Inside Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's Night Out With Travis and Kourtney Posted: 30 Oct 2021 07:35 PM PDT ![]() Holding hands! Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson looked close when they rode a rollercoaster at a theme park, but looks can be deceiving, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. The KKW Beauty founder, 41, and the Saturday Night Live cast member, 27, were spotted at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Kardashian and Davidson went on a late night trip to ride rollercoasters with Travis Barker, Kourtney Kardashian, Stephanie Shepherd, Harry Hudson and other friends. The group got the star treatment at the attractions. An eyewitness exclusively tells Us that they were able to cut the line for the rides. "Kim and Pete seemed like good friends,” the onlooker notes, adding that they were spotted around 1:20 a.m. The two have many acquaintances in common, including Machine Gun Kelly and Barker, 45, and they acted opposite each other on SNL. Kim impersonated Kourtney, 42, while Davidson pretended to be Kelly, 31, in a courtroom sketch. Another skit, riffing on Aladdin, had Davidson and Kim play love interests and even share a kiss. "Kim seemed very chill. It did seem like she was trying to hide," the eyewitness explains, noting that it seemed like there were over a dozen security guards with the big group. Any “chill” she had was apparently lost when the Skims founder got scared on a rollercoaster and had to close her eyes while holding onto Davidson’s hand. Still, the two aren’t in a relationship just because they’re holding hands. While the friends seemed to be having a great time, it was clearly a group outing rather than a date night. The insider tells Us that Davidson and Kim weren’t attached at the hip by any means, mingling with everyone in their group. It even looked as though the comedian was focused on Shepard more than anyone. The law school student hasn’t been officially linked to anyone since she announced her split from Kanye West earlier this year. The pair — who share children North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2 — officially split in February when Kim filed for divorce from the rapper, 44. Dating, however, concerns her, a source exclusively told Us in June. "She's not focused on dating at the moment but actually worries that guys will not want to date her because of how public her relationship was with Kanye," the insider said. The mother of four also thinks it would take her a lot of time to feel like she could trust a new guy at this point in her life. "She also knows how hard it is to build trust with someone so she thinks it's going to take time before letting someone into her private life," the source added at the time. "It was easy with Kanye because they were friends before so they had years' worth of trust." Reporting by Diana Cooper |
Her 'Best Friend'! Kendall Jenner Shares Devin Booker Tribute on His 25th Birthday Posted: 30 Oct 2021 05:55 PM PDT ![]() He’s not just her boyfriend but her best friend. Kendall Jenner shared a sweet tribute to her love, Devin Booker on his birthday. The NBA player turned 25 on Saturday, October 3, and his model girlfriend, also 25, shared a few special photos on social media. The first picture was a snap of her and Booker cuddling on a lounge chair. “Happy birthday best friend,” she wrote with a heart emoji. The 818 Tequila founder tagged the Olympian in the Instagram story. Jenner’s next slide appeared to be a FaceTime conversation that she saved a screenshot from. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star simply included three red heart emojis under her beau’s sweet smile. ![]() The couple has become more comfortable with flirty social media comments throughout the year. They first started going out in mid-2020, Us Weekly confirmed at the time, but they didn’t make their romance Instagram official until the following Valentine’s Day. Since then, the two don’t mind sharing the occasional personal pic with followers. Throughout October, Booker and Jenner have been in the Halloween spirit. Earlier this month, the two got competitive when carving pumpkins and shared photos of their jack-o-lanterns online. “Pumpkin dont count if you used a stencil," he tweeted on October 19. His girlfriend quoted his message in a retweet and jokingly added, "I feel personally attacked." Later in the month, Booker couldn’t help but notice Jenner’s Instagram carousel of Corpse Bride-inspired lingerie photoshoot by photographer Dana Trippe. "Yer corpse bride," the model, 25, captioned an Instagram gallery on Wednesday, October 27, which was a nod to the 2005 Tim Burton film. Booker left fans a little confused when he commented, “Don’t forget!” Many fans assumed that he meant his birthday was coming up. The couple celebrate their birthdays only a few days apart. While Booker turned 25 