we ever were," the Die Hard star told Rolling Stone in 2000. "We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside." Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, meanwhile, began dating in 2003 but split in 2007. After calling it quits, the former flames costarred in 2011's raunchy comedy Bad Teacher — a film that saw the pair's characters hook up on screen. At the time of Bad Teacher's release, the "Can't Stop the Feeling" crooner said that he didn't feel awkward filming the intimate scene with Diaz. "I didn't look at it like that," he previously told Access Hollywood. "We obviously know each other, but I looked at it as a really funny, funny scene that I've never seen done before." Timberlake continued, "What I actually remember was, you know, they got to my closeup for that scene, so I was just kind of by myself — which is hard to imitate in real life. Jake [Kasdan], the director, kept yelling out, 'OK, more contorted! Uglier face! Flare your nostrils! Curl your lip up … more!' And I'm trying not to laugh." Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were also able to come out on the other side after their rocky romantic relationship, which lasted from 2006 and 2015. The exes have established a good friendship and strong coparenting dynamic for their three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign. After splitting from Sofia Richie in late 2020, Disick has spent more time with the Poosh founder, including at her sister Kim Kardashian's 40th birthday bash that October 2029. A source told Us in November 2020 that Kardashian and Disick's dynamic has changed. "Kourtney and Scott's relationship has taken a bit of shift recently — spending more time together and being more kind with each other," the insider revealed. "Scott has always loved Kourtney, and the door is open on his side in case she ever wants to take their relationship back to a romantic place." Jennifer Lopez showed her fans how she likes to relax with a serene bath, and she even included a video, filmed by boyfriend Ben Affleck. The JLo Beauty founder, 52, told fans about her unwinding routine in her Friday, March 25, OnTheJLo newsletter. “My favorite form of self-care is taking a bath!! [To be honest,] it's the most luxurious thing I do,” she wrote. “It's a ritual for me.” The “Waiting for Tonight” singer said she loves to throw some luxurious products in the water to help her kick back. “I use all kinds of bath salts, bath milks and aromatherapy oils,” she explained. “Oh and I love throwing all different color rose petals, dried lavender, and rosemary in there too!!! Soaking keeps my skin hydrated and silky and calms me down from all the day's stimulation. I try not to be on my phone either … just pure relaxation time.” Lopez gave subscribers a visual aid to help them see how she prioritizes self-care. A sexy video shows the iHeartRadio Icon Award winner in her bathroom. She has orchids on her vanity and rose petals in the bath. She even pours some oil in the tub to make it extra luxurious. Lopez laughs and smiles at the camera as she undresses and slips into the water. The clip, set to her song “Nobody’s Watching” from the Marry Me soundtrack, was filmed by her boyfriend, 49. “This video is me being filmed by my favorite director I've ever worked with,” Lopez teased. “You can see how this makes me very happy … the company didn't hurt either.”  She can be seen talking to and smiling at the camera operator. However, Affleck does not appear in the video as he subtly did for her “Marry Me” duet with Maluma. Though he didn’t make a cameo in her bath time segment, her Gigli costar showed up elsewhere in her second newsletter. While telling her OnTheJLo readers about her style tips, Lopez included a paparazzi shot of her and Affleck taken in February to show off her favorite pairing of flared, high-waisted jeans with heels. “Here I am at the Super Bowl pairing it with a white jacket and white button-down shirt for a Charlie's Angels 70's inspired classy look … with my favorite of the moment Mary Jane white Gucci Platforms!” she captioned the candid snap. Lopez also included a selfie that Affleck took of them with a couple friends in the stands at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles during the big game, which the singer called, “Super Fun!!!” Us Weekly confirmed that Affleck and Lopez reunited in May 2021, weeks after she and Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement. The pair previously dated from 2002 to 2004.  