Alec Baldwin's 'Rust' Tragedy: Debra Messing and More Stars React

Posted: 22 Oct 2021 03:52 PM PDT

Offering their condolences. Celebrities and filmmakers took to social media to send their love to the family of Halyna Hutchins, who died during an accidental shooting on the set of Rust.

While filming at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Thursday, October 21, Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed the 42-year-old cinematographer and injured director Joel Souza. After the incident, both Hutchins and Souza, 48, were rushed to receive medical attention.

Hutchins was pronounced dead at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, while Souza was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. The Crown Vic director was released from the hospital on Friday, October 22, according to Deadline. Production on the film was halted and the set is currently closed.

Baldwin spoke out about the incident for the first time on Friday. "There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours," the 30 Rock alum, 63, wrote in a statement posted via Twitter and Instagram. "I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna."

Juan Ríos, a spokesperson for the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department, said that the actor "came in voluntarily" to talk to investigators, adding that the incident would be treated like "any other investigation."

After the shooting, Shannon Lee, the sister of Brandon Lee, spoke out about the tragedy. Brandon, the son of Bruce Lee, died at age 28 in 1993 after a similar incident occurred on the set of The Crow.

"Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on Rust," she wrote via Brandon's official Twitter account, which she runs. "No one should ever be killed by a gun on a film set. Period."

Rust Movie Productions LLC, the company producing the film, also released a statement after the incident on Thursday. "The entire cast and crew has been absolutely devastated by today's tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Halyna's family and loved ones," the statement read. "We have halted production on the film for an undetermined period of time and are fully cooperating with the Santa Fe Police Department's investigation. We will be providing counseling services to everyone connected to the film as we work to process this awful event."

Debra Messing

The Will & Grace veteran defended Baldwin after a conservative commentator suggested that the actor should be investigated as a criminal. "A prop gun was handed to him," she tweeted. "He used it in the scene. Then- a catastrophic event happened where Halnya Hutchins lost her life and Joel Souza was injured. I am praying for all of their families."

The Rust star shared her own tribute to Hutchins via Instagram on Friday that celebrated the cinematographer for being one of very "few non-male directors of photography."

The Unforgiven star continued by stating that there is a line from the Clint Eastwood-directed movie that "maybe someday I will have the courage to put here. It pretty much sums it all up. In the meantime, my prayers are with your family and with all who love and miss you. @halynahutchins See the beauty of her vision."

"Hearing about what happened on the #RUST set yesterday shook me to my core," the One Tree Hill alum tweeted on Friday. "I'm heartbroken for Halyna's family. Working with weapons on set is always terrifying. Whenever I've been handed a 'safe' and ready gun I've always said a prayer. I can't fathom how the crew & cast are doing and I hope that an investigation offers some answers as to how this accident could've happened. It won't bring her back, and it won't lessen everyone's trauma. But my god, people's lives shouldn't be at stake when we are telling stories. Stay vigilant. Sending love."

Gunn also responded to a Twitter user asking whether prop guns are still risky when rules and protections are in place. "There is no way what happened yesterday on Rust could have happened if every single person followed the rules," he replied. "That's not me placing blame at any individual's doorstep; I don't know all the facts. But with everyone following proper protocol it could not have occurred."

In the montage, Meadow hugged Brewster, 41, as the actress took in the bride's gown and veil, sweetly rubbing her back. The Paul Walker Foundation founder also chatted with Diesel — who is her godfather — and leaned her head over on his. The actor, 54, later stood beside a vintage car while the newlyweds sat inside.

A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Diesel walked Meadow down the aisle during the ceremony, in place of her late father.

Meadow sparked engagement rumors in August when she showed off a diamond ring in an Instagram video. She subsequently posted a photo of herself and Thornton-Allan wearing what appeared to be matching wedding bands on October 11, writing, "Best friend."

The couple made their relationship public in July when the actor shared a photo of them on a couch.

Meadow has remained close to her father's costars from the Fast and Furious franchise since he died in a car accident in November 2013 at age 40. His daughter — whom he shared with ex-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros — was 15 at the time.

Paul played Brian O'Conner in the films. His final appearance in the franchise was 2015's Furious 7, which he was in the process of shooting at the time of his death. Diesel portrays Brian's best friend, Dominic Toretto, while Brewster stars as his girlfriend, Mia Toretto.

Meadow has leaned on Diesel for support since her father's death. "She counts Vin and his kids as family and will talk to them on days she's struggling, and she has their backs too," a source exclusively told Us in June.

Despite finding a second family in Paul's absence, the California native has maintained her connection to her dad. "Meadow is so proud of her dad and goes out of her way to respond to people who send letters or express their love of him and his work," the insider noted. "She posts tributes to him on social media, keeps in touch with the people who were important in his life and generally acts on the advice he gave her whilst he was still alive."

The source added that Meadow believes her father is "looking down and protecting her from heaven."

"Beyond grateful." Lala Kent marked three years of sobriety amid rumors that she and fiancé Randall Emmett have broken up.

"Today marks 3 years of sobriety. I can't believe it," the Vanderpump Rules alum, 31, wrote via Instagram on Friday, October 22. "I'm beyond grateful for this path that God & my late father placed in front of me. I'm grateful for my sober coach & my sponsor who I consider angels."

Kent, who previously revealed that she stopped drinking after her father died in April 2018, continued by thanking the men and women who have shared their stories so honestly, giving me hope and inspiration to continue to never pick up a drink again."

The former SUR hostess also wrote that she is "taking it one day at a time, but I will say, I have never felt so strong in my sobriety. It's the proudest thing I have ever done, aside from becoming a mother," adding, "My first priority is always my sobriety. It comes before everything — because without it, I am of no use."

The mother of 7-month-old daughter Ocean, whom she shares with Emmett, 50, first opened up about her sobriety journey in December 2018, when she revealed that she was two months clean — "and it's been the best 60 days that I've had in a really long time," the Bravo star told fans via her Instagram Story.