on Saturday, Jenner will turn 26 on Wednesday, November 3. The romance is serious for the pair, which is part of why Jenner is being more open than ever about a romance. As they celebrated their one-year anniversary in June, an insider exclusively told Us they had "practically moved in" together, cohabitating at Jenner's home in Los Angeles. "They really respect each other's careers and give each other space to focus on her modeling or his basketball career," the source explained at the time. "That's probably what makes their relationship work so well is that they have that work-life balance." Fans will have to wait and see if that means Jenner will finally open up about her romantic life on camera. The Kardashian-Jenner family’s new Hulu reality show is currently in production. |
Dorit Kemsley Breaks Her Silence After 'Terrifying' Robbery Posted: 30 Oct 2021 04:38 PM PDT ![]() Speaking out. Dorit Kemsley released her first statement since being robbed. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 45, was in her Encino Hills home with her kids on Wednesday, October 27, when three men broke in. The burglars reportedly made off with over $100,000 worth of valuables. Kemsley spoke out about the home invasion on Saturday, October 30. “As you all know by now, I have been through a terrifying ordeal, one that no parent or person should ever have to experience,” she shared in a Notes app screenshot via Instagram. “I’ve received so many messages of love and support and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s truly overwhelming. My kids are unaware of what happened, they slept through it and I thank God for keeping my kids and myself from being physically harmed.” Jagger, 7, and Phoenix, 5, were asleep at the time. P.K. Kemsley, their father, was out of town. He and Dorit attended a family wedding in the U.K. earlier this month. The reality star returned on Tuesday while her husband stayed in his native England longer. “My family now needs to start the healing process,” the Bravo star added. “I have thrown myself straight back into work as I want our family to return to normality as soon as possible.” The Connecticut native, who is also a fashion designer, continued, “With the love and support of my husband, my incredible, family, friends, fans and followers, I am confident this is the right thing to do whilst I independently work through the trauma. I’m so grateful to the LAPD for their care and attention. Thank you again for all of your support. Much love, Dorit.” In the caption of her Instagram post, the Quinnipiac University alum emphasized how thankful she feels in the aftermath. “More than anything, I'm feeling blessed that my kids and family are safe,” she added. “Truly grateful for the messages of love and support from you all who have reached out. P.K., 54, spoke out via Instagram one day prior to update everyone concerned about his family. "I would like to thank you all for your kind words of support. Dorit and myself have been overwhelmed by the show of love," the businessman, who returned to the U.S. after hearing the news, shared via Instagram on Friday, October 29. "We can't respond to every message ( I can't even respond to all the texts and what's apps)…. So I wanted to tell you all that we are doing OK." In a press release issued on Friday, October 29, the LAPD noted that Dorit "was in fear and complied with the suspects’ demands by directing them to valuables. The suspects took handbags, jewelry, and watches with a significant monetary loss and fled the location in a black truck." She has since been surrounded with support from her fellow RHOBH cast members. "Love you guys so much Executive producer Andy Cohen replied to P.K.’s statement on Friday. "We are all so grateful everyone is OK,” he commented via Instagram. “And Dorit can teach us all a thing or two about facing down danger." |
Not Speaking! Jesy Nelson Shares Where She Stands With Little Mix Now Posted: 30 Oct 2021 02:20 PM PDT Bad blood? Jesy Nelson doesn’t appear to be on the best of terms with her former band, Little Mix — but the reason why might need a little explaining. After winning The X-Factor UK in 2011, the original quartet — which included Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall — became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time thanks to hits like "Wings" and "Shout Out to My Ex." However, in December 2020, Nelson announced she was leaving the band to focus on her mental health. "I need to spend time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy," the British musician explained via Instagram, telling fans that after nine years she was "ready to embark on a new chapter in my life.” She added at the time, "I'm not sure what it's going to look like right now, but I hope you'll still be there to support me." Following her announcement, Edwards, Pinnock and Thirlwall publicly supported her decision, but