In February, the New York native noted that she and her love are keeping much of their romance private, more so than they did in their younger years. “We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us," she told the New York Times. "I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that's happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that, it really does. … We hold it sacred." However, the Hustlers star has opened up with her fans via the newsletter before. Three years later, the Adventureland star had an affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Stewart and Pattinson briefly rekindled their romance in 2013 before officially calling it quits that same year. Stewart was later linked to model Stella Maxwell, who she dated on and off from 2016 until 2019. In August 2019, the Spencer star sparked romance rumors when she was spotted with Meyer, who she had initially met on the set of a project years prior. The twosome have kept their relationship relatively under wraps, but three months after their first public outing, the Happiest Season star revealed that she “can’t f–king wait” to get engaged, describing the instant spark she felt when she reconnected with the writer. "I've known her for, like, six years, but we only started seeing each other [romantically]. Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth have kept their relationship relatively low-key in the decade since they tied the knot. The actress and the talent agent began dating in 2010 and became engaged soon after. They married in 2011 and welcomed son Tennessee the following year. Witherspoon opened up about her first impression of Toth upon meeting him at a friend's house. "It happened out of the blue," she recalled in her February 2012 Elle cover story. "This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me. He was like, [slurring, scowling, pointing finger in her face] 'You don't know me.' And I was like, 'Yeah, I know. I don't know you!'" The Pennsylvania native stepped in to help the Oscar winner, which sparked their romance. "Jim came over and said, 'Please excuse my friend. "He was in a good mood. He DJ’d for a bit and also came closer to the crowd and sang a few of his songs," an eyewitness exclusively tells Us Weekly. The 30-year-old "Sicko Mode" rapper performed in Los Angeles at Darren Dzienciol and Richie Akiva's Oscars 2022 Party on Saturday, March 26. Scott — who welcomed his second child with girlfriend Kylie Jenner in February — performed shortly after midnight at the Bel Air estate party in Los Angeles. The source notes that he didn't say much into the microphone besides his musical set, but he had a special guest cheering him on. Tyga — who previously dated the 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder on and off between 2014 and 2017 — was spotted in the VIP section with his friends, listening to Scott's performance.  "He stood up to listen to Travis and then would sit back down," the insider adds. The partygoer explained that Tyga seemed eager to watch Scott's return to the stage, noting, "[Tyga] could [have] left and gone to another room but he chose to stay in the main room to watch his performance." The "Aye" rapper, 32, was linked to the beauty mogul for nearly two years but remained on good terms after they called it quits in April 2017. Tyga eventually moved on with girlfriend Camaryn Swanson while the reality star started seeing Scott. Bachelor in Paradise star Derek Peth kicked off the new year by tying the knot on January 14. He and British model Saffron Vadher got engaged in November 2020. “Mr. & Mrs. Peth !!! “I love our life together,” Peth commented. Vadher replied to her new husband, “I love you moreeee.” The banker was previously engaged to Taylor Nolan after getting popping the question on BiP season 4. The two split in June 2018. Peth and Vadher went public with their relationship in March 2020. They were isolating together amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and the model shared a number of TikTok videos with him in the months that followed. She even announced their wedding on January 15 with a TikTok video. The clip showed their hands with their rings before the video showed the model grabbing her new husband’s face. “Officially Mrs. Peth!!!” the excited newlywed captioned the clip. Peth wasn’t the only BiP alum to tie the knot in January. One day later, Jordan Kimball, who appeared in the third season of the tropical reality show, married Christina Creedon in a Houston, Texas, ceremony. The couple, who announced their relationship on social media in November 2019, shared photos from their big day on social media. The elementary school teacher wore a long-sleeved gown and Kimball looked happy while filling the champagne tower. The bride and groom’s first dance was to “When You Say Nothing At All” by Alison Krauss. The ceremony included traditional vows, with the pair exchanging letters an hour before they walked down the aisle. "I chuckled, I cried, I smirked," Kimball exclusively told Us Weekly of his now-wife's note. Creedon agreed: "It was so hard not to cry the entire time, just from pure joy." The groom revealed he was overcome with emotion when he saw her walking down the aisle. "Seeing her for the first time — we didn't do a first look — and seeing her in her dress, [I started crying]," the Bachelorette alum told Us, adding that he "for