Prior to Hamster's identity being revealed, fans thought singer Zakk Wylde was in disguise, while other viewers were not sure if it was a male or woman. Additional male suggestions included comedian Jeff Garlin and actor Ben Platt. The female possibilities presented by viewers were actor Rebel Wilson and singer Debbie Wilson.