also let fans know they would continue making music. "We are still very much enjoying our Little Mix journey and the 3 of us are not ready for it to be over," they noted via Instagram. In January 2021, Little Mix released their first photo without Nelson. Four months later, the remaining members dropped their first song as a trio — a remix of their 2020 song "Confetti" featuring rapper Saweetie. Later that year, the band announced their first greatest hits album, Between Us, which "includes all our hits, as well as some brand new songs we can’t wait for you to hear," the trio tweeted of the November 2021 release, adding, "This album is for each and every one of you who’s listened to our music, bought an album or sung your heart out at our shows. We wouldn’t be here releasing this album if it wasn’t for you.” While Nelson's former bandmates worked on new music and welcomed babies — Edwards and Pinnock both became first-time moms in 2021 — she was in the studio working on her solo debut. Nelson returned to the scene in October 2021 with her first single, "Boyz," featuring Nicki Minaj. After the release of the song's video, she was accused of "blackfishing," which refers to when a non-Black person uses photoshop, makeup or other means to make their skin or appearance look more Black. Edward, Pinnock and Thirlwall got dragged into the controversy — along with Minaj. Keep scrolling to find out everything you need to know about where Jesy Nelson stands with her ex-girl group: ![]() Nelson announced via Instagram in December 2020 that she would be leaving the group after nine years. “The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health,” she explained at the time. The remaining members of Little Mix later told fans it was “an incredibly sad time for all of us but we are fully supportive of Jesy,” also revealing that they would be continuing on without her. News of Nelson’s departure came one month after the singer told fans she would be taking “an extended break” from Little Mix “for private medical reasons.” Shutterstock (2) ![]() After releasing a video for her first solo single, “Boyz," in October 2021, the Brit was accused of “blackfishing.” In response to the criticism, Nelson told Vulture that month, “I love Black culture. I love Black music. That’s all I know; it’s what I grew up on,” claiming she's “very aware that I’m a white British woman; I’ve never said that I wasn’t.” The X-Factor UK alum had a message for the haters. “I want to be authentic and true to myself, and if people don’t like that, don’t be my fan,” she said. “Don’t be a part of my journey.” Beretta/Sims/Shutterstock ![]() Shortly after the Vulture interview was published, Little Mix fans noticed that Edwards, Pinnock and Thirlwall had unfollowed Nelson. Edwards’ dog, Hatchi, had also unfollowed the About a Boy actress. The trio did not comment as to why they ditched their former bandmate on social media, but fans believed it was tied to Nelson’s response to the backlash about her music video. Shutterstock ![]() The “Starships” rapper, who is featured on Nelson’s “Boyz,” spoke out in the singer’s defense while accusing the British singer’s former bandmates, who she did not address by name, of being jealous. "Stop. If you want a solo career, baby girl, just say that," Minaj said during an Instagram Live she cohosted with Nelson in October 2021. "You can go out and put [out] your own music. We're gonna support you and love you. That's it. You don't have to attack someone else.” Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock ![]() Days after Minaj slammed Pinnock and her bandmates for being jealous of Nelson’s solo success, the British singer appeared to address the "Monster" rapper’s comments at her 30th birthday party. “I’m 30 years old. I know my character, you know my character, anyone that meets me knows my f--king character,” she said in a video from the October 16 event, according to Page Six. “That’s all I care about.” Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock |
Alec Baldwin Speaks on Camera for 1st Time About Halyna Hutchins' Death Posted: 30 Oct 2021 01:29 PM PDT Speaking out. Amid the ongoing investigation into the prop gun shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza, Alec Baldwin has spoken out about the harrowing tragedy for the first time on camera. "I'm not allowed to make any comments because it's an ongoing investigation," the 30 Rock alum, 63, told reporters on Saturday, October 30, per TMZ. "I've been ordered by the sheriff's department in Santa Fe, I can't answer any questions about the investigation. I can't — it's an active investigation in terms of a woman died. She was my friend." The actor, who had been spending time in Vermont with wife Hilaria Baldwin and their kids, recalled his bond with the late filmmaker. ![]() "The day I arrived in Santa Fe to start shooting, I took her to dinner with