"I know I love to drink … a lot, I know I'm a hard worker, and I know that my life is entirely up to me," she wrote then. "However, If I decided to pick up a drink, it would be the determining factor of how my life would be."

The severity of her own addiction is why she said she found Demi Lovato's "California sober" approach to alcohol addiction "super offensive."

During a July 19 appearance on the "Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast, the reality star said, "There are people out there who work their ass off to never take themselves out of reality and to never place themselves in an altered state."

She added, "I've been in rooms with men and women who have given up everything just to not pick up. You're not sober if you're drinking or you're smoking weed. You are not sober."

Celebs Dressing Up as Other Celebs for Halloween

Posted: 22 Oct 2021 01:02 PM PDT

Halloween is the perfect time for fans worldwide to transform into their favorite celebrity for the day — and sometimes celebrities take inspiration from fellow stars.

Miley Cyrus put her best foot forward in 2013 when she recreated Lil Kim's iconic 1999 VMAs look. Just like the "Crush on You" rapper, the "Midnight Sky" singer donned a long purple wig and matching jumpsuit. To complete the costume, Cyrus also made sure that her left breast was out and covered with a purple pasty — the portion of the outfit that initially drummed up buzz at the time.

Cyrus' efforts allowed her to earn high praise from the "Lady Marmalade" hitmaker, herself. "Awwww. Look at my baby @mileycyrus tonight!!! Looking GORGEOUS!!!" she tweeted. "I wish I was there to squeeze your boob 🙂 🙂 Love U so much !!!! #mytwin."

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian stunned when she arrived at the Casamigos Halloween party in 2017 dressed up in Cher's 1973 Oscars look. By the KKW Beauty mogul's side was longtime pal Jonathan Cheban, who went as Cher's ex-husband and former musical collaborator, Sonny Bono.

The Moonstruck actress raved about Kardashian's recreation, tweeting: "Woke To See You Are Me 4 🎃 You Look BEAUTIFUL Little Armenian Sister💋."

Kardashian previously channeled the "Believe" songstress while attending the 2015 Met Gala, where she arrived in a Roberto Cavalli dress that took inspiration from the Bob Mackie outfit Cher wore to the fashion event in its debut year.

For Halloween in 2018, Rita Ora fully transformed into Post Malone. She donned a wig, faux facial hair and fake versions of the "Better Now" artist's signature face tattoos.

The "Your Song" singer's take on Malone was so impressive, The Hollywood Reporter mistakenly confused her for the Grammy nominee. The publication tweeted about Malone's planned performance for the 2019 Grammy Awards, but they mistakenly used a photo of Ora in costume as the "Sunflower" hitmaker.

"When I looked at that [tweet], I was like, 'Someone's getting fired,'" she said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in May 2019. "That was so funny. Everyone kept tweeting me, and I was like, 'Hey, am I performing at the Grammys? Oh, it's not me.'"

The 18-year-old took to her Instagram Story on Friday, October 22, to share the one song that is keeping her spirits up following her split from the 18-year-old Dancing With the Stars contestant: Rita Ora's "Poison."

"This song. Pure happiness," the Florida native wrote alongside a screengrab of the 2015 song's cover art, adding, "Where are all my hopeless romantics at??"

Prew also offered a review of the power pop ballad, writing, "2000/10 recommend for all the good feels :)."

Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, October 20, that Prew and Siwa had broken up after less than one year of dating. "Some [Dancing With the Stars] cast are aware about the breakup," which occurred "about two weeks ago," a source exclusively revealed.

The insider told Us, "JoJo is focusing on the competition and giving her all. While it's a rough time for her, she's handling DWTS very professionally and still putting on a smile and giving 100 percent. She doesn't want to let down her fans."

Siwa revealed her relationship with Prew less than one month after coming out to her social media followers in January. The J-Team star initially kept Prew's identity private, but the pair later went Instagram official while celebrating their four-week anniversary.

The Dance Moms alum had fan wondering whether she was single again earlier this month when she shared a cryptic Instagram message. "This has been a WEEK," she wrote on October 9. "My brain has never been so overwhelmed/overloaded with not only work but also personal life."

Siwa continued by sharing the lessons she learned while competing on season 30 of DWTS alongside her partner, Jenna Johnson. "Live in the moment. Smile however you can. Whatever it takes to be happy, do it," she wrote.

Following her candid social media post, the "Boomerang" singer opened up about her challenging week, but did not directly address her relationship status.

"Everyone always says dance is an escape, dance is a place where you can express yourself and I've always said, 'That's cheesy,'" she told Us and other reporters after the Disney Villains night of the ballroom competition show on October 12. "But this week, I really learned that it is a little escape."

Siwa, who is the first competitor in the ABC show's history to perform with a same-sex partner, thanked Johnson, 27, for helping her through the "tough" and "tricky" situation. "I'm really lucky that every day this week, I got to spend three hours with my best friend in rehearsals," the Nebraska native said.

Will Erika Jayne Take the Stand, Be Named a Defendant in Tom Girardi's Case?

Will Erika Jayne Take the Stand Be Named a Defendant in Tom Girardi Case

What's next? Erika Jayne may never take the stand amid her estranged husband Tom Girardi's bankruptcy case, according to attorney Ronald Richards.

"That may never happen if there's a settlement," the lawyer said on the Tuesday, October 19, episode of the Up and Adam! Live show. "Asking Erika how the taxes were filed with Tom Girardi, in my opinion, will be a blank wall. I mean, I have no evidence that Erika was preparing the tax returns for her and her husband. I think it's preposterous quite frankly."

Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi's Legal Woes: Everything We Know Read article

Richards is the court-appointed trustee who has been investigating Erika, 50, and Tom, 82, for months after they were accused in December 2020 of embezzling funds meant for the families of the victims of a 2018 plane crash.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who filed for divorce from Tom in November 2020, has since been sued for $25 million for her supposed affiliation with the bankruptcy case. Richards, for his part, claims she's "liable" for the money even if she had no knowledge of Tom's alleged actions.