sure" expected to keep his emotions in check. "Ever since that moment, I’ve realized how important she is to me. I mean, to cry in front of lifelong friends and family and everything — I’ve never loved her as much as I do today." The pair had been engaged for more than a year. Kimball proposed on Christmas Eve in 2020 while they were at the church she grew up attending. Her love planned the whole event, making sure cameras were there to document the day and her family was nearby to witness the happy moment. "Even when we were sitting in church [after the proposal], I just randomly started crying, like, pure joy," she told Us exclusively at the time. "I watch [the video] like every 30 minutes." The Duggar family has been captivating viewers with their unique courtship process since 2008 — and have kept the tradition going strong ever since. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar share 19 children: sons Joshua, John-David, Joseph, Josiah, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, Justin and Jackson, and daughters Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joy-Anna, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace and Josie. The family’s first reality series, 19 Kids and Counting, quickly became one of the most popular shows on TLC from 2008 to 2015. They later returned for a spin off, Counting On, which ran for 11 seasons before the network canceled it in June 2021. The show's end came two months after Josh was arrested on child pornography charges. Over the years, fans have watched many of the Duggar children explore their own relationships in hopes of scoring a love as strong as their parents’. "Made it to Hollywood… This weekend, my wife tested [positive emoji] for COVID," the Hamilton creator, 42, tweeted on Saturday, March 26, referring to wife Vanessa Nadal, whom he wed in 2010. "She’s doing fine. Kids & I have tested [negative emoji], but out of caution, I won’t be going to the Oscars tomorrow night." Miranda — who shares sons Sebastian, 7, and Francisco, 4, with Nadal, 39 — earned a Best Original Song nomination for Encanto's "Dos Oruguitas." The animated picture is also up for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score. The voice cast is set to belt out the film’s surprise hit "We Don't Talk About Bruno" during the Sunday, March 27, broadcast. His directorial debut, Tick, Tick… Boom!, also scored nods for Best Film Editing and Best Actor for Andrew Garfield's performance as Jonathan Larson.  "Cheering for my TickTickBoom & Encanto families w my own family, alongside all of you, ALL of you," the Tony Award winner concluded his tweet. If Miranda wins an Oscar trophy during Sunday’s awards show, he will become the youngest person to become an EGOT honoree after previously collecting Emmy, Grammy and Tony statues. "I literally fell in love with the Oscars because of Disney animated movies," he gushed about his nominations to Collider earlier this month. "I was ride or die for The Little Mermaid. That was my favorite movie in my young life. And I watched the Oscars for the first time that year, because if 'Kiss the Girl' or 'Under the Sea' didn’t win, I was ready to riot as a nine-year-old. While Miranda tested negative for the coronavirus, his decision to skip the show follows the Academy's updated health and safety guidelines amid recent spikes. Previous guidelines required invited guests to be fully vaccinated and take two PCR tests before the ceremony. The Mary Poppins Returns star has previously been outspoken about supporting health initiatives amid the pandemic, helping launch a vaccination site for Broadway, film and TV professionals in April 2021. "This is the first live performance I’ve seen in a year and a half. So I’m emotional today," Miranda told CBS News at the time, opening up the location which was christened with a musical number. He was 50. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins,” the band wrote in a Twitter statement on Friday, March 25. “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.” Hawkins joined the music group — which is also comprised of Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee and Franz Stahl — in 1997 after William Goldsmith‘s departure. Together, the band has released 10 albums with hit songs including “Best of You,” “Love Dies Young” and “This Is a Call.” The group had been on tour in South America and were set to perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards next month. The Texas native is survived by his wife Alison Hawkins — who he wed in 2005 — and their three children: Oliver, Annabelle and Everleigh. “When I was 25, I never thought, 'I’m going to be a suburban dad someday,'” the late songwriter told Billboard in November 2019. “But that’s what I am, so I can’t write about being young and going to clubs, and I’m not very political. It’s all sort of tongue-in-cheek though.” While further details of Taylor’s death have not been revealed, several