Joel, the director," the Dr. Death alum recalled. "We were a very, very well-oiled crew shooting a film together and then this horrible event happened." The Boss Baby actor further noted that he has met with Hutchins' family, including her husband and son, in the wake of the accident. "The guy is overwhelmed with grief. You know, there are incidental accidents on film sets from time to time but nothing like this," Alec added. "This is a one in a trillion event, and so he is in shock [and] has a 9-year-old son. We are in constant contact with him. We're very worried about his family and his kid, and we're eagerly awaiting for the sheriff's department telling us what their investigation has yielded." While the New York native doesn't believe Rust will resume production anytime soon, he was vocal about "cooperating" with police officers working on the case, whom he's talked to daily. He also opened up about the ongoing discussions about the overall use of guns on film sets. "I do know that an ongoing effort to limit the use of firearms on film sets is something I'm extremely interested in," the Saturday Night Live alum noted. Alec previously released a statement sharing his condolences after the incident, writing on October 22 via Twitter, "There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna." One day earlier, the 42-year-old Ukraine native was taken to a New Mexico hospital, where she was pronounced dead, after the actor discharged the prop weapon on set. Less the one week later, the 37-year-old yoga instructor similarly broke her silence about the tragedy. "My heart is with Halyna," Hilaria wrote via Instagram on Monday, October 25. "Her husband. Her son. Their family and loved ones. And my Alec. It's said, 'There are no words' because it's impossible to express the shock and heartache of such a tragic accident. Heartbreak. Loss. Support." |
Tom Brady Reflects on ‘Very Difficult Issue’ in Gisele Bundchen Marriage Posted: 30 Oct 2021 11:30 AM PDT ![]() Having the tough conversations. While Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen had an enduring relationship over the years, they're not immune to marital challenges. While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, 44, has balanced their marriage and family dynamics with his successful football career, he admitted that the supermodel, 41, had to put her career on hold to manage their household. "But that's an issue, and it's a very difficult issue to reconcile without just saying, 'Hey, it's time to retire,'" the NFL champion revealed on the Tuesday, October 26, episode of his "Let's Go" podcast. “And I think there's, you know, we're coming to the end here too, so I don't want to miss any of the kids' stuff." He continued at the time, "I think my wife has, you know, held down the house for a long time now, and I think there's things that she wants to accomplish. You know, she hasn't worked as much in the last 10, 12 years just raising our family and kind of committing to being in a life in Boston and then moving to Florida [following his March 2020 trade]." Following Brady's Super Bowl LV victory in February, the Brazil native previously discussed her husband's potential retirement. ![]() "All of a sudden, I saw my wife and I gave her a big hug," the professional athlete recalled of his postgame actions during an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden one month later. "And just as I did it, she said, 'What more do you have to prove?' I just gave her a big hug. I was trying to figure out a way to change the subject really quick." While the Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life author is ready for her spouse to hang up his jersey, Brady has remained undecided. "Beyond [next year's season], I don't know," he later admitted during a September interview with the Wall Street Journal Magazine. "Maybe it's another year after that; maybe it's two. I'll have to see where I'm at with my family. That's probably the overriding factor — what I'm missing out on." The football player and Bündchen tied the knot in 2009 before welcoming son Benjamin, 11, and daughter Vivian, 8. Brady — who also shares son Jack, 14, with ex Bridget Moynahan — previously gushed about a single telephone conversation that kickstarted his long romance with the model. "I think the one phone call that changed my life was my friend Ed, who called me one day and he said, 'I have this girl and I think you should call her,'" he told WSJ. Magazine at the time. "I ended up calling her and it ended up being the love of my life. … She didn't pick up, actually. I had to leave a voicemail.” Since then, the pair have remained a dynamic duo and celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary earlier this year. "Gisele and Tom will be spending time with their family for their wedding anniversary. They're both just happy to be spending time together," a source exclusively told Us Weekly in February of their milestone plans. "At this time, they're aware that families are suffering and have suffered during the pandemic, so their focus is just making sure their family and everyone close to them is safe. They try their best to have a happy and healthy family always." |