While the Pretty Mess author has butted heads with Richards in the past, the two have seemingly agreed on a new motion filed in Chicago on October 4 requesting she be used as a defendant in their case against Tom and his former law firm Girardi Keese.

Erika Jayne's Biggest 'RHOBH' Reunion Revelations Read article

The attorney explained on Tuesday that the motion was intended to "get the blessing of the bankruptcy judge to pursue Erika as a defendant in Chicago," which both he and Erika oppose.

"We don't think that's a great idea because we believe we can get a better result through cooperation and just having one court handle the matter against Erika," Richards said, noting that Erika being called as a defendant would stall the case he's currently building. "Right now, she is the only one that have authorization to pursue and investigate. So, while I'm working very cooperatively and collaboratively with her counsel, I also obviously want to work and will work cooperatively and collaboratively with the Edelson firm because they're the ones that started the ball rolling."

The lawyer noted that he doesn't think the Georgia native should be "fighting a lawsuit all over the country" when she's already being sued on the "accounting" front — and facing questions of "where's the money?" — in Los Angeles.

Richards further explained that his team has already made headway on tracking down the missing money, which if recouped will be given to the victims' families.

"I already know what happened from an expense point with the $25 million, but we need to just button up a couple things so we can make an intelligent decision. If we can just provide the accounting now and sort of resolve this issue and kind of figure out where did the money go, then as long as Edelson's money wasn't taken, there's no reason for Edelson to be pursuing Erika," he continued. "And I don't want Erika, or whoever's helping her, to spend thousands of dollars on lawyers in Chicago when that money can be used to resolve the case here."

Richards doesn't think he will "need to go to trial" for his case against Erika, claiming, "Her lawyer is going to cooperate and we're going to get to the bottom of where the money is and what happened."

He explained that he wants to do "what's right," which is why he wants to wrap up his case and keep Erika from being pulled into another trial in Chicago when there is so much crossover between the cases.

Real Housewives' Legal Troubles Through the Years Read article

"It doesn't make sense to anybody, and it's not really fair to her, to have to fight this thing in all these jurisdictions," Richards concluded. "So that's why, from a policy standpoint, I felt like we should just ask for a pause and then try to resolve it without her wasting money on legal fees. It just doesn't make sense."

Us previously confirmed that Erika's lawyer filed a document on Tuesday regarding her alleged part in the bankruptcy case, stating that she had "no role in the management of the firm" and has "no knowledge of whatever transpired at GK related to the Lion Air litigation filed in November 2018, or the settlement funds."

The documents claim that the singer has "no access or visibility into the bank accounts of GK, including client trust accounts, into which Edelson alleges the settlement funds in the Lion Air case were paid."

Erika has continued to maintain her innocence throughout season 11 of RHOBH and its reunion episodes, two of which aired earlier this month.

Kate Beckinsale Refuses to 'Dumb' Herself Down to Not Offend Others

Posted: 22 Oct 2021 12:51 PM PDT

Kate Beckinsale is no stranger to a clapback! The actress never shies away from the opportunity to defend herself — especially if a troll comes for her relationship.

Beckinsale has made headlines for her love life over the years. The Underwood star dated Michael Sheen from 1995 to 2003. They share daughter Lily. After their breakup, Beckinsale started seeing director Len Wiseman. The duo tied the knot in May 2004, but called it quits after 11 years of marriage in November 2015.

Following her divorce, Beckinsale was linked to actor Matt Rife, who is more than 20 years younger than her. The on-again, off-again pair were last spotted together in 2018. The Serendipity star moved on from Rife with comedian Pete Davidson, who is also 20 years her junior, but the fling ended after less than four months.

"Kate is a lot of fun and loves embracing her youthful side," a source told Us Weekly in February 2019. "She's always the life of the party and likes going out, dancing and hanging out around young people at hip places."

The Guilty Party alum's joy for life has led some online to think they can offer their two cents on how she should behave at her age — something Beckinsale has no time for.

"It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who's having any fun at all," she told Women's Health in May 2020.

"And by that, I don't mean doing drugs and drinking and partying, because I never am," the British actress continued. "But being goofy, and going out, and not going, 'Oh, my god, I'm going to sit home and anticipate menopause while crocheting.' Unless you're doing that, it somehow seems to be risqué, which is just ridiculous to me."

In 2017, when an Instagram bully insinuated Beckinsale should be at home with her then-teen daughter, she clapped back by letting them know it wasn't the 1700s. "I don't have to stay home … playing the pianoforte, getting consumption or trying to secure her a marriage," she said. "But thank you for the quaint blast from the past."

Most often, the Last Days of Disco star is just standing up for her right to live her life the way she sees fit — in the most hilarious way possible.

After an Instagram user told Beckinsale to "go home and take care of [her] kids" in June 2017, the actress replied, "What's amazing is it is no longer the 18th century so now that my one child is grown I don't have to stay home (while she's out with her own friends) playing the pianoforte, getting consumption or trying to secure her a marriage. But thank you for the quaint blast from the past. Oh and I can vote now too! YAY."

Not Your Problem Child

In July 2018, an Instagram troll made an assumption that a video of the Click actress dancing was her then-teenage daughter. Beckinsale corrected the user with an epic response: "Ummm she's neither skimpily dressed nor jumping around. Did you eat a lot of cheese and then have a nap? And oh s—t ps that's me jumping around and skimpily dressed. So in fact I'm the problem child. But say that to my mum at your peril."

After someone called Beckinsale's outfit at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in September 2018 the "most hideous dress [they've] ever laid eyes on," she called out the user's clothes in his Instagram profile pic. "I wear what pleases me," she wrote. "In a similar vein carry on with your orange t shirt [sic] and expression of startled agony."

Age Is Just a Number

"I'm weirdly attracted to you though," Beckinsale quipped after an Instagram user referred to her as "old lady" in October 2018.