of music’s biggest names have honored the “Everlong” performer’s legacy. “I don't have the words. Sad to write this or to never see you again,” Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, wrote via Instagram on Friday. “I'll never forget Laguna Beach days when I was a trash man playing in a punk rock band and you were playing with Alanis [Morissette]. | Taylor Hawkins Had 10 Substances in His System Before Death, Officials Say Posted: 27 Mar 2022 07:01 AM PDT Amid the investigation into Taylor Hawkins' death, Colombian authorities found that the late Foo Fighters drummer had 10 drugs in his system. Per a translation of a statement from the country's General of the Nation in Fiscalía on Saturday, March 26, a preliminary toxicology test revealed the presence of different substances. The report found that Hawkins allegedly had marijuana, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids in his system. An investigation into the cause of Hawkins' death is ongoing. The Texas native's death was confirmed on Friday, March 25, by members of his band. He was 50.  "The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins," the band wrote in a Twitter statement at the time. "His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time." The Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders frontman — who is survived by his wife Alison Hawkins and children Oliver, Annabelle and Everleigh — was on tour with the group in Bogotá, Colombia. Shortly before his death, he allegedly suffered chest pain. A Saturday Twitter statement from the city's District Secretary of Health noted that the local emergency center received a report about a patient — staying in a hotel north of the city — who had pain in his chest. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene where the songwriter was found unresponsive. Attempts to resuscitate Hawkins were not successful before he was pronounced dead. The late "Everlong" musician joined the Grammy-nominated band in 1997, alongside existing members Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee and Franz Stahl . After news of Hawkins' death broke, several acclaimed musicians paid tribute to his legacy. "Thank goodness for the photo booth in the Foo Fighters studio. Because of these pictures, my friendship with Taylor will always be at my fingertips," Stevie Nicks wrote via Instagram on Saturday, sharing a throwback snap of the pair. "He always came to my shows. He and his best friend Dave even let me be a Foo Fighter for a little while. We recorded a kick ass version of Gold Dust Woman (live) and at the end of the song I yelled out ‘Best Gold Dust Woman ever~' And I meant it. … He had a huge heart and a glorious smile. "He has a few tattoos, a few cute ones that he got [for me]," Kardashian said during a March 16 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The patient was declared dead on the scene shortly after. Per protocol, the city then launched an investigation to determine the cause of death, which has yet to be confirmed. "Throughout the tour, The Duke and Duchess will meet a wide variety of people from each country, including children, young people and families, frontline workers, service personnel, leaders from government, business and the charity sector as well as inspiring conservationists, and the early years workforce," the royal family's official Instagram account stated on Sunday, March 20, the second day of their trip. "Their [program] will also touch on a number of themes that are close to Their Royal Highnesses' hearts and a key focus of their work with The Royal Foundation, including The Earthshot Prize, mental health and the importance of early childhood to lifelong outcomes." During their time in Belize, the trip took an unexpected turn when William, 39, and Kate, 40, canceled their first outing at a sustainable cocoa farm in Indian Creek. The decision came amid protests about indigenous rights and colonialism. Ahead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s arrival, local villagers staged a protest and noted their frustration with the royals’ arrival on their land. At the time, village youth leader Dionisio Shol explained why William and Kate’s helicopter arrival created an issue for the locals. "For us it really hits right at home because of the treatment. The organizer said we had to let them use the football field and that people were coming to our village and it had to look good. But they didn’t want to divulge who,” Shol told the Daily Mail. "That's where the first issue arose. These are high-profile people, we respect them, but they also have to be giving respect to the community leaders. Giving community leaders commands did not sit well with the community." The palace responded to the concerns with their own statement to The Guardian, explaining, "We can confirm that due to sensitive issues involving the community in Indian Creek, the visit has been moved to a different location.