Caroline Jones Shares Behind-the-Scenes Stories of ‘Bachelorette’ Performance Posted: 30 Oct 2021 11:00 AM PDT Caroline Jones joined Us Weekly's "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast after appearing on Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette — and she's sharing everything she saw shined the scenes in Palm Springs, Calfornia. "I got to meet [Michelle] once earlier in the day and then once after we performed for her," the 31-year-old country singer said on the Friday, October 29, episode of the podcast. "She seemed to be very sweet, very smart, very sharp and very self-aware, very professional. I see why she’s so popular — not only with the men — but also all the people who work on the show seemed to really love her a lot." Caroline performed her hit "Chasin’ Me" on the Tuesday, October 26, episode of the ABC series, a track that she told Us she's been waiting (and hoping) to sing on the reality show. "It’s difficult to be a detective while you’re performing. I was really focused on trying to give them the best experience possible," she continued when asked about Michelle's date with Jamie Skaar on Tuesday's episode. "We had a great rehearsal, we had great soundcheck, but it’s really about the moment that they walked in, like, nailing that for them and setting the energy and setting the mood with the music. I was more enjoying their intimacy [and] I wasn’t necessarily, you know, like, judging from the side. … At the actual time, it was super romantic. I was like, 'I just have to make this a special moment for them.'" After the one-on-one date, Jamie came under fire for telling Michelle that everyone in the house was talking about her alleged past with Joe Coleman. The Minnesota natives subsequently denied having a pre-show romance, with Michelle explaining they DMed twice "years" prior. ![]() "He seemed so sweet. I mean, he is sweet," Caroline told Us of Jamie. "You could argue for what he did, or the way that he did it, so I don’t think it’s necessarily a black-and-white issue. … I will say he was very nice to me. And hearing his story, like, how they set up the date with his story and that moment was really profound, actually, it was really powerful. And I had no idea performing for them that they just had that conversation or that moment or those tears or any of that." Caroline added that the dates require "a lot of shooting" despite what makes it to air. "When they’re walking into somewhere, like, they had to set up that shot. There's dozens of people who have to set up every shot," she explained. "Our set for my performance was so beautifully constructed. And there was a whole art team that created that and dreamt that up and got all the materials." The singer's sophomore album, Antipodes, is due out November 12. "It’s been a long, long time in the works," Caroline told Us of the record. "I’ve been, you know, pursuing all this professionally since I was in high school at 19 years old. But in recent years, it’s really taken off. And that’s really thanks to Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney and Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, all of whom have taken me on tour and introduced me to their fans. So the career that I have thus far I really owe to touring and performance opportunities like The Bachelorette." |
LOL! Sam Asghari Trolls Fiancee Britney Spears for Calling Him Her ‘Boyfriend’ Posted: 30 Oct 2021 10:50 AM PDT Stronger together! It was love at first sight when Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met in October 2016 on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video. "I was excited that I [would] get to meet one of the biggest artists of all time," the personal trainer recalled to Men's Health in July 2018. "I had butterflies." But when Asghari tried to break the ice, he almost ruined his chances with the Grammy winner. "She said, 'Hi, I'm Britney,' and I said, 'I'm sorry, what's your name again?'" he told the magazine. "I tried to be funny. I don't think anybody got it." Fortunately, Spears was charmed by the fitness model and they started chatting about one of their favorite foods, sushi. They continued to talk throughout the shoot and exchanged phone numbers by the end so that they could set up a proper first date. And the rest, as they say, was history. "I found his number in my bag. I was like, 'He is really cute. This guy is really cute,'" the Princess of Pop recounted during a January 2017 radio interview. "So then I called him, and ever since then, he is just a really fun, funny person." Since then, Asghari has been