Doesn't Miss a Beat

After one Instagram user told Beckinsale it was "lame meeting [her] at monster mania" in September 2018, she clapped back, writing, "weird I felt like we had a connection."

All About Pete

News broke that Beckinsale and Pete Davidson were spotted flirting at multiple Golden Globes parties in January 2019. The Pearl Harbor star acknowledged the reports after an Instagram user wrote, "Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson," on an Instagram picture of Beckinsale's mother. "No that's my mother. Easy mistake," the British actress responded.

Not So Fast

Beckinsale fired back at an Instagram commenter who asked her if her young friend was her son in January 2019. "he is my son yes. I kept him in the cellar for 29 years but now I feel I should take him out on jaunts," she joked.

That's Not My Name

Beckinsale had a funny reply after an Instagram user mistook her for Sarah Silverman's mother in February 2017. (Silverman was dating her ex Michael Sheen at the time.) "That sarah is your daughter? Pretty like you @katebeckinsale," the user wrote, to which Beckinsale replied, "Granddaughter. We are very proud of her."

Not Looking for Opinions

In February 2019, the Widow actress fired back at a troll who added his two cents on her love life. "Disappointed in your dating choices," he commented on one of Beckinsale's Instagram selfies, to which she hilariously replied, "Fairly let down by your wonky beard but thought possibly rude to say."

Au Naturel

"I literally don't get Botox," the actress responded to an Instagram troll who accused her of getting work done in April 2020. "Please hop off my d--k you will so regret it later in life."

Grammar Queen

Beckinsale corrected an Instagram user who mistakenly called her rumored boyfriend, Goody Grace, a "tom boy" instead of a "boy toy" in April 2020. "Try and see if you can spell and not just goon yourself straight out the gate," she shot back.

Defying the Double Standard

"I witness men constantly doing whatever they like, whether that's in relationships, or deciding to buy a motorbike, or getting a tattoo," Beckinsale said during an unfiltered interview with Women's Health in May 2020. "It hasn't been interpreted as, 'Why hasn't he had more children?' or 'Is he ever going to decide to become a parent?' or 'Why has he had so many girlfriends?' ... It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who's having any fun at all."

Not Standing for Hate

When an "All Lives Matter" supporter critiqued her post about Breonna Taylor's death, Beckinsale made it clear that she wouldn't stand for "mean spirited" comments. "What's really sad is you being pushy on a post about a woman's death and saying 'what about someone else' actually does a disservice to the person you are trying to illuminate," she replied in June 2020. "All these deaths are tragic and could ALL have been avoided. ALL. Someone posting about one does not imply not caring about another. Don't make a fight where there isn't a fight, it's disrespecting both and all."

Back Off, Body Shamers

After sharing a video of herself relaxing in bed in October 2020, the British actress faced off against a troll who thought she looked "dreadfully thin." Never one to hold back, Beckinsale replied, "You're wearing speedo goggles — it might be hard for you to be entirely confident about what you're seeing — much less comment about it."

Aging Gracefully — and Hilariously

After Beckinsale posted a photo of herself dressed up as a grandma to promote her Paramount+ TV show, The Guilty Party, in October 2021, an Instagram troll questioned why she would risk aging herself. "You do not want to be called old," the social media user warned.

The Van Helsing actress wasn't having it and politely let the rude follower know as much. "I do not care," she wrote. "Please have at it if it gives you a spark of joy."

Kourtney and Travis Dress as Sid and Nancy for Halloween After Engagement

Posted: 22 Oct 2021 12:35 PM PDT

Spooky season in full effect! Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got in the Halloween spirit a few days early, dressing up as punk icons Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, 42, shared photos of the duo's look via Instagram on Friday, October 23, just days after the couple got engaged. "Till death do us part," the Poosh founder captioned the carousel of black-and-white photos.

The Blink-182 drummer, 45, posted his own recap of the pair's night, adding the caption, "Throw away the key." In the pictures, Kardashian donned a blond wig and a mesh T-shirt over a black bra, while Barker wore a leather jacket and plenty of studs. He also added a spiky wig and cigarette to complete the look.

Spungen dated Vicious until her October 1978 death at age 20 from a stab wound. Vicious, the bassist for the Sex Pistols, was charged with her murder, but he died of a heroin overdose in February 1979 before the case went to trial.

In 1986, Gary Oldman played Vicious (real name: Simon John Ritchie) in a biopic called Sid and Nancy, which starred Chloe Webb as Spungen. Sex Pistols lead singer John Lydon (a.k.a. Johnny Rotten) later called the film "the lowest form of life," but it has since developed a cult following.

Despite the real couple's dark end, Kardashian and Barker's looks received plenty of praise from their Instagram followers. "How?! This is genius," wrote Harry Hudson. "THIS!!!!! 💀💀," added Simon Huck, a longtime friend of the Kardashian family.

The reality star and her now-fiancé got engaged on Sunday, October 17, during a visit to the Rosewood Miramar Beach Hotel in Santa Barbara, California, less than one year after going public with their romance.

"Both Travis and Kourtney are on cloud nine," a source told Us Weekly exclusively of the spouses-to-be. "The Kardashians, Jenners and Travis' family are so happy for the two of them."

The twosome haven't publicly discussed their wedding plans yet, but an insider told Us that they're already thinking ahead to expanding their family. "They will have a baby together without any doubt, it's just a matter of when and how," an insider told Us.

Kardashian shares Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Barker, for his part, shares son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 15, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, whom he divorced in 2008.

"I've suffered on and off since 2016 with extreme stomach pain," the Flip or Flop star, 38, captioned an Instagram selfie on Thursday, October 21. "It has been written off as stress and doctors have tried to put me on all the pills/meds but luckily I realized masking it wasn't the answer. I wanted to fix the problem so I really focused on my nutrition and it seemed to get better but then last year it was triggered again and all of a sudden the stomach pain was back [confounded face emoji]."

The HGTV personality further explained that her doctors performed a full endoscopy and gastrointestinal testing for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) to diagnose her pain.

"With autoimmune, anxiety can cause major flare ups and my biggest thing I've [noticed] being affected is my digestion/gut health," she continued in her post, noting her symptoms. "Basically if I don't eat SUPER clean I get a horrible burning sensation. I finally found the right doctor who didn't just tell me to take Acid Controllers. … Now just praying everything comes back [OK] and some rounds of antibiotics will kill off whatever bacteria it is that's damaging my GI tract. I've talked to a lot of people about this and just want to advocate how important it is to trust your own health instincts and not ignore things going on in your body."

SIBO, according to the Mayo Clinic, occurs when there is an abnormal increase of bacterial production in the small intestine, often recognized by appetite loss, abnormal pain, nausea, bloating and other symptoms.

Following her medical procedure and the nerve-wracking waiting game pre-results, the Christina on the Coast host is ready to focus on "getting back to taking care of myself, mind, body and spirit" and spending quality time with her kids — Taylor, 11, and Brayden, 6, whom she shares with Tarek El Moussa, and Hudson, 2, whom she shares with Ant Anstead — as well as "one-on-one time" with fiancé Joshua Hall.

"As I sit here in Tennessee I feel super grateful for where life has taken me," she explained in her social media upload on Thursday. "I love that we have a home where we get total peace in the woods where it's just us doing our thing. In the past I've let stress and being overwhelmed get the best of me and I've ignored what was going on with myself internally."

The Wellness Remodel author was previously diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease, an autoimmune condition, and discussed her treatment in a January 2020 Instagram Live alongside the Celebrity IOU: Joyride host, 42, and their son.

"I have Hashimoto thyroid disease and PCOS [polycystic ovary syndrome], as well as skin flare-ups when I eat certain foods," the California native said at the time via PopCulture, after one viewer asked her about her diagnoses. "After babies, those of us with autoimmune issues — our bodies go into shock [and it's] so important to stay on top of it."

"I've got a 6 a.m. call tomorrow to have a big shootout. They had me pick my gun, they were like, 'All right, what gun would you like?' and I was like, 'I don't know?' and the armorer was like, 'Do you have gun experience?'" the actor, 43, told fans at a Supernatural convention that took place in Denver from October 15 to 17. "I was like, 'A little.' And she's like, 'OK, well, this is how you load it, this is how we check it and make sure it's safe.'"

According to Ackles, the armorer told him that she was "going to put some blanks" in the gun and instructed him to "fire off a couple rounds" at the landscape in the distance, which he did easily. He noted that Baldwin — who is also a producer on the project — was present when he went in for the role.

BFFs? Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd appear to have settled their years-long feud. Dodd, 46, even offered to play matchmaker for the newly single Gunvalson, 59 — a real step forward for those who know the pair's history. On Wednesday, October 20, Dodd shared a video via her Instagram Stories of her hanging out with her former costar, the "OG of the OC," who recently broke up with her fiancé, Steve Lodge.

With help from another RHOC alum, Tamra Judge, Dodd promised that they would help Gunvalson move on from her estranged ex. "OK, we figured it out, me and Tamra are gonna find you a man. We're gonna go out in her family van…," the Arizona native said before turning the camera to Gunvalson, who agreed, "Yes, we are. A blue family van."

Dodd then asked her husband, Rick Leventhal, if he would help them in their search. "I'm going along for the ride, OK? You're not going without me," the former Fox news correspondent, 61, joked in the clip.

Dodd later took to Instagram to respond to "the trolls and cyber bullies" who were surprised to see her hanging out with Gunvalson. "Hoping you haters can find happiness and a way out of your darkness ❤," she wrote on Thursday, October 21.

The recent reunion between the Bravo stars come four years after the pair's relationship became strained during season 13 of the reality show.

After becoming fast friends in season 11, Dodd accused Gunvalson and her then-boyfriend, Lodge, 62, in 2018 of playing matchmaker for her ex-husband, Michael Dodd. At the time, Gunvalson admitted that she and Lodge had gone on double dates with Michael, 64, and his new girlfriend.

The women appeared to make up during the season 13 reunion, but Kelly quickly walked back reports of a reconciliation, claiming she would leave RHOC over comments Gunvalson made during the special, which implied she had used cocaine.

Gunvalson left the show before season 15, which premiered in October 2020, while Kelly tweeted in February that she was "excited" to return for season 16 following rumors that she had been fired.

The news of this unlikely reunion comes after Gunvalson accused her ex of cheating on her with a younger woman on October 15. Lodge later denied the allegations in a statement to Us Weekly that same day.

"The absolute lies she is now spreading on social media is very disappointing and disingenuous, to say the least," he told Us. "But I cannot say I'm surprised."

A painful recollection. Jamie Lynn Spears' memoir doesn't debut until next year, but its contents are already making headlines.

Britney Spears' Family Members: A Comprehensive Guide Read article

According to excerpts from the book obtained by TMZ, the Zoey 101 alum, 30, recalls the events that transpired after she told her parents and managers that she was pregnant in 2007. At the time, the Louisiana native was 16.

"Everyone was certain that termination would be the best course of action," the Sweet Magnolias star reportedly writes, adding that her inner circle told her having a baby was a "terrible idea" that would "kill" her career. She also claims that her father, Jamie Spears, pushed her to put the baby up for adoption.

In one passage, the former Nickelodeon star writes that she and her mom, Lynne Spears, stayed together in a cabin to hide out until news of the pregnancy broke. "Momma wore her disappointment like her favorite jacket," the singer writes.

Jamie Lynn, who was then in a relationship with now ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge, gave birth to daughter Maddie, now 13, in June 2008. She also shares daughter Ivey, 3, with husband Jamie Watson, whom she wed in 2014.

Last year, the "How Could I Want More" songstress opened up about what it was like to be pregnant while starring in a hugely popular show aimed at kids and teens.

Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears' Ups and Downs Read article

"I didn't become pregnant until probably six months after we wrapped [Zoey 101] or something like that, but some of the episodes had not aired yet," she told Nylon in October 2020. "I think that there was a conversation with Nickelodeon, rightfully so, of, 'Do we air these episodes?' But the show had already wrapped and there was never a negotiation to go into any more seasons. We were too old. It was done."

She went on to say that she was "mortified" to have to tell her family that she was expecting. "That was all I was thinking about: 'These are the people I love that I have to tell, and also, I'm pregnant. There's a human being growing inside of me, and I'm so young, I'm almost a baby myself,'" she recalled. "I didn't really care about any of that nonsense, but when we did announce that I was pregnant, I did hide away for a little bit during that time and I didn't have a phone."

In July, Jamie Lynn announced that she was working on a book titled I Must Confess: Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out. The title has since been changed to Things I Should Have Said, and the release date is set for January 18, 2022.

Are Britney Spears and Sister Jamie Lynn Close? Everything We Know Read article

Earlier this month, the Kids' Choice Award winner told Instagram followers that she had finished writing the memoir. "There was a lot of personal work and healing that had to happen before I could share my truth the proper way," she wrote at the time. "I've spent my whole life believing that I had to pretend to be perfect, even when I wasn't, so for the first time I am opening up about my own mental health, because this process challenged me to have to be painfully honest with myself, and face a lot of hard things, that I normally would have just glossed right over, like I was taught to."

After that post, her older sister, Britney Spears, joked she was also working on a book, leading fans to theorize about a possible rift between the duo. "I'm having issues coming up with a title so maybe my fans could help !!!!" the "Toxic" singer, 39, wrote via Instagram at the time. "Option #1 … 'S–t, I really don't know' Option #2 … 'I really care what people think' 😂🙄🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!!' What do you guys think 🤔🤔🤔 ????"

Celebrity Deaths in 2021: Stars We've Lost

It's never easy to say goodbye. Larry King, Christopher Plummer and Cecily Tyson are among the celebrities who died in 2021, leaving those in their wake heartbroken.

Dustin Diamond died on February 1 at age 44 after a battle with stage IV small cell carcinoma. "He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago. In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution," his rep told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. "Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful."

The actor's Saved by the Bell costars paid tribute to him after news of his death. "I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dustin Diamond, a true comedic genius. My sincere condolences to his family and friends," Mark-Paul Gosselaar told Us in a statement. "Looking back at our time working together, I will miss those raw, brilliant sparks that only he was able to produce. A pie in your face, my comrade."

Mario Lopez, meanwhile, wrote via Instagram: "Dustin, you will be missed my man. The fragility of this life is something never to be taken for granted. Prayers for your family will continue on."

Tiffani Thiessen echoed Lopez's sentiments in an Instagram post of her own. "I am deeply saddened by the news of my old co-star @realdustindiamond passing," she captioned a photo of Diamond. "Life is extremely fragile and it's something we should never take for granted. God speed Dustin."

Later that month, fans lost an iconic figure in Christopher Plummer, who died at age 91. "Chris was an extraordinary man who deeply loved and respected his profession with great old fashion manners, self deprecating humor and the music of words," his longtime manager said in a statement to Us on February 5. "He was a National Treasure who deeply relished his Canadian roots. Through his art and humanity, he touched all of our hearts and his legendary life will endure for all generations to come. He will forever be with us."

The Oscar winner's Sound of Music costar Julie Andrews honored him after his death. "The world has lost a consummate actor today. And I have lost a cherished friend," the actress told Us in a statement. "I treasure the memories of our work together and all the humor and fun we shared through the years. My heart and condolences go out to his lovely wife Elaine, and his daughter Amanda."

Peter Scolari, best known for starring alongside Tom Hanks in the '80s sitcom Bosom Buddies, died on Friday, October 22. He was 66.

The Emmy winner's manager, Ellen Lubin Sanitsky, confirmed the news to Variety. The actor had been fighting cancer for two years prior to his death.

The New York native's first major acting role was in the 1980 comedy Goodtime Girls. Though the series was short-lived, it led to his casting in Bosom Buddies, which followed him and Hanks, now 65, whose characters disguised themselves as women in order to live in an all-female apartment building.

Scolari went on to play Wayne Szalinski in three seasons of the TV adaptation of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. He later played the father of Lena Dunham's character on HBO's Girls, starring in 21 episodes. He took home an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for the part in 2016.

Throughout his career, he appeared in White Collar, Gotham, The Good Fight and Murphy Brown. Most recently, he starred in Fosse/Verdon, Blue Bloods, Lisey's Story and five episodes of Evil.

Robert King, who cocreated Evil with wife Michelle King, shared a lengthy tribute to the star on Friday.

"Peter Scolari, who died today, was one of the funniest — sneakily funny — actors we've worked with. He always took a nothing scene and found different ways to twist it, and throw in odd pauses that made it jump. I will try to collect my thoughts more. He was just wonderful," the writer, 62, tweeted. "To watch Peter Scolari's dailies was a thrill because he always found new ways to go. He molded the highs and lows of a scene, but always looking for the comic spin, and he'd massage a phrase with each take until he could hear the laughter in his head. This is a real loss."

He continued, "It always felt like Peter Scolari found new ways to wear the priest wardrobe for comic effect. He knew his role was essentially funny, even though he often played straight man to something absurd said by another character. But he knew the laugh was in the reaction not the action. Beyond everything else, Peter Scolari was a mensch, a hard worker, a thoughtful actor, always a pleasure on a set. This feels like a very depressing day. Writing about him makes it a bit easier, but not really."

David Pressman, who played Mr. Rusnak on Newhart, also honored the late Letting Go actor.

"My time on Newhart wasn't long but in the few episodes I did, most of my stuff was with Peter Scolari. I'll never forget how kind and supportive he was and so incredibly talented," he tweeted. "I was honored to get to work with him. RIP, Peter."