a huge support system for Spears in her personal and professional lives. He was a fixture in the audience during her Piece of Me residency in Las Vegas and helped her come out stronger than yesterday (pun intended) after she spent 30 days in a mental health facility in spring 2019. "In my opinion Jamie is a total dick. I won't be going into details because I've always respected our privacy but at the same time I didn't come to this country to not be able to express my opinion and freedom." Boris Johnson: The Queen Is ‘On Very Good Form’ After Health Concerns Posted: 30 Oct 2021 10:45 AM PDT Staying strong. Queen Elizabeth II‘s health has been the subject of much speculation after she completed a short hospital stay in October, but the 95-year-old royal isn’t ready to slow down too much. The monarch first sparked concern after she walked with a cane during an October 12 appearance at Westminster Abbey in London for a Service of Thanksgiving. When the queen arrived at the church, her daughter, Princess Anne, handed her the accessory. Earlier in the month, Elizabeth walked on her own during a visit to Scotland with her eldest son, Prince Charles. The royal matriarch is also the mother of Prince Andrew and Prince Edward with her late husband, Prince Philip, who died at age 99 in April. Three weeks after her Scottish appearance, the monarch canceled a trip to Northern Ireland after her medical team recommended that she take it easy. "The Queen has reluctantly accepted medical advice to rest for the next few days," Buckingham Palace said in an October 20 statement, adding that she was "in good spirits" and "disappointed" to miss the planned events. One day later, a spokesperson for the palace revealed that Elizabeth spent the night in the hospital after canceling her Northern Ireland plans. "Following medical advice to rest for a few days, The Queen attended hospital on [October 20] for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits," Buckingham Palace said in a statement on October 21. The queen seemed to recuperate within a few days, returning to work on October 26 to receive ambassadors from Korea and Switzerland via video link. Later that day, however, Buckingham Palace confirmed that she would not attend an upcoming event in Scotland. "Her Majesty is disappointed not to attend the reception but will deliver an address to the assembled delegates via a recorded video message," the palace said in a statement. The monarch was set to appear at a reception on November 1 with other world leaders, including President Joe Biden and U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Earlier in October, news broke that the queen previously declined an award called Oldie of the Year presented by The Oldie magazine. "Her Majesty believes you are as old as you feel," Tom Laing-Baker, the royal’s assistant private secretary, wrote in a letter that The Oldie shared via social media on October 19. “As such the Queen does not believe she meets the relevant criteria to be able to accept and hopes you find a more worthy recipient." She will be unable to attend the Festival of Remembrance on November 13 — but intends to be present for the National Service of Remembrance the following day. Arthur Edwards/WPA Pool/Shutterstock |

"I would like to thank you all for your kind words of support," PK, 54, wrote via Instagram. "Dorit and myself have been overwhelmed by the show of love. We can't respond to every message (I can't even respond to all the texts and what's apps)…. So I wanted to tell you all that we are doing ok. Days earlier, Us Weekly confirmed that their family’s Encino, California home was burglarized on Wednesday, October 27. "A home invasion robbery happened at 10:50 pm last night and it happened at the 1700 block of Adlon Road," the Los Angeles Police Department said via a statement on Thursday, October 28. "We don't have specific details of the investigating detective or if a gun was used or not. We're getting very vague information since it's in its preliminary stages." Per the report, the Connecticut native was sleeping when three men broke into her home, entering her room with a gun. The couple's children — Jagger, 7, and Phoenix, 5 — were also home at the time of the incident, with Dorit allegedly pleading with the robbers not to harm them, the Daily Mail reported at the time. The outlet also noted that $100,000 worth of handbags and jewelry were stolen after the men broke in by smashing the door of her children's at-home classroom to gain entrance. According to a press release from LAPD, Dorit "was in fear and complied with the suspects’ demands by directing them to valuables. The suspects took handbags, jewelry and watches with a significant monetary loss and fled the location in a black truck." Amelia Gray Hamlin Jokingly Doesn’t ‘Get’ Sister Delilah’s Scott Disick Shade Posted: 30 Oct 2021 07:16 AM PDT Supportive sisters! The