The fashion designer, 39, called out Sonja, 57, via her Instagram Story on Thursday, October 21. "Damn Sonja talking mad s–t about Tinz and my sis in this book," she wrote in a since-deleted post, referring to their past costar Tinsley Mortimer and Leah's younger sister, Sarah McSweeney. "Hell no bitch. It's a wrap."

Leah included a photo of cigarettes in an ashtray, seemingly alluding to Heather Thomson's claim from the book that Sonja let men "put lit cigarettes in her vagina." (Sonja called Heather, 51, a "liar" in the comments section of an Instagram post about the allegation.)

Leah then shared a passage from the book, which is an oral history of the Real Housewives franchise. In the excerpt, Sonja told her version of events from the season 12 cast trip to Rhode Island that Leah's sister, Sarah, joined.

"God, that sister was a nightmare off camera," Sonja claimed. "She went apes–t on me. She had me and Ramona [Singer] hiding under a table to get away from her. She just kept coming at me and coming at me, and Ramona started crying because Leah was like, f–ked-up, daytime, nighttime, everything. It was so bad."

The socialite alleged that she and Ramona, 64, did not want to sit at the same dinner table as Leah and Sarah because "the way they were acting was embarrassing." On the show, the moment played out as Sonja and Ramona wanting to mingle with men at a restaurant while everyone else tried to have a girls' night out, but Sonja claimed that they "made us out to be these lecherous old women trying to pick up guys."

According to Sonja, Ramona was "very concerned" about how the trip would appear to viewers. "Afterward, she was calling and saying, 'I can't do a show like this, this is too trashy,'" she alleged.

Leah, meanwhile, refuted her costar's claims, writing via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, "This is totally untrue and I would never ever tell what goes on with Sonja that gets cut out. That's Heather's job apparently."

The Married to the Mob founder later revealed that she was "punished" for her social media activity when she got stung by a bee twice. "I didn't feel good about it, and it was a great reminder that if you're a messy bitch, you will get stung like a bitch," she told her Instagram followers.

Not All Diamonds and Rosé, which was published by Andy Cohen Books, is out now.

'Siesta Key' Cast's Dating Histories: A Guide to Who's Hooked Up With Who

Posted: 22 Oct 2021 10:28 AM PDT

Finding love on the beach! Since its 2017 debut on MTV, Siesta Key has featured hookups, breakups, makeups and everything in between.

When the show debuted, Alex Kompothecras was at the center. He was introduced as the most popular guy in the Florida town and had worked his charm on many of the women in the area. Before the show began filming, he had a relationship with his lifelong friend Madisson Hausburg and went on to date Juliette Porter and Kelsey Owens before settling down and starting a family with Alyssa Salerno.

Madisson, for her part, had an up-and-down journey of her own, dating Brandon Gomes until he cheated. She eventually settled down with the last person anyone expected: the show's former producer Ish Soto who is 20 years older than her.

"It's been a really, really tough journey with, like, social media and just, like, having everyone, you know, constantly tear something that you cherish so much," Madisson told Us Weekly exclusively in May 2021. "It's really tough. I mean, I'm so grateful that people care and want to, you know, put their two cents in and have their opinions and, like, are so invested in our show. But at the same time, like, it's really hard to put ourselves out there and then to get so much criticism in return."

Over the course of the show, fans saw her get emotional when talking about the couple's future with her family, who didn't always support the relationship. Eventually, her parents came around and the twosome got engaged in 2020, but had a difficult time planning amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"It's a struggle for sure," she said at the time. "It's weird to plan a wedding. We can't have, you know, groups of a hundred people. I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. And I know he wouldn't. So it's tough to plan the dream wedding when you're in COVID."

After a season of talking about how much she couldn't wait to become a mother, Madisson announced her first pregnancy in August 2021.

Scroll through the gallery below for a breakdown of everyone who's dated on Siesta Key:

The original star of Siesta Key dated Madisson throughout high school, then moved on to Juliette during the first season of the show. When Juliette was first introduced on Siesta Key, she was hooking up with Alex. The pair had an on-and-off relationship for years, even hooking up in Nashville during a group trip when he was in a relationship with Alyssa. She briefly went on to date Garrett Miller and later Robby Hayes before meeting Sam Logan. The pair dated for less than two years, splitting in August 2021.

One year later, they revealed they were expecting their first child. The pair tied the knot in October 2021.

"Where do I even begin with this guy?! What an incredible man and inspiration. I love you endlessly and miss you so much already. You hung up your jersey last Friday after a hard fight with ALS," the former reality star, 25, captioned a series of Instagram photos on Friday, October 22, one week after his death. "Six years of extra innings and surpassing everyone's expectations both physically and mentally. My amazing dad, a true family man, my mentor, my inspiration and loving father. You fought so bravely. It was an absolute honor to know you for 25 years and to be your daughter."

Sarah continued, "Thank you for showing us humor, dignity and courage in the hardest of times. Thank you for teaching me so many valuable life lessons about resiliency, attitude and kindness."

Though he "lost so much over the years" due to his illness, which weakens muscles and impacts physical function, Sarah admired how her father's "positive spirit" always triumphed.

"You refused to let ALS cripple your goofy personality, your wit and wisdom, and most importantly you never let it dim your faith in Jesus," the California native added. "In difficult moments when we would notice the disease progressing, you would tell us, 'Good thing I love a challenge' and 'I believe my purpose in life is to be an inspiration to others.' And how could we forget you loved to remind us and our guests, 'The bar is open!' — so we never missed a chance to celebrate the big and small moments of life with you."

The broadcast journalist called Thomas "truly one of a kind," concluding, "I'll love you forever. Sarah appeared on Matt James' season of The Bachelor, which aired earlier this year. Though she appeared to have a strong connection with the ABC Food Tours founder, 29, she chose to take herself out of the running for his final rose so she could be with her family.

"What an incredible man and an inspiration to us all!" costar Rachael Kirkconnell, who's currently dating the North Carolina native, commented on Friday. "I know you'll continue to share his kindness and positivity to all of us. Praying for you guys and sending you so much love Sarah 💛."

Bachelor Nation's Katie Morton wrote, "Sending you so much love and hugs Sarah," while Chasen Nick noted, "Sending you all the love."

After her exit from the ABC series aired in January, Sarah confessed that things were harder than she expected within the Bachelor bubble.

"A couple of people told me that I would be able to talk with family," she claimed while speaking to Entertainment Tonight. "I thought I would be able to communicate with my parents and have access to a phone and talk with them, but some of those things turned out differently once I got there. I went in there with that full intention to find love with Matt and was expecting to be there for the full two months, but of course I couldn't have anticipated how difficult it could be."

Telling her side of the story. Emily Ratajkowski opened up about why she chose to write about her uncomfortable experience on the set of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" music video eight years after working with the musician.

"I had a hard time writing that essay for a bunch of different reasons but ultimately I decided to include it in the book because my experience on the BL set and how I talked about it says so much about the evolution of my beliefs and politics," Ratajkowski, 30, explained via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, October 21.

The model detailed the multitude of emotions that came with appearing in the 2013 video.

"Most of my jobs at that point kinda sucked — I was either shooting e-commerce for online stores where I felt like nothing more than a mannequin or I'd be in lingerie while some middle aged photographs told me to pout. BL was different," she continued. "I was surrounded by women I liked and trusted. I had fun on set, being a sexy girl in a music video made me feel hot and cool and powerful. I told the world that the experience was empowering. In many ways it was. You'll have to read the essay to fully understand the other sides to my experience."

After the chapter about her time on set with Thicke, 44, went viral earlier this month, Ratajkowski revealed how disappointed she was that readers won't get to experience her words the way she intended.

"What's frustrating is I didn't come out with it, it was leaked," the Gone Girl star shared during an interview with Extra shortly after the excerpt was shared around in October. "It's been hard for me. I really like to have control over my image and I wrote this book of essays to share the whole story and all sides of it, and I feel like it turns into a clickbait frenzy and all of a sudden words like 'sexual assault' and 'allegations' are getting thrown around rather than people reading the actual essay."

The leaked section from Ratajkowski's first book, My Body, which was posted by the Sunday Times of London, recalled an incident when the singer allegedly groped her.

"Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of a stranger's hands cupping my bare breasts from behind," the actress reportedly recounted in the memoir, which was posted on October 4. "I instinctively moved away, looking back at Robin Thicke. … He smiled a goofy grin and stumbled backward, his eyes concealed behind his sunglasses. My head turned to the darkness beyond the set."

At the time, Ratajkowski wasn't looking to draw attention to what happened and instead found herself "desperate to minimize" the situation.

"I pushed my chin forward and shrugged, avoiding eye contact, feeling the heat of humiliation pump through my body. I didn't react — not really, not like I should have," she reportedly wrote.

The Masked Singer, for his part, has yet to publicly address the allegations. Following the song's initial release, Thicke expressed regret in response to public backlash about the track's NSFW lyrics.

"I'd lost the intention, you know what I mean? I needed to regain my perspective and my positive intention of what my music was for — and what my life was for," the "Lost Without U" artist said during an interview with The New York Post in February. "Obviously, I was dealing with some bad habits. I was dealing with some personal issues on the inside that therapy and self-realization helped me get to and to get through."

He continued: "It doesn't matter what your intentions were when you wrote the song … [if] people were being negatively affected by it. And I think now, obviously, culture, society has moved into a completely different place."

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 48, and McDermott, 54, were spotted walking in the theme park alongside their five children — Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 9, Finn, 9, and Beau, 4 — on Thursday, October 21.

Photos published by Page Six showed the actress wearing a white Disney T-shirt and a pair of Minnie Mouse ears as the family of seven explored the Anaheim, California, amusement park.

Later that evening, the Masked Singer alum shared a sweet selfie as she rode on a carousel with Beau, who was dressed in a gray sweatshirt and matching Mickey Mouse pants.

In a separate video posted via her Instagram Story, the California native called out for daughter Stella, who was sitting a few seats ahead of her mom and brother on the carousel. "Stella, hi," the actress exclaimed as the teenager reached backward.

The family outing came on the heels of ongoing speculation that Spelling and McDermott's relationship is on the rocks. Earlier this month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the pair haven't been in the best place recently.

According to the insider, the couple — who wed in May 2006 — are "always on the verge of divorce" and Spelling "has been close to leaving [McDermott] many times." However, the source claimed that the True Tori alum "ends up staying for the kids' sake."

On Monday, October 18, the Stori Telling author was spotted outside an attorney's office in photos obtained by Page Six. At the time, the actress held a notepad that read "assets," "support" and "custody."

One month earlier, the "9021OMG" podcast host played coy about her relationship status during an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live.

"What I read is that Dean was there with you, putting on a brave front amid divorce rumors even though you're sleeping in separate beds. That's what it said," Jeff Lewis asked Spelling in September, referring to past reports about a rumored split after the pair were photographed together for the first time in months. "No, no I'm just telling you what I read. But you guys had a good time together with the kids?"

In June, the Mystery Girls alum told Lewis, 51, that the couple were sleeping in separate bedrooms.

"Right now, my kids and dogs sleep in my bed," Spelling added during the SiriusXM show at the time, before noting that the Canada native was sleeping "in a room" at their house after returning home from shooting a movie.

"Since he left — this is not good, you guys — but since he left [and] he was gone for six months filming in another country, they all stayed with me," the Mistle-Tones actress continued. "So I currently still have four in the bedroom with me who have yet to go back to their rooms, yes."

The pair's relationship has been rocky over the years since Us broke the news in December 2013 that McDermott had been unfaithful, shortly after the duo welcomed son Finn. The Chopped Canada host later checked into rehab as the twosome continued to work on their marriage.

"I know he's my soulmate. I know he's the love of my life. I also know he broke my heart," Spelling admitted in a joint therapy session, which was filmed for her True Tori series. "I'm so scared we won't grow old together. That's my biggest fear."