Rinna-Hamlin household has made it crystal-clear they support Amelia Gray Hamlin after her breakup from Scott Disick, and sister Delilah Belle Hamlin took it up a notch. Amelia, 20, shared an Instagram gallery of photos on Friday, October 29, captioning it, "the devil wears @alo." In the photos, Amelia lounged on a cozy black blanket on the floor, surrounded by open fashion magazines. Her older sister, 23, for her part, jokingly commented on the social media upload, "Way better than the photos talentless took," which seemingly referenced the name of Amelia's ex-boyfriend's clothing line. However, Amelia seemingly wasn't on board with the subtle dig as she replied, “@delilahbelle why don’t i get it." Nearly one week earlier, Amelia opened up about feeling great amid the recent breakup from the 38-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, writing, "Rly rly happy," via a Sunday, October 24, Instagram gallery, alongside snaps of the California native smiling, eating pancakes and jokingly flipping off the camera. Us Weekly previously broke the news that the pair had split after less than one year of dating in September. "Amelia was the one who ended things," an insider told Us at the time, noting the split "wasn't related to the messages Scott sent about Kourtney. This breakup was coming regardless." Amelia and Delilah's mother, Lisa Rinna, further opened up about the nature of the pair's breakup during the second part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 reunion episode. "She made [the decision] on her own," the Rinna Beauty founder, 58, told Andy Cohen at the time. “There's never one reason why I think people split up, you know. Now's the time to heal, now's the time for everyone to heal." The Melrose Place alum, for her part, has been vocal over her disapproval of the exes' former relationship with a source telling Us that their eventual split "had a lot to do with how her mom felt about him — she was never a fan." Rinna even publicly wished her daughter was dating former One Direction singer Harry Styles instead of the Flip It Like Disick alum with several pro-Harry Instagram uploads. "Why can't it be Harry Styles? Why the f–k is it Scott Disick?" the Bravo personality joked during the August 25 episode of RHOBH. "My husband, Harry [Hamlin], made it quite clear that he would not object if Delilah and Eyal [Booker, her boyfriend] got married, which is pretty shocking, but that says a lot. I can't say the same for Amelia at this point now." Days before the pair called it quits, they sparked breakup speculation after Amelia posted cryptic messages via Instagram. After their split, Serena Kerrigan opened up about how Amelia was coping post-split. "We talked about Scott, yeah. It's fresh. It's hard," the Siesta Key alum, 27, exclusively told Us on September 12 of her friend. "I was like, 'You're super young and super hot and have the whole world at your fingertips, like, you're fine.' She was like, 'You're right.'" |
Jameela Jamil: 25 Things You Don't Know About Me Posted: 30 Oct 2021 05:00 AM PDT She’s an open book. Jameela Jamil is known for her refreshing honesty, but she managed to find a few things fans might not know to share exclusively told Us Weekly. The Good Place star, 35, recently opened up about living with a disability. She suffers from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a disorder affecting the connective tissue in the body that can cause a wide range of symptoms from easily dislocated bones to blood vessel ruptures. “I know what it's like to feel like the world isn't built for you,” she said via Instagram in September. “People project their own understanding of how people with a disability should look, act and live. This makes people with a disability (like me) feel as though their rights aren't protected.” ![]() That’s why she proudly encouraged people to listen to the “Equal Too” podcast. “Sophie [Morgan] and Sinead [Burke] are our amazing hosts who lead us through really important conversations with the absolute rock stars who are driving the movement for equality and inclusion for people with disability,” Jamil explained. “Let me just say, if I'd had access to conversations like these at age 13, things might have been different for me.” When she isn’t advocating for those with invisible disabilities, she promotes realistic beauty standards and legislation supporting women’s rights. Still, the former English teacher finds time to light up the small screen, with her next role being opposite Tatiana Maslany in Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk, a new Disney+ series. Check out more fun facts about Jamil below: 1. My nickname is Bambi — because every time I walk, it looks like the first time. 13. I have an invisible disability called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome that makes me so bendy that I can pretty much kiss my own